Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
No, let's go, stinking Genie, let's go, big Boy, let's go.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Let's let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
On a Sunday night, Week six in the NFL, at
least on this Sunday night, heading down the home stretch
a two minute warning ten to seven, Cincinnati leads New
York as we come to you live from the ti
rack dot Com studios. Tire rack dot com will help
you get there on unmatched to selection, fast, free shipping,
free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers.

(00:32):
Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be.
Let me make that update a little bit smoother. They
are at a minute fifty eight to go in the game.
Cincinnati leads New York in this snoozer of a Sunday
night game ten to seven, and the Bengals currently have
a second and three.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
What would I say?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Wrong?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Ten seven? Good sinnati?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
What I say?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
You said? Ten seven and seventeen to seven?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Oh it's Cincinnati score?

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Hold am I that far behind on this game? You're
way behind? Yeah? No way, hold on, hold on, it's
actually legit?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
What did I do?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
What happened into my broadcast? It's at the two minute warning.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
There's actually been like some delay stuff like going on
even on our end two have.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
No oh okay, okay, well then I don't fields. Okay,
seventeen to seven Cincinnati Leeds. We'll get you. We'll keep
you up to date on this. But let's I'm not
watching that. I'm watching the Los Angeles Dodgers dominate the
New York Mets.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Right, Oh yeah, baby, let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
That's Dodgers. It is. It is one sided, pure domination.
Nine zip.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
As we head to the top of the ninth inning,
the Dodgers have not allowed to run since since Game
three against the Padres, when Fernando Tatist Junior hit a
second inning home run. What that is absolutely unbelievable. But

(01:55):
that's where we are right now with the Dodgers looking
to take Game one in the NLC.

Speaker 7 (02:03):
You know, Chris Day said in the broadcast after that play,
After that hit, the Dodgers retired twenty seven in a row,
a perfect game, twenty seven in a row, maybe hit
in more than.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
That, thirty two consecutive scoreless sinnings heading into this ninth inning.
Unbelievable for a pitching staff that had given up twenty
one runs in the first three postseason games, so you've
got nine zip in the Dodgers game, you've got seventeen
to seven. I'm literally looking at my TV and I

(02:39):
have no idea what in the.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
World's going off seventeen to seven the game fifty two?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, I mean, I guess it really wouldn't have mattered, right,
But no one cares about any of this right now,
even the Dodgers rolling, even the day of blowouts that
we had in the National Football League, the unfortant, unfortunate
injury to Aiden Hutchinson. Because everyone wants to know a
very simple question leading it in the show tonight, what
you do?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
How did you get suspended from.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
X Yes, I was reporting. Somebody reported me.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yes, You're not going to get suspended for one person
reporting you for your bad twitter takes.

Speaker 7 (03:15):
But that's what that Well, I think they suspended me
because I said the Knicks we're going to win the championship.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
No, that's that's not that's to stop stop at the poll.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, I heard about the poll.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
How did you hear about the poll? If you can't
see anything on I may have actually filled him in
on that before.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
I can't I can't see anything on Twitter. I feel naked.
I can't see anybody who responds. I can't see. You
can see more than I can see. I can't get
on Twitter. Yes, it said I was suspended.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
It said I was suspended and that somebody turned me in.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I don't know what I I don't.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
Know what I could have put other than that I
said the Knicks were going to win the championship.

Speaker 8 (03:57):
Said I think that you're illegally smuggling Maples.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I guess that.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Could be.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
But here would take away my Twitter guy, you would
just arrest me for that.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Here is UCLA Dodger Frank's poll that he put up
moments ago. Uh, and I retweeted this so you guys
can vote on it. Dodgers, Wildcats, Dodgers listen to me, Dolphins,
Wildcats smack thirty three percent currently think that's the reason
threatening someone. Now, no one's actually voted on that yet,
because that's usually what gets you suspended. Bad gambling advice.

(04:29):
That has sixty six percent of the votes, right wow,
and a small percentage has of best reporting.

Speaker 7 (04:36):
You do you think they did they suspended me because
of my NFL my college picks.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah, you totally screwed the Sooners this weekend. I should
have known as soon as you picked them to upset
that we were doomed.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
So and by the way, person to ever be suspended
over their picks.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I want to know what you did. That's the ree.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
I mean you had to either he couldn't do anything.
I didn't. I didn't do it. I don't. I don't interact. Yeah,
I don't. I don't interact.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
All I do is put comments, like when games are
going on, or if I see something funny on on Twitter,
I'll post.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I'll hit the like button and I'll hit repost. But
I don't.

Speaker 8 (05:16):
Well, if you're if you're commenting under sary and stuff,
then that that probably could be it.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I didn't comment on anything.

Speaker 8 (05:23):
You comment during games.

Speaker 7 (05:25):
So maybe well, yeah, I said the Nicks are gonna
win the championship.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
That's gonna get it.

Speaker 7 (05:33):
I want you to take You have to send Elon
a tweet for me, and dear.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
He actually did?

Speaker 1 (05:43):
What what did he does? He answered back? Yet?

Speaker 8 (05:45):
Do you think he's gonna take his precious time.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
To I wonder what musk. Let me just do a
quick little Twitter.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
You eon stop. I have a problem with my co host. Stop,
we need your help.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Stop.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I don't think we need to go through all of that, Arnie.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
You don't have to do it like that. Doesn't know.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Gosh, people tweeted Elon Musk non stop. I don't know,
well they did.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
The answer is back, yeah, all right?

Speaker 7 (06:12):
Tell them why did I get suspended because I did
lousy college picks or because I picked the Knicks to
win the championship. It's the most controversial thing I've said.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
It's really because you're a Wildcat fan.

Speaker 7 (06:23):
But I can hear you lave it in the background,
right because I have a MED fan?

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Is that why you're taking it out on the MED fan?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I hate to be like you. You obviously had to
click on something. No would I click on I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
You fall for everything on the internet.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I mean aentel Yeah, I mean you really do.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
By the way, Dodgers win, it is a final at
Chavez Ravine, Steve desagred. Does that push the number of
consecutive scoreless innings to thirty three?

Speaker 8 (06:50):
That it does?

Speaker 9 (06:51):
It ties the all time record. I can recall in
Dodger history Sandy Kofax's last postseason series. They got swept
in the nineteen six World Series against the Orioles. That
staff set the record with thirty three straight scoreless innings
against LA in that series.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Believe it or not.

Speaker 9 (07:09):
After the Dodgers lost Game one that year, they lost
the next three games six nothing, won nothing, and won nothing.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (07:16):
And the last two games of the World Series each
were under two hours at Baltimore. So it's now thirty
three straight scoreless innings this past week for the Dodger staff,
tying the all time record.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I was unbelievable tonight, as as somebody who found themselves
being a lot more invested Wednesday night than I ever
expected to be. I mean I was. I was into
it when I wanted him to stay alive. I wanted
to force a Friday night game so I would have
something to do in Dallas on Friday Night.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
And sure enough they did.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And the dude that I mean, let's be fair, blessed
Jack Flaherty's heart.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
But San Diego kind of knocked him around in a
ten to two games.

Speaker 9 (07:56):
Yeah, he gave up a couple homers and that's been
his bugaboo this year. He's six homers allowed this year.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
He was on target today, He was great today.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
He was great So the Dodgers draw first blood, strike first.
I don't they win? I guess is the bottom line here?
Final score nine to nothing? All right, so that's the
break day game.

Speaker 9 (08:15):
Don't forget day game on Fox tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
So that's a one o'clock Pacific.

Speaker 9 (08:19):
Yeah, because the Yankees are starting their series tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
So just learn me up here as somebody who lives
in the heartland, is that Am I going to see
a lot of empty seats at the start of this
thing and get really angry? Or will this actually help?
Because everyone can skid daddle out of work early.

Speaker 9 (08:36):
I do not anticipate a ton of empty seats.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Can you?

Speaker 7 (08:39):
Can you just make that a little bit clear to
Sager when you say at one o'clock start up, thinking
to myself one o'clock, I'm going something that it's four
o'clock Easter Pacific, ten one o'clock Classific. Okay, let's get
that right to Saga.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Listen, mister no Twitter over there, you just down Okay,
And they.

Speaker 9 (08:55):
Got him Games three and four in New York Wednesday
and Thursday.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Turned me in, is what happened.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
Yeah, I have no relationship with Twitter whatsoever. I'd be
the last person to be turning you in, although just
for general purposes, I think we would all contribute here.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yes, exactly, so.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Here's let me let me uh.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
By the way, this is interesting because I I went
and searched how you can get suspended from Twitter abusive behavior.
I didn't do that, Okay, spamming, sending too many direct
messages or tweets.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
In today, I don't do that.

Speaker 8 (09:32):
You probably did that.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Said that too, manipulating the system, following too many new
accounts today, or trying to change your email address too frequently.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Oh yeah, you definitely did that.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Well, here you go, though, this might be what we're
using fake information, providing false information about yourself.

Speaker 7 (09:50):
Though when I say that I'm like the best talk
show host of the world.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Might they got me suspended?

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Might be a problem.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
And running a bot, using a bought to post on
your account, well I don't.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
I don't even know what that is.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
I don't even know what that means. I still think
it's because I said the Knicks were going to win
the championship and they got it offended by that.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
I just want to know what you did, I just because.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
You and I both I want to know what I
did do.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
It's gonna be like the ninth Mystery of the World
this week.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
The funniest thing about this is there's certain words that
trigger bots and I listen. I do not know how
it works, but me mentioning that Arnie was hacked has
led to a myriad of people that are like, hey,
sorry about your account and getting hacked. I got my
account back by tweeting at SO and so. I'm like, oh,
come on, how do these people still have their accounts

(10:41):
active whenever they're spamming? If one were account and I
don't have an account, Arnie is out right now, Arnie
is done.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
All right.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Not only is the baseball game a final, but the
NFL game is a final. I guess I finally caught
up to the fourth quarter. Seventeen to seven will be
your final score. The Bengals will improve the two and
four on the season, and the Giants will fall to
two and four. And in a word, Arnie, this game
was well. I mean, if you like touchdowns, this really
wasn't a game for you.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
It was it was kind of gross.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
You know, when when Cincinnati got when Burrow had the
forty seven yard run, I'm like, okay, this is gonna
be an exciting one. We're gonna have a lot of
points in this and it couldn't be further from the truth.
You know, thank good to Cincinnati won this game. They
could have easily choked this one away and their season
would have been done. They would have been what one
in five, You could have wrote them off, forget about them.
So they saved their season on this one. But Giants

(11:35):
had their chances to steal this game.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, and the number is overall in this game not
gonna be anything to write home about. Twenty two of
forty one for Daniel Jones.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Though give me quit well was last three games.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Chris yeah Ye had no touchdown, He was sacked twice
through a pick. Joe Burrow didn't have a touchdown pass
but had the big touchdown run. What's interesting is you
take out that touchdown run by Joe, which again I
know you can't do right, I'm not, but you take
that touchdown run away. The Giants actually did a pretty
good job defensively against the Bengals tonight, so h In

(12:12):
the end, though the Cincinnati Bengals get to win, they
improved to two and four, Giants take the loss.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
So we'll continue to fight over.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Why don't you just say it, Chris guy? How you
move on?

Speaker 10 (12:22):
Well?

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Why do you just say about Joe Burrow? Say what?
Everybody's waiting for you to say. What he's o r
he's overrated? Come on now, Joe Burrow's not overrated. Oh
he's doing a great job. He's doing a great job.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I mean, did you watch the NFL today?

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah? Why you watching the baseball game? I wasn't watching
the baseball game anymore.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
I mean, would you I would take I would still
take Joe Burrow over a majority of the quarterbacks in the.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
League right now.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Hey, by the way, I'm very disappointed that this show
didn't open up with an apology from you.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Oh wait, oh, what you know, Cayleb Williams, I'll excel.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, he looked good today.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Do you want to sit here and dogged on me
and talk trash on me and tell me how I
don't know ball and this stuff? And I'm telling you
just watch just wait. It's gonna be a matter of time.
And I'm stupid and I'm a moro.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
I think that was the producer that said though.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
No, it was you. It was you.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
And now all of a sudden, he balls out and
you don't have anything to say about it.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I love that all love that, right, love that in Miami?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
So uh real quick before we put a rap on
our opening segment.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
You obviously had someone hack your account because the reason
and did you get an email from them and click
on a link? I think you clicked on an email
from like a fake Twitter.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
No, no, no, that I got an email from them.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
Yes, but when I went to my account it was
already disabled or something like.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
That, violating our rules against evading suspension. Arnie, you obviously
clicked a link.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
You must have clicked a link on, like maybe an
email link, maybe not on Twitter, but like an email
through your twist.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Exactly exactly what are you saying?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Did you get an email?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I don't think you got a Twitter for an email
from actual Twitter. I think you got an email that
you thought was from Twitter. Happens to my grandma all
the time, rest and you clicked on it and someone
took over your account and then it triggered something.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Do you have two factor authentation? He doesn't even know
what that means.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I don't even know what the hell you did. Hit
the duck button on that hit the dup button.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
It's way too easy then for someone to hack your account.
You you clicked a link that probably didn't have you suspended,
and then once you clicked that link, someone took over
and you got suspended. I think that's exactly what happened.
But I'd like to go with the fact that you
talked about the Knicks winning the championship.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I think that's what it was about. I think that's
what it's about.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Absolutely well, it'll be on me on the Twitter machine tonight.
So at playing show or at Fox Sports Radio. We
got you covered. I can't even at you, like, I
can't even mention you think I got myself. I did
this to myself. This is what you're telling me.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
I mean, Patrick, does it? Mary? Doesn't that sound like
what happened? It messed up?

Speaker 7 (14:51):
I did two days ago get a notification that somebody
was trying to hack into my account, so I changed
my password.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
But what Yeah, why don't you go back and see
who that email was from.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Why don't you go look at the email account? Arnie?

Speaker 6 (15:09):
Actually, like, maybe take a screenshot of the and send
that to me and plaga to the email. It's the
actual like the email? What the email?

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Like?

Speaker 1 (15:18):
What the email whatever at whatever Yahoo or whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Because I've I've fallen for that before. I got a
phone call one time that was like, hey, this is Twitter.
We need you to enter your there when they used
to have the four digit verification code, and I was like, oh, okay,
I'll do that, and then all of a sudden my
account was hacked. So I I think we have got
to the box.

Speaker 8 (15:36):
You amateurs.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
I don't know what you guys are wrong. I think
I really got suspended.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
To be honest, I know you.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Did, yes, but you got suspended because you basically handed
over your account to someone else. I think what happened. Hey, listen,
it happens to the olds all the time. You're gonna
be it happened to me, and I kind of consider
myself somewhat technically savvy, even though I could figure out
that my TV was frozen at like the midpoint of
the third quarter the football game. But anyway, everything is

(16:07):
a final right now in the world of sports. Dodgers
take Game one of the National League Championship Series in
dominating fashion nine zip and the Bengals get a win.
They win seventeen to seven. Hey, before we grab our
first time out of the night. Got a note on Twitter.
I was celebrating being a part of the greatest rivalry
in college football yesterday and our buddy A Vandala tweeted

(16:29):
us and he listens every single Sunday night and say, listen,
I know that it's a college football Saturday, and I
know that you guys will be all in on the
NFL and baseball on Sunday, But just how about a
shout out of thought for those of us who have
been affected by Helene and Hurricane Melton. So I just tonight,
I know it's been a rough couple of weeks for
those of you in North Carolina and and up the coast,

(16:50):
and obviously in Florida and the Gulf region. But Arnie,
I just figured we tip our cap tonight and let
everyone know we're thinking of him in that region and
praying for him and hope everything goes well.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
And obviously you and.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
I are here, can't read too much, that can't really
do much manually, but maybe mentally and kind of be
able to take you away from that frustration for the
better part of the next three hours here tonight.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
How's that sound No?

