Martin Weiss and Veejay Huskey open the show with a discussion on how we view the careers of NFL quarterbacks... Should Mahomes' chokehold on the AFC mean some other talented QBs ought to consider trades to the NFC? With the Lions' coaching staff being picked apart, is their Super Bowl window still open? Speaking of Mahomes, the guys take a look at his legacy so far and hold it up against Tom Brady and Joe Montana's... How do the three of them stack up? Later, Martin and Veejay debate just how much Nick Sirianni has to do with the Eagles' success. Plus, more fun with new editions of "Who Ya Got?" and "By This Time Next Week"!

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
That's right. We're broadcasting live from the tire rack dot
com studios, just a couple of days away from Super
Bowl week starting way to go NFL. You know, we
really could use a game tomorrow, it'd be dope. But
in the meantime, we're broadcasting live from the tire rack
dot Com studios. Tire rack dot com. Well up, you
get there with an unmaxed selection, fast free shipping, free
road as a protection. Over ten thousand recommended his dollars

(00:27):
tire iraq dot com. It's the way that tire buying
should be. We have one game left in this football season,
eight days until kickoff, and so VJA like to say,
this is when you have to earn the money, right,
this is when you have to earn the money. There's
no games, there's no nothing going on. It's too early

(00:48):
to truly preview the Super Bowl. It's too long ago
to really recap the championship games because it's just it's
been a mile away. So me and I and we
said up and cooked up some stuff. We got some
NBA stuff on the plate. I know it's a Fox
Sports Football Saturday, but you know what I'm sitting here
watching college basketball everywhere, so we'll do a little basketball conversation. VJ.

(01:10):
Sorry in advance. I know that this this moment right here,
unless there is a miraculous comeback, it'll be it'll be
a rough sledding. It's a rough sledding right now for
the North Carolina Tar Hills VJs. Beloved, I was favorite team, Beloved,
team love it. Hey, yeah, it is not quite over yet.
It is thirteen minutes left, but there's a twenty four

(01:31):
point game. We'll see if they're able to come back
on Cooper Flag, who is the presumptive number one overall pick.
Ace Bailey might have something to say about that. But Michigan,
Michigan beat Rutgers earlier today. That's how you know there's
no football, because that is solid three minutes of college
basketball off the top. All right, let's readjust.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
No, we don't need to readjust some. I'm good as always. Welcome, everybody, Marting, VJ.
Everybody out there, Fox Spunks Radio listening, Land Man, the
Big Vanilla Funny, my Man Money Mark Whit's on my
right end. Listen, listen. Let me let me just touch
on this real quick. Let me explain something to you
guys about the tar Hills. Okay, this rivalry number one.
I grew up in this robbery like my DNA and
my blood is in his Riberry. I've stood on that

(02:10):
court and talked to j Will and Trajan Langdon and
Kendall Marshall like I've been part of this. You have
these years in this robbery where one team is just
far and beyond better than the other one. Now, some
of the games will be close to game in Chapel
Hill will probably be a lot closer than this. But
this game was seven to six and then Duke hit
him with a twenty three to nine run. Game over,

(02:30):
Like real talk, we don't have the horses this year.
I'm a fan watching this tar Hill team, seeing what
the future looks like, seeing it for New York. Guard
is really one? Is really that guy as he's been
showing as a true freshman. Can we get some big
men now? We run four guards? Now, Carolina's never done that.
I grew up in the era of Montress and Antoine
JAMISONI and Brendan Haywood like I grew up in big

(02:52):
Man tar Hill Air Psycho t Tyler, harrisbro I grew up,
Sean May National champions, still coaching there.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
This lost right here at don't do nothing. I mean,
Duke is good this year.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
This kid Cooper Flag I was wrong about I was wrong.
I thought he was another col Triplekowski. No, this kid
could play Philip Tripokowski. Triplekowski. That's what he does. He
trips people on y'all know it. Triplekowski. This kid's legit.
There's always a Duke player from time to time that
I don't hate on because I respect his game. This

(03:22):
kid right here, this kid got gained, put fifteen pounds
on him and put him in the league. The way
the NBA has played today. This kid's legit. He can pass,
he facilitates the ball, he can score, He's got lyft,
he's athletic.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
He working on his little jumpy, his jumpies getting better.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I'm not mad at this game and losing like this
to this team on this night with this kid. They're
number two in the nation. They've been on the run.
They're eighteen and two. They're better than us this year.
If we get the Chapel Hill, the we're first four out.
I mean, that's where we are this year. So outside
music and I'm good. This is cool to watch because
I'm watching Cooper flag like, hey, he might be one
of them dookies when they get to the league.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I ain't gonna hate on him. I'm ana rock with him. Becau.
This kid can play. But yeah, man, I'm not upset
about this. I'm cool speaking of kids that can play.
Patrick Mahomes will be in his oh my goodness, what
is it now, fifth consecutive Super Bowl opportunity to win
his third in a row. Ian and I were talking
about this before the show VJ. You guys talk a
lot before the show, well, a pre show meeting. It's

(04:21):
a cool time. But we try to figure out we
were thinking about this because he initially was asking like,
will Josh Allen ever get over the home? All right?
And so let's say Mahome slows down, right, Let's you know,
just let's just say, well, Josh Allen ever get over
the Mahomes home. Right. Let's say Mahome slows down and
it only goes to two of the next four Super Bowls,
then you still got who goes to two of the

(04:41):
fourth four. I'm trying to follow the story. I'm just saying,
say Mahome slows down, over the next he's been to
five straight. Right, Let's say he slows down instead of
going to one hundred percent of the super Bowls over
the next four years, goes to two. Okay, okay, okay,
all right, go ahead to tell you. Okay, so you're
looking at a Josh Allen and then he said that
will Josh Allen to get over to the help. I said, well,

(05:02):
wait a minute, cause if Mahomes isn't in the super Bowl,
that means one of either the Bills, the Ravens or
the Bengals just off of quarterback strength, will be there too. Right,
somebody at the knockoff, Pat, you're looking at two time MBB,
probably three time MVP by this time next week, Lamar Jackson.
And now you mentioned the only AFC quarterback in the

(05:24):
last five, six years, seven years, whatever long to go
to the Super Bowl that wasn't named Patrick Mahomes and
Joe Burrow. So you're saying, will Josh Allen get over
the home it's Will Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson or
Joe Burrow or Tua or Aaron Rodgers or whoever else
you want to think is in the AFC. Because right
now Mahomes has put a top on how far you

(05:46):
can advance in the AFC. Thus far, he's stopping everybody
from getting the super Bowl exactly other than two guys,
and that was Tom Brady and Joe Burrow. All right,
So as you were talking, we're on the same page,
great man, great minds. Think I like I started writing
down the AFC quarterbacks, all right, So I I know
you got your headphones on in there. Man, I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Why you're glutting for punishment to even try to keep
making this thing happen. Like, yeah, Alan turnover Allen, he
had another shot, bro, and when he needed to do
it the most, he didn't turn the ball over. But
you know what he did last week? He didn't He panted.
He panted in the biggest moment to get there. It's
a rap for him. He's not getting to a super Bowl.
And especially because l Jack's two, Tom MVP, Justin Herbert Oose, Burrow, Stroud, Trevor.

(06:28):
We have to kind of maybe put our paion aside
about Trevor. Where Martin and I was leading, he's got
a new coach now, so now we have to kind
of hold back and go wow, Wow, we kind of
saw this, Trevor, but we can now blame it on
Doug Peterson because he has now been fired. So now
we have to actually kind of hold our tongue this
coming season.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, we can dabble in, Oh, well we got to
see it. Yeah, well we got to see it about
all these guys because Mahone keeps everybody hold.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
So if you're gonna say it about this guy, Dan,
you gotta say it about everybody.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
We gotta see it because it's Mahone.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I just don't know. If he slows down, I know
we'll talk super Bowl a little bit to that. I
know we'll dive deep into it next Satar. So I
don't want to give away too much, man, but even
him winning to it, the next to it the next four, Okay,
so then maybe one guy gets the other two. So
that still doesn't mean it's gonna be Allen. It could
be Borrow, it could be Herbert, it could be l Jacks.
There's four legitimate teams.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
You could say, Hey, if the Chiefs don't win the
next four, they only win two, give me two teams. VJ.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Give me two teams that you think can get in
there and get one one definitely is Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
The other one's probably Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I would say those two teams would have a shot
to get in there one of those years where Mahomes
gets hurt or they have a big injury, they just
have that down year. I would say, Okay, I'll put
it on Baltimore, pull on since then I'm definitely not
gonna say Buffalo. So yes, I do think his shot
it's been closed. It's been closed. He's not getting there.

(07:52):
It's not happening. He's had every opportunity to do it
and he can't do it. He's the only quarterback that
we keep asking this about who has all the opportunities
to get there and he never does well.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Part of the reason you asked you about Allen is
because it's almost always Mahomes that knocks him out of
the playoffs. Lamar Jackson has lost to Mahomes, He's lost
to Josh Allen.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
You know, he's like, he's also be I mean, but
he's also beaten Josh Allen too.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Lamar Jackson's beaten Josh. But you say, why do we
ask this about Josh Allen? Nobody else is because Josh
Allen has beaten the other quarterbacks. He has not beaten
Patrick Mahomes, but Josh Allen's also been beaten by the quarterbacks,
though able to the fact of the matter.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
The reason for the question in general is because no
one has been able to get over that Mahomes hump
in the AFC. And look, when you're in the NFL,
everyone says there's two Super Bowl berths each year, but
really there's only one because you're in a conference, right
So if you're in the AFC, there's one Super Bowl
berth that you can potentially make, and Mahomes has that
on lock right now. So you have guys in the
AFC like Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, the guys we've been

(08:55):
talking about, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert who just can't make
the Super Bowl. And if you're guys who have the
potential to be all time quarterbacks in the NFL, it
hurts your legacy all time that you never made a
Super Bowl. So the question for you guys is do
you if you're a quarterback in the AFC, would you
be trying to force your way over to the NFC
just for the sake of helping your legacy and having

(09:16):
a chance Because even if you lose in the Super Bowl,
at least you made.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
It because work it out right. I think that if
you put Lamar Jackson in the NFC, he's the best
quarterback in the NFC. I think if you put even
Justin Herbert in the NFC, he's probably he's a top
two NFC, top three NFC quarterback. You walk him in
there and he's not even in the conversation. In the AFC.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
You know what is this off of? And I'm just asking,
I did see this clip this week. I don't watched
this af thow. The clip is this off of Cam
Newton saying that Jalen Hurts wouldn't have gone to as
many Super Bowls if you played in AFC.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Because I saw that and it got me kind of thinking, like, wow,
that's a good point. That's not where I know that. Okay,
would you feel okay? So to answer your question, yeah, man,
not Lamar and not. Look, it goes against me because
winning like, if it's Josh, lets choose him. Since if
it's Josh, I might, I might. It goes against what

(10:07):
you think about football fans, right, because football, your quarterback
generally stays where he's at. If he's high level, right
of course, Yeah, you generally he's gonna stay where he's at.
Like you don't think about the idea that like the
forty nine ers in theory could trade for Josh Allen, right,
like it can definitely happen. But like in the NBA. Wow,

(10:28):
But like in the NBA, like that happens all the time, right,
you know what I'm saying, Like a star will move
to a new team or something like team right, two
and three teams, four teams? Kevin Durant has been on
how many teams when he was the best player in
the NBA was switching teams?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
You know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
That doesn't happen. The best player stays where normally the
best player stays where they're at, And so you look
at it, it would be a departure from what we
know from football. But I'll tell you what if I'm
Johnston Harbert and I'm looking at the likes of Jalen Hurts,
and I don't even a slight Jalen Hurts at this,
But I one hundred percent think if he was in
the AFC, he would have a big fat goose egg

(11:01):
for Super Bowl appearance. It's just like Josh Allen Labar
Jackson right at Justin Herbert and.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
But also saying that's what keeps Burrow's name at the top.
And I'll and i'll and i'll keep them near to remember.
Pat Mahomes is by himself. My Tier one starts without
Pat Mahomes. Pat Maholmes is not a teer. He's the
guy here chase it. Burrow got to one. That's what
saves him from because the only other guy that got
to one at AMC is Brady and he's calling games
for us now, so Burrow's the only guy alive.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
But it's also it's it's because, like we said at
the at the beginning, there's there's one AFC birth, but
there's two Super Bowl bursts, and there's there's also you know,
subsequtely one NFC birds. And it feels like it feels
disrespectful to say, but it's like almost quote unquote wasted
on guys who you don't see having an all time career,
guys like Jalen Hurts, like Brock Party. Maybe they prove

(11:51):
me wrong, but it just feels like if we're building
legacies each year, there's only two Super Bowl berths and
and it's like it's Mahomes.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
And then, but it's what it is and what it's
always been. I'm a damn Marino fan. Okay, Jim Kelly
and the Bills literally stood in their way for four years.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
But imagine for fort Jim Kelly had gotten traded to
New Orleans. You know what I'm saying that all of
a sudden, that the pathway is way more open. Right
to his point, like when you're dealing with an all
time great, who's.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Like, it's like the same your best question. Few accidents
you've been producing our shows that.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Karl Malone had to deal with, right, you know, John
Stockton had to deal with like rant to the Lakers.
It's just when you run, there's a ceiling on how
you can get. And to his point, man, I don't
think that there. I put it like this. If you
put fifteen sports talk opinions in a room and you
told them ranked Jalen Hurts in terms of quarterbacks in

(12:48):
the NFL, I think you would have a wide range,
some people as close to us high as six, to
people as low as fifteen was five.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
He was five than me and my top ten. My
We did all that in August he was my he
was my fifth I had him at five.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
But when you look at it, is that age he's
going to Super Bowls one, he's won the conference twice
and and what five years? Four years? Like that's the
type of thing that we would be crowned, Like you
want to crown him? Crown is that us? But we're
all still like rip Danny Green. Jalen Hurts. I think
I saw Marcus Marcus Spears who tweeted it out, but
he was something like Jalen Hurts wins in the super Bowl.

