buying should be, Monsie. We have a lot of things
on our play. Adam kaplan our Fox Sports Radio NFL
Insider is going to be joining us here in about
fifteen minutes. We get a full rundown of a big
Sunday in the NFL tomorrow. We got a lot of
college football going on right now watching I use CLA Bruins.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Look at them hanging in there.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Three touchdown underdogs LSU, though, just drove one into the
end zone to take a twenty three to seventeen lead,
penning the extra point. Meanwhile, USC and Michigan, this is
such an interesting matchup because only twice had they ever
actually met in the regular season. Michigan and USC played
against each other in more Rose Bowls than any other

(01:06):
Rose Bowl matchup eight times. The last time Michigan and
USC faced each other in a regular season game non
Bowl game was the year I was born, so that
is a long time ago. I was. To put it
this way, Eisenhower was the president at the time and

(01:26):
US he was dominating the first half, down fourteen to three,
but they got a touchdown back. Meanwhile, Michigan just scored again.
So Michigan leads this game twenty to ten. Michigan was
an underdog at home, Monsei, but they have looked much better,
especially running the football. A couple of big touchdown runs
on the first half. So we got all this going on.
But I want to start things off with the biggest

(01:49):
sports story in the week, and that is one show.
Hey O Tommy, I know this is Fox Football Saturday,
but sometimes people just transcend whatever it is you're talking about.
And for him to achieve fifty to fifty in a
game where he was six or six, three home runs,
ten runs batted in in two stolen bases, remember he

(02:12):
got to the forty forty club with a walk off
grand slot.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Of course he had to do it in style.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I posted on X and I'm pretty good about this
that sho Hao Tani has had the greatest individual season
in the one hundred and thirty four year history of
the Dodgers. Now, the only guy that I could say
came close was Sandy Kofax in nineteen sixty three, Cy

(02:41):
Young MVP twenty five and five, one eighty eight ERA
three hundred and six strikeouts. Then in the World Series
as the Dodger swept the Yankees, he won games one
in four and dominated. That to me, has always been
the standard. But we're talking about a guy once again
that is doing things that don't seem imaginable. That last

(03:04):
home run they hit in the ninth and is that
thing landed yet?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I'm not sure. You know, it is incredible to watch
before our eyes.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
How it's not just one game that he has good,
It's not just one at bat that he has good.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
He keeps getting better.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
And that's what's hard to believe because I did not
expect him to really step up his offensive game this much.
And I got to give a little bit of credit
to Bernie Fratto mentioned how typically a player when they
get their big contract, like this is a big contract, right,
they kind of take a dip.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Think of Bryce Harper, think of just the biggest.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
You know, yes, yes, his first year with the Pod.
He's had good years since, but that first year.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
There's a little bit of a dip, a little bit
because I don't know if they relax maybe because they
got the deal. They got the contract. Here is Otani
delivering game after game. Watching him play against the Miami Marlins.
He wanted that cycle. He went for that third baseit
that was he You should have stayed at second base.
But tell me, when he hit fifty, I saw him

(04:06):
looking at the picture, looking waiting for the pitture, and
I was like, he's gonna hit it. He knows he's
gonna hit That's what's incredible to me is you watch him.
He is so comfortable out there and he knows he's
gonna get it.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
And he even said, I just wanted to get this
out of the way.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I didn't want I didn't want the attention to be
on this. Now we can focus on the last remaining
games of the season. Like he even said that. It's
just incredible how he continues to deliver in always. And
you know, I posted something about it and somebody like
threw at me. You know, Ricky Henderson stolen bases or
Barry Bond's home runs, and they said.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Why do I have to be impressed? And I was like,
you don't. You don't have to be impressed, but let
the rest of us be impressed. Okay, you want to
be impressed.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
That's far If somebody hit seventy three home runs and
stole one hundred and thirty bases in the same season,
one guy, yeah, yes, that would trump anything. Obviously we're
talking about one. And by the way, after doing what
he did, he came back the next day hit another
home run, another stolen base to get their fifty two
to fifty two stupid. So no, I, like I said,
if I were to argue about just the Dodgers in

(05:11):
their one hundred and thirty four year history, going back
to their Brooklyn days in the nineteenth century, the closest
is Kofax. And again, Cofax's season adds to the fact
that he did in the World Series as well, including
what was then a World Series record fifteen strikeouts in
Game one at Yankee Stadium against you know, Mickey Mannle

(05:32):
and that kind of Yankee team show. Hey has never
been to the postseason, obviously, this will be his first opportunity.
And you know, if we see anything like this and
the Dodgers win the World Series. Now, all of a sudden,
you're talking about a guy who is posting one of
the greatest seasons of all time, and it would be

(05:53):
a very short list. So, you know, I put it
out there, most people agreeing. There was a couple of
people I don't know, you know, and I'm not, you know,
he's a d H or whatever, and I'm like, come on, okay,
I guess it is. I mean, there are still Mets
fans trying to insist that Lindor even though you got hurt.

(06:13):
I mean, the Mets have had a really unexpected good
year this year, and obviously they're battling this seemingly Arizona
right now for that second wildcard slot, and Lindor will
be running up. But no, there's no chance that you
do not vote sho Hey Otani even as a D
eight exactly the Most Valuable Player award.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
You know, the.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Dodgers right now are are struggling with the pitching stuff
right we don't know what's going to happen big time,
And I think there's still a chance despite that that
the Dodgers can win in big part because of Shohe's
offense and he's not the only one.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Tommy Edmund has been incredible for the Dodgers.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Underrated signing that happened, you know, during the trade the
trade period, amazing right before free agency. All the whatever
best one underrated move that the Dodgers made. They also
got heading on this. Max Munsey is back hitting, Mooki,
everyone is hitting. And I still feel like despite the
pitching issues that the Dodgers are having, they have a
real chance to still get far.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
All right, here's this is just the reality of making
a run through three rounds of the postseason to win
a World Series three rounds. I mean, if you have
a wild card, obviously you have a little extra. But
if you know, the Dodgers says the division three rounds,
you have to have three starting pitchers that can give

(07:35):
you six quality innings, not one. Uh, you have Flairty
right now, you know. I mean, Yamamoto obviously has got
to come back to form it. But again, it can't
be four innings because what happens is if you can't
get innings out of your starters, multiple starters, then you're

(07:55):
just frying your bullpen completely against the best teams in
the league and potentially the best team in the other lakes.
You just can't do that. I mean, you're going to
have to figure out which three starters for the Dodgers
with Glass now out. I mean, can Kershaw revive himself,
Can Bueller revive himself? I mean they're still hanging on

(08:17):
to Bobby Miller, who's got an ERA of almost nine
this year.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Bobby Miller is not no, no, no, no, he's not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I mean, this is what they're gonna have to do
to navigate through three rounds of the postseason.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Yes, yes, no, it's not gonna be easy. And you know,
maybe they have something up their sleeve. Maybe Kershaw comes
out and this is his farewell tour and not telling anybody,
and so he's gonna kick ass during the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
And say his goodbye to the game. Not that he
hasn't announced anything.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
I'm just saying there's a chance he might be retiring
silently and we don't even know. Yeah, the pitching is
is obviously a big dilemma. But honestly, like, I think
the Dodgers offense still has a chance to win.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Win. Well, they've been doing that. I'd been giving up
the head of this run where they had like what
thirteen games. They gave up at least six runs in
every single game and then I missed so won some
of those games. You know, it's like, okay, but you
can't do that in the post.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
It's gonna be hard to sustain that because you're.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
You're gonna go against some pretty good teams in the
National League and whoever comes out of the American League.
All right, coming up on the other side, we're gonna
get a full update around the National Football League. A

live from the ti Raq dot Com studios. And yeah,
it is the great month of September. Here we got
football everywhere right now, College football, NFL football coming up tomorrow.
Joining us right now is our Fox Sports Radio NFL

(11:41):
insider Adam Kaplan. Well, Adam, let's start with the obvious
story to start with, and that is the benching of
Bryce Young David Tepper. Since taking over ownership of the Panthers,
they have a record of thirty one and sixty eight
and they're six coaches in. This was a team that
was just three years or moved from making a fifteen

(12:03):
to one season Super Bowl run year. I don't know
how anyone could be worse as an owner than temper
Is but do we have some insight on exactly who
made the final call, who made the first suggestion that
it was time to bench Bryce Young two games into

(12:23):
his second season.

Speaker 7 (12:24):
All right, guys, here's what happened.

Speaker 8 (12:25):
So basically, when they watched the tape on Monday morning,
it was obvious that Bryce Young could not play.

Speaker 7 (12:33):
He could not start. They couldn't go forward.

