Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is straight Fire with Jason McIntyre.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
What is up, straight Sam, It's me Jason McIntyre, Straight
Fire for Friday, September twentieth. Oh what a night in sports.
Oh my gosh. It was spectacular and more than just
my men's basketball league.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
How about mister Otani joining the Exclusive And by exclusive,
I mean he's the only guy in there fifty to
fifty club. I mean serious shout out to show, hey Otani.
Rob g wants to pour cold water on and be like,
well do it in the playoffs, we'll see he's gonna
need pitching. But I mean Otani right now. I mean
I know that like the Sportsman of the Year, whatever
that award is is, it doesn't mean a whole hell
(00:50):
of a lot. But I'm sorry, Caitlin Clark's been phenomenal.
I don't care what Patrick Mahomes does. It's Otani. We've
never seen this before. It was so impressive. I thought
it was a bigger story than anything that happen with the Jets.
I did. Now, the problem is how do you contextualize it?
And you really can't. He's in a club onto his own.
He's got all the individual awards, he's a spectacular player.
(01:11):
He just needs a World Series. I mean, I don't
really know where to go from there, but he's great
for baseball. He's a phenomenal story with the Dodgers this year.
He's worth every penny and now one to the NFL.
Were't my Jets?
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
They laid the lumber to the Patriots twenty four to three.
I have to be fully honest. I was locked in
for the first three quarters, and then I had my
men's basketball league. We had our first game of the season,
so I did dip out a little early. Luckily I
missed nothing. And I will say rob g knows this
because I'm a nerd. But we didn't win the championship
last year. I think I told you guys. We lost
(01:46):
in the semifinals. A guy who played at Harvard and
Duke dropped thirty eight on our heads. Like we couldn't
stop him. He was unbelievable. He's like six or five wing.
We beat him in the regular season, he smoked us
in the playoffs. It was frustrating. So I said, we
got to annie up. I gotta hit the I got to
hit the transfer portal and I put the full court
press on Richard Jefferson. You may be familiar with his work,
(02:06):
and he joined the Great Foxes. He was very reluctant
to do so. You know, Richard Jefferson's got that dry
sense of humor, and you know he walked in the
gym and everybody's say, what the hell, Jay Mac, that's
not fair? And instantly, of course, you know, we're down
by fourteen to some scrappy good team and then we
end up winning by a lot. But it was good
(02:27):
to have him. We're missing a lot of our dudes
and it's gonna be a fun season. I'll just leave
it at that. I may drop some info and when
the big games are so you guys can call mosgolf
versus r J. That's gonna happen in a few weeks.
But anyways, let's focus on my Jets, shall we. I mean,
what more can you say? This, folks? Is what I
expected both teams to be this season. The Jets totally
(02:51):
dismember the Patriots hold him to eleven first downs one
hundred and thirty nine yards two point nine yards per play.
Jacoby Brissett is who we thought he was a backup
in the NFL. They don't make the red zone until
deep in the fourth quarter. Just an unbelievable performance from
the Jets defense. Patriots looked like a team that had
gone to overtime last week and then had to play
(03:12):
on the road on Thursday night and they barely had
the football. Jets had the ball for forty minutes. Patriots
defense just got gashed five point seven yards per play,
four hundred yards for the Jets and they roll twenty
four to three. I mean, I'm not gonna sit here
and go in deep on the on a blowout win
on Thursday night football, and we'll do best bets at
(03:33):
the end of the pod. I will say the biggest
takeaways from the Jets is they are still an undisciplined mess.
Eight penalties for one hundred and six yards. They could
have had more points for sure, if not for some
really dumb penalties. Aaron rodgerseon frustrated. You had the new
thunder and Lightning duo of young Braylen Allen out of
Wisconsin who had eleven carries fifty five yards and Breese
(03:56):
Lightning Breze Hall sixteen for fifty four. Jets did not
hit a lot of explosives. They had two one to
Tyler Conklin and one to Alan Lazard. But otherwise, like
it wasn't an explosive Jets offense, which is kind of scary.
