It's just me and my dog this morning, mister Burres
and again plaques for myself every single morning. Now, it's

(01:43):
an overcast then, and it's weird though, Like eleven thirty
twelve o'clock the sun comes out.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Global warming is a real thing. It has been overcast
three four weeks straight. Eleven thirty twelve a clock, clear skies.
Crazy man, y'all going through it. Man, It's absolutely beautiful
out here on the East Coast to day TJ.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Not a cloud in the sky, not a cloud in
this guy. Man woke up at six o'clock this morning.
I've been making fresh juices and smoothies and ass ii
bulls until about an hour ago. And man, got my
fresh juices in me, my celery detalks and my ginger
and turmeric. Man, I'm ready to go. Man, It's a

(02:29):
beautiful day out here on the East coast.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Bro I'm assuming or I'm hoping, our beautiful day will come,
will come later on. I know.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
For for the Dallas Mavericks, their beautiful day, man, did
it come, and it came early and it stayed beautiful
the way they went into Minnesota, and it was embarrassing,
I like everybody else thought. Okay, Timber was that he

(03:00):
gets swept. And we're gonna get into at that, y'all.
Y'all remember now the up on game down on game
all the picks we did last week, right, We're gonna
see who comes out on top of those when we
get to those later on with mister Isaac layin crime.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
But we'll talk about that later.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
But the way the Dallas Mavericks took ahold of that
game early, Lucas says, you know what, I'm gonna put
y'all in your place, and I'm gonna show y'all why
I'm one of, if not the best young player in
the game. I'm I'll score you on the first quarter myself.
And so now we have the NBA Final set Dallas
Mavericks Boston Celtics this Thursday.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Game One.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Thoughts on this matchup and also how the Maverick just
came out in game six and says, you know what,
this is it. I'm sorry in game five and said,
this is it, you guys, It's over for y'all.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Y'all go home now.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Man, I mean, I mean, I'm pretty sure everybody else
thought it was gonna be a more competitive game than
it was. Man, But you know what, I thought that
the way that Luca Doncters came out in that game,
it was basically saying, listen, I'm gonna put this team
on my back end, and I'm y'all gonna ride this
horse all the way to the Western Conference Finals. That's

(04:19):
basically what he did. Man, I thought he was gonna
end with sixty points. I mean, listen, when he's making
shots thirty forty foot us pulling from the logo, there's
no one to defend that.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
There's nothing that you can do.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Even I thought Minnesota did a great job of making
the adjustment on defense where they was making him set
the peanut the pick and roll higher when he was
coming across half court and making them make a decision.
But man, when you pull up from thirty and forty
feet and you got twenty points by the first quarter,

(04:56):
I mean, there's nothing that they really could do to
really stop Bluke, to stop Luker. But then on the
flip side, Kyrie had a quiet thirty six. Him and
Luca ended up with thirty six points and seventy two
points between them. And when they said Kyrie had thirty points, like,
you didn't even see it because you were just so

(05:17):
in awe of the of the performance by Luca and
you're just saying to yourself, like, this man is smoking hot.
I mean, there was nothing that they could do that
was trying to get the ball out of his hand
with double teams, and it really didn't matter.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
PJ.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Washington came in, knocked down a couple of threes, and
obviously Kyrie was was scoring at the same pace that
Luca was, but in the fashion that Luca did it.
Nobody was even paying a catching attention to Tyler Kyrie
at the time. And so now we are in the
NBA Finals and I'm looking at this match up and
I'm saying to myself that, you know what I did

(05:53):
not I did not want to believe the height of
how good Luca really was. So it was my first
time really watching him play. Every single game of this series,
and I said to myself, this young man is the
real deal. There's no doubt about it. The way he
creates space and slows the game game down. Everybody tries

(06:14):
to speed him up, and he is just so efficient
shooting the basketball from everywhere on the basketball court.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
And so I'm looking at this series.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
I believe it's gonna be a guard series, but obviously
between Jason Tatum, Luca Donci's, Kyrie Irvin, and Jalen Brown.
But I think I'm gonna give Dallas the ads because
I believe that Porzingis has to be healthy. If he's
not healthy, then I do not believe that thirty seven
year old al Hofford in the seventeenth season is gonna

