hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tyrack dot
Com the way tire buying should be. We got a
lot of things to get to. An hour two, We're
gonna bring Cuffs the Legend on to talk NBA playoffs.
We can talk about coaches killer conversation that we had
in our one as KD and Lebron Are they coach killers?
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Is that legit? Is that necessary? Is it needed? I
don't know, but I guess we'll talk about it maybe
a little bit more when Cuffs comes on. But first, fellas,
let's jump out of the gates. We talked about quarterbacks
power rankings week one. The Bears have already slated Caleb
Williams as the starting quarterback for this team. Coming into
(01:56):
the season, with everything that's taking place, you raid away
your starting quarterback who was not, by any stretch of
the imagination, a bust or or a miss misstep for
the Chicago Bears, and justin fields, you draft Caleb Williams
with your number one pick, and now you are naming
(02:18):
him your QB one uh and in many camps OTA's
organized team workouts, do you, guys feel like this is
the right, the right move to already crown him and
already anoint him the starter? Do you think that he
needs to have more reps. Where you guys fall.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
On this, well, LeVar, when you look at it, uh,
you look at their roster and you look at their
depth chartists like who else gonna be QB one? But
when you draft Caleb Williams first and you don't have
a proven veteran on a roster, we all know Caleb
(03:02):
is going to be the starter. You don't have anybody
on that roster that can challenge him. And so he
is considered one of the top quarterbacks to come out
of the draft in years. And so when you had
that and you had that pedigree, you are going to
(03:24):
be thrown into the fire immediately. But he's thrown into
the fire with maybe the best set of skilled players
that we've seen a rookie quarterback, the first pick ever
have in the history of the league, we've ever seen.
Hold On, now, a rookie quarterback going in and your
(03:46):
receivers are DJ Moore, Keenan Alan Roma Dunes and you
got Deon j. Swift as a running back. When have
we seen that?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
It sounds good, But I think that there would be
a debate in Minnesota. Vikings may they may who what
do you mean? With who who is the quarterback? JJ McCarthy.
What I'm just saying, you said a supporting cast.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
JJ McCarthy is not.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
They got Aaron Jones in the back. I'm taking Aaron
Jones over DeAndre Swift and I'm a Swift fan. I'm
taking Jones over Swift. I'm taking Justin Jefferson over two
of them receivers you just named. Listen, any two, I
don't even care, but any JJ McCarthy probably will not start.
Sam Darnold's going to be the starter. Yeah, maybe day one,
maybe day one, But it's.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
My point, that's right.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
But hold on now. JJ McCarthy is one hundred percent
stepping into the best situation out of anybody.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Williams.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
I'm talking a ricky quarterback starting Week one for Caleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
And we don't know that JJ McCarthy isn't going to
be the starter week wint out.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
This is the thing. Know, when a team has the
first pick, you have the first pick for a reason.
Obviously they have the first pick because they've acquired it
from the Carolina Panthers. We just have not seen a
quarterback go number one and have this. I don't disagree
with it. We have seen it.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
I do not disagree with you. I do have questions.
You know, I'm always the injury guy. You know, I'm
always Keenan Island. Keenaniley. Keenan Island is your best guy
if he can stay healthy. DJ Moore, He's a he's
a yards after the catch type of guy, A doonez
has big play potential, but we don't know. He's a rookie.
Will have to see if he can handle uh coming
(05:38):
up to this next level and how that looks.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
I mean, I would assume the way Hey, Plexica was
the year plex was a year too early. He was
a year too early. Any onmy shoes for this beat,
he was a year too early. You still like, I
have your shoes sitting here. They've been sitting here waiting
at their all whites. I said I last day. Last year,
(06:01):
the Bears were gonna win the division to make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
He was just a year too early.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
I'm gonna take care of us today.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Hey, just know this, though, you're a year too early
because the Bears, No way, the Bears will be a
wild card playoff market down market.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Since we're talking about rookie quarterbacks starting over there nobody's
talking about Jaydon Daniels.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
He's definitely gonna be Washington.
Speaker 6 (06:32):
Well, and now you're throwing scary terry to the mix. Yes,
you just bringing Austin Austin. Yes, he's no slouch. So
when you get to talking about offensive offensive weapons with
a rookie quarterback, nobody's talking about Jaydon Daniels.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
They got they got Dotson from Penn State. And I
know that might sound like I'm being biased, but johyn
is he's just as good as McLaurin. If you ask me,
I mean, that is a nice that is a nice
set of guys. Then you got zach Ertz, that tight end,
like you said, Austin Eckler out of the backfield. That's
that's a pretty that's a pretty solid group. And Jaydon Daniels.
