Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh what's going on? Everybody?

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Welcome in here, Week fourteen of the NFL.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
We will break it all down.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
First things first, Oh, Tony watches over Jeff. I'm sorry,
he's a member of the Dodgers. Not going to the
giants over here.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
It's gonna make it more fun when they lose in
the NLDS next season to another division rival. So, I mean,
you know, all you can do is laugh about those things.
Look seventy million dollars. It's I mean, the Dodgers are
trying their best to buy a championship. I'll tell you that.
And it's it's happened one time, so nineteen eighty eight,
and then one time it happened, guys, it was in
a bubble and they played a third of a season.

(00:41):
So I have contended for a long time now that
the Dodgers have won just a third of a championship
in the last thirty five years. So can you gratations
to them? It's a big win for them. Offse's had
champions again.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Good morning, guys. D You know this is uh of
course we're looking at these giant numbers, but I'm sure
the Dodgers have a plan of an ROI on their
seven hundred million dollars. So I've been to a couple
of games there and the games I went through just
didn't have that fan support. They literally were leaving the

(01:15):
stadium before the game ended to go catch the Laker game.
This way they could be at both games and show
selfies that they were there. That's the kind of a
town I felt LA was. The fan base was just
not not only fair weather, but just me me me so.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
But however, though, correct ahead, let me explain the LA fans.
I'm from Los Angeles. I'm not a Dodgers fan, but
I know the fan base well and everything is that.
They are a terrible regular season fan base, but they
might be the they when it's playoff time. LA fans
are ready to go. Like playoff time. That's a good fit.

(01:50):
It's a good place to be for to watch a
sporting event. It's loud, it's for Dodgers, Lakers all. It's
the USC football. When things are good, it is good.
Man again is good. When it's bad, people leave, they
do other things. It's just like the way it is.
It's but I'll tell you what postseason I mean Dodger
fans fifty six thousand. It's a huge stadium. Staple Center

(02:14):
seats nearly twenty thousand. It is, these places get big.
You know, if there was if the mid season tournament
was in Los Angeles last night, it would have been
a big, giant, happy Laker fan crowd. So they're great
for big events, crack, but a Tuesday night when they're
playing the Marlins, you know, it's in twenty seven thousand
Dodger fans are at that place for two winnings.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
To further my point though, exactly when when it's time
to show for the bigger events that maybe they be
sold out. But like you go back east to like
you know, gritty grind them out of places like New York, Philly, Cleveland.
They have a tough fan base year round, it seems
like to me, but I understand it though. There's a

(02:55):
lot of things to do in LA.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
By the way, not all doom and gloom for you, Jeff,
you're docs. They get quarterback Dylan Gabriel going over there
from Oklahoma. So that's that's a big get. With bow
Nicks leaving, it.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Is I thought you were talking about how the Lakers
are raising their eighteenth banner. I got to figure out
if I care about this or not. I joked for
weeks about how the winner of this tournament is going
to put up a banner and I make it a
big deal. And I didn't realize the Lakers might have
been one of those teams. And I'm going to be
very embarrassed if my Lakers put up a banner for

(03:29):
winning a mid season tournament. I'll tell you what though, Brian,
I don't know about you, Cracked. I wasn't young. I
know Lakers' futures, and I'm sure the price now is
not great as it was a month ago. But hey man,
Anthony Davis healthy and the Lakers can win a champion
like a real champion.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Oh yeah, I was there last night, guys, a rare game.
Someone my buddies were in town and they asked me
to go. They had a seat. We were up at
a luxury of luxury.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
They have to pay you to go, Crack.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
You know, I usually don't go to games, so you're
you're right, That's is the way it felt like for me.
But I did. I did go, and I was really
impressed with a See. I just don't follow too much
NBA and the guy he mentioned absolutely, I had no
idea he was the highest play player in basketball either.
I didn't know that Anthony d a D. I did

(04:15):
not know that he had the biggest count three years,
one hundred and eighty four million, I think it was.
And I'll tell you he is absolutely the you know,
one of the stars of the team, right right behind Lebron.
And you said it right, I mean there was there's
some big chances here for them to go far.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
So this is the thing about Anthony Davis. It's so
frustrating as a Lakers fan, as an NBA fan. Is
what he had forty twenty last night? No, he had
something like that, right, yeah, But then next week he
might be he might have eight and three, and you're like,
what do we do? What are we doing?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
He's nursing a groin like nursing a calf, you know.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, sure, It's.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Just that's a frustrating partment a d is he he
can be that most nights. I'm not forty twenty, but
you know, give me thirty and thirteen, right, Like, he
can be that player any night he wants, he wants crack.
But then there's like games where like You're like, it's
game five, it's a must win, and he has eleven
points for rebounds and four fouls. You're like, wait, what

(05:16):
what are we doing? Ad? So consistency with him has
always been the biggest issue. But when he's on man,
I mean he's a seven foot point guard. Yeah, dude,
he played point guard all as a kid, because then
he grew like eight inches in his senior year in
high school and that's something like that where he grew
in and sand them out very quickly. So he's a
point guard at his size. It's frustrated sometimes to watch
him play because you figure he can be the more

(05:37):
dominating the post. But when he's on man. You saw
the last couple of days and I thought it was fun.
How Look, I thought the MINCIN Tournament was a see
idea and I still don't really truly understand it doesn't
change any about this NBA season. But the guys like
really wanted the money. I was very wrong about that, Brian,
I mean lebron A d Are like. I mean, look,
they had millionaires, more money than we can count both

(05:57):
of us or three of us, I should say, but
they seem to really care about that hundred grand and
I know that the younger players, that's a big chunk
of change for them. But like Lebron, ain't do you
like non extra trip now, like you could afford the
trip anyways, The money makes it nicer. But still, but
you're right.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It was a home run.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I thought the idea was goofy at first, but it was.
It was really well executed and it gave the NBA
a boost if I go out of my way. I
watched the NBA regularly, but I went out of my
way to watch the championship game last night and it
was fun.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
So that was a win for the NBA.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
If it is the who's a mildly entertaining Western Conference team,
that's not the Lakers, who.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Like mildly entertaining, I'd say, like the Clippers.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
What if it was like Clippers Pacers. I feel like
the Lakers be in this very much helped the league.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Oh completely, no doubt, a huge shot in the arm
that the Lakers got there. And there was that weird
loose ball against the Suns where they granted the time
out to the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Right, like Lakers and the cachet. That's good for business.
There's no doubt about that.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
But let me turn your attention to the NFL over here,
because the week that was with the Jets was really
interesting to me. All the drama with Zach Wilson. He
is the starting quarterback again. There were reports earlier in
the week that he was reluctant to take over as
QB one because he had some injury concerns, and then

(07:36):
he takes the job on Wednesday. Oh no, never felt
that way whatsoever. YadA, YadA, YadA. And the interesting thing crack,
especially for you with the point spread. There's been Jets
money coming in all week. His point spread has gone down, down,
down toward the Jets throughout the week. As it's progressed,

(07:56):
it's down to the Greets are a three point home
under dog right now.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Opened up at six on Sunday night, and it's just.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Been steadily ticking down just the Okay, now it's four
and a half. Now it's four, now, it's three and
a half, three all the way down to three.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
You cannot bet this game three though, guys. You can't bet.
The only way to bet this game that was Houston.
If you don't get the best of the line, I
normally will pass. But this three point move through some
key numbers here, No, no way I can bet the Jets.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Now, what is okay, Crack? What is the what?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
What?

Speaker 4 (08:32):
What's the rationale? Here? Is it? I was trying I
think of this game. My own podcast is sweet trying
to pick you or five the week that we take
four to one last week, by the way, guys won
Yeah again?

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Nice?

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Is like, what is the rationale? Is it because Zach
Wilson doesn't make the Jets any better? So is it?
Is it a fate of the Texans at too many points?
For the Texans are sort of a hot team going
on the road. The weather. I'm in New York right now, guys.
The weather's gonna be miserable about two pm today, heavy rain.
So maybe it's a it's a weather situation here, But
what about the Jets, Crack? Why are people putting money

(09:06):
on them today?

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Yeah? You know, you know, listen, Houston is already at
their season wind. You know when you know, we could
bet in the gambling world, guys, for people that don't
know out there, ladies and gentlemen, you can bet over
under season wins and Houston is already at their number.
So they're according to the priest NFL season before it started.

(09:31):
Odds makers, they're already at their season wins, so they've
been playing I guess over their head. But look at
this quarterback. I think he's actually you know, he every
single Sunday it seems like he gets bet So we'll
see what happens with this game today if it goes
back up to the three and a half and maybe
even a little higher with juice. But you know, it

(09:51):
is New York. It's a low total thirty three. There
is going to be some rain in the forecast, some wind.
I lean to the under in this, by the way,
especially even in the first half, and give it out
picks already. What else would I do? But yeah, this
is an interesting game today went like I said, from
the six down to the three. Can't bet anything right
now on the side, in my opinion, you missed the

(10:14):
good numbers. And you know you want to be a
pro better. A pro better not only gets the game
at the top of the line, but even on the
way down. Maybe, But you can't call yourself a pro
if you're betting the steam chasing crowd at the bottom
of the barrel. You have to be on the other
side of that game or just pass.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, it's crazy to me because yeah, you look at.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Yeah, I bet under for yeah the first half under
if you can have to get the seventeen and you
have to get seventeen, if you can still get it one,
two or three shops for seventeen past the sixteen and
a half there, Jeff passed that.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Yeah, it's Jets have not been an offensive machine. We
all know that they've scored get this, ten offensive touchdowns
this season.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
That's through twelve.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
They have pen offensive touchdowns in twelve games. The Texans
have twenty nine offensive touchdowns so far this season. So
I don't understand the steam. I don't know if the
thought is, hey, they just need competent quarterback play, and
compared to Tim Boyle and Trevor Simeon, maybe you think

(11:20):
Zach Wilson can do that, But I got news for you.
He's not a competent NFL quarterback. Like Jeff said, he
doesn't make them better. So I don't see the Jets
scoring a whole heck of a lot. Maybe you look
at this and say, hey, CJ. Stroud, who's been fantastic,
but in weather against a really solid defense, who's shut
down top quarterbacks one after another, Jalen Hurtz, Mahomes, Herbert,

(11:45):
Josh Allen. Maybe maybe you think that the Jets defense
does it again. But I just don't understand all the
steam toward the Jets.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I don't get that at all.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Yeah, especially when Houston needs the game for playoffs.

Speaker 3 (11:58):

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yes, we are following the money with our guy, Christian Zippolini,
BETMGM Trading Manager. Happy week for it scene to you, Christian,
what does it seem like? Is one of the sharper
plays of the day. If you can enlighten us on that,
we'd appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (14:32):
That tough one there on the spot. I mean a
lot of these lines have kind of moved all over
the place this week. I'd say the one that I'm
the most surprised about is the New York Jets. That
line kind of flew in a ton on the Jets
today and we actually have more money right now on
the Jets at three and a half, so a little
bit surprising for me on that one.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
We've seen lines move a little bit with some quarterback news.
Trevor Lawrence, I suppose he's going to play, and we
saw that line go down to one and a half,
Brown still favored. Maybe General Smith doesn't play. That's out
the thirteen and a half. Now for the forty nine ers.
Are those moves an overaction or is that extra the
right move to make with some of the quarterback news.

Speaker 8 (15:14):
Yeah, those ones are always the toughest for us when
we kind of uncertainty of the quarterback. I'd say the
Jaguars specifically, because that's one where you know, it kind
of looked like Trevor wasn't going to play. But now
let's come all the way back around, so that way
all the way over. You know, Jag started his three
point favorites game all the way back towards the Browns. Now,
I'm interested to see where we're gonna end up settling

(15:34):
at the Seahawks forty nine ers one is one of
the teams like Geno, you know, might be more likely
to not play. Yeah, which gave a pretty good line. Movie.
That's one where we're definitely gonna need the Seahawks houses
out there.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
Good morning, Christian looks like Cleveland Jacksonville. Sometimes the betters,
I'm gonna say more than sometimes the better is get
this information quicker than some of the sportsbooks due to
the you know, following the beat reporters and other various ways.
I'm seeing this Cleveland Jacksonville game go up to thirty
seven now bet MGM just you know, moved it again

(16:06):
to thirty six and a half. Looks like it's going
to go up to thirty seven, moving about three four points,
about three points this morning on the total. This shows
me that maybe he is playing. Now. I'm really surprised
after watching last week's game, Lawrence would be able to
come right back this week, you know, ten am in
the morning here Vegas time coming right back to you know,

(16:29):
he's not gonna come back to himself. But are you
guys getting some money on the over now also or
is that just a reactionary because of the other sports books?
And what do you think do you think he will play?

