The Kickoff, presented.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
The King of Sportsbooks.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
We're setting you up with the information you need to
watch your team. Wine is the eight game. We're here
to break it all down. Is Fox Sports Radios. Countdown
the Kickoff presented by mg app. Now we're live from
your tail game. Here's Brian no H here, NFL Better
(00:26):
and Jeff Schwartz and Professional Sports Better Bill crack Crackenberger.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Oh, welcome in week fifteen, baby NFL home stretch. Four
games left for everybody who doesn't include the Niners in
the Rams who played on Thursday night.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Four games left home stretch here, and uh, you know
we start off on the right foot. Good morning, guys.
I'm looking here at your team. I don't know if
you have any of those like diamond grills after your
guy Travis Hunter won the Heisman. You know, y'all cash
very nice you.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I uh, I regret it instantly not putting more money
on that when.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I did, But you've been saying that all season.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, I know I should have had more money. Would
I find so fascinating? Maybe he's a hate for Colorado
and Travis Hunter, but he was the best player in
college football this season. I don't think it was that debatable.
People say snaps, so many snaps, that's part of it. Yes, yes,
(01:29):
he played that many snaps and played that well. Anyways,
he won the award for best wide Receiver, which is
probably not He wasn't the best wide receiver, but he
won the award. He won every defensive award there was
day he was up for. He won the All Round
Player award. He won everything, and he's gonna be the
first pick in the draft. Jend is a great story.
I love it. But we have to consider who he
(01:52):
is playing against. That's part of the award. Are you
telling me that you could put like I mean, you
mentioned Adrian Peterson and four going whatever or oh singing
everyone in the Heisman, oh five going against that. It
just it's not the same thing as what Travis Hunter
is doing. And I think people just still have this
(02:13):
this this dislike for Colorado. I took a small piece
of gent too, just to make sure I was covered,
so I wasn't.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Like, wooh, we didn't tell us that.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
My small piece. I meant I basically took enough to
cover the cost of the Travis Hunter wager. That's basically it.
I did it like three weeks ago, though not like yesterday,
just in case. I was like, yeah, Colorado lost that
Kansas game. I was like, oh boy. It was like
I make sure I'm covered here. So you know I
still made I mean yeah, said to take home. You know,
(02:45):
I'm thirty five to one and I've made thirty four
and a half.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Time I took seven to one and six and a
half to one. You've got better odds than they came in.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Wow. Yeah, I beat you for one. So I didn't
wait as much as you. Unfortunately, if I did, I
would probably wouldn't be here. Dad.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
You know, I didn't want to. I didn't want to
joane myself. I didn't want to jinx myself, so I
really didn't tell you guys the amounts. And then yesterday,
like finally when it was announced, I sent you to tickets.
But I just sent you tickets because I just wanted
to to let you know all the different things I
have pending. And did I just hear Ilo say that
this was the closest in fifteenth So so you're tell
me that you know I sent you a text. I
(03:19):
said we're ninety five percent, right, Jeff, And you said, no,
ninety nine point nine.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, so he wasn't losing. Here's these a couple of reasons. Why.
One is that so the voters sort of are grouped
by a region. Right, there's the West, I think it's
there's weether five four regions, Brian, it's like the West
and the South, and it's not split up like we
normally do. Let me find it right now. But so
the other thing about like the West, the West is
(03:44):
going to have their voters split, right or maybe maybe
towards Gentee a tiny bit, and then the rest of
the country's going to vote for Travis Hunter. So like that,
that's that's part of it as well. So here's right here,
So there's the Northeast, mid Atlantic, South, Southwest, Midwest, far West,
and you know he got gent got his most votes
(04:04):
in the far West, like no surprise, and then Travis
Hunter cleaned up the rest of them. So the first
place votes weren't actually that big of it. It was, uh,
you know, two hundred two hundred differents. Like it's the
second place votes that almost got because gent won like
every second place vote. He won five hundred and seventeen
second place votes, Travis hundred, five hundred and fifty two
(04:25):
first place votes, so it really the first place votes
weren't really that close. It's just he won everyone. So
it sounds like if you voted for Hunter one, you
either voted for hundred one or like he's on your
ballot essentially, and everyone voted gent d two. I mean,
Curtis Work got two votes, Shoulder got a vote, Tyler
Warren got a first place vote. Those people have their
(04:46):
things that were voting. Skataboo got some the realest I'll
tell you what you want, the real surprises this whole process.
Don Gabriel easily cleared cam Ward for third place, which
I was I was surprised to see.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, well that's typically the Heisman, right, It's normally the
best player on the best team. And of course your
Ducks went undefeated, so uh yeah, it's not too shocking
to me. But I'm like you guys, where the pushback
on Travis Hunter is just strange to me. Where the
guy won the Blittnikov Award for the nation's top receiver
and he won the Chuck Bednarik Award for the best
(05:22):
defensive player in the country. The guy is a two
way start. He's the Otani of football. That's literally what
Travis Hunter was this past season. And it's no knock
on Ashton Genty who had a great year. But I
just didn't understand this massive pushback, like how could you
give it? What are you talking about? How could you
(05:42):
give him the award? How can you not?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Bryan? So look, social media X Twitter, everyone call it
can be an assess pool, and it's I've gone the point.
I just I tweet stuff and I just ignore everything
else that comes afterwards. So I hit. I tweeted about
Travis Hunter twice. One of my tweets was like rightful winter,
congratulations eothery one was like you guys talk about snaps.
I'm like, he's the number one picking a draft? Like snaps?
(06:06):
Is that unserious argument? I muted those immediately. I just
went to my my, my, my Twitter feed to get
that stat about the voters, and I muted these. I've
seen nothing for twelve hours. The tweets blew up. I
gotta say they went as they call viral. I have
no idea. I haven't read one reply mentioned.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Sometimes no, you just crack.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
You just mute it and you move it along like
once you the only reason you read the replies and
when they show up in your timeline right like in
your reply section, if you mute the conversation, it does
not show up.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
So you commute it and you can actually mute the conversation.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yes, so I so I again, like this, this one
hundred tweet right here, how do I do the engagements?
So this is Jesus I have.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
You can actually mute a whole conversation. I thought, So
I have.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
All right here that has like you know, like it's
a lot. Yeah, he's moving, Yeah, it's moving along. I'm
not changing I'm not changing my I'm not changing my mind.
Arguing people to talk about snaps. It's a snapcount award.
He won the award. He's the best player. He's own
number one overall in the draft. Think that doesn't matter.
It does matter. It's showing you because there's no stats
(07:21):
for cornerback. Okay, what interceptions is not? It's a stat
it's not doesn't mean anything, right, Like he had a
couple of times nullified because of penalties. Like, there's no stat,
there's no there's nothing you can point to and be like,
here is the cornerback stand. Now you can go to
PFF and they'll give you a great status about his coverage.
He was like one of the best greatest corners in
the country. The other argument, I hear, guys and Brian,
(07:43):
this is silly too. He wasn't the best at either position.
He was top five at both. I mean, like top
five of two positions. I don't understand. It's just to me,
it's people that don't understand his value to a team
and people that she asked in jad rush for thirty
seven times against Wyoming and I think that is like
the best play in the country. And the other argument, sorry,
(08:05):
the last one I see is if they switch places. Boys,
is not a playoff team? All right? What is that?
What does that have to do with anything? I don't.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I don't, I don't understand.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
It's not an.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Argument about winning. We've had quarterbacks win this award ninety three, right,
but it's not a winning award. It's best player award.
He's the best player in college football.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
It's thinking it.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
You guys both bring up a good point both to
Brian said it first and then you just you just
hit it again about the two way. You know, so
I googled it. The last person to win the two way,
Charles Woodson so eleven catches on offense. Rarely played wide receiver,
Hunter had ninety two perceptions over eleven hundred yards this year.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Wow, Yes, people don't. People, I think, and you know,
don't understand how well he did as the wide receiver
this season. And yeah, some of those were stat padd
In that last game of the season again Stockahoma State,
you got one hundred yards receiving the fourth quarter of
a fifty nine nothing win or whatever it was. Who cares?
Jay Danils last year were stowing deep fifty five nothing too,
(09:07):
But that's part of the award.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Well that's the thing too, is I wonder and I
know how much of this is a Colorado thing? You know,
if Travis Hunter puts up the same stat line for
a program that has as many wins as Colorado that's
not named Colorado, I think there are a lot more
Travis Hunter fans. And that's sad to say, but I
think the anti Colorado thing absolutely factors. And to the
(09:31):
anti Travis Hunter people, I tell you one thing that
they have to change. They gave Travis Hunter the award,
he had his speech, and then right after it they're like, oh,
the fan vote winner is Ashton genty as Travis Hunter
is on the stage and he claps like, oh, okay, cool, Like,
(09:51):
what are they doing?
Speaker 4 (09:52):
I know they even did that.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Oh I didn't either. That's the first time I remember that.
I'm saying it like, you gotta change it. Announce it
on sports or Twitter or something. Don't do it while
the winner is on stage. And oh, by the way,
the fans voted for the other guy, just so you know.
They got to change that immediately. That was so clunky.
But no, Travis Hunter is absolutely a deserving winner. I
(10:14):
don't understand why there's as much pushback as there is.
It's a waste of time, is really what it is.
But hey man, that's not gonna stop stupid people from
being stupid. Like they will persist. We will overcome and
be stupid over here. Okay, fine, knock yourself out. I
do like this. I wonder what you guys think. Travis
Hunter will play in the Alamobile. That's what That's what
(10:37):
Dion Sanders said. He says they don't tap out his son,
Shader Sanders will play as well. And listen, I get
both sides of it. If you're gonna be a top
five NFL draft pick and you don't want to risk
serious injury. I understand why you would sit out a
non playoff game, But at the same time, I think
it's awesome. I think it's awesome that they're gonna suit
up and play. At least that's what we've been told.
(11:01):
And I think a lot of times we overstate just
how much severe danger these top five projected picks are.
Ian then they're playing football. They're doing what they've always done.
Let's not act like they're juggling steak knives and walking
over hot lava, you know what I mean. Like, I
think we go too far with the risk factor. I
love that they're gonna play.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Interesting Jeff, what do you from being a football player?
Your opinion there?
Speaker 2 (11:24):
So Dion said a couple weeks ago that the reason
they're playing is he saw what happened last bowl season
when teams like Florida State had no one playing their
bowl game, and then what happened in the regular season.
I'm not sure that correlates, but you know, to be fair,
Oregon had their starters playing their bowl game, and you
know that that translated over next year. Him, it's more
(11:45):
about I think a program defining moment, like hey, guys,
we're we sign up for this, we're finishing out our season.
That being said, yeah, I would, I wouldn't play snap.
I I just different air now crack. And you know,
back when I played, we all played the Bowl game,
didn't matter, you know what your status was. But it's
now acceptable not playing that game. Both they are they
get nothing for this. I do wonder if it's one
(12:08):
of those things where they dress and play a half
and shut it down, say they played, there's no just
there's no purpose. I get Look, I get it. Like
last year, bow Knicks playing in the Bowl Game for
Oregon very clearly was trying to get the completion record
he got, I mean complete percent record. He got it,
and they took him out of the game immediately. So
(12:30):
me the situation where you reward the fans from for
traveling to the to the game, you have Sugar come
in for us, you know, a half maybe less, and
you shut him down the second half and he lets
them in the backups play and use an audition for
next season. There's a discussion that we had probably not
on this on this show, but you know, Bowl season
right now is is a wreck. I don't know if
(12:52):
you guys saw yesterday Marshall have to pull out of
a bowl game because yeah, I Army minus fourteen, I mean,
which was a bad number. It was like eleven. But
I looked at Marshall was gonna be down. I wrote
about this for Fox Sports. I gotta find that. I
think Marshall was down three quarterbacks, like two corners, two linebackers,
(13:12):
a bunch of other opt outs, and Army cares like
I think a big part of bowl season is the
care factor. And you look at it. I love by
the way, I love a game on Tuesday. It's moved now.
I think a couple of points. But I wrote about
Memphis minus three on Tuesday in the Frisco Bowl. That
might be out to four and a half five now,
(13:33):
because you look at at motivation for this, right you
have a Memphis team, most of the team's gonna be
in the bowl game. They're playing in in the bowl game,
but playing in West Virginia team that is that has
You know, that's not a whole right now because of
portal players and Memphis wants to win that game. So
(13:53):
I look down and think it's four and a half now, Wow,
that moved a lot and there's certain opportunities to find
these games. Otherwise, bull season, guys is unbedible. You just
can't do it.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I just can't do that.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
That gamebles, Oh boy, I didn't even I sent you
guys to copy of one of my sheets here and
that that was Look at that ten and a half.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
That's terrible, great number. Yeah, that's very terrible that I have.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
To get the money back. I don't want it back.
