Speaker 2 (00:08):

Speaker 1 (00:10):
If they're working today, Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
The King of Sportsbooks.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
We're setting you up with the information you need to
watch your team. Wine is the eight game. We're here
to break it all time. This is Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet mg app. Now we're
live from your tailgame. Here's Brian no Hire, NFL Betteran,
(00:40):
Jeff Schwartz, and Professional Sports better Bill crack Krackenberger.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh, good morning, Welcome to Week ten. We got action
going on already, as it is the Schuba Hubbard Show
early on in Germany, as Carolina has a seven to
nothing lead over the Giants. This is also the Bryce
I'm sorry, the Jeff Schwartz Bowl, is it not.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Jeff is and the Giants right guard where I played
right guard, also were at number seventy four today and
he's wearing he has like elbow sleeves like I used
to wear. So I showed my wife this morning, looks
just like me. The Jeff Schwartz Bowl between Panthers and
and I don't like the Panthers all black uniforms, and
I'm not sure I even like the black helmet. But
they look these uniforms. They look pretty good with the
(01:27):
with the black top, the blue and the black bottom.
So nice game to start off early. I thought, I
said all week, I thought it was weird. The Giants
are favored by seven over anybody, or six and a half.
I get the Panthers are bad, but the Giants aren't good,
and they're showing so far not good. Bryce Young looks
really good. But Brian, before we get going on to
(01:49):
the NFL, I know, we like to talk about a
little college football first. Are we ready for a world
where Colorado is a playoff teamcause we're getting pretty close
to that. I'll tell everyone. I don't know if you guys,
if you, if you know you pay attention to that
type of thing. But and I've made my jokes about Colorado,
but think about the butterfly effect of one play of
(02:12):
a season. Colorado is down to Baylor, yeah, by seven,
with seven seconds left to look at their third loss.
I think in four games or five games, second big
twelve loss, they convert to Hail Mary go win in
overtime and haven't lost since. And to be fair, games
haven't really been close since. So you know, they get
(02:34):
Utah now on Utah is going to be dead after
last night, and then they go to Kansas and by
Oklahoma State and they're gonna play BYU in the big
Took Township game. You're one game away from the playoff
at that point. Kind of crazy. Didn't see that coming.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, good morning, guys. I had a quick thirty six
hour trip back and forth in New York and then
I just I had our chat muted. I don't know why,
I just I woke up this morning the chat. I'm like,
I want to tell you.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I thought I thought I took that personally, that you
didn't answer my text messages.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
I didn't even say them.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I was, I was sho. I actually kind of surprised,
like cracked normally, like it's pretty lipal with sending them
the props to us.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Oh yeah, props.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
God, there's nothing. I was like, Brian, I was, I
was a little I thought that that ten teen parlay
hit a couple weeks ago. I was the end of
our no no, and cracked in said none of those
the props over, there's nothing, just just cold cold turkey quitting.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
And then I and then know and normally that I
don't even know how I'm I don't even know how
I mute. I don't know how to mute it, So
I don't know how I muted it, but I muted
our chat. I realized something must have happened there. I
come home and my my studio's gone. So my wife
just like rearranged everything, and the studio is in the
next room over, so we've converted another bedroom. So a
(03:49):
lot of a lot, a lot of things going on here,
a lot of moving parts. So I got to get
to uh on the first break sending you guys scond
I only got like fifteen or sixteen of thems.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
I'll take all sixteen. Yeah, I'm not gonna say no.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
But yeah, another exciting Saturday college football this week, undefeated
Miami Hurricanes got their first loss, and b YU Indiana
boath stayed perfect with close wins. The SEC got a
little bit more crazy too. Yeah, Alabama crush tell issue
at home and I didn't expect that. By the way, those.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Which was the almost game or the bad was the
Alabama game like three.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
I think the line was was pretty good line.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, because Alabama has like number they're like one hundred
and twenty eight fifth country and penalties and they're terrible
and third down like all the things that typically do
not win you road games at night at LSU. But
the reason why guys, LS you lost was the was
the whole tiger gate. They decided to they have a
live tiger. Yeah, a live tiger. Okay, Mike the Tiger.
He's not allowed to go to the stadium anymore. They
(04:46):
used to put him in the tunnel, the visiting tunnel.
It's a little cruel like to put a little tig,
big tiger in a little cage. So they decided, you
know what, he's in the conservatory now. He lives a
great life. You can go to social media. Mike the
Tiger so crack. The governor of Louisiana decided we need
to have a tiger at this game. They brought a
backup tiger into the tunnel. And the picture they posted
(05:07):
yesterday of the tiger like sleeping in the cage was
Jesus pretty bad.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
And I.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Don't know if I'm someone who it was bad. It
was a tiny, little cage, and this tiger looked like
it had heat stroke. It was laying in this cage
like on the ground, like knocked out. It didn't look great, guys,
And that's why they lost. They brought in a backup tiger.
They brought a backup tiger.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I didn't know they brought in an impostered yes.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah. And the guy and the guy who owned the
tiger is it doesn't seem like the best tiger owner.
A lot of complaints about the way he raises his tigers.
And also he's had two of them escape his compounds.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
So so they brought they got out there. What do
you want from me? Like second goal at that? You know,
one tiger escaping, that should be it for you.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Do you remember, guys, Like first thing in COVID was
everyone watched Tiger King. It was the last show I
think we all watched every other because Game of Thrones
was the one where we all watched on Sunday nights. Right,
that was like the thing, and then that was over.
By then the Tiger King became a thing. We all
watched Tiger King immediately, and I mean that's basically what
who They hired Tiger King to bring an extra tiger,
(06:20):
and that's why LSU lost. It's that simple.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
You know the name of the impostor tiger.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
You know the name of that.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Lsu, I mean Lsu Tiger. Probably look it up. Of
what he says here, Cage Tiger wielded ls US Tiger
state for the first time since twenty fifteen. A governor's
behested a cage Bengal tiger was wielding the Tigers stadium
for the first time in nearly a decade. Just from
the ap right, the tiger was not the one which
(06:48):
lives on campus. Who's Mike the seventh uh followed the
death of Mike the sixth l s You don say
Mike's would not be brod on the field anymore. So yeah, yeah,
so I guess it's has the Mike. The tiger they
have now is an eight year old, three hundred and
forty five pounds tiger. It was donated to the school
sanctuary and it's a fifteen thousand square foot enclosure which
(07:12):
is on campus adjacent to the stadium.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Now, I went to visit Mike the Tiger, Jeff, Like,
we checked out the key, you did, Yeah, he's got
a beautiful little habitat over there. I'm sure under a
round looks like the zoo looks just like it.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
A tiger was imported from Florida for the game.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
And it did not go well. Man that game, that
was a beatdown. That was the Jaln Milroe show. Rushed
for four touchdowns. He was electric. It was just like
last year. It was Jaln Milroe versus Jayden Daniels, right,
and both those quarterbacks ran crazy. And it was the
same thing with Milroe against LSU. They had no answers
for that guy. None.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Well, he is when he is when he is playing
like that and sort of when the offense is in rhythm,
which it surely can be when they win basically when
they win first or second down, so they're not in
third and long, which one which is where Mille doesn't
want to be. Alabama can be that way. And also defensively,
that was their best game of the season. They had
not played that well on defense all season. And that's
(08:13):
what we make the playoff kind of fun this year
because Oregon's were really good. I'll brag say, like Oregon
had a down game and won by three touchdowns. It
it's a good spot to be in, right when you're like, yeah,
you know, I watched a film this morning and I
was kind of like I got that half through half
of it and was like, I'm not watching this anymore.
And Oregon just didn't want to be there. It just
you know, it's Maryland. It's a Big ten matchup. Yay,
(08:33):
Big ten but they won by three touchdowns, like Texas
dominated Florida. Georgia loss, I kind of saw that coming.
I thought it was a bad matchup for Georgia, but
like who, it does feel like in the twelve team
playoff there is a possibility and I ever thought this
is possible for some sort of other team to make
a run that we didn't think was cable doing that.
(08:54):
I don't think it's Boise, by the way, but you know,
could it by us undefeated still in a weird late
game last night make a run? Can Colorado make it?
But I mean Miami who lost yesterday, they're probably when
the ACC but maybe SMU wins the a SEC. And
it just there's a lot of the Big ten fields
pretty set right. You're getting four teams in the playoff.
It's Oregon, it's gonna be Penn State, Ohio State, and Indiana.
(09:16):
So those four teams are in Indiana. By the way,
do you hear what I said? Indiana, it'll be a
playoff team. It's unbelievable. They might beat Ohio State. I
wouldn't put it past them to go in the shoe. No,
you don't think so, Brian.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
You think they could go in there and take.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Them off a bye.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
I have a hard time seeing that their offense completely
shut down, Like it seemed like there's gonna be another
high flying game. Here we go some touchdowns right away,
and then it was just a slugfest against Michigan.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
One thing that is unique about college football compared to
the NFL is November, when the pressure is on you.
It's a little bit different because these are college kids
and they're not used to playing under this pressure. And
we're gonna say we saw this a little bit with
like Colorado in the second half of that game will
last five minutes. I just complete meltdown Colorado completely Texas.
Texas couldn't take advantage of it. We've seen Iowa State
(10:04):
now lose two weekends in a row. We saw Georgia
lose again. When November comes around, the pressure ramps up
so much that teams are not used to playing under
the weight of that pressure, and it can collapse them.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Brian.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
So that's something to think about when you think about
Cultoo ball. The last month of the season is like,
we see that happen often, where it's going really well
and then the weight of the pressure of everyone's saying
you should be doing this and doing that just sort
of just just kind of crushes teams.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
No, I can see that happening for sure with IU.
I mean, listen, going into the that's going to be
a big game for Ohio State also, you know, so
to go in there. Yeah, crazier things have happened. I
have a hard time seeing that. I'm not trying to
make Ohio State out to be world beaters, but that's
a tough task. And like you said, you got a
little glimpse of that yesterday where it's a fourth quarter
(10:52):
game against Michigan and that they're gripping. They were absolutely
gripping off offensively.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
They were Michigan's also, and they Michigan is a lot
like I compare them to like Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. Here,
this is my point, what I'm saying. They have a
lot of good players, They just don't play good as
a team sometimes. Yeah, like they have Michigan has mission
has a first round defensive tackle, a first round corner,
(11:18):
multiple offensive line and going in the NFL a first
round now, I mean, I don't love it's the first
round tight end, but he's certainly not a you know,
it's the Day two tight end. Like they have like
certain good pieces around them, they just don't play well
as a team because their offense is the most archaic,
boring thing of all time. Jacksonville's the same. Jackson has
a ton of good pieces around them. They just don't
play good as a team. And so that's the aught
(11:40):
to play about Michigan. And it's interesting to see this year,
you know, like where Florida State's at, where Michigan's at.
These teams are so good. Last season Florida State is
one in eight. Were they corner State? Brian three gets
not to day.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Yeah, I mean that's embarrassing. Do you know what that
pre flop By the way, guys, do you know what
that pre flop number was? The season you could bet
back in June these games come up.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Oh, I'm sure it was probably even even money.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
Very good two and a half it was two and
a half.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
How about this Indiana Michigan look aheadline in the summer,
was Michigan favored by them like fourteen? And that flipped
and then Utah BYU. Utah was faired by seventeen and
a half this summer over BYU and that game was three.
Last night was faired by three. These numbers can what
I made. I told you this before. I you know
sometimes I know correct, this is the NFL. I don't
(12:30):
do as much as the NFL. But you look at
a line in the future and you wager on a line.
So I got. I had a bad one where I
took this weekend Utah goes to Colorado. I thought Utah
was gonna be nine and oh right now eight to one.
I thought Colorado wouldn't be good. I took Utah minus
eight in the summer for this game, they're gonna be
at least a ten point dog. So I will I
(12:54):
miss that. I missed the number. I'm gonna take the
l on that one.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I missed that number, guys, that's that's the opposite of
closing line value right there. But it happens.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Something stupid. I covered the really bad number I got.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
I don't know how Utah.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
No, they're gonna get it.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Last night that was that was rough to not win
outright against BYU, and there was a defensive holding penalty
that kept the final drive alive. That's very controversial. And
the Holy War last night, but man, it's just been
one of those seasons for Utah. You don't see this
often from Kyle Whittingham in that team, but hey, man,
their guy, you know, Cam Rising went down and it
(13:33):
was just like all the mojo left. They got a
losing record, you know, like I.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Mean they had in the second half offs night. I
looked at out there, twenty five plays for sixty five
yards last night and five punts an interception the second
half of that game. Man, I mean, you can blame
the fisher all you want, and I'm not sure that
I would call down in the situation, but it looked
like a hold. Actually when you watch, there's some other
angles fans have of the play, but yeah, not uh
not great. So how great is this game in Germany?
(14:01):
I mean, I mean, I guess we have to watch
it to be ten to three.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Oh man, it's ball, you know, we got live ball
going on over here.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
It's not ye I guess it's the exist.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Matchup or performances over here. Like Daniel Jones had a
wide open neighbors on the first drive, wide open, guy
airmailed it, and the Giants have not gotten on track
at all. Chuba Hubbard is running wild on him. There
was a drive he had twenty five plus a pair
of twenty five plus yard and like one of the tables, trouble.
(14:30):
If this holds well, either Dable or Daniel Jones are
in trouble to go forward. You can't go to Germany,
lose outright to the Panthers and just stay status quo.