Speaker 8 (12:36):
As one coach told me from another team, if you
don't betch him, he's playing that Bailey, you could lose
the locker room. This had to happen. They had a meeting,
they talked about it. They all agree that it had
to happen. In the end, the owner was involved. Everybody
knew what was going to happen, and this had to happen.
I know Canal said after the game that yes, he

(12:59):
Rice is their guy, but you couldn't go forward. He
was so bad they're betching for his own good.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
Now.

Speaker 8 (13:05):
The only unfortunate thing is Bryce was told he's going
to start after the game, and then, of course money
after they watched the tape, they.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
Matten told him he wasn't.

Speaker 8 (13:14):
So it's unfortunate, but it's been a disaster. You know,
if we go back to what happened in the draft
last year. I'm told that Stroud did not interview well
with them by the way.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
They just weren't comfortable with it.

Speaker 8 (13:29):
Look, it looks terrible, a terrible mistake, but there's some
things Sometimes when you know you have information, sometimes you're wrong.
The pre draft testing that they gave him didn't turn
out well, but yet everything else for Bryce Young was
good and that made a decision for them.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
All Right, Just a quick fall up on this whole thing. So,
I mean, obviously it was a rough rookie season, but
we've seen a lot of future Hall of famers have
rough rookie seasons. But these first two games he went backwards.
If that was even possible, I know from what he
did as a rookie. So what happened here? Is it?

Speaker 9 (14:04):
Like?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
I mean, did he just get worse or is the
talent around him so void that there's no way he
can succeed? I mean, how do you count him? Canalis
was supposedly brought in as the guy that was going
to get this right, and two games in, the guy
you brought in to be the head coach specifically to

(14:27):
make Bryce Young right failed. It took two games to determine.
The Canalis failed to make Bryce Young.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
Better, no doubt.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
So basically what's happened here is that in the offseason
they actually dressed a lot of issues. They dressed the
receiver position they had too. They were able to add
two the Antay Johnson trade coming from Pittsburgh, who, by
the way, is looking for a new deal, so he's
got plenty of motivation. They drafted Xavier Lagette. No, he's
more he's more of a project. We have to understand

(14:58):
that it's going to take him while to be ready.
But Adam Field had a great season last year for
the Panthers. Look the issue that you know, they don't
have their their second round running back unfortunately's come back
with torn ACL They're going to bring him along slowly
out of University Texas offensive line.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
They addressed it.

Speaker 8 (15:14):
They had they felt the two significant pieces from what
I understand. So look, overall, there's enough there for Bryce
Young to be good. Now what Bryce Young His problem is,
he's got zero confidence, doesn't see the field well, checks
the ball down. Actually he looks Look, he still looks
like a rookie. Steve in a second season, and here's

(15:35):
a kid who processed really well at Alabama. He's been
the exact opposite. He's just risk averse, his zero confidence,
and that is why he had to be benched. They
really had no choice. I really feel strongly that Dave
Canows would have lost the locker room if they didn't
do it.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
To be honest with you, Adam, one of the big
matchups for this weekend Ravens Cowboys in Dallas.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Who do you think has the edge?

Speaker 8 (15:59):
And yeah, well, look, we know the Ravens haven't been
h to two in about a decade.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
It's happened.

Speaker 8 (16:09):
We know that the history of OH and two teams
make the playoffs is very slim. They know the Ravens
who have tremendous urgency, there's no question about. It's not
like they've played bad. It's all like Dallas, who, by
the way, is giving up ninety one points in their
last two home games. Right, so it's no longer home field.
I've been to that at and T Stadium and really
it's too big to cavernous. It's just it's not a

(16:29):
great home field. Yeah. By the way, Baltimore's pretty healthy
coming to this game. I'd be very surprised if they
didn't win this game.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Speaking of big matchups, Eagles trying to bounce back from
that stunning loss at home. Two of all teams, the Falcons.
Now they go against right now, everyone's number one team
two weeks into the season, the unstoppable New Orleans Saints.
Remember during the preseason, everyone's saying, can we get Spencer

(16:59):
rat learnee quarterback? We don't like Derek Carr. He's done,
he's done. This Saints offense has literally been unstoppable. The
Eagles if they lose this game, even though it's a
road game against the Saints, Siriani, I mean, he was
on the hot seat going in. They blow that game
on Monday Night football at home, and now they go

(17:20):
on the road against a red hot Saints team. What
could come out of this one?

Speaker 8 (17:25):
Well, if they look, they're not gonna have aj Brown
so clearly. In fact, I can't believe the line was
as of last night three points. I wouldn't mind. Line
would have been five or five and a half for
New Orleans. I know New Orleans has not been the
greatest road team in recent years, but I've been in
that stadium when it's packed, you can't hear it's really
it's a great home field, especially when the team is good.

(17:46):
The Legles have only won one out of the last
five games there in the Marceidi super Dome, so it's
gonna be hard for the Eagles. Yes, they blew that
game scheme. They should have won even without aj Brown.
I think they would tell you that they've got all
sorts of problem so defensively, worst run defense. They they
they're their edge rustures. Steve do not have a sack
so far, which is really bad. Jalen Hurts played poorly,

(18:10):
one of his one of his worst games really over
the last two seasons.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
He really did not play well.

Speaker 8 (18:15):
He he has this bad habit, folks, if you if
you watch this game tomorrow, he has this bad habit
of rolling to his right without pressure. I just I
don't know what it is. He's he picked up this
habit last year and this is it was really bad
last week. I'm not sure what's going on with him,
but he's not playing well.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
Now.

Speaker 8 (18:32):
They're in the NFL's worst division, what I call the
NFC least they'll have. They'll have no problem win that division.
It's a really bad division.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
Washington.

Speaker 8 (18:40):
Look, they're they're in a rebuild and They don't want
to say that, but they are. The Giants are really bad.
They've been good years and look Dallas after that great
Week one against a bad Cleveland team with issues at
quarterback and problems are offensive line. They got absolutely embarrassed
against that team. You just mentioned New Orleans and now
New Orleans. I do want to mention the big thing

(19:00):
is Kubiak's Gary Kubek's on Klint Kubiak. The players love
this scheme. They're running an old school West West Coast offense.
They're facing the worst run defense through two weeks. Again,
this game should not be close. I know the league
is really weird with his stuff. Just when you think
there's no chance, the team that shouldn't win winds up winning.

(19:22):
I can't believe this game will be close. I'd be
very surprised, but I've been surprised before Adam.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Two teams that everyone expected to be two to zero
Chargers Steelers.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Everyone had that down. What's the latest with Justin Herber?

Speaker 4 (19:35):
I expect a low scoring game, but without Justin Herbert,
I don't know if the Chargers have a chance.

Speaker 8 (19:40):
Yeah, it's look, guys, he's got a high ankle spring.
They can't put him in there. It's boy, they kept
that quiet. He's the one who broke the news to
the reporters. He's got a high ankle spring You remember
he had the plan of Fascia. That's kind of gone away.
It's been taking care of East and Stick, who is
either going to sign with the Eagles, the Chargers. Eagles
made the t tight for Kenny Pickett, so the Stick

(20:02):
resigned with the Chargers. Pretty good athlete by the way,
not a great arm Taylor Heineke's there as well. Yeah,
it doesn't look great for Justin Fields. Excuse me for
Justin Herbert. Now with Fields, as long as they win,
he's not giving up the job. There's a zero chance
to Russell Wilson get the job if they continue to win. Now,
by the way, they're going to get Roman Wilson for
his first game, their draft pick out of Michigan, and

(20:25):
I'm told had a high ankle sprain. That's why he
was out. Yeah, now that changed with the Justin Field situation.
I was going to pick the Chargers had had he
not gotten hurt. So I'm changing it. I'm going to
go with Justin Fields and the Steelers, who you know,
they're not playing great football offensively, but their defense has
been lights out.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
It's amazing. We get the Week three all of a sudden,
there's a lot of interesting matchups. Lions at the Cardinals.
I mean the Lions opening a couple of home games,
get a narrow win against the Rams, a narrow loss
against the Bucks, and now they go on the road
against a Cardinals team that absolutely blew the doors off
a team that had all them over the years, the Rams,
I mean just blew them out. So where are we

(21:07):
going with this game, Lions on the road against the Cardinals.

Speaker 7 (21:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (21:11):
Look, I expect the Lions to bounce back there. They
don't have any injury problems of note. It just they
didn't play well. They haven't they've been they haven't looked great. Steve,
As you set this up, I think you're right. They
haven't played well. Cardinals blew that big lead in the
first Atificants. Buffalo actually played well in the first week
and the second week obviously they were tremendous. Yeah, the
Lions will bounce back. I'd be very surprised if they

(21:33):
lost now. Really, yeah, I don't see them losing this
game at the Cardinals.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
I really don't.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
There by the way they've They've used to be in
it for decades in the NFL's worst road team, They've
been very good in recent years on the row with
Dan Campbell.

Speaker 7 (21:46):
They'll bounce back. I don't see it big a.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Big deal, Jaguars taking on the Bills. Adam Is.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Doug Peterson maybe in the hot seat.