I mean, no, that that is that's just uh but Jeff,
you mentioned a game that went from three to four
and a half. That that's a great move though, and
and uh to get the value of going through the
three and the four getting off the.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
I mean this did open like Memphis getting a couple
of points. I didn't get the best number, but I
got it before it it.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
Really because I have Memphis opening up at the two
sports books that I follow them at minus two and
a half minus three, so they were actually an underdog.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Interesting me.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Just check Memphis rush up to four and a half.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I mean I see look, I Actionally Network tracks the numbers,
right they have this uh yeah, I mean they have
West Virginia opening up at the very very initial minus
four and a half.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Hmm, okay, well.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
I know if that's I don't know how I get
I mean, I.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
I yeah that MGM Memphis minus four and a half
minus fifteen.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
So yeah, I know, I don't know what I mean.
You know where it opened up could be different, right
because offshore versus on shore versus sure some of the
books that initiated the originate the numbers. I don't know,
but you know that's bull season. I had two wagers.
I have Memphis and I have Army. I have a fee.
You don't have Army anymore. I was gonna bet on
col and then Cal's quarterback decided to keep piecing out too.
(15:36):
So yeah, I don't know how you I don't know
how you guys do it? Do you bet on the bulls? Crack?
Speaker 4 (15:40):
Yeah, no, I've taken some lead on some of the bulls.
They come out in only limited places, so it's hard
to put everyone on them. But when only one or
two sports books had them, and I did bet on
some of the bulls, but not not like years past,
though you're right, years pass was a lot more bulls.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
We Brian, I actually we probably do this today. At
some point we we will have the playoffs happen before
we get this next Sunday.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
I know, yeah, I know we should. We should preview that.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
How we feel, Brian. Six days out, five days out.
You guys played Friday.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
That's right, Friday. We get it going here?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
You go in.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
No, I'm not going to be there, but I will
be there in spirit.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Brian a Notre Dame guy. For those who have not
listened to Georg show ever.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
They from South Spend, Yeah, that's my hometown.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Yeah, well that I mean, you don't have to explain it.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
I mean, I'm just saying, like some people think I
went there, but I didn't go there. I just I'm
from that line is solid.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Did not move open?
Speaker 5 (16:35):
Yeah, that's right. The Cardinals, the Cardinals, Cardinals. Maybe the
person asked this question. Jove always wondered this. Who in
the mac? I always am fascinated by who is sitting
in the crowd on a Tuesday Toledo ball state game
if you don't have relations to the players, like who's going? Like,
did you go as it?
Speaker 6 (16:56):
No?
Speaker 1 (16:56):
I never went. I never went to one game while
I was there. Because I'm a notre I'm a noting
Notre Dame.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
You know, like you also didn't have Tuesday Matt games.
That either probably right.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
I really don't know. I really don't know if they
did or not. I'm not sure. I don't know. I
almost went when Randy Moss was at Marshall. I almost
went to that game, but I'm like, nah, I'm not.
I didn't go to anything. Hey, it's football time at BETMGM.

(18:45):
let's do this.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Follow the money, real good money.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Yes, we are following the money with our main man,
Christian Sipolini, BETMGM Trading Manager. Good morning to you, Christian.
I just look, it looks like we've got a little
bit of line movement, some Cowboys money, some Dolphins money,
both those lines moving to two and a half compared
to three So what do you think about this line movement?
(19:10):
Does this indicate a lot of money coming in on
the Cowboys in the fins?
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Yeah, usually that's not the case. I mean, usually it's
more sharp action that we'll guide us there. But I
can say in this one, we were pretty late to
move off of the three. On that Texans Dolphins game.
We ended up taking a pretty big bet on Dolphins
plus three, so that guided us in the movie at Denver,
pretty much the last one to move off the market.
(19:36):
So maybe a little latent for us, but it will
definitely be room for the Texas after that one.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I'm curious about the Eagles and the Steelers. It does
feel like I've been calling this too this week of
the mantra of well, Mike Tomlin's a dog, he covered
sixty percent of these games. Just take the Steelers. Where
is he the money on this one?
Speaker 6 (19:58):
Yeah, people are agreeing with you on that one. While
when I'm looking at the money line, you know, it
might a suc empy. It's nothing crazy, but that's you know,
we are taking Eagles money there, but on the spread,
it's it's pretty much a majority at this point Steelers,
So there's a lot of people not feeling that the
Eagles will cover that five and a half one, which
is a pretty big spread against two, you know, teams
(20:19):
that are record wise very very good.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
So at this.
Speaker 6 (20:24):
Point, at least the backers that I'm seeing don't think
the Egles can cover that five and a half.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Hey, Christian Bill Krachenberger, And you know, finally, finally I
got bet MGM for a few bucks. I've only made
like five deposits, but yesterday Travis Hunter, I cashed out
good amount I had. I had two dimes on seven
to one, finally made And like I said, I've only
made deposits. So this is going to be a happy
withdrawal this week. Let me ask you, I've seen this
(20:52):
email that that John Ewing sent out. You guys took
one hundred and eighty thousand dollars bet on the Chief's
money line two and a quarter. It's the most bet
team ticket wise and the most bet team handle. Is
that still the case right now?
Speaker 6 (21:07):
Yeah? I can't figure out.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
That's what I can't figure out. I'm like, Wow, it's
the line still for what's going on here?
Speaker 6 (21:14):
Yeah? From that's what that's what we're seeing on our
back end, probably about eighty eighty five percent of the
money is on the chief A lot has gone against him.
And this is weekend we got where I can't really
get a sense of where at least the public and
the money coming in keeps coming on the Chiefs because
this week we're taking a ton of Chiefs money. Last
week we didn't, the week before we did, so it's
(21:36):
just kind of a roller coaster at this point. I
don't know if some of it's just the backup jamis
is a you know, pick six machine, and that if
you are not covering at the end, maybe he helps
you out. But yeah, I guess maybe some of it
could be the low scoring and the Chiefs defense, but yeah,
I'm not sure. But eighty percent Chiefs money.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Wow, interesting stuff. Okay, Christian, what would you say? What
are your top two or three red needs here today?
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Yeah? I mean usually it's always the biggest point spread
of the game, but that's actually not the case in
this Ravens Giants one. That point is just so big
that we did end up taking at least a little
bit of gimes. Funny, and at minus sixteen hundred, you know,
it's probably not worth it to throw it into some
par Lays, So I don't think it's gonna be that one.
I think the one that I'm gonna pick is going
to be the Saints to upset the Commanders will be nice.
(22:24):
But even if they just cover, I think that will
be very good as well. That's one where we're seeing
eighty five percent of our actions coming in on the Commanders.
We're just really not riting a lot of stints. But
if I can throw one more in there, i'd be
the Titans, another team that we're just not taking many
bets on. About eighty five percent of that's coming in
on the Bengals so far. So if I can get
the Titans and the Saints to cover or win, probably
(22:45):
a good debt.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Let's talk of the big game in Detroit today, Buffalo Detroit.
I would imagine the public's all over the over in
that game, looking at those two offenses against those two defenses.
What have you seen from the total of that game
so far?
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Yeah, highest points for the week, but we've got nothing
but over bets. Somewhere about seventy that's coming in on
the over. I'd imagine as one where we're going to
see not only over bets, but same game parlay as
a touchdown scorers, all those big, big stunts pretty much
anything on their overs, I think we're gonna see so
(23:20):
that's a high scoring game, not going to be good
for the book.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Yeah, and that's all over money. All the wise guys
bet over early in the week. Then the public's now
going to be pounding that over. I would think, ye, ash,
you surprised me there with the Baltimore game. I I
see seventeens popping up now on my screen, and minus
twenty to one, you guys are still you guys are
actually one of the lowest money lines that minus sixteen
to one on the Baltimore game. Now, I'm just thinking
(23:49):
to myself, doesn't everyone just throw that in there as
let me just enhance my money line parlay a little bit.
But but you guys are just holding steady at the
sixteen to one and holding steady at the sixteen and
a half. So you're actually seeing some some giants money
come in obviously.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
Yeah, I am seeing those seventeen also. We probably will
end up following the market a bit there. But I
just met more in the side of Commander Saints. We're
not taking any Saints bets. We are at least taking
some at that sixty and a half and throughout the week,
you know, just with this prior numbers so manymore, I
(24:30):
don't think it's one that will really need for the
book to like change our week around. And from that
moneyline perspective, I know people throw in parlays when you
know the team's minus four hundred and five hundred. But
maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see that being
the exact same throwing that in at minus sixteen hundreds
really doesn't at least, you know, at least from what
(24:51):
I've seen, doesn't be the same as we see a
lot of people at in minus five hundreds, minus four
hundred thinking this is guaranteed easy, le gotcha, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (24:59):
All right?
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Well, hey man, great stuff is always. Hope you enjoy
Week fifteen. Man, we'll catch you soon.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
Yeah, great chat with you guys. Ever, won't have a
new week.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
All right. I feel like saying you as well, crack,
But then I feel like, as a guy has a
tremendous week, but I feel like you as well. It
feels like, hey, bet mgm win tons of money, take
all of our cash, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Do you know about four years ago, maybe five five,
about four seasons ago, I was on air in downtown
here in Las Vegas, and I remember a week like this,
were a seventeen point and a fourteen point favorite both
lost in the NFL outright, so anything is bound to
happen here. I find it interesting that BETMGM they pretty
(25:48):
much hold solid. I mean, you would think they get
so much money in volume, and I don't mean to
say this, but they would get a lot of square
money in volume. You think they would go to the
seventeen like one of the first ones. I'm telling you
fifty sixty percent now sixty percent of the sports books
in the world now are at seventeen and betmg I'm
holding at sixteen and a half. I find that interesting,
(26:11):
I really do. But anyway, yeah, we go on. I
just think I have Baltimore, by the way in my
survivor pool this week here in town forty.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Save them good for you?
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Yeah, no, you know a lot of people did save them,
though I was surprised, like twenty some people, twenty five
people had Baltimore available only like I think twelve of
us used Baltimore. The rest used a combination of things.
Some Arizona which surprised me. They had Baltimore available and
then a lot of used Minnesota, and that's what it was.
It was either going to be Minnesota or Baltimore and
(26:43):
the survivor pool for the team that I bought a
piece of. So I do want Baltimore to went out.
I shouldn't even be talking about these seventeen point upsets,
but boy, I'll tell you what for the spread, give
me the seventeen. I may have to just based on
the past. Now, listen, I understand the quarterback situation there
is ridiculous, and the Giants have basically given up. I
(27:06):
understand that. But seventeen points to any NFL team, Jesus,
and this is not a Baltimore team that's like, you know,
eleven wins. This is like a I believe you guys
are helping her? Are they eight and five? Is that right?
I mean off and eating five team? Give it seventeen
points on the road that may never happen again.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
That's crazy.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Well, I'll tell you what. If you talk about the
Giants or the Vikings as survivor options, you know who's
a great survivor option. Crack every time? Isaac Lowing from Yeah,
if you're ever in a pinch, go with this. That's right,
he's got the latest. Sorry about that.
Speaker 7 (27:44):
It was just doing some surviving over there on the
on the shore.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
I love that movie.
Speaker 7 (27:49):
Indeed, you want to talk about great hard performing a
whole movie with a volleyball that takes some acting ability.
Busy morning so far the National Football League. The Washington
Commanders have just added center Tyler Biadish to their injury
report for today's game at New Orleans. He's officially questionable
due to illness. The Houston Texans announced the tight end
(28:11):
Cade Stover underwent emergency at pendectomy surgery last night. He
is expected to make a full recovery, and then in
the understatement of the day, the Texans added Stover has
been downgraded to out for today's.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Game against the Dolphins.
Speaker 7 (28:27):
Thank you for clarifying that ESPN reports of candidates that
the New York Jets are expected to interview for their
general manager job will include former Tennessee Titans GM John
Robinson and former Washington and Philadelphia Director of Player Personnel
Lewis Riddick. The Jets meanwhile ruled out tight end Tyler
Conklin for today's game at Jacksonville due to personal reasons.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Finally, guys.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
Prior to last night's National Hockey League game between the
Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins, fans on a freeway overpass
about half a mile from Ottawa's arena noticed a guy
on the side of the road in minus ten degree weather,
running frantically towards the arena carrying an enormous hockey equipment bag.
(29:12):
It turned out that Ottawa backup goalkeeper Anton Forsburg was
injured during pregame warmups, and the guy carrying the bag
running towards the arena was Ottawa's emergency backup goalkeeper Zach Diets.
The Senators wound up beating the Penguins in overtime, and
Deetz's services wound up not being needed. Apparently there were
(29:33):
no ubers available in the local area for mister Deets.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Back to you, Thank you, I Low. It is Fox
Sports Radioscatdown to kick Off, presented by BETMGM. Okay fellos,
Let me throw a game at you, Dolphins at the
Texans been a little bit of line movement. Texans were
favored by three. It's down to two and a half
that the Texans. That's right, Thank you, Chris Parfeder, trusted
technical producer. Very nice. We got some crack under line
(30:00):
movement right there, you know, and also the under we
get a little bit of action on the under. Right,
it's down to forty six. Now, a couple of stats
I'll throw at you. This is interesting to me. Houston's
passing offense is only seventeenth in the entire NFL. And
c J Stroud's been healthy all season. Right, if you
look at the Dolphins, Two has missed numerous games. The
(30:23):
Dolphins passing game is at fourteenth. Even though two has
been out. CJ's been there the whole time. He's taken
a bit of a step back. I know Nico Collins
has missed a little bit of time, but when you
have your top quarterback in there, you would expect the
passing attack to be better than seventeenth. The thing with
the Dolphins, Jeff, you bring this up all the time.