Speaker 1 (17:13):
That soundly great?

Speaker 7 (17:14):
Yeah? No, absolutely, I know they went through some tough times.
I saw the pictures. It just it just kills you.
It just absolutely kills you. So you know, stay strong
and absolutely we're thinking of you.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
All right when we come back. There are only twelve
Roman numerals on this show tonight. That's right, twelve. But
today was not the prettiest day in the history of
the horrible football horrible. We'll talk about blowout Sunday next
and what it means on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 11 (17:40):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
I don't know what's funnier the fact that I've been
watching or I had been watching the Bengals Giants game
while watching the Dodgers game and somehow the game was
delayed by at least a quarter, or that Arnie had
his Twitter feed suspended tonight.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I don't know which one is funnier for me.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
Because I'm a Med fan and they're getting back at me.
I think that's it. I'm telling you, do you now
Here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
I find myself actually hoping to get suspended.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Why so I can be off of Twitter.

Speaker 7 (18:23):
She's like, no, I'm naked. I can't read anything. I
can't go through the stories. People can't get hold of me.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
I hate it. I hate it, though I did have
to laugh.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
My buddy Warren had checked in on Twitter at Plank
Show at Fox Sports Radio. He said, the true Sooner
nation is actually getting in the fox hole now. Maybe
Arnie needs to get in there with us. Yeah, not
a good week for my Sooners, Arnie. Not a good
week week.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
For my Arizona Wildcats. Really what happened there? You guys
jumped out to a seven zip lead and that they
ripped us off?

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Okay, I mean I am all ears for a game
that ended forty one to nineteen. How they ripped you?

Speaker 7 (19:02):
Well, first of all, they few are captain out of
the game for targeting. That rule we got to do seriously,
we got to do something about that rule. You can't
throw the kid out of the game. You know, when
they're making a tackle and the guy with the ball
drops his head the other kid's head is down, which
I haven't.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Seen this play yet, as I mean, are you legit
where it was kind of a BS call?

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Because I'm with you on this.

Speaker 7 (19:24):
It was a a BS call, It really was. But
that's beside the point. Even it was targeting, you can't
suspend them.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
For the entire game.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
That's the rule.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
Yeah, sometimes you have to call targeting, And that wasn't
the spirit of it. The kid just is making a
tackle and both you know, put their head down at
the last minute or something, and just a weird thing.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Now again, I'm not sitting here trying to dump on
your theory, but Arnie, the final score was forty one
to nineteen. Yeah, so when did you lose this defensive player?

Speaker 7 (19:58):
What My wife came into the room and watch. She
gave with me in the second half and we were
down by seven and we had the ball and I go,
you're really going to put.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
The jings on me.

Speaker 7 (20:05):
She's like, oh, have a good attitude about it.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Went right off the bet the first down by seven
in the second.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Half, right, I think the start of the second half.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
You were down two touchdowns?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Was it too, I don't remember, but she was sitting
there the ball.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
There's no information, no, no.

Speaker 7 (20:22):
No, I think it was only I think it was
fourteen to seven, wasn't it?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Because I was in the first half.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
They we threw a touch pass that it got picked
off on the first play, and then they scored a
touchdown seven seconds into the second half, and then the
next play we fubbled and they got the ball and
got a field goal, and in like seventeen seconds.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
My wife jings me, yeah, I mean that's the second half.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
And then we had a first down as we were
driving the ball and they said, no, no, wait a minute.
We mismarked the ball. It's one centimeter too far, backing
up a centimeter, and then we didn't get the down
as it was fourth down on that point.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Well, I don't know how you ended up imploding our
Week six NFL talk because losing forty one to nineteen.
The difference was one player that got kicked out of
the game in the second half.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
But I digreg we.

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Had injuries to our season's done anyway, whatever.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Right, Well, I mean it was done whenever you lost
to Kansas State. But that's neither here nor there. Today
was the day of blowouts. By my math, I didn't
include the Sunday night football game, but if you included
the Sunday morning game, which featured the Bears beating the
Jaguars thirty five to sixteen.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
There's also the Texans.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Forty one to twenty one win over the Pats, the
Packers beating Arizona by three touchdowns somehow, the Steelers, who stink,
beating the Raiders by nineteen, the Lions absolutely curb stopping
the Cowboys forty seven to nine, and the Buccaneers fifty
one twenty seven win over apparently the greatest quarterback ever,
Spencer Rattler, in the New Orleans Saints Harney. The average

(21:58):
margin of victory in all the Sunday games before Sunday
Night Football was sixteen sixteen And how rare do you
even have a double digit spread in the NFL anymore?
And you basically if you get two two point conversions,
you had the average margin of victory in the NFL
on this Sunday two scores. I tend to agree with

(22:21):
what Paul said on Twitter. He said this could easily
be the worst Sunday of the NFL that we've had in.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Quite well, it was a complete bore. I will say that.

Speaker 7 (22:30):
Also, I heard that the books took up beating We'll
talk really Berman next Dore. Oh yeah, but the favorites,
all you know, they won and covered a lot of them.
Did I don't know how many of the all the games, well,
as you mentioned so many of them, and I guess
there was a lot of overs too this Sunday, so
but the games were they were not exciting, a lot

(22:51):
of blowouts. But yeah, the books took up beating Chris
because the favorites covered today.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Now, well, we'll talk to Todd Furman about that coming
up here in just a bit. But when we come back, Arnie,
now that we know how ugly it was, just how
ugly was it, could we see coaching changes coming up?
Could we see this lead to owners getting impatient, especially
in places like Dallas, maybe even somewhere like New Orleans.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
We'll talk about that.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
We're Philadelphia and they won.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Dude, I've got something for you on Phoy.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Iiams just unbelievably shocked at the way Nick Sirianni is
at you and I both my gosh.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
But first, Steve de Sager is in the house, man.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
He's helping Arnie get his account back and keeping tabs
on all the latest greatest sports news you want.

Speaker 9 (23:35):
Ugly, I read from AP in the Bay Area that
the Raiders in every game so far this year have
trailed by double digits.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Yeah, wow, they should be zero to six to be
honest with you.

Speaker 9 (23:47):
Wow, there's been so much scoring this weekend. We were
at an average of fifty plus points total per game
for this NFL weekend until we got to this game tonight,
but we were on pace for like first in four years.
This type of high scoring weekend doesn't mean close games,
but high scoring. And then we had a Bengals at
Giants game that was still seven to nothing in the

(24:09):
third quarter, seventeen to seven Cincinnati. The final quarterback Joe
Burrow a forty seven yard touchdown run on the first
drive of the game. The other ten drives for Cincinnati
ten first downs. You mentioned Philadelphia Jalen Hurts two touchdown passes.
The win over Cleveland was just twenty to sixteen. This
is a Browns offense that is last in the league.

(24:29):
It was under two hundred and forty total yards a game.
They only had two forty four to day. Cleveland has
lost four in a row, but Philadelphia still has not
scored a point in a first quarter this year. That
is a little astounding. The game start. The game in
London started the day Chicago over Jacksonville thirty five sixteen

(24:50):
Caleb Williams with four touchdown passes. This game was at
Tottenham Stadium. Next week, Jacksonville's at Wembley Stadium, London against
New England. We're gonna have Jacksonville bill against the Patriots off.
We only send our best people. New England at home
was a loser to Houston forty one to twenty one.
Pats have lost five in a row. No horrible, they

(25:12):
are clearly horrible now. They did get the rookie quarterback
in there today, Drake May three touchdowns, three turnovers. But
New England was averaging about twelve points a game, so
the fact that they even finished with twenty one is
something of an accomplishment, especially with running back Romandre Stevenson
out with the foot injury. Victories for the Packers and Colts.
Baltimore won it's fourth straight Tampa Bay blew. In early seventeen,

(25:34):
nothing lead at New Orleans still beat the Saints fifty
one twenty seven. Saints wide receiver chrys Olave left with
a concussion and by the way, Derek Carr was out
with the oblique injury, and there was the pregame report
from Jay Glazer on Fox they expect car to be
out about three to four weeks. The Chargers led at Denver.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Lace next week.

Speaker 9 (25:54):
No, no, it's not gonna happen. By the way, Denver
was hosting the Chargers and it was Chargers twenty three
to nothing in the lead early fourth I saw something
that Denver had literally never been shot out at home
in their whole history since they started as an AFL team. Well,
didn't happen today. Twenty three sixteen was the final. These

(26:15):
are two low scoring teams, so once again, the fact
that it was even a twenty three to sixteen final
something of an accomplishment. The Steelers were trailing at Las
Vegas seven to six just before halftime. Pittsburgh won at
thirty two thirteen. Atlanta pulled away at Carolina thirty eight
to twenty. And then there's the Detroit win at Dallas
forty seven to nine, the final on Jerry Jones' birthday.

(26:38):
Way to celebrate Cowboys with five turnovers, Dak Prescott sacked
four times. Dallas at home is zero to three this year. Unfortunately,
the injury to discuss star defensive end at Allions, Aiden
Hutchinson was carted off with the leg injury put in
an air cast off to an ambulance to a local
hospital emergency surgery, staying over night in a Dallas area

(27:01):
hospital with a tibia fracture. There's no way he's coming
back to play this year. They didn't announce that, but
that would be the shock of all shit.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
You know what the source is on that, Steve common sense? Right,
h wow, Well for me, don't take my source.

Speaker 9 (27:17):
Foxes Jordan Schultz saying it is in fact a season
ending fractured tibia, that he'll have additional tests to confirm
the full severity, but quote, the season is over. Dodgers
beat the Mets to open the NL Championship Series nine
to nothing the game one final.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Here.

Speaker 9 (27:33):
Last week, the Dodgers won an eight nothing playoff game,
which was the largest shutout win in Dodgers' postseason history.
They topped that tonight already. And the Dodgers have pitched
thirty three straight scoreless innings. I'm saying, the Dodger. You
can imagine how many postseason games the Dodgers have played
in their history, and their largest shutout ever in Dodger

(27:54):
postseason history going back a century was like Wednesday, and
already that's been broken Tonight Game two is Monday afternoon,
also on Fox TV four pm Eastern Time. Kyle Larson,
the NASCAR winner at Charlotte, back to you, oh Man, that.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Was a good NASCAR race and we had drama where well,
no one's going to care about it.

Speaker 9 (28:12):
Let's just say they finished up the round of twelve
also today.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
That's right, that's right. Nolan Bowman.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Alex Bowman was supposed to advance, but after rules violations,
he's out. They determined his car failed post race inspection.
That's telling Ghana moves on. Bowman is ov er over Arnie,
as you would.

Speaker 9 (28:33):
Say, because Logano left the track thinking this is it
for me?

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Right done?

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Hey, speaking of numbers and how Arnie thinks it was
a bad day for the books, we do have a
very important question that UCLA dodger Frank who was dominating
here early on the tweets. What's the over under on
when Arnie will get his Twitter feedback? He set some
odds here. Do you want him real quick? You want
to take a guess.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
They said they could take anywhere between twelve hours in
two weeks.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
It sounds like the cable guy when they used to
up to fish Cable listen man, I know you got
a cable issue. We'll be there between like six am
today and I don't know new next Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Yeah, huh, that work for you.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Monday is plus.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
One fifty, Tuesday is plus three hundred, Wednesday is plus
eight hundred and never.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Minus two twenty five.

Speaker 7 (29:22):
Wow, right now, I'd have to make a fake account
or something like that.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Could you potentially be done with ex slash Twitter?

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Arnie?

Speaker 7 (29:32):
All because I said the Knicks We're gonna win the championship,
I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Well, Week six Sunday action is in the book. We
still have a Monday night football game, which will be
the first game the Jets will play without Robert sala
as their head coach. Jets and Bill's coming out. Well,
we'll get into that coming up in just a bit.
And Arnie's a little bit more chipper tonight because we
had our first set of bye weeks with the Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins,
and Vikings all on a bye this week, so his

(30:00):
Dolphins couldn't lose.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
To add to the pain of.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Losing his hate weeks.

Speaker 7 (30:04):
You're waiting for, you want your team to play, You're
watching the games. You're like, man, I got my teams
off playing though, it gives you a kind of a
sense of calm, like, Okay, we're not gonna lose today.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Let's see what. Let's see who's gonna suck today.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
You know, I'm gonna enjoy some football today without the
panic and the anxiety of knowing my team's going to suck,
my will to live. If you have a bad team,
or if your team is good, like say the Lions,
you sit there and worry the whole time about one
of your star players getting hurt. But Arnie, I want
to talk about the suck first, real quick. Yeah, I
want to focus obviously on one place. I mentioned Jacksonville

(30:40):
and New Orleans, maybe a couple of areas that might
think about a coaching change. But Jerry Jones came out
pretty quick and said, no, no, no, that's not the case.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
How can it not be.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
I know Mike McCarthy has had an incredible run of
success in Dallas, and I'm not a big believer in
in season coaching changes, But if there is one thing
that's pretty obvious, whatever they're trying to do defensively this year,
it's just not working.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
So what do you do? Man? You just lost forty
seven to nine at.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Home to the Lions. You've got to go to San
Francisco next week for Sunday Night? Is that next week?
Are they on the bye next week? Yeah, that's in
the fourteen days, so that's in two weeks. You get
your bye week coming up this week, then you've got
Sunday Night football with the Niners. And then suddenly, Arnie,
you gotta go to Atlanta and the Falcons look pretty

(31:34):
damn good. You got your bye. Could it be a
time to make a move. What do you do if
you're Dallas and Jerry Jones right now? After that embarrassment,
I'm with you.

Speaker 7 (31:43):
I'm not big on, you know, in season moves unless
you know the season's over. But the season's not over
for them, only one game behind Washington, so they could
still go ahead and turn it around. They could still
go ahead and play better. As to what schemes are
gonna have to use a hell of I know they're
just harbably. Matter of fact, there are three home games
they've been down by I want to say fourteen or
maybe seventeen points in each game or something. They've just

(32:06):
been horrible and obviously, you know, the offense looks stagnant also,
But you knew this kind of new if you were
a Cowboy fan coming in, because they never really did
get that running back. They really never added anybody that
you thought was gonna be dynamic and helped make easier
for Dak Prescott. You you just were going on what
they did the year before and say, Okay, they won

(32:29):
ten to eleven games, maybe they'll go ahead and you know,
make a push at it.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
This year.

Speaker 7 (32:34):
It just didn't happen. But they look awful. I didn't
think they were going to look like this at all.
I thought they'd be better than this. But three and
three's not acceptable. Considering Philadelphia looks awful too. Washington is
the best team in that division.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
They beat the Steelers, Giants, and Browns on the road.
We just watched the Giants tonight lose seventeen to seven
of the Bengals. They're not very good. I watched the
Steelers today and I know you'll see that final score
and you'll say, oh my gosh, they crushed the Raiders.
They're bad. That's not a good football team. And they
lost to the Cowboys. The Browns. I mean, I remember

(33:09):
opening leak the Cowboys. Remember it was all about Tom
Brady and they beat the Browns thirty three seventeen. You're like,
oh my gosh. But in their home games today they
lost forty seven to nine. They lost to the Saints
forty four to nineteen when Derek Carr was cooking and
this sounds you brought up the Ravens, the double digits,
the double digit deficits they've had at home. Arning they

(33:30):
lost to the Ravens twenty eight to twenty five. But
at one point they were down twenty eight to six
to the Ravens, so it.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Was more than seventh, So I was twenty two. Yeah, jeez.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
They were down twenty eight to six at one point
in that game. But Jerry Jones has been adamant that
he's not considering.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
A coaching change. Yeah, and if you're going to do it,
this is when you do it.

