Speaker 3 (01:39):
But first, uh, what's what? How how is Elijah doing?
Man Like, let's let's check in, man like, what what?

Speaker 6 (01:46):
What's the update? I saw the pictures coming in and
stuff like that. What what what's the what's the word?

Speaker 5 (01:52):
And just just happy, man, Just unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
I think he had five toggers last night, three kisses
in a touchdown he catches a hundred plus yards.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Man.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I got a chance to talk to coach Franklin on
the sideline.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Flew in there on the helicopter.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Yeah yeah, yeah, so we got the chance to chop
it up and you know, he says, it's gonna bring
him up there, man, and see how it ain't over
until it's over.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
You know, some people may not know this, but uh,
you know, Elijah does have Penn State and state line
in his blood. He does, and he does he's currently
uh at Michigan State Ohio State today.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Okay, so you know we do. He does bleed green
also he does Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Man, just doing really well man. And you know, I
can't say enough. Man, it's the most humbling thing for
a parent to watch your kids just go out there
and just do well and be healthy and do what
they love to do.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Man, So true is just humble.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
Shots out that e Man, I gotta say, I'm gonna
get my guys some propers. They went into uh, San
Diego and played I think they're called Mara Mesa or
something to that effect that I believe the name of
the team is.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
He got two sacks.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Had had a whole bunch of tackles, did real well,
and before the game started he was made aware of
the fact that he had been upgraded and received his
fourth star.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Now, I know stars don't matter.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
A lot of us don't think stars matter, and I
don't really get into all of that. You know that
I think has just been to keeping focused and keeping
going in the right direction of what he needs to do.
But I tell you what, that boy hit me up
last night so pumped up that he got his fourth
star and he's worked his tail off to to be
able to be in the situation to to be awarded that.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
So shouts out the man. Man shouts out to the.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Gotta keep doing it, gotta keep popping off, speaking of
somebody who has been doing it and doing it well.
Wasn't sure if the Buffalo Bills. I felt like they
would still be the Bills until somebody proves that they're
not the Bills.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
But they have been very, very impressive.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
And you know what with this three and oh start,
they asked Josh Allen about what the situation was, and
you be the judge of it, but it kind of
sounded like, well, you know, well, you be the judge
of it.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Listen to what he had to say and what it
could be compared to.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
When guys get to buy into this and really understand
like I may not get the ball four or five
times thrown to me a game, but the one or
two times I do, I'm gonna have opportunities be in
the en zone. And it's a fun and wonderful thing
when you had a bunch of guys that don't care
about the stats, they don't care about the touchdowns.

Speaker 8 (04:46):
All right, Shade, is that man?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
All right?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Now?

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Now to you your response.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
Here's what he had to say in response to the
first reaction that probably everybody who listened to this sound
by head.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Here's the response.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Now, I know there's a lot of people talking out there. Again,
I'm not trying to tear down anybody. I've loved everybody
that I've played with, you know, And you don't have
to tear other people down to build each other up.
And you know, we're building each other up right now,
and that's all we're trying to do. We're trying to
stay together as a team, and we're really caring about
each other. And you know, everybody in this building's got
that feeling. What do you mean by you know what

(05:31):
I mean? You know what I mean I with former
whether it's former players. Yeah, and again, I love I
love fourteen, I still do. But I everyone wants to
keep making this thing a thing. And you know, we're
so focused on what's going on inside of our building
and that's the only thing that we're caring about right now.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
What's y'all's saying? Man, stand on it.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I mean he called his number, he called his number,
didn't say his name, But stand on what you just said.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
I personally believe that the Bills of fools goal. Oh
that's what I believe. Oh.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I mean, it's only the first month of the season
and you have Khalil Shakur, who is a good wide receiver. Uh,
you traded a way to pick to the for the
to the Kansas City Chief. You could have had Isaiah Revue,
but you took Kean Coleman. I think he's a really

(06:28):
good receiver. You have James Cook, who I believe is
a he's a he's a good running back, and you
sent it was singletary to the Bills because Dave Boy
had a relationship with him. But I think as a
season begins to progress and we start to learn the

(06:49):
identities of these.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Football teams, I believe I still believe.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
That the Buffalo Bills won't make the playoffs mm hmm,
even with the start that they have, because when it
comes down to it in the AFCAS between the Jets
and the Miami Dolphins, I still think that they are
the third best team in the division. We can get
into the October, November, December, and then we will be