(13:21):
We all know he is definitively a top nine quarterback
and it's like that, But that is kind of the
rub about it, right, Yeah, I don't. I don't. I
don't like that I would.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
I'm sure we'll touch on this more either this show
or next week, so I'm not gonna go do in
two depth. You both know how I feel about Jalen Hurts.
Anybody that knows me or listens or why anybody that
even knows me knows how I feel about Jayleen.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
A wide range of opinions on it.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
It is a wide range of opinions, but I think
there's a lot of undertone reasons for that along with
a guy like Lamar Jackson, a guy like Cam Newton,
a guy like Mike Vick. Did we've seen this before, Jayleen?
My thing with Jalen Hurts say is the guy's gone
to two of the last.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
For super Bowls.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
He and only one other quarterback in the league can
say that. And it's just crazy because we know if
this was Burrow, or if it was Josh Allen, or
if it was Justin Herbert, the narrative would be completely different.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Because the difference is like the time to cut you off.
The difference is that neither one of those other guys
has an MVP candidate on their side of the ball,
not even Cloro.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Burrow's got the Burrow's got one B receiver in the league.
Stop it you got.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Like I said, I was not even close to an
MVP can But they don't give MVPs the receivers. But
he's got the He's got the second best receiver in football.
Cooper Cup got an MVP in the Super Bowl. They
give MVP to receivers and.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
They put an unmate league MVP and then they don't
give there Jerry Rice. I think Jerry Rice is the
last receiver to get league MVP.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Maybe still well, you know what they also that's a
good us, A good question check out for me.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Did Sterling Shark win MVP of ninety one?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
But to the point tell the last running back to
when they Adrian Peterson.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
A Sterling sharp did not win a VP, but he
received m VP votes in two separate seasons.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Okay, oh he was a man and that was before
your time. But you talk about you thought his brother
was good, and his brother will tell you that Sterling. Anyway,
this is interesting, Barkley, No, that was this is like
I mean that that's not how properly. I'm not trying
to This might have been one of the best web
thinking questions you put out, bro.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
This is this got my mind, sweet bro. Like to
get you guys thinking it. No, let me ask you this.
If you're if you're Alan, do you ask out because
that one probably thinks he can win it.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Everybody else thinks he could get to one and win it.
But you're not gonna get it through Pat.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
I just think with the NFL, it's this is just
my personal opinion, but I just can't see it happening
because in the NFL there's so much loyalty, like you
just don't see the best players, at least a quarterback
requesting trades. It's super rare, like the last time, only
super only.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Doing contract talk.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Okay, but you know what though, last quick point, if
this was to start, this business would kill them.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
You're running, you're running. Oh yeah, he ran to the NFCR.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
He ran to this business and you know, I'm telling
the truth, would start to kill those guys.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
We like it at first, and then ran over there
about the business as if he is not actively a
part of it. He says the media we're on radio
right now about us. Yeah, I'm part of it.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
I know that.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
But the bit we would but you know him, this business,
we'll crush it, all right. Honestly I got that from
Triple A, so I'm not gonna lie. Triple A says
this business.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
When he's doing his promoms about wrestling and w W
and I like that because that means he loves the business.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Well that's actually okay, never that that is actually singular business.
So you talk about this nebulous The spurs mea, man,
we're the best. We have. This is the best business
in the world. There's no business better than this. Are
you kidding me? Coming up next? These guys were the
the the sweetheart story of the last two seasons. Will
it continue? We'll see Martin VJ Fox Sports Football Saturday.

You know? And we'll talk about this in just a
little bit. At the top of next I'm wearing around

(18:00):
here in the middle of the ten o'clock hour Eastern time,
we're gonna talk about which coaching staff is being built
they you know, how the new coaches who you think
is doing the best job building out their staff. But
right now there has been a blue Light special, it
seems on Lions assistant coaches. No pun intended on that

(18:22):
team color neither guys. They're all going. Everyone must go,
apparently for the Detroit Lions, some to Chicago with Ben Johnson,
others just around the league. Vj I said earlier, this
is the most important offseason for the Detroit Lions because
of this fact. This is one of the most important
offseasons for Dan Campbell, because this is what the reality is,

(18:45):
this situation right here when you look at the forty
nine ers sustained success, your favorite over the last few years,
NFC Championship game, boom boom boom, boom boom. And we
look at the Eagles Super Bowl. Who knows brock Pardy
doesn't get knocked out of that game, how that one
finishes up right? Maybe the Eagles are going to their

(19:06):
first Super Bowl right now instead of their second CHAMPI
you talk about the NFC confence, I'm saying, if Brock
Pardy hadn't goten knocked out of that game in the
first quarter, they had literally no quarterbacks. Life wasn't Christian
McCaffrey playing QB. There was a lot of talk about
how we needed to be you know what I'm saying,
And that just goes to show you if that's the plan,
then it seems as if the situation is ugly. But
the reason why, in my inestimation, the forty nine ers

(19:27):
were able to reach that level of success even though
they didn't eventually get the Super Bowl, is because Kyle
Shanahan and non safety the GM John Lynch, John Lynch
Hall of Famer. Yes, I don't know why that just
jumped out of my brain, but those two guys have
done such a good job of hiring and moving off

(19:48):
offensive and defensive coordinators. This is the price of success. Yep. Okay, Now,
JUX suppose that with the other most successful team in
the NFC the last four years, the Philadelphia Eagles, Right,
they had that tail spin last year, and you could
point a direct line to the assist that's hired the

(20:08):
coordinators hired and that tail spin and then a direct
line with the coordinators hired this year, and obviously the
addition is sac one Barkley. But the team's relative steady
success the entire off the entire regular season, right, not
not much changed outside of Saquon coordinators. That was it
was it, that was it. If you're the Detroit Lions,

(20:31):
you can go from being a really cool story for
the last two years to truly the class of the
NFC for the next five years. If you get this right.
They gotta get it right.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
I mean, I don't really have much to add to
what you just said. We know what this is when
it comes to the NFL, your coordinators and who's calling
the plays. And like marg just said, the Eagles two
years ago, guys, steam rode to the Super Bowl and
was up twenty four, seven and two. The Scooper score
cut at to ten before the half, and then that
game went the way last year ten to one. Things
fall apart, God start to get hurt. The coordinators can't

(21:05):
hold things together. New coordinators this year calling plays. I
mean Vic Vangiel, Hello, he just comes in and just
makes him the number one defense, number one in the
passing number three against the rush and number seven, excuse me,
number six, I believe in defensive third down conversion rate.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Giving up. There you have it. They're going to a
super Bowl again, so they better get it right. But man,
I hate to say this, but I got to. It
would just be so Detroit if this falls apart.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Over the next two to three years, they go from
getting to the conference championship game to having forty five
points hung on him in the divisional round the following year,
to losing the wildcard game next year, and then it's
going back downhill. They'll fire Dan Campbell and then it's
just right. I mean, it got there. They're right there

(21:50):
in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
They're right there in Levin Stadium with a chance to
go to Super Bowl, and it close it.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
It would just be so Detroit. I hope it doesn't
happen because I like this team. I like the coach,
although I like a bunch of players. I covered Saint
Brown out here when he was playing for Modern Day
like I liked it. Hutches my guy Hunches of Michigan.
Like I like this team. I hope it doesn't happen,
but they better, Like you said, they better get it.
They better get these coordinators right. The offense I think
will be fine next year. It's going to take a

(22:15):
few years for that to just fall apart. It's the
defense I'm worried about. I tend to think the offense
will be fine as well. Dolphins will be fine for
the next two seasons.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
And honestly, was a little I say. Ben Johnson didn't
exactly cover himself in glory the last two games that
he did coordinate for the Lions. You know, I wouldn't score.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Thirty one points in the playoff game, Marin, like, I
hear you. But they scored thirty one points.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
I understand you turned the ball over five times. It
still had thirty plus points. I get it. But the
reason why the other team had forty five is because
you turned the ball over the five time. That's not
Ben Johnson's fault. That's not Been Johnson's fault. That's the
guys that buckle the chin strap. Buddy. Let me tell
you something. Turnovers are players on the field. It's not
for no no now now now now now now now

(22:58):
no no no. You tell me that in the biggest
game of the season, you have Jamison Williams throwing interception.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Stupid play. But he doesn't have to throw the interception.
Don't don't call it. Don't call it. You do not
put you don't do that. You don't put that type.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
You don't put him in that position to make that
decision motion to get behind the cold off the bench,
the run up, touch, push. You don't do that on
fourth down. I got you Jamis and Williams throwing interception,
talking about it's the player, it's the players. He throws.
He doesn't have to throw that ball. They should have never.
I'll tell you what if you if a sixth If you,
if you give your keys to your Lamborghini to a

(23:38):
sixteen year old nick crashing, whose fault is it yours?
You should have known him better. Obviously I could drive
in sixteen. I bet I bet you would have crashed
on Lamborghini.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
I drove my step dad's Porsche. I drove Glenn's Porsche
at sixteen, so I was good with time. But anyway,
I feel you, I just in the in football. That's
how was the ordes great great analogy you tried there,
Because it's true, it's your fault. You gave your he's
your LAMBORGHINI'SI a sixteen year old.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
But I bet you are you talking about? You said
that practice? I bet you Dave run. What would your mama?
Your mama would have tour Glenno if you wrecked that portion.
Mama would She didn't know he let me drive, say exact.
I bet so. I bet so, because no one about
to hear that. She didn't know. He let me try.
I bet so. I bet sixteen. Hell she lizer right now,

(24:22):
she might cut you off. You ain't never tell me.
I didn't never tell you that. You just found out
now thirty years later. Let's kick it over to Steve
the Sega stay for what's trending in the world to sports. Steve,
you're up, hello, gentlemen.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
And in the NBA, the Washington Wizards on the road
this year are one and twenty one. They're already up
double digits late first quarter at Minnesota twenty seven seventeen.
We got a while to go, but I feel like
this is a win already right out a se Denver
Nuggets are leading seventy three sixty one at the Hornets
mid third quarter, two finals from today. Atlanta's Trey Young

(24:58):
had thirty four points seventeen and yet the Hawks lost
again one thirty two one twenty seven at Indiana, eight
straight losses for Atlanta. Utah was ten and thirty six,
but wound up a home winner against Orlando one thirteen
to ninety nine despite thirty seven points from Franz Wagner.
The Lakers are at New York, a team that's won
five in a row that starts in a few minutes,

(25:19):
and the Lakers have switched from their city edition uniform
since they're one to nine in those at HL wins
for Boston and Florida. Today, the Bears hired Eric b
Enemy as running backs coach. He was fired as UCLA's
offensive coordinator after one season. Three additional massage therapists accused
Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of inappropriate behavior during massage sessions.

(25:40):
According to the Baltimore Banner. Six other accusations against Tucker
were published on Thursday, which he denied. Nebraska coach Matt
Rule says he will likely cancel their spring football game
so they don't lose players to the transfer portal because
of it. Last year's spring game was televised and drew
sixty thousand fans at Nebraska, and then six players went
in the transfer portal afterwards. As for college basketball, number

(26:03):
two Duke is still rolling pass rival North Carolina with
about two minutes to go. It's eighty one sixty three
Blue Devils. They've started overtime at number six Houston. The
Cougars are tied with twenty second ranked Texas Tech seventy
four seventy four on Fox TV mid first half. Number
twenty five Yukon leads at ninth rank Marquette twenty two
to ten. Arkansas at Kentucky next hour. Today, Kansas State,

(26:27):
which was three and six in the Big Twelve conference,
wound up a winner at number three Iowa State eighty
to sixty one. Alabama over Georgia. Auburn wanted old Miss
Tennessee rock Florida sixty four to forty four. At USC
the Trojans upset number seven Michigan State seventy to sixty four,
and Baylor at home beat number eleven Kansas eighty one

(26:48):
to seventy.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Back to you, thanks Steve Martin and VJ coming with
you live from the Tireraq dot Com studios. BJI to
take a second. Here are you familiar with forty two
Doug the Rapper? Forty two does absolutely not Mary Matc Yes,
hell yeah. Have you seen his Twitter profile recently?

Speaker 7 (27:07):
I have been retweeting them because they're so funny, but
I don't retweet all of them because I do know
Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
He's a rapper. His name again two Doug. Yes, he
actually has several songs. I actually really I love him. Yeah,
I love him, Doug. If there's ever been somebody who
needs to call one hundred gambler more, it's him. It's him.
I've never seen the worst gambler.

Speaker 8 (27:31):
He's so bad.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
He because he tweets every day VJ about how X
player is the weakest M for ever. Like two days ago,
Buddy healed one of the weakest M efforts I've ever
seen play. Then h five days ago AFC Championship game,
Dalton Kink he tweets, you big stupid mffor who don't
catch the ball when the season's on the line. Meanwhile,

(27:55):
he's posting a picture of a seven leg parlay with
Dalton k k two receptions, the one that didn't hit
six days ago. Somebody's paying Davis for Arkansas the f
the season up. I know it when I see it.
On the twenty fifth of January, Carolina and Kentucky coaches
need to be fired. Watch them f it all up
at the half and don't do anything. And whoever number

(28:17):
five is on Kentucky needed to release your bum ass.
You can't even dribble, you goofy mfor yeah this guy?
Yeah wow, Wait did you see.

Speaker 8 (28:26):
His latest tweet? How about the podcast?

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Yes, that's the one that maybe even go through all
of this. He goes, I'm starting a podcast, which I
cannot say on the Radio's gonna feature everybody that's ever
lost me money, So you can ask him in this day,
what in the f you were doing? So he's gonna
have the people who were in Well, I just know.

Speaker 8 (28:45):
His next album is gonna be so good.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Over this well, it sounds like he's gonna have to
make sure because he seems like he's quite literally quite
a bit of money as he's on betting on sports
every night. He's got a new I can't believe that, buddy,
he cost me or I can't believe that Jordan Poole
or Brandon Pajemski or whoever cost me some money.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
And he's a rapper and he's tweeting him. I tell you,
bets all right, I'll check him out. It sounds like that.
I've seen guys tweet like this though, Oh you're such
and such mess it up. He should be cut, Yeah,
because you lost money.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Well, the thing is, nobody ever suggests maybe I should
be a better gambler. This guy should be a better player. Yeah,
I should be a better gamble because here's the thing,
this guy spunk shit took the under. Anyway, speaking of
taking the under, if you had asked me when Tom
Brady retired and when anybody matched the seven Super Bowls,
I would have took the under by a mile. Then

(29:36):
Patrick Mahomes just like, yeah, you know what I'm gonna do.
Just live in the Super Bowl every single year basically
minus two of them. What would Patrick Mahomes have to do?
First of all, do you think that Tom Brady is
the greatest quarterback of all time? And if so, what
would Patrick Mahomes have to do to supplant him to pass?

