Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
That's right, and we're broadcasting live from the tire Iraq
dot com studios on a wild and crazy Saturday in
college football. We'll get to that and just some moment
coming to you in front of the tierrack dot com studios
where with you know what, I know the read I
don't have it in front of me. I'll get it
to you in a second. But ten thousand install or
something about that.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
That's how the show's starting, guys. Well it's starting to
be doing.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
It's starting like.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
That because we are now in the middle of the
game that used to meet almost everything at college football
was still a big game Alabama and LSU. We saw
Jaylen Milroe with a forty plus yard touchdown run already.
LSU running back takes the forty plus yards first and
goal for the Tigers here against the Christmas Tide eleventh
and fifteenth teams ranked in the nation.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
We got Boysey State.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
We get to watch the Answers JET Show live on
television today. Cannot wait for that ex And we just
watched We just watched Vjay both Indiana remain undefeated, go
ahead and beating Michigan and a game in which was
a lot closer than the final I mean, the final
score is a lot closer than it indicated that Indiana
(01:09):
team is for real and Michigan's defense just is you know,
offense can't keep up with the defense, unfortunately, But Miami
lost today. That Georgia Tech gave up almost three hundred
yards rushing cam Warden. That Miami team had been flying
close to the sun for the last couple of weeks
and finally they finally their wings melted. That's a Greek
mythology reference if you're new here, But VJA, where you
(01:30):
want to start? Man, because you got all of that
on the floor. And what I didn't say is Colorado.
You are in the driver's seat to get to your
first college football playoff. Hand up, my bad, I was
wrong about the Colorado Buffaloes. Yeah, yeah, well what's up?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Man?
Speaker 5 (01:45):
As always, Man, welcome everybody in Fox Sports Radio listening,
Land Martin VJ Fox Sports Football Saturday. Always blessed to
be sitting in this chair with this gentleman. Who am
I right? So college football today? I was just telling
Mark before we went on the airs, like yo, it
went down on the day, like games, it was popping
today in college football. I mainly watch out of the
nine AM, which would be the noon games back East,
(02:07):
but nine a m. For us had my eyes all
over this Miami Georgia Tech game because we've talked so
much about cam Ward over the last few weeks, him
being in the clubhouse as the leader with the Heisman
Trophy for twenty twenty four season, which I think changes
now if we continue to see gen Z do his
thing for Boise State and them continue to win football games.
But that game right there, you talk about three hundred
(02:27):
plus yards on the ground, Georgia Tech, I think only
threw the ball five times, five or six times, if
I'm not mistaken. You can't lose that football game. If
you're Miami, Haynes King and the other quarterback. Now I'm
forgetting his say, they combined for less than one hundred
yards passes.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Okay, there you go.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Less than one hundred yards passing today for them, and
ten attempts for Filo and five attempts for King, and
Kane went six of six.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Excuse me, six attempts for King.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
But when you know what's coming and you can't stop it,
that's the trenches man. That's moving men against their will,
that it's running the football football won oh one. And
then if you flip on the other side of the ball.
Georgia Tech's defense showed up today. But this is a
game for Miami that you had to go get. It
doesn't put him in any jeopardy to miss the college
football Playoff. I think it's still a good football team,
(03:14):
but it feels like now we're at the portion of
the season where it's we mess up and then it's like, okay, Cam,
go save us, and he can't do it every week.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
You have to have other composers.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
I think that's what Ohio State is gonna fall into,
is there's gonna be a game they're gonna go, will
Howard go win it for us, please?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
And he's not gonna be able to do it. That's
not what he does.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Cam Wore can do that, but you wear a guy
like Cam Moore down over the course of a season
if that's gonna be your a one game plan.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
But there was that game, and.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Then of course there was Georgia and Old Miss and
the way that game all turned out. But the early
games for me, Man was definitely the Miami Georgia Tech game,
Like I said, no, no, no danger for them. But
you know, kudos to Georgia Tech for going in there,
you know, not not bending over handed, you know what
I'm saying, and just saying taking ones like no, we're
to play, we want to compete, and we know who
(04:01):
you are.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
We know who we are. We're at home, we have
the atmosphere, and we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
What we do.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
We're gonna run the football.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Absolutely, and that's exactly what they did. Two hundred ninety
yards or two hundred and seventy yards rushing on the day.
One hundred and eighty nine in the first half. That's
one hundred and eighty nine yards in the first that's
getting beat up martin football.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
So that's getting punched in your face time and time
and time again and not having an answer.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
So, I mean it was there was a lot going
on today in the slate. A lot of that was
you know, kind of looked sexy in the beginning but
ultimately ended up being a lot of nothing. But I'll
tell you this, how about Iowa State just no show? Yeah,
no show. We had a tweeter a couple of shows
ago because we kind of sit in this spot at
well we definitely sit in this spot every week.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
But it's kind of like a college football What happened
Little pot.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Poirie, a little all over the place, little land yapp
but what happened to college football? And we got several
languageweets talking about how could you not mention Iowa State? Sure,
they go down to Kansas, Kansas with two wins on
the year, jumped out to a thirty year ahead, jumped
up to.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
A thirty one to thirteen lead over Iowa State.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Cyclones made it competitives at the end, only losing by nine,
but losing nonetheless with their second loss of the year.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Yeah, that was a bad loss for them, especially now
that you see what Colorado's doing. And I want to
take a minute to salute Prime, coach Prime and what
Colorado's doing. And Sanders and Travis Hunter up to seven
to two. I had him at nine or more wins.
I'm only two away from cashing in on that prediction
early this year, but they'm only negative three away from. Mind,
It's fine, that's cool that. Hey, listen, I miss some
(05:30):
teams too, man, I hit something. I miss some we
all doing in this business. But what I have my
eye on remember I told you them in SMU, I
thought would be number eleven and twelve. They would be
the two late teams to get in SMU. Does look
like now they can hop into a spot to get
a bye. With the Hurricanes losing earlier today too, they
can slide into that fourth spot as being a conference champion,
(05:51):
right if Miami doesn't win the conference, if the lower
team was the conference that doesn't have an undefeated record
is just one loss. So when you look at Colorado
and you look at what I State did today, that
really opened the door. You look at Colorado's remaining schedule,
it falls in their lap for them to be able
to get themselves to the college football playoffs.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
This game was gonna be the big test.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Of course, and.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
Lubiger gets a high powered, high scoring offense. And I
watched all the previews shows. I was up early just
when I watched all the preview shows. And of course
our great crew at Fox over FS one that does
their thing. But a lot of it was, oh, there's
gonna be points today, man, They're gonna be points gloring
this Colorado Texas Tech game. And none of no defenses
showed up. And that's what I want to point out
(06:34):
about Colorado their defense and.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Their offensive line.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Those are the two areas that's improved this team and
the reason why they're sitting at seven until they're finally ranked.
I'm not sure what took so long, let's get real
for them to get ranked, but sitting at number twenty,
I'm sure they'll move into the teams. But I think
when it's all set and done, they'll be able to
play for a Big twelve championship. They'll get that and
they will get the bid and be in a college
football playoff. Iowa States lost today opened the door completely
(07:01):
for the Colorado Buffalo and Coach Prime and his crew
to get to the college football playoff.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, and you outlined it already.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
The teams that are upcoming not necessarily world beaters.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
You got Utah who's got.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Four wins so far on the year, Kansas, who just
got their third win today on the year. In Oklahoma
State who is a robust Open six and conference three
and six on the year. So that excuse me combined
is what ten wins total between their last three opponents.
They should win each of those games and it should
(07:36):
not be an issue. They should be in the Big
twelve championship game, and then once that happens, you win that, guess.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
What you're into the college football playoff, which DJ predictis.
I want to hit on that one too, man, because
I would love to see the ratings for a Colorado
college football quarterfinal or semi I would love to see
how many people would tune in today.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
I think the Raiders would be off the charge.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Because two, if I had told you, as a very
ardent Colorado supporter, if I told you after that North
Dakota State game, that Colorado would be have real, a
real chance to win the national championship, I think even
you would have said, I don't know season right. But
(08:23):
what I'm saying, but like when you look at there's
two things that are going on in Colorado's favor that
are helping them to this. First of all, they're winning games.
That's the number one. They're winning games, and they're doing
it in an oppressive fashion. They're not sneaking past anybody
at this point. They're going out there and really beating teams.
The second thing is, I'm looking right now the two
(08:44):
lost Alabama team, a two lost LSU team. Right I'm
looking at the unching game a two lost Georgia team.
I'm looking at you know, these teams are Indiana's undefeated.
But that's about it. What Iowa states now with two
loss teams, everybody's losing. So like on top of Colorado winning,
everybody else has been losing.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
So when you're sitting around, you look at Miami.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
They lost the.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Game today, probably should have lost more.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
There's not going to be a robust amount of teams
with zero to one loss. Oh no, no, there's just not.
Maybe Texas, maybe Texas. I think that you're looking at
Oregon adam maximum three teams that are with zero to
one loss.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
When this is all said and done with.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
If Colorado only has two and everybody all three hundred us,
only three teams have less than two. Guess what, guys,
Deon Sanders to the dance.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
I can't wait. I can't wait either. Also really quick too, man.
The Georgia. What was your thought on the Georgia Ole
Miss game, Because there's no way I thought Georgia would
go in here and get beat up front, and they
got beat up front only fifty nine yards of rushing today.
That is not a recipe for Georgia to win on
the road. You know, in a hostle environment, it gets
a really I'm not gonna front. I knew Ole Miss
(09:59):
was good, I didn't know their defense was that good.
I watched that game today and I'm like, Wow, they
got dudes, they got Sunday guys, they got NFL guys
on their defense, especially up front. Because for Georgia not
to be able to run the football, that was really
really shocking for me today. And the fact that they
put up ten points a robust as I love to say,
(10:20):
ten points. That's and now they're not in our second
half points. Yeah, they're not out once again. Two losses,
but they have no more hiccups and they have Tennessee
coming so they can't lose anymore. We talk about what
we have live in front of us right now, is
Jalen Milroe is running RPO, I step into the corner,
leaping over or straddling over, striding over diving LSU Tigers
(10:43):
right now. Man, that's coorse seven to three, and they're
moving the ball. But when you look at this game,
this Alabama LSU game, this is an elimination game because
right we agree, you can't go to the college football
playoffs with three losses. Guys, you just can't. They actually
should put that in next year, this offseason when they
come together and go, Okay, what we liked, what we
didn't like, what we want to add, what we want
to take out. One thing they should put in this
(11:03):
three loss teams you can't go because no three loss
team would ever go to a national championship game, even
in the old college football player with the four teams
or the BCS or any the posse. Nothing you would
never get close, you would never sniff it. So I
think once they set that precedent, I think it cleans
this all up.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Man.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
I wasn't sold on the twelve team thing, Martin. But
as the season has gone on, and like you said,
as we've seen teams lose, you know what's refreshing, Martin.
We're not losing our mind over teams losing, right because
if it was just the four even the BCS, how
many teams would be out right now, All these teams
will be out, All would be every team that we
have discussed thus wouldn't be done.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Because we didn't talk about Ohio State for real, we
didn't talk about Texas or Oregon. Everything we discussed so
far would not be being discussed in this way at all.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
So that's where I'm now leading. I'm sold.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
I wasn't big on the twelve teams, but as the
year has progressed, it's if you could see them face America,
I'm smiling, grin the grind mile in ear to aar Man.
I'm grinned and big because this is really good for
college football, the business of it, the fanhead of it,
the marketing of it, the promotions of it. Like this
is great for college football. That we are in November,
we are two weeks, you know, heading towards Thanksgiving. We're
(12:14):
legitimately talking about twelve teams that we believe can win
the national championship. Because are you sold that Oregon is
the best? Are you so that Texas is the best?
Are you so that Ohio State's the best? I'll help
you out. No, you're not unless you're a fan of
one of those teams. Like if Alabama gets there, you're
telling me Jalen Milroe can't win a game or two
and then get to a national championship game, and.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Hey, whatever, it's all.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
It's all you know, all bets are off in the
championship game, right, It's yeah, So anything can happen.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
So it's the twelve team playoff.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I was wrong.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
I I'm falling in love with it the more the
years going on. The one thing, one thing is absolutely true.
Four teams was not enough.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
They've missed an opportunity back when before realignment to have
the five conference champions large. That would have been perfection.
But with the hand that you have given me.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
This is a winning because the PAC twelve was still
a conference then and we would have always gotten that
package pawelve winner.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
You know what, the Pac dweve winner would have had
this year the number one team in the nation. Thanks
a lot, jerks, very very true.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
But what we have right now, it's growing on me, man,
because like I said, we're in November, was it? The
ninth and two teams with two losses is an elimination game.
But it's big time power programs. It's not Boise stayed
in Nevada. No, not to those programs, but it's Alabama
and LSU like that. That's big and you wouldn't have
(13:36):
gotten that without the twelve team with twos.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
With two losses coming up next. Listen, I understand that
NFL Press conferences are not exactly state secrets, but I
mean we gotta at least get on the same page.
Are we lying or not? Because somebody and there in
one of their midweek press conferences today clearly did not
get the memo from upstairs. That means a whole when
(14:00):
you're a head coach. We'll get to that coming up next.

Like DJ Hammer and Hank said, what do you think
of the San Jose sharks rough start to the NFL season?
Is there hope for them to recover from this? Hank,
I got nothing love. I got nothing but love for you.
Powe have nothing but love for you, and I appreciate
you doing a dedicated listener. Yes, but I'll be honest
with you, Pal, I didn't even know the Sharks were
(15:30):
in San Jose. Listen, I.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
Wanna tell you, like this, man, Hank, I think I
think you're trolling, bro, because this is your patty. You
ask about a lot of teams and stuff we are
not even talking about. And I get it, but I'm
starting to think now, like Henk. Have you ever ever
heard Martin VJ? No, he talk about the San Jose Sharks,
DJ Hammer and Hank, who.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Do you think we win the NASCAR Championship tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (16:00):
I love it. Hey, hey, keep doing that, Bro. I
want to see we can make this a thing, Hank.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
I want to see how creative you can get with
what you ask and if we can answer it.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Coming on next stuff, stay tuned for my croche.
Speaker 7 (16:11):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I was gonna say crochet cricket takes there we go there?
Speaker 8 (16:15):
Yeah, yeah, for sumo wrestling maybe, hey, bottom barrel betch
it's freaking next, all right?
Speaker 5 (16:22):
Anyway, that would be funny if he said, hey, you
know International Sumo Championships tomorrow? Who you gott on the
plus three fifty five money line?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
VJ?
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Come on, Bucky, I don't even know. All right, that's
that's a deep cut.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
If you're a big Fox Sports radio listener, Arnie spending
your bucket Brooks with their bottom barrel bets. It's handy.