(07:17):
able to clarify who the Buffalo Buffalo Bills really are.
And I think that you know, nobody really has an
identity up to this point in the first month of
the season, and we will see how the Buffalo Bills
continue to progress offensively, because I don't really believe that

(07:37):
they're good defensively. The offense is really keeping them and
winning football games for them right now. But when we
get into November and December, we will see who the
real Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills really are.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
They were the third best team in the division. They're
the second best team in the division now second. Yeah, yeah,
well too, they're better than the Miami Dolphins. So there's
the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
The Dolphins are gonna start Tyler Huntley at a quarterback tomorrow.
He just got there. He just got there. And so
I don't know, y'all believers, y'all buyers. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I don't, yeah, I am. I don't know if the
Bills are fools gold. But I'm slightly wplexed to a
degree because early on they played the Cardinals, and I'll
give them credit, they were down I believe seventeen, and
they came back and won that game. Next game they

(08:37):
played the Dolphins, too. It goes down, but they were
winning pretty handily before Tua got hurt. Then they just
blew the Jags, I mean blew them out. Now we're
going to see because you got the Ravens, you got
the Texans, you got the Jets. These next three games
will tell us what the Buffalo Bills will be because

(09:01):
now they're gonna play some teams where they're toss up
games we don't know. And these are the games where
you'll miss a fourteen, you'll miss a Stefan Diggs because
when it's third and six, they playing, man the man
who you going to?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Who who you're gonna go to?

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Because if you have a guy, say shakurre Is are
number one receiver, Marlin Humphrey's gonna man him up. Sauce
Garden are gonna man him up, They're extingly gonna man
him up.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Now, Now who you're gonna go to?

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Before when you have Diggs, you know in that situation,
I'm going to I'm gonna Digs or I'm even gonna
go to Gabe Davis.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
So who is that guy? Now?

Speaker 4 (09:45):
You miss those receivers, those those top guys in these
type of games. And so I need to see the
Bills play these good teams before I really say, ah,
but I'm some what agreeing what plaques that they may
be fools gold. But I will say this, the way

(10:06):
they're winning, they're winning games now with their defense and
running the ball. They're not really airing the ball out.
Josh Shalin not throwing for two hundred and fifty three
hundred yards and he was doing that on a consistent
basis with Diggs.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
But I believe Josh.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Allen though in the I don't have to tear people
down to bring other people up.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
That's like you believe them. Yeah, but but but he
just did it though.

Speaker 9 (10:28):
But they sounded like I've never heard of franchise quarterback
talk about a former player or wide receiver to the
degree of he was basically called him selfish.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Hey, that's exactly what he was saying. That's what he's said.
Diggs was ready to move on, but you know what,
Josh Allen was ready for him to go. That's that's
that's that's not me.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
That's I'm not just saying this.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
I know this. And so like Diggs wanted to leave,
but John Shallen was ready for him to go.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
So it works out almost like being in a relationship.
And like man, I want to be in a stationship.
I don't want to be in it either.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
What that's some Diggs have has given Josh Allen in
this current position is now that Josh Allen is delivering
the football based off of coverage, he doesn't have to
feed and focus on fourteen. So now he can drop
back and he could throw them football all over the yard.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
That's a gift in the cursed ow Plex. It is
curse because it is that. That's what That's what I'm
trying to tell you.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
At one point, we were one of those dudes where
it was like, I don't care what the coverage is,
just give me the ball. I'm gonna make the player
because he he doesn't have that guy. Now at least
he's confident.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
To that guy.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
Now you know what he's doing. Now I'm throwing to
the open guy. I'm throwing to the guy based off
the coverage.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
What if he ain't open and they ain't making plays,
they undefeated.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
What I'm saying is, we don't know the identity of
the football team right now, but we will find out
who they are offensively, because as the season goes on,
he's going to be making decisions in the pocket and
throwing the football to Khalil or Keon based off of coverage.

(12:32):
He's going to throw the ball where supposed to go. Well,
that doesn't always work out for you as a quarterback.

Speaker 6 (12:39):
If it doesn't work out that way, we all know
what he's going to do after that.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
He's going to run.

