Speaker 1 (00:01):
The gig of sports books.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We're setting you up with the information you need to
watch your team win.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Is the eight Gag.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're here to break it all time. Is Fox Sports
Radios countdown that kickoffs bet MGF No, we're live from
your tail game. Here's Brian no Hire, NFL Betteran, Jeff Schwartz,
and Professional sports better Bill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Oh, welcome in, good morning, Happy Sunday to you. Week
eight in the NFL. We're gonna get you all set.
I think Crack has I don't know if he's hit
triple digit bets this week. I'm not sure, but I'm hoping.
It's a huge week for him, and he's provided us
with some of his better plays. I helped share some

(00:51):
of those with you today as well. First though, I'm
got my mind on you, Jeff. With these Dodgers over here,
Freddy Freeman heroics in Game one, the Dodgers win Game two,
They're up to nothing in the series. As a noted
San Francisco Giants fan, no.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
One likes this. There's no one around the country that's
it's It's happy to all the Dodgers are doing this,
you know, It's just it's unfortunate that it's come to this.
You know, the Atawni injury is interesting in how I
don't think it matters for the series. Otani last night,
for those who missed it, try to steal a second
base late in the game and dissocated his shoulder. You know,

(01:33):
the the Twitter docs have said he's out for the series.
Dave Roberts, you know, non committal last night, Dodgers manager.
You know, in most times I would say, Brian, when
you lose your best player and someone with the impact
of Otawni, that you would lose a series like this.
But the already up two nothing, and the Yankees are

(01:53):
not clutch. They haven't had a big hit in two games.
I guess the Stanton home run Game one we classify
maybe Brian as one big hit, but sort of every
moment of leverage through two games, the Dodgers have won
those moments. Maybe going back to the Yankee stadium tomorrow
gets the Yankees back on track. It would be a

(02:15):
bullpen game for the Dodgers, right Typically the third game
so far in a series has been a bullpen game
for the Dodgers. Curious if that happens again in Game three.
But you know I have a Dodger's ticket. That I
mean a Dodgers ticket, a Yankees ticket to win the series.
I do not think is going to cash. I might
find a way to get off of that with some

(02:36):
Dodgers money line at some point. But yeah, I mean,
no one's no one. Look, I can I know how
the country, you know, reacts these type of things. I
have the pulse of the country, and no one wants
to the Dodgers win. Brian, Absolutely no one does. It's unfortunate.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
Wow, good morning guys. Nope, A little tough on the
Dodgers here. I don't like joy. I enjoyed watching the
first game. Actually, even though you know that's where I'm from,
I still enjoyed watching the I was really pumped up
one for a minute. The home run. I was like, Wow,
that's just so exciting for the fans baseball. There's just
something romantic about baseball. Like they said in one of

(03:14):
the moves, I really liked there about baseball. I just
I thought it was. The first game was unbelievable. I
watched every pitch. It's the only game this year I've
watched beginning to end. And also the second game I
did watch but it just wasn't didn't have that. I
guess the ninth inning did had a little bit of

(03:35):
exciting there for some reason. You thought there was going
to be back to back Grand Slams from two different
teams for a second there. But yeah, I think I
think it's kind of over. I mean, it's doesn't take it.
You don't have to be the amazing Crescin to say
that there are two games up. I was hoping that
they were going to come back to La. I'll tell

(03:55):
you what I wanted to get a I'm a big
Pink Floyd fan, and David gilmore Or is in the
Hollywood Bowl and one night, I think it's Thursday night,
and then Friday night would be Game six. I would
catch both of them. Would that would have been a
real thrill for me to you know, I'm just weird, man.
I'll just hop a plane and just catch a couple
ubers and just buy a ticket. I'm by myself, which

(04:18):
I'm fine with doing that. Actually, just a little bit
of a getaway or maybe even drive. I could even
drive there. Nothing would like driving four four hours away,
four and a half hours and enjoying stuff like that.
But yeah, I think the Otani injuries, probably not. I
think I'm gonna agree with Jeff's probably not gonna matter
here too. And the Yankees haven't been clutched. Boy, you

(04:40):
know they all love Judge and I understand why, but boy,
has he been terrible in a spot like this And
this is why you get paid the money.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Man.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Come on, I know, such a sensational season, but yeah,
he's cracked to your point. In the World Series, Aaron
Judge is just one for nine with six strikeouts.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
He hasn't seen his slider. He doesn't want to swing out.
I'll tell you that because I mean every off speed
pitch that goes from you know, from like up to
down in any direction, he is just swinging right through.
He's not seeing the ball at all. In this series crack.
You cannot wager against Gardner Minshew each Sunday if you're
gonna be in Los Angeles. In California, there's no legal

(05:22):
sports wagering there. I'm gonna feel bad if you're in
California stuck and he can't.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
What do you notice about And by the way, we've
been very successful.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
The one thing I've noticed about sharp guys like Bill
is that when they find a wager that they like.
I noticed this in the NBA playoffs. They just bet
at every game until it gets until gets just like
outrageously in one direction, right like you. I think you
had detate him almost every game like points everyone sists
over and eventually got to like a certain point where
it was like unbettable because the number was too high.

(05:55):
But you've hit Gardner Minshew unders every week. I think
anytime he plays Crack is like, Nope, you're gonna stink today.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Well as implied value that maybe they'll pull them, I
mean or whatever, you know whatever.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Well in this game, who knows, but you're irish or
are they playoff bound? I feel like after we have
maybe the best win of the season so far on
the road at A and M, who's undefeated, sc play
now and you just took down America's team, the Navy Midshipman,
I bet Nerdy and big in that game, Buddy, I
should have bet more money. I knew that game was

(06:28):
going in that direction. It's one of those things where
in collechtable this season two observations before get the NFL one,
I feel like thirty teams at the top. There's a
couple of elite teams, but then like thirty teams any
given day to coin flip in any given game, the
top like you have like Oregon and Georgia, Texas, maybe

(06:48):
up at the top Ohio State, I guess Penn State,
and then like thirty teams that any given Sunday Saturday,
who knows is gonna win. But when good team plays
their first good team, the other team loses. So like
we saw that Georgia Alabama, we saw that with Texas, Georgia,
Ohio State, Oregon, like Navy had not played Notre Dame yet,

(07:11):
and I mean they turned the ball over five times.
I think it was right five times yesterday, So tough
came for the midshipman. SMU last night was minus six
and turnovers and won a road game. I think it's
probably to I'd never been done before.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
I loved the interview from SMU's head coach. I don't
know if you saw it, Jeff, but I did not know.
Oh the field reporter was like something like, what did
you think about your quarterbacks performance? And he just just
said it straight. He's like, that was pretty bad. A
lot of turnovers, just dropping the ball, not good. But

(07:47):
and then he paused for a while. I was like,
I gotta say something positive, say something, but uh kept fighting,
you know, kept fighting. So that's good. It was so good.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
I needed SMU for the final leg of a money
line parlay that I finally hit it after nine weeks
of college football. That was my last leg last night
for the money line parlay. And Duke missed. Duke a
field goal blocked heading into overtime that would have won
them the game. After SMU's quarterback got strip sacked. They're
going to take the leaves twenty one to twenty one.
Crack their quarterback. He's a little beat up. He did

(08:19):
get hurt in the game, but he gets stripped sacked
from behind Duke's defensive and picks it up, runs it
back to like the red zone. Duke runs the ball
three times, kicks a field goal, gets blocked, go to overtime.
SMU scores in overtime, then Duke scored. They both scored
the first play overtime. I think right, Duke scores immediately
and then they go for two and they miss it.
SMU wins by one, minus six turnovers, minus six turnovers

(08:42):
on the road, and they won a football game.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Jeff How many teams are you putting in these parlays?

Speaker 4 (08:47):
I do one. I do one every college football weekend,
and it's like eight to ten teams, money line parlay,
A little sprinkle just for fun, to scratch, what's wrong
with you? And what one a week?

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Honestly, if you're only betting a saw buck or something
having some fun, what a couple of bucks?

Speaker 4 (09:06):
I guess it's I think it was like fifty bucks.
Like it wasn't like not nothing like I'm just just
for just I would not have watched SMU Duke, Okay,
I would have. I would not have checked that game
out if it wasn't the last leg of an eight
team here, sorry it was eleven teams eleven.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Eleven Wait time, but this is getting worse for cracks.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
You hit, you hit this thing?

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Yeah, Indiana Ole, miss Memphis who needed a late comeback.
Notre Dame uh B Yu, Oregon, Iowa, Miami, Michigan, Kansas
State who needed a late comeback to an SMU.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
I'm gonna throw the baby Jesus in my Jesus eleven eleven.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, I just I just do it's just for fun.
Every week. I do one of these every weekend why not.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
I take, I take, you're only doing a percentage of
your reg bet. I have no problem with you're having
some fun. But if you're like if someone bets one
hundred dollars on a game and then decides to bet
one hundred dollars on an eleven team er, it's cutting
into your into your thing. But I understand you bet
more than than fifty bucks. Of course on just it's.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Just like a like a little a little fun. Why
not on a Saturday, crack Well, this made up this,
this one hit pays for the other nine weeks. Eight weeks.
I lost this wager.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Yeah, honey, can you had some brandy to that coffee
this morning?

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Crackting was working with me for three years now. I
pretend to be this like sharp guy, I.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Just smart, don't have thenster play and all came out?

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Can he just learns I do one of these a weekend.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
I never knew he did this. I'm sorry to talk
about this on air.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
No, I don't recommend people. I never I don't give
this out any I never talk like that.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
It's just an other.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Personal parlay than I do once a week, and I
don't do one for the NFL. I think that's the
that's the line too far across the NFL. I would
never do money line parlay unless you know I'm here.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
I am sending you guys twenty five props in a week.
And I actually talked to Russ ahead of time. I said, Russ,
I mean, is that fair? Like guy, guy's gonna think
I'm creazy? And then I text Jeff, by the way,
on his own yesterday, I said, Jeff, I have like
fifteen props here player props. You think this is okay
for the rest of the guy. I know it's okay
for you, but it's okay for the rest of the
guys like that. Are they gonna think I'm nuts? It's

(11:28):
probably going to say, what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Like more than look, I'm doing eleven leg money line parlays. Buddy,
you give me all the props you want.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
I got you good.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
You you hit a couple of those today and I
just paid for my money line parlay, So that's good.
Hit it.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
You hit it though, you hit something like that, and
now you have a bankroll of parlay to burn off.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
It's going to be a fifteen team now we're going No.
I don't know who knows what the next next week
will be. But no, that was you know, hope fun.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
And then you know Russ also had this like eight
eight he better be bet MGM parlay like eight out
of eight or something. He missed one of the and
he said I would have had ten out of him.
And I'm like, wow, my guys are all firing on
ten teams, eleven teams.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, guy, ru you don't just do it for Robin.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
See, but you don't watch football like we do. That's
I think part of it is, like it just sort
of kept me involved.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
I understand. To catch you made you watch the game more.
It's exactly what the sports books want you to do.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Yeah, I promise you I'm doing Okay, Okay, I got
a bucket.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
I could get started off.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
H I hit Memphis Live yesterday. That paid for my parlay.
So we're good.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
There, all good, good, good.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
A lot to do here today. You know that's we
don't talk a ton of college football just super fast.
I think you hit on this, Jeff where style points
that's the thing in the past. Now at the twelve
team playoff and you saw that in the top five
Ohio State barely beat Nebraska. The Buckeyes were huge favorites.
They're twenty five and a half point favorites. They barely survived.

(13:01):
Texas just survived at Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt played another top team tough,
and it's like those are two top five teams, Ohio
State and Texas that barely won and they couldn't care less.
They're like, hey, we won, We're good. You don't have
to win by three touchdowns and impress the committee. It's
just survive in advance. That's where we're at right now
in college football and in the NFL. Briefly, it's survived

(13:23):
in advance. We've got some big point spreads here. So
some of these teams, we've got what six teams that
are favored by at least seven points. So we've seen
for a number of weeks these tight, tight spread, these
tight point spreads right where there's just maybe a couple
of points difference, maybe three points. You look today and

(13:45):
it's like, WHOA, we got a couple of double digit spreads.
We got a bunch of teams favored by at least
seven points. So really interesting week in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Here the bad teams are getting to be bad. That's
how simple it is very good. That was my That's
what it is. It's the bad teams are bad right now? Look, am,
I can I advise anyone to put to lay eleven
points with Denver No, the bartender has the Broncos, though,
I'm gonna have to bet on the Panthers by four
straight week and it's really gonna bother me. But you know, like, yeah,

(14:16):
these the bad teams are getting really bad. And you
look at the Panthers today, right, They're going on the
road with Bryce hung Back in the starting lineup, No
Deontae Johnson, no Adam Feeling. I mean the Broncos are
third and dvoa on defense or third and scoring on defense.
We just saw this sort of situation with Spencer Rattler

(14:36):
playing the Broncos at home with no one to throw
to and they could move the ball. So the numbers
are getting big because for the first four weeks, guys,
these the bad teams sort of stuck together. But then
attrition happens, right, you start having injuries, and a lot
of the bad teams have injuries. You just you the

(14:57):
bad teams that have injuries. Once the depth goes, it's
that's it, guy, There's no more depth. There's no backups
coming to stay the day. And that's why I see
a lot of times with some of these bad football teams.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Yeah, I actually this is one of the biggest line
moves of the year. Opened up at seven at a
couple different sports books that opened the line quickly went
up to ten and now eleven is even a couple
eleven and a half. Boy, I can't bring myself to
even though we're talking about betting against bad teams, just
looking here. Yeah, I can't bring myself to lay that

(15:28):
kind of wood with a This is the Broncos. This
isn't like the Chiefs or something. I mean, right on Jesus.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Yeah, it's wild.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
I've thought that a few times this week or this year,
where it's like I can't, I can't back this team,
but laying this many points and it's like and they
blow them out right, like it'll be something crazy. It's
been a wild year so far. Hey, it's football time.

