Speaker 1 (00:00):

sports week. You're listening to Fox Sports Countdown, brought to

The Countdown starts.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Now live from the ti I rag dot com.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Fox Sports Radio studios. Here's Brian No, Jeff Schwartz and
Baill crack Krackenberger.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Oh what is going on? Welcome bit Happy Sunday two
is we get all fired up with some N seed
double A tournament action. We get it down to the
sweet sixteen after today. Good morning to you guys, Jeff
and crack Crack. Are you coming to us live from
a penitentiary somewhere? Are you a freeman right now?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I'm a freeman.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
That's good, thankfully. I was worried there, yeah, a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Yeah, like you were very worried about over that.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
They I bet Yale twice for for the max bet
and and they came to me like, h like I
was doing something illegal. By the way, of course, that
game lost plus seven and a half. But one of
the sports books in talents here had zero juice promotion,
and you know they had they had a three dime
max and I bet it two hours apart, not not

(01:30):
even thinking anything of it. I would never, I actually
would never take advantage of a promotion doing something to
get myself in any trouble. I just didn't know it was.
It wasn't. It wasn't you know, stated anywhere that you
couldn't bet a game twice, especially two hours actually two
hours and twenty minutes apart. But uh, yeah, you know,
it's it's it's it was a great promotion they had

(01:51):
over there. I actually wind up like breaking even there.
I didn't even win anything. Uh that's because of Friday.
Friday was a terrible day. You know how many people
in sports betting media will come on and tell you
they had oh and six day. You know how hard
it is to go oh and six None of the
dogs won. It's that simple. It's all favorites, and uh,
you know, it's just a tough tournament. After being eight

(02:12):
and four the first like day of n T the
in the first Thursday, and starting out with a pretty
good week and then then to go like oh and six,
just jesus well, I mean and every pro I know
lost on Friday. I mean, just all the pros in general,
pros lost for the tournament. You know, it's it's hard
for any pros to be betting these favorites first round.

(02:36):
Some of the first half dogs actually saved me on
Thursday though, to have, like I said, a decent day,
I was eight and four of those two days, but
oh and six is just unacceptable for me. I've had
some really rough nights sleep, even to last night. I'll
be honest with you, guys, I've never ever in twenty
nine this is how much I thought it out. Twenty
nine years of being a professional gambler, I have never

(02:59):
ever been so hard on myself. Like the last forty
eight hours. I was really upset, even even getting up
for the show. Normally I would GetUp around five twenty
five point fifteen. I've been up since four o'clock. I just, yeah,
I did really tough on myself, and I.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Get the books though. You know, this is the time
to get behind your place, you know, yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah, either that or a hunger strike. I'm trying to
decide what to do.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I think, good morning, it's my It's probably my fault.
We lost the Yale game. I got too excited to
hop in there with with crack on that one there.
I mean, look he put in there, he put he said,
Max Bett twice, sign me up for that. He hadn't
got to the part where we almost got arrested, to
be fair to me, but no.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
No, I didn't even Yeah, they came over to me.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
But nonetheless, God, this has been interesting tournament, guys. And
I think it's the really the first year of this
that I feel like we're at this place where the
portal is kind of decimating these smaller school rosters. It's
when you watch a couple of you need for underdogs

(04:07):
to hit obviously, right, you need to have a great
shooting night, and then you just sort of often need
to have a dude on your roster, right, and sometimes
is the same person. Okay, that dude is now on
a Power five team. The guy's not he's not there anymore.
And you saw all these underdogs. GCU, who was kind

(04:30):
of a popular Grand Canyon right, kind of a popular
underdog high point was a popular underdog not even a
chance to cover because they they weren't even liberty, they
weren't even the same size as the opponent they were playing.
And if they missed four shots in a row, their
team just goes down and scores eight points like that.
They're just there's no there's and these teams just don't

(04:54):
have any NBA guys. The guys just leave immediately. And
so you watch these games and the talent in the
size because look, think about if you're if you're a
seven footer at Robert Morris. Okay, now they actually covered
it with Alabama's plays no defense Robert Morris like, if
you have a one good season, you might not even
make the tournament. You're going you're off somewhere else, like

(05:16):
you're going to a better team. And so all these
schools get get their talent just gets taken from them.
And we saw this. Look the one team might Drake
for example, right they they are a mid major that
had a good season, and the reason they did is
they had a very older group of guys that they
that transferred from with the coach to the school. And

(05:37):
then we saw yesterday like against a Texas Tech team
that's super athletic, that's I think a team that's possibly
can win this tournament. Closed for a while, then all
of a sudden, Brian, the talent of a and m
to me of Tech just took over and that's what
I gather from this tournament so far. I don't know
if it's something that we can just say holds for
the rest of time, but I certainly think it's fair

(05:58):
to say that the portal has really decimated some of
these teams and their games are just not gonna be
as competitive with the small schools moving forward. I mean,
it was a bloodbath for these dogs. For these dogs,
I mean they just took no chance for the most part.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, and that's something that Rick Bettino had talked about
before the tournament. He said he won't recruit high school players.
He said he'd actually turned down a five star recruit
because he said, hey, quote, we're losing three seniors. You
can't replace them with high school kids. I don't think
you can win big with high school kids. End quote
is what he said. Think about that. He's he's just

(06:34):
gonna hit the portal. He's gonna go all portal. And
some of these bigger schools, that's what they're doing is
instead of getting a top notch high school, five star guy,
they're like, I'm gonna get a portal kid. And look
at what John Calipari's doing with Arkansas. He takes over
in year one and you get a bunch of portal
guys and boom, all of a sudden, you're in the
Sweet sixteen like it used to be where it was

(06:56):
a slower build up and now you can just you're
firing right away.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
And how about that game yesterday, how about Arkansas taking
down Saint John's. Yeah, Lewis, Yeah, that was plus seven
and a half the money line dog winner right.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Now, never ever ever sweating that losing that either, I
mean that's right obviously, right outright winner. And R. J.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Lewis, who was Saint John's guy. He was three for
seventeen from the field, only scored nine points, zero for
three from three point territory and benched for the final
five minutes. That was the knock on Saint John's. Can
they hit enough shots? They couldn't come close to hitting
enough shots against Arkansas, not even a Sweet sixteen team.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Guys, they had a twenty eight percent field goal percentage.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Wow, but that's what they that's what they They have
ability to do that because they can't score like that.
That That's been the big problem I had with Saint
John's is like in the tournament, you gotta put the
ball in the net, like at a decent rate. Eventually
you're gonna face a team that can They can do that.
In Arkansas, I think played better than we thought they could,

(08:04):
but still, I mean I saw a tweet that said
Saint John's would be the best basketball team in the
history of the planet if there was no basket.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
That's a good tweet.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I like, oh yeah, pft commentary, they'll give them credit
for that. Like you have to be able to score
the basket in twenty twenty five, like that that is
and must and just unable to do that, and that
we saw that play out yesterday against a really athletic
Arkansas team. It didn't surprise me. I mean, the final

(08:33):
score might have been surprising as well, but that result,
to me wasn't terribly surprising. I didn't think that that
was going to be a game that Saint John's just
couldn't lose. And so you be you got to be
able to score the basket. I mean A and M
went through this yesterday as well. For long stretch. You
cannot have stretches where you cannot you cannot score, you'd
be taken advantage of. It's the way this sport is now.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, no, absolutely, and that was Saint John's. Just in
their own conference in the Big East, they were tenth
in free throw percentage. They were last in three point percentage.
And I love that comment because it's so true what
they do defensively, they're the number one ranked defensive team
in the entire nation. Rebounding unbelievable, you know, tough, but yeah,

(09:17):
gotta put the ball in the hoop, no doubt. Two
teams that put the ball in the hoop. BYU took
down Wisconsin ninety one to eighty nine. BYU held on
for the win. Furious comeback by Wisconsin. One thing to
keep in mind that was interesting from that game. We
talk about three point shooting a ton in basketball, now
more so in the NBA, but still a big part
of college hoops. But both teams made twelve three pointers.

(09:40):
Both BYU and Wisconsin made twelve three pointers. But listen
to this. BYU was twelve for twenty six, Wisconsin was
twelve for thirty five. And that's the thing, man, It's
not just about volume how many shots you take. It's
about efficiency, how many shots you actually make. And BYU
did a better job. That was a big part of
the win.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
They played really well. I'll tell you what. The Big
twelve and the Big Ten are crushing it so far.
I mean the Big twelve, I mean these these teams
have played really good basketball so far. I think we
may overlook them sometimes, but they have one championships recently,
and by you just when they're when they are on offensively,

(10:20):
you're gonna have a hard time being them. They just
and even down the stretch there and you think to yourself,
you know, and Wisconsin, I mean, Bill, you tried their
best to melt and again I have to say this
last week, if college basketball did not have the last
five minutes of every game, no one will watched the sport.
It'd be unwatchable, I think. But the last five minutes
makes it great. And we saw they tried to melt down,

(10:42):
but they're still able to hit big threes. They actually
took two shot attempts in the final eighty four seconds,
which is wild being up eight points, but they they
just hit big shot after big shotfter big shot, and
eventually you scored ninety one points. Not losing many games.
I know they allowed eighty nine, but you're not lose
in many games when when you scored ninety one points. Guys,

(11:02):
so crack you had the over in that one though,
so at least we yeah what right, So I actually
a win?