Speaker 6 (12:46):
He's going to run, and he's going to try to
get to where he's trying to go. And that's ultimately
what has in some cases. Then the achilles hell of
this Buffalo Bill's team is when he starts forcing and
when he starts running too much. But we'll see how
it all plays out, you know what I mean. I
thought it was shade, but if it was like slight

(13:07):
or maybe not. And then he cleared it up and
back pedaled up out of there, even though he's a quarterback.
I mean, quarterbacks have backstep two, you know, just not
step into that bucket.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
But hey, it is what it is.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
Everybody's where they want to be now and the Bills
are still undefeated, whether they're fools, gold or not.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
So this is up on game. It's Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
On the other side of the break, We're going to
talk a little Aaron Love, Jordan Love. Which one is it?
What's what's his name? Jordan Jordan, Aaron Jones is going back.
I'll tell you that Aaron Jones is going back. Jordan Love.
He may not be coming back. He has practice, but
he may not be in the game. We're gonna talk Minnesota,

(13:52):
Green Bay, Jordan Love, quarterback Love. Uh yeah. On the
other side of break, This is up on Game that's
t J. Hushman's eye. That's Plexico Berts. I'm Lavart would
be right back.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Yeah, welcome back in.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
This is up on Game Live from tyreq dot com Studios.
We're going to get to up on Game down on
Game about that seven ten minutes from now. We'll do
that now. I brought up the Jordan Love situation. He's
questionable to come back for the Packers. This is also

(14:35):
what would be considered to be a revenge game for
Aaron Jones as now a thriving Minnesota Viking and they're
going to go back and play his former team. But
there's also another conversation that I failed to tease and
I failed to mention that I would love to get

(14:56):
the opinions of UTJ and of you Plexico.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
On Bryce Young.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
All right, so if we can get to the Packers
and Jordan Love being questionable and playing, we'll circle back
to that before we get to up on game, down
on game. But let's lead off the segment and let's
talk about a hot topic that was discussed between us
or or just the you know what's put out there
to debate. In terms of now, Andy Dalton is the guy.

(15:27):
Andy Dalton gets a big win over our guy, Antonio
Pearson and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
What's y'all's take.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
On on the Bryce Young situation?

Speaker 3 (15:39):
TJ, let me ask you a questions.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
I know that you have a personal relationship with Bryce Young,
and you know it's a tough situation for this young man,
you know, moving forward, but you know, just looking at
what he has done over the past two years, what
do you think if you're the Kiln of Panthers and

(16:06):
you finished, you know, they're probably going to have the
first or second pick going into this draft.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
If they have a first, first, a number two pick,
what would you do.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
If you're the Kiln of Panthers, I don't know if
there's a quarterback that's worthy of a top two pick
at least.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Right now, who would you draft? Carson backs?

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Those will be the top three quarterbacks we would assume,
maybe Jackson Dark. I don't know who it's worthy of
that pick. If I'm any NFL team, you know who
I want to draft moving forward. I'm waiting on Nico
m That that's who I want. I want Nico. I

(16:59):
get Nico. I got a franchise quarterback for fifteen years.
That's who I want, my boy, Nico. The thing with
Bryce and when when he got benched, I sent him
a long message man, because I don't know how that feels.
But at some point, as athletes, we all lose confidence.

(17:23):
At some point, I don't care who you are, we
all lose confidence. And for Bryce, I'm sure he's lost
his confidence. I just don't know when he lost it.
And you got to regain that. You got to remember
who you are, who you were, and it's hard when

(17:48):
you're not playing well. I mean, Bryce has been a
winner his entire life. He was at Cathedral High School
in LA he won, He transfers the modern day, he won.
He goes to Alabama, he won.