(07:11):
To me, I believe Jaydon Daniels is the best quarterback.
It's like one one A one B between him and
Caleb Williams. I just that's what I believe and and
and it is what it is. But but you gotta
believe that JJ McCarthy. I'm sorry if JJ McCarthy is
the starting rookie for for them, for for the Minnesota Vikings.
(07:33):
He's got the best supporting cast.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
I don't agree.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
Basically you're talking about you're basically talking about one great
all Pro wide receivering justin Jefferson.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
No way, Yes, you're.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
More than that. So so you don't feel good about it.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
If that was more than that, then Kirk Cousins would
have been able to get it done in Minnesota. Can
you not sit here and say today, right now, that
Kirk Cousins a better Is he not a better quarterback?
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Is he not a better quarterback than JJ McCary O, listen, man, Look,
he got hurt, man, Kirk Cousins got hurt. He got hurt.
He was having the MVP season hurt. The Minnesota Vikings
were on the on the path, on the track of
having one of the most successful seasons that they've had
and he got hurt. That was the only reason. So
I'm not taking that away from Kirk Cousins that he
(08:25):
got hurt.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
So are you saying that JAJ mccaffy's going to come
in shock and kirkus.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
I'm saying he's got a better If you're telling me
from top to bottom that having Aaron Jones in your backfield,
who by the way is just as is now. And
I'm gonna say this with the utmost confidence. He has
just as much versatility as McCaffrey does. In San Francisco.
When you look at their receiving court, they got they got,
Like I said, they got your boy Justin Jefferson, who
(08:52):
is one of the most elite. But then Jordan Addison
is right up there with them. Jordan Addison is one
of the most underrated dope receivers in the league right
now as a young talent. And then you got Hockinson,
that tight end. Come on, y'all, don't act like that.
That's not like that's loaded. That's that's a load of talent.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
Play the position is what I want to know.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
I think he can play. Honestly, I don't think he's
that accurate of a passer. Everybody look, but they were
able to run. Everybody wants to act as though JJ
McCarthy's lifted passer. He can throw the ball, He can
spend the ball, is any of these quarterbacks and.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Then so he cannot raft? Yes, he cannot.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
He can.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
He does not throw the ball like Jaydon Dames. He
does not throw the ball like Michael Pennis Jr. And
he does not throw the ball like Kayler Willis. You
can say what you want to say.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Come comparable.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
No, I'm not not even comparable, not even close.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
I'll put someone's on that. No, not even come on,
I take that back. I want I don't want to
jump out.
Speaker 6 (09:53):
Be talking about the NFC, nor if I mean Mike Ay,
my guy been Green Bay through thirty two touchdowns last year.
He was second in the league before the one hundred
yards passion. We just ain't gonna just keep walking over
Jordan Love like nice man, Jordan Loved Nice. He the
best quarterback in after forty one passion.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
Hey, talking about the back Jerry off is Jared Yes,
yes he is, y'all trip thirty and according to ranking
that you just told us he is.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
I don't I don't know. I don't you know Love is.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
The best quarterback in the division.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah is, Yes, he is. LeVar. I think it's debatable.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
I like what he did.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
I like how he carved up the Dallas Cowboys, even
though my man Mike is.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
On that defense. I like the ways on the Rocks.
Really should have pulled that one out. He should have
yesterday fourteen zero. I do he rolled out and make
a strozer in the game.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
But y'all can't.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Should have won, but you can't. You guys can't be
wishy washy. And how y'all be not being wishy washing y'all?
John need to see another season what you watch? You
need to see another season for Shroud.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
It's because C. J. Stroud was a rookie. Jordan Love
started off a rookie, but he knew the offense. But
this is the thing. If you look at the way
Jordan Love started, if you go back to they asked
the floor in the gym, gooten Clus whatever how you
pronounce the name, like is Jordan loved the quarterback of they?
(11:30):
He said, I we don't know, we don't know. And
as soon as he makes that comment, the Packers and
Jordan Love just went on a streak and it was
like question is answered. He played so well down the stretch,
it was like whoa. He just it was almost as
if he had to get a feel for the game
and understand and once he got that, it was over.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Listen, I don't care what nobody said.