Speaker 3 (11:09):
You know, Like I said, I'm the rare person in
sports betting media. I'm really down on my tough on myself,
very tough. I mean, I'm not, you know, negative, I'm
a very positive guy. But that that one, You're right.
I jumped on that b YU Wisconsin over one fifty
four right when that line opened, and we saw some
great back and forth offense in that game as BYU

(11:30):
held on to advance. There were not a lot of
exciting games to watch really these first three days, but
I'll tell you what, that was definitely the best game
to watch. Hopefully we get some good games today. Looks
like this Kentucky Illinois matchup could be a shootout with
the highest total so far one seventy one. I know, Jeff,
you're excited to see the Oregon Arizona. I guess these

(11:52):
last the last game of.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
These first I think this is a very bad matchup
for Orgon Wow.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
I I don't think teams that can score a ton
of points are good matchups for us because we look
take the Liberty game out of it, the Liberty stinks,
and that the game doesn't matter. Just they're not. I
just we beat Liberty in football by thirty nine points,
and the gest the ball, we beat the bathroom by
twenty nine points.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
You'd be money, though, Jeff, just like you know, this
just came out five.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
So here's here's what a couple of things. I think
the money in Oregon is because of Dana Altman's record
in March and taught. And people think Arizona and Tommy
looked underachieved, which they haven't given years, but they didn't
last year, right, And this is an opponent in Orgon
they know very well, like they're not gonna take them lightly, right,
we know that you know what what this is a

(12:45):
PAC ten Ba's like, you know it's a a PAC
twelve matchup here, right, Pack ten matchup, Pack eight matchup.
So you know, I don't think they're gonna take this game,
you know, any differently than they would have, you know,
a big twelve matchup. But look, I watched a little
organ basketball, of course. I I. We have periods of

(13:08):
games we just don't score. We go like we have
five Brian know a text about it we have five
minute periods. Who just don't score. That happens every game.
If it happens, it's Arizona. We're down fifteen points, you know,
like you just can't do that. It's Arizona in my opinion.
So I think it's I like the I like playing
teams Organ like that is a slower tempo team that
sort of takes their time offensively getting up and down

(13:32):
the court, like this as not what we do well.
And then our best I guess our best player is Biddle,
but our point guard who I think you need to
have point guard play to win these games. Three of
the last eight games, our supposed senior, our best player
has been in a single digits three points, seven points,
eight points. If Schelstead does that today, we're not winning.

(13:53):
So I think the road is we saw so well
last game. I think the road is pretty tough for
Organ in this game.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, could be. I can see that. You know, it's
it's like old school pack twelve after dark though you
know it's.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Super late again, which is which is just like why
can't we ever have an early game? But I get,
you know, I get they do it with the last
game Friday night, last game tonight. Yeah, I don't know.
I would much rather play like a slow tempo, slow
down team rather than playing a team like like Arizona
just gets up and down the court as fast as possible.

(14:27):
This yeah, probably.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Like twelve o'clock your time.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
I know, I was. I said it for orgon Liberty.
I uh oh, good news, guys. By the way, the
Voice is on an epic losing streak, and it has
been so nice because for three weeks the voice like
was killing it and now the Voice is like seven
and twenty sides and totals in the first three days.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Man, yeah, wow, it's it's been great.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I ran I ran the Sami pa.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, well he knows.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
And he had a shirt on The Bartender.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
He told me, yea Fad the Bartender.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah, this show he goes crack. I can get you
one if you want.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Fad the Bartender, man, I mean, the Bartender was hot.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Part Tender had a winning season, right, he said, it's
been a winning season.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
And it feels like it felt like the last couple
of weeks before this weekend, you know, it was a
very public uh, very public and it feels like it's
kind of gone. The other direction. If you look yesterday
at even the even the favorites that won were not
like sharp side, I mean Drake. You know everyone was
on Drake yesterday. Everyone was at the mcnie game. I
didn't get from the beginning. I never stood why everyone

(15:38):
was on mcnice because the student manager of n I
l deals. I didn't understand that. It's like, even though
the favorites cover yesterday, they were not the public side
like that, like the public side of yesterday was all
of these dogs. I agree that we're just this the
mag I should have tweeted about the McNeice produce things.

(15:58):
I feel like I missed out opportunity to quote that
made no sense to me. I mean, is not mean?
Did you washing me these Clemson game? Clemson was the
worst shooting half of maybe in school history. In the
first time. They scored fifty one second half points. The
game last thirty seconds longer it would have been be
Magne State. And now we're going to back then because

(16:20):
their student manager has a cool walk up song and
he has a boombox and a n AL deal. They're
not a good basketball team.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Yeah, they're so undersized, no doubt. Kaufman Wren was just eating.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Oh yes, yeah, we both hit. I got lucky to
hit mine, I think. But you you know he had
fifteen rebounds.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah he got there. He got close, but got there
on the point total.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
Yeah he got foul at the very end to get
over you, to get over the guys I even saw.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I think high Point Purdue was a very popular pit.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Like a lot of people are taking hot high Point,
and I think a lot that was just this idea
is like, yeah, Purdue was one of the ones that
was a one seed that fell to a sixteen, and
we're just hoping for magic to strike again.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
I just think that. I just think you look at
these at these like you know, like a high Point
at GCU, like you're like, oh, they can shoot pretty well,
they can keep this game close. And the big dogs
have just been bigger man, they've just been the big tens.
In one of them, the big ten.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Was this was this was a strange thing, guys too.
I'm going to tell you I talked to I'm allowed
to say who, but I talked to a sportsbook manager
here in one of the big sports books. He told
me that on Saturday, let's see, that was I in
there on Saturday was I think I was like a Saturday,
he said. On On Thursday, he had to go to

(17:30):
his bosses. He says, I've never had to do this.
I had to go to my directors and tell them upstairs, listen,
we have a giant, six figure decision. I can't get
any money on Maryland, so everyone's betting Grand Canyon. I'm
just letting you guys know I have. He says. He
hasn't done that the whole season. I was like, what
do you mean, NFL doesn't happen. He goes, crack, I

(17:52):
haven't had a six figure decision like this on an
NFL game. Not really, No, I really haven't. He had
to go to his bosses and say, look, I just
want to let you guys know. I went to nine.
I still can't get any money on the favorite. It's
all dog money. We have this size of a fit
of a decision on an underdog, so we need the favorite.

(18:13):
Very unusual. The sportsbook actually made money for the day,
even though all these favorites came in. They actually made
money for the tournament. So that's unusual to have to
go to your bosses upstairs. By the way, they don't
know sports betting they're just pencil pushers that owned the casino.
They just think everyone loses. Don't worry, it's built in.
He had to tell them that, and sure enough they
got the money. God protects.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
There you go, it is.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
It wasn't close.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
It wasn't it even where you're like, oh, just usually
cover that game, not even a moment. No, she's not
even close. All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian no Uscoude.

(20:02):
All right, guys, man, what a difference one year? Max?
How about the Yukon Huskies won a championship last season,
went back to back championships, and then in the offseason
there was a little bit of flirtation or leverage being
used by Dan Hurley with the Lakers gig being open

(20:22):
and Dan Hurley, the Yukon head coach, he said, Nope,
I'm happy here in Yukon. Let's run it back. Signs
a nice little extension. And man, Yukon is where they
are right now. They're an eight seed. Their defense is
ranked one hundred and sixtieth in the country. And they
faced Florida today. Meanwhile, the Lakers traded for Luka Doncic.

(20:42):
It looks so much different where Yukon was, where the
Lakers were, and now where both of those squads are
right now. I wonder if he saw this landscape a
year ago, if he would still be at Yukon. That's
a legitimate question right now.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Whatever you do, guys, don't look at the NBA box
scores from last night. Just just just ignore the NBA
last night. Nothing happened. The Lakers are fine, nothing to
worry about. Lakers lost one forty six to like one
fifteen to Bulls last night, which I mean the one
eleven's five, the one forty six, and Lebron played last night.