It was like, we're gonna take what the defense is
giving us, and we're gonna take it and run. And
Aaron Rodgers was super efficient, looked like the old Aaron Rodgers,
(04:18):
or should I say the young Aaron Rodgers making all
the right passes rob When you get a blowout like this,
so everybody's looking for something small and after an early
touchdown put the Jets up. I think it was seven
to nothing. Aaron Rodgers comes to the sideline, Robert Sala's geeked.
It was an awesome drive by the Jets. Rodgers was crushing.
(04:39):
It was just a great drive. And Rogers come to
the sideline and Robert Sala's like, let's go, like all
fired up at Aaron Rodgers like puts his arms out
and I'm trying to lip bread but I couldn't totally
see what he said. But it was one of those
like calm down, dude, it's early to his coach, who
was all geeked in jazz, like the Jets have the lead.
You know, Jets had a good drive like that's the
(05:01):
reason to get excited. That's Sola's energy and wet blanket.
Aaron Rodgers is just like, hey real and if you
look at it, everybody broke it down in slow motion.
It was one of those looks like what's wrong with
this guy? From Rogers to Sala and Rob. I hate that.
That's an overriding takeaway. Listen, it's something The New York
(05:21):
media is going to pounce on this. I guarantee you
today that's the biggest story. Sadly, Jets take apart the Patriots,
big time blowout. But what happened with Rogers and saw
I think it's silly, But that's where we are now right.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Yeah, and you know what's funny is Aaron Rodgers credit
to the media there in New York. They asked him
about it at the podium after the game because the
Twitter lib readers were out in full force. It was,
you know, was him saying too early, like stop celebrating
or don't let them score? Like there was various you know,
ideas as to what he actually said, and according to Rogers,
(06:06):
asked about that awkward exchange with Sala, he said that
all he was doing was that Sala came up to him.
Didn't realize that Sala was going for the hug, because
he says, Sola normally is not a hugging type. He
likes the two hand chest push, kind of like Jim
Harbaugh does. And so Rogers thought he was matching Sala's
(06:28):
energy by going in for a two hand fist push
to his chest, and he was telling him two score lead,
because that's something that Sala is really, you know, adamant about. Apparently,
it practices that if they have a two score lead
that they're basically, you know, unbeatable given the way that
they style a play. So credit to the reporters there
in New York for asking about it, because that was
(06:49):
obviously one of the biggest talking points of the game
because quite frankly, as dominant as the Jets were, it
wasn't an exciting game to watch totally, you know, and
that took on a mind of its own. And credit
to Aaron Rodgers. Whether he's being honest or I don't know,
but for answering the question, So shout out to him
for that.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Do you think he's being honest?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Given his track record, it's hard to give him the
benefit of the doubt because he has a history of being,
you know, not dishonest, but you know, not forthright and
all of his answers. But for me, the big story
was just that Aaron Rodgers looked like he's back. You
mentioned he looked like the young Aaron Rodgers. He finishes
the game twenty seven of thirty five to eighty one,
(07:28):
two touchdowns. Yeah, here's the best part though, completed passes
to eight different wide receivers or eight different receivers coming
into this season, Even the most staunched Jets defenders like you,
who is a Jets diehard homer like me who picked
the Jets to make the Super Bowl in the AFC,
the biggest concern I had about their offense was it's
(07:51):
Garrett Wilson, it's Breise Hall, and nothing else. That it
was gonna have to be Aaron Rodgers doing Aaron Rodgers
type things, fitting the ball into a bucket over and
over and over. Because when you start playing the better
teams and the better defenses, they're gonna take away what
you want to do the most. And Aaron Rodgers said
after the game, the first three teams that we played
(08:12):
this season have all had the same game plan, and
that's erase Garrett Wilson, make someone else beat us. And
Aaron Rodgers, to his credit, did something that we haven't
seen from him probably in like five or six years,
because ever since Davante Adams really took off in Green Bay,
Rodgers has been almost tunnel visioned to his number one guy,
(08:37):
rightily or wrongly. You know, it worked at times in
Green Bay famously want two MVPs. It also backfired in
a big way. You recall in that playoff game as
the NFC in NFC Championship game, I believe, or the
NFC Division Round against the Niners, where I think it's
Allan Lazard is screaming wide open on a fourth down
like ten yards past the sticks, and Roger throws into
double coverage into Devonte Adam to think it's the end
(08:59):
game ending in her So he went back to his roots.