Speaker 6 (18:04):
This is a thing, though, and with not as much
as people had in the past.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
At Alabama, he won right, still won.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
But we can also make the argument that when he
was at modern day, best high school football team in America,
best old line in high school football, easily sane.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
At Bama Alabama he was he Williams. Did he get too.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Comfortable sitting behind a great offensive line. And we all
made excuses. I'm we Oh the Panthers they got nothing, man,
they terrible. He ain't getting protected, he got no skill, guys,
And I truly believe that. And then Andy Dalkon going
there and thought for three hundred yards, I was like.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Whoa touchdowns? I was like whoa. So then when Bryce
sees that, that's even more damaging to your cont and
it's cause you're like, I could do nothing like this.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
And so I feel bad for Bryce when I tell
he's such a great person, such a great kid, super
dope family. He's going to have to get that belief back.
He's going to have to really self evaluate and understand

(19:24):
what blame he has to accept.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Because although the Panthers don't have a great team.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Bryce has some blame to accept in this. He's partly
part of this is his fault that they he didn't
play well enough, so he's gonna have to accept that.
But I also say this, I mean, damn, eighteen games,
eighteen games. He starts eighteen games or was it nineteen?

(19:55):
It's nineteen games? Maybe maybe? No, he missed one eighteen games.
You give up pon him after eighteen games. Trevor Lawrence
won one more game than Bryce Young after eighteen games.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
He just got a contract extension.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
So it's like, really and named the stadium and he's
still in your future. You say we still want to
keep Bryce Shung. I believe if Bryce Young was on
a team like that, if Tula can't play, you put
him with that Maami Dolphins team, he will succeed. You
put in with Sean McVay, he will succeed. And I
say these teams because we don't know what's gonna happen

(20:32):
with Stafford, We don't know what's gonna happen with Tua.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Why would he exceed you on those teams?

Speaker 4 (20:37):
I just feel because he's gonna throw the ball accurately
on time, and their stuff is so defined that he
I just believe with his accuracy and his understanding of
the position, he'll be fine. But again, I'm biased when
I say these things because I like him as a
person and I know one.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
So you think he'll get.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
An shot when when you're the first pick of the draft,
you'll get another shot. Every team in the National Football League,
they won't say this. Every team would have drafted Bryce
Young number one. Every team.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
I was the only guy, and I'll be honest, I
was the only guy that I saw on TV that
said I would take c J. Stroud number one. I
said c J. Stroud all along.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
I was the only one that I recall, I went
on national television the only thing and said I would
take c J.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Stroud got The.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Only thing that got in front of Carolina was the
history of the Ohio State quarterbacks going to the NFL.
I believe Nick Saban sold Bryce Young, I think to
the Carolina because of who he is.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
The decision makers would have taken brys Young number one.
They said they would. They don't want to say it now,
because oh c J. Stroud. I really believed.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
That his stature as a quarterback is going to not
let him be one of those elite quarterbacks. I really do,
because I don't think he can play in the center,
and I'm looking at some of the throws that he's making.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
He's throwing to a spot.

Speaker 6 (22:17):
I don't believe that he can see the guys over
the middle, and they're not even trying to sack them.
They're just smothering, getting their hands up, batting the balls down.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
I don't believe he can see. He's he's been, he's
I know, you keep saying successful. If you look at
him in a shotgun, he's like two yards deeper than
the regular quarterback because he needs room to see.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
And I just.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Don't think that when he's throwing passes over the middle,
when when he gets a rush in his face, he
has to get out of the pocket because he can't
see TJ and I really believe that, and you understand
what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
So Andy Dalton takes this same.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Exact offense and goes out and goes into Las Vegas.
He throws for three hundred and what nineteen yards and
three touchdowns with the same exact wilde receivers.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Andy Dalton, you know he ain't no pushover.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
He was out there with a great wilde receiver also
on Cincinnati, number eighteen, then aj Green, So he was
out there dropping dimes and then Canalist gets in the
press conference and immediately says, who's your quarterback?

Speaker 6 (23:43):
He said, and Dalton my quarterback, and that's fine, Trade me,
trade me, okay? Does he have to get some value?

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Yeah, Sam Darnold went for a second. What team do
you think that is going to take right?

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Trade value if he has, if you don't have any
plans for him to be your quarterback, and you get
something for him, I'd rather get something than nothing. And
this is what you also get. His contract is guaranteed.
You get that guaranteed. So if you feel that way,
trade him.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Mm hmm. Why wouldn't you? I don't think. And it's
a rookie contract, so it's not that big of a
d R. He holds no value. Trade them mhm.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
I played with quarterbacks, man, I've been spoiled because all
my guys have been six five six six is better.
I just don't think he would come. He would never
say this, but you can't put him on the center.