Andy Furman handed up my bed. Anyway.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Just like I made a mistake, so did Nick sire Yanni.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Today are his most recent press availabil your favorite coach,
because here's the thing. BJ. You know, I stand for
the sanctity of the injury report. You love them as
a gambler. That's why it exists. I did my I
did my ad school thesis on the impact of legalization
of gambling in the four major North American sports, and
one of the major things about it was the invention
(17:08):
of the injury report.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeap, it exists.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Why not to help the other team, not to help
your team, but to help level the playing field for gamblers.
So this is what Nick Sirianni had to say after
Jalen Hurts had what was deemed a load management day,
an NBA term sneaking into the NFL. This is what
Nick Gianni had to say when questioned about it.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, you know, he's dealing with it.
Speaker 8 (17:30):
Was on the injury report, dealing with the with the ankle,
and you know, just making sure work pre cautious with everything.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
What's that was the rest?
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yeah, sorry, I thought you were talking about something.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah, I touched it off about someone else. The thought
the question being Jalen Hurts his load management. What was
that about? I thought you were talking about something else.
So now very clearly Nick Gianni opened his mouth and
stuck his size fifty, size twelve shoe right in it.
But it just it's just one thing to show you.
It's like, okay, now, just Jalen Hurts have an ankle,
should you be concerned about Eagles minus seven and a
half against the Cowboys coming up against Cooper Rush. It's
(18:03):
just one of those things that shows you, know what,
you could have been buttoned up, You could have been
right there, but you know what you didn't. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
This was actually really confusing to me because when he goes, oh,
I thought you were talking about something else, It's like, uh, nah, no.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Bro, that's not the answer.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
You should have did it after putting it out there
that he's dealing with an ankle thing, if it wasn't
already publicly known, like if you if the plan was
for you guys to keep that a secret.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Yeah, I think you failed that part.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Brother.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
I don't know if you didn't make the meeting or
whatever the point was for you saying that, what you're not.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Invited to the meeting? Maybe so, but yo, true welcome
to the party. Yeah, welcome to the party. But he
knew so at some point he was told, but maybe
tell him he knew that Dayling Hurts did in practice. Yeah,
but the fact that you said that was okay, Wow,
where'd that come from? Oh?
Speaker 3 (18:53):
I thought you were talking about something else.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Nah, bruh.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Like I said, Man, I'm not I'm not defending him anymore,
but I'm not going out him.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Like some people do.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
I'm just kind of He's one of those guys you
just keep looking at it and just gonna Man, you
just can't get right bro, Like wow, like no wonder
people say X, Y, Z and ABC about you.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
You keep doing these.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
Things like come on, man, you're the leader, you're the
head coach. You can't have slip ups. That's that's what
I love about, Like doing a hardball presser like you
can tell Yeah, he takes his time to make sure
he says what he needs to say or what he
should say, and make sure he doesn't say what he
shouldn't say, and you just seem.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
To be or like Mike Tomlin is a good example. Yeah,
Mike Tomlin, Belichick, Mike even Belichick. Belichick was kind of
a jerk, right Tomlin. He's very forthcoming with the media.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
He will give you an answer.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
It's just not gonna be the answer to the question
that you ask that you asked, yet, right, why are
you starting Russell Wilson Because I want to basically, you
know what I'm saying, Well, for Russell to get healthy.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
We saw him compete once.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Once we saw his compete level, was able to go
out and meet the level of the Pittsburgh stayelors. We
are not we are not cowards and our convictions and
all that. You know what I'm saying, how could you
go against that?
Speaker 6 (20:01):
Like?
Speaker 3 (20:01):
Really, how could you be?
Speaker 8 (20:02):
Like?
Speaker 2 (20:03):
But it's like it's not like JJ Reddick getting up smug.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
My bad.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Okay, I'm jumping the gun, you see. I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
I'm on one today, ladies and gentlemen. I'm excited. It's
been a great college football day. My daughter's birthday was
just day that Disneyland all the great stuff.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Man.
Speaker 5 (20:17):
But anyway, I when you look at Sirianni once again,
it's it's just a guy you kind of shake your
head at now, like, bro, you you've got to do
better than this. Where's your where's the pr don't they
got somebody Martin to help you with this?
Speaker 2 (20:30):
So that was what we cut it out because it
was a little bit of long. So I didn't want
to play the whole thirty five forty second exchange. But
somebody from PR was out there like, no, not on
the injury report, and he was like, oh oh wait, whoops,
my bad.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Sorry, guys, I'm just the head coach. You expect me
to know what's going on.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Yes, we expect you to know what's going on more
than anybody in the building. That's that's why I would say,
like college basketball and college football, which is a lot
of these big schools in rural towns, there's not a
lot of people around. They're not big metropolis cities, and
they have full control. So when they go, oh, I
didn't know I had three players getting paid or working
(21:12):
at a dealership to drive car b as, yes you did,
because that's just the way this goes.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Also, the thing is if you didn't, well, yeah, should have?
Speaker 1 (21:22):
You should have?
Speaker 3 (21:23):
How don't you know? You're the coach.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
That's like, that's like somebody be like us do it
our jobs right now? Is be like, did you find
out that you know Georgia Tech beat Miami? Like wait
a minute, yeah, right right, if we're both sitting here
right now, live on radio, what hold on I missed
that one today?
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Why yeah, you shouldn't have. It's your job.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Speaking of things that missed, I mean, obviously Miami missed
the win today. Georgia it was Georgia missed the win today.
She was in trouble and Ella shooter. We'll see what
happens there, but I'll tell you what. We have an
unranked team playing a top team right now with a
margin of less than one score going into the half.
Steve de Seger update you on that and everything else
(22:02):
in the world sports Stay State.
Speaker 9 (22:03):
You mentioned that Georgia loss. It was at Ole miss
twenty eight to ten for the Rebels, their largest win
against a top ten opponents since nineteen sixty nine WWE,
and you mentioned Jalen Hurts. One of his Bama records
has been tied since Jalen Milroe has a rushing touchdown
most rushing tds in a single season at Alabama. End
of the first quarter, the Tide leading at LSU fourteen
(22:26):
to three. Milroe four carries fifty six yards that includes
a thirty nine yard touchdown. There's a game on Fox
TV with as you mentioned, running back Ashton genty going
at number twelve Boise State, which now leads fourteen to
nothing over Nevada. We're about ten minutes into this game.
Gente has nine carries ninety two yards at a score.
(22:47):
Penn stayed out to a seven to nothing lead on
Washington late first quarter. End of the first period. Oklahoma
scoreless at number twenty four Missouri at number ten Notre
Dame long touchdown run for the Irish. They're up teen
three against Florida State. Early second quarter. The Seminoles are
one to eight this year. Late second quarter at number
seven ranked Tennessee vaults only leading fourteen to seven against
(23:10):
Mississippi State, which is zero and five in conference final.
Seconds before halftime. Number one Oregon now up twenty to ten.
They've just scored against Maryland and extra point would make
it twenty one to ten. Number two Ohio State forty
five nothing winners against Purdue. Georgia Tech at home did
beat number four Miami twenty eight to twenty three. Georgia
(23:31):
Tech had been three and three in the ACC. Number
five Texas got five touchdown passes from quinn Ewers and
down Florida forty nine to seventeen. Aighth ranked Indiana now
ten and zero after edging Michigan twenty to fifteen at Kansas.
The Jayhawks led number seventeen Iowa State thirty eight thirteen
in the third quarter. Jayhawks beat him forty five to
(23:52):
thirty six wins for Colorado, Clemson, and Army. NASCAR Hall
of Famer Bobby Allison has passed away at the age
of eighty six. Among the twelve NHL games, Winnipeg won
again best record after fifteen games in league history. After
beating Dallas four to one. Winnipeg is fourteen and one.
There is college hoops on FS two right now, with
(24:13):
number three Yukon only up nineteen fourteen in the first
half against New Hampshire halftime in Dallas. Number eight Baylor
leads sixteenth rank Darkansas forty two to thirty three. In
the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers are ten to oher and
they're at home in the second quarter, winning again against
the Nets fifty two to forty Donovan Mitchell with seventeen points.
(24:33):
Jimmy Butler the Heat is out Sunday with a sprained ankle.
Luka Donzich of the MAVs questionable with a straying groin.
The Houston Texans activated wide receiver Nico Collins. He's listed
as questionable for Sunday night against the Lions after his
hamstring injury. The forty nine Ers activated running back Christian McCaffrey.
He'll make his season debut Sunday after the Achilles injury.
(24:54):
San Francisco's at Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Back to you, thanks, Steve in just some you said
that nineteen sixty nine was the last time to All
Miss beat the team like that. At the time, Johnny
Vaught was the was the head coach. The stadium is
now named Vaught Hemingway. So that's how long that was.
Archie Manning was the starting quarterback for All Miss for
most of that time. I watched arch Manning play today.
(25:16):
That's his what three two generations removed, his grand nephew,
grandson or grand nep grand nephew, grandson, Oh yeah, grandson, duh.
There you go. That's how family trees were because he
gave birth to you know, Olivia, who then had Archie.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
That's their grandson.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
That is a long time but big win for them, big, big,
huge win.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
If you saw, Steve, did you see how emotional like
Layton got, like he knows what that win means for
that program because they've been knocking on the door.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Right, They've had good teams and they'll go ten and two.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
But they'll lose the Bama in Georgia, right, but they'll
the perfect gear.
Speaker 9 (25:53):
Yeah, they'll span the playoffs. Yep, still have a good season.
I mean, it's like what we talked about with Penn State,
is it not?
Speaker 5 (25:59):
Yeah, not true, it is. But I think they're better
than pennstated. I think they're a better football team than
Penn State is. I think Penn State can easily be
tripped up. This Ole Miss team is gonna be hard
to be the offense. Yeah, and like what said the
defensive line though, of the offense for Ole Miss, yoh yeah,
absolutely well once they got going today, you know, Georgia
couldn't stop them either. But I was just surprised the
d line and the defense. I had no idea that
(26:22):
that defense was that good to be able to do
that to that Georgia offense with those guys. I know,
my guys and my rights not big on their quarterback,
but they still got some dudes on that offense.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
They still got some stars. They got some guys.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
So speaking of an offense that I am high on
the Detroit Lions, but the Houston Texas. Yeah, big game tomorrow,
big big, big game, big fun. Now, Lions to me
for my dollar. Best team in the NFL non Kansas
City Division, he can't.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
He can't do that. Then the second best team in football.
Because here's the thing. But I will see see them
play Kansas this season. I think they've been playing better
than Kansas City. But I'm not about to sit up
here and be blastom. All right, I understand how I've
been playing better than Kansas City, all right, any half?
Speaker 3 (27:13):
And I know they got that. I know they lost
one game.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
But look, Jared Goff leading the NFL seventy four point
nine completion percentage right behind Lamar Jackson and passer rating
and yards per attempt, right, he's there. If you extrapolate
the eight games off has played so far over seventeen,
you're looking at shade under four thousand passing yards, thirty touchdowns,
nine interceptions. Yeah, all right. Now, you look at the
(27:35):
Houston Texans play, and it's hard to like. When you
hear them talk, it's shocking that they're to have the
record they do. It's shocking them on the ball. Two
games you had Demko Ryans earlier saying need to finish better.
You had C. J. Strauss saying they have to start
better in the second half. First half detections are mine
or have a forty one point differential in the first half,
(27:58):
second half negative forty. It's two separate teams coming out
and they've been hanging on in some of these wins
adjustments instead of dominating in some of these wins the
way you like an AFC Super Bowl contender, which a
lot of people thought Houston was going in. I mean
meet including we look at Kansas City, Baltimore, who why not?
Why not Houston? After that?
Speaker 5 (28:17):
But again, especially after getting digs, then people didn't. Yeah,
the demeter shot off about the.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Texas and so now, but now you're sitting at a
place where you know they're six and two, but you
know those at the quotes. It very much is Jalen
Hursts AJ Brown last year at a ten oh start.
It's like we're not playing well enough. Like nobody in
the lines is talking about like that.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
No, not at all. This game is huge for both
teams tomorrow because I don't want to use the word
save as far as Houston season goes. But they lose
this game, they fall to six and four, So it's
in the six and three right now. They have a
plus one differential in score. So you talk about a
different team coming out, that's adjustment. Someone's not making adjustments.
I don't want to put it on all on Demico
(28:56):
Ryans because I don't know how much responsibility he's given
and how much leash is given to the coordinators and
a lot of the position coaches there. But it's gonna
follow him because he is the head coach. But this
game is so big for them because it's not knowing
if Nego's gonna play. But they've missed some guys. Now
you you you missed out on having.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Dis for a full year.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
He blows the leg. He's done.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Nico's been out.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
You know.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
CJ's played good, but not great.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
I don't think they've lost any games because of him,
but I'm not sure how many they've won because of
him too.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
He's steadied the ship, which is fine. He's been able
to study the ship well, because that was the thing.
It was like a sneakyj MVP. That ship has already
said yeah, and that's done. He's got no shot of
winning the MVP. He would have to just go ballistic.
But if you just like, look, think about him.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
They've played.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
They beat the coach, the Bears, and the Titans, right
excuse me, and the Jaguars, so they go. They did
beat the Bills, that's one of their big wins. They
beat the Jaguars. They lost to the Vikings, they beat
the Patriots, and then they lost to the Packers, and
they turn around, they beat the Coat and then they
lost to the Jets. Like it's there. It's not just
coming out of the locker room. Second half. Just the
(30:03):
season is up and down, so you don't know what
team you're getting. That's why this is so big for them.
I think Detroit just keeps on moving. We'll do our
picks later in the game, but later in the show.
But I think Detroit keeps on moving. This is an
easy game for me as far as golf goes, as
far as the whole MVP talk, all the categories that
you name are correct. My only holeback will be seventeenth
(30:25):
in yards and ninth in touchdowns. So yeah, number one's
seventy four. You can say seventy five, seventy four point nine,
which would be an NFL record. As far as completion percentage,
if it stayed that way as the season went on.
I don't have a problem with that, but they're such
a complete team.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
That's where he might lose.
Speaker 5 (30:42):
It is because you look around and he has so
many weapons that are all producing. It was like brock
Party last year. That's what it feels like, where brock
Perty's name was in the conversation all year long. But
did you ever think he really had a shot because
you look around him and it's McCaffrey and Kiddle and
Deebo in that defense, in Warner and IU and Shannon, like,
(31:05):
there's so many things, Lamar, it's hardball, and then what
other name are you naming off the real top of
your head for the Ravens, that's why you got the MVP.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
I just feel that might be happening.