He spreads the ball, he plays quarterback in the classic sense,
and he looked healthy. So if this is gonna be
the Aaron Rodgers that the Jets are gonna get Oh yeah,
the defense rounded into form I know against the Patriots,
but when you hold a team to the second fewest
(09:21):
yards that they've had in over twenty years, that's saying something.
Oh no, no, If Aaron Rodgers can keep playing like this,
I feel really good about my je Super Bowl pig Man.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Well, I'll be honest. I like to be a truth
teller when it comes to the Jets. Right tackle Morgan
Moses had a knee injury that did not look good
at all. We'll see now. This is why you load
up in free agency on the offensive line, and in
the draft they got the kid from Penn State who
went in for Moses. I guess he did well. I
haven't seen the PFF grades yet, but that they're losing
(09:54):
your right tackle in Week three ain't great. And then
a positive just because I'm not mister wet blanket. So
the Jets defense has been much maligned for the first
two weeks. They had fifteen quarterback hits. Last night, Rob
seven sacks, Will McDonald four hits, two sacks. You had
the safety Chuck Clark got in there. Quinnin Williams kin Law,
(10:17):
who was a former forty nine Ers player like everybody
getting in on the action. Patriots are down to their
left side of their offensive line, so that could be
part of it. But it's nice to see the Jets
defense wake up and now Rob this is where it
gets interesting. The Jets have extra time to prepare for
rookie quarterback Bow Knicks, who comes to New York next week.
(10:39):
I'm gonna go ahead and guess they're gonna be favorable,
probably in the neighborhood of seven or seven and a half,
and that would put the Jets at three and one,
hosting Sam Donald in I believe that game is in
London because it's a six thirty am kickoff Sam Donald
and then you get back to Bill's Steelers and it
gets a little tougher. But there's a window here for
(11:00):
the Jets to get things cooking a little bit. You
don't want to You never want to get too high.
I never want to get too low. But I will
be rooting Jacksonville. You know, wait for the best bet,
but I'm rooting for Jacksonville to get a win, even
though I'll tell you I'm looking to bet bills or nothing,
and I would love for Seattle to get the win.
(11:20):
That's definitely loaded up there and the Jets to get, like,
you know, the lead in the NFC East. We know
the Patriots aren't going to be there. They did look feisty,
but their start, what is it? Water finds its level.
We are who we thought they were. That's who I
think the Patriot going to be when it comes to
the Jets. I don't know, Rob, you you made a
good point on Garrett Wilson. Teams are looking to lock
(11:41):
him up. Did you see Christian Gonzalez was doing well
against him, and I guess Wilson got a little pissed
and was like, I need to get the rock. So
third quarter, Wilson comes out and gets the touchdown and
he shook Gonzales there in the in the red zone.
But I did notice if you look at the box score, Rob,
Garrett Wilson six I'm sorry, five catches thirty three yards
(12:01):
along of nine yards. So they're loading up. As you
said on Wilson, there will need Alan Lazard to play well.
The tight end Tyler Conklin had a big game and
the other tight end had two catches too. Now you
got the running backs. The Jets are wisely diversifying. I
don't know if that's Hacket or Rogers. I mean, it's
obvious it can't be Soli, right. I mean, come on,
(12:23):
SLA doesn't get anything right. So I don't know a
lot of positives. You don't want to get too excited
about beating though, probably a four or five win Patriots team.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Rub no.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
I mean, look, credit to the Patriots the first two weeks.
