(01:22):
got Cuffs the legend coming on pretty soon here in
just about twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
We got the whole squad up in here.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
We got Chris Burfett, we got Bo Benson, we got
Monsey Blogos in the house. Man, We're like at full
strength right now. Let's talk about this NFC. We talked
about t Higgins and those guys coming back for you know,
the game against the Chargers, and then obviously having Nicocollins

(01:56):
come back for the Texans against the Cowboys. Looking at
this NFC East Division, guys, we've watched the Eagles win
in less than a week. Big wins, I guess we'll
say big wins. Definitely a big win getting that win
against Washington, but also beat Dallas as well. How are

(02:20):
you looking at the Eagles right now?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Are they firmly in control of the NFC East.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
I thought that there was the possibility that Washington could
could win the division this year, and what would be
a new head coach and Dan Quinn's inaugural year and
the start to build out what this new culture looks
like for this Washington Commander's team. But it still looks

(02:45):
as though the Eagles are rocking that big brother type
of approach to how they play the Washington Commanders and
got a big win against them. And again, plex, well,
I'll say you more so than me. The New York Giants,
they're they're not a factor in this this East conversation.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
And then you look at uh, you know obviously the Commanders,
the Cowboys, and the Eagles. I don't look at the
Cowboys as being a factor. So it's a two horse race,
do they it's over.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, it's the Eagles. It's the Eagles division, the Cowboys
and the Giants. They're non factors of Giants will remain
a non factor until they find a quarterback that can
consistently get it done. Daniel Jones was making progress early.
I was like, oh, turn the corner, and then he
hit a U turn. I didn't understand in that game, man,

(03:45):
the Commanders are down twelve to ten, it's fourth down,
it's just under five minutes left in the game. Why
wouldn't you kick the field goal to take the lead.
That was such a terrible decision by Dan Quinn. Kick
the field goal, and the reason you kicked the field
goal to go up thirteen to twelve. Is the Eagles

(04:08):
kicker had missed two field goals and the pat up
until that point, so you know his confidence is gonna
be shaky if they drive down and get even getting
feel a range. And so the game and the score
looks a little wider and less competitive than it actually was.
But the Eagles are good, man, the Eagles are good.

(04:29):
Jennen Hurst didn't play a great game, played good. Sakwon
Barkley shows the people, the decision makers with the New
York Giants need to look themselves in the mirror and
evaluate why they thought they couldn't that Sakwan couldn't help them, Like,

(04:49):
are you you got to be kidning? Saquon bark is
an MVP candidate this year and you let him walk
for nothing, for nothing, got it, got.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Drafted high, You didn't laying wade for nothing, and you
let them walk because you didn't pay Daniel Jones all
that money.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
No Daniel Jones makes it. No, No, Daniel Jones makes forty
million a year. See, this is the thing. We got
to stop this. To Lav LeVar, these teams can afford
to pay the players they've used.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
I'm they're telling you what they said.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
But they used that as an excuse, and you know
how they use it an excuse. Look at the Philadelphia Eagles.
Look at the Philadelphia Eagles and tell me that they
don't know what they're doing, don't. It's Jalen Hurts holy paid. Yeah,
it's sa Kwon Barkley highly paid. Yeah, it's DeVonta Smith
holly paid. Yeah, it is aj Brown highly paid. Yeah,

(05:35):
is Lane Johnson highly paid? Yeah, is Landon Dickerson highly paid. Yeah,
it's Jordan Mulatta highly paid. Yeah. I can keep going.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
All I'm telling you is what them people said.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
TJ The's people they want the fans.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
General manager said that we aren't paying Danny Dimes all
that cash to hand the ball off.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
To sa Kwan Barkley.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
But but the but the Eagles is paying all that
that Jayleen Hurston hand right right right, I get it now.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
And they're winning and they're winning. I mean, look look
at Dallas. Dallas does the same thing. They're not paying
anybody really either.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
And the crazy thing about it is we got we
got quarterbacks in this league who are making more money
than Daniel Jones, who are handing the ball off the
one running.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Backs who want Takwan Barkley.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
So I don't know what that means that right there
really kind of just ate at me a little bit, like,
what do you mean, so Daniel Jones making forty million
dollars so he's too good to hand the ball off
to a running back? Now, come on, man, the wrong approach,
wrong mindset. And I just think that everything that has