Speaker 8 (16:42):
I'm thinking at this point he's gonna end up playing.
This one was an interesting one on the total because
it got down for us all the way down to
thirty and a half. That was a combo of h
it's not playing, and also this being a bit of
a weather in BacT the game. A lot of the
early movement was coming from this weather coming. And the
weather also doesn't look to be as bad as it

(17:02):
is originally expected to be, So I think it's kind
of a little bit of combo of both Lawrence and
this weather looking a bit better, says pushing that total
all the way back up. We've seen mixed setting. Early
in the week, when we kind of saw a couple
of games on the weather news, we were taking some unders,
you know, follow the market down that way, But now

(17:22):
now a lot of these are starting to come back up.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Christian, how about this Eagles Cowboys game? Cowboys favored by
three and a half. Right now, it's fluctuated a little bit.
What's your best guess where the line is going to
set at right before kickoff, if you expect it to
move at.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
All or not.

Speaker 8 (17:41):
Right now, we have more money on the Eagles at
three and a half, but when we weren't three earlier
in the week, we were taking more Cowboys money. So
it's kind of going back and forth.

Speaker 9 (17:50):
My guess is that it may come back towards the
Eagles as we get closer, but it's a little bit
of a guessing game at this point because we are
getting you know, either side of that number is what
we're going to get the action on.

Speaker 8 (18:02):
So we'll see what's happening. Right now, We're going to
need the Eagles up.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Chiefs are under a field goal favorite against the Bills.
It's one and a half right now. Mahomes generally has
been very good in this spot. They did not cover
a couple we see against the Eagles when he's under
a three point favorite. Where are seeing the money on
this game.

Speaker 8 (18:22):
On the Chiefs? Actually, whatever more lopsided sides we actually
have this week, we have about seventy five to eighty
percent of the money coming in on the Chiefs, which
surprised me as well. I thought we'd have a little
bit more buffalo backing. But I guess for this shorter
point total under you right now we're at one and
a half. I think that, I guess is entire things
the Chiefs fans, but I'll be curious to see if

(18:43):
that holds the way it is.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
Now, what is your biggest positions of the day. I
know when you first come on, you said that the
Jets were getting money right as we stand now, even
we could even throw Tomorrow Night's games in everybody. I
know that most people are fickle and we'll wait till
the game time to play. Right now, looks like your
biggest risk, your biggest exposures across the board.

Speaker 8 (19:06):
It's going to end up being between the Bills, Chiefs
and Eagles Cowboys because we're gonna end up taking a
lot of handle on that. We kind of expected Eagles
Cowboys Sunday Night game to be a top three bet
on game in terms of handle this season, So I
think that's going to end up make or breaking us
this week. We do have a couple where we're pretty lopsided.
I mentioned the Jets there. We're taking a decent amount

(19:29):
of Browns money, but a lot of that's been kind
of through the week for Bengals as well. Actually, with
another one that surprised me, we're taking a lot more
Bengals money as opposed. Oh yeah, pretty.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
Good, Yeah, pretty big. But Philadelphia, you think tonight will
be your biggest exposure and you'll so you'll be rooting
for the Dallas side, Is that what you're saying as
of right now?

Speaker 8 (19:50):
But those Sunday Night games can kind of change as
we get really close to kick cooffee and we get
a majority of our money as we get there. As
of right now the fans, but I'm not I think
it'll end closer to fifty to fifty as we get there.
But that's a guess at this point.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
What would be your biggest desire for the week? Christian?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Meaning if you could, you could choose one outcome of
one game, and you can pick something that's going to
benefit you guys, maybe wreck some teasers or just an
outright result that benefits you the most.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Which team? Which game would you choose?

Speaker 8 (20:24):
But usually I would pick the Sunday night game, But
like I said, I think that'll get close. So if
we could pick one, he'd probably be the Seahawks just
winning out right. I think that would knock a lot
of you know, people are throwing them into parlays thinking
it's a free leg. There's a lot of teaser legs
that are probably going to be combined with the forty
nine ers there. So we haven't taken a lot of
Seahawks money. I don't anticipate taking it, So that's probably

(20:46):
the one that I've picked.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Which game a game the least handle on it. Is
it Saints Panthers, Is it Broncos Chargers? Which game is
no one really wanted to touch?

Speaker 8 (20:57):
Yeah, Saints Panthers was a big one. And then Buck's Falcon.
This is this other one that I saw that just
really isn't taking much money. Like I said, we're taking
Jets money. But that's another one too that that's not
taking a ton a lot of Sometimes are those low
totals that just end up steering people.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
Away Tomorrow night. Ye if two Monday night games, well,
like you know the sportsbooks where they appreciate that, do
they like that better because they have two different games
back to back? And of course you know I say
I say back to back, they're actually like the same
time start. But two games on a Monday night, well
that typically, you know, make you guys a little bit

(21:32):
happier because you get a lot more volume than you
would with those type of teams on a regular Sunday
Or is it just kind of the same.

Speaker 8 (21:41):
It helps splits it up a little bit. It's like, say,
if it was just Titans Dolphins, we'd be you know,
super lopsided on the Dolphins, and then we're really swayed
one way or another, just on that one outcome, So
it gives us a little bit of insurance and kind
of breaks it up, gives us another chance that at
least not having a really lopsided one side of position
on these standalone games which you can end up taking,

(22:03):
you know, three to four times to handle it. A
normal one o'pawk Sunday game would take. So putting it
between two helps us a little bit, but it'll stop.
It won't be a big win, same way it won't
be a big loss, so guesn't depends how you look
at it.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
All right, Well, hey, Christian, always appreciate your time. Man,
enjoy Week fourteen. We'll catch you soon.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
Yeah, thanks for having me.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Absolutely there. He is Christian Cipolini from BEDMGM. Okay, we
go from one heavy hitter to the next, from Cipolini
to low win Crome.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
I don't know who's batting after Otani, but that's basically
what we have going on here with Cipolini and I Loo.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Who's got the latest for you right now?

Speaker 10 (22:43):
Good morning fellas in that latest does include a show
hey Otani related breakdown, so that's coming up moments from now.
But first we start in the NFL, where a multiple
outlets report that Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is a
game time decision for today's contest at Cleveland due to
a high ankle. Spring NFL media reports Seattle Seahawks quarterback

(23:06):
Gino Smith also a game time decision at San Francisco
due to a groin injury. Raiders pass rusher Max Crosby
is expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings despite a
knee injury. On Saturday night in Vegas, the Los Angeles
Lakers won the NBA's first ever in season Tourden Championship,

(23:26):
Thank You Lebron, with a one twenty three to one
to oh nine win over the Indiana Pacers. Find Anthony
Davis's forty one points, twenty rebounds, five assists, and four
block shots and Austin Reeves twenty eight points off the bench.
In college football, on Saturday night, LSU quarterback Jaden Daniels
won the Heisman Trophy, becoming get this the fifth transfer

(23:48):
quarterback in the last seven years to win the Heisman.
Washington quarterback Michael Pennix Junior finished second, followed by Oregon
QB bow Nicks. Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Junior and
Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis. Finally, reaction and analysis continues
to pour in about Show Hey Otani's ten years, seven

(24:10):
hundred million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. A
social media account called say Cheese determined that Otani's new
contract works out too two hundred and seven thousand dollars
per day, eight thousand, six hundred thirty dollars per hour,

(24:31):
one hundred and forty three dollars per minute, and two
dollars and thirty nine cents per second. That is the
breakdown of show Heyotani's ten year, seven hundred million dollar contracts. So,
in the last time that I've been speaking with you,
show Hey Otani has made two hundred and ten dollars

(24:52):
back to you guys.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Good stuff. I Loo.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETTMGM.
How about the Rams at the Ravens today, Ravens favored
by seven and a half. This is what stands out
the most to me is the rest factor. This is crazy.
If you look at the Ravens when they take the
field today, this is they've played one game in the

(25:19):
last twenty four days. The way it's worked out because
they've had to buy there a couple of weeks ago.
They played on a Thursday, right, so one game in
the last twenty four days. The last time they played
was on November twenty sixth against the Chargers. And so
the Raven's gonna be rested feeling healthier. I know Mark

(25:40):
Andrews is out, they have a couple of injuries, but
the guys that can go are gonna be rested feeling healthier.
And the Rams just played a physical game last week
against the Browns. Puka Nakua had the shoulder injury when
he hit the turf really hard. So the rest factor
absolutely favors the Ravens. And then you look further with
the defense greatly favors the Ravens in this matchup. I

(26:02):
want to be surprised. I don't know that we're going
to get the boat racing. When the Ravens smacked around
the Lions, they smacked around the Seahawks earlier in the season.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
I don't know it's going to be that bad.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
But I can see this being a double digit comfortable
win for the Ravens today.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
I mean, that's the numbers telling us, right, the numbers
telling us that they think this game will be comfortable
win for the Ravens. And you talked about the home
the way that Ravens are playing at home, right, They
smack Seattle, They smacked the Lions rams across the country.
Outdoor game again, the weather on the East Coast today
is pretty miserable. It's not cold, but it's wet and windy,
and those again we're talking about every every time, you know,

(26:41):
this time of year. Not the cold, guys, that's not
the problem. It's the wind, right, It's the wind. If
it's wind even even rain, I mean rain is in snow.
Snow's fine as long as it's not windy snow. We
saw Tom Brady put up what was it, fifty nine
points in the snow one time against the Texas in
those throwback uniforms. It's about the wind. It's the wind
is the issue. And so it's windy and rainy and

(27:03):
kind of disgusting. And the Ravens, the way they have
their team built the sort of win games like that.
The concern though, I mean, if you bet the Ravens
is they've blown a lot of games this year. Brian,
where they were winning late, and you're like, oh, I
had this sort of count this as a win and
then boom they end up losing. So I don't have

(27:24):
to play in this game, crack. I wonder if you do.
I don't think you take the Ravens here, but maybe
you would. I just don't see. I don't think the
Rams are aside here at all.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Yeah, you know the Rams have is one of those
surprise teams though second to going into the second half
of this season, uh six and six, but yet still
in the playoff hunt. This Baltimore team, like we said,
they're pretty rested coming off of bye and Lamar and
people all for people that don't know this, Lamar had
a some kind of an illness. I don't really know

(27:54):
what it was all week, but he's back to back
to training now, but earlier in the week he was not.
He was not three even three on the ball around.
So he is back to throwing now and a little bit.
And even I read a couple of the other players
were also took off all on Friday, So well, we'll
see what happens here that that. I can never ever

(28:15):
lay that many points. I know they're home and the
only thing I could do there is maybe put Baltimore
in a teaser. You know, there's there's seven and a
half teasing down through the key numbers with a six
point teaser. But they try to stay on top of
the AFC today. You know, we're looking to go to
ten and three. We'll see what happens today. No play,

(28:36):
no play on that game for me though, especially on
the side, which I really don't do too many sides anyway,
nose people love sides. I'm more of a total guy.
It looks like my screen has lit up though, since
we've Kime on air with some under money in that
Baltimore game. Looks like it's down to It's like it's
down to forty one forty and a half in a
couple of spots.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
So I'm not surprised against with the weather, right, I mean,
I think the weather when people actually like wake up
and see the weather at Port for today, they're like, oh,
oh okay, well I got to throw some money on
it's forty one re nown m, benmgm. They you know,
throw some money down on the under here, Brian. It
does feel like once a year there's a Lamar Jackson
sick during the middle of the Week story, right, Like

(29:15):
it feels like every year there's like, oh, oh he's sick,
and this week was the same thing. But he didn't
practice for a day. But he's back. So look, this
game is important for Baltimore because you know, Kansas City,
if they can win today, the Chiefs have like Raiders, Chargers, Patriots,
Bengals to finish I think it's some sort of combination
of that. So the Chiefs are still looking there for

(29:37):
the one seed. And this is a game where, again,
if you're a seven half point favorite, you sort of
have to win this game. Yeah, the Chiefs have Patriots, Raiders, Bengals,
Chargers to finish out. So they win today against Buffalo,
they're looking at probably thirteen and four, and you know
there's obviously t we're tie breakers and whatnot. But you know,
this is a game where the Ravens sort of to
keep ahead of the Chiefs. They to win this game

(30:00):
because they have Jacksonville coming up, They have the Niners,
the Dolphins of Steel. I mean they got a tougher schedule. Yeah,
in Kansas City, does this is a game where we
sort of have to win heading into a stretch of
at Jacksonville, at San Francisco and the Dolphins and look
those games. Every team's playing for something in those games, right,
and I know the RAMS are as well. Crack. Do
you ever just for this is interesting for just you know,

(30:21):
everyone who wages out there. So I have a RAMS
to make the playoffs future?

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Right?

Speaker 4 (30:25):
I got a couple weeks ago. I forget what the
number is at. Do you ever play weeks like this
week or any week based off of Okay, I have
this ticket for a future. I might do something different
than normally would because I can try to make money
both ways or I'm covered if I if I lose
a wager, Like do you ever do that?

