Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
That's right and rebroadcasting live from the ti iraq dot
com studios ti iraq dot com. Well help you get
there with the unmax election, fast free shipping, free realizer protection,
and over ten thousand recommending this dollars tire iraq dot com.
It's the way that tire buying should be DJ No,
I mean listen first of all. First of all, so

(00:26):
much going on right now in the world of college football.
Just around the horn the defending Nationals. What's up?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Well, First of all, welcome back, Thank you they listen
to give us get that out first, Welcome back. You
were away last weekend as zedway Dean having a good
time drinking, drinking, drinking and Dyna see but welcome back, brother,
go ahead.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I appreciate it. Speaking of the University of Michigan where
I was hangs on earlier today, gotta love that. Get
some more pressing college football issues going on though, Colorado.
How about that best game? I think that is plant
the flag, best game that we have seen the Colorado
Buffaloes play under Dion Sandras.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I wonder how quiet will be this week Mark, and
I wonder where where the talk will be sitting at
four and one going on the road. A gets a
three and no Central Florida team that rushes for over
three hundred yards a game. I believe the number three
fifty four they put on the board when they told
the rock. But uh Dion and them boys, coach Prime
and them boys winning and was like, hold on after
the Baylor win last week, to go get this one

(01:24):
this week.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Very impressive. I'm with you there.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
The TCU win still might be I think the one
for me right now, but this one, this one's this
was pretty close.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
To This was a huge game. We'll get into that
just a second as well, But first I want to
start Steve just said the score was a shocking etern
of events, but not so shocking if you watch Kentucky
play Georgia because Georgia gave them I'm a misdimention. We're
watching right now Georgia Alabama, which we will also we'll
talk about just second. A little weird, little different feeling

(01:55):
now that Nick Saban is on TV instead of on
the sidelines. But first, Kentucky and Old Miss, Old Miss,
a team that a lot of people had in the
College Football Playoff, a team that a lot of people
said potential Heisman candidate in Jackson Dart was at the
start of the year, they drop a game here and now.
But my thought is because before it would have been oh,
you know, old missus, they're done, they're cooked, it's over.

(02:17):
They lost, they can't. Well. Now in the new playoff era,
that's not true. Nope, not at all. So last week
I'm sorry, I ad my back. What about this though?
We just watched Kentucky take the presumptive number one team
in the nation. We'll see how that is after the
end of this well, obviously Texas number one. But up
until prior to literally twenty four months. Prior to Georgia
was on one team in the nation for two years,

(02:38):
for two years in a row. So we saw lost
one game, we saw Kentucky take them to the brink,
and now we've see in Kentucky be the sixth RAN team.
They have two losses on the year already. Stoops. My
first thought literally was what's their shot for the playoffs?
I know, like that's where my head went. Not old
misses cooked, it's over. Not Georgia Alabama playing for the

(03:01):
facto SC Championship today is now, what is the two
loss Kentucky wildcatch shot out the playoff now that they've played.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
The SEC team's tough. Yeah, Well, here's the thing, they're
an SEC team. So we all have this SEC bias.
We know that we all live by within college football.
I'm tired of even debating about it and talking about it.
It is what it is, and you can say complain
about it's not gonna change, you know what I'm saying.
So why not just go ahead and just agree with
what it is and just watch football and let it happens.

(03:29):
Out it happens. So now you look at Kentucky, they
get it even closer. They're outside, they're fourteen fifteen thirteen.
You're going to have loud people from the Bluegrass state
that want them in the college football playoff.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
But last week while you were.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Out miss the Arnie Spaniard and I were on there
and that's yeah, And I threw a question at him
and it was off the topic and we were talking
college football.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I just took a left, you know, high like to
turn down road sometimes.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
And I said, it is an early loss even worth
anything now, Nope, in college football, their early set timber
used to be cupcakes and whatever.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Big upset we could find.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
That's what college football used to be with a twelve
team playoff. Now that is no longer than case. And
I'm not saying I got a problem with it. I don't,
But let's just understand this is the changing of college
football now, especially with these mega conferences, you're bound to
probably drop an early game.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Texas just looks dominant.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
They have two quarterbacks, and they got dudes all up
and down the offense and defensive line. Their offensive line
had three NFL prospects. One is gonna be a top five,
top six pick. They're dominant, they got receivers, running backs.
They lose a running back for the year, they just
plugged the next guy in. So I don't think no
one will beat them. But we know tonight either Alabama
or Georgia is gonna have a September loss. Either one

(04:44):
of these teams are losing, and somebody can possibly lose again.
Whoever loses this game, it's not over for them. The
season's not done, not even close. Just gotta go back
to the drawing board, correct what went wrong. And like
I don't want to use, I don't want to use
the phrase that doesn't matter more a but it doesn't
kind of matter.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Well, here's the thing. It matters. But it used to
mean everything. You used to kill your season. Now it's
just another notch in the you know, in the in
your resume. That's all. It is just another line on
the resume. But it used to mean everything. Man from
the moon and the stars, the Earth would stop rotating
if you know. But now you lose September twenty eighth,

(05:23):
So think about this devastating point. Right to your point,
either Georgia Alabama, Lee would have lost. And I know
that bear with me, national audience. I know that this
team is probably not the national title content that they
were last year. But at the time that this game
was scheduled, they were Michigan in Texas. One of those
teams was leaving with a law with a lost right September.

(05:43):
If Michigan had continued to build and be the team
that they were, they would be right now if you
had kind of imported, say JJ stayed and so on
and so forth. If they had imported, that would be
a top five team, and Texas would be a top
five team, and one of them would have a loss
right after this Georgia to Alabama. We will see one
of the maybe at worst the loser of this falls

(06:04):
to seven.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, still too worst after tonight, In my eyes, these
are still two of the top five teams and college football.
This game does not change my mind about neither one
of these teams currently constructed at all.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
And so you got that, and then on top of that,
now I wonder how how that impacts all right, because
now we got the Now Colorado does not necessarily fit
into this category because they are a very popular team,
but not a team that we have seen a top
of the college football landscape very very recently. Right, How
does the fact that we've seen the Georgia's and the

(06:39):
Alabama's in and LSU's and whoever else clamors climbs up
this thing? Right, the Clemson's even we've see these teams
and they'll have two losses to loss let's say, coach
Prime and then only lose the one game. Now, how
does it? How does it adjust in the rankings? How
like this whole college football playoff thing, it doesn't eliminate
teams like it used to. But what it does is

(07:02):
it does generate more conversation for the seeding, which it
takes away some of the immediacy and the urgency of
the sport. But ultimately more people are invited to the party.
And not only that.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
You look at the old Miss Let's sting to that
game real quick against Kentucky. That's a bad loss. It's early,
but that's a bad loss. And we know what Kentucky's
been doing. We know Kentucky pushed Georgia to the brink,
not just this last year too, Like Kentucky has beaten
some other top teams and sec they've been very competitive.
But for all Miss to drop this game at home,
that's the alarming part to me. It's for them to

(07:33):
lose this game at home against a Kentucky team that
clearly they were better than they should have beaten. But
when you look at the box score, it's like, oh,
Miss put up ten and this third quarter they are
two scoreless quarters. They didn't score in the second quarter,
they didn't score in the fourth quarter. You can't win
tight football games on any level in America if you
can't score in the fourth quarter, not unless you got

(07:54):
a thirty point lead already, something ridiculous like that. I
personally think that's part of the reason why I was
kind of impressed with Kentucky because when you think of
an old Miss football has put up so far this season,
and then when I mean this team had fifty two points,
forty points and fifty two points. They've been rolling in
the three games prior and had and I know it
was Firman, but this course seventy six points.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah right. And then we look at Georgia, who you know,
they're punting here against Alabama, but you know, big decent offense,
like you know what I'm saying, slow scoring, but you expect
Kentucky had them in hell, Yes, I think Kentucky's defense
might just be real. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Well, Stoops is a defensive guy. He comes from a
defensive tree. Bob Stoops was a defensive guy in Oklahoma.
Do you guys remember all the guys that were getting
to the NFL from Oklahoma At one point, Roy Williams
at safety, Tommy Tommy Tommy spelled it with an ie
on the end. I forget his last name, but a
defensive lineman that was a top five draft pick. Like
they Oklahoma used to just throw studs into the NFL

(08:54):
on the defensive side of the ball. It's just it's Stoops.
It's the Stoops family. It's what they do. It's like
the Shanahan family. They're off Guess what, guys, the Shanahan family,
guess what their offense are going.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
To be really really good.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
And it's been that way for the last twenty five
thirty years of NFL played football.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
So you're right, the defense is legit. But this had
a game.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
When you watch this game, Martin and you watch body language,
you know I am about energy and body language of players.
It felt like, oh, misthought they can just roll out
today because it was Kentucky coming in on a home game.
That's the body language I was getting. And then football,
the worst thing you can do is think that you
can just show up, because nine times out of ten,

(09:35):
if you don't have Pat Mahomes, if you don't have
Jalen mill Roll, if you don't have Joe Burrow when
he was at LSU, if you don't have a Troy
Smith when he was at Ohio stated quarterback are Mike
Vick when he was in Virginia ten.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
When went on Cam Cam Newton exactly.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Remember he's down twenty one to nothing in the iron
Ball and pretty much brings them back all by himself.
If you don't have one of those guys that could
just kind of put the team and the whole program,
our franchise on his shoulders and back and go.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Get a dub before you cut it on. It's too late.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You give the other team that shouldn't be in the
game with you right now. They don't have the players
that you have. There's a reason why Kentucky has two
losses already, and oh miss is as Martin said, people
think can get to the final four, the semi finals.
People think they have a quarterback that's a heising candidate.
They're number six ranked team in the nation. That tells
me right there. Listen, the Jimmies and Joe's don't match up.
But when you just think you can show up and

(10:27):
the other team gains confidence, you are in troubling. That's
what I saw is when you start to see players
start to kind of turn and look at each other.
Defensive bass get beat and they stand up at to
make it attack on and they're pointing to their team
in it. That tells me, right there, you guys are
not locked in, and now you're giving this team confidence.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Strap in. It's gonna be a dogfight.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
And it was a dogfight and they couldn't pull it off, man,
they had to lead, gave it up game.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I'll tell you what, man, I'm very much still getting
used to this conference realignment. I know. I look at
Kentucky Texas in November twenty three, right, and Wisconsin came
to ucl USC today? What right? I mean? Watching Stanford
and Clemson play a conference game? Thanks a lot powers
that things that one's kind of ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Stanford and Clemson think about that are playing a conference
game today?

Speaker 2 (11:18):
You know, at least it's all about the kids coming
up next, Coming up next. Two of the best offensive
minds in the game don't have their number one guy

(12:44):
Radio and VJ nineteen to one sixty nine. Do you
know what does those numbers mean to you? Nineteen to
one sixty nine. I don't know that. It is a
trick question. Yeah, that is the amount of yards that
Georgia has nineteen to one hundred and sixty nine, the
amount of yards that Alabama had before thirty nine left
in the first quarter. Kaitlin de Boor, Hello, welcome to

(13:05):
the rivalry.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, not only that, if you looked at also Colorado
that at one fifty five in the first quarter. So
the offenses that have the guys the better and the
best quarterbacks in the nation are the ones that are
putting up that are putting up all the points, you know.
So it is what it is. I had Alabama picked Alabama.
I just told Crannon on the editing room a minute ago.
Georgia could look like looks like they can get blown

(13:27):
out tonight. This looks like it can get ugly. It
better get going fast because Bama's just marching up and
down the field. As a quarterback throw misses a receiver
that's open on a ten yard fifteen yard out and
almost gets it picked off by Obama defensive back. So
they just look at of Sortsman, they don't look like
the Georgia that we've seen over the last two years
that those two teams have lost a lot of players
in the NFL are in the NFL playing very well

(13:50):
and helping out their pro teams. But you know, they
still got a few names and it's still got the
MBA on the side of the helmet. Again, They're still
a top five team this year even if they lose
this game. It's just that tonight Bama might look like
that are that much better, like much much better than
than Georgia is.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yeah, he just hit George Carson Beck just hit an
Alabama defender in the number YEP in his chest and.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
The overthrowing his receiver like it was nowhere. He was close,
he had to die for it to even get his
hands on it.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Honestly reminded me of the Trevor Lawrence interception to Deamar
Hamler from what was that Monday Monday Night again?

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Yeah, quick, cyber, how about that man DeMar Hamlin. When't
his first interception? If I'm not his first career interception?
You talk about a feel good story. I don't have
to rehash you. But you guys all know the story
and you know I mean this.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Trevor Lawrence is some of a fruit basket because that's
all the announcers had to say. And I'm not I'm
not disparaging. I'm not saying whoever it was calling the game.
I know it was a double Monday night game, so
maybe it was Orlowski, maybe it was Joe and Troy's.
I'm not knocking them because I would have done the
same as a guy. Wow, Carson back as he just
throws defender again, hey, hey, Georgia, Georgia, Oh hey, you

(14:59):
know what, let's we need to come up with something
and pay attention here. We need to come up with
something when the team is on watch right, because we're
in this time slot all the time, especially college football
windows right in big games all the time. Georgia is
on watch right now. This thing could get ugly fast
because Carson Beck does not look comfortable. He's that's the
second pass that he's thrown that hit in Alabama defender

(15:22):
in the numbers.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
This one just was caught and this is just a misread.
The receiver doesn't know his route. He thinks it's a
quick screen. Look at him the minute he lets it go.
Yeah he didn't even throw it to but he think
it's a screen. The receiver messes that up. I can't
put that on Carson back because the minute he lets
it go, he puts his hands up like what are
you doing? And the receiver runs straight. He doesn't know

(15:45):
to play, he doesn't know the route. It's a screen
because the other receivers are blocks. So that tells me
that there was a quick screen. He messed it up,
and the defender all he had to do is just
standing in the ball hit him writing the number one.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
But I'm thinking, I don't know if it's an upset alert,
if it's whatever, it is, like a red alert, because
Georgia right now is in the is in the is
in the danger zone, a danger zone alert, I don't know.
Off the top of my head.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
You can sayd like choke watch or something. But it's
not a choke because they're playing Alabama.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
No, it's not a choke.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
I got one. One just hit me. He just said
danger zone. So maybe we put them there on top
Gun Alert. That was the theme song from the movie
Top Gun Danger Zone.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
I was gonna ask you to explain about okay, yeah,
oh that's right.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I forgot you're like nineteen years old. Oh my god, yeah,
twenty four? Oh yeah, right, in three years or twenty four.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah right, we'll keep we'll keep working shopping.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Yeah, no, Top alex is gonna play the danger Zone
for us coming back from breaking You guys will know
what I'm talking about anyway, I know exactly what you Okay, Yeah,
we thought, speaking of danger zone, we thought the Packers
were in the danger zone.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
As Jordan Love goes down mcl in Brazil, everybody, Oh,
my god, you just paid them. How dare you play
an international football game after that? But you know Malik
willis your guy. Malik the free coming in leaked? Was
it two and oh, three and oh so far? I
know he's covered the spread, yes, their But Kevin O'Connell's
doing something very similar in Minnesota with Sam Darnold. They

(17:06):
face off today or tomorrow rather right, You got both
of these guys, these great offensive minds, who are actively
not using the quarterback that you imagine they would when
the season started. Yeah, we know Jordan Love is reported
to play today, but we're also knowing that there were
even throughout the week there were reports maybe the Elik
Willis packages as well. So where do you see this

(17:29):
game play out? And who do you think as the
offensive game plan to get the win?