Speaker 6 (11:55):
I don't if if it's not, if it was if
it was Kylin Murray, if if you throw for forty
one hundred yards now your second in the NFL, and
touchdown passes only give you your flowers.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
But it just happened to be Jordan Love and you
just can't overlook four thousand.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yards at all, the two touchdowns at all. F your flowers, plaques,
forget your flowers? What about my legs?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (12:21):
This is.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
This is up for a gay. Hey, listen, we got
some spirited conversations going on, and we're gonna grab cuffs
the legend to join in on it. That's right. It
should get a little bit more spirited because well, the
NBA playoffs are heating up. There's a lot going on.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
This is up on game.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
We are in the tyrack dot com studios. We're gonna
take a quick break. We'll be right back.
Speaker 8 (12:44):
Hey, I'm Doug gottlie The podcast is called All Ball.
We usually talk all basketball all the time, but it's
more about the stories about what made these people love
their sport and all the interesting interactions along the way.
We talked to coaches, we talked to players, tell you stories.
You download it, you listen to it.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
I think you like it.
Speaker 8 (13:05):

Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio. All right, all right,
oh right, welcome back in. This is up on Game.
We are live from tyraq dot com Studios. We're going
to bring in Cuffs the Legend in moments, but first
let's get that update from our guys, the man, the myth,
(13:36):
the legend himself, mister Isaac Wait Krawn. Everybody give it
up from his hands like low wing Crawn. Not to you, LeVar,
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, back to me.
Speaker 9 (13:51):
Only only way to go is downhill. After a brilliant,
beautiful introduction like that.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I just I just try to you know, and thresh
you as much as I can.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
And and we're every time working every time.
Speaker 9 (14:03):
Next Saturday will be Mystic Dan, the Kentucky Derby winner.
Mystic Dan's trainer announced this morning that Mystic Dan is
going to run and the Preakness Stakes next Saturday, after
all of his initially thought that Mystic Dan would be
held out of the Preakdense because of the quick turnarounds.
So the potential for a twenty twenty four triple Crown
(14:24):
winner is still alive.
Speaker 7 (14:27):
Oh all right, yeah, and literally, literally and figuratively, let's
let's be clear off.
Speaker 9 (14:32):
Get out of here, mystic Dan, all right, thank you.
In Game three of the NBA's Western Conference Semifinals Friday night, Denver,
what in Minnesota by twenty seven, one seventeen to ninety
t will still lead the series two games to one.
In Game three of the Eastern Conference semi Finals last night,
the Pacers and Knicks we retired at what oh six
in the final minute of the fourth quarter. Here is
(14:53):
Mark Boyle on w fni.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Attiberton double teams out near the tideline three shoot two
to shoot thirty five foot two.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Stumperton, Stumberto.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
And hang on, can we listen to the rest of that?
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Wow? Number two.
Speaker 9 (15:24):
And just to clarify for those of you just tuning in,
that was a reference to Nemhard's jersey number and not
any sort of gastro intestinal activity anyway, that was the
game winner. Pacers one eleven, Nicks one oh six. The
Knicks still y the series two games to one. Today's
playoff action tips off at three point thirty Eastern with
(15:44):
Game three from Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City thunder
Tide at one victory apiece. Then tonight at eight thirty Eastern,
Game three from Cleveland with the Cavaliers and the Boston
Celtics tide at one victory a piece.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Fellas back to you.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Right, appreciate Alou and Enjuli your day, Mike guy. Uh,
you speaking about these NBA playoffs, And who better to
bring into the show to do that than our guy,
the man himself. Well they call him Cuffs the Legend.
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
It's not it's time to check in with Cuffs the legend.
From some dude show podcast on up on Game Presents,
Cuffs is giving you his spicy takes on what's.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Going down to take the heat like Lebron And now.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Here's Cuffs the Legend.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
It's gold time, the legend legend. All right, when you
hear the imaging, you know what happens next? We bring
on the guy. Yep, he's the man. He Cuffs the legend.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
We got a lot to get to, a lot to
talk about it. Seemingly, it's so crazy that even in
not being in the games, not playing in the playoffs,
Lebron James name still finds a way of coming up
in the latest conversations have been connected to now he
and Kevin Durant are known as coaches killers. Comes first,
(17:10):
how you're doing man? And then secondly, can you please
shed some light on should we actually be looking at
Lebron James and one Kevin Durant as coaches killers? And
if so, does that hurt their legacies? Like I asked
this question of TJ and Plex earlier, does this hurt
the legacies of Lebron and a guy like KD when
(17:32):
you get the name the title coaches killer, a coach killer?