(06:49):
be able to hold up against Lively and Gafford. I
think that's gonna be the advantage in the series. Is
in the paint is where Boston is going to struggle,
because even if Pausingis plays, I believe he's a stretch
five where he can shoot the three, Gaffer will have
to defend it on the perimeter. But I believe that

(07:11):
this kid, Derek Lively, man, he is going to be
a problem in the paint for Boston and I just
don't think that that matching between him and now Horfoot,
that's gonna be the edge for the Dallas Matters winning
the World championship.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
You know, when you look at this, it's also lively.
We know he didn't miss a shot, but him and
Gafford all their buckets are off libs, right, they're off libs.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
And so I truly believe the Boston pick and roll.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
They're gonna switch everything because they have the size where
they can switch everything. Now, the liability may be in
our hurt Horford when he switches on Kyrie, But does
Luca plays at a pace and you spoke on this
earl he does and get sped up. But is he

(08:03):
quick enough to exploit our Horford on a consistent basis?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
We know he's good enough, can he exploit.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
That mismatch, because that's what they're gonna run pick and
rolls and try to get the mismatch. I don't see
Boston giving up that lob. They're just gonna switch it.
They're not gonna play it how Minnesota. They're not gonna
drop because they don't run go bear switching up on Luca.
They gonna switch everything. And if they switch everything if
our Horford can guard or nobody's gonna guard Luca, if

(08:33):
they can slow Luca down and make it hard for him.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Now you have a ball game.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Because does Dallas now get a ball to Kyrie and
say we're gonna get in that same pick and roll.
Now switch off on Kyrie. Now you're at a huge
disadvantage if you're the Boston Celtics. I believe Porzingi is
gonna come back.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
He hurd his CAF. I believe it was April.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
I want to say it was April twenty seven, so
he'll have closed six weeks of rest. I'm sure he's
been doing his rehab. I believe he's gonna play, and
that's gonna be a huge addition for the Boston Celtics.
We're on different sides of this. What I I honestly

(09:15):
don't see how the Boston Celtics lose this. Man, I
said it. See I don't. I said it last week.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Man.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Defensively, for Boston, everybody knows that Drew Holiday Jalen Brown
are two of the best perimeter defenders in this league.
We know that, but Jason Tatum is going to have
to play some defense.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Jason Tatum plays defense.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Now, I understand that, but he's going to have to
play defense to a certain degree that he's not used
to playing at this intensity. Because I believe that Kyrie
and Luca are going to put Jason Tatum in the PIC,
that's no problem. What I'm saying is is gonna cost
Boston on the offense to the end because he is

(10:02):
going to have to defend and defend at a premium. Okay,
you put him into pick and roll with Luca and
Kyrie Irvin constantly. It's going to hurt him on the
office end for the Celtics because they need him to
be the league and score every single game.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Answer this now, so we know offensively, it's Kyrie and Luca.
When you look at the Boston Celtics, they have four
perimeter defenders that are way above average and jew Holliday,
Jaylen Brown, Derek White, and Jason Tatum. So two of

(10:45):
those four are going to guard Luca and Kyrie. Now,
we know that at times when you screen and switches
may take place, but for the most part, he's not
going to exclusively have to guard Kyrie and Luca. And
if they see him out, you seeking him out like
he's a bum. Or something on defense. He could play
defense and if it does take away from his offensive game.

(11:08):
This is why you play sports. It's such an ultimate
team game because if they want to seek you out
and try to wear you out defensively, that means Jalen
Brown is resting, or that means Derek White is resting.
So now the onus is on them to pick the
load up offensively. And so you have to be okay
with that and say, my teammate is gonna have my
back one on the other side of the floor.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
And so I'm rolling with the Celtics. I said it
last week.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
I don't see they have the advantage now when the
bigger question is this, and we can probably get to
this when we come back. Who has the advantage of
the duos?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Is it easy Tatum and Brown or is it Kyrie
and Luca? That's easy, really, that's easy.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Come on, man, So okay, ask you these two questions.
You want to hit this after the break, what you
want to do, how you want to get down.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
We're gonna We're gonna let you think about your answer, because.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
You just said we're gonna let you do that's real easy,
And I'm gonna tell you why okay easy so so
Miss mister Burris is gonna tell us what for y'all.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I don't know, Man, y'all watch Plax on the cart

That's safety runs First dot Com. And before we went
to break, pose a question to Plexico and he acts
like it was such an easy question to answer. So

(14:06):
better duo Tatum and Brown or Luca and Kyrie? What
you said, I need this, I need this reasoning?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Okay, is is Jason is uh? Is Jyalen Brown a
better basketball player than Kyriever.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Basketball? He's not a better offensive player.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
No, is he a better basketball player than Kyrie Iver?