Alright, let's do this follow the money, real good money.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Ah. Yes, we are following the money with our main man,
Christian Cipolini, BETMGM Trading Manager. Good morning Christian, and now
correct me if I'm wrong. Is there public money just
pouring in on the Titans the Carolina Panthers, you know,
double digit underdogs. Is the public just rushing to bet

(17:42):
those teams?

Speaker 6 (17:45):
No, they're not betting on the Titans and they're not
betting on the Panthers. I feel like I often say
I can't write a bet on certain team. This is
the most true I've ever said of this week on
the Titans. Almost all of our money is on the Lions.
We cannot get anybody to bet the Titan. But there's
a ton of big spread games this week, and it
kind of follows us in most story. For all of
those every one of those spreads it's over ten points.

(18:07):
We can't get a bet.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
On the dogs.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
It seems like it's changed, right because the first four weeks,
all these dogs were winning covering. Now they seem just
really bad again. Do you think you'll get anything today?
Do you think that people will come in and take
the take all of these points? Titans getting twelve and
a half right now, you know, the Panthers get eleven
and a half. Even the Browns we'll talk about that
in a little bit. They got a big number of
the Raiders getting nine at home. Do you think there's

(18:32):
anyone comes in today and just hit them because the
numbers get too big.

Speaker 6 (18:37):
The only one that's getting somewhat like a little bit
of action is the Browns. Probably it's a bit off
Jamis and somewhat of a change. All of those other
ten point plus spreads that we're talking there as of
right now, we're not getting and I really don't support
for it in the next couple hours. Those are you know,
teams that we don't end up getting a lot of
bets on in the first place anyway, And it just

(18:57):
apps the workout this week where we have a lot
of good teams playing bad teams. So it'll be crucial
for the book to get If just one of those
teams can win, probably will make the entire week for
the books.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Good morning, Christian. Now let me ask you, out of
all those games you mentioned, which one I know you
said you've written nothing but Detroit tickets. However, volume wise,
what would you think will you be your biggest risk today?
What team do you really need or is it or
is it Tennessee?

Speaker 6 (19:31):
If I could pick one outcome, it probably would be
the Titans to win. Just because I'm talking moneyline parlays
all this, I'd imagine a lot of people are just
throwing Detroit in as their last leg, thinking that there's
no way they could possibly lose. So that would probably
be the one that would turn everything the most, if
not the one that's going to get more action is

(19:51):
that Ravens Browns game. So if the if the Browns
can cover or win, that will be really good as well.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Gotcha, Rich If you look at Sunday Night the Cowboys
and the Niners, what has the money looked like throughout
the week regarding that game, with especially the the Niners
being so banged up and off a disappointing loss against
the Chiefs last week.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
Yeah, but I guess also on that side to the Cowboys,
the last we saw them, you know, they lost by
one hundred, So there's not a ton of inspire inspiring
things a bet on with that side too, So the
way it's shaping up right now, we're looking like we're
probably going to get pretty close to a balanced book
on that fifty fifty money. And especially with all these
big spread games, you know, if all the favorites end

(20:37):
up covering, you know, we're not going to really have
an opportunity to get it back on Sunday Night this
week because it's looking like it's going to be even.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Does the number in Washington flip back the other direction
if Daniels does not play, I mean it was plus
three Washington. Now looks like they're near a favorite or
maybe a favorite already with the new Daniels may play,
but he may not play. Do you think there's there'll
be money either direction when it's an announces actual status.

Speaker 6 (21:02):
Yeah, this is one of the ones that's been pretty
decent for us because it looked like Jane Daniels wasn't playing,
So we did rind a lot of bears minus two
and a half action on people thinking, you know, if
Jane Dacos doesn't play, that's probably going to go to three.
So they're trying to get it ahead of that key number.
But now that it's flipped in the other direction. Now
we're starting to take on more Commander's money, but we've
already taken more Bears money through the week. So this

(21:22):
is one that ended up working out in our favor.
So we're probably going to write We're probably gonna end
up with a balanced book on this one.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
Philadelphia Cincinnati maybe the game of the week this week
for the public looking to watch a game. You guys
are minus two and a half minus fifteen on that game.
A lot of shops two and a half? Are you
writing more Cincinnati action on that game?

Speaker 6 (21:43):
And a line hasn't moved all week, It's been two
and a half the whole time. The way that I'm
seeing it again, the way I'm seeing it so far
is if people like the Eagles, they're tending to take
them on the money line. If people like the Bengals,
they're tending to take them at that minus two and
a half. So opportunity for the book that ends up
Bengals by one or two would be best outcome for us.

(22:04):
But it is closer to kind of fifty to fifty,
so that one's probably not gonna sway us too much
either way. We don't really have much of a rooting
interest besides the fact that maybe we can end up
with a book.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Middle cool all right, Christian, Well, hey man, always good
catching up with you. Have a good week, eight. We'll
see you soon.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
Yeah, thanks so much for having me.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Good luck to rue this week, Thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
There he is. Christian Sippolini bet MGM trading manager. Interesting stuff.
As soon as he says something like, you know, what
would be ideal is if the Bengals win by one
or two. I'm like, watch the Bengals win.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
That's a scoop. Yeah, scoop for.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
That could work out exactly how they need it. All right,
what works out for us exactly how we need it.
We've got Isaac Lohenfraund with us. Right, that works out beautifully.
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I love well?

Speaker 7 (22:52):
Thank you, Brian, Good morning fellows.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
And it is indeed a good morning for supporters of
the Los Angeles Dodgers because of Game two of the
World Series on set Saturday night, they topped the New
York Yankees four to two for a two games to
none lead. The big headline. However, coming out of this
game show, Heyo Tani left the contest after partially dislocating
his left shoulder while sliding into second base in the
seventh inning.

Speaker 7 (23:13):
Here's an update from manager Dave Roberts.

Speaker 9 (23:15):
He had a little left shoulder subliction, and so we're
gonna get some tests at some point tonight tomorrow, and
then we'll know more in the next couple of days.
But the strength was great, the range of motion good,
so we're encouraged.

Speaker 8 (23:31):
Offensively, Dodgers got home runs from Tommy Edmund Ti, Oscar Hernandez,
and Freddie Freeman. Yoshinobu Yamamoto got the win and six
at the third innings. He allowed one run on one hit. However,
none of the aforementioned people were the real MVP of
the contest. Instead, it was some Dodger fan named Raoul

(23:52):
who bought forty three ice cream sandwiches at the game
last night and had the vendor tossed them to all
the fans around him, including a fan named Zach who
posted quote, was at the game in the loge and
out of nowhere, ice cream sandwiches just started flying from

(24:12):
the field level. Had no clue where they were coming from.
Thanks to Raoul, I guess unquote, well, why can't that happen?
When when we go.

Speaker 7 (24:21):
To games, guys, you've never had that.

Speaker 8 (24:23):
I've never had a random bombardment of free ice cream sandwiches.
So kudos to Raoul and college football. On Saturday night,
Number three Penn State and wanted Wisconsin twenty eight to thirteen.
Number six Miami over Florida State thirty six to fourteen,
Fourteenth rank Texas A and M knocked off Number eight
LSU thirty eight to twenty three, sixteenth rank Kansas State

(24:44):
over Kansas twenty nine to twenty seven out of the NBA.
On Saturday Night, the Los Angeles Lakers improved to three
to oh with a one thirty one, one twenty seven win.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Over the Sacramento Kings. Fellas. All yours, thank you.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
I lo it is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to kick Off,
presented by bet MGM. The only thing I can relate
to that the free ice cream sandwich is real fast guys,
free hot dogs. At a Notre Dame game a couple
of years ago, they were hosting Clemson. You might remember
the game where the weather was just insane. It was
crazy windy that game and Notre Dame just ran the

(25:18):
ball won the game. But yeah, they were just like, Hey,
we got all these free hot dogs. You just started
passing it, passing it out to everybody. That's the closest
thing to free ice cream sandwiches. I don't know if
it's gonna be the same feeling for Panther fans today,
you know, with Bryce Young starting again, it's not exactly
like free hot dogs for everybody. You know, it's not

(25:38):
that sort of feeling. And I'm wondering what you guys think,
because I want to have another reason, not just Man,
that's a lot of points to back the Panthers? Is
it for you? Jeff the bartender is on Denver?

Speaker 7 (25:52):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Like, there's gotta be something football related for me to
want to get behind Carolina because man, everything favors Denver.
I can't lay that many points. But man, when you're
thinking about scooping up those points, I can't come up
with much other than that's a lot of points and
it's the NFL and that maybe it'll work out this week.

(26:14):
You got anything else besides that?

Speaker 4 (26:17):
I mean I think that you just the Panthers play
is a contrarian play. I mean, that's all I can
give you. I can't I can't give you a great
reason why they're gonna cover this game other than just
it's a contrarian play. And if there are certainly people
that are just contrariing wagershy's wrong with that. But there's

(26:40):
no football reason right other than again, like because even
if you say to yourself, okay, and sometimes we do
talk about this right with the big number, can of
team backdoor cover, Like can the Browns backdoor cover today? Absolutely?
Jameis Winston, I think Browns might win the game. We'll
talk about that a little bit. Wow, But but there's
no Bryce Young backdoor cover in this game. It's not

(27:04):
gonna happen, right, So so crack I, we talk about
the bartender, we joke about it. He's twelve and eight
this year, which is incredible. Eventually it's an attorney. He's
a forty two percent gambler. I could. It's like the
four straight weeks Beggin's the Panthers. I can't bet the
pain I didn't do it. I just faded the other two.
I can't. I just can't bring myself to bet the

(27:24):
Panthers today, even if it's a fan of someone that
I should be fading each and every week.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
That's funny. I know somebody that we have a contest
out here in Vegas. I want one of our contests
that and I'm actually doing really good in the Westgate
twenty three and twelve, But yet twenty three and twelve,
I'm in two hundredth place. That's unbelievable, isn't it. I mean,
that's how good these people in contests run. And you're
up against so many people though you're up against thousands

(27:50):
of people. You know, they have a decent line. They
had a minus ten, which you know you look at
the lot of the lines the circle have minus nine
and a half. Also, so these these places for their contest,
I look at a lot of the line to come
out on Wednesday, you could start picking. So I was
going to use the broncos on like almost every card

(28:11):
nine and a half compared to eleven, eleven and a half,
you have a good edge. But one of my one
my one of my buddies who shall remain nameless, it's
also a voice kind of person, and he said, oh god,
we can't take the broncos on these. We just can't
lay points like that. And normally I've never laid points betting,

(28:33):
very rare ever, laying points. I don't think I have
ever laid double digits actually in the NFL. College football, yes,
but not the NFL. So now that makes it a bet. Maybe,
who knows, I don't. I thought about it. I said, wow,
now I'm not picking it because of him. But listen,
we know how bad Carolyn is. But again, should the
Broncos be eleven I said it earlier, eleven point favorites

(28:55):
over anyone. Bryce Young will start, as we know this game.
Andy Dalton injured his hand in a car accident. Young
looked absolutely awful in his first two games this season,
so he gets another chance. I don't know what happened
in that off time, but I'm sure he can't look
worse than that. So he has to have something to

(29:16):
build on here to you know, make the public, his team,
his teammates, the fans. You know he was the first
pick of the draft. I mean, come on, Broncos rushing
attack has looked really good though in the past couple
of weeks, and Caroline has the worst rushing d in
the league, so you would think Denver would dominate in
this one. I understand on the ground I was saying,

(29:39):
but again, it's just any given Sunday. But there's a
couple teams that I just cannot bring myself to bet,
and it's just had the strength is shown, as Jeff
said earlier in these teams, and the ugly teams are
really I love to bet them, especially early in the season.
Now we're in the middle of the season. Smack Dad

(29:59):
middle almost it's just just so tough to lay double digitch.
But it's so tough to pick a Carolina or a Cleveland.
I haven't only looked at the Cleveland I tell you.
I like when my co hosts picked double digit dogs
dog that have a chance to win outright. Now, that's
the way people don't realize too. I know it's a

(30:19):
hard thing to do. But let's say you've bet one
hundred dollars on a game. So I bet one hundred
dollars on Cleveland. Bet MGMs plus seven and a half
minus fifteen, So one hundred dollars one hundred and five
to win one hundred on Cleveland. It's not a bad
idea to take the Cleveland money line for ten percent
of that. So you can take the plus three ten
three twenty on Cleveland money line for a little sawbuck

(30:43):
ten percent of your bet. I like doing that, so
Jeff said, it immediately reminded me to want to tell
that to our fan base out here.