(06:46):
went on with this organization, I think they're getting exactly
what they put into it, because there's no way you
just let my man, say go down the street for
a million and a half two million dollars because you
don't think that he's worthy of playing in New York.
He didn't want to leave. He came out and said
it publicly.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
They want to act like he like he traded on
him because he goes to the Eagles, that's where he's from.
Balance act like he a trader.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
He wanted to stay. Man, Listen, y'all didn't want to
pay him. He gone, I don't give a damn if
he was a trader or not. If the man would
have paid him, he would have stayed.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I was of the game. He had more yards by
himself than the whole offense did. But yeah, man, you know,
before the season start, I said that the Eagles would
be dangerous because of one reason, and that would be
because of the addition of Saquon Because you look at
this offensive line that he was playing behind when he
was here in New York. I mean, the man was
getting hit, and the man was getting hit at the

(07:44):
line of scrimmage almost every play and was still finding
a way to average four point four yards and carry on,
still averaging eighty yards game, basically with the worst offensive
line in football. And now you understand, you put him
in this offense with Jalen Hurts, A J. Brown, de
smithling boards on the outside, Sakwon Barkley was the focal

(08:07):
point of every defense because he was playing with an
eight man in the box. Now he no longer has that,
he has a luxury of actually playing against six and
seven man fronts. The man is still one of the
best running backs in a football He no, no, no, no,
he's the best. And he's showing me everybody else that

(08:29):
when you put when you get into the right situation
as a player and being able to go out and
play your your brand of football, especially with this football team,
that they have because they can beat you basically any
way they want to.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Now, who would you take over him? With Dereck carry
because I think Saquana best back.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I think I think they're different. I think that's that's
apples an.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I think both running backs who I won't say they
fit the offenses that they all her would y'all.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
Take I'm taking I'm taking sa Quan. Yeah, I'm taking
I'm taking Saquon because he's multi dimensional exactly. But but
with that, But that being said, though, if I wouldn't
feel any type of way if I had Derek Henry
because I don't think that there's that's not a drop off.
That's not an indictment against Derek Henry because Dereck Henry that.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I'm taking correct.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
I mean I can do. I can do more with
Saquon than what I can do with Derek. But what
Dereck Henry does is super efficient and super If I'm
if I am the Baltimore Ravens, I take Derek Henry
over Saquon Barkley. If I'm the Pittsburgh Steelers, I take
Derek Henry over Saqwin Barkley.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Yes, you do, I do.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
I don't do because she said you have to take
into account of the style of offense in which the
Baltimore Ravens play. Lamar is not going to throw the
ball forty five fifty times a game.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
If you look at his his efficiency is what's killing people.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
He's going nineteen for twenties for three hundred yards and
three four touchdowns in this Baltimore raven offense. It's an
r PO style of offense. Defensive coordinator, you really now
have to play special attention to Derek Himy because you
know what, man, if you get up on my second level,
he's gonna punish us. All games do the same thing,

(10:25):
not like doesn't hand the ball off and he gets
on the edge. That's when Baltimore becomes extremely dangerous. That's
why I would say that Derek Henry fits the Baltimore
style of play better than a Saquon Barkley wood.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
I think Barkley fits in any offense. He he don't matter,
it don't matter.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
He's that good, But so does Henry. You just might
not use Derek Henry the same one.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
You're not gonna use. They're not trying to pass.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
And I'm not trying to him in the passing game, right.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Baltimore doesn't go a lot with the.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
LA Chargers, if he's with if he's with the even
if he went to Kansas City, even like you look
at these these teams that if it's a run heavy team,
if I'm thinking I'm going to run the ball first,
and I had to choose between them, I'm going with
Dereck Henry. If I'm a run first team, like I'm
literally going north south with how I'm I'm playing this game,

(11:32):
I'm going with Derrick Henry. And that's not an indictment
against Kwan. What I'm saying with is a very multifaceted
running back, just like how the kids.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Being multifaceted means you you can't play in the other systems.
You just said he's multifaceted.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
But I'm not saying that's what it means. What I'm
saying is is that if you're not leaning on giving
the ball to the receiver, I'm into the running back
at the receiver's position or motioning him out and doing
all these different things. If your offensive scheme is more
grounded and in simple type of fashion runs, I'm going