And there's a bye week coming up, you know. So
I'm this is not good, Like you know me, Jeff,
you might know crack. I have my Daniel Jones passing
(14:51):
yardage prop for the season. So I do not like
how this first quarter has played out in Germany. Here,
but it's like, hey, listen, if you eat the Panthers,
Daniel Jones plays relatively well, you're not going to make
a quarterback change. But if they lose and he's not
very good, they might. They absolutely might. All Right, we're
off and running. We got Jeff Schwartz eight year NFL
(15:13):

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Oh yeah, and man, they've been getting hammerned a lately.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Did you see the article I sent you guys about
about one specific book that had to like lower their
estimates because they got they got killed in October books books?
Speaker 4 (16:07):
I kind of really feel bad.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
I know, right, you feel bad for that, But the
problem is me who phase the public people. They're on
the heater right now.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
They are they have beat us, right, Jeff, that they
these people are winning. The Voice and the part of
the partender make their sense that they're winning because the
books are getting it, you know.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Like it's cost me some money. My phades are negative
for the season, which is insane. Last year I made
a lot of money on the fades, So hopefully this
weekend turns it around for me.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Man, it's like you almost have to reshape yourself.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Do you do that?
Speaker 2 (16:39):
We'll pick this back up.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
But oh, the Voice just put a wagers down and
I'm already on the other side of one of them.
So that's a good, good spot to be in.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Good Yeah, yeah, it's uh. We'll get to that a
little bit later. Where sometimes the square play is the
better play than the sharp play, Like how do you
navigate around?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
One game today that I love that is the Squares
platform time. It's the number one on the v Sin's
Average Joe Contest at number one play for today.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yeah, for the jos, But you're all over it.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
I love it. I can't love it enough. We'll talk
about that.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
All right. We'll get to that a little bit later
coming up, Christian Cipollini, He will join us here. It
is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.

(17:55):
we go a little German flavor over here with Ramstein.
I can never pronounce that?
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Rom Stein? Rom Stein? How do you pronounce this?
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Chris rob Stein?
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Stein?
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Like the next match?
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Yeah? Is this your go to in the gym there?
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Jeff?
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (18:12):
How do you know?
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Yeah? You know that you got down like that?
Speaker 3 (18:16):
I did? Yeah, crack.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
You know you got love for Motley Crew anything heavier
than that in the uh A little maiden going on there?
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yeah, I know that I liked that. I was laughing
at that one when it came out. I was like,
what is this? It's great?
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Really okay, Yeah, you gotta download it, put on your
playlist and everything.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
I gotta tell you during the break, guys, I love you.
I took a photo she said into the group chat
you guys, you know, I said, a bunch of plays
and then you had the voice. Both of you guys
are heavy into the like looking down, I could see
your fire and I'm like, that's what boy.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Well the question is that, Well, here's the question. So, like,
if you have a prop, yeah, let's say you have
it under fifty and a half receiving yards. Yeah, and
let's say it's a forty five and a half, that's
a no play, right, mean five yards at.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Five probably is a lot because but like if it's
like eighty six and a half down to eighty two
and a half maybe something like that, or this situation. Now, now,
when we handicap something, I'm gonna give you that exact
one fifty and a half, we project them to have
like forty and a half or something like that. Forty
you know, like, so it's it is. It is about
a twenty percent off. So, uh, that's funny. I have
(19:26):
two different proper guys. I asked one of them once
and that's what he told me. So, uh, forty five
and a half. I'd probably skip me personally, but it
might be a play. Yeah, just you know, you put
less peanuts on it.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Yeah that's yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Yeah, there you go, a let's dive into this.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Follow the money, real good money.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
All right.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Our may man, Christian Zippolini from bed MGM joins us here. Uh,
you're a Romstein fan over there, Christian, you get down
with anything heavy?
Speaker 5 (19:57):
Yeah, that was a good one you guys talk about Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Okay, So I gotta know Christian because we talked gambling
and football and we need to know you a little bit.
What's the musical genre of choice for you? What's the
main genre you get down with?
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Oh man, I'm kind of all over the place. I
usually don't stand in the country, but outside of that,
usually rock wow is usually my thought. Yeah, but yeah,
that's it.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yeah, very nice. I don't know how to transition from
rock to the NFL, you know, but I guess who
would be who would be like the headliner act in
terms of a money making team for you guys at
bet MGM throughout the first half of the season. Is
(20:44):
there one?
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Oh, I can go the opposite. I know the team
that are not money maker is the Lion. They've killed
us all season. Them and the Commanders have been the
two that have been destroying it. It might be the
forty nine Ers on this season just because they came
into this season with expects going to the Super Bowl
and they haven't covered in a lot of games and
then lost a bunch out right, It might be them
or even the Chiefs also probably are in that vein too.
(21:08):
Even though they're undefeated on the season and take a
lot of bets, they usually have pretty high spreads. They
don't tend to cover at a high rate.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Let's talk about the Commander of Steelers game. It feels
like a game where, you know, kind of like a
Pros Joe's thing where I think a lot of the
pros are on Pittsburgh. We know that Tomas good off
of Buye and the Extra Rest and road Dog all
these things. I kind of still like the Commanders. Anyways,
what are your thoughts in this game?
Speaker 5 (21:36):
Yeah, this is one of the line really hasn't moved
much I'm surprised at where we're at because right now
we're about close to seventy percent of our bets and
money on the Steelers. I certainly thought the public would
be coming in more on the Commanders. So maybe in
these next couple hours maybe that starts to change. But yeah,
a little bit shocked that her we're heavy on the
Steelers at this moment.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Christian, what's the big games today? I'm looking at some
of the lists that were sent to us from the
bed MGM. Guys, what's the big game today you would
need like to help out the book? What is literally them?
I'll say the top one or two games that are
there one way action and you're going to need the
dog probably.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
Far and away. Our biggest need will be the Texans
against the Lions. Covering they win. That'd be even better
it being a primetime game. We just take so much
more money in primetime games. And the fact that the
Lions have been our worst team on this season. They
take a ton of vets every single week, and then
we projected they're going to obviously take a lot coming
(22:41):
into Sunday night. So if we can get the Texans
that will probably end up covering probably the entire week,
even if we end up losing the rest of these games.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Christians, Yeah, is it true the last thirty days October?
I shouldn't say last thirty days because today's November tenth?
Is it true? October though, has been a really bad
month for most of the bookmakers out there. You guys
seem to be okay with pretty balanced action or is
it just the public is just slamming the books and
(23:10):
in the NFL I'm talking about Yeah, So.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
The story of the season has been September was fantastic
for the book, incredible. There was weeks some of the
best weeks we had, and then October was pretty much
the complete opposite. I don't think there was a week
I remember twenty twenty three there what an individual week
that was worse, but it was four straight pretty bad
weeks on a whole where if we won, it was
(23:35):
really small and we had a bunch of losing weeks
in between there. So October was really bad.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah, Christian, I'm just curious with a couple of the
teams that you've been taking it on the chin with,
how much will you move the line right if Detroit
is killing you, if Washington is killing you. It's not
a ton right, Like you're just gonna take it on
the chin because if you move it to my it's gonna.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
Go the other way, right, Yeah, exactly. So I mean
we will try maybe at times to go you know,
as far away off the off the consensus as we
possibly can. But realistically, over the course of the season,
you know, if the Texans end up covering against the
Lions tonight, that will be so massive that it will
kind of help off set some of the bad that's
(24:21):
happened throughout the year. So it's really just these numbers
usually just end up being, you know, the exact midpoint
of where these outcomes will fall. So as long as
we're following that, you know, it does tend to work
out over the course of the season.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Are you seeing a lot of Eagles money today? I know,
you know, no no Cooper Russia, the I mean, no
Doc pressure. The number didn't move very much. I was
probably built in that Doc wasn't gonna play. But is
everyone sort of hammering the Eagles tading you might need
the Cowboys again? I feel every week now because of
the way they played, you need the Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
I know. Weird season where we need the Cowboys pretty
much week in and week out. But yeah, outside of
that Lions game, for the you know, the regular one
and four DM slats, that will be one of our
biggest need be the Cowboys. We've taken mostly Egals money
so far, and I can't imagine we're going to get
a lot of people that are gonna want to bet
on Cooper Rush. So yeah, look, we'll need the Cowboys again.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
So I'm guessing you're going to need like you said,
you're going in Houston, and I'm guessing you're going to
need Jacksonville. It looks like the line has really went
up here from Uh, I understand the quarterback situation there,
but I'm I'm guessing people are still laying Minnesota, am
I thinking? Right?
Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeah, you've you've nailed another one that we'll definitely need.
Outside of that, the forty nine ers Buccaneers will be
another one that we'll need in that game. But yeah,
that line moved up quarterback and then similar thing. I
just don't think we're going to get a lot of
people that are gonna want to bet on Mac Jones.
So as of now, we've already taken about eighty five
to nine money on the vikings and that's something I
(25:46):
expect to continue.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
All right, Well, good stuff, Christian will let you get
back to listening to Slayer and Pantera and whatever whatever
else is on your playlist. Thank you, good stuff, but
you have.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
A good day.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah, there he is, Christian Zippolini bet MGM trading manager.
Good stuff. You know who else is big into the
metal scene? I swear I see him at these metal
shows all the time. It's Isaac Loewenkron and you you
wouldn't think, but in the mosh pit, my lord, guard
your face. This guy is a.
Speaker 6 (26:17):
Man I was in a band back in college called
Severe Tire Damage.
Speaker 7 (26:24):
It's actually a line from the movie Missus Doubtfire. By
the way, things well, speaking of damage.
Speaker 6 (26:31):
In Munich, Germany, Right now, fellas, the Carolina Panthers and
New York Giants are doing something.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
Oh they're playing an NFL game right now.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
Carolina has a ten to nothing lead over the Giants
with seven minutes left to play in the second quarter.
Speaker 7 (26:43):
Guys, would you mind helping me out for a second?
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yet?
Speaker 4 (26:47):
It okay for you.
Speaker 7 (26:48):
So here's what happened.
Speaker 6 (26:49):
So the Panthers radio crew in Germany is at the
stadium in Germany, but they lost their connection back to America.
So somebody in the studio he had to jump in
on the play by play when Carolina scored its touchdown.
So I'm gonna play that highlight. Can you guys help
me out and manufacture some crowd noise?
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Sure?
Speaker 7 (27:10):
All right, here we go and I'll hop out too.
But here it is. This is the only touchdown that
has been scores go far by Caroline. Here we go.
So it's third and goal for the Panthers at the
five yard line.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
Throwing up the signal, drops back again, slips a little bit,
and moves forward, finds in the back.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Of the end zone.
Speaker 7 (27:28):
That's a touchdown for the Panthers. Bryce Jones to the
back of the end zone.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
The tayon Sanders, all right, good, great idea by you
because it sounds Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
I wonder what crowd that was.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 6 (27:45):
So there you have it, the only touchdown of the game.
Carolina has also added a field goal. Daniel Jones four
out of ten fourth thirty four yards freaking terrible.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
I love good lord.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
Bryce in with a not bad eight out of eleven
for seventy nine yards. Again, six and a half minutes
to go second quarter. Carolina has a ten to dozing
lead over the New York Giants in Germany. NFL media
reports Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence will not play today against
the Vikings because of a significant ac joints reign in
his throwing shoulder. College football Saturday night number nine BYU
(28:20):
pulled out a twenty two to twenty one win at Utah.
After the game, Utah athletic director Mark Parland took the
press conference microphone to denounce the officiating.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Listen to this.
Speaker 6 (28:34):
I've been in a flag director for twelve years.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
This game was absolutely stolen from us.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
We were excited about being the Big twelve. But tonight
I am not.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
We've won this game.
Speaker 8 (28:47):
Someone else stole it from us. Very disappointed. I will
talk to the commissioner. This is not fair to our team.
I'm disgusted by the professionalism of the officiating tonight.
Speaker 7 (29:01):
Thank you, No Mark, thank you. Back to you guys.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Wow, thank you. It is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to
kick Off, presented by BET MGM wow. Bet is an
interesting moment right there. Hey, we're into uh this game
in Germany. Let's dive into it. Let's do this little
in game betting, fellaw in game betting, all right, So.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
What are you on.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
You want to dive in on?
Speaker 3 (29:34):
I think I think you can maybe like a Daniel
Jones having to throw the ball a lot like pass
attempts prop maybe like a it's at and a half,
thirty and a half, he's only ten past stemps. Nothing.
I don't know, man, nothing, What do you even do here?
Speaker 4 (29:56):
I'm looking at bet MGM's line there, live line right
now is Panthers are minus three and to have plus
one ten, so you have to lay a dollar forty
five on the Giants and the total of thirty five
and a half under minus a dollar twenty. Their money
line is minus a dollar sixty. So, boy, I tell you,
looking at this line and you just say to yourself, boy,
(30:19):
this is easily the most ugly game to bet on.
Like what this really would would force me to make
a bet here by you guys. You guys are forced
me to make a bet. If anything, I have to
stick with the under. But but I will tell you
having the money line on the Giants plus a dollar
forty that looks pretty interesting. I mean, Carolina can easily
fade in this situation. So again, not really pulling the
(30:42):
trigger on anything, but that's what I would do if
I was gun to my head.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Here we go, guys, Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay. Everything looks ugly,
just everything.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
It's an ugly game.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Yeah, it's pretty wild. Like Daniel Jones, he's got thirty
four yards passing. Jesus, it's total right now. His life
total is one ninety one and a half. It's like
they just had a flea flip flicker on third and short.