They smash the bad teams and oftentimes lose to the
(30:46):
good teams. Under Mike McDaniel. The question is are the
Texans a good team? I think that's a legitimate question
at this point.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
It's a great question. I do have the Texans today
in my contest for a couple raisons. One is they're
off a buy, and I think they have a good
coaching staff, Brian. And most often when you're off a buy,
you with good coaching staff, you sort of evaluate your
self scout, and you come back the next week and
(31:14):
you don't do new things, but do things that work
for you, including throwing the football a little bit more. Right.
I get their offensive line is a problem, but realizing like,
our best weapon is our quarterback, and let's get some
easy passes for him, let's get move the ball in
a better way, and I like them off a bye.
You mentioned the Dolphins. I don't know, man, you're a
(31:37):
Dolphins fan. Sure lost last week. I don't know. I
just don't know. The offense has really turned into get
the ball out a quick as possible because we're fraid
two it is gonna get hit. And that's the offense.
I just don't trust that offense on the on the
on the road gets the team off a bye. Also
worth noting the voice on the Dolphins and the over
(32:00):
so I have the Texans and the under uh. And
it's not the text anyways in my call, as I said,
it's like it's not I'm not waving around that, but
uh oh, it's always great to hear Cracks say there's
line movement in the other direction of the voice. So
always always worked that voice. Yesterday cashing college basketball, thank
you for that. H good, good day for for a fade.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
So uh yeah you we alertless to that, Jeff, I
had no idea the voice was that bad in college
basketball over the years. I thought it was just an NFL.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
No, it's actually worse in college basketball. It's wow, it's yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
This will be something I'm going to get involved with.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Then yeah, you're good good, you know, good place to be. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
Yeah, So, Brian, your Dolphins team is really starting to
pick up some momentum. I didn't know till this morning
that they're looking to pick up their fifth win in
six games, hoping to get to seven and seven today
would have went over Houston. Uh and you know, they
they've looked, maybe even like a playoff team would to
a back at the helm. Jeff's probably right though, trying
to get she's real quick plays, let them get rid
(32:56):
of the ball. And even last week once I seen
him like slow and everyone was like, you know right away,
but this is this is gonna be a big test
for them, especially now that the voice is on the
other side. I'll just tell you that Houston coming off
a well needed buy and they're sitting at eight and five,
but their offense is just not looked as good as
people thought it was gonna be with second year quarterback
Stroud after last year. That's why I'll tell you one
(33:20):
person that one group is real happy the sportsbooks they
took so many bets because of Stroud this year on
Houston futures, I don't think they have to worry though. Anyway.
They really need to get that running game going. Mixing
against the Dolphins d which actually ranked seventh in the
NFL against their run so should be actually a good
game and it's gonna have some major AFC playoff implications.
(33:42):
So let's see what happens.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yeah, one thing here with the props, how about Tua?
Can I interest you in a couple of two of props? Jeff,
you mentioned that the dink and dunk offense. How about
a completions prop. It's on the high side. It's at
twenty four and a half, but right now at bet
MGM that's minus one twenty. I don't think that's a
terrible play. Maybe at two over one and a half
(34:05):
touchdown throws? Right, can he get the two touchdown throws that?
The ground game hasn't been working very well last week
a Chan did nothing against the Jets that just been
given up rushing yards left and right. They e Chan
had like fourteen carries for twenty four yards.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
Right.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
This could be a two high attempts, high completion type game.
I could absolutely see game script going that way.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah, I could see that being the case too. I
mean John new Smith seems to be the best wager
right now, right, I mean it feels like too easy.
But John new Smith, I mean he keeps getting catches
every week. He's become a big part of the offense,
especially on on third down, the screens in the red zone.
Like he I thought John new Smith is wager against
(34:49):
him a couple of weeks now, I think that that
feels like a pretty good spot to be, right. I mean,
if you take if you take John us Smith over,
give me maybe adjusted a little bit. I mean he's
been right, Brian, he's been numb.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
More target for him, Yeah, they've targeted him a ton.
He's getting a lot of action. I Just think if
AJ Brown was on the Dolphins and they're just targeting
targeting John new Smith, he'd be like, what the hell's going?
Speaker 6 (35:12):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (35:12):
I have many thoughts on AJ Brown today. It's been
my favorite wager all week.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Oh nice, Okay, I don't.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Know how you They're gonna give him the ball.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
A lot in my opinion. All right, we'll get to that.
Looking forward to that. All right, We've got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com
sports handicapper. I'm Brian now coming up next the parlay Pladder.
We'll each have one selection for you. We'll pull it
together for a greater payout. We'll let you know what
we're thinking. Coming up. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
(35:40):
Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. Every time you make a
wager at BETMGM, you earn BETMGM rewards points that can
be redeemed for things like bonus bets or converted to
MGM rewards points that could be used towards dining shows
and hotel rooms. At over twenty MGM resorts. All right,
(36:01):
let's do.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
This, check this out far late letter.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
All right, we each have one selection for you. We
pull it together for a greater payout. Crack. We start
with you.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
What do you like? Man? Well, we got to go
buy BEDMGM line, so I'm gonna go by BETMGM. I
was hoping they actually followed the market here on the seventeen,
but they're holding steady here. So let's go with the
Giants plus sixteen and a half points. Giants plus sixteen
and a half. Wow, yeah, it's imprising, right.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Cool track. You give me harp palpitations here. I don't
know if you've still the Giants roster at all.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
But I know, God, I thought you'd be dying to
lay sixteen and a half cracked. I am not confused with.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Somebody else, never ever, never ever. I mean, I don't
care who was playing quarterback.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
What if I was suiting up today for the Giants?
Speaker 4 (36:49):
Would you still find I'm still taking you? Yeah? Got it?
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Okay, I will. Well, Jesus, we're doing a straight number.
I got some leeway here to play with the number
because that's minus one ten, right, cracking up minus one ten.
They're Okay, how about this. Give me Chiefs first half
money line minus one eighty five. A couple of things here.
One of the Chiefs we've seen now three straight weeks,
have played really well in the first half of games,
(37:13):
up but fourteen in Carolina, and up on the Raiders,
and up on the last week, up thirteen to nothing.
But more importantly, guys, if the Chiefs win today and
the Steelers lose the six point Dogs and Buffalo loses Detroit,
gus was a three game lead with three games left
for the number one seed. The Chiefs do.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
It's that lucky team. They just want their way to wins.
They're Jeff, and we could.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Talk about the Chiefs a little bit more. So give
me Chiefs. My dog degrees to Chiefs first half money.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Line, right, very nice, Glad that what's your dog's name again,
fau Fae?
Speaker 2 (37:50):
One year tomorrow, we've had him. He's still barking like this.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
I love it the greatest.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Okay, I'm putting everything together, Jeff, I'll get your pick.
He went Chiefs money line first half, right, yes, sir,
all right, very nice. I'm gonna go with Josh Allen
Bill's quarterback. Give me over seven and a half rushing attempts.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
We've talked about this plenty, right, Jeff. We saw a
big game earlier at home against the Chiefs. He went
over there, a big game against the Lions. Obviously, the
Lions under Dan Campbell, with mobile quarterbacks, they've really struggled.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Yes, and I.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Don't know that James Cook has a great game today.
So Josh Allen, he's absolutely gonna tuck it and run
numerous times. I like that play. Give me the over there.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
I like this too, because this is we're talking about
this with Josh Allen. Like, these are these break glass
games where like everything has to be done to win.
I like we've been on this a lot this year,
Brian this over this over Josh Allen, these big games.
I like it.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
I like, yeah, I think it's a good spot for it.
So if you take these three bats crack, you're Giants
plus sixteen and a half. Jeff, you took the Chief's
first half money line against the Browns. I've got Josh
Allen over seven and a half rushing attempts. That's plus
four thirty nine. So you get about four and a
half to one at bet MGM. If you want that
(39:09):
shout out to our guy Bowie. He normally takes our
our parlay platter Andrews actual money on.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Yeah, no, he's a good guy. We have a couple
of good followers, Andrew and Jersey, same thing. Good good.
We have some really good followers now good comments.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
Absolutely, we do no doubt. Did you think about laying
the three at halftime, Jeff at all against the Browns
or a little if that one?
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Well, because of the parlay, I feel like I can
just get away with taking the money line. Nothing wrong
with that, like it, I don't know. It feels like
I mean, what the odds went from one? We got
four fifty seven hundred.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
With it, it'd be plus five sixty eight.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
Yeah, that's not nothing. I'm fin with it.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
A little less than six to one, all right? Coming
up next, is there a lack of respect for two
of the top teams in the entire NFL. We shall discuss.
Good morning, Welcome in less than two hours away from
kickoff here in week fifteen, biggest game of the weekend.
We've got the Bills at the Lions. That's an afternoon
(40:11):
start here. Detroit favored by two and a half. That's
my question. Fellas. Like we talk about the Chiefs getting
a lack of respect, are the Lions getting a lack
of respect? In this spot? We know the Bills are
a good team, but the Lions at home, they've been
an absolute machine all season long. Twelve and one and
(40:31):
they're not even favored at home by a standard field goal.
It's less than that. That seems like a bit of
disrespect to me. Does it not to you?
Speaker 2 (40:41):
Well, then their defense is a problem. That's why, right
is their defense is so hurt, it's so beat up.
How do they stop Buffalo in this game? You can
make the case Buffalo's defense is just as bad. I
wouldn't say no, but they're gonna play better because they
got a bearst against the Rams. Like, that's just the
way the NFL works, right, You typically play better next week.
(41:03):
And I think two, I picked the Rams last week
to upset the Bills. I think I said that last weekend.
A typical NFL cycle is you're sort of due for
a loss at some point against someone who can sort
of punch back. The Lions are in the same spot
today where they are due for a loss. They've sort
(41:24):
of been living on the edge a little bit but
not that the Chiefs are different category. Throw the Chiefs out.
They're separate thing. They've sort of been living on the
edge a little bit, right. You know, they went they
went four for five on fourth down. Last game, they
go two for five, they lose to get the Packers game,
they go two or five. Today they lose against Buffalo.
(41:44):
I'll get Josh Allen off a loss. Need to win
again to keep pace with the Chiefs. The Lions don't
have to win per se, right, I mean they're controlled
their division ish ish. I think they're better than the Vikings,
and better than the Bears, and better. They have the
tiebreaker in the Packers now twice, so I'm not surprised.
I also think, just from a price perspective and cracking
(42:06):
answer this obviously, if you put Buffalo plus three, that
would have been smashed by every sharp group imaginable, and
I think you just couldn't do that. You couldn't leave
yourself with that exposure. I like the Bills plus two
and a half, so I think they win the game
out right, but I feel like crack. If you put
this number at three, how many seconds does that number last?
If you post a three immediate I mean that number
(42:27):
is blasted immediately.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
Yeah, if anyone puts up a three, the pros are gonna,
you know, gobble that up. I'm sure, And you know
a lot of times when I'm looking at two and
a half, boy, I'll tell you with analytics, now, I
guess you could take two and a half because of
they go for two on certain situations, and maybe even
the extra point a little bit further back than it
was a decade ago. But I like to look at
(42:51):
the money line, like you said, So in that situation,
I was just looking on bet MGM because I wanted
to see what alternate lines there were. But yeah, I'd
probably just stick with the plus. Well, they're plus two
and a half minus o five, so that means a
lot too when you're laying oh five compared to you know,
compared to the way in a dollar ten. So yeah,
(43:13):
it's it's listen this game, boy, it's everyone's excited for
this one. This could be a preview of the big game.
Like Bryan said earlier, ten and three Buffalo, twelve and
one Detroit. You know, it's amazing both of these teams
have never won a Super Bowl. So I'm thinking to myself, Wait,
a minute Buffalo didn For some reason, my brain just
thinks Buffalo was in won a Super Bowl. So fans
(43:34):
on both sides getting really excited as we inched closer
to the playoffs. When you think about this year's Bills,
everyone thinks about MVP favorite Josh Allen and the offense,
but the Bill's defense have actually been pretty impressive all
season long, only given up twenty point six a game,
even though they've given up a whopping forty four to
the Rams last week, so they will need their edge.
(43:54):
Rutgers for sure to step it up today and put
some pressure on Golf and this line. It's Lions offense.
The Lions have used a perfect mix of running pass
this year and been one of the most efficient offenses
we've seen in years. They'll have their hands full on defense,
as the Bills also bring a very balanced and efficient offense.
Josh Allen has really cut down on his mistakes this
(44:16):
year and just as enforcing like he was used to
in the past. So it should be an exciting game.
I'm not even thinking there's gonna be a lot of points,
but I'll tell you I just fifty four and a half.
I can't go over after this game was hit earlier
in the week, Boll, I'll tell you. I can tell
you the sportsbooks are definitely rooting for the Unders. So
I think there's gonna be a lot of offensive fireworks here.