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Now, I think the people that really roam with those narratives,
you know, the people that roum with that stuff are
just like Michael Jordan fans. I know they love the sneakers.
We all love the retro Jordan's. Man. I think a
lot of stuff are just narratives. It's these constant narratives
and where look, man, we know what Michael Jordan did
to Doug Collins. He got Dug Collins fired for Phil Jackson.
(18:00):
I don't want to talk about that, but yeah, these guys,
when you coach Lebron and Kevin Durant, especially at this
stage of their career, this juncture of their career, man,
it's Championship of Bus every year that these guys are
not trying to make it past the first round or
conference finals. It's Championship of Bus. When you coach them
two guys I call them the old heads because they
(18:20):
still hanging around. They still playing at a high level.
But when you're coaching even like Steph Curry, like Steve
Kerr was under fire this year, like a lot of
pressure was around Steve Kerr. He was kind of on
the hot seat. He was from Rumlin's there out there
in the bay because it's like what direction are the
Warriors going? But I think it's just because coaching those guys,
man is Championship of Bus every year. It's a lot
(18:42):
of pressure.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
And I want to go something different because it's been
bothering me watching these cuts. I said I wasn't gonna
watch the playoffs once we got eliminated, but I really.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Want Hey, TJ, it's tred free right now.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Hey, it is stress free.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
What do you make of what's going on with Rick
Carlile in the series with the Knicks and the way
they're officiating the games, and you let this go, you
let that go, and even when you look at the Timberwolves,
Denver series last night. They let a lot go.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Man.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
So as a player, there's just no consistency game to game.
I know there are different rests, but you want some
some just consistent. Let's call the game the same each
and every game so that we know what to expect.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Man, I agree on thousand percent with Rick Carlile. First
of all, he looks like Jim Carrey, So every time
I see him, I just start thinking about Jim carry
I start laughing when he's at the podium. But Carlile
and the rest of these coaches, man, there is some fishy.
There is something fishy. We know that Tim Donahue stuff
back in the day. It seems like some of these games, man,
(19:56):
they have like a real w W E wrastling typeescript
to him. I'm not gonna lie because you see from
game to game where Kyrie, for example, he hasn't scored
under ten points all season, right, all a two game
regular season including the playoffs, hasn't scored under ten. Game
two Kyrie had eight points. It's kind of fifty, right.
(20:17):
It's like from night to night. You see PJ. Washington
in the other night for Dallas, I think he had
twenty nine eleven rebounds. We haven't seen PJ. Washington do that.
Not saying he's not capable, but like from game to
game the fifty eight, and I think they want to.
I think there is some merit to what Carlilele said,
because you know, they want to see the Celtics and
the Knicks in the Eastern Conference finals. That's gonna be
(20:39):
the heavier ratings series in the Eastern Conference. If we
get an East Coast Old East East Coast robbery, you know,
like the Knicks fans, they're gonna be in the megabuses,
They're gonna be taking trips to Boston. It's gonna be
a crazy, chaotic series. I think Adam Silver, they definitely
are pushing that agenda and they don't want to see
the World Champions. They don't want to see the World
Champions with Yokids who just wanted MVP. That was controversial
(21:02):
by the way, you know, Sga, I feel like he
got rob for the MVP. But I think that gender
is being pushed with Yokis being the new faith or
one of the new faces of the NBA. But they
didn't want to see the Nugget gets well, man, I
don't think they wanted.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
To see that, not the way that game was called yesterday.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
I was like, wow, I sit here, you know everybody,
everybody wants to see the New York Knicks and the
Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference songs, but really, now
I don't even know who the Boston Celtics are. I
think I think this, this, the absence of poor singers
(21:39):
is really hurting the Boston Celtics offensively. And I'm looking
at I'm looking at the Keban Cavill Liz Man offensively, uh, Karenslvert,
Evan Mobley, Evan Mobley, and Donovan Mitchell. They have a
team that people are nobody talking about, the Cleveland Cavin Clebs.
(22:01):
And I'm sitting there saying that the Boston Celtics might
not even make it out of this series.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
It's a possibility.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
And Jared Allen has been out this whole series. And
if they get Jared Allen back in the make which
I think he he will play it.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Now.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
I think he's really been pushing these last games, but
he couldn't his elbow having issues. But You're right, they
really match up, These Caves match up. Well. It all
comes down to Darius Garland and Spider like Spot's gonna
get his buckets. He loves the playoffs, he loved these moments.