Speaker 8 (21:55):
He is, there's no question if they kept I'm not
saying he'll be fire if they get blown out Monday night.
I don't think things are good there from what I've
been told.

Speaker 7 (22:05):
I just don't. I think there's a disconnect on offense.
There's just something going on with with Trevor.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
Lawrence and the offensive coordinator, Press Taylor and Doug Peterson.
They're just not on the same page. They look dreadful
on offense. I like their defense, Roy Nielson, who did
a great job with Atlanta. I'm not worried about their defense.
Their offense. Look, they just extended Trevor Lawrence's contract in
the offseason. This is a team to watch. I'm glad
you brought this up because I had a talk with
a pretty good league source plugged into that that team

(22:34):
and I don't like what I'm hearing so yeah, it's fair.
I'm not again, I'm not saying it's going to be
this early. And Shot com the owner, as I understand,
it's only fired one head coach in season. I believe
that it was Gus Bradley. I SHOT's very fond of Doug.
But in look, two years ago, Peterson came in like
a you know, that night in Shining Armor, you know,

(22:54):
after the Urban Myer experience, which is not very good,
and turn things around. But yet, folks, they've now lost
seven out of the last eight games. Remember they lost
five out of six, they've lost these two.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
It's not good.

Speaker 8 (23:08):
Yeah, with all the talent they have an offense and
all the money spent in free agency, I know that
they're very disappointed.

Speaker 7 (23:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Seems to me that Trevor Lawrence may be overrated. He
is over There's a lot of overrated quarterbacks around the
National Football League making a whole lot.

Speaker 7 (23:27):
How about Sam Darnald though, how about Sam dar.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Sam Darnald undefeated. It's amazing how much better you are
when you're throwing the ball to Justin Jefferson. Well, it's amazing,
you know, you.

Speaker 8 (23:35):
Having O'Connell the quarterback whisper. He does a great job.
Now again it's they've only played two games. This is
the best that Darnald's ever looked. He's a journeyman for
a reason, young journeyman twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (23:47):
And the Texans, they've got some injuries of note, particularly
with Joe Mixon. That wears me that he's out with
an ankle sprain and it could be multiple weeks, I'm told. So, yeah,
that's that's that's actually a marquee game.

Speaker 7 (23:59):
Who thought of that?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Yeah, well there's one guy that's not over a and
that's c J. Stroud. He just I mean, this guy
could be counting Canton bound by the time his career
is over. That's how good he has been. Great stuff, Adham.
We went over time with you to get a little
extra already. Week three, I mean, just so many great
games this week, so many interesting matchups, so many big
stories going on. Adam, you are the best. Thanks so much.

(24:21):
We'll talk to you next week. So that's Adam cap
on our Fox Sports Radio NFL inside. It's amazing how
many good matchups are I know my week.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
I mean, one was the one you asked about the
Cardinals Lions. That was the next one. You went right,
I was like, you.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Read my mind.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
I mean even like Bears and Colts, it's like, all right,
Anthony Richards and Caleb Williams, like we're waiting for one
of these guys. Caleb Williams has looked awful. So yeah,
he and Anthony richardson four interceptions already in two games.
He had so much hype a couple of years ago.
But that's the NFL. All right, let's find out what
is trending right now, Kevin wired. Isn't that what ya?

(25:00):
I was doing today? We're doing great day afternoon.

Speaker 10 (25:03):
I'm watching college football, just as I would be at home,
So I'm ecstatic to be here.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, I was watching my UCLA brows. They were hanging
in for a while, but now it's getting away from it.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (25:13):
It's now thirty one seventeen in favor of sixteenth ranked
LSC with eleven minutes to go in that fourth quarter,
as they were tied at the halftime break at seventeen.
But it has been all Tigers so far in this
second half.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
The big game.

Speaker 10 (25:29):
We're keeping an eye on right now, Number eleven USC,
number eighteen, Michigan over in in Arbor and Michigan led
fourteen to three at one point. USC has gotten back
in the game, but whenever it seemed like the Trojans
would get the advantage, the Wolverines would be one step ahead.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
As the snap back to pass looking left fire picked off.

Speaker 8 (25:48):
Will Johnson go in the other direction, he will score
touchdown Wolverines.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
It's that guy again, Number.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
Two John Jansen on the Michigan Sports Network from a
lear field with the Callie pick six by the Wolverines
keeping USC at bay. They were up twenty to ten
at one point, but USC has just scored a couple
of minutes ago to cut it to three. Twenty to
seventeen in favor of the Wolverines. They got about ten

(26:19):
minutes ago in the fourth quarter. Other ranked teams in action.
Number ten Penn State doing as expected against ken State.
They're leading at forty nine nothing. They're in the middle
of the fourth quarter, so this game just about over.
Number seventeen Notre Dame looked like they were having scary
flashbacks of their game against Northern Illinois a couple of
weeks ago. They were in action against another MAC team

(26:39):
and it was scoreless after one quarter in Miami of Ohio,
led it three to nothing at one point in the second,
but it has been all Irish ever since, as they've
added four touchdowns to lead it twenty eight to three.
They've got four minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Out in South Bend, they're in the fourth quarter at
louisval the nineteenth three Cardinals leading Georgia Tech twenty four

(27:00):
to nineteen. Northern Illinois and Buffalo all knotted up at seventeen.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
They're in the fourth quarter. Some sec action.

Speaker 10 (27:07):
Arkansas on top of Auburn seventeen to fourteen in the
fourth quarter. Pittsburgh, they're blowing out Youngstown State sixty six seventeen,
Arizona State, Texas Tech. The Red Raiders lead this one
twenty seven to sixteen in the fourth, Navy on top
of Memphis forty nine thirty eight in the fourth, and
number twelve Utah, number fourteen Oklahoma State the Utes leading,
And I had to keep reminding myself this is a

(27:28):
conference matchup, a big twelfth conference matchup, with the Utes
leading this one thirteen to three as they're approaching the
end of the third quarter. Some games from earlier today
that have gone final, Ohio State, the buck guys having
no issue with Marshall as they beat them forty nine
to fourteen. Number twenty, Iowa State an easy win against

(27:49):
Arkansas State fifty two to seven, Number twenty one, Clemson
a blowout of NC State fifty nine to thirty five,
Flora getting themselves an SEC win as they get by
Mississippi State forty five to twenty eight, and James Madison, Man,
they were in the SCS three years ago. I don't
think I've ever seen a team have so much success
moving up to the FBS. They put a seventy spot

(28:11):
on the previously undefeated North Carolina Tarias. It was seventy
fifty the final, but the game was not even that close.
It was fifty three to twenty one and at the
half time break.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
So man, those James, how do you score that many
points in a game? Seventy to fifty? Yeah, I hope
you had the over in that one. That game.

Speaker 10 (28:33):
I wouldn't it was done by halftime. I know that much,
because really, man, it.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Doesn't seem possible, but you could share that many points
of the game. I think the scoreboard ran out of
light bulbs. But that's crazy.

Speaker 10 (28:44):
In the NFL, we do have some injury updates. George
Kittle downgraded to out for San Francisco's matchup with the
Rams on Sunday, So that's gonna be the All Injured
Reserve Bowl in Los Angeles on a Sunday. Is both
the Ram and forty nine Ers dealing with significant injury issues.
The Saints have downgradeed at Taysom Hill to doubtful. He's

(29:06):
got a chess injury, so New Orleans possibly might be
without their Swiss Army Knife. The Jaguars ruling out Titan
Evan Ingram for Monday night's game. Joe Mixon not traveling
with the Houston Texans, so he's been ruled out for
his matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. T Higgins though some
good news there. He said he was gonna play earlier today.

(29:29):
Zach Taylor said he was gonna play now he is
off of the injury or a poort. T Higgins expected
to be on the field Monday evening and in Major
League Baseball and going from the All Star Game to
the Minor League c J Abrams party. Yeah, well, I
can't blame him for that. He's at a casino. I mean,
that's just.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Like one o'clock and he got in at eight a m.
Or something like that, something crazy like that to the game. Yeah,
I went over four. That's I think I had something to.

Speaker 7 (29:58):
Do with it.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
By the way, I'll share you some is the way
baseball used to be, where there were no curfews and
everything else. You know, the legendary days of Mickey Mantle
and Whitey Ford and Billy Martin. Back in the fifties
of the New York Yankees. They would do all nighters.
And by the way, they would do all nighters with
like the members of the media I knew, old school
media guys. Explain to me the way it was in

(30:19):
those days, especially if you had a night game the
next day, fast sleep until noon, and you know, show
up the ballpark at three o'clock. They didn't have any
problem with it back in the day.