(44:37):
But again, I can't pull the trigger at over fifty
four and a half in an NFL game.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Top two scoring offenses in the league Lions number one,
Bill's number two, and I wonder, like you brought this
up too, Jeff, how banged up the Lions defense is.
The Bills have scored thirty plus points in seven straight games.
That's one shy of I believe, tying an NFL record,
But thirty plus and seventh straight is like eye popping stuff.
(45:04):
So I'm curious what the Lions. Maybe their best defense
is a good offense. Do they play a little ball control,
like not Army style. They're not gonna just run it
all day. But you've seen these games where Jared Goff
is like eighteen for twenty two, like a completing almost everything.
I wonder if it's similar to that today.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
I could see that, Brian, But also I think they're
gonna do the same thing on fourth down though. This
is why the total to me is so fascinating because
I think both teams are gonna be uber aggressive on
fourth down. It would not surprise me if we got
through this game and there were there were eight fourth
down attempts. So that could mean the game goes way
under or way over, depending on how those fourth fourth
(45:45):
down attempts go. Right, the Buffalo has shown. When Buffalo
is shown, when they're playing like Kansas City, like they're
going for it on fourth down, we know what Dann
Campbell's gonna do. So that could really to me sway
the total sway the winner in this game. I mean, look,
just from a sort of a mathatical perspective, the Lions
(46:06):
aren't going to be four for five and fourth down
again and they're for fourth down, they might not win
this game.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
I wonder how many where the punts prop is? How
many punts do you think we get in this game,
Bill's Lions. I'm not thinking many.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
I don't think it would not be many. I don't think.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
Yeah, no, I don't think.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
So.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
Let me throw another game at you, Chiefs, Browns. We're
expecting weather in this one, right, We've got some wins.
A little bit of rain here. Listen, if you play
this game out start with this. The Browns have a
hard time running the football. The Chiefs rush defense has
been reliable all season long. Yeah, so let's just start
(46:51):
with that. The Browns probably aren't going to be able
to run the ball very effectively. What are you left with?
You're left with Jamis Winston in the wind, in the
rain producing points for the Browns against that chief secondary.
That's not the greatest formula for success there. And Christian
surprised me, right, did he say, what eighty five percent
(47:11):
of the money didn't go?
Speaker 4 (47:12):
Yeah? High, Well, they took a two hundred and some
thousand dollars bet on the Chief's already money line, so that, yeah,
they're going to be rooting for Cleveland. And to be
honest with you, with four and a half, I actually
may bite on a little bit on Cleveland Show, but yeah,
they're going to be rooting for Cleveland big time.
Speaker 1 (47:26):
Yeah, definitely. And that's the funny thing to me is
a lot of the public has been in Chiefs fade
mode this season. Right, We've seen them not cover spreads
consistently and it just stops with Jamis, like they can't
do it, not looking at back the underdog when it's
jamis here. That's what the public is saying loudly in
(47:48):
this spot.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
So the Chiefs interesting, right, guys, I mentioned this. So
the last three games, all right, it was Panthers. They're
up twenty to six in the first half, is twenty
nine in the second half of that game. All right,
They're up sixty to three against the Raiders, and the
second half against the Raiders up thirteen to nothing. And
I have to miss the Chargers. I don't think they're
(48:10):
that bad. I kind of think they just get bored
and they're gonna do the same thing today, same things
happen to win by field goal or some something. Silly.
Harrison Bucker's back, so Matthew right, especially the play of
the week is cut, which is just incredibly sad. But
that's the way the NFL works. They just don't care
like I think that. Look, the bartender is on the Browns,
(48:36):
said I should say, And he's the hottest gamble of
all time this season, so I can't say, just fade
him behindly. But if the Chiefs want to play sixteen minutes,
they're gonna win this game going away. If they choose
not to, then they're just not going to and that's
why I follow Kansas City. I kind of change in
my opinion. I think that they don't do anything well
right now is kind of a silly thing. I said
that last week. They don't. I mean, they're left tackled
(48:58):
against Mallas Garrett and he's a huge problem because one
d and Morris is gonna play. That's a huge problem,
like mahomes is. They don't have to game plan for
that specifically, but like they just don't care, like they
just want to. They just don't crack and Brian, if
this was a playoff game, they'd win this game by
two touchdowns, you know, but they just don't care right
(49:18):
now to win these games by a lot. And it's
Frustratings a Chiefs fan. They're not covering. But James Winston,
I've been on the Browns a bunch this year with
Jameis Winston guys. Last week I was as well, it
is a painful experience. I mean, yeah, they just turn
the ball over and do dumb things and like it
is just so it's so tough to watch. So again,
(49:40):
I'm on the Chiefs only because of the Bartender fade,
which again he's like seventy percent this year so maybe
not not the best thing, but I like Chiefs first half. Otherwise,
you know, I think she's just win this game and
move and move it along. I mean, a Chief's money
line in a parlay wouldn't be bad. I think of
this week.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
And it just moved cracked. The line moved to chie
minus four and a half. And it's funny too. I
just had a flashback to remember when we still had
Deshaun Watson, when he was healthy this season and wasn't
playing well, and there was just this push start Jamis bench.
To Sean, It's like, bro, you're not getting anywhere with
Jamis either. It's the consistent thing. The most popular player
(50:20):
on the team is a backup quarterback on a struggling squad.
And that was it. And it's like, okay, put in Jamis.
It's not gonna be any better. And here we are,
Browns three and ten.
Speaker 4 (50:31):
Jeff, real quick, Jeff, I mean to go off. You know, guys,
I have a live line screen. They pay like six
hundred dollars a month for this thing. Jeff. What's going
on in Carolina? What's going on when you live outside?
Is it weather? Okay?
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (50:43):
It does it?
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Spotty rain, today, like nothing.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Your line move Carolina under went moved a full point
at half.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Yeah, they said it's over. They said it's overcast.
Speaker 4 (50:55):
Tween and a half move doesn't happen a lot on
a Sunday.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
They said it's gonna be you know, off and on
rain like nothing heavy.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
Maybe just to garbage. I guess, just get the season over.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
With some one of those games guys where so I
think this game is should be a pick them. I
think it should be around to pick them, not Carolina.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
And it was.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
And it's one of those where the number guy blasted
so fast that it makes me think that the Panthers
actually the right side in this game. Because when I
have those thoughts of like, oh, this number doesn't seem right,
but obviously money movers are moving this number that I
want to be on the side of those money movers.
(51:42):
I don't want to be on the side of thinking
I was wrong, and I certainly I think it's too high.
I need these teams. There's no homefield advantage today for
the Panthers. The Cowboys fans will be out in full force.
But the Cowboys meant to I don't know where they
are right now that lost against the Bengals and the
Panthers are feeling good, right, They're so close to getting
a win. Today feels like that breakthrough day for the Panthers.
(52:02):
Get that win, get that cover, get the Cowboys there
beat up, right, Trevon Diggs over shown like all these
guys are hurt. Michael Parsons on the sideline like emotionally
spent after that game. The offensive line is a wreck
right now for the Cowboys. It just feels like it's
coming up Panthers today.
Speaker 4 (52:19):
But Brian was right when we came on air, or no,
actually was when I think Brian said when we talked
to Christian Dallas, there was a couple three dog twenties
on the screen and they have all disappeared. Now there's one.
There's still one left. So you know, Carolina was a
buy at pick them. But I'll tell you at three,
Dallas is definitely a play. So I just can't see
(52:42):
being a three point unless they really gave up on
the whole season and they just want to get out
of there. But like you said, Jeff, and I didn't
think of that. So in Carolina, will there be thirty
forty Dallas fans.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
If the Cowboys were good. It would feel like a
Cowboys home game. Wow, this I exposed to a lot
of people here. Now it's interesting dynamic because Charlotte didn
get a team with nineteen ninety five. So all the
white haired ticket owners, right, the older people that own
tickets here, they are not fans of the Panthers. They're
fans of the Steelers, the Cowboys, the Bills, because the
(53:15):
Panthers weren't their team as a kid. They just are
here and they got season tickets. So when the Steelers
show up, they take off their Panthers jersey, put their
Steelers jersey on. Same thing with the Cowboys. Right. The
younger crowd that has season tickets, you know, my age
thirty eight, they grew up with the Panthers. They're Panthers fans.
So they're like so. But like all the people that
(53:35):
have tickets that are that are even older, that majority
of you know, they're not Their first team is not
the Panthers. Their first team is another team. And that's
the way it works here, and it will eventually change obviously,
when you know, those people give their tickets up or
unfortunately pass along, the youth will sort of they're all
Panthers fans put it like that. So that's the way
the dynamic works here. But the Cowboys stink. So yeah,
(53:59):
I don't really know how the Cowboys fans will be here.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
It just it reminds me of a pro wrestling thing
where they just go nWo for a second, you know
what I mean. It's like they've got the Cowboys shirt
underneath their Panthers shirt. Oh my god, for at least
a week, they really rip that Panthers jersey. Oh that's
so crazy. It's just the random dynamic.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
All right.
Speaker 1 (54:18):

(55:26):
Tampa at the Chargers afternoon start, and you look at
the Chargers their home favorites here, just a standard line
still three point favorites shaded the juices on the on
Tampa minus a dollar fifteen plus the three. But how
about these Chargers, They've lost two of three. Is this
(55:48):
a get right spot for them? I don't know that
it is. Tampa is a tough team, feisty, very good
passing offense. This Chargers defense is for real. But the
question is what are you getting offensively? We're expecting to
see Lad mcconkee back. Herbert is a bit banged up.
The running game isn't the same without JK. Dobbins, So
(56:09):
this game looks to be heavily on Justin Herbert's shoulders,
and he's not one hundred percent right now. So losing
two of three, this is a big spot for the Chargers.
Got to get this game. I think it means more
to the Chargers than it does Tampa, although you know
Atlanta's right there in the NFC South pictures, so big
game for both it is.
Speaker 2 (56:32):
It's a big game from I have Chargers no playoffs
at like plus six hundred plus eight hundred, so it's
a it's a big, big wager for me. I took
a piece in a couple weeks ago. Yeah, you know,
I've been on Tampa a lot last month. They sort
of maybe shouldn't have covered last weekend against Oakland or whatever.
They're not Oakland anymore, ve guess shouldn't have covered, probably,
(56:54):
but they did end up covering pretty easily in that game.
Char lost to the Panthers and they beat the the
breaks off the Giants, and that's coming off of four wins,
four games against they lost against four playoff teams. Without
Mike Evans. They're a little bit healthier now. You know
some of the Chargers guys, I just I love Justin Herbert,
(57:19):
don't get me wrong, But in these sort of moments
where you sort of look and you think, of man,
we need our quarterback, it just doesn't happen in those moments.
You know, it just doesn't. It doesn't happen. Brian. I
don't know how to explain it. And of course he
needs better weapons around him. And when your weapons are
Will Disley and Lad McConkey, you're probably in a world
to hurt, which they are. The defense is really fabulous,
(57:40):
but I think if you look at Tampa Bay's offensive line,
the ability to run the football, control of line of
scrimmage gives him advantage in this game. I like Baker
Mayfield in this matchup with with with a Mike Evans
and and a Kate on Over the Chargers, and the
Chargers are losing games right now because I think they're
They're sort of talent level is starting to to show
(58:01):
itself against better teams. So we talked about all season.
They've beaten the Raiders, the Panthers, the Broncos, the Saints, Browns, Titans, Bengals.
Their losses are playoff teams, right, Steelers, Chiefs, maybe the Cardinals,
the Ravens and the Chiefs, And Brian, there should be
three losses in a row. That Falcons game had no
business winning whatsoever. So I would lean Tampa here, but
(58:21):
you know, you could have had three order this week. Crack.
Now it's two and a half. It feels like you
really can't play Tampa in this moment.
Speaker 4 (58:27):
Yeah, you know, I'm just looking here. I hate when
there's five games at later games.
Speaker 2 (58:32):
Really, everyone hates that there's ten early games most of
the time.
Speaker 4 (58:35):
You know, I know, but by that time that we're
unwinding from the show, I like to just watch my
one big game, which of course will be Buffalo Detroit.
But you know, this Tampa game actually sitting at like
Brian's aid plus three minus fifteen at bet MGM, we
should have a good one here, both teams fighting for
their playoff spots. Tampa coming off sloppy, went over the Raiders.
(58:56):
Chargers coming off that last second loss to the Chiefs.
The Bucks have now won three in a row. They
sit at the top of the NFC South just four
weeks to go. Unfortunately, they have major injury concerns on
defense and will have to adjust without them against Herbert
and the Chargers. The Chargers defense has been leading them
all season long, and I would expect them to try
(59:17):
to force Baker even to make some mistakes today. Chargers
d has been extremely good in the red zone too,
but their best defense has been with coach Carball is
doing with this run offense, controlling the clock, and he's
also time possession. I've seen that status like Wow, the winner.
This one makes the road to the playoffs that much easier.
Should be a competitive game, But the voice is on
(59:40):
the Chargers. That's what I need to know, because I
was already looking at Tampa a little bit. Voice on
the Chargers. I'm gonna have to take this very with
Tampa here.
Speaker 1 (59:49):
I'll throw one other game at you here real fast.