I'm actually changing my stance on Donovan Mitchell being a
Laker this summer. This series kind of making me a believer.
(22:36):
But the real question, Plaque is where is Jason Tatum?
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Because Jason, where is Jaylen Brown?
Speaker 3 (22:45):
No, no, no, Jaylen Brown. If you've been watching these playoffs,
Jaalleen Brown has shown up even in Game one.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Nineteen points is not enough. Nineteen points is not enough
with the aft support Zingers.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
He needs a score. Boar.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
My thing with Tatum is this bro he is giving
me Paul George Bobbes. And what I mean by that
is aesthetically he just looks like a yeah, he looked
like he just looks like you're quintessential athletic basketball player.
He's six to eight broad shoulders. But I think we'll Tatum.
Nobody wants to point it out, but if you really
watch him closely, he doesn't like contact. He doesn't like
(23:18):
the physicality. You rarely see Jason Tatum diff his shoulder
and just go to the rack and just bully guds
and punish gods like a Lebron James like a Zion Williamson.
Now that's why I say he gets me Paul George Bobes,
because he always lives for that tough step back. It's
like he shoots unnecessary tough shots and I'm not sure
you can really win a championship. We saw him flame
(23:39):
out against the Warriors a couple years ago in the finals.
Bad shots selection. That's what scares me the most. Even
despite Porzingis being out, who is their X factor? Because
he allowed him to space the floor and play five
out picking pop. But al Horfit is trying his best.
He's trying by alcoholic.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Seven years old man. Yeah, he in a seventeenth season.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Jaylen Brown, I feel like you don't know from night
to night if Jaylen Brown gonna give you twenty five
or eighteen or he's kind of sporadic some nights. But
the real, the real target. I feel like it's on Tatum.
Like I've been calling Tatum out. I'm Tatum in person.
He's a great kid man. We had dinner. Who was
at are punking together? He's the goat. Kids win the Duke.
I love Duke. Everybody know that I'm a duke guy.
(24:22):
I'm I'm kind of disappointed in Tatum because this has
to be the year. If it doesn't happen this year, they.
Speaker 6 (24:29):
Have a year and everybody's everybody's so concentrated on the
New York Knicks and the Bostonselves is getting to the
Eastern Common Finals. It might just be the Cleveland Capital
lives in the Indiana Pacers.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Wouldn't that be a wouldn't that be a wie man?
Speaker 1 (24:42):
That ain't gonna never happen?
Speaker 4 (24:43):
What you mean, never happened?
Speaker 6 (24:45):
A if they come back to the if the if
the Indiana Paces and the next comeback here game five
and the series is.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Two to two.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
Man Celtics lose this game, they might as well break
their team up. They lose this series. I mean, they
break the team up. If you can agree, I agree
the Cleveland Cab you gotta break your team up.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
Just you just sit there and say, oh, the Cleveland
cap Man Donovan Mitchell is on another planet right now.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
He may be on another planet.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
He bet now beat the Celtics Donovan Mitchell and d
Wade Mode right now.
Speaker 5 (25:17):
Hey, answer this instance. We on this series. If you
had to rank the players going into the series one
through five, give me the five best players in the series.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Tatum and Brown number one and two. Wrong, Yes, then
you put Donovan three and you have por Zingis is
better than anybody else on the Cavs. Uh Darius Garland.
I love his game, but he defers too much and
he's shaky from game to game and.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Before the series even start.
Speaker 6 (25:51):
I'm taking Donovan Mitchell any day of the week over
Jaylen Brown.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Oh they're both up, and they're both streaky, man, They're
both streaky guys.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Come on, man.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Time.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
The main reason why the Boston Celtics will not get
to the World Championship and win the World Championship, It's
not gonna be because of Jason Tatum. It's just because
he doesn't have the support that he needs to get there.
In this shoot guard and Jalen Brown.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
I'm telling you, Garrick White is a real Derek White
is a superstar some nights football.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
But he's coming off, epecially since he cut his hair out.
He's really really taking it to a whole nother level.
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Why can I ask you?
Speaker 4 (26:39):
This is balling?
Speaker 1 (26:42):
He is balling. Listen, they get one, they catch one
l from Cleveland. I think it was an aberration. Personally,
they shot well. I think Cleveland shot well. I don't.