Speaker 3 (17:35):
I think the offensive game plan will go to the
Vikings because once again they have they have the better
skilled guys all around in my opinion, But what the
Packers have is home field advantage. You have Lafloor, and
I would still even go Jordan Love if he's ready
to go.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
You go with your guy.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
But some elite packages this question mark on look, you're
a backup. You came in, you did your job, you
got some dubs, you didn't throw no games away, you
didn't lose no games. All right, go back and grab
the clipboarder not a clipboard anymore. That shows how old
I am. Go back and grab the surface or the iPad. Hey,
and if we need you again, we know we.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Got you again, packages and stuff. I'm just not with it.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
If that's the case, then just don't play Jordan Love.
If you got to do packages for Malik the Freak,
then that means that Jordan Love might not be all
the way, but he's just good enough to play. I
went and risk that right now, even sitting at two
and one, going to geinst the three and oh like
it's early in the season. But if he's one hundred
percent ready to go. Hey, hey, Malie, thanks dog, appreciate you.
You did with a backup quarterback it's supposed to do.

(18:34):
Come in and don't lose the game. We got enough
talent around us. Just don't go lose the game. Here's
your surface, here's your iPad. Thanks a lot, baby. If
we need you again, I know I can call you.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
I just think it was impressive. I think that that
is a move for the Green Bay Packers. That is
some one that we don't pay enough attention to around
the NFL, as commentators, as people who follow the support.
But they saw a distressed asset Malik Willis right, the
Titans were going on them. They were gonna put him
on the practice squad. Right, he probably would like because

(19:06):
they got Mason Rudolph and will Levis right there. They
and they clearly feel, well, I don't know clearly, but
they feel like will Levis is the answer to at
least this year's question. But they the Packers going and
using a resource to go get a guy who they
found that they could use and then boom pays dividends immediately.
That's why I'm always a fan of guys, of teams

(19:29):
making chance, they taking chances around the league. It didn't
work for Dallas and Trey Lance. But I'm never gonna
knock the move. No I'm not.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
I'm not gonna knock Trey Lance. He could end up
somewhere else. We've seen this with Baker Mayfield, We've seen
this with Sam Darnold. I'm not fully in there. I
still feel how I feel about the guy. But I've
always said when I'm showing new information. I'm allowed to
change my mind. Guys like I don't have to stay
with the same opinion. I think that's weekend sports talk
radio or TV when people just stay with the same
opinion and there's proof that your opinion is off now

(19:56):
and now, and then it gets to where your opinion's
just wrong and you still stick it. Just say you
were wrong and move on. You got new information in
front of you. So even with Sam Donald, I'm not
there yet, but they go in and win tomorrow. It's like, Okay,
the guy, you gotta get some weapons around every quarterback.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
He's just maybe matured into it.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
It you self, he's gonna be we' seen it with
Baker Mayfield, but also too with Malik the Freak. How
about going back into Tennessee and doing it with the Packers.
How about that going right back. You heard what he
said into Tennessee. Actually, no, I must have missed that.
He said prior to the game.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
He had said, you know, kind of reporters ratting revenge game,
so on and so forth. He was like, I have
nothing but nice things to say about the Tennessee Tillers.
He's like classy, He's like every check cast, I'm good
to go.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
That's right, that's right, that's right. But I'm still but
I'm about to go a head with y'all aast though.
I'm about to go ahead and give you I'm about
to go a head and give you a nail. So yeah,
But for tomorrow, man, this this is the game. I'm
definitely gonna be watching and have my eyes on early.
I don't have a picking yet. I know, I know
this would be one of our picks, but I think
I think Donald's in better positions. They're coaching their staff
there the offense and better position the packers because I

(21:00):
I like the weapons that they have here.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Justin Jefferson is just I mean, the kid is amazing.
Do you remember the last time Justin Jefferson and Jay
Elexander played against each other? Nah? I got fifteen yards
for Justin Jefferson and with five minutes left in the
first quarter, j Alexander hit it gritty in his face.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Oh okay, remember that? Need to go back now, I
don't remember. I need to go back on YouTube just
so I can get ready to watch this tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
I like when rivalries between Corners and DB's and receivers
are built.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I do. I like when that stuff's built. Man, who
was it? Who was it?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
With the Saints in the in the Bucks, Mike and
No Evans and a defensive.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Player Mike Evans and Marshall. Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah, And I think got ugly, ugly, like ugly, I
mean helmets off Andre Johnson and Courtland Finn.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Courtland, poor Courtland. I'll tell you what took a loss
for the light skinned brothers. Look, Courtland Finnegan took a loss.
And right now, if things keep up, this major college
football program is gonna take a loss too. But first
we'll kick it over to Steve the Seger for everything
trending in the world of sports.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
Steve, you're up, guys. It's only late first quarter at
Alabam Bama. Georgia is facing its largest deficit in three years.
It's Alabama over Georgia, twenty one nothing. In the final
minute of the first period, three drives, three touchdowns for
Bama for Georgia, a punt, an interception. Now they're ready
to punt again. Even after the first two dds. That

(22:17):
meant that Alabama was the first team in four years
to get two touchdowns in a first quarter against Georgia
since Florida did so and beat them in twenty twenty
again twenty one nothing. Alabama at home leads tonight against
number two ranked Georgia final minute of the first quarter.
Number three Ohio State has scored again. They're up seventeen
to seven at Michigan State mid second quarter. Illinois tied

(22:39):
at Penn State seven to seven in the second quarter.
Number fourteen LSU ahead of South Alabama twenty one nothing
late in the first halftime. Number eighteen Iowa State only
leads three nothing at Houston Houston one to three this year,
late second quarter at Clemson Tigers over Stanford ten nothing. Yes,
that is an acc game. Earlier, Number one Texas State

(23:02):
undefeated beating Mississippi State thirty five thirteen. Kentucky pulled off
the upset win at number six Old miss twenty to seventeen.
Number twelve Michigan held out at home, beating Minnesota twenty
seven to twenty four. At thirteenth ranked usc the Trojans
came from behind for their win over Wisconsin thirty eight
to twenty one. Top twenty matchup at Notre Dame went

(23:23):
to the Irish, beating Louisville thirty one to twenty four.
Kansas State down Oklahoma State forty two to twenty. Oklahoma
came back to win at Auburn twenty seven to twenty one.
Victories for BYU and Texas A and M, and among
the games in the ACC, Duke down twenty to nothing
at the half, beat rival North Carolina twenty one to twenty.

(23:44):
Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to play Sunday after
the knee injury. He's been a limited participant at practice
all week. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is due to start,
according to NFL media, despite his high ankle sprain. He's
been limited in practice all week and Chargers starting tackles
Rashaun Slater out. Also first round tackled Joe Alt now

(24:04):
doubtful linebacker Joey Bosa the Chargers out for tomorrow against
the Chiefs with a hip injury. The Dolphins will start
quarterback Tyler Huntley on Monday. Skyler Thompson has been limited
in practice with a rib injury. Miami will host Tennessee.
The USA Golfers lead the President's Cup eleven to seven
over the international team in Montreal. To baseball, the White

(24:25):
Sox got a win four nothing at Detroit. Now that
the Tigers clinched the playoff perth last night, but that
puts the White Sox record up to forty and one
twenty one with one day left in their regular season.
Pittsburgh beat the Yankees nine to four, and injury to
report from the Yanks today, first baseman Anthony Rizzo was
hit by a pitch broke two fingers. The Braves are

(24:46):
tied one to one with the Royals, top of the
sixth on Fox TV. They're about to go to the
fifth inning. Mets are getting shot out at Milwaukee two nothing.
Brewers Diamondbacks scoreless against the Padres in the bottom of
the second. These three team games I mentioned, Braves, Mets,
Diamondbacks are fighting for the last two playoff spots, the
last two wild cards in the National League.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Back to you, you know, Steve, the This Georgia Alabama game.
Alabama on track right now. I just did this, meth
seven hundred I'm sorry, yeah, seven hundred ninety two yards
of a total offense. Yeah, but they're on track.

Speaker 6 (25:20):
It's about two hundred yards for three drives.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
They have nine first downs. Georgia has one nine first
downs in the first nine first downs and a half
would be good.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
They have mercifully ended the first quarter. So yeah, one
first down in the first quarter and you're already down
twenty one zip on the road if you're the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
And see the difference with these two teams too.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
When you think about Georgia over the last two year, Steve,
like I said, they lost one get eight. They were dominant,
but losing that SEC championship game. And then let's get real,
they beat up on a Florida State team that had
a huge amount of kids that didn't even show up
to play that game they were playing.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
Georgia was disappointed in that match exactly on the field.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Exactly they were exactly they were so and then you
have a lot of guys that you've lost over the
last two years. It just really looks like Bamas is
the team that cashed in on the portal and they
have the better quarterback that is now two years and
you know, removed from just getting first starting.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Gig and now it's like his year.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
And in college football, when you have that quarterback, that's
the team that normally is gonna get to the national
championship game and blow everybody.

Speaker 6 (26:21):
And mil Rose so nearly won that Rose Bowl semifinal.
Last year, Saban was still coaching Georgia had started twelve
and oh last year until they lost Tobama in the
close conference final. And how did Georgia do this year?
They just stomp Clemson to open the season, remember, and
we thought, okay, I guess Clemson's not a top twenty team.
And then you know, they get the usual playing nobody

(26:43):
in September, and then they played at Kentucky and actually
won the low scoring game.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Kentucky gave him hell. Yeah, yeah, they gave him hell.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
And the blueprint is out on Georgia. You gotta put
a defense on the field. I don't know if you
want to try to outscore them, but if you put
a defense on the field, which Alabama has, you can
shut this softens down. And that's alarming because this doesn't
look like this could be their only loss.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
You know what else is alarming? Is there any difference
for what we've seen in Alabama right now than what
we saw from Alabama last year? Not a single thing,
I mean, but but the Dick difference is Nick Saban
works for your ESPN. What he's got, he left a lot.
He left a lot in the refrigerator.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Though he left a lot in the refrigerator, Saban left
a lot in Caleb and the Caleb downs that. I mean,
you're talking about getting these type of players that uh
that that left even with him leaving this downsplays, I know,
leaving that's what leaving and going to Ohio.

Speaker 6 (27:36):
State, added the seventeen year old Williams.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Yeah, exactly. The kid's seventeen years old. It's just it's
just crazy what they continue to do. But it also
shows what a name of a program can do for you,
just the name alone, regardless of who's coaching there. Did
people think Alabama honestly was just gonna fall off the map,
like the board didn't go and change Washington and the
blink of a not right, he has them in a
national championship game.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
So the guy ibously could coach football Washington. We got
to say that again loud. Yes, Washington was dominated in
the last two years. And of course if you're in
Alabama you can steal the All American kickers.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
There you go, right, we are losing. We know exactly
where where he is. You know exactly where it is.
Thanks Steve. This stuff man, oh look at that about
that Donald Trump at the game.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
And this is and this is the type of this
is the part of the season two, Martin real Tall,
this is we're gonna Like I said, we start the
top of the hour by talking about the twelve team
playoff and how September is not what it used to be.
But one thing that still happens is the cream starts
to really separate. You really can start to see teams separate,
you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, okay, maybe we
didn't think they were as good as Oh wow, we

(28:39):
didn't know this team was this good like Colorado.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
They better be ranked come Monday. They're sitting at four
and one.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
You got these other teams losing and dropping games they've
gone on the road. They better be ranked come Monday.
Like stop just stop playing around, and some of these
other teams need to fall up.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Now. Georgia gets blown out.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
I know you said, you know, six or seventh, but
Georgia gets wiped out by thirty forty points tonight. I
think I think that's worth an additional two to three spot,
But I can't say I because we know all miss
falls out of six.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Okay, So let's just do you you, I know you
remember this the Chargers uh Jaguars playoff game we were
watching in Trevor Lawrence. Yeah was it was it? Three
picks four picks on the first okay, right, and you
were like they gotta no, bet, said Bencham. They were
like bench, I said Bencham. And then because the Chargers
had this big lead, and I was telling you at

(29:27):
the moment, I was like, how do we think this
game is going to end? Right?

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Like?

Speaker 2 (29:31):
How many points do we really think that the Chargers
are gonna score? Right? They could have They should have
put up fifty right now, right. I just have trouble
with thinking that Alabama's gonna have eight hundred and fifty
yards to total offense.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
They won't have that, but I think they're gonna have
about four to seventy four eight. They might have five hundred,
because why would you Another thing I I do like
about the bar and he did it in Washington.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
He doesn't take his foot off the pedal.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
If they're gonna beat you fifty five to ten, sixty
two to thirty, then that's just what it's going to be.
We're not telling our kids not to play hard and
guess what okay, I'll sub some guys in this running back.
He was a five star recruit to the backup or
the receiver. Oh yeah, the junior that's really worked himself in.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Yet when we.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Recruit him, he was a four star kid. You know,
we just have other kids come in and pass him.
But he's still gonna go catch a touchdown. All your
dbs right now. So, like I said, this, this game
fells like it can get. Uglas said that the fourteen nothing,
we're looking at twenty one nothing, and here they are
just running around the edge another eight yard.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I'll tell you what, if that had been a read
option and Milroe had been able to take it to
the other side, it might be twenty eighth.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Yeah, well that's coming. That's twenty ain't nothing, it's Coming's
thirty five right here.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Now this is a straight run. Oh wow, I know that.
You see that Alabama has run two trick plays this drive.
Oh man, I just not just showing off. I mean
really are doing so quickly. I wanted to ask you
this b of separation. Right the Pittsburgh Steelers right now,
three and oh every other team in the division has

(30:58):
yet to reach two wins. Justin field starting all three. Hey,
walking into Indianapolis tomorrow, the even still three and one,
they have a one game lead on the division. Regardless
whatever happens tomorrow and over the football weekend. What chance
do you give the Steelers to hang on to it? Though?