Speaker 5 (31:14):
But I hope he wins it because I think it'll
be a cool story and I think a guy like
that could really use that for his legacies and MVP
because I think they could go to the Super Bowl
this year, and if you can do it in the
MVP season, that just kind of it's like Kurt Warner, right,
Kurt Warner won that MVP the year he went to
the Super Bowl, won the Super Bowl. It just elevates
your legendary status and no one can ever take that away. Right,
(31:34):
Lamar Jackson's got two MVPs, May Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Has he been there? That's what's and that's what holds
him back.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Right, What's going to upset me is when because here's
the thing, Like, Lamar Jackson is one of the best
football players I have ever seen play the game. Like
I understand that though, second best quarterback in football, and
it's not all everything's not there the resume, postseason, all
of that. But in twenty years, when Lamar's been long
retired and I hopefully am still doing this, and I
(32:02):
got to sit next to some thirty year old kid
who's likel some thirty year old.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
Kid is like, oh you know Lamar Jackson couldn't throw yeah,
and I'm gonna lose my mind and be like don't
you know, I'm.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
But he's like three time MVP, so what And it's like, yeah,
this is gonna drive me nut. Says Alabama drops what
would have been a sure touchdowns getting.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
Darker early rainstorm down there too. Man, it is a
rain storm going on right now in Death Valley.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Well, you know they say, when things are going wrong,
you have a proverbial rain cloud over you. Oh yeah.
These two teams in the NBA seem to have two
torrential thunderstorms in the locker room, one with a very
veteran coach, the other one he's just getting started. Guess
what it's raining. Nonetheless, all right, we'll get to that
(32:49):
coming up next. And Justine Man and Martin wis Vja
Husky Fox Sports Football Saturday.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
It's pretty ironic that.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Mary mac are illustrious, born up chose trophies by Young
Money or Drake Young Money, Right, yeah, all right, by
Young Money to lead this segment out because trophies are
too things. Neither one of these teams will be having them. Nope,
neither one of these teams will be lifting a trophy.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
(33:21):
just know this, I'm not wrong.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
I'm just first, ah coming on to the side. I
love it, the Milwaukee Bucks side.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
You know, this is the first and last politics we'll
talk here.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
But there was a sign when about two days before
the election, Kamala Harris's husband Doug Emoff, posted a tweet
that I saw that was talking about how the Democrats
had what like two days to go and they called
the time out and they had a coach there, and
the coach on this court was Doc Rivers. I kid
(33:53):
you not, Doc Rivers, Like, we're planning our end of
game strategy here. So I was like, there were signs,
there were signs it was coming. And the Bucks right
now have won two games, and one of them was
against the Jazz VJ. I hope you stretched hydrated. Go ahead,
take the.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
Lap, absolutely, man, absolutely, because this is what I told
you guys was exactly gonna happen. When Doc Rivers came
from the TV booth, well thank god he did that,
because I can't. I'm sorry. I just that's hard to
listen to that rass paper voice for an NBA. Yeah
that's hard, bro, that's hard.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
But I told you guys when he got this job,
this team was going to go the opposite direction.
Speaker 5 (34:37):
Guys, the Boston Championship is fifteen years ago. Do we
realize that? But this is nothing new. I've been on
this since he was with the Clippers. This is like
a six or seven year run for me saying this
when he was blowing three to one leads coaching the
Clippers and had all that talent went through the Shenanigans
of Putt. Remember when they posted the picture in front
(34:58):
of DeAndre Jordan's door and they won't leave him. They
wudn't let him and Blake and Chris Paul out his
house and would let him leave. And because they're gonna
resign him and they're gonna go win a championship and
then listen, Doc Rivers, I'm not sure what secret you know.
I know he's a really good guy. He's a really
nice human being. When Kendall was at Carolina and Austin
was a dude got the pleasure of going to those
(35:19):
games and talking in weird games, you talk to the
parents and see other people and it's like, oh, Doc Rivers,
you could tell everyone just attracted to the guy. He's
a nice person. He's well spoken, he really cares about
his players. Players love that guy. But when it comes
to just coaching basketball and the x's and o's, go
look at his track record, guys, it's never been long.
It's never been good until that trade that got Boston,
(35:42):
Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Go look at the records, guys, it was going backwards.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
I think it was forty one wins, thirty five wins
and like twenty eight wins or something ridiculous. But it
was going in the other direction before they got that trade.
And now you see he's got Giannis. So a lot
of people Mark feel like is the best on both
ends of the floor in the league. And I'm gonna
cash on that because he's gonna ask out real soon
because they already had his preferred trade destinations. But Doc
(36:09):
Rivers starting with this team at two and seven, man
the dog, this is the year is done. What do
you what do you do? Where do you go from here?
Look at the top heavy? Uh, I mean it looks
like it's gonna be like last year. Right, you had
two good teams and then everybody else was just falling
off Boston eight and two and then the Calves at
ten and ozer. But I thought this this thing with
Doc man, this would best a lot.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Of money that Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
When I finished with the two seed in the East.
With the two seeds, you think they'll fall they are
now are the ones? They're the one seed? One no, no, no,
they're the one seed.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
So you think they'll they'll fall below the two seed
by the end of the year.
Speaker 5 (36:40):
Yes, wow, I don't I die. That's a good basketball
team and they're playing good basketball right now. And you
look at the Eastern Conference, man, it's you know what's
happening with Atlanta. Here's the heat sitting again, three and five.
Jimmy Butler's out again. Like you can only do that
heat coat your thing for so long. Guys, it's gonna
fade away. Boss is legit. I think the Cat's are legit.
But Doc Rivers and the bucks Man this, this is ugly.
(37:03):
This is bad, and I think we're we're heading towards
and we're turning towards them figuring out somebody's gotta go
or somebody's gonna want to go.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
In Milwaukee, well it looks like somebody's on their way
out of the door. In Los Angeles, JJ Reddick, so
far through eight games, Like I tell you what, somebody like,
I mean, this will all sincerity. Somebody close to him
needs to have a conversation with him and tell him, hey, buddy,
you're on ten.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
You got to take you down to six and a half.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Please. We are eight games in here, we are eight
games in and we watched him. See this is this
is what happens. See this is the issue because the
reality of the situation is it's football season. The late
the Dodgers were just in the world. They just want
to They just had the parade on Friday. Nobody in
LA is really paying attention to what's going on in basketball,
much less the Lakers and Clippers. Right, if anything, high school,
(37:55):
I mean college maybe headlines college still the more head
than the Lakers. Right, And the guy who just was
recently at USC Brownie Jane. Yeah, all right, so now
you Diezlo Russell noted Defender on being sarcastic. Had JJ
Reddick so frustrated with his play that you saw him slamming,
like he sat down in his chair and then like
(38:16):
out of frustration picked it up.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Oh I was sitting on it and kind of just
yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, like a child.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
And then in his postgame press conferences, how do you know, essentially,
you know, how do you give a message to the players?
I just did and walks off, drops the microphone. It
is November ninth, Jj, we're in It's November nine. Very smug,
like too, I am. It was very smug.
Speaker 3 (38:41):
But okay, just as somebody who was in the media
a minute ago.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
By a minute, I mean quite literally just about sixty seconds,
as you've coached a tenth of the NBA season thus far,
Ohm shot.
Speaker 5 (38:54):
Yeah, Wood, it feels like he's trying to prove something.
That's what it doesn't just like almost like when he.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
And you feel dead. I remember you filled couple with
christ So I remember that. Yeah, when they posted the
clip of that and you guys talking about that too,
because it did it kind of felt like.
Speaker 5 (39:12):
Dude, why are you what do you do? You think
you're cool or something like what's what? What was that for?
Like you have to do that?
Speaker 2 (39:20):
But it's all it's all fruit of the same tree
to me, because how are you this mad at your
own team to where like that. It's not somebody outside
did something, not the refs did something. You know what
I'm saying, something that is like this is in his control.
He could bench Changelo Russell, you did a coach, and
sure enough he did he did. But like also what
(39:42):
I said all the time, DJ, the head coach is
the only person who was who was supposed to be
the adult in the room. If the other players are
that's cool, that's great, that's a bonus.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
The head coach is the only ones who's got to.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Be all right and not looking great now also on
out looking great for the Dallas Cowboys. We'll dive into
this in just a moment because it's getting dark.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Cut.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio the greatest show in football, well,
I should say the most entertaining show in football.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
It looks like it might get canceled.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Martin a VJ broadcasting live from the tire rack dot
Com studios, tire rack dot Com. We'll help you get
there with an unmax selection, fast free shipping, freewood has
a protection and over ten thousand recommended to his dollars
tire rack dot Com. So where that tire buying should
be VJA, I have this this feeling, Martin. Weis vide
Husky coming to you a lot from the tire rack
dot Com studios. My thing is bro like, if you're
(40:39):
gonna be bad, be interesting, always like, if you're gonna
be bad, always at least made me care, Like who's
a bad team right now?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Who's a bad Carolina Panthers?
Speaker 2 (40:50):
I do not care about the stories out of the
trade brush young sure, why not keep rush on?
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (40:56):
Why not? That's all you got? You traded down to
the mingo who gives a good dog on?
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Nobody cares? Dave, who's the coach?
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Canalis?
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Where's he from?
Speaker 2 (41:05):
Aall? Don't care? Right long beach probably, but don't care.
You know, overwhelmed Now Dallas Cowboys, when they're.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Bad, we still care. Yeah, we still care.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
You had the highest paid quarterback in football, highest pai
wide receiver of football, and not the highest win total
in football. Trouble Michel Parsons has been out for a while,
and now the Cowboys, after that lost to Atlanta should
be sailing on the season.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Instead, they bought at the trade deadline.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
But bought is like this is like saying that we
both went shopping, but you went to the grocery store
and spent twenty and fifty dollars for your family for
the next couple of days, like for the next month.
And then I went to the grocery store and I got,
you know, a lunchable and brought that home, like we
both bought at the We both bought.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
But is that how you grocery shop?
Speaker 2 (41:54):
No, I'm closer to the two fifty side, but to
say that you bought Jonathan Mingo, who's yet to have
it NFL touchdown. Yeah it not just no, not this year.
I'm talking about in his NFL career.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (42:06):
It's tough, man, This is tough. This is the season
is done. Dallas is done, man. And I thought last week,
my prediction of coming into this week would be there
would be major storylines in Dallas, And here we are,
Dax is deciding to have season enduring a season ending
hamstring surgery. And I'm gonna be honest with you, I
(42:27):
can't blame him. I'm a sixty million dollar man right now.
So the one thing I'm not gonna do is I'm
not gonna put myself in any type of jeopardy for
the future.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
If if I get.
Speaker 5 (42:36):
Enough opinions from doctors and physicians and surgeons and they
say this is the route to go, go do this,
then That's what I'm gonna do. It's like the same
thing with JJ McCarthy, right, he had two decisions. They
can either let it ill and see what's up, or
you know, let's just do a full meniscus repair. But
it's gonna have you off for the season, but you'll
be ready. You know down the line, you'll you'll be
fine moving moving forward. So this is where we are
(42:58):
with Dallas. This is the year they've hapen. You paid
Dack the money, But Mike could being out if I
could touch.
Speaker 3 (43:04):
On that for a minutes, it's starting to feel like to.
Speaker 5 (43:06):
Me, well, I've heard before from pro athletes I've been around,
former pro athletes would have been around in this business
that when when somebody's unhappy, whether it's playing time or money, Uh,
sometimes those injuries, they they hurt a little more, you know.
And I'm not saying anybody's faking anything.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
But if you could play, you know, you can push
yourself to play.
Speaker 5 (43:29):
But I warned Dallas about this over the summertime markin
when we talked about this, I said, it's taken too
long to get Dak done. Get Dak done, and then
get Micah done.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
No, what they do?
Speaker 3 (43:39):
They got CD done first. Jerry did it again.
Speaker 5 (43:42):
It's the same thing I said when Zeke went to Cabo,
don't pay him first, and you did it again.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
And now look where we are.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
Well, the reality is at this point, Michael Parsons, remember
House should have been traded last week. But I agree
with that.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
I heard that. I heard that opinion from a few peoples.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Cooked.
Speaker 5 (44:00):
This is cook, But you don't you David never got
full value for him.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
Well guess what if you continue to lose and he walks,
You're not gonna get full value for him anyway, So.
Speaker 8 (44:11):
He can I point something out. You guys too, jump
in the fact that this. If you you've got three
guys thinking of paying, you have Dak Prescott, Ceedee Lamb,
and Micah Parsons. This year's draft class doesn't have a
great quarterback. The receivers are always going to be pretty good,
but just relative to what it's been, it's not as
strong as it's been in recent years. The edge rusher
(44:32):
class is where there's the most strength. So I wonder
if it would make the most sense to trade Micah
Parsons for it like a treasure chest of picks. And
then you've got guys to pick from, like you know,
Nick Gorton out of Texas A and m or James
Pierce from Tennessee, guys who obviously aren't proven like Micah
Parsons is. But if you have to move on from
someone and get a haul, it would make the most
(44:52):
sense to have the one that's most replaceable in the draft.
Speaker 3 (44:54):
No, see, that's where I was gonna go. I don't
mind you.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
I don't mind your ideology at all.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
But if you're giving me a choice to stick with
and pay what I already know what it is, as
opposed to four draft picks and one of them ends
up being good, Good's not Michael Parsons. Michael Parsons is
game changing. Michael Parsons should have been Defensive Player of
the Year probably twice already in his career.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
He changed.
Speaker 5 (45:20):
He disrupts your offensive game plan by his damn self.
And in the sport of football, that's that's Chris Jones, right,
that's Warren sapp and it's hey, they wear that that
big guy from you in the middle, He'll wreck your
whole offense starting right there. He'll wreck everything. That's Michael Parsons.
So I don't mind people saying, yeah, trade him. I
just didn't.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
I would There's no way I would be.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Thinking I would have Michael Parsons in the class below
the guys that you just listened, you just mentioned. If
he comes out this at the end of this season,
it starts the ball out like that. But in the
biggest moments, Michael Parsons, Like, I've seen Miles Garrett win
Cleveland football games in which they're starting guys like PJ. Waller,
Oh god, PJ WALKERJ Walker, they're starting like PJ Walker.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
About PJ Washington forward Charlie.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Yeah, but they started got like PJ Walker winning games
because Miles Garrett is blocking two kicks and sacking the
other quarterback six or seven times. But either way, this
is how I knew for sure that not only that
I knew that the Cowboys season was over. VJ just
said the season is over, but also the guy we're
talking about right now, Michael Parsons, he knows too that
the season's over.
Speaker 4 (46:27):
I still believe we can make it run. You know,
I've seen what Cooper Rush can do. It's a good
boy right there, you know what I'm saying, Like Cooper
Rush got a lot of talent. He won games for
us by just doing the basically just playing good football.
So it's not like he can't do it.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
So it was a lot in there. He started with
what everybody says, I still believe we can make a run.