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Yeah, hey, Bryce Young, real fast. It has passed a
rating so far this year is forty nine point five,
which is as low down as you can possibly get.
And Denver they've got the number three defense in football.
They're number one in pressure rate. So it's, uh, that's
that's gonna be. That's gonna be a test, to say

(31:10):
the least. Real fast. Another team that's dealing with injuries.
How about Tampa Bay when you lose both Mike Evans
he's got the hamstring issue he's ruled out today and
Chris Godwin so terrible he's placed on IR earlier this week,
had the ankle injury, has to have ankle surgery that
happened in the final minute against the Baltimore Ravens. So

(31:32):
this Tampa team without Mike Evans, without Chris Godwin hosting
the Falcons today, and this line is flipped. It was
Tampa was a short favorite. Now there's a short underdog
with all the injuries they're dealing with.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Man. I like Tampa a lot. That game, you know,
it was one of my games last weekend. The shold
about twenty one nothing. It just was sort of a weird,
kind of a weird outcome there at the first quarter,
first half going injury stinks to Mike Evans injury. They
have to get through these three games. I I don't

(32:07):
have a play for this one, guys. I would lean,
you know, with the points here in Tampa Bay. But
their leading wide receiver is gonna be who today. I
don't know. That's a problem, right, Maybe it's again, maybe
it's not even a wide receiver. Hopefully, hopefully Baker doesn't
rush for twelve yards in the final playing the game,

(32:29):
so we don't hit the bakery.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
That disgusting. That was so bad, you guys lost that problem.
I mean it was it was I'm complaining about going
like they got my four and one that day, but
I'm complaining that that was that was supposed to be
the like that was bad.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
So there, I actually have an interesting way to bet
Tampa Bay, guys. Not not today. Okay, So they go Falcons, Chiefs, Niners.
Next three games, they get a bye, all right, So
let's say they go one and two the next two games,
next three games or five and five all right then
the last seven games, right though, Mike Evans presumably back, Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers, Cowboys, Panthers, Saints.

(33:10):
They may be underdog at Dallas. That's the only game
of the seven will be underdog. I think you bet
Tampa Bay win the division during their Bible Wow, I don't.
I don't trust Atlanta. What do they do well? What's
something that we know Tampa Bay can play defense? We
know Becker Mayfa can throw the ball. When Mike Evans
is back, we know he can he can get a

(33:30):
thousand yeard Like we know these things about Tampa Bay.
I think after this three game stretch Brown they get
one and two, it's probably what I would imagine happens them.
To win the South will be a good wage. You
get good plus money, you get like plus three hundred
ish around. I think it's a good wager.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
To make, not bad.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
It's kind of your look aheadline for the division. Sure
it could work out that way, no, no doubt. Something
to keep in mind. So you're probably hoping that they
played badly these next three games. You know you ideally
you might want was probably I did. You don't want
to in three, No, but.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
I think one of two is probably probably what they
can do. They're not going to be Kansas City in Kansas.
We're one of these next two home games, right, it's
the Falcons or the Chiefs with nobody like, with nobody,
you know, healthy for the for the Niners.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt, we'll see. That's an interesting thought
right there. It's like the Rams got hot last year,
right and made the playoffs. So it's one of those
things where you'll see a team that has a gross
record at the time and you're not even thinking about
them challenging for the division or getting to the wild
card berth and they will, like some teams just get

(34:36):
hot in the second half of the season. So maybe
maybe it could be Tampa. All Right, We've got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran, Bill Krakenberger sports handicapper check about
at crackwins dot com. I'm Brian no coming up next.
The platter, the parlay platter will each have a selection
for you. It hit last week. We'll try to make
it two for two. Here it is Fox Sports Radios

(34:58):
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by at MGM. It is Fox
Sports radios countdown to kickoff, presented by BETMGM. Every time
you make a wager at MGM, you earn BETMGM rewards
points that could be redeemed for things like bonus bets
or converted to MGM rewards points that can be used
towards dining shows and hotel rooms at over twenty MGM resorts.

(35:20):
All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Check this out far late, letter ah, Yes.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Time for the platter. We each have one selection. We
pull everything together for a greater payout we hit last week. Guys,
So crack, you're up first. Let's make it two in
a row, shall we?

Speaker 5 (35:38):
Yes? And do? I go right in with Minshew.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Like, yes, buddy, go ahead, Yeah, let's go on.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
I could pick either attempts or passing yards. I'll think
I'll go with the attempts. Bet MGM has under thirty
two and a half under thirty two and a half
Minshew passing attempts.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
I like it. I I think that game is gonna
be as ugly as it could be. However, Adam Scheffer
did report this morning that the Chiefs remember how the
Raiders mocked Patrick Mahomes in training camp. So my thought
on this game is like just Chief Seal the twenty
ten right, just something dumb because they don't care. But

(36:19):
I don't know they might care. Now, all right, I'm
gonna put my favorite, my second favorite, oh Brownford down
is seven and a half now by the way, yeah
that I got him in nine. So I will the
crack challenge. I'm interesting, Brian, you might like this one too,
but I'm gonna steal it from you. Dolphins minus four
and a half against the Cardinals this weekend. I just

(36:42):
think with Tua back and we could talk about too, uh,
it's gonna make me uncomfortable to watch him play, but
I won't put in comfortable cash this wager. Brian, having
to a back will make the whole team better. You
know this. They're itch and a half some offense, just
something something to be excited for. Miami are coming back
is a big deal for that and the Cardinals just

(37:02):
aren't good. I don't what other Cardinals. So I'll go
Dolphins here minus four and a half. Not the best number,
but what we have right now.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Okay, I'm gonna go with Lamar Jackson not to throw
an interception. That's my play, okay, because Lamar, he's only
thrown two picks this year. The Browns only have one
interception as a defense this season. And listen to the
Ravens running game is so good it obviously you're not

(37:32):
throwing interceptions if you're running the football right, that's the
first thing. And then it opens up the passing game
as well. So Lamar's played smart football. He's leading the
league in passer ratings. So it's not like just dink
and dunk all the time, but he's been smart with
the ball. And the Ravens. I'm sorry the Browns, they
haven't been taking it away. That could change any given Sunday,

(37:54):
but that's been the trend so far this season. I
look for it to continue. I'll go Lamar no interception
today against Cleveland. Okay, all right, let me throw this
out there too, Jeff. This might be one of my
plays a little bit later. But I'm thinking about your
Chiefs facing the Raiders today. And shout out to our

(38:15):
technical producer Chris Burfett. Off the air last week, we
were joking around that brock Bauers was gonna have like
sixteen targets like one hundred yards last week against who
are they? The Rams? Right, that's their offense. They had
no Davante Adams. They've got these random wide receivers and
he had a big day. Spags and the Chiefs they

(38:37):
do such a good job of limiting what you do best. Yes,
And if you look at this Raiders offense, what do
they do outside of brock Bauers, you know? So I
look for the Chiefs to put the clamps on brock
Bowers and for him to have a quiet day.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
I like you. Yeah, the Chiefs defense is playing really
on the one question I have. It's not gonna matter today,
but the Watson injury is a big deal because when
he went out the corner, they targeted his backup immediately.
The Niners did, but the Raiders don't have any wide receivers.
Doesn't really matter. Remember the Chiefs lost to the Raiders
in Later Stadium last season. The Raiders, in fact, they

(39:14):
raised a Super Bowl banner for that for that win.
So I think the Chiefs will have some motivation to
play really well in a game where we I guess
we were talking about this, right, like, just what's the
Chiefs motivation to play in games like this? Well, it's
my home is being made fun of, it's the Raiders
celebrating last season. Remember they scored twice on defense. That's
how that the Chiefs lost that game. That's a low point.

(39:37):
We thought the Chiefs were not gonna win a Super
after that game. That was the low point of their season. Yeah,
and obviously they haven't lost its.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
Right And two of those guys, just to let you know,
the key sports books that decide the lines are down
to eight on this game, believe it or not.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
So well, Hope gets the seven because I'll ta Kansas City.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Then there you go.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
All right.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
Coming up next, some great games to dive into, and
also a stat that might blow your mind. Oh, good morning,
just two hours until kickoff here in week eight. You know,
before we get to a couple of really good games,
Eagles taking on the Bengals, Bills at the Seahawks. There's

(40:14):
a stat that might melt your mind. So we go
back to last week because it applies to this week
as well. These road favorites covering the spread, it's been
happening like crazy so far this season. But think back
to last Sunday night. So the Jets were at the Steelers.
The Jets were a small favorite, and the Jets lost

(40:36):
that game. That snapped a run of fifteen straight road favorites,
covering the spread fifteen straight all the road covering. Yeah,
that is wild. But that's what I wonder, Jeff, is
are we gonna see the opposite happen pretty soon? Because
typically we do in the NFL, you don't see something
like this for that long. And I'm wondering where sometimes

(41:00):
these are sucker bets and you just get in the
habit of like, oh, Packers minus three and a half
at Jacksonville, up lay it and it doesn't work out
that way. I wonder if it's gonna start to turn.
Maybe Week eight is the week it starts to turn
a little bit more.

Speaker 4 (41:14):
Look, I'm on Jacksonville today because the Bartender. We've talked
about the bartender or not on the show. I think
Jacksonville is the right play in this spot, even though
their defense just is awful and they're untrustworthy. Right, but
the Packers are off a big home win. They're on
the road. They're playing in a warm weather city after

(41:36):
playing you know, much of their games last couple of
weeks at home and colder weather. They're on the road
in Florida. Jacksonville finally got to win they probably feel
good about where they not where they're at, but just
you gotta win finally, right, Brian. Yeah, And and your
point like everyone's sort of gonna be on the Packers.
The Packers beat the Texans. Wow, oh there they're playing

(41:57):
Jacksonville on the road, Like, come on that, Jacksonville's not
gonna It just feels like an NFL game where we
look up and say, oh, Jacksonville be be green Bay.
How's that possible? Because it's any given Sunday. But I
will say I've said this for a while about Jacksonville. Guys.
You are what your record says. You are the Bill
Parcells line. And they have good football players, they don't

(42:20):
play good football. They're terrifying to bet on Crack. I
don't like it. I'm doing it as a fade. So
that's not one of my five. I'm gona putting my
crack challenge coming up in a little bit. Your boys
killing it so far, humble Bragg there, and it won't
be my five. But I think it's the right side
Jacksonville in this game.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Yeah, Brian picked the right the right game for this example.
Green Bay on the road, green Bay just cruising along
and Jacksonville up until last week, which really can't even
have bragging rights in that particular game, but playing the Patriots.
So you look at this game and you say, oh

(43:00):
my god, this is by the way it opened up
five opened the opener was five, went down to four
three everywhere, Yeah, White exactly, it's been Jacksonville money. You
look at this game and you say, ah, this is
this is two different teams that are just you can't
even compare these teams. Green Bay's going, you know, doing.

(43:22):
I shouldn't say do them better than expected. Their season
wins was ten and a half, so I shouldn't say that,
but there are just two teams in two different directions. Basically,
even though Jacksonville did get that win across the pond
last week, this is a game that I would only
look towards the dog. I would only look towards the dog.
Are both of you guys on Jacksonville this week? You said,

(43:42):
did you both bet Jacksonville?

Speaker 4 (43:44):
Or just like I bet him as a fade of
someone else. That's why I thought a wager that I
would did myself.

Speaker 5 (43:49):
Okay, okay, And did you say the bartenders on green Bay?

Speaker 4 (43:54):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (43:54):
Yeah, I'll be getting on Jacksonville here in town as
might be a four. So just just a strict bet
against we we have bet against. We have two different
people we bet against here weekly. One is very very
open on Twitter, doesn't care about the rerect They had
a forty two per record up to forty four percent. There.
He's twelve and eighth this year, is that right?

Speaker 4 (44:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (44:14):
Yeah, twelve and eight, So he'll be returning to the
mean real soon.

Speaker 4 (44:18):
Yeah, he has to write. The return of the mean
has got to happen at something.

Speaker 5 (44:21):
And the second one has not released their plays yet,
which will be shortly. The voice from from down Under
that we'll have them as plays. We'll have those fits.
By the way, great job, right. Last week was double
fade right with both games lost. I think I won both. Yeah,
two straight plays, both straight places.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
We won that. We won both sides of.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
Both sides last week. Yeah, yeah, no, sides were great.

Speaker 4 (44:44):
Yeah. So the bartender has Packers, Ravens, Broncos. So I
put more on the Browns this morning.