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Some will say yes when you when you consider you
got to play on both sides of the court, it's
not just an offensive game.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
I understand what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
But if you had to pick between the two, which
guy would you choose, Jalen.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Brown or Kyrie Irver? It depends on what I have
on my team.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Being asked you a question, I would consider having Jalen
Brown because offensively, He's not gonna score like Kyrie, but
he's gonna give you way more on the defensive end,
way more.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Okay, So who's the better basketball player, Jason Tatum or
Luka Dodge.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Some will say Luca, Others will say Tator. I mean
many will many many will say Luca. But again, when
you gotta play, when you have when you have to play,
if you.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Wanted to start a basketball team, would you take Jason
Tatum or would you take Luca Dontas?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
I would probably I'm good with either one.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
But if I had the first pick and I had
to choose, But if I had a pick and they
had with you probably take Luca. You probably take Luka.
I'm gonna be I'll be I'll be I'll be I'll
be impartial and i'll be fair.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Okay, you'll take Luca. Yeah, you take Luca. Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
So how many people in the world would say would
take Jayden Brown over or not?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Not? Not many? But plex you got to look at
it from this perspective. I'm looking I'm looking at him
for a basketball perspective.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Luca, And but see, all we think about is the
offensive side of the game. That's all you're thinking about play.
Luca and Kyrie are better offensive players than Tatam and Brown.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
They're a better backcourt.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
They are not They are not better defensively, and it's
not even close. You can say it's somewhat close on offense,
plays defense, no defense? Man, Come on, man, don't play
no defense. He Kyrie is my Kyrie, my height he
not even your height?

Speaker 1 (16:35):
He in the NBA? What does that? What does my
man spun well playing n so the Muggsy Bowls?

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Listen, listen when you six two and you you got
to guard them boys as your height. I mean, there
are better offensive players, but when you go the complete game,
jewe are Kyrie and Luca what they bring to the
table offensive? Does it supersede what Brown and Tatum bring

(17:04):
to the game defensively along with their offense. So that
that's why I think it's a question to be asked,
because if I don't believe it's as easy as some
may think. Yeah, they're better offensive players, but defensively, Uh,
Luke don't want to play no defense. He doesn't play defense,
and Kyrie will play it, but he doesn't want to

(17:26):
play it either.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Whereass may what you.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Mean, Kyrie is a lot better defendant than you giving
him credit for.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
When have we when when have you seen Kyrie really
get after it on defense? Well, he plays defense to me,
maybe five six, seven possessions in a game when the
game really matters. I'm just saying, I'm we've never We've
never had You've never heard anybody bring Kyrie name up

(17:54):
and say defense. It's about how he handles the ball,
his ability to score, his ability to score.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
With both hand. That's Kyrie.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Yet and still yet and still you just said Lucas
plays no defense. Kyrie plays no defense. But yet and
still they beat the Clippers. They beat Okay c and
they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves three series in which they

(18:23):
were underdogs in every series.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
They took down the number one seed.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
They beat the Los Angeles Clippers, which they were not
favored to win, and they beat Corn Soda Timble.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
It doesn't matter. Kawhi Leonard didn't play. Okay.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Now, now to beat Oklahoma City and number one, see
what and that's Okay Timberwolves. You got to I'm not
taking discrediting what they've done, But what I'm saying is
if they played no.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Defense, then how they win in basketball game?