Here's the money part. I've seen what Cooper Rush can do.
That's a good boy right there. That's a good boy
right there. You know you know what that you know
the you know what that means. This is very much
(47:01):
like Hey, VJ. Man, come on, man, let's go out.
She's got a friend. She come on, man, she's got
a friend. Well what she looks like. She's got a
great personality. Man, She's the funniest girl you ever hang
out with.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
She mad cool. He's super cool, mad cool.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
B she mad cool V Yeah, okay, uh no, tell
you because that's what it sounds like when you're not
a believer.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
One more time, I've seen what Cooper Rush can do.
It's a good boy right there.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
He's got a great personality, Cooper Rush. He's great in
the locker room. He's hilarious now on the football field.
Save that for our show. Mary's nobody.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
You know what he wasn't talking about. He want to
talk about how Cooper Rush comes out there and commands
the offense. You want to talk about how Cooper Rush
comes out there and demander respecting the talking.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
He's a good boy.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
He wanted to talk about Cooper Rusk gets out there
and slings it all around the field. He wants to
talk about how Cooper Rush said. It was just like
it'll be just like Dak Prescott. But he said about
Cooper Rush was.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
I've seen what Cooper Rush can do. It's a good
boy right there.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
That's a good boy, right he makes him sound like
a dog man, Jerry, it's time to give ten percent
off towards of the Star because listen, that's all you
got going on right now. Because Cooper Rush, that's a
good boy right now. Right he sounds like he's like
he just fed his golden retriever.
Speaker 5 (48:15):
Cooper Rush is so good. And Ian jump in on
this one too, man. Think about it. Cooper Rush is
so good. They paid Dak Prescott sixty million dollars Rushes.
Cooper Rush is so good. They didn't let that play
out this free. Could you imagine if the Battle.
Speaker 8 (48:30):
League playout three is so good? They traded for Trey Lance.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
They burned and forth.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
On Trey Lance on a flyer, on a maybe, on
a who knows.
Speaker 5 (48:38):
That's how good. That's how good Cooper Rush is. You
guys know how I feel about backup quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (48:43):
I'm not changing. I'm not changing.
Speaker 5 (48:45):
If you were that good, you would be starting on
another team because there's not thirty two good starting quarterbacks
in the NFL. So if you're a backup, you're of
course you're not good enough to start nowhere. That's why
you're a backup. Now, can you be Joe Flacco and
win some game? Yes, Cooper Rush and win some game.
Go back and pull up the skill, Go back and
(49:05):
pull up the teams. Cooper Rush was beating and that
in that span we filled in for Dak. Go look
at the teams they were playing.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
And I lost a lot.
Speaker 3 (49:13):
Of money on that.
Speaker 5 (49:14):
I mean, when you look at the stuff that Dak
Prescott does, the career that he's had, he is a
certified forty five hundred sixty eight sixty nine percent completion guy,
thirty touchdown guy.
Speaker 3 (49:26):
That's what Dak is. He plays with the star and
his helmet, so.
Speaker 5 (49:29):
Of course everything's his fault when we all know it's not.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
If you put the tape on.
Speaker 5 (49:33):
He don't run the ball, he doesn't have the blocking
scheme to block up front.
Speaker 3 (49:37):
They can't run the football.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
So you're really asking your sixty million dollar quarterback to
be able to go win you games.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
And I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Hear well, when you pay your quarterback So then how
the hell do other team How does Andy Reid keep
finding guys?
Speaker 1 (49:52):
Huh?
Speaker 5 (49:52):
How do some of these other coaches keep finding guys
when they have a high priced quarterback? How do they
do it? So tell me that's the reason why they
don't do it. There's a lot of issues in Dallas,
and now this season is just warped and gone because
you just lost your starting quarterback. And if you don't
have a quarterback in the NFL, you don't have a shot.
Speaker 3 (50:11):
Season is done.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Cooper Rush is gonna be your starting quarterback the rest
of the year.
Speaker 3 (50:16):
I will say one thing though, like I don't hear it.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
Come, this is a case of depth. Remember the last
time you stepped up for somebody, they got fired? True
he did.
Speaker 6 (50:26):
He got.
Speaker 3 (50:29):
My mouth right now, suffer. No, I want to hear
it now.
Speaker 7 (50:33):
No.
Speaker 8 (50:34):
I was just gonna say, like, at least Micah is
you know, like pretending at least like trying to act
optimistic for the rest of the season. You don't want
your teammates. You don't want like a team. I don't
know if he's a team captain. I assume he is
one of the best players. You don't want one of
your team leaders at the very least to you know,
go on his podcast and say, yeah, I don't think
this new guy is capable of it. At least he's trying.
(50:55):
And you know, the way it comes off to us
is like, hey, he's a really nice person exactly.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
That's that's all I was gonna say.
Speaker 5 (51:01):
Here's the thing, though, we we're in the business. Did
we do this for a living, bro, So you can't
slide down. That's why we're sitting here like, that's why
we have the draft. That's why we have the draft.
Speaker 8 (51:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 5 (51:13):
Yeah, but I'm sure there's cowboy fans that's like, oh hey,
if Michael Parson says he's good, there's some drunk guy
in a barn, Texas right now arguing that Michael Parsons
is defending his quarterback and because he bro put the
tape on.
Speaker 2 (51:28):
If this team was well managed, right, they draft well.
But they're not managed well. This team was well managed
very well, said Cooper Rush wouldn't be on the roster, Nope,
because Trey Lance would be Trey Lance is your backup.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
You live in a world now where you're.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
Paying your practice squad quarterback significantly more than your backup quarterback.
You know what you call that upside down and that's
mismanagement right there.
Speaker 5 (51:50):
The Dallas Cowboys are fried, though. Man now nails in
the coffin, nails in the coffin. Watch watch how Micah
plays the rest of his year out guy, I told
you guys over the summertime, being that he was kind
of being pushed down the pay scale of who was
gonna get paid. Be be aware of how he was
going to react to that. I said in multiple times
(52:12):
sitting in this year, and now you're trust me, you're
gonna start to see it. If Dallas goes on and
loses like this, say they gonna lose their next three
or four, You think Mike's gonna play nice?
Speaker 3 (52:21):
You think my any and you didn't pay him. He
has leverage.
Speaker 5 (52:25):
He has all the leverage now and there's a team
out there that will hand that man one hundred and
something million damn dollars in the offseason as a free agent.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
That's the reason why last week would have been earlier.
This week would have been a great time to move became.
All of that is true, and you would have got
back a king's ransom and this team, Yeah, dude, pass
rushers are hard to find.
Speaker 8 (52:47):
I just don't think you imagine what the Lions would
have given up for Michael Hutchinson.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
You could have got you could have got it.
Speaker 2 (52:54):
You gotta give you some scenarios because you can't just
throw that out.
Speaker 3 (52:57):
I need Well they traded, they traded what a third
or got? Could they got your first?
Speaker 2 (53:02):
Smith? Well, they got they traded a third round pick
for thirty two year olds of Darius Smith was on
the last year of his contract. I'm pretty sure the
Lions would have been willing to give you a first
and a second or you know, two seconds and a
third or something like that. See coming back, and I'm
not doing I'm not doing two seconds and the third
seconds for Michael Parsons.
Speaker 5 (53:23):
I think you need at least a first No, and listen,
That's why, that's why I ask you guys for just
a variable and just an example, because for me, I
need two first rounds for Michael Parsons or he's not
going nowhere.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
I'll just pay him. I'll just pay him and we'll
figure it and we'll figure it out. We'll figure out
the rest of this problem. Is you gotta sign the deal. Yeah, Well,
I mean you put the money in front of them.
Speaker 5 (53:42):
We all we all say that, right, you put the
money in front of people and they signed. Who is
normally who pays the most? You know, askton landa break
well to the point offered a little more. It could
be who you could have kept Freddy.
Speaker 3 (53:54):
He could pay.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
It could be who pays the most, and that that's
not Jerry's already got the highest paid quarterback, the highest
pay wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
You're gonna have the highest paid defensive back, I mean
defensive linemen as well.
Speaker 5 (54:04):
If you need, if you needed to pay him the most,
I got you. But real quick, if you needed to
pay him the most, would you find a way.
Speaker 6 (54:09):
To do it.
Speaker 2 (54:11):
They can't just make money up like the CD and
deck already taking up like thirty five percent of the cap.
They can't, Like, I just don't think they will be
able to. They'll have to restructure something because I yeah,
don't know what I'm saying, Like I just but again,
this is a poorly managed team. I don't see that.
I just don't see that occurring done. But speaking of
part of the reason why this poorly managed team, they
let the defensive coordinator walk out the door, with half
(54:33):
of the defense, and that's part of the reason why
they're looking up at the top of the NFC. We
are talking about that team coming up in just a moment,
and where this specific player ranks among all of them.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
Martin whits Vija Husky Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Does this guy have this end season ward already locked up?
Speaker 3 (54:53):
We'll discuss it just a moment.
Speaker 2 (54:54):

us on Twitter with your two cents. I'm at Martin Wiss.
Vj's at the Big Vanilla Funny and you guessed it. VJ,
you knew it.
Speaker 3 (55:31):
You knew it immediately. As soon as I said, you know,
we're talking about Jadan Daniels next, aren't we?
Speaker 2 (55:34):
I said, yes, we are. Jayden Daniels presumptive rookie of
the year right now, Washington Commanders. They're in an unprecedented place,
a place they're not used to.
Speaker 3 (55:42):
That's the top the NFC East. It's been a while.
I mean it's been a while, bro.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
I'll put it like this. They weren't called They've gone
through two name changes. Yeah, since they've been a top
five uniform changes, they got a new ownership.
Speaker 5 (55:57):
How many rebrands? I think it's I think it's RG three.
Is RG three's rookie year. They finished ten and six,
they won a division. I think that's the last year
they won a division. Off the top of my head,
that feels right.
Speaker 6 (56:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:06):
I mean, Taylor Heineke.
Speaker 2 (56:07):
Almost beat Tom Brady in that playoff game, but that
was a nine to seven round.
Speaker 5 (56:10):
Riverericas exactly. And they didn't win in division that year.
They were in as a wild card. So it's been
since RG three ten and six and they lose the
home game in Seattle. He slips on the bad serve,
tears his knee franchise takes a what decade plus reverse,
so's it's good times. It's good times man for them.
I know a lot of Commander fans being in from
the ARA, so yeah, goods.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
Our producer cooked this one up.
Speaker 2 (56:32):
Yeah, how about that?
Speaker 3 (56:34):
How about that production?
Speaker 2 (56:35):
That's what it looks like, everybody said Jaydon Daniels AKA
my man.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
I that says, I just your initials is he? Where
does he ranked to you?
Speaker 2 (56:46):
Under?
Speaker 3 (56:46):
Player of players twenty five and under?
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (56:49):
So I don't and the list of players under twenty five?
Vision Presser CJ.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
Stroud, Brock, Jordan Love, Justin Jefferson, Jonathan Taylor, Seede Lamb,
Garrett Wilson, Alman Ross saying Brown less on God neighbors.
Obviously the rookie brought Powers Gibbs, Cayleb Williams, Michael Parsons
was just talking about him, Patrick Sauce, Gardner, Hutchison would
have been dpo Y this year, probably Kyle Hamilton, Traffick.
Speaker 3 (57:12):
The list is long and the list is plentiful.
Speaker 5 (57:14):
Absolutely, So what I did is I highlight the players
that I don't think he's better than yet. So I'll
start with Justin Jefferson because Justin Jefferson is the best
receiver in football, and ironically, his former college teammate is
right behind him. Martin and I were just talking about
Jamar Chay. Now, question Jamar Chase is older than twenty five?
Because I thought Jamar Chase should have been on this list?
Speaker 3 (57:34):
Is he is?
Speaker 2 (57:35):
He?
Speaker 3 (57:36):
His birthday is upcot he just missed. Okay, all right,
I was about to say, I thought he's actually twenty
four right now.
Speaker 5 (57:42):
Okay, So then Chase should be on this list too,
all right, So then he's not better than Justin Jefferson.
I don't think he's better than an I'm around Saint Brown. Uh,
you're gonna love this one. I don't Austin, I say
that one for last. I don't think he's better than
Michael Parsons. I don't think he's betting patrickson Sam Pasters.
Sad's the best cover corn in football. We are talked
about mister Gravey grabs. You know I feel about him.
Aiden Hutchison was on his way to twenty say hey,
here's a cool staff for you. Eight hundred SAIDs have
(58:03):
played in about a month.
Speaker 2 (58:04):
Right, he is.
Speaker 5 (58:06):
Still fourth in the league in sacks, and I think
he's like third in the league in QB pressures and
he had't played in a month. He was on his way.
Another guy don't think he's better than Trey McDuffie. I
think he's probably his second best cover corner in football.
And I did highlight cal Hamilton because he has really
come in and really solidified himself as the back end
captain of that Baltimore defense. So I guess I would
(58:26):
have him ranked about eight or nine. And the last
guy highlighted this because he was leading league and catches
last week. I'm not sure he's stills right now. My
man Rock Bauers is just a monster. He is a
generational talent. So I would have him top ten, but
maybe like eight or nine. I think some of these
other guys are a little more solidified as far as
being better than him, so I'll put him over.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
I think that's a hold up, right, They have a
little they're a little more solidified. If Gaydon Daniels had
done this for two and a half years, he'd be
top of this list.
Speaker 5 (58:53):
True, but he's only done it for nine games. They're
sitting at seven right now. I'm yeah, No, Well, here's
the thing Thursday night. I know they have a game tomorrow,
but Thursday night they're at Philly. That's a big we're
gonna see right then and there. Okay, this guy got
the chops to lead his team to beat the you know,
because that game is essentially for first place. If they
both win tomorrow that game, that game is assisianly for
(59:14):
first place. Does your rookie have the chops to take
your team to nine and two and kind of put everybody,
not just in the NFC East, in the NFC.
Speaker 3 (59:23):
If you're Detroit, you gotta think, wow, do we really
want this team?
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Like coming up here in January with this quarterback indoors,
no weather, they got it. They got defense. They like
we got an office, but they got a defense and
they got a quarterback. Hey, they got a running game
there in Washington with Brian Robinson out of Alabama.
Speaker 2 (59:38):
Good good for that kid too, got shot when he
first got the DC there. So so that's the Commanders.
They got Pittsburgh coming up. I think he's a Philly
bayrow man. Yeah, Pittsburgh tomorrow, but then Philly Thursday. But
I'll say this, this is what's interesting about the Commander's
right here, right now, because this is there's a strong
corollary to their scenario, their situation that they're in right now.