Speaker 3 (29:58):
And mister Thomas Brady is the greatest quarterback of all
time to ten Super Bowls appearances and seven and you know,
let's get real, he lost to the Eagles. The other
Eagles super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
That they have, the one that he lost.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
He put up five hundred yards of offense like he
was on fire Bill Belichi Deeves just decided to give
up five hundred yards of office himselfs too. So yes,
he's the go to me best quarterback I've ever seen,
just everything about him in the pocket, his mechanics, his footwork,
just Tom Brady's. He was just that guy man and
he took He took receivers that you guys would never

(30:34):
look at on any other roster and think they would
do anything like David Patton, you know.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Kevin falk out of the backfelt like, I mean, he
he's done it time and time again with player after
player after player. Yeah, he had Gronk and he had
Moss for he had Moss for three years and that
was it. Then it's back to just conten Troy Brown.
Those type got great players. But he just he just
always made it work for Mahomes to catch him. If
I say it about this with other sports, especially like
in the NBA, right, like you can't be better than

(31:01):
Jordan if you're not six and oh, if you don't
have six and oh, Like he's never lost when the
money's on the table, when all the chips are pushed
to the middle of the table and everybody's gotta lay
their cards out. Jordan never lost.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
That guy still means something over the totality of history
of sports and athletics. So he's got to get the
seven for me to put him there. Right now, he's
the top five quarterback I've ever seen. The guy's just phenomenal.
And being that I got a chance to watch it.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
We don't have a chance to watch some of the
old guys, how they train, how they how they lived,
how they ate, how they worked out so much passes
Yeah we were, Yeah, exactly, we have so much access today.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
If you just want to keep it, really not be
a hater. You really can find appreciation for somebody that
you may not be a fan of. I'm not a
Patrick Mahomes fan per se, but I don't like missing
his games because I know he's gonna do something sick.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
You know what, He's gonna do something tremendous. Like if
you give this guy a shot in the postseason with
the lead, you're done, Like you're done. That's what he's
shown me. So that's what I'm gonna keep going with.
But winning still has to mean something.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
I'm not going on that side, and I'm never gonna
go on that side. The guy that's got a lot
of championships, and the guy that's won a lot of championships,
as Charles Barkley said, as the bus driver, that guy's
at the top of the damn listen. That's how it's
gonna be. So five or six, then I'll say he's
the same. I'm telling you right now.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
There will be people who put him ahead of Tom
Brady the super Bowl if he wins, people doing it now.
There are people doing it now, and that's fine, Mart,
and they can do that.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
To me.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
That's not a debate I even like to have because
it's just all right, bro, I guess seven don't mean nothing.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
And that's what you're telling me. You're telling me seven
super bowls and ten appearances don't mean anything. That means
funny the best, Yeah me, second play, it means well,
it ain't. I guess Malmes will always have the Tom
Brady beat me head to head. Sure, dead to cost him,
but you know, respond and be like, yeah, you know what,
he never won three in a row. Yeah, true, and

(32:47):
guess what, and that's fair. But also to yeah, the
guy that beat you in one head to head. The
only guy that's beating you one and headed is Tom Brady.
And the only guy that's kept you out of one
other than Joe Burrow on your old home field was
Tom Brady also too, So he's the guy that sobj
Is there anything Mahomes could do? Then? What's that? Being
the case?

Speaker 4 (33:04):
He has him head to head no matter what, because
Brady's retired, he can never have that on him. Is
there anything Mahomes can do to where you just throw
that away? It doesn't even matter because what Mahomes did
was so great. It doesn't even matter that Mahomes beat
him seven.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
He doesn't have to go there but seven. I tell okay, buddy, hey,
he's got because the rings matter that at the end
of the day. That's just the guy I am. When
your career is over. What did you win? I tell
you right here, right now, did you win?

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Well?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
You know what, he would have won three in a
row if he gets this one, and I might be
I might be ready. But if he gets a three
peat and then like five total bet a man like
two and three guys, we can't remember there, We can't
remember this gentleman from San Francisco by the name of
Joe Montana, who was also foign Oh super Balls and
never throw an interception in.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
The Super Bowl. He never lost the Super Bowl, so
when he got there, he won every time. We can't
we can't start to forget about that stuff. Nobody forget about.
I'm not you know, there're pilly people who do.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
No one here. Did you know no one forgot about
You're talking about the world super Bowls? All to win
four streets, you know what I'm saying, Like he does.
If he wins next Sunday, he'll the opportunity to win
four straight and that will be that I told you.
I put him at two to put him past Joey.
At that point he wins four in a row, he's
pasted Joe Montana's four. Like that's just like, hey, bro,

(34:26):
because that makes he's got five. Right, So it's like,
all right, yeah, Joe, You're you're third. Now, this guy's
one more super Bowls than you. That's just the way
it's always been, guys. For me, he's a solid second
behind Brady And oh yeah, so he's better than Joe
Montana right now? Yes, Wow. The first five years I
took Joe Montana his entire career to do and no,

(34:46):
but that to me, to me, that doesn't matter in
a certain amount of years, that that doesn't matter. At
the end of the day, he's got Joe Montana's four No,
he has, He's lost the super Bowl. Joe Montana never
lost the super Bowl. So how are you better than
Joe Montana?

Speaker 4 (35:02):
The fact that it's debatable, it's crazy, like Mahomes isn't
even thirty good.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Thirty and you look at their resumes and it's right there.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Won't we let some more of this play out instead
of saying I'm sorry, he's not better than Joe Montana,
We're not doing that. Yes, Patrick mahone, No, I'm not
subscribing to that at all.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
That's fine because the rest, I mean, put this on YouTube.
Cut this segment on you. Put this one on YouTube.
This is good. No way, Pat Mahomes is better than
Joe Montana. Yes, I didn't even think that was controversial. Wow,
what why are you are? You'll really gonna see her

(35:39):
disrespect Joe Montana like that? They don't forget Joe Montana
name meet the receiver Alla Jerry Rice. That Patrick Mahomes
has had for his career only only old people. Some
people say might be the best Titan of all time
and Travis Kelsey stop it. No dude, no, no, no,
we're not doing that. I mean did not court tight end.
I remember Bray Jones. I should have heard of the

(36:01):
catchy Jones. I seen Dwight Clark. No, no, I've seen.
I've seen was good. He was good, but he's not
even better than like Antonio Gates, Ron Goodkowski that Kellen
wins all. He's Dwight Clark was good.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
D White.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
Clark's not even a top fifteen tight end of all time.
Jerry Rice is us, Who's your best wide receiver of
all time? I'm who's of all time?

Speaker 1 (36:28):
For me?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Sure it's Jerry Rice. Okay, that's what I thought. It's Jerrice.
I arrest my kid. I would, but I would take
Moss one overall if we were picking to form our
own team. I get that. I take the ball talking. No,
I'm not talking about I'm not talking about like Madden GM.
I'm talking about you factor and statue and every Darry Rice. Okay,
that's what I thought, Jerry Rice, That's what I thought.
Back to the Travis Councils thirty five we're the same age,
me and Travis.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Well, I understand that. But some people will consider him
the greatest tight end of all time, so you can
say he had one of the greatest pass catchers of
all time. Regardless whether it's a W R R T,
A NIXT to the name. His job is still to
catch the ball. He's still a pass catcher. We're not
gonna dump down Travis Kelcey. Now that man is one
of the best of all time. Pat's had that.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
He also had ty Reek, who we were calling. And
then how many Super Bowl says he won? Since Sharreek
was traded, Well, then that's because he's got Travis kel
How many did Joe went without? That's because he's gonna travel,
that's what he's got. That's because he's got Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Though.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
That's the thing.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
You can lose a ty Reek when you got Travis.
That's how great Travis is. That's how great.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Gronk was thirty two year old at the time, Travis
Kelsey thirty two year old at the time, Travis thirty
three old, and thirty four year old Travis kels He's
probably a first ballot Hall of Famer. Gentlemen are y'all.
Are y'all doing this to me today? You got? This
is on purpose? This is on purviost. Get you going,
It's Super Bowl week?

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Come it?

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Okay? I got you?

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Ian?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I like this. Travis Kelcey is a first ballot Hall
of Famer and he plays with Pat Mahollsvis. You're telling
me that Jerry Rich's best freet of all times, and
he was a first battlet Hall of Famer. And you're
telling me that Pat Mahomes is better than John than
Joe Montana. Yes again, I didn't think it was controversial.
Pj's Top five NBA Teams. Martin VJ, Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
You don't listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
Come to you live at the Tirack dot Com Studios,
Martin and VJ on Fox Sports Radio on Fox Sports
Football Saturday. It's time for vj's Top five NBA teams.
All right, man? So last week I did my top five.
Go ahead and give me my music what we have,
but to take this off? Who is this?

Speaker 1 (38:29):
We only got?

Speaker 2 (38:29):
That's pretty too? Doug oh December here? Yeah? Oh y'all
listening to him?

Speaker 9 (38:32):
Later?

Speaker 3 (38:32):
I I don't know about Yeah, that's a guy sound
I thought it was a girl rapper right there.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Anyway, Top five.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
NBA teams, Man, I don't know what it is about
me being this deep in the NBA as I am
this year, just like like five or six years ago,
when I was really especially when Kobe was still playing
a live like in tune every night watching games. So
I figured I'd get back onto doing some top five.
Best game this week, Martin that I watched was the
Memphis Houston game. You talk about two teams that are
top ten both in offense and defense efficiency. What Taylor

(39:00):
Jenkins has done with this team, Zach Edie, props to you,
young man. A lot of people thought this guy will
gonna play thod you guys, he'll be fine on defense,
and he's developed a three point shot, shooting the ball
really well for them. And of course they got jot
back they say right now in thirty two and sixteen,
right now they said it the five.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Spot for me. I do have a concern about this
team though. Jah's missing too many games for nagging injuries,
and you guys know how I feel about nagging injuries.
Not enough water, electre like straight stretching.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
Just doing the little things to take care of your
body as a pro athlete. He's sitting and missing too
many games for me. They're gonna need him down to
the stretch. Number four, give me the Houston Rockets right now.
Email Doo Kusar, you can't coach basketball.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Love this team.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
Also another team top ten to in offense and defensive
fishers team Number.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Three, Okahoma City SGA. He's gonna win MVP this year.
Number two give me them Celtics man defending champions and
my number one team.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
I've watched them a bunch this year. The Cleveland Cavaliers
are legit guys. Remind me of the four Pistons. Watch
this team get to the finals this year out of
the Eastern Conference seven.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
He's been playing quite well. Speaking of playing well the Eagles, Sirianni,
what's your outlook on him?

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Don't listen to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
We are broadcasting live from the ti iraq dot Com
studios tire iraq dot Com. We'll hope you get there
with an unmatched election, fast free shipment, free road has
a protection and over thirteen, what're we talking about? Over
ten thousand? I was reading that Joe Montana started thirteen
games in nineteen eighty nine over ten thousand recommending this
dollars tire iraq dot com is the way that tire
buying should be. We just had a spirited debate about

(40:33):
Super Bowls and their results, and I don't want to
revisit it. You know, check out the podcast if you're
interested in that conversation. But here's the one I do
have to ask you because oh we're getting ten thousand
views on that on YouTube. That's a good topic. As
many the I don't want to phrase this, I say
this all the time. It's right. The only person who

(40:54):
wins and losses are on the resume for officially is
who and football. Yes, it's all. It's the quarterback, a
quarterback and coach, the cut coach the wins and losses.
I'm sorry, losses. I'm saying that's the only person whose
job it is to win the game. Is the head coach,

(41:15):
like you offense, cordator job score points, get first down
because cordinator stop. We look at the quarterback win loss
record for quarterback. The quarterback maintained possession of the ball,
managed the game, so on and so forth. The only job description,
the only three words up for head coach win, the game.
That's it. Nobody in the last four years has done

(41:36):
that more than Nick Sirianni your guy, not your god.
We'll tell you. I do not like the way he
acts in public, and it is informed and clouded the
way I seriously, the way I know I do a
show with you, I know you feel about him to
the rest of the world. It has really because he could.

(41:59):
I keep looking at it saying this can't keep working.
It's too volatile. Here we are, it's too haphazard, it's
too random, and I do think a lot of it
has to do. But that is, to me, the best
roster in the league by a wide margin. I think

(42:21):
that has a lot to do about that. Healthy.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
Detroit's got a hell of a roster healthy, the Niners
got a hell of a all right, Well.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Neither one of those teams were healthy, which is why
the Eagles had the healthiest, i mean, the deepest and
best roster then the NFC by a mile this year.
I think that probably why you end up in the
spot that you're in now are even more so. Honestly,
probably how the Washington Commanders end up getting to the
championship game is because of stuff like that. Those types

(42:48):
of injuries. But I like that team though. Sure, I
mean I like them too, but they but they weren't.
They were punching above their weight in that game. If
Nick year Yanni wins this next Super Bowl, you will
have two appearances, one win, and he's only been the
coach for like it feels like forever, it's been five

(43:10):
six Who would he have beaten? Andy Reid, Patrick Mahome,
the unbeatable, the unflappable. You know what I'm saying, that
the God's gift to football, the Kansas City Chiefs, nix
Yir Yanni would It's hard to say it, but it's
just like I'm just fully coming clean at this point.

(43:32):
I have expected Nick sior Yanni to lose his job
so many different times over the last five years, but
it just turns out it's like predicting the sun rising
in the West. It's never seen me to happen. No
matter what, I was trying to think of an equivalent,
and the only thing I could think of is like
a rock star who goes every single night like they
have a Vegas residence shows every night, and then every

(43:55):
night after the show that go out and get completely
trashed and then wake up the next day and they're
super hungover and they just kind of slink out onto
the stage, sit down, pick up the guitar, and all
of a sudden, you hear it. It's like, wait a minute,
this is the best thing I've ever heard of in
my life. And then he goes back out the next
night and does it's completely trashed, you know, slides of
this hotel, rofolds to sleep on the floor, wakes up,

(44:15):
goes back and just shreds like it makes no sense
and it feels like it should blow up in everybody's
face on all you know what, two super Bowls of
three years eggs on my face. Hey, I'll mean, hey, ian,
I thought about that when they wasn't the game. I said,
he's this guy, but he's calling to his second Super
Bowl in the last four years, the most inexplicable thing ever.

(44:38):
And last year, guys, remember they're ten and one last
year and they're rolling. They're rolling. They win that overtime
game against Buffalo in the rain. You guys remember that
game last year?

Speaker 3 (44:48):
They win that game in overtime, Jalen hurts with the
scrambling overtime to win against Buffalo, and we're like Okay,
here come the Eagles again. And then the injuries hit,
and then aj Brown started and things fell a part.
They dragged himself down the temple for that playoff game,
get in pairs and.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Go off into the off season. Well it's over. It's
over the Eagles, over to the er and overs her,
Jael hurt, and all they do is come out this
year and go fourteen and three. Fourteen and three, you know,
probably could have been fifteen and two. And here we
are again.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
I've always said this, and I'm not gonna backtrack him
in it. Stay where I was a few weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
I understand why you say the adult and rich kind
of thing. A few weeks ago, you said you wanted
to fire him after see I did, I did, I did.
I said, I'm gonna stay there. I said, I'm not
going to back track. I said that because I meant that,
and I knew when they came back the following week,
they would admit that they really wanted to play them,
which everybody said, so you should have just played them.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
And all he's been doing in the playoff games, it's
just showing not your ass to everybody. Okay, he's just
been running through everybody. I'm not gonna give it away
with I think he's gonna do next week, but I
think he's gonna be really good. But here he is, though,
with his team in the super Bowl, with all the
stuff that he does, with all the stuff that people
don't like, with all the stuff that people say about him,
And guess what, you and everybody else that don't like

(46:01):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
You may not like them not to like him, but
guess whatever he does work, we can blame it on.
Was got a great roster and he's got every All
coaches that get to the super Bowl got that stuff.
Don't nobody get to the super Bowl with a crap
roster or banged up roster or hurt right, you get
to the super Bowl with good players, good coaching.