Speaker 7 (33:47):
You know what if you I think he wants to
go ahead and finish out the year, and then you
could go ahead and really get the guy you want.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
You sit down with people who's going to be available.

Speaker 7 (33:56):
Belichick's not going to come in that way through or
anything like that, or whoever you want, so you really
decide who's the next person you want to bring on in.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Belichick really seems like he's enjoying the media side of
it anyway. All right, so you you and I are
in agreement. They're not gonna make a move. You're gonna
take Jerry at his word.

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Yeah, well that's what I would do it, and I'm
gonna take Jerry out his word.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Also when we come back, could there be two other
teams that desperately need to do something? If not, it
could get really bad really quick in Jacksonville, New Orleans.
If it's not already. We'll dive into that next right
here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 11 (34:30):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
All right, it's already in Plank on a Fox Sports
Sunday recapping Week six of the NFL. We'll get to
a little college football later in the program. And baseball
Dodgers take Game one to Saga. Has all the updates
coming up La Beach, New York nine zip game two
tomorrow all three o'clock Central time one specific. I'm gonna

(35:05):
give every time zone but Eastern, so you can't figure
it out. You and I, I don't know how Cowboy
fans feel about this. You and I are not big
coaching change guys in the middle of the season. I
don't think changing Maybe maybe if you decide to allow
another guy to call plays if you're struggling on off
or Carolina did.

Speaker 7 (35:26):
Yeah, when they change quarterbacks, that makes all the difference
in the world. But I'm not big moving people from
the coaching position halfway.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Could there be a change necessary though? In New Orleans
or Jacksonville right now?

Speaker 7 (35:39):
You think, didn't you mean to say that New Orleans
was like one of the surprises of the NFL like
three weeks ago or something.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Well, and I don't. Here's the thing. I don't think
they're a bad football team. I think they're really good.
But they've just hit a skid here now. I got
rolling downhill today, And I know every single Saintan fan
wants to elevate Spencer rat to be like the best
quarterback out of the draft this year. And he might be,
but some people, I mean, it takes time. And he

(36:08):
threw the worst interception I think I've ever seen thrown.
You know, Derek Carr threw a bad one on Monday
Night against the Chiefs. On the opening drive, Spencer Rattler said,
hold my beer. And the final pick that he threw,
I mean he threw it into triple coverage. He threw
it right into the numbers.

Speaker 7 (36:22):
But Chris his performance today, as far as I'm concerned, said,
this is the cars last year.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Oh no, absolutely, I think I don't him, if not sooner,
if not sooner. But they're two and four right now.
But but here's the thing. If they turn it over
it this year to him, then they might be drafting
high enough to where they can get a different quarterback
like a Shador Sanders are a Carson Beck this year
if they won him, because buddy, you might think he's
the future, but he's not the present. Right, Saints fans,

(36:52):
I think you felt the same. You saw those flashes
where you're like, oh okay, okay, okay, this is fun,
but you also realize, okay, we just he just lost
by fifty. I think the frustration with Saints fans, though
my opinion is more with Dennis Allen. He didn't win
with the Raiders. He was an outstanding defensive coordinator under
Sean Payton and unfortunately it just it doesn't look like

(37:13):
it's gonna work for him in New Orleans. He's been
given plenty of time. Maybe try a new voice. Meanwhile, Jacksonville,
I mean, you feel like everything was in place for
Jacksonville to be around for a while, right You get
Trevor Lawrence, you built what looked like a pretty good defense,
and from the you bring in a coach that went
to the super Bowl. Doug Peterson went to the super

(37:34):
Bowl and had a falling out with Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
And you think you'll get a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Whisper and it's just been terrible since his first season,
aren't he? I mean they're bad right now.

Speaker 7 (37:43):
They have no chance to win the division because Texan's
already five and one. They look no chance of making
the playoffs. So this is a position here. See it's
different than you know, like the other teams when I'm saying, okay,
you can still make a run out of it, like
the Cowboys can. So do you want to make a change.
Jacksonville can't make a run at it. So if you
want to make a change, and you know who your

(38:05):
coach is going to be for the future, and he's available,
then go after him now. If he's not, then let
him finish out the year and then you'll figure out
what's going to happen next year.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
I had to laugh at Baker rites. I would agree
that the Jacks need to cut bait. Peterson looks similarly confused.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
Every single time I see a cutaway and it was
it was a lot today of Doug Peterson on the sidelines.
He always looks lost. It always looks he has no
idea what's going on now. And here's what's crazy about it.
They were a nine to eight football team. I mean,
that's not a terrible spot to be in, right, and

(38:43):
you came down to the final week of the season
whether or not you would make the playoffs or win
the division. So it's not as if he's coming off
a four and eleven or seven to nine season. He's
had two winning seasons and made the playoffs in his
first year.

Speaker 7 (38:59):
And they really should be the second best team in
that division, right behind the Texans, because you knew the
Titans were gonna have it a tough year, and who's
really scared of the culture, especially now that Richardson's not
playing that Really, Jacksonville should have been sitting in that
number two slot.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
So I'll just be I'll be watching Jay Glazer's Twitter
feed tomorrow or somebody because I wonder, I wonder if
might be showing up. What will you won't be. I've
got you covered on that. Don't worry. I'll let you
know if anything comes down. Here's what does kind of stink.
By the way, guys, is Arnie is the king if
something breaks of sending it to me right away?

Speaker 1 (39:34):
Yes, yes, so I don't.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself if
there's breaking news tomorrow, I don't get a tweet a
text from you?

Speaker 7 (39:41):
Are you got me all day trying to get ahold
of the people on Twitter to so I could reactivate
my account.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
I'll tell them I'm picking the Celtics to win the championship.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
Maybe, ye, hey, maybe that'll be a way I get
that Twitter account back. All right, Hey, when we come back,
let your tweets to the show. You guys have stayed
active and we appreci siate it. At Plank Show at
f Fox Sports Radio. We'll get your takes in on
week six of the NFL. Plus, we're starting to get
to that point where you're seeing playoff projections in college football.
We have twelve teams now, and some of the squads

(40:13):
that are in the mix are fascinating. Now it's not Arizona,
it's not Oklahoma, but it's teams you might not be
thinking of in the world of college football. We'll get
to it next on Fox Sports Radio. Oh, it's all
coming alive from the tire rack dot Com studios. Tire
rack dot com will help you get there an unmatched selection, fast,

(40:34):
free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand
recommended installers. Tire rack dot com the way tire buying
should be. All right, your choice one of three directions
to start hour two. Todd Furman coming up here in
just a bit. Were recapping week six. Okay, would you
rather hear from Nick Sirianni about his interaction with the fans?

(40:55):
That's number one? Ok the Detroit Lions reacting to Aiden
hutch since injury. Or would you rather hit some of
the tweets to the program? Oh?

Speaker 3 (41:04):
What did you?

Speaker 7 (41:05):
I'm surprised. I thought you were going to bring up
a fourth topic. I'm I'm a little shocked. Okay, we'll
probably get to the fourth topic later on. Well, what's
your fourth topic. Well, Roman Nurol number thirteen. You didn't
see that one. Roman Numeroll thirteen on your minor rundown,
did not my new TV show movie series that's coming out.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Yeah, I pretty much ignored that. So would you? R Wow,
that's not Hutchinson, that's not a joke.

Speaker 7 (41:29):
By the way, I want you to know that that's
that's really true. Well good the reactions. Fine, let's go
ahead and get to that. Which one I gave us?
Okay eight Hutchinson? All right, damn it, I'm gonna do
you have a TV show?

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yes? I do.

Speaker 6 (41:44):
Why would you get twitter back?

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Yeah? I mean very good, Patrick.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
No, I'm serious.

Speaker 7 (41:50):
I I had meetings last week and I'm going to
be doing a TV show, Sash mini series, and it's, uh,
you know, kind of like Hoop Dreams meets Hard Knocks.
It's about a sixty one year old talk show host
trying out for the A B A. And you follow
the cameras follow him around, as well as the guys

(42:12):
on the team, the coach, the GM, the play by
play guys. I'm gonna be trying out for them.

Speaker 8 (42:19):
You you fell for it. So now he's talking about.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
The trying out for the Vermont Coyote.

Speaker 8 (42:25):
Man broke his foot.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
What are you talking about it?

Speaker 8 (42:29):
And he could possibly not play for the rest of
the season. And we're talking about Arnie.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
I'm telling you the truth. It's a TV series that's
gonna be coming out. I'm gonna be trying out for
the very Coyote to.

Speaker 12 (42:40):
The A B A.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
Good luck, good luck? Where can we watch this, Arnie?

Speaker 7 (42:44):
I'll let you know where you can watch it when
we're done filming and all that and started yet.

Speaker 8 (42:48):
Because wait, shouldn't you like sign an NDA or something? Damn?

Speaker 7 (42:52):
I spoke about I spoke to the would you I
spoke to the commissioner of the A B A.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
They're very excited and it's to be a lot of fun.
I can't.

Speaker 8 (43:01):
Shouldn't you like not talk about stuff before you so
like once they make you sign an NDA, I'm so
upset that I really felt for this. Wow, you got you?

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Honestly. I am being one hundred honestly.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
What network is doing and what is it going to be?

Speaker 7 (43:19):
A digital No, I will see whoever pays the most money,
I'll go ahead.

Speaker 8 (43:23):
So you don't even so it's just an idea.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
Distributor.

Speaker 7 (43:25):
This is gonna start filmed for starting filming right away,
and they wanted me to play immediately, but I need
some time to get in the shade.

Speaker 6 (43:32):
He's gonna go on like a kickstarter for this can
well about the Lions again.

Speaker 3 (43:39):
It's Aiden Hutchinson, not Ernie Hutchinson.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
So a big, big time injury ad and Hutchinson seasons done.
Looks look terrible. If you've seen the video, don't look.
But Jared Goff afterwards talked about the team's reaction.

Speaker 13 (43:53):
He's a guy who is part of the heartbeat of
this team and as a leader does everything right. He's
a great teammate. He's everything you want in a player
and a teammate, and to have him go down like
that and to be visibly upset is tough for all
of us. And he will be fine. You know, he's
gonna come back eventually, whenever that may be. But knowing him,
he will be fine and he will bounce back.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
Meanwhile, Dan Campbell, maybe one of the toughest guys we've
ever seen, talked about it.

Speaker 4 (44:16):
I hate it for hutch That's tough. He's in good
hands right now. He's being taken care of he'll stay
back here.

Speaker 14 (44:23):
You know.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
Obviously he's gonna be down for a little while, so
that's that's tough.

Speaker 11 (44:26):
Man.

Speaker 4 (44:26):
It's hard when you lose somebody like him. But we'll
know a lot more after this and obviously wish him
the best.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
How much do you feel like this affects the Lions.

Speaker 7 (44:37):
I think it affects him a big time. I mean,
he was like the heart and soul not only the defense,
but of the team, you know what I mean. You
always count on him to make the big play or
you know, get a big rush on even if he
didn't get to the quarterback at least to make make
him throw early or something. And you know how good
he is. You've seen it, and this is horrible. I mean,

(44:58):
how could you not be down after seeing something like this.
It's just it's just horrible for him. I feel terrible
for the Lion fans. I just feel horrible for him,
you know.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
Yeah, the I mean I am one of those people
that didn't see it live because the game was terrible.
It was one of those where all of a sudden,
you start seeing the tweets unless you're ARENI and you
don't have your Twitter feed right now. He says, prayers
up for a Hutchinson that looked bad, and I fell

(45:29):
for it and I'm like, oh, let's see what it is.
And when you click on it, it's, oh, yeah, my gosh,
that is that is terrible.

Speaker 7 (45:36):
I didn't know he was gonna have to have surgery
right away. When they carted him off, though, I'm like,
oh boy, this is this doesn't look good.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
But man, they got to him right away, and I
wonder how bad it really was. Geez, that's just horrible.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Meanwhile, the update we have is, according to Adam Schefter,
he's gonna stay in Dallas so doctors can evaluate his
lower leg injury. And as you just heard from Dan Campbell,
he'll be down for a little bit for them. And
speaking of issues non injury related, what is going on
with Nick Sirianni After the Eagles find a way to

(46:12):
sneak by the lowly Cleveland Browns. And I only say
that because they're struggling this year, right there's a playoff team.
Last year, things aren't going well. Deshaun Watson's a nightmare.
We'll have probably a spot later on in the program
where we can try to debate, you know what the
Browns need to do at quarterback. But he ends up.
I mean, like what yelling at fans? What was he

(46:33):
even buying?

Speaker 7 (46:34):
They were yelling at him, and then he was going
back at them, right, they wanted him gone and he
was going back. I don't think it was over a
particular play or a particular call.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
I think it was just a game in general.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Right, Here's what Nick Sirianni said. It is very brief,
but I think to the point from Sirianni.

Speaker 5 (46:53):
Not just excited, just excited to get the win. Yeah,
it's hard to win in this league, so we're excited
to get the win.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
So he's not answering. I think.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Here's what Jaylen Hurt said about it. I wonder if
they let me guess here, it's gonna be something where
Jalen talks.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
Very soft voice, something maybe about a coffee bean.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
And then he'll talk about, uh, not getting too caught
up anything outside of the Eagles locker.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
M Let's see how close I am.

Speaker 14 (47:19):
I don't know what exactly happened. I've kind of been,
you know, put on notices on some of it. I
don't really I didn't see anything, but I might encourage
him to be himself. That's who he is. I don't
know who else said it. I know I spoke to him,
you know, and I'm you know, reassurance of you know,
we we we trust who you are, we trust where
you are as a coach, and we know we can
deal with you.

Speaker 11 (47:39):
Hm.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
Okay, not sure what that man, but go ahead, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (47:43):
Well, I mean, that's that's Jayalen. I mean, it's his philosophy.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
We could build with you. Okay, I don't.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
I don't really know the why behind it. Listen, the
dude's different, shaved his head.

Speaker 8 (47:55):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
He said he was having fun, but I would imagine
it was something a little along the lines of, hey,
bring that same energy or whatever.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
I don't know. Were you right about Jalen Hurts? After all?

Speaker 10 (48:09):
No?

Speaker 3 (48:09):
I think he's great, don't you when you take him
in Miami? Right now?