(01:00:00):
It's in the AFC when Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase
went to Cincinnati. Right, a quarterback gets drafted all of
a sudden, it seems as if the entire organization changes
and flips on a dime. Right, But after that lost Thursday,
listen to what Jamar Chase, who said an NFL record
with a four hundred and fifty seven yards receiving, Like
(01:00:21):
that's a record against one team, Like, you know, did
you play two games? Because he ate him up the
first time, tore them up and has subsistently historically torn
up Baltimore. And this is what Jamar Chase had to
say after the game in which Joe Burrow had five
touchdown passes.
Speaker 10 (01:00:34):
Me and Joe both know when we mess up with
each other, you know what I'm saying. At end of
the day, we don't have to go off on each other,
talk to each other. We just give each other a
look and we move on. Yeah, it's crazy to say that.
Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
I would never in.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
A millionaire is expect me to play this well.
Speaker 10 (01:00:44):
And he played us well and we still have a
record like this, So that's something we could achieve. And
we've been showing it this whole time.
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
You know what I'm saying this, So I ain't mad
at it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
I give you warning in Washington. I give you warning
right here, right now, because Cincinnati is about two losses
away from all of it being over. From t Higgins
can't get out there right now, Jamar Chase is about
to Jamar Chase has made no bones about it. I
want my money, and I wanted it in the summer.
Right this thing is all gonna fall apart. And you
(01:01:14):
have you have pass rusher Trey Henderson, you have quarterback
Joe Berg, you have wide receiver Jamar Chase. It's all
gonna fall apart. So if you're the Washington commanders, you
think you got a pretty good receiver with McLaurin. You
think you got the quarterback. You think you know I did.
Speaker 3 (01:01:32):
Look at Sicks, look at Walkicki's dresser.
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
We're looking for that ad minute and Washington still but still,
that's the You got to lock these guys up when
it's doing, it's available and say this is my team,
this is my core. That's what Kansas City did you
know who the three guys they got that'll be there
until they decided to stop playing football, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey,
Chris Jones, Bank Bang boom.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
All right, Washington, find you that little pass rusher.
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
Locked this up because right now, the way this east
just going, it could be yours for five six years they.
Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
Did just trade for Latimore and y'all can't front on.
Ain't nobody talking about how Mikey likes and Sanders. Still
it's not only filled in on the slot corner. He's
filled in on the outside corner. He's a legitimate NFL corner.
So you got that going in in a defense that's
set up to be successful there and dominate like it's
been doing pretty much all year long. And we all
(01:02:24):
know what dan Quinn does with a defense man. But no,
I'm I'm definitely with you on Cincinnati this thing. And
it happens fast in the NFL. Guys, they'll know you
don't pay guys, and you get guys getting some rumblings going,
and you get a receiver that leaves or somebody gets
hurt or somebody wants out once again, Hendrickson leaves the
league in sicks. You think He's gonna want to be
there if you start to break this thing up or
things aren't going right.
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Well. Also, I think the part of the thing is
all right. I assue you playing around with t Higgins.
I see you playing around with Jamar Chase. I know
I ain't necessarily at that level.
Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
I'm really good at my right. Trey Adfons is really good,
but he's top well, he's the top five half, but
the top three is you know what I'm saying. But
Jeff Jefferson and Chase, those two best reseasons sold. Chase
is right there, but it's and I see you not
wanting to pay. I see you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
I see that Joe was the only one that was
able to get his money.
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Everybody else seems like, uh, They're waiting in line at
the bank, and they keep saying next taelor, next tailor, next,
Tell what did I tell you?
Speaker 5 (01:03:21):
I don't want to see Ian during the break, I
told him I don't want to see You'll love this analogy.
I don't want to see Jamar Chase become Ocho Cinco.
And if oo had have got out of Cincinnati like
five years earlier, he would have went to a squad,
he would have went to no bump team. He would
have went to no bum ass team. He'dne went to
a squad. He might have elevated his career. In what
we think of him and Carson Palmer, they'll always just
(01:03:44):
be lost in the shuffle of really good players.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
But what is your memory of Ojo? His celebration?
Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Is it any winning?
Speaker 8 (01:03:51):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:03:51):
What's your what's your memory of Carson Palmer? He was
a really good, big statutus quarterback. What's his uh, what's
his memory? We don't have one.
Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
So so coming up next, we'll get a little philosophical here.
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Now, I did take Greek and Latin phil I can't
say that a loud for philosophy. There you go, thank you, VJ.
I did take that class. Gotta be plus so. I
had heard this quote before, but never expected to hear
it coming out of a head football coach. But first,

Back to you, thanks Steve Martin and BJ coming to
you live from the tire rack dot Com Studio Vida.
Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
Like I said, I took a philohophogy What was it?
The philosophy momentimum? There you go, momentimum. I took the class.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
How's a better student than talking with That's from a
radio host now, uh. But Tyreek Hill popped up in
the injury report with a wrist injury.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Yep, I'm looking at it right now.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
The Dolphins have struggled so far this season, but Mike McDonald,
when asked about Tyreek Hill and his rift injury, went
little God dogged too many. Mike mixed in this thing,
Mike McDaniel. Mike McDonald's head coach is Seattle Seahawks. These
(01:08:43):
are things I know, Like I know what classes I
took in college. Anyway, here's my McDaniel on his ride
receiver's wrist injury. All I know is that I know nothing.
Speaker 10 (01:08:50):
As Socrates would say, I'm optimistic that he's he's gonna
do everything he can.
Speaker 6 (01:08:56):
But you know, we'll see I'm not. I wouldn't say
it was optimistic or pessimistic about it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:03):
All I know is that I know nothing. As Socrates
would say, L L quote.
Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
First of all, L quote.
Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
That was an L quote, loser like an L okay,
I'm like a L quote. I was wondering if L
was like a new gen Z term.
Speaker 8 (01:09:16):
I was.
Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
I was why would a quote, Why would a quote
from Socrates being L quote?
Speaker 6 (01:09:20):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:09:21):
Not that, But I think the response is just using
like I s a L quote.
Speaker 5 (01:09:25):
No, I'm I'm an Elmo team mac here tell me
why it's not le j Because it's from Socrates, that's
number one. That's like it being from Aristotle or be
it from play though you know what I'm saying. I
also took Western Greek philosophy myself.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
I loved it. I didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
I gotta be a thing you said be plus pronounce
it better than me. Yeah, Well, I loved it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
I like stuff like I like deep think and stuff
like that. No, it's it's what you say. All I
know is I know nothing. He doesn't know nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
We don't.
Speaker 5 (01:09:49):
I don't know until he could play. I don't know
on on the injury report. He's listened as questionable normally
by Saturday evening.
Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Saturday night.
Speaker 5 (01:09:56):
You listen to my questions, you're gonna play. If it
was doubtful, then he's not playing them out. But they'll
get him out there, they'll test it, they'll see was
this is the perfect answer for coach, especially coming from
a guy like Mike McDaniel. I'll actually be covering the game.
I'll be there so far, like the sports guys are
blessing me. I'll be there covering the Rams and the Dolphins.
And I can't wait to get a question into the man.
I can't wait to get in the locker room and
(01:10:17):
get in the post game pressure and get a question
and get and get a good quote from Socrates and
philosophy like this your problem, Mary, see your young ble,
see your young group, you problemise.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
Y'all don't know nothing about this. Y'all know nothing about
deep thinking. See you called it an l quote. You
too lazy. Your generation is too lazy to just say loser.
Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
It's an l quote. I thought, I thought that sounds
like something you order at an expensive restaurant that they
only make in November.
Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
I think she was just speaking Spanish.
Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Yeah, honestly, that's kind of what I initially, that's what
I thought. I was like, this is going right over
my head. I'm sorry, I don't know what to say.
So when you get there. When you get there, I
want you to ask him, did you think therefore you
were bet? You know what mean?
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
They cart you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
I'll do it. What another great philosophy lines like, well like, uh,
I am, so I exist or whatever?
Speaker 5 (01:11:10):
Oh no, no, as I as I think so I am,
or as I think so as a speaketh so shall
my life and path go with you?
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
Like how I put the if on the end of
both of those. James. That's right, that's right, that's what
you should do. You should ask Mike.
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Ask Mike McDaniel as press conference, can predestination and free
will exist at the same time? Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
Why is the sky blue? And why is water wet? Our?
Is water really wet?
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Just get wet?
Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
From Waters.
Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
No, but here's the thing I guarantee you after after
the Rams beat the Dolphins and the seasons all the
way lost.
Speaker 3 (01:11:44):
That would be Mike McDaniel's longest answer.
Speaker 5 (01:11:46):
First of all, there's no way that the sport gods
are blessing me to cover the Dolphins for the first
time in my life and they lose. I am guaranteeing
a Dolphin victory Monday night because I will be in presents.
The sports gods are not going to do that to me.
The football gods are not going to do that to
me because I praise and give them props like you're
supposed to. That's why you guys be missing out. That's
why you're That's why you go through what you do
with the Saints. Man, it's a good franchise. Y'all got
(01:12:08):
cool uniforms and stuff. Everything is really good down there.
The food is good, the dom is cool. It's it's
it's like it's New Orleans til you get to the football.
Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Everything is good until until until the car goes from
fifth one five zero zero one to one four five
nine Q one did.
Speaker 5 (01:12:25):
Everything just and see because you talk like that, That's
why the sports guys go Okay, you know what, We're
not gonna do them any favors.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
Do this when you're in so Fi next, when you're
so Fi tomorrow, ask.
Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
Mike me Daniel, what is the goal of humanity?
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
I love his post game prescott. I guarantee you that's
his longest response. I guarantee you that's his longest reponse.
Going up next, But play a game of Who You
Got with our producer Ian niners Bucks addiction. Niner Bucks addition,
what's going on? Man?
Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
I don't know, I don't It's you.
Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
It's you, your bad, you your adapted to the nice
it's you, up, young lady.
Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
Just for clarification, it will be the San Francisco forty
nine Ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
I do know.
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
I'm gonna get this.
Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
Where teams play, We'll see if I know who the
player is. Coming back to mart on a Fox Sports
Football Saturday. All right, that's right, Martin and Vja comes

As you guys, said is forty nine Ers Bucks edition.
They're playing in Week ten matchups, So just a refresher
for the listeners how this game works. I'm gonna come
at you guys with clues because I'm thinking of one
player that has something to do with either the forty
nine Ers or the Bucks.
Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
I'm gonna catch guy clues all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
Yep.
Speaker 8 (01:13:48):
It's at any point in their history, and it can
be a player, it can be a coach. It's just
someone that has something to do.
Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
With Mike golf stop. I got you.
Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
I'm gonna start.
Speaker 8 (01:13:56):
But each clue is supposed to theoretically make it easier
and narrow it down so we can get started. I
will give you guys the first pick here. This guy
was a top five pick in the NFL draft.
Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
Warren sat no.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
Good.
Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
Guess though, Buck's Great Baker Mayfield no.
Speaker 8 (01:14:14):
Another Buck's Great Baker may not quite as great as
Warren set all right. Next clue, he set or tied
twenty three school records during his time in college.
Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
No wonder if he's a top five pick.
Speaker 3 (01:14:28):
Tyl Owins, No. Twenty three school records for the top
top pick nine years Bucks, So it's got to be
it can't.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
It's not going to be aligneman because it's not enough
records break nope, nope, And it's not going to be
a linebacker that does not enough records for them to
brown side of tackles and three run offensive right his
offensive because quarterback running back our receiver.
Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
All right. Next clue.
Speaker 8 (01:14:53):
He won the USA Today High School Football Offensive Player
of the Year award in twenty thirteen.
Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
Well, we already he figured out if he was an
outfensive player.
Speaker 8 (01:15:01):
Well, that's because you guys are good detectives at the
average shot.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
He said, twenty thirteen. Okay, so detective had he was
a twenty thirteen senior in high school. So let's say
the guy got to the league in twenty sixteen to eighteen.
Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
Yeah, twenty sixteens and twenty seventeen top five. Pick another
clue here, he has a Super Bowl ring.
Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
Christian McCaffrey. No, didn't have a dog go on ring.
He's got a super Bowl super Bowl twenty three school records.
Mike Evans, no.
Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Getting warmer Deebo Samuel No incorrect.
Speaker 8 (01:15:42):
Next clue. He grew up in New Orleans and attended LSU.
Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
What the LSU top five picks tough five worked on. No,
no to Florida State.
Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
No worked on. But yeah, he's from backdown rulege LSU
San Francis. This is a buccaneer. It's not a forty
nine er. He and just fake nodded his head, so
I know I'm right. You gave it away. You did,
didn't you? Yeah you did, Yeah you did. It's okay.
Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
I'm not gonna move my head. And I'm a muscle
now right.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
So it's a buccaneer played for Eli.
Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
Michael Clayton, no Cadillac, Williams, no next clue.
Speaker 8 (01:16:19):
He led the Bucks in receptions in the playoffs during
their twenty twenty Super Bowl run. This is a recent Buck.
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Godwin, no top five pick, recent buccaneer from LSU Goye.
This is like when I took out of New Class.
Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
He was the fourth overall pick.
Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
This is embarrassing. I bet.
Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Not giving clue. Okay, don't give it clue one more
that I think should. No, I don't want that one
because I don't want it to be easy. Because Leonard
for next, Oh my Leonard Fournette.
Speaker 8 (01:16:58):
Wow, he let him in receptions, That's what I saw.
Receptions he had eighteen receptions, which was more.
Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
Brady was wrong. Super Bowl. Yeah, you know how Brady
likes his running back.
Speaker 6 (01:17:11):
James White was so good.
Speaker 8 (01:17:12):
Playoff le me, yeah, playoff like I tell you what,
go ahead? No, you go ahead to go ahead.
Speaker 3 (01:17:17):
I was about to say that Leonard Fournette is one
of the few players I.
Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
Watched play college football and said he doesn't need to
play any more than five games.
Speaker 3 (01:17:24):
Send him to the league.
Speaker 8 (01:17:25):
Now, Yeah, So that that was part of the final
clue is that he was drafted by the Jaguars in
twenty seventeen and rushed for one thousand yards as a
rookie ten touchdowns as a rookie too.
Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
So that was good, bro, that was That's probably one
of the best. That was one of your best ones.
Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
That's what's up. I'll give a half I'll give a
half victory on that that because that was that was
a good one. Man. You guys got both sitting.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
There because when you say receptions, of course we.
Speaker 8 (01:17:49):
Both go receiver, right, But then it's like no, That's
why I said, God, what do you think of what
made Fournette so good for fantasy during like, you know,
his last few years. I don't even know what he's
doing these days. But well made him so good was
the fact that he caught the ball.
Speaker 5 (01:18:01):
So much out of the backfield and to bounce off
your You saw player in high school and in college,
you thought, I don't need to play no more than
five games. I introduce you, guys. I employ you guys
to go back and watch highlights of Adrian Peterson's For
sure here at Oklahoma, it was insane. I've never saw
a player that big at that age playing running back
(01:18:23):
that had the explosiveness he did. Once he stuck his
foot in the ground and was punching to fifth gear,
it was, oh there was You were not catching him.