(12:09):
with a more simple fashion type.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Of running back. And that's Derrick Henry.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
That's that's like, It's not like I said, you can
get different styles of backs. Some backs are are more scat,
more quick, more more twitchy, can catch the ball like
like McCaffrey like. But to McCaffrey is not going to
bang you up. Sakuon Barkley is not going to bang
you up for four quarters.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
He's not to bang you up back.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
So would you would you agree that Jalen Hurts is
a better passing quarterback than Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Jalen Hurts is a better passing quarterback than Lamar Jackson
this year. Absolutely not. He isn't.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
This year.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
He's not this year. This this version of Lamar Jackson
we've never seen. Lamar Jackson is throwing the ball better
than Jalen Hurts this season. And it's not close. Okay.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
So when you look at the ball to more offense,
they're throwing the ball what twenty twenty five times a game, right.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
And that's and that's what the Eagles are doing. The
Eagles ran the ball forty times, uh forty times. The
Eagles ran up all forty times against the Commanders at forty.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Saying, if you have an offense, and you know, you
get into a game, you're like, know what, man passing
game is not working.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Whatever the case may.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Be, would you rather hand the ball off to Dick
Henry thirty five times forty times Sakwaba thirty five forty
five times?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I'd be fine with either one. I would be fine cool,
I'm cool with either one.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
But you're gonna bang that defense up way more with
that thirty forty with Derek hem.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
I mean Derrick Henry. Derrick Henry is a bigger dude,
so obviously he's gonna be able to handle the thirty
five forty carries better than say Kwan, That's what we're saying.
But if I have to throw the if I have
to get a ball to him thirty five forty times,
we're probably winning. I don't even know if I want

(13:58):
Derrick Henry getting that many carries, because that isn't sustainable.
But the way Lamar Jackson is throwing the ball, like
this version of Lamar Jackson, now we haven't seen this.
I'm shocked the ways playing and I shouldn't be, but.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
I think this dude, with the fact that you gotta
worry about Derrick giry Man Listen, man, if you gotta
worry about Derrick coming down that that downhall. You know,
the Ravens had had the number one rush offense for years,
so they've been number one.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
That's number It's a different Jackson, so accurately, bro.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
The last time they had a back run like Derreck
Giarry was well, they had Jamal the bus, but Jamal
Lewis was the last one.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Come on, man, I was in that division now with
jam Lewis.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Yeah, but you're telling me, you telling me if we
got to run the ball for here here, I'm about
to get you.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
I'm about to get him.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Play here we go.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
You telling me with the Cincinnati Bengals and them games
that y'all was playing in, you rather have Saquon over
Corey Dylan?

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Would I rather? I know Corey Dilan personally, so obviously
I'm gonna say no. Okay, those a personal feeling.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
Say that is the same version that we're talking about that.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Derrick Henry and see. Yeah, they both big and fast,
and you wouldn't expect them to be that fast.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
What I'm saying is this, I'm fine with either one,
but I would prefer sa Kwan. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I'm not mad at that. I'm not mad at that
for certain, I'm not mad at that. Anyway, It's a
great conversation to have and and you know what, I
think he is one hundred percent the difference maker for
this Eagles team. I think we can all agree on that.
We go and it'll be interesting to see.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
How that all plays out.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
All right, let's get to this break, because on the
other side of it, we're gonna switch from football to
a little round ball talk, some basketball, and we're gonna
bring in our guy, Cuffs the Legend from the Some
Dude Show. This is up on Game that's t J.
Hitchman's Eyes Flexco Burst. I'm LeVar Rington. Well, take a
quick break. We'll be right back. This is Fox Sports Radio.
All right, all right, welcome back in. It's up on

(16:08):
Game Live from the Tireck dot Com studios. Before we
get to Cuffs the Legend, let's go to Monci. Let's
get one more update from Moncey Bolanos. I do believe
you're gonna roll out after this and get your day started,
Is that correct?

Speaker 6 (16:24):
I mean I'm gonna roll out for about four hours
and then I have to come back and do my
show with Steve Hartman.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Yay, make you y'all dial up and tune in and
make sure y'all check out Muncie on doing that show.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
We up.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Thank you, yes, thank you.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
So I'm hoping to get a workout in and then
come back.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
That's my perfect, perfect all right.