Speaker 7 (48:13):
That's beside the point I take just about anybody in Miami.
But maybe, you know, we really put him up there
on a pedestal. Maybe he's not as great as we
were making him out to me or what.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Well, I here's what's hard. I think in this you
can disagree with me if you want, Arnie. I think
everyone compares every quarterback to Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady.
And if you're not Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady, you
sick or you're not any good. And the reality is,
if you follow any quarterback career, for the most part,

(48:45):
there's there's roller coasters, whether it's injuries on their offensive
line or injuries to their wide receivers. I mean, I
gotta be honest with you, I don't know if I've
ever seen anything. Brady did it and Mahomes did it,
and that's it when you have a decimated receiving corps
like Mahomes isad this year and honestly, you know, it's
more what the defense is doing for Kansas City this

(49:07):
year than anything else. Their offense still has yet to
get on track. So but with that said, I just
feel like every comparison is, well, he's not Patrick Mahomes. Well,
of course he's not. You know, there's only gonna be
probably one Patrick Mahomes. Ever, there's only gonna be one
Tom Brady. Ever, there's only gonna be one Joe Montana.
So I think Hurts is one of those guys that
will ride a little bit of a roller coaster and

(49:27):
maybe there's gonna be a year where they finished nine
and eight and you look up it's like, damn, they're
in the NFC Championship game. But there is a limit
to what he can do. He's just not the most
accurate guy. He doesn't have the strongest arm, but he
just makes play. So I still put him that category,
ARNI of a guy that I think is gonna continue
to get better.

Speaker 1 (49:46):
Are you running a little bit on this? Well, I'm
not turning on him. I'm not so much.

Speaker 7 (49:50):
What's going on with the Philadelphia fans and why are
they going so hard at Philadelphia?

Speaker 1 (49:54):
There's still three and two.

Speaker 7 (49:55):
What do they expect to be what five and zero
and running away with the division? And you know, I'll
probably just being in command. So but it's only two losses.
It's not like the season is in peril or anything
like that.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
I think part of it, too, was there was a
situation where they could have run the football instead of throwing.
They could have run the football to grind some clock,
and he threw it there in that moment, and I
think maybe they were getting on him for that a
little bit. But I mean, again, I I don't understand
in a win going after a fan. In fact, I
had my own Roman. How many Roman numerals did you give.

Speaker 3 (50:27):
Us a day? Twelve?

Speaker 1 (50:28):
Thirteen?

Speaker 3 (50:29):
Oh you gave us thirteen? Okay, I only saw twelve.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Well, my Mad Movie was number thirteen.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
Yeah, that's probably why I didn't see it Roman numeral fourteen.
There are usually two fights you never win, and it's
a fight versus the media, and it's a fight versus
the fans. And at least even if you win the
fight with the fans, what good is it, man, because
they're constantly rooting for you to fail, and even when

(50:58):
you win, they're more about the team and you and
supporting the team. So I don't I don't know, dude.

Speaker 1 (51:03):
What are you saying to them anyway? Are you using?
Are you cursing at them?

Speaker 3 (51:07):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (51:07):
He's saying, you come down here, let's see if you
could coach better. What the hell are you gonna say
to the fans?

Speaker 3 (51:12):
You know, I have no idea. I have no idea
all you're.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Doing in in moments when you down here, you know,
I guess.

Speaker 2 (51:22):
You know what maybe I should have at a third fight?
There's three fights you're never gonna win. Versus the fans,
versus the median, versus your owner unless you're Bill Belichick.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
And hell, in the end, he didn't even win that fight.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
No he didn't know it is.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
So I just I've never really understood the keeping it
real mindset of that. Just do your job, keep your
head down, and if it really bothers you that much,
go get on your burner account unless it's been suspended
when you get home and fire off a tweet about
how great Nick Cifiani is.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
I know what everyone does. Anyway.

Speaker 7 (51:52):
I do have to get on the fans, though. I
mean here, you're winning a game. Yeah it might not
be the prettiest, but you have to win this game
because you lose it. You up to two and three,
You're gonna get on the coach. Now this was after
the game or toward the end of the game. I'm
not sure, but this was right at the end of
the game. Okay, right at the end of the game.
That's not the first thing I'm doing. I'm just happy
that I won. I'm not going after the coach because

(52:14):
I won. That This sounds kind of ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
Are you listening to yourself right now? Why what do
you call your coach after he wins a game? You
call him the chemistry professor, or.

Speaker 7 (52:27):
He doesn't beat he doesn't beat good teams. Though my
guy really makes me sick and I'm not there. You
go like, oh, I gotta get on the fence.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
You're that guy that'd beat You're right there yelling at
Mike McDaniel if they didn't win the game by enough.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
That's me. That's me. He was yelling out at the stands.
Oh my god, he's yelling at you right now.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
And by the way, one other note, I I was
just watching here on I think it's Sports Center, but
they were showing the highlights of Jim Harbaugh after the game.

Speaker 3 (52:55):
Boy, that was scary.

Speaker 1 (52:56):
Man.

Speaker 2 (52:57):
Good to see everything was okay with him. He said
he'd been dealing with it and arrhythmia, and I like,
I'm sure at some point this is gonna be something
I'll have to deal with because everyone in my family
has dealt with it.

Speaker 3 (53:08):
My mom went with it, my grandpa dealt with it.
It's scary, So I was.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
I was really happy to see Jim Harball was okay
because anytime you see a non athlete go into the
injury tent and just and kind of in a hurry
and then walk off the field, though I did have
to laugh when everyone thought he had crapped his pants.
I thought that was pretty funny, like, look, he's walking,
but good to see that he's okay.

Speaker 11 (53:29):
I was.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
I thought it was a heart attack, right, and that
was yeah, first.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
One in rhythmia. Yeah, that's what I was talking about.

Speaker 7 (53:34):
But yeah, but you know, like a serious one way
you gotta rush it to the hospital and you're you know,
undergoing a procedure. So I thought it was like really
really bad. But I thank god, thank god, it wasn't
you know?

Speaker 3 (53:47):
All right?

Speaker 2 (53:48):
A couple of quick tweets before we get a break,
and then Todd Furman joins us. I would say, at
stinking genius one, but Arnie is suspended by Twitter. You
can find me at Plank show. In fact, even when
you at Arnie, it shows the account of suspended LJ rights.
The AFC East is made interesting because Buffalo is showing
that they're not as good as we thought. A loss tomorrow,

(54:10):
and it's really interesting. The Patriots have to like what
they saw from Drake. May today better beat them now
because it may not happen soon. I see what you
did there, LJ. Did you get a little bit of
a better feeling about as bad as things are for
your Dolphins right now, being at two and three, only
being a game out of first place, knowing the Bills

(54:32):
play the Jets and that they've lost two straight games.
I mean, are you getting a little bit of hope here?
Whether you're having a little bit of hope.

Speaker 7 (54:37):
But I'm waiting for Tour to get back, And if
Twur doesn't get back, then there's no hope for the
Dolphins or offense is just stagnant, and it's completely different
than when two is in there. So if Twitt doesn't
come back this year, I still think he's coming back.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
But you thought he was coming back after the bye,
So is he gonna come back next week?

Speaker 7 (54:54):
I thought he was going to come back back. I
guess you told me to guess to miss.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
One more game.

Speaker 3 (54:59):
Yes, they four games the bye week.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
The bye week counts, but he's got to miss four
games whenever you're on the and when they put you
on IR and I don't I don't know what the
ramp back. I don't know what he's been doing. I
don't know if he's been able to throw. I don't
know if he's been able to run. So there would
be a process I would imagine to get him back
if he is going to make his way back.

Speaker 7 (55:20):
Do you think they would have put him on the
IR if he didn't have all those concussions beforehand?

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Yes, I think that looked pretty severe, to be honest
with you. Well, I mean it's part of it.

Speaker 7 (55:32):
Well, there's other people that are going through the concussion
protocols that get right back in there the same game,
So I know.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
Maybe I don't know if they were.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Really trying to fight to get him back sooner rather
than later.

Speaker 7 (55:44):
I no, I still think he's coming back on the
first earliest sign from the from the injured list, so
we'll see.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
I wonder who comes back first, Tua or Arnie's two.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Arnie's Twitter account, Yes, I like it to all our listeners,
please comment, what do you think? He's account seven ninety
nine on Fox and Mister Nobody writes, Given how the
Cowboys got curb stomped today, it makes the Steelers loss
to them last week look worse. But Pittsburgh is four
and two, so maybe they're not so terrible. The Bucks

(56:17):
and Falcons are going to battle for the NFC South
Washington might actually be good. No, No, no, mister, nobody. I
watched the Steelers today. You're terrible.

Speaker 14 (56:25):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
I'm know if you're a fan of him or not,
but that's not a very good football team. And part
of the reason is this roller coaster with Justin Fields.
It's insane. Arnie. He makes a throw where you're like,
oh my gosh, this dude is amazing, and then he'll
throw two to the other team or he'll just drop
the football for no reason. I mean, I don't know

(56:47):
how this team beat Atlanta. I don't know honestly how
they beat Ginver. But here they are.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
At Fortes now with Russell Wilson. Is that what you're saying.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
I don't know how healthy Russell Wilson.

Speaker 7 (57:00):
If you're a Pittsburgh fan, are you, are you clamoring
we gotta get rusted.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
No, because I'll.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Tell you why, and I don't think I would either,
Because those highs that you get with Justin Fields are
so high.

Speaker 7 (57:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:12):
I mean, you watch him make some plays with his
feet and you're like, holy whoa. And then those lows, dude,
they're pretty pretty low. But they're pretty good defensive football team,
So I say they stink. I might be a little
bit bitter over the Raiders fumbling the ball on the
one and giving away too many opportunities in that game.
But they'll as long as they can stay healthy with

(57:35):
t J. Watt and as some of the dudes on
the defensive side of the football, they'll have something to
say about the one.

Speaker 7 (57:40):
I thought you were gonna win too. I thought you
were to go to five hundred and be right there
in the playoff raise.

Speaker 1 (57:45):
I'm like, there they go. He's gonna pull it off.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
Look at O'Connell. Look the Raiders have the weirdest offense ever.
And I know we got to break guys, but they'll
they'll throw to Brock Bowers and a tire drive and
it'll look dominant, and then they want.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Throw it to him. Yes, the game, I don't get
I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (58:01):
Todd Ferhman joins us next from the tyrack dot Com studios.
It's Arne in Plank on Fox Sports Radio. All right, guys,
it's Arnie in Plank on a Fox Football Sunday. Say
hello to our buddy Todd Furman out in Las Vegas.
H Todd, what a rough week from my team. Sooners
get smoked, but many home the home stadium gets taken

(58:23):
over every single week, and I get it, the Raiders stink,
But is this just gonna be what we have to
expect as Raider fans that opposing teams are always going
to be taking over that stadium.

Speaker 15 (58:35):
No, I mean the Steelers are a little bit of
an outlier. When you look at the way Steelers fans travel.
It doesn't matter if it's here in Vegas or some
of the other venues that they go to on an
annual basis. I mean, those fans go out in full
force and today, much your chagrin, Plank, my wife was
one of those folks waving her terrible towel watching the Steelers.
I'll win and cover as a three point road favorite.
But this Raiders team, no doubt has bigger problems. And

(58:57):
I think one of the most disconcerting things when you
look at the the organization is running that DeVante Adams
ongoing saga. He is going to get traded, he may stay.
They have to figure this out sooner rather than later,
and suddenly either as hamstring heels or he finds himself
in greener pastures. But it's an organization without a clear direction,
and you know, I have some real questions as far
as leadership from the top of the food chain.

Speaker 7 (59:17):
On down Todd How are the casinos, how the hotel
is still standing? I hear the books got clobbered the
Favorites one the games went over.

Speaker 1 (59:27):
How bad of a day was it for the books?

Speaker 15 (59:29):
This will probably go down as arguably the worst Sunday
that we'll have this season and maybe of the last
handful of years when some of the financials come out tomorrow. Now,
don't want the book scrub poverty, because when you look
at all of the outright upsets that we saw during
the month of September, they put arguably the best first
month of the season on the books. But today I
would not want to be on the receiving end of

(59:50):
some of those emails from the higher ups of these
various casinos. I kind of joked on social media it
would be a daylight today where I wouldn't be answering
my emails until Wednesday unless my boss is to come
out of their offices down to see me face to face.
When you look at Road Favorites today, eight to no
against the number going all the way back to Thursday
night with the forty nine ers covering against the Seahawks,

(01:00:10):
and of course the books thought they had a little
bit of a silver lining with the Cincinnati Bengals winning
but not covering on Sunday Night football. But Chase Brown
had other intentions with that late run to push it
over or not over the total, but to get Cincinnati
outside the number seventeen to seven lead and road favorites
will go for the clean sweep tomorrow with the Buffalo
Bills a modust one one and a half point favorite

(01:00:31):
at MetLife against the New York Jets.

Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
So I guess maybe this is my naevte but so
do we see?

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I mean, betters, the casuals tend to spend more on
the favorites. Is that why there was so much I
guess you could say risk today with some of the
road favorites.

Speaker 15 (01:00:49):
One hundred percent, and when all the favorites go out
there and win games out right, you have parlay liability
to get s ratchet up because people want to try
and tie in the Philadelphia Eagles of the world on
the money line and thinking that it's a free leg
to the Houston Texans and then don down the board.
So this will be a day that you all have
a lot of six seven eighteen parlays that'll cash, and

(01:01:09):
oftentimes the player has one of these Sundays throughout the
course of the season, they try and capitalize and they
get an opportunity to play with a little bit of
house money. So it'll be interesting to see, you know,
if you follow any of the more prominent book makers
in town and some of the bigger outfits across the
country in terms of how they'll report their numbers tomorrow.
But I don't expect it to be a very good day,
to say the least. And we'll see if things change again,

(01:01:31):
if they can somehow find a way to get The
New York Jets went out right knowing that the public
looks to be backing the Bills on the road.

Speaker 7 (01:01:37):
I know they don't get as much on this, but
I got to assume that the sharps are on the
Dodge is also probably lay in a run and a
half to that lineup is just awesome, so hard to
beat up.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
I'm sure people are on the Dodgers, you know, a
little bit.

Speaker 15 (01:01:50):
Of a different dynamic. I mean, when you're nestling a
Sunday night playoff game in Major League Baseball, even in
the NLCS with teams hailing from major media markets, it's
still take to Bacca to the football games that are there.
And while I didn't have a chance to go to
some of the prominent shops down on the Strip, I
can't imagine any of the books had sound, which is
always a good litmus test in terms of where the
betting handle is on the Dodgers and Mets compared to

(01:02:13):
the sending a football game with the Giants and Bengals.
Interestingly enough, though, you're not often going to find a
Major League Baseball team that scores nine runs in a
playoff game like this with one extra base hit, So
the Mets need to get some of their control as
far as their pitchers are concerned under wraps. And when
you're looking at the Dodgers, they continue to rack up
scoreless innings. I think at last check the streak is
now thirty three innings and we'll see a little bit

(01:02:34):
of a bullpen game tomorrow for the Dodgers, who opened
up right around a dollar forty favorite opposing Sean Manya Todd.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
What does the injury to Aiden Hutchinson do for you
long term and your view of what Detroit can be?

Speaker 15 (01:02:47):
It changes the dynamic completely and arguably the most competitive
division right now in the NFL from top to bottom.
You look at the win loss records in the NFC North,
you look at the point differential, and there's not going
to be an easy out for any of that quartead
of teams. Thankfully, for the Lions, they have a high
powered offense that only looks to get more and more
dynamic as they integrate weapons like Tim Patrick, who was

(01:03:08):
originally signed to their practice squad into the fold. But
Aiden Hutchinson is a game wrecker, and when we look
at some of the elite defenders that actually have an
impact on a point spread, he is one of the
handful of guys that can generate pressure and be a
one man wrecking crew. There's nobody else on that Lions
roster that can do some of the same things Hutchinson
can do, and very few players in the league is
He's starting to have the same kind of impact as
a healthy Miles Garrett a TJ. Watt. When you factor

(01:03:31):
that in with the Lions also losing the other pass
rusher they acquired this offseason of Marcus Davenport, it'll put
a lot more pressure on a relatively inexperienced secondary that's
going to be forced to come of age pretty quickly.
I will see exactly what this new look defense does
next week when they go up to the Twin Cities
to take on a Minnesota team fresh off of buy
that no doubt will have some unique schemes and wrinkles
in place for this defensive group of erin Glenn.