(24:48):
He's too small. And you say he's been dealing with
his own his old his whole life. The size doesn't matter.
I think this is one.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Of no no, no, I'm not saying that. I'm staying
he understands how to handle it. It matters as a receiver.
It matters. I played in college with Jonathan Smith.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Size does matter, Paul. You can't see him.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
I played with John Smith in college, right, Like, you
don't see the quarterback, you don't. You just see the
ball in the air. Like with a tall quarterback sometimes
we see the ball come out their hands, so it's
easy to track. With a smaller quarterback, you just find
the ball, man you get. But it's not the easiest thing.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
I remember this Vivla in the preseason, I was on
a sixteen yard dig route and Tim hasel Back was
under what was in the game playing quarterback in the preseason,
I ran a sixteen yard dig route and I'm looking
for the ball because it's single high.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
You know where the ball is supposed to go, supposed
to go to the dick.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
I can't even see him in the pocket, and all
I see is a ball in the air.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
Like the ball went over the top of my head.
I'm like, dog, I couldn't even see you. Oh gosh,
it's a thing, man. I'm telling you, yeah, it's just
be for Bryce. There's there's a place for him.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Man, when when you're the first pick, he's gonna get
multiple chances.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
But Colin is having success made it work.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Butler Murray is extremely athletic. Though he's extremely athletic, it's
just it's different. But I believe another opportunity fast.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Yeah, I don't believe it. I don't believe you can be.

Speaker 5 (26:35):
I don't believe you can be a pocket quarterback in
this league of five nine.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
You put Bryce, you put how tall was Drew Brees
Drew Brees feet easy, six feet? You put Bryce Seawan
with McVeigh in the Rams or McDaniel in Miami.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
I believe he has success. I truly do so. You
believe it the police for Yeah, I do.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
I just believe when you can throw with anticipation, you
have a chance. And Bryce was was extremely accurate. And
then you get to the league. But again we know
this man that's self confidence and self belief goes a
long way man, and he has to get that back.
He must get it back.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Man.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
He he got to feel like, uh, he's the Bryce
from Obama and only he knows mentally where he's at.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
Well, when he was at Bama, he had Calvin Ridley
and d Smith and Jaylen wallall and not.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
He didn't play with no dang Calvin Ridley. What you
mean Calvin Ridley was in the league.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
Here's what we're going to do, though, We're gonna get
Bryce twenty four. We're gonna get the Alabama Bryce Young
of updates.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Let's go to trending with.

Speaker 10 (27:50):
What you got Alo is a very good introduction.

Speaker 11 (27:53):
Yeah, let's do it any Cathedral High School and Modern
Day High School.

Speaker 10 (27:58):
Bryce Young greatly do.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Let me tell you what Kentucky is playing the role
of Alabama Bryce Young right now, because Nray Kentucky has
just taken a ten to six lead, a ten to
seven lead at six ranked Ole Miss with twenty seven
seconds left to play in the second quarter on a
five yard touchdown pass from Brock Vandergriff to Dane Key.

(28:21):
Twelfth ranked Michigan up twenty one to nothing over Minnesota
with two seconds left to play in the second quarter.
Michigan running back Kalel Mullings two touchdown runs, including a
twenty seven yarder four Mullings number twenty three Kansas State
up twenty one to thirteen, over twenty eight ranked Oklahoma State.

(28:42):
They have one forty four left to play in the
second quarter. Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson at eleven yard
touchdown run and a nineteen yard touchdown pass to Garrett
Oakley at a halftime number twenty two BYU has a
thirty one to fourteen lead. At Baylor BYU quarterback Jake
letzlog thirteen of seventeen for one eighty with two touchdown

(29:05):
passes and a touchdown run in the first half and
the NFL Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced today
that Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback on Monday Night
football against the Tennessee Titans. Remember Skyler Thompson started last
week's loss at Seattle for Miami, which is now one
and two. And finally, front Off of Sports reported a

(29:26):
short time ago the Thursday Night's Cowboys Giants game on
Amazon averaged sixteen point two million viewers, making it the
most streamed NFL regular season game ever.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
Back to you guys, appreciate it, Halo, Hey bo, do
we have enough time to do up on game, down
on game.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Or should we go into the next segment you want
to do it?

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Love nine for some picks. Are you up on game?
Let's break this up. Let's break it up, down out game.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
All right, let's go a little rapids fire. Yes, we'll go.