He had a wide open receiver, just he didn't pull
the trigger. He took a sack. They couldn't go for
it on fourth and short. They had to punt. It's
just been a disaster so far. And I know they're
(31:16):
gonna have to throw it, but I don't know. Getting
to one ninety one and a half.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Yeah, I said that. I'm on the bet MGM. So
it's amazing how many ways to bet games live. Oh
my god. They have every player, every quarterback, I mean
just every single thing you could bet live. And not
only that. You have the rushing yards, you have receiving yards,
you have the passing yards. Wow wow, really cool.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Yeah. Okay, so you ever, did you ever do.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
I don't think they have it here like drive props,
Like if you like, if they score touchdown on a drive,
I do that in college football. Well, I off have
to start a roll a little bit. I just take
out the score touchdown on a given drive. I got
lucky yesterday with organ at a fake punt and getting
me at home for that or great or in a drive. Yeah,
order form a little bit. They had a fake punt
(32:05):
that was run by their best defensive end for like
fifty yards. Then they threw a touchdown pass to a
backup offensive tackle who's playing tight end, and then had
a two point conversion attempt where they took their left tackle,
put them at quarterback, direct snap to him and he
ran the ball for a two point conversion touchdown, just
just just because I don't know why not.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah, messing around over that's an offensive lineman's dream lineup
and wildcatted in there.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
You know once a year in offensive line and catches
a touchdown. They always make sure they always do it
against bad teams. They never do it against good teams
because you can't do that. And it gets Ohio State
like they're gonna figure that out.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Man, I'll tell you you're living right though, if you've
got a fake punt to keep a touchdown drive alive
when they bring the punting unit out.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
I had some bad I had some bad breaks yesterday,
so I'll take I took a Texas Tech down. There
were down fourteen points to Colorado, Okay, with five minutes left.
I took a live plus thirteen and a half at
plus win sixty five. They go down a score touchdown,
which they're gonna college football, so they're down seven. They
forced a three nown for Colorado. Color punts the ball
back down seven with fifty seconds left. I've cashed a wager. Nope,
(33:15):
stripsack cars a touchdown. I lose by fifty ye oh
my god. I deserve to that fake punt to cash
that wager.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
And then it's and Shiloh Sanders is doing the older the.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Worst guy in their defense.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Just dancing on your bet. It feels like, you know,
that's ugly, That's that's very ugly. What was also ugly
in that game the fake punt. I think Tech was
down with something like twenty four to twenty.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
That was bad.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Texas Tech yesterday goes back to the idea that I
always tell you, guys, where I think teams lose games
more than they win games. Texas Tech, you've watching it.
They lost the game yesterday by the performance the Giants
today are losing. Daniel Jones stinks like more teams lose
games then win games, right, if that may I hope
(34:04):
that makes sense. Everyone know it sounds weird, but that's
that's certainly the case. Like they're just teams make so
many mistakes, so many mistakes and rather than teams like
just and I think that. You know, people will always
come on the Chiefs, Oh they're they're winning. The others say, no,
they're winning ugly. But but they they make the place
to win the game. And more important, they don't lose.
(34:24):
They don't make they don't make a place to lose games.
There's a value in that.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, no, absolutely, it's these teams, like there are teams
that if you just look at the analytics and all
the stats and you're like, this team's record should be
better than it is, and it's like there's a reason
why it isn't. To your point, right, they'll just invent
ways to get in front of themselves. So you see
that all the time, and the Giants they're assisting Carolina.
(34:50):
You know, by the way, our Carolina Saints bet season
long win total. I don't like this is headed, Matt.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
I actually did not know before last week and like
legitimately know that the Saints had two wins. I just
didn't think that they were. I just it didn't compute
in my head. They lost six in a row or
whatever it was. Yeah, I mean the Paps win this game,
I'm one up on you.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah wow, unless whod that rises up today against Atlanta,
which could luck with that, but uh, you know, oh.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
The Bartenders on Atlanta, So I got to be on
the Saints unfortunately.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Okay, Yeah, you have to ride that too.
Speaker 5 (35:25):
You know.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
It's hard to do when when someone's hot on a streak.
I think he was thirteen and ten this year, the
guy has like a losing record. Yeah, but you have
to just keep on betting against it and uh, and
you have to stick with it because in the end
you're supposed to win following a losing.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
I wish our crack showns by the way, it was
just me picking college football games, because I would be
I would be killed. I'd be winning a lot.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
I wish we could switch it to Prime though.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah, yeah, I mean yeah, game time it's about the same.
Yeah for the and sometimes I give you know, give
a on a Wednesday for my podcast, Like it's not
there anymore anyways.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
Can we just switch it to teasers on the spot?
Can we do?
Speaker 3 (36:06):
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
We gotta have more luck with that. All right. We've
got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper. We've
got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian no
coming up next to Parlay Platter. We'll each have one
selection for you. We'll pull it together for a greater payout.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM.
(36:31):
Every time you make a wager at BETMGM, you earn
BETMGM Rewards points that can be redeemed for things like
bonus bets or converted to MGM rewards points that can
be used towards dining shows and hotel rooms at over
twenty MGM resorts. All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Check this out our late letter.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
All right, we each have one selection for you we
pull it together for a greater payout. Crack. We'll start
with you, what do you like.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Man, Let's go with the Colt under twenty and a
half receiving yards, you know, the highest number for him
this season, and uh, you know sermon mixing in a
little bit on third downs. I think even know he's
having a good rushing thing here. I'm gonna go under
his receiving yarch.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
All right, okay, all right, I am. We're gonna take
the Niners first half money line minus two ten. We
have a parlay. It's I'm gonna do such a thing.
This is a really bad spot for the Bucks. All right,
short week off my football, they had eighty three plays
(37:35):
on defense. They were just like eighty three, you know,
spread them out past the ball players. It was eighty three,
just like a physical downhill chiefs running right at you. Football. Now,
guess what you get. A team off a buy who
has their best player back on offense gets what the
Niners are gonna do to you. Run the football every
play Like I know, this is a square play we
(37:55):
talked about earlier, like what play like this week? I
love Niners this week. It's not It's just a pure
like exodos thing. It's not number sting, It's not like.
It's just I think the Bucks are in a bad
spot in this game. I would be shocked if they
were able to put up a fight. And I think
vice versus like, I think the Chiefs will get Chiefs
Broncos like I think the Chiefs are on the same
way this week, and I think this is a tough
(38:16):
game for the Chiefs. So just a situation. So I
think Niners first half?
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Your crack.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (38:22):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (38:22):
What is it? Minus three and a half?
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Jeff?
Speaker 3 (38:24):
You go to take the money line? Okay, we got
a parlay. I mean I could, I could do that.
Such a thing that works. Crack has taken a minus
one fifteen pop. I can go on money line. Parlay
here money line.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
I mean, okay, you know I'm on the same game, Jeff.
You know me and the interception props. I'm gonna take
Baker Mayfield to throw an interception, so the official bed
is over, you know, zero point five interceptions. It's just
to throw an interception. Baker has played well this season,
but he's thrown picks, and I look for with all
(38:59):
these receiver injuries right, like it's Taylor made for an
interception he escaped last week against the Chiefs, even though
he had a an interception worthy throw should have been picked, wasn't,
was dropped. That's okay, plays defense, you know. But I've
got him throwing an interception against the Niners. I think
the Niners are going to be that's a.
Speaker 4 (39:20):
Little correlated there, just to let you know.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Yeah, they go. Okay, So that pays you plus three
to eleven with your bet crack at minus one point fifteen, Jeff,
your money line, my baker. That's better than three to one, beve. Right,
we go, by the way. I want to talk about
Daniel Jones and the Giants here through an interception just
(39:43):
deflected on a rollout. It's bad right now.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
That they gave him another guy.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Yeah, yeah, that's the handwritings on the wall. Man, this
is it. I just don't know if he's going to
get benched during the season, but this is absolutely the
final year that Daniel Jones experience. There is he wrote
doubt about that. All right, we got plenty to get to.
We are knee deep into Week ten with a matchup.
Maybe Krack will join the Three Amigos and we'll all
(40:11):
be on the same side. We'll find out next. Ah, yes,
welcome in here. We are less than two hours away
from the one pm Eastern kickoffs. We are at halftime
in Germany. The Panthers ahead ten nothing. The only way
this game is it's pretty is if you're on the under,
(40:33):
that's it. That's the only way. If you are just
watching it as a fan, or if you're on most overs,
that's that's not gonna be great. Maybe you're on a
Chewba Hubber Chuba Hubbard over and that's nice.
Speaker 4 (40:46):
Man.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
The voice was on the the under for the first
half in full game. So the voice is gonna start,
was gonna start tun oh today?
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Wow, that's nice start.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Wow I didn't I didn't get to the voice.
Speaker 3 (40:57):
Shit. Yeah, well that was in the app that they use,
but yeah, it was a.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
Public Maybe the regression is coming if that's a to
and no start, right. So let's move it to Niners
at Tampa. And this is the the ever like it's
so square at sharp spots, Jeff, you and I were
just on the Niners.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
Man.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
This is off of bye week. This is a gots
to have it game. You look at Tampa's past defense's thirtieth.
Their rush defense is nineteenth. You get Christian McCaffrey back,
it just screams Niners crack. Are you with us here
or would you actually take the six and a half
in roll with Tampa?
Speaker 4 (41:38):
I'd love to see a seven pop up there. I mean, listen,
of course, the forty nine ers are coming off of
all time by looks like they get their start running back.
And you know, we're just waiting to see this team
at full strength of local capacity. So and they were
like the preseason favorite or co favorite, so like win
it all. So and Tampa is far from full strength,
but able to stay in the game last week versus
(42:00):
the Chiefs. So Mayfield not look the sam since he
lost his two top targets, Evans and Godwin. But but
Tampa has found a way to stay in games. I
don't know. Their defense is definitely gonna be tested more
with San France, you know, more balanced attack or healthier.
If the forty nine Ers are this championship team that
everyone is hyping us, you know to be here. Today
is the day that they'll need to start that turnaround.
(42:22):
I'm pretty much a touchdown favorite. I guess let's call
on the road but we'll see how it goes. You know,
McCaffrey back on the field. Let me just check the
latest lines here, the MVM line six and a half,
fifteen and a half. A lot of points there too.
You had no sevens on the board anywhere in town
here in Las Vegas actually some sixes and some far
off places too. I'm saying, boy, I tell you, guys,
(42:45):
I just can't lay that would However, I'm being serious
on this one. I have no skin in the game.
I'm rooting for you guys.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
Well, good, thank you. I appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
I just I I I don't know how Tampa. I
just don't know how they did play in this play
well in this game after last weekend.
Speaker 4 (43:09):
After not going for two, just the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
So last year I'm looking. I want to make sure
that's right last year after their bye. But I was
what to Jacksonville went thirty four to three. That feels
like that type of game today. Yeah, it may have
taken an alternate spread at a large number for the
nine reeling game.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Where do we get to twelve?
Speaker 3 (43:30):
And how high I took as I took it as
high as it can go, as it.
Speaker 4 (43:34):
Was allowed forty six and a half.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
All right, No, I was it was twenty.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
One, twenty one. What do you get back on twenty one.
I'm looking for like ten to one.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
I think it was six to one. Okay, is that
not good enough?
Speaker 4 (43:50):
I'm looking for ten to one. I was really looking
for ten to one.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
Ten to one. Let me seem like I find a
ten to one. We don't know what umber one? Byeah,
I just I could be wrong, never been wrong before,
so it's alla be weird. But I could bet MGM.
By the way, minus sixteen and a half plus three
hundred for the Niners is the highest number I can
(44:13):
I can.
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Grab there, So wow, they don't call higher, no.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Higher than that, because because just works on the prowl
for the highest nie were possible. I did this once
this season. I took the Bills to beat the Titans
by twenty three and a half. They won by twenty four,
So I'm going back to the well here. Wow wow, yeah,
I just think again the situation is just stigue about this.
It wasn't that they lost. Krak mentioned how they lost.
(44:40):
Important discussion right, how they lost, But it was a
lot of physical football, like they were exhausted with the Chiefs.
They were both tired, and now you have a short
week fresh Niners team the conference, and I was going
to play with today knowing McCaffrey is back, is going
to be just it's gonna be We're going to play fast.
I think it's a just a bad spot for Tampa.
(45:01):
I'm just I'm gonna stick with it. I don't I
don't care if it's square. That's the way I feel
about it.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
No, I'm the same way. I'm curious though, the workload
for Christian McCaffrey. He's finally back, their stud running back,
and you look at the props, he's at fourteen and
a half carries, right, you could go over under obviously
sixty four and a half yards. What I find interesting
is you look at Jordan Mason, who has been the
(45:26):
main guy when Christian McCaffrey has been hurt throughout the
first half of the season, and Jordan Mason's at nineteen
and a half rushing yards. Like so you have to
ask yourself, is Christian McCaffrey gonna be on a bit
of a pitch count. It's just gonna be the CMC show,
and Jordan Mason's gonna get like, what two three carries?
I still think Jordan Mason is gonna be involved here
(45:47):
the last game they're coming off to buy. But the
last game he played was against the Cowboys and he
got banged up. Right, Remember he had the shoulder injury.
So outside of that, he's had time to hear you up,
I would expect him to still be a part of
the attack here, right, Like, would you look more to
see him c or would you look to Jordan Mason
(46:08):
get into twenty yards rushing here? What do you think?