How about Washington at the Saints. This is just an
ugly one, man. You got the Saints there, seven and
a half point home underdogs. We're expecting Jake Hayner for
the Saints. Derek Carr got banged up last week. The Giants. Yeah,
Jake Hayner out of Fresno's that's right, And uh, I
(01:00:14):
don't know, man, it's anything. Here's the question, is there
anything interesting about this game? That's a legitimate question here.
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
I think like washing off of buye and sort of
as they make a push to the postseason, like how
they look off that buy Otherwise, there's nothing in the
camp for the Saints that's that's interesting at all in
this game.
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
By the way, last time we saw the Commanders, they
rushed for two hundred and fifty seven yards against the Titans.
Two with fifty seven in an NFL game. That's insane.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
Yeah, So, I mean, there's there's nothing about this game
other than everyone's on the Commander. It's gonna Saint's cover
of the seven half. Maybe that Jake Hayner like Fresno State,
like Wild Pac twelve Mountain West ending in this game,
you know, like lead them down the field for a
late cover. But the Commanders defense, guys, is not great.
I mean there's a I guess the thought maybe that
(01:01:07):
you ball control this thing. The Saints coach, by the way,
is a psycho yelling as puncher like that last week.
That was crazy. Person guys. The Saints barely covered against
the We did not cover against the Giants last weekend.
I mean, who lost if I don't watch a second
of this game? Uh, what's our wager right now, Brian?
(01:01:28):
Who do I need to win this game?
Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
Well? Yeah, I've got the Saints, You've got the Panthers.
I've got a two game lead on you. So listen,
you tighten the gap. If the Saints lose this one, obviously,
Panthers if they beat the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
We have anyone games left between these two.
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Teams, you've had to head. No, yeah, how do.
Speaker 2 (01:01:44):
You break a tiebreaker? Will call it even?
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
I guess, Yeah, I don't. It's just a push. I
guess yeah, you guys.
Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Both of you guys seem to know more about this
guy hater too. I'll be honest, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Much about president of state. Baby.
Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
Yeah, you seem to know. But listen, getting seven and
a half at home, the odds maker definitely don't think
too highly of them. So and you see them a
Christian said Christian Christians begging them with both hands for
New Orleans one of the biggest risk of the week. Amazingly,
people laying the points on the road there seven points
at the time out seven and a half, Washington coming
(01:02:21):
off a much need to buy and they're gonna have
x Saint by the way, a Lottimore suiting up for
the first time homecoming game for him. Commanders really need
this game to keep pace in the NFC Wildcard race.
The Saints, I guess they're just would you call it
rebuilding mode? I mean, all five of the wins this
season are losing records.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
They're smarter than everyone else. The solar cap doesn't matter
at all for them, so they just can keep pushing
this stuff out of the future. One bit of news
I just saw for an active list, which I'm sure
Isaaca will cover a secondor the joke you out for
the Browns and the Chiefs have a lot of trouble
covering tight ends. This is. It feels like another sort
of notch in the Chiefs direction here if you think
(01:03:03):
about taking the Chiefs of this game.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
No great note right there, absolutely and with that we
go from your great note to more great notes with
Isaac Lowen Kron. Goodness, it's a notes fest over here.
I love what is going on, buddy notes for no.
Speaker 7 (01:03:18):
And we start, of course with a very busy morning
already in the National Football League. As morning, the Washington
Commanders added center Tyler Biadish to their injury report for
today's game at New Orleans. He is officially questionable for
the game due to illness. Just checking to see if
the Commanders inactives are out. They have just come out
(01:03:39):
moments ago, and Beaddish is indeed inactive. The Houston Texans
announced that tight end Cage Stover underwent emergency appendectomy surgery
last night. He is expected to make a full recovery. Obviously,
he is not going to play today against the Miami Dolphins.
The ESPN reports said candidates for the New York Jets'
(01:04:00):
general manager position are expected to include former Tennessee Titans
GM John Robinson and former Washington and Philadelphia Director of
Player Personnel Lewis Riddick. The Jets meanwhile ruled out tight
end Tyler Conklin for their game at Jacksonville today due
to personal reasons. Running Back Brace Hall is active for
(01:04:21):
the contest. Meanwhile, for the Tennessee Titans, running back Tony
Pollard is active for their game today against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is inactive for their
game today against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a
hamstring injury. Finally, we have an NFL plane banner updates now.
(01:04:45):
At last week's Giants Saints game, someone hired a plane
to fly over at MetLife Stadium with a banner reading quote,
mister Marra enough, please fix this dumpster fire unquote. Well today, hey,
with the Giants hosting the Baltimore Ravens, someone has once
again hired a plane to fly over MetLife Stadium. Today's
(01:05:07):
banner reads and again I quote, mister mara enough, we
won't stop until you fire everyone unquote that your New
York Giants plane banner update back to you.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Thank you. I low appreciate that man. Good stuff. It
is Fox Sports Radios count Down to Kickoff, presented by
BETMGM all season long. Betmgm's offering you a second chance
on your first touchdown bet in the NFL. When a
customer places an NFL wager on a first touchdown scorer
bet and he doesn't score first, but score second, BETMGM
will return one hundred percent of their stakeback in cash.
(01:05:44):
All right, let's do this, let's go rushing.
Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Let's second in your chance score.
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
This might be our last opportunity.
Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
Mare.
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
All right, we're talking touchdowns over here, crack. We're looking
for a first touchdown score. That's best case scenario. We
win piles of cash hopefully. Worst case is they score
a second instead and we get our money back. Who
do you have circled today?
Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
Let's go to the high scoring game, supposed only the
Bills Lions game. Let's go with David Montgomery plus four
seventy five, get your money back we scores a second one.
Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
That's literally literally what I have written down. Oh sorry, no, no,
you're fine, it's good, no problem with that. But I
like that bet.
Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense with maybe the
way that the game was going to go. Yea, I
should probably take both lines running backs and make some money, right,
I mean they're they're they're partly interesting, right. I mean,
if you think they're going to rush the ball in
right for a touchdown, you might take both. Is that
is that part of the you take both those part
of the.
Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
Games plus five twenty Uh, I'm looking at the yeah, right,
interesting interesting. Yeah. So in other words, dud, you're getting
back plus money on both of them and hopefully you
get one too and get your money back.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
I'm looking at Chuba Hubbard plus three seventy five for
the Panthers. Here, we don't care what run defense is
not good. I think Tuba has a pretty decent day today,
So give me Chew one hundred plus three seventy five.
The other one that I think is sort of interesting,
I don't I'm probably not gonna do it. But the
game we haven't talked about. I'm not even sure we're
gonna touch here. I could see, like in Anthony Richardson
(01:07:17):
plus nine hundred in Denver near the goal line, near
the red zone, using that big body, some fun plays
after off a bi correct. If I'm right on that
the Colts have some fun things drawn up for Richardson,
I could possibly see that the problem is the second
touchdown in this one, Like this is a good first
touchdown of wager, but I'm not sure gets a second touchdown.
But richard and plus nine hundred for a long shot
(01:07:37):
seems seems interesting to me.
Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
Yeah, I don't. Yeah, I like what you're thinking right there.
My play was the same as Cracks. I would go
David Montgomery. It's almost five to one, and I get
it in the Lions hosting the Bills game. A lot
of touchdown scorer candidates in that game, right, So I
get why it's close to five to one, But you
see David Mitt get a lot of work on that
(01:08:02):
first series and if it gets close to the goal line,
he's your guy. So I like that one. If I
had to go in a different direction, I kind of
like Josh Jacobs tonight the Packers running back on the
road at the Seahawks. Seahawks rush defense isn't fantastic, And man,
Josh Jacobs broke our heart last Thursday right where he
(01:08:24):
was just a couple of yards shy against the Lions.
So I think that Josh Jacob's gonna get a ton
of carries. I think his carries props around eighteen and
a half. So I think that's a decent wager right there.
It's what plus four fifties, so almost five to one
for Josh Jacobs as well. Pretty interesting what Ilo said.
(01:08:44):
You touched on this briefly, Jeff, No, David and Joku
Brown's tight end and so, man, you think about this,
Brown's probably not gonna be able to run the ball.
They can't run it to begin with and the Chiefs
do a great job stopping the rush. Now, no, David
and Joku in the past game, it's gonna be a
steady diet of Jerry Judy Elijah Moore. Yeah, and that's
(01:09:08):
that's your offense. Jamis tucking it and running it maybe
three times. Like, I just don't know how the Browns
are going to score points in this one. Maybe a
team total over Also, it makes some sense, I think under,
I think it under makes some sense, and this.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Does make some sense. I don't I don't know how
they're gonna score either, Brian. I think it's a huge problem.
Speaker 4 (01:09:27):
Totals come way down this game open up forty four
down to forty and a half forty one.
Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
So also, I mean I would imagine the wind plays
a role in that too. I mean, it's gonna be windy,
they say, And so I can imagine there's a concern
about the reign of the wind. And I think the
Chiefs again, like, are they going to try to win
this game by a lot of points? Right? I mean,
Jamis discussion can certainly help us, because Jamis helps a
lot of teams score a lot of points on his own,
(01:09:53):
But how much motivation is there for the Browns in
this game. I just think that that everything's looking sort
of up to the Chiefs possibly covering for once, possibly
covering for once.
Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
Yeah, possibly. Yeah, it's one of those You mentioned this though, Jeff,
and you two crack. I think the Chiefs are the
ultimate in game fade because you're right, they've consistently gotten
off to good starts. Last week against the Chargers, they're
up thirteen to nothing at half time. They just like
fall asleep from the island the game and the other
team catches back up. It's a two point game at
(01:10:24):
the end when you look. So if you get the
Chiefs up by a good amount they're up whatever, fourteen
to three or something like that, absolutely look to getting
points on the other side.
Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
Cause you'll get you'll get a north of I mean,
you might even get three touchdowns. If at some point
the Chiefs are up ten points in this game or
or thirteen points of this game. Absolutely, yeah. It just
the Chiefs just again like they just sort of are
very nonchalant when it comes to finishing, not finishing games.
They finish games is fine, but sort of just put
(01:10:56):
a team out of their misery. They'll do that very often,
Oh they don't.
Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
Instead of like stepping onto your throat, they help you up.
Come on, buddy, let's let's get a fight. Let's get
a thrilling finish at the end. Huh.
Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
I don't get it, man, Like I guess the Patriots
never did this right with Tom Brady, they just didn't
sort of skate by.
Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
You know, they've won fifteen they've won fifteen games in
a row by one score, right, they won fifteen. That's
fifteen to one score games they've won. I think that's
in the right number, because they've won some games that
more than that, right, And you would think there's regression, right,
But I don't think there's a regression, candidate. I think
they're just doing this because again it's it's not like
(01:11:39):
they've won these games by coming from behind, which they
certainly have, or just struggle all games, like they just
kind of have a drive in the fourth quarter. They've
been winning by double digits in these games and they
just end up being a field goal. That's not something
I think that you just automatically fade. Come the postings,
the Vikings two years ago right there with the eleven zero
one score games like by three, they weren't winning the
entire game, you feel going to win, Chiefs up sixteen, three,
(01:12:01):
thirteen to nothing, twenty to six, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:12:04):
Yeah yet at bet MGM, you can get better odds
on the Eagles to win the big game, the Super
Bowl than the Chiefs. I always find that amazing. I
think the Eagles are playing much better than the Chiefs
right now, even though the Chiefs are. They're winning, I mean,
they're finding ways to win.
Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
But yeah, Eagles.
Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
Plus five to one, Chiefs plus four and a half
to win at MGM, and and the Lions plus two sixty.
I could never take that. I could never take plus
two sixty on anybody, especially this year.
Speaker 1 (01:12:31):
So yeah, now I hear it though, like if you
play this out come playoff time crack. If you look
at the Chiefs like they might fall asleep against.
Speaker 5 (01:12:41):
The Chargers, They're.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
Not doing that in the playoffs. It's not like they're
up by right right seven against the Bills and they
just fell asleep in the third quarter. Like that's just
not gonna happen come playoff times.
Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
No, which is why again I think that you have
to basically throw everything you know about football with the Chiefs,
which sounds silly to say, but that's the way I
look at it right now, is like, you know, we
would say all these things about teams like the Chiefs
in the past, but I mean, you just can't say
that right now because the Chiefs just do things differently
and it continues to work for them.
Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Yeah, it does. They find ways to win. That's the
biggest goal right there. Twelve and one, they're the most
disrespected twelve and one team ever. There can't be one
that's more.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
And expectation. Look, I get it because we look through
the lens of expectations for them, which are different than
other teams, and so I see people are the worst
twelve and one team ever. Okay, I guess, but the
still Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelcey and when the games
matter the most, they're winning them.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
That's right, all right. We've got Bill Krackenberger from Crackwings

Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
Prop it up player plays.
Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
Oh yes, the prop bet market crack. We start with you.
What's something you like.
Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
Let's go to the Patriots games. Stevenson under fifteen and
a half. Listen, they've talked about using the backup more,
and that's what I go by. Go buy a lot
of the talk that's going on, especially once maybe some
people are complaining they're getting a play. Let's start out
with that one Stevenson under his rushing yards.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Okay, all right, So one thing I love to do
is I like to take to go to the wide
receivers and take their overs because I think that I
don't think, I know. We saw this pickings this year
Marvin Harrison Junior. It's in all season long. When the
wide receiver's upset mylik neighbors, the way to make them
not upset is again the football. Okay, Yeah, So AJ
(01:15:40):
Brown's over five and a half. It's minus one twenty hour.