Speaker 5 (44:51):
My god, look at the favorites. This guy's cold. Yeah wow.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Leg yeah goodness.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
How about Eagles Bengals? Where you look at this game
and here's the thing for me. We're just waiting, at
least I am, for the Bengals to kick it into
gear and maybe it happens today. It hasn't happened yet.
They're three and four on the season. Saquon Barkley has
been sensational for Philly. You look at Philadelphia, they have

(45:20):
the second best rushing attack. And that's the thing with
the Bengals. We hone in on Burrow, who's playing good football.
But the Bengals can't run the ball effectively. They can't
stop the rush effectively, and that's that's obviously problematic. T
Higgins a little bit banged up. Questions if he's gonna go,
If he does, how good he'll be. And yet the

(45:42):
Bengals are still favored by two and a half in
this spot. Really interesting and there's some juice. It's minus
one fifteen. So interesting that the Bengals are still favored
in the spot. If you look at Philly, and this
might be the reason why when they've played good offense
is they've been bad. They've allowed at least twenty eight
points over four hundred and fourteen yards against the Packers,

(46:07):
against the Saints, against Tampa. So how does this Philly
defense fair against the Bengals today. That's something to keep
in mind as well.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
It This game is is difficult because I have a
Bengals team, guys, that has been I'm gonna make sure
I have this right. They have been I believe the Panthers, right,
they have been the Giants, and they have been the
Browns with DeShawn Watson playing a good amount of that
game and then Dorian Thomas Robson coming in, say, being

(46:40):
like three of the five worst teams the NFL. The
other hand, we have the Eagles who are so poorly
coached they have not scored a first quarter point this season.
You know hard that at his guys, think about this.
Every team has an opening script of plays. Some are
like Andy Reid that like their first fifteen there. I

(47:00):
still have my notebooks, like I pull them out for
you guys and show you on camera, Like first fifteen plays,
normal down in distance right, then there's like the first
third down call of every distance, every chunk right, first
short yardage, first goal line. And literally he's going down
the list of plays. Okay, first down, the first play,
the second play, oh, third down, the first third right

(47:22):
down the list their practice on Friday, their practice on Saturday,
they're talked about Saturday night and then boom, you play
and you look. You might not actually get them per
se until Saturday night, but you know what plays you
keep repeating in practice, right like you sort of get
an idea of what you're gonna do. They're set up
for success. Now, they're also set up because you want

(47:43):
to get you know, clusing what the defense is gonna do,
so that different personnels, different formation, different things you're gonna do.
Some places I've been tell you, like, here's the first
sort of four runs. Here the first four passes we're
gonna call you, and they're not in order, but you
know what you're gonna do. So there. This is why
we see teams sometimes guys start fast because it's the
first scripted plays. It's what you practiced all week. It's

(48:05):
what's your best at The Eagles are so poorly, coach,
I can't score in the first quarter. They can't get
points when you should be playing your best at this
to start a game. So I don't know how you
bet on them right now, guys, I don't know how
you do it.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
Yeah, we have two teams here that have championship hopes,
but just haven't started the season the way they wanted.
The Eagles have looked a lot better on offense the
last two weeks with Aj Brown and the Monty Smith
both in the field. It actually opened it up a
little bit for Barkley two on the ground, so he
had like one hundred and seventy some yards last week
and easy win versus the Giants. So they're gonna want

(48:45):
to control the clock for Cincinnati today for sure. Though.
I was reading some some articles back home in Philly,
and I say, back home anything is on the east
coast of me's home in Philadelphia, New York. But the
Bengals are slowly climbing back in the playoff. For It's like,
like Brian said, they're three and four. Now you think
they're gonna just you know this, This is probably a

(49:05):
bigger game for them, obviously, but they beat the Browns
in one of those ugly games last week. So Joe
Burrow should have to he should take some shots downfield.
But today, but the Eagles secondary probably is probably one
to exploit a little bit, so we'll see what happens.
It's Oh, by the way, another spot for a teaser

(49:26):
this is this is one of my teasers here, I
teased the Eagles. I tease them with Tampa So the
Eagles with Tampa Bay is a teaser I used. I
think it's a close one, maybe even a low scoring
game here. Not often can you say you can get
a team like the Eagles in a teaser plus eight
and a half. So let's see what happens today.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
There you go. Last little thing for me on this.
I think it's interesting what Jeff said, pointing out the
Bengals wins, even their wins haven't been impressive. They beat Carolina,
that was their first one of the year. They beat
the Giants, remember that seventy seven game, and that was
a late touchdown with Chase Brown there, and even last
week against the Browns, they haven't been impressive in any win.

(50:07):
I just feel like if the Bengals had the exact
same season and they were wearing Jaguars uniforms, ah, we
would think of that way less right, like interesting, It's
kind of like the brand name thing going on, right.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
With the red point.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
How about the Bills and the Seahawks here, love this matchup.
We're expecting rain crack. I know you're on Kenneth Walker
to have a good game here. Maybe you look to
the other side as well, with James Cook. You look
at Seattle. They've got the twenty eighth ranked rush defense,
so maybe this is a heavy ground game. Obviously the
Bill's getting Amari Cooper is big, but something to keep

(50:45):
your eye on. The rain expected in this spot.

Speaker 4 (50:48):
It's weird. It never rains in the Pacific Northwest forecast
for this game. It's kind of it's weird. Another game, guys,
where I don't know if I have a great feel
either direction for this one. What look Seattle, Obviously you'll

(51:11):
impressive win last weekend, but I think we all thought
they were gonna win and cover last weekend. Gis plays
really well in a dome. Do we know DK metcalf
status right after That's a big part of this. I
feel like if DK is not going to play, Seattle
is a different offense, and Buffalo I think travels well.
They can play in a sort of any condition that

(51:32):
you can. You might make the case that you know,
they started slow last week and they've had moments and
in Josh Allen's tenure when they don't maybe play as
well in certch situations. But I think Buffalo is just
better than Seattle. But they're on the road. The weather,
as you mentioned, road favorites have to start coming back
down to Earth and stop covering these games. This would
be a spot where Seattle, you know, covers the three

(51:53):
points here, But crack, I don't. I don't have much
of this one. I don't have many problems. Maybe a
Seattle team total over might be a play here, but
not not not much else for for me this one.

Speaker 5 (52:06):
I actually seen a report this morning before we came
on air. There are chance of hell. I don't remember
a football game that has ever had hal before, so
that's kind of interesting one. Like, uh, anyway, these these
two teams that sit at top of their divisions. Uh again,
just like you guys said, the weather and and this
hail now could be a factor. So Seattle, you know,

(52:29):
I gotta tell you, I just don't. You're right. If
I was to lean to someone in this game, I
probably have to lean to Buffalo, if that's why the
way you were leaning a little a little bit anyway,
but you said Seattle team total over too, so they
both rely on their passing attack, So we'll see how
they adjust to this weather. Geno Smith's actually leading the
league and passing yards for this season. So what we're saying,

(52:52):
yeah you would.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
I mean, I don't think you would have ever thought
that would be leading, right.

Speaker 5 (52:56):
Oh yeah yeah. Matter of fact, couple years ago when
we first came on air, we were saying, Jesus Geno Smith,
I mean this, you know, but but you know he's
proven us wrong here. So you know, again going back
to this game, Josh Allen, welcome the Amari Cooper to
the team last week, and he did. He did contribute
immediately with four catchers and a touchdown. So, uh, maybe

(53:17):
I'm wrong. Maybe the Buffalo guy said the I mean
I said the Eagle game was going to be the
game to watch today. Maybe it's the Buffalo game. I
want to see some hail and see what happens.

Speaker 3 (53:27):
For some reason, I thought of you, if there's hail
at an Eagles game and your line of it, they
could just chuck it. At Santa Claus.

Speaker 5 (53:34):
Oh my god, they're going to be putting the jail
right downstairs, you know.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Yeah, they jail and the new one.

Speaker 4 (53:42):
But still great, great, I mean, you're the fans are
so it's funny that they have the jail in there.

Speaker 5 (53:48):
But I think you're right in the link. I don't
know if they have that and they are playing on
the road it since today.

Speaker 4 (53:53):
Did Russ would be in there for sure? We we
should ask him. He would know whether or not.

Speaker 3 (53:56):
Yes, yes, and he would definitely be give us the
whole the run down goop on the thread over there
for sure.

Speaker 5 (54:03):
Just a major line move here, guys. Just and I'm
not a major line move. I usually what do we
do with lightning bolts? For that? I forgot? I forgot there.
It is Wow. We are producers, are aren't they great?
They're right on top of it. But I'm seeing a
couple threes now minus three, minus twenty on Green Bay
Jacksonville going down. Uh, Brian and and and Jeff both

(54:26):
putting this out there and moving the line nationally. So
just want to let you guys know, seeing some some
some good lines there, big line moves. All thanks to

Dolphins today. Dolphins favored by four and a half to
to he's back medically cleared from the latest concussion, so
he will go and really interested to see this offense.

(56:05):
It's all about timing, precision. What will it look like
with Tua missing the past six games? I love Tyreek
Hill being so excited, he says, the fantasy managers start me, baby,
I'm back now that Tuoa is back. So very interested
to see this Dolphins offense. By the way, they have
the number one pass defense in the NFL. But it's

(56:28):
all focuses on the offense and how does it look
with Tua being back?

Speaker 4 (56:32):
All Right, this is the same thing I'm gonna say
about the Cleveland Browns when we get to that game
in a second. All right. So I've been fortunate to
play with Alex Smith, Eli Manning, like some real good quarterbacks, right,
Hall of Fame guys, great guys, great quarterbacks, Jake Delome,
you know, Matt Moore, Like I've had the opportunity play

(56:53):
the two quarterbacks. And what happens in a practice week
when you play with a good quarterback or someone you
try us, isn't you know, like things go well right,
and you practice goes well and you feel confident it's
all about confidence. I don't believe in like momentum per se.
It's more about confidence, right like you feel if any
play you run is going to be successful and it's
supposed to work in practice, of course, you're going into

(57:14):
the scout team. More importantly, though, when you do go
against the defense a couple you know, you do a
two minute dro typically once a week against the starting defense.
You know, they see that you're confident and you're playing well,
and they're confident that you can help them because defense
is a position that, in my opinion, requires the help

(57:37):
of an offense to be good. The offense doesn't need
a defense to be good. Our jobs to score as
many points as possible. Of course, it'd be nice if
the defense, you know, has a stop or two, but
it doesn't matter. That's our job of score points. The
defense needs you to not go three and out right
to have some rest. The defense needs you to give
the other team or put them in a bad field position,
right like they need the other team to be pressing

(57:58):
the score points like they need these things. They need
that feel the emotional support of the offense. So when
you're in practice, you have a bad quarterback, a guy
is not good. The whole team sees that, and they're
not very confident you're gonna win. I've been this spot
before with bad quarterbacks. You practice like you're gonna win
the game. Of course you do, right, You prepare like
you're gonna win the game, all those things, but you

(58:19):
sort of know you're gonna lose, all right, And then
with two So that's a Dolphin situation, right, It's a
Brown situation until this weekend. Guys, now now to it
comes back. You heard Tyreek Hill, you heard the happiness. Okay,
everyone knows you have a chance to win again. So
you prepare all week like you have a chance to win,
and mentally you know you have a chance to win,

(58:40):
and you're confident. Not only does the offense play better,
the defense now plays better. It's my Brown's argument. I
don't know how about the Browns, but think about the Browns. Okay,
they have very good football players with the worst quarterback
since since two thousand and that's what de Shaun Watson.
He's gone. Imagine practice this week without him, Like, imagine
how happy that the team field they have Jamis Winston

(59:01):
as their quarterback. Like so with the with the with
the Dolphins. I think we get like, I think it's
a big win today, guys. I think it is a
multiple touchdown win. I know Bron's happy to hear that.
I do have many Dolphins season win total unders now,
so I'm kind of hoping that it's like a one
week boost and then go back to losing a little
bit for my win totals. Nonetheless, though, I think I

(59:22):
think this is a game where it is going to
be a big Dolphins win. Maybe I'm a little too
confident in this one, guys, Brian, but you're your Dolphins,
and I feel like what I just said is what
Tyreek Hill was trying to say in that interview.

Speaker 5 (59:40):
Yeah, yeah, you know, guys, Like real quick, I'll just
tell you you guys, I'm gonna hint, well, I might
as well just give it out now. So but I mean,
it's going to be the end of the game, end
of the show. But I also want to since we're
on this game now, Yeah, I am going to be
on over myself on Dolphins Hill receiving your I was

(01:00:00):
just looking at MGM's eighty two and a half to
a back and the emphasis on getting him the ball again,
seeing that in a little press conference clip. So yeah,
I think that's going to happen later round. I'll give
that out again at the end of the show. But
you know, the Cardinals beat the Charge of seventeen fifteen
last week, with James Connor leading the way with one
hundred and fifty two I think it was yards. Murray

(01:00:22):
struggled in the win, though he only threw for like
one hundred and forty some yards. He really struggled the
Dolphins coming off in the ugly sixteen to ten lost first.
The Colts have lost three out of the last four
games without Tua. Who you know, this is a big boost,
like you guys said for the team today to get
him back. Scary situation though, with all his concussions. At

(01:00:42):
everyone watching, we're gonna be on like pins and needles
when when this guy gets a concuss takes a hit.
I really just just like, oh my god, I'm just
feeling for him. So I don't even know if he
should be out there, but he like lives and breeds football.
It's just literally impossible to keep him off the field
if he's clear by the doctors. Jeff, by the way, I.