(21:22):
Bronny wasn't there to get seventeen, by the way, Okay, well,
the Bronny thing. Scoring seventeen points is legit impressive. I
don't care who you are. That's an NBA game. He
scored seventeen points. He should get his credit for that
two nights ago. That was impressive.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
That crazy, isn't that crazy? You're right, Dan Hurley could
be coaching Lebron and Bronni right.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Lebron as a Lakers fan, I think J. J. Reddick
is the right coach for that job. He's done a
great job, and I'm I'm sort of glad that her
maybe Hurley didn't take that job with it ro J thought,
I am. I say this all time with coaching hire,
so I'm consistent. I don't know how you turned down
the Lakers job. I don't know how you turn Yankees' job,
Cowboys job, which I guess it would be tough to

(22:03):
turn down, easy turn more easily turned down now. But
some of these jobs, like you just don't turn down
the Lakers, like for to stay Yukon. I I don't.
I don't. I didn't get at the time. It looks
I think way worse now now. Of course, if you
would have told Dan Hurley we're getting Luca Dunchich, he
probably was like, yeah, probably I'll be a Lakers coach.

(22:23):
But at that time it was Lebron and and I
understand because the future there didn't look bright. And I
know the Lakers wanted Hurley as a player development coach
right because we saw we did Yukon to develop those players.
But look as far as Yukon, I'm not surprised. I
mean back to my champions how many guys are are
in the NBA now, I mean, like you gotta brain drain.

(22:45):
You're gonna have a talent dump. All these things happen
when you win championship. So I'm on that surprised crack.
I do think Florida covers today, or at least the
team total over. I saw your tweet, crack of the
the buddy who won like seven parlays in a row.
I did boring. Yeah, I did think about doing like
a same game parlay of like getting a better number

(23:07):
for like a Florida team total and bringing the spread down.
I just think Brian's appointed about the Yukon's defense. It's
not good. And Florida can score quickly, they score fast,
they scored bunches. And you complained Oklahoma, who's terrible in offense,
and and so I think Florida today I would take
the favorite in this one.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
So let me first address the tweet. Thank you for
bringing it up. So I was with a friend of
mine last week and every Wednesday over my buddies. He
has a big restaurant in town here called dom DeMarco's,
and he has a big following of different sports guys
that are the top of the tops have been there

(23:51):
every Wednesday for this one hour show they do. Brent
Musburger has been there multiple times, and just at the
top of the game of the sports betting as has
been there every Wednesday, Wednesday or Thursdays whenever they have it.
They've been changing it around a little bit. Now it's Wednesdays.
So I'm there last week Wednesday, and when the show's over,
I'm sitting down having lunch with some of the guys,
and one of the guys I know, he shows me

(24:13):
his phone and says, crack, look what I've done with
Parlays the last the last couple of days. And I'm like,
oh my god, I can't believe. Now. I'm not even
looking at him winning them. I'm just looking at how
many Parley's the guy bet. But he won seven in
a row. Seven. By the way, they're not just two teamers.
There are two teams, five teams, seven teams. And you know,

(24:35):
I was just like, wow, you love Parlays, and Parlays
love you trust me? Because no, because this is it's
it's in the end, it's got an equal destruction. But however,
how can I teach someone not to bet all these parlays.
When you're hitting that it's like like someone that did
drugs for the first time, chasing that high. You're never

(24:57):
ever going to not bet Parley's again. But by the way,
he's very bankroll wise compared to the stock You know,
he has a seven figure stock portfolio and he's been
in one hundred bucks on me, So he's having fun.
I understand he's pretty wealthy guy. But as long as
it doesn't become a habit or a problem, that's the
first thing. Second thing, now, go into this Yukon game.

(25:19):
You know, first of all, I met Hurley a couple
of times up my buddy and my my buddy Teddy Atlass.
He has a dinner every year in Stanton, Allan, New York.
I fly in for November and Hurley's been there three
years in a row. What a nice guy, really nice guy.
And Teddy goes up there and speaks to the team
every year. So for them to get this far, good
for them. But it's the first game on the board today.

(25:41):
It's actually very interesting. Of course, like I said, the
defending two time champ Yukon goes against the tournament favorite Florida,
Yukon doesn't have anywhere near the talent that they had
last two seasons, and Florida looks like the most really
complete team in the country. So that kid Clayton Junior,
it makes this Florida offense just tick. And Yukon is

(26:05):
going to have a hard time maybe slowing him down today.
So I think maybe, listen, I still can't lay the
nine and a half. It might be the right number.
I maybe even a lean towards the over a little bit.
But boy, I'll tell you, I'm looking forward to actually
watch the game, and yes, I am going to be
rooting just for unless Jeff is betting Florida, because then

(26:25):
I have a reason to root for him. Yeah, if
you bet Florida. But I mean, I have no reason
to root for anything.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
I just yeah, I don't know. It's one of those
games where like I feel i'd be best serve waiting
for a better number in game, But then I feel
really silly if I didn't bet Florida. They won by fifteen,
you know, And that's what it breaks.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Like that's a great, great thing you said there right.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
The hot start is be kicking yourself, right, Like.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Look, I can see this game Yukon scrambling. You know,
the first ten minutes, it's twenty twenty, eighteen sixteen, something
like that.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
You could lay five and a half.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Yeah, you get five and a half or six. I'll
do this now, guys. The best money I make every
tournament is on women's college basketball. And this is a
strategy I take. I'm thirteen and four live wager on
women's college basketball in two days. Okay, what you do
is exactly this. Okay, These favorites that are favored by
like forty one points, thirty five points, insane numbers, and

(27:23):
these scores have been Yukon won one oh one to
thirty three South Carolina one by fifty, UCLA one, by
billion points. Every game starts slow, except Yukon. They just
start slow. They're like, you know, fifteen ten, and in
the first quarter they give you like they move the
number like seven, eight, nine points, and then the game
ends up being fifty points. Anyways, right, because I just

(27:46):
it makes it makes it doesn't make any sense. I
keep hammering these favorites. You can't do that in men's
college basketball. But my point is that live wagering is
a great opportunity for you if you have an idea
of how the game might go in your head, and
you got to be right, of course in the in game,
but just getting better numbers like I don't want to
lay nine and a half, I rather like five and

(28:09):
and so you just wait, and women's colleg bast will
same way. These big numbers. Man, you just wait. The
games start slow, they're freging each other out. And in
women's college basketball, the talent difference between UCLA and Southern
and eventually the team that's less talented will score five

(28:30):
points in a quarter. It happens to every one of
these games.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Not a lot of eyeballs on that too, especially this
time of the year when there's right right.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
So I just started to say, I'm just looking. I'm
just kind of like hanging out, and I wait for
these numbers to kind of get lower and lower and lower,
especially at halftime, man like, and then these women's teams
they go on a twenty and nothing run. And the
other thing about women's college basketball is unlike the men
in the final two minutes, where the men just dribble
for forty second to take a bad shot, the women's

(28:58):
college basketball, yeah, they just they they play the game
like they play the game out like you could be
up seventeen points, and the team that's up seventeen will
warn a normal offensive possessions, Like they will not dribble
the ball for twenty nine second and take a bad shot.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
They will not they wnba. Yeah, like those those in
game overs, because they play it out. They're playing it
out game.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
Likely like they like, they just play it out. And
so I'm telling you, man, there's now today in the
women's game. There's some big numbers, but they're better teams.
I mean, look, I took usc live yesterday. They were
up twelve eighty in the first quarter. Okay, twelve to eight.
They won seventy one to twenty five. I took Texas yesterday,

(29:40):
they were up a third quarter. I took them for
the third quarter. They won by sixteen points. They won
by forty, by forty points. These these games are just
like I took Oklahoma in game. They won the fourth
quarter by sixteen points and covered. It's all these games
are the same. And so just just I'll give you
guys a heads up on that women's college basketball is
a good, live wage opportunity.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I like it. Well, you took Oklahoma yesterday I'm taking
I low today. That's what I'm on. That's the play
of the day. Isaac Loohen Crown with us this morning.
He's got the latest. What's going on? I low, I'm doubtful, laryngid, No,
just kidding.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
I'm here thankfully, fellas A good morning to you, and
we start, of course with round two of the NCED
Double A Tournament. On Saturday night, is six seed BYU
defeated three seed Wisconsin ninety one to eighty nine, Despite
thirty seven points by Wisconsin's John Tanjay BYU to the

(30:35):
sweet sixteen for the first time in fourteen years. One
seed Houston knocked off eight seed Gonzaga eighty one to
seventy six.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Houston's LJ.

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Crier scored thirty It Brokenzaga's streak of nine straight Sweet sixteens.
And two seed Tennessee defeated seven seed UCLA sixty seven
to fifty eight. In the NBA on Saturday night, the
Chicago Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in LA one
forty six to one fifteen. Kobe White scored thirty six,

(31:07):
but Josh Giddy nearly had a quadruple double.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Lakers two more steals.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
We were there.

Speaker 6 (31:18):
Oh two more steals, fifteen points, ten rebounds, seventeen assists
and those eight steals. Lebron James made his return after
missing six games with a left groin strain. Seventeen points
in thirty one minutes for him. Now, one other update
as we go back to the NC DOUBLEA tournament. According

(31:40):
to the NC Double A's official March Madness Bracket Challenge tracker,
of all the brackets out there, like in the universe, CBS, Yahoo, USA,
Today X, which is offering a flight on SpaceX to
the winner, only three perfect brackets remain in all the world.