Speaker 7 (01:03:54):
You know, Todd, now that we're six weeks in, any
NFL team make you want to run out and bet that.
I saw the latest OIDs the Bears to win the
division still at thirteen to one, and they're four and
two right now, that might not be too shabby.

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:04:06):
I haven't seen any of the updated prices as far
as the divisions are concerned. But when you look big
picture wise, look, I know people won't be enamored with
the seventeen to seven score line and Sunday night football,
but if the Bengals defense can get healthy and at
least return to slightly below average, that's still one of
the most dynamic offenses in the league. I really believe
they're starting to identify who their game breaking running back

(01:04:26):
is and Chase Brown and by giving him the ball
even after he fumbled at a critical juncture. I think
that's the ultimate sign of confidence that coach Zach Taylor
wants to put in him as the leading back. So
the Bengals would be a team, you know, outside the
normal pecking order in that twenty five to thirty to
one range that I think can match up with any
of the elite powers in the AFC, most notably the
Ravens and Chiefs. So that'd be a team I'd be

(01:04:47):
willing to take a flyer on because when Joe Burrow
gets going and starts playing downhill, they can be as
problematic as anybody. Plus we know they match up extremely
well with Kansas City and wouldn't be intimidated if they
had to go in a playoff game in Airhead.

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
I don't know view Nick Sirianni or boy, so I
want to ask this question. A might ring hollow, but
what's his deal? What's going on there with Nick Sirianni?

Speaker 12 (01:05:07):
You?

Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
Thank god?

Speaker 15 (01:05:08):
I think there are a lot of problems with this
Philadelphia team, and they continue to struggle early on in
games as well, whether it's Jalen Hurts and Kellen Moore
not pulling in the same direction defensively. Today they were
a little bit better, but I think that gets largely
attributed to Cleveland's ineptitude and the fact that the Browns
continue to stay married to the du Deshaun Watson experience
despite it not paying dividends at all. But you look

(01:05:29):
at the pecking order. I mean, I know we mentioned
the NFC Nords, but as far as the NFC East
is concerned, maybe you can make a legitimate case that
it's Washington and everybody else. The Cowboys still a number
of issues they have to sort out, but they'll get
healthier defensively. You know, this is a Giants team that
I think is limited with their offensive capabilities, but when
you add a player like when Malik Neighbors back into
the fold, you can see what they're capable of doing

(01:05:51):
as far as creating.

Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
Some of that balance.

Speaker 15 (01:05:53):
And even you know, Philadelphia, if they can get some
of their offensive issues worked out and trying get their
key weapons integrated in Devonte Smith and AJ Brown, who
are now full goes, you know, maybe they're okay. But
right now it is a muddled mess in the NFC.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, nobody running away with that division, so
they can work through some of their ongoing issues.

Speaker 7 (01:06:13):
Todd, when will we get into a back I need
him back immediately.

Speaker 15 (01:06:18):
I mean the Dolphins continue to say that. You know,
once he comes off ir he's potentially able and ready
to take over the position. Tomorrow night, I'm sure you
will find yourself rooting for the Jets. So both the
Jets and Bills would be three and three. The Dolphins
then only a game back, you know, with an opportunity
to go on the road with a very manageable opponent
next week. I'll be it as a four point underdog

(01:06:39):
to take on the Indianapolis Colta, and you hope coach
McDaniel has been able to figure out exactly what plays
into the strengths and weaknesses of Tyler Huntley. But if
I'm figuring out a game plan, I can't imagine the
Dolphins want to throw out more than ten or fifteen
times against that Colt defensive front. So look for Rahiem
Mostert and Devin h And to have massive days against Indy,
assuming that Miami has a few wrinkles in store for.

Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
Those little Easter eggs.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Todd throws in, Todd, enjoy a great week ahead of us, Buddy.
We always appreciate your insight.

Speaker 15 (01:07:05):
Always a pleasure. But hey, one last thing, boys, neither
one of you wanted to bring up the two college
programs you were for. I didn't happen to catch a
score in Dallas, nor did I happen to see the
score in Provo Arny. So I figure that's the reason
that your Twitter account has been suspended. You decided use
the lord's name in Vain on the holiest of Jewish holidays,
a Jewish quarterback breaking your heart in Provos. So I
figure that all comes full circle.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
Todd, they just suspended my account.

Speaker 7 (01:07:28):
As I said, the Knicks were winning the championship and
they were offended by it.

Speaker 15 (01:07:32):
Well, look, I mean, delusion and misinformation is extremely dangerous
on social media, so I can understand why they decided
to shadow ban you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Accordingly, man, Todd, have a great week, by Ton, Always
a pleasure.

Speaker 15 (01:07:44):
Boys, have a great week.

Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Here he comes rolling into the tairaq dot com studios.
It is Steve de Seger, And as we like to say,
everything is a final.

Speaker 1 (01:07:53):
What's going on?

Speaker 9 (01:07:53):
It is because the vague think you came on the
ice in Vegas is over three and oh, Vegas beating
Anaheim three, and OL Calgary won at Edmonton three, and
OH Dallas beats Seattle and three and OH Winnipeg won
in overtime against Minnesota. And we mentioned it briefly earlier
that NASCAR finish at Charlotte today, Well, the race was
dominated by Kyle Larson sixth victory of the year. Christopher

(01:08:14):
Bell finished second here. In the playoffs, it was the
round of twelve finale. Joey Logano was among those eliminated,
but that, as it turned out, wasn't the finish. Everybody's
going home. Round of eight starts next Sunday Sea in Vegas,
but after post race inspection, Alex Bowman was qualified, so
he's out instead, not Logano. By the way, WNBA Finals

(01:08:36):
Game three and four are Wednesday and Friday at Minnesota.
It's a best of five. It's not going to go
to best to seven till next year. It's tied at
a game apiece. Minnesota won the opener in overtime, but
New York took Game two in Brooklyn eighty to sixty
six Breonna Stewart twenty one points, eighteen thousand. The attendance
again in Brooklyn as for New York yet They've got
ALCS Yankees and NLCS Mets going on for the next

(01:08:58):
week plus. Perhaps the Dodger beat the Mets nine to
nothing this evening. So what, well, I'll give you a
stat for so what First off, the Dodgers getting two
in the first against CODEI Senga, who took the loss.
Any game where the Dodgers score first, not in the first,
just score first in the game. This year, they go
on to win over eighty percent of the time, which.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Is the best may when the other team scored first.

Speaker 9 (01:09:21):
Now, this is the stat that struck me tonight because
I saw the Dodgers joining a list of teams that
have had this large of a shutout to open a
playoff series. And I'm looking at the list and I'm saying,
you know what, none of the teams on this list
actually wound up winning their series. So the Dodgers did
win nine to nothing tonight, But it's only one game

(01:09:42):
to none, and the Dodgers have an all bullpen game
tomorrow at home. That's Game two.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Also, ono is a Mets win for tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
We'll go.

Speaker 9 (01:09:49):
Do you remember when Rick Suckcliffe was on the Cubs
and he was dominating and they got to the playoffs,
and it was the first ever playoff game for the Padres,
and the Cubs beat them thirteen to nothing and Suckcliffe homer.
The Cubs didn't win the series. The Padres went to
the World Series that year, or when the Dodgers were
in the World Series their first one ever in LA
nineteen fifty nine. They lost the opener eleven nothing to

(01:10:11):
the White Sox. White Sox did not win the World Series,
or the nineteen eighty two Cardinals in the World Series.
They dropped Game one ten nothing to the Brewers, but
it was the Cardinals who won the World Series, and
on and on, so this one is hardly over, although
there's a bit of history tied tonight postseason record, evened
by the Dodger pitching staff. It's thirty three straight scoreless innings.

(01:10:33):
Now in the ALCS, the Yankees will host Cleveland games
one and two on Monday and Tuesday nights. By the way,
the seventy six ers are holding Joel Embiid out of
the rest of the preseason due to it shocking Philadelphia's
regular season.

Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
Nice go ahead, it's about a week his career was over.
Oh are yeah, and he almost won the MVP.

Speaker 9 (01:10:53):
Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame today. Thirteen people
including Vince Carter, Chauncey Billips, My Michael Cooper, and Walter
Davis also in the Hall, Simone Augustus, Michelle, Tims, bo
Ryan and others, and including as contributors Jerry West and
Doug Collins. To the NFL game tonight, not worth talking about.
Seventeen to seven Bengals won at the Giants Detroit Detroit Dallas,

(01:11:17):
forty seven to nine wins for Atlanta and the Chargers,
And you mentioned the game in Vegas. Steelers were down
seven to six just before halftime but beat the Raiders
thirty two thirteen. Najee Harris fourteen carries one hundred and
six yards rushing in a score. Chris Boswell four for
four on field goals, including a fifty two yarder back
to you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
Thanks Steve. We'll check back in with Steve coming up
here in just a bit. Let's hit some of these
tweets to the show tonight. Bake Riots after week six,
I know my Colts will never draft a functional quarterback
and will be relegated to retiring veterans till the end
of time.

Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
Well, you got Anthony Richardson. I mean, if he's healthy, but.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
It's just kind of that world where we don't know
when he's going to be back and if he's going
to be healthy.

Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
How many Super Bowls that Andrew Luck have?

Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
Again?

Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
I forgot that would be a big fat in zero.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Oh okay, but I still would have loved to have
had Andrew Luck on my team. Jerry Jones refusing to
make a coaching change right Sminster nobody with Dallas is
a key reason why I've resisted becoming a bandwagon Cowboys fan.
Do you know when you were in Dallas that was
the Wade Phillips run, right?

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
Isn't it kind of weird how Jerry in some instances
will have a rather kind of longer wait. I mean
he gave Jason Garrett forever, right, oh, eight years or something, yeah,
and then other times it would be very kind of quick.
And even though Diad Campbell was terrible, higher he went
five and eleven three straight years.

Speaker 7 (01:12:50):
I think that was emotional. On the Wade Phillips thing.
I forgot what was the game they lost? Was it
at Green Bay or something?

Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
It was like a Monday night football game that were
one and seven.

Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
And they fired a back on the way home.

Speaker 3 (01:13:01):
That's right.

Speaker 7 (01:13:02):
You know, that's something that's emotional that you let the
you know, let your emotions get in the way and
you made a decision based on your emotions. I don't
think you should ever do that, you know, Wade call.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
Ah see Arnie's telling another thing.

Speaker 7 (01:13:16):
No, I don't think that deserved to happen to him.
And I think the whole thing went down real bad.
That's why I'm really not into.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Replacing Midway because it never really does anything for you.

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
And then real quick before we get a break, Paul writes,
it sucks where we it sucks. We live in a
world where Frank Reich is in an NFL coach, but
Nick Sirianni and Jared Mayo is I will I will
say this, for as bad as it's been for New England,
there seems to be a lot of belief in Patriot
Nation and Drake may I know it hasn't gone well

(01:13:51):
for him this season, but they seem to believe in
this dude.

Speaker 7 (01:13:54):
So did you see the crafts coming when they panted
them after he through one of the touchdout baths. Is
it was like that they'd never seen a touchoup pass
before their wife like, oh my god, oh look at that.
I'm like, well, this guy's going to be the start
of the rest of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
That's oh yeah, yeah, he see. He looked pretty good
at times today for the New England Patriots. When we
come back to the tyrack dot Com studios, let's get
you caught up on the all the news and numbers
of the day with the Saga right here on Fox
Sports Radio. All right, it's onny in Plank on a
Fox Sports Sunday of Fox Football Sunday Salo to Steve
de sag who has all the news, numbers and notes

(01:14:29):
that matter what's going on.

Speaker 9 (01:14:30):
Steeve saw a headline from one of the Dodger beat
writers tonight, Bill Plunkett. He said, you know New Yorkers
are always complaining you can't get a good bagel outside
of the city. Well, it was nothing but bagels for
the Mets.

Speaker 7 (01:14:41):
Okay, you know, I thought the Dodgers were showboarding a
little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
They'll get what's.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
Coming to them.

Speaker 9 (01:14:49):
Yeah, Why is Mookie Bets trying to still hit when
the game's all six? Already six? Nat? Yes, why does
he strike out on purpose?

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
The Dodgers went try to dance on their grave like
the Padres did.

Speaker 9 (01:15:00):
Dodgers have thrown three straight shutouts. It ties the longest
streak in postseason history. Although I'll repeat as I said
last segments, anyone who's had this huge of a blowout,
shut out win to open a series has always lost
the series. That's right, Baseball Hit Sure, yes it was
on your Twitter account.

Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
It was number fourteen.

Speaker 9 (01:15:23):
Okay, let's praise the NFC North, shall we, because even
though the Vikings weren't playing today, they're still five and
oh and green Bay got win number four and Detroit
get win number four in dominant fashion. Chicago started the
day getting win number four. They realigned the divisions in
the NFL over twenty years ago. This is the first
time since then that all four of the teams in
a division already have four wins in a season through

(01:15:46):
six weeks. And by the way, we've got five and oh, Minnesota,
you know they were on a bye. They'll have a
nice matchup coming up. It's it's with Detroit, is it not.
It's at Minnesota next Sunday.

Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
Four and one.

Speaker 9 (01:15:58):
Detroit on the road in that Chicago game at London.
The win over Jacksonville. It was thirty five sixteen. We
had rookie Caleb Williams throwing four touchdown passes. If you
add up the rookie quarterbacks. Just today there were twelve
touchdown passes by rookies, the most in a single weekend
of the Super Bowl era.

Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
To Mattie stinks right, wow.

Speaker 9 (01:16:21):
Actually for a guy selected number one overall, he's off
to the best start as far as wins. To win
four of your first six career starts in the whole
Common Draft era, you know, the Super Bowl era. First
rookie quarterback today. Look, that was almost eighty percent completion percentage.
And Baltimore is still killing it on the ground, and
they won four in a row, and they beat Washington

(01:16:42):
thirty to twenty three. Derrick Henry two touchdown runs. This
team on the ground one of the rare teams in
the Super Bowl era. To every game your first six
games of a season, the team has at least one
hundred and fifty rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Only the nineteen seventy one Raiders had started a season
like that. Baltimore has now as well, and the streak

(01:17:04):
is still alive. I've mentioned this on other Sunday shows.
It's up to thirty nine straight games for the Ravens
with at least one hundred yards rushing. As a team.
The Ravens have the NFL record set a few years
ago of forty three straight games with at least one
hundred yards rushing. That tied the Steelers record from Franco
Harrison Company back in the seventies, also forty three straight.

(01:17:26):
The Pittsburgh win at Vegas was thirty two to thirteen
Justin Fields quarterback with two touchdown runs. He had eleven
carries fifty nine yards TJ Watt with a couple of
forced fumbles. Meanwhile, for Vegas, Alexander Madison fourteen carries thirty
three yards and a touchdown, but out were running back
some Mere White wide receivers DeVante Adams, of course, and

(01:17:46):
Jacoby Myers. The Raiders have the worst turnover margin in
the league so far nine it's minus ten. Now, oh wow,
they had three today. So they were actually ahead seven
to six against Pittsburgh just before halftime, but blowout loss
on the scoreboard. As it turned out, Atlanta was winning
at Carolina twenty five twenty late third quarter thirty eight

(01:18:08):
twenty the final. The Panthers Andy Dalton two touchdowns but
two interceptions as well Carolina with ten penalties. This Carolina
defense was allowing thirty three points a game, easily the
worst in the NFL, and then they topped themselves, allowing
thirty eight oh in this one. So Panthers are one
and five. Falcons now four and two as is Tampa Bay.