Speaker 4 (01:01:08):
So I am uncomfortable. I will be uncomfortable watching him
play today. All right, Okay, it's gonna be I remember
feeling this way about Alex Smith, but he came back
from his leg injury. Remember he played the Rams and
he got sacked, like his first play of the game,
Aaron Donald sacked him a little. Their situation because not
the head injury, it's going to be uncomfortable watching to
a play and I was a little disappointed. And how

(01:01:30):
defiant he seemed about it this week, Brian, Like, he
seems very defiant about like. Look, so two things are
dre here, right. One is we can have our personal
feelings about whether he should play or not. The second
part is he's a level competitor, right, a plus competitor.
Doctors clear to him. So he's gonna play again, right,

(01:01:51):
even though it might make us feeluncomfortable. And the first
hit he takes today, we're all gonna cringe. And I
think the thing that is as difficult is that we
all believe it's gonna happen again, you know, because it's
happened in many different ways. Hitting the back of his
head right, running into it, you know, he kind of
just that and we had I was doing another show

(01:02:11):
yesterday and we had a Dolphins reporter on who said
they're trying to limit him from doing those extra things.
I'm like, how do you do that? How do you
tell quarterback like don't if you scramble, like don't get
hit like it's it's it's hard. So even though we
might be uncomfortable and crack, I totally am. I'm with
you on this one hundred percent. It makes me uncomfortable
to watch him play. He's a competitor and he got cleared.

Speaker 5 (01:02:37):
Have you ever had a concussion?

Speaker 4 (01:02:39):
So I think I had one. Now, Remember I played
a different era of the NFL crack where early in my
career there was no protocol. You just you just played.
I had one, I believe in the NFL that was it.
I was pulling. I went to cut someone, they went low,
we hit helmet to helmet. I remember sort of like

(01:03:00):
wobbling back to the huddle, and I was fine once
I got back in the huddle. But like I would
have been taken out of the game, and I was fine.
I know, no headache, no like long obviously still very bright.
I haven't lost any of my intelligence or.

Speaker 3 (01:03:10):
My ability to make it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
Actually once in college I remember I'm very I have
a good memory, and I remember every play that happens
in a game or practice. And I was watching film
in an Oregon team meeting. I didn't remember anything. I
got kicked in the head as I went to cut
someone again. So two separate times in this thing.

Speaker 5 (01:03:29):
You know, I'm friends with a lot of doctors. Just
got a quick text from one, a good guy. He said,
this explains Jeff's.

Speaker 4 (01:03:37):
So I broke cracks hard. You could see them.

Speaker 5 (01:03:46):
I could.

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
I broke cracks heart with my like with my my
tiny unit moneyline parlay I make once a week for
college football.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Just real fast though, with your what you're say and
Jeff to put a bow on the twis stuff worth
with him being a bit defiant during the week with
some of his comments. And this is a portion of
what he had to say in terms of the people
out there, fans, players, coaches, all being concerned about his

(01:04:18):
well being. Here's what he had to say about that,
which I thought was a pretty interesting comment. Check it out.

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
I appreciate your concern, I really do. I love this
game and I love it to the death of me.

Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
That's it, okay, So I get it from to a
standpoint where think of it. Think if you're in this
position where it's one thing, if family friends, people you
actually know and love might have some advice for you.
Think if complete strangers are weighing in with what you

(01:04:50):
should do, you know what I mean? There comes a
point where you're like, thanks, I got it right. And
that's what I think you're hearing from Tua where it's like,
appreciate your concern, Now butt out because this is my decision.
I would feel the same way.

Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
But but he also, to be fair, shouldn't be listening
to people on social media about his decision to play
or not. That's that's that's his I think. Look, I
think there's this generation. I guess I'm part of it,
but like cares way too much about what people tell
you on social media? Who cares? Man? People people hate

(01:05:26):
them like you hate you? You hate I'm like, what
do you? I don't, I don't care what you say.
I just block people immediately.

Speaker 5 (01:05:32):
Who cares blocking the move?

Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
I love me people. I meet people in real life
that they're like, you know, they shake my hand and
take a selfie with me, and they go on Twitter
and tell me I'm the terrible person. It's tu as,
shouldn't TUIs, shouldn't should not listen or even comment? And
when people tell him on social media about his concussion,
will the doctors tell you?

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:05:52):
Does your family tell you? What do you think? It
seems silly to like even comment on that. Brian, in
my opinion, what what?

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Well?

Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
He was asked about it, that's why, you know, I
get it.

Speaker 4 (01:06:03):
But he should just say, like, who cares if people
say on the internet. I think that should have been
his answer.

Speaker 3 (01:06:08):
Well, hey, listen. I don't think it's keeping him up
at night or anything. It'd be like this, if you
are random, hypothetical You're at the gas station on a
motorcycle and someone comes up to you, total stranger and
it is like it's really dangerous. You should wear a helmet.
You might be like hey, or you might be like,
get out of my face. And I think that's the
word to what is right now, right where it's like cool,

(01:06:31):
you're you're concerned, cool, thank you nice, Now leave go away. Yeah,
And I totally understand that.

Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
Now.

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
Someone we would not tell to leave would be Isaac
Loewan Krown. That's the last thing we would say. We
would say, oh, you're welcome here anytime. I Low and
he's here with the latest. What is going on, mister
Isaac Loewen Krown?

Speaker 8 (01:06:55):
Oh sorry, guys, I was just clapping back at someone
who has trolled me on social media.

Speaker 7 (01:07:01):
I just can't let that slide. Yeah, so you'll give
me a second here, I just got to finish out
this reply.

Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
They call you the the KD of update anchors.

Speaker 8 (01:07:10):
Well KD calls himself the I Low of bas All right,
so try this one on for size. I'm gonna reply,
as Dorothy Parker once said, wind has truth in it. Wise,
cracking is merely callisthenics with words.

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 8 (01:07:31):
Yeah, that's gonna that's gonna leave those trolls shaking. Well,
we're gonna start with an item that might leave Cincinnati
Bengals fans shaking, because receiver T Higgins is indeed inactive
against the Philadelphia Eagles today because of a quad injury
sustained in practice on Friday.

Speaker 7 (01:07:47):
However, good news for.

Speaker 8 (01:07:48):
Dolphins fans, Tyreek Hill is active for their game today
against the Arizona Cardinals after he was listed as questionable
with a quad injury. Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey inactive
at Cleveland today with a knee injury. However, Ravens receiver
Z eighth Flowers is active. Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis
indeed inactive for their game at Detroit with a shoulder injury,

(01:08:09):
so Mason Rudolph will get the started quarterback. The Pittsburgh
Steelers downgraded running back and returner Corderyl Patterson to out
for Monday night football against the Giants because of an
ankle injury. They added backup quarterback Justin Fields to the
injury report. He is now listed as questionable with a
hamstring injury. In Game two of the World Series on
Saturday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York

(01:08:30):
Yankees four to two for a two games to non lead. However,
Dodger superstar show Hey O'tani partially dislocated his left shoulder
while sliding into second base in the seventh inning.

Speaker 7 (01:08:41):
Here is an update for manager Dave Roberts.

Speaker 9 (01:08:43):
He had a little left shoulder subliction, and so we're
gonna get some tests at some point tonight tomorrow, and
then we'll know more in the next couple of days.
But the strength was great, the range of motion good.
So we're encouraged.

Speaker 7 (01:08:59):
And with that, fellas, as all yours, thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:01):
I LO. It is Fox Sports Radio Scamtdown to Kickoff,
presented by BETMGM all season long. Bet MGM's offering you
a second chance on your first touchdown bet in the NFL.
When a customer place is an NFL wager on a
first touchdown score bet and he doesn't score first but
score second, bet MGM will return one hundred percent of
their stake back in cash. All right, let's do this.

(01:09:24):
Let's go rushing.

Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
Let's second chance score.

Speaker 4 (01:09:28):
It's might be our last opportunity.

Speaker 5 (01:09:30):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
All right, fellas, we're looking for a first touchdown scorer,
and with this bet MGM promotion, if they don't score
first but score a second, we get our steak back
in cash. So we'll start with you crack anybody you
like as a first touchdown score.

Speaker 5 (01:09:44):
You know again because of this great deal, in this
great promo at bet MGM where you get your money back.
I'd like to pick someone that's low, you know, lower odds,
because chances are they're going to get a touchdown door
in the game. So if they get that second one,
you get your money back. Let's go with Deeric Henry
today at bet MGM plus three to one to get
the first score and if he doesn't, hopefully he gets

(01:10:06):
a second score.

Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
There we go. Okay, I will take pull up my
app right here. Let me give you a David Montgomery
plus four hundred lines running back. I'll get the Titans.
I mean score a lot of points and they run
the football and he's just starting running back. So for
not first, he'll if you're not first, your last, No,

(01:10:30):
he'll get the He'll get one of those.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
It's so funny. There are so many players in the NFL,
and before you guys went, I'm like, man, are they
gonna take my player here? You know that's why I
think how many guys are potential touchdown scorers? Today, I'm
gonna go with Kareem Hunt Chiefs running back here, and
it's a little bit of your thinking crack where it's
it's four to one and listen to odds. Just go

(01:10:54):
from there ten to one, eighteen to one. You could
go for a much longer shot than that. But it's
my theory on Olympic basketball, you know what I mean,
where sometimes you don't want to bet on Team USA
because the payout isn't that great. It doesn't wow you,
and all of a sudden you're like, I've got Lithuania
to win the gold medal and it's like, yeah, but

(01:11:15):
they're not going to that's the only problem with that.
So the point is, Kareem Hunt four to one, four
to one is a good hit, you know, and I
think he's got a great chance to score first. So
the point is, don't kind of like shrug your shoulders
at a potential four to one payout because you want
a ten to one or a fifteen to one. At
fort to one is a good.

Speaker 5 (01:11:35):
Hit, especially because of this promo. Guys, like, if you
ask me someone to score first in the game and
I was to make that bet for the Super Bowl
or something, it wouldn't be on someone low. It'd be
you know, five to one or greater. So this particular
situation with BETMGM is the reason why I always try
to pick someone like you guys said four to one
of three to one or something like that.

Speaker 3 (01:11:55):

Speaker 3 (01:13:23):
Okay, man, so many opportunities here, Krack, We'll start with you.
What do you like prop betting?

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Why?

Speaker 5 (01:13:29):
I mean only because you guys know I sent you
guys a ton of them. I'm gonna go. Let's go
with Baker Mayfield under his passing yards and let excuse me,
I'll get the number one second. Listen, all of his
weapons really are hurt, So I think campus should be
run heavy in this game today. So a Baker Mayfield

(01:13:49):
under two twenty seven and a.

Speaker 4 (01:13:51):
Half passing yards, Okay, I like it. I'm gonna go
with Kareem Hunt. Were seventeen and a half rushing attempts
for the Chiefs today he's had. He had fourteen his
first game in as the charters, but since any had
twenty seven and twenty two. It's what the Chiefs are.

(01:14:11):
They run the football. They you know, they're gonna probably
target Hopkins a little bit if he plays today. Obviously,
there's been active lists not really out yet. There's no
there's no although the numbers are finally up yet Okay,
and then I also like the younger Hopkins over three and
a half receptions, But it's sort of what the Chiefs
are right, and I think cream Hunt just you know,
last the fourth quarter gets seven to nine carries, probably

(01:14:34):
the fourth quarter. This is the Chiefs sort of saultless
game away. So I got cream Hunt over seventeen point
five rushing attempts.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
Okay, yeah, I'm gonna go with Rock Bauers. I'm actually
gonna go the Raiders tight end. I'm gonna go under
six and a half catches. I know it's risky because
who else are the Raiders throwing the football too? You
got a random collection of wide receivers there. But I
think the Chiefs, I know, the Chiefs just do a

(01:15:07):
great job of limiting what an offense does best. And
I would expect for Spagnolo to be focused on brock Bauers.
Brockhead a really good game last week, and he's he's
the main option for Minshew. So I think that if
you limit Bouers, what are the Raiders going to do

(01:15:28):
to move the ball offensively? So I'll take under six
and a half catches for brock Bowers. You like that one. Jeff,
you're a Chiefs guy. Well, they're gonna.

Speaker 4 (01:15:37):
They're gonna try to take him away because to your point,
what else they're going to do. Yeah, I am worried.
If the Raiders are smart, they were trying to get
him on Bulkan, but they're not going to do that.
So I'm excited for Antonio Pears kick as meaningless field
goal at some point this day. I did that Raiders
plus seven, So it's pretty glad I kicked that field
goal with it last.

Speaker 3 (01:15:55):
Week a couple of weeks ago, last week.

Speaker 4 (01:15:57):
Yeah, king of kicking field goals, man, that don't matter
to the actual score.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
Maybe Daniel Carlson, the Raiders kicker right.