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Because you have a team full of guys that's all
they do was played defense. You got two stars that
played no defense, and you have thirteen others. That's all
they play is and that's what's gonna be favorite to
win this series. The Boston Celtics are gonna win the series.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
And that's why.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
That's why Tam Hardaway Junior stopped That's why they stopped
playing him because he's not a defensive player. They're like,
we can't have three none defenders on the court, so
we everybody we put on the court is gonna play
defense except those two.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
And they were. They were so.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Good offensively defensively didn't really matter like they were so
good offensively every every game except Game four, Every game
except Game four, they were lights out offensive.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Playoff series man the road for the Denver, for the
for the for Minnesota Dallas Mavericks to get to where
they are to be the Clippers OKC and Minnesota tells
me that they are a better basketball team then the
Boston Celtics in the route that day path made it

(20:04):
to the NBA Finals.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Are you telling you right now, hey, you want to
make another wager on this finals?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
What you want to do? You know? What I mean
to the to the American people. As y'all know, two
years ago, I still have yet to receive my shoes.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
So we can go. We can go doubles. I want
to We can go double or nothing. You don't have
to put anything in the mail or you gotta put
you in the mail. Which one you want to do?
Which one you want to do? I want to give
you the ones that I owe you first, so then.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I can give them back or give you whatever you
want back exactly.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
I just think that that comparison is a little closer
than people think, because I think if that question is
asked alright, many are going to just say, oh, Luke
and Kyrie, because all we do is think about the
offense side of the game. And it's not football. It's
not football where you just played one side basketball, you
are playing both sides.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
We're not talking about just the offensive side of the
basketball game. We're talking about the game entirety as a whole.
You look at who the batteries have beaten right there
alone tells you. I don't think that the Boston Celtics

(21:25):
would have beaten a clip of team or a Minnesota
team or OKC to get to the NBA Finals. They
are a lot better defender Kyrie is than what you say.
I'll give it to you. For Luca, Luca doesn't play a
whole lot of defense. I listen, I saw him get
a transition still in defense, transition defense.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
I couldn't believe it because.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
I think it's the first time I see him get
a still in transition defense. On a fast break the
other team going down, he got a steal. I was like, Wow,
But I'm telling you, Kyrie pays a lot more defense
than you get them credited for.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
I'm telling you right now.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
And I'm gonna give Jason Kidd a ton of credit
this Minnesota series. Man, they packed the paint. We're gonna
make you shoot jumpers. We're gonna try to limit the
impact of Anthony Edwards. And they locked in. They locked
in as a team defensively, and so you have to
give them a ton of credit. But I just I
truly believe that comparison is a lot closer than many think.

(22:25):
We're gonna see what hollow Isaac long Crown on the updates.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
What you got for us? I love?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Well? What I got is plaques. Also owes me some shoes.
Remember what hollow co do that warror Celtics NBA Finals
twenty twenty two.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Talk to me, my love, I don't remember that conversation.
You gotta pull some tape on that load.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
I know I just made it up.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I was hoping.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
To try.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
Perhaps I could hit up sacrament So King's head coach
Mike Brown Lord knows he can afford it now because
multiple outlets reported overnight the Sacamento King's head coach has
agreed to a new contract extension through the twenty twenty
six twenty seven campaign, and it'll be worth eight point
five million dollars a year for Mike Brown Right now
in the WNBA, it's the first ever meeting at the

(23:20):
pro level between star rookies Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark
as Reese's Chicago sky Trail at Clark's Indiana Fever twenty
two to twenty With seven and a half minutes left
play in the second quarter, Reese has two points and
two rebounds. Clark has six points, three rebounds, and two

(23:40):
assists for the presently one to eight Indiana Fever. Coming
up tonight at a PM Eastern Game six of the
NHL's Eastern Conference Finals from Florida, with Panthers leading the
New York Rangers three games to two in Game five
of the Western Conference Finals. Yes on Friday night, the
Edmondon Oilers won a Dallas three to one, so the
Oilers lead that series three games two. In Major League

(24:01):
Baseball late Friday night, the New York Yankees won at
San Francisco six to two. But the story Aaron Judge.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
He had two more home runs.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
Yeap, he was the first of the majors to twenty
home runs. And listen to his stats, fellas for the
month of May alone, fourteen home runs, twenty seven RBI,
and twenty five extra base hits in the Mary Mary
month of May. That's the most by a Yankee in
a calendar month since Joe DiMaggio in July of nineteen

(24:29):
hundred and thirty seven.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
What's you that bull was on a tell plex. I
was just telling them earlier, we're on break. You remember
when they were boring Aaron Judge for not playing well
all the interseason. The fans, yep, it's crazy, but they
bowing the man for not playing well.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
And he hears seven records in a month of May.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Well, and you know, you know what it's all about, man,
what have you done for me lately?