(32:05):
From here are their usernames. One road to perfection okay,
I get it. The next the username is quote I
understand it now, all right, okay? And the final perfect
bracket alive. The username is at prux picks one something

(32:28):
you do not want to mispronounce, but best of luck
to our three remaining perfect brackets, especially prux picks one.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Back to you, guys, I like that, annunciate for sure.

It's a game at bet MGM earn points from correct
answers for a shot to win a share of bonus bets.
Free to play. Take advantage of that. Yeah, man, it's
sobering every year, like the first day where it's just
those sixteen games and they'll flash it up there. It'd

(33:22):
be like it's like the legal limit they had. Some
shops had like zero point zero eight percent of their
brackets were still perfect after sixteen games.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
It's crazy that you have had no chance to go.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
You guyshull out brackets. By the way, did both Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Well, I've been I basically just like my wife has
me doing it for work, and she's so funny about it.
She watches zero sports. Of course, if if I don't them,
if if I wasn't in the house. They would My
kids would not watch a second of sports ever, they
just wouldn't watch sports. The best thing, by the way,
was this week, I think it was Tuesday, right, was

(33:59):
the Dodgers Cubs in Japan, So like six am, kids
getting ready for school. I got baseball on. It was
it was. It was awesome. But so she has me
to do it bracket every year. They doing it for work,
and see it's so prideful about it. She goes make
sure that I beat all my co workers. I'm like, okay,
who cares. So it's not going well. I comes in

(34:21):
the final four, that's the problem. So but I did
have I do have Duke and Florida playing the championship game,
so that at least you know, if those are alive,
you have a chance. And the way Duke is playing
right now, I think I think they're gonna get there,
and Flora, I think both teams are going to get there.
So uh we'll see, Uh, we'll see how it ends up.
But I don't do it crack for much more than that.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
I know that.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
I think it's just it's so hard to pick winners.
I just rather gamble in the games.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Guys. Someone sent me this just now thanks to Nelson
on Twitter. He said, he said, I think most people
right now the dogs were getting discussed with the most. Yeah,
the more that didn't get there. First tournas is twenty seventeen.
Not a sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, or thirteen got there. It's
only happened four times in twenty five years. Wow, just
looking at that, not even realizing it. That's the kind

(35:09):
of year it's been.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
With when I think Saint John lose yesterday was the
first one, two, three or four seats lost.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
And just Wisconsin, I think that's it. I think it's
just Saint John's Wisconsin lost the BYU.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
So it's like a crazy.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
True But I'm just saying there, I know, see the.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Number was like one, right, I think by clothes.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Yeah right, yeah, I mean yeah sure. So yeah, it's
been a lot of chock, a lot of chalk so far.
But it sets up some really interesting matchups going forward.
So we've got the big boys, all right, We've got
speaking of the big boys, we got Bill Krackenberger, big
time sports professional sports handicapper. We got Jeff Schwartz, eight
year NFL veteran. I'm Brian no drive to the rim

All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Check this out our late letter.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Yes, we each have one selection. We pull it together
for a greater payout. Crack. We start with you. What
do you like for the platter today?

Speaker 3 (36:53):
Yeah, let's go. I'm actually gonna it's gonna be on
a game that's not today Arkansas, Texas tech which is
going to be I'm trying. I just want to get
you guys the right line on the game one forty
seven and bet ENERGYM one forty seven and a half. Yeah,
I always checked there. I want to make sure you
guys get the right line here. There is a couple
one forty seven on the screen, but we've got a grade.

(37:15):
These are bet MGM one forty seven and a half
on the over.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
For the This is for the Thursday sweet sixteenth.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Yeah, correct, yep correct.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
Oh, okay, all right, Well, I was hoping Crack will
be on like a team I like today, but not I.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Have something later. I got a couple of good strongly.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Crack, I don't you're a little down today. I get it,
but we need that energy, buddy, we need the energy.
Almost get the rest. I got you down.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
I'm a pretty positive guy at all times.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
I I could tell it. Look, look it happens. Okay,
I was with you on those first halfs. I get it. Yeah, No,
all right, Uh we're firing back, so I I I'll
just give you one. I like it. And when I'm
gonna give you Saint Mary's is getting taking a ton
of money right now, by the way it was six
and a half is now five and a half. Yep,
this s exap would have been better like fifteen minutes ago.

(38:03):
They just they don't shoot the ball terribly well, which
kind of worries me about this game. They play very slow.
They're like Drake, but lying a little bit better than Drake,
so it doesn't worry me. Band plays no defense, all
those things. I'm gonna be as chalky as possible here
and I'll give you the reason why I like Duke
one and twelve and a half against Baylor. All right.
They remind me of Yukon from last season at least

(38:25):
right now, where they're just gonna blow by all the
teams that they should. I don't know what Baylor brings
to the table in this game other than I don't know.
They played in the Big twelve and a tough call,
like they're they're twenty and fourteen. They don't do anything
remarkably well. They're efficiency like they're fine, but like they're

(38:48):
not anything Brian that like I think Duke. It's just
they're steam only teams like they beat They'd beat Illinois
by forty like a month ago, and ILLINOI is good
to be a good basketball team. They just want to
XC tournament without Cooper. He came back. He played way
more than I thought he would. By the way, in
the Mount Saint Mary's game, who they just dominated from
the start. Two scores a ton of points. I think

(39:10):
Duke covers this game and wins.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Brian, Yeah, hey, I hear you on that. I'm gonna
look at the first game of the day. I'm gonna
look at Florida against Yukon. I've got my eye on
a prop. I'll add it for the parlay platter here
the juice. It's a minus a dollar fifty, So it's
nice for a parlay leg, right, not as nice for
a single leg. But I'll take Alex Condon give me

(39:34):
over six and a half rebounds. You look at Florida,
They're a top five rebounding team in the nation. They
should dominate the class against Yukon. And the defense that
they play is so much better than Yukon's defense, So
a lot of defensive rebounding opportunities for Condon and company.
I think that he he goes over six and a half,

(39:55):
So that's the leg I would add. You're with me
on that.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
I I mean, I just bet it.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
I try.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
Yesterday you went Kaufman running at fifteen and it was
over six and a half.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
He was a vacuum cleaner man. That was beautiful. Yeah,
so these three legs crack. You go with the Sweet
sixteen matchup on Thursday. You've got the over in the
Arkansas Texas Tech game. Jeff, You've got Dupe today, minus
twelve and a half. I'm on Alex Condon Florida Big
over six and a half, rebounds all three legs. Get
your plus five oh seven. So a little five to one.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Action right there, got very nice, and then what happened
You never know by Thursday. I don't recommend hedging, but
hopefully you guys go to and zero. You can lock
up a profit. There you go like that? All right?

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Coming up next, Guessing what this guy will choose is
not easy. We'll tell you about that coming up. Oh
what is going on? Happy Sunday to you. We get
you all set for a college basketball action. Get it
down to the Sweet sixteen. On the men's side, I
very much looking forward to some of these matchups. We'll

(41:02):
getting hot and heavy in the previews here. But some
non basketball news that's going on, curious what you guys
think about this? How about Aaron Rodgers. He met with
the Steelers for six hours on Friday. There's a deal
on the table, no agreement has been reached. So the
question is this, what do you guys think if you
had to say right now, is Aaron Rodgers playing for

(41:23):
the Steelers another NFL team, or he retires he's played
his last down? What do you think? Jeff, where would
you go with that?

Speaker 5 (41:30):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (41:30):
This is not the NFL topic I thought you were
going to go with. Clearly you've seated me in our
long text thread argument about rule adjustment to the National Football.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
League eating just I don't want to give Crack an
epic headache this morning.

Speaker 4 (41:44):
You know, Brian, I argued for like a good twenty
minutes back and forth the NFL rule changes on our
text thread. Aaron Rodgers. Oh boy, okay, So the options
are very clear at this at this point, right deelers,
a retirement, those are the two options. The Giants just
signed Jamis Winston and they seem very intense. That's a

(42:06):
backup deal, by the way, but they're not bringing in
Jameis Winston and Aaron Rodgers. They're not bringing in both
Vikings have said no to Aaron Rodgers, so it's Steelers
or retirement or wait and see if someone gets hurt.
Those are the options. The wait and see approach probably
unlikely to find you a job. But why would Rogers

(42:27):
want to play for Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers legacy right now
is set. There's nothing he's going to do about change against.
You can make the argument that if he has a
good season in Pittsburgh and doesn't do anything or say
really anything of the ordinary for entire season, maybe we
think he is a different person, or maybe we don't

(42:47):
think that some of the wacky comments he makes are
what he feels or believes. But at this point, no
one's changing their mind about Aaron Rodgers. He's been in
an NFL like twenty years. He's not changing his thoughts
on vaccines because he you know, he because he he uh,
he plays with Steelers for a year. You know it's
it's just it's it doesn't none that's going to change.
Anon Rodgers is a Hall of Fame quarterback. It's one

(43:07):
of the best ever do it. You might disagree with
his political views or his views on on other things
in medicine and science, but the fact he's going to
the Hall of Fame on the first ballot, guys where
he plays this year or not. And I understand the
idea that, you know, a lot of us don't want
to end our careers, you know, basically flaming out. But
that's how ninety nine percent of our career is done anyways,

(43:30):
because I ended up turning down basically a million dollars
to play one more season in national football because I
didn't want to end my career on a cart right
where I got hurt my eighth season and I got
card off the field. And there's a provision then if
you basically retire, if you get retired due to injury,
there's an insurance policy you can collect through the NFL.