Speaker 4 (01:16:05):
Over attempts whatever it is field goals, you know, Yeah,
that's actually not a bad wager. So yeah, there's a look.
I can't even count the amount of props, cracks and over.
I cannot wait to just I you know, I try
to try to. I know Cractic doesn't really keep track
of these throughout the day, Like I think, here's so
many of them. I normally try to, but there's too many.

(01:16:26):
There's too many to keep track of. This week I can't.
I'm looking forward to it. It's gonna be a wild
all these box scores up. Just checking box scores as
we go throughout the day to see what I see,
what I can see, see what we win and lose.
We still got we haven't got any voice picks yet.
It's kind of upseting. Oh wow, that's why.

Speaker 5 (01:16:44):
The voice becauext the voice.

Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
The voice called college team lost. So a little bit,
a little bit wait, oh no, nothing yet, nothing yet,
just nothing yet. Nope.

Speaker 3 (01:16:59):
By the way, you mentioned Baker Mayfield without his main
weapons today. Obviously, what do you think about Baker throwing
another interception? He's got seven for the season. If you
look real quick, let's see Atlanta's defense. They've got five interceptions.

Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
On the year.

Speaker 3 (01:17:16):
You're tied for twelfth in the NFL. I just think
that there's high potential for just a miscommunication. I'm not
used to McMillan being my main guy, right like, he
cuts it off at twelve, it's supposed to be ten.
I could see Baker throwing a pick today against the Falcons.

Speaker 5 (01:17:32):
Yeah, yeah, I'm rooting for you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
Wait a minute, you're not gonna.

Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
You know, I'm not gonna die then no. But but however,
though it makes it does make sense though, so no interesting.
I have to see what that line is. Did you
bet that already, Brian.

Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
I'm going to I haven't had a chance to, but
that was one of the ones I had circled.

Speaker 5 (01:17:52):
Yeah, and I had a couple of things on didn't
I send you guys a couple of things on Baker?

Speaker 2 (01:17:57):
I bet.

Speaker 5 (01:17:57):
I bet a couple of different bets on Aer today Under.
But yet I actually lean to the team though I
put them in a team. You know how hard it
is to great things and watch things. It's I'm rooting
for them to cover the teaser, but I'm so when
he goes back to pass, I'm like, you know, like
just just think about how it's It's really hard. Do
you guys bet the same game side and total. It's

(01:18:20):
hard to bet the same game side and total. Good
luck betting a team and Under put it that way.
You're rooting against him to get to You want him
to get a first down, but don't get too much
of a first down, right, It's so crazy. Just give
me the final, give me the box score like that.

Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
Yeah, no doubt. If you have enough bets. It's so
difficult to thread the needle right, you need your props
to you need your side or your total. It's not easy, man,
not easy at all.

Speaker 5 (01:18:46):
Yeah. Literally, you guys tell me. Like the last few weeks,
I think Jared's on the Tech show, Jared's been telling
me the record I didn't know, like the record of props.
I really didn't know. I depend on you guys to
tell me, and if not, I'll check later on during today.

Speaker 3 (01:18:59):
So yeah, no doubt. All right, come it up next.
It is a Marquee matchup, but the records for both
teams are not exactly what we thought they would be.
We'll dive into that matchup and beyond as we get
you set for Week eight. Welcome in, Happy Sunday to you,
only an hour away until kickoff. Here in week eight,

(01:19:23):
the nightcap Sunday Night Football. We got the Cowboys and
the forty nine Ers. Cowboys three and three, Niners three
and four. A lot of people weren't expecting that at
this point of the season. Yet hey, here we are.
And the injuries. Man, that's the news. With the Niners
here line movement, there's some money coming in on San Francisco.

(01:19:45):
They're up to a five and a half point favorite.
Now at bet MGM, but losing Brandon ny Yuk for
the season to his ACL and his MCL. Last week
against the Chiefs, Deebo Samuel he missed pretty much the
tire game. He had to go to the hospital with
pneumonia like illness. He had symptoms there, fluid in his lung, lungs,

(01:20:08):
the whole thing. So that's the question for the Niners,
with no Iyuk, with no Christian McCaffrey, what is Brock
Purdy going to look like? And last week he did
not look good. He threw three interceptions, so obviously he
has to look a lot better this evening against the Cowboys.
And that's always been the question about Purdy. I think, listen, Jeff,

(01:20:32):
some people take it a little bit too far, but
there is some truth to it as well, where he's
not solely a product of the talent around him, but
absolutely he benefits from the talent around him, and we
don't when he doesn't have the same talent. Sometimes you
see the difference in production. So we have to see
if tonight is a similar story or if he corrects
that going forward.

Speaker 4 (01:20:52):
Do you know the Niners wide receivers are for tonight?
Debo let's say Deebo plays, you're Saul Pearsall who got
shot three months ago, two months ago, Ronnie Bell and
Cowing and the Niners. The Niners passing game gets a

(01:21:15):
little bit of scrutiny because it's it's not the drop
back passing game, right, it's not like an extensive menu
of pass plays, and it's not, to be honest with you,
a very creative drop back passing game. The Niners are
very good when they're on schedule, right, running the football,
plaction pass and sort of the pass game wrapped into

(01:21:35):
those two things. And you know, Shaneahan has not shown
the best ability to adapt and adjust to personnel. So
I don't know how they move the ball today. Now,
the Cowboys defensive line is not good, and they've been
pushed around all season. Now they're off of buy though
off a super embarrassing loss, right, and they're they're pros. Right.
They lost forty seven to nine, was that what it

(01:21:58):
was or forty nine to seven? Yeah, and it was
so bad for them. The Lions called three plays for
offensive linemen, Okay, like it was. It was super embarrassing,
And so I really think that we'll get a good
Cowboys performance today. I don't know if it can sustain
for sixty minutes. But they're off of by everyone's challenging them.
How good are they? How good are this and that?

(01:22:20):
But the Niners, I don't know how they moved the football.
How do they move the football in this game? When
party has not looked the same without his weapons there
and they don't have the weapons there. Crack, I'm surprised
not taking money today. I am. I'll probably have the
Cowboys in my crack challenge.

Speaker 5 (01:22:36):
Wow. Interesting, Yeah, this is probably because I seen last
night before went the bed chefter was tweeting some things
out and maybe you know a lot of the couple
of the San fran guys were healthier than he thought.
So I've seen that line start to move from four.
This is one of the ones that we thought could
be like the NFL. I'm sorry, NFC Championship preview, but

(01:22:58):
the Cowboys are only three three and let's just face it,
the preseason Super Bowl cold favorites forty nine ers are
three and four. So Dallas coming off a much needed
bye week after absolutely getting embarrassed by the Lions forty
seven to nine. I think it was two weeks ago
home field hasn't really meant anything this year for them,

(01:23:20):
so losing all three home games and winning alls free
on the road. Conversely, so they've been horrible on defense
with either two stars Lawrence and Parsons. So I just
and also the forty nine ers are still missing some
components to their offense, so they're going to be without
Auk the rest of the season. Purties other two targets,

(01:23:42):
Kittle and Debo, they're listed as questionable. But yet I
did see that they were going to going to try
to play Sank Kittles last night that I haven't seen
it this morning, but so I just think that this
was going to be like a big game when the
schedule put it out there. The Cowboys are going to
go into a try to establish to run today and

(01:24:03):
take some pressure off deck. And you know what, I
want to just tell you something you said before. If anything,
believe it or not, I would lean towards you said, Brian,
did you said there was a couple going to five
and a half? Yeah, there is one five and a
half and oh yeah, bet MGM five and a half.
Jesus boy, I tell you what, I think there might
be some more sand fram money even, but if that

(01:24:24):
goes to six, this might be a Dallas game. Yeah,
this may have to be lightning the thunder, a Dallas
game plus the six here if that, If that happens,
I'll look for it later on. The public is going
to be betting primetime game, trying to get out from
all their losses in the daytime if they're not listening
to our show, so they may they may force sant
Fran and force the hand here. But so if anything,

(01:24:47):
I'm leaning the dog.

Speaker 3 (01:24:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And what you're saying, both you guys
running the ball man crack. It's just weird to see Dallas.
They're the worst rushing offense in foot They average seventy
seven rushing yards per game, and obviously you got establish
the run better than they have, and they're going to
try to tonight against the Niners. But the question is

(01:25:12):
will they right? Like they're gonna try all they can,
but I don't know if they're going to establish a
running game. So we'll see. How about the other primetime
game Monday night Tomorrow night, Giants at the Steelers. And
my guy Jeff Daniel Jones, he got benched last week.
You know, I have my season long prop on Daniel

(01:25:34):
Jones to go over his passing yards and people look
and they're like, do you watch football? Do you pay
attention to the NFL? It's like I do. It's just
so insanely low. He's got to get to let's call it,
twenty seven hundred passing yards for the season, and he's
more than on track. I just don't like seeing him
getting benched for Drew Locke. So yeah, we'll see if

(01:25:55):
Daniel Jones can get back on track. Good debut for
Russell Wilson, see if he can run it back. But this,
dad is crazy. Listen to this. I saw this this week.
This is wild. So Russell Wilson in his career, he
has been sacked nearly as many times as Tom Brady,
and Tom Brady played ten more years and than Russ,

(01:26:18):
and they've almost been sacked the same amount of times.
Brady was sacked only thirty seven more times than Russell
Wilson in his career. And you think about that in
a game like this where the Giants in terms of
sacks they lead the league. They've got thirty one sacks
on the season. So Russ getting the ball out and
not taking those sacks is gonna be a big deal

(01:26:38):
in tomorrow night's game.

Speaker 4 (01:26:40):
Well, look, the Giants are in a bad place right
now offensively, camp balk for Danie eight sacks last weekend
the Eagles. Now I played Pittsburgh, who wins? Sort of
one way Giants team total under I think is to
play in this one. They didn't even try to run
ball last week? How are they gonna score point? How

(01:27:02):
are they gonna score points? I mean, you're gonna need a
freak Daniel Jones like Zone Reed, keeps the ball, does
some crazy things type of game for this one to
be close. The thing about the Steelers and Russell Wilson
is is it's it's funny how one play can be
a butterfly effect for a season. So let's talk even
looking collech football, like Colorado beating Baylor changed their season.

(01:27:25):
They're six and two now Colorado is they lose that game?
Whole different season for them? Right? One play, one hail
Mary play. If Garrett Wilson catches that football that bounced
off his chest for an.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
Interception, Oh gosh, yeah, that.

Speaker 4 (01:27:38):
Game is different right because the Steers immediately scored. They
got the ball of one yard line twenty three, fifteen
games over. If he catches that ball, are we in
the Jets score touchdown and get a field goal? We're
probably not talking about Russell Wilson in the same way.
He underthrew two balls to Pickens. Pickens made great plays.
He did make some nice throws. He had the one
the fade to him for touchdown. I'm not sure Russell
Wilson is like as go as we want to think

(01:28:01):
he was after that game. I think he's still the
same quarterback. But they did a good job. It's done
a game plan around with his strengths. But crack, I
don't know the jihantson have scored much in this game.

Speaker 5 (01:28:11):
Yeah, you know, but this total is real low too.
So when you look at at a team with getting
six or more points situation, here the totals, you know,
thirty six. Listen, this is not the most exciting Monday
night matchup that everyone wanted. But and everyone questioned Mike
Tomlin last week when he went there, Russell Wilson too,
So it looks like tom He might have been right

(01:28:31):
though with Wilson and and but this Steelers, this Steelers
team just they bothered me. They like they played Dallas
a couple of weeks ago, like they almost won the
game at the end, they and they and they were
like it was like three interceptions, like they they really
even got lucky to be in it. So you know,

(01:28:51):
I'm just not, if anything, I leaned the dog here.
The Giants fans have been all over the their quarterback too,
like you said, Brian, but this team has just way
more issues than just a quarterback. Though. It's not all
Daniel Jones fault for sure. So he's literally running for
his life on every play, like you guys said out
how much it was sacked last week and pressured and

(01:29:12):
eighty percent of his dropbacks were pressured. So New York
desperately needs to establish a running game and take some
of the pressure off Jones and also protecting him. I'll
probably be watching games for the other World Series and
not this dumpster fire.

Speaker 3 (01:29:27):
But this kind of goes to what both of you
are saying, especially you Jeff. Where how are the Giants
going to score points? This is not a great stat
So the Patriots, how good is their scoring offense? Would
you say?

Speaker 4 (01:29:41):
Pretty?

Speaker 3 (01:29:42):
Pretty freaking terrible?

Speaker 5 (01:29:43):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:29:43):
Yeah, Well, the Giants are tied with the Patriots in
scoring offense. They're both thirtieth with fourteen point one points
per game. So and they're going against the Steelers defense,
and it's like, you guys are saying, with that pass
rush and t J. Watt, what are you gonna do?
You're ideally gonna run the football and throwing it. You're

(01:30:06):
gonna throw a bunch of quick hitters, you know. So
maybe a lot of completions for Daniel Jones, but I
wouldn't look for any like prolific passing yards or any
He does have Elak neighbors back there, but this is
a limited offense going against a good defense with a
solid pass rush. That is not a good formula for
the Giants offense to just break out on Monday Night.