I don't think they can continue to have the offensive
output that they did in that last game where they
were able to have that type of success.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
That's just the Celtics living three a thirty five.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah, And I don't think that for them.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Come down to Evan Mobley. He come down to Evan
Mogley for me.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
M hmm.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
If he can provide them double doubles, even if Allen
comes back. If if if Evan Moby is giving you
fifteen and twelve or fifteen to ten, you have a
strong chance if you're.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Cleveland, let's let's let's talk about this Mavericks Thundery, Can
I ask you one quick question, man?
Speaker 5 (27:32):
Who who are hiring cuffs? Oh jeez, oh yeah, holdsolds
going to the Suns.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
We took too long, Booty Holder, real.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Quick, La Laker Nation, don't stretch yourselves out like nation.
I know y'all listening right now. Listen, JJ Reddick, you
and bron a great broadcast, y'all, both great guys. Braun,
you and my guy JJ Reddick. No, he cannot be
the head coach of the Lakers, but listen, Davin Adaman
is the name. I like Michael Nori, the defensive coach
(28:04):
for the Timberwolves, but David Adaman the assistant coach, offensive mastermind.
He's the mastermind behind these demmer Nuggets offense, the way
they utilize joking. He can he can unlock Anthony David.
So I will say, here's what we're doing. We going
out and get David Adaman. TJ. We're getting David Adaman.
J J Reddick, you can't join the staff we're gonna
(28:24):
bring back.
Speaker 6 (28:27):
So JJ Reddick does eventually being the head coach of
this Los Angeles Lakers team. Can we all agree that
Lebron is pulling the strings in the front.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Off I can't confirm that. I can't deny that. I'm
just I'm just saying you didn't let me finish the
coaching staff. So we got David Adaman is the head coach.
We got, We got Rondo on the staff. Player development
want to add Rondo, and we're gonna keep Phil Handy.
We're gonna bring Phil Handy back. I would love to
see them get a veteran OG like a Terry Stott,
(28:56):
like a OG offensive guy. They need to get that,
and they can add me to the coaching staff. Man.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Oh oh, that's that's why you need to finish right
out the end. You're not add TJ to the to
the coaching staff.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Ye, you go together.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
We sit behind the bitch right behind.
Speaker 6 (29:13):
He speaking of the speaking of so if they add
you to the coaching staff, you're gonna need that extra
path that they put that on the seat.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Like Phil Jackson, it's all about.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Ask your question, DJ, because I got I was saying,
speaking of basketball, my son just got home. He had
twenty three points. We won, like eighty six to seventeen. Yeah,
twenty he put up twenty three.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Give him crew great and.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
We contendue, but were playing up in eleven U.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Oh yeah, it was a mad parent.
Speaker 5 (29:51):
It was a That game was a running clock in
the second quarter. Now they conceded, they quit. They quit
with like seven minutes left the other team quick.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
Like I said, I coached those a dudes for so
many years running my basketball league here man, and that
is the best age group to watch and enjoy the moment.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
We're gonna come out your way. We got a a cuffs.
Our team is loaded, bro, we load.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
You gotta come to you gotta come to the East
coast coming North Carolina, Florida.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
So we can play we can play them. Uh, we
can play them fifth graders that should be in the
seventh grade.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
They thirteen years old.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Yeah, it's a lot of yankies, you see, man, it's
a lot of yankie stuff going on to get these trophies.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Hey, before we let you go, cuffs and shouts out
the crew. By the way, crew crew, Hushman's out of
He will be a superstar in the crew. He just
got that mentality. Man, got that dog mentality. He won
it real bad. I found that out the hard way
playing him in Matten while we was on vacation one time.
But I digress. Let me let me throw this one
out at you. Cuffs before we let you go. Uh.
(30:51):
Shannon Sharp came out and had some interesting words and listen,
I'm gonna get TJ. I'm gonna get you and and
Plexus take on it to wrap the show up. But
I want to get your your take on it before
we go to break cuffs. He called him jealous. He
said that that Shaq was jealous, and Shack's response was,
(31:12):
as only Shaq could do in Shack fashion. I mean
if there was one time where there was a with
all this battle wrapping and all these these different beefs
that are going on, it had to have been the worst,
worst calling of smoke that Shannon Sharp has done. This
(31:33):
had to be the worst try to match up on
some beef stuff that anyone could have done. What was
your take on how it unfolded on on this whole
beef thing between you know, Shannon and Shack.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
I'm gonna tell you what's going on right now. I
blame all of this on Cat Wims. Cat Wims when
he did the park, he dropped the bomb. Like everybody.