Speaker 3 (46:18):
And a good roster. And the guy obviously his style
where it works for the city guys. You see how
they act, You see how Philadelphia is. And I love Philly.
My father's from South Philly. My dad's an Eagles fan,
born and bred all my like, my father cheered for
his Eagles.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
So it works.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
They're back in the super Bowl again. They got a
legitimate chance to win it again. And if he wins it.
Oh my god, you guys are gotta run because they'll
probably do more stuff that you ain't like.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
He will be absolutely insufferable. But here's the thing though, too.
You ever, you ever have a dysfunction fan, you ever
have a friend guys that has a dysfunctioned family, And
when you look at it from the outside, you're like, Wow,
how the hell do you live in that house? But
if you stay there long enough, you understand they get

(47:04):
what's going on here.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
They don't care about the outside world. They don't care
about what Miss Johnson and Miss Jackson down the street think.
It works for relationships. Everybody's got a friend, a couple.
You look at it and go, why are they together?
It works for them. They don't care about what you think.
This is what it feels like with Sirianni and the Eagles.
We don't care what y'all think. We don't care if
y'all want us to throw the ball, we don't care.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
If y'all want us to discipline our receiver for reading
a book, we don't care. I think I think they're
reading the book is the discipline. I think that reading
the book was like that. What does you feel about
that I thought it was. Honestly, it goes. It speaks
to the whole thing. It speaks to the whole thing
because I fully believe that A. J. Brown is reading

(47:48):
that book on the sidelines to not like go crazy
because he's not getting the ball right. I think that
people were taking him to task and reading the book.
I think everybody's reading this the wrong way. This is
what it deemed the solution, which to me is crazy.
It works, but that's the like that we're planning it work.
The plan is for AJ Brown to read self help

(48:09):
posts on the sidelines because we know we're gonna throw
the ball for seventeen completions for about one hundred and
seventy eight yards. That's how we're gonna play. And it's
just mind boggling that is that everybody's on board with this.
Like I'm not talking about everybody ever media. I'm talking
about everybody in Philly is just on board. That's the
point I'm making. I get it. Everybody in the house
is like, we're good here. Don't worry, we're good here.

(48:31):
This is what we do. We have meet low mondays.
It's crazy. We have TALKO Tuesday. Mam makes Shepherd pile
on Wednesday, we are the pizza on Thursdays. We get
Chinese on Friday. This is this is what we do here.
We got crazy ass Jalen Carter. We got cool. We
have the coolest kind of most laid back quarterback. Right now,
people don't want to say we have the coolest most
laid back image type quarterback in the NFL of Jayalen Hurts.

(48:54):
You ever see him yelling and screaming? You ever hear
about him doing anything stupid?

Speaker 3 (48:57):
You ever hear him saying the wrong when the last
time you've been out to take a quote from him
and run with it.

Speaker 2 (49:01):
He did. He gets it, well, he did say last
year he gets it that nick sire. He took the
straight jacket off of him, which made me think, did he?
He had to mean handcuffs right like straight? I mean straight.
Handcuffs are wildly different. They are wildly different things. But
that's how crazy they are in that house. This is
the point I'm making. It's a crazy house. You're you're

(49:21):
not gonna understand it. But if it works, if you
keep seeing new cars in the driveway and you keep
seeing him doing dishes to the home, and they got
an in ground swimming pool now and they throwing parties
out of the good and you're still standing across the
street like I hate them. Why does it work? It
works for them. That's what this Philly thing is. It
works for them. I tell you what. Let look, let

(49:44):
the local news come with the police outside. I would
be that I always knew something about that.

Speaker 10 (49:51):
They always got always Yeah, see, I knew it was something.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
I knew they was funny acting. Then I tell you, baby,
I said the neighbors over there was fact the funny.
Now ye at the door, I don't think that's gonna happen, man,
it just and I held out as long as I could. Yes,
I was upset about the Sireconn thing, but I've also
said I've also said, for the last three year, sitting
on in this chair in this network, I don't understand.
I don't dislike him as much as everybody else seems

(50:19):
to like. He's a little quirky. Yeah yeah, his old
head coach had to hold him back from another player
and back. Okay, I've seen cousins but have to hold
each other back, for one trying to punch their brother
and Thanksgiving dinner, which one of those Cousins was the
most the highest paid member in charge of the family.
Like that's the difference.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
But guess what if Howie Roseman and those guys don't
care if the front list and that's another thing. If
they not tripping, if the parents aren't tripping, then don't
talk about the two kids wrestling in the backyard. Did
Dad stick gets head out the window and say something,
then you sit your ass over there and shut up.
Then don't worry about what they doing. That's what I
feel like this Philly thing is. It's like, listen, y'all
can think what y'all want.

Speaker 6 (50:56):
Man.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
Then, like you said, we added two coordinators and we
had a who I now think is the best all
around running back in football. And here we are with
all our crazy crap, with all our with our wild coach,
right with our with our quarterback who can't throw?

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Who who? If he went to the AFC a bunch
of fifth flamm and fluff, is it wrong Jalen Hurts
went to the a f C. How many we know?
If you just said that guy, we.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
Know Mahomes is the guy. Come on, man, all right,
I'm come on, Mahomes is the dude. Bro, I've come on, man,
I'm backed all this homes the last year. Now, I
come on, I get to do this. He's the greatest
quarterback on the planet right now, that's playing right now,
that's playing right now.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
Is nobody better than.

Speaker 4 (51:38):
No?

Speaker 2 (51:38):
I'm just saying that. But see that's the talk though,
that's the point I'm making this with all the talk,
with everything people say, with all the stuff we gotta
deal with here, what our crazy receiver, what our crazy coach?
Would our young rookies got be wilding up with a
what an older corner who still think he young but
still plays tough, still talks track, still gets to the fights,
still gets personal. Look what the guy with a rookie

(51:59):
corner where we're caught it from Toledo?

Speaker 5 (52:01):
Right?

Speaker 3 (52:01):
Come on, man, this mix of people is so Philly
like this is this why it's like the Giants. When
the Giants won Super Bowls, you could just look at
that team and go, man, that's so Giants. When the
Yankees were winning the World Series in the late nineties
and early two thousands, did you really just looked at.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
That team and said, well, it works for them. Man,
They're bringing in Dale Strawberry, d.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
White Good and all these guys that would just set
it off for cocaine and for drugs and for getting
rest and all this other stuff. And people go, wow,
But guess what, don't worry about what we're doing over
here in the pin strips.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
You know what we're doing. We're playing up those they
pointing to the were hanging, those were walking around. They
don't have that yet. They don't have that. But if
they do. But if they do, y'all all gotta be
quiet for the next year. You can't say nothing can
guarantee I will not be quiet for the next year,
and guarantee you come on, let's make a small bat
that make a fun.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
Let's make a fun back on what on on angles
in Sirianni when I got you. If they win the
Super I'm gonna tell you, man, calm down. If they
win the super Bowl, you can't trash that man for
one year on the show stop it.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
There's why why not? There's no why you can't just
get him in. It's probably if you win the super
Bowl because because Biggest, he's gonna do something that pitches
me off. He's gonna come out there and show some
discercy and attack shows them looking like you played in
the game and just try to be the same. I
love the interview and when they came here to play,
when they played on I got to kick out him

(53:22):
in the president. You know what legitimately looks like Jalen
Hunts is the coach of that team and Siriani is
the player. And you know what, that's exactly how they
like it. I can't exactly how they like it. I
can't imagine everybody is. I just can't. I just can't.

Speaker 3 (53:36):
You know, you know what, no, no, fifty three guys
what probably forty coaches, probably eighty front office. You know,
right there in the cross there's the probably people that
feel like you. But I guess what. Guess what they
ain't gonna say nothing. You bet you just sit still,
get your paycheck and be part of this. Be part
of something.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
Winnings all and you know, and it does. There has
been this very powerful voice in sports that is, in
my opinion, been trying to solve problems which do not exist.
Stop listening to Twitter, because when you listen to Twitter,
you end up with stuff as dumb as the idea

(54:16):
I'm about to tell you about. In just a moment,

I'm at Martin Wiss, VJ at Big Vanilla Funny VJA.
You got any tweets over there? Body y, I'm trying.
I'm trying to change my joint. Man.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
I got you know me. I come with all types
of nicknames. Man, Yes, right here was really really ill man.
Sean Harnish at Guppy Money says Jalen Hurts is the
Jason Tatum of the NFL, and I don't know how
I feel about that. Hey, Sean, if you're still listening.
Number one, thank you for tuning in. We appreciate you, brother,
thank you very much. Man one love hope you and
all your family is good. God bless home me. But

(55:18):
you elaborate on that one, Sean. I want to dig
into that because should I be taking that as a
slight Jason Tatum is an NBA champion. Jason Tatum is
a gold medal Olympian. Jason Tatum is one of the
best players in the league. So saying he's the Jalen
Hurts Jalen Hurts is the Jason Tatum of the NFL,
I need more clarification of where he's gone with that,

(55:39):
because Jason Tatum has a wide range of where people
have him and the way people see and think of him.
I mean, hell, I forget who it was on Gilderena's
podcast just called him soft like two weeks ago Soning,
Oh yeah, B Jennings.

Speaker 2 (55:53):
It was B Jennings, but be Jenna Jason La actually too,
I'll Hearatum. This game was fine, right, He's just boring.
But we said that about Tim Duncan, Okay, but the
differences the differences with was boring. There was also other
wildly entertaining personalities in the league, and people I think

(56:15):
Jalen plays with Jayalen Brown. I think people look at
Jason Teddam and be like, why aren't you more like
it's a Paris feeling. We did it. Yeah, yay, yeah, yay.
Well here's the thing that's great.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
That's a great point you do make about the personality wise,
because I covered the Lakers and Celtics a few weeks
ago and.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Got a chance to talk to Jalen Brown. You talk
about but very engaging, but stone I mean stonefaced like
I don't think.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
I don't think I've ever seen him smile like like
for real. He just but very very engaging, very cordial,
very mannable like he talking and short conversation, but you
could tell it was like wow, like his energy energy
coming off and was this is.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Me like chill like cool like they don't. But here's
the thing.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
When they had all that, they got beat in the finals,
got rid of some of that personality.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
That's all championship. So speaking of Jason Tatum and him
not playing in the Olympics, they have played ten minute
quarters over there. Adam Silver watched this over the summer
and said, you know what, maybe we should do the two.

Speaker 9 (57:28):
The NBA is the only league that plays forty eight minutes,
and I would be I am a fan of four
ten minute quarters. I'm not sure that many others are.
I mean, putting inside what it means for records and
things like that. I think that a two hour format
for a game is more consistent with sort of modern

(57:48):
television habits. I don't think people in arenas aren't asking.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
You know, Okay, so that's on the Dan Patrick show.
Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA. Like, the conversation about
where NBA ratings are is one that I just feel
like the NBA itself is. It's the tail chasing the dog.

(58:12):
You are sitting there like, I would not be giving
any credence to these levels of conversations that happen on
social media. Instead of convincing everybody, no, no, no, we
need to do this, we need to do that, why
don't you just talk about how your product doesn't suck?
Like I get you watch half the game? Sure can't
full of games, they'll be blowouts, They'll be'll be like,

(58:33):
this isn't any fun, Like last night the Spurs beat
the Bucks by like twenty five points. You know it's
not it's not very entertaining. Lakers beat the Wizards about
forty two nights ago. But every game, every Sunday in
the NFL, we see the Jaguars down the stretch light.
This year, they didn't come close in the game except
for that one against minnesot They were getting pounded by
thirty freaking points. Right, Nobody cares. Nobody talks about how

(58:57):
bad this product is. Christmas Day, NFL was tab ball.
All of those games stunked horrible. All of them were
terrible games. You know what the NFL does. They don't say,
you know what, next trips, we are going to get
you guys a better line. I'll get you a better slate.
The NBA does not need no ten minute quarters. Twelve
minute quarters works just fine. When Lebron James was in

(59:17):
year ten and running this league. What he needs is stars,
stars and storylines. If you have stars and storylines, guess
what all all of the rest of us will fall apart.
You want to get attention today's TV economy, put somebody
on my TV. I feel like I have to make
appointment viewing. That's what the NBA has not done. But

(59:38):
you know what Christmas Day, you know what I felt like?
I had to do. I felt like I had to
load up Netflix because Patrick Mahomes was playing football, and
I'm not missing a game that Patrick Mahomes played. This
was soft. This is soft. Adam silver Is, he's not
a good commissioner. Gus sor Ry, this is soft.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
He did an interview about a year ago where he
said when he was an underling, I'm not sure what
level it was, when he was an underling under David Stern,
that he thought the league was too physical in the
late nineties and moving into the early two thousands. So
his idea that he was in line to become commissioner
or be something important to the NBA as far as
the NBA front offices of the league in New York City,

(01:00:19):
he already knew he was gonna make this thing softer.
Ten minute quarters, What are we doing? Weren't they talking
about eliminating teams like five or six years ago before
COVID talking about contracting the league and taking teams away
from cities. And there were some people with Lebron James
one of them, and yeah, that'd be a great idea.
We need to contract the league and take away like
what like this is real? This is soft. How about

(01:00:42):
making guys play? How about not letting guys sit out
just because they don't feel like playing or the coaching
staff doesn't feel like playing them on back to back knights.
This back to back Knight thing is crazy. So ten
minute quarters? Are we still going back to back knights?
Are we still doing load management? You're taking time off now?

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
The game now, and he's talking about TVs and viewings
and bro, just put the damn product on the court
and stop worrying about all this. Ain't nobody going nowhere.
These sponsors aren't going nowhere. Fans ain't going nowhere. I
had a general conversation with two gentlemen and shooting pool
the other night. I told guys, guys, the NFL does
what they want to do. Do you think they do?
You think they not gonna do what they wanna do? Why?

(01:01:20):
Because guess what we're gonna do in July. Load up
our fantasy teams, buy all our hats, borrow our jersey,
buyrow our tickets, go tailgate, go to the game. We're
not gonna not do it. They know. The NBA feels
like you care way too much about a lot of
this stuff out here, and if you just put the
product on the court.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Listen, you got me back. I've been a big voice
about Yeah, I left there and be a man.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
I just kidd But now I've been watching the leave.
There's some good teams, some good young players. Man, I
want to disrespect them. It's not they fault. They really
want to come out here ball. Put a nick game on,
they want to play. Put a pistike game on Motorcade
All Star forty bands the other night. I have to
find out put them on. They want to play. There's
still a lot of that in the league. I just
think this is then.

Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
When I heard this, I'm like, wow, ten minute quarters,
you know, two hour game?

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
What are we doing? It is based though, it's just
a barnum and barelyification of the NBA. I had a
four point line. Why don't you you know what I'm saying,
it's coming. If you hit from half court, it's five.
You know, just changing it like they're going to them.
They just just just changing the game fundamentally, like when
you look at the basketball pitch clock in baseball, it's

(01:02:21):
so it changed the game a little bit. I thought
it was good, but the reality of it, like it
did make it a better TV product, because there was
no guarantee a baseball game was gonna be two hours
long or five hours long. You had no clues like
going to see a movie. You know what I'm saying.
It might be an hour and night. It might be
an hour and thirty minutes, might be three and a

(01:02:42):
half hours, depends on if Titanic or rom Com. But
you know tomorrow. I've always liked that about baseball, that
you don't know how long it's gonna be. That's why
I don't mind going. I love going to a game.
I look, but I don't know what it's told the
reality You still that's cool with me. Bill don't know
when it's gonna be over, just by the nature of
the way the score is kept in the game about clock.
But I do understand the idea, like, Okay, we're trying
to fit this into a TV window. We want to

(01:03:04):
get it more standardized. For a regular nine inning game
should have relatively the same length as all the other
nine inning games, Like you know, it should be about that.
But in the NBA, you mean to tell me, shaving
off two minutes per quarter is going to now all
of a sudden draw people back to the game. No,

(01:03:26):
it won't like in baseball you had a real argument,
you had legitimate minutes of time passing or you know,
not min down, but forty five seconds, fifty seconds of
time passing as a guy scratches crosses, spitting his tobacco
and the other guys adjusted stepping out. That's a long
amount of time where there literally is no action. Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Yeah, you're right, guys are just in the outfit standing
literally is no action in good sunflower.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
See, that's not what's happening in the NBA. It's not
like you just sit there from the fourth minute to
the second minute of the second quarter and started and
you can't dribble anymore. You know what I'm saying. It's
not that we're just sitting waiting for something to happen.
It's ridiculous. What the NBA need should do one hundred
is leaning into these Cooper flags, lean into these guys,

(01:04:14):
these young built already kind of because what the hell
takes about the w NBA in the last three years
to where we talk about it on the national stage.
It wasn't the amount of team, No, it wasn't the
length of the game. It wasn't the game televins there
was on ESPN before. What changed Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Rees,
and people wanted to see Caitlyn Clark firsts Angel Rees.

(01:04:38):
And as a result, the entire league rose on the
tide of those two boats, women on those two boats.
And you know what, even better than that, I knew
who Cameron Brink was because of watching basketball, because of them.
Don't remember, I don't remember. So you end up being

(01:04:59):
exposed to all of these players because Andrew Rees and
Kaylin Clark got you in the door. Who in the
NBA who has not been in the league for damn
near fifteen years is getting you in the door? The
answer nobody. They that's the prime market. They market players,
and they didn't. They didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
They went away from teams. The NBA turned into marketing storylines.
That's why.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
But I called this out ten years ago, that dead said.

Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
When I first got here and I was working with
Mike Hill and Kurt Morris, I just sayed on the
air all the time, he say, I was crazy. They
bro they're they're shifting. We don't talk about the game,
we don't. We don't talk about the game no more.
We talk about these storylines and this IFFs and this
and that. Now it's lists and goats, and we don't
talk about the game anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
That's the problem. That's one of the big problems. Well,
Steve de Seger is about to talk about the game.
This game. The Lakers will watch anybody, all the rest
of them.

Speaker 6 (01:05:44):
Steve, You're up nine games in the NBA. Tonight at
San Antonio, Victor Winb and Yama out due to illness
and the heat leading the Spurs late first half fifty
two forty eight. Houston All Star center Alpera and Shanngon
out again. He missed the Rockets previous game with a
bruised calf's lead at Houston sixty three forty eight. Mid
third quarter at Minnesota, Anthony Edwards out due to illness,

(01:06:06):
Julius Randall out with a groin injury, out for a
few games in fact, and the Wizards are winning at
Minnesota mid third quarter seventy two to sixty six. Washington
has one road win this year, one and twenty one.
Oklahoma City's gonna win again. It's mid third quarter ninety
six sixty six is the thunder lead over Sacramento. A
win tonight would put okc's record at thirty eight and nine.

(01:06:30):
The Lakers late in the first half had a lead
of fifty seven fifty four now at New York Lebron
James with sixteen points. Suns at Blazers is the late
game in a half an hour. Denver won a close
one at Charlotte one oh seven one to oh four.
Triple double again for Nikola Jokic and included seventeen assists.
Indiana's won five of six after a home win over

(01:06:52):
Atlanta today one thirty two, one twenty seven. The Hawks
have lost eight straight. Utah was ten and thirty six,
but beat Orlando one thirteen ninety nine despite thirty seven
points from Franz Wagner. De Men's college basketball on Fox
TV about fifteen minutes left top twenty five matchup as
Yukon still leading at Marquette forty nine thirty eight early

(01:07:13):
second half. Number thirteen Texas A and M leads forty
six thirty six at South Carolina, and predictably, Arkansas coach
John Calipari was booed at Kentucky in his pregame intro.
Twelfth rank Kentucky leads the Hogs twenty seven to twenty
three in the first half. Six ranked Houston had a
thirty three game home winning streak end losing in overtime
eighty two eighty one to number twenty two ranked Texas Tech.

(01:07:36):
At usc the Trojans upset number seven Michigan State seventy
to sixty four. The Spartans had been nine to oh
in the Big Ten Conference. They play at UCLA on Tuesday.
Top ten matchup at Tennessee was all falls in the
second half, sixty four to forty four over Florida.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
The final.

Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
The balls were four and four in conference wins for
number one Auburn, Number four Alabama. Tonight, number two Duke
Rip North Carolina cruise to an eighty seven to seventy win,
and Kansas State trailed by five late first half and
still won at third ranked Iowa State eighty to sixty one.
Baylor beat number eleven Kansas in a comeback eighty one seventy.

(01:08:12):
Baylor was down nineteen at the half. The Chicago Bears
hired Eric b Enemy as running backs coach in the NHL.
Florida and Boston with victories among the games in progress
third period at Ottawa Senators over Minnesota six to nothing,
and Nebraska coach Matt Rule says he will likely cancel
their spring football game so they don't lose players to

(01:08:33):
the transfer.

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Portal because of it. Pick to you, what's your take
on that? Let's go around the room. Yeah, what's your
take on that? Steven v Ja. I'm Carrie.

Speaker 6 (01:08:41):
This is a money maker for the athletic.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Department if massive, If only worked.

Speaker 6 (01:08:45):
In the athletic department, I'd be saying, are you sure
you can't come up with anything else? Because we had
injuries that ruined some players in spring games before.

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
And you kept playing it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:56):
So is it the fact that it was televised or
the fact that anybody could get a ticket and go
in because they were talking about it being a showcase
for other schools to see and then pick off players
from their roster. Right, Maybe the fact that it was
on Big ten network had something to do with it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
When I saw this today and I sent this to
the gentleman Our Group, check because this really jumped that out.
I mean, I'm fifty to fifty on it because I
understand what he's saying, because my first thought was, well, yeah,
you lose players, man are coming out of spring practice.
Guys can sense how much burn they're gonna get in
the spring game. They'll hit the portal before spring practice.
I mean before the spring game. Once they come out
of spring practice. That's normally about three or four games.
When they finished off spring practice.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
They scheduled the spring the spring game on a Saturday,
and have about a week off, and then they get
out there and they hit the game. Kids hit the
portal then. So I thought about that the money aspect,
to me, those Steve, these schools make so much money.
You're not missing the spring game. You know, you're not
gonna have to shut down to college because he didn't
play the spring game. I got what.

Speaker 6 (01:09:51):
All programs don't all make money. Nebraska would be an
exception in the midway exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
That's a different way if he wants to April twenty seven,
twenty four, Nebrassa's last spring game, sixty thousand people, Yeah,
bought tickets to go to that. That's a sellout.

Speaker 6 (01:10:07):
I would add the college football, as we've seen, really
doesn't have anybody in charge of it. So the fact
that there's people going to the transfer portal, that you're
going to lose off your roster after the spring game.
Perhaps again like last year when it was six players
went into the portal afterwards. I'm not sure you have
to go to the transfer portal anymore to transfer. I

(01:10:28):
don't think there are any rules, So I'm not sure
there's a relation between your spring game and losing people
the very next week. You could lose them at any
time in the summer before your season starts.

Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
Right on, the top fifty programs in the nation, the
top sixty programs in the nation are not going to
have to shut down operations because they don't get the
money that year from a spring game.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Stop it. It's essentially losing a home game. It's essentially
just taking a home game. Well, then take a home.

Speaker 6 (01:10:56):
I'm just saying, if you work in the athletic department
and you're not allow coach saying, isn't there another way
around this? I see what you're wanting, coach, But for
crying out loud, this is not only a tradition. This
is part of our regular income.

Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
That's all most and some coaches Steve care about that,
and some coaches they're there to win football game.

Speaker 6 (01:11:15):
Okay, how about we say it affects the coaches income
that he scratches a home date.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
It should I mean that's what brings revenue to the business.
Like like that Wood brings revenue to like the Nebraska
volleyball program. He's able to have the event in the
football stadium because the football program has the football stadium.

Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
I just don't think this bring Like I said, I'm
fifty to fifty on it. I'm not disagreeing with either argument.
I'm looking at both arguments. As a football coach, I
feel where I feel where he's coming from.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
He's priority. He's like, hey, listen, all this business stuff,
y'all talking. I don't care about that stuff. I'm here
to win football. I'm different from the guy up in
Boulder that on TV and tell you this is business.
This is about he's he's a guy. I'm coaching ball.
You guys handle all this other stuff. Okay, I don't
want guy, I don't want to players being coach. I'm
calling off the spring.

Speaker 6 (01:12:07):
Considering what Nebraska has been the last ten and ten
twenty years, they have less margin for error, so to speak,
as far as losing guys off the.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Roster, and they used to be the kid.

Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
Including and remember they're not in the Big eight and
they're not in the Big ten. In Big twelve anymore.
You're in the Big ten, baby, so you have You're right,
you have no you have no room for era because
the top four teams there.

Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
You're not even close to correct. You're not even mind. Sure,
Nebraska's in the middle of the road of the of
the of the Big ten right now. So I see
both sides. If they cancel it, I'm not mad at it,
but I just listen. It just is another another chapter
in the book of the biggest problem in college football.
It's not an il, it's not coaches, it's not players,

(01:12:51):
it's this damn transfer portal window, and the window.

Speaker 6 (01:12:55):
Needs to be a justin I'm with you in overall
to that is I repeat, nobody's actually in charge exactly, because.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
There was a guy this year who was like, oh,
I'm not going to give you the I forget the
school and the player. But there was a player Hanson, Yeah,
it was Wisconsin safety. He tries to get into the portal.
Coach that you can't go into the portal. He's like,
you know what, You're not not gonna be my coach
next year anyway, I will portal my ass off.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
And you sure didn't the portal to me. I would
make the transfer portal one date. You get one date
to check. I don't I know all the you get
one window. Widen the window.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Not during bowl season.

Speaker 3 (01:13:28):
No, no, not doing bowl season, not during ball season,
off bold season. Had your team has to be done playing,
like your school has to be done playing. So if
your ball's on December twenty first, your kids are allowed
to hit the portal at that point. But the cutof
date to me would be February one. It would give
them enough time, give them to January the early signing period.
At February one. Guess what whatever happens in spring practice,

(01:13:52):
young man, happens in spring practice.

Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
I'll say this to I know we got a break
since so I'll be quick here.

Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
But if if your coach Rule, and you know that
there's some kids on your team that are kind of
like on the margin, they are not sure if they
want to be here or not, so you cancel the
spring game to keep those guys around. Like, if I'm
coach Rule, I like go, you know, like if you're
on the fence, if.

Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
You have it to Cobanquary one. What problem coach Rule
wants to he doesn't want to be the one to
go he's trying to keep his job and its order
to keep his job as well though in college, and it's.

Speaker 6 (01:14:22):
Not like they're gonna not gonna practice or have tackler
and scrimmages.

Speaker 2 (01:14:25):
It just would be this spring game, which last year
was on Big ten Network, and so on and so forth,
like Michigan Spring game, Ohio State Spring game, all these
spring games. This is what the transferportal should be. And
we'll wrap after this. From the zero, the moment the
National Championship game has four zeros on the clock in
the fourth quarter overtime period, transferportal when the opens thirty

(01:14:48):
days from that moment it closes, that's it. That's the window. Congratulations,
you have thirty days to figure out where you want
to spend your next year. That's what I would that.

Speaker 6 (01:14:56):
Realistically, it would be less than thirty days because semesters
begin in and theoretically people are enrolling in a university
going to the new place.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Steve, I'm saying, I got you.

Speaker 6 (01:15:09):
Versities and transfers only happen when university improved approved transfers
and they transfer students, not just athletes.

Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Sure, coming up next, we'll play a game of who
you got with Ian I'm looking forward to a pal
five in a row. Here we go, Martin White's Beja
Hosky Fox Sports Football Saturday, Martin vide coming to you
live from you tirerack dot Com Studios. Hit us up
on social media with your takes on our takes and
also your submissions for who you Got. It's time now,

(01:15:39):
all right? Who you Got?

Speaker 4 (01:15:40):
Today's edition is Pro Bowl, so we don't have any
actual NFL games going on today, So it's the Pro
Bowl going on this.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
You really know what you? I knew you was gonna
try something after losing four in a row. A right,
go ahead, you're talking about try something. It's the Pro
Bowl game. That's a pretty narrow, narrow roster of people.
It could be it's the best players in the league. Yeah,
over all, then the best player in the league and
Russell Wilson.

Speaker 4 (01:16:02):
You're a all right, We'll start with this clue. This
guy was drafted in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Drafted twenty nineteen. I don't know me, Michael Parsons, Nope,
I don't have one for that. No words, all right,
next one.

Speaker 4 (01:16:21):
He was a fifth round draft pick, so twenty nineteen
fifth rounder. He's in the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
Twenty nineteen fifth round draft Nico Collins. Nope, was he
a fifth rounder? I don't know name. He's a late pick.
He's a late pick. I don't know if. I don't
know if he's the fifth.

Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
Next clue, all right, this is his first Pro Bowl
he's ever made. He also was named a second team
All Pro this season.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Twenty nineteen second team All Pro. This is his first
time being named in All Pro. Was this year first
time second team All Pro for the first seven second
team All Pro? Who had a good year out of now,
I know that's that's where I'm kind of going nineteen
give you this too.

Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
He had eleven and a half sacks this past season.
That's it, Ben Gigger.

Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
That was awesome. Play my music, Mary and turn it
up and be honest.

Speaker 4 (01:17:22):
I did not expect you to get it off of
the sacks former Dolphin, former Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
So I guess that was the reason. But as a
current Viking, Yeah, but he had such a good year
that you're looking back like, how did my team let
him go? Good point? Good good point? The rest of
the clues here.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
He played college football at Wisconsin, so I thought that
might lead you, guys towards TJ. Watt or something like that.
But no, he recorded two interceptions this past season. He
had a pick six on Aaron Rodgers this season he
plays for the Vikings. And last but not least, he's
known for his long, luscious mane of blonde hair.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
Yep, and he got a really cool girlfriend. His girlfriend's
really cool. Who is she does? Yeah, well, he was
on when Dolphins when he did hard knocks and and
he was like one of the side players. They followed
him and stuff like that. Now she's actually really really
I gotta give it to you that that was. I'm
impressed he got that one, so thank you. Brother appreciated
to it, just because it's like Damni had to let

(01:18:14):
him go.

Speaker 3 (01:18:16):
I didn't bake. He didn't bake me the first time.
He knows how he repeated to see even get me
a game. I made my statement about that. It's it
was a money issue. No, they didn't let him go.
They just couldn't pay him. They wanted to keep them,
they couldn't pay them in Minnesota. Put the money on
the table. The guy was drafted late, as you mentioned,
wasn't making no bread and took the money and I
was I'm not matt and went back and played for

(01:18:36):
the coach that was the defensive coordinator when he got
drafted for the Dolphins. Excise me, the head coach. It's
not a defensive coordinator.

Speaker 2 (01:18:42):
Remember the head coach for the Dolphins when they drafted
him was one mister Flores, who's the defensive coordinator. And
he's the guy that found him.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
He's the guy that developed him. And then when he
became a free agent, Minnesota had the money. Miami didn't have.
That's we couldn't keep Wilkins. We didn't have the money
to keep him, so we didn't let him get away. Yes,
it was I didn't want to let him go, but
I was very happy. I'm on the air. I'm very
happy with this, see that because I liked them as
a player that picked six with Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
That's over across the pond.

Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
Right Yeah, yeah, him and him and alex Anzeloni. I
always have a hard time telling apart with the long
blonde hair, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
Said all white people look alike. What a helmet on
and blonde? Yeah, I'll dive there with the helmet on
and blonde long hair, Yes, Clay Matthews and I to
keep naming him huh market yeah, and said I did.
I didn't like how that sounded. Well, you stepped in it, man,
so he walking, Okay, we're fine. We're Fox Sports Radio. Man.

(01:19:34):
We can do stuff like that. We don't get in
trouble for stuff like that. I will say, sometimes that's
stringy hair. Ponytail holder, buddy, ponytail hold. That's good. You'd
be a man bund guy if you have long hair.
I maybe coming up next NFL playoff fix.

Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
That's right, and we're broadcasting live from the tire rack
dot Com studio tire rack dot com. Well, if you
get there with an unmaxed election fast tree shipping freorid
as a projection over ten thousand, recommend the installers tirerac
dot com swey that tire buying should be so VJ
we normally during the football season. We'll use this opportunity

(01:20:13):
to go ahead make our underdog picks pick the games up.
No man, no more con we only have one game
left and I don't even well, I guess they don't either,
and now it's the Pro Bowl games. But ian on
to recap how I got slaughtered in the NFC Championship
game breakdown, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:20:32):
Yeah, yeah, tough week for Martin, not so much for VJ.
This was just complete. You guys were opposites on every
single line we went for. So VJ went four and
oh Martin, oh to four.

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
Love it.

Speaker 4 (01:20:44):
So this is a huge swing in terms of the
overall one game left. We're gonna be doing props next week.
It's gonna be a huge thing. Martin will have a
chance to make his way back. But VJ with a
commanding lead right now. So we'll go through each of
them Commanders Eagles, Martin, you picked the commanders. They got
a absolutely destroyed by the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
You know what I knew fifty five. I knew after
that first drive they had no shot. Yeah, after the
seventeen eighteen play drive ends in a field goal attempt,
they go for him fourth down twice. I'm like, this
team is cooked. Well, Lions really should be ashamed of themselves. Yeah, yeah, honestly.

Speaker 4 (01:21:19):
But this next one here was honestly a real kicker
because the Jade and Daniel Jayden Daniels turnover line. Martin,
you said no, BJ you said yes, and he did
end up throwing one kind of in garbage time.

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
He just heaved one down. I was way for it
got picked off. I was way of such a joke.

Speaker 3 (01:21:35):
And matter of fact, I'm watching I'm actually watching that
game with my videographer, photographer h Nicole, who's there.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
We're watching that game. And I kept and I kept saying,
I kept saying, yo, hey, hey, hey, hey, I needed
to turn over. I need to turn off. She's like, oh, yeah,
that's right. You and Martin were betting. I said, yo, look,
and I'm writing it down as they're going out to
I just needed to turn the ball over. It and I
sweeped his game. So yeah, he gave it to me.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
And then the next one, Jalen Hurts passing yards one
hundred and ninety point five now mark and actually pointed
out last week how he only did that? Was it
like once in the entire regular season?

Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
Oh, in the regular season the regular season.

Speaker 4 (01:22:08):
And the last time it actually was against Washington was
against so that was something.

Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
Yeah, that was something to know, Boiler, because he did
it again. Boiler for next week, do it again, do
it again? I'm right back.

Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
Yeah, he sure did it again. To point VJ there
and then the last one, Bill's versus Chiefs. The line
was two and a half two and a half points
favored for the Chiefs. They won by three, so that
was as close as it could have been. Half a
point there you lost by Martin, but but point VJ there,
So the overall score is going to be Martin, you're

(01:22:41):
seven and six VJ ten and three, So three point
lead for VJ. Still though next week we're going to
be doing the overall game spread.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
We're doing individual props stuff like that, as we did
a little bit here year, like yeah, sure or two
of them a good one too.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
And then also over under on the national anthem as
normally said it ninety seconds.

Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
I'm sure we'll have some segment where we kind of
look at some of those one better. I just love
I love national and get it.

Speaker 4 (01:23:09):
Cried during the national ath guaranteed, Sirianni watch well, we
saw him do it once.

Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
He will know he would. I think sat quanald cart
I've seen cry in the national anthem. I think Chris
Jones will crying the national Hey, Chris Jones has been
crying like yeah in the divisional round, take.

Speaker 2 (01:23:24):
The taking over it?

Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
Would you guys cry in the national anthem? Not the
super Bowl. You're about playing a super Bowl. I think
if I'm playing, it was into it.

Speaker 2 (01:23:31):
Not a chance. Yeah, if you're playing, I cried doing
a national anthem I was in high school. If you
were coming, yeah, probably would. I mean, I'm remember so
from the military, so that may mean something different than
me not even being funny. I'd be so locked in
I wouldn't even notice the national anthem was being played,
Like seriously, I would be so locked in that honestly,
it may be singing I get it. I'd be locked

(01:23:55):
you miss Whitney Houston singing the natural anthem, I get him.
I'd be so I really would. I'd be show locked.
I wouldn't even hear it. I'd be shocked. I wouldn't
even hear now Afterwards, after the game, I cry like
a girl got dumped on prom night. I'm in the moment,
winnor lose.

Speaker 3 (01:24:08):
I can play a super Bowl every every moment everything
leading up, even as a fan bro Like once I
make the food, I tell you, even when I when
I throw a party, I guess listen once once the
once it like really airs like at the top of
the Areca K kickofs is like three twenty one, three twenty.
But once three o'clock hits, leave me alone, everybody. The
food's there, drink's are here, the yeah West Coast time,
but at three.

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Pm, leave me out. I want to watch all of that.

Speaker 3 (01:24:32):
Well, welcome to Da Da Da dah, and the camera
panning around the guys were the intro. I want to
see all of it until the last minute. And then
I watched a post game on NFL Network where the
coffetti's left on the field there's only four people in
the background, and people still coming to sit out there
and talk to the commentation, like I watch it all man, So.

Speaker 4 (01:24:48):
I feel like not a lot of people do. I mean,
you know a lot of people do, but a good
amount of people don't. But then will hit like you know,
April May. People are dying for anything like that, you know,
but we're on right now. I'd watch every minute of
the broadcast.

Speaker 2 (01:25:03):
I don't know what happened to me around because if
Tom Brady and the Buccaneers won the twenty nineteen twenty
twenty season Super Bowl, right, yeah, yeah, the COVID year,
I was it the.

Speaker 3 (01:25:14):
Twenty one Okay, won't that game yet?

Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
Okay? After that Super Bowl and I've never ever carried
water for Tom Brady, Like I think he's great, but
I've never been a I was a fan, nor negative.
I just I just watched the game. I didn't feel
any attachment to tom Brady for some reason from that
Super Bowl and from every Super Bowl there on. Watching

(01:25:39):
him win and hold the trophy up, I teared up,
and I have since. I didn't want to like this,
even when I lost money. It's so I don't know
what it is, but there's something about watching all these
grown men come together to achieve a goal over the
span of time that this this touches me in a
place that maybe I'm just older now, maybe I don't

(01:26:00):
know what does have something to do with it, but
it's like it really like I saw I was legit
like like watching tom Brady like and I was like,
I don't even like tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
And then it was like myhomes all these times and
it's like I'm not I like Patrick Mahomes, like sure,
but I'm not like I'm a Saints fan, like he's
the only team I'm really truly a fan of. Like
I like watching guys play because they're entertaining, but like
win or lose. I don't normally live and die with
it unless it's you know, the saying to the University
of Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:26:29):
I have a tear moment to Kobe's Boston championship, but
more than that, his Orlando championship, because he did it
without that was the first without shock. That one got
me when I watched that when he's on the floor
and he's got his jersey in his mouth and he's
bounding these down low and he's watching Orlando. He's looking
up at that clock, and that camera view catches him
looking up at that clock. That and Steph Steph coming

(01:26:53):
back from two to one down to Boston was because
you could see it because it started coming out of
him right when he notices when he realizes they got
that one in game six and his dad, his dad's
there right there to bank and you can just see
it in his face.

Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
And what Martin is saying.

Speaker 3 (01:27:09):
If I can dive deeper into it, when you follow
the stuff the way we do, you see the whole
totality of the end, right, Like we don't miss a game,
we don't miss highlights, we don't miss presp car. I
don't know anybody that watches more press conferences than Martin,
and in this business, I'm a press conference for that.
Like I'm just sitting. You are gotta dose YouTube. You
can watch any coaches press conference you want to watch

(01:27:31):
in any sport, as long as there was recorded, and
it's you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:35):
See all of that all year long, and then it
gets to the end. It was the same with Michigan
and college football, with.

Speaker 3 (01:27:42):
Everything they went through just to get to the points
to beat Ohio State. Okay, cool. Then you get to
the college football playoff. You have the blunder game against TCU.
Al right, bet, and then you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
Gotta come back and then now it's the Scott Stallions
in the videotape and then the signs and now you're
watching all these shows every morning saying they shouldn't be allowed.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
I don't think they should be allowed the college football
playoffs is what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
You get, you get all of that, and then you
get to that end. And even in the rose Ball win,
what all Harborough said was bet right. Remember starting to
Joe Klatt, Hell, how do he is a field? He
just goes bet?

Speaker 3 (01:28:14):
I knew, right, I said, No, he's saving it for
when he's holding the real the last trophy is when
he'll give you that moment to me, Blake korm scoring
that touchdown. I got emotional in the overtime touchdown run
where he spins runs through to Alabama defenders and scoring
that touchdown. That those are moments that that kind of
that kind of touched me. So I feel you on
that with a what bray Brady won so much time by.

Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
That time, it was justly it's teams that you're a
fan of that like will elicit an emotional response. These
are just people that I just watched. But you're not
a fan of anything, No, Martin, that's the things A
fan of University of Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:28:49):
I'm a fan of a lot like rock fan fan
of me to University of Michigan basketball.

Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
Yeah, football. I just kind of question what you still
that's all? You know what I know? Tell you just
you just said, you know, you know how you don't
like Tom Brady he went to your school because I
didn't grow up I didn't grow up with attached to
Michigan at all. I had no Michigan attachmentuntil I actually
went there. You did tell me what you wanted to
go somewhere else. We would go to Tulane University.

Speaker 3 (01:29:10):
You want to go that's right back home, back in
New Orleans, back in Okay, I wanted to go Why.

Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Did you go to Tulane fifty thousan dollars or.

Speaker 3 (01:29:19):
It's funny when you ask people why they ain't going
to certain schools and normally comes.

Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
Out to the tuition. It was cheaper to go to
It was cheaper than cheaper to go here over a
four year period, one hundred thousand dollars more.

Speaker 3 (01:29:30):
And oh wow, better school. Oh yeah, well of course
we know that. So okay, but yeah, normally you're right,
it's about a fan. But I'm trying to think if
there's anybody that I wasn't a fan of that I saw.

Speaker 2 (01:29:39):
When and I was telling you every super Bowl, every
Super Bowl, maybe maybe the streak will break, maybe the
street will break, if Sirianni's the one holding it, and
I'll still probably be like this guy's a yeah, yeah, yeah,
tears of sadness.

Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
What would be cool if you recorded that, mar and
if you just really if you really just sucked it up,
you really want to suck it up?

Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
Bro? If Sarrion he wins, record your reaction, man, reaction
the post. Let us have a fun with it. But
I will never in my life record myself crying and
post it on the internet. I will never in my life.
Nobody cares, man, I just want everybody to know if
somebody if see a video of me post I've been hacked,
it's after he stole my phone. Yeah, it was just

(01:30:20):
post on it. Like I want to skip a lists
where he's just fuming at.

Speaker 3 (01:30:24):
The anybody, anybody that's listening right now that's gonna be
at the party Martin's gonna be at. If you can
trust me, He's not gonna sue you or nothing like that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
Just get that for me.

Speaker 7 (01:30:35):
I mean, are you not going to cry your wedding?
Because there's obviously gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
Be like video right and people are gonna.

Speaker 7 (01:30:40):
Post it exactly. So are you gonna cry your wedding?
You better cry your wedding?

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
You better see the bride.

Speaker 3 (01:30:48):
When you see your bride for the first time, you
don't think you're going to, but trust me, because that's
the most beautiful she's ever been.

Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
So I'm just planned thing you can't ask Martin. If
not let mart try to plan it. Are you kidding me?
This guy like this is like it's honestly to a
detriment for me, but like when I feel like I
have to perform or like like a wedding is all
eyes are going to be on me, you know what
I'm saying her? And yeah, right, so I being aware

(01:31:16):
that everyone is watching me and recording me and all
of that. Again, very much like the national championee are
national anthem before the super Bowl, I'm going to be
so locked in. I'm just going to be so locked in.
You were so terrible percent Like what do I need

(01:31:38):
to what do I need to execute?