(01:18:28):
Tampa Bay blew and early seventeen to nothing lead at
New Orleans, but still won the game fifty one twenty seven.
Baker Mayfield four touchdowns, three interceptions, and running back Rashad
White was out with a foot injury, so you know.
Sean Tucker of course, fourteen carries one hundred and thirty
six yards in a score. The Becks had nearly six
hundred yards of offense today and twelve penalties. They really

(01:18:51):
made it interesting, but they wound up winning. Chris god
Went eleven catches one hundred and twenty five yards in
a score. The bad news for the Saints more bad news,
I should say. They were already missing quarterback Derek Carr
with the oblique injury, tight end Tasom Hill out again
with a rib injury. Their offense amazingly not the same
without him historically, and wide receiver Chris Olave left this

(01:19:12):
game with a concussion. And New Orleans is playing Thursday
against Denver and the Saints have lost four in a row.
Denver lost the home game twenty three sixteen to the Chargers.
They were down twenty three to nothing early in the fourth.
You knew this was well. You guessed this was going
to be low scoring because the Chargers were only allowing
about twelve points a game. Denver was only allowing about

(01:19:33):
fourteen points a game. Chargers play next weekend, one of
the Monday games. They'll be at Arizona. Bad news for
the Broncos. Star defensive back Patricks Ter Tan left early
with a concussion.

Speaker 3 (01:19:43):
JK.

Speaker 9 (01:19:43):
Dobbins for the Chargers twenty five carries, ninety six yards
and a touchdown, and the injury the Lions defensive end
Aiden Hutchinson carted off leg injury, went in an air cast,
carted off the field to the ambulance, to the hospital
emergency surgery, staying overnight in a Dallas area hospital. Tibia fracture.

Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
Thanks Steve, Hey, don't forget.

Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
Try to put the first two hours in a digestible
nugget for you. First, Arnie's lost his Twitter feed. He
got suspended, got suspended. The reason let me see here,
make sure I say it correctly, violating their rules against
evading suspension.

Speaker 3 (01:20:55):
Yes, I don't know what that means.

Speaker 7 (01:20:57):
It means that I picked the Knicks to win the
championship this year, that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:21:01):
Though. I did see your boy to Devincenzo was talking a.

Speaker 7 (01:21:04):
Little I saw that Brunson's father wanted to get in
his grill a little bit. They were john back and forth.
Stevencenzo was actually jawing at him. Was Thibodau your boy Tip. Yes, yeah,
and he goes, that's what you get for putting somebody
in charge or something. I really wasn't sure. It's I
guess it's inside stuff, you know, basically traded.

Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
He wanted to stay with his guys.

Speaker 7 (01:21:29):
Well, actually there was a report that said he wasn't
really all I mean, he liked it, but it wasn't
all that enamored about it and didn't mind the trade
at all. So I'm really not sure. Well I know
why he's so about it, bent out of shape about.

Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
Because then when you get there and you get around him,
you're pissed because like, dang, I missed these guys. I
want to be here. And when you feel like it's
one guy that's causing all the problems right right right,
that might that might lead to a little bit more frustration.
Also because you think Karl Anthony Towns is I.

Speaker 7 (01:22:01):
Already put my time off for the Knicks parade, he said,
so I can't finish, hut Tips, I can't finish. So
he was you know, I guess Tibod almost said that
he's not a finisher or something, but yeah he was.

Speaker 1 (01:22:13):
He was a little upset, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
But that's why Arnie lost his Twitter feed because he
picked the Knicks to win a title, So fake news
out there being spread.

Speaker 3 (01:22:20):
Number two.

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
I know that this isn't necessarily hot takey, but neither
one of us think coaching changes help at this point
in the season. So I don't think we're sitting here
calling for Mike McCarthy to be fired. Maybe it's something
you consider in New Orleans or Jacksonville, but I don't
necessarily know, especially Jacksonville, if they're going anywhere, even if

(01:22:43):
they make it go right.

Speaker 7 (01:22:44):
And if you want a big name, you know a
big name is not gonna come in halfway through anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
So what are you gonna do? Change halfway and then
change again.

Speaker 3 (01:22:54):
No, don't think that will take much sense either.

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
It just just did.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
Meanwhile, the other kind of point that we were getting
to and chatting about earlier was Nick Siriana. Nick Sirianni
excuse me versus the fans. Now, he didn't say too
terribly much about it. He was kind of coy whenever
he had his press conference. Hold on, Nick, this is
what he said to the press afterwards.

Speaker 5 (01:23:17):
I was just excited, just excited to get the win. Yeah,
it's hard to win in this league, so we're excited
to get the win.

Speaker 2 (01:23:22):
Did you see that little thing he did? He kind
of winked at the reporter too. He goes, yeah, I
just excited for the way to give a little wink
like it was an inside thing between those two and
no one noticed it, as it cracked me up.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
I didn't see that, but I did notice he had
his son with him, right, I have brought his kid
of the press.

Speaker 3 (01:23:37):
I'm wondering if he.

Speaker 7 (01:23:38):
Did that so he wouldn't get a lot of heat
from the media, you know, pressigan, Well, what was said?
Why did you say it? You know, blah blah blah.
I think they were easy on him, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
And then I guess the other topic that we were
getting into is just ain't Hutchinson's injury and just how
bad that's gonna be for the Lions going forward.

Speaker 1 (01:23:56):
Here was Dan Campbell afterwards.

Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
Hate for hutch It's tough. He's in good hands right now,
He's being taken care of. He'll stay back here, you know.
Obviously he's gonna be down for a little while, so
that that's tough.

Speaker 7 (01:24:08):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
It's hard when you lose somebody like him, But we'll
know a lot more after this, and obviously wish him
the best.

Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
And it was a day of blowouts Bears thirty five,
Jaguars sixteen, Packers thirty four, Arizona thirteen. The average margin
of victory before the Sunday night game was sixteen points
two scores. If you can bine all the games together,
it's just an ugly day overall.

Speaker 7 (01:24:30):
And you never got the Roman numule three, which the
commissioner said. And you know in certain terms that when
they go to eighteen games, they're gonna look at the
moving the.

Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
Super Bowl overseas. I thought you'd be living about something
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
You know, well, I guess I'm in that group that
doesn't think it's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (01:24:48):
Oh, it's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
I mean, just like it's gonna be moved to pay
per view too.

Speaker 7 (01:24:54):
That's gonna happen too, Chris. But you know the fact
the fact that you I don't think it's going to
happen overseas, I could see. I mean even the commissioners
warning us now that it's going to happen. And I
think that's a shame. Look that it's already priced up
for the fans anyway, but moving it to London or
Germany or wherever, man, that's just not right.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
I don't think that's good at all.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
But again, I think you're reading into his quote a
little bit. Okay, this is just me because I'll tell
you what I would. I would rebel against this. I
think this would be a BS move. I get you
want to grow the game globally and you're making a
lot of money. But he said, we've always traditionally tried
to play a super Bowl in an NFL city, that

(01:25:41):
it was always sort of a reward for the cities
that have NFL franchises. But things change. It wouldn't surprise
me at all if it happens one day. So that's
not all saying that's not him saying we're moving it internationally,
like you're saying that's him. I just think floating it
out there to test balloon it.

Speaker 7 (01:26:01):
I think there's more to it than that. I don't
even know why he brought it up to begin with, but.

Speaker 3 (01:26:05):
Because he was asked about it.

Speaker 7 (01:26:07):
Well, if that ever does happen, I think there will
be a lot of people like you that then they'll
start getting upset.

Speaker 2 (01:26:13):
Now, why it was like Why did he bring it up?
Because he was asked about it, That's why he brought
it up. You could come up with a better answer
than that he's shot. Now. I want to read this
that the idea of having a team overseas has been
shot down and this wasn't that flat out yeah, it's
not gonna happen. But it was also a fan form

(01:26:36):
in London, So I think sometimes you play to the crowd.

Speaker 1 (01:26:40):
That you that makes sense, That makes sense.

Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
I don't think that he's sitting in Pittsburgh and it's
like we're gonna move this thing to Ireland.

Speaker 7 (01:26:47):
I mean, no, no, But I thought it was like
maybe you know somebody for like the Chicago media.

Speaker 1 (01:26:52):
And there's like that's never gonna happen.

Speaker 7 (01:26:54):
Stop and we're never moving to Super Bowl, you know
a lot of the United States.

Speaker 1 (01:26:58):
But I didn't. I didn't know it was, you know,
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
We haven't talked about angry wide receivers today. Now as
it stands, DeVante Adams is still a Raider, and there
were rumors that he might be happy staying in Vegas,
which I don't think is true at all.

Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
I think that's the factor.

Speaker 2 (01:27:15):
Raiders have only been offered, what do we hear a
fourth round pick so far for DeVante Adams? And the
main reason is because his contract would be such an
anchor in twenty twenty five. I mean, he's doing a
lot of money in twenty five. But add another angry
wide receiver to the list, Arnie. As if things couldn't
be headed more south for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Listen to
Calvin Ridley, what.

Speaker 6 (01:27:36):
Was kind of off that resulted in targets for no catches?

Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
I had targets in the what part of the game?
A targets? Fourth quarter? A lot of them, all right, Dan,
so say something in the beginning of the game too.
They'd be like, yeah, crazy.

Speaker 16 (01:27:51):
With me, And so I'm just you know it is
yeah today, but I gotta get the ball and the
in the game so I could be in the game,
in here with the team so I could play well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
Also, he's paid like a wide receiver one. But man,
he's sure is heck hasn't been at has he?

Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
No? Not at all? And I could see the frustration,
and I don't take Jaguars.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
I'm sorry, Titans, Titans, my bad. I apologized. That was
a year ago.

Speaker 3 (01:28:18):
My bad.

Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
I didn't.

Speaker 7 (01:28:19):
I didn't know how many times he was targeted, though, Chris,
do you have that number? Because I I know he
had no catches and I'm like, wow, they they just
went away from him. But I didn't know he was
targeted so much the way he was making it out
to be.

Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
Well, most of them came in that and said fourth
quarter that he was talking about, and according to the
box score, he was targeted.

Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
Let's eight team here eight times? Wow? Eight times? Nine times? No?
Eight times?

Speaker 5 (01:28:44):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
Yeah, eight times? So he was targeted eight times and
he's complaining about it.

Speaker 7 (01:28:49):
Huh, how do you not catch any of them out
of the eight where they're all bad throws?

Speaker 4 (01:28:54):
Or what?

Speaker 7 (01:28:54):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:28:55):
Man?

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
How is how is will Levis? I was listening to.

Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
Gosh, Mark Willard and Ephram Salam before we came on,
and Willard had brought up you know who's been humbled
more so far this year of guys that we were
pretty high on, and he said will Levis. And there
was this moment where I was sitting there.

Speaker 1 (01:29:12):
Like will Levis?

Speaker 2 (01:29:13):
What Will And then you're right, oh, yeah, that's right.
He's starting for the Titans right now, Arnie. He went
sixteen of twenty seven for ninety five yards.

Speaker 3 (01:29:23):
Today.

Speaker 2 (01:29:24):
Now, listen, I covered two teams that are not very
good offensively, Okay, I cover the Sooners of Oklahoma who
suddenly can't play offense, and the Raiders who are going
with a dude that played quarterback at Purdue and his
last name.

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
Is in Breeze.

Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
Will Levers Will Levis Arny averaged three point five yards
per completetion.

Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
That's almost impossible.

Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
I don't even know how you do that with an
offensive minded head coach. So yeah, as if things couldn't
get worse for the Titans, Calvin Ridley is now mad.
Only eight targets today and no catches. All right, are
you ready to dive into what we know? I think
we kind of we caught up on everything throughout the
first two hours.

Speaker 7 (01:30:01):
No something else to add, No, No, I'm ready, goes,
I've we're a few six weeks now, and we've learned
a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:30:06):
There's no doubt about that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:07):
All right, kick us off Onnie after week six of
the National Football League.

Speaker 1 (01:30:11):
I know this. Oh, let me just start with a
playoff thing.

Speaker 7 (01:30:14):
And I know it's still only to look at this,
but man, it is still wide open. I wanted to
see where my Dolphins were standing. You know, if they
were still mathematically or if they're pretty much you know,
forget about it.

Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
It's not going to happen.

Speaker 7 (01:30:25):
Only the teams that have that one win in the
AFC they're eliminated.

Speaker 1 (01:30:30):
Everybody else is fine. They can still make a run
at the thing.

Speaker 7 (01:30:33):
Even Cincinnati at two and four, if you think they
Todd thinks they could turn it around. Even them at
two and four can still get into the playoffs. So
it's still wide open. After Week six, I didn't think
there'd be so many teams. I thought they'd be more eliminated.
But four in the AFC and two in the NFC.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
All right, here's this is kind of I know, but
I need your help right that little confusing. But after
week six in the NFL season, I know this. I
see a lot of teams that are in that battle
for the first round pick.

Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
You've got six teams with.

Speaker 2 (01:31:14):
One win right now, New England, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Carolina, the
Rams in Tennessee. But Arnie, after Week six, and being
someone that's watched a lot of the NFL, I know this,
I don't know if there's a quarterback right now worth
tanking for.

Speaker 3 (01:31:28):
I agree with you that right.

Speaker 2 (01:31:30):
I don't even know as we sit here today if
I could definitively tell you who I think would be
the top overall quarterback. Now, we overdraft quarterbacks like crazy,
and I watched quinn Ewer as a deal in the second, third,
and fourth quarters on Saturday. But between yours, cam Ward

(01:31:51):
Shardoor Sanders, Carson Beck, I mean, there's four potential first
round quarterbacks, but I don't know if I would take any,
give them ahead of Travis Hunter or heck, maybe even
Mason Graham or Will Johnson. The cornerback out of Michigan,
your boy, your boy, Temac Tedoro McMillan. I think he

(01:32:11):
might end up being a top five or six pick
by the time we get around to the draft.

Speaker 1 (01:32:15):
Sea, so hey, he may after week six.

Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
I know this, if you're thinking about, oh geez, guys,
we're one and five, let's just tank.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
I don't know if there's a quarterback in this draft
worth tanking for them. I thought you were going to
get Shador Sanders somehow.

Speaker 3 (01:32:28):
I don't know how that's the Raiders. Yeah, I do too.

Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
A couple weeks ago that Deon Sanders cut made the
round Coach Prime. The cut made the round where everyone
thought he was trying to steer Chador away from the
Raiders because they only played the cut where he's like, no, no, no, no, no,
Vegas doesn't need anything. But the question was should Las
Vegas be a team that goes out and gets quarterback
to help him out this season? And Deon's point was no, no, no,
they're good because he wants him to be bad because

(01:32:54):
I think they want him to go to Vegas.

Speaker 3 (01:32:56):
That's just my opinion.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
I think they look at the marketing opportunities, they look
at the players. I think they feel like that'd be
a good spot for him. But well, when's Vegas not
a good spot?

Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
I'll get you.

Speaker 2 (01:33:06):
I want to go to Vacas whatever. You're terrible at
picking games like you.