They obviously beat the Bengals in Joe Burrow, and they
were plucky against Seattle. But coming into the season, there's
a reason why most people picked them as one of
the favorites to be picking first overall in the twenty
twenty five NFL draft. This team has no real offensive
talent outside of Ramandre Stevenson. Like this established Jalen Polk
(12:55):
might be something we'll see later. And they decided in
the training camp that even though Drake may had outperformed
Jacobe were said, this is Gerard Mayo's words, not mine,
they were gonna have him serve as the QB two
because they didn't want to throw him to the Wolves,
and they knew that their situation was not good. It
was not conducive to developing a young quarterback. They know
(13:17):
this is a gap year, and even if they're plucky
and they might you know, jump up and upset somebody
like they did with the Bengals in Week one, the
fact remains is, at best, this is a four or
five win team, and the New York Jets, if they
are gonna be a you know, contender coming out of
the AFC, you're expected to have games like this, maybe
(13:40):
not to the extent that they did, where it was,
you know, the first team in NFL history to have
four hundred yards of total offense and allowed no touchdown
seven sacks that it was something really obscure stat Maybe
not that level of dominance, but you're supposed to beat
a team like this and beat them pretty handily. So
the Jets did what they were supposed to do. The
Patriots did what kind of expected them to do coming
(14:01):
into the season, and this is just one of those
games where you know, it was a get right game
for the Jets.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Before I get the best bets, I do want to
point out the WNBA season ended, so just for the
Caitlin Clark listeners, the Sun of Connecticut will face the fever.
He I didn't even know the WNBA playoff for by
Rob I don't know if you're aware of this. So
it's a three game series, which seems like total bs
and the regular season like ended last night, the playoff
(14:29):
starts Sunday like okay, sure, And in the three game series,
the higher seed hosts the first two games. What so
if it goes to game three, the pivotal game will
be at Indiana. Now, my guess, rob is the league
you know, probably wants to save money on travel as
(14:50):
opposed to one one one. Then it's a lot of
travel and hotels and all that. But this kind of
sort of I mean, it really shafts the lower seed.
But if you were able to steal one, holy cow,
you could host the deciding game. Like I was not
aware of this, were you? You could be autist, Robinston.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
I was not. I'd only heard one thing about the
WNBA postseason and this might blow your mind. Allegedly, I
gotta confirm this, but Caitlin Clark playing on Sunday in
the playoffs is going head to head with the NFL.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Oh it is. You're right through three pm Eastern, so
it's twelve Pacific, So ooh, that's the Cowboys Ravens game,
isn't it. Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:30):
So I mean, if if I'm me, and if I
put them on Saturday in the afternoon, or I put
them as the Sunday in between the one pm and
the five pm Pacific start time like where they have
them in this one. This is just it's just bad foresight.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
By the game one, listen, this is a good two
TV time and as you and I, I like the
Ravens in that one. But there are some pretty good
games of four pm Lions which you will call it
Lyons Cardinals is good. Anyways, the season series, Connecticut won
the first game twenty, second game by four, third game
by seventeen, and then Indiana won the last one. Yeah,
(16:07):
I don't know. I'll keep one eye on it, just
for the Caitlin Clark factor. Anyways, Let's get to best
bets for Week three in the NFL and college football.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

couch watching the game is making money while you do it.
(16:35):
Here's your best bet.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
All right, let's get to the best bets for Week
three in the NFL, but also college it's weird. I
looked at the card. You know, during the week, you
hear stuff, you see stuff, you read stuff, you take flyers.
I have weirdly six college football bets. I didn't even
realize that as I was telling all the plays this morning.
And this is like an ongoing process. Guys, every single week,
(16:58):
you know, see something Sunday, grab it up Monday onward.
You hear member Rufus Peabody, who comes on the pod
usually once a year during the NFL season. He's got
an analytical model, is crushing college football, and he's been
on CAL every week. So I took Cal plus two
and a half. I have Stanford plus eight and a half.
The dumbest play I have is Oklahoma plus seven and
a half at home against Tennessee. It just out of
(17:20):
respect to Oklahoma. I took the seven and a half.
Tennessee may smoke him. It could be a beat down,
could be a Wisconsin Alabama thing if Tennessee's as good
as advertise. But I took Oklahoma anyway. Texas Tech minus
three JM. You repping the Dukes plus ten and a
half and Buffalo that may have been a misclike Buffalo
plus fourteen and a half. I don't know how that
ended up on the card. I don't even know who
they're playing. All right, let's get to the actual bets
(17:43):
that I really really like in the NFL. And I
know you should do the same amount of wagers for
college NFL back that the smart move is to go
steady throughout. But I'm the idiot who thinks almost it's
almost like I'm a Nick Sirianni, like I decided, Oh,
I'm gonna go for the first quarter inside the ten
and then I'm gonna kick in the fourth quarter. Almost
(18:05):
as dumb as that. With you know, you kind of
load up on more NFL because you you have a
bigger edge there. I went with the Ravens minus one.