Speaker 3 (46:11):
My guess? And the way that I think Shanahan has
done in the past is if you're healthy, you're getting
the carries. I don't he is ring Christian McCaffrey, even
when he's been beat up. You're like, why is he
still getting carries? Why you're up twenty one in the
fourth quarter? Why are you still playing McCaffrey. I think
(46:32):
he's gonna if you look, man, the way it works
for the most part, for the most part, not no,
you know this is a different situation that you're start
running back. Is if you have a jersey on, you
were considered healthy and you were considered ready to play football.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
But if this is if this is a beatdown. Do
you see him off of Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
It's possible, yes, But that's that's situation where I think,
you know, live waygdering in under rushing attempts could be
a possible ability if they get to a certain point
where they're really far ahead and you feel comfortable just
sort of you know, saying hey, look like, okay, you've
done your job for today. That that feels more of
(47:14):
a play than a pre pre flop under rushing attempts.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
Right, it's what is it, bilateral Achilles tendonitis? Yeah, on both.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
Yeah, it's it's not great for I would say like
his long term health. I worry about when I hear
Achilles tendonitis what that leads to eventually. But you know,
he's he's taken a lot of time. He went to Germany, right,
did the whole like you know Germany thing, and he
got the stem cells and the PRP the things that
you know you can get in Germany you can't get
(47:46):
in this country. And yeah, I think he'll play a lot,
that's my guess.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
Yeah, maybe the Kate Aughton Show again for Tampa. Kate
Aughton the Tied End. It's been fantastic with both gotten
when and Mike Evans down. How about another game to
throw at you. Steelers at the Commanders six and two
Pittsburgh seven and two, Washington. Jaden Daniels has been fantastic.
There's no denying that this is what a two and
(48:14):
a half point spread crack. This is a game that
you had your eye on earlier.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
This and this game just looking now, God, there are
solid twos everywhere on the board. Here, my god, it's
amazing this. This game has had some two way action.
Opened up two quickly went to two and a half
and even three and stood at three for a while.
And I bet Washington. So this is a rare situation
where the public now can get a better line than me.
(48:40):
I did lay a little bit on two, but two
and a half was my official play. And now you
can you can get like I said, you can, you
can lay two on this game. It's a match up
of probably two of the biggest surprise teams of the
season so far, really, the Steelers coming off of by
six and two, Washington seven and two. Both these teams
are won three in a row. This de you know
the strength of game control and defense, and Washington this
(49:04):
explosive offense. This kid Daniels just throws himself in head
first like Pete Rose. I mean, he really is a
he's exciting to watch. So And also Washington leads the
NFL and scoring percentage per drive. It's like sixty percent.
It's ridiculous. So just to put those numbers into like
relatable terms, the highest percentage in the last two decades
(49:24):
was fifty one percent and that was for the seventeen
to low Randy Moss Tom Brady Patriots. By the way,
I was reading that stat earlier, It's like wow, I
had to read it a couple times. So they haven't
faced the defense like Pittsburgh though, I understand this season.
So this is going to be a huge test for them,
a huge test for Daniels. You know the coach, Tom Win,
he's always amazing. He's a pretty good history against rookie quarterbacks.
(49:47):
They've had the bye week to prepare. It should be
a good one with some great defense maybe going and
against a great offense. So I look forward to this
game and I want to see who's right here. Because
you have syndicates sports betting syndicates on opposit sides of
this game that doesn't happen too much store in the week.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
So we can I can I read you, guys the
quarterbacks students have played so far this season.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
There, I'd love to hear this.
Speaker 3 (50:09):
Yes, okay, So they played Kirk Cousins in the first
game off a achilles injury. It's a thirty six year
old quarterback that didn't go very well for Cousins, right,
bo Nicks In a second, NFL starts Justin Herbert who
got hurt. Remember got hurt in that Champions game they
lost to Joe Flacco, lost of Dak Prescott. I actually
(50:30):
I've made this. I've made this comment. I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna make this. Like seven times this week
and seven different programs I've done so far. I didn't
even look up who they who the Raiders quarterback was
the game they beat them. I haven't even bothered to look.
It doesn't matter who they played. It's someone played quarterback
for the Raiders. I've looked at this schedule now seven times.
I think, even cut to the box score, it's not
(50:51):
even worth it. Someone played quarterback for the Raiders. I
don't know who it was. It's unimportant, Okay, I don't
know I look this seven times this week and have
yet to even click on the box score. They put
Aaron Rodgers, and you're welcome to look at the box score.
I don't know if Brian Krack you want to do it.
They played Aaron Rodgers, and remember if Wilson caught you know,
(51:13):
catches that pass, the game is probably much different. And
they played Daniel Jones the next half of this season.
Steves right now are plus three hundred to miss the playoffs. Okay, ready,
Jaden Daniels, Lamar Winston, Burrow, Winston Hurts, Lamar Mahomes Burrow.
(51:37):
It's a tough schedule on the back half. So while
they played well, I agree defensively, this is the best
offense they've played all season and best corbrck they played
all season.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
By the way, that was the Aidan O'Connell led Raiders.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
I'm sure Krack gave out his under for the game.
So unfortunately we can't fade Minchew this week. He's not
the Raiders are not playing. So okay, I I feel
like I'm with you Crack on Washington. It was the
best bet of mine this week. I so again, the
Steers are playing the best offense they've played all season
(52:11):
also too, it's worth pointing out, so we've gotten two
games from Russell Wilson now, and the Steelers are doing
essentially three things in offense. Right, They're running football Najie Harris, Yeah,
they're moving the pocket or play action pass or the
same can be this one and the same with Russell
Wilson's very very easy reads right, like you read a
half field, you read a safety linebacker, throw the ball,
(52:33):
and they're throwing go balls. Dan Quinn the Washington court
and Devind Twinter, he knows this. He's watched them too.
I don't. I'll have a good plan for him for
Wilson now, Commaros defense is not great. Lot ofmre is
not playing today, that who they just traded for. But
I like Washington guys, I do.
Speaker 2 (52:49):
Yeah, I look, I'm looking forward to this. Uh So,
Washington is number three with their scoring offense, Pittsburgh number
two in terms of scoring defense, So that's gonna be
a lot of fun. I also think, too, Crack you
mentioned this where Mike Tomlin historically is fantastic against rookie quarterbacks.
I think you got to throw that out because Jayden
(53:09):
Daniels is not your typical rookie quarterback, right, it really is. Yeah,
you start comparing him to what are some of those
other rookie quarterbacks, right, he goes in the rookie quarterback ben,
but think about who he's next to over the last
handful of years and who struggled initially. How many rookie
quarterbacks play as well as Jaden Daniels. You can count
(53:29):
that on one hand, you know. So, yeah, I would
pitch that stat because this is just different. He's played
that well. If you want to bring it up against
you know, if you faced Anthony Richardson as a rookie
or so, like to think about the difference between those guys. Yes,
it's huge. Yeah, No, Brian Robinson Junior for Washington looks
(53:51):
like Austin Eckler is going to be the guy, really
good option out of the backfield. So yeah, I wonder
how many completions for Jaden Daniels. He's going to be
used in the running game as well, But you could
see a lot of quick throws, right, try to negate
that pass rush, So you might have a decent amount
of completions today.
Speaker 4 (54:09):
There's a lot of money on Pittsburgh today. I want
to just tell you something. There's a ton of money
on Pittsburgh today. The books are rooting for Washington today.
This line is a solid two across the board almost.
I mean, they're really uh, they've taken a lot of
Pittsburgh money plus three. This line was three two separate
times they got hit. The books are going to be
(54:30):
rooting for Washington at home today. Very interesting situation.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
By the way, very quietly, Washington with the number five
pass defense in the NFL. It's a little bit surprising,
isn't it. Where they're seven to two, they're playing with
the lead right, teams are trying to throw it on.
Speaker 3 (54:45):
Him because the defensive coach, though, I'm not surprised. Dan
Quinn is a really good coach.
Speaker 4 (54:51):
Guy.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
He is.
Speaker 3 (54:52):
He's done. You know, he took the falcons of the
Super Bowl. Look what's happening to Cowboys defense as he's
been gone out. It's not really I don't think dan
Quinn is The Cowboys defense just isn't good football players.
But yeah, I uh, I think he's a good job.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
Put it like that, Yeah, no doubt. All right. We
got Bill Krackenberger uh from uh crackwins dot com for
a second, so we work with Rich Ornberger. You know
the Saturday show. I almost said Bill Krackenberger, Penn State
All American. I figured Crackenberger crackwins dot Com. Sports handicapper

(56:39):
Tyrone Tracy, nice run for a touchdown. Panthers still lead
ten to seven, but we are about halfway through the
third quarter, so we'll keep you updated on the hard
hitting action over there in Germany. How about this one?
Bill's at the Colts. Colts are a home underdog plus
four and a half. The first thing that I wanted
(57:01):
to throw out there is you go back to last week,
nice win for the Bills at home against the Dolphins,
and Tyler Bass he kicked a sixty one yard field
goal to win it. And you remember this, especially you, Jeff,
being the Chiefs guy you are. But Tyler Bass missed
a huge playoff kick against Kansas City in the playoffs
(57:22):
last season, so it's a big moment for him. Sixty
one yarder game winner, you know, the postgame locker room celebration,
and he's tearing up this huge emotional moment. It was
a great job by him. But here's the thing, the
fine print. He missed an extra point and he banked
in another extra point, you know what I mean, And
(57:42):
so you just think about that might not show up
today against the Colts for the Bills, but as we
get closer to the playoffs, and certainly in the playoffs,
they haven't shored up their kicking game and that could
bite him again. So great moment last week. I would
not fall victim to thinking, hey, he's back, he's good
to go now. So that's something to keep in mind
as we get into the bigger games and the opponents
(58:04):
get better.
Speaker 3 (58:05):
For Buffalo, I very much like the Colts in this game.
It will be in the Crack Challenge.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
For reasons the Buffalo Well that's why. But actually I
put him in my in my context already this week cracks.
So I'm glad. I'm glad when that when that happens,
you know, it's just sort of a classic like by
low Spot, coupled with a team playing really well and
getting maybe overvalued in a certain situation. Right, So, I
(58:35):
Joe Flacco was bad last week. This is simply put right,
he was bad. But what he's really bad at is
when teams pressure him. It's not the Bills. The Bills
don't break the blitz very much and they don't get
a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks. So you see,
you should see a more comfortable Joe Flacco in this game.
All right. On the flip side, I don't believe very
(58:56):
much a look ahead spots in the National Football League.
It's a very much collegeable thing, right, Like we see
all the time team as a look ahead spot. They're playing,
you know, a crummy opponent they played down because the
next week they're looking ahead to someone to something else
next weekend. Kansas City's in Buffalo, Like this is a
game that they stuck on their calendar, Like we gotta
beat the Chiefs, right, that's the game. We gotta be
(59:17):
the Chiefs. We gotta be the Chiefs. That's next weekend.
Like the Bills, I'm my opinion, are already sort of
looking like you can see them naturally looking ahead to
playing the Chiefs. No key on Coleman today, Amari Cooper's
do we have a it's not eleven thirty, Oh, it's
actually so like two minutes we should have been active
list for UH for his early games. So we'll see
(59:39):
if a Marik Cooper is gonna play. So you might
have no Mark Cooper, no no key on Coleman like it?
It just sorry we have an announcement once again, Mark
Cooper's out for today, so we have no Mark Cooper,
no key on Coleman on the road. It's sort of
a dead spot. Again's a bad Colts team like this
has even Colts upset root all over it. Remember that
(01:00:02):
when Pittsburgh went to Indianapolis about a month ago, and
I think Colts are going to cover and win the game.
I feel like the same things possible, except Josh Allen
could just do Josh Allen stuff like Josh Allen over
rushing or rush attempts. Feels like a good prop if
you're looking to play this game, because I think it's
gonna have to be a Josh Allen does crazy things
game for them to be in it. So I'm looking
right now, you're rushing Josh Allen's twenty four and a
(01:00:25):
half is not a lot of the yards RUSSI attempts
five and a half. Actually, might I might do that.
I think I'm going to do that over rushing yards
are rush attempts.
Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
Lots of lots of things going on here, so in
this game that I would have to agree with the
Colts side. First of off, First off, there's a lot
of a lot of different handicappers. I know at least
two that are on the Colts in this situation, and
you can still get plus four and a half at
many sportsbooks, including bet MGM another road favorite this week.
(01:00:54):
The Bills currently, like I said, minus four and a half. First,
the Colts, Josh Allen playing in a very high level
is enforcing things like he was last year. The Bills
been able to control games on the ground, not turn
the ball over as Allen has only had two interceptions
so far this season, so that's good for him. Like
like Jeff said, the Colts, Flacco, you know against the
(01:01:14):
against this type of team, You're Jeff's right here that
you know this team has had its issues with their
defensive line, so they're near the bottom of the league
in sacks pressure. Flacco should have time in the pocket
to make plays today. It won't matter if the Colts
can't really establish the run. I don't think they won't.
I should say they of course need Jonathan Taylor to
(01:01:34):
control the pace of the game. I understand that, but
the past couple years it seems like the Bills just
are good enough just to like knock off. But by
the way, that's going to be. That was I said,
a Chiefs, that's going to be a game next week.
They have a look ahead lines. Guys out there, guys
and girls, whoever's listening, that game's a pick them.
Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
I look forward to that game. I think it's in Buffalo. Yeah,
in Buffalo, Yes, Wow, what a game that's going to
be like last week and the next week.
Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
Then the Chiefs the dog again as always smart, but
they're gonna keep doing it. We'll see the Chiefs. Look today,
I think I think the Chiefs win today by a
point and we do the same thing. How are the
Chiefs note to Oh, how is it possible we have
the same thing with always kid in Kansas City. They're
not gonna today's game is gonna be so gross and ugly. Actually,
bet on Denver, which is a I don't do that
very often.
Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
What Yeah, I broke my rule, you did, and this
is breaking news right here. I took the Denver.
Speaker 3 (01:02:27):
Yeah, I think this is I same sort of thing.
I's to talking about Tampa Bay Chiefs on a short
week after a physical game. Your your thirty four year
old tight end, who remember you started the season hoping
to not give him a lot of catchers. Remember, she
writes that we're talking about like are the icing at
Travis Kelsey because of political reasons like the Mahomes family
(01:02:47):
might think differently, and Taylor Swift and Kelsey thinking another
Like it was just all this craziness right happening with
like the election, and I took a blood bath by
the way, Tuesday night. Oh boy, I luck twenty twenty
went well for me. In twenty twenty two went well
for me, and I got I hit vice president candidates
like I Tuesday was not good and then uh and
(01:03:10):
so and then he hit fourteen catches on sixteen targets
on Monday night? Did Kelsey? How's he gonna be six
days later? I get the Denver's good on defense. Also,
we're worth pointing out something to think about because I
think the Unders also in play here is there was
a Coas football game on this field last night. Kansas
played at home. Well they're not at home. They played
(01:03:31):
in Arrowhead because their homes game is being renovated. They
played an Arrowhead GA mented what seven eastern last night,
eight eastern. They're playing a one eastern today, So I
think this is can be a bad field. I think
just an ugly game, just ugly.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
Yeah, it looks like the Panthers might have just scored.
Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
Oh wow, so.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
Yeah there's a Yeah the scorings picked up two straight
touchdowns here.
Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
Yeah right, yeah, it's uh so we'll see, we'll see
what the call is.
Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
But oh they called it illegal formation. What they call
your illegal formation. I don't want to hockey was talking
for a while. I don't even have it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
Remote to hear what they're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
Yeah, it's just funny when we're doing the show and
it's on mute and it's just hockey talking.
Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
They're claiming that I think someone did not report as
eligible because they have actually got a.
Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
Dan Skipper situation here, that sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
Why I'm in in the I don't I don't understand
that were some of the eligibility rules, because like they
didn't go out for a pass. I can't even find
my remote to even turn it on to see what
they said. Jeez, I don't know something happened.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
All right, so wipe the touchdown off the board. But hey,
we've got good news. Here's a touchdown for you. Right
now comes the board. Isaac Lowenkrown, who's got the latest?
I low what's going on here? As we get a score?
Speaker 6 (01:04:53):
This update has been nullified by an illegal thing. That's
what just happened, Carolina for the moment as a ten
to seven leader for the New York Giants, five to
eleven left to play in the third quarter. Moments ago,
the Panthers had a touchdown nullified. A seven yard touchdown
pass from Bryce Young to David Moore wiped out because
of an illegal formation penalty on Carolina. So right now
(01:05:16):
they have a second down and eleven of the giants
seventeen yard line. Panthers jumped out to a ten to
nothing lead in this game. Here's how the Giants got
to the board after that, courtesy of Bob Papa on wfan.
Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
Hand off for Trace, you try to find a room,
runs out of a tackle.
Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
He's till the twenty fifty ten five for the goal line.
Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
Touchdown Giants Tyrone Tracy.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
On a thirty two yard first of a Giant Arona.
Speaker 6 (01:05:40):
Board Carolina just converted on a third down pass from
Young to David Moore. Beg your forard in a second
at eleven on a pass from Young to More a
thirteen yard game down to the Giant four yard line,
it'll be first down and goal for Carolina. There, Young
completing a pass just shy of the goal line. So
(01:06:01):
a second of goal coming up. So Bryce Young in
this game twelve to eighteen for one hundred and ten
yards at a touchdown pass Carolina running back Cuba Hubbard
celebrating his recent new contract with seventeen carries for one
hundred and thirty seven yards. That's an average of eight
yards per carry from a Giant standpoint. Daniel Jones nine
(01:06:21):
out of seventeen for seventy one yards and in interception,
so again ten to seven, Carolina four to twelve. Loves
to play in the third quarter, Carolina's got a third
and goal coming up at the Giant one yard line.
And to be honest, it hasn't been the most attractive
game in the world. In fact, yeah, Hall of Famer
Kurt Warner on the call for NFL Network in their telecast,
(01:06:42):
I could have sworn I just saw him blink at
the camera in morse code, get me out of here.
Speaker 7 (01:06:48):
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
I was hoping you had audio and we could recreate
the sound the crowd, I know.
Speaker 7 (01:06:53):
Unfortunately the crowdoys came back.
Speaker 6 (01:06:55):
NFLBDIA reports Bills receiver Amari Cooper will not play today
against the Colts of a wrist injury. NFL media also
reporting Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence will not play today against
the Minnesota Vikings due to a significant ac joint spring
in his throwing shoulder. In fact, they're inactives have just
come out. Lawrence is indeed inactive for that game, as
(01:07:18):
is Amari Cooper. Meanwhile, Carolina has just gotten into the
m zone on a one yard touchdown run by Chewba
Hubbard conversion pending. They're up sixteen to seven over the Giants,
three thirty three left in the third.
Speaker 7 (01:07:29):
Guys, save Kurt Warner.
Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
Thank you Ilo. It is Fox Sports Radio Scountdown to Kickoff,
presented by BETMGM all season long. Bet MGM's offering you
a second chance on your first touchdown bet in the NFL.
When a customer places an NFL wager on a first
touchdown score bet and he doesn't score first, but score second,
bet MGM will return one hundred percent of their stakeback
in cash. Let's do this, Let's go rushing.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Let's second chance school.
Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
It's might be our last opportunity.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Okay, crack, we'll start with you. Anybody you like to
get into the end zone.
Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
To sell the public out there. The reason why I
go with this type of a prop because bet MGM
has this great promotion where you get your money back
if your guy scores the second touchdown and not the
first one. So I'm going to look towards that offensive
powerhouse and this guy coming back. Let's go to Christian
McCaffrey scoring first plus three fifty, San Fran plus three fifty,
(01:08:28):
and you get your money back, don't forget if he
scores a second touchdown.
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
There we go like it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
Jeff, you I figured out.
Speaker 3 (01:08:35):
I think you can play more than one.
Speaker 2 (01:08:37):
Really, you have to.
Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
Go to the promo and like click on it and
just list them all out. So I have two, by
the way, that I think are worth playing today. But
Saquon Barkley for the Eagles, I like his over rushing today.
It's one of my favorite props of the day. This
last with Bijon Bejon overgets the Cowboys. They've Eagles have
basically made their offense around Barkley last three games. The
(01:09:00):
Cowboys run defense is terrible. Type of the middle of
their offensive, of their defensive line is bad. Parsons might
might be back, but I don't think that's going to
matter as much for the run defense. So that and
then I think Bijon Robinson again, it's a it's the Saints.
I think that's a you know, they don't score the
first time, the second time works for me, So I
(01:09:21):
bet both those.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with the receiver here. I don't
do this often, but I'm gonna go with Justin Jefferson
at the Vikings to get the first touchdown against Jacksonville.
Jacksonville's secondary is a brutal I don't look at Jacksonville
scoring the first touchdowns. I start with that, like which
team is more likely to score first? I would have
to say Minnesota, and so I'll go with Jefferson to
(01:09:43):
get in there. Normally, I lean running backs just feels
like it's it happens more often than not. But I
think in this spot, I could absolutely see Justin Jefferson
being the first guy to get in there, so I'll
go with him. That's five to one, by the way,
real fast. I don't want to spend a ton of
time on the Germany game. But uh, like Ilo said,
Panthers go up by ten, they're up seventeen to seven.
(01:10:06):
It's easy to clown Daniel Jones because he's been bad
in this game. But you know who's been worse the
Giants defense. And it just seems like we're on Daniel Jones'
troll default setting, you know what I mean, where it's
like the Giants defense, you're facing Bryce Young and you're
letting Chuba Hubbard just run crazy on you. He's around
one hundred and thirty yards. That can't happen, And yet
(01:10:28):
it is happening right now. They've given up seventeen points
to the low league Carolina Panthers. We're not even in
the fourth quarter yet. That's freaking terrible.
Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
So some big changes in this organization have to come.
The fans are calling for it. I mean it just
people are going crazy. Yeah, I think two and seven.
I think Jesus, yeah, yeah, some big changers have to come, right.
Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
Yeah, that's they're gonna be worse than Carolina if this
score holds up. Those are both two win seven football teams. Crazy.
All right, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com. I'm Brian no our

All right, come it up? Next, prop it up, we
get to the prop bet market. I know, crack you
got a lot circled here, so we'll go through it.
Coming up. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented
by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff
presented by BETMGM. Once a day, Monday through Friday, played
the free to play BETMGM Ultimate Teams to receive an
(01:11:51):
Ultimate Team's card with the pro football team and spread.
If that team covers the spread that NFL week you
can win prizes. Play every day Monday through Friday. Have
all five of your teams cover, and you're eligible to
win bet MGM's weekly jackpot. All right, let's do this, drop.
Speaker 4 (01:12:10):
It up player plays.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Ah, yes, right, prop betting market over here, it's like
what do you put on to feel comfortable?
Speaker 4 (01:12:21):
Crack?
Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
You know, you put on some slippers or maybe a
robe or so that it feels like that right now?
You know, when you get into the prop bet segment here,
we'll start with you, Crack.
Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
What do you like about props all day long? Oh? Yeah,
but that's the more an efficient market I fail, you know,
and we could beat that more than an A side.
Let's go with the Patriots. Stevenson over his rushing yards.
I just betted again. You know he's a workforce. So
it's fifty three and a half at bet MGM. Antonio
Gibson isn't getting many carries anymore too, So I think
(01:12:51):
Stevenson over rushing yards today. I'll be back at the
end of the show with a couple more props. Okay,
like it all right?
Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
As I as I mentioned earlier, I like I like
the Saquon Barkle, and we get the actual number here
right is at the moment Sakwon Barkley over rushing against
the Cowboys team I got earlier in the week. Some
sort of curiousity that's moved it all. Yeah, ninety two
and a half. Over ninety two and a half is
a play that I've made. The other one I like that.
I'm gonna tell you the number if the current numbers
(01:13:21):
are important. Audience Thays are doing the show live Will
Levis under one eighty four and a half passing yards
on the road in San Diego, Los Angeles. Same thing.
They're not gonna it's it's gonna go.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
It's gonna be bad, by the way, real fast. Greg
Van Roten is your doppel ganger. Yeah, if you said
this at the beginning of the show, I swear I'm
watching Jeff Schwartz out there in Germany right now. I
looked exactly like you, hopefully crazy. I'm gonna go with
gimme Kyler Murray. I'm gonna take him over twenty nine
(01:13:52):
and a half rushing yards. They're playing the Jets today,
and I look at the Jets number two pass defense,
number two in sacks this season, so they should get
some pressure on Kyler Murray. He's gonna run. And this
isn't a reactionary bet. But you saw this last game
with CJ. Stroud, who's not much of a runner. He
(01:14:15):
ran like crazy on the Jets. So you see this
with the Chiefs sometimes, Jeff right, where you get locked
up in man defense and the quarterback just season alley
and takes off running. I expect Kyler Murray to do
that a fair amount today, so I like him over
twenty nine and a half rushing yards.
Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
We haven't talked much about this game yet. This is
one of those where you know the Jets are favorite,
and it's one of those where I kind of feel like,
am I missing something here? I don't really understand what
the Jets are favorite?
Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
Yeah, I felt the same way. I'm like, man, there's
all this Jets steam and they finally picked up a
win against Houston, but it's like, Okay, I don't quite
understand that one either.
Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
There's a sports betting send to get that bet. The
Jets money line at the beginning of the week has
seen that.
Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
Okay, crap, I have a question about this. I feel
like sometimes and we talked about this with props where
you just, you know, sharp sort of hit the same
prop over in each week, which makes sense, but hits
and it keeps hitting. Why not keep playing it? I
feel like there's certain teams that Sharps love to get
him in trouble every year because they keep betting on them.
And what is the Jets?
Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:15:19):
The Jets are team feels like every week it's like
this is a sharp play. It's a sharp play. It's
like if you watch them actually play football, what about
them is a sharp play?
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Like people have getting their head hands will following.
Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
Yeah. I don't think Browns are one of them too,
which I've had this misfortunate of as well. They're like
it's a team with good rosters don't play good football,
you know, And the Jets have a good roster. They
don't play good football in Arizona. I don't even know
what Arizona does well. Kylin Murray plays well and Martin
Harrison is good, but they keep winning these games. Man,
the Jets are on the road. I don't want the
(01:15:52):
Jets in this game.
Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
By the way, have I got you on the interception
train just yet? Jeff picks or no interception?
Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
I haven't even gone there my day.
Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Yes, I've got one for you. You might hate this one,
but hear me out here. I'm gonna take Sam Donald
no interception today. It's at one minus one fifteen. It's
it's minus fifteen either way. Yes, interception, no interception, but
Minnesota taking on Jacksonville. Their defense only has two interceptions
(01:16:22):
all season long, so yeah, anything could happen. We're talking
about a fluke, you know, deflection at the line of scrimmage.