Speaker 6 (16:41):
So what we got, Well, we got halftime at Wrigley
Field between number two Ohio State and Northwestern Ohio State.
Started a little slow, but they scored twenty one points
in the second quarter alone quin Shawn Judkins with two
rushing touchdowns and Will Howard with a twenty five yard
touchdown pass to Carnal Tate, so they're up twenty one
to seven at halftime. Texas has slowed down. They're still

(17:02):
beating Arkansas ten zero with less than two minutes to
go in the first half. Shador Sanders hasn't been great today,
but Colorado is doing what they can. They're beating Utah
fourteen to three six minutes to go in the first half.
Sanders threw a pick to start, they just got a
field goal, so there we go fourteen to six. But
Sanders is six of twelve, seventy five yards and one touchdown,

(17:23):
The defense had a punt return for a touchdown, and
Travis Hunter, after a deflected pass, caught his third interception
of this season. So number seventeen Colorado, like you said,
Utah with the field goal fourteen six is a score there.
Number twenty Clemson did score again, but they're beating Pittsburgh
fourteen to seven, four minutes to go in the first half.
And number twenty five Tulane also scored again. They're beating
Navy fourteen zero thirty seconds to go in the first half.

(17:46):
But it's a good day for Kurt Signetti, a pay
day for him because he and Indiana have agreed on
an eight year, seventy two million dollar extension after their
ten and oh start.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
In the NFL.

Speaker 6 (17:56):
The Browns have elevated wide receiver Kadarius Tony from their
practice squad for Tomorrow's game against the Saints. The Raiders
have activated tight end Michael Mayer from the reserve and
if I lists prior to Sunday's game, and the Patriots
are activating star defensive lineman Christian Barmore from the non
football illness list.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
He should play this weekend. Guys, it's been fun back.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
To you all right, thanks mon. Yeah, all right, now
that's well. One star has finished up.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Update.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Let's get another star on to talk about basketball.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Let's do it. Now.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
It's time to check in with Cuff's the Legend from
some dude show podcast on up on Game Presents. Cuffs
is giving you a spicy takes on what's going down.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Hope you can take the heat like Lebron.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
And now here's Cuff's the Legend.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
It's gold Town.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Well damn, I mean, I don't think anybody else has
an intro like that coming into a show other than
the man himself, the myth, the legend, tough so legend.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
What's happening?

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Breath?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Hey?

Speaker 7 (19:04):
Look, man, you know I appreciate the theme music.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Man.

Speaker 7 (19:07):
I told y'all that when I hear my theme music,
I often feel like Mike Tyson coming to the ring.
I said that on previous episodes.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
But the old Mike Tyson, though, the old one, not
not last night, the old one, right he Look.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
I feel sad this morning, man, because watching Mike Tightson
last night. I know we're gonna talk about some NBA
watching it. I really feel like I watched my dad
get beat up last night. That's what it felt like.
I felt like I watched my pop because I called
my pop before the fight. I said, Pops, you're watching

(19:44):
this game to night. You're watching the Titan fight tonight.
He was like, uh yeah, he's like, I said, whos
gonna win? He said, father time? So follow time fight
last night? It was it was tough. It was a
tough watch, y'all. It really was.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
Man, Well did you get it all off your chest?

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Cuz I believe TJ and Plex got that fight off
their chest.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
I know it wasn't even on my chest to get
it off.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
I just felt like, Hey, that man just got one
hell of a pay day and was able to prove
to himself at fifty eight years old, I could dust
off the rust, get back up in this ring, move
around with a little young buck, and you know what,
I'm gonna roll out as Mike Tyson Iron Mike.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
You can't take away his resume. You can't take away look.

Speaker 7 (20:26):
I knew it was over when I saw the Brent
form copperfit knee breaking.

Speaker 5 (20:29):
Oh when he came out with the knee braces, the
copper fit, though, Damn, his legs look little man like.
If you take and look at Mike Tyson's legs for
this fight versus when he was Mike Tyson. That was
knocking the soul and the spirit out of people's bodies
that don't look the same.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
And then and then they.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Made sure they showed you that he didn't look the
same down low when they gave y'all that full moon
of me when he walked away after giving his son
to I love you son kissing and went back to
what he can we.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Can we talk about hey man, why they do that?
Why they do that to my bad?