(43:53):
Uh it's up to one point one million dollars. Actually
I think it's not like two million now, but one
point one million, and you basically medically retire, right And
I could have done that. I broke Michael twice in
a year, calendar calendar year basically, and I could have
had someone fail me and got my insurance, but I
would never have tried to play my ninth year. And
I was like, yeah, I'm gonna try to play. I
don't want to leave the field a lot of cards.

(44:14):
I don't want to do it. So I get that,
I get that feeling. I cost myself a lot of money.
Looking back on it, I was my body was broken.
I should just accept it. I was done and taking
my insurance money and rode off in the sunset. So
I get Rogers wanting to not have that feeling of
I'm retiring on bad terms. Okay, like my my career,
but this year will will not change his path to

(44:36):
the Hall of Fame and won't change his path on
how we feel about him personally in my opinion, So
crack like that to me is the decision. It's like,
it's not really gonna do much for his career, and
I went to Super Bowl in Pittsburgh. It's not It's
only up to if Rogers wants to change the end
of his own NFL journey, and that's up to him

(44:57):
decision to make. And I think if he really wants
to do that, he would have be he would have
signed the studio was already. I think I think he
really doesn't really want to play for Pittsburgh at all.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
More importantly, I want to know what missus Schwartz says
about that million you missed up. She probably wanted you
to play get the money.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
I'm not even sure she realizes it. To be honest
with you, really, I'm not sure. I love, I made
two hundred, so I lost. I lost eight hundred essentially,
but I don't. Yeah, I don't know if I've told
her that before. I mean, we could have probably used
the money. I mean better not Yeah, I think I
think she might have known. But like, look, I'm telling

(45:33):
you guys, like, look, my contract stuff's a on the internet.
I don't have to tell you what I made or
didn't make. It's actually a correct it's in correct, which
is nice. But nonetheless, I uh, like, I got hurt
in two thoy fourteen. I've dislocated my toe. It was
out three months, my big toe. You really don't realize

(45:54):
how important your big toe is, so you can't use
it anymore. Yeah, and then uh, and I broke fracture
to justicated my ankle five quarters into coming back as
a first starter NFL, starting to be an ir twice
in one season, so that distinction, and then I broke
my leg the next year three and sixty four days
to the time I broke my like the first time,
so I didn't want to end my career like that,

(46:16):
like to have like and I played twelve games in
those two seasons. I didn't want to end my career
just like walking off being an injured guy.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
That's what I want to know about Rogers is like
what's in his head? And your guest is as good
as mine. Where does he does it matter to him?
Does he not want the last year in the NFL
being a five and twelve season with the Jets? Cause
if he doesn't want that, Pittsburgh is a decent opportunity
with George Pickens and DK Metcalf. You got mooth over

(46:44):
over there. But he left without a deal, So I
don't know. I don't know what he's gonna do.

Speaker 4 (46:50):
Well again like this is this is. I think what
he's thinking is like, we're I mean, at best, we're winning,
you know, we'll do this ei this thing right playing
off wild card lose like that, it's the best case scenario.
And I think Pittsburgh's gonna tell him, like, bro, you're
not doing Pat McAfee show every day every week, like
you're not doing these things to become the Pittsburgh I

(47:10):
can't imagine Pittsburgh's letting him do those things, and he
might value that those media appearances in that next career
more than he values playing football still, and I would
imagine Pittsburgh also is like, we're not giving you a
thirty million a year, We're not giving you a forty.
And you get to a certain point of your career
where you have a number that you think you're worth
and you're like, I'm not playing for twenty when I

(47:32):
think I'm worth forty. He's made a lot of money.
I don't think he's I don't think he's hard for
a lot of money. He's got No, he's not married,
he's not paying for a child support, he's not like
now those are not less. I don't know. He has
a kid made like yeah, like he's got plenty of money,
and so he's not doing this last year for money.

(47:52):
And so you got to think, like, do I want
to live in Pittsburgh for a season. I just spent
two years. I guess I spent a whole career in
cold weather cities, But do.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
I want to know?

Speaker 4 (48:00):
Maybe he wants to go play in a war weather
city for a year. So there's all these things I
think that are part of the decision. They're not even
football related. You know, do I fit Arthur Smith's offense
is a football related question? Answer is probably no one does,
because he just runs the ball a bunch. You know,
you don't want to play with George Pickens and DK Metcalf,
guys I've never played with over the last seven years,
eight nine years, he's only played the dude, he knows.

(48:22):
He's only signed guys either, his friends, guys.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
You talk about following, like in Brett Farb's footsteps here,
I can remember far From bouncing around from team to
team the end of his career, and every off season
during his last couple of years there was a carnival
trying to find out where he would end up.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
I mean, yeah, it.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
Looks like the Steelers are nowhere. Really, I mean, uh,
you know, if he wants to hopefully, you know, if
he wants to join there with Tomlin this season, like
you said, the Giants signed Winston. I really think the
Giants are probably setting up maybe even a quarterback draft
pick here.

Speaker 5 (48:56):
With the.

Speaker 4 (48:59):
There's no numbers up yet. I don't think for these
for these uh yeah, these draft props, which I don't
know why they wait till the very last minute.

Speaker 3 (49:05):
But but I was big years ago. Wasn't wasn't in
a big betting market. My god, the draft was. But
let's be honest, it was because.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
I take it back, Ben and Jim does have where's
the Giants have a draftosition? Position of first drafted player?
I mean, I don't have enough money in my account
to probably wager on Giants quarterback on minus ten thousand.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
I slew all the way to New Jersey for that draft.
I mean, that's how good all the sports books head
lines up. I mean they all had lines for the draft,
and we had some really good. It was very profitable.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
I like some of these already. Position of first player
draft of Kansas City Chiefs defensive line plus two ten.
I'd put that. I put that way her now if
I were.

Speaker 3 (49:47):
You MGM right, yeah, yeah, But I didn't even know
they had the draft props up.

Speaker 4 (49:52):
I mean it depends on your state though, too, I
think right, sometimes they don't have them in all.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
The stimes the stage.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
Yeah, first offensive lineman drafted, you get the best off
its lineman it yeah, yeah, so but they don't have
Giants saying I would bet a lot of money on
the Giants taking quarterback first, you know, the first pick
of the draft. I mean, whether it's whether it's pick
one or whether it's picked three. At three, they're taking
a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (50:16):
By the way, I don't know if Campbell is going
to be the first lineman because he's gonna kick down
to guard most likely.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
You know, I don't all these guys have short arms
this year. I think that. I'm yeah, they have short arms.
I don't think that that's gonna matter too much. But nonetheless,
so yeah, there's all these Yeah, they got a lot.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Of they have a ton.

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Okay, here's what we have. Ton first defensive back drafted,
not Travis Hunter, Will Johnson and minus one ten. He's
It's just just he's easily the best cornerback available. I
don't that number feels short. I guess maybe they're still
worried about his knee at some point. But my point
is the Giants taking taking a quarterback number one, and
I would bet on it. I'm trying to find numbers
for it, on for it for you guys.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
Well.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
The last thing on the Rogers front is I think
that the Steelers the best option for them is Rogers
and I think the best option for Rogers is the Steelers.
I think that's the best that Bold can do. So
I probably comes down to dollars and cents. Jeff, you
hit on that where he's got a number in his
head that he thinks he's worth this, and maybe it's crack.

(51:19):
You had a tweet about general principle earlier this week.
This guy had an epic sign who was asking for money,
and it just had the signs said.

Speaker 3 (51:27):
Hungry, had to give him money.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
He had had to give him money on general principle.
But that's hold with Rogers's. It's general principle with Rogers
as well. He's not going to dip below a certain number.
Yeah right, yeah, And what was the sign?