I'm gonna say Sam Darnald no interceptions today. What do
you think about that? I know you'll be rooting for me,
you're not gonna follow along here, but.
Speaker 4 (01:16:37):
I actually like the nose on stuff like that. At
once fifteen, I mean, yeah, it's pick them one fifteen. Though,
how about if he gets injured or something. There's so
many little virons, not not that you're rooting for an injury,
but there's so many different things that can happen here.
And why can't the NFL professional quarterback not have an
interception in the game?
Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
That's right? Yeah, So that's what I'm rolling with. Very
nice and I'm still on Are you with me on this?
Jordan Mason, Jeff pushed back a little bit. He didn't
say no, but he pushed back a little bit. On
Niners running back Jordan Mason over nineteen and a half
rushing yards. I just I don't see them leaning on
Christian McCaffrey all game Long's first game back from injury.
(01:17:17):
Mason's gonna be involved.
Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
Maybe he'll still be involved, you know, McCaffrey. They maybe
you know, I want to work him out there a
little generally. But yeah, I mean, I'm definitely rooting Forgot
on that one.
Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
I appreciate that, correct.
Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Yeah, I love what corract is that it's just so like.
Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
Nothing bad. I just it's, yeah, I understand that prop
so in.
Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
My face, it's kind of looking on the face of white. Yeah,
I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna
do my ten team or next weekend. You're sending to
you the four crack so you can see it.
Speaker 4 (01:17:46):
You may get suspended again. You make it on the
suspension lists.
Speaker 3 (01:17:50):
Yeah, I didn't do I didn't do one yesterday. I forgot,
which is probably better because I don't know. I probably
would have lost. I probably had Miami in there and
would would it would have lost Miami.
Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
I know the books want you to do it, that's
for sure. Yeah, do you please, guys, there's some there's
a couple ones popping up on my screen now in Washington.
How much money is on Pittsburgh? Wow, Like the Key
sports book that everyone follows just went to one. So wow, Jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
But the Book of Crack is two and a half.
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Yeah yeah, so bet mgm, bet mgm, Well it's two
and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
You're right our book that doesn't happen to you very often.
I'm gonna say that that's a rarity.
Speaker 1 (01:18:28):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:18:28):
If I give out something that's going to move my
way and the bulk all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
So do you think this is? This is this is
sharp money coming into there?
Speaker 4 (01:18:34):
This is ya know it? Actually? Actually I actually know
one of the guys that's on the other side. I
respect them, but I still like my Washington side. Listen,
this Pittsburgh team, I just I'm not listen. I don't
throw the word for gaze around too much. I think
they're kind of for ezy. Uh their record and stuff.
I watched the play versus Dallas on a primetime game
(01:18:54):
a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
It was like the.
Speaker 4 (01:18:56):
Pittsburgh shouldn't even have been any They almost won the
game at the end. It just yeah, so people, you
know that the linemaker sometimes looks at that show and
they they base lines off that. But if you have
to watch in depth, I don't think this Pittsburgh team
is back good. But anyway, we'll see what happens down
the line.
Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
They just play just a grimy style of football. So
even the games that they win, you don't walk away
going Steelers man looked out. Yeah right, all right, comeing
up next? Major injury news for a team. How might
they respond today? That is on the way Week ten?
Rolling forward? Ah, yes, welcome in here, Week ten, marching
(01:19:39):
on as the Giants are marching toward the end zone
over here, nine minutes to go in the game. About
inside the five yard line is the Giants look to
punch it in over here to close the gap down
by ten right now, there's a injury concern with the league, neighbors,
(01:20:00):
he's back in there, but yeah, yeah, he had the
concussion earlier in the season and jumped up for a catch,
came down and just hit his head on the on
the turf and went out momentarily. But looks to be okay.
Speaker 3 (01:20:13):
Touchdown Giants. There you go, Dale Jones. He can run
though he can absolutely can run. He can be feisty
with the legs.
Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
He is a truck running the ball man. But uh yeah,
they're gonna be down by three. I think I don't
know if we can if the Graham ganot point after
try is going to be automatic over here, But it
looks to be a three point deficit, eight thirty three
to go. So we got a little bit of action
going on. How about this. We got the Eagles at
(01:20:43):
the Cowboys here today. No Dak Prescott, he's expected to
undergo season ending hamstring surgery, and we got Cooper Rush
in there, who is five and one as a starter.
But here's the thing, man, Back in twenty twenty two,
this Cowboys team was worlds better than they are right now.
Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
Right, so this is so important because the Cowboys when
Rush played last time, had the best offense line of football,
an incredible run game, a good defense. They're not any
of those things anymore, I know it. So No, this
is why trends. I think a buddy of mine says,
trends are like they're not your friends, that are your acquaintance.
(01:21:26):
Like it's good to know them, but you can't wager
on them because of that. I hate so I I
I took the Eagles minus seven when this came out.
The news came out, the Cooper Rush is not going
to play. It's a small little wager. It's not on
my it's not my car on my card this week.
It was priced in obviously because the number didn't move
(01:21:48):
at all. It moved like a half a point as
soon as they announced the rush the Rush was going
to play. I just think the Cowboys are just sort
of dead inside. There's nothing left to play for. Eagles
are playing much better football. The problem is I just
don't trust their coach. I mean, Gee's every week it's like, Sirianni,
(01:22:08):
what are you doing? Buddy? Week was wow? And I
I just this is more of just an anti Cowboys thing,
like they're not good stopping the run. Eagles of the
last three weeks barkleys over a hundred yards all three weeks,
becoming a big part of their offense. Now, Hurt's playing
a little bit better. You know, Vic Fangio, their defense
corner in Philly. It's now week ten, right, like this
(01:22:29):
is when you start sort of getting a little bit better,
like you just sort of feel things out. You know
what your team is. Eagles are better at linebacker this season,
so I means are playing good football. They're fast turf
in Dallas, and I think Dallas is just dead. I
think that there's sort of a dead inside right now.
Speaker 4 (01:22:46):
Yeah, you know, Cooper Rush, I'm just I just want
to say how old he was. So he's thirty years old.
He's been around. Okay, So this is two teams going
in two different directions here. The Eagles have now one
four straight Brown and Devonte Smith back. Cowboys have lost
three straight and any kind of any championship hopes. Of course,
it looks like they're shutting down the two hundred and
(01:23:08):
forty million dollar Manda.
Speaker 3 (01:23:10):
They should. They have to crack think about this, like, look,
if you have, if you have, if you're the Cowboys,
you committed back pastic he's your quarterback, right, do you
rush him back to play this season and had lost season?
Just make sure he's fully healthy for twenty twenty five.
You make sure it's fully healthy for for twenty twenty five,
especially if that surgery, which it seems like the bone,
I mean the muscle ripped off the bone, which I've
(01:23:33):
had that happen for in the growing the abdominable region.
My abdominal wall ripped off my pelvis. That's what I
was told.
Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
That sounds fun. It sounds you know.
Speaker 3 (01:23:40):
What, It sounds bad. But I was back at practicing
twenty days, so it couldn't even that bad after surgery.
It should have been that bad if I was practicing,
if I was back to practice that fast.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
Yeah, I'm sure. That's that's the math on that injury.
You know, if you're back today.
Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
I mean Adrian Peterson had that the that next season
and that same year and rush for two thousand yards.
You can play through it, depending on your position you play.
It sounds that sounds bad, though, right, it sounds worse
than I think it is. It ripped a bone, ripped
off the muscle, I mean, I mean a muscle ripped
off the bone.
Speaker 2 (01:24:12):
But you're right, like, if this is a Cowboys team
eight games in, that's even flip it. Five and three,
six and two. Yeah, he tries to rush back. They're
three and five with no defense at all and a
bank a bad offensive line, Like, there's no reason to
rush back this season. It is what it is. You
know you're right about that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:31):
Do you think Jones himself gets involved and I know,
of course he gets involved in everything. Do you think
he says, all right, guys, we're going to wreck stack
for the rest of the season like that. Do you
think he opens his mouth there and then makes a
call like that? Or you think it's more of the
GM and the's coach and everyone then together. What do
you guys think?
Speaker 2 (01:24:50):
I think it's mostly Dak. I think it's the way, yeah,
but it can be a little bit collaborative. It's just
there's no reason to rush it back. And listen, if
you're Dak Prescott and you've got your big deal with
all the guaranteed money, right, why are you rushing back
this season when you've got an injury like that? It's
totally justifiable right to take the precautious route. How about
(01:25:14):
this the Jets at the Cardinals. The Jets are a
one and a half point favorite right now at bet MGM.
And you mentioned this, Jeff, where each week, well I
shouldn't say each week, but most weeks there's a line
where there's just steam and you're like, you feel like
(01:25:34):
it's like brave heart or what was it you mentioned
Game of Thrones earlier, where you're John Snow just facing
it and you feel like the one guy raising his
arm like I but why why the steam?
Speaker 3 (01:25:46):
Though?
Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
I don't understand. Do you feel like this in this
spot here with the Cardinals at home?
Speaker 3 (01:25:52):
I don't quite get it. I I think the Cardinals
are better. I mean, I guess the Jet is Like
I guess in theory they should be good, but they
sort of just are not, you know what I mean?
Like so, I don't, I don't know what what's the
(01:26:13):
case for the Jets on the road here in Arizona.
I don't. I don't know. Man, It's hard to make
a case for them. They play better than they have
most of the season in certain instances. I guess that's
that's what you would argue, But I don't. I don't.
I don't like e.
Speaker 4 (01:26:28):
Crack some sharp money, I said, like I said earlier
in the week on the Jets money line. Both teams
coming into this game on a good note. The three
and six Jets. They broke their five game losing streak
last week with a win over Uston at The five
and four Cardinals also currently a three game winning streak.
So Aaron Rodgers last week he got a little uh,
I guess we can call a little taste of the
(01:26:50):
fountain of youth last week, three touchdown passes. Garrett Wilson, though,
made some amazing catches last week, including like two wild
and one hand touchdowns. He now leads the NFL ninety
four targets and the sixty catches. So but you guys
are right though, this this is a funny game to me,
it really is. You just don't know. I can't trust
(01:27:12):
I just can't trust these Jets, even though he had
three touchdown passes. I just can't trust Rogers and the
Jets in this particular situation. You got, you know, Arizona
probably had you know, a better balanced offense play with
or not even I don't know Murray Connor. Connor had
like over one hundred yards last week versus the Bears,
and you know, I think they can control the game.
(01:27:35):
I am not doing nothing really here on the side.
I teased them on the total. I think it's a
good teaser spot. Actually for Arizona. You could tease them
up till like seven and a half, a six point
teaser going through the key numbers of three and seven,
But nothing crazy here. It'd be more of an interesting
game to see what does happen here with two teams
that you know that that both need the game desperately.
Speaker 2 (01:27:58):
Yeah, Juma Hubbard, he got yanked down from behind.
Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
The two they are who we thought they were.
Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Gotta love the NFL.
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
Heber just got paid, right, So glad he got.
Speaker 3 (01:28:10):
I'm glad he got. He got paid before getting the
look on a bad injury.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
It looked good, but he walked off, and so you
can walk. I know, I know I had a torn
a c L. I know, I know you can walk.
But it was a good the way he got he
got bent behind, he got bent backwards. That looked like
it could have been. Uh, got hit from behind doing
what I had football, all my weight on my right
(01:28:36):
right leg and someone hit me from behind and snap
the injury. And it was after high school. Yeah, some football.
Speaker 3 (01:28:45):
I've done a lot of things I haven't had luckily
many of the injuries.
Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
Yeah, it feels weird. I had two knee surgeries. One
was cartilage thing, but the other one it just feels
like your knee is in a knot. But you can
totally walk on it, no problem, and uh.
Speaker 3 (01:29:00):
All control stability side to side, so you can walk
in a forward line without.
Speaker 2 (01:29:03):
ACL Yeah, right, so you can get up and you're
walking around. You're like, I think I'm good, and you're
like they're like, no, actually you're not at all.
Speaker 3 (01:29:12):
It sounds kind of silly, but like I feel very
fortunate to have my surgeries in my life, like around football,
so I could do the rehab that is required. Like
I don't know, I feel like doing the rehab for
an acal surgery not in a football setting would be miserable.
Just like sit at home and go like three times
(01:29:33):
a week to physical therapy for an hour a day. Yeah,
it's just like doing like football rehab while you're there
every day and get it worked on all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
That dude that you've been through a Jeff. But the
physical therapy, it's funny. I thought it sounded fun. This
is how big of an idiot I am. I'm like,
physical therapy that sounds like no, not at all. So really,
what you have to do. You got to break up
the scar tissue. So what they did, Yeah, they'll take
you in a room and they'll close the door and
they'll stretch your leg way more than it wants to
(01:30:05):
be stretched so you could work all that scar tissue out.
It is not fun at all.
Speaker 3 (01:30:09):
Interception Daniel Jones not even here you go. He's aren't
even his fault. That really was that was that's two
now one tip both.
Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
That was.
Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
It was just a little swing pass to the running
back Tyrone Tracy and he didn't catch it in the
backer Josie Jewel takes it.
Speaker 3 (01:30:30):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:30:31):
That's that's disgusting right there. That's it's still a football game.
Ages how much?
Speaker 4 (01:30:37):
Times?
Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
About six minutes? Okay, yeah, still a ballgame. Wow, that
is that's your Giants twenty twenty four season in a
nutshell right now.
Speaker 7 (01:30:48):
That play.
Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
Wow, that's ugly, just ugly.