Speaker 7 (01:31:39):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:31:41):
Wedding day? And then after the film have a pollster.
Bro I knew it. I knew it. Where did they
make you? What lab you come from? I knew it.
I knew all along.

Speaker 3 (01:31:50):
It was something I've been doing show. It was four
years with this guy, and I know them longer. We
did a demo show a dashed one night together, I
mean Martin, not been doing radio together.

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
I knew it was something he's not. You should have
seen when locked Locked and you looked at you, look
at you cry after the proposal. No, no, no, you
don't know this guy. You've been here though.

Speaker 8 (01:32:13):
I feel like proposal and you don't have to cry.

Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
For No, you don't have to. But he wasn't gonna
do it.

Speaker 7 (01:32:18):
No wedding, No he and my wedding and my fiance
husband doesn't cry. I'm literally turning around and I'm listening.

Speaker 2 (01:32:25):
First of all, you know, you guys, let's start this
on you didn't here.

Speaker 3 (01:32:28):
First of all, listen, like, did you see how immaculate
he was dressed? First of all, Okay, so when you
get when you get that sharp down to the note
ankle gang, when ankle gang is out, like, I'm surprised
he didn't have a towel on the ground to put
his knee off, not to mess up with slacks.

Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
When I saw that pitch, I'm like, yeah, he he
set this take up from A to Z. This tink
was playing all the way. But that's and that's fine.
But to tell me on your wedding day can I cry?

Speaker 8 (01:32:58):
Is really sick you?

Speaker 2 (01:32:59):
You're you're gonna acting mode?

Speaker 5 (01:33:02):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:33:02):
Well, Smith, bro, I'm not his first. Definitely not Will Smith.
I'll take Denzel. That's a better.

Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
Will Smith's a great actor. I don't know what that meant,
but I'm just throwing that out there.

Speaker 2 (01:33:13):
Quick hot take, quick tap, quick take, right right, right.

Speaker 3 (01:33:16):
Quick go take. I'll just Will Smith top twenty five
rapper of all time. I'll just say I don't that
is a score. Shit, No, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:33:24):
I have less of a bone with it than I
do of Will Smith being a great actor. He's a
really good actor. I think she's progressed amazingly to roy
five rapper of all time. You know what, I I
think sick never gets disgusted about Will Smith. Remember that
time he slept And I'm just kidding on your wedding

(01:33:45):
to be like that right during your wedding day. But
the thing that doesn't get discussed enough about Will Smith
as we and I promise, uh talk about head coaches
coming up. Just been here in the NFL and we're
talking enough sports off our fans levels.

Speaker 4 (01:33:57):
Go.

Speaker 2 (01:33:58):
Will Smith's daughter had a song that was so I
whipped my hair back and I never knew that was her, right,
it was so popular she shaved her head after. Yeah,
that just seems to me that we should have been
investigating something further.

Speaker 8 (01:34:15):
Well, you know that she like he told the backstory
of it?

Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
What was it? It was?

Speaker 8 (01:34:19):
Yeah, So I guess jay Z wanted her to come
out to do a concert, and she was like super old.

Speaker 7 (01:34:24):
You know, it was just like what thirteen fourteenth of
times as peak peak, hormonal, peak puberty whatever. So she
was like, I don't want to go do it, and
we was like, no, you should, you should, And I
think they wanted her to like actually like pressure her
to go do it.

Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
So she shaved her head off. Yeah, I saw it.
I saw that.

Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
Uh, well talked about the red table. Yeah, yeah, they've
mentioned that place. They mentioned that several times. That sounds
like a very.

Speaker 7 (01:34:44):
Well then, because after the whole like whip, she went
to like super all in Indie to like where she
is now.

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
Yeah, so I watched, Well, my thing is this.

Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
I saw the video years after. I'm always late with me?
Do you guys know that? And that's oh wow, that
was Willis Smith.

Speaker 2 (01:34:57):
They look like it hurts. Saw the shave.

Speaker 3 (01:35:00):
Got tired of whipping my damn hair for y'all too.
I'm not a whip machine for you people in society.

Speaker 2 (01:35:04):
Who is she telling that to? Though?

Speaker 3 (01:35:07):
She told Hey that that's normally who people are telling
their trauma too.

Speaker 2 (01:35:12):
And dad, that's that famous person version.

Speaker 4 (01:35:14):
Because if you'd scale it to like, you know, that's
like your dad asking you to come do chores. You're
gonna shave your head to get out of doing chores.

Speaker 2 (01:35:20):
No, but you get tired of being asked to dance
for the family and give it an every damn takeout.
You ain't from the black household. You don't know that's
every single loan in the neighborhood. Maybe you might just
intentionally break the lawnmower right right, Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:35:33):
That is dude, that's a lot of people to like.

Speaker 2 (01:35:35):
It's like hot in the belt.

Speaker 3 (01:35:37):
You ever hide the belt, hide your mom belt so
you don't get tied in the whoopings.

Speaker 2 (01:35:42):
I just prayed one trash can when I was like,
not your soul way. The Lions pretty much put belt
to ask. For most teams in the NFL, they've lost
all their coordinators Aaron Glenn, Ben Johnson and all the
assistants to we have head coaching filled vacancies everywhere but

(01:36:05):
one place, New Orleans. Like I told you guys last week,
joking for a franchise, that's the one I'm a fan of.
But all the new head coaches except for New Orleans
in place who's done their best job assembling their staff
you'll be surprised to find out my answer. We're always
surprised to hear what VJ. Husky has to say. We'll
do that coming up next, coming to you live from

(01:36:26):
the Tireck dot Com studios. You can follow us on Twitter.
I'm at Martin White's, VJ at Big Vanilla Funny. We'll
be answering your tweets coming up shortly. Once VJ stops dancing,
I'll ask him, do you have any tweets that he'd
like to read?

Speaker 3 (01:36:41):
Hey listen, man, Mary, just hey, this is fine a way.
This is shrive right here. This is one of the
best dating songs of all time.

Speaker 2 (01:36:49):
Speaking of which, yeah, this joy right here goes all right, Yes,
some tweets to read. People are so funny, Mari. Whenever
this guy tweets, he always puts so Jason Thompson just
tweet us at hen Hen Joel two L's on the
end said at Fox Sports Radio, both Mario White's and
Big Vanilla Funny would rather be ringside at Royal Rumble
even than even.

Speaker 3 (01:37:08):
Nola on Radio Row or in Nola on Radio Row
right now.

Speaker 2 (01:37:12):
I think that was a jab. I don't know if
it was or not, but I just know it's absolutely
unequivocally false. Yeah. I was first of all that there's
no I'd rather be in New Orleans most of the time,
just in general, Yeah right, just as a standard operating
location at Drago's. Eating those delicious charbor oysters with the

(01:37:33):
garlic and the cheese on them. That's the thing I
find to be the hardest thing to find for a
reasonable price anywhere else in America. It's oysters. Oysters, Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:37:41):
You see them on the menu here in l A.
And you're like, uh, how much is half a dozen
on the.

Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
MP stand for yeah, right, yeah, which means they can
make it up at any time. Well soft season, it's
like you can really check right, well now you can't
with your phone, but most people aren't going to You
just listen to the waiter, right, you're supposed to know
they're talking about. So, speaking of knowing what they talk about,
JJ Reddick said after Bronnie James got a deep fried

(01:38:07):
in frickasied by Tyree Maxey, that he put him in
a bad place, And as far as I can tell VJ,
the bad place was an NBA basketball game. Yep. That
was the bad play, but he earned it. Though he
earned it, right, I mean that's what JJ told us.
He earned it. Well. The thing is, the kid had
been playing way better in the G League, but there's

(01:38:27):
a long gap between the G League and the league. Yeah,
and as much as clever was that on the top
of your head, long gap between the G League and
the league, every so often broken clock. I didn't really
have a huge problem with the idea of using the
fifty fifth pick on Brownie. I don't have a problem

(01:38:48):
that he's going to be in the league or in
the G League, I should say, but this is what
I do have a problem with. You can't come out
here after he gets deep fried and say I put
him in a bad spot, like nah, it's this is
the NBA. Either he can play or he can't, or

(01:39:10):
he can't exactly right. And so I'm fine with the
admission of hey, we tried, it didn't work, but to
put the kid out there it made me wonder, like, Okay,
So take away the idea that obviously first year coach
JJ Reddick may be a coach with more gravitas, isn't

(01:39:35):
This isn't happening in general, right, Just take that out.
Let's just say this would happen on any team with
anything right. I feel like a more experienced coach is
not putting this lightning rod player in a game on
national TV against a guy like Tyrese Maxi. When you

(01:39:57):
have Washington right down the way, that's the time to
get Briannie NBA minutes. And the fact of the matter
is he did play in those NBA minutes. And you
know what, we didn't hear about anything about him playing poorly.
You know why, because Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma are
not about to do you up like Tyrese Maxie is.
And that's exactly what happened to Brinnie in Philly. And

(01:40:20):
so it's like here, if you want people to take
this seriously, I would like just have just just please
pull the curtain back a little bit and take some
of the show out of this, Like are you trying
to develop the kid or not? Because trying to develop
the kid you throw them to the wolves. Mari, you
can sider yourself a smart guy, I Chase, so I

(01:40:41):
think you're I think you're smart guy. Your degrees yeah? Two?
From how many different universities too? What else do the
new universities? The University of Michigan and the University of
Southern California. Wow, that's good stuff right there. Man, it's
big time. So you are a smart guy, right, Okay?
So I need you, I need you.

Speaker 3 (01:40:56):
I need you to come to this side because you
won't do it, and you you really need to. You
want to know why he's in this game the other night.
We know why he's in this game the other night.
We know why he didn't get to Washington.

Speaker 2 (01:41:07):
He's in this game the other night because JJ Reddick
is a is A is a puppet pawn of Lebron.
James play my son. So if that's the case, then
why is Lebron saying let's put him out here against
one of the best guards in the Eastern Conference.

Speaker 3 (01:41:22):
You gotta ask him that. See, that's why I don't
buy I got that, you got it, you got you
gotta Well, he did tweet that his son was low.
This is this is lightweight hilarious. That BRONI is better
than half the guys in the league. He tweeted that.
So maybe he doesn't think that I'm talking to Max.
I got you, But maybe he doesn't ate Max. He's
gonna fry his son. Well, I mean I'm pretty sure

(01:41:45):
he did. You know, I'm talking about last week.

Speaker 2 (01:41:47):
Like, you know, I get what he tweeted five years ago,
but last week was what happened. He's in there. No,
I'm a pull on your car. Won five years ago.
It was just like a year and a half ago.
Two years ago. The most it went five years ago.
Five years ago, he was still in high school. Five
years ago, he was what a sophomore. I don't think
it was five years ago. I got two. I put
it at too, it was like two years ago. But

(01:42:07):
the point I'm making is just this JJ Reddick. It's
so funny because once again sitting and watching this man's
press conference, that's the most different JJ Reddick I've seen
all year long. Was that JJ Reddick that really kind
of had like this sulky look on his face that yeah,
you know, man, I you know, I put him in
a bad spot. I ever heard JJ Reddick take blame

(01:42:29):
for nothing all year long? Already the guy did he
not storm out on the court? You was in the
Lord's name in vain at don't connect going ballistic the
other night.

Speaker 3 (01:42:38):
This is your This is the first time I saw
this stoic man. Yeah, you know, man, I put him
in it. I put him in a back Come on, man,
That's why I don't buy it, because that's the first
type of reaction from him I've seen all year long.
But yeah, you put him in a bad position, because
the position is, like you just said, being on the roster.

(01:42:58):
That's the bad position that he's putting them in the game.
She just never even should never even happen at that
type of level. Going to get a guy like nineteen
quarter at thirty points, that's another thing.

Speaker 2 (01:43:11):
Like if you want to get him NBA reps, like,
I'm fine with it, but don't act like he's supposed
to sit here at like when the fifty fifth plays poorly,
I'm not surprised, right right, I don't need to go.
Why are you putting him in that position? Is like,
that's not like I just started taking guitar lessons on

(01:43:34):
January fifth, did you? Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:43:36):
Good guy?

Speaker 2 (01:43:36):
Say you go play what we'll see. But I started
taking the guitar lessons January fifth. You can't put me
up on stage with actual rock stars right now, right now,
you can't do it because I have no eye. Would
just see up there looking pretty. That's all I can do.
I would be getting. I can now, if you want
to play a song at seventy five percent speed, I

(01:43:59):
can pick it out a little little bit. But when
it comes to actually keeping up, like no, I can't
keep up, and neither can Bronnie. Maybe one day he can,
but until this, until that day, he like meract just practice. Okay,
that's good stuff though, man, that you put the gutar.

Speaker 3 (01:44:17):
I didn't know that, man. So that's what's up. So
now you gotta play. You gotta play something for us
publicly soon, man, not soon, but eventually, yeah, Mary, eventually,
Martin's got to play for us. You can't come in
here and drop that on me and drop that on me.
Tell me you're playing picked up a.

Speaker 2 (01:44:31):
Guitar and I'm never gonna get You're not gonna go
do like an open mic type of deal or talent
contest type of deal that I could come and support
you and watch you do your thing. Man, I've got
to become talented first. That'll be the key. Let's pick
it up with the most talented member in this building
right now, Steve de Seger, you got that jump shot up, bet, Steve,
can you shoot the jumpy? You still got a jumpy Steve.

Speaker 6 (01:44:50):
Uh yeah, with nobody guarding.

Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Sure, okay, that's better than most people.

Speaker 6 (01:44:55):
I just want to hear jj Reddick say that Brownie
is playing so bad those plumbers and firemen could run
circle around.

Speaker 2 (01:45:00):
Oh wait, wait wait wait wait from the top rumbleside.
Yeah that was Oh yeah, help out, damn Steve.

Speaker 6 (01:45:10):
We deal with facts here at the news desk. And
Bronnie James is two for twenty two from the floor
for the season for the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (01:45:17):
Yikes, here we go.