And this was plus money earlier this week it was
plus money. I have a plus money ticket on this.
But AJ run over five and a half receptions. He
might have three in the first drive. They're going to
relentlessly give him the football in this game. So AJ
run over five and a half receptions for uh, you know,
(01:16:00):
for for the watch McCall today, whoever they are, the Eagles, Eels.
I like to watch the McCall it's over. And then yeah,
I think mylik neighbors will be over sixty four and
a half yards today for the Giants as they have
to come back in this game. We had the Giants
we Molie neighbors under. I mean it was last weekend.
(01:16:23):
He had like fifty yards the final driver of the
game this gun. It didn't even matter if they lost anyway.
So I think the Milie neighbor is over. Maybe I'm
just in my fields from last weekend is a way
to go in this in this game, So giants over
sixty four and a half from leak.
Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
Labors, how about get what about a little Tommy Cutlet's over? Jeff,
can you bring yourself to it?
Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Worst, I know, I know, I am.
Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
You guys know this. I am generally the opinion I
take these quarterbacks under more often than you will ever
take it over. And so that kind of breaks my
prince blad can't I can't see THOSELF rooting for Tommy DeVito.
Speaker 4 (01:16:59):
I don't blame the voice is rooting for him over
rushing yards, but you know you.
Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
Can't wait over rushing over rushing yard what's the person's
name who rushing yards for Tommy DeVito. What kind of
wager is that.
Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with up.
Speaker 1 (01:17:16):
It's a little bit correlated with your pick, Jeff. I'm
gonna take Jalen Hurts over sixteen and a half completions.
It's minus dollar twenty five.
Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
Definitely correlated.
Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
It's just way too low, way too low. That's like
Jake Han Anthony Richardson territory to get seventeen completions today,
and look, Saquon runs a lot, He's been special this year.
Jalen Hurts runs a lot. I get it. But Pittsburgh
has the number four ranked rush defense in the NFL.
(01:17:46):
So it's not like the Eagles are just gonna go
Army or Navy and run it right like they're gonna
be throwing the ball. I agree with you. I think
a J. Brown gets a bunch of catches. So if
you play this out, what's aj Gittt six seven catches today?
Something like that? DeVante Smith gets four, and we just
sprinkled around. We get Calcataro, we get se Quon, we
(01:18:08):
get Kenneth gain Well. I think he gets the seventeen
completions in this spot. It's so low. I don't think
that is low it's really low, really low, and it's
going to be a competitive game. I don't think that
the Eagles are in cruise control late and just so yeah,
give me over sixteen and a half completions for Hurtz.
I just think that's way too low. I don't think
(01:18:30):
he's upper echelon by any stretch. I think he's left
a lot to be desired this season. That's why AJ
Brown's losing his mind, because because Jalen's not playing well,
but seventeen completions in the NFL for him, he's in
the spot.
Speaker 6 (01:18:45):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Yeah, this spot, I like it.
Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
Okay, this just took a point to what I said
that when I give up my propou complaining. So he's complaining.
So uh, you know, I like Jeff playto and your
correlated one. This is a good one, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:19:01):
All Right, We'll get to that correlated game with complaining
receivers that's coming up next. Stay with us. Welcome in
Happy Week fifteen to you. Less than an hour away
from kickoff, we are fired up for one of the
biggest games of the day, Eagles hosting the Steelers, Philly
(01:19:22):
favored by five and a half. This is an afternoon
game late afternoon on the East Coast. And first thing first,
it's the AJ Brown drama of the week, right, Like,
AJ Brown was upset not breaking news, not getting the
balls as often as he would like Brandon Graham, who
was an Eagles player. He's hurt. But he went on
(01:19:44):
a Philly radio show and said, hey, you know, the
quarterback and the wide receiver they used to be friends.
Not as much anymore. And then it just led to
a whole week of who hates who and what's going
on here? And listen, I get why AJ Brown is upset.
Jalen Hurd, it's got to pick up his play. He's
just a mediocre quarterback this season. He's missing reads, he's
(01:20:05):
missing throws, and you see AJ Brown's frustration. I get it.
This Eagles passing offense is thirty first in the NFL
in terms of yards per game. Only the Patriots average
less yardage passing less passing yardage per game than the Eagles.
That's what the talent the Eagles have. They're passing it
(01:20:25):
and with a rushing attack like they had, the passing
game should be much healthier than it is. But it's not.
And I understand why Aj Brown is so frustrated right now.
Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
I was surprised that Brandon Graham made like an unforced
error of air and then in the radio.
Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
I mean, he is a fifteen year NFL player, totally.
Speaker 6 (01:20:44):
I was.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
It shocked me that he went that. He said that
on the radio. I was, I was stunned. But maybe
it is that bad. I okay, I told you all
A J. Brown over receptions. It does worry me that
we basic had two straight seasons of drama with Philly
as they're winning. Last year ten and one took a
nose dive if we heard afterwards all the things that
were happening behind the scenes. This year, they're again, They're
(01:21:06):
playing great, great ball. All of a sudden, A J.
Brown's pissed. And I think Jaalen Hurts is the godfather
to his son, like they're very very close or god
uncle something like that, and the noise really worries me
about that. I will be honest about that. But I
just the Steelers are are my blind spot this year.
Speaker 6 (01:21:28):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
I don't I don't, I don't know. I don't know
how to look they play. They're at Philly and at
Baltimore two straight weeks, and then the host of Chiefs.
So we'll know a lot more in three weeks about Pittsburgh.
But it does feel like and I am certainly in
this boat, Mike tom and as a dog, just do it.
(01:21:52):
Take him as a dog, just do it. Yeah, And
I don't disagree with that. The problem is the voice
is on the same side as me and this one,
and so I feel really bad about that. But I
have Steelers plus what do I have? I met plus
five and a half crack. It's mostly like Eagles passing
game is struggling. I don't like the vibe. And the
(01:22:16):
vibe in Pittsburgh is immaculate, man. I mean we might
disagree on of course, like how they're doing it or
the viability of this in the postseason, but they just
played tomball Man, and Tom Oball wins him a lot
of football games, keeps them close, a lot of football games.
Speaker 4 (01:22:32):
You know, I'm gonna use a line here again we
go to the voice again. I'm gonna use a line
that was used. Boy, I tell you, I started betting
sports when I was so young. We used to get
those parlay cards when I was nine years old. You're
talking to the mid seventies, late seventies. I used to
see the lines from the New York Daily News and
I remember telling my dad, I'm like eleven years old.
(01:22:55):
I was like, Oh, I like this line. Can I
get five bucks on that game? Plus six and a
half and of course plus seven? And then of course
you know the bookmaker would say six and a half.
You know, I said, well, it's seven in the New
York Daily News and what do they say, Well, bet
with the paper. Then that's that was the line that
was used back then. So anyone that grew up in
(01:23:16):
the in the seventies has to love this game today
though the battle for Pennsylvania in Philadelphia today, both these
teams been riding hot. The Steelers have someone won seven
in their last eight games. I'm with Jeff totally blindside
him in this team. I think now tough part of
the schedule, they're still winning. So Eagles riding a nine
game winning stream after and not so pretty twenty two
(01:23:36):
to sixteen win over the Panthers last week, probably should
have even lost the game if that last catch would
have happened. There they think they're over they might have
been overlooking it, or you know, maybe the Panthers are
that much improved. I doubt it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:49):
I'm still not.
Speaker 4 (01:23:50):
Believing in the Steelers though. I'm sorry, even at ten
and three, But if they knock off the Eagles today,
then then maybe they're They're really our championship caliber. They're
fourth best rushing defense in the NFL, but today is
easily their biggest test. Barkley and the Eagles running game
have dominated these last two months, Barkley even getting some
MVP talk now. So the big over under this game
(01:24:12):
is how many fights will break out in the stadium.
You guys know what I think about the Eagles over there.
This is one I definitely will like to watch, though,
but you couldn't pay me enough to actually be there.
This is wow, this is this is a crazy one.
Like I'll tell you what, I would love to see
the Pittsburgh Steelers section. Just keep a camera on those
guys with the with the Steelers jerseys on in the stadium.
Speaker 1 (01:24:35):
So well, the thing is, I think it's interesting. And
Jeff started to talk about this is how both teams
operate with the Eagles, and again they're eleven and two
and it's been a week of drama. Yeah, how does
that happen in lane? Yeah? Look at both teams. Where
think about George Pickens, who's out again, and that hurts
(01:24:56):
the Steelers a lot. But George Pickens, he's done some
immature things. He's gotten a couple of penalties, and what
do you hear Mike Tomlin it publicly in the media
like he's got to grow up. We can't tolerate stuff
like that. Do you see Nick Sirianni saying anything like
that with Aj Brown? It's like we're eleven and two
and you're publicly pissed you're not getting the ball. Really like,
(01:25:20):
Nick Sirianni just doesn't bring what Mike Tomlin brings in
terms of cutting out a necessary drama. And that's a
thing with the Eagles. It's hard enough to win in
the NFL. You can't go against yourself, and it feels
like the Eagles at times are battling themselves. And I
get AJ Brown's frustration. He just doesn't handle it well.
(01:25:40):
And the team doesn't handle him not handling it well either.
They just add to it instead of decreasing it. This
would never happen with the Chiefs. This would never happen
with the Steelers. This would never happen with a handful
of teams that don't create unnecessary drama like this, And
it's just been a consistent thing with the Eagles. I mean,
(01:26:01):
you go back to Antonio Brown would be a good
comparison when he was with the Steelers, and he created
a lot of headlines and a lot of distractions, and
the Steelers I think did a pretty good job of
decreasing that. Uh they would he'd be an active for
a game, right like, they wouldn't let him just carry
on carry on. The Eagles, I just think they contribute
(01:26:24):
to unnecessary drama and that's just not smart. That's eventually
gonna catch up with you.
Speaker 2 (01:26:29):
It's because their head coach is immature. And when your
head coach is immature, you take on the image of
you typically your coach, right, and I think their head
coach is pretty immature. I mean's arguing with fans and
multiple stadiums and saying odd things of the podium and
and your coach immature. You need basically be policed by players.
(01:26:49):
And luckily for them they do have those veteran players,
especially an offensive if it's a line, they can police
the locker room. But you're right, I mean, look look
at last year, man, I go about this a lot,
and the Chiefs maybe not the best theam for any
of this stuff at all times. But remember when MVS
was dropping all those passes last season, it's Narius Tonian.
Not once did Patrick Mahomes any regop to the podium
and blame them. Not one time. Mahomes one said, MVS
(01:27:13):
dropped that ball against the Packers that would have won.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
The better pass.
Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
Yeah, to be a better pass, could be a better pass.
And guess what, you know what happened in the playoffs,
MVS call the passes. So I think that's a good
example of just a well run lock room. Yeah, and
to your appointment, the Philly it continues to sort of
have these leaks and have these stories out because I
think they're head coach is not mature. It's immature. Yeah,
(01:27:38):
and you get an immature team when that happens, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:27:40):
Let me throw another game at your colts at the
Broncos crack. We got some line movement here. Broncos now
minus four and a half.
Speaker 4 (01:27:48):
Yeah, we're five to five and a half, down to
four and a half total of actually some over money
up to forty four. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
Interesting yeah, Yeah, Indy thirty first in defense, and it's
been weird, right, it's been running back by committee there
with Denver. They're like the Patriots when you never knew
who was going to get the ball with belt. That's
just what they run. They ride the hot hand. Could
be estimate today, could be McLoughlin, could be Williams, who knows,
(01:28:17):
but whoever shows up starts starts running, well, they just
ride him. So we'll see how successful successful their running
game is. And listen, bo Nicks. It's been high percentage stuff,
but he's he's completed a lot of passes, moving the chains.
Good defense, They've had a good formulas here. It's it's
not a mystery why they're eight and five right now.
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
Isn't a knock on the Colts defense to just how
how vanilla it is, right Brian, and I can't a
Rooie quarterback. I mean, that doesn't feel great to have
vanilla vanilla defense. You know, like you want to be
able to try to find a way to confuse and
and and uh and and distract and eye violations all
(01:28:59):
these but it doesn't feel like that's the case right
now with the Colts. This is this is corrarect this.
I think I'm right here. This is a short player
in the week, right, A lot of a lot of
people are on the cults here. Plus the number early
in the week, yes, five and a half. Obviously it's
moved now a little bit. I was kind of curious
by that. I mean, I trust, I trust your your
numbers and whatnot, but I just don't know what the
(01:29:19):
Colts are sometimes Richardson, You just don't. The variance on
him is so up and down. I mean there are
weeks when he looks incredible, in other weeks he doesn't.
And I just never know which which week it's going
to be that he is. He's that player, you know, Yeah,
you know, this.
Speaker 4 (01:29:34):
Is really the I think it's such a big game
for the Colts if they're thinking anything about playoffs six
and seven. Yeah, this is to keep their season alive.