Speaker 4 (01:30:52):
All right.
Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
We've got Bill Krackenberger from crack wins dot com. We've
got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian Nell
coming up next to week ten. Train moves forward, man,
this team you talk about a runaway freight train. That's
exactly what they've been. Will it continue today? It is

way this game in Germany is pretty is if you're
on the under. Some bad football going on. Man, you
had a wide open one Dal Robinson for a first down.
(01:31:58):
Daniel Jones skipped it to him today he's been so
bat Wandale Robinson lined up offside. He had off side
on the offense, which hurt that drive as well. But
the Panthers, they just refuse to put this game away,
basing a third and eight up by three with just
under three minutes to go. Hey, how about Lions Texans?
(01:32:21):
Lions favored by three and a half on the road,
and man, this Lions team seven and one on the season.
They cover indoors, they cover outdoors, like last week against
the Green Bay Packers. They they're just a machine right now.
Do you dare get in front of it and take
the points? Crack with this three and a half point
(01:32:42):
spread here.
Speaker 4 (01:32:43):
Well, we actually get a good one tonight here in
prime time. Yet another road dog in this one of
the Lions. Three and a half. It's kind of three
three and a half now for Houston. Some sharp guys
on the dog here on Houston. So this looks like
there's so many it's surprising this late in the season,
there'll be so many syndicate plays on sports better syndicate
(01:33:07):
plays on NFL sides. But this was also one of them.
So Lions looked like the best team in the NFL
so far this year, probably, I mean, I'm going to
say especially on offense. So the leading the league points
per game thirty two over thirty two points per game
have held together on the defensive side, even after losing
their star pass rusher Hutchinson, which I thought was going
(01:33:28):
to be detrimental for this day. I thought this team
was literally based around him, you know, defensively, I said
this this is going to be real bad for this team.
It did not. They have stepped up golfam playing an
MVP level. They've really been dominating games from start to finish.
So but that's why they're instilled as a favorite here
(01:33:49):
on the road. Primetime game used in this is uston
super Bowl really right now tonight. I mean people are
going to be pumped up primetime. The offense has just
struggled a little bit. They're top wide receiver Stefan Diggs
dumb for the year. This should be exciting one with
some points in the game, fifty points, so it should
(01:34:09):
be an exciting game one I'm looking forward to watch
see what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:34:16):
So last week I stepped in from the Lions trained
then took the Packers at home division game wive on
the road outside for the first time and had that
worked for me. So I'm not doing it this week.
Not something from the Lion's train. If they win the
game and cover, if they lose and cover, they win
and cover, I don't care. I'm just I'm not stepping
in front of it this week. Not doing it. Nico
(01:34:38):
Collins is back, which will help for the Texans and
the offensive line. They made some adjustments, which is helpful.
The offensive line is bad. The protection schemes are not
very good. There have some issues on that end. But yeah,
I yeah, I'm just not doing it. I'm not gonna
step in front of the train, Brian, I'm not doing
this week.
Speaker 4 (01:34:56):
You can have some action on tonight's game, aren't you.
You'll have something whatever. Okay, what's a Sunday night without
a little action.
Speaker 2 (01:35:06):
Yeah, that's the way.
Speaker 4 (01:35:08):
Everyone usually looks at it, though. I like Jeff staying
away from the side in the total and going with
some props and uh yeah, that that's the way to be.
You know, you don't have to force a play on
every single TV game public. I know it's it's hard
to do, especially if you're losing on a Sunday and
Sunday night that's the get out game. The old New
York way was the Monday night get out. You know,
(01:35:30):
the old New York bms. You know, they used to
settle on Monday. After Monday, they settle on and that
was the last day of the week. So the week
literally went Tuesday to Monday because you had the Monday
night burial where you can bury yourself by doubling up
and then and then what happens on Tuesday? Then you're
on the lamb. I know exactly then they they are hiding.
(01:35:51):
But uh, I like to make the bookmakers hide under
the beds Monday morning, so.
Speaker 3 (01:35:55):
By the waves. So Lookred, I uh even a little
older now you know, thirty years old.
Speaker 2 (01:36:02):
Yeah, you know you're an old man.
Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
Third, Uh staying awake to watch you end of bad
football games. I I just can't do stay awake to
watch the end of good football games. Also can barely do,
so I don't. I don't chase the Sunday because I'm sleeping.
Speaker 4 (01:36:17):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (01:36:18):
I can't.
Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
I got to move to the West coast. Jeff good Lord,
Like Brian, I think, I think what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
I think we are me and you are filling in
on a program in the morning. Soon, I believe in
a couple of weeks. And like if if that's a
it's a I don't think it's a game Wednesday night.
If there was, I would stay awake because I had
to cover in the six am in the morning. Yeah,
I'm not too being on till about noon now so
I can wake up and watch the rest of the
game and still get an extra two hours of sleep.
(01:36:44):
So it's it's those things where I don't I don't
have to to fall asleep, I don't have to stay
awake if I don't, if I don't need to crack.
Speaker 4 (01:36:50):
It's tough. Listen, Monday mornings, I get a five fifteen
I do a five thirty am hit on the East coast.
It's tough, but I still like to watch those night
games for and I'm on the West Coast. I think Brian,
because I get these tech are these emails this late
at night? Brian's a nocturnal guy. Like last night, Brian,
what time you go to bed? Because I got an
(01:37:10):
email from me like yeah, free in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:37:13):
Yeah, oh no, I was, man, I don't know. I
only got a couple hours of sleep last night. You know,
I'm watching all these college games. I'm getting ready for
the show. Like, yeah, I sleep when ball is not
on that you know what I mean? Like that's what
I get my sleep. And hey, by the way, a
couple of interesting notes stats on this Texans game. So CJ.
Stroud only one passing touchdown in the last three games.
(01:37:35):
You mentioned it, jeff Nico Collins is back. That's a
big deal for the passing offense. This stat is pretty
crazy too. So only the Browns have given up more
sacks than the Texans this season. The Texans have given
up thirty one sacks, which is I think a bit
surprising because CJ. Stroud is such a good player. But
that offensive line is that's rough man. Let me throw
(01:37:58):
another game at you it Dolph at the Rams on
Monday night. This is tomorrow's game. The Rams one and
a half point favorites at home. We're keeping an eye
on Tyreek Hill if he's gonna go. He's got a
wrist injury. He's missing from practice. Yeah, right, that's a
question mark right there. And the Dolphins they're tied for
thirtieth in sacks this season. Their defense missing Bradley Chubb,
(01:38:24):
missing Jalen Phillips for most of the year. They just
don't have a great pass rush. And when you're facing
a Rams team with Cooper cup phukin Nakua that has
not a great recipe. They do have a good pass defense,
they just don't have a good pass rush. And that's problematic.
Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
It is it is problematic. Is Dolphins fan Brian is
there is there gonna be a lot of fight left
in them for this game. I don't know. I feel
like last weekend just was kind of a soul crushing lost.
They needed that game to sort of stay in the
at least the ANFC East tong which is now gone. Yeah,
they're still a twin two came back and there's still
(01:38:59):
two wins. They had lost two games two. It came
back in.
Speaker 2 (01:39:02):
I think in prime time. They'll fight in prime time.
But they're a little like the Cowboys, right, a team
with high expectations, we could really do something this year,
and you look up and you're a two win team
that takes a lot out of you.
Speaker 3 (01:39:14):
And and the Rams get healthy the offensive line this game,
their offensive line, they get two guys back this week.
Like the Rams are in prime position. I have a
future on them doing the AFC the NFC West from
early this season from I guess preseason plus plus three
hundred dish, like I felt that's still alive. I thought
that was dead.
Speaker 4 (01:39:30):
That was dead.
Speaker 3 (01:39:31):
Yeah, the Rams, the Rams. I there there's another game
where I don't get the line. And again, I mean
they may build towers for people like me that don't
understand the line, But I like the Rams this game.
They're better.
Speaker 4 (01:39:48):
Yeah, this is two teams going in two different directions.
The Rams have bounced back three straight wins. The Dolphins
have lost three. So they've gotten their back. Their they're
guys back, so cup nkoah. But their defense has really
picked it up too. Also, you know, it really is
I hate to say the whole I don't want to
(01:40:09):
say the whole Miami team, but this Tyreek kill if
this is I'm saying questionable. If Tyreek Kills is not playing,
this is gonna be a I think this might be
a tough game for them.
Speaker 3 (01:40:18):
So the Giants are alive.
Speaker 2 (01:40:22):
Oh deep ball the maleak nape.
Speaker 3 (01:40:25):
Oh he dropped it. Oh never mind, it was very
very badly dropped it.
Speaker 4 (01:40:29):
You guys are phil well. They acted like he caught
the ball, caught the shortstop.
Speaker 3 (01:40:34):
Act like he caught the ball. He really did not
catch the football. They ruled him the first angle was
from the back. From his back, you could see he
caught the ball.
Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
He looked like a beautiful catch. And see the replayer,
You're like, that wasn't even.
Speaker 3 (01:40:47):
He also was concussed about five minutes ago, So I
don't know how he's back in the game already. And
I mean, it was even close. That ball hit a
yard in front of him, looked like but they ruled
him the catch house he didn't catch it. Didn't catch
the ball. Wow, I feel like that was a rule
to catch originally.
Speaker 4 (01:41:00):
I'm gonna turn it on in the background.
Speaker 2 (01:41:02):
Yeah, that was not close. That's where replay assistance has
helped out so much. We don't have to spend five
minutes for them to go over to the replay monitor
on the sideline, you know what I mean, Like, just
have someone in the officials ear to be like, yo,
that was not a catch at all.
Speaker 3 (01:41:20):
Like I don't waste anyone's time with like chi, it's
under two minutes, there's no challenges, but like, don't wante
any times with challenges. Just be like that's like we're.
Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
Done right and old school. It used to be a
booth review right, it would but he would run over
to the sideline. He'd have to watch the whole day.
It's like, just move on, just move it along over here. Okay,
So what do you have? Everybody all in on the Giants?
Daniel Jones value time at the end, Giants pull it
right everything.
Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
What's funny about this game is I told you guys,
I took the over forty and a half because someone
else had the under. And there's a real scenario where
the Giants tie this game, someone scores a touchdown overtime
and I lose by the hook. Yeah, absolutely bothered me
a lot with a misfield goal already today.
Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
So yeah, that is possible. And that's where the you know,
you talk about this in college, the closing line value
doesn't seem to matter as much it matters in the NFL. Man,
this was four and a half earlier in the week,
and there's at least a path toward, you know, minus
four and a half being the right side. So we'll
(01:42:25):
see how it goes. Giants on the move over here
minutes ago. All right, we're on the move right now
with Isaac Loewenkron, who has the latest over here. And
I wonder if it involves award winning audio. We'll find out.
Speaker 6 (01:42:38):
Right it involves an award winning attempt to drive by
the New York Giants.
Speaker 7 (01:42:44):
We're down a half of it had left in the
fourth quarter.
Speaker 6 (01:42:47):
They have a second and one at the Carolina thirty
two yard line, down three. Daniel Jones just completed a
first down pass to Malak neighbors for a first and
ten at the twenty seven yard line of Carolina, so
their infield goal range. Out of time, Jones is going
to spike the ball twenty seven yard line of Carolina
seventeen seconds left in the fourth quarter, with Carolina leading
(01:43:07):
the Giants seventeen to fourteen in a matchup between a
pair of two and seven teams. Now earlier in the
fourth quarter, with six point two left, the Giants had
a third and seven at the Carolina eight yard line,
but could not score because of a jewel of a
play by Carolina.
Speaker 3 (01:43:22):
Jones takes the snap. Here's the pressure, here's the.
Speaker 6 (01:43:25):
Throw gave off, laff ed Joseph Jewel, the pads taken away.
What a play he just reached in its stolen the
call on WRFX. Instead of attempting what will be a
forty five or forty six yard field goal, the Giants
lined up to run a second down and ten play
(01:43:46):
in Carolina just called a time out. Daniel Jones for
the game twenty one of thirty five for one eighty
seven with two interceptions. Carolina running back Chewba Hubbard twenty
five carries for one hundred and forty eight yards at
a touchdown. Bryce Young of care Carolina fifteen to twenty
five for one twenty six with a touchdown seventeen seconds
left in the fourth Carolina seventeen, New York fourteen. The
(01:44:08):
Giants have a second and ten coming up at the
Carolina twenty seven yard line. Buffalo Bill's receiver Amari Cooper
inactive today against the Indianapolis Colts because of a wrist injury.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence inactive today against the Vikings due
to a shoulder injury. Nick Bosett, Deebo Samuel, and Christian
McCaffrey are all active.
Speaker 7 (01:44:27):
For the San Francisco forty nine ers today at Tampa
Bay in Germany.
Speaker 6 (01:44:31):
Jones just completed a short pass down to the twenty
four yard line with twelve seconds left in the fourth quarter,
so to be third down coming up for the New
York Giants. We're looking at a forty one or forty
two yard field goal to tie it by Graham ganot
two and seventeens playing overtime alright than we figure out.
Speaker 2 (01:44:53):
Thank you, Hilo it is. Fox Sports Radio is Countdown

you'll see the show posted right after we get off
(01:45:13):
the year. That was a little sketchy. It was a
sideline throw.
Speaker 3 (01:45:17):
He should have been he should have been ruled.
Speaker 2 (01:45:20):
He should have wound the clock. It was about about
twelve it's thirteen seconds now, but they would have had
to scramble to spike the ball.