(31:20):
Because both Cincinnati offensively has looked good. Wow, there you go,
jalb What did I say? I just said twenty eight
nothing's coming, and here we are thirty six yard touchdown
run by Jalen Milroe. I hate to do this, but
I want to do it. I haven't said it yet.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Once, y'all go ahead and start shining up that trophy
in New York.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
What's that thing called? Begins with it?

Speaker 3 (31:39):
It's got a little bronze dude on it that's doing
like a pole. Oh the Heisman, Yeah, that thing y'all
might want to start kind of you know brushing, you know, start.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
What's the tool? What's the tool? Yeah? You can't use
that for him? You can't use that for him because
you use it for him Hooker and and and it
sounded better with him than Hooker. You're better off just
going they said you couldn't play Jay you you're better
off just sticking with that from last year they did.

(32:09):
He said he couldn't play podcast I was telling I'm
trying to tell it. I'm the one that had to
sit here and listen to it all. You tried to
tell him, Jalen, they said you couldn't play it. Saving
didn't have a quarterback. Look at this right here, step
out off. God, look at that. This kid is amazing.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
That's a football player right there. He's not a quarterback.
He's a football don't you know what? You know what,
let's talk about restoring some order. We got guys like
saving sa save it over there, looking like you wish
he could go grab well, she was still on his highline.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
You look mad. He wanted to grab a face. Man said,
come here, son, come here.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
So there is not a more grumpy, unhappy winner I've
ever seen in my life than Nick Sabing. Goodness, gracious, dude, Like, smile,
It's okay. God, this guy's got ninety seven national championship.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Do you think ever smile or do you think he's
sitting down there thinking I recruited all these suckers. Now
this is the way they play exactly exactly.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
He didn't run like that on that last play against
Michigan on on the three yard line to win the game.
The tie was the TI They would have tied it
up for overtime, put in doupit overtime.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
But I just never seen a more unhappy dude. Man,
God that brother. Speaking of unhappy, we just saw one
of the one of the full judas. Little groups of
sports broken up unceremoniously last night. Who won. We'll get
to that coming up next. Martin Wis's VJ Husky Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Fox Sports Football Saturday coming to you live from knee
Tireck dot Com Studios. Martin Wis's VJ Husky Coming to
the top of the hour. We would getting to some
NFL talk, but we saw one of the little you know,
it was cute for a long time, right a little minute,
The Nova Knicks, The Nova Knicks. Then Dyalen Brunton takes
you cut and Dante Devincenzo's guy shipped out to Minnesota.

(34:04):
Cargland Lee Towns the headliner of the trade going to
the New York Next, Julius Randall and Dante de Vincenzo
and the Detroit first run of coming back to Minnesota. Uh,
quickly as we keep it eye on this Georgia and
Alabama game. Just wanted to dive in talk a little
NBA trade because that kind of had everybody buzzing last night.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Yeah, but I would be remiss if I didn't remind
people by saying that when they were playing in that
last playoff series, I'd said on this show. In another
shows I was on, Carnthony Towns has dribbled his last
playoff series or game as of Minnesota Timberwolves. I can
see the writing on the wall they were going to
move on from him. I thought God Bear would be
the guy that they should move on from. But I
just knew it was gonna be car Anthony Towns. They

(34:43):
weren't playing them down the stretching some games he had,
he had a horrible playoffs. Seers were like one or
two good games. He wentn't balling. He just wasn't like
they weren't playing because then one team exactly, he was
just you know, he's one of those guys. To me,
as I say about Paul George, we've seeing the best
car Anthony Towns. We're going to see his game is

(35:04):
taking a step back because he's concentrated so much on
being a three point shooter. He is no longer banging
in the post. He no longer has a post move
or jump hook or just a little eight foot you know,
big man.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
He don't have none of that no more.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
He's either driving to the hoop, he's he's fragile, he
gets hurt.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
He hasn't worked on this body.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
When you look at car Anthony Towns, don't you want
him to be more a little more physically fitting than
he looks like he is? Just like, dude, you're such
a big guy, Why don't you look better? Why don't
you got no cuts and no biceps and no trap
pieces and muscles like bulging out the.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Top of your jersey? Why are you not built like
Dwight Howard?

Speaker 7 (35:43):
Like?

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Why why are you built like our venus a bonus?
Like there's there's there that matters in sports and basketball
to me? And now that he's concentrated on being this
three point shooter, I just think it's softened this game.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
And I don't think this was a good trade for
the Knicks.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
If your next quesch is gonna be VJ who wanted
to try Minnesota won the trade. Deevid Tinto is a monster.
The Knicks are crazy for giving him up. This is
not going to work out well for the New York Nickobocas.
You mark my words. I'm saying it right now, September
twenty eighth, Fox Sports Radio, Martin VJ. This is not
gonna go well for minute for the Nicobocas. It's gonna

(36:20):
go much better for the Minnesota timber Wolves.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Yeah. No, I agree with that aspect of it. The
next part is weird because now your best post player
is a point guard, your best three point shooter is
seven feet tall. Right, It's at a little bit backwards there.
But for me, no, there's the tips connection there though,
So I get I kind of get it. Car Anthony
Towns consistently has shown that he is the opposite of

(36:45):
a guy that shows up in the playoffs. Yeah he
is not. He's absent Ferris Bueller as soon as it
gets as soon as it gets the game game five, six, seven,
series right. And I understand there was some excenuating circumstances
down the stretch for some of that, but the moment,
the reality was as soon as Carl into the town
show that he was not going to be able to
be a number two consistent playoff performer for this Minnesota team.

(37:07):
He had to go made too much money. Just the
way it works, exactly, just the way it works. I
think they knew you have made this move.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Hell yeah, now I know if you if you're the Knicks,
Oh yeah, because I was hearing things about how Devin
like the thing that we overlook about the Knicks from
last year.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Right, But here's the thing. A lot of those guys,
like Heart de Vincenzo, uh uh, they weren't playing big
minutes Hartenstein. They weren't playing big minutes at the start
of the season. It's because different guys got hurt down
the stretch. Memory. That was kind of the story of
the Knicks, Like, can you believe how they just have
all these guys in their bench. Well, here's the thing

(37:46):
I find that I take the Vincenzo. I just saw
myself light up through the playoffs. But so you're gonna
tell me now, because og Nnobi's hamstring feels better, I
gotta play less minutes.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Hold on, Tim, If you're a team guy, yeah, if
you're a team.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Guy, yeah, that is what it is. I'm a money guy.
I feel you got paid money. He got paid. But
at the end of the day, I just this is
great for Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
You've gotten you're getting extra wing guys, extra perimeter guys.
Guess who That takes the pressure off of. That takes
the pressure off of and and now you got veterans.
You got some vets there in the back corning on
the wing to really help this kid out. I love it, man,
I really do for Minnesota. I think it's great for Minnesota.
As Georgia has scored a touchdown, now they got a
two point conversion, but a flag has been thrown, so

(38:33):
we'll see on that. But Georgia not rolling over six
poin forty three left in the second quarter. They go downfield. Strike, strike, strike, strikes, strike.
But Kirby was not happy during the last time out,
very demostravo on the sideline, undressing everybody that's got a
red Georgia helmet on like a head coach should.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I never when your team doesn't show up, I never mind, man,
you know, you know, getting in in front of everybody
like you know, it is what it is. It's football.
You also do have to consider your role that you play.
But to the point I think that uh, the really
the reality is this is a long game. I know,
of course a lot more football to be played, and
if Alabama doesn't score again, Georgia probably wins this thing.

(39:11):
I know that may sound crazy, but football is weird, man.
But we've also talked.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
About Georgia has slow starts and they get that kind
of gig goings. Head coach, quarterback divorce happened last year.
They'll go against each other this weekend. We'll get to
that coming up next.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
That's right. If we're broadcasting lie from the tire rack
dot com studiost iraq dot com, we'll help you get
there with an unmaxed election, fast free shipping, free Reid
Act of Protection and over ten thousand recommended this dollars
tire rack dot com. So where that tire buying should be?
Jaalen mirroll eleven for eleven, forty nine yards passing and
a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
I think he's having like an okay game. I'm not
sure if this is you know, okay.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
So I know it. I know it's not true, but
he reminds me like when I was in college watching
Denoral Robinson. There were times where I would watch him
do things and say, oh, this is the best player
I've ever seen in my life. Now it was never true, right,
but on individual plays and sometimes like yo, how is
anybody better than this? And like sometimes he tucks the

(40:14):
ball and runs from the quarterback spot, It's like, Yo,
how was anybody ever? Like I know there are players
I can't go there. I can't go there. No, no, no, no,
no no. I'm saying just on the individual when you're
watching it in the moment, I got you as a
as a fan, not like when you're sitting there with
your analyst hat on and then you sit there trying
to rank the top five quarterback runs you've ever seen. No, no,
it's just in the moment, Like it's just some players

(40:37):
just jump off the screen.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
He jumps off the screen. But I haven't had that
feeling when I watch him. A great player, not taking
nothing away from him that and even with Denard and
me being a lifelong Michigan fan, I was just in
love with the guy because we never had at that point,
Michigan had never had a running black quarterback and the
history of their program, so to get one when that
was you know, the trend in certain areas of football,

(41:01):
depending up kind office you want to run. That was
exciting for me, But I never looked at him and thought, man,
I just the category I have him in is every
time he takes off, you think he can score. It's
like Steph Curry, right, every time Steph Curry shoot. Yeah,
every time Steph Curry shoots a three pointer, you can't
tell me you don't.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Think it's going in. You do. Every time. You know
he's not.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Gonna make them all. He's only gonna shoot forty two,
forty three percent. We know that, but you don't know
which ones are gonna go in, so you just think
all of them are and you know he's gonna miss something.
When Mike Vick used to take off, you just thought
he was gonna score. Every single time. Cam Newton when
he was at Auburn, you just knew when he took

(41:44):
off out of the pocket, even somebody was getting run over, Yeah, like,
no one's gonna stop him. Even if you know a guy,
it could be ten guys in front of him. You
just felt he was gonna do something to make all
ten of those guys miss that. That's what I kind
of feel when I watch Jalen Milrose, Like when this
kid gets more moving.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
This stadium kind of stands up.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
You kind of lean up off your sofa a little
bit because you think something magical is gonna happen. It's
like Pat Mahomes, right, when Pat Mahomes breaks the pocket
and he's still looking downfield, you bet you can't move,
don't leave the team.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
It's a moment, it's about to happen. Like it's a moment.
It's a moment when Judge's got that the two count
and the seventh thing is like, oh, oh, I just
w goes into place. But it's but you know what
I'm saying, it's oh, you know what I'm saying, Hans maguire.
So you hear that crack, Oh that's that's that's never
gonna HP.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
You thought every swing that year, remember the home run Chase.
You thought every swing was going to be a home run.
That's what separates Yeah, I feel you, though, But Jalen
d he's got that. He's got that sauce this year. Man,
I'm not Hey, listen, they were they were a stop
on a three yard line from Michigan, you know, knocking
them out. They can get back. Man, you got the quarterback,

(42:54):
you got the skill positions. You got the offensive line,
got the defensive line. Hell, it could beat them in
Texas for a now championship game, a rematch up?

Speaker 2 (43:01):
What would it be? Oh well, seven, eighth, nine, one
of those years in there where nine. I want a
good amount of money. Been on Alabama.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
Yeah, saving you got doused and got mad about it.
Another thing, got upset about win a national champions all right,
But you talking about taking a swing.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Yeah. Kyler Murray decided to retire from taking swing and
playing NFL football, and Cliff Kingsbury took a swing to
try to make Kyler Murray a great quarterback in the NFL.
He said, I stuck my career on this guy. I
don't know if you saw the quotes, he said, I
stuck my career on this guy. Of course at the
East dynamic and incredible and uh. But the other place
where they're saying they got the quarterback Washington and they do.

(43:40):
I'm just saying that's what they say. That's sports talk
radio hosted at d NB all around and say, hey,
you know what, we got a quarterback Chicago. We don't
know yet exactly probably not yeah, oh yeah, okay, but
in Washington all week they said, we got the guy

(44:01):
Capitol T Capitol G. And how about that Cliff Kingsbury
masterclass he dialed up for and Jayden Daniels executing on
that Monday night last time these two teams, last time
that team played. Yeah, this is a big game this weekend.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
This is one of the really big games this weekend,
because you got like Arizona should be two to one.
I mean, you're really up there and handling. You're hanging
in with Buffalo opening Sunday. You probably could have got
out of there with a duck and look how good
Buffalo is exactly. So you look at this commander's team
and it was Mario, I believe it was both. I
know it's mine. I think it was yours too. I
know Arizona you loved, but one of our kind of like, hey,

(44:38):
just kind of watched this team. Not sure if they'll
make the playoffs, but they're not gonna be drafted at
the top ten. They're not gonna Yeah, they're not gonna
be drafted at the top ten. They they got some
guys there, they got some weapons there. You know the
defense is going to be good. Why because Dan Quinn's
the head coach and dan Quinn has always had a
great defense. Whether he's a head coach or he was
the coordinator, he's always had a top five defense.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
So the defense is going to be great. Now you
have a young.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
Quarterback that you can really tell right now, just go
out and play. You're a rookie. You're not gonna We're
not gonna cut you this year. We're not you're not
gonna be out of the NFL in one year.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Just go play.

Speaker 3 (45:12):
And now you got Kingsbury that kind of fits more
is what he is. He's just a scheme and a
play call guy. I don't know if he can ever
be a great head coach again, but he'll always have
a job, whether in college or in the NFL calling
the plays and running an office. That is something this
man can do. And now you've given him this type
of young weapon. Listen, I'm watching this game Monday night, Martin,

(45:34):
and I'm just like, Okay, I know it's early, and
I'm trying not to get over zealous, and you know,
the first four weeks, you know, I'd like to break
the season up in quarters. But man, I'm ready to
look at this kid and go, God, maybe we were
all wrong as far as the offensive rookie of the
year goes, Maybe we were just all wrong about it
because I didn't hear nobody say it was gonna be
this kid. I have Maserati marv uh, most people have
Kaitlyn Williams. And where where was the best? Where was

(45:55):
the numbers? On on on on, Jason on Jada. Jayden
was a second favorite?

Speaker 2 (45:59):
Was he second?

Speaker 3 (46:00):
Fair?

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Okay? But to me he's the runaway first. Well, now, yeah,
I mean I'm talking about going into the year.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
You use up there, you go in Arizona and you
get this dubbed tomorrow They hello who after four weeks?
Who had Washington at the top of the NFC East.
No one did that. That would be impressive. But this
is what happens when you draft the kid and you
get a defensive mind of the coach.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
You know who they remind me of right now?