It seems like everybody. I don't know what's going on
out here in the averosphere, but everybody is taking shots
this track. You know, Drake is up like four to
two right.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
Now, three two in that series again you light skin, bro,
not don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that,
do not do not put him up for to do
not do that. That that see right there, A lot
of people might not have caught what you did, but
you tried.
Speaker 5 (32:17):
To throw one go ahead and get okay.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
From another straight Look tea, man, come on, now, I
ain't going I ain't gonna just sit back and just
let it go like it up stretch. We can't. We
gotta stick together, man, Come on ahead, cops.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
God, you see how Levardes failed for that.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
You see how he just fel Yeah yeah that yeah,
all right, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
That's what I'm saying. Like Shack Man, I shacked my
guy man. I saw him out in veiggas empty deternament
listening Shack Man, y'all too old for this, bro All
y'all got too old, y'all. He'ps hurting your legs, your
joints and sword, you know, y'all drinking metal musal icy
hot like bro. Cut it out, man. Let the young
boys have that's my opinion. Let the young boys do this.
But the guys is too old born, they too rich,
(33:04):
they got too much money. That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I mean, both for real, though, didn't Shock. I mean
Shannon came for Shack. I mean, if you're gonna come
for you, dude, you can't come for dude.
Speaker 5 (33:12):
Not expect him to have a shack notw line though
she's not one m v p uh. Shack was a
better player than Yo Kitchen. Shaq should have won way
more m vps than he won. It's a cross, so so.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Why did that?
Speaker 1 (33:28):
He didn't?
Speaker 4 (33:28):
So who won the m v ps in the years
that Shack did not?
Speaker 5 (33:31):
Steve nash got a few.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Duncan got one yet, Steve.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
Come on, man, Steve Nashold had him MVPs over shocked.
No way, no how, Tim grown man.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
I just think Shaq is salty deep down. He's not
salty in a bad way. He just see exactly get
a gender that's out here where it's like, yok has
got three m VP's already, right, Lebron played twenty one years,
only got four. It's a it's a jendit that's going on.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
So I'm gonna be hold on, hold on, play, hold on.
I'm gonna let y'all. I'm a let y'all jump on
it after this break. But this was cuff right here. Yeah,
we're gonna bring it back and we're gonna run it
back with y'all. Y'all gonna get to say y'all say
on it. But first let's say this, cuffs. What are
your predictions for for the games today? Real quick before
(34:16):
we let you go, and then we're gonna let you
get get with it and tell people where they can
check you out when you're talking about what you're doing,
your talk about.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I got, I got the MAVs, I got the Math
going back home. Kyrie gonna wake up Luca, he's ailing
a little bit knee and ankle. I got, I got
the mav winning that. It's gonna be upset row though,
Uh and them Celtics. I think the Celtics gonna regain
that momentum everybody expecting Cleveland and win. That crowd gonna
be crazy in Cleveland. But I think Tatum gonna wake
up because we calling them out. All right, Yeah, you
can check me out. I'm gonna be on the live
(34:45):
stream tonight on Playbackage playback dot tv, slash Cup the legend.
I do live streams pretty much every playoff game be
partnered with the league. Pass in the NBA is pretty dope.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
Make sure you send me the link, man, so I
can send it out to the people.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Man.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Yeah, I'll sing it to it.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
I'll send it and yeah, I told you sent it
to me last week and he didn't. You see how
he did me.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
I'm gonna just I'm gonna put it in the group text.
I did think that you was trying to get on
the show, TJ. But you know that's an elite group
of people that jump on in the stream. So you know,
I don't know if you will lead enough. That's that's right.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
We haven't stress.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
Yeah, it's so much easier watching these games, so much easier.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
That cuts the legend. Make sure y'all check him out. Man,
that's t J. Hitchman's eyes Plexico Burst. I'm LeVar Rington.
This is up on Game. We're gonna wrap the show
with continuing conversation on this Shannon Sharp, Shaquille O'Neill beef
that took place in media and and and on social media.
We'll be right backed up on game.