Speaker 6 (01:45:18):
The Lakers went out Anthony Davis and I haven't seen
Bronnie on the floor, but they're still winning at New
York one oh one ninety three with nine minutes to go.
Austin Reeves has twenty three points, lebron James with twenty six.
Believe it or not, the Washington Wizards have just ended
their sixteen game losing streak. They won it in Minnesota
one oh five, one oh three. The Wizards on the

(01:45:38):
road had been one and twenty one for the season.
The Spurs do not have Victor wemban Yama out tonight
due to illness, but they have taken the lead with
five minutes to go at home against the Heat. Ninety
nine ninety six Spurs and the Lake games underway late
first quarter at Portland Blazers twenty five eighteen over the Suns.
Brooklyn beat Houston, oak Aloma City won again, ripping Sacramento

(01:46:02):
victories for Utah, Indiana and Denver got another triple double
from Nicola jokicch and won a close one at Charlotte
one oh seven, one oh four. John Morant of Memphis
is doubtful for Sunday with a bad shoulder. As to
college basketball, it is a final on Fox TV. Yukon
wins at number nine Marquette seventy seven sixty nine right now,

(01:46:23):
thirteenth ranked Texas A and M leads in the final
seconds at South Carolina seventy four to seventy two, and
Arkansas is still leading at number twelve Kentucky sixty seven
fifty eight under thirteen minutes to go. Arkansas coach John
Calipari was booed at Kentucky in his pregame intro. Wins
in the top ten for Auburn and Duke Alabama as well,

(01:46:43):
but number three Iowa State lost at home to Kansas
State eighty to sixty one. Top ten matchup at Tennessee
was all valls in the second half. Tennessee beat up
Florida sixty four to forty four. Number six Houston had
won thirty three home games in a row, but lost
at home in over time time to number twenty two
Texas Tech eighty two to eighty one. At usc the

(01:47:04):
Trojans upset number seven Michigan States seventy to sixty four.
Spartans had been nine to zero in the Big Ten Conference.
Baylor was down nineteen at the half and still came
back for a home victory against number eleven rank Kansas
eighty one to seventy. Wins from Missouri and Saint John's
for Wisconsin and Georgia Tech, which beat number twenty one
Louisville seventy seven to seventy, ending the Cardinals ten game

(01:47:26):
winning streak. Oklahoma ninety seven sixty seven over number twenty
four ranked Vanderbilt. The Bears hired Eric b Enemy as
running backs coach. He was fired as UCLA's offensive coordinator
after one season. NHL Winnipeg in overtime went at Washington
five to four. Toronto of four to three winner at Edmonton.

Speaker 2 (01:47:46):
Back to you thanks Steve Martin and VJ comes to
you Lofrony Tirerack dot Com Studios VJ. Every job in
the NFL right now filled besides New Orleans again juking
for franchise. So we'll see how that works out. And
that's just the one I picked at seven years old.
I was gonna hinge my feelings and you know everything
on it. When did you got a super Bowl in

(01:48:06):
your lifetime? So started? We did, We did, and it
was beautiful and it was I was in high school
and actually it doesn't matter. You got to you remember
that though, and you and your your team was competitive
for like.

Speaker 3 (01:48:16):
Eight straight season, like nine straight seasons. People picked you
guys to win something. If I may, the part of
the problem was, I you know how quick your window
is when you've never had a window before.

Speaker 2 (01:48:28):
And watching the refs take away what was the worst
non call in NFL history And I've looked it up,
It legitimately is the worst not calling f A history,
both by obvious and implication by not throwing the flag
when the Cole World be call him and tackled Tommy
Lee Lewis on the six and a half yard line.
When Drew Brees throwing and the boy he was wide,

(01:48:49):
was walking into the end zone. He could have fallen,
he could have torn his a c L and still
scored a touch on the play. He was so open. Uh.
Then and then you got a h Kyle Rudolph pushing
off in the back of the end zone against Minnesota
and for Kirk Cousins one singular oh n E one
playoff win in his career. Can you believe the Atlanta
Focus gave him one hundred million dollars guaranteed and he

(01:49:10):
had one playoff like that? Was it something like something
the bottom man? That was something to bottom? I mean,
what do you? What do you?

Speaker 3 (01:49:17):
I mean, I can listen. We all knew it was
a mistake. And then that's how we saw do rat com.

Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
Oh Mary, find the sound, Please find the sound. Let
me give me a thumbs up when you have. You
got to hear this. I just thought about it. This
is ridiculous, all right. Michael Parsons and b John Robinson
on Michael Parsons Podcast talking about the Eternal Due rag Boom.

Speaker 10 (01:49:40):
Does he have waves like he said he never takes
the do rag Man? Does he have waves like? Does
he have the best ways we ever seen before? Is
there like some is there like a hidden thing about it,
Like what's going on with that?

Speaker 2 (01:49:52):
I don't know. Like when I tell you this man
doesn't take off his due rag, he does not take
it off.

Speaker 1 (01:49:58):
But you know we were going into the to the sauna. You don'
want your hair to like smell her.

Speaker 2 (01:50:02):
None of that.

Speaker 1 (01:50:02):
Bro just in the sauna broaches do rag on.

Speaker 2 (01:50:08):
I was like, Mike, bro like, you got to take
it off at some point. I mean, how many do
rags we're gonna use in a week? How many do rags?
He got a lot every color?

Speaker 1 (01:50:19):
Bro, Like, come on a purple dew rag one day?

Speaker 2 (01:50:21):
So whatever do rag?

Speaker 1 (01:50:23):
He wear?

Speaker 10 (01:50:23):
The word hes not taking it off before practice, after practice,
and he no sauna shower.

Speaker 1 (01:50:29):
He ain't taken it off.

Speaker 10 (01:50:31):
Michael Pittings, we're offering you a money reward, will send
it to the d M for you to come on
the show and take off the.

Speaker 2 (01:50:37):
Do and take off the do rag. Hey, And you
know what, I want to see it. I want to sit.

Speaker 3 (01:50:44):
We saw it. I've seen it without the do rag on.
He's got he does. He's got the worst do rags
he's got. He may got all the colors. He may
got all the styles, but he's got the worst do
ras because he his wave game is not there. I've
seen it without a dou raging. He don't got no
waves like that. I think it's just his thing.

Speaker 4 (01:51:01):
I'm telling you it's Voldemort under there.

Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
I remember I was all this time in the college
football season last year. Yeah, Michael Pennix has had he
must have eighty five purple due rag because and it's
not like because he's playing football. He's sweaty, gets sweaty,
not that just the grease shoes, whatever hair product you
put it, it gets in. It gets in your due rag.
So I mean he probably orders him by the hundreds
at the time.

Speaker 3 (01:51:29):
That's that's what I'm assuming, right, he probably orders boxes
of you know, let me get a hundred black, let
me get a hundred white, let me get a hundred rad,
let me get a hundred. And he's just got boxes
of him probably in his closet every day. Whatever he's wearing,
he goes in, he grabs his due rag. It's hemacinately tied.
I'll tell you that him and Memphis Bleak got the best.

Speaker 2 (01:51:45):
Due rag he ever. Uh, he is one thousand percent
a person who ties his due rag every day. He
is not a keep the knot in slide it. Oh
I'm gonna keep the knot. Guy, You kept the knot? Yeah,
all that time to be time that thing. Oh man,
you got it. You always got it, because that's part
of putting the do rag on is the art of

(01:52:06):
getting the straps even. And his are perfect. His he
has the I like the thin strap. He likes the thicker.
Michael Pennick straps are thicker. I know Ian right now?
Is I have to this is he?

Speaker 7 (01:52:17):
This is he black history.

Speaker 2 (01:52:22):
He was like, dude, I'm just grabbing a band Dana
and I'm out the door. All right, Well, I'll just
say this there. There's somebody losing so much money in
Atlanta right now. How is Michael Pennix not the face
of a do rag? Do you know what I'm saying?
I don't know why. He just good about our.

Speaker 3 (01:52:43):
Snoop snoop snoop. Got that his are in the target.
Snoops are a target.

Speaker 2 (01:52:46):
But I just I just hearing Bjeon Robinson say that
today was so validating. It was so validating. I thought
it was just me. I thought it was just me
at first that Washington year, Remember he was like in
the Heisman talks, they're running through the playoffs, end up
meeting Michigan whole time, the whole time, whole time, whole time.

(01:53:07):
Never once saw the man's hairline. But but you know what,
the Heisman, he didn't have one on du draft, I
think it was the draft. He didn't have one on
does it.

Speaker 7 (01:53:13):
Takes a video with him and he's think Heisman Finals
or something like that something and yeah, the video he
doesn't happen.

Speaker 2 (01:53:20):
He doesn't have one on. But his wave game ain't there.

Speaker 8 (01:53:23):
Italy got beaty beads.

Speaker 3 (01:53:25):
No, it's it's just it's a season. It's cut real low.
But he don't got no waves though.

Speaker 2 (01:53:29):
That's what a do rag was for your do rag
was for your waves back in the eighties and nineties.
That's the only reason why you became wa. That's when
you you wear that. Do you get that Dax or
you get spoiled?

Speaker 3 (01:53:40):
Dax was the orange can or you got the sporting waves,
which is the black and gold can.

Speaker 2 (01:53:44):
I used to use sporting waves when I had hair.

Speaker 3 (01:53:46):
So you get that, put that in there, get that
hard brush, that brush that if you pressed down too hard,
you scratch your scalp, you bleed. You scrat that hard brush, Like, yes,
that hard, but you needed that brush though, and you
just dealt with it. You dealt with the red air.
My mind used to say, boy, when you stop scratching
the sadi, I'm like that.

Speaker 2 (01:54:03):
Because I would have brushed the hell out of my
hair and my waist. But yeah, video Lebron, Oh god, yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah Lebron wearing a do rag. If you don't know
what the do rag is, just google Michael Pennix. It'll
be in every single picture. It'll be on his head.
That'll that'll be the way you can tell what a

(01:54:23):
do rag is. Rags were Papa.

Speaker 3 (01:54:25):
Even my white friends started wearing new rats. When white
guys started getting corn rows, they put the dow rag
on too, like it's.

Speaker 7 (01:54:30):
Just what you did's In Napoleon Dynamite, his brother's were
in the do rag after he meet Lafonda.

Speaker 3 (01:54:35):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and also too, Barbara. I
watched Barber Shop the Other haven't seen it one of
my favorite movies. Dude, the white barber in the movie,
Remember he gets out the big escalator, he got the
he got the flap.

Speaker 2 (01:54:45):
It's not tied up just hang it. Tracy Morgan still
wears his due rag like that now, Tracy Morgan still
let it flap. He don't tire, she said, I'm tied
my do rat. I gotta let him flow now. Lebron's
do rag is like kind of ridiculou list. You don't
need it. But there's nothing more ridiculous than the idea
that Lebron, James Lebron, Raymon James Lebron got a show

(01:55:11):
on HBO called The Shop where he goes and gets
his fake haircut. It's the most egregious thing on television.
Coming up next by this time next week, Martin Weiss
VJ Husk. I mean he's bald even he was twenty
five years old. What are you doing? What are you
doing at a barbershop? I wear a do ragga? You'all
mad at me for that? What are you doing at
the bar? At least you don't have a show called

(01:55:33):
the Shotgun? Where were lines up here? No, you're too
bay by this time next week. Coming up next, Martin
Wie v ja Husky, Fox Sports Football Saturday, shortly after
the show hour, what We'll go up? If you missed
any of today's show, make sure you check out the
podcast Sir Fox Sports Radio. Wherever you get your podcasts,

just sir Fox Sports Radio. Every podcast and you'll see

(01:55:55):
this show posted right after we get off the air.
I mean, seriously, it's a barber shop piece ball. I'm
wearing a do rag. Martin Wis v Jay Husky coming
to you live from the tire rack dot Com studios.
I'm Martin Weise, joined here with Vijay Husky. If you
want to hit us up on Twitter with your two cents,
feel free. I'm at Martin Weiss and again the Big

(01:56:15):
Vanilla Funny sitting to my left. You got me oh
as far as my bad, as far as tweets. God,
let me see we got an eat? Oh yeah, yeah yeah,
Louis chewey ren Kong because I've been banging on I'm
not banging, but I've been bicking up his rockets, so
you know he's hyped about that. Oh and he says,
uh two at Big Vanilla Funny, you know who talks rockets.

(01:56:35):
I get what you want to show love baby hell,
folks in Houston showing love at the local level and
the ones who aren't like the flagship can also be
honest when it's not their day or night, talking about
how we do our thing on the show, and even
the locals in Houston showing us love out there. We
gotta get out there, man, We gotta figure out how
to get out there and do a remote show. Martin,
that's serious, man, they showing us. Well, we doing at

(01:56:56):
the bar where he have no little dreams on and
we could go ahead, we could. I'll be in Dallas
later this month, being Dallas later this month, go to
a wedding. Okay, I see you. Well, watch how that
guy acts and copy him. Well, it's actually it's actually
a wedding party, which we don't have enough time to
go ahead and get to. Let's go ahead and move

(01:57:16):
on to by this time next.

Speaker 4 (01:57:18):
Week, all right, this time last week, you each made
a correct prediction. Peering into the future. Martin, you correctly
predicted that the Saints still won't have a head coach
Jo franchise. Yeah, that is correct. And VJ you correctly
predicted that we will be set for a Super Bowl
rematch from two years ago Eagles Chiefs. Correct. What about
this week?

Speaker 2 (01:57:35):
Though?

Speaker 3 (01:57:36):
By this time next week, I think it will be
a resounding opinion that the Houston Rockets are the best
team in the National Basketball Association, just by putting the
tape on guys. In the last seven games against top
ten teams in the NBA, they are seven and oh
and they are top ten and offense and defense. Email Docu,
you could coach, buddy, Congratulations, what you done with that team?

Speaker 2 (01:57:57):
By this time next week, Jimmy Butler will still be
a member of the Miami Heat. This trade it's not
it's not happening. I don't see how this trades is.
Who's paying Jimmy Butler fifty three million dollars next year?
That's right, nobody.

Speaker 3 (01:58:14):
I'm gonna go opposite. I just written down. The trade
deadline is February sixth.

Speaker 2 (01:58:18):
We have time. By this time next week, Jimmy Butler
will not be a Miami Heat. This thing is done.
You don't play with pat Riley. I told you guys
this a month ago. We cut the videos on. It's
on YouTube. Get to get rid to move on from him.
He's a trouble guy. You run your course with him.
He will not be a Miami Heat player by this
on next week. It's too hard to make deals. The

(01:58:38):
second apron is gonna somebody stupid will do to do
they don't have enough people to do it with. Jackson
Dart will be mentioned in the same class as cam
Ward inshaudor Shanders. My draft tradition on like any other.
There's been no games played yet, somebody's stock is going
to skyrocket. It's gonna be Jackson Dart and the conversation
might be is he the second best quarterback in the class?

(01:58:59):
Then no. By this time next week, the number third
pick to the New York Giants will be ninety percent
people in mock drafts having it be Chardure Sanders mark
it down. Do you know how many black quarterbacks the
Giants have started in their career? Zero are in their
franchise history. I would say too too. The Tyrod Taylor, yep,
they'll tell me about one. Tyrod Taylor, Tyright Tayler, and

(01:59:20):
Tyrod Tayler. No, I thought the jit forgot the last one.
Jamar Chase will not have a new contract by this time,
I said, Jamar Chase don't play quarterback. No, he does not.
God bless everybody we out