And I've seen Eric Dickerson and Eddie George was another
big back that had to speed, but they did not
have Adrian Peterson speaking. Remember the highlight where he gets
spun around in the three sixty, but he doesn't but
(01:18:45):
he doesn't slow down.
Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
He's still fascinated.
Speaker 5 (01:18:48):
He's spinning and doing three sixties and shaking off a
tackler off his waist while keeping maximum. Yeah, Adrian Peterson
was that guy. Was definitely made in the lap somewhere.
He's a He's a marvel character.
Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
So Lenny actually is now a twitch streamer and he
also has a YouTube channel, and he's he has the
latest video is coaching debut twitch streamer honestly makes me sad.
Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
Coaching debut sounds like he's doing some coaching. He's over
here streaming on you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Tell me podcast generation? Why why why does Leonard Fourne
have a podcast?
Speaker 3 (01:19:28):
Leonifourne is a YouTube channel.
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
He should own a used car dealership, either in Tampa
or or in Baton Rouge. And that's what he should
be doing, all right, covering up decks. We'll get to
the picks and the atomic dogs and more. Leonard Fournette
upsetting as Martin White VJA Husky.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
But let's go ahead, get it started. It's time for
the Atomic Dogs.
Speaker 8 (01:21:29):
All right, let's update the scores from last week Atomic Dogs.
I was not here, but Patrick, who filled in, sent
me the scores. You both went one and two. But
what makes that actually pretty impressive is the fact that
favorites last week went thirteen and one. So there was
only one underdog the hire week of matchups?
Speaker 3 (01:21:47):
Who won?
Speaker 8 (01:21:49):
Who won their matchup? And you guys picked it, and
that Carolina Panthers.
Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
And I want not only was it one team that
win that we both spotted, it was the freaking terrible
the Panthers will that's won three games in the last
two years. Remember last week I joked though there's gonna
be a barn burner.
Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Tune into this game tomorrow, guys, there's.
Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Gonna be able. You said that and that the best
game last week was Patriots Titans. Yes, second bet, yes,
starting on me Carolina.
Speaker 3 (01:22:18):
That the that the bad teams are gonna have the
best games last week, and look what happened. But now
overall overall VJ ten Martin nine.
Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
So right, dogs, let's Gord VJA go ahead with your
first atomic dogs. All right, man?
Speaker 5 (01:22:31):
So my first atomic dog, man is I'm gonna reach
out to a team we were just talking about, and
that is the Commanders. They're at home, they are three
point favorites. I know I've banged on Russell Wilson, but
if you're going to play defense like the Steelers have
been playing defense, and just like I said about the Chiefs,
where's like I'm not going to gainst him anymore until
they prove me wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
We keep waiting for the Stealers the fall apart year
after year.
Speaker 5 (01:22:54):
If the year and it doesn't happen, I think they
go into Washington Tillmorrow and get a big time win
to keep up.
Speaker 3 (01:23:02):
With the Ravens in that AFC North.
Speaker 5 (01:23:05):
And it sets up Thursday night with the Commanders against
the Eagles for sole place in first possession. Give me
the Steelers and the defense, and Rus's not turning the
ball over tomorrow. They're running the football to go get
a sneaky road win at the Commanders our first dog.
Speaker 2 (01:23:21):
That was my second dog, but I'll go ahead and
make it my third, just to continuity sake. Mike Tomlin
as a short underdog. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
That's an investment strategy.
Speaker 2 (01:23:29):
All right, I'm not an advisor, but that's an investment strategy.
Plus two, the Commanders sneakiley have won games against pretty
bad teams. Pittsburgh not a great need in the hell, Marya,
I believe, not a bad team. Give me the Pittsburgh Steelers.
You're you're up next.
Speaker 5 (01:23:45):
I'm up neck all right. Mark's not gonna like this,
but he might like it by the way I throw
these numbers at y'all. Do you guys know what the
long term record is for interim head coach in his
first game straight up is eighteen and twelve since two
thousand and eight, seventeen and thirteen against the spread.
Speaker 3 (01:24:03):
My man dared Rizzi.
Speaker 5 (01:24:05):
Their interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints at
home tomorrow. If you remember him from a snorty cocaine.
They ain't getting caught by a side check. When he
was with the Dolphins as their special team coach, is
the interim coach. I think a new voice helps them out.
Martin down light the Falcons, so I think he might
agree with this, but I think tomorrow they go get
a home win. They are only three and a half
(01:24:26):
point underdogs at home. Give me the Saints and their
interim coach. They keep that positive number flowing. Make it
eighteen and thirteen straight up as an interim head coach.
Give me the Saints tomorrow at home over the Falcons,
three and a half point underdogs as my second dog.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
All right, I was about to say, I don't remember
that happening to Darren Rizzie because it wasn't Darren Rizzie.
Speaker 3 (01:24:49):
Chris Forrester is the guy you're.
Speaker 1 (01:24:51):
Oh, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:24:51):
You're right, Chris Forrest. They're not Darren Rizzy, so right now, like, no,
it's not true, Like defamation of character.
Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
Is so bad.
Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
He was the assistant Dolphins, uh special teams coach when
he was there.
Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
Oh, Forester, my bad, I'm bad. A minute, Yeah, I
got mixed on the records America America.
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
That's Vj's fault.
Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
I got him mixed up. But you remember the guy
I'm talking about though. Anyway, all right, my second dog
will be I. I just can't quit this team right now.
Give it the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (01:25:20):
Give me the Patriots again. They should have won last week.
Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
And I know that the offensive line terrible, Chicago's defensive
line great. Here's the sneak, the quiet part allowed that
no one, no one, no one is saying about the
Chicago Bears. They didn't want Caleb Williams to be their quarterback. Initially,
they wanted Justin Fields. The locker room was talking about it.
DJ Moore was talking about it. Now Ded Anymore was
walking off of the field Chicago, Matt eve Reflus, it
(01:25:45):
was nice knowing your thanks for the memories you got
left in five games left in your head coaching tenure
for the Chicago Bears.
Speaker 3 (01:25:52):
You're giving that one to the Bell Okay, wow, that's
what I'm giving that one to the Patriots.
Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:25:56):
Got the Patriots? Is that's so I sold your peel? Yeah, okay,
all right, we'll see. I don't hate it, but I'm
not stry to win with that my last one.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
This is an easy one for me.
Speaker 5 (01:26:08):
Is I told you guys about fifteen minutes ago. You
think the sports guys are gonna disappoint me? You think
the football guys are gonna disappoint vj Vernon Husky, who
praise and worships and tells everybody they need to pay
more attention to the sports guds. Monday night, I will
be as so Far for the Dolphins, whom my partner
to the right things.
Speaker 3 (01:26:25):
The year is over. Tua, my man ooh so, has
been back and been on fire. It ain't been his fault.
Speaker 5 (01:26:32):
He comes back. They're averaging almost thirty points. We lose
some guys on defus, but we have some guys coming
back tomorrow. Javon Hollins lest it as questionable he should
strap up and play. Tyree's gonna be just fine. I
understand the Rams have been playing great defense, but I
think that offense when Tua is there, is a different thing,
and everybody knows it, and everybody that's a part of
(01:26:52):
it and been a part of it keep saying it.
And I will witness the Miami Dolphins going into so
Far as a one point underdog.
Speaker 3 (01:27:01):
Vegas think this game is close too. They're gonna pull
off the upset.
Speaker 5 (01:27:05):
They are eleven in one straight up against the Rams
of the last twelve, but they are one to fourteen
when they are an underdog in the last fifteen, where
the Rams are ten to one as the phase in
the last eleven. Something's gotta give, Martin.
Speaker 3 (01:27:19):
Some's gotta give.
Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
Baby.
Speaker 11 (01:27:20):
I'm going with the mighty Miami Dolphins, Baby with me
in attendance to knock off the Rams, and that is
gonna be the number one underdog Atomic dog all weekend long.
Speaker 3 (01:27:33):
That's my final Atomic This is gonna be my.
Speaker 2 (01:27:35):
Hottest take of the week. I know it already.
Speaker 3 (01:27:38):
It might be November ninth, might be how to take it? Oh, okay,
go go with it. The Kansas City Chiefs lose.
Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Their first game Sunday four o'clock Easter one o'clock as
the Denver Broncos walk into.
Speaker 3 (01:27:56):
Arrowhead and beat them just like they beat them last year.
Speaker 2 (01:28:00):
Eight and a half point underdogs is definitely something that covers.
Sean Payton is fifty eight percent against the spread on
the road, He's sixty percent as an underdog and one
of my favorite additors in gambling. No team is ever
as good as they were last week. No team is
ever as bad as they were last week. It got
off the res a little bit for Denver last week
in Baltimore, but before that they're playing really good ball.
(01:28:22):
This defense is the key here. I think the defense
is able to hold the homes and the Tansas City
offense down. De hop Patzertan, welcome to Alcatraz. All right,
that's the way I'm looking at this thing. Going to
nobody else in Kansas City's getting open.
Speaker 5 (01:28:36):
Okay, Denver one in sixteen in their last seventeen against well,
Kansas City.
Speaker 3 (01:28:42):
You know what, if they win this one, I think
it'll be two and one in their last three.
Speaker 1 (01:28:45):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
Yeah, that's one of the fins.
Speaker 8 (01:28:48):
Okay, moving into picks now, we got to update the
scores for picks. So in week nine, Martin, you went
two and three and VJ my man, you went five
and oh it's you this week you can congratulations are.
Speaker 3 (01:29:01):
An order on thank you?
Speaker 5 (01:29:02):
Well, I'm nine to one in the last two weeks.
I went four to one last week. Okay, so you
have I'm nine to one in the last two.
Speaker 3 (01:29:07):
So if you're gonna let him.
Speaker 8 (01:29:08):
Get it right, lead you have seized the lead VJ
twenty five and eighteen on the season, Martin twenty three
and twenty So still close, still close, but VJ has
come storming back. So let's get to the Week ten
picks first. We'll start with the forty nine Ers versus
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Niners are favored by six and
a half points.
Speaker 5 (01:29:29):
What do we think, man Tampa Bay sporting the thirtieth
ring defense right now, but the fifth ring offense in
San Francisco has top five offense also to their defense
is just a lot of better. But I the Bucks
had that game, they had the Chiefs. This team is legit.
That off is legit. Baker's legit. Their defense has to
come around the thirtieth in the league, and at this
(01:29:50):
point in Week eleven, it's just not good enough. But
they're at home. They're at home. I'm give me the
Bucks definitely that cover this six and a half. I
definitely like the Nineers going in there beating them by
a down on more. I'll take the Bucks to cover
on this one easily.
Speaker 3 (01:30:02):
I'm with him. I'm taking the Bucks too, and I
just partly I think.
Speaker 2 (01:30:06):
This is seven and a half because Christian mccaffre is
coming back, is just first game back, and he hasn't
played in ten weeks.
Speaker 3 (01:30:12):
Maybe he looks fresh as hell and I look like
an idiot. I think he looks a little rusty, all right.
Speaker 8 (01:30:17):
Next up, we got the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Two teams headed in opposite directions in terms of the
way they're trending. But the Eagles are favored by seven
and a half points, more than a touchdown plus an
extra point.
Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
What do you guys think?
Speaker 5 (01:30:30):
Man, the Dallas gets teams big leads and then they
come back on them. Teams have gone up on Dallas
and they come back. I don't think that that happens tomorrow.
What Kuon Barkley first of all, needs his natural ass
kick for jumping over somebody backwards and embarrassing him like that,
and the whole.
Speaker 3 (01:30:47):
Goodness grace. He's got chilch of sakwan. He's already got
high school players trying to emulate.
Speaker 5 (01:30:51):
Dude, have a Yeah, I saw dog you talk about
two offseason moves. Derrick Henry sa Kwon Barkley. I think
they both worked out for those seams. I just think
this is too much, Eagles too much. Saquon no, no Micah,
no Dak This this season is gonna play. Is Mikeae's
gonna play?
Speaker 8 (01:31:06):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
Well, he's been right, he'll be risky, he's been out.
But Dallas season is done.
Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
I think I think the Eagles going here and uh
and to take control of his game and give me
and give me the cover.
Speaker 3 (01:31:14):
I think they go in there and they win at
least by ten points.
Speaker 2 (01:31:16):
Yeah. I absolutely hate laying points over a field goal
with Phildelphia, the team that has scored guess how many
points in the first quarter?
Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
Seven? Yeah, last week, all year. But I don't love
But Dallas is done.
Speaker 2 (01:31:28):
If they had anything going on, they would have covered
against Atlanta Cooper rush back there. This is a game
that I can't in good conscience take the Cowboys plus
seven and a half. It feels like I should, and
on Sunday when I watched them back door cover, I'm
gonna be furious. But give me the Eagles and seven as.
Speaker 3 (01:31:44):
A favorite here all right?
Speaker 8 (01:31:45):
Next up, my New York Jets are favored by two
points over the Arizona Cardinals. Like last week with the
Texans line, it's a little interesting, little little confusing line there,
just in terms of how the Jets have looked and
the Cardinals are trending well leading the division.
Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
But yeah, Jets minus two, what do we think, nah man,
bob Ass, Jets ain't beating No damn but not alright.
Speaker 7 (01:32:04):
So.
Speaker 3 (01:32:05):
No, Kyler, Kyler looks good.
Speaker 9 (01:32:07):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:32:07):
Kyler looks like he's in mid season form.
Speaker 5 (01:32:10):
And just honestly, when when I look at the Jets,
it's they're they're roller coasters, they really are. They're up
and down. They winning games they probably shouldn't win. They
probably should have beat Minnesota. I admit that Minnesota. But
Aaron Rodgers throws the pick six to Van g Eagle.
That's the difference in the game. I think something like
that happens here. And then, as Martin likes to say, Mimi,
when that guy gets going, man, and when you need
him to make a play, he just got a dog.
I just that is brilliant.
Speaker 3 (01:32:31):
We need to find a drop for that.
Speaker 5 (01:32:32):
But when he gets going and he's just making plays,
he to me, he's right there with Lamar Jackson. He's
just as dangerous as anybody else in the sport of
football in the National Football League.
Speaker 3 (01:32:40):
Give me the Cardinals. Give me the Cardinals to get
this dubb and cover tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
VJ. You already know who I'm thinking of this game.
When I said the Cardinals were gonna win the West
make the playoffs, these were the games I expected them
to win. Right here.
Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
They were a funny They were a funny underdog against
some charges.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Remember what happened there? Zoom all right, funny underdog as
the Jets zoom again. Give me Kyler Murray, Jonathan Gannon
and the Arizona Cardinals not only covered this one. I
would have put this in my Atomic Dogs, but I
want to talk about this one too much. The Cardinals
are gonna roll this team.