Speaker 5 (30:42):
It's a great question because the average mind did that.
People that are betting out there, and which is most
of them, by the way, they may think along those
same lines. I a pro treats it as a separate bet.
We don't hedge, just you know, I shouldn't say we
don't hedge, because if there's something on a big future,
that's a big ROI yes, I do understand the hedging

(31:05):
angle more and more now in life. With if your
average BET's one hundred bucks and you're you know you're
going to win five thousand on a bet. Of course
you'll want to hedge something, but these particular situations here
in week fourteen, I'm not looking to hedge a bet
based on that. As a matter a matter of fact, though,
I actually do like your your bet. Your bet is

(31:27):
the Rams to make the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Yes or no, it's yes, yes, it's a yes. I
forget what number I got a but I got it
a couple weeks ago. I just thought, actually it was
before Stafford got hurt, so I didn't even get a
great number. But you know, you look at the NFC
and I was like, look, you have Matt Stafford and
Sean McVay. That's the best quarterback coach combination of any
of sort of the teams trying to get in the
playoffs still, And I just kind of sort of bet

(31:50):
money on that being that being you know, that being
the case, and of course you know Stafford's injury and
his health is and puking a coup and a Cooper cup,
I mean, all these guys, Brian, it's every year with
the Rams, right, It's this is the thing. They have
a small margin of error because their roster is so young,
because you know, they had years when they went for
it all and they worked, they won a Super Bowl.

(32:11):
But I mean, look right now, at the back of
the NFC, you have you know, the Vikings, so Josh
Dobbs and look, that story is great. They might beat
the Raiders today. But again, I mean, Dobbs is sort
of a Seine right, kind of like a little downward
the Jordan love is. I think Packers are real right now.
So they're seven and the Rams are right there then Seattle,
Tampa Bay, New Orleans. So I sort of like my

(32:33):
chance with Sean McVay and Matt s Effert they can
stay healthy.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Well, Listen, Kyron Williams has been really good as the
Rams running back. When he's not healthy, he's done a
really good job. He's going to be big today obviously
against the Ravens because you want to have, you know,
a two pronged attack, and that's really what makes the
Sean McVay offense hum is when they have that Todd
Gurley like production from the running back. And Kyron Williams

(32:59):
been very good lately, so we'll see if he can
keep it going. You look at the last couple of games,
he had eighty eight rushing yards against the Browns last
week a buck forty three the week prior against the
Arizona Cardinals. It's a different deal against this Ravens defense
because man, they give up the least amount of points
per game, the second fewest passing yards per game, and

(33:22):
the second least total yards per game. They've been a
really really good defense, and the Rams defensively, they just
don't have the talent that the Ravens do. So I'm
really curious to see what Stafford and company do against
this Ravens defense, who's been lights out so far this season.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Yeah. Again, the Rams running attack is so interesting because
they're the best example for the sort of the idea
of never paying running backs, right, Like, it doesn't matter
sort of who the running back is in that offense
if they're healthy, and this an offensive line that is
getting better throughout the season, but still sort of younger
on the younger side obviously know wit Worth nowt for
a couple of years and it doesn't matter, right, there's

(34:03):
still they just have a healthy running back and they're
able to boom going. Part of it is McVeigh is
just a really good coach, right, I mean he is,
He just is, and he's able to scheme things up
in the right way to help them get there. So, yeah,
the AFC is a big game for the Rams wildcard
chances and for the Ravens. Just sort of hold hold,
hold course here. The Chiefs thing is funny, right, Brian,

(34:23):
Like every year it's sort of at this point you
were like, Oh, the Chief's gonna be the one seed,
I don't know, and then they just win the last
seven games this season, right know, the one seed, and
this year is different. I mean we'll find out today
obviously how that game goes. But they're sort of right there. Again,
they're not playing great football, but they're right in, you know,
with their schedule for the one for the one seed.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Yeah, they're right there in the thick of it. Hey,

Check this out parlay letter.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Okay, we each have one selection, pull everything together for
a greater payout.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
We'll start with you, crack What are you thinking today?

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Listen? You know, a day of a game, sometimes there
is a bet that comes up here. I just think
this is crazy. How many points this is going up?
We don't know if you know we're gonna have a
quarterback situation here or not with Jacksonville. But listen, he's
he ain't gonna be one hundred percent of healthy no
matter what. Let's look at the under in this game.

(36:24):
I'm gonna go under the thirty seven points still maybe
rising a little bit here, but let's let's throw the
under in there.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Okay, all right, I'm gonna go with the Bears plus three.
It's plus one hundred right now? What is it? What
is three? What would three and a half be? Crack,
I'm trying to find it.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
Three plus three there actually is on my screen. Yeah, yeah, okay,
I'll say twenty cents. That's that's a good number. Plus
three and a half.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
I'll do Bears plus three. I'll keep it. It's fine. Uh, well,
we'll do to parlay though, right so I could do
minus one twenty. It won't hurt us very much. Go
plus three and a half here.

Speaker 5 (37:04):
No, you actually would get penalized on that. Yeah, the
key number they would.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
We'll keep plus three. Give me Bears plus three. Guys
have weched the Lions defense at all lately. They don't
stop a nosebleed. They're outside in the cold, in the
wind with Jared Goff, like, give me the Bears here.
I'm not sure the Bears win this game, but justin
Fields is. We can debate his franchise quarterback this or not,

(37:34):
but dude, they move the ball when he's in the
game right, whether he's running the ball or passing the ball.
And the Lion's defense cracked and Brian stops nobody. So
I like the Bears here plus three. I'm sure everyone's
all the all the public people are on the Lions
in the spot. Bear stink Lions, you know, will beat
the Saints on the road. Give me the Bears here
plus three.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
I'm gonna go with the Ravens. I know you guys
are not huge on this, but I like him for
the game. I also like him in the first half.
I'm gonna lay four and a half. I can feel
cracked skin starting to crawl a little. I'm gonna lay
four and a half in the first half. The rest
factor is huge in this one. The Ravens have played
one game in twenty four days. The Rams just had

(38:17):
a tough game last week they travel across the country.
It's a tough Ravens defense. I think the Ravens jump
on him early. I'll lay the four and a half
in the first half. The Ravens are ten and two
in the first half this season. They have a huge
rest factor in this one. I go be more minus
four and a half in the first half today.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
All right, I mean crack crack almost had anurism when
you said that, But.

Speaker 5 (38:40):
Well, no, the first half. I think the first half
I have I have a you know, I don't mind
playing first halfs. I can't lay over seven and a
half with that. Oh, I don't lay over literally through
any NFL game. But uh, you know, it's it's it's
the parley platter. It's it's a peanut. You throw a
peanut trying to get back a whole peanut farm. So
see what happens. We'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
I can the support, the rallying support. It feels good
from thank you guys, think appreciated.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Great pleas to.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Be Okay, we have one of the biggest games of
the day right around the corner. This team's defense has
been stinky the last five weeks. Oh, what's going on? Everybody,
happy Week fourteen to you. We've got the Bills against
the Chiefs in the late afternoon window. A little bit
more money on the Chiefs coming in today. They're favored

(39:32):
by a point and a half now, and I think
this is fellas. I think it's the good and the
bad for the Chiefs if you start off with the bad.
Over the last five weeks, the Chiefs defense ranks last
against the run by DVLA. They don't have Isaiah Pacheco
they're running back, so that's going to impact their running
game as well, so keep an eye on that. The

(39:53):
good though, we all know Patrick mahomes credentials off a loss.
He's sixteen and three straight up. And then also when
these points spreads are real close like this, he's normally money.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
In a spot like this.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
So that's the good on the Chiefs, among many other
things to preview. A dumb thing that I found out
this week. I don't know if you guys are aware.
I wasn't, but one of the nicknames for Bill's quarterback,
Josh Allen that's listed on Pro Football Reference the Winter Soldier.
I've never heard that the Winter Soldier Josh Allen over there,

(40:29):
so there's one of your dumb nuggets for the game.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
I did not know that. Okay, it's gonna be interesting, guys,
you know, because I know the Chiefs at this point
last year lost the Bengals and the Dinglands again the
rest of the season, and I if the offense, though,
is still just so out of lack some time. I mean,

(40:54):
there's just no margin of error right now for the offense.
One penalty, one drop pass, one bad throw and the
drive is derailed. But Chaco has been a big part
of this offense the last three or four weeks and
not having him in there is going to hurt the
Chiefs today. But you know, I know, Brian, you teazed this.
But before the break, the Bills defense is bad, though,

(41:15):
They're really bad, and I think that there is a
really good opportunity for the Chiefs to sort of get
right in this game. The Chiefs defense is good, right,
it's getting it's dropping off a little bit, but it's
still I think, I think good enough to do some
good work in this game. And maybe you just have
blind faith in the Chiefs in the situation. But if

(41:38):
any team were to get it right, Brian, it would
be it'd be the Chiefs right now. Buffalo I believe
is off of buy in this game, so they're a
little fresher, a little healthier. I don't know if Bolton's
back today. I think if Nick Bolden is back, the
Chiefs defense is just different. And then again, the Bills
don't run the ball very much, but it's just different.
If Nick Bolden is able to play today. I've not

(41:59):
seen his stat as of this morning, but I still
lean chiefs here. Again, maybe it's no he is all
he is activated off into reserve, so he will play today.
That's goods good for the Chiefs defense. The defense is
better with him in the game. I lean chiefs here.

(42:19):
Did you read the article by ty Dunn Brian about
Sean McDermott.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
It's just why what's it's just another distraction this week?
And your playoff lives arend Yes?

Speaker 4 (42:30):
Well, so okay, So does that change your opinion about
this game at all? Crack, I don't know if you
You probably didn't see this, but the ty dono has
done great things. Go long is a substack. He wrote
like sixty thousand words Sean McDermott the Bills. He was
in some insane I don't know if each article was
twenty thousand words, but we wrote three pieces and van

(42:52):
are working through the Bills the last four years basically,
and it's just, you know, it looks there's a lot
of dysfunction, which I think happens a lot of times.
But you know, their coach On McDermott made a reference
to nine to eleven and the hijackers to motivate his team,
and he had to talk about that today. Why he
used that to motivate his team. I just wonder if

(43:13):
sort of all that distraction this week hurts the preparation
for Kansas City.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Yeah, it goes back to twenty nineteen is when this happened,
and he was talking to the team about how important
it is to communicate and his example was the hijackers
communicating before nine to eleven, And it's just it's another
story and it's a fire you have to put out
while you're preparing for the Chiefs and you're a six

(43:37):
and six football team, right Like, It's just I don't
know why he would make that reference, but it just
shows some of the dysfunction of the Bills. And it's
some of these teams they'll put hurdles in front of themselves,
you know what I mean, Like it's hard enough to
win in the NFL, but Stefan Diggs in the offseason
where he's bent about not getting enough targets against the
Bengals and the playoff loss, or it's something that resurfaces

(44:01):
from twenty nineteen, a dumb idea by McDermott to try
to motivate his team. It's just this is a team
that sets hurdles in front of themselves when it's hard
enough to beat teams. So I just I don't trust
the Bills as far as I can throw.

Speaker 5 (44:14):
Let me let me tell you, guys, from a betting standpoint,
the wise guys, what they have bet in this game
is teasing it up through the key numbers. And then
the line went back down to one. It wasn't even
one and a halfs at all. Now, like you said,
we have one and a halfs everywhere, including BETMGM. And again,
this may be a situation here where looking at a

(44:35):
Buffalo teaser teasing him through the key numbers of three
and seven up to the seven and a half. I
don't like teasing higher point totals, but that's still it's
forty nine. It's not fifty five, so I kind of
leaned to that side. Also, I actually bet a couple
of teasers using Buffalo earlier in the week when it
was the one and a half, thinking I was a

(44:55):
wise guy, and then it moved on to one. I
was like a good thing. I grabbed it one I did.
But this particular game now back to one and a half,
Buffalo has beaten them each of the last two seasons.
A game here in uh in Kansas City. So that's
it's uh, it's it's an interesting game here that it's
going to be the game of the day up until

(45:17):
until the night. UH. Dallas Philly is of course what
people are looking forward to on the primetime game. But
Buffalo Kansas City, I see that being the game of
the day. I understand, like Jeff, would you say Carolina
New Orleans? So that's probably the least the least interesting
game of the day. So listen as long as uh,

(45:38):
you know Josh Allen doesn't make any mistakes, which he
didn't in those two victories in Arrowhead, you know, it's
it's a it's a it's a good game. Jeff. Let
me ask you now, because I keep on forgetting, where
are you today, you're not home with the family.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
No, we were. Actually we were all in New York together.
I work up in New York on on Thursday mornings
and typically fly back home Thursday morning, and this this
week they came up, so we stayed in the city
last couple of days.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
The tree.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
Yes, we saw Lion King yesterday, which is a good play.
Was fun, a little long. Kids got you know, a
little restless of times, but still very good performance and
they did a great job. We went, you know, we
had some nice dinners. We walked around, went to the
store get some Uh no, I didn't do like the
dollar pizza. Who would No, I mean I would. I

(46:29):
was hungry there. Today my wife and and the kids
went to Burgdorfs and I just went and got like
a chicken skewer from one of the on the stands.
The car just crushed it crushed it like walking down
the street like a big like a big.