Speaker 3 (51:41):
Crack? The guy's was, you know, really genius guy. But
I had his long like maybe like this eight foot
more maybe ten foot pipe and he somehow he didn't
glue them. He actually like soldered each letter h U
N G R Y. So listen, this guy's got to
get money on GP. I'm a sucker though, when it

(52:02):
comes to like if I see someone in an animal
or some dog, I gotta give them my name, said listen,
take care of that dog and you know, you want
to take the dog and say, listen, can I just
have the dog? But you know the next day they're
going to go down and get another one, you know
what I mean, from the pound or something. But I
am I'm soft on you know. We we have a
lot here and I feel bad for a lot of

(52:22):
the guys, a lot of veterans and stuff, and you
know a lot of post traumatic stress disorder from different wars,
and you know, I'm I'm I'm a little partial to that.
I know that sometimes I'm just I'm actually probably softer
than I should be, or I probably give too many
people and and and around town in general. But it's
nothing big. It's five bucks. It's not a big deal.

(52:44):
But I just thought it was what a genius with that,
And I put GP on there, and you know a
lot of people don't. I'm not even really that's like
a East Coast term GP. People ask me what's GP mean?
You know, so you knew right away?

Speaker 2 (52:55):
Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely, Well and I know this about
you too, crack, big fight fan, and we wanted.

Speaker 3 (53:01):
To mention this boxing. I shot that wart up too.
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:06):
George Foreman passed away at the age of seventy six
and a two time heavyweight champion, gold medalist in the
sixty eight Summer Olympics. His credentials speak for themselves. Obviously.
I love what Mike Tyson put up there because a
lot of times we just keep these guys in an
athlete box like as great as George Foreman was, sure
much more than that. And Mike Tyson put out their

(53:29):
condolences to George Foreman's family. His contribution to boxing and
beyond will never be forgotten. And listen, he's got a
bunch of loved ones, family and friends that goes well
beyond sports. But what a life man seventy six years
old and what a life.

Speaker 4 (53:45):
I mean the beyond sports thing. It was like the
Foreman grill was a staple in my house when I
was I started cooking on my own I was probably twelve,
and like, the Foreman grill was like how I cooked
all a ton of food. It was super safe and
it was and it was. And then of course it
became an episode in the office where Michael Scott grilled

(54:10):
his foot on the forming grill. I mean, like you're
that that whole episode where he's like He's like, I
like to walk up the smell of bacon, sue me,
and uh, it's fantastic. So yes, a lot more because look,
I grew he was not boxing during my childhood. I
knew him. I knew who he was, but I knew
him from like the infomercials of selling the products that

(54:32):
he was that he had, and there were good products.
They weren't just like you know, crummy products. So oh
former im I do the former girl so simph.

Speaker 3 (54:39):
Am I it was scary home in America have one
of these things.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
It was so easy, Like Mike, we have an air
fire now like a toaster ove and I choose my
kids to start using now and they do. They can
make sort of their own stacks on it. But the
former gril was so easy. It was safe, it was effective,
can make all types of stuff on it. It was
it was, it was good.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
So Jeff is now the the air frier took over
for the grill forming grill people.

Speaker 4 (55:03):
Yeah, but I I I I the air fier is interesting,
you know, I has this applications. I don't like the
air friers. I have a toaster of an air fryer,
so I so it's on the counter for the kids.
To use and they can have the different settings on it.
One's airfry, one's bake, one's like reheat, there's a pizza setting.

(55:24):
So the kids can just use it. I'm teaching them
how to use it themselves. I don't have to make
every meal for them, which is kind of nice, but
it is the the ease as someone who I have
baseball or softball for my kids five days a week.
Right now, you might go to six. You're coaching, right,
coaching softball? Yeah? Bad game last night? Who? Bad game

(55:45):
yesterday for we lost for nothing? Bad bad day?

Speaker 3 (55:47):
Any parents going after you?

Speaker 1 (55:50):
No?

Speaker 4 (55:52):
No, I So I'll tell you quickly. So the way
the league works is you you start with the one
accounts eight and under right eight, you started the one
o count. The girls throw three balls, there's no walks.
Coach comes in and pitches. You get three pitches and
to hit the ball and you're out. Okay if you're
the batter. The goals essentially to get to the coach pitch.
Like the girls aren't hitting off each other. So the

(56:14):
guy who pitches for us and we scored seventeen runs
the first two games was not there. He coaches his
son's team so I had to fill in his pitcher. Now,
I threw a bunch of strikes. The girls didn't hit
it all yesterday. So I feel like a schmo because
I was the pitcher and no one hit off me yesterday.
The girl said the ball was coming in too high

(56:34):
because I was too tall, so I have to like scratch,
I have to like get lower and pitch the ball
to them. So I feel bad because I cost I
feel like I cost our team the game. No hit
two hits yesterday.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
Yeah, but just the first time, you don't you've had
this format where you you've actually.

Speaker 4 (56:49):
First time the first time I've had to pitch normally
someone else does the pitcher. I coached third base normally,
and I coached third basely. Scored seventeen runs in two games.
I mean, my daughter struck out. It was the first.
She was eight for eight before that, and I struck
her out.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
He struck her own daughter out really nicely.

Speaker 4 (57:05):
Yeah, big craft.

Speaker 3 (57:08):
But going back to Big George, you know, I've met
him a couple of times. He actually again, he's one
of the other guys that came to Teddy's, one of
Teddy's Dinners charity dinners, and I met him at one
of the Friday Night fights where I used to I
used to travel all around with Teddy when he was
doing Friday Night fights for twenty years on ESPN, all
over the country. I've been with him and I used
to go. It just goes my fun thing to do

(57:29):
in the off season, you know, during the summer. But
I met Big George twice and he was so friendly,
so nice. Well, actually I met him three times because
I met him u at the Boxing Hall of Fame
in Canastota. I was up there when when my friend
Teddy and Don Elbaum, both guys ninety three year old
boxing matchmaker, just talked to him yesterday. So he's been

(57:50):
around with George multiple times. And I met George up there.
He was just such a he would take time for
the fans. You're just a good guy, always that smile on.
We were really upset that that he passed and Mike
An dolences to his family and he has got a
big family too, and uh, just just a good all
around guy boxers in general. I want to tell you

(58:10):
something I've noticed. I've been around a lot of these
guys the last twenty twenty five years. They are so
friendly compared to some of the other sports. I mean,
I was with Sugar Ray and Roberto Ran one time
ringside taking photos. Nice as can be again at one
of those Friday night fights. Boxing people, even at the
Hall of Fame every summer. Just really nice people compared

(58:33):
to some of the other sports fans, you know where
they're they're just a little bit egotistical and and you know,
I remember tried one time. I was like, you know,
I was a kid.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
I was, I was.

Speaker 3 (58:43):
I was a big baseball fan. Tried to meet like
Mark McGuire one time, Mike Schmidt, both both I don't
want to curse on air, but not not the not
the best guys, uh, both of them.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
So hey, I like what you said about Big George,
because listen, man, people remember that if you're nice to them,
if you're friendly in person, they remember that. Everybody has
a bad autograph story. If you're into that sort of thing,
someone blows you up. You never forget that, man. So
I'm glad that you had a great interactions with George Foreman.
And what a career man, if you just look at

(59:16):
the sports side of it, we're Olympic champion, two time
heavyweight champion, think about that he regained the heavyweight title.
He was nearly forty six years old. It was ten
years between fights. He was out of boxing in his
late twenties and then came back ten years later. Remember
the epic Evander Holyfield fight. He's forty two years old.

(59:40):
I'll never forget the Sports Illustrated cover. It just said
slugfest and those guys were beating on each other, you know,
like it was insane. What George Foreman was able to
do as.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
A morev for the heavyweight that's right, title.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
Beats a heavyweight boxer almost forty six, like he until
he was almost forty nine.

Speaker 3 (59:59):
Unbelievable and what he did was unbelievable. And if anyone
has a chance to watch the When We Were Kings,
I think it's on you know, it's on whatever, one
of those Netflix or something. What a great special When
We Were Kings. I recommend that to anyone. It's only
like an hour and ten minutes. As Arons twenty minutes
was fantastic.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Awesome, awesome stuff. But yes, condolences to the friends and family.
But what a life, what a life gone at seventy six.
But always we'll remember George Foreman no doubt about that.
All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz,

All right, let's do this. Follow the money, real good money. Yes,
we welcome in Christian Sippolini, bet MGM Trading Manager. Good
morning to you, Christian. Okay, we've got eight games in
college hoops today on the men's side. Which game in
particular do you have your eye on the most? Of course,

(01:01:45):
with your ties to bet MGM, which one do you
have circled?

Speaker 5 (01:01:49):
Well, my ans is gonna be different than probably you'd
expect them what most people are thinking here. But for me,
the number one thing that I'm looking for is Kentucky
beating Illinois. They are last remaining strict in school, uh,
meaning one that you can't bet on Illinois. In Illinois,
we've gotten the rest of them gone, So for me,
it'll make my life much easier. We can just get
rid of Illinois. Outside of that, obviously, the two big

(01:02:14):
ones are gonna be Blarner in Duke on the board,
the pretty big favorites. I'm mixed about what we actually want.
Uh That one of them losing would be great, but
it might be a little bit better if they actually
make it a round or two later.