Speaker 3 (46:24):
Is I sit and I watched them the first three
that you know what they remind me of what Houston
looked like last year. Number two pick, quarterback, defensive minded,
coach already kind of got some weapons. Add this quarterback,
get this kid a good coordinator and just say, hey.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
Man, just go play on the offensive line. There.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
Yeah, well you're better. No, right, you know I know
that I'm saying. No, I'm just saying that's what you
better do. And they did it. I look at them,
and I'll go, wow, this kind of looks like what Houston.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
Looked like last year.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
And if it comes down to late in the season
and they need a couple of games and say they
got the Eagles and they got Dallas on the schedule, Hey,
I'm not just gonna handle the Dallas in Philly. I
might go, hey, Washington, they might steal this thing. Might
they might steal this thing? Look at Philly right now?
Look at Dallas right now? Right Washington might be the
best team in the nfcas who had that going in

(47:15):
the first four weeks.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Not me, No, They're up there in the NFC West
is kind of shaky, especial when the forty nine ers losses,
depending on how you feel about how good Seattle is,
right right, But you know, I kind of I wonder
how fool's gold it is when you go to over
tireker says who you are, who your record says you are?
Oh my good, Hey, I'm done. I'm sick of hearing

(47:36):
people tell me that Carson Beck is better than Shador Sanders.
I'm done, I'm sick, I'm tired of it.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
This guy's got five stars up and down, left, right,
and center, and this is the fourth.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
That is so what third? He's been trying to th
interceptions all game. Shador Sanders is on his back and
he's got one guy to throw the ball to. Travis Hunter,
Jimmy Horning, Jude is pretty good. But Shador Sanders is
better than Carson Beck. Sorry, I'm in fact, I take
that back. I'm not sorry. He's better than Carson. Look
at he he miss read. Look at the read though.
This is crazy. Look at this wine open up.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
But not only that, he throws into four defenders. He
uses his eyes. I love this picture of boom and
there's where he goes. But right there, when you switch
your ahead and you see bro, you've got to see
that linebacker.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
You can't make this throw. And he knows it.

Speaker 3 (48:19):
He knows it, he knows it. But it's too late.
There's no time machine. No, there's no Marty McFly, but
there's no Doc Evererson.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Just sorry, this this is gonna happen this time? Was
It happens every year? Remember it happened with Will Levis
last year, and he's gonna be We're all gonna forget
about all of this. As soon as a national championship
gain ends, no matter who's playing in it, we will
all forget about all of this, and then all summer
we will hear how you gotta take a guy like Back,

(48:45):
You can't miss back leading up to the drive. Yeah yeah,
I mean, but you gotta hear the way the scouts
just rave about Carson Back, and then you're gonna hear
the same thing. Well, you know, shit Door has got
the personality issue. Yeah yeah, yeah, he got he's got
the personality. And you know, you know you's got a
rap song on this side, Tom, you on this side.

(49:07):
Because I'm because I'm sicking because like I'm hired or too.
I'm watching people tweet when Colorado I'm not even a
Colorado guy, right, I thought they'd win five games this
year there, Well they're at four now now okay, so
let mean it would take coach prom Husky, it would
take a miraculous collapse to get there. But I'm watching
people veteran NFL right, are venerated NFL writers tweeting. I

(49:29):
just don't know how you see Shador Sanders as the
first round pick. When he throws that ball to fourteen
in between three defenders, I'm like, what am I the
only one watching football anymore? I understand that we do
a lot of this talking on social media, but lord at.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
Mercy and he'll have a great procarce, He'll have a
great pro day. He'll you know, he'll wow people, and
in some way, somehow people will talk themselves into him
being a high drive pick and better than some of
these other quarterbacks. I guarantee you there'll be people that
say he's better than Jyaln Milroe. Guaranteed, mark it down,
Stamp it. I don't put it on the board. Guarantee

(50:04):
there will be people that will rate him higher than
Jalen Millroe going into the NFL draft between twenty five.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
It's just it's just maddening to me. I just don't.
I don't under like I watched these two. It's just
when you sit there and watch, it's like my eyes
are telling me one thing and I understand the whole Oh, well,
you know he's been rich his entire life. Okay, so
what what? So what? I just don't We've seen kids

(50:31):
rich their entire life and they suck. I just don't
get I just don't real I don't understand what the
what the what the pushback is. Have you ever seen
a player some of the other people that are you
know that we're comparing. It's not like it's like, oh,
Andrew luckersh Door Sanders, Okay, well, okay, I got Even
Trevor Lawrence in college is okay, I got you. I'm

(50:52):
with you. You've just a field. I'm with you. No,
I'm the guys. I'm looking at this this class. Yeah, no,
stop it that.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
Not only have you ever seen a kid who's throwing
for more four hundred and three hundred yard games where
you just don't hear about it?

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Right, we don't blow it up. We don't. We don't
make this huge deal. We don't make this huge deal
about it.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
And should Door goes out something one of the games,
I looked, I said, oh wow.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
What is Deona talking to? Oh, coach Park.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
That's right, he did throw for four hundred and something
yards and it's just kind of brushed away. If some
of these other quarterbacks went out and did that, man,
even if Dylan Gabriel went out and throw for four
hundred some yards, we'd be saying, oh my God, get
him into New York, get him in Radio City Music Hall.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
He should be on a Heisman.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
Watch Shador Sanders is doing this week after week like
it's with no offensive line and one guy.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
To throw it to one guy the other kid. He's okay,
But Jimmy or you will play on Sunday's Lejohntey Webster
will also probably play on Sundays. But in terms of
high level pro talent, like number one, top five, pick
five star pick like, but here's the in thean is whispering.
You're talking about cam Ward cam Ward. How old is

(52:04):
cam Woard thirty two? I'll check on it right now.
Cam Wore is twenty four years old. He's twenty four
to twenty five years old. He's twenty two two? Oh wow,
wow when he when he started playing college when he's sixteen?
Because I felt like he's been in college for five
Remember watching cam Ward on a poloose yea. I think
he's a true senior this year has it been for? Okay? Wow,

(52:27):
cam Wored can play. He's nice, he's he's not that
a shad, but he's just small to me, he's not
that a smaller shot. And listen and listen, we all
know how this goes with these draft picks and these quarterbacks.
Right this next draft, guess what, guys, it's gonna be
a ton of quarterbacks taking again. They all just don't
pan out. It's just it's just not how it happens. Listen,
if the Bears don't have a defense, they're owing three.

(52:48):
They're owing three. They're not They're getting nothing from kayleb
Williams right now. They're nothing from Kayler Williams. And he's
got all the pieces around him, but he thinks he's
still at USC. That's the problem with show.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
That's the problem with kaylor was from from what I've
seen over the first three games.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Speaking of the West Coast, well, oh my lord, this
game is ridiculous. As Milrolle throws a tipball interception, it
looks like it might be coming back as a flag.
We'll keep you updated on this Alabama Georgia game and
dive into the NFL. Does this star player need to
sit on Sunday? Coming up next? Martin White Vida Husky,
Fox Sports Football Saturday. Who was that?

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio radio.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Uh no, you're not.

Speaker 8 (53:28):
You're listening to Martin and VJ on Fox Sports Radio. Well,
actually is the maker of the song? This is well
before my time period?

Speaker 2 (53:36):
Dare all right? If it's not before my time period,
it has not come across my desk. I'll put it
like that. Okay, I gotta I gotta cut in right here.
What is this? What do we listen to? Who is this?

Speaker 8 (53:44):
This is a very interesting young man that that goes
by Macarros eighty two ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Yeah, okay, it sounds like somebody's supposed to go coming
up next. It's sadly Jesse you raphie l.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
Ladies and gentlemen, ricky guys.

Speaker 5 (54:10):
How people listening to the podcast are so confused right
now without the background music to.

Speaker 2 (54:15):
Go with, Well, this music should or you know, this
is easily Well, I'll tell you this. If you listen
to the podcast, you've ever walked into an elevator in
a hotel in West Hollywood. It's that song. They're all
the it's the same song at all, right, you know,
it's all the same song with different artists, but sounds
like a club scene from a movie with a bunch

(54:37):
of SNL characters.

Speaker 7 (54:38):
In it.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
That's what it sounded like. Well, it'll be characters on
tomorrow morning. Because football fans, be sure to tune in
the Fox Sports Radio every Sunday morning ten am Eastern,
seven am Pacific for Countdown to Kickoff. That's presented by
Bet mgm, Brian No, Jeff Schwartz, and professional better Bill Krackenberger.
Well have you covered three hours for kickoff? Every Sunday morning,
listen to Countdown to kick offf presented by Bett mgm

(55:01):
right here on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
We're coming to your life at the Tirack dot com studios.
You can hit us up on Twitter. I'm at Martin
Wis's VJ is at the Big Nay. There you go,
said the hype man. Harry says. Sec road wins aren't
easy to find, but the old alma mater, somehow, by
the grace of God, found one Oklahoma. Oh yeah, yeah

(55:25):
they did. They came back and pulled that bad boy
artist to blow it on the road. They sure did.
T Hunter already busting out the heisman like big Vanilla
Buddy and peak varsity domination. That's right, David Samuels, that's right. They'
know what something baby, They see me on them sidelines out.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
There, Hammer and Haink be getting buckets on us Man
be getting lose. But Brian Alberts at Fox Sports Radio,
at Martin Weis's at Big Vanilla Funny NYC about the
finally celebrate a Knicks championship in twenty twenty five. Pass
me whatever you're smoking, please, I want some of that.

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Not not even close.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
There are people that are actually got to really try
to push this there because they got cat that they're
now a championship contender. They're not a championship contender. They're
not close. Philly's better, Boston's better, Milwaukee's better, their pacers
are better.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
They're the same championship contender they were before they made
this trip. There you go, I don't see, Yeah, I don't.
This is not a measuring stick move for me. No,
not at all. There's three teams in the East better.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
They're fourth or fifth seed at best when it comes
to this move, I'm telling you losing the pieces of
giving up what they gave up. Now, another name we
didn't throw in this, just real fact, Julius random, we
didn't throw that name in there. What do you think
about him being included in this and we went on
because it looked like he had found a home in
New York for a while there, and.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
People started, well, there's a problem. He's not a number
one option and guess what, ninety eight percent of the
NBA isn't either. But when they signed him in New York,
they were like, this is gonna be our guy that's
going to lead us to the Salvation Land. And they
now since switched over to Jalen Brunston and Randalls persona grade.

(57:04):
James Brunston went and took it well. I mean he
was hurt, so it was tough for you know, Randall
missed the end of the year. It was I remember
penal podcast Julius friendly for want to come back. It's like, dude,
what are you talking about? Isaiah Harts. I was playing
forty seven minutes a game. Is so weird? Yeah, who
he asked you that. I think they could use a

(57:27):
body in general, and if it was Julius Randalls, they
prefer it.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
Yeah, like you want your guys. Well what do people
be saying nowadays?

Speaker 2 (57:35):
Anyway? Do you think Justin Herbert should play tomorrow?

Speaker 7 (57:38):
No?

Speaker 2 (57:39):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (57:39):
Jimmy Burker's do the right thing, baby, set him down,
Set him down.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
It's early. You don't risk guys early. You don't risk
guys early.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
I had to hold out a receiver last night, one
of my favorite kids on the team. But I put
him to a pregame and he had to do all
the cuts I wanted him to do. He had to
run all the routes I wanted him to run, and
I didn't see what I wanted to see out of
him and the kids. I start the wall and I
had to really put my hand on this helmet, pull
into my face and go listen. It's the fifth game
of the year, a year of sophomore. You have a

(58:08):
long career ahead of you. We're not gonna waste it
on a game in Calabasas. We're not doing that, all right.
You gotta sit tonight, man. You gotta save these players
from themselves. If he's hurt, If it's a my thing,
is this Martin? If it's a question Siddle, If it's
a question ci are you? Are they beating the chief tomorrow?
They're not gonna beat them without them? Are they beating

(58:30):
them with them?

Speaker 2 (58:32):
They have a shot? Oh you do you? I don't know, man, sheefs,
she's look kind of she's look kind of strong. Right, No,
I'm but the Chiefs are the best team in the
NFL right now. But if you're telling me that, if
you're telling me that you hired Jim Harbaugh to not
have a shot to beat to win the division and
all of that, that I don't know what we're talking about.
Because you're playing can't win the division without beating Kansas City. Yeah,

(58:53):
you're playing because it's just the thing to do. If
you're asking me, would I hold them out?

Speaker 3 (58:59):
Yes, I would hold him out Tomorrow. There's bigger fish
to fry down the line. We'll get them, we'll get
him back. But he goes out and reaggivate something or
hurt something even worse.

Speaker 2 (59:10):
Now now you look, hey, listen, you're two and one,
so it worse, Yeah, worse. You're a five hundred. You
getta go to two and two. You're not you're not
one two.

Speaker 3 (59:17):
And if you lose them, aw, you're wonning three air
five hundred. It gets another week off, you bring them
back in week five, you move on from there. That
That's how I would do it.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
I just think if you're cleared and you can move
and protect yourself. I think you should play.

Speaker 7 (59:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (59:31):
I don't know. I don't, I don't. I'm not a
fan of football load management, and I don't think it's
load management.

Speaker 3 (59:37):
I think it's just it's early in the year and
you don't want to it's your quarterback, man, it's your guy,
it's your fifty five million dollar quarterback. I just don't
think you risk that this early in the season. Week nine,
week ten, you're playing. This is not a Week four,
two and one, you know. I just I just think, hey, hey, buddy,

(59:58):
if it's if there's a question, let's let's just sit
you today.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Let's just sit you today. Think about it. We got
we had fourteen weeks to go. It's a long season.
It's long season. He goes out and reaccava.

Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
He goes out and gets landed on by Chris Jones tomorrow, Okay,
all right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
If he goes out and gets landed on by uh Colas,
I say, calaskis from Purdue, Carl, Carl. They locked this
same thing. Like if you know they're playing the Giants
two weeks from now, when Dexter Lawrence falls on him
and he gets hurt, then it's like, oh, well, guess what,
You've delayed the inevitable. But two weeks you're seven point underdog. Man,

(01:00:37):
is your game? I know. I'll tell you what under
the seven point of the dog's been winning out right.
That ain't safe. But there's seven point dogs went all right? Everything?

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Is that not?

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
That's true? You're right every week.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
I'm pretty okay, Man, my first three weeks I've done.
I bro I made a little I made a little
piece of change man on some of these games that
I didn't think would cash in. It's just the bet
I wanted to take it. When it did, I'm like, whoa, Okay,
I'll telly this. We're both doing that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
In the University of Georgia, Steve de Seger will tell
us about more about their plights and struggles. That's up
right now, Yeah, hey, no, here we go.