Speaker 4 (24:57):
It's crazy, right, they forget what he had just accomplished
last year. The season starts and he's not playing well
out the gay and they start bowing him.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Boy oh boy, I tell you.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Now, whether it be any booze for the Chicago Bears
number one pick Tayler Williams, number nine pick Roma doon Ja,
they will be this year's team on hard knocks.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Do you how do you see this?

Speaker 4 (25:25):
The number one pick, There's already going to be a
spotlight on him, There's already going to be pressured on
him to perform. Do you believe having hard knocks there
makes it makes it a brighter light, makes it even
harder for him, or he should be able to handle it.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I mean, I don't really think so. I mean, you know,
people have been saying, you know, for the last two
years that he is the best you know quarterback, you know,
drafty or hopeful that we have seen in the last
twenty or thirty years from a ten Allen standpoint. So
I don't believe that, you know, adding the hard knocks

(26:04):
you know to the Chicago Bears is going to you know,
highlight him any more that he isn't already has. I mean,
everybody is expecting him to go in Chicago and do
great things. So, uh, one of the one of the
good things that they have done with Ryan Poles and
the staff is they have surrounded him with great talent.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
You know.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Obviously bringing in Keenan Allen is going to help me.
A veteran guy, you know, DJ More three or I
think four straight thousand yard seasons, and you bring in
Rome a Duz who you know really well. So I
really think that the wide receiver room that he has
is going to you know, accelerate his growth and his

(26:47):
development as a quarterback. I mean, I really do, because
he has some guys that he can really lean on,
especially Keenan Allen, you know, ten eleven year veteran, now
what he is, and you know, surrounding him and bringing
bringing rom with dudes in who I think is gonna
be a great young wide receiver Nofice, DJ Moore you
know has to have some success and you know, you

(27:07):
know he can. You know, Uh, he's a really good
young wide receiver. So I just think with Kleid Williams, uh,
you know, there's there's trust me there's gonna be some
rough days. There's gonna be some some bad patches. I
saw Dj Moore say you the other day that they're
going through with hell and back. You know, he's not
gonna come out the gate and throw for you know,

(27:28):
four thousand yards, forty forty five hundred yards, whatever the
case may be. Did you know that Chicago Bears never
had a four thousand yard passing quarterback. That's great, never
in and in organizational history, they've never had a quarterback
over four thousand yards.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
So I believe Kaylen will be the first one.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
And man, they better getting the domer. Is the weather
that bad or is this the quarterback play that bad?

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Man?

Speaker 3 (27:53):
I'm just telling you, come October, come Halloween. That weather
and that run and snowing that they called it the
Windy City for a reason. I've played in that building, man,
where we wived on a Saturday and it was the
man the sleep in the ice was hitting the side
of the bus and we're like, man, we gotta go

(28:13):
out here and playing this and we really needed to
win this game.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
And the field was so muddy.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
I mean, it's just it's just it's a bad place
for quarterback and why she was gonna Listen, you remember
Muse and Muhammad came out a few years ago and
he said that why Receive was built Chicago to die
and to die and everybody was killing them in the media.
But it's a tough place to play. Even you would

(28:39):
think that Jake Cutler and and even Brandon Marshall is
some of the success that they had that Chicago Bears
have never had a four thousand yard pastor in team history.
So that's I believe that's one, uh you know, milestone
that he's going to eclipse. But as far as him,
uh you know, coming into his rookie year, people are
really a lot.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Man.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
They're respecting this man to change the face of this franchise,
and I bet it's gonna be a lot of pressure
over but a good thing about it. They surrounding it
with great talent, So I think he'll be just fine.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Yeah, I'm with you, man.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
If I'm part of the Bears organization and if I'm
a player, I think it's great. It really is because
it's gonna you are going to be in the spotlight.
I believe the Bears are going to make the playoffs,
and so when you get put in this spotlight.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
All it does is bring Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
It doesn't bring attention to you, but playing sports is
gonna bring attention to you. Being on national TV, playing
professional sports is going to bring attention to you. And
so we all know the Kayleb Williams and the Keenan
Allens and the DJ Moores and Rongs and the high
draft picks. This is the opportunity for guys that aren't