Speaker 5 (21:06):
And this showed it like it was like, okay, it
was a slip when it happened in the moment, but
why did they show that in the hot like in
the parting the show was over highlights? Like did they
have to show his asking the highlights going out of
the show, Like was that was that necessary?

Speaker 7 (21:21):
He looked like out like Prince.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Real?

Speaker 7 (21:33):
Yeah, CJ. LeBaron a serious note, wild father time, father
time has been a liar. He told the truth last night,
but father Time being Lions.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Lebron talk On talked on, talked on.

Speaker 7 (21:51):
Man, I mean, plastic bird, you want to go with that?
You call game winning passing the Super Bowl? You under
what greatness looks like Plaxico and we're watching old timer.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Nobody has ever denied Lebron James's greatness.

Speaker 7 (22:08):
Four triple doubles in a row as the oldest player
beyond the.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
First month of the season.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Cuffs, don't get all your gonna get your gonna get
your your panties in a bunch where everybody get excited
jumping out of windows. I mean, you lost to the
Detroit Pistons. I mean, let's be honest. You lost to
the Pistons. You beat them, you beat you beat a
job morantless uh grizzly team uh last week. And you

(22:38):
saw with the Memphis Grigs look like when he was playing.
So that's another. So that's a no contest. You get
blue out in Cleveland against the Cleveland Cavaliers. I mean,
and I don't think that you're gonna be able to
beat the Phoenix Suns either that division this year either
beat them.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Listen, you're gonna be good? What do you mean we are?

Speaker 7 (23:02):
We can't we talk about talk about Anthony? Can we
talk about Anthony Davis right now? Though Anthony Davis, Anthony
Marshawn Davis Junior, he is the front runner for the
m v P right now.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
Until the until the until the season Thanksgiving.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
Right until the season starts, to take his health away
from him if he can, if he can stay healthy,
man like, I don't think anybody questions how he plays.

Speaker 7 (23:26):
That's a dress. That that's a dress.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
We're talking about a m VP candidate.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
Come on, cuff, let me let me address that. Anthony Davis.
Anthony Davis has been labeled as they used all these
different synonyms to describe him, and it's all a fairy
tale because you gotta look.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
At It's not a fairy tale, it's facts.

Speaker 7 (23:51):
Look at it. Last night, for example, he played with
one eye. His eye was closed shut. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
One he gave Psylavis.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
He gave winn Ben Yamba a forty ball last like one.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
I don't want to hear that in the second week
in November, the myth because he had one eyed Clay.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
If we weren't playing well, we would be here in
the second week. And I want to.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
See this in April and May when it comes playoff
time and he got a match up against the Joker.
I want to see what Anthony Davis I'm gonna get. Then.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
I don't want to be talking about the loss. He's like, oh,
we're eight and four.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Lebron James has four Trooper doubles back to back to
back to back after the Davis just looking like the
m v P with one eye. Man, it's it's the
second week in November. You're talking about the MVP candidate.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
Come on, look, you're looking right now. You got you
got OKC. They're missing check. They are stop number one
right now, eleven and two. But I will say the Warriors.
Before this season, I didn't think the Golden State Wards
were really going to be a contender, but they're showing
they can. And Steph is looking like the step of

(25:02):
old right now. I like what the Warriors are doing.
But none of those other teams you mentioned, like the
Phoenix Suns, there's too many little shoulders on that team. Man,
the shoulders the Sons don't scare a soul flax. I'm
telling you. The Houston Rockets, even though they're third right now,
they're young. But I will say real basketball fans watch
out for Tarry Easton and I'm on I'm in Thompson,

(25:25):
the Thompson Twins for the Rockets. That is, those two
guys coming off the bench for the Rockets are the
reason why I feel like the Rockets are sitting right there.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Hey, Tory Easton, that's that's the kid from LSU. Correct
Tory Easton.

Speaker 7 (25:39):
I don't think he went in l s U. I
think he went to I don't want to be I
don't want to say the wrong school.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Well, I think I think he went to l s U.
He can play, he can play, he can play.