Speaker 6 (01:01:23):
It is halftime at number four Alabama. Bama leads number
two Georgia thirty to seven. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe eighteen
of twenty passing one hundred and eighty six yards, one
TV one interception.

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
On the ground.

Speaker 6 (01:01:37):
The quarterback with nine carries one hundred and six yards
rushing in the first half and two other touchdowns. Bama
had four tds on its first four possessions, thirty to seven.
Alabama at the break leading Georgia by the way. The
last time before tonight that Georgia gave up three touchdowns
and more in the first quarter of a game was

(01:01:57):
over a decade ago, when South Carolina stopped him. Currently,
it's number three Ohio State leading twenty four to seven
at Michigan State early in the third, early third quarter,
Illinois still tied at number nine Penn State seven to seven.
Number eighteen Iowa State has scored to go up ten
to nothing at Houston early fourth quarter. Late in the
third at number seventeen Clemson, it's the Tigers over Stanford

(01:02:20):
twenty to seven. Fourteenth ranked LSU with a halftime lead
of thirty five to three against South Alabama. Coming up
in a half an hour on FS one, Number twenty
five Boise State host Washington State, and in an hour
and a half on Fox TV. Number eight Oregon is
a big favorite at UCLA. That'll be after the baseball
and the Mets are getting shut out right now in

(01:02:42):
the battle for one of the two final wildcard spots
in the National League the Mets are losing three to
nothing at Milwaukee bottom of the eighth well, the Braves
are tied at home against Kansas City one to one.
In the top of the ninth. Arizona at home is
scoreless against the Padres in the top of the sixth inning.
The Dodgers have an eight to two lead at Colorado.
In the top of the fifth, sho hey Otani now

(01:03:03):
with fifty four homers and fifty eight stolen bases on
the season. Earlier, the Yankees and Philadelphia each loss. That
Philly loss clinched the number one overall seed for the Dodgers.
Cleveland lost at home that clinched the one seed in
the American League for the Yankees. Yankees did suffer an
injury today in his first baseman, Anthony Rizzo hit by
a pitch and broke two fingers. Detroit clinched its playoff

(01:03:26):
berth last night. It lost in shutout fashion to the
White Sox today for nothing, so that ends the Tigers
six game winning streak. The USA Golfers lead the President's
Cup eleven to seven. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is due
to start tomorrow, according to NFL media.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
Despite his high ankles.

Speaker 6 (01:03:43):
Frame Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to play Sunday
after the knee injury. The Dolphins will start quarterback Tyler
Huntley on Monday. Once again, in college football, it's halftime
at Bama. Alabama thirty to seven over Georgia, and today
Kentucky was a winner at number six Old Men twenty
to seventeen.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
Back to you, thanks Steve Martin and BJ coming to
you live from the tire rack dot Com studios as
Alabama pours it on continually walking into halftime, Jalen Milroe,
I'll go ahead and say it right now. Top four
finisher for the Heisman. Oh that's easy. Three hundred and
fifty five yards at the half, nine point one yards

(01:04:22):
per play, So my four sixty four to seventy ian's
looking pretty good for them. Alabama yards man, about five hundred.
I feel about five hundred for them, don't. I don't
see George's stopping them Georgia. I had a good drive
and went down and scored. But it's not one drive, man,
it's the totality. Nick Saban was up in the press box,
up in the VIP box. Now he's down doing this

(01:04:43):
halftime thing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
I hope he only does this for like a year,
So just go retire, bro, just go you know, just
go away.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Nig or don't. I'm fine with it. I like hearing
what the greatest college football coach of all time has
to say about it. But let's dive into the NFL
right here though, because we do have an NFC matchup,
the REMA from a playoff matchup which feels like it
was over. You want to talk about a game nose
over before it started. Eagles Buccaneers last year was over

(01:05:09):
before it started. You talk about the George Alabama game.
Philadelphia was not there, was absent, was just not not.
So we're seeing here that a lot going into that game,
they weren't prepared. I mean what they started out ten
and one, going what some seven six seven game losing streak,
and now this year off to a two on one start.
But it doesn't. Does it feel any different to you?

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
Much different? Much different? They were dominating this year. Jaalen
Jalen Hurts is leading the league and quarterbacks as far
as turnovers is concerned.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Right now, I am you're saying it feels different on
the bad side of things, absolutely, okay, was absolutely Philly
was rolling the first.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
Eleven weeks last year, nobody was beating. Do you remember
that rainy game Buffalo Buffalo was I mean playing them,
I mean playing a Buffalo should have won the game,
but Hurts made all the right all the right reads,
all the right keeps, all the right games, all the
right throws, and then had the game win a run
and overtime to win the game.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
I mean, they were rolling. But then he gets banged up.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Then you got Aj going through some stuff, and now
you got Aj starting the season this year already hurt
not playing it just it feels different in a bad way.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
It doesn't feel that.

Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
I know, dude, Records is two and one, but that
Atlanta game, I just can't get out of my head.
I can't get that Atlanta game out of my head.
And then the Saints game. The Saints gave that away.
The Saints gave that game away. They could easily be
one and two. Right now, I'm concerned.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Let's get into that Saints game and some of the
fallout from that, right okay, because you remember, you remember
this summer in August when the Exposa came out talking
about Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts and how their relationship
was so fractured. Right, all right, it was ten and
one and everybody was walking around with their dog died.
The article says they hired Kellen Moore, the new offensive coach,

(01:06:53):
to quote bridge the gap between Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni. Right,
it's weird, right, but that it's weird, but let's just
take it that face value, right, to bridge the gap.
That was the goal, because it was shown throughout the
root of the divide was that there was a lack
of respect for Shirianni's ex'es and O's hurts and Brian Johnson,

(01:07:15):
the offensive cordator from last year, wanted to expand the
offense and do more, which I think you could read
it one of two ways. Jalen wants to throw more
or they want to evolve the offense. Nick Sirianni says, no,
I want to do it this way, which you can
read as I don't want Jalen to throw as much,
or this offense has gotten me this far. This is

(01:07:35):
the way I want to keep it right instead of
trying to innovate either way, disconnect new first year offensive
cordator Brian Johnson demoted throughout the year. Remember yep, okay,
they hired Kellen Moore to bridge the gap. Now, this
is what he said on Wednesday at his Wednesday press
conference about that play call, that fake touss push against

(01:07:57):
the Saints. This is a bad call, Sirihanni had to
say about that call.

Speaker 7 (01:08:02):
I'm letting Kellen drive the car and and just like
my wife will say, you know to me, hey, make
sure you take it right here, left here, and she's
giving me directions, I'm an you know the same thing
in these scenarios.

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
It's just chiming in when I have something to chime in.

Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
Now, let me ask you this. You're you're older than me,
so by default have been in more relationships than I have.
But when you are in the car with your significant
other and she's telling you turn left, turn right, stop,
go green light? Hey, slow down, don't you feel in control?
Don't you feel in charge? Doesn't that make you feel
good as a person? Like doesn't that make you feel

(01:08:37):
like you're bridging a gap? Like you know what I'm saying.
You've got you hired, I got to bridge the gap.
And now three games in with a winning record, you're
already overruling and interjecting yourself into the scenario. What possibly
could go wrong here?

Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
First of all, when I'm driving with anybody, just shut
up and ride. I don't like saz seat drivers, and
I definitely like backseat drivers. You're in a back seat
for a reason. You weren't even good, you were even
quick enough to call shotgun. So you suck all the
way around. You sit back there and shut up. You
can't turn the radio for me, you can't get nothing,
you can't you can't do nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
Just sit back there, ride. So I'm that guy.

Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
So now to spin it in a football sense, if
you have given me, oh god, this is great.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Oh this is awesome. I was just talking to Brian
Filly about this.

Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
If you've given me responsibility and a title to do something,
then let me do it. If I'm the offensive coordinator,
if I'm the quarterbacks coach, if I'm the d line coach,
if I'm the defensive coordinator, then let me do my
damn job. Okay, if I'm screwing it up, then you
can chime in.

Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
But you hired me to do a job. Let me
do my job. Period.

Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
It would be different if Kellen Moore was going to
him and asking for advice, because then he can look
at him and go, Dude, you're the offensive coordinator, coordinate
the damn offense.

Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
Like we trust you. That's why we hired you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:59):
We interview a bunch of people, and we hired you
because we thought you were the best for the job,
not the best guy that can come to us when
you need a little help. That's the problem that I
have with this is he's the offensive coordinator, so let
him do him. I'm starting, Martin. I hate to admit this, brother,
I hate to admit this. I'm starting to lean over

(01:10:20):
to your nick Sirianni side. I really am, because my
quote was always got I don't know why I don't
dislike him as much as everybody else does.

Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
And then people start to give me a list of
things and why they don't like the guy, and I'm like, okay,
this is unfounded, as.

Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
Here's five ring why I don't like that, And I'm
starting to cuse this right here.

Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
This is disruptive.

Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
This is if he was brought in this whole bit
bridge the gap thing there. Listen, if the coach and
the quarterback just aren't buddies, guys, they're not gonna be buddies.
Guess who's not hanging out right now, and that they're
both retired, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. I guarantee you
they've not met up for beer and wings yet. I
guarantee you.

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Not even that, because I can see I can see
them winking, because they did look at the at the
roast for Tom Brady. But I'm not saying that. I'm
not saying your point is wrong. I'm saying that. But
I'll tell you this. The other five hundred people that
were there, Mick Sirianni has been Jaalen Hurts as head coach.
The entirety of the jailing Hurts has been in the
end exactly. It's for five years now, Like what relationship
do you have in your life that started out rocky

(01:11:20):
and five years later it was better. It's so markedly
better that it's like no good, no, Like yeah, you
may you may have said, you know, I don't need
to fight this guy anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
Yeah, exactly right, true, like true after having that, No,
I know, within a month of knowing you, whether I'm
gonna like you or now we're gonna be friends, or
we just gonna show up and work together or We're
just gonna show up here and do this together.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
We're just gonna be in the same company. When I
go to a comedy club, I know I'm gonna bump
into you. But I knew. I knew three months ago.
I wasn't gonna like you. Bro.

Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
I don't like you, And you don't have to guess what.
Here's the cool thing. You don't have to like me.
But stay on your side, and I'll stay on my side.
Keep my name out your mouth. I'll keep my name
out your mouth. And let's bill ourselves didn't get along
with TiO. You guys, remember, I know Steve remembers this.
You remember when Bill Parcells is calling t O the player?
You guys, remember he wouldn't even say the man's name.

(01:12:10):
He was calling him the player. And then there's that
clip on that one Monday night where Teo has his
head out. They were about to win the game, they're
closing the gawn and Parcels grabs the bill of his
cap and kind of just shakes his head and it's like, oh, okay,
they had a moment. But do you think that made
Bill Parcells and Tarol Loan's friends. No, Like you can

(01:12:31):
have moments because it's football, right you scored touchdown. Coaches
and players should chest bumping, tap each other, hug each other.
I still don't feel you, though, Broh, I don't like you.
But right now we're doing something bigger than us, and
that's trying to go win damn football games, which is
the hardest thing, in my opinion, and all the sports
to do is to win one NFL game because you
get one chance a week to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
You don't get to go two or three times a week. Listen,
this is from the ESPN article that was from August
about the whole Siriani Jalen Hurts divide. Now fast forward
to September twenty eighth, which is today, goes quote. Last
year it was Nick was going to do what Nick
was going to do. It looks like he's trying to
change that. But we are left in two months. We

(01:13:16):
are left in two months, and folks who you are,
buckle up and for a ride. Coming up next, Producer
Ian joins the show We will die a game of
who you got Buffalo Bills Baltimore better conditioned it better,
It's gonna be fuego. I better be good. Coming to
your live at the Tireck dot Com Studios. I'm Martin Wise,
joined here with VJ. Husky, coming to you on a

(01:13:38):
Fox Sports Football Friday. If you want to join the
Converse Saturday, what day is it? Who knows? If you
want to join the PAS station, you're gonna hit us
up better. I'm at Martin Wise. Vj's at Big Vanilla Funny.
I tell you, man, I've been all mixed up, don't
know what to do. Uh, it's been it's been rough.
I said the same thing on Wednesday. I thought it
was Monday exactly. Maybe to relaxed. That's what he got.

(01:14:02):
It's not rocketside. We just want to know, just answer
the questions. Who you got? All right?

Speaker 5 (01:14:11):
Who you got? We skipped it last week with Arnie
and for Martin. Welcome back, Martin, by the way, glad
to have you back.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:14:18):
This week's Who You Got Edition is going to be
Bill's Ravens Edition. Remember we've been doing it based off
one game. So the player or person related to either
team I have in mind is going to have something
to do with the Bills or the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Let's go hand you your ass right now, let's go.

Speaker 5 (01:14:34):
Well, the hope is that each question helps narrow it
down a little bit more, and then that leads you
guys into a discussion about the game.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
So let's let's get start ahead.

Speaker 5 (01:14:44):
This guy played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Marlon Humphrey incorrect, good guest, though, he did play for
the Crimson Tide.

Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
Yeah he did. It was all America, all right, Bama.
Oh that's just one clue. Yeah, that's just one clue. Bills.
We also don't have to guess.

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
Just an opportunities whatever Jackson lamar No Jackson the safety right,
the safety any from Bama?

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Also to Reem Jackson, Yeah, I don't think he's playing
in this no now, not him. But he plays for
the Rings though though mean all right, yeah, I thought
you're a trade there are right? Anyway, I'm plays for
the Bills.

Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
This guy was a first round pick, drafted twenty third
overall in the NFL Draft.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
Twenty third pick, first round, Bama twenty third pick. See
now now now.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
It feels like now it feels like uh now, it
feels like a lineman twenty third pick because their skilled
guys go early. Is none of their receivers, It's not
the tight ends and Coleman and all those guys.

Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
It's not Andrews Marcel Darius Nope, it's probably since retired
from the NFL. It's not a.

Speaker 5 (01:15:58):
Back already better than last time. You guys got Todd
Gurley off the bat last time. So Dereck Henry, No,
another good guess, another another Crimson Tide player. All right,
this guy was a three time pro. Or he is
a three time pro bowler, and he is a multi
time All Pro.

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Three time Pro bowler, multi time All Pro, twenty third pick.
You go to school? He go to Alabama, justin Medabuke.
All right, dom d Matabuke. Now, if I mean look,
if you're looking up, then the answer is probably not.
Oh man, it still just feels like a lineman of me,
an old lineman or a d lineman. Uh, what's that

(01:16:42):
linebacker's name? I'm trying to think of one of these
backers for plays for Yeah, plased for the Ravens, Patrick Queen, Queen. No,
he's on the Steelers. Now, okay, Saturday, ain't him. We'll
go next. Clue. There was another backer? Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:16:56):
At one time he was fourth in career catches among
receivers in NFL.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
History, fourth among Steve Smith. No, he's not there now
though I know. That's why I thought it was an
active player the roster.