Speaker 10 (30:03):
We'll go quick here, real quick.

Speaker 12 (30:06):
Shout out to Dan Bayer last week six and oh
on his picks filling.

Speaker 10 (30:09):
In for Lar and TJ.

Speaker 12 (30:11):
There.

Speaker 10 (30:11):
Yeah, wow, new record. I believe what I go two
and four?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Thanks.

Speaker 10 (30:17):
Yeah, he was almost off the night. I was fine.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
He just wanted to plex. Want the chill in the basement.

Speaker 10 (30:21):
Bo, So yeah, I was treading water last week. All right,
kick it off.

Speaker 12 (30:26):
This week we have the Minnesota Vikings heading to Green
Bay to take on the Packers. The Packers a three
point favorite. The over under seid in forty four in this.

Speaker 6 (30:34):
One, So you got I'm gonna take the over on that,
and I'm taking who the Packers.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
The Vikings are.

Speaker 10 (30:40):
Three point favorite, the Packers are three point family.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Oh no, no, no, I'm taking the Vikings on this one.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Gonna take that. Yeah, I'm gonna go under. See.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
The thing is, I don't know if Jordan loved playing,
but I'm gonna just say he ain't gonna play. He
will not be playing. So I'm gonna take the Vikings.
But if he does, boy, I will take the Packers,
but I'll go Vikings, and.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Man, listen, Minnesota Vikings are my dark horse into the NFC.
Saw Kyo a couple of weeks ago when it came
in beat my giant.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
I'm going with the Minnesota Vikings. Man.

Speaker 5 (31:16):
I like how they're playing right now, and Ko is
a student of the game offensively, the silent quarterback whisper.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
And I'm going over on the points.

Speaker 10 (31:28):
All right.

Speaker 12 (31:30):
Next up, we have the New Orleans Saints taking on
the Falcons in Atlanta. Atlanta a two and a half
point favorite with the total currently set at forty one.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
I'm gonna take the over and I'm gonna take Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
I like the Falcons as well, and I also like
going over forty one point, so I'll take the Falcons
and over.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
Man that the New Orleans Saints food me in the
Dallas game would with the real Derek Carr, please stand up.
So I'm taking the Atlanta Falcons and I'm taking over on.

Speaker 10 (31:57):
The bunch, all right.

Speaker 12 (31:59):
Last one here, the Los Angeles Rams going to Chicago
to take on Caleb Williams.

Speaker 10 (32:03):
And the Bears.

Speaker 12 (32:04):
The Bears a three point favorite here. The total currently
said at forty and.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
A half, but the Bears a three point favorite over
who Rams?

Speaker 6 (32:12):
Yeah no, Now, I'm gonna take the Rams on this one.
I'm gonna take the under on the points. I know
everything says to pick the Rams. They just come off
a big win against the Niners. But I'm gonna say
this may be the week Kyla Williams turns it around.
I don't really like the offensive coordinator, man wasn't He
didn't do much in Seattle.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Gets another opportunity, But I'm gonna roll with the Chicago
Bears and I'll go I'll take the under. I I
like the Bears defense, but I'll take the Bears and under.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
I don't think there's gonna be no defense playing this game.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
Man, I'm taking Matthew Stafford and the Rams, and I'm
going over on the points. Caleb Williams had a great
league last week, but the defense cannot hold up, So
I'm taking the Rams.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
Oh man, all right, Well, thank you bo. All right,
we'll see how this all plays out next week.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
That was up on game down on game and listen up?
One leg? Why is it always one leg? You know
you got a winning parlay going only to lose it.

Speaker 6 (33:08):
All on the last lousy leg brutal Well, not anymore,
because DraftKings Sportsbook has your back with progressive parlays.

Speaker 3 (33:18):

twos after this show can concludes.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
But before we get up out of here, fellas, obviously,
there was a big trade that took place in the
NBA this week.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (35:09):
Just recently, Carl Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves of Minnesota
Timberwolves was traded to the New York Knicks for uh
DIVI dividchenzo?

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Uh Did I say that right? Tell me how you
say that? It's Devin David Chenzo.

Speaker 6 (35:26):
Yeah, I always get his name wrong, all right, Uh
for for Divin Chinzo Dante that is.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
And Julius Randall, Uh do you guys like the trade?
Do you not like the trade?