(29:54):
as well known to introduce themselves because we know there's
gonna be some storylines with two, three four players whoever
it may be, or however many it may be, where.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Hard Knocks wants to spotlight these guys.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
And so you start to root for these players because
these three or four players, their path to making the
team is going to be difficult and hard, but if
they make it, they naturally are going to have a
fan base that will always root for him. So from
that perspective, I like it. The Bears are a popular

(30:31):
pick to do well. Let's put them in a spotlight
early on Hard Knocks. And so for me, I don't
see I don't see the negativity or anything negative that
can come from this. We all know we're gonna be
on Hard Knocks we know they're gonna be cameras around.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
If you think the head.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Coach was on Hard Knocks when the coach had it,
If I'm not mistaken, ibra Flus was an assistant with
the coach when they were so he's familiar with it.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Now. You know, there's always gonna be people on. I
don't like this, you know they're intrude.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
On our privacy, But I believe it's gonna it's must
CTV because of everything you just said about Cayler Williams.
He's the best number one pick to come into the
league and however many years, decades, whatever you want to
call it, and so just to see how he's gonna
go about his business, how he operates. There will be

(31:25):
people that don't watch Hard Knocks on a regular basis.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
They're gonna watch it.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Chicago is a huge media market and so just all
those things.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
When you think about it, was man, could it disrupt
the team? Possibly?

Speaker 4 (31:43):
But you only let it disrupt you if you don't
understand once the camera's gonna be there, you can't change
up who you are. That's the thing God's gonna Oh man, wait,
is it a mic around? You know how you look
up above your heads and a mic around you looking
for cameras. He's got to be yourself. You gotta be
yourself and hope you're portrayed in the way that you

(32:04):
want to be portrayed, because you know, certain guys.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Don't like the way they've been portrayed.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
I remember one you remember the one with uh, what's
the receiver that went to Baylor, that played with the
Cleveland Browns when Aaron hard knocks and Hugh Caudy mented
off his last name Coleman, and that that.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
That the interaction that he had with Hugh.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
You remember that, and that painted him in a bad light,
but it was it was more so the way he
went into that. Meaning he's a first round pick and
you it just so many things. If you're a player
on the Friends, you're gonna gain fans. So for me,
I like it. For the Bears, I said it weeks ago.
I'm picking them to be a wild card playoff team.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
I will tune in for sure, and so.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
It will be access to the Chicago Bears that we
hadn't seen because you know, I don't believe for a
lot of people in the front office, they don't like
this type of stuff.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
You know, but.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
I'm going to tune in. I'm going to tune in.
This is good for Chicago. When when is the last
time I mean Levy Smith, but just just Chicago period.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
The Bulls ain't direct since Michael Jordan.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
Let I mean, this is exciting times in this city
is Chicago.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
I gotta disagree with you, man, everything that you just said,
I gotta disagree with you because I don't believe that
the Chicago business the playoffs this year. Hey, We're need
to detroyit Lines and in the division and I'm taking
the wild card Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers
to finish second in this division. I just like, I believe.

(33:42):
I just think that Jordan Jordan Love is on his
way to do something special.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
When have we seen?

Speaker 5 (33:50):
No?

Speaker 4 (33:50):
And I agree with you, but every year I like
the Packers. I like Jordan Love. Now I don't like
I love them. They're in the playoffs. But when have
you seen a team win seven games and get the
first pick and not only improved, but improving every facet
on both sides of the ball.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
I just think that Green baij gonna get up to
a better start than what they got off last year.
Jordan Love was playing lightsith football the last eleven weeks
of the season. He's still and he's still through the
thirty two touchdown second most in the league, forty one
hundred yards. I just think that he's going to be
even better in year two than it was last year.