Speaker 7 (01:33:09):
Oh thank you. Let me get to this week six.
I know this, and let me tell you, it took
me all six weeks to finally figure this out.

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
Yes, you wore right.

Speaker 7 (01:33:17):
Kate Williams Man and the Chicago Bears, they are turning
it around, and they're talking.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
It around fast.

Speaker 7 (01:33:22):
I mean, the people in Chicago just gotta be beside themselves,
happy over the moon or over something like this, because
when he first started, we're like, Okay, here's your Hall
of Famer, here are the interceptions, here's the ninety five
yards passing.

Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
He looks good, Chris, he looks real good. He looks
like a skilled QB.

Speaker 7 (01:33:41):
I can't wait to see what he's gonna do in
year two and year three. You get in here, that's
when you improve your best from the first of the second.

Speaker 1 (01:33:48):
He's gonna be phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (01:33:51):
Yep, yeah, I think it's gonna be really good.

Speaker 2 (01:33:53):
I liked him from the first time I saw him play,
and I'm not trying to be that guy. But come on,
remember look at all the USC losing and the you
know what was well. There can be doubt from people,
but I think you could at least have my back
on saying I never doubted the dude. He had a
terrible defense when he was at USC. That was his
coach's fault, not his fault. And he's just he's special man,

(01:34:15):
and he's got We can make fun of the painting
of the fingernails, we can make fun of how he
loves shopping whatever, you guys need to feel better about it.
But he's just he's funny. He's a good I think
he's a good locker room guy from what I've seen.
And the dude can ball. How about this? I'm so
impressed with it that after week six, I know this.

(01:34:38):
I don't think the Vikings are gonna win the North.
And they're five and zero on the season right now,
and I don't think it's gonna be the Lions. I
think it's gonna be the Bears.

Speaker 1 (01:34:47):
Oh, you're going against the lines? Was it the injury
to Hutchinson's that? What's up?

Speaker 15 (01:34:50):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
I got a little drunk. Let me slow down a bit,
all right? After week six? One more from me after
week six, Arnie. I know this. This might be an
jerky I might be a prisoner of moment, but I
don't think the Cowboys are going to the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (01:35:03):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
And that's been a heck of a run for them
under Mike McCarthy since he took over. Right, what eleven
and five, twelve and five, eleven to six? Whatever it
is the last couple of seasons. But I gotta tell
you something, man, that that was bad, and that was
bad to where it doesn't look like there's an end
in sight. And I'm a homer, right and just I'm
gonna pull back from my team. So I'm like, oh,

(01:35:24):
they got a chance. And I finally learned today watching
the Raiders offense and then watching my Sooners offense this weekend.
There is a point where you just have to step
back and say, we're not very.

Speaker 1 (01:35:35):
Good, Arnie.

Speaker 2 (01:35:36):
I think we've reached that point with the Cowboys. I
just don't think they're very good right now.

Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:35:41):
That doesn't mean they can't finish the season nine to eight,
and you can feel good about a winning record, but
I don't know if that's gonna get you in the
playoffs right now in the NFC. So after Week six,
I know this, the Cowboys are not going to the playoffs,
all right, find.

Speaker 7 (01:35:54):
If you're gonna do that, then I'm gonna say this,
I don't know if San Francisco's gonna waltz right into
the playoffs and win that division.

Speaker 1 (01:36:00):
Have you seen their schedule?

Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
Wait a minute, you told me that division was over.
You told me the Niners had already won the division.

Speaker 1 (01:36:07):
Yeah, before the season started.

Speaker 11 (01:36:09):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:36:09):
I didn't know.

Speaker 7 (01:36:10):
They have so many injuries though, And okay, you listen
to the schedule. Coming up, they play Kansas City, Dallas
at Tampa, the Seahawks at Green Bay at Buffalo the Bears.
That's not an easy road in the next six to
seven games out there.

Speaker 1 (01:36:28):
It could be some tough time for San Francisco coming up.

Speaker 3 (01:36:30):
Now, you know, I had to laugh.

Speaker 2 (01:36:33):
I popped up Twitter and nature point tweeted what I
learned this week Even in a WNBA finals takes a
backseat to NASCAR highlights. Well, it's pretty quick how the
WNBA went from my gosh, everyone's going to talk about
this thing.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
It's going to be amazing to wait, who's.

Speaker 1 (01:36:47):
Playing right now? What happened?

Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
What's going on? Wild?

Speaker 2 (01:36:50):
What happens whenever Caitlin Clark ends I'm getting knocked out
of the playoffs? All right, So there's our takes after
week six? What say you at almost gave your Twitter feed?
Will you ever see these?

Speaker 7 (01:37:00):
If I I'm hoping tomorrow or like in a couple
of weeks I'll get it back.

Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
And Arnie got suspended from Twitter, so you can try,
but at stinking genius to fan at Fox Sports Radio
hit us up after a week six you know this,
We'll dive into your takes next on Fox Sports Radio.
All right, We're coming to you live from the tire
rack dot Com studios, tire rack dot Com the way
tire buying should be.

Speaker 3 (01:37:26):
So you know, as a fan of a team that stinks.

Speaker 2 (01:37:29):
I spent the entire commercial break looking at twenty twenty
five mock drafts. And it's funny because we talked about
there's not a quarterback that you would tank for, right
and just looking I'm just gonna tell you right now,
this is psycho stuff. But on October fourteenth, if you're
looking at a mock draft, you're just your team must

(01:37:52):
be awful, right, But I said there's not a quarterback
worth taking number one overall. Right now, I'm looking in
one of these from a draft site that has five
quarterbacks going in the top seven.

Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Picks in the draft.

Speaker 1 (01:38:06):
Oh geez, Yeah, I don't think that's gonna be right.

Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
Yeah, but I don't think Jaln milro is gonna be
a top five pick, but who knows.

Speaker 3 (01:38:13):
All right, let's get to your tweets. Calbird Rights guys.

Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
Rumor has it Arnie's picks were so bad they finally
suspended his account.

Speaker 1 (01:38:22):
Can you confirm or deny that.

Speaker 7 (01:38:23):
Other than that could be a reason. But I'm back
above five hundred in the NFL. It's college picks that
I'm like sixteen games on their five hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:38:32):
Stop picking college games.

Speaker 1 (01:38:33):
Then I'm picking at forty.

Speaker 3 (01:38:36):
That's not good.

Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
But and then Calbird ads after Week six. It all
makes sense now that Jerry Jones didn't go after any
value free agents because he wanted to pay one player
one quarterback salary has destroyed the team from winning. Happy Birthday,
Jerry Jones.

Speaker 7 (01:38:53):
He could have there's a lot of truth in that.
I mean, they were gonna have to pay that go
a lot of money. Sure, really never out and got
himself the big name. They didn't want to get Derrick
Henry Ripers. They said they couldn't afford him, but they
never contacted him. So, yeah, the wonder if it was
all about getting Dac his money or what.

Speaker 2 (01:39:12):
Yeah, Julian Wrights, I learned this in Week one. Dak
Prescott is not a leader on the field for the
Dallas Scott. Wow, I remember telling both of you guys
this in week one.

Speaker 1 (01:39:24):
They beat the Cowboys, they beat Cleveland in week one.

Speaker 2 (01:39:27):
It was a mistake to give Dak Prescott that contract.

Speaker 1 (01:39:31):
It was a mistake.

Speaker 7 (01:39:33):
Well, I'm not gonna argue with that. It could have
been a mistake and maybe he's not the quarterback that's
gonna lead him. But I mean they've won that division,
They've won what eleven twelve games, and now they're just
off to that three and three start.

Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
But they look awful at it. That's the problem.

Speaker 2 (01:39:48):
So bad nature boys been on fire tonight, he writes
after week six. I know this, Ben Mahler will terrorize
San Diego Padre fans until the Dodgers get eliminated and
not a home it's sooner.

Speaker 1 (01:40:01):
I'm glad the Padres are gone.

Speaker 7 (01:40:02):
You talk about a bunch of guys that are not
very likable, it's the Padres, that's for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
Outside of San Diego. Now, I don't know why I
tend to like Machado. I like Manny Machada. I don't
know why. Just something about him. I dig it. But
they I gotta tell you something, man I was talking
about this with Patrick Sweek, our producer, during the break.
This Dodger team seems different because in years past, whenever

(01:40:28):
you have a team that kind of danced on their
grave like the Padres did.

Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
And what was that game three?

Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
Yeah, when Tatis was yelling at the crowd and hag. Yeah,
everything that was going on with the ball throwing into
the dugout. Dodger teams in years past would kind of
fold a little bit, not a little bit, a lot
of bit. And maybe Dave Roberts knew what he was
doing whenever he brought up Man, I don't like that,

(01:40:56):
and it would seem like a minor thing with the
ball being thrown into the dugout. Because I'm telling you what, Arnie,
I know it's not a football topic. But the Dodgers
showed some wavos, they showed some marbles, which is something
this team hasn't shown in the postseason, maybe even since
the World Series run. Whenever they didn't have to worry
about going on the road, they tended to fold a
little bit. And I don't know, man, I maybe the

(01:41:19):
Padres brought it out in them. So, yes, did the
Padres get a little carried away in their celebration, Absolutely
they did. But I think it woke something up in
the Dodgers staff.

Speaker 1 (01:41:30):
Remember when it was out there in left field, pretended
like he.

Speaker 7 (01:41:32):
Had got Yeah, you didn't know if he had cut
the ball or not.

Speaker 1 (01:41:35):
That was kind of crazy too.

Speaker 2 (01:41:37):
Yeah, Eric writes tell Arnie he can cancel his vacation
for the NBA Finals. Karl Anthony Towns is not a winner.
He's the softest seven footer in the history of the NBA. Sorry, Arnie,
another season with no championships, much like me here in Minnesota. No,
there's a Timberwolves fan who knows what, are you gonna
toughen him up?

Speaker 7 (01:41:57):
Well, if he is a little bit soft, that tie.
But he's got the right team around him to see.
That's the difference. He didn't have the right team around
him up there in Minnesota. So I'm gonna keep my
vacation in June so I can go down to New
York and see the New York Knicks parade.

Speaker 2 (01:42:12):
Brandon writes, I know this, wait, hold on, I know
this is beating a dead horse. But after Week six
the Raiders are so bad they have more players on
ir than they have takeaways. Right now, they are doomed
to suck for the rest of eternity. There is a
way out, but they're too desponded to see it and

(01:42:32):
act on it.

Speaker 7 (01:42:33):
Ever, yet, if you had won and the game was closed,
you would have been what at five hundred, right?

Speaker 2 (01:42:39):
I have a very unpopular take right now. Yes, I
really don't think they're as bad as their results are indicating.
They just have a very slim margin for air.

Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
I mean, you can't.

Speaker 2 (01:42:50):
I'm seeing this Mike Pro team and my college team
are mirroring each other right now. It's frightening where if
you make one mistake on offense, gonna pay and you
just you can't turn the ball over. Oklahoma turned Arnie.
Oklahoma did not allow Texas to have a first down
in the first quarter on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (01:43:11):
Not a first at that point. They got the Here's
a wild stat for you that I've been looking up
during the show.

Speaker 3 (01:43:17):
If you want me to get angry. Uh oh you.

Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
Starting field position on their first three drives, the Texas
forty five, the Oklahoma forty nine, and the Oklahoma thirty
seven all really good field position.

Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:43:29):
Do you know when they finally made a had a
snap inside the red zone the fourth quarter?

Speaker 1 (01:43:35):
Oh jeez, that's how bad.

Speaker 3 (01:43:37):
Their offense was during this game.

Speaker 2 (01:43:39):
They started on the Texas forty five, their own forty nine,
and their own thirty seven, and they didn't have a
damn snap in the red zone until the fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (01:43:48):
But the Raiders are like that too. There's just there's
no margin for air.

Speaker 2 (01:43:53):
And when you turn the football over like the Sooners
did twice and like the Raiders did, what do we
come up with this Seger three times today?

Speaker 1 (01:44:01):
You're not gonna win football game. What do you like
in the Texas Georgia game?

Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
Texas? I think Texas is really good. I think they
I think they've got a good offensive line. But I
will say, do you see Kirby Smart pushed the Mississippi
State quarterback?

Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
No, I didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (01:44:15):
Kirby's got a little bit of that edge. Yeah, I'll
send you the I would send it to you on Twitter,
but I don't have that.

Speaker 1 (01:44:22):
Yeah, but yeah, he was the guy was walking.

Speaker 2 (01:44:25):
Kirby was walking down the sideline and he was just
had made a play and he was out of balance.
He just shoved him right out of the way. Here's
here's one more. Here's one more. All right, then we'll
get to sagre In here for his final update. Colin Wrights,
after two seasons and six weeks, I know this. Nobody
won the Russell Wilson trade. The Broncos got a bad

(01:44:46):
player and a bad contract. But for all the players
in draft picks the Seahawks Scott. They have five more
wins and one playoff loss. Both teams have new head coaches,
but maybe bo Nicks has a little bit more upside
than Geno Smith. Hey, we know who won the Texans
Deshaun Watson trade, right, The Texans won that, the Browns

(01:45:08):
lost it. This will be an interesting one between the
Seahawks and the Denver Nugget of.

Speaker 1 (01:45:13):
Dinver nuggets, the Denver Broncos will look.

Speaker 2 (01:45:15):
Back on over the next five or six years because
if Boenix ends up being a dude, Okay, you can
pull back and say, well, it was a minor setback
to a major comeback. But I don't know, man, I
don't know who really ended up putting that trade. Seahawks
got some pretty good draft capital in.

Speaker 1 (01:45:31):
It could be Pittsburgh, doy Pandam like two million a year.
What it's done.

Speaker 11 (01:45:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:45:34):
What if the field struggles with turnovers as the season progresses, Yeah,
Wilson gets in there and he bawls out.

Speaker 1 (01:45:41):
That'll be interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:45:42):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:45:42):
We got more tweets to get to, but we haven't
ended or saved this season yet. On Fox Sports Radio,
we'll do that coming up in a bit before Steve
de Seger is in the house.

Speaker 3 (01:45:51):
A final look at what's trending. What's going on?

Speaker 9 (01:45:53):
Steve, Hello, again, you mentioned the Longhorns. Texas is still
number one in the new polls. Oregon Oregon action number two,
Penn State number three, Ohio state filled in number four
in AP and Georgia is number five, Arizona in top ten. Yeah,
I scoured, couldn't find them. Ah Georgia at Texas this weekend.
LSU's up to number eight, Tennessee down to eleven, and

(01:46:13):
Old Miss fell to number eighteen. And then guess what
to finish out the top twenty five Army number twenty three,
Michigan number twenty four, Navy number twenty five.

Speaker 1 (01:46:24):
First time since like nineteen sixty or something.

Speaker 9 (01:46:26):
They're both in the rankings together, correct And in fact
it's six and OH Army and five and OH Navy.
They've not each been undefeated this late in a season
since nineteen forty five, a war year. This Friday night
on Fox TV, it'll be number two Oregon at Purdue.
As far as the NFL four teams are on a
bye this weekend, Kansas City five and oh next week

(01:46:48):
will be at San Francisco, Minnesota's five and oh i'd
mentioned they're going to be hosting four and one Detroit
next Sunday. Also off today, those Dolphins averaging twelve points
a game. The one in four Rams were off. It's
Rams hosting the Raiders next week. In La. I had
mentioned how good the NFC North is. It's a combined
seventeen and five record for those teams. First time in

(01:47:10):
NFL history that a division has had a seven to
fifty winning percentage this late weeks, week six or later
in a season. And last, add on all that Baltimore rushing,
I didn't mention Lamar Jackson. Today he became the number
two guy on the list of quarterback career rushing yards.
He passed Cam Newton. He's about five hundred yards behind
Michael Vick for number one for career rushing yards by

(01:47:34):
a quarterback.