Speaker 5 (46:40):
They have up their game, by the way, we can
go anywhere with this show, the little standing carts and
the end food carts food trucks. They have up their
game from the dirty water dog situation to literally gourmet
chef food carts and stands. Oh yeah, you may still
have the ones over by you know Times Square there

(47:01):
where you could get the pretzels on the on the coal.
That's like some of my favorite things to do in
the in the winter time. But uh, you know what's funny,
I got old, you know, being from New York and
New Jersey. But when I got old, though old, I say,
old one. I'm in my fifties. Here your early fifties.
I can't take the cold weather anymore. And I grew

(47:22):
up in that now in Vegas here this morning we
were forty four degrees. I told my wife, I said,
I can't believe how much it's freezing. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:31):
Yeah, I should have called a crack and got into
like one of those mobs, of those mob restaurants. I
got a table.

Speaker 5 (47:36):
Oh there's a couple. There really is a couple of
really good Italian restaurants. If it was just you and
your wife, I would tell you.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
To god they have like, yeah, you don't.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
Want the kids to you know, that could be crossfire.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
We have a violinist or anything at some of these
fancy restaurants.

Speaker 5 (47:52):
Oh, sure, of course, this time of the year they'll
have they'll have literally a little choir of three or
four people walking around saying some Chris Carrols and it's
really there's some really good places in the city. Oh
my god, for Christmas time. And uh, you know, when
we were just talking about this last night, I went
to a place called Lowry's here. It's a big prime

(48:12):
red places. There's a couple of them around the country,
Los Angeles, Los Angeles, and uh, they had that really
good Christmas kind of a feel, and I I was
there was a little choir going around. I remember being
a kid back then. We used to go around as
kids and knock on doors and and sing Christmas carols
to people and hope to get tipped. And we used

(48:33):
to go around, you know, shoveling snow and stuff. And
I know you guys grew up a little bit coddled
and didn't have to do that, but we did as
a kid.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
Los Angeles.

Speaker 5 (48:42):
Oh yeah, yeah, No, you weren't shoveling snow.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
I was born not that far away from Lake Effect Lake,
Michigan snow. There's plenty of snow that's been shoveled over
the years.

Speaker 4 (48:55):
No, not me.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
No.

Speaker 4 (48:56):
Laries is uh is the place where they do the
rose bull.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
I ask you that which team can eat more beef?

Speaker 4 (49:04):
Yeah, so what they do crack is for the Rose Bowl,
and I think they still do it and then they stopped,
you know, I think the COVID year. But they still
do it now where they they take the teams to
Lari's in It's Beverly Hills and they eat. They do
Laari's Beef Bowl. They think it's much prime rib and
they add up who eats the most prime rib Lari's
Rose Bowl? Wow, and so they yeah, I think like

(49:26):
one year, like yeah, so like right here, here's the
sixties from last season, the sixty sixth sixty six Lari's
Beef Bowl feeds Utah and Penn State ahead of their
game and they eat like thousands of pounds of prime
rib in a night. Got so yeah, it's it's uh,

(49:47):
I think I find how much they eat in one sitting,
but it's you know, it's obviously like thousands of pounds
of primary How.

Speaker 5 (49:54):
Long are you in the city for? Are you still
there one more night?

Speaker 4 (49:57):
No? I leave, No, I'm here. I go out to
the airport.

Speaker 5 (50:00):
Do you know there's a there's a great family restaurant
in the like Times Square area if you can get
in there, car Mines. There's a great, you know, beautiful
Christmas atmosphere for the family. It's family style, pretty good food.
One if by Land too, if I see, that's one
of my favorites too. Down you know down, that's actually
down towards uh the other way downtown a little bit.
But uh, I tell you you know you're saying this

(50:22):
now and even though it's early morning, eight o'clock in
the morning, here, boy, I'm starving, just to let you know.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
So, So, Jeff, are you watching Panthers Saints on the flight?

Speaker 7 (50:33):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (50:33):
There you go, So my flights. I didn't time this
out very well because I'm flying during the Chiefs game.
But oh, I will pay for the Delta Wi Fi
and hope that it streams YouTube team like it's enough
to watch you Tube TVM iPad American Airlines. The Wi
Fi is good enough for that. I fight American for
the most party and so we'll see if YouTube TV

(50:53):
loads up. Now I'm gonna watch Red Zone channel. Basically
I'm my iPad until nice hick off you can. But
I wanted I need to get home so and there's
weird weather today, so my fight might get delayed and
I'll be able to watch more football. I don't. I
don't really care. But no, my family's flying back right now.
They're on the plane and.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
Uh oh they're back. They're going back.

Speaker 4 (51:09):
They're going back. Yeah, I mean we have you know,
we got like, you know, school and work tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
So, by the way, crack, I wanted to bring it
back to Bills Chiefs for a second. I know what
you're talking about is maybe teasing the Bills through two
key numbers. What do you think about this game specifically
and other games in general, or if you look at
the Chiefs, you don't get to tease it through two
key numbers, but you can tease it through three. What
do you think about Chiefs four and a half or

(51:35):
another team in a similar spot like that?

Speaker 5 (51:37):
I don't. I don't tease through the zero because you're
paying for zero, which is not a real number. Have
we even had it though we haven't had a tie
this year in the NFL, right, I don't think we
had one. No, you're paying for a dead number zero
teasing it back. But I do understand you're teasing it
through the key number of the three going to the
three and a half. Someone I do respect however, or

(52:00):
does tease situations When a team is a three and
a half point and you could go to the home
team being plus three and a half, you know there's
situations there that you could you could tease through the
through the zero if you're going through both threes. I personally,

(52:21):
I was schooled under one of the sharpest sports betting
syndicates in the world. Old school guys. These guys just
did not tease through anything except for the three and seven.
But I have to get my mind off that now,
because you know why totals are lower and lower and lower,
which that means is game should be played out towards
that number more and more so. Situationally, you may have

(52:46):
a point there this particular game's up to you know,
like forty nine points that in that situation, definitely not.
But I do understand why people do want to tease
through the zero. I just can't, you know, I am
stuck in my same exact position in life. It's it's
it's what's got me to where I can be a
professional sports better and making a living at sports betting.

(53:06):
I really can't change, especially that the books have up
their teaser prices. When I first started betting teasers in
the nineties. Literally, I was paying even money six point teaser,
even money. There's places that are charging a dollar seventy
five now for six point teasers. I just say, if
you're charging a dollar seventy five, just use a mask
and a gun and take the money away.

Speaker 4 (53:26):
One for a two team six point teaser. The charge.

Speaker 5 (53:30):
Listen, there's one a dollar sixty eight and one a
dollar seventy five. We're not going to talk about our competitors.
We're not going to talk about you know, We're not
It's not a good look to down anybody, even though
I'd like to win ESPN. I'm sorry. Yeah, they they
they're just unbelievable charging the amount of money they're charging
on teasers. I don't know who's making the prices, but

(53:52):
please run from that sports book.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
By the way, crack, what year did you say that was? Roughly?

Speaker 5 (53:57):
I started betting perfectly, I started pay taxes on sports
betting winnerund ninety four.

Speaker 3 (54:02):
So thinks okay, So would you prefer to for the
gas prices to mirror what they were in ninety four,
or if you could go back to even money for
teasers from ninety four, which.

Speaker 5 (54:14):
Were not even close, not even close for me, But
for most people it's the gas prices, but the even
money teasers because I'm betting the amounts I'm betting and
betting so many of them this year, so these games
are playing closer. Now, My bet size would actually go up.
If I had six point even money teasers, would all
these totals being lined four points lower than they were

(54:34):
even five years ago.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
There you go, man, that's why we love you. Yeah,
gotta choose the teaser option instead of the gas options.

Jeff Schwartz out and about in the city today eight
year NFL veteran Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot Com. I'm

(55:16):
Brian Nell coming up next. There's a defense that has
been rough, but can the opposing offense take advantage of it?

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Today? That's on the way.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
I'll wear about an hour.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
And thirty five minutes away from kickoff. It is Fox
Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. Every
time you make a wager at BETMGM, you earn BETMGM
Rewards points that can be redeemed for things like free
bets and risk free tokens. They can also be converted

customers will have the chance to win a Big Game
Las Vegas Experience prizes and to three Nights Day during
Super Bowl Weekend at a select MGM property, along with
other prizes like entry to the BEDMGM party in food
and beverage credits. All Right, fellas so Broncos at the

(56:13):
Chargers today and the Chargers they're now three point favorites
at BETMGM. It's ticked up just very recently. And the
question to me is the Chargers defense is just brutal.
They're the second worst team in the NFL against the pass.
They give up their twenty ninth in total yards allowed

(56:34):
per game. They give up three hundred and seventy nine
yards on average per game. The question is will the
Broncos be able to take advantage of it because they're
good early scripted or on short fields if they get
a takeaway. But man, especially in the second half of games,
twenty fifth in EPA per play, so they really slow

(56:54):
down as the game goes along offensively. So I want
to see the Broncos offense against the Chargers brutal defense
and see who gets the better of who today.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
I mean, if no one watches this game, doesn't actually
happen and we just ignore, we just ignore the game,
does it actually happen? Yeah, Like this is a game
where I mean, the Broncos have played better recently, right,
we know that, but obviously they're still sort of not
I would say a whole team, right, I mean, they're

(57:27):
there to your point, like they have start fast, slow
down lost. The Texans said that two weeks ago, now
they off of buy was that two weeks ago? Now
the Texans lost? I think it was her last week,
last week, last week. Okay, let's see the week is.
It's been a long week. And but the Chargers, like
are so desperate for you know, for to make the playoffs.

(57:48):
I mean, Staley is coaching for his job. Which is
that a good or bad thing? Guys like are we
are we expecting a performance from Staley? I just don't
know how you wager on the Chargers as a favorite. Ever,
their last four games, ready lost the Lions by three,
lost the Packers by three, Ravens by ten, and then

(58:09):
won a game six to nothing, six to nothing, and
they covered that game, by the way, I just can
never get behind putting my money on the Chargers's favorites.

Speaker 5 (58:19):
Crack, I agree one hundred percent. That's my nemesis team.
I know. It's beyond the math, the algorithms, the models,
there's those teams. The Chargers are my team. I've talked
about it in this space earlier in the season many times.
The Chargers of my team just stay away from that team.
And then Baseball's the Yankees just stay away from that team.
But yet I this is one of those games where

(58:41):
I actually leaned Denver early in the weekend, so did
the wise guys, taking it down to plus three, which
it went down to literally two and a half at
a couple shops, and you know, plus three minus and
big juice this morning, though the Chargers money came in.
They laid the two and a half a different group.
So it's group against group. It's a solid solid three

(59:02):
here across my screen, including bet MGM. Of course, the
Broncos had their five game winning strap winning streak snapped
last week versus Houston, and you know, Wilson had some
chances there to win that game, so red Zone, they
didn't perform well, they didn't get their turnovers they normally

(59:23):
been getting, I think literally through an interception in the
final minutes of the game, just because I had a
little bit on the Denver two. So again, very hard
to beat games today. Day of the game, hour and
a half before the kickoff. That's why the crack challenge
is so so important. And you guys are both doing
good there. So going back to this Denver Chargers game,

(59:46):
both both teams really need the game. Both in the
playoff hunt. The Chargers are coming off for six to
zero shutout against the Patriots last week, which was, boy,
imagine going to a game like that, how boring. It
was a big six nothing. So we'll see what happens today.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Guys, absolutely all right, let me throw another game at
you real fast. JAG's at Cleveland. You look at Trevor Lawrence.
He's going to try to give it a go. He's
a game time decision with that high ankle sprain and
had an offensive lineman step on his foot last week
and then landed awkwardly against the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
But he's warming up right now.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
They're showing him on NFL Network moving around a little bit,
warming up, So we'll see if he's able to go
and how effective he is. Cleveland favored by a point
and a half right now. The over the total is
ticked up a little bit with the news that Lawrence
is expected to go.

Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
It's a ton of ticked up this morning. And like
I told Christian listen, I hate to say this, Christian.
The wise guys know before the bookmakers on a lot
of situations of who's playing, just go by the line
and the line this morning, don't forget this this line.
Christian said it was thirty and a half at his shop.
I've seen thirties around town. This line moved up seven

(01:00:58):
and a half points, more than a touchdown. So there's
only one way for me to go now. I told
you guys earlier when we did the parlay plotter, uh,
thirty seven and a half. Now the hook on the
key number. Obviously we knew he was playing because of
this number. And I just don't know this complete it
or not. This this is going to be a very
interesting game now to see if they can come back

(01:01:18):
off of last week's loss, which cost me a lot
of money. That game cost me a lot of money
last week, that Jacksonville game a ridiculous amount of money.
Them just not winning the game. And I'm interested to
know about the Cincinnati game too, where they played. Since
he last week came back to quarterback, they're fantastic. I
think he won his first game as an NFL quarterback.
I think I read that someone. Yeah, but he hasn't

(01:01:40):
played a lot though, right, yeah, yeah, So we got
two games in early that it's going to be interesting
to see how they how they come out go ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
I still like the Browns here, guys, wow, this and cover.
So you're telling me you have a sort of and
I've seen the videos of Trevor Lawrence warming up. He
looks fine. It's it's incredible what modern medicine can do
for you. Is also this when you get stepped on
like that, it's a little different than like having bodies
fall in your ankle, if that makes sense. It's probably

(01:02:11):
not as bad as it could have been, right, but
we understand Jacksonville allowed Jake Browning to be thirty two
of thirty seven for like three hundred and fifty yards
like the Jaguars to me, and I don't know what
their DVOA is for variants this season. To me, they

(01:02:33):
are a high variance team right where you get one
week it's really good and next week it's really bad.
And for years, by the way, that the Bills have
been the highest variance team, which is no surprise because
you know it's Josh Allen experience, and they are They're
thirty second of variants are the Bills Jacksonville's twenty six.
That makes a lot of sense, right, Guys, Like every week,

(01:02:54):
I just don't know what I'm getting from them, But
you have a hobble Trevor Lawrence against a really good
Browns defense. He can't move in the pocket that offensive
line for Jacksonville to worried some of this game. But
I still think this is a Browns win because of
that reason. They're gonna harass Trevor Lawrence. They're gonna make
it very hard for Trevor Lawrence to do much in

(01:03:15):
this offense. When you become one dimensional gets a good
defense like the brown it's hard to move the football.
On the other side, Guys, Joe Flacco look competent, right,
He looked competent enough.

Speaker 5 (01:03:26):
I mean the last five minutes that game unbelieving.

Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
Yeah, yeah, and you know, the last five minutes that
game sort of went haywire on them. But I don't know.
I still like the Browns in the spot and now
you know the crack challenge, I'll get a point a
half a little bit like instead of three or three
and a half, which is what I had to late
earlier this week for that. So I'm rolling with the
brown still in this game, where an offense a little
bit better with with Joe Flacco and again sort of

(01:03:52):
a fate of Jacksonville. I don't like the way Jacksonville's
played this season, Well.

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
It isn't to disagree with you, it's just Jacksonville. They're
five and on the road this season. I'm totally with
you as far as the high variance goes, because sometimes
they show up and look great. Other times, like last week,
they show up and Jake Browning is carving them up.
So it's like it's a mixed bag with Jacksonville. And
maybe you're on the right side with Cleveland today. So

(01:04:18):
I just think that Miles Garrett not being right. He
only had two pressures last week against the Rams with
that shoulder injury.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
I think that matters a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Also, what hurts the jackson is in your favor, Jeff
is Christian Kirk out for the season with that groin injury,
So that's a big loss for Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
I am gonna play Trevor Lawrence underpassing yards today. I
feel like I feel like that's a good, a good
kind of wager to make. As far as if you
don't have a sigh on this game, but I just
I think that you look at again his leg maybe
even you take you look at it like a rushing
prop for Trevor Lawrence at under Himan. He's I can't

(01:04:57):
imagine it's seven and a half right now. I can't
image it's gonna run the ball very much. Actually he
might have to at some point with the pass rush.
But it feels like that's a good kind of wager
to make.

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
Yeah, No, I hear you on that one. Well, you
speak of high variance. There's no high variance with Isaac
Loewan Kron. His only setting is set on spectacular. That's it,
no other way to go. I love with the latest.
What's going on, Bud.

Speaker 10 (01:05:27):
Spectacular and real and spectacular news if you're a Jacksonville
Jaguars fan, And has just been officially confirmed that Trevor
Lawrence will indeed start today at Cleveland despite a high
ride ankle spring that he suffered this past Monday night
against the Bengals. Jaguars running back Trevor Eten is active

(01:05:48):
as well. Cleveland Brown's receiver Amari Cooper is active. However,
cornerback Denzel Ward inactive because of a shoulder injury. Meanwhile,
multiple outlets report Brown safety Grant Delpit has agreed to
a three year, thirty six million dollar extension. Derek Carr
and Chris o'lave both active for the Saints against the
Carolina Panthers. Jets running back Brace Hall is active for

(01:06:10):
their game against the Houston Texans on Saturday night in Vegas.
The Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA's first ever in
season tournament championship with a one twenty three to one
oh nine victory over the Indiana Pacers. Anthony Davis forty
one points, twenty rebounds, five assists, and four blocks. Austin
Reeves scored twenty eight off the bench. And in college

(01:06:31):
football on Saturday night, LSU quarterback Jaden Daniels won the
Heisman Trophy. He received five hundred and three first place votes.
Washington quarterback Michael Pennix Junior, who finished second in the voting,
received two hundred and ninety two first place votes. Oregon
quarterback Bo Nicks finished third, followed by Ohio State receiver
Marvin Harrison Junior and Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis Fellas

(01:06:55):
back to you, Thank.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
You, I Low it's Fox Sports Radios countdown to kickoff
for the bet MGM. Bet MGM is now available under
one wallet in select states. For example, if you're in
the DMV area, No need to worry about making separate
accounts for DC, Maryland and Virginia when crossing state borders.
Simply just log into your existing account instead of creating
a new one.

Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
Same game parlanks.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
All right, crack you bet in the lab. What do
you have for us today?

Speaker 5 (01:07:26):
I got one of these built up here, one of
these minor little peanut parlays, same game parlays here. You know,
if I'm gonna do these, I'm doing these correlated. So
we're gonna look towards the Jets game. And because the
same game parlay at the BETEMGMT, you can get the
three and a half, So I like that plus three
and a half. We're going to go under the total

(01:07:48):
which is thirty three and a half. And then I'm
gonna put that with under on the receiving yards of
Nico columns receiving yards under and that's going to be
sixty three point five. So the three of them returning
four to one kind of like that there, we can

(01:08:09):
put them together, hopefully get some correlation in and yeah,
there we go. You know, if I build these, I
like building building them where they're semi correlated. Listen, three
and a half is not a big correlation. Really, Like,
if I had a prop I liked in the Seattle
San fran game, I would maybe go, like Seattle, take
the fourteen and under it with the prop. But that's
the idea you want to do. If you want to

(01:08:30):
build these around some correlations, then the lower the total,
the better for the unders. The higher the total, the
better for the overs.

Speaker 2 (01:08:37):
How many points do you see the Texan scoring today?

Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Right now at bet MGM their team total is twenty
one and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:08:45):
Yeah, what do you think about today? So if I
had a lean, that extra hook there really makes me
say under. They're really not giving the checks any respect
in this in this game, I guess why would would you? Yeah?
Why would you have.

Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
The organization think about this? Guys? Is that three weeks
ago they ben Jack Wilson okay, and they bench him
and don't even make him the backup. They put him
third string. They basically tell him like, dude, we're done
with you this year, which is their decision to make
he has not played good football. We're done, We're moving on.

(01:09:20):
Not three weeks later, they have cut the guy they
brought in to replace him and him back up to
the starting quarterback. It is a dumpster fire right now.
It's an unseerious organization. And I understand the initial report
about Zach Wilson. It's not fearful about playing, but has
some doubts about playing. And I get it right because
at this point in his career, he can he can't

(01:09:41):
afford to play any worse, even though it's bad. But
like he you know, getting hurt and continuing to play
poorly will hurt him for next season, right because he
won't be in the Jets. And I get his thought
about it. I'm not going to play. I don't want
to play. But obviously, if you get chance to playing
National Football League, you're playing out, you're playing, and you're
not taking that opportunity not to play right and turning
it down. But I get his apprehension right that offensive

(01:10:03):
line and you clearly don't like me as a quarterback.
Like playing for someone who does not like you, it's
very difficult to do, and they clearly do not like
Zach Wilson.

Speaker 5 (01:10:14):
Devido is not playing till tomorrow night. Maybe they could
throw him in there. Do you know what I did?

Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
You mention that I kind of like the giants plus
six and a half, and I feel bad about it.

Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
I understand that. By the way, well, I think we
may get to that later, but I definitely understand that side.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
So, man, I think that would Zach Wilson. Listen, I
get it. If he's like, oh, so you demoted me
to third string, and then you were trying to find
a better option, found out you didn't, and now you
want me back, so you dumped me and now you
come crawling back. I could see where he'd be apprehensive
about that, But in terms of injury concern, that's career

(01:10:55):
suicide if those reports are true, where he's like, yeah,
I could be cute, be one, but I don't know.
I'm a little bit apprehensive about getting nicked up. That's
gonna hurt his career way more than going out there
and not playing great football.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
That's what I think.

Speaker 3 (01:11:11):
So those reports are incredibly damning if they're true. Whatsoever
would Zach Wilson. I just you should be foaming at
the mouth wanting to get back out there instead of oh,
I don't know, I could get blitzed and take a hit,
and it's like, I don't want you in my locker room,
let alone being QB one.

Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
If that's true at all, that's a joke.

Speaker 4 (01:11:34):
The honesty is probably too much. I just would have
admitted that if I was him, even when they ask
you or I don't know where this information, most likely
from the agent, I just wouldn't have admitted that. That's
something like I just lead out of mentioning that you
know and I look, I totally get it. I in
your career, there are times when you don't feel that
the team has your back and you go out. But Brian,

(01:11:56):
we're paid to play football games, right, Like, this is
our job to do whether you like it or not.
Or you're on a fun team, you're on a bad team,
you're on a losing team. I've been on a TOO
and fourteen team. Man, I put every snap that season.
Maybe that's the reason why we were to in fourteen.
But like you just you have to play. That's what
you're paid to do. Good. Bad coach likes you, coach
doesn't like you. You're having fun. You're not having fun.

(01:12:19):
Your job is to go play on Sunday, Monday, Thursday
whenever it is, or Saturday games coming up soon. I
was a black Food was game Friday this year? Your
job as a professional athlete is you're being paid to
play your sport, and I get it's not fun sometimes
and you don't like it. Yeah, those are all valid.
Zach Wilson has very valid feelings, guys. But in the end,

(01:12:39):
it's your job to play, So suck it up.

Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
And play absolutely because it could work the other way.
Imagine if Garrett Wilson said, oh, Aaron Rodgers got hurt.
So what if Zach Wilson he leads me in harm's
way and my ribs are exposed as I'm trying to
catch an inaccurate pass that I don't know. I feel
a little bit apprehensive about that. Football doesn't work like that.
Your number is called, you freaking go in there. I

(01:13:02):
don't want to hear anything about apprehension and injury concerns.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
That's garbage.

Speaker 5 (01:13:07):
Two major line move guys, and today, since we've came
on that are both both went to fourteen. San Franz
now minus fourteen against Seattle, Miami fourteen against Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
I know you love betting those heavy favorites.

Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Oh hope that goes back to thirteen and a half
for the crack challenge on the Miami game.

Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
All right, oh okay, maybe finns up for you, Jeff.
We'll see where the line is. All right, We've got
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian No coming up next.
Prop it up, prop Betscalore. We'll have a bunch of
picks for you. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
Kickoff presented by bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios

(01:13:48):
Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. BETMGM is now
available under one wallet and select states. For example, if
you're in the DMV area, no need to worry about
making separate outs when crossing state borders. Just simply log
into your existing account instead of creating a new one.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Drop it up player plays.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
Ah, Yes, the prop bet waters are so inviting.

Speaker 2 (01:14:15):
Crack will start with you. What are you thinking?

Speaker 5 (01:14:17):
Man? I just went to BETMGM to see what they
had on Aidan O'Connell under two fourteen and a half.
That's the prop I like. I think Raiders they're gonna
be uh literally doing a lot more running today, I
believe with the new coach Vikings defense a little bit
underrated too. So there's one. Can I give you guys

(01:14:39):
a second one? I mentioned it earlier in the correlated
in the in the parlay Collins under sixty two and
a half receiving yards, bad weather, tough matchup for the
two of them, guys. You got under under Collins on
Texans and under Raiders. I know Jeff likes to join
sometimes on these quarterback under passing yards.

Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
Yeah, I'm gonna actually give you a different one into
the quarterback ruckers today the numbers thirty and a half now,
it was twenty six and a half ear this week.
But Patrick Mahomes over rushing yards against Buffalo. So a
couple ins for this one is that you know in
games where sort of the Chiefs any way it must win.

(01:15:22):
I'm not sure today's like a must must win, but
Mahomes rushes the ball a lot in those games. He
tends to do that. The last four games against Buffalo
he's had thirty six yards rushing sixty one, twenty one,
and sixty nine. And also, if you look at this season,
Buffalo has allowed a lot of rushing yards to quarterbacks
that are mobile. Obviously, sixty five to Hers he runs
the ball, but thirty to Wilson and thirty one to Lawrence.

(01:15:44):
I think we see Patrick Mahomes heavy rushing game today.
Brian as my as my favorite prop.

Speaker 5 (01:15:50):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
Listen, there are a few that I really like. I'm
gonna go back to the well Justin Fields. We're talking
about quarterbacks running.

Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
He carves up the Lions.

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
The Lions just do not do a great job against
mobile quarterbacks. They really struggled, in particular against Justin Fields.

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
So I'm gonna take him over sixty three and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
At first glance, you're like, holy cow, sixty three and
a half. I'm not worried about it because Justin Fields
just has a knack for creating plays with his legs
against the Lions. So I think it's a strong play
and I think he does heavy damage, especially in the
first half, where sixty three and a half sounds like

(01:16:32):
you're climbing for us to get to the over. Well,
they're gonna be probably a couple of decent chunks in
the first half, and I think you're gonna be sitting
pretty So kim be.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Justin Fields over sixty three and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
Is without thinking today.

Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Anything else you guys like today, we gotta go. I
have to dig up the Matthew Stafford prop bet just
for I took.

Speaker 4 (01:16:51):
I took Trevor Lawrence under two hundred and one passing
yards today. Let me make sure I have that number
right right now, two hundred and eleven point five passing
yards under that just again expecting a little bit of
a rough go, just with him being able to move
and be mobile. And I think there is a case
to be made to fade Jake Browning today, the Dales quarterback.

(01:17:17):
It's two hundred and thirty two and a half right now.
I mean, like you expect them to do that again,
right I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
Well, and look at Ceedee Lamb.

Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
I don't see the Eagles having an answer for the
guy who scored a touchdown in four straight games. He's
also scored in five of the last six games. I
have a hard time seeing Ceedee Lamb not getting in the.

Speaker 5 (01:17:41):
End, guys, a real quick one Houston Jet's longest field ball.
I'm betting under forty seven and a half as we
speak live.

Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
Sorry, like the last second entry from the crap, We'll
have more big stuff for you next.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
Oh, what's going on, everybody.

Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
I hope you're enjoying your Sunday morning slash afternoon depending
on where you're listening, less than an hour away from kickoff.
Here in week fourteen, Sunday Night football, this is the
matchup of the week Eagles Cowboys right now at bet MGM,
where you're looking at the Cowboys favored by three and

(01:18:18):
a half. First question, first item of business, crack, what
do you think the line is gonna be right before kickoff?

Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
Do you see it once? Waiting at all?

Speaker 5 (01:18:26):
This is one of the first games I bet when
I see the line come up last Sunday night, Monday morning,
early Monday morning, I seen a four. I grabbed it.
I thought it was going to go down to three
to be ho, and it list in some spots minus
three minus twenty. But I think tonight, by game time,
even like after talking the Christian, I think this game

(01:18:47):
may be like something like that. I think there's some
Philadelphia money is going to come in, and I think
it's going to close like minus three minus a quarter
or something like that, three minus twenty three and a
half right now, three and a half dog taking some money,
though in fact you really can't find any three and
a half flats. Like you said, even at bet MGM
plus three and a half fine is fifteen. I think
this game closes more towards the three. I think this

(01:19:08):
is a real important game for of course, for both squads.
Phll he won the first one twenty eight twenty three,
I believe it was, but Dallas could have easily won
that game. So this is a division rival of course,
old school rival game. I just think anything over a
field goal is worth taking in this old school rival game.

(01:19:30):
So we'll see what happens.

Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
We're interesting about this game, guys, And I wonder if
if this ever plays a role in how you look
at games, Crack. So, the Eagles played the Niners last week,
and the Niners had ten days rest before that game.
The Eagles are playing the Cowboys this week. The Cowboys
have ten days rest before they played the Eagles. Right,
the Cowboys played Thursday night against Seattle. I remember the

(01:19:54):
Niners played the Thanksgiving game against Seattle. And so you
have an Eagles team that their schedule has just been hard, guys, Right,
Kansas City, Buffalo, San Francisco, Dallas. And you typically when

(01:20:14):
you look at a schedule before the season, you know,
you look at a stretch like that, You're like, well,
you know what, someone might have an injury. You're like, well,
like someone will be sort of whole. All those teams
are whole, Like they're all full strength, they're all ready
to try to beat you. And back to back to
back physical, emotional games. You know, last week, I actually

(01:20:36):
don't even change my opinion on who wins the NFC
if they play again. I think last week's game for
Philly the Niners just you have one team, as I mentioned,
sort of you saw early on the first quarter of
Philly sort of had that gas still and eventually the
take went to eat pretty fast. Nighters have wanted that
game for months and months and months, you know, like
it just almost you throw that game out of my
opinion when you talk about this game, except the fact

(01:20:58):
that Eagles have now played these games back to back
to back and the Cowboys are very good at home.
The only problem is for me to back the Cowboys
here is that they have beat zero teams went with
the winning record, Brian, They have beaten no one good.
Eagles are still really good, even tho they lost last week.
So I have a really tough time in this game.

(01:21:19):
I'm sitting this one out. I think this is one
of situations where just stay away from something a football
just enjoyed as a fan. Don't need to have money
on it at all to enjoy the game. Maybe a
live wager at some point is a way to go.
Or Eagles score early, get the Cowboys at a better price,
vice versa. Maybe you tease the Eagles up through seven
and and you know, crack And I don't know if
that's the best way to play this game through. All right, Well,

(01:21:43):
yeah you get the seven point half, Yeah you seven point,
get a second point?

Speaker 5 (01:21:48):
You have, Schwartz not a bet on a primetime game. Congratulations.
You're the only one that I know of in the
entire country, in the world, especially listening on Fox Sports Radio,
that's not gonna have a bet on this primetime game.
I would be willing to bet you'll have something.

Speaker 4 (01:22:04):
No, here's the thing, right, So I will have to
stay a wait for this game because I'll have to
write about it. I write an article every Sunday night
for Fox Sports that comes out, you know, Monday am,
and so it'll be an art game I have to watch.
But for the most part, like this time of year.
Remember I'm heavy in college football too, so like I'm
doing both. I'm watching like in the college football world,

(01:22:26):
I'm doing the Joe More Award for the offensive line
best offensive in the country, and I'm watching a lot
of college football tape too at the same time doing
the NFL. And like this time of year, I'm tired,
Like I'm just tired, and so I try to go
to bed if I you know, at a decent time,
even when there's a game on. And so I found

(01:22:46):
if I don't have money on the game, I go
to bed much easier. So if I just stay away
from when you're in a game, I will just fall.
I go, okay, well, who played Monday Night? Oh yeah,
Thursday night Patriots and Steels no money? And actually I
did the teaser that you suggested, crack, and it was
over by halftime because the overhit by halftime. Yeah, so

(01:23:09):
it's like, well, cool, I already lost my bet. I'm
going to sleep. But if it was still a wager
that I had, which by the way that Thursday football
the overhit by halftime, which was insane, you know, I
would have stayed awake. And so this is the way.
If I have no money in the game tonight, I
can go to sleep before it's over if I choose
to do so, correc That's why I look at this.
It's like I want to be able to sleep. Of course,

(01:23:30):
some time I'm staying away for the game, but that's
the way I've been the last couple of weeks. No
money on primetime games, easier to sleep.

Speaker 2 (01:23:36):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (01:23:36):
Well, I'm shocked about this, Brian, Go ahead, take it away. Brian.
Let's see. I know you have to have something about
on this game.

Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
I'll have something crack.

Speaker 3 (01:23:43):
I won't let you down like Jeff is letting you
down right now due to his sleep schedule.

Speaker 8 (01:23:47):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:23:48):
But the first point is what strikes me about Philly.
This reminds me of a college football thing where Jeff,
you followed the PAC twelve closer than any other conference,
or like an SEC thing where there are some teams
where they play four games in a row in conference play,
where it's just like, dude, that's a lot, and at
the end of it, you are just gassed. And that's

(01:24:09):
definitely what you saw from Philly last week against San Francisco.
And the question is are you gonna see it again
tonight against Dallas? Because they got out gained for the
fifth straight game. They got out gained by San Francisco
by one hundred and twenty three yards, got out gained
by Buffalo by one hundred and twenty seven yards. They've

(01:24:30):
been out gained for five games in a row. The
last time Philly out gained an opponent, you gotta go
all the way back.

Speaker 2 (01:24:37):
To Week seven against the Dolphins. That's a long time ago.

Speaker 3 (01:24:42):
So when you're getting steadily out gained like that, the
chances of you winning that game are not as great.
So they were out gained by Dallas a couple of
weeks ago. They were out gained by one hundred and
fourteen yards. Now, the most important thing for Philly they
only lost one of those five games that they were
out gained, and now, of course was last week against

(01:25:03):
San Francisco. But they just seem like a tired team
and the numbers reflect that because there's still an incredibly
talented team, but playing that gauntlet catches up with you.

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
Interesting. You have to weigh that out against what Jeff said,
This Dallas team hasn't beat anybody with a winning record.
That they did beat the six and five Seattle, but
Seattle actually should have won the game in my opinion,
So you have to weigh those two things out. You're right,
this could be a tired team. I just think the
hook is really I got four so this is going

(01:25:37):
to be a really great game to watch. But I
just know that the human condition we have to have
a bet on if something's on TV, we have to
have a bet. I understand. And you know there is
some other prop markets here or some things to look
at rather than just a side to Also, guys.

Speaker 3 (01:25:55):
Well, I think too, guys. Let me throw this out
at you. Ceedee Lamb has just caught up the Eagles.
I think Philly should try to do its best Belichick impression, right,
like Belichick just doesn't let you do what you do best? Yes,
against his defense, wouldn't you, Jeff, wouldn't you bracket Ceedee
Lamb double him? If Jake Ferguson beats us, okay, if

(01:26:17):
Randon Cooks beats us, okay, Like right, don't let Ceede
Lamb kill you?

Speaker 4 (01:26:21):
Correct, I will say, though it's hard to sometimes do
that if that's not what you normally do, because you
know you're you're changing your sort of base defense. Like
Belichick has always done that. Right, and when Belichick has
always done for those who who might not be aware.
And look, the defense is playing fine this year, so
the offense absolutely stinks. He timpically would take his number

(01:26:42):
two corner and put that person on number one and
double number one with number two in a safety and
then put his number one corner number two and shut
that person down essentially, right, That's what Belichick did for
so many years. But that's what he always did, right,
and so he was able to bracket guys. You know,
the way you get off brackets is you put ceedee

(01:27:04):
Lamb on the move right, you have them in motion,
they put him in, you put him inside in the slaughter,
inside of a three by one, Like, there's ways to
get off the bracket. And if you if you're a
defense that's doing something different in that game to try
to bracket Lamb and they put them in different places,
does that sort of mess up what you're trying to
actually get done, because now it's like, oh, who whoa

(01:27:24):
whoa Wait, we're supposed to bracket him, but now he's
in number three, Like do we still bracketing him?

Speaker 1 (01:27:28):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:27:29):
Are we still doing this? And then and if they
don't typically do that. I think it makes it very
difficult just to do it in one game, if that
makes sense, right, Like just all of a sudden, like okay,
we're gonn take our entire defense for for lamb. Now
it's possible Eagles already have this in and they're just
waiting for a game to use it, which could be
this game. Obviously a big part of this game will
end up being, you know, like hitting Dak Prescott. Like,

(01:27:50):
can the Eagles defensive line which the Niners were able
to control the last three quarters of the game last
weeknd the Cowboys offense line is fantastic. Can they disrupt
Dak Prescott? Can they get him feeling like he's got
a little heat in the pocket, speed up his process
a little bit and sort of find a way to
get him And this is obviously a blanket statement for
most games, but get him off a spot right, find

(01:28:11):
a way to rattle him, get him thinking quicker than
he has to think in my big game where you
have to outscore Dallas. He Goles just got to get
in there and outscore Dallas. Jalen hurts, guys, I'm curious,
Brian if you think he's just he's not playing the
same this season. This is an MVP elimination game, I
think too, which is wild because I mean, he's brock
Party winning the MVP this season. Guys like, is he.

Speaker 5 (01:28:33):
I say no, even though he's the favorite, I say no.

Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
Okay, can I make a case for for Tyreek Hill MVP?

Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
I think.

Speaker 4 (01:28:42):
I think I bet tybreek Hill MVP like a month ago.

Speaker 5 (01:28:45):
I think this is great, Jeff, I can look it up.

Speaker 4 (01:28:48):
I forget. I haven't got to be.

Speaker 5 (01:28:49):
Like sixteen to one something like that. Yeah, definitely have.