Speaker 7 (25:49):
He's very very scrappy man, rebounding machine. He plays d
he does all the little things for Houston. I like
where Houston is sitting right now. But man, we got
we got a wide open race. But nobody's talking about
the Calves. The Calves have won fourteen in a row
to start the season. Like we that's unprecedented territory.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
I'm from Port Smith's, VA. Bro Uh yeah, but he
went to l s U. I think he might be right.

Speaker 7 (26:16):
That's near Pla.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Yeah, that's why I said that. They Yeah, it makes hotwater.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
But the calf. Look the cat, the cat. The Calves
have won fourteen straight and nobody's still not talking about
those guys.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
I mean we're talking, well, we're talking about the Cleveland
Cavaliers who here.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
They look pretty. They looked scared off fourteen.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
You know, yeah, they look scared.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
The Lakers came over the Cleveland and Cleveland basically flat
line them by like twenty three, twenty four points. So
we are talking about Donovan Mitchell and that bunch that
they have down there in Cleveland right there, because right
now they are clearly the best team in all the basketball.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
They look good.

Speaker 7 (26:57):
I just talked, they don't pik too soon because we
seen the Caves even last year, same roster. I soon,
because Boston's gonna get healthy for then it's gonna come back.
Boston's gonna have their full unit. Peyton Princh is playing
out of his mind. So I still feel like.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
If you're looking at it from a Cleveland Cavalier perspective,
after a fourteen and oh how many games are is
it going to be for anybody to overcome in the
Eastern Conference if the Boston Celtics don't get healthy quickly,
or the Philadelphia seven and sits start playing batter basketball.

(27:36):
I mean even Milwaukee, because everybody was saying Milwaukee is
going to be back this year because they're going to
be healthy.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yanni's dame and.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Uh, you know, all of that, but how many games
if you look at Cleveland Cavaliers, man get out to
twenty game leave or whatever the catch may be on
the East, I mean, that's gonna be tough to over
overcome going down to stretch for anybody.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
We're talking about teams that are good, though Cuffs has
has things run its course. With Jimmy Butler and Miami,
how how is that going? How you feel like that's
going to play out? Do they do they continue on
with him? I've seen that there are some interesting type
of like trade type of scenarios that have surfaced, like

(28:19):
what's the what's the deal with the heat and what's
what's the What do you think the life span of
the Jimmy Butler era is going to be?

Speaker 7 (28:27):
That's a good question. I've tweeted about Jimmy Butler even
before this season, like I feel like he's Pat Rowley
is fed up with the antics. Like we've seen Jimmy,
he's a difficult guy to deal with sometime. He's seen
him with the with the emo hair he came with
with the media day last year, like Pat Rawley is
not with all the extras and Taler hero is the
guy that's making Jimmy expendable right now because Taler Hero

(28:50):
is having a great year for Miami. Terry Rojiar had
stepped up. He's the starting point guard. Bam is starting
to heat up a little bit, some double doubles. But
I can see them make a move because I think
the way that the Miami Heat had built their roster
over the years, similar to how the Patriots built their
roster with all those undrafted guys, undrafted free agents, trying
to build from with then They've done a good job.

(29:12):
Heywood hot Smill come from.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
The G League.

Speaker 7 (29:14):
They built a lot of their players from with then,
and I understand that, and they got to two finals
in the last couple of years doing that. But I
think they really have to take one last swing, one
big swing, before Pat Roley hangs it up. I don't
know who that guy could be. He could be at
Zach Levine. We could see Jimmy Butler go back to
Chicago because Zach Levine has been on fire this year.

(29:35):
TJ can tell you that California kid like I mean
Seattle kids like man Levine would be a perfect fit
in Miami, and he can give you twenty five a night.
I think Jimmy has pretty much worn out. He is
welcome in Miami. I mean, the fans are always gonna
love Jimmy. He took them the two finals. But by
the thing in time, Jimmy is really not a He's
kind of like Paul George to me, where he has

(29:58):
a big name and everybody knows Jimmy Butler, but he's
not a star anymore. Like Paul George is not a
star anymore. He's podcast P Now, he's not playoff no more.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Jay not podcast Pete.

Speaker 7 (30:17):
Yeah, he podcast P. Because I'm gonna say this. The
sickest fans will tell you this. I know some sickest
fans in real life. Jared McCain, the rookie.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Renew Now that's a California kid.