(34:28):
And if he's better than he was last year, we're
talking about almost five thousand yard passing and nobody is
talking about what this young man is doing because everybody's
talking about Caleb Caleb Williams and Jared goff Wit the contract,
and you know all these other quarterbacks around the league.
But I'm telling you right now, this kid, Jordan Love,

(34:51):
I think, man, he's going to be the real deal.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
Oh he is the real I just you win seven games,
you get the first pick, and Kayler Williams just had
a camera. He's been in a spotlight for years. So
this ain't gonna be this is this is child's play
for Kayler Williams. He's been in the spotlight for the
last three, four or five years, and so for me,

(35:14):
that's gonna be the easy part. I just like what
the Bears are doing. I'm excited. I look forward to it.
I think it's good for the Chicago Bears. We will
see if they think it's good for the Chicago Bears.
And about what six weeks time, we'll see maybe some
of the cameras that be out here in old California
getting has it guys getting ready for training camp. You
might see your boy in that thing here and there.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Who knows.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
I don't even know. No, no, I don't want to
do that, but you never know. But we'll take a break.
We'll be right back up on Game Fox Sports Radio.

wherever you get your podcasts, and you'll see this show
posted right after we get off the air. First hours
almost soberplex but before we close out the hour, the
Kansas City Chiefs they visit the White House and then
one of their players is in trouble with the law.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
I don't know if you if you saw that.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
No, So Isaiah Buggs, I believe his name is. He
had a house in Birmingham, Alabama, and I guess it's
his property. Nobody is no longer occupying the property, uh huh.
And they find two dogs chained up with no food,

(36:59):
no water. They're malnourished, one pit bull on one rock. Well,
at least that's what they said the breeds of the
dogs were. And so he was arrested for animal cruelty.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
At the White House. I don't know, no, none to no. Oh, okay,
I don't know if he was.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
He turned himself in, but the property wasn't occupied and
I read where yes it was his property, those aren't
his dogs, but because it was his property, he was arrested.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
I mean, it's a.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
It's a big deal because the chiefs are the chiefs.
They were visiting the White House, and just before the
visit of the White House, this story comes out.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
And so.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
When you let's go back to when you wanted the
Super Bowl, did y'all visit the White House? I'm sure
you did correct, of course we did.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
How was that take the viewers and the viewers the
listeners behind the scenes on that visit, and it was
it was great.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Man went to the White House and you know, George
Bush was the president at the time, and uh, just
you know, just walking through the whole, you know, the
whole building and just seeing the paintings, like these oil
paintings of on the wall of every president that was
on the wall. And it was just you know, talking

(38:25):
to you know, Secret Service and them telling us, you know,
all the stories and you know what the day is
like and you know President and you know they play
cards at night. They're like normal human beings and everybody
you know, basically lives in the White House was Secret
Service and the cooks and just and it was just

(38:47):
an unbelievable you know visiting tour of of just the
White House because it's somewhere that you never think that
you're going to be able to to walk in and
it's just one of those things that it doesn't happen
to everybody. So to get you know, to get through
the gate and to get on the lawn and then

(39:10):
get back there and listen and meet the president and
you know, walk up the stairs and go through the
kitchen and just the whole deal man. It was just
it was an unbelievable experience. And there's like a painting
of every president's been on the wall, and there was
one picture on the wall that nobody really understood, and

(39:30):
there was a picture of Hillary Clinton. And we were like, okay, uh,
there's a picture of every president on the wall from
George Washington all the way up to George Bush. And
when I saw the Hillary Clinton picture on the wall,
it led me to believe that one day she would
be the first female president.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
And did you ever get an explanation that as.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
To why, you know, we were just like, why is
her picture on the wall? But these are all the
presidents that were on the wa wall. Pusture was on
the wall. Yeah, that's interesting that that's interesting.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
So I just found it, uh curious that the chiefs
are visiting the White House. Isaiah buzz It wasn't in
birminghammers in Tuscaloosa. He went to Alabama. He was renting
the house and like I said, it was a pit
bull and a rock weller. I guess he had moved
out the house and the animals were left there. He

(40:26):
said the animals weren't his, turned himself in, they released them.
But yeah, they don't play about these animals. I don't
understand why, and I'm not a sin. If you you're
going to get an animal, treat it and take care
of it the right way. If not, don't get an
animal like it just makes He said it wasn't his,

(40:48):
but he was renting the house. The dogs were just
chained up for no apparent reason. I don't know, but
wish him the best.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
The first hour is over Fox Sports Radio. Up on
Game that's Plaxico Burrows. I'm TJ Houschmazada would be right
back for the second album.