I don't understand this line, Guys, the more you look
at it, we all know Lamar Jackson twenty and one
in his career against the NFC because they're not used
to seeing him. You know, if you look at his
numbers against the Steelers, they're up and down. You look
(18:25):
at Browns, Bengals, they all have their moments against him.
The NFC usually does not. Why is that because you
can't replicate Lamar in practice. So I went and looked.
Anybody want to guess when the last time Lamar faced
the Cowboys was twenty twenty. Andy Dalton was filling in
for an injured Dak Prescott, and it's like, you gotta
be kidding me, really, twenty twenty, they haven't seen Lamar.
(18:48):
And in that game, I'm pretty sure it was a
primetime game, Lamar had something like two hundred yards total offense.
Because it was a beatdown and was never real close.
They want by a lot ran for about one hundred
for you know whatever, one ninety yearor what. I forget
the numbers, but bottom line is they haven't seen anything
like Lamar. And I don't believe in this Ravens team.
We did the previews, you guys listen all summer. I'm
(19:10):
not a big believer in this Ravens team this year,
in this spot, I have a feeling Lamar is gonna
do what he did against the Chiefs. I'm not letting
us fall to zero to three. I'm just not gonna
let that happen. And I'm not a huge believer in
the Cowboys. Again, that was another team that we were
on the fence on the playoffs. But you look at that.
What happened to that Cowboys defense against the Saints. I mean,
(19:32):
they just look very ill prepared.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
It was.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
It was like the Patriots last night against the Jets.
Patriots didn't know what was coming. They were just getting
run all around the field, Rogers, open guys everywhere. That's
what the Saints were. They were just ill prepared. And
now you know, it's like Lamar Jackson, The hell do
you prepare for that? So I give me the Ravens
modest one. Don't get the line again. I don't trust
the Ravens offensive line. I don't they blew a ten
(19:55):
point lead in the fourth quarter against the hapless Raiders.
I don't know, guys, I think the Ravens are the
side here. I took the Chargers plus one. In full disclosure.
I think there are a better teaser side than they are,
just a side. And a point that I pointed out
on the Herd yesterday was Greg Roman is the offensive
coordinator of the Chargers. Greg Roman very good offensive mind.
(20:19):
We know what he wants to do. He was in
Baltimore for the last four years. Okay, Mike Tomlin has
seen Greg Roman offenses left and right for the last
four years. I don't know if Roman is Roman gonna
be like a Gus Bradley, the Colts defensive coordinator who
doesn't change his stripes. And this is why we nailed
the Packers last week. We knew Gus Bradley like to
sit back in his cover three and We're not gonna
(20:40):
give up the big plays. We're gonna just sit back,
sit back. You're facing a running quarterback. Packers just said,
oh you're gonna sit back in the cover three, We'll
just run all over you. Okay. So are we going
to see Greg Roman say, oh, I know what Tomlin does.
He knows what I do. I'm not gonna do the
normal thing and We're gonna come out and change some
stuff up. So you like to think the Chargers would
(21:00):
do that. The problem is justin Herbert hobbled. He was
back at practice Thursday foot heavily taped. I don't know
what his mobility situation is, like I seventy five percent ninety,
you know, unless more information trickles out. I mean, I
like the Chargers as a side getting one, but I
think as a teaser leg because we know the Steelers
have an inability to blow anybody out, and all they
(21:21):
do is play close games every single week. I think
you tease the Chargers up from one to eight, you
go through the key numbers of three and seven, and
then you're just sitting around. You're like, all right, who
do I pair them with them? We'll get to that
in a minute. But Chargers plus one, I think for
sure as a play, I like dumbest play that's gone,
And obviously I don't recommend it anymore. This was the
first bet I made Sunday night. You know you're going through,
numbers are popping up. Oh, San Francisco minus seven and
(21:42):
a half, Well, there's no way Cooper Cup's coming back.
Boukunakua rams are to train wreck, forty nine ers own them.