Speaker 7 (30:28):
Yeah, Jared McCain had everybody's food, TJ. This is what
Jared McCain did. You saw him grow up in high
school out there in Cally and dominate.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
On hial Public School.

Speaker 7 (30:38):
And he went to Duke and just imagine people have
stated Duke this year with Cooper flag. Oh boy, so
Jared McCain. People don't understand. He made the TikTok videos.
You see the fingernails and everybody's joking him. He's making
people mad, getting on everybody's skin. He's doing that on
purpose because people think he's saft. And you saw the
quote the other night when they asked him about his

(30:59):
performing of the night and he was like, that's not
fifteen better guys than me in the league. That's a rookie.
That's a rookie saying that. So I'm impressed by the
confidence level of Jared McCain. So just imagine when Tyree's
Maxi comes back from his injury. Now you got him
be back in the fold. Now we can just you know,

(31:19):
look at Paul George podcast. Pis like a third or
fourth option on that team. If you're gonna give us
fifteen to twenty, we'll take.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
I Thank you really over extending yourself when you say that.
You can't just say that Paul George is the best
is the fourth best option on the seventy sixteen.

Speaker 7 (31:40):
Right, bro, Paul George. Paul George had like thirteen the
other night. It's just he's just he's just a big
name that we're so accustomed to seeing make the All
Star team every year because it's stats. But he hasn't
done anything.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
He had By the time the sisions over after the
Allstar Break, p is going to be in that twenty
to twenty one point a game, a nither game.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
That's what he want to be doing.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
He's just coming back off of injury.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
If I'm the Stickers, if I'm the Sixers, we already
gave Tyree Maxey the keys to the car. Now we're
going to give the other set of keys to Jared
McCain and Joe elmb and that's our big three.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Now, hey, let me ask you this, and looking at
like some of these young, young teams that are starting
to mature, you know, John Morant is now back in
the fold and all that stuff. Uh, you know, I'm curious,
cuffs just super quickly. Do you think it's possible that

(32:38):
the Lakers would make a blockbuster move and bringing in
a talent at the ball handling position like us, say
Trey Young.

Speaker 7 (32:49):
Maybe Tray Young would be at the top of my
wish list because of his pick and roll game. It
would be unbelievable to watch Trey Young with that high
pick and roll action with Lebron with ad the lob
threat of a d it would be beautiful. Austin Reeves
I gotta admit people have thrown him in a lot
of trade packages included nowhere. Austin Reeves is untouchable. Right now,

(33:14):
he's averaging almost nineteen points a game, which is a
bump from the last couple of years scoring wise. JJ
Reddick has given him full keys to the car, unlocked him.
But Dalt Connett being in that starting lineup, he's talking
about young guys, dalk connecting who got who failed in
the draft to the seventeenth picking the draft, all because
he's twenty three years old. It still doesn't make sense.

(33:35):
But Dalt Connett Man, he thought last night against the
Spurs made some big shots, and the game before made
some big shots. I like the youth movement movement right now.
With la Man, it's gonna be a good season. Kolok's
in the mix now, so let's a lot of young
guys on the team. Max Christy, you know he played
well the last couple games. So we gave Vincent. A

(33:56):
lot of Laker fans been calling him all kinds of names.
I said he looked like more I will say gay visit.
His contributions defensively do not show up in the box
score like last night he doesn't show up in the
box score. But I say all that to say this,

(34:17):
TJ know this. The Lakers, they need to make a
home run swing because Lebron James is showing y'all right now,
Ad is showing y'all right now that the championship window
between those two is still open and when they're healthy.
Plastical bird.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
No, I don't believe.

Speaker 7 (34:34):
It in the world.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
M m, well, that's Cuffs the ledgend hawk that talk
windows closed. I don't know, man, he looks pretty good.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (34:43):
We appreciate you. Cuts the legend from some dude show.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
Man.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
We're gonna talk to you soon and we're going to
take a quick breaking on the other side of the
break around at forty five. We're gonna do something up
on Game down on Game all right, we'd be right
back s up on Game Fox Sports Radio. All right,
all right, welcome back set up on game We're live
from the tyrack dot Com Studios.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
It's Fox Sports Radio. It's TJ.