Speaker 3 (01:45:28):
For those who maybe are unaware, the the rule for
whether the clock stops going out of bounds is you
you actually have to be going technically like up the
field right toward the first down marker, at least parallel.
Speaker 2 (01:45:48):
You can't be going backwards.
Speaker 3 (01:45:49):
You kept be going backwards right, and it Lily was
going backwards. He was now no to be fair. To
be fair, if you sort of catch the ball on
the sidelines and you're well man, tim is taking you
like back to that's out of bounds. Like the clock
stops if you catch the ball, though, I take a
step or two back to line of scrimmage. Then that's
(01:46:10):
you're out. That should you know, you should want the clock.
So yeah, it's a field goal attempt to tie the
game at seventeen. So I'm gonna need a field goal
and then a game winning touchdown here to get the
over still, which is still possible, I guess, I mean,
and it's possible.
Speaker 4 (01:46:25):
Munich man oh man, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:46:28):
Right there, that's bad start.
Speaker 2 (01:46:30):
There are a lot of people sweating this. They want
Graham Gano to miss another one, another one like dj
khalet over here.
Speaker 3 (01:46:37):
Well yeah, you the Giants plus the points, Yeah, you
would love them miss this, right, yeah, but if you
got the six and a half, though, you're basically guaranteed
to hit it if they get to the.
Speaker 2 (01:46:46):
Only way, the only way is if, and it's I
don't think it's ever happened to touchdown.
Speaker 3 (01:46:51):
A defensive score, I mean a field goal. Defensive score.
Speaker 2 (01:46:53):
Yeah, you'd have to have the Giants win the toss,
kick a field goal and then get some sort of
defensive score to win.
Speaker 3 (01:46:59):
The other way around. The Panthers.
Speaker 2 (01:47:01):
Well, yeah, okay, gotcha six and a half? Yeah yeah, yeah,
well yeah they're plus, right, they're plus. That's the only
way you would get screwed, right the panther.
Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
Yeah, you're right, I'm sorry. The other way you're out,
you're right, yes, yes, you're right. Yeah, So here comes,
here comes the attempt they tried to. I don't know
if it matters, and it's not going to matter because
he made the kick. So seventeen seventeen, that's have going overtime.
Speaker 2 (01:47:30):
Man, a little bit of drama in this disgusting game. Man,
it has been a bad on.
Speaker 4 (01:47:35):
What kind of TV service you got there?
Speaker 3 (01:47:36):
I mean way ahead and I'm watching on satellite.
Speaker 4 (01:47:41):
Jesus man got piped the watch Caroline, He's piped into
the stadium.
Speaker 3 (01:47:48):
There is a there is a local feed like local
NBC has the game I'm watching on.
Speaker 4 (01:47:52):
We're a full sixty seconds ahead of us.
Speaker 3 (01:47:55):
You are you watching internet TV?
Speaker 4 (01:47:57):
You do not know? Just the NFL network on my coxw.
Speaker 3 (01:48:00):
Oh, I'm ahead of you, guess I bet? Then?
Speaker 2 (01:48:04):
Yeah, right, tell us what happens and we'll make some
money off of them.
Speaker 4 (01:48:07):
I was like, this is not even possible. I had
them calling a time out and he's saying it's seventeen seventeen.
Speaker 2 (01:48:12):
I'm like, wow, it is.
Speaker 4 (01:48:13):
Why it's so tough to bet. When you're betting live,
you're on like a sixty seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
Really are there. It's amazing where sometimes I've gone to
a game in person and the betting apps are right
there in real time.
Speaker 4 (01:48:28):
I'm like, yes, you see the score change there.
Speaker 2 (01:48:30):
Yeah, there is no lag, like they are not getting
screwed because of flag time.
Speaker 4 (01:48:36):
You know it is re court siding going on. That's
when the people in the stadium are betting their apps
because some of the sites are a little bit slower.
Speaker 2 (01:48:43):
Yeah, let me throw a couple of games at your
rapid fire. How about this Vikings at Jacksonville. Vikings favored
by seven. No Trevor Lawrence for Jacksonville, It's gonna be
Mac Jones. We get Mac Jones back in here against Minnesota,
who you know, past defense wise they give up two
hundred and fifty yards on average per game. That ranks
(01:49:06):
twenty eighth in the NFL. So I have to look
at Mac Jones passing prop. I mean, this is almost
like an automatic fade. Jeff. It sounds crazy, but the
Vikings past defense, they give up some yards here. I'm
not looking to play Mac Jones. I'm just curious. It's
at what two oh five. If you see a two
starting with Mac Jones, Jeff, I know your skin starts
(01:49:29):
to curl over there.
Speaker 3 (01:49:31):
Uh yeah, I mean he hasn't played in months. He's
playing for a team that routinely underperforms. He does have weapons,
though he has better repented in New England. I'll tell you.
Speaker 2 (01:49:43):
That that's true.
Speaker 3 (01:49:45):
But yeah, I I uh, I'm gonna try not to
watch this game.
Speaker 2 (01:49:52):
You sure it's one of the seven early games. You're
not gonna have that front and center.
Speaker 3 (01:49:55):
It's like we should do we should do a segment
here toward the end of every show where it's like
we talk of the four or four box. What are
four games we have are going to have on the box?
Speaker 2 (01:50:05):
Yeah, like the first So it's gonna be Pittsburgh Washington
for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:50:08):
So here's my here's my four box. Now, of course
I'm rooty for I'm a Chief, the Chiefs, Broncos, Niners,
Bucks because of the money I have in that game, Steelers,
Commanders and Bill.
Speaker 2 (01:50:18):
Yeah, that makes sense. You leave the Pats Bears off,
I pretty much have the same thing, and Jacksonville I
might have the Saints on just I'll have it on
another wind of it on.
Speaker 3 (01:50:30):
The Carolina to win this game.
Speaker 2 (01:50:32):
No, no, we need the Giants over here, Jeff.
Speaker 3 (01:50:34):
But this is so I.
Speaker 2 (01:50:35):
Know, I know you got the Panthers against me.
Speaker 3 (01:50:39):
But here's but here, you guys, here's where I've noticed
in college football too is and this the first year
I went heavy into future wagers for what wins. Basically
is like I have Carolina under their wind total and
fewest wins in the NFL, and also Giants under the
wind total, so I'm gonna get but I have more
leeway for the Giants have five and five half. I
(01:51:00):
think I took Carolina recently college football, it's weird like
this last weekend. I'm just rooty for teams to win
or lose based off of my my my preseason win
lost totals. So yeah, I guess either team winning would
hurt me. But the Giants have a tougher division though,
so the Giants winning would be better because they would
(01:51:20):
probably still can lose a bunch of games on the
way out.
Speaker 2 (01:51:23):
Well, we have our season win total bet Saints versus Panthers,
both teams heading into this week to win seven. So
we've got that. By the way, what do you guys
think about this Falcons favored by three and a half
on the road against those Saints.
Speaker 3 (01:51:41):
Yeah, the old bartender is on the Falcons. So I
have the Saints plus three and a half, which is
unfortunate that I have to do something like that, but
it will be. It will be in my in my
back pocket.
Speaker 2 (01:51:51):
There, interim head coach for the Saints.
Speaker 3 (01:51:55):
I don't believe that bump thing either. So her car
is a losing quarterback in his career. Did you see
the stat that through eleven seasons in the NFL, the
two quarterbacks with the most losses as a starting quarterback
or Archie Manning and Derek Carr.
Speaker 2 (01:52:14):
Wow, wow, wow, both playing in the same building, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:52:18):
Yeah. Yeah. There was also a stat where like, if
this this and this happens in the NFL, teams are
two one hundred and seventy five and zero. They've won
all two undred of those games. After last weekend, it's
two seventy five and one because the Saints lost the game.
Speaker 2 (01:52:38):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:52:39):
So the Saints are probably due for a little bit
of positive regression. I would imagine here, Brian, but I
don't know, man, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:52:49):
Yeah, it's what do you think Crack divisional game.
Speaker 4 (01:52:53):
Yeah, no, I'm uh. I was looking at there was
a major line move there on against the Kansas City
chief I'm saying, so that lines down to solid seven.
Everything get you cannot get no more seven and a half,
no more eight, no more eight and a half, which
that was you know what it was even a nine
for a second.
Speaker 3 (01:53:12):
There was nine this week.
Speaker 4 (01:53:13):
Yeah, it was nine. So that down to a solid
seven including bet MGM, sorry guys to uh uh we.
Speaker 3 (01:53:19):
Were about thunder yeahs about twelve minutes about the seven
and a half. Make that for the correct challenge.
Speaker 4 (01:53:27):
But the Minnesota Vikings game from four and a half
to seven. You know, there's a number you put on
each quarterback, and that I guess that probably is the
number two and a half three points, even even though
it's Lawrence, it's it probably is two and a half.
So but but Jones has been around, you know, it's
not like you're going to a rookie or something.
Speaker 2 (01:53:48):
I'll tell you what, man, that's what makes the Crack
challenge so disgusting. Oh yeah, these lines move, that's.
Speaker 4 (01:53:55):
Right, That's why it's the challenge.
Speaker 2 (01:53:57):
You might have been on a team all way. It
moves at the last minute, and you're like, what do
we take it away? Yeah? I typically do too, but
that's cost to me wins before right, Absolutely a hook.
I've gotten hooked before in this thing. So we've got
Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot Com, the architect of the
(01:54:17):
Crack Challenge. We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.
You can't tell him or Greg Van Roten apart in
the same room. It's hard learned here today.
Speaker 3 (01:54:25):
Fumble Giants fumble first play overtime.
Speaker 2 (01:54:27):
Wow, you serious, Jesus, that is a little handoff. Gotta
be what Tyrone Tracy coughed it up? Is our guy
Josie Jewell on it again. He's had a nose for
the football guys. Josie Jewel. I'm Brian, though no one
cares uh. Coming up next to Crack Challenge, rapid Fire
Play of the Day and recapping the Panthers win in Germany.
Speaker 3 (01:54:52):
As it looks right here.
Speaker 2 (01:54:53):

Top of the Hour, Steve Hartman, Rich Ornberger, Little Red
Zone Radio, keep it locked right. Here comes your way
in less than ten minutes. By the way, first play
the overtime Giants fumbled Tyrone Tracy Junior, Panthers got the ball,
three straight runs set up a field goal, won the game.
So the Panthers win it twenty to seventeen. All right,
(01:55:58):
we got some picks to make. Let's do this.
Speaker 1 (01:56:00):
Five five games against the spread.
Speaker 3 (01:56:04):
We call it the Crack Challenge.
Speaker 2 (01:56:07):
All right, Jeff, We start with you, what are you liking?
Speaker 3 (01:56:11):
All right? Here we go. Give me the Broncos plus seven. Okay,
breaking my long standing the rule of basically betting the team.
My team is playing with the points. But I do
think it's gonna be a very close game, and I'm
fully prepared for the Chiefs to win this one barely.
So I just it's a good spot for Denver or
bat spot for Kansas City. All right, let's look down
(01:56:33):
the line here at the current odds. Give me the
Colts plus four and a half. Got an extra half
point here from when I got earlier the week. I
like the Colts in the spot we talked about earlier.
Bills down a bunch of guys, the little pressure of
the quarterback as well as they as other teams do,
Flacco should be a little more comfortable against the Bill's defense.
Niners minds five and a half and thin. It's the
number one play in the Vsent Average Joe contest. Do
(01:56:55):
not care they win this game by a lot, So
that is what it is. Give me Arizona plus the
point a half. Very confused by this line, maybe I
look done afterwards, thinking to myself, why are they favored
by what they are favored, but we'll see in the
last one here, I'm pulling up here it is Oh
oh boy, this was one. It's two and a half now,
(01:57:18):
oh yeah, yeah, that just moved crack like in the
last thirty minutes. The Rams game, yep, oh boy, crack
chie the harp, the track challenge, isn't it? Oh I
got wonder this week?
Speaker 9 (01:57:31):
Oh let's uh, let's stick with it. Rams minus two
and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:57:44):
I don't like it. I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:57:45):
Yeah, okay, I'll go.
Speaker 3 (01:57:47):
Under a field goal. It's under afield goal.
Speaker 2 (01:57:48):
Still, I'm with you with the with the Niners minus
six and a half, this is a disgusting one. Laying it.
I'm gonna lay it with the Bears. They're better team
at home. Six and a half is a lot of
I'm gonna lay it Arizona, I'm with you plus a
point and a half. Don't understand it. Give me Minnesota
minus seven. These are square blades. But listen, the sharp
(01:58:08):
plays has been screwing screwing me over here, and I'll
take I'll take Washington minus two. I'm on that as well.
All right, let's go to this real fast. Let's do it.
Speaker 3 (01:58:21):
Rapid fire.
Speaker 2 (01:58:22):
All right, crag give us a pick here, buddy.
Speaker 4 (01:58:24):
Yah, we're gonna be real quickly. Sorry, guys. Let's go
with under Allen Buffalo passing yards to twenty eight and
a half.
Speaker 2 (01:58:30):
Okay, all right, and no fancy production here, but let's
get your play of the day here. Crack, what do
you have?
Speaker 4 (01:58:35):
Okay, cool, let's go with a teaser. I'm gonna go
with a teaser, the Chargers taking them down to one
with Miami plus eight and a half.
Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
Okay, perfect, go look at that hurry up offense. You know,
we wasted a little time at the beginning, but we
scored at the end. It's all good.