Speaker 5 (01:17:13):
But he's the current leader in Cleveland Brown's history and
receptions and receiving yards.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
What hold on? Hold on?

Speaker 3 (01:17:25):
That's so May Cooper, but I can't but mark Mark
Cooper with Debama. But he's got no ties to the Bills,
He's got no ties to the to the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame
in nineteen ninety four and the Pro Football Hall of
Fame in nineteen ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
So that's part of the problem. We're thinking of people. Okay,
all right, that's the problem. Uh CLEARIL.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
Correct, Yeah, there we Gozzi, Okay, that's what messed us up.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
I'm thinking current player all all times.

Speaker 5 (01:18:03):
The last few clues would have been he made history
becoming the first black GM in NFL history.

Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
He drafted three Hall.

Speaker 5 (01:18:10):
Of famers as GM for the Ravens, and he's nicknamed
the Wizard.

Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Of Oz and let's be honest, probably drafted four. If
Lamar Jackson goes at least makes the Super Bowl, he's
walking into the Hall. That was his last official first row.
Who you got Now, that was a good one. Man
that I get out of three way time. I think
we all kind that was. That was a great clues.
You go, ras Bills. What do you think Bill's been

(01:18:35):
a wagon recently?

Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
Oh man, tonail away from beating the Chiefs, and I
think I think I think they're back.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
I think they're back. On try l Jacks. He starts
to get going here.

Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
Why watch over like the next five to six weeks,
watch Lamar and Flowers.

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
Watch that. Watch that tandem start to I warned you, I.

Speaker 3 (01:18:51):
Told you, I told this guy last year. Watch that
tandem start to warm up.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
I tell you what, though, the concept if Josh Allen's
just going to continue to not turn the ball over,
that's terrible. Fine, that's terrifying for everybody else. I hate that.
I had absolutely for everyone in the NFL. If Josh
Allen is gonna continue to be the most accurate quarterback,
Atomic dogs picks coming up next.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
That's right, and we're broadcasting live from the tire rack
dot com studios tire rack dot Com. We'll help you
get there with an unmaxed s election fast free shipping
Freuid has a protection and over ten thousand recommended to
inst dollars tire rack dot com. It's where that tire
buying should be without further Reduler's go ahead and get
to it. Now, it's time for the atomic doll.

Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
They may be me, they may be ugly, but it's
time to open the case because these dogs are gonna
keep barking if they don't get fat and they're hungry.

Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
It's time for the atomic dogs.

Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
That's VJ. You know we do this every week ten o'clock.
And I heard Arnie Spaniard field inadvirably for me. But
do don't you go ahead and go ahead with your
first atomic doll?

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
My first atomic dog? Man is I'm gonna go in
a game we've already spoken about. Man Now, I know
Green Bay is looking good at home, and.

Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
My man, Malik the freaking and less has done what
he's supposed to do. Was a backup supposed to when
you come in and you just don't lose games.

Speaker 3 (01:20:24):
He hasn't done that. But this Minnesota team's got a
lot of weapons. I love the weapons that they have
a kind of starting to maybe like with the quarterback.
It's doing not like him, but just like what he's
doing here. Three point underdogs on the row. A divisional
conference game is always gonna be tough, and I just
think we have the better players of the skill position.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
You have the better chance to win. Give me the Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
Bike is to go in the lambow and pull off
and upset over the Green Bay Packers. Even if Love
is back, he's rusty because he hadn't played. That plays
a part in it. Very very close football game. Fikes
going there for my first dog.

Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
My first dog will be it's just kind of lazy.
I don't care, but you know what, I'm picking it
just like my wife would pick it. Turn left, hair,
turn right there. Give me the Tampa Bay Buccaneers off
he took at one point spread. You know what, underdogs, underdogs, underdog,
And I don't know how the Eagles are favored against

(01:21:22):
anybody who the Buckets won a playoff game last year.
Stop it. Yeah, all right, I'm out of that one.

Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
My next one is going to be a team that
had a quarterback that yeah, they had to sit them down.

Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
And I get it. You don't want to put the
weapons around the kid and then blame the kid. I
get all of that too, Andy.

Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Dogg came in and played well, and guess who he
plays this weekend. He gets his old team a revenge game.
They come in there. And the reason why I'm going
with the Carolina Panthers at a five point under at
home against Cincinnati four multiple reasons too.

Speaker 2 (01:21:51):
I need Joe Burrow to lose again so we can
start the real conversation that we're not having about Joe
Burrow that we have about the other certain quarterbacks. Whach
sucks when they're not winning. But then and also too,
I hope Andy Dog plays out of his mind. So
the Panthers can trade Bryce Young to the Miami Dolphins,
and that's plan b if Oos decide to retire, bring
him in there, put him in that system down there,

(01:22:12):
and now I got my dog with my Dolphins. Probably
won't happen, but that's what I want to see, So
give me the Panthers to pull this off. It calls
all types a rambunction in the NFL for my second dog.
I'm glad the NFL put this game at one o'clock
because it deserves I've never heard more one o'clock than
the Pittsburgh Steelers in Indianapolis Colts right now one o'clock.

(01:22:35):
I'm surprised they didn't try to put it as an
auxiliary Monday night game. Now, give me the Indianapolis Colts
plus two Tomlin as a short road favorite. That is
the danger zone. Now, if you tell me he's a
short road dog, I'd be all over it. But he's not.
Anthony Richardson is either the worst both athletic quarterback we've
ever seen in the NFL history, or he will play
better than he has in the first three weeks of

(01:22:56):
the season tomorrow. And I just seems way too much
justin fields to pick him to win four games in
a row. Give me Danapoles Colts outright, Nah, you're gonna
miss on that one, all right? My third one, it's
kind of a toss up. I like the Raiders, but
I'm also like in the Saints too, And I know
Martin hates to hear that. But they're playing at Atlanta,
another division game. What is Atlanta?

Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
If the Eagles don't spit up on themselves and wet
their pants, Atlanta's OZ and three, and they may be
looking to make a change at the quarterback position. That
talk starts to get a little louder after tomorrow. Give
me the Saints with that revamp defense and also too
quick sidebar a lot of legal issues last year, a
lot of injuries. We forgot how bad of a man
Alvin Kamara is. He's one hundred percent healthy. He's still

(01:23:42):
got young ladies and the young football body he has
been bawled out. Philly's defense is a lot better than
it was last year. Guys that those guys up front,
that front seven is dominant and that's what held him
in check. Atlanta won't do that to him. Divisional game.
Get me card Kamara to make enough plays tomorrow to
override this three point plus that they are underdogs in
Atlanta and the Mercedes Ben No for my last dog.

Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
There will be one. There'll be one game that's like that.
You say, like we need to have this conversation that
you said you want to have about Joe Burrow gonna.
We'll get to it eventually, I'm sure, if not. Throughout
these picks, if not, I'll remind you brought me to
tell you. But better quarterback, better coach, underdog. I'm taking
the Los Angeles Rams against the Chicago plus three. What

(01:24:26):
are we doing here? The round know the Rams got
pounded by the Cardinals. That's all right, Chicago has yet
to figure out offense. If you have to figure out offense.
Until they do, I'll continue to bet against them, all right, Alex,
let's transition now. I love this song. This is juicy,
This is juice in music right here? Baby?

Speaker 5 (01:24:47):
Do you guys know that viral TikTok or video or
something of the the it's the guy who played ham
In in uh in the Sandlot. It's him and his bat.
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, NFL see that every so yeah,
that is dope.

Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
Yeah yeah yeah, and that's pretty cool to see that
guy too from the sand Lot. Yeah yeah. All right, picks,
let's go picks.

Speaker 5 (01:25:08):
We're gonna start off with the Denver Broncos versus the
New York Jets.

Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
All right, So Broncos are the away team.

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
They're going to MetLife, and the Jets are favored by
eight points.

Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
Martin will start with you who you I'm taking the Broncos.
I know that their offense has been pretty remedial, But
who are the Jets to be laying eight points in
an NFL game against anybody? I'm sorry, like I've seen
them play if you like, we saw also all through
those games. Tennessee should have beat them. They should Tennessee
should maybe the worst team in football. They should have
beat them, but would have, could have, should have. I

(01:25:40):
hate to do this, man, but the Broncos are just
not good. That's the only reason why I gotta go
with the bum ass Jets here.

Speaker 3 (01:25:47):
I'm not sure if they cover. Do I have to
pick them to cover or we just picking them win?

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
No cover? Yeah, you know what? All right? You know
bleep it. I'll take them.

Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
I'll take the bum ass Jets to cover Denver. I
think they will play close early, but I think at home,
Aaron Rodgers making a few throws, running game going that
that bum ass just defense is still really really good,
especially in that front seven, that defensive line there. I
think this game gets a little out of handling. I
can see the Jets winning this game by two touchdown.
Give me a just to cover the game.

Speaker 2 (01:26:16):
All right.

Speaker 5 (01:26:16):
Next up, the Jacksonville Jaguars are traveling to traveling to
Houston to face the Texans. Texans are favored by five
and a half points.

Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
J will start with you, Yeah, I'll take this one first, man,
give me the Jaguars that cover, but they don't win
this game they will cover.

Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
The five and a half is the visional game. It'll
be close.

Speaker 3 (01:26:36):
But I'm starting to put out the warning on the
Jacksonville Jaguars. I might have missed on them again this
year as I did last year. This is becoming alarming, guys.
They have lost. I believe the number is something like
nine of their last eleven games, if I'm not mistaking
the numbers in that area. But this is not looking good.
This is a pullover from last year. Houston makes enough
plays in the divisional game tomorrow. I think it's a

(01:26:58):
close game, but I do think they pull it out
at the end, get me Jags the cover, but they
just don't win the game.

Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Jaguars cover, threatened to win. And the conversation on Monday
is what's wrong with CJ. Stroud, not what's wrong with
thrill Borough.

Speaker 5 (01:27:12):
All right, Next up, this one's interesting. We got the
New England Patriots, widely considered one of the worst teams
in the league.

Speaker 2 (01:27:17):
Is it interesting?

Speaker 5 (01:27:18):
They're well, they're going up against the Niners. The Niners
are favored by ten points here, and the Niners are
coming off two losses.

Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
So what do we think? Guys? Oh, your guys, don't
watch this game. In fact, if you find yourself watching
this game, looks your significant other told you to do something,
think about what it is, Go do that instead of
watching this. But the Patriots covered the ten because forty
nine ers are just the injury reports longer than the

(01:27:45):
CVS re seat.

Speaker 3 (01:27:46):
Yeah yeah, let me see if you have season long.
But always remember that thirty percent coupon. Make sure you
find that one and clip that one out, because they
put me onto that the little girl behind the register.

Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
I'm with Martin, man, I'm not even watching this game.
I tell you it is.

Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
So if your wife told you to go do something,
go do it and then say, hey, honey, look I
stopped watching football to go do what you asked me
to do. Aren't yourself some extra brownie points there? Give
me the Patriots that covered this man. I think the
defense is stronger. The defense does show up, no kiddle,
no uh. I think debo's debo al tomorrow. I haven't
seen the Report's doubtful.

Speaker 2 (01:28:18):
So doubtful. So then dualtfoil on a Saturday night.

Speaker 3 (01:28:20):
That means it is alt tomorrow and no Christian McCaffrey,
and questions are how long is Christian going to be
out now, not just the four weeks in the IR.
I think the Patriots keep it so Patricks keep it close.
They just don't have a quarterback. That's the problem. Verssett
is just horrible start. Drake May started, now they covered.
They just don't win the game. Niners pull it off
at home.

Speaker 2 (01:28:38):
All right.

Speaker 5 (01:28:38):
You guys were talking about him earlier. But Jaden Daniels
and the Commanders they are going to Arizona to face
Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Cardinals are favored by
three and a half. What do you guys think?

Speaker 3 (01:28:49):
I'm pulling this one out for the DV for my
home area because all my Commander friends that.

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Hit me up all week long. Hey V, what do
you think about the Commanders AOV? What do you think
about Watson?

Speaker 3 (01:28:59):
I'm saying I'm old friends post the pitches on Facebook
and social media wearing their command this gear after win tombow,
it feels it fits better after a dub. I think
Jayden Daniels is the guy man. I love this kid.
I love the two coaches there as far as Clinton
Kingsbury and and Dan Quinn as the defensive coordinator there.
I think they going to roll there. I think this

(01:29:19):
is an exciting game, these two quarterbacks. Kind of a shootout,
but I think Washington makes the plays down the end
and they pull the upset on this one. Give me
Washington to outright win this game, not just cover. They
win it, Arizona tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:29:32):
I was gonna suggest you offer this one up because
I believe that Vija I have agreed on every single
one of them, and I knew we were gonna have
separate sizes. Here, give me meet meet Kyler Murray and
Arizona Cardinals going and Cliff and Cliff Kingsbury sits there
and says, did you go meet me? Cliff Kingsbury sits
there and says, I remember when I had him. That

(01:29:53):
was nice. Arizona Cardinals. They'll cover this all right.

Speaker 5 (01:29:57):
Last one here, maybe the game of the week. We
have the AFO Bills going against the Baltimore Ye. Baltimore
is actually favored by two and a half points despite
being one and two versus the Bills undefeated three and.

Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
Oh, but what do you guys think? Don't look up
Carson Beck to try to throw another intercest point and
Alabama's pulled the They've to pull the Reins off, which
I don't like. Give me El Jackson, man. I feel
something is brewing.

Speaker 3 (01:30:23):
They're a tow way from beating the Chiefs, and then
I think they kind of had a hangover ten days
later against the Raiders at home, but then going to
Dallas and obliterating, smack them all around. I just think
that now they're coming back home, you're getting the bills.
I think though, I think Josh Allen comes to Earth
a little bit. I say two turnovers in his game
because he hasn't been turning the ball over. You know,

(01:30:45):
Josh Apple turnover. Allen is coming like you know he's coming.
He's gonna show up at some point. I think it
starts with this hardball led Ravens defense. Tomorrow. Give me
the Ravens to win this game. They cover the whole nine.

Speaker 2 (01:30:57):
Lamar's fourteen to seven against the spread in his last
what is that primetime games six and one against spreading
his last seven primetime game. And Tron Johnson, who's on
the list of top five nickelbacks in this league and
he's not number five, he's out, Matt Malano's out. I
think Buffalo two we're riding a little high on the

(01:31:19):
Bills after that forty seven to ten win over the Jaguars.
That's more about how bad the Jaguars are. But you see,
I'm taking them too, so God knows to buckle up, America.
It's gonna be a rough one.

Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
Yeah, it's gonna be an interesting weekend. It's gonna be
an interesting day tomorrow. We get some separation.

Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
That Steelers game two to me is just still the
Steelers could go to I got him going to four
to o.

Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
And who, like, honestly, raise your hand if who had
that three months ago, four months ago, we're sitting here
saying that there's no way Justin Fields can go here
and do anything. You gotta play Russell Russell Wilson will
not play a snap for the Steelers this Year's that
said over the summertime, and they should just cut it.

Speaker 2 (01:31:53):
I know he's there. He's very cheap for backup. I
get it. But this is if you.

Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
Just keep Justin phil in now and listen, he's not
get it, but he's not losing and throwing the games
away when they need him to make a play the
third down, that third and long run last week, when
you need him to make a play, he's making those
plays and he let TJ.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Watt and the rest of that defense take over. Carson
Beck is losing millions of dollars. No, he ain't minute
by Minno, we'll get We'll have the latest on the
Georgia Alabama game and coming up next. This is a
new frightening trend in football. Are you scared? To Martin
and VJ Fox Sports Radio, don't look now, But Alabama

(01:32:34):
needs to go ahead and and punch one in here
because Georgia has regained a ton of the momentum. Now
thirty to fifteen Georgia. Carson Becks still not, I mean,
incredibly erradic throughout this matchup. But but yeah, Alabama right now.

Speaker 3 (01:32:51):
Yeah they need a score as they're going deep here
and uh oh.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
All right, well never mind, Ryan Williams, you are here, kid.
That's a seventeen year old kid from Alabama that he
is so first special ball, he tips it to himself,
catches it, and then oh, you know, I'll just take
fifteen yard after to catch no problem on a forty
yard game. We try to say, Alabama's looking shaking another score.

Speaker 3 (01:33:15):
Update two on the team in again and we talked
about in the preseason going through all our teams, all
our picks and things like that. Florida stayed at SMU
tonight twenty eighth to three. Right now, like it's it's
bad in Tallahassee. I don't think it's fired the coach bad,
but boy, did you miss on your portal quarterback and
just just some of the guys if it just really
feels like after they didn't get in last year, they

(01:33:37):
just mailed it in and it's carried over into this year.
And as we're talking about this Georgia game, right Georgia Alabama,
you know, go ahead, you know, Alabama make up play.
And as we're saying that, Martin not saying that, they
throw a bomb and the corners there, but the receiver
tips it and tips it up again, and tips it
up a third time and then comes down with it
for a big game. So looks like there's they're at
least set up for a field goal if possible, to

(01:33:58):
get to thirty three points. But thirty to fifteen right now,
so two possessions technically Alabama needs needs to score, but
plenty of time too, Martin, what three and some change here?

Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
Man, It's a lot of football, It's a lot of
football left, a lot of football played eleven, a lot
of football left to be played in the season, unless
you are Bear Alexander or Matthew Sluca decided that they
were going to go ahead and throw on that red
shirt for the remainder. Do you think this is something
that will continue to see more of the Sluka thing
than the Bear Alexander thing, because I think we've seen

(01:34:29):
guys who are not getting playing time transfer that's not new.
But the Sluka thing they were with four three and
zero and apparently had a handshake deal for one hundred
thousand dollars. It was on the Odd Couple yesterday with
kelvin Washington and for Robie had Sean king On who
says that he knew everybody involved in UNLV's program and

(01:34:49):
that kid never had a handshake deal. That's Shawn's words,
not mine. I'm not nearly close enough to try to
report on it, but it is a definite. He they said,
they said, the situation, he said, she said, they said,
very interesting situation. I'm gonna be honest with you, man,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:35:07):
Really know who to believe because right he got one
sized saying it's one size saying that. I don't have
any ends to it. But the only question I asked
is why would this kid say that?

Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
Then? Well, he would just make it up. He was
just you know why he would just make it up.

Speaker 3 (01:35:21):
It kind of reminds me when Cam Newton Dad was like, yeah,
Mississippi State Care taught, they offered us two fifty k oh,
No he did it? Then why would he just pick
y'all out of the hat and just say you did?

Speaker 2 (01:35:33):
Then?

Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
Like, honestly, why would he just do that and pick
your school?

Speaker 7 (01:35:37):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:35:37):
You did? He's just saying it now. No. I believe
maybe there was some type of handshake deal.

Speaker 3 (01:35:42):
They just didn't think he would have come back and
say it, or things were gonna work out differently. I
always believe where there's smoke, there's fire as far as
the USC kid goes. The whole playing time theme, to me, yes,
this is a trend that you're gonna seek it to you,
especially with especially with nil transfer portal stuff. To me, Martin,

(01:36:03):
that whole thing started with competition, rimons man, everybody getting
the trophy. Because now everyone expects to have everything kind
of handed to them in sports, especially when you're talking
about on the collegiate level, and in high school.

Speaker 2 (01:36:14):
Even in high school.

Speaker 3 (01:36:16):
Coach of the charter school, bro, like, do you know
how many times they're like, oh, yeah, that kid played
something last year, and then that kid.

Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
Like whoa, whoa hold up? Why do you leave there?
I wouldn't get playing time?

Speaker 3 (01:36:24):
Oh really, freshmen can just leave high school and transfer
to another school and be a sophomore or us because
you're a freshman, dude, how much playing time did you
think you were gonna get or how much playing time
did they tell you you were gonna get to get
you over there? There's a lot and extent all this stuff, Martin.
So yes, I do believe it's going to continue. Doesn't
bother me as much as it bothers everybody else. It

(01:36:44):
just kind of is what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:36:45):
Man. Yeah, I don't care what guy's transferring because they're
not playing. You gotta get taped. You only have a
limited window to be an athlete. So I don't really
have too big of an issue with that. I would
just say, make your decisions wisely, and the grass is
always greener. But when it comes to the money thing,
they're gonna nail this down, Like like when it comes
there will be no more handshake deals because it will

(01:37:06):
all be above board. The problem is now, and I
was trying to think of a it's an imperfect analogy,
but right now college the way that college football players
get paid, it's not for playing college football. It would
be like it would be like if you had drug
dealers standing on the corners, but instead of getting paid
for the drugs they're selling, they're getting paid to stand

(01:37:28):
on the corner. That only incentivizes them to stand there.
It doesn't incentivize them to do anything. But like all
the money, all the way the nil does now, it
just incentivizes you to commit to the school. It doesn't
incentivize you to stay. It doesn't incentivize you to there's
no playing time, boost there's no nothing. Soon there will

(01:37:49):
be things like I mean, it's just like everything else
in America. It will be tied into how well you
do at it and how well you can negotiate your
your ins and outs. But there will be a contract
where there will be no under the table things like that,
because it'll be too much like nobody's paying Gardner Minshew
under the table to stay a raider. Do you know
what I'm saying? Because the contract is too great, and

(01:38:12):
there's already a centivized You know what I'm saying is
all that's the program is incentivized to not allowed to happen.

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
Could you imagine if somebody was paying Deshaun Watson under
the table to be a Cleveland Brown, Right, it's just ridiculous.
It's ridiculous. Now that's not happening. Or if somebody I'll
pay you because you're the quarterback like XBN like, it's
just it's just an absurd kind of premise. So I
think eventually we will square that circle and we will
not have these stories of guys leaving like this. But

(01:38:38):
I will say this. Let's say, for example, that I
don't think it all goes away for Martin. There's always
gonna be somebody Martin. There's always gonna be somebody Martin.
There's always gonna be somebody wanting to pay to the table. Martin.
It's never going away. It's good where there there's no
I just watched Pony Excess the other night for like
the thirtieth time, if you guys ever say thirty thirty.
The reason why Pony Express was able to exist that

(01:38:59):
would is the story of SMU football because there was
an under there was a artificially suppressed market. There will
be no like as as soon as he stops being
about ni yelling about the play on the field, there
will be no artificially suppressed market. Or it'll be salary
captain the way that the NFL salary capp if that's
the artificial suppression, but it's not. We're benefiting off of

(01:39:22):
not paying the labor. Like that's why they were able
to do that is because because because five hundred dollars
is a lot more than zero. But if you're if
you're in this scenario where you're you got you know,
there's nobody even Nick Benito was a late round pick
for the Denver Broncos a couple of years ago. He's
not on his second deal. There's nobody giving him thousands

(01:39:42):
of dollars. There's nobody offering him the amount of money
that would change his financial status to do something that's
you know, would would question the game.

Speaker 3 (01:39:52):
I just that's that's he's talking to NFL though, right,
and then in college.

Speaker 2 (01:39:57):
There's always because they never they're never gonna get this right.

Speaker 3 (01:40:00):
It's just what we have right now, guys, Like it's
like the bcs are the polls in the playoff and
now in fourteen playoff and now twelve to two.

Speaker 2 (01:40:07):
It's never gonna be perfect. There's always gonna be adjustments,
and when there's adjustments, there's always gonna be people trying
to beat and break the adjustments under the table. Just
because you get a kid at nil deal, how do
we know so many other kids don't have other handshake
deals under the table. They're not just gonna say yeah
to the two.

Speaker 3 (01:40:22):
Hundred and fifty thousand dollars nil deal when there's another
CEO and alumni coming around with another twenty five grand
in the pocket for you to just come with what
do this commercial? Come show your face at this event
for me and so I can get more business from
It's that that should be that's illegal under the NC
double A.

Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
You can't do that.

Speaker 3 (01:40:39):
It's always to me just gonna be something. This is
just the system in place we have right now.

Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
That's yeah, But they'll get it fixed that it'll end
up eventually there's too much money. I'll find out there's
too much money at stake for it to be not
above board when it all said and done. But first,
let's go ahead now and kick it over to Steve
the Seger for everything trend in the world of sports.
You're up.

Speaker 6 (01:41:02):
You guys just mentioned the college football playoff. I am
guessing this year that Florida State is not going to
be complaining about just missing the college football play.

Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
Yeah, I think that. Take that to Vegas thief right.
They put all the plates in the suggestion box. Already.

Speaker 6 (01:41:16):
Florida State could be one and four after tonight. They
are losing at SMU right now, twenty eight to nine.
In the third quarter. Top five matchup at Alabama, the
Tide have dominated Number two Georgia. Bama just kicked a
field goal, so final seconds of the third quarter, it's
thirty three fifteen. Alabama scored touchdowns on its first four drives,

(01:41:37):
led twenty eight nothing in the second quarter. For Georgia
to allow twenty eight points in a conference game regular
season hadn't happened in four years. This was down twenty
eight nothing in the first half at Alabama tonight. Seventeenth
rank Clemson at home now leads Stanford forty to fourteen
with two and a half minutes left. Three and a
half minutes left in the game. Number three Ohio State.

(01:41:59):
I had thirty eight seven at Michigan State. Three minutes
to go. Penn State with the ball and the lead,
fourteen to seven over Illinois and a number fourteen LSU.
It's the Tigers forty two to ten over South Alabama
early in the fourth. The late game on FS one
has started. In the opening minutes, it's Washington State tied
at number twenty five Boise State seven to seven. Already

(01:42:21):
the possible NFL first round running back that Boise State has,
Ashton Genty on five carries, has seventy seven yards and
a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:42:28):
The best back in America, Steve he Is sensational.

Speaker 6 (01:42:31):
Arizona scoreless early at number ten Utah and starting up
in a half an hour on Fox TV. Number eight
Oregon at UCLA. Among the other games in progress, Texas
Tech has taken the lead at home late third quarter
against Cincinnati thirty one to twenty seven. Earlier today we
had number one Texas win thirty five thirteen over Mississippi State.

(01:42:52):
Texas defense had six sacks in that one. Kentucky a
winner at number six Old miss twenty to seventeen on
a touchdown with about two and a half minutes to go.
Twelfth ranked Michigan led Minnesota twenty four to three to
start the fourth quarter Wolverine's twenty seven twenty four the
final score. Thirteenth ranked USC at home against Wisconsin trailed

(01:43:12):
the Badgers at halftime twenty one ten SC wins at
thirty eight twenty one Top twenty matchup at Notre Dame,
the Irish over at Louisville thirty one twenty four Tonight
on FS one, Eighteenth ranked Iowa State only led three
to nothing at Houston late in the third quarter, twenty
to nothing Iowa State the final Houston Cougar's one and four.

(01:43:34):
Kansas State came back to beat Oklahoma State forty two
to twenty. Oklahoma needed a comeback to win at Auburn
twenty seven to twenty one BYU hold John thirty four
to twenty eight. At Baylor and in Arlington, Texas, it
was Texas A and M beating Arkansas twenty one to seventeen.
Duke came back to beat North Carolina twenty one twenty
after trailing twenty to nothing at the half. An update

(01:43:57):
on shoe Hey Otania the Dodgers this seas, with his
regular season ending tomorrow, He's at fifty four homers fifty
eight steals. He has a steal tonight it looked like
he had a second, but later the official score made
a change in the ruling, ruling to play a back
and taking away a solo base from Otani in the
fifth inning. Dodgers are leading nine to two at Colorado

(01:44:20):
in this one in the top of the eighth. The
game that really matters is at Arizona going to the
bottom of the night. The Padres have just scored five
in the top of the ninth for the lead on
three homers. It's five nothing against the Diamondbacks, who have
just one hit. And the Mets got shut out tonight
six to nothing at Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Braves, on
a solo homer bottom of the ninth, beat Kansas City

(01:44:40):
two to one. The Braves have won five in a row.
They'll be hosting a makeup doubleheader against the Mets on
Monday to end the regular season. It's looking good for
Atlanta into the postseason. What about the Mets in Arizona
to be decided back to you.

Speaker 2 (01:44:55):
Thanks, Steve, I just tweeted out that Aston Janty touchdown run.
If you haven't out of Chad, see if you want
to reach. I tagged Fox Sports d gonna retweet it.
This is what this is what it looks like, guys like,
this is what it looks like. This is what running
back one looks like. I mean, my goodness, he blends
in a little bit to the turf with that blue jersey,
but he breaks like seven ackles on that point.

Speaker 6 (01:45:17):
Well, remember the opening game he had over two hundred
and fifty yards rushing this year, the second game at
Oregon almost two hundred yards rushing. He barely got any
carries because they were blowing out Portland State the next game,
and still on eleven carries, one hundred and twenty seven
yards rushing.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
I mean, what are we talking That's a first down
of carry. What are we talking about?

Speaker 6 (01:45:34):
He was, Yeah, he's ten yards ten yards of carry
for this.

Speaker 2 (01:45:38):
Talking about greatness? Man, is the type of year like
Marshall Falk.