Speaker 6 (35:36):
I like Carl Anthony Towns, But y'all know during the playoffs,
y'all know, my big, my big gripe on him is
sometimes it just you gotta be a big man.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
When you're a big body and you're a big man.
He just doesn't seem to want to be a.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Big man ever like he ever at any given time.
All Right, y'all take it from there. I don't I
don't know if I like it for for some or other,
I don't like it.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
I thinks the GM or.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Whatever who he is, he's bringing a lot of Kentucky
cats into New York. I don't think he really fits
one Kentucky cat for another Kentucky cat.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Moving forward. But I really believe that.

Speaker 5 (36:21):
Julius Brown needed to get out of New York ever
since he stuck the middle finger up and told the
you know, the fans, f U he was no longer
welcome in Madison Square Garden.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
So I believe he needed to leave. You know what's
crazy is uh cuffs.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
He suggested this traded may m cuffs put on Twitter,
you right, Karl Anthony Towns for Julius Randall, who says no,
And he said, add another piece in there, just to
make it work, sous beyond the stuff, Bro, they'd be
stealing that like GM need to just go and it's

(37:00):
like comfort retation fee or something. But you look at
what the New York Knicks are trying to do with
Jalen Bruntson he gets into the lane, he's a ball
dominant player.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
We never even would have seen this side of Jalen brunts.

Speaker 6 (37:14):
And if Julius Round didn't get her right, but you
know the thing and stretches the deft the next loss
Hartenstein and Mitchell I.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
Believe is injured. They need a big that's gone bixactly that,
but that's what the Knicks. He plays behind a three
point line and when he making the three, you like,
who this boy?

Speaker 3 (37:43):
Nice? But when he go on them off them bad
shooting slumps and he was off in the playoffs like
a big man.

Speaker 5 (37:51):
Do you think that the New York Knicks got better
with this trade moving forward against Philly now that they
got Paul George and with the Boston Celtics.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
You know the next they now have Michel Bridges, right,
and Karl Anthony Towns. They move Julius Randol.

Speaker 4 (38:12):
Julius Rando is a post player, yeah, and I would
say he's a more consistent score than.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
Karl Anthony Towns.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
I would say, I don't know if the Knicks guy
better let me and is a really good three point shooter,
and he's a really good defensive player, right, And so
I'm gonna say me, I don't. Me and my son
were talking about this last night. I don't like the
trade for the next at all.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
If Anthony town comes into Madison Square Garden and he
plays that the way that he played in the playoff series,
that he will be ran out of the building.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Yeah, they're gonna being out.

Speaker 5 (38:56):
Six eleven standing out there on the corner to three
point line. You can't make none come on.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Five or eleven.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
Dude covering him in defense because they know you ain't
going down low.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
That's a New York have no inside presence at all.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
You got you have it, you got rid of Harkenstein,
and now you got a six twelve, I don't know,
eight foot three point shooter standing on the on the
three point line shooting threes thinking it's Jayalen Brunson and.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
You got a guard on you where you can get
an easy bucket inside the paint. Oh man, that is crazy. Now,
how is called Anthony Town's gonna handle the New York media?

Speaker 3 (39:35):
Man?

Speaker 4 (39:35):
When these slumps take place, like, not Minnesota handle that
you go, oh for three or four from three point line?
You getting booth out of the building. That like, I
like to train off on Minnesota. I like the trade
because you you still have to do Like I like
the trade. You still have if Randall could stay healthy,

(39:56):
nas read, you still have nas Red Corinthony Town, I
mean Rudy Gobert.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
And now you acquired Julius Randall and Rudy go and
he got exposed in the off seat or in the playoffs.
And that's because I would take no read over cat.
He's soft.

Speaker 6 (40:14):
So now you bring in a guy like uh, you
know Randall, and you got a little bit of toughness
that you bringing to the team. I like the trade
for ten Timberwolves, not for the Knicks. Listen, Jonas Knox
is coming up next. Make sure you stay locked in
Dowd in check out our podcast. Make sure you rate, subscribe,
all that good stuff. All right, listen, We had a
great time, TJ Plex, enjoy the games, enjoyed the Big Ten,

(40:37):