Speaker 2 (35:45):

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Oh okay, what's the difference. But between me and you,
that's a song you just brought us back into and
we're going to talk about that. Continue with this Shannon Sharp,
Shaquille O'Neil little beef that took plays. Listen. We're in
the tyrack dot com studios. If you missed anything, just
make sure you go research or search where it is
that you get your podcast from. It'll go up shortly
(36:20):
after the show. Yeah, just look up up on Game,
make sure you rate, subscribe, review the podcast, and again
search up on Game wherever it is you get your
podcasts from. Jonas Knox will be coming up immediately after
this show. Don't worry. It'll be pretty good. It probably
won't be as good as this show was, but you
know what, Jonas is pretty good, so you will probably
want to stay locked in. You want to stay locked
(36:42):
in and listen to the show. By the way, Hey,
make sure y'all let Jonas know I was taking shots
at him too, by the way, go go to him
on Twitter at Jonas Knox Fellas. All right, before we
wrap it up for today again, Shock Shock had hit
things to say. Shannon said that he was jealous that
(37:03):
that you know that Jokic got the you know, got
the MVP awards so many times and and Shaq only
got it once. Shaq basically told him when I when
I did my research on him, on you, Shannon, that
you were like the fifty first best player rated in
the in the league that you play in, and I'm
(37:27):
often mentioned in the top ten. In the argument so
he basically said, you took me sticking up for for
Alexander as jealousy. O'Neil wrote, he said, shows how smart
you are, Woo shot fired and how you say anything
just to get clicks. Now this is your boy, TJ.
You real close with Shannon Sharp. I know that y'all
(37:49):
y'all super cool, super tight. Is this clickbait that took place?
Is I mean, it seemed like Shaq really really shut
him down, like like you need to approach.
Speaker 5 (37:59):
Me, meet me and Shannon cool, but we not like
we not boys like that. We cool, okay, And this
is thing like like TJ wish this this is the
thing though, God hit us. I believe SGA should have
won MVP. Shack to me is a better player than
Yo Kic. MVPs doesn't matter. The Shannon has a podcast
(38:24):
where they discussed what's relevant in the world of sports
or whatever's going on, and so Shaq took what Shannon
said possibly the wrong way. I don't think shackage when
you're as good as Shack, you're not jealous anybody, you
know if you go off of shacks h description what
he said. Shoot, it ain't too many guys that can
(38:46):
say anything about Shaq because there's not too many guys
that can measure up to what Shack did and what
he was as a player.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Shannon did take a shot out him though, said if
he had the work ethic that that Yo Kic had,
that he would have had more MVP people.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Pullip said that about Shaq for years and that.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
People and people have said about the Joker have.
Speaker 5 (39:06):
A great I mean, oh, man, if Shack had really
worked and kept his weight down, Shack could have been
Shaq is one of the best players that ever played basketball.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
No qualifiers, no Shack a Shack.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
This narrative about oh Shack didn't work hard. Listen, man,
nobody gets to where they want to go and be
as good as Shack and Shannish without a work ethic.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
You nobody.
Speaker 5 (39:33):
You're not a top ten player the history of your
sport without a work ethic. That's just not gonna happen.
Nobody's that good.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
You're just not working like Kobe and Michael Jordan and
guys like that. I mean, which is there's no there's
no there's no beef with that. I mean, Shack is Shack,
you know what I mean. I just I thought it
was interesting that Shannon took a shot out in plex
and and then they came back the way that it
came back. Did you did you don't do as much work?
Make more money up?
Speaker 5 (39:58):
Did y'all see Shack made a this record though? Did
y'all see that he did? He made a record?
Speaker 1 (40:03):
Bro, I believe it best best rapper, best basketball player.
Speaker 6 (40:07):
Shaq was a better player because you can say Check
was a better player than the Joker is right now
because in our era there were a lot better basketball
players in the NBA at the time.
Speaker 5 (40:19):
They got it too.
Speaker 6 (40:20):
So you look at a qem O lajah one, and
you look at Dirk and you look at Steve Nash,
some of these guys that wanted MVV Kobe that Shaq
could have won, but the league was full of superstars
then phenomenal generational basketball players.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
But I love Dundaga. Shack is my man. I love
to death.
Speaker 6 (40:40):
But I think that he was a little He said
he want to keep it real, but everybody knows that
as you should have win it. But I thought that
he was out of bounds when he did the interview.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
With the Jokers about Alexander.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
Yeah, the man faith that's out of pocket.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
It is what it is. SHA always be the man.
That's all I'm gonna say. Hey, listen, y'all enjoy the
rest of y'all Saturday. That's t J. Huschman is out
as plexco Burst. I'm LeVar Rington. You've been put up
on game Fox Sports Radio.