Speaker 3 (01:45:41):
Had that one years, the type of year like, yeah,
his type year, Barry Sanders had, apuy like herschel Walker,
Garrison Hurst. There's these year with Adrian Peterson, here's these years.
Some of these backs they just come in and from
from go, from the word go, opening week, it's week
after week after week after week, and if they gave
the ball more augusty, they had a won the damn game.

Speaker 6 (01:46:01):
We mentioned this early in the season with this Boise
State running back. He's five ft nine, but he is
a well packed two fifteen.

Speaker 2 (01:46:09):
He's a battering ram.

Speaker 6 (01:46:11):
Steve, you cannot wait to see him at the Pros.

Speaker 3 (01:46:13):
That's bigger than Emmett and he's faster than because Emmett
was five nine five to me it was about two ten.
Maybe Tom it was about two oh five two olds
in that area, two fifteen.

Speaker 2 (01:46:22):
No, he was not.

Speaker 6 (01:46:23):
This is over for Boise State two and a half
years of college football. He's over six yards of carry.

Speaker 2 (01:46:28):
Yeah. I've never seen a bigger man five to nine.
I've never seen a bigger person. I've never seen a
bigger person that you're telling me it is five nine.

Speaker 5 (01:46:36):
I believe that if you put gent on the forty
nine ers right now, he's going for two thousand yards.

Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
Wow. It's a scorcher. But I don't hate it. And
but I don't hate it. I don't hate it. He's
not good. I don't hate it.

Speaker 3 (01:46:47):
Yeah, and hopefully when he goes like you said, Steve,
you can't wait to see hi pros mean either. But
hopefully he just goes somewhere that's got a good sense
of running the ball in a good line to protect him. Yes,
you put this rook in the league and he's and
he's got a makeshift line right aver, he's got some
veterans that are on their last leg or you know,
just some guys that have journeyman, it's it's gonna kill.
And then people are gonna go, oh, he's a bus Look,

(01:47:09):
he was only good because he was running to get
such and such and such and such and such and such.
People don't never really put the totality of comments and
opinions together in football sometimes when it goes from college
to pro.

Speaker 2 (01:47:19):
That's just something that's always bothered me. Yeah. No, I'm
looking forward to seeing him at the next level. Right now,
watch a little Marson Beck roll out and he's oh, no, curse,
just oh my god, he was about to see you, Jinks,
and you're about to say something. Sack fumble, sack fumble.
Alabama gainst their own forty yard line.

Speaker 3 (01:47:38):
Man, And they're driving in Georgia and at this point
George's driving. Look at the fans. I always like when
they show the fans in college football, because they really
do look like they're about.

Speaker 2 (01:47:45):
To jump off a building. Like some of these fans
look like it's the world is ending right now. Well,
the world is ending. Man. You know you're down, You're
down two scores, and you spend all this money to
go to Tusco, loose of all places. Yeah, and now
you got to sit here and watch your team. And
who I was told QB one in this class just
get I mean, Moley wopped.

Speaker 3 (01:48:04):
And there's no flights from Athens to Tuscaloosa. I guarantee
you that.

Speaker 2 (01:48:08):
So if you're in Athens, you drove a handful of
airports between Athens and.

Speaker 3 (01:48:14):
You win a bagos in your SUVs? Do they still
make win of bagos? Do y'all know what that is?

Speaker 2 (01:48:20):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (01:48:20):
Hey, let's bring you on this one another old thing
for you, buddy. Okay, we're gonna make this a theme
now which you was our producer. Do you know what
without looking at it up, dough Chi, do you know
where to win a bago is?

Speaker 6 (01:48:30):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:48:30):
I don't know what that is? Wow, you don't know
to win o bagel? It's so it's a camper, okay, and.

Speaker 3 (01:48:37):
It's not the ones where you can't walk from the
front to the back of the dry like you have
to get out and go around.

Speaker 5 (01:48:42):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:48:42):
This it's like a house on wheels. And they're very
popular in the eighties and a lot of suburban families
used to use these to go on vacations and go
cross country or drive far. You have a sink, you
have a kitchen, you have a Then they started calling
them campers.

Speaker 2 (01:48:56):
You ever sa it was the company that made them. Yeah,
you have a a like an r V. You have
a clean X an r V. There you go, I
know what an r V. Well, before r v's they
called him win a bagos before they were r V.

Speaker 5 (01:49:11):
I think I have a time mar saying is that
that was the name of the company. So was it
like a CLEANEX situation where call it clean Okay, so
the same thing. But yeah, you say, let me get
a clean X. Yeah, you know, do you do you
ask for a tissue?

Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
No? But it was always an r V. It's just
it was so popular say tissue. I don't know. I
say clean X, still say tissue of CLEANX. Generally. I'm
holding my face with my left hands and pointing at
the at the box. Well, right to whoever's over there
to get a clean ax. Don't you see what's going

(01:49:43):
on here? I could use one. I don't really get
to the you know, requesting for it, so you use it.
But also you just said like zero, Xerox is another one, right,
butober is another one.

Speaker 5 (01:49:53):
That's what I was saying, is like there are some
left and there's uber, but we just called it called
it uber.

Speaker 3 (01:49:57):
Oh no, no, not at all. I called yeah. No,
I'm waiting on my lift, I call it whoever's.

Speaker 2 (01:50:02):
Coming again, like you're in the minority there strong really yeah,
fairly square. So everything's an uber to you guys. Yeah,
I'm gonna get an uber and I don't. I'm gonna
get it. Let I'm on this.

Speaker 8 (01:50:13):
I drove for Lyft for a while. They would always
say uber, even though I'm in a Lyft. Yeah, wildly
I pull up like.

Speaker 2 (01:50:18):
Oh you my Uber? Like I guess you'll get out. Yeah,
I'm your lift, all right, Alex Johnson, all right, trysts in.
There's a term that I can't think of what it is,
but it's a word like replaces the bigger words. Even
now they still called Twitter, right, No, I do, it's
X but it would be like if Twitter. It would
be like if you called all social media Facebook because

(01:50:41):
Facebook was so popular. Sure, there's an eighty year old
as I do that. But but but we're not even
talking about that. We're talking about common like you have
to be eighty years old. There's kids right now who
I need to get something Xerox who have never even
heard of the company Xerox.

Speaker 1 (01:50:54):
Ah.

Speaker 2 (01:50:55):
Yeah, true. They don't even know what that means. They
just know the s a peace of favor.

Speaker 3 (01:51:00):
I gotta go to like office depart whatever. I gotta
go to Kinko's and go get some Xerox.

Speaker 5 (01:51:04):
I actually thought it was just called Xerox, and I
didn't know there was a company.

Speaker 2 (01:51:07):
Oh no, no.

Speaker 3 (01:51:07):
My stepdad used to work for Xerox in Washington, d C.
Before they were all bought up, before they merged with IBM.
At one point my dad worked My stepdad worked for
Xerox in Crystal City, Virginia, right outside Watching, d C.
And like it's like eighty nine to ninety, he was
working for Xerox and he was flying out here to Pasadena.

Speaker 2 (01:51:23):
He helped set up that huge Xerox office out there.

Speaker 3 (01:51:26):
My stepfather was one of the guys that helped you
used to fly from Virginia and helped set that office up.
So I but I still I don't go. Oh, I
gotta go make copies. I said, I gotta go get it.

Speaker 2 (01:51:35):
I got the number one, the number one, the number one,
without a doubt. Whatever. I'm gonna google it, gonna google
it because you do google it. What else do you use?
I mean, whatever you use your I'm gonna bing it. Yeah,
oh god, I don't use that whatever, whatever, whatever. J
I'm surprised you haven't heard of duckt uck go this one. No.

Speaker 3 (01:51:57):
To me, any information you're searching for is googling it.
Any information unless you're on like a social media and
you hit the search micro.

Speaker 2 (01:52:08):
That's the point. That's what say. It's a word. It's
called it's called generalization.

Speaker 3 (01:52:13):
Anytime you open up your computer and you tap on
the bar up front and you put in what something
something something greatest recipe for chicken jerk season. I did
a jerk sy jerk season last week on my Chicken.
I want to make my own jerk season. So I
just went to the spacebar point jerk season recipe. To me,
that's googling it. That's googling. I don't bing, and I

(01:52:33):
don't Yahoo anything.

Speaker 5 (01:52:34):
I do think the top search on bing is Google
dot com, which is just yeah, there you go for itself.

Speaker 2 (01:52:42):
Just just to round out the conversation, you got bubble
wrap Apparently it was the name of the you know,
bubble wrap pumpster clean x, escalator thermos. I knew that.

Speaker 3 (01:52:54):
What else do you call it? What else do you
call it an escalator? Though it's an escalator?

Speaker 2 (01:52:58):
What do you call it? Moving stairs? Supposed to call
a moving stairway? Oh god, which actually makes way more sense. No,
it doesn't.

Speaker 9 (01:53:05):
It's literally a movie stairwaffici. It's literally, it's more verbally.

Speaker 2 (01:53:17):
I would tell you that it is more verbally like
appeas into the ears.

Speaker 3 (01:53:20):
But it's an escalator. It's an escalator everywhere. Chapstick exactly. Well,
I do say car max, but use car Max. But
chapstick is both of those are lip bombs. Yeah, I
like my lip bom. I can't have no ashy, crusty lips.
Jumbo tron, taser, Hold on, what else would you call it?

Speaker 2 (01:53:39):
Jumbo tron? What are the names they've got listened for?
Because jumbo tron means that what it's supposed to be
called large screen television.

Speaker 5 (01:53:48):
Jumbo tron companies or is it? Or do they just
not on the large and.

Speaker 2 (01:53:52):
Sony made the initial jumbo tron.

Speaker 3 (01:53:54):
But just think about being at a game and going, hey,
let me look up at the uh replay on the
low arts television?

Speaker 2 (01:54:00):
What I mean? But literally you'd be like, wow, let
me look at the TV. You wouldn't call it large
greet Do you call it the TV?

Speaker 7 (01:54:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:54:07):
Exactly what it is?

Speaker 3 (01:54:09):
TV stadium you call it the jumbo tron. If you
had a stadium, you call it the jumbo tron. You
don't go I'm gonna look at the large TV and
the outfield at the dog that's the baseball stadium.

Speaker 2 (01:54:18):
That's the point is that it was. It was a
named and then they because the name was so popular.
Like a jacuzzi jacuzzi is a hot tub? What you
call it a jacuzzi?

Speaker 3 (01:54:30):
Every hot tubs is the hot tubs? Sounds so snooty
to me. It does, like who do you think you are?
You think you're better than me because you got a
hot tub. My tub's hot too. I turned on the
hot water. How about that?

Speaker 2 (01:54:41):
All right? Speaking of hot tubs, we got coaches on
the hot seage. Who's the first coach fired? Get to
that coming up next, Martin and VJ, Fox Sports Football Saturday.
VJ said, what the Alex? But I was talking to
Steve Covino about this. As a kid who grew up
listening to the radio, I know the worst to every
song that came out between nineteen ninety five and two

(01:55:04):
thousand and six. Me and Comino, we're talking about this yesterday,
like I know every I know semi sonic closing time,
and I haven't heard this song in fifteen years, fifteen years,
and I could write it down back and all that
burnt out, all the ashes or whatever coming up next, while.

Speaker 3 (01:55:22):
His co host has no idea who the hell this is.
I've heard this song before. When the bar's closing, it
feels like an early two thousands movie when like when
like the guys sitting at the lake because his girlfriend
just broke up with him, and the camera pants from behind, oh,
and the sun is sitting in the background.

Speaker 2 (01:55:39):
And then right, here's two geese and it's two geese.
Oh my god. It's when like, oh, like that's my
album walked into the bar, right, take me anyway? Sounds

(01:55:59):
like like the sounds like the beach like the beach
house party scene from an American Pie movie when the
camera's panning into, you know, towards the house and everybody's
walking in with kegs and six packs of beer and
pickup trucks are pulling up and everybody's hopping out, and
the camera pants to the front door. You see. That's
what that song list like. It came from man VJ.

(01:56:20):
Who's the first coach fired this season? I got a
good one who's closing time coming forward. I'm gonna shock
you with mom Brian Dable. That's not shot. But I
would be surprised within the Giant shows on Thursday, a
little bit better than we thought they might.

Speaker 3 (01:56:35):
Yeah, but we've also seen coaches at times when people
think a team is and listen, it's gonna be. It's
a long year. I just don't see no end in
sight for this team as far as them being even
remotely good uh this year. And I think that there
will be pressure to make a change, not just go
get a new quarterback or try to go get I
think there'll be other issues going on with this team.

(01:56:56):
There's always gonna be a player start to start to
rumble and talk a little bit. I just look at
the squad right now. But let me tell you who
they go get. So let me throw, let me throw
the let me throw the shift on you here. They
didn't want to lose a Kwona?

Speaker 2 (01:57:08):
Who? Who?

Speaker 3 (01:57:08):
Who are hard knocks? Where they die hard? Saying they
didn't want to lose se Quon?

Speaker 2 (01:57:13):
So go to the Eagles. Okay, whose offensive coordinator for
the Eagles right now? And who's been who's been who's
been interviewing? Who's been interviewing for head coaching jobs recently?
And didn't get but who's been out? Whose name has
been out there? Could the Giants go still more and say, ha,
you took se Quon back for you took ta Quan

(01:57:36):
from us. Here, hold my beer, let me show you
how we do this. Maybe they go in the off season,
Maybe Kellen Moore frownly gets another interview and another job,
opportunity to go brid Dabo was cool, but we want
to bring in.

Speaker 3 (01:57:48):
The young uh you know, hair hairless face, a young
wonder kid and and and help them. So let's let's
get him his quarterback. Dable had his chance with his
quarterback didn't work out. Let's get a new wonder kid
quarterback Dables. First coach get fired and is replaced by
Kellen Moore. Kellen Moore, twenty five, head coach of the

(01:58:09):
New York.

Speaker 2 (01:58:10):
Football First coach to be fired will be and it's
coming in the next two weeks. It'll be Doug Peterson
of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Here he will not look it
is Doug Peterson. Will not will not w I L
L N O T. Will not be coaching the Jacksonville
Jaguars by Halloween book. It Ah, that's a good book.

(01:58:33):
It he's done for cook deep Fried frickasine. Yeah, well,
because there something's going what's going on there? Something in
the water, something in the water, something in the water.

Speaker 3 (01:58:44):
Great show, guys, love you, guys man. Good to have
the crew. We don't have the crew back Mayor's not here.
But having Alex in playing all types of weird music.
That's always cool. It's not weird to do it for you.

Speaker 2 (01:58:51):
I know, Alex. I'm juicing now baby about time?

Speaker 8 (01:58:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:58:54):
Oh god, I'm in week four? How does it feel? Delicious? Good? Dude?
Think my skin? You see it?

Speaker 7 (01:59:00):