Speaker 10 (30:28):
Well, I guess after going over four and it was
said that by the team that was not performance related,
he has to get two three since the All Star break,
which I thought, okay, the going to the casino didn't help.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Well, I don't actually look at him as an All Star.
I mean, there's a lot of guys that make the
All Star team. You know, one team having represented, Yeah, exactly,
injury replacements all those guys. Yeah, all right, back to
you guys, all right, Ken, thank you very much, Kevin.
Why are there? Once again? We are coming to live
from the tire rag dot com studio Steve harbinci Belanos

(31:00):
here on Fox Football Saturday. So we're watching this Michigan
USC game here Montsey. Michigan leads USC twenty to seventeen.
And you know, this has been the big question for USCUCLA, Washington,
and Oregon as they moved from the Pac twelve into
the Big Ten conference and they're going into a conference

(31:22):
that is known to play a more physical style of football.
So Michigan changed their starting quarterback, the orsy guy. He's
only thrown for twenty two yards. Basically, they're running the ball.
In the first half, Michigan one hundred and ninety nine
yards rushing. USC had negative four. However, in the second half,
SC has ninety eight yards rushing and Michigan has six.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
So, you know, I've said this about Lincoln Riley going
back to his Oklahoma days. He has incredible skill, guys,
but his teams are soft. And this is a shock
to USC fans because if you look over the history
of USC football, going way back in the day when
they had dominant running games. Student body left, student body right.
They had dominant offensive linemen. They have so many great

(32:08):
offensive linemen, many of which are now in the Pro
Football Hall of Fame, and they seem to have lost
that under Lincoln Riley. Yes, you get a Caleb Williams,
you get greats receivers, running backs, everything else, but that's
not going to fly in the Big Ten. You have
got to be able to knock these guys down. And
it looks like here in the second half at least,

(32:30):
USC has definitely toughened up from what we saw in
the first half.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
No, it's completely a different game from the first half.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
I was watching the first half and it was a
little bit of shocking to me to see how much
Michigan was running the ball, because, as we heard.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Martin complain last week when he's doing the updates, Michigan
doesn't have a quarterback. We don't have a quarterback.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
So I was interested to see how the Wolverines were
going to approach this one because I did think USC
was going to be able to score a little bit more,
especially Michigan lost so many people, so many players, you know,
offensively offensively. I did not expect them to really pound
the ball to start the game like that. But it
looks like whatever Lincoln Riley said at halftime made the difference.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Tough enough, guys. I mean, come on, SC went into
this game as a four point favorite. Yeah, so they
were favor going this game. Michigan is not good. You
have to say it for what it is. Well, you know, again,
we have Martin Neo literally telling us that he is
rooting against Jim Harbaugh in every game that he coaches

(33:29):
the Chargers because he literally left the cupboard bear after
their National championship season. SC by the way, has just
stripped the ball for a fumble recovery, so s he
now has the ball still eight minutes to go in
the fourth quarter and Michigan leading this game by a
score of twenty to seventeen. All right, we have all

(33:51):
these NFL stories. I started off with this Brice Young
story with Adam, and I want to ask you about
this so you know, I get I say this all
the time when you have organizations that either have sustain
success or sustained non success for lack of a better word, words,

(34:16):
it starts at the top.

Speaker 10 (34:17):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
You know, I've talked about this with the Chargers organization.
I've mean hyper critical of Dean Spanos, and I'm closer
to that situation than i am any other ownership situation.
And I maintain any success they have had was never
by design. It was by accident. You know, like the

(34:41):
draft where they traded away the number one overall pick,
which was Michael Vick, end up with the fifth overall pick,
and they take Ladanian Tomlinson, and then when the first
pick of the second round they get Drew Brees, you know,
so all of a sudden they had a nice run
there to the end of the decade, and then things
unraveled quickly. But this David Tepper, I mean, wow, it

(35:02):
has been an absolute catastrophe. And as I said, you
brought this Canalis guy in, who, by the way, has
a very interesting background. If you don't know about Dave Canalis.
Dave Canalis was this essentially nobody. He was working at
El Camino Junior College here in southern California and somehow

(35:24):
started working at camps with Pete Carroll when Pete was
at USC and what turned out to be Pete Carroll's
last year at USC, he hired this guy to be
an assistant strength coach. Okay, so from a junior college guy,

(35:45):
you get a job at USC as an assistant strength coach.
After that one year, Pete Carroll goes to the Seahawks
and hires this guy to be his wide receivers coach
at the NFL level. So from jac to an assistant
strength coach, not even other assistant strength coaches at one

(36:07):
year at USC to suddenly be in a wide receivers
coach in the National Football He stayed with him for
thirteen years and last year obviously he went to Tampa
and got a lot of credit for, you know, working
with Baker Mayfield, which I guess is why Carolina hired
this guy to be a head coach. But he had
one job to do and it only took two weeks
to determine this guy not only was not up to

(36:28):
the job, he actually did the unthinkable and made Bryce
Young worse.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
But isn't that what you want?

Speaker 3 (36:35):
Isn't that what you want?

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Somebody that can make the tough decisions and not wait
it out.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Not saying this sucks for Bruce.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
This was not a tough decision. As we heard Canals
loses this locker, You have nothing to game with Andy
Dalton at quarterback at age thirty six, nothing even if
you even if he rattles off a few wins. Where
are you going with this? USC just scored a touchdown
and has now taking the lead over mission again?

Speaker 7 (37:00):
All right?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Well, where are you going with this? With Andy Dalton?

Speaker 7 (37:03):
Up?

Speaker 4 (37:03):
You're going somewhere in a different direction than with Bryce Young.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
You know Andy Dalton hasn't lost to the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
Yeah, I did not know, So I'm taking the Panthers, babe.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Yeah, well, I know he led the Bengals to the
playoffs a bunch of times, and every single time he
lost the game. All right, coming up on the other side, Oh,
it's time for a Heisman up day. Where do I stand?
You'll find out? This is Fox Football Saturday.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot Com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, Steve Harban, Monzieblan is he here Fox Football Saturday. We're
coming live from the tiraq dot com studios. All right,
it is that time?

Speaker 7 (37:51):
All right?

Speaker 2 (37:51):
I rarely mentioned this except for as many times as
I possibly can, I actually have a real Heisman vote.
Does my fourteenth year photty on the Heisman Trophy? Actually,
let me correct myself. It's my fifteenth year. That's a
lot of years.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
Well, see, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
There we go, fifteen years I've been voting for the Heisman.
I liked up days week on where I stand in
the three two one countdown to who's the best college
football player in the country. So let's get right to it.
Here is my current number three.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
Here on the fourth quarter snap, the Shaduur backpedals sets
trochit downfield into the end.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Zone, makes the crab high in the air. Did he
hold on touchdown?

Speaker 7 (38:32):
Touchdown?

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Colorado's That ball was throwing beautifully.

Speaker 11 (38:36):
The second strike of the night com Chadour took Travis
Travis Hunter. That is, of course, that's Mark Johnson from
lear Field. Last week he had a couple of touchdowns
and he also intercepted a pass.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Yeah, impressive, So I can I know we talk about
like the show Hey o TODDI of college football, a
guy that does it all and Colorad's two and one. Yeah,
Colorado can continue to win. He's got to be in
the conversation for best college football player in the country.
Travis Center, Colorado at number three. Here's my current number two.

Speaker 8 (39:11):
Give it to genty up the middle, thirty five point
thirty into the player fifty.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Thirty ton of ten thirty twenty ten Boise State is
without a point.

Speaker 5 (39:22):
Ask the genty seventy yards on the store another gifty touchdown?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
All right, Ashton Jenny didn't play last week. He'll play
this coming up. He's got a well he actually has
a game coming up against Portland State. This guy has
nine touchdowns in his first two games, and he's averaging
about two hundred and fifty yards rushing per game. So
I love to put an on quarterbacks in if they
are worthy. And Ashton genty Boise State is that guy.

(39:52):
By the way, That was Bob Baylor right there from
lear Field. All right, here is my current number one.
Here's war the play fakes to Fletcher, looks throws end
zone wide up and touchdown.

Speaker 7 (40:05):
Miami diving twirling.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Catch Poorler touchdown.