I've actually seen something a playoff predictor this week that
has the Colts playoff chances that's sixty eight percent with
a win this week and down to ten percent with
(01:29:56):
a loss. I've seen these playoff predictors recently, and I
kind of I looked at them a little bit. I
hope there. I actually looked into the source a little bit,
so RS. I wouldn't even be mentioning it though, So
that's interesting that they'll be at sixty eight percent would
win just being in seven and seven.
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
But which player predictors at the All States also player
predictor at ESPN dot com. That's kind of silly. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
Denver currently projected playoffs at eight and five, of course,
and they've been one of the big surprise teams this season.
Nicks holding his own for sure. Defense also has holding
held their own too, So Colts quarterback Richardson will have
his hands full this week with it with an excellent
Broncos secondary interesting game.
Speaker 6 (01:30:42):
One.
Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
I probably won't be really be watching the game, but
neither one would surprise me. The Colts play pretty hard.
I didn't think Denver was as good as their record is,
so maybe maybe I'm wrong, Maybe I'm wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
I see those teams that I think all of us
have been a little behind on that they're I mean,
they're off the team and they're winning. They're winning a
lot of games right now. They're playing the football they're
both is off of bye by the way, so the
playoff predictor crack is uh is not great. The same
company that comes to you with someone who wins their
(01:31:13):
best bets.
Speaker 4 (01:31:14):
So, oh yeah, there's someone on ESPN. I think we
showed earlier in the week winning like sixty eight percent.
I think it's time to fade that person too.
Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
So you can't find the bets though, it's a lot
harder to do that.
Speaker 4 (01:31:24):
It's harder to find the bets.
Speaker 2 (01:31:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:31:26):
So and by the way, like I said earlier about
like betting with the newspaper, I said that because like
the voice gets these lines like six on the Steelers,
where'd you find that at? Like I just it's sometimes
if you get their choose. Now, listen, someone like myself
with lots of outs. You know, I have a dozen
sports books here in Vegas. I you know, I travel,
I have lots of sports books. That's different. But you
(01:31:48):
can't tell me that an influencer gets to choose where
they're betting. I mean, come on, we use bet MGM
lines here for the show of course, the big sponsor here.
So but you can't tell me you're an influencer and
you want to tell me that you got a six
somewhere there was like I didn't see any sixes on
this game? Are you using the Barroccos sportsbook in the
(01:32:12):
South Bronx.
Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
I mean, come on, I break one of my favorite
two is last week, not to get an influencer train,
but someone put out a video for the Cowboys Bengals
game and had a line that was six hours stale.
I mean it was a full point difference. It was
like Cowboys getting an extra point comparayed to what the
(01:32:34):
number was at the current time. I don't know how
you have the conscious to do that, to put out
a number, now, you know. Sometimes I get my gambling
picks on Fridays for college football. I will share wagers
that I have already previously given out, like in the documents.
So I'll say, like, these are two wager I gave
out a Wednesday on my podcast, mostly to promote my podcast,
but they're actually out there like in the universe. Already said,
(01:32:55):
So the number is worse, and this thing I'll do.
I'll be honest about sometimes the numbers better, it's worse.
On Friday, I just give out what I've already given out.
But to give out stale numbers, yeah, six is not
We're sixpin crack all week on sale. Come on, we're
six men all week. Just no six a week right
on this game.
Speaker 4 (01:33:11):
So and a lot of the lines though, you know
they put out you know a lot of influencers do
this though. It's just, uh, don't get me involved again.
I'll start going crazy again on these influencers. They just
they just they just bury everybody too. But you know,
you know, make their record look like it's better than
it is. Right, I want to know if half of
them even bet. They don't even bet, but put some
(01:33:33):
money up, anything, ten grocery dollars something.
Speaker 1 (01:33:35):
By the way, just tell me crack. You're talking about
the Colts and the playoff chances. Listen, if they win
this game, they're a game back of the Broncos for
that final playoff spot. And listen to this what the
Colts would have left on the schedule. Titans at the
Giants host the Jags.
Speaker 4 (01:33:55):
Jesus, that's why. That's why it's sixty eight percent. If
they win.
Speaker 1 (01:33:58):
Yeah, so big game them on the road against Denver.
If they could somehow pull an up set, Yeah, all
of a sudden, their playoff chances are alive. They're pretty
much dead if they lose this game. So huge game
for the Colts. Absolutely, all right, We've got Bill Krackenberger
from crackwins dot com. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.
(01:34:18):
I'm Brian Nell coming up next man. This team had

they run it back again this evening? It is Fox

(01:35:04):
All Right, Sunday Night Football Packers at the Seahawks And
how about the running game from Zach Sharbonay in the
Seahawks last week against Arizona. He went crazy also in
the passing game, Zach Scharbonay was just all over the field.
You look at the Seahawks, Kenneth Walker banged up the
(01:35:25):
twenty seventh best rushing attack in the league. So Seattle
having a run game last week was huge. See what
they do against the Packers tonight, and I would expect
a decent dose of Josh Jacobs. I think there's gonna
be We're gonna get some offense in this game. Both
passing attacks are good Charbonay last week and then Josh
(01:35:49):
Jacobs throughout the entire season. Both teams can move the
ball so and the total has been ticking down just slightly.
So it's kind of interesting movement right there. But what
are your thoughts on this one, Jeff? As you start
to look at Packers scene.
Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
Seunds interesting, right. I think we said last weekend hitting
that game, they'd won the previous two games with pick
six's right. They ran a pick six against Arizona, then
ninety five yard pick sticks by Leonard Williams against the Jets,
and and they went out and just sort of kicked
Arizona's butt last week in Arizona's backsliding, but Seattle went
out there to your point where I like physically took
it to them. Dad not played well at home this season,
(01:36:30):
but I do like to back Seattle a lot of
times at home getting points. It's a really hard place
to play. Also, I think everyone looks at Green Bay
and says, well, they lost the Lions, but I guess
to everyone else they've played it pretty well. They've also
won a lot of games by a couple of points,
so there's no specific matchup. I think I favored the
Seattle here, but I just like Seattle getting points at home.
(01:36:50):
They could throw the football, they come from behind in games.
They never played normal games, so it's kind of always
tough to stomach watching the Seattle Seahawks game. Guys, but crack,
I like Seattle here. Obviously, two and a half is
worse than it was most of the not most of
the week, but I think early in the week it
was three. So it's been taking to two and a
half since then.
Speaker 4 (01:37:07):
Yeah, Monday, I actually bet this game Monday, and this
is I find myself. This is either a fourth or
fifth week in a row I've actually bet Seattle and
they've been making me some money. Actually, I've done very
well betting them, and this is a spot for them.
It's you know, it's it's really it's a primetime matchup
that I'm looking forward to. Nine and four green Bay,
(01:37:29):
eight and five Seattle. These two teams, really this is
going to be a big game for both squads. It's
a little bit bigger for Seattle. I think they actually
may see each other in the playoffs again this year.
If the playoffs started today, Seattle with hoast Green Bay
in a wildcard game. Seattle now sits on top of
the NFC West four straight wins. Packers have been just
(01:37:52):
as hot, though winning three or the last four are
the only lost coming to a twelve and one Lion squad.
Both these teams have been moving the ball in the air.
The Packers d will be without some starters today in
the secondary. As we know, Love hasn't thrown an interception
his last three games, and when he's not making mistakes,
Green Bay is literally one of the best teams in
the NFL.
Speaker 1 (01:38:13):
So absolutely no doubt about that. It's the Packers are
crazy to be with. Just it's almost like the Broncos
running backs, like I don't know who's gonna show up
and have a good week.
Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:38:25):
The Packers receivers, the good luck figuring out who's gonna
do what on a week nothing. Yeah, against the Lions,
it's crazy. So I mean, maybe Reid has a good
game tonight. You could sell me on any of the guys, like, hey,
Watson's gonna have a good game, Okay, Romeo Dobbs is
(01:38:46):
gonna have a good game. Okay, you could sell me
on them doing nothing. Also, it's just musical receivers with
Green Bay. But it's a good problem to have. They
they have guys that are capable of being productive and
weekly you don't know who's gonna shine and who's going
to be a dut But does.
Speaker 2 (01:39:03):
That worry you though from the perspective of like must
have plays, go to plays, like needing someone to make
a big play for them. Absolutely, if the answer is
I don't know, we'll see it is a given week.
Speaker 1 (01:39:14):
That does worry me, though, Now I would rather have
a number one, top flight receiver. Whereas, Okay, Eagles big situation,
we're going to a J Brest Yes, Okay, like the
Packers big situation, we're going to who exactly right? So yeah,
maybe that's more of a regular season thing where they
have just good quality, they just don't have that one
(01:39:37):
rate receiver.
Speaker 2 (01:39:38):
It means to me that you are capable of of
just different ways. I think to me, it's different ways
to beat opponents, which is really good. Yeah, But like
on the road, it's like, man, we need to play.
It's like, well, do we go to Read or Watson
or like the tight ends. I that's we're only concerns.
But otherwise I like the idea of having many outs.
(01:39:58):
I certainly do.
Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
No, I hear you on that. Hey, we've got a
major out right here. His name is Isaac Lohenkron. You
know we're at a pinch. We need information both. I
love right the hot route, hot route, I low with play.
What's going on?
Speaker 7 (01:40:12):
I've got a veritable font of information from the NFL,
starting with Cleveland Brown's side end David Najoku. He's inactive
today against Kansas City because of a hamstring injury. Brown's placekicker,
Dustin Hopkins is a healthy scratch. That means Riley Patterson,
who was elevated from the practice squad yesterday, will kick
in his place. Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard is
(01:40:33):
active for their game against the Bengals. Washington Commander's center
Tyler Biadish is inactive for their game at New Orleans
because of illness. Houston Texans side end Cade Stover is
inactive for their game against the Dolphins after he underwent
emergency appendectomy surgery last night. He is expected to make
a full recovery. Dolphins offensive tackles Tron Armstead and Kenda
(01:40:54):
Lamb are both inactive. New York Jets running back Grease
Hall is active for their game at Jacksonville. Tight End
Tyler Conklin inactive because of personal reasons. The Arizona Cardinals
a short time ago added right tackle Jonah Williams to
their injury report due to illness. He is now questionable
for today's game against the Patriots. Finally, a short time ago,
(01:41:15):
on Thop's NFL Sunday, Jay Glazer had some new details
on what happened Thursday night when forty nine Ers linebacker
Devondre Campbell refused to enter the game against the Rams.
Speaker 8 (01:41:26):
They started seeing about the second quarter he's refusing to
go in for John Lynch actually went down there in
the fourth quarter and confronted him on and said, you
don't want to go on the guy?
Speaker 2 (01:41:35):
Your refuse it? Yes, so is Lynch who sent him
in the locker room.
Speaker 8 (01:41:38):
By the way, I got players who called me after
and said, hey, we've heard you talk about this alter ego, John.
Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
Lynch's forty seven red character.
Speaker 4 (01:41:45):
Man, we saw it.
Speaker 2 (01:41:46):
That dude is crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:41:48):
Oh to be a fly on the wall for that
conversation back to you.
Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
Oh, Man, he's.
Speaker 1 (01:41:53):
One of the hardest hitters in NFL history, John Lynch.
Can you imagine someone saying John Devon Trees said, going
in the game, his eyes must have turned beat red.
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
I've had that situation. What happened to me before a
little bit different. So a twenty twelve with the Vikings,
I was rotating with the right guard starting right guard. Okay,
it's coming off injury, and the rotation went like this,
all right, it was he got two drives. I got
one drive, but he started the second half of every game.
(01:42:28):
So I got two drives a game. All right, that's
not ideal for an offensive linement. I got. I got
one drive of the second quarter and typically the first
drive of the fourth quarter. The way I ended up
working out not great. And after a while I was like,
offensive line coach, this is stupid. Can I can we
stop doing this please? I mean, I was actually looking
at my at my stapcount the other day because I
saw someone I had reached ten thousand stapcounts. I just
(01:42:52):
want to look at my I mean, I had games
that year where I get fifteen STAPs, which is is nothing.
Form off. You can't do anything his offensil linment with
fifty STAPs. So now every week, though I was the backup,
was ready to play backup right tackle. I was the
backup right guard, left guard, like I was ready to
go and play it be a backup and sort of
start again someone got hurt or play a full game.
So week sixteen, we're in Houston, and at this point
(01:43:15):
of the year we were doing well, but I was
sort of over it. I just was over the whole thing.
In Minnesota, it wasn't going well. I wasn't playing. If
I did play, it was fifteen nineteen STAPs a game,
which is nothing. My offensive line coach told me to
suck it up, basically like you're a veteran, you figure
it out. It was so bad. So we're playing the
Texans and I for gets to put me in the
game in the first half. All right, So I mean,
(01:43:38):
I can't be like, coach, put me in. He's putting
me in. He done, won't put me in. Whatever. So
third quarter rolls around, after halftime, he goes, hey, man,
I forgot to put you in. Do you want to
go in the fourth quarter like usual? And I was like, no,
why would I go in the fourth quarter for one drive?
Like what's the purpose of that? All you're doing is
setting up for failure? And he's like okay, and then
(01:43:58):
he didn't play the rest of the season. Lots of rise.