Speaker 8 (01:33:13):
I will say this is a textbook game that the
Jets would lose. Is right when they get fans hopes
up again, they just fall flat on their face.
Speaker 3 (01:33:20):
Also, just real quick.
Speaker 2 (01:33:21):
About this game. Last I saw was that even has
is this swayed either way?
Speaker 12 (01:33:25):
I saw it, Eddie. It's been moving, Jets move, and
that's kind of what I what I was hinting. Where's
it that right now for the Jets minus two? Jets
are favored. Yeah, Oh, ain't no way in hell. Ain't
no way in hell.
Speaker 5 (01:33:36):
I should have took this asn't I as one of
my time A cardinal Cardinals get this one tomorrow.
Speaker 8 (01:33:40):
Next up, we got the Detroit Lions facing off against
the Houston Texans. The Lions, as you might expect, are favored,
but it's only by three and a half points.
Speaker 3 (01:33:50):
So what do you guys think?
Speaker 5 (01:33:51):
Man, this one's a tough one for me because number one,
it's NBC Night Football tomorrow. The world's gonna be watching.
They put this on this schedule for But give me
the lines with this three and a half. I think
this game is close, but I think there's a late
touchdown that makes it like a four point five point
game where the Texans have to go to length of
the field. They've been flying close to the sun a
(01:34:13):
lot of their games, man, and sooner or later they're
gonna get burned up if this could be won his
game because this line's offense. It doesn't matter if they're
on the road or if they're at home, and this
game is on the road, but it's indoorsed, there's no weather,
there's no grass stands on the all white jerseys like
Dan Campbell would love. This is just you know, we're
gonna just beat you up front. We got the skill guys.
You guys are still missing some guys, our quarterbacks. Betting
your quarterback.
Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
Give me the lines to cover. Did you know that
the Detroit Lions over the You know what I got
this wrong?
Speaker 2 (01:34:40):
Anyway?
Speaker 3 (01:34:41):
Started this season, no, sir.
Speaker 2 (01:34:43):
The start of the season eight and one against the spread,
last five games five to zero against the spread.
Speaker 3 (01:34:49):
Jason McIntire told me this the other day. In the
last fifty five games, forty and fifteen against the spread.
Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
Now, that's what I was trying to double check this now,
But Jason McIntyre total to me, and you know what,
we talked on the same radio. I'm going with it.
Give me the Lions, Give me the Lions and a
game that honestly, I've been on this for a couple months,
a couple of weeks now on the game that has
everybody saying what's wrong with the Texans afterwards? This is
gonna be the moment where it's like, Wow, the Lions
just molly wapped them. I think they went by ten.
Speaker 5 (01:35:16):
I think it's more of a storyline, just realque I'm sorry,
but I think it's just more of a storyline of
how the Lions have a ride the rod like we
kind of know, we know now. I think that's happens
Monday morning after this game.
Speaker 3 (01:35:27):
Yeah, the Lions are legit, no doubt about it.
Speaker 8 (01:35:30):
Last game, we've got the Bills facing off against the
Indianapolis Colts. Colts, you know, they came up a little
flat last week after benching Anthony Richardson. They might be
a little hungry to come back. The Bills are favored
by four, though, what do we think backup quarterback? That's
the answer right there.
Speaker 5 (01:35:43):
I love my man, Uncle Flax, that's my guy, but
at this point, you just don't have it anymore. And
I'm not gonna sit here and try to be a
hater for the Bills. They have enough weapons, you got,
Josh Allen. It's on the road, it's indoors, it's out
of the weather, it's out of the inclement or anything
like that. So I think they'll do enough, dig get
it up. I can see this as being like a
ten point win for the Bills, and them all give
me the Bills.
Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
I'm gonna take the Colts. I'm gonna take the Colts
to keep it close. Bills win this thing. But I
since Buffalo really stepped on the gas against Baltimore. I
feel like I haven't seen that same offense. And I
know they got a Mari Cooper. He can't stay in
the lineup for whatever reason. I think he's questionable for
tomorrow at a risk that kept him out.
Speaker 3 (01:36:18):
Of last week.
Speaker 2 (01:36:20):
I'm gonna take the Colts again, and I'm gonna be
sick about it if I watch this old ass Joe
Flacco lose me this game.
Speaker 3 (01:36:25):
They only scored six points on offense last week.
Speaker 5 (01:36:27):
They're They're five and seventeen. Their last twenty two is
the under doctor Colts are. It just doesn't The numbers
just don't bear it for me. And it's a back
I want to gain. It's a backup quarterback it is.
I'm gonna go ahead. I'm still gonna take him though,
you know, all right, what can I do? I know
I'm trying to help you there.
Speaker 3 (01:36:41):
I'm not trying to give you been another game on
the floor.
Speaker 6 (01:36:45):
No do it.
Speaker 2 (01:36:45):
That was five.
Speaker 5 (01:36:46):
That's five Titans, Chargers, Chargers, Vikes. I want to ask
you about Vike's jags. Vikes have been kind of slipping.
You've been banging on the jacks. You've been right around,
but they're the Jags are playing close. They they probably
should have been Philly last week. Yeah, I uh, tough one, right, Jack,
Vikes like Mike's need this one, right, and Vikes need
this one. They can't go down to Jacksonville and lose,
(01:37:07):
especially if the Lines win and the Packers win.
Speaker 3 (01:37:10):
Right, you know, I've taken it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
I'll take it.
Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
I'll take the Jacks plus four. I take the Jacks
plus four.
Speaker 8 (01:37:15):
Honestly, I think you got to remember, though, Trevor Lawrence.
I think is out It's gonna be mac Jones.
Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
Oh, you're right, it is. It is mac Jones.
Speaker 2 (01:37:21):
You're right, it is mac Jones. To retread kind of
to retread quarterback all the Battle of the unwanted.
Speaker 8 (01:37:28):
Yeah, but people forget Mac Jones as a rookie was
he was not. He was a pro bowler as a rookie.
Speaker 5 (01:37:34):
Stop god stop, you know not doing this. This is
what makes me doing And shut your mouth. I had
a mac Jones Rookie of the year.
Speaker 3 (01:37:41):
Shut shut your mouth.
Speaker 2 (01:37:42):
I had a mac Jones Rookie of the Year ticket
and he finished the second shot your mouth, and I
had it at twelve and a half to one because
Cam Newton at the time was the starting quarterback. I
just sad, like that's how long it was that Mac
Jones was a pro bowler. Cam Newton now on television
was the starting quarterback going into it. But coming up next,
it's almost been that long since we saw this NFL
(01:38:03):
star and it makes his debut of the season tomorrow.
What does VJ expect get to it? Coming up next,
Martin White' VJ Husky, Fox Sports Football Saturday, Martin VJ
coming to you live from the tire Rock dot Com Studios. Now, Hero,
we'll do this real quick before we get to Steve
de Saga will have Ja Deep and Kell coming up
(01:38:23):
at the bottom of the hour. College Football Insider for
on three. But Christian McCaffrey is coming back to San Francisco. Yep, right,
So now they have their full compliment, right. They have kittleback,
they have Samuel back, they have McCaffrey back. Obviously, you
is gonna be gone for the rest of the year,
but you kind of got the band back together.
Speaker 3 (01:38:43):
And you know, four and four record so far, Tampa's
four and five.
Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
After they inserted Baker Mayfield into the lineup last year,
they've pretty much been a different team, right, They were
kinda float they had Tom. Once Tom retired, they were
kind of floating in the wind. Got Bayer all of
a sudden, you know, not necessarily.
Speaker 3 (01:39:02):
The bridge it was it Jay, No, it wasn't Ja.
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
Who was the bridge? Who's the bridge from Baker? Who
was there before Baker? I know Kyle Trask started games?
Speaker 3 (01:39:10):
Did he okay?
Speaker 2 (01:39:12):
Either way? From Florida?
Speaker 1 (01:39:13):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
Either way. But here's the thing. So now Rock Party's
contract is up soon and he will have to be
extended if he wants to remain a member of the
San Francisco forty nine ers.
Speaker 3 (01:39:23):
We all kind of think that's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (01:39:26):
But the question is, when you sit here and look
at this, you have Brock Party in baker Mayfield going
against other Baker Mayfields.
Speaker 3 (01:39:31):
On thirty three million dollars a year.
Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
Brock Party could be up to fifty five sixty million
dollars a year when this is all said and done.
And then you consider the success that Sam Darnold has
had this in the start of this season. Just like,
where do you land on the pay Rock Party or
find a black, better retread quarterback that you can get
at thirty to thirty to forty million dollars or keep Brock.
Speaker 3 (01:39:57):
At the fifty five to sixty five hill cost. Well,
question first, all, I'll ask you this. Could they've paid,
could have given him property.
Speaker 2 (01:40:02):
He's not eligible until not eligible, So then I mean,
so you had to take care of Ayuk Okay, right,
I mean CMC is already making his bread.
Speaker 5 (01:40:11):
De Wo's already making his bread. I think Kittle's got
a good contract or a big contract. Worts, all right,
so then.
Speaker 2 (01:40:17):
He's next, He's next.
Speaker 3 (01:40:19):
You gotta take care of quarterback. Don't be stupid with this.
Don't try to go take care of a linebacker.
Speaker 2 (01:40:24):
But this Morner. So this was the thing that I
always had in my ass rush back when it was
Jimmy Garoppolo in this spot. The forty nine Ers eventually
made him the highest paid quarterback. Now that's obviously expired
by this point. But the thing is, Look, if you've
got a system that we believe is quarterback not dependent,
(01:40:45):
then maybe you should be looking for a guy maybe
you know this is maybe you should be looking for
a Bryce Young or another quarterback that is way less expensive,
but on a deal in which you can still afford
to pay everybody top five money, just something worth thinking about.
As we say, who knows, the answer is still unwritten.
We'll see that as it comes down. Pay Rock, just
(01:41:06):
paybrock Man. Don't even play around with him, Martin, don't
even play around with it. Just paym.
Speaker 3 (01:41:10):
Coming up next, we've got JD.
Speaker 2 (01:41:11):
Pikel on three College Football Insider and of the Hard
Count you catch them all over the place. But first
we'll go to Steve de Seger with everything trending in
college football right now. Steve, you're up.
Speaker 9 (01:41:22):
We got about a minute to go at number one
Oregon and the Ducks lead is thirty nine eighteen over Maryland.
Dylan Gabriel three touchdown passes late in the third quarter.
At number seven, Tennessee valls leading Mississippi State thirty to fourteen.
Speaker 2 (01:41:35):
Looks like the Bulldogs will fall to oh and.
Speaker 9 (01:41:37):
Six in conference. Under ten minutes to go. At number
ten Notre Dame, the Irish lead thirty eight to three
over Florida State, which is ready to fall to one
and nine overall. End of three quarters, Alabama leads twenty
eight to six At LSU. Quarterback Jalen Milroe three touchdown

(01:41:58):

to nine over Oklahoma. Missouri without its injured starting quarterback
Brady Cook final seconds of the third quarter. Number six
Penn State at home leads Washington twenty eight to three.
(01:42:18):
Huskies are driving it's end of three right now, and
on Fox TV Number twelve, Boise State is only leading
over Nevada twenty one fourteen early fourth quarter. Boise star
rusher Ashton genty on twenty three carries has one hundred
and twenty four yards and two touchdowns. At number eighteen, Pittsburgh,
Virginia has scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to
(01:42:39):
take the lead twenty one thirteen at pitt Late in
the third BYU at Utah underway about to start. Number
twenty one Washington State hosting Utah State, and it looks
like Alabama has scored yet again. An extra point.
Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
We'll be making it.
Speaker 9 (01:42:54):
Bama thirty five six over LSU Jalen Milroe with a
seventy two yard touchdown run that puts him close to
two hundred yards rushing and fur tds on the ground
tonight top ten wins for Ohio State, Texas, and Indiana,
which is ten and zero. Ole Miss ranked sixteenth, got
a home win against number three Georgia twenty eight to ten.
(01:43:14):
That game was sixteen to ten in the third quarter.
Georgia Tech at home upset number four Miami twenty eight
twenty three. Miami had been nine and oh this season.
By the way, that upset win over the Hurricanes was
already the tenth this season by an unranked team against.
Speaker 3 (01:43:31):
A top ten opponent.
Speaker 9 (01:43:33):
As for the non top ten games, it was Kansas
beating number seventeen Iowa State forty five thirty six twenty
a thrank Colorado won at Texas Tech forty one twenty seven,
you know, the top two in the Big Twelve Conference
currently BYU and Colorado Number twenty three. Clemson is at
pit next week. Clemson won at Virginia Tech today twenty
(01:43:53):
four to fourteen. Cade Klubnik three touchdown passes after trailing
seven to zzing at the half. Number twenty five are
Jury is still undefeated after winning fourteen to three at
North Texas. One of Army's touchdown drives was twenty one
plays ninety four yards and took nearly fourteen minutes there
off next week, then playing Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium.
(01:44:14):
Wins for Navy today and for Tulane as well. The
Houston Texans activated wide receiver Nico Collins. No guarantee he'll
play tomorrow night. Forty nine Ers activated running back Christian McCaffrey.
Sounds like an absolute guarantee he's playing tomorrow. The Giants
activated kicker Graham Gano. Falcons wide receiver Drake London is
reportedly expected to play at New Orleans after a hip injury.
(01:44:36):
Saints wide receiver Chrystal Lave was placed on IR after
a second concussion this season. Carolina safety Xavier Woods was
fined nearly seventeen thousand dollars for unnecessary roughness for his
hit on o Lave. Only four NBA games wins for
Utah and Chicago. Clippers are about to start up at
home against two and seven Toronto. Cleveland is ten and
(01:44:57):
oer after coming back to beat Brooklyn one oh five
to one hundred. In college hoops Ian Dallas. Number eight
Baylor defeated number sixteen Arkansas seventy two to sixty seven.
NHL Winnipeg fourteen and one after beating Dallas four to one.
MLS playoffs, Miami has been eliminated in the first round
by Atlanta. NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison passed away
(01:45:18):
at the age of eighty six. And since guys, I
know you were clamoring. There was the G League game
with the South Bay Lakers beating Salt Lake City tonight.
Brownie James two of nine, shooting four from three point range,
for assists, five turnovers.
Speaker 5 (01:45:33):
Back to you, and it was a sellout, Steve, because
they made sure to mention that last night when they
were playing the six Or is that.
Speaker 9 (01:45:39):
It's a sellout at a practice court that doesn't Yeah,
it seat one thousand, forget twenty thousand.
Speaker 3 (01:45:45):
I know where they played.