Speaker 4 (01:30:29):
Yeah, I think it's gonna be pretty tough. We have
some some some voice picks, by the way, Okay, only
one side though, Bill's minus three.

Speaker 5 (01:30:38):
All right, So okay, I just.

Speaker 4 (01:30:41):
Look, I can't do the fading of the props. It's
just too much.

Speaker 5 (01:30:46):
No, it's too much.

Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
So I'm gonna take Seattle plus three.

Speaker 5 (01:30:49):
Now, mean to me too, It's just fading.

Speaker 4 (01:30:52):
Props is so difficult. Also a moneyline parlay Dolphins Niners
so Brian.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
And yeah, you lose.

Speaker 5 (01:31:03):
Voice has done very bad on them, even though I
think I think last week the Voice won it. But
the money lines to give it. Give me that a game.
Give me the money lines again.

Speaker 4 (01:31:12):
Dolphins Niners. I like the Cowboys plus the points. I
went to the Cows and money line.

Speaker 5 (01:31:17):
Now yeah, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:31:19):
The Dolphins are losing, so that'd be the one I
would do.

Speaker 5 (01:31:23):
I think I gave you, guys, I told you Miami
was gonna move earlier in the week was three and
a half. It wasn't like it was three though, So
I like to get to the three but Miami and yeah,
now the Voice is just changing my mind and making
me push my bet screen here because you know, guys,
by the way, for people that that that haven't joined

(01:31:45):
us in the past about this, the Voice is just
someone that loses. And we've talked about this and in
the past it's just as good to find a losing
handicapper as a winning handicapper. So we bet against the
Voice every week, and I know it's like it's like
a laugh thing and giggling in front. It's very serious.
I bet thousands of dollars myself against the.

Speaker 4 (01:32:04):
Voice sides, and the sides are the ones the better
side because the props. It's too much to fade the problems.
The sides are always wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:32:12):
The sides are always good. Last week.

Speaker 4 (01:32:16):
It's bad. Yeah, the sides were the voice were going
to on sides last week. But what won the props?
I just I'm not doing the props.

Speaker 5 (01:32:23):
Yeah, like the Mush and Bronx tale against them. Yeah,
that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:32:28):
That's Bill Krakenberger from crack Wings dot com. Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran on Brian No coming up next.
This team used to play some beautiful football. Now they're
gritty and that is a compliment. We'll get to that
coming up. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff

we got the Chiefs at the Raidas and Jeff, I'm
curious in particular with you. You follow the Chiefs very closely.
You think this description is fair?

Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:33:29):
They used to play beautiful football. Think about Tyreek Hill
first season as a starter. Mahomes throws fifty touchdown passes,
just wide open offense, and now they're just gritty, right,
Mahomes has six touchdowns, eight interceptions. They run the ball,
they play solid defense that game last week against the Niners.

(01:33:50):
They just find little ways to maximize value. You know,
if it's a run situation, instead of just running the
ball straight up the middle, they'll run a jet sweep
and it'll break for seventeen yards. They just maximize every
little opportunity. I swear. They remind me so much of
the Brady Patriots with just like they're like the just

(01:34:13):
do your job with a different colored uniform. You know,
there are a lot of similarities with the Patriots, but
gritty team, and I mean that as a compliment.

Speaker 4 (01:34:24):
Yeah, very quickly. The voice also added Bengals minds two
and a half, so, oh, well, you would have to
make an adjustment on that one right there. The Chiefs
s way I put it. I said this the other
day that when their best is needed, they play their best, right,

(01:34:46):
and that sometimes does lead to ugliness, Brian, because when
the best is not needed, sometimes they don't play their
best and it looks ugly. But this team knows how
to win, and for them, each week is just a claw.
I'm towards the Super Bowl. Do you watch the Do
you watch the the videos put out in the locker

(01:35:11):
room celebration videos? Did you ever watch those?

Speaker 3 (01:35:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:35:14):
Sure, okay, so we've seen the Dan Campbell once. They're
like great, right, like yeah, man, like, who want to win?
Here's a game Bowl, here's two minutes of Okay, I'm
gonna tell you what the Chiefs do, because they posted
Andy Reid goes, how about them Chiefs?

Speaker 3 (01:35:30):
And then he goes and.

Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
Then he goes, all right, guys, we'll see you later.
And then Mahomes goes one, two, three. Chiefs they don't
even like come into circle anymore. Like they're at their
individual lockers just like hanging out because it's so routine
for them to win football games now and their end
goal is not to win regular season games. They know
they have to win them to get to their end goal,

(01:35:52):
but like they'ren't even fighting up to win win games anymore.
Like they just like, cool, we won another game we're
supposed to win. Left, let's get ready for next week.
So that explains the way they'd play, right Crack and
right Brian, where they're just playing to get the outcome
of a win. However they have to do it and
some ways agree than not, but they don't care. There's

(01:36:14):
no style points. If they win this game ten to
seven today, they do not care. Just guess the next week.
So that explains it.

Speaker 5 (01:36:21):
Well. I think I've seen some of the talking heads
last week, like on the recap, just keeps saying the
Chiefs just aren't as good as last year, but they're
getting the job done. But listen, they just keep winning games.
So now the last undefeated team in the NFL six
and zero looking to go seven and zero. The Raiders
have looked bad all season and they're they're upset win

(01:36:43):
against the Ravens in week two. I just still don't
understand how that happened. But Jeff's main man, Gardner Minshew
failing to score twenty points in his last three starts.
I'm just being funny there. The Chiefs are the big
favorites today. Kansas City also added Hopkins DeAndre Hopkins, and
he'll be throw them right in the action, really right away,
I think. So let me ask you something, Jeff, now

(01:37:07):
that I'm thinking of this. When you add a guy
in the middle of the season, especially a wide receiver,
how long does it take for them to be ready
to play with the new team? Like I understand it's
a crafty veteran, I'm not saying that, but how long
does it be? You know, there's all so many different
new things to get used to throw them right into
the action. I understand you know a couple of little practices,

(01:37:29):
but do you think it takes a game or two
under under their belt.

Speaker 4 (01:37:32):
It's a good question. It depends on the offense and
the coaching staff. In the quarterback. I know it's kind
of a bore answer. Would you listen to people talk
about playing in the Chiefs offense two years ago? Juju
Smith Schuster said this and Rashid Rice said this last
season that it takes like eight to twelve weeks to

(01:37:52):
get comfortable playing in this all.

Speaker 5 (01:37:53):
Wow, eight to twelve weeks.

Speaker 4 (01:37:56):
That's but that's more about right, that's more about just
playing with Mahomes, I think right because he does things
and and they're asked to do things that are not
on the paper, right where like you know, Travis Kelcey
just sort of finds a hole in the zone. You
have a play drawn up for a wide receiver and
instead of doing like exactly what's drawn up to, you know,
Mahomes might watch you in this situation. Now, I think

(01:38:19):
any people will have plays drawn up for for Hopkins
today like this is what you're gonna do, And on
paper it's very easy for him. Hey, run in run
a post run, a streak run, and he'll do it.
It's finding those little working things with Mahomes where you know,
the one thing the Chiefs do really well, it's very
very close, very unnoticed, but it's if you're looking for it.

(01:38:41):
You guys, ever, watch when like someone brings pressure, what's
in the quarterback and from my left hand side, I
see a safety come and Mahomes just throws the ball
like three yards right behind that safety, like just like,
it's not it's not it's not a called route crack.
That's just the wide receiver seeing avoid in the zone
and Mahomes is going boop and they it's seven yards,
eight yards, nine yards, like, just take it, just take it.

(01:39:03):
Take the free yards before someone comes in that zone.
I thought the ball right there, that's the stuff with
like Hopkins is not gonna do today. Rights, that's the
part that takes time to build the Chiefs offense. But
I do think and Indy Rey does this really well.
When they decide we're targeting someone, they get them the ball.
Like they're gonna find ways for Hopkins to get in
the rhythm of the offense today. But those little things

(01:39:25):
that make the Chiefs offense and take them to the
next level. It might take to the postseason form me
to feel comfortable doing that.

Speaker 3 (01:39:30):
No, that's a good breakdown, and that's what's made Mahomes
and Kelsey so good for so many years, is what
you just explained right there.

Speaker 5 (01:39:38):
Jeff.

Speaker 3 (01:39:38):
It's not hey, it's a you know, it's a ten
yard in route. It's like it's meant to be, but
it could change. It's subject to change based on what
the defense does. By the way, this is our first
glimpse of the Mahomes Rules. Remember that whole thing, right,
They're gonna hit Mahomes as much as possible the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (01:39:58):
And oh is that what they're doing now? Right?

Speaker 3 (01:40:00):
Yeah, you remember the whole off season conversation. This is
the Mahomes rules.

Speaker 4 (01:40:05):
Cool, so we're going forward to that.

Speaker 3 (01:40:07):
Yeah, all right. Technical producer Chris Purfett has something on this.

Speaker 10 (01:40:11):
Oh they want to hit him with with what army playing?

Speaker 3 (01:40:15):
Right they did?

Speaker 7 (01:40:16):
Yeah, technically he is still playing.

Speaker 10 (01:40:18):
But I mean this is not a I I don't
understand the Raiders bluster, and I've heard all this week
about they're just not a good team period, end of discussion.

Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
They are not.

Speaker 4 (01:40:34):
We have lots of unders on the Raiders. We I do.
I don't know if crack I have lots of hammering,
lots of Raiders under so fine with me? I mean, yeah, awesome,
sounds good. Yeah, I'm looking at my Yeah, I got yeah, yeah, right,
I got. I got a bunch of Raiders unders. So
keep losing would be great.

Speaker 3 (01:40:53):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:40:55):
I feel like for my futures for this year, guys,
college footballs gonna be a sweat. I feel like the NFL.
I've done good. I think I'll be okay in the NFL.
But some of these these couge win totals, like Buddy,
could be some ugly heading into the last couple weeks
of the season for college football.

Speaker 3 (01:41:13):
Just waiting for one more Oklahoma loss. You know we're
good to go, you can catch.

Speaker 4 (01:41:18):
I have Rutgers over six, Wintery started four and oh
and it's it's gonna push probable.

Speaker 3 (01:41:23):
They're looking they've gone downhill fast. But yeah, great start
from them.

Speaker 4 (01:41:27):
But yeah, I got yeah, I got some yeah, not
grading college football.

Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
We got some line movement to update you on coming
up next first though, we've got some eye low to
update you on basically everything else, maybe including line movement.

Speaker 5 (01:41:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:41:43):
He's got the latest right here. I love what's going on, Buddy.

Speaker 8 (01:41:46):
Indeed, we've got it all because we've got eight early
games kicking off at the top of the hour. Cincinnati
Bengals receiver t Higgins is inactive for their game against
the Eagles today because of a quad injury. Miami Dolphins
receiver Tyreek Hill is active against Air. He'd been questionable
with a foot injury. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Marlon Humphrey inactive
at Cleveland today with a knee injury. Tennessee Titans quarterback

(01:42:08):
Will Levis inactive due to a shoulder injury at Detroit,
so Mason Rudolph will get the start against the Lions.
Also today, the Pittsburgh Steelers downgraded running back in returner
Cord Darryl Patterson to out for Monday night football against
the Giants because of an ankle injury. They also added
backup quarterback Justin Fields to the injury report. He's now
listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. In Game two

(01:42:30):
of the World Series Saturday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers
defeated the New York Yankees four to two for a
two games to none lead, but showhy Otani left the
ball game after partially dislocating his left shoulder while sliding
into second base in the seventh inning. Here was a
post game update from Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

Speaker 9 (01:42:48):
He had a little left shoulder subliction, So we're gonna
get some tests at some point tonight tomorrow, and then
we'll know more in the next couple of days. But
the strength was great, the range of motion good, so
we're encouraged.

Speaker 8 (01:43:03):
Finally, we have some w NBA news today. The Indiana
Fever has parted ways with head coach Christy Side. So wow,
Caitlin Clark and company is gonna have a new head
coach next season.

Speaker 7 (01:43:15):
Back to you, guys.

Speaker 3 (01:43:16):
That's kind of like the Chicago Sky they got rid
of their head coach.

Speaker 4 (01:43:21):
Come on down, Lisa Blueter Is that her name? The
Iowa former Iowa coach?

Speaker 3 (01:43:25):
Oh wow, yeah, well she retired from college, right, Like, I.

Speaker 4 (01:43:30):
Mean, you don't think that's the first call they're going
to make. Maybe maybe me and you might have watched
the most indianaf entire radio network and people that sides
got better in the second half of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:43:42):
Yeah, they did it. The defense, It's cool yet sort
of embarrassing. That is the team we've texted the most
about by far. It's not like I don't know some
NFL team or it's the Indiana Fever. Like many Techargers
and a.

Speaker 4 (01:43:58):
Lot of them, the first half season was about the
team being terrible on defense and not catching any passes.
So curious what happened here. The firing schedule for WMA
makes no sense because the season ended a month ago.
I mean, I don't know. They just keep firing these
coaches at random times, so.