Let me just grab the seven and a half.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
This could soar.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
And then Deebo Samuel's hurt and he's not gonna play. Oh,
well that's not great. And now George Kittle's hurt. He's
probably not gonna go, and it's like, wait a minute,
no Debo, no Simac, no Kittle. And they're favored by seven,
it's down to six and a half. Probably is gonna
go a little bit lower. Again, you look at the
receivers for the Rams, they don't have anybody. It's like
(22:12):
some kid Whittington or something from Texas who looks okay.
But again he looks okay as a three or four.
Now he's gonna have to be a one or two.
That's a different story. So I don't like the Rams here. Obviously,
I got a bad number on San fran Things didn't
go my way. You know, listen them as the breaks,
as they say. But I'm on San Francisco. I still
think they're the side and they win this game, and
(22:33):
I think they win with margin. But you know, if
I had to do it again, of course I wouldn't
take seven and a half. Now the Debo and Kittle
are both out. I did get the Broncos at seven
earlier this week. It is six and a half. If
you can get a seven, obviously better than six and
a half, Folks, I don't I'm not like selling my
bow Nick stock, not that I have any. Actually, I
(22:54):
don't really have any stock in the rookies. I do
like Kaylea Williams, obviously, but you know, bo Nicks has
gone to Seattle in a tough spot to open his
career against a great defensive mind. Then at home he
faced Pittsburgh. I thought they would have a shot and
Nicks just couldn't handle the Pittsburgh defense. So now he
faces a Tampa defense. It looks like it's going to
be down four starters, including Vida Veya. I would fully
(23:16):
expect a lot of running with Javonte Williams. The Bucks
can be had on the ground. The problem is, you
know you're going to be all excited with the depleted
secondary as the Rams were. The Rams were morons last week,
cost me money, went away from what they should be doing,
which is a power run game. That's what they are,
and decided, oh, you know what, let's just throw the
(23:37):
ball fifty five times. I don't think bon Nicks is
going to do that, that would be my guess, but
I think the Broncos can keep it close. I think
the Tampa Bucks are a little overvalued. They've been good,
no doubt, undeniable too and zero, but let's not go
overboard with the win over the Lions, which I thought
was more about the lions ineptitude and silliness than Tampa
Bay's greatness. Tampa has looked good. I mean they carved
(23:58):
up Washington. Goodness, Washington's secondary is terrible. Another bad line.
I got a number grabbing Jason making bad mistakes. I
went out second bed after San fran was Seattle minus
five and a half. I said, you gotta be kidding me.
Skyler Thompson cross country to face the Seattle defense at
(24:20):
lumen Field. That is, that's not a recipe for success.
Problem with Seattle two and oh but h and two
against the spread a r sorry oh one and one.
Technically they pushed against the Broncos, and I just this
Seattle team I still think is a little undervalued. Although
one could argue, maybe you got a Tyreek Hill splash
(24:41):
play you get, you get a play, a big play
by Waddle, you know in bing bang boom, all of
a sudden they're in the game, and Seattle struggles, you know,
no Kenneth Walker. Maybe Charbonay has a better game this week.
But I do feel like Seattle is able to get
some margin here. Mike McDaniel, I said it last week.
I'll say it again, Mike McDaniel. That offense was awesome
(25:02):
last year. The defenses are catching up. We saw them
slowed significantly. I think we're gonna see Seattle's defense show
up and they go three and oho, and if the
Niners somehow slip and fall to one and two, my
Seattle futures in that division is gonna look real, real tasty.
I also got the Panthers. I do not advocating betting
your after tax dollars on the Carolina Panthers, even with
(25:26):
Andy Dalton under center. I'm sure I will regret this.
It is not a big play for me. I got
six and a half, but that was before the Dalton news.
I was just like, come on, six and a half?
Really the Raiders act? So I took it. It's down
a five, five and a half. Are the Panthers good? Absolutely?
Now are they the worst team in the league?