So I understand a linebacker player saying that to a coach. However,
this is not the same situation exactly, because if someone
was hurt, I would have gone in, no questions asked.
I would have just been like, cool, I'm up, I'm up.
I mean I did that for half of my career.
Speaker 1 (01:44:17):
It's not fun.
Speaker 2 (01:44:18):
I mean, look, it's not fun to go in the
middle of a game cold as can be. But that's
your job, Like, that's what you're paid to do. I
did it seven times in my career. You just go
in and you figure out a way to play football
in the middle of a third quarter. When someone gets hurt,
that was not so so I get the thought of, like,
screw this team, I don't want to play anymore. Also,
he had been starting. I wasn't starting. I had not
(01:44:40):
been starting at that point. So I again I get
the mindset of, like, screw this team, I don't want
to play anymore. But it's not the same thing, of course,
right or yeah, he has to he has to go
in if someone if Greenlaw gets hurt, which is what happened,
he has to go in. And also a couple of
things like we were winning by multiple touchdowns in that game,
they were losing, like they need him to play. So
(01:45:01):
there's so many different things. So my point is, like
I get the mindset of of that idea of screw
you guys, I'm not going to play. Our situations were
fastly different, though.
Speaker 1 (01:45:11):
Yeah, it's that's the thing man is now he's branded
as a bad teammate. He's the guy who quit on
his team. Because, like what you're saying, it wasn't a question.
It's not like the coaching staff said, hey, Devon Dre
d Winters, he could use a breather, would you like
to go win? It was like d is hurt, Drake
Greenlaw is banged up, right, We need you, and he's like, yeah, no,
(01:45:34):
I'm good kick rocks because I was playing ninety percent
of the snaps until dra came back, and now you
need me? No thanks, But he not know?
Speaker 4 (01:45:43):
How does he not know that?
Speaker 2 (01:45:44):
Though? Like this is the thing is, like you know
you're in the game for a specific reason, and that
specific reason is is he's hurt, like he was hurt right, Well,
I don't know, man, No, it's terrible. He can't do that.
And a different team I was on, I had situation
where I was the backup and I was spot starting
for guys that when they got hurt, and I get it, man,
(01:46:06):
it's it's not fun when they come take your job
back from you. When either are like, okay, well the
starter's back, you're out right, I get it, man, Like
you worked hard. I don't know if he's playing well
or not. I don't it. I don't study the diners
back of whyback sraituation. But part of being a pro
is understanding when it's your number when it's someone else's number,
knowing you know when they need you when they don't
(01:46:27):
need you. And so I don't know how he he
doesn't put the rest of it. He can be suspended.
I think they don't have to do anything about it now,
but I would imagine he gets suspended.
Speaker 1 (01:46:36):
All right, So real fast college football, Okay, we want
to bring it back to the NFL. We will so
super fast. If you look at these matchups Friday night,
all these games, these first round games will be done
by time we hit the air on Sunday. Yes, okay,
So what are we going to be talking about?
Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
Crack?
Speaker 1 (01:46:51):
We're good to talk about a Notre Dame huge victory, right,
that's a given. We're going to be talking about that.
What else are we going to be talking about on
Sunday after these games?
Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
I mean, crack, crack, cracks, probably like not even watch
a second of them. He's gonna bet on all of them,
but not watch a second of them. So I'm gonna
im gonna I'm gonna cut the line here for the
set of crack here, No Dame is gonna win, could
be close early, No Dame pulls away late. That's my
read in that game. Under fifty one and a half
feels like a spot. I actually like most of the
dogs in these games. I would I I might stay
(01:47:22):
away from this dog here because I think no Dame
might pull away at the end, and I don't want
to be in that spot. I don't see Curtis work
like driving the field for late scores to cover. I mean,
I think Penn State. This is the one. I love
the favorite. This one. I think Penn State blast SMU.
The next two games are the most fun.
Speaker 1 (01:47:39):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:47:41):
Clemson is not great, but watch when you weres play football.
Anybody gladly take comes in plust eleven and a half.
This feels like a game crack that we're gonna get
a lot of sharp money on Clemson come come couple
of years. And then I like Tennessee. This game this
netveror keeps coming down to that's seven. Now, I see
(01:48:03):
there's some seven seven tennis and half plus the points
in this game. So that's that's where I sit in
these games. I think these two Clemson and Tennessee can
certainly win as dogs in these games.
Speaker 4 (01:48:14):
Yeah. No, I watched this game open, this especially this
Clemson game. I watched this game open eleven and a half.
Had a couple of sports books right away, but the
sharp sports book that make that they left that can't
believe with eleven and a half, the one of the
books that actually really takes a bet and makes the
line put up an eight and a half. I couldn't
believe it right away. They got hit. They wanted to
(01:48:35):
get hit. That's why they made late and a half.
They easily could have probably made it nine and a
half and it took the same bet but made late
and a half. And now they're up to the rest
of the books in the market at eleven and a half.
But I would lean to the dog in this game
too with the eleven and a half, And as far
as the Notre Dame game listen'd be real blunt MGM.
There's no fifty one and a half anywhere in the world.
(01:48:57):
Only MGM has that. So fifteen and a half fifty
ones Yeah, if anything, I'm with I think I don't
know if Jeff you said you lean under, but fifty
one and a half at bet MGMs on that game.
Speaker 1 (01:49:09):
Okay, I'm looking at the line movement here real fast
back to the NFL. Brown's money comes in. We saw
four and a half for the Chiefs down to four now,
so in Jamis we trust a couple of people at
least betting on the Browns. See if there's any more movement.
Raven's up to a sixteen and a half point favorite.
Speaker 4 (01:49:29):
That's yeah. I am shocked that betmgm's using that four.
I just am. I mean there's still a couple of
four and a halfs out there, bet MGM. You know,
Christian came on and talked about the game. Boy, they
still say bringing on, give us the Kansas City money.
So we'll see what happens here. Like I always say,
God protects the lookmakers.
Speaker 1 (01:49:52):
I love saying that absolutely. Are you surprised there's not
any movement with the total here in this Bills Lions game?
Are that not surprising at all to you? It's stuck
at fifty. It's been that fifty four and a half
bet MGM for a little while.
Speaker 4 (01:50:05):
Now, Yeah, no, that that's the line. That's listen, let
it go to fifty five. Well, I'll tell you I'm
tempted to goal under there. I know there's something sharp
groups went out went over early in the week. There
was fifty two. I mean, ah, boy, I tell you
fifty five.
Speaker 2 (01:50:20):
So do you feel silly if you're watching this game
to night crack and it's it's it's thirty to twenty seven,
and you're like someone's driving a score light touchdown, You're like, yeah,
I was a dummy, he was on the wrong side, right,
you know. Like it's like the thing about about this
like this one, this one game, unders are always the
right way to go, right, we talked about all the time,
(01:50:41):
not always, but for the most part. But like, I
want this game to be fun and high scoring. I
don't want to have to root for no point to
this game. Personally, it's like my personal belief on this game.
Speaker 4 (01:50:52):
Yeah, no, I agree. I agree though for the fans,
for everyone, you want to have a have a fun game,
and that means a lot of points. I mean, you
go to the sports books in town. Everyone's screaming and
yelling they want points they don't want, you know, and
it actually sells more alcohol. So I get it. I
get the reason of everyone's going crazy. So cowboys are
(01:51:12):
leaving town. By the way, we had a big rodeo
here last couple of weeks. I even went to MGM
last night and MGM was packed, could not move, full
of cowboys, full of country music, and it was actually
a great time all around. I just didn't expect December,
when it's normally a slow month, you know, This is
the month that usually the casinos used to actually close
a section to keep on having a deep cleaning and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:51:35):
No more.
Speaker 4 (01:51:36):
Now it's Cowboy week, so the rodeo is over. Everyone's
going home today.
Speaker 1 (01:51:39):
Yeah, I thought you initially meant Cowboys fans. You mean
no Cowboys, the.
Speaker 4 (01:51:43):
Actual Cowboys rodeo, rodeo.
Speaker 1 (01:51:46):
Ten gallon hats the whole thing. Yes, absolutely, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:53:21):
Five games against the spread.
Speaker 1 (01:53:24):
We call it all it the crack Challenge. All right, Jeff,
we start with you, what.
Speaker 2 (01:53:30):
Do you like? Before we get started, there is there's
like military military helicopters like flying over my house. Oh well,
I wonder, I firs we got we got drones here too.
I don't know, I don't know what's happening here. I
know I think they're flying over to the stadium for
this flyover for the Panthers Cowboys time. They're like rocking
the house, like multiple of them. My kids are like
screaming outside. They're like, oh, look at helicopters. They're very
(01:53:50):
excited to see the helicopters. I'm very excited to get
the crack challenge going here. All right, here we go.
Let's see. I'll tell you, I don't really very much
from the picks I give on my podcast of the week.
So Carolina minus two and a half hosting the Cowboys.
This other number I think has moved here. Give me
Texas minus two and a half, get a little, get
a little hooked there, but don't get hooked there. But
(01:54:11):
is minus one twenty. But that's we're not we're not
doing juice for the challenge. Okay, so I might. I'm
gonna I'm gonna change things up for a second. I'm
gonna take Buffalo. What's buffalo at right now?
Speaker 4 (01:54:24):
And a half?
Speaker 2 (01:54:25):
Two and a half Buffalo two and a half. I'm
taking Saddle plus two and a half. And as I said,
i've liked Pittsburgh this week. They're in my contest. However,
in good faith, I cannot wager on them when I
know someone else that I do not like has them.
(01:54:45):
And it's to be fair. My buddy like Pittsburgh, not
me as much. So I'm gonna go Tampa Bay minus three.
Lena be plus three plus three, sorry plus three back
to three was two and a half, I believe earlier today.
I'll take the three here for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 1 (01:55:03):
Okay, all right, I'm on you with Tampa. I like
him plus three in this spot. I think they're the
better team. And it's not like there's a great home
field advantage with the Chargers. No, I'll take them plus
the points. Listen, this is a public fade. Give me
Tennessee plus five and a half. I think the Bengals
defense is just that rotten. Thank you, I appreciate. I'll
(01:55:26):
take all the luck you said my way, you know,
But again, like the defense is so bad that even
with a banged up Will Levis, I could see the
Titans keeping it close. And they certainly have the better defense,
so I'll take them plus five and a half. I'm
against you on the on the Bills game. Give me
Detroit minus two and a half at home. I know
(01:55:48):
their defense is banged up. With that offense, number one
scoring offense in football, I don't trust the Bills defense
at all. I get them less than a field goal
at home, I'll take them. I've I've been on Arizona
all week, and I'll stick with the minus six. I
just think this is a good spot to back them
because off of three straight losses. Look at who the
(01:56:09):
losses are.
Speaker 2 (01:56:10):
Two.
Speaker 1 (01:56:11):
Seattle has their number. Seattle's won what six or seven
in a row, so they lost two or three against
Seattle and then they lost at Minnesota. Those are good teams.
The Patriots are not a good team. So I will
lay the six and go with Arizona at home and
man for the last one. I like Denver, but the
(01:56:33):
line moved. I don't like the late line movement. I'll
stick with them. I'll go with Denver minus four and
a half. I don't love the hook right there, but
I'll still I think they're the better team, and I
just don't trust Anthony Richardson as far as I can
throw them. Have we got more picks to make? Let's
do this.
Speaker 2 (01:56:54):
Rapid fire, all right, crack.
Speaker 1 (01:56:57):
With something you like today?
Speaker 4 (01:56:58):
Man, Let's go to Tampa Bay the bucks white under
rashot White under forty four and a half rushing yards
Bucket Irving plays today, So I think that'll help that.
Speaker 1 (01:57:08):
Okay, anything else you want to mention here, that's.
Speaker 4 (01:57:11):
It for now. Give you one at the end.
Speaker 1 (01:57:12):
You got something, Jeff, I thought the end is now.
Speaker 4 (01:57:17):
Forty five seconds. I'll give you one. Give you my
best one.
Speaker 1 (01:57:21):
Got eight more plays, Jeff, you want to throw out no.
Speaker 2 (01:57:23):
Let's hear cracks the best bet we got a minute?
Speaker 4 (01:57:26):
Okay, But but if you want to mention another prop,
then yeah, you know, I actually did. I send it
to you, guys, but I just totally miss Akins under
receiving yards under twenty seven and a half.
Speaker 2 (01:57:37):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (01:57:38):
I actually bet his receptions and receiving yards under best
play today. I have to go back to these first
half totals, which I've been doing good on Washington, New
Orleans over first half twenty two and a half at
bet MGM. Good luck, guys, thanks for listening. Thanks for following.
Speaker 1 (01:57:53):
Okay, what's that number again for the first half?
Speaker 4 (01:57:55):
Twenty two and a half? Bet MGM has twenty two

Speaker 1 (01:58:01):
Okay, all right? Is that? I think? Hopefully?
Speaker 4 (01:58:05):

Speaker 2 (01:58:14):
Jeff who he's excited for that. He loves the first

Speaker 1 (01:58:17):

Speaker 4 (01:58:21):