Speaker 8 (40:10):
It's a royal twenty one yards had a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
And the Hurricane party is on at hard Rock Stadium,
Miami Hurricanes Radio Network. There a quarterback, cam Ward, who
started his college career at Incarnate Word, then he went
to Washington State. Now he's at Miami. They're in the
top ten. In his first three games, completing seventy three
percent of his passes, he has already eleven touchdown passes,

(40:36):
has thrown just one interception. So cam Ward, the U quarterback,
is my current number one. Quin yours, by the way,
was my number one last week he got hurt in.
That Manning kid came in.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Yeah, that Manning kid. Yeah, arch Man and he's starting today.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
Yeah, everyone's looking at him like where did he get
the ability to run? Because his uncle neither one can run.
But his father, Cooper, the oldest of the Manning brothers,
actually was the best athlete, and his grandfather, Archie was
the kind of quarterback you've seen that arch Manning is.
We'll keep our eye in him, keep our eye Miller

(41:16):
Moss as well. For USC It could be a crazy
year for the Heights, and we got a lot of
NFL news to get to on the other side. This
is Fox Football Saturday, rolling along on another very busy
sports Saturday. This is Fox Football Saturday. We're broadcasting live
from the tire rack dot com Studios tire rack dot com.
We're gonna help get you there an unmatched selection, fast,

(41:37):
free shipping, free road as a protection over ten thousand
recommended installers. Tire rack dot com. The way tire buying
should be all right. Third and one for Michigan right now.
They had a sixty three yard run that set them
up as a first and goal and they have just
gotten a first down. So this unbelievable game where Michigan
really dominated the first half. Statistically, scoreboards said fourteen to

(42:01):
three Michigan. They were four point underdogs at home going
into this game against USC. The second half has been
all USC, but Klel Mullins had a sixty three yard
run to set up a first and goal, So we
are now inside a minute togo. Michigan is doing it
with nothing more than a running game. They are not

(42:23):
throwing the ball. They only have thirty two yards passing
in this game. When you think about it, you have
JJ McCarthy last year as a top ten heisman finisher.
They have completely abandoned the pass. I mean Michigan has
turned back the clocks one hundred years here to just
running the ball on every single play. But it's working
right now. So they are down two. They have a

(42:44):
second and goal right now again, Michigan trailing USC twenty
four to twenty. They have a second goal at the
three yard line, and there is a time out on
the field. So we got an exciting finish here that
two schools used to playing against each other in the
old Big Ten packed twelve days where they'd match up
in Rose Bowl games nineteen fifty seven and fifty eight,

(43:06):
the only two years that Michigan and US he actually
played in a regular season game. So see how this
finish goes here.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Manzi, No, I can't get over that run by Mullings.
There was a guy hanging on him and he kept going.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
He got through, he got through the line. Clean guy
came up to make a tackle, one of the defensive back.
He wrapped his arms around him, you know, below the waist,
and Mullens's just on him going and then broke free,
sort of spun away from another USC defender and then
turns around and there's nothing but open field.

Speaker 3 (43:39):
And that's what set them up to maybe win it.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
Right now, all right, fifty one seconds to go, second
in goal at the three yard line. Obviously they need
a touchdown and Michigan still has two timeouts left. So
even though they're running the ball, yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:53):
The run, oh no, they faked it, but that was Yeah,
that was a terrible throw.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
That was a terrible throw. And the court of is down.
So that was a wasted play and all of a sudden,
now it is going to be third in goal for Michigan.
At the three yard line. They were trying a little
play action and USC did not bite. They had a
single receiver in the end zone. He was well covered.
And the big story here, I mean, Michigan you look
at two hundred and eighty or as rushing, but most

(44:20):
of that was in the first half. So USC's defense
definitely toughened up in the second half. So we got
a third in goal for Michigan. Now forty seven seconds
to go, still two timeouts left for the Wolverines, and
we're going to see what they do here. They're going
to run the ball and go absolutely nowhere fourth and
goal and they're going to have to go for it

(44:40):
here Montci, you're down, you have to go. You're down four.

Speaker 4 (44:43):
I mean, they don't have an advantage because a snows
are going to run the ball, So it's just a
matter of how tough is SC, how tough are the Trojans.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
What's been interesting about Michigan in this game is that
they've had three huge runs. Two of them were touched
on runs of fifty three and forty one yards, and
then mowling sixty three yard run. Otherwise, you know, SC
hasn't been that bad against the run. But this is
going to be an interesting call for Michigan. And I

(45:12):
believe it was USC that called the time out to
set up this fourth and goal, So it's USC calling
a timeout to set up their defense. I'm still trying
to get used to this. I have to admit, you know,
the idea that UCLA and USC and Washington and Oregon
are now members of the Big Ten, which is actually

(45:33):
the Big eighteen, but they still call it the Big Ten.

Speaker 4 (45:35):
Don't confuse me more. Don't start saying Big eighteen, because
well they're starting to change.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
All right, here we go. This is it. So a
Michigan fourth and goal right now, they need a touchdown.
And like I said, the line was four and SC's
winning by four. It isn't amazing how.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
That it's amazing how they just know and it's a
straight and it's in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Touchdown Michigan. Wow, it looked like he might be stopping
this Mullings guy. This guy, I mean, Donovan Edwards obviously
is a great running back. But this Mullings guy sixteen
carries one hundred and fifty eight yards before that carry,
so he got a one yard touchdown run. Actually I
thought that was longer than that. It did look like
it was longer than so one hundred and fifty nine

(46:18):
yards on the ground. He had the sixty three yard
run to set up of this situation. Now s he's
not out of it. Miller Moss pretty good quarterback for USC,
and he's had a great second half in this game,
three touchdown passes in the second half to get sc
back in this game. So after this extra point, USC's
gonna have about thirty seven seconds from that kickoff. So

(46:40):
there you go, right there. Michigan now leading by a
score of twenty seven to twenty four. There was a
Thursday night game that I have to admit, I don't
have what I need to watch Thursday night football right now.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
Okay, Amazon Prime, I don't have it. Okay, you get
it my login.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
Well, it was like I was like going to be
shocked of the I mean, the Patriots got the win
against the Bengals, because the Bengals always lost in the
first two weeks of the season wait tradition. But this
was a reality check. I mean, in New England has
literally no offense, and obviously the Jets defense, which hasn't
looked great, it's going to look great against a team

(47:20):
that has no offense, right like the Patriots. But really
the story here was just to me, this bizarre Robert
sala of course, and anything Aaron Rodgers says is strange
to me.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
You know, this was a perfect time for the Jets
to have this game, just because you said the defense
started a little You even pointed it out to Adam
Kaplan last week.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
I thought the defense was gonna be good, right, They.

Speaker 4 (47:47):
Didn't look as good as the first two games, and
so this was a perfect time for them to have
this game, to kind of snap out of it and
get going early in the season. Aaron Rodgers, though the
game was a little bit boring, I'm not gonna lie
to you.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
Didn't miss a lot.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
It was a little I didn't expect it to be
much of the game.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
It was a little bit boring. But Aaron Rodgers also
played really well. He looked really good.

Speaker 4 (48:07):
He even said after the game that he felt pretty
comfortable and he felt a little bit young. But how
you take anything away from that, aside from the interaction
with Robert Sala, You can't. That is the big, the
big story of that game. When it happened, I had
to rewind because I was like, did he just did he?

Speaker 3 (48:28):
Was he that like Stern with Robert Sala?

Speaker 4 (48:31):
And I rewinded it and I watched it again and
I was like, man, there is so much going on
in this five second interaction.

Speaker 3 (48:38):
So many thoughts went through my head of like, Aaron,
people already don't like you, why are you giving them AMMO?

Speaker 2 (48:45):
Why did you handle I don't like I think Aaron
Rodgers cares and he never I mean, he has said
many outrageous things that have offended a lot of people
over the years, and he has made it infinitely clear
he does there.

Speaker 4 (49:01):
But there's a difference with not caring and kind of
coming off like a jerk, Like I.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
Think, well, that's part of it. He's come off like
a jerk a lot.

Speaker 4 (49:09):
A lot, right, So I just it's hard for me
to believe that you're gonna keep giving aml like that.
Hard for me to believe that you didn't think a
camera was on you at that moment. You should expect
a camera is on you twenty four to seven because
you're Aaron Rodgers, especially on the sideline, because I'm pretty
sure they had just scored.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
So to me, it's like, you know, people are watching you.

Speaker 4 (49:27):
And the way he kind of just looked at Robert
sala it was very like alpha versus alpha, but he
wanted to make sure that he knew I'm the alpha.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
I'm the captain now, not you. I'm the captain and
I get the whole.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
Well, what the question is, what does that do for
the locker room? Oh? Yeah, right, because I mean the
knock on Aaron Rodgers has been as great a talent
as he is, and there's no denying his talent. Okay,
the talent is well documentary. He's a first ballot Hall
of Famer. But is he a locker room guy? Is
looking with all his he's He's been to one super

(50:04):
Bowl one No, yeah, and that was a long time ago.
In fact, his one run to the Super Bowl was
the year I had the first time voting for the Heisman.

Speaker 3 (50:17):
Wow, look at that bringing it all together. Bring it
all together.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
I mean, where were you in twenty ten?