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Probably?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Are the Raiders good? Don't know. Could they run for
two fifty and win thirty four to ten? Sure they might,
But I just on principle, I don't see how Gardner
Minshew can be laying almost a touchdown anywhere Earth, the moon,
the sun, anywhere. Like I just Gardner Minshew, you can't
be land points. I have the Green Bay Packers, and
(26:05):
again some of these are like, what are you doing
taking the Packers? This was my guess is Jordan Love
shocks the world in place. He's looked pretty good at practice.
I know. The thought is, hey, you guys have a
big game against the Vikings last week. All right, sorry,
next week, why wouldn't you just hold him out? So
he's one hundred percent against the against the Vikings, and
that makes all the sense in the world. That being said,
(26:25):
I don't know it. Like last week Lafleur was doing
the games have been shipping. This week, there's none of that.
He's like, oh yeah, Jordan Love's a practice, So I
got one and a half. I am seeing three Titans.
Will Levis lang points really a bit of a revenge
game here. Maybe is at the angle for Malik Willis.
I don't know. I took the Packers. I I we'll
(26:47):
see I mean again, I don't. I just until I
see Will Levis not become a choke artist in the
in the second half, just turning the ball over like
a moron. I've got to fade him. And I know
a lot of smart people that I talked to like
the Titans. This week. I'm gonna ride with the Packers again.
Not a significant play if I can get a three
on the Eagles. I don't see it yet. I will
(27:08):
be on the Eagles in New Orleans. I'm sure that's
gonna be massively regrettable. Boy, I'm still upset with the
Eagles for uh Monday Night football totals that I hit Packers,
Titans under thirty seven, Washington sincey over forty eight, Giants,
Browns under thirty eight and a half. Jim Schwartz defense.
Will they put Daniel Jones in a body bag? We
(27:29):
don't know, but it's possible. The only reason I don't
like the Browns is I don't know that they can
get margin. Like, is Watson gonna all of a sudden,
you know, get skittish when the pass rush gets to him.
I mean, we did see Jayden. I don't think Washington
punted last week, which is scary. Jayden Daniels and a
rookie did not punt last week. So does that mean
to Sean Watson can open up a can here on
(27:49):
the Giants? They fall to oh and three, and I
think we gotta be start. We gotta start talking def
coun one or two. Honestly, Dable, could you gotta at
least be competitive? You lose a close game, fine, make
sure you got your kicker this week, dable And let
me see what the last play was NFL this Oh,
Houston Texans. I know it's risky going to Minnesota. Flores
(28:13):
has called up a great game last week against the Niners.
It felt kind of sort of like a huge one.
Now you go out of conference, you're two and zero.
Oh by the way, Packers next week, and this Houston
team assuming mix in place. I just and I know
it's gonna sound silly because the Bears did a pretty
good job bottling them up. I don't see how you
totally stop Houston. They have a good ground game, really
(28:35):
strong pass game. The defense is coming around. We're Another
theme that I'm working on for next week probably is
these defensive coaches have really been getting the better of
the offensive coaches. That's a serious thing around the league.
And I do wonder if in this spot, Demiko Ryans
is able to get the better of Kevin O'Connell. And
(28:56):
you know, I like O'Connell a ton, but I do
like the Texans. I'll probably have them in the in
the contest. You know, last week one and four. I
don't want to talk about it, no questions, please. I'm
looking at Broncos Lions minus three in Arizona, Ravens minus
one obviously, Bears plus one and a half, Texans minus two,
Browns minus six and a half maybe, and then this
(29:17):
Chiefs game. I got to see what we're doing with
the Chiefs. I'm not one hundred percent sure yet. Minus
three and a half in Atlanta. I know nobody, everybody
wants to take the Falcons, and I'm like, well, why
are we getting three and a half. Why are the
Chiefs getting that extra hook? Because they know if it
hits three, everybody's gonna hammer the Chiefs. So I'm gonna
I'm probably gonna sub the Chiefs in the contest. We
(29:37):
didn't get to the Bills. On Monday night FOOTBA against Jacksonville.
I kind of like them and the Chargers. I think
I'm off the Niners in the contest just because of
all the injuries. I don't know if I can pull
that off. Anyways, a lot of bets, a lot of action,
huge weekend, very fired up. I got a rebound after
last week. I'm hoping for a four to one or
five and zero. Well, let's all celebrate on Monday. Talk
(29:59):
to you then,