Speaker 7 (01:47:35):
With all the old quarterbacks like Fred Tarkington and Bob Avellini,
those guys didn't have yards.

Speaker 9 (01:47:40):
What that was scrambling, not rushing, That's true. Fran Tarkan
would run three times back and forth across the field
sideways and then throw it deep.

Speaker 2 (01:47:50):
Wow. Okay, find another show that we'll bring up Fran
Tarkin who was the other guy, Bob a Bob.

Speaker 9 (01:47:56):
Abalini, both old well, not NFC North, but the exactly
with Vikings Tarkenton. Are you guys aware that the NHL
has been on TNT for a few years and that
umbrella of TNT Sports has the American League playoffs as
well this year? These are two of their properties. They're
apparently not going to have the NBA after the coming season,

(01:48:18):
but they're TV ratings for the season opener, the game
to open the season Rangers Penguins one Wednesday night, it
was under five hundred thousand viewers national Wow, lowest rated
season opener since they got the NHL a few years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:48:34):
I'll get more from my mini series, that's for sure.

Speaker 9 (01:48:37):
You're getting more on Twitter right now. The American League
postseason is averaging three million viewers for TNT Sports, by
the way, but Fox got seven million for the Dodgers
Padres finale on Friday Night. That's the largest audience Fox
has had for any TV show on a Friday Night
since the World Series a year ago, Larger than any

(01:48:57):
of the Friday Night College Football or the WA or
anything like that. So looking forward to seeing what the
ratings are when it's Dodgers Mets and a full series.
The Dodgers shut out the Mets in the open or
nine to nothing tonight. La has now pitched thirty three
straight scoreless innings in this postseason, tying an MLB postseason record.
But Game two comes up quickly, also on Fox TV.

(01:49:19):
It'll be Monday afternoon, four pm Eastern Time, Games three
and four Wednesday and Thursday nights in New York. By
the way, in Game two, the Mets will be starting
pitcher Sean Mania, but for La, it's a bullpen game.
The Dodgers are without lefty reliever Alex Vesia in this series,
a guy who's ERA for the season was one point
seven to six, but he injured his side in the

(01:49:40):
clincher against the Padres. Second baseman Gavin Lux left tonight's
game with a hip injury. Shortstop Miguel Rojas of the
Dodgers is out for the series with a groin injury.
Kevin Kiermeyer on the roster, now made a nice catch
as a sub in center field for spaseman Freddie Freeman,
still continuing to start despite the ankle injury. For the Mets,
reliever Adam ont of v you know, not on the

(01:50:00):
roster this series. Rookie infielder Luis an Hellacunya is still
active even within fielder Jeff mcneilbeck. By the way, the
top two pay rolls in Major League Baseball this year
were the Mets and the Yankees, the only teams over
three hundred million dollars, with Houston third on the list.
The Yankees will host the first two games of the
ALCS Monday and Tuesday nights against Cleveland. The Yankees Game

(01:50:24):
one starter Carlos Rodon against Alex codg Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (01:50:28):
What do you think, Yankees Dodgers.

Speaker 7 (01:50:29):
You don't think of Reggie Jackson sticking his big fat
butt out that.

Speaker 9 (01:50:33):
Ball way yes the year after the three home run game,
or Reggie losing the ball in the sun at Dodger State.

Speaker 1 (01:50:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:50:41):
Absolutely, Cleveland still has to say these are the top
two seeds in the al Cleveland just eliminated Detroit Saturday
in the ALDS. Kyle Larson the NASCAR winner at Charlotte's
w NBA Finals. By the way, it's one game apiece
in a best of five after New York took Game
two over Minnesota. For the record, just as exciting was

(01:51:02):
the NFL Sunday Night football game tonight. Cincinnati was up
seven to nothing third quarter at the Giants, eventually seventeen
to seven the final. The Giants last three drives missed
a forty seven yard field goal incomplete on fourth and two,
missed a forty five yard field goal. Just the first half.
There were nine punts total. Wow enough said. Detroit ripped

(01:51:23):
Dallas forty seven to nine. Jared Goff three touchdown passes.
Cowboys committed five turnovers. The injury Lions star defensive end
Aiden Hutchinson carted off with a tibia fracture.

Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
Back to you, great stuff, heys, a great week, buddy,
can't wait till next Sunday Night. And we should go
ahead and add everything good with Jim Harbar right Steve
from you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:51:43):
And it has.

Speaker 9 (01:51:44):
Happened before in a primetime game with the Niners about
a decade ago. It has been a thing. I mean,
it hasn't been in the last decade that I recall publicly,
you know, sideline thing, but it is a thing in
his life.

Speaker 3 (01:51:56):
Good stuff to see that he's okay.

Speaker 9 (01:51:57):
The heart heart murmur, the heart skip.

Speaker 3 (01:52:00):
Yeah, that's a faster beat.

Speaker 2 (01:52:01):
And they've got it's a rhythmic how they got it
taken care of, and a lot of people deal with it.
But for the moment whenever it happened, it was one
of those pre.

Speaker 9 (01:52:09):
Game flutter today. So exactly, you're taking a coach off
the field. I mean, did you see the John Harbaugh
press conference? The PR guy pulled John Harbaugh from his
Ravens press conference to tell him about his brothers just
be pulled off the field.

Speaker 2 (01:52:22):
Oh wow, I didn't see that. Well, good to see
everything was okay with Jim Harball. All right, Arnie, when
we come back, it's time for your picks. But I
also have a little post game to share from Dennis Campbell,
who's that, Dennis Allen, Kevin Stefanski, and Trevor Lawrence. Because
Trevor Lawrence was asked about his relationship with Doug Peterson.

(01:52:44):
Now you might say, plank, that's like two segments on
the Jaguars Calm down, Calm down. I just I think
there might be a chance there's some movement there. I
think Jacksonville is a place that even though they've had
two winning seasons under Doug Peterson, I think you could
see a knee jerk. I think shod Con is one
of those guys. It's like, all right, this isn't working.
Let's get a new mindset. Let's get a fresh mindset

(01:53:06):
in here, and let's do it now. But we'll do
it all next to put a rap on this edition
of Arnie and Plank right here on Fox Sports Radio.
All right, shout out Mary Mac awesome job tonight. Uh,
I will say, Patrick and I we're on a group
text with Arnie.

Speaker 8 (01:53:22):
Yeah, whatever or not? Why am I not in that
groove chat?

Speaker 3 (01:53:25):
That's that's your boy? Have him figure out Twitter?

Speaker 8 (01:53:27):
Yeah? Why am I not in that group chat?

Speaker 10 (01:53:30):
Like?

Speaker 8 (01:53:30):
I'm not a producer?

Speaker 3 (01:53:32):
Listen, you're better off.

Speaker 1 (01:53:34):
But since you've asked, I never knew we didn't have one.

Speaker 2 (01:53:36):
You're in a right You're in you know you're the
one that's telling us and texting us. Be like, can
you do something about this?

Speaker 1 (01:53:42):
Patrick?

Speaker 6 (01:53:43):
Whenever you help me fix my Twitter account.

Speaker 2 (01:53:48):
Can you do something about this? That was hilarious? What
do you think he's got Elon's text? All right, phone number?
We can text him or something.

Speaker 1 (01:53:55):
You can tweet him, say you help us out here?
Come on now? Okay, okay, okay, we getting him on
the show and ask him what his favorite team is.

Speaker 8 (01:54:02):
He he probably would want to come on this show.

Speaker 1 (01:54:04):
Yeah, exactly, he loved.

Speaker 2 (01:54:06):
Was Where was he the other night? He was at
someone's game and all fired up? Well, I don't know
if he's Yeah, I don't know if he's a real.

Speaker 1 (01:54:12):
I think it was a college game.

Speaker 2 (01:54:13):
I think oh was it a college game? Well, good luck, Arnie.
I hope you get your ex slash twitter feedback this week.

Speaker 1 (01:54:19):
But they get my miniseries next year.

Speaker 3 (01:54:23):
Yeah, I wait to see it.

Speaker 2 (01:54:25):
And Steve Seger awesome on updates and audio tonight. Man,
those Fox Sports editors behind the scenes crushed it tonight.
The audio was up early. We've gotten more to share.
You did nothing to make that happen, but you're welcome,
I guess. So thanks to everyone who got in, grinded
and got it done. What do you say we get

(01:54:45):
Arnie's picks to wrap up?

Speaker 8 (01:54:47):
Should we?

Speaker 10 (01:54:48):
Really?

Speaker 8 (01:54:48):
I think we should have a moment of silence, you know,
like for for.

Speaker 3 (01:54:51):
His Twitter feed. Yeah, yeah, I'm good with it.

Speaker 7 (01:54:55):
They just they shout out my twitter feed was my
college picks? Now I'm starting to think so I think
it your protexts?

Speaker 8 (01:55:00):
Yeah, just kind of like give it a overall, it's
a little moment.

Speaker 2 (01:55:04):
You don't know what's actually keeping tabs on this. Yeah,
say you got them all right, No one would even
know I'm forty eight.

Speaker 1 (01:55:10):
If I was gonna cheat, I wouldn't give you that number.

Speaker 2 (01:55:13):
Well, I think you're picking too many games. Maybe you
just picked three or four games a week and you're good.
You try to pick like sixteen games.

Speaker 1 (01:55:21):
Will I tell you you eat too much pizza? Shall
I say? Why don't you just have one slice instead
of seven?

Speaker 8 (01:55:25):
The difference is that Plank has never thrown up on
the show.

Speaker 2 (01:55:28):
That's right, Nor have I ever come to you and
try to tell you that I need to lose weight
and get your advice on it.

Speaker 3 (01:55:35):
I mean, you're wondering why you suck at your picks?

Speaker 1 (01:55:38):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (01:55:38):
Trying to help you out, So just just the thought.
But anyway, you're not gonna listen to us, So take
it away. Rip at stinking genius one on Twitter, But
Arnie's picks somehow survive.

Speaker 3 (01:55:51):
Say your picks are worse than your Twitter feed.

Speaker 7 (01:55:53):
Wow, Well, I hopefully I'll get my Twitter account back
that says it's good to take anywhere between twelve hours
and two weeks. So what will see as there? Yeah,
well see, I'm picking the Mets to win Game two.
They're gonna come back against this Dodger bullpen baloney.

Speaker 1 (01:56:08):
That's starting.

Speaker 7 (01:56:10):
Easy win for the Mets, easy win for the Mets,
and the Mets win the series in seven. So it's
gonna be the Mets and the Yankees in the World Series,
just like I said it was going to be. I
wish I was out in La at Dodger Stadium watching
this one. I wish I could be there for that
one o'clock start Pacific time. I would love that. All right, Uh,

(01:56:32):
let me get to some college football. I like Purdue
plus the twenty eight against Oregon. Way too many points there.
I'm gonna take Ocoma State plus the nine against BYU,
and I love me some Tennessee plus the two and
a half against Alabama. I also like Texas MIAs three
and a half against Georgia. And in the NFL, I'm
taking the Jets plus one against the Buffalo Bills. So

(01:56:55):
there you have my pickste with the Midge to please
no longer strictly for entertainment purposes only.

Speaker 1 (01:57:01):
There you go, There you go.

Speaker 3 (01:57:01):
That's a that's a smaller sample size of games. Yes,
I think that.

Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
But are you are you going to the window with
these now or are you gonna wait until like Friday
before you make him official.

Speaker 7 (01:57:12):
I don't know if I could make him official because
I don't have Twitter.

Speaker 1 (01:57:15):
I don't know what I'm gonna do. I can't put
my picks out there. See, that's why they shut it
out book.

Speaker 7 (01:57:21):
I've turned it around now, and I've done turned around.
Why my picks in the NF.

Speaker 2 (01:57:26):
But you never give your NFL picks on the show.
So have you really turned it around?

Speaker 1 (01:57:30):
Yeah, they're on Twitter all the time. I put them
up No, no, on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:57:33):
The show that's tonight, I said, it's not your Twitter account?
Plus just plus one? I like one game? Yeah, what
about the Thursday night game? Do you even know who's
playing on Thursday Night?

Speaker 1 (01:57:44):
I haven't done I haven't done that one yet.

Speaker 3 (01:57:46):
It's the Saints in the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (01:57:47):
Okay, I may pass on that one. He never passed
on a pass.

Speaker 2 (01:57:53):
So are you telling me that you don't have a
feel on Tuesday Night football? Between Troy and South Alabama
are Kinnesaw State and Middle Tennessee state.

Speaker 1 (01:58:02):
No, I probably will on that one there.

Speaker 2 (01:58:04):
Wednesday nights Western of Kentucky and Sam Houston, nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:58:07):
Nothing, nothing, I got nothing for you on those. So
that's where you can make your money man, all Right.

Speaker 2 (01:58:12):
So in putting a rap on week six of the
National Football League, Trevor Lawrence was asked about his relationship
with Doug Peterson.

Speaker 10 (01:58:20):
Am I still playing for Doug? Yeah, that's our head coach,
and you know we're for a team. And look, this
is this is tough losing his heart and has nothing
to do with that relationship. How we feel about coach
and where a group, we're staying together and we know
brighter days are head. We just have to keep working
and we have to keep putting our best foot forward.

Speaker 1 (01:58:37):
And what a question?

Speaker 2 (01:58:39):
Are you still playing for Doug? What is he gonna say? No,
I know the team is after noon, he quit, we
fired And what kind.

Speaker 1 (01:58:47):
Of question is that?

Speaker 3 (01:58:48):
Okay, So let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (01:58:50):
I feel like this is a slam duck next week
the Patriots and the Jaguars. Right now, the Jaguars are
listed as a four and a half point favorite. They
get all week in London. I'm assuming they're not coming
back I'm just know they are they're staying out there. Yes, okay,
I mean that's a slam dunk, right. I was that
easy money?

Speaker 1 (01:59:08):
Absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:59:10):
I love it when that when that kind of sucked
for Doug Peterson. If they're like Doug, we're going to
make a change, you head back to the States. We're
going to stay here in London, it might be make
or break for him, regardless we talked about the situation.
You heard what Nick Sirianni said about the interaction with
the fans. I think I played this earlier, but one

(01:59:31):
more time from Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 14 (01:59:33):
I don't know what exactly happened. I've kind of been,
you know, put on notice on some of it. I
don't really I didn't see anything, but I might encourage
him to be himself that's who he is.

Speaker 1 (01:59:43):
I don't know who else said it.

Speaker 14 (01:59:44):
I know I spoke to him, you know, and I'm
you know, reassurance of you know, we we trust who
you are, we trust where you are as a coach,
and we know we can deal with you.

Speaker 2 (01:59:53):
And Dak Prescott. How you got to get better during
the bye.

Speaker 12 (01:59:56):
Week, got it be honest with one another, everybody, myself
I'm sure coach said the same. Look in the mirror,
figure out what we can do, how we can be
better for this team, Put better units out there and
collectively make sure that when we get on the road
week after this bye that we're a much better team
than then we put out there today, and try to
build from that.

Speaker 2 (02:00:15):
Good luck with that one, Arnie, have a great week.
Hope you get your tweet. Big Ben is next.