Speaker 4 (01:28:52):
I have Offensive Player of the Year for him at
plus two thousand. I had that before the season, so
I feel I feel good there he assuming offensive by
the year. Here's my Tyreek Hill case. So when you
look at non quarterbacks who have won the MVP, they
have to have a special season. So Adrian Peterson in
twenty twelve won the MVP and he had he was
nine yards short of Eric Takers since Russian record. I

(01:29:12):
was on the Vikings team that year, right, I think
five Shawn Alexander won and he had two thousand yards
that season if I'm correct on that one, right, guys?
And then LT one and he had that year. We
had fifty touchdowns of insane touchdown number. Right, Yeah, if
Tyreek Hill gets two thousand yards receiving, he's going to
he in a year when you don't have Patrick Mahomes,

(01:29:33):
Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, you know the mannings like, we
don't have those guys at the top of the sport
this season. You look at Okay brock Party when you
talk about brock Purty, and he deserves a lot of
credit for how he's played the first thing anyone says
defending him or against him. They talk about everything but
brock Perty right scheme, Trent Williams, Debo, Christian McCaffrey. When

(01:29:56):
you talk about Dak Prescott, it's more about Dak Prescott, right,
you talk about Jalen Hurts, about what Jaylen Hurts does.
It feels like everyone's going to try to find a
way not to bet brock perty And if you have
Tyreek Hill with two thousand yards, which he's on track
to Dude Bryan, that'd be a record, correct ik anyone's
ever done yet too. I think Calvi Johns has been close.
I believe right it was an eighty yards short thing
like that. I don't know if Tyree kill is close
a touchdown record either first season, which is possible to

(01:30:20):
that feels like the MVP, right, A guy that gets
a breaks a record as a non quarterback, that is
the recipe for that wager. That guy to win the
MVP very.

Speaker 2 (01:30:30):
Well could be.

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
And the other thing to keep in mind you might
have to hashtag fins up throughout the rest of the
season here, Jeff. The last six MVPs have been the
number one seed and that's where Miami is right now.
So if Miami finishes with the one seed, that's a big,
big deal for Tyreek Hill potentially winning MVP. He's got
to get to two thousand yards. He at least has

(01:30:53):
to surpass Calvin Johnson. Calvin's at nineteen sixty four. That
was his receiving yardage toll in twenty twelve. But he's
got to break that, right and then if he could
get to two thousand yards, that's even better. But man,
if the Dolphins are the one seed on top of
all of that, I think he's got a great chance
the one seed. The MVP of eight of the last

(01:31:15):
ten years was on a team that was the one seed,
and so that's a big deal. I think that's really important,
and Miami's got a shot to do that. If they do,
even better chances for Tyree to be in.

Speaker 4 (01:31:27):
I'm trying to find the number. I got cracked. I
have all these different Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:31:31):
I looked at that number earlier this week. I seen
sixteen to one as the highest I seen. I would
just wonder in what they were. I also check McCaffrey.
I found like fifty to one, but I didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:31:39):
Our mutual friend Sammy P has a plus twelve thousand
tickets on Tyreko MVP for the.

Speaker 2 (01:31:45):
SIME so one hundred, yeah, twelve thousand.

Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
Yeah, I have it somewhere here. I have plus fourteen
twenty five Okay, okay, so you know it's not twelve thousand,
but yeah, still you know, still money to be made
there if he ends up winning the MVP.

Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
Oh that's nice. Chunk could change right there.

Speaker 5 (01:32:05):
Yeah, seem to one. Yeah, get them. So, by the way, guys,
has it been a quarterback like the last like eight years?
Like you said, is it? Has it been a QB?

Speaker 7 (01:32:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
I'm sorry, I actually bet it twice. I don't know why,
but I have a plus thirty five hundred two.

Speaker 5 (01:32:19):
Yeah that sounds because you said a month ago. I
was thinking to myself that sounded it sounded strange.

Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
It's like Christmas morning. Oh hey, I got another technical.

Speaker 4 (01:32:30):
I have a plus thirty five hundred as well. So whoop. See.

Speaker 3 (01:32:34):
Yeah, quarterbacks to the whole time, last six years.

Speaker 4 (01:32:39):
Yeah, and probably no quarterbacks. The last quarterback that wasn't
the MVP was twenty twelve.

Speaker 5 (01:32:44):
Yeah you said that.

Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
Okay, even more, the last six last six have been
quarterbacks that were on a team that were was the one.

Speaker 4 (01:32:51):
Oh yeah that makes yeah, that makes total sense. Yeah,
I mean, look again, it's the MVP. All these awards
guys are not about value, like I think they should
be called like I don't know what to call them,
best player, just called him best player, best Quarterback award
because the value, right, like Tyreek Hill's value to the
Dolphins if he's not on that team, Brian, you're a
Dolphins fan, that team is different. It's a different football

(01:33:14):
team now. But you could make the argument that value
is the same as you know, if Mahomes not the Chiefs, right,
they're not. They're not as good as a football team.
If and the think about Brock parties. If you put
like if you put Mac Jones in for brock Party
three years ago. Do you have the same result by now?

Speaker 3 (01:33:33):
I think you could. I think you could put a
couple other quarterbacks in there and have similar results.

Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
It's the same thing.

Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
There are some you know, like gms around the league
that are saying, hey, he's great with the lead, but
when he's playing from behind, what do you have? Because
it's the Jimmy g type thing. When you're playing with
the lead, it's a different deal. When you're playing from behind,
the running game isn't a factor. Maybe the other team
can pin its ears back. What do you have then?
And then we also had a glimpse when Deebo was

(01:34:00):
nicked up, Trent Williams was nicked up. That's when brock
perty was at his worst this season. So huh, I'm
not trying to just.

Speaker 5 (01:34:05):
That's a good note. That's that that is an interesting scenario.
You're right, there's so much talent around them, you know, Deebo, McCaffrey, ayuk,
there's so much talent around them that why is he
getting all the love? Yeah? Interesting? I could never bet
it now. Plus two and a half to one, I
can never bettle plus two twenty five is no.

Speaker 4 (01:34:25):
Mahomes is what is mahomes right now? Let me look
at bet MJ.

Speaker 5 (01:34:28):
Holmes.

Speaker 4 (01:34:30):
Okay, so we talked to us earlier, Like the schedule
sets up to where they could be they win today,
they're very likely thirteen and four and the one seed. Again,
if the Ravens can, I mean there's but they have
the Tibergers, Jackson and Miami and the Ravens. It's you know,
I don't think they're gonna win out the rest of
the season. That to me feels like not if you

(01:34:50):
don't have any Mahomes MVP money right now in your
in your pocket. It does feel like right now, it's
so sort of the time to take some of that.
And I think on Sunday morning it's hard to bet
some I don't think these are up the MVP numbers
are up at all times on Sunday mornings, but it does, right,
Am I wrong on that? Like take a little take
a little bit of a home's money right now feels
like no, just a good, a good to have in

(01:35:12):
your back pocket.

Speaker 3 (01:35:13):
Yeah, I don't hate it, watch party win it in everything,
it's like you're at the craps table.

Speaker 2 (01:35:19):
I sposed a little bit on like five five could hit.

Speaker 3 (01:35:22):
You know, I've got everything else covering seven boom, everything
goes no.

Speaker 5 (01:35:26):
Mathematically, he's supposed to hit it according to the bookmakers here.
So we're just finding other ways for value because there's
no value taking that low number.

Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
Now, yeah, hey, be sure to check out the new

Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
Score a reward.

Speaker 7 (01:36:47):
All right.

Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
So we've got the Colts taking on the Bengals today
and a lot of money coming in on the Bengals
throughout the week.

Speaker 5 (01:36:57):
Oh god, even today, even this morning.

Speaker 1 (01:36:58):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:36:59):
Yeah, I mean they're all about Jake Browning at this point.

Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
Crack yeah, you know this scares me right just off
last week quarterback going of course, you know burrows out,
so we have backup. And let me tell you they
got no respect in that game either. When they played Jacksonville.
The line was just nothing but Jacksonville money. And as
we know, any given Sunday or weeknight, anything can happen

(01:37:23):
in the NFL. Win and it will and it can happen,
and it did last week. As we seen Jacksonville be
upset by Cincinnati. It's all since e money this morning,
literally going up a point and a half this morning
again to three in a lot of spots. Yeah, it's
actually plus three minus fifteen bet MGM. And I'll just

(01:37:44):
tell you I don't know, but I think one of
you guys said it earlier, Fading Browning maybe a little
bit because of all the love that he got, So
that may be an angle to look at. I did
lock up Bengals earlier in the sea earlier in the
week and a tea, but that was like Monday or Tuesday,
so that's when they were underdog. But that game has

(01:38:07):
moved four points since then, at least four points since then,
so we'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (01:38:12):
How about these rush defenses there, it's like the Spider
Man meme where he's looking at the other Spider Man.
So Indy is twenty sixth against the rush, the Bengals
are twenty seventh. Get this Indy on average against the rush,
they give up one thirty three point three. The Bengals
give up one thirty three point nine. Like that's how

(01:38:34):
close they are against the rush?

Speaker 5 (01:38:35):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (01:38:35):
Now the difference is the Colts get back their nose tackle,
Grover Stewart. He's back from suspension. That's a big deal.
He helps their run defense out massively, So that might
give Indy the edge in that department. But Jonathan Taylor
out with that thumb injury, he had surgery. Zach Moss
is in there, but he's been pretty good as a
lead back for Indianapolis. What do you think about this one, Jeff?

(01:38:56):
Which way do you lean Colts are Bengals.

Speaker 4 (01:38:59):
Well, we just talked about about an hour ago about
the rams right in the running back position and how
it doesn't seem to matter, and yeah, that's the way
I feel about most running backs, Like it's an offensive
line thing right now. There's obviously some backs that are
able to break tackles at a higher rate, and some
guys they're able to maybe have burst a little bit,
you know, if you get that burst going and break
those long runs. But for the most part, I think

(01:39:21):
that backs can be interchangeable.

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:39:24):
My thought of this game is we have a quarterback
in Jake Browning who I watched play for five years
or four years whoever, was in college at Washington, and
I never thought that game was possible that he had
against the Jaguars, and to me, it's a once in
a lifetime game from Jake Browning. Everything sort of played
itself into into, you know, being the best that he'll

(01:39:48):
ever play. And so there's certainly the idea I had
about fading him in this game. But the other side,
I have Garter Minshew, Like, the guy is just fifty
to fifty. He's a backup quarterback. Some game great, some
games not. I will tell you what I have in
this game. Go check out my Bare Bets podcast with
Chris Filikia the Bear Chris Filica. We give out some

(01:40:09):
fantastic wagering advice, you know, the Family of Fox podcasts there,
and we had Sammy Peon who we love. Sammy, and
he said that Jamar Chase to score three touchdowns was
ninety to one on Thursday, and that price makes no sense.
It's way too high. So I took it. So I'm
rooting for Jamar Chase to score three touchdowns, three touchdowns

(01:40:32):
and ninety to one. Two touchdowns was ten to one,
so that number made no sense. It's mispriced. That's what
I'm rooting for today. That's what I have, Jamar Chase
scoring three touchdowns. I don't care how he does it. It
could be all one yard touchdowns from Jake Browning Brian
for all I care.

Speaker 5 (01:40:49):
Mispriced. He's right that you can't be from ten to
one to ninety to one. I know it's that much harder,
but situationally, i'd listened. Sammy p Is, like you said,
mutual friend, and he's sharp as a bleed. So there
you go.

Speaker 4 (01:41:04):
So that's what I'm rooting for this game. I don't
really have a play otherwise, I mean, what do you
do in this game? Like, I don't really see. Look,
I get the wise guys have you know, the numbers,
and they don't really go off of how I think
about football at the times. But I just don't see
an edge in this game. I don't see an edge
as far as like where I would where I feel
comfortable defending. How I'm wager on the game.

Speaker 3 (01:41:26):
Well, it's like cracks golden rule is you said it
earlier today?

Speaker 2 (01:41:31):
Crack too.

Speaker 3 (01:41:31):
You can't get the bottom of the barrel with the line. Yeah,
So if you're on the Bengals, the time has passed
too late.

Speaker 5 (01:41:39):
Too late. The only way you could bet this game
now with three points is Indy, you can't lay three.
If you're laying three. I'll tell you what, you really
have to get sharpened up by us. Even if they win.
I don't care even if they win. Guys, this, this
is you cannot win betting football laying the pinnacle of
the number going up to the three at game time

(01:42:02):
when you could have literally, like I said earlier, it
was plus one one. I took a teaser. But even
at pickham or minus one, you just can't lay three.

Speaker 3 (01:42:11):
By the way, crack, could you lose respect by winning?

Speaker 5 (01:42:15):
Mean?

Speaker 3 (01:42:15):
I mean if you minus three and it worked out
for you, would you still be like, of course.

Speaker 5 (01:42:21):
No chance to win.

Speaker 8 (01:42:22):
Right.

Speaker 5 (01:42:23):
If I was a bookmaker, I'd welcome your action. I'd
give you. If I was a sports book I'd give
you bonuses, rebait everything. Uh, you know, free trips to
the Super Bowl. Whatever. The bigger you bet, the more
stuff you get from us.

Speaker 3 (01:42:35):
There you go, all right, we're gonna bet big on one.
Isaac loewen Kron and the ro O. I it's always
great with this guy, Isaac.

Speaker 2 (01:42:45):
With the latest, what's going.