Speaker 3 (01:44:15):
That is odd. Hey, shortly after the show, our podcast
will be going up. If you missed anything on today's show,
be sure to check it out. Just search Fox Sports
Radio wherever you get your podcasts. Be sure to also
follow rate and review it again. Just search Fox Sports
Radio wherever you get your podcasts, and you'll see the
show posted right after we get off the year. So
the line movement this Lions game hosting the Titans, so

(01:44:39):
it was at a solid twelve and just before I
Low's update, it ticked up to Lions minus thirteen, went
down to Lions minus twelve. Now it's at Lions minus
twelve and a half. But it is it just you know,
roller coastering up and down around twelve and thirteen for
the Lions. But that's listen, man, you can play these games.

(01:45:03):
I just look at it like this, If the Titans
score a touchdown, the Lions have to score twenty points
just to cover that spread, you know what I mean,
Like you kick a field goal if you're the Titans,
and all of a sudden there's work to be done
for the Lions. And listen, could they score thirty thirty five?

(01:45:23):
Of course they could, and they could blow the Titans out.
But that's just so many points in an NFL game.
It just is I.

Speaker 4 (01:45:31):
Haven't thought about that. If someone scores, they scored ten points,
the Lions have to score. Wow. I never thought of it. Like,
that's a really good point, Brian, Who's what crack? What
sharp group is laying the Lions this close to kickoff
to move the number?

Speaker 5 (01:45:46):
I just don't know. I think, you know, sometimes I listen,
I know that sharps make the line. I understand, but
here twenty five minutes before kickoff, thirty minutes before kickoff
sometimes in and sometimes those little bets. You know, we
talked to Christian earlier. He said, it's all Detroit money.

(01:46:06):
And at bet MGM, that's all they have is Detroit money.
So sometimes in fifty one hundred dollars bets, they equal
so much two hundred dollars dollars, it equals tens of thousands,
hundreds of thousands. Sometimes a rare time that they will
have to move because they're looking for some two way actions.
So especially when you have the you know, one of

(01:46:29):
the heads of risk coming on here saying that we
cannot make this line high enough to get any Tennessee action, So.

Speaker 4 (01:46:35):
So they're moving it just to try to get some
sharp at the other side to get to even up.

Speaker 5 (01:46:40):
Then I would think they I would think they really
need ten I would think all the sports books really
need Tennessee. There's a couple of sportsbooks in Vegacy that
are that have thirteen. So I would think they really
need Tennessee here as a big play for the sports books.
And we know when I say God protect the book
makes right.

Speaker 3 (01:46:59):
How about this crack? And Jeff, what do you think about?
Could I interest you in a Titans Panthers teaser? That's
a lot of points just with the points.

Speaker 4 (01:47:10):
I definitely do not want to watch the Panthers game.

Speaker 3 (01:47:14):
I have to crack bets and doesn't watch all these games,
but I can't.

Speaker 4 (01:47:19):
And I already have their team total under for one
of my best bets this week on my podcast, so
I will already be taking a peek at that game.
But yeah, yikes, Brian, I that was a.

Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
Hard pass by you guys. Good lord, like Titans plus
eighteen and a half eighteen and a half and you're
still like no, still can't bite crack.

Speaker 4 (01:47:39):
There was a offshore book that used to offer like
eighteen point teases. Oh god, if I if I would
admit to you that I may have done a couple
of those way back in the day. It's like ten teams.

Speaker 3 (01:47:55):
This is the same show as you're eleven leg parlay.

Speaker 4 (01:47:58):
Friend, that's cracky.

Speaker 3 (01:48:01):
He can only take so much here.

Speaker 5 (01:48:04):
Done some things back in the day that was that
was like, that was five years ago on this one,
this one offshore platform.

Speaker 4 (01:48:10):
But uh had like eighteen point tises. So you can
take the Lion and the Titians out to thirty Brian,
I would lately, I'd take thirty lad.

Speaker 3 (01:48:18):
I would hope you would take that boas today, how
about let me throw another game at you bears at
Washington and this has Jeff your big college guy. This
has a cam Rising Utah kind of feel with it
with Jaden Daniels. Is he gonna play? Is he not

(01:48:39):
gonna play? Right now? Washington is favored by a point,
which seems to indicate with the line movement that there
are a lot of betters that believe that Jaden Daniels
is going to play. If he plays, he's he's had
a special season thus far. And I'll say one thing
about Washington's defense. I'm not telling you that they're the

(01:48:59):
eighty five Bears because they're not. And there are a
lot of like analytics and metrics that you look at
it and you're like, this is not a good defense.
I think their defense is a bit better than how
they're talked about. People talk about this Washington defense like
it is freaking awful, and it's like they're twelfth against
the rush. They're eighteenth. I'm sorry, they're twelfth against the pass.

(01:49:23):
They're eighteenth against the rush. Again, not awesome, but average. Right,
They're scoring defense is fifteenth. That's average, But they're talked
about like they're one of the worst. I think they're
marginally better than how they're talked about.

Speaker 4 (01:49:36):
Defensively, they're getting better, they've gone better each week, and
they they're I liked washing plus three, by the way,
with Marioda playing in this game, so I'd gladly take
Jane Danigels plus the three. I already have the plus three.
I'm gonna sit on it. I probably won't well for

(01:49:57):
the crack challenge. I'll take on minus one, probably because
I like than to win the game out right, why
should doing some good things. They're running the football really
well too, and the defense look no surprise, they have
a defensive coach. Dan Quinn has been a good defensive
coach everywhere he's been Atlanta, the Cowboys, Seattle, and oh
he didn't maybe call everything in Seattle, but with Pete
Carroll's help, there's some surprised that season goes on. The

(01:50:19):
defense is getting better each week and that's what we're
seeing here. And the Bears, off of by don't love
their offense, so I like the Commanders anyways.

Speaker 5 (01:50:28):
In this game, yeah, this this game. Before I went
to bed last night, I went to bet pretty late.
I seen a major line move and I actually snagged
the three here in town, like literally seconds after. I
think it was just the schefter tweet right after he tweeted,
so I actually snagged it free, even though I actually
bet this earlier in the week too. I bet plus

(01:50:49):
one and a half even I bet some money line.
So this this will be an interesting game for me.
The big news of of course being that the quarterback situation.
But like Jeff said, you know, I didn't care what
the quarterback was plus three, I would take either one.
So of course I'd rather have Daniels in there if
he's healthy. The latest reports at its game time decision.

(01:51:10):
But I think he's going to give it, give it
a go. So but you know, and you know what,
Jeff wasn't Mariota. Wasn't that one of your alumni either?

Speaker 4 (01:51:20):
Or going a chance to buy well myself a chance
to have three starting quarterbacks today? Oh wow, the NFL. Wow,
Herbert Nicks, Mariota? Yeah, yeah, pretty crazy, right.

Speaker 3 (01:51:31):
And yeah, Dennis Dixon, come on, let's get so they did.

Speaker 4 (01:51:36):
So okay, So Oregon just put out a video including
Dynast six in it. They announced the uniforms for Michigan
this week. We played Michigan and we went there, not seven.
I was on that team. We were the all whites
for the first time I think in program history, all
white with a green helmet. And they're bringing all whites
back with a chrome helmet that they play Michigan. So
Dynastickson just did a video for organ Football if you

(01:51:57):
want to check it out on social media, bringing back
to all whites to face Michigan this weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:52:02):
Yeah, very cool.

Speaker 5 (01:52:03):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 3 (01:52:05):
Uh did you catch by the way Loveland the tight
end for Michigan. There was a little bit of a
scuffle at the end of the Michigan Michigan game.

Speaker 4 (01:52:13):
I love when defenders are this is trust all Radio.
I have to be careful with my words a little
a little soft to end football games. Act act act like.

Speaker 3 (01:52:26):
Okay, so Michigan is kneeling the the they're kneeling the
they're running the clock out and it's kind of like
the the Greig Chiano, right, they kind of dive at
the offensive line. You're not a fan of that, han.

Speaker 4 (01:52:38):
Jeff, Well, I did well the way to doing that.
It's just that, like you lost the game. I wish
you showed that must fight during the game.

Speaker 3 (01:52:45):
Yeah, I hear you, absolutely, I hear you. All Right,
that's Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran Bill Krackenberger from
Crack Wins with a sports handicapper. I'm Brian now all right,
coming up next, Big Scalore. I don't think you can
get any worse for me and the Crack Challenge, but
maybe it will. We'll find out what happens next, it
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM.

(01:53:09):

Series Crown, Chris Purfett, Technical producer extraordinaire, Pride of Detroit
podcast check it out Crushing the Updates, Crushing life. That
would be Isaac Loewen, Crawn and our guy Sager on Digital.
Very good job as always. Red Zone Radio comes your

(01:53:54):
way at the top of the hour. Steve Hartman, Rich
Ornberger keep it locked right here on Fox Sports Radio.
We got some picks to make. Let's do it five.

Speaker 1 (01:54:03):
Five games against the spread. We call it all the
crack Challenge.

Speaker 3 (01:54:09):
All right, Jeff, we start with you, what do you like, man,
all right.

Speaker 9 (01:54:16):
So.

Speaker 4 (01:54:18):
I got Browns plus nine and they're now seven. So yikes,
Browns plus seven, Dolphins minus four and a half, Texans
minus five. We haven't talked about that game early at all.
Texas minus five.

Speaker 3 (01:54:35):
I'll come real quick. Why do you like it?

Speaker 4 (01:54:38):
Well? The anthey richestered roller coaster on the road. I'm
I'm I'm off the roller coaster.

Speaker 6 (01:54:44):
Yea.

Speaker 4 (01:54:45):
I just don't like it. And there is a lot
that the Texans I think leave a little bit undesired,
like this need to work on some things. But I
think this is the spot where I'm okay taking the
Texans here. That's how many did that? That's three, right, yep, yes,

(01:55:05):
three Commanders minus one and give me Cowboys plus five
and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:55:12):
Okay, all right, I'm gonna go with uh a lot
of home dogs because it's it's got a change. Man,
give me the Raiders eight and a half. Right, give
me the Raiders plus eight and a half. Give me
Tampa plus one and a half. I hate that pick, right,
Like that's the way the NFL works. No Mike Evans,

(01:55:33):
no Chris Godwin, like yuck? What yeah, give me the
home dog Jacksonville I'll take him plus three and a half.
I hate that pick too. It's a week team from
a week division going up against a strong Packers team.
But that's just the way it goes sometimes.

Speaker 5 (01:55:48):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:55:49):
I'm gonna take a non home dog, but a dog. Nevertheless,
give me the Titans plus twelve and a half. What
a wowick?

Speaker 1 (01:55:56):
Yes, that's just a.

Speaker 3 (01:55:58):
Lot of points in the NFL. I don't care, and
probably I try to be as uncomfortable as possible sometimes
with these picks. I don't know a more uncomfortable pick
than Panthers plus eleven. But I'm throwing that in here
as well. Give me the double digit dogs. Yeah, I'm
on them all. I won them all. I wish there

(01:56:19):
were more. All Right, we got this to do. Let's
get into.

Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
It, rapid fire, all right, crack.

Speaker 3 (01:56:29):
What's something you like today?

Speaker 5 (01:56:30):
Man? Okay, so earlier I talked about this a little bit.
Dolphins over Hill over his receiving yards eighty two and
a half at bet MGM. I just think to his
back and his emphasis to get him the ball. So
let's go with Dolphins Hill over his receiving yards.

Speaker 4 (01:56:48):
I think you're right on it. I think this is
a good wager. I don't know why. This is one
of those where like you can force the ball to
him right and just say hey, man, like we're back,
We're back, Like, let's go get it.

Speaker 3 (01:57:00):
Absolutely past awful, Yeah they are? Anything else? Do you
want to add?

Speaker 4 (01:57:04):
Jeff one more and well mentioned the Kareem hunt one
over seventeen and a half attempts. I like Hawkins over
three and a half receptions as well. That's plus money.
Last I checked on bet MGM. So I just think
that the Chiefs sold make sure he gets the ball today.

Speaker 3 (01:57:20):
All right, fair enough, I'm going to put Baker Mayfield
in there to throw an interception. We mentioned that earlier
in the show. I just think with this receivers banged up,
there's going to be a miscommunication. He's thrown the foot.
He's thrown seven interceptions this season, so I can see
that happening again here today. All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:57:42):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 3 (01:57:44):
All right, crack man. I don't know how you whittle
it down to your best play with all of your plays,
but I want to give.

Speaker 5 (01:57:51):
People aside to a lot of some people don't get
to the prop market. Let's go Washington, commanders here on
the money line minus one fifteen bet MGM. I don't
care who the quarterback is. I think Washington beats Beats
beat Chicago today.

Speaker 3 (01:58:05):
There you go. Yeah, you'd feel a lot better if
it's Jon Daniels in there, right I.

Speaker 5 (01:58:11):
Do want Daniels in there for sure. I've wagered on
this bet so many different times plus three plus one
and a half money line.

Speaker 4 (01:58:18):
So it looks like the newest update from Tracy Wolfson
looks like Daniels will start today.

Speaker 5 (01:58:25):
Okay, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:58:26):
It's good news for both of you guys right there.
Everybody enjoy Week eight. Hope it's profitable. We'll see you soon.
