Bally, folks, go here with Tony first. Yo, it's time
for our Week two NFL reactions, So let's just go
right into it.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Reaction.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
All right, first game, the Chiefs, they beat the Bengals. Now,
a lot of people out there they're saying it was
very clear that the rest were trying to help the
Chiefs win.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
And well, Tony, if you know anything.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
About football, you know that's exactly what was happening.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Wasn't.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Absolutely anyone who has any inside NFL knowledge knows that
when the Chiefs wanted to keep their name, the Native
American leaders allowed it to happen only under the condition
that the team didn't suck and sully their reputation.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, and you know, people.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
They think Washington was forced to change their name because
it was offensive to Native Americans. No, no, it was
offensive because the team sucked.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
You know, it was basically like calling the Native Americans losers, and.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
That's that's wrong. No, you can't do that. No, No, anyway,
let's move on.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Controversial move there by Giants coach Brian Daball. You know
he did not arrange for a backup kicker, even though
it was clear that Graham Ganau was suffering. He had
injured his groin, and then he went out on the
opening kickoff and went out with an injury there too,
leaving the team with no kicker, you know, and people
were saying this was bad strategy by Dayball. But Tony,

this was actually classic Brian Dayball, wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Brian Dabele is an old school coach, and he knows
that the Giants won multiple titles without a kicker. I
mean that was during the Great Depression in all, but
still it's a proven way of winning in the franchise's history. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
And look, they don't even have a quarterback who could
throw a forward pass.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
So, you know, because they're old school, yeah, old school.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
On that note, you know, you know people out there,
these morons, they're saying that Bryce Young had one of
the worst games in NFL history after the Panthers lost
to the Chargers twenty six to three, because he completed
eighteen passes for eighty four yards, setting an NFL record
for most completed passes without throwing for.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
More than a hundred yards.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
But you know, when you hear that'stat Tony, that doesn't
mean it was a bad performance, right.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Not at all.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
First off, Bryce Young set an NFL record, so that's
something most people don't get.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
To do, so props to him.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
And second, what do we always say makes a great quarterback?
They have to know their own limitations exactly. And it's
clear Bryce Young knows he should not be throwing the
football more than four yards in the air, and that's
showing good development. He's starting to get it and you
can see that.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
The great analysis, Tony. And you know what, what do
we always say, thank you? Is the best statistical measure
of a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Complete.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Bryce Young completed sixty nine point two percent to rip
his passes on Sunday. And well, guess who also completed
exactly sixty nine point two percent of his passes this week.
That's right, the highest paid quarterback out there, Dak Prescott.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
So what does that tell you, Tony?
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Everything all right, exactly yep. And anyway, let's get the
Colts Packers. In an unusual situation that Tony, We're on
third and ten in the second quarter, Green Bay's Josh
Myers threw up on the ball, yeah, which a forced
quarterback Malik Willis to change the play and not pass,
and he wound up gaining three yards still, which is

solid amazing.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, well, you know.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
And we got to commend the Packers here, don't we,
Tony think they've stumbled upon a great strategy, and he did,
we already have the tush bush. Well what if we
tried the tush you know, it's a brilliant three you know,
maybe it would be smart for the Eagles senter, you know,
just reach into his pants there, grab a clump of
his ship, you know, I just rub it on the ball,

you know, then you hand it to Jalen Ertz. He
takes off running. Well, nobody's gonna go near him, you know.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, you know, and when you think about it, a
football kind of already looks like a big turd, So
it kind of makes sense, you know, strategically.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Great perspective, that, Dony. And all right, well, should we
run through any of these other games?
Speaker 2 (04:30):
There? Cardinals, Rams, No, Steelers beat the Broncos. Who cares?
Raiders beat the Ravens, didn't watch? Jets beat the Titans?
Fell asleep? Browns beat the Jaguars? Does anybody care?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Not?
Speaker 4 (04:50):

Yeah? Me? All right, there you go. Why don't we