Speaker 10 (01:42:46):
On, well, particularly with some news coming down just now
that the Dallas Cowboys have added star linebacker Micah Parsons
to the injury report prior to Tonight' showdown against the
Philadelphia Eagles due to illness. Parsons, however, is still bill
expected to play. Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence will start
today at Cleveland despite suffering a high right ankle spring

(01:43:08):
this past Monday night. Jaguars running back Trevor Etn is active,
as well, so is Brown's receiver Amari Cooper. Brown's quarterback
Denzel Ward, however, inactive due to his shoulder injury. Derek
Carr and Chris Olave both active for the Saints against
the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (01:43:24):
Jets.

Speaker 10 (01:43:25):
Running back Bresee Hall is active against the Houston Texans.
On Saturday night in Vegas, the Los Angeles Lakers claimed
the NBA's first ever in season tournament championship with a
one twenty three one oh nine win over the Indiana Pacers.
While in college football, on Saturday night, LSU quarterback Jaden
Daniels took home the Heisman Trophy. Fellas all yours.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
Thank you, I Low.

Speaker 3 (01:43:47):
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM.
Only about twenty five minutes away from kickoff. We are
flying through this show Man. We'll go rapid fire. We'll
go through as many games as we can. How about
Monday night? You got the staggered start to get two
games Tennessee at the Dolphins. Jeff, So the line has changed.

(01:44:10):
It's at two touchdowns right now. But if it's under two,
you thinking aqua and orange here.

Speaker 4 (01:44:16):
But they're not staggered. Starts are at the same time,
which is which is.

Speaker 5 (01:44:19):
Even unusual at five pm, makes no sense.

Speaker 4 (01:44:21):
They're both the five, right, they're both the eight fifteen.

Speaker 2 (01:44:24):
They are this time. Yeah, you're right. The normally they've.

Speaker 5 (01:44:26):
Done that, you think they would be staggered. They did
entice more action and the NFL is all about action.
Who they kids?

Speaker 4 (01:44:32):
This is dumb? Who wants Who wants to football games like?
This is silly?

Speaker 7 (01:44:37):
Brian.

Speaker 4 (01:44:37):
We do this every week. The Dolphins. Are the Dolphins
playing a bad football team? Yes or no? Yes, yes, okay,
then they're gonna win this game by a lot of points.
This is like they blowout bad teams. We do this.
We we every week. We're like, wow, do we lay
the number with the Dolphins? And you look at the score,
it's forty five to fifteen. You're like, I should have
laid the number with the Dolphins. I think one time

(01:44:59):
in the last the Raiders, the Raiders game, they beat
they beat the they beat the the Broncos by fifty,
Giants by fifteen, Panthers by twenty one, Patriots by fourteen,
Raiders by seven, that was the one. Then Jets by
twenty one, and Commanders by thirty. I mean, I I
just the Titans are going on the road and there

(01:45:22):
Titans are just like, I mean, they missed extra point
last week. They would have won then covered that game
that would have been that would have been five. And oh,
by the way, and cracked.

Speaker 2 (01:45:28):
We were both on Tennessee, Tennessee.

Speaker 5 (01:45:30):
That was a terrible, terrible beat terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:45:33):
Well, well what happened was the punts also?

Speaker 4 (01:45:35):
Yeah, well the punter got hurt on one of the
block punts. He couldn't hold and Tannehill had to come
in and hold and the ball was like tilt through
the wrong direction or something.

Speaker 2 (01:45:43):
Immediately it was like my bad that Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:45:46):
We lost that way there. So I don't know, Look,
it's not one of my favorites this week, but like
I I what other number that I liked that just
I can't take anymore. There was another game that I liked.
I just the number is bad. I can't take it.
So I'm trying to find a different number, a different
game to take, and that was sort of popped into
my head. Is a possibility here, So you know, look,
I the Dolphins tend to do this. I might put

(01:46:09):
some money on this one national TV game. Something to
root for here, crack maybe Dolphins, you know, maybe? Uh Jesus,
I can't even advise doing like a Dolphins Giants teaser. Jeez.
So but the Dolphins, to me mean team's little over
possibly Brian as well. I mean, the Dolphins just played this.
They play well in these football games they have all season.

Speaker 5 (01:46:28):
Don't think this game can't go to fourteen and a
half by tomorrow night. Guys, everyone, you know, all them.

Speaker 4 (01:46:33):
Tell me the best numbers. Now.

Speaker 5 (01:46:35):
It's fourteen fourteen now, but don't think they can't go
to fourteen and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
Think of the team total. By the way, it's thirty
and a.

Speaker 4 (01:46:41):
Half for the Dolls lot in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (01:46:43):
It's a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:46:44):
But I mean, yeah, so you guys would only be
looking to go under there then, right, is that what
you're saying I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:46:49):
I'm just saying it's it's high, it's high. But could
they get to thirty one against the Titans. Absolutely they Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:46:56):
The Dolphins are looking to keep that number one seed.
But like Jeff said earlier, you seven much easier your schedule.
Dolphins still have the Cowboys Ravensis.

Speaker 4 (01:47:04):
Next week is not a look ahead though, right Next
week is not Next week is not a look ahead spot.
So like, it's not even they play the Jets next week.
It's not even one where you're like, well, they have
a look ahead I mean look to end with Cowboys
Ravens Bills. So I'm curious too if there's a chance
to play a Dolphins team team win total under after
the Titans and Jets game, if there's a way that.

(01:47:26):
If there's, I don't be but I mean the Cowboys
at home at the Ravens Bills to end the season.
Bills might be playing for nothing or for playing for
a playoff spot in that situation. So interesting with the
Dolphins here.

Speaker 3 (01:47:39):
How about the other game right you touched on it
briefly with the Packers and Giants, but if you look
at the Packers, they're six and six right now, rattled
off a couple of wins, monster win last week against
the Chiefs. You look at the remaining schedule including the Giants,
right that's tomorrow night, Tampa Carolina Vikings Bears, and right

(01:48:00):
now they're the seventh seed. They're a playoff team right now,
so Green Bay they might end up sneaking in there.
That schedule is very fair.

Speaker 5 (01:48:08):
Their favorite, their favorite to being to make the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (01:48:12):
This number feels high though, anyways, isn't it.

Speaker 5 (01:48:14):
You know what I got to tell you, this is
a rare thing. You guys are going to be floored.
I just think the Giants may have I don't know,
given up here. You have two teams that going in
two different directions. Really, Green Bay, I think they won
three and lay with three and six. Now they're six
and six, of course, lots of love for love now
everyone talking about it. And I'll tell you at the
beginning of the week, I actually laid a little money

(01:48:36):
on Green Bay, a rare early side for me. And
uh it's still no lining respect still six and a
half everywhere including BT MGM. And you know, I just
think we could see a rare road favorite for me
laying more than three points My golden rule is not
to lay more than three points on any game one

(01:48:57):
or two games a year, and this is the one
or two games situation here. Listen, they're looking more like
a playoff team. I've seen odds at Green Bay to win.
It's hard to blowme me. This is why you're getting
such an ROI the conference at sixty to one, and
I actually liked that. Bet, I said, Wow, sixty to
one sounds like a lot. So we'll see what happens here.

(01:49:20):
Should be a fun but that should be the better
of the two games in my opinion. Tomorrow night.

Speaker 3 (01:49:25):
You're probably right, probably right about that. Could be very
low scoring, supposed to be a weather game. Sure, so
we'll see how that unfolds. But yeah, that's goofy right.
I didn't realize that both games starting at the exact
same time makes no sense.

Speaker 5 (01:49:39):
It just makes no sense at all. I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (01:49:41):
I don't get it either, don't get.

Speaker 1 (01:49:43):
That at all.

Speaker 3 (01:49:44):
Okay, so we got a lot to do here. Piskalore

All of that right around the corner.

Speaker 3 (01:50:22):

Only twelve minutes away from kickoff.

Speaker 4 (01:50:34):

Speaker 3 (01:50:35):
Props to the crew, our trusted producer Bo Benson on
Cloud nine due to Otani Watch landing in Dodgerville. We've

(01:50:56):
Radio keep it locked right here. We'll have Steve Hartman
and Rich Ornberger having you covered wall to wall with
NFL stuff here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:51:06):
We got picks to make. Let's do it five five,
five games against the spread.

Speaker 1 (01:51:12):
We call it, call it the crack Challenge.

Speaker 3 (01:51:16):
Okay, the latest lines ten minutes before kickoff. Jeff, you
were four and one last week. You're hitting at a
fifty nine percent clip. I'm a little over fifty two percent.
So we're doing well right now. Let's keep it going.

Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
What do you like today?

Speaker 4 (01:51:36):
All right? Panthers plus five and a half, Bears plus three,
Browns minus two and a half. You get that a
number earlier this week, Chiefs minus one and a half.
I'm gonna add one. I'm gonna add one more game here.
Oh boy, you know what I will take? Oh boy,

(01:52:03):
this is this is hard. One more game today.

Speaker 5 (01:52:05):
Say you're me guy, An's here?

Speaker 4 (01:52:06):
I thought, No, I'm not going against you. If you
have the Packers.

Speaker 5 (01:52:10):
Minus six, okay, I was trying to beat you out.

Speaker 4 (01:52:13):
I'll go Texans minus three, Texans minus.

Speaker 3 (01:52:15):
Three, okay, well the last two I'm with you. I've
got also the Texans minus three and the Chiefs minus
point and a half. I'm going with the Ravens. All
about the Ravens today, I'll lay the seven and a hook.

Speaker 2 (01:52:30):
I'm heavy on be more. Give me the Colts. I'll
take the three. It's slung.

Speaker 3 (01:52:35):
There's way too much steam on the Bengals in this one.
I'll take the three points. Gropers through it coming back.
That's good for the Colts rush defense. I'll take the
points and I'll take the points with Tampa. Give me
a point and a half against Atlanta. Atlanta's undefeated in
the division. They're three to zero this NFC South. It's
just gonna get all mucked up. It just seems so

(01:52:56):
NFC South that Tampa would win today. Both up in
Atlanta will have the same record, right like, everything gets
jumbled up.

Speaker 2 (01:53:04):
I think Tampa comes.

Speaker 3 (01:53:05):
Out with the win today, but I'll take the point
and a half for added insurance right there.

Speaker 2 (01:53:11):
All right, got more picks to make. Let's do this.

Speaker 4 (01:53:16):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 2 (01:53:18):
All right, Prack, We'll start with you, man, what do
you like today?

Speaker 5 (01:53:20):
I've been doing sides and totals and doing well in
this space, But this week I like a prop so much.
I gotta put some props in these space this year.
Let's go to the Cincinnati Bengals game. Higgins over thirty
eight and a half receiving yards. That's right from bed
MGM's site. Higgins over receiving yards. Okay, I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:53:39):
Do you think jeff.

Speaker 4 (01:53:41):
I mentioned earlier I liked Patrick Mahomes to go over
for his rushing today. It was thirty and a half
about a hour ago. Let me make sure I have
the right number right now again in these bigger games,
he tends to run a lot, and the Bills have
given up good amount of rushing yards this year to
the mobile w it's thirty and a half. Still, I

(01:54:02):
like that. I'll think there's a a Jake Browning fade
to be made here today. His number is two thirty
four and a half now, so I'll go under for
Jake brown to thirty four and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:54:16):
Okay, this is gonna seem like a pathetic brown nosing attempt,
but it's not. It's one of our boss's birthdays today.
It's Scott Shapiro's birthday.

Speaker 5 (01:54:26):
Happy birthday, Scottie boy.

Speaker 3 (01:54:27):
And he's a huge Vikings fan, right Yeah, from Minnesota.
I'm gonna take the Vikings team total over twenty and
a half today.

Speaker 2 (01:54:37):
You get Justin Jefferson back.

Speaker 3 (01:54:39):
I think Josh Dobbs there were some rumors maybe he
gets benched.

Speaker 2 (01:54:43):
I think he bowls out all the stops.

Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
I actually like him over twenty five and a half
rushing yards today as well. A lot more attention on
Justin Jefferson. I think Dobbs utilizes his legs more. I
like the Vikings to get to at least twenty one
points today against the Winders.

Speaker 5 (01:55:00):
I'm gonna go nice next time. It's next time. Let
me know here, because Scott, if you can get here
in the next couple hours, I do have tickets for
that Raiders game that I'm giving away. I wish you
were If I knew you were here, there would have
been a nice birthday present for mister Shapiro.

Speaker 2 (01:55:15):
Just fire up the private jet. J Absolutely, all right.
We saved the best for last. Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:55:23):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:55:28):
All right, Crack, what do you have for us?

Speaker 5 (01:55:30):
Man? All right, I'm gonna go to something that's been
really good for me. Bangle, I'm sorry. The Buffalo Allen
over one and a half touchdown passes minus one fifty
two touchdown passes. You win.

Speaker 4 (01:55:42):
You've been on that this year a lot with Alan.

Speaker 5 (01:55:44):
I have been on it a lot and it's been
cashing a lot. So and you know, one of my
buddies here listening to us over on seven sixty KFMB
and San Diego said to me purposely today said, hey,