Speaker 5 (01:45:46):
So when they kept saying it on the broadcast, has said,
all right, this is ridiculous, this is yeah, this is
getting you're making I hate to you even use this
terminus for you're making us a kid with like a
what you'd say, make a wake whiskey.
Speaker 2 (01:45:57):
Let's let's let's move on. We got actual pressing issue
going on here. Let's get him in here.
Speaker 8 (01:46:02):
J D.
Speaker 3 (01:46:02):
Pickel, I've dubbed you this.
Speaker 2 (01:46:05):
JD the Bishop Magic, jan Don of college Football, The
on three Insider. You can sen some on YouTube, The
Hard Count, JD. How you doing, my friend?
Speaker 6 (01:46:15):
Hell was I jump on here talking from college football?
And as I'm waiting to jump in, Brownie James just
catches stray because I'm watching Jalen milrowin for a seventy
plus yard touchdown. So Jesus are flowing.
Speaker 2 (01:46:27):
It sounds like.
Speaker 6 (01:46:27):
Glad to be on with you.
Speaker 2 (01:46:28):
All. Yeah, appreciate it, man, And you're right, Jalen Milroe,
I'm putting together a better college career than Bronnie James did.
Speaker 3 (01:46:34):
That's for sure, better game today than.
Speaker 2 (01:46:36):
Brotney have ever had in his college career with I mean,
eleven carries, nine hundred nine, the yards are four touchdowns.
I don't care about whatever else he's been doing. Thirty
five to six right now? The score, Jay, Do you
want to ask you first about this Alabama team? And
then secondly do you see a world where a three
loss team makes the playoffs because LSU with this one
will drop the three losses. I see no.
Speaker 6 (01:46:56):
World in twenty twenty four when that happens. I think
as we as we can tinue you in this twelve
team experiment. It's going to happen. The Big ten has
been the surprise of this whole season. Like we got
Indiana probably shilling at eleven and one when the season's
done them to deal with Penn State. So are those
teams better than LSU at a neutral side, I take
LSU for both those teams. We're just going to keep
it a buck right now, but based on the resume,
(01:47:17):
LSU is getting left out at nine to three. In
regards to Alabama, man, I haven't seen this Alabama team
since they've played Georgia at the end of September. So
good to see them still up and kicking. If you
could guarantee me Jaln Milroe is good for anywhere from
eighty to one hundred rush yards in any given game,
Alabama is a national title contender. Now, I don't think
(01:47:39):
we get that level of consistency when it comes to
his production, but like when he is on, when he
is rolling, it just sets the table for everything they
want to do offensively. Second thought, on a macro level,
for Alabama, there was a lot of concern about Kaitlin
de Born, rightfully so. After the Vange game, the Tennessee game, like,
let's all just let let's chill out. He's gonna be okay,
Like they're going into Death Valley right now and they're
(01:48:00):
essentially mercy ruling the Tigers. He's going to be fine
in the SEC and hopefully it gives the people in
tu Lewilm to chew on.
Speaker 5 (01:48:07):
Yeah, he Kellenydmoor is going to be just fine. My
questions are about Brian Kelly. I just told Martin doing
the break that it feels like a James Franklin type
of career where yeah, he's got a bunch of good
teams sometimes, but he's just he's not gonna win a
national championship. Let's go to a team that I think
has an honest, legitimate chance to make it interesting, even
though they took a loss today and that was the
old Miss Georgia game twenty eight to ten.
Speaker 3 (01:48:29):
I want to spin it to the coaches right here,
j D.
Speaker 5 (01:48:32):
I'll ask you this, if I told you five years
ago that Lincoln Riley and Lane Kiffin would be it
ole missing su USC, but Lincoln Riley is the guy
that should be fired and Lane Kiff is the one
that's fighting for national championship.
Speaker 3 (01:48:46):
Would you believe me.
Speaker 6 (01:48:49):
I don't think I believe you, and then hopefully in
that next thing he'd say, oh, by the way, the
portal exists, and lank Kiffin is just absolutely taking everything
at launch from there, like like Black Friday.
Speaker 1 (01:48:58):
So no, I would not believe you.
Speaker 6 (01:49:00):
I would not believe you, and I would ask you
what substance you were under to make you believe that.
Speaker 3 (01:49:05):
That's right, that's right, tequila baby.
Speaker 2 (01:49:07):
All right now, I want to ask you this because
so Steve Hartman has the show ahead of us. JAD
you used to give you some information. Steve Hartman, he's very,
very proud of his Heisman vote. He talks about it
every week and he has a weekly updating all of that.
I walked into the studio today and after watching Colorado
play and I said, if you don't have Travis Hunter
number one year Heisman, I'm calling a committee and I'm
(01:49:28):
telling them to strip your vote. And he responded to me,
what if Aston Gents doesn't lose again? And then I
was like, well, you know what, damn it. I don't
have a good answer, So what Jd, You're the expert here,
help me out.
Speaker 6 (01:49:41):
I would say, Aston genty and Boyd state could run
it back and have beaten Oregon and have no losses.
And I'm still giving Travis Hunter the Heisman, like aston gent.
What he's doing is extremely impressive, Like I don't want
to water that down or discredit that, like he has
been phenomenal, but like what Travis Hunter is doing right
now not not only is the historic, we might never
see this again in the day and age where kids
(01:50:03):
are specializing not just in sports, but like you got
quarterback trainers out there in Los Angeles, like by seven
years old, Like these kids are quarterbacks and they're gonna
be d one, They're gonna do whatever. Like Travis Hunter
is playing two positions at of extremely high level for
a tower for college football team and know by the
way they control their own destiny to not just win
the Big Twelve, but by that regard, make the college
(01:50:23):
football playoffs. So it's Travis Hunter. It's not close, and
that's not respecting anyone else like this. This is legitimately
a once in a lifetime, once and potentially a lot
of lifetime kind of player, and he deserves a Heisman
the hands down.
Speaker 5 (01:50:36):
So I want to move into a team that actually
pitched the shoutout today and I was Ohio State beating
up on one to seven Purdue. But as I am
watching that game, I'm like, man, they're lucky that they're
playing one and seven perdue because at one point it's
fourteen nothing. They had to punt a few times, there
was a turnover, and there's some drives that's stalled. It's
it's like, God, they should be just walking through opponents
(01:50:56):
when you look at them on paper, But why are
they not?
Speaker 2 (01:50:59):
JD.
Speaker 6 (01:51:00):
I mean, to be fair, the final score was still
I mean, what forty five? Yeah, sure, so I think
I see where you're coming from. Though I think you
look at the slower start against Iowa on the box
score that maybe the slower start today can Ford. Truthfully,
what I saw from Will Howard against Oregon removed all
our reservations when it comes to what Ohio State is
(01:51:22):
going to be. And and they lost that game, and
it came down to a Will Howard bonehet move where
he should have gotten down earlier, and he's trying to
make a play in whatever. But like for him to
show up in that spot and to look so good
and go for I think it was darn year over
three hundred yards and he had three touchdowns through the
air and like I mean single digit incompletions, like all
the things he did in that massive spot on the
(01:51:42):
road to give Ohio State a chance. Like to me,
that was all I needed to see to just say, Okay,
it's there now either every single week, but it's there.
And so that was the question going the end of
the year was like, hey, will Will Howard be good
enough for Ohio State to go compete in these big moments?
And I think in that game that was the defense.
So all that have to say as they continue to trend,
(01:52:02):
I think they're gonna do what Ohio State teams haven't
done over the course for the last two seasons, which
is play their best football in November December.
Speaker 5 (01:52:09):
I'm surprised that you say that because the way I
see him is he'll be the reason why they don't
win the national championship. I don't think Ohio State's winning
the national championship this year. Even with the nil paid
rostern the players they all bought in, Will Howard would
be the guy is the reason why they won't. He'll
make another Bonehood play change my mind.
Speaker 6 (01:52:29):
I think to try and change your mind. Some of
the two is just like, hey, we might disagree to
disagree here to so much cent on the Will Howard deal,
but what I would say is porting to that situation
if there was a moment where Will Howard was going
to fold or was going to be the reason why
they were competitive against Oregon, and to me, like that
one play in a vacuum like on Twitter, I think
(01:52:50):
it reads nice to say that, hey, Will Howard's gonna
make the play here, Hey Will Howard reason they lost,
But like I mean, the guy was honestly the reason
why they were in that football game. The Ohio State
secondary getting to be like they stole something against organ
like Dylan Gabriel was putting the road to glory number
thinking it for like three bills and then change like
it was. I mean, it was ridiculous, and so I
think some of it will for any national title team
(01:53:13):
like that couldn't take the right pieces to come together
at the right time. But just knowing that it's there
that Will Howard capable, that to me said a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:53:20):
All right, Jay d give me a thirty second answer here.
We had two major upsets in the top five.
Speaker 2 (01:53:25):
Miami goes down, Georgia goes down. Who does the loss
impact more and why lost.
Speaker 6 (01:53:31):
Impacts Georgia Moore because I think they got exposed. I
think in some ways impacts Miami in a positive way.
Miami was a pyromaniac playing with fire week in and
week out. I think this is going to create that urgency.
I'm actually it just sounds bizarre to stay out loud.
I think Miami needed that. They got Wake Force, they
got Syracuse. I think they're going to run the table
and they'll win the ACC and play much better football
(01:53:52):
for it.
Speaker 3 (01:53:52):
All right, Darius, you can catch them on YouTube anytime.
That's the beauty of it. It's on to mad Let's
go click on it on three the Hard Count. That's
the Bishop Magic wand done.
Speaker 8 (01:54:01):
J D.
Speaker 3 (01:54:02):
Pquel the Boss of college football. Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 2 (01:54:05):
Brother.
Speaker 5 (01:54:06):
We're gonna keep it. Eye on that Will Howard situation though,
me and you, we'll talk about it next week.
Speaker 2 (01:54:10):
I'm sure. All right?
Speaker 3 (01:54:11):
All right, V Day shortly after show our podcast we'll
go up. If you're missing any today's show, will be
sure to check out that podcast. Just search Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (01:54:18):
Ever you get yours podcast might also be sure to
follow a rate and review pod. Guys also again, just
search Fox Sports Radio if you get your podcast, and
we'll see this show posted right after we get off
the air, coming up next by this time next week.
That's right, we tell the future. Yeah, Martin and Vjay
last segment of the day before we get to Aaron
(01:54:39):
Tours and Jason Martin, which, from my dollar, the best
college football recap show in America.
Speaker 3 (01:54:44):
And you're just looking enough to be tuned in right here.
Speaker 2 (01:54:46):
You don't have to change the channel, you can just
listen to it right and as Alabama pounding LSU, this
was a past the sticks game. Early Boise State opened
up a fourteen point lead on Nevada and now we're
looking at Montana play uc Day his little FCS football.
We got it all here on box and I'm sure
Steve Seger will be updating you on all of that.
(01:55:06):
But you know what, first, we debuted a new segment
last week. Yes, it's called by this time next week,
so I saw that, you know what, why not go
ahead and recap some of the ones that we got.
How about last week? Vj's first prediction was that the
Dallas Cowboys season will be deemed over with and that
is I said. The rest of the world will realize
(01:55:28):
that Dennis Allen is the worst coach in the NFL.
Fired on Tuesday or Monday, either Max Crosby, Miles Garrett
or Marshall Latimer will be traded.
Speaker 3 (01:55:36):
And said VJA, what Marshall Lattimore? Welcome to Washington, And
I said.
Speaker 2 (01:55:40):
There will be calls for Doc rivers head as the
Bucks continue to struggle. In that week they won a
grand total of one game. So with that being said,
it's time for by this time next week. Oh, I
heard it earlier today.
Speaker 3 (01:55:58):
We do have hashtag awkward five zero seven seven something
or other. Ricky sent me an email with it.
Speaker 2 (01:56:03):
But that's all right.
Speaker 3 (01:56:05):
I'm about to say it's in your hands, Bards.
Speaker 2 (01:56:09):
Some people make prediction. Martin and VJ tell the future.
It's time for by this time next week in a world.
Speaker 3 (01:56:23):
Oh god, J, you're first, all right?
Speaker 5 (01:56:25):
So I think by this time next week it will
be formal, which means Gionnie's people will have informed the
Milwaukee Bucks that they want that he wants to be traded.
As they come into this time next week, they will
be three and ten. They're sitting at two and seven.
They have the Celtics, they have the Raptors in a
(01:56:46):
group play game. Young team that can score. They have
my Detroit Piston's young team that can score, play some defense,
and they have the Hornets next Saturday.
Speaker 3 (01:56:54):
But it's a noon it's a noon tip.
Speaker 5 (01:56:57):
So by the time we come on the air will
be good to Y'allis will be asking for a trade
after starting two and three in ten.
Speaker 3 (01:57:03):
By this time next week, all the good feelings in
Carolina will.
Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
Be done with as the New York Giants pound them
into submission in Germany in a game that no one
ever should watch. The Giants are not that much I mean,
the Cardinals are not mean panthers that much worse than
the Giants.
Speaker 7 (01:57:18):
Here.
Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
They do have it.
Speaker 3 (01:57:19):
Let's hear it real quick.
Speaker 2 (01:57:20):
Told you it exists. VJ. You're up.
Speaker 5 (01:57:22):
There will be another coach fired. I'll double up on
one Martin things did last week. The Vikings take out
the Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence isn't playing. This could be some
type of injury that can linger. I think you go
ahead and just get it over with now. Rip the
band aid off. Doug Peterson af they're getting beaten his
brains in by the Vikings will be fired. By this
time next week.
Speaker 2 (01:57:41):
By this time next week, the conversation will be is
Caleb Williams even the second best quarterback in his class?
As the New England Patriots walk into Chicago and get
a win, Bears fall to four and five, and Matt
Eberflus continues his very nondescript coaching career.
Speaker 5 (01:57:58):
By this time next week to go to Warriors in
the Oklahoma See Thunder will have a stranglehold early on
the Western Conferences. Kevin Durant is now out two weeks
or more with a capstrain. The eight and one Suns
will start to fall, and the Golden State Warriors and
okse keep on plugging.
Speaker 3 (01:58:13):
By this time next.
Speaker 2 (01:58:14):
Week, this one team will have won its fourth straight
NFL game, and the conversation will.
Speaker 3 (01:58:19):
Be what's wrong with the Jets?
Speaker 2 (01:58:21):
The Cardinals are gonna blind tomorrow and everybody's gonna talk
about on Monday how Aaron Rodgers and DeVante Adams just
can't get on the same page, ignoring the fact that
the team in the Desert.
Speaker 3 (01:58:32):
Has been on a stretch since the end of September.
Speaker 2 (01:58:34):
That will do it for us. Martin and Vjay here
on Fox Sports Radio, Aeron Torres. Jason Martin up next.
Speaker 3 (01:58:40):
We out