Speaker 5 (35:22):

down in Jonas Knox will be immediately following the conclusion
of our show. Make sure you check out our podcast.
Look up up on game wherever it is that you
get your podcasts from, so that you could check us out.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Before we get up out of here, let.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
Me continue my domination over TJ and Plexico on this.
I'm up on game, down on Game.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Let's time for some picks. Are you up on game?

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Let's creak this up.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Let's break it up down on game.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Do you have the from last weekend? My god, I
do have last week's tally? How did it? How did
it go down?

Speaker 8 (36:05):
TJ went five and three last week? Leavar, you went
three and five?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yeah, talk that talk yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's ridiculous.
Giants to a giant, that's ridiculous.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
Two week is a chance to come out ahead though,
well we'll start this week, yeah of course.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
All right.

Speaker 8 (36:27):
Reminder for everybody listening, all of these odds courtesy of
our friends over DraftKings or guys are going to pick
the spread and over under on the total. We're going
to start with the Green Bay Packers headed to Chicago
to take on the Bears, who didn't have any notable
news happened this week, so should be fine and dandy
for them. The Packers a five and a half point
favorite in this one. The total currently said it forty
and a half. So LaVar will start with you here.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
I think that the Packers will cover that. I think
they'll cover that, and I think that they will hit
the over on points.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
This is a tough one, man, new Oc. The Packers
are rolling. The Bears need to show some type of
progress on offense. Bad weather, I'll say that for sure,
will be under. I'm anticipating some bad weather. I'm gonna
take the Bears with the points. I'm gonna say they

(37:21):
figure out a way to kind of produce some type
of offense. I'll take the Bears in under.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
Oh man, you know what, I gotta go with the
green Bay package. I'm gonna ket the green Bay package
with the points. I believe they went by at least ten,
and I'm going undoing the points because it's cargo Bears
and Kalles Leans and this offense, they just like they
really struggling to score points, so I'm going undoing the points,
all right.

Speaker 8 (37:46):
Next up, he Baltimore Ravens. Ravens head to Pittsburgh to
take on the Steelers. Ravens a three and a half
point road favorite.

Speaker 7 (37:52):
Here.

Speaker 8 (37:52):
The total currently said it forty and a half. So
Tj'll start with you here.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
So this is the type of game where you said
to pick them. Both teams playing very well. I'm gonna
take the team that's getting the points. So since the
Steelers are getting points, I'm gonna take the Steelers Ravens
defenses and gray Steelers that I'll go under, but I'll

(38:18):
take the Steelers in under her.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
Well, I guess y'all know who I ain't taking. I'm
I'm going with stealing Nation, no doubt about it. They cover,
they they win the football game by a touchdown, and
I'm going undoing the points because I believe t J. Watt,
Cam Haywn and his defense. They are gonna come out
and make a statement against this Baltimore offense with Lamar

(38:43):
and Derrick Henry, and they are going to play one
hell of a ball game defensively. So I'm going undoing
the points.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
I think they're gonna score points in this game, So
I'm gonna take the over on the points, and I'm
gonna be bold on this one. They going into Pittsburgh.
I'm a money line this one go with the Steelers,
all right.

Speaker 8 (39:02):
Last game here at the Kansas City Chiefs in Buffalo
Buffalo a two point favorite. The Chiefs undefeated, not favorite
in this one. The total is currently forty six and
plaques will start with you here.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Man, this is how they get you.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
I don't know why they would have the Buffalo Bills
as the favorite. So I'm going Kansas City or man,
Patrick mahone and you on the shoulder. He's trying to
accomplish something that nobody's ever done with a repeat. So
I'm going with Kansas City, but I'm going under on
the points.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
I will take the under and the points. Patrick Mahomes
is twelve one and one against the spread when he's underdog.
But I'm gonna take the Buffalo Bills. Don't ask me why.
I don't doubt.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
Because they're good and they're playing their best football right now.
I am too going to take the Buffalo Bills in
this game to cover.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
But I will say this, I will say, well, it's
not even cover. They're I'm taking the bills.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
I will say this, it will be the under on
the points though it won't be a high high scoring affair.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
That it.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
That's what we get.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
Appreciate you, BO and I appreciate you. To TJ and
Plex everybody, y'all enjoy y'all weekend. Appreciate you, Monsie, Appreciate you,
Chris Jonas Notch The JKS Show is coming at you next.