Speaker 3 (50:24):
I was in college.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Yeah, that's the only time that Aaron Rodgers has been
to a Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (50:32):
Yeah, okay, yeah, it sounds like a while ago. Yes,
I understand that. But to many people, Aaron Rodgers is
the goat. So many people love the way he put Again,
tell me I'm wrong. How many people say he's the
greatest quarterback.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
Well, here's what they say about him. You can't compare
his resume to a Tom Brady or or any of
these other elite you know, multiple super Bowl winning quarterbacks.
The argument is, well, he has the most talent, yes,
of any quarterback. His ability to you know, throw on
the move and you know, read defense and all this

(51:07):
different stuff. Right, But that doesn't mean that he To me,
he's a hard guy to root for.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
I understand. I think a lot of people feel that way.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
It's hard because he comes off like a jerk all
the time.

Speaker 2 (51:22):
I mean, as much as I'm getting sick and tired
of the Chiefs, it's hard to root against Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
I think a lot of people are rooting against him.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
Well, maybe because of his wife situation.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
No, no, I think just people are tired of the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
I mean, but I mean, there's nothing offensive about Mahomes.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
He is nothing offensive about Mahomes. No, he's nothing, no, no.

Speaker 4 (51:44):
No, no.

Speaker 3 (51:44):
Maybe his voice might offend you, but that's it. That's
as far as well.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
Mike Tyson had a very you know, here's the toughest
man on the planet. It's like, you're Mike Tyson, really right, Yeah,
you don't sound so tough to me. Don't hit me, You're.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Rct bok over with Patrick. Mahomes is not him.

Speaker 4 (52:03):
It's just the winning aspect that the Chiefs just keep winning.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
With Aaron Rodgers. It's him. It's him that leaves a
bad taste in your mouth.

Speaker 7 (52:12):
It does.

Speaker 2 (52:13):
But right now the Jets are two and one, and
that's a lot better than we were looking. Again, though,
it's hard. It's hard to gauge any kind of win
at home against the team as inept offensively as the
New England pat Here are all right, we got other
games we're gonna get to on the slate four tomorrow.
It is hard to believe that in week three that
we have this many marquee matchups, and it's always about

(52:37):
two guys, the quarterback and the coach, who in week
three already find themselves on the chopping block. Which coach
is in most danger going into this week? We're gonna
tell you this is Fox Football Saturday. Steve Harbin and
Motzi Bolanos Here Fox Football Saturday, coming alive from the

(52:57):
tire rack dot Com studios. Now, remember, after the show,
our podcast will go up, So if you miss any
of today's show, check out the podcast. Just search Fox
Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts, and be sure
to follow, rate and review the podcast. Again, just search
Fox Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts, and you'll
see this show posted right after we get off the air.
All right, it's only week three of the NFL, but

(53:18):
already there are coaches on the hot seat. We've already
seen a quarterback take the bench. That's Bryce Young in Carolina.
But before we go to coaches on the hot seat,
I want to point out why certain coaches are really good.
And we have this game tomorrow between your Chargers and
the Steelers. You mentioned earlier when we talked to Adam Kaplan,
everyone had this one circled as a matchup of unbeatens.

(53:42):
Not But here's my favorite stat of the first two
weeks of the NFL. So the Chargers are two and zero.
Justin Herbert has two hundred and seventy four yards passing
total in two yames. JK. Dobbins has two hundred and
sixty six yards rushing. So Dobbins has almost as many

(54:05):
yards rushing as Justin Herbert has passing yards in the
first two weeks of the season. So this is the
genius of Jim Harbaugh. He comes in and you got
this celebrated quarterback, and he was singing Justin Herbert's praise
constantly in the offseason, what a talent, unbelievable, and he

(54:29):
basically took the ball out of his hands. Why because
they've used three number one picks on offensive lineman. I'm
gonna call it right now, barring injury, Joe Halt will
be in the Hall of Fame. He is that good.
So you used three number one picks on offensive lineman
over the last four or five years. And he walks

(54:51):
in and says, Okay, I know we got this celebrated
quarterback and Justin Herbert, but that's not the makeup of
this team. We're thin and whit receiver, but we have
our strength on the offensive line. We're going to run
the football. I like Herbert's stance. He seems to get it,
but he's taking Justin Herbert out of the conversation. As

(55:15):
a premier quarterback, he doesn't care. His job as coach
is to win, and he quickly evaluated what he had
and he says, look, our best chance to win is
to dominate up front, use the big studs that we've
drafted in the first round, and run the football. That

(55:38):
makes a great coach.

Speaker 4 (55:39):
I mean, I think Justin Herbert is liking winning instead
of having to be this elite quarterback. And it's not
that he isn't an elite quarterback, but I obviously as
a Chargers fan and as a Herbert fanly got'm like, okay,
we're not seeing you know, Herbert be flashy and show off.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
But this could also be the strategy because you.

Speaker 4 (56:02):
Do you do want to have a run game. You
don't want teams to think that you don't have a
run game. You want them to think that you are
gonna do damage, whether it's throwing or running. And I
like that he's establishing this early on because I think
it's gonna benefit obviously the Chargers long term. When teams
are gonna they're gonna be I don't know what's gonna
happen in this game. I don't know which way they're
gonna approach us offensively, and so that's what's really exciting

(56:25):
about it.

Speaker 3 (56:25):
But yeah, I like what I see, even though it's
not the.

Speaker 4 (56:31):
Justin Herbert show that maybe some of us wanted.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
I can't. I like winning too, so I'm not complaining.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Well, again, this has been the problem for the Charges,
going back to the Philip Rivers days. Right, you have
an elite quarterback. It's not translating into winning. Throwing the
ball constantly doesn't necessarily punch a ticket. You gotta have balance.
But the idea that Jim Harball looked at this team
and said, I'm sorry, We're not throwing the ball thirty
five times a game. Not with this team. We are

(56:59):
gonna run the ball, all right. You mentioned earlier in fact,
you were talking with Adam Kaplan about Doug Peterson's situation.
Doug Peterson, who obviously won a Super Bowl with the Eagles,
out coach Belichick that day in the Eagles winning with
a backup quarterback, no less. But he seems to be

(57:21):
one of those guys because he came to Jacksonville first year,
cleaned up the mess that was left behind by urban Meyer.
Then they gave the playoffs. Everything seems to be on
the on the right track, and then last year the
team collapses and now they're off to an oh and
two start, they have to go to Buffalo, oh and three,
it's over. It's it's There are very few teams that

(57:44):
have started oh and three and end up in the postseason. Some,
but it's a very short list. And he seems to
be one of those coaches. And I've seen this in
a lot of sports, Buck Showalter and base ball, Larry
Brown in the NBA. Guys that can seemingly fix a

(58:06):
mess but have a hard time sustainingate. That's what happened
to him in Philadelphia and now looks like it's same
path in Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (58:14):
Yeah, and last year Jacksonville never looked great, never, not once,
not once? Did you watch them, Blaye, You're like, oh, Okay,
that's the team we've been waiting for. It was a
tough season for the Jags, and I just don't see
how Jacksonville puts the blame on Trevor Lawrence. Unfortunately, that's
why I said it is Doug Peterson in the hot seat,

(58:35):
because they're not gonna not gonna fire Trevor Lawrence. They're
gonna bench Trevor Lawrence. It's gonna be on him, and
we I did not know that things seemed to be
a little bit. Adam Kaplan did not use the word toxic,
but it seems like there's a little bit of a
toxic relationship happening. Whether it's between Peterson and Trevor Lawrence
or in the lock there's a disconnect. There is a disconnect,

(58:58):
and they have not looked good for the first two
weeks at all.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
Well, when we talk about an oh and three start,
could be hear Deathnell. As far as making the playoffs, Hello, Ravens, Yeah,
Ravens are oh and two. They're going into Dallas. Dallas
humiliated last week at home by the Saints. Is that
going to happen again? If the Ravens go owen three,

(59:25):
it's long odds for them to make the postseason. And
you know, John Harbaugh has been there forever and obviously
I don't think he's going anywhere but after what was
an ill advised game plan in that AFC Championship game
against the Chiefs last year, and a potential oh and
three start this year, let's even.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
Get past week three here for a second, Steve. The
Ravens are not in an ideal position because after they
face the Cowboys, they play the Bills. After they play
the Bills, they play the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
And at that point is Joe Burrow and his groove, Well, they.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
Better get right. We have two money games, by the way, this.

Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Week, yes we do, yes, we do.

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
So the Bengals will be the late later money. Well
they better win this week. Yeah, yeah, no, and I
fully expect them to win. But yeah, I mean the Ravens.
And then, you know, again for the Cowboys, you go
into the season with a lame duck coach. I mean,
you don't extend McCarthy's contract despite the fact of what
they've had three straight years twelve plus you know, wins,

(01:00:29):
so you don't extend his deal after that embarrassing loss
of the Packers at home in the postseason. But it
is very hard, and it's very easy to create a
disconnect between a team and a coach when the coach
is a lame duck coach.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
Yeah, yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
I mean the loser of this game if the Cowboys
lose again at home and start one and two after
giving Dak Prescott all that money, are you making are.

Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
Making a bold prediction?

Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
I'm just saying the loser of this game.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Yeah, you're saying that the coach is going to have
to do.

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Some serious soul searching, like where are we? And you're like, wow,
come on, three games in the season. Yeah, well, either
it's going to be the one and two Cowboys or
the oh and three Ravens and the oh and two
Cowboys losing two at home.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
But we heard Adam say that it's not really a
home field advantage nowadays.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Okay, try to explain that. If you're Jerry Jones sitting
in your you know, on your throne there with all
the people that are paying how much for those season tickets.
I mean, the price tag on those tickets is insane,
and those corporate boxes that everybody bought into insane. Money

(01:01:46):
is being spent. And if they are going to these
games and the team lays an egg, Jerry's hearing it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
He's been hearing it though. For years.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Okay, this this brings up a much. This brings up
another point. First of all, you're one hundred percent right
Mancia on this. Here's here's the problem. We talked about
the David Tepper situation in Carolina Guys thirty one and
sixty eight since he took over as the owner of
that team.

Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
Here's the problem. There's no price to be paid if
you're not successful, because it doesn't matter how bad your
team is. In the NFL, the owners are making money
and every year they make more money and more money
there are that you're never losing money in the NFL.

(01:02:35):
It is literally the safest investment than any billionaire can make.
That's why every time there is a team on the market,
the price tag goes through the stratosphere on these franchises.
Six billion now is the going rate for an NFL
franchise because it doesn't matter. You could do nothing, you
could be a temper, it doesn't matter. There's no penalty

(01:02:58):
to be paid if your team sucks because your fans
will still show up and that television money keeps pouring
in and there's equal distribution of that TV money.

Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
And the cowboys of it sucked, they're not ending a
season two and fifteen.

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Twenty nine years without trips to the conference.

Speaker 12 (01:03:22):
Right, But it's like it's that fine line of entertainment
and fun but also devastation that keeps bringing fans back.

Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
But you bring up the point, it doesn't matter, it
doesn't how much money you're asking these fans to pay.
They're gonna show.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
They're gonna show up.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
It's the Cowboys, and his attitude is fine, you want
to give up your seat, there's one hundred people will
buy that seat right now exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
And he knows that, he knows that.

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
He of course he wants to win, but he's just
happy being the Cowboys owner.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):

find out what is trending right now, on a very
busy day in college football. Kevin Wyart has been watching
these games every second of every game. I don't know,
how are you watching twenty games constantly?

Speaker 10 (01:04:36):
I have three on and that's about as best as
I can do, but it is helping a lot. That's
typically what I have at my house. I have the TV, laptop, tablet,
sometimes even my cell phone out watching all of these
games because we've got just so many good games each
Saturday in college football, especially as the season goes along
and we get out of some of these FCSFBS matchups,
and one game I have to keep reminding myself this

(01:04:58):
is a Big Ten game SE and Michigan. It feels
like a non conference game. Maybe I'm just still used
to the Pac twelve still existing at least in its
old form. But Michigan and USC as the Trojans playing
their first conference game as a member of the Big Ten.

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
And it was a.

Speaker 10 (01:05:15):
Fourteen to three lead for Michigan early on, but USC
slowly battled their way back eventually took the lead, but
then Michigan would get the last score.

Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
Brettison close Mullings deep Orgie takes the snap hand off
Coalel Mullings running left into the.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
End zone, touchdown, Wolverines to wit thirty seven seconds to go.
Coleel Mullings over, We're and the Wolverines are back on top.

Speaker 10 (01:05:44):
That was John Jansen on the Michigan Sports Network from Learfield,
Khalil Mullings getting that go ahead touchdown, but in that
same drive, he had a huge sixty three yard run
with a little over two minutes ago to get the
Wolverines into the red zone to set up that go
ahead score. And got an interesting tidbit from Bruce Feldman.

(01:06:06):
It posted not too long ago that Khalil Mullings three
hundred and seventy one yards as a high school senior
so far this season for the Wolverines four hundred and
twenty nine rushing yards. So he's certainly putting the Wolverines
on his back, especially today because Michigan get this thirty
two passing yard.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Well they brought they decided to make a change at
quarterback and they brought in their running quarterback to run
this offense. It's a change of strategy. I get the
coach's credit. And obviously it worked. They were underdogs at
home today against USC.

Speaker 10 (01:06:40):
And it worked and they did it playing old school
Big ten they call what three yards in the cloud
of dust. USC certainly found out what that was like
today against Michigan as they get the big win as
USC suffers their first loss of the season. Checking in
on some games going on right now. Utah and Oklahoma
State another game I have to remind myself as a

(01:07:01):
conference matchup, the Utes on top of the Cowboys twenty
two to nineteen. They've got under two minutes ago over
in Stillwater, and I believe it's the Cowboys with the
ball right now. Yes, they do have the ball on
offense right now, so a chance for them to possibly
a tie or even win this game in regulation. Elsewhere
in a college football number seven, Missouri and Vanderbilt, they're

(01:07:25):
nearing the end of regulation there, this one still knotted
up at twenty points a piece smun TCU forty one
to twenty eight. The Mustangs lead the horn Frog. Sunny
Dikes ejected from this game. He got two on sportsman
like conduct penalties assessed on him. So Dyke's off of
the sideline for the remainder of that matchup. Everything else

(01:07:47):
involving a ranked team has already concluded from earlier today
number three Ohio State blows out Marshall forty nine to fourteen,
tenth rank Penn State fifty six nothing winners against Kent State,
and number sixteen LSU shutting out Usea in the second half.
It was tied at seventeen at the break, but the
Tigers would win this one thirty four to seventeen. Number
seventeen Notre Dame trail three nothing in the second quarter

(01:08:09):
against Miami of Ohio, but the Irish do score four
unanswered touchdowns to win at twenty eight to three. Number
nineteen Louisville thirty one nineteen winners against Georgia Tech, twenty
aeth thranked Iowa State blows out Arkansas State fifty two
to seven, and number twenty one Clemson a fifty nine
to thirty five win against NC State and number twenty
three Northern Illinois man top of the college football world

(01:08:32):
a couple of weeks ago when they beat Notre Dame. Well,
they've come crashing back down to earth. They have suffered
a home loss in overtime to Buffalo. As for the NFL,
we do have some injury updates. George Kittle has officially
been downgraded to out for the forty nine ers in
their matchup against the Rams this week, and so both

(01:08:52):
San Francisco and Los Angeles is going to be without
several key guys. We do have both quarterbacks playing at least,
but many key pieces will be out for both squads.
Taysom Hill of the Saints, their Swiss army knife, has
been downgraded to doubtful as he's been dealing with a
chest injury. The Saints guess, excuse me. The Jaguars have

(01:09:13):
ruled out tight end Evan Ingram for Monday. T Higgins,
though saying he will play. Zach Taylor said he will play.
He is now officially off of the injury report, so
he does look good to go. But one for Bengal
who will not be playing. Joe Mixon, the Texans wunner back,
has been downgraded to out. He is not even traveling
with the team to Minnesota this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Back to you guys, tough break there, because Mixon has
been off to a huge start for them to get
the season going. So yeah, scrambling with all your fantasy
football out there, I am sure all right once again,
we're comingy alive from the tire rack dot Com studios.
All right, now it is time for a segment that
we started with the start of this NFL season, a

(01:09:55):
segment that has no name.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
We're figuring it out now.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
We were talking about this last week. Patrick said he
would get this thing under control or a steam producer.
That would be me. Hello, how are you Patrick doing?
Good doing? Do we have a name for this segment.
We're figuring it out. It's still working for Ogress, like
Monzi said, so right now, the working title is Bolognos
Versus Hartman, Bolognos versus Hartman. Okay, be bolder, all right, So,

(01:10:23):
but there are some changes. This week, Patrick is going
to give us three NFL games that we literally have
no idea what he's gonna throw at us. I'm gonna
set this because I change the rules, so right, So basically,
he's gonna ask us three questions. Monzi, He's gonna give
you the game and say pick a winner. Forget the
points spread, just pick a winner. The second thing he's

(01:10:43):
gonna ask about the game is he's gonna tell us
what the over under is on the game. Now, this
is a risk reward. So in other words, you could say,
I'm not really interested in that, but if you do,
go for it and say I'm gonna take the over
or the under, and you're right, you get a bonus point,
but if you get it wrong, you lose a point. Yep,

(01:11:04):
And then we have one more layer, and that is
a prediction of something that is so off the wall
that you think could occur in this game. Patrick will
be the judge whether it's worthy, and if you get
it right, there will be another bonus point. If you're wrong,
no penalty. All right, So there we go, Hi, Patrick,
we're ready? All right, Well, I'm ready for you both here.

Speaker 7 (01:11:27):
Now.

Speaker 9 (01:11:27):
I won't go into the logistics of it, but I'll
at least update everybody when we're at score wise after
last week, Moncey still lead in the clubhouse. Four to
two is a score, Steve, you at least got some
You are two four.

Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
You put up another dub. I'm like, how did I
not pick Atlanta? I know, like nobody pick Atlanta.

Speaker 9 (01:11:52):
By the way, can we also highlight that you had
bold pick of Michael Penix joins the game. Not only
did he not turn the game Eagles?

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Also yes, yeah, yeah, well really I think I inspired Kirkcusins.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
What I did exactly what it is?

Speaker 7 (01:12:08):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
What is our first game? First game, Moncey, Steve.

Speaker 9 (01:12:12):
Okay, the Houston Texans are going up at my Minnesota Vikings.
Texans are one and a half point favorites. Straight up, Steve,
who we going first?

Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
This is a tough game. Really is a tough game.
I'm sorry I c J. Stroud versus Sam Darnold. Yes,
I know the games in Minnesota, but the Texans are
for real and they're only getting better. So I'm gonna
go with the Houston Texans to win on the road
against the Vikings.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Okay, so I don't disagree that c J.

Speaker 4 (01:12:48):
Stroud is the real deal, but right now he's actually
holding onto the ball a little bit longer than I
think he should be. And the Vikings are the only
leaders in sacks, quarterback hits and co Leeague leaders in
quarterback pressures.

Speaker 3 (01:13:06):
I know it's an early season.

Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
I get all that, but you know, losing Danielle Hunter,
I think it's really impressive what the Vikings have managed
to do.

Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
I'm taking the Vikings card.

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
To win at home against the Texans.

Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
Oh, I'm happy with that. Now.

Speaker 9 (01:13:25):
The other caveat that Steve has inpluded I have are
over under the score final score tally is forty six
and a half over under Steven Monsey.

Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
If you would like to jump in, yeah, go for
say six and a half forty So you're looking at
like a twenty four to twenty one would be an under.
I'm not touching it. Steve's not touching it. That's no
for Steve.

Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
I'm not touching it either. I don't like that.

Speaker 9 (01:13:58):
Yeah, is there anything bold we want to do here?
Or like, want to throw a shot in the dark
or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Let me think about this a bullseye.

Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
Perhaps I'm gonna say. I don't know how. I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
C J.

Speaker 3 (01:14:15):
Stroud gets sacked five times?

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
You know what? That is bold? I like that, I
actually do based on what I do. You know what
I'm saying specific.

Speaker 3 (01:14:24):
To that, I like that five sacks on stud all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
Right, I am going to go for one. I'm going
to predict. Okay, I'm gonna how about this? Is this outrageous? Okay?
Sam Darnold will have more touchdown passes, not the equal
more touchdown passes than c J. Stroud and still lose
the game. I like Okay, I like that. That's why

(01:14:51):
I was I was leaning over in this game. I
do think there'll be a shootout, but I'm not one
hundred percent commits on the over under because there's a
but yeah, I'll say that. It that Sam Donald has
more touchdown passes than Stroud, but Stroud in the text
and still win the game. I like that. I'm gonna
count that for both of your bulls. All right. Well,
on the other side, we'll get our other two games

(01:15:12):
in here in the still to be renamed. If you
have any suggestions. Bolanos versus Hartman our NFL picks. This
is Fox Football Saturday. Steve Harvin and Monzie Bolano's here
at Fox Football Saturday. We're alive from the tai iraq
dot Com studios are fabulous supporting cast. Kevin wy Are

(01:15:33):
jumping in today. I know Kevin just watching multiple games
and trying to keep us updated on everything. So Kevin,
great job as always, Mary mac she's one of the
emerging superstars here at Fox Sports Radio at such a
young age. It's amazing, truly amazing, just getting better all

(01:15:55):
the time. Thank you so much, Mary Mack. And then
of course Patrick is our esteem producer, Sir. We have
young but powerful talent on the other side of the glass.
Yeah here a sports radio. Uh so, Patrick, we still
have two more games to get here. And now do
we actually have a name for a segment? Has there?
We were still working.

Speaker 9 (01:16:14):
I was working on it, but I was floating some
out there for any any listeners. The one I was
kind of floating just a mons was I believe it
was Hartman versus Belgios grid Iron Gambles maybe or Hartman
and Blogos grid Iron gambles.

Speaker 2 (01:16:29):
Well, first of all, ladies, first ladies and alphabetically firstman,
grid Iron gambles. We could do that. That's our gambles.
All right, Yeah, we could play. We could cook well. Mean,
if hated that, she would tell me she does not
hate that.

Speaker 4 (01:16:45):
I would have told you Patrick, that is true, she said.

Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
She the time down, write it down. It's better than
a week come out.

Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
All right there? All right, So our first game is done.
What's the second second game we have? The Detroit Lions
are on the road. They are taking on the Azona Cardinals.
Lions are three point favorites, even though on the road.
And you know what, let's flip this ladies first. As
we said, Mancy, you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
Guys, I don't like this game at all. In any way,
shape or form. Okay, I don't think the Lions have
looked very as good as.

Speaker 4 (01:17:27):
They ended last season. I feel like they're just kind
of iroing things out. I mean, I picked the lines
to go to the super Bowl, so it's not like
I don't think they're gonna get there.

Speaker 3 (01:17:34):
That's not what I'm saying. I just think they're still
iroing things out all of a sudden.

Speaker 4 (01:17:38):
Last week, Marvin Harrison Junior, who was on a milk
carton in week.

Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
One, appears in week two. Thank you for that one. Yes,
So I am gonna I'm gonna take the Cardinal beaton
wow at home?

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
Who? I feel bad because I believe me, I obviously
know more about the Cardinals than everyone else here these days.
I love the Cardinals in this game. But if you're
taking the Cardinals, no way. I'm gonna go with the Lions.

Speaker 3 (01:18:08):
In this game.

Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
Let's go go to the Lions in this game? Now,
what will give me an overunder on this one?

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Over under?

Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Steven Monsei? It is fifty one and a half is
the over under? What are we failing? Were going bold
with that? We're taking it?

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
Oh, give me a second, give me one segment though,
let me, let me, let me, let mean.

Speaker 4 (01:18:26):
Okay, give me a second, give me a second, hold
up letter cook, let me play out, Let me.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
Twenty seven to twenty four would be fifty one. Twenty
eight twenty four would be fifty two.

Speaker 9 (01:18:41):
Would be meaning no defense is being played and it's
a shootout, well almost borderline shootout time.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
That's a big number, fifty one, big number.

Speaker 4 (01:18:49):
Big which is I feel like you're tricking me, because
I want to say, under, I feel like you're tricking
me here.

Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
That is a big number.

Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
I'll mean, give you an idea. The overrunner on the
charger steer the game is thirty four and a half, yeah,
which I think it's the biggest overrunder on the board.

Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
I'm not going to touch that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
I am touching it. I am going for I'm risking
everything right now. I'm already down too, So all right,
so I'm picking the Lions on the road. If they
are going to win this game, they have to outscore
the Cardinals. I am going over over fifty one and
a half for the bonus point. I'm risking a loss here,

(01:19:29):
but I'm taking the Lions over. So it's over fifty
one and a half for these teams, and that's how
you really are alliance turn That's how you do it,
That's how you do it. There you go, Well, let's
go move on to number three. That's as bold enough
as it is.

Speaker 9 (01:19:45):
Yes, last and final we have on Monday night the
Jacksonville Jaguars facing the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
Buffy is five point favorites. Steve, how are we feeling?
I feel like Buffalo and a wipeout complate. Take the
Bills in this game?

Speaker 4 (01:20:01):
Bills confidently take the Bills in this game?

Speaker 9 (01:20:04):
Okay, no problem over under for this one is forty
five and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
How we looking and feeling on this?

Speaker 7 (01:20:11):
Mancy?

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Do we have a taker?

Speaker 7 (01:20:12):
Steve?

Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Do we have a taker?

Speaker 7 (01:20:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
I don't know. I don't think so if I did
it once. But I'm going to give you an outrageous
prediction and it's gonna be the same one. No, no, no,
you go first, you know what? Yeah, ladies first, Moncy,
what is it? I want?

Speaker 7 (01:20:24):
The bold?

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
Mac Jones is going to go in the game. Lawrence
will get benched. That's what you're gonna say. Weren't you
you were going to say that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:33):
I Am going to go a step further, my outrageous
prediction is the Jaguars will get shut out zero points?
Is that outrageous?

Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
On that that is?

Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
Both are outrageous. I love so both of those could
actually happen. I'll put it this way. If they put
up zero points, Mac Jones is going right, Jones, that's true.
So I feel like one start of connected to the other.
All right, good stuff. Wow, here's what I know. We

(01:21:07):
got some terrific games tomorrow in the NFL. We really
do amazing matchups and critical games. Even it's only Week three.
Enjoy the rest of your college football Saturday.

Speaker 7 (01:21:18):
Keep it here.

Speaker 2 (01:21:18):