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
I know that yesterday a lot of the favorites covered,
but there were some of them that like were not
the basically you know, not like the public side, right
because you know, some of these underdogs people have really loved.
How have you guys sort of made out so far
in the tournaments. I feel like even though some of
the favorites have been covering a lot, you've probably been
okay with that because a lot of people have been
on dogs.

Speaker 5 (01:02:50):
Yeah, so this tournament is always, yeah, very weird and different.
If I'm comparing the last tournament, this tournam has been amazing.
Tournament was the one where fifteen to one favorites winner
on the first couple of days, so that was an ideal,
but this has been a little bit better. As you said, Yeah,
this is more of an event where the book will

(01:03:11):
take more underdog money than we would and you know
other events typically it is straight favorites. So this tournament's
been okay. The first to days were, you know, good.
I guess there was a bit average. I would say
it's probably a little bit lower than our expectations have been,
but yeah, a little a little bit mixed is the best.

Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Second time, Christian my main man. Let me tell you
about the k Man. So I you know, I made
some multiple deposits with you guys about I'll give the
numbers about thirty five, as you know, had up to
a buck thirty five. Well, let me tell you. Let
me tell you what's happened lately. Though I have been destroyed,

(01:03:56):
I lost about half of it back to you guys
still have a pretty healthy sixty five to thirty profit.
But let me ask you a question. So I lost
a lot of money the last couple of days, and
I've been around some sports books in town here where
some of the directors talk to me. I have to
ask you. They actually said they made money with all

(01:04:19):
these favorites winning, and one of the books was very,
very happy with his success. Now you're saying the same
thing that you guys were pretty successful with all those
favorites winning the last two days. Well I'm sorry Thursday
and Friday, you're agreeing with that.

Speaker 5 (01:04:35):
Yeah, I mean we're in the same boat. Like it
wasn't I guess the right upset happened for us. I'd
have to go like dive in. I know last year
was fifteen of one, like we got absolutely smoked. So
when I'm sitting there watching the tournament going like this,
you know might not be so good. There hasn't been
a tough offsets, but there has been a few, and
I guess you know, those the ones that have I

(01:04:57):
guess have just gone in as good enough direction. Like
I said, it's I think we're a little bit below
where we expected. But so again if I compared.

Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
Too for the situation. Yeah, and in the Grand Canyon game,
were you guys rooting from Maryland in that game or no?

Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
Yeah, we weren't like that.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
It's amazing some of the right ones Jesus to be there.

Speaker 5 (01:05:19):
You know, people were on Grand Canyon, uh, Michigan versus
you see San Diego the other day. There's a bunch
of people on there too. So some of them have
seemed to just go we just got lucky a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
On somebody's Christian. That's interesting what you said about Illinois
and some of these states that are restricted, Like people
that live in Illinois can't bet on Illinois. Can you
explain that a little bit more where from your perspective,
what leads to what you guys want to happen? Right? Like,
what's the ripple effect for you you guys with those

(01:05:52):
restricted states.

Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
Yeah, so when they can't bet on that state, it
just changes the way that we need to do from
a book making standpoint. So if I'm putting the futures
odds up in Illinois. I no need to remove Illinois,
but because that will then give a team, you know,
a team behind them, a team in their bracket is
now going to suddenly have a better chance with that
team removed, because in those states also say you have

(01:06:18):
to pay out second place. So if Illinois is a win,
we have to pay out second place. We need to
completely change the way we do odds. And then that
stems down to team to make the final four, team
to make the Elite Eate. All of those go together,
and it just makes it much more difficult from the
trading platform because we usually have to do the work
double and sometimes surefull depending on the amount of states
that are still alive. So, uh, Saint John's losing was uh,

(01:06:41):
you know, good for us at least from a trading
standpoint of the fact that I don't have to double
up work anymore. So that's why the one remaining left,
if I can make it so that I only have
to set one set of odds, that will be much
more happy.

Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
So sort of these later games today, you know we
have Alabama, we got the lake an type between organ
Arizona that that that number is moving by I think
two points now off the open New Mexico, Michigan State,
Iowa State, Old Miss. Is there a side or total
here you're eyeing? Is sort of the book the book.

Speaker 5 (01:07:12):
Meeting tonight, Yeah, the one that I think, Like I said,
people like to bet dogs in this one, But the
one dog that isn't getting much attention is New Mexico.
We've taken a ton of Michigan State money, so New
Mexico can at least just cover that game. That would
be pretty ideal for us from those late standpoints. Another
one that's interesting is mississ Ole, Miss Ohio State. We've

(01:07:35):
definitely taken more Old Miss money than than Iowa State.
So one of the rare cons that we're rooting for
a favorite in this one.

Speaker 6 (01:07:41):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:07:41):
And then that late ones missed to Oregon Arizona. I
think maybe we'll see a little bit more as it
gets closer and see if anybody's chasing or putting some
of their winnings into that game.

Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
By the right now to mix Christian, the listeners always
love these type of notable bets. Zachary sent us these
five hundred dollars on Duke to win the national Championship
to win to win was at one point seven to
five million, one hundred thousand Florida State to win the
national Championship. I knew about that one already. But the

(01:08:11):
Duke one's new Florida to Florida to win it gets
nine hundred thousand back. So I'm looking at the biggest liabilities. Obviously,
you guys are glad Saint John's is out of there,
but Duke would be the big one though, right, so
you want them even to lose today, I'm sure you
want them out of there, am I right?

Speaker 5 (01:08:30):
Yeah, especially with that half a million out there now.
Suddenly that the team that we want gone really as
fast as possible. But kind of like I said, it
does you know what we actually want might be a
little bit mixed because are they going on the round
or two? That might be good for us more because
they obviously attracted some more actions. But yeah, at some
point we definitely Duke's the main one we're gonna want

(01:08:51):
gone Florida after that. And then another big that we
took recently too, is we took a fifty k bet
on Houston to win the tournament two days ago. So
oh that or I that we're probably gonna want to
avoid as we get closer. So right now the book
once I'm from realistic teams Auburn and Tennesseeter the two
that we like at this point.

Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
Great cool, all right, well Christian always great stuff. Good
hanging with you, man, have a good day. We'll catch
you soon.

Speaker 5 (01:09:17):
Yeah, you got to have a great day, great college
baste day.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Absolutely, it is no doubt there he is Christian Cippolini
bet MGM trading manager. And we go from heavy hitter
to heavy hitter, from Christian Cipolini to Isaac loewand Krannini.

Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
A little eye on that.

Speaker 5 (01:09:36):
So you do know?

Speaker 6 (01:09:37):
So you do know my given name on my birth
certificate after all, that's.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Right, Yes, you just drop that for you know purposes,
That's right. I'll be undisclosed.

Speaker 6 (01:09:48):
Yes, absolutely amazing radio name, stage names, amazing what you
can find on the internet these days. Anyway, and around
two of the NCAA tournament on Saturday night, succeed b
YU advanced of the sweets sixteen for the first time
in fourteen years. They knocked off three seed Wisconsin ninety
one to eighty nine, despite thirty seven by the Badgers
John Tom Jay one seed Houston advanced to the Sweet sixteen,

(01:10:11):
eliminating eight seed Kinzaga eighty one to seventy six point
thirty from L. J. Crier at broken Zaga streak of
nine consecutive Sweet sixteen appearances. Two seed Tennessee advance for
the sixty seven to fifty eight win over seven seed UCLA.
Today's action tips off at twelve ten Eastern time with
a second round matchup between one seed Florida and eight

(01:10:34):
seed Yukon.

Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
Out of the West Region and in the NBA.

Speaker 6 (01:10:38):
On Saturday night, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Lakers in
LA one forty six to one fifteen by thirty six
from Kobe White. For the story, Josh Giddy needed just
two steals for a quadruple doubly finished with fifteen points,
ten rebounds, seventeen assists and eight steals. Lebron James seventeen
points in thirty one minutes in his return after missing

(01:11:00):
six games with a strained left growing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):

you can earn a share of fifty thousand dollars in

you going with today? Who you got?

Speaker 3 (01:12:02):
Let's go with James Harden, Clippers playing against a depleted
Thunder team. The Clippers have won five in a row.
Looking to improve their playoff seating, Harden should be looking
to score a lot today. I expect them to attempt
like ten of these things. So let's let's go with Harden.

Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
Nice all right, I'm gonna probably take a different path here.
I'm sending double checks up in here, Brian, just to
make sure I have this. I had this right here,
so I'm not saying anything crazy. I'm gonna take Malik
Beasley of the Pistons here, last twenty games, averaging four
point threes per game with a forty rate of making these.

(01:12:44):
His number day is four and a half. So you know,
we think a lot of three is we made against
the Pelicans whore right, twenty sixth an opponent three point
shooting percentage. So give me Beasley here over, I guess
we'd be easily to have the most the most threes today.

Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
That's right. Our guy Chris Purfett, technical producer, you know,
got all the Detroit sounds ready to fire. So he's
on board with that. Malik Beasley. I like that pick.
He's had a really good season. I'm looking at this
Hawks Sixers game. So they both stink at defending the three,
which is good news for us. So they both allow
over thirty seven percent their opponents three point percentage. So

(01:13:27):
I'm gonna look at the Sixers here. Give me Quinton
Grimes he's letting them fly Atlanta in the second day
of a back to back, So gimme Quinton Grimes to
shoot a bunch of threes and hopefully make a good
amount of them. So there you go. There you go,
too bad. The Lakers don't play today, right, Jeff, you
could just fade their pathetic defense and just ride with
anybody to hit three pointers against them like last night.

Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
Right, that felt rird and uncalled for. But I mean,
I get it. I mean we definitely deserve that. So, yeah,
that was I saw a box this morning that was
that was not good.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
They gave up a buck forty six at home to
the Bulls.

Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
Were doing it was good. I didn't say it was good, No,
I know, I.

Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
Know I'm agreeing with you. Sounds like I'm disagree I
have this I'm programmed with this chip where it sounds
like I'm disagreeing with people, but I'm agreeing, like I'm
totally agreeing with you. Where Yeah, it was ugly last
night and the band was back, you had Lebron Luca
Hotcha Murrow was back, and they they know showed did
you grow.

Speaker 3 (01:14:28):
Up going to a lot of the Lakers games? Or no?

Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
Yeah, at the at the form though not I.

Speaker 3 (01:14:34):
Think allow that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
Oh yeah, yeah, have.

Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
You ever been there Hollywood Park there right yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
You ever been to a crypto?

Speaker 4 (01:14:40):
Me, yeah, I've seen No one calls a crypto still
I've uh, I've been a couple of Clippers games there.
I don't think have been a Lakers game.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
Just like you've seen the Clippers, but not the Lakers.

Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
It's in downtown LA. It's a lot of it's a
lot of it was a lot of money. The form
was cheap man easier to get to.

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
We go.

Speaker 4 (01:15:03):
We go eat the sizzler across the street right there,
yeah yeah, and then go walk across the street. So
we didn't go to the sizzler for the food, went
for the thing. You park in the parking lot a
cork on the street next to sizzler, and then get
a quick quick out of the forum. No, we sat
like like the Lakers used to have their play by play.
They might still have it this way, but the Lakers

(01:15:25):
had their play by play guys like up in the stands,
not on the court, like way up in the stands.
And it was so we were behind like the media.
We're like the third row from the top. It was
it was great?

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
Yeah, not bad at all. All right, We've got Bill Krachenberger,
professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz with us eight year NFL
veteran I'm Brian.

Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
No.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):

let's dive into this prop it up player plays. All right, crack,

(01:17:06):
you love the prop betting market. What do you have
for us, buddy?

Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
All right, let's go to a college game, a rare
college prop here. Mitchell Saxon, Saint Mary's points over ten
and a half minus one twenty six foot ten center.
Here they play Alabama that struggles on defense in the paint.
Saxon scored seventy five percent of his buckets in the paint,
and I expect him to have this success today. Also

(01:17:32):
possible rebounds put backs against this Alabama team. But so
here we go. There, there's the points over ten and
a half Saxon.

Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
I'd like too. I'm gonna actually start in this game here,
so I look, I can't pronounce his name in St.
Mary's the league for two time West Coast Conference Player
of the Year Krackenberger is Bill Krochenber. Actually, the average's
fourteen points. He did not shoot the ball terribly well

(01:18:02):
against Vanderbilt. It took a little bit of time to
get going, end up with fourte against Vanderbilt. His number is,
it's fifteen and a half at plus one hundred right
now over on betege. I'm sure if you could wag
a little bit of time, you know, you might get
back to fourteen and a half here. I think he
plays well today against Alabama, who plays no defense. I
think he just gets kind of back on a group
of things and we see a good a good number

(01:18:24):
from him today And the other one I like. I
like Orgon's big man Nate Biddle over sixteen half points
against Arizona tonight. I had him over, oh geez, I
him over fourteen and a half against Liberty. He finished
with fourteen points. Guys, he had nine points at halftime.
He played the first five minutes of the second half
and scored no points. I thought he was done for

(01:18:46):
the game. They're up thirty points. They put him back
in with six minutes left, so he takes off eight minutes.
He scores five points in a minute and a half,
goes out of the game again, finish it with fourteen points.
Oh only twenty two minutes. He'll play over thirty tonight
against Arizona. I like him in this matchup against Arizona,
who gets up and down. But it'll be a big
part of this game. So give me a bittle over

(01:19:07):
sixty a half points.

Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
Okay, Hey, we're expecting points in this Illinois Kentucky game,
right Yeah. And interesting stat with Illinois, so they're allowing
opponents to shoot over forty one percent from three since
the start of February. I've not done a good job
against the three. So I'm looking at Kobe Brea to
give me over two and a half threes today. He's

(01:19:31):
consistently volume. You gotta look at volume. He's consistently taking
six seven threes a game, so that's a normal number
for him. So if he gets six seven attempts today,
I like his chances to go over two and a half.
I'll go with Kobe Brea of UK and what I
think is going to be a shootout against Illinois. I
think we're going to be scoring points here today. Tell

(01:19:52):
us what's the total at one seventy and that's just
checky high.

Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
That's why I'm on my im. That's the funny you
said that that was a big total earlier. Let's sEH,
it's up to right now.

Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
One sixty nine and a half tick down to point.
Still that's high.

Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
That's still high college tea, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
I wouldn't be surprised. Also that same game, Will Riley
of Illinois, he's been a bucket. He's gone for twenty
plus in three of the last four games, so it's
over seventeen and a half. If you're interested in Will Riley,
I would not be surprised. If he's a good side
as well, a good prop, I should say, but taking

(01:20:32):
the open might work out as well. Keep an eye
on that, all right. Coming up next, you might be
buying this team stock while selling this other team stock.
And they played a game. Oh welcome in Happy Sunday
two years. We get you all set some college basketball action.
How about this one, fellas. We got Baylor taking on

(01:20:54):
Duke Man Duke was impressive. Yeah, they were playing a
sixteen seed, but they smacked them good. And Cooper Flagg
came back from that ankle injury, said he felt one
hundred percent, said he felt comfortable, he looked like it
as well. So against a Baylor team today, they're bottom
seventy five in pace. That's Baylor. I was thinking about that.

(01:21:16):
You know, we always have football on the brain. Ball
is always on the brain, right Jeff and Crack. And
it made me think in this matchup, it's really hard
to play a slower pace if you're losing and losing
by more and losing by more. Think of being a
football team where you just can't score fast. You'll kind
of nickel and diamond down the field. You're running game,

(01:21:38):
it's gonna take you six to seven minutes to score
if you're down by two touchdowns. Now you're down by
seventeen points. It's really hard to stay true to your formula.
And so a team like Baylor today, when they're one
of these slower paced teams, if they're losing by double digits,
it's gonna be really hard to stay true to what

(01:21:58):
you do best. So it's something to keep an eye
on here today.

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
It is.

Speaker 4 (01:22:04):
Look the Duke game. I just I mean, what's the
path for Baylor to keep this clean close?

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Brian, Yeah, it's just so deep, man. They're so talented.

Speaker 4 (01:22:15):
Mein won the a SEC tournament without their best player
and one of the other best players hurt and They're
both back, and they just don't have a weakness. I
just I think Baylor is a they're okay team. They're
ten and ten, big twelve team, are they? Are they
keeping this game close? I don't think so so that
that I haven't bet Duke yet. I really want to.

(01:22:35):
I'm kind of just curious to see if they're a
little bit of Baylor money comes in and it might
change the number of tiny bit but not not really.
I don't think it's gonna changed much. I've bet on
Saint Mary's. I got him a six and a half,
and I'm kind of terrified of that wager.

Speaker 2 (01:22:53):
Because terrified it might be a good sign though, you.

Speaker 4 (01:22:58):
Know, yeah, probably, Well here's why. So it's definitely the
right side, I mean pre flop, right, I mean that
everyone's in Alabama today, right, Saint Mary's is from the
West Coast Conference, you know, like not a big They're
not Gonzaga, right, Gonzaga got pretty much they actually they
ended up covering depending on what number you got last night.
They they fought back, but that the most that game.

(01:23:20):
Houston was controlling that game right like it wasn't It
wasn't terribly close. Gon zachar sort of fought at the
end to cover there. And and I just I think
people look at Alabama's offensive firepower, but Saint Mary's plays
so slow. The problem with playing with paying playing that
slow and they're they're three hundred and sixty to the tempo,
which told us woul drink a little bit yesterday with

(01:23:40):
with Texas Tech. You have to be so precise on offense.
I mean, if you play that slow, you got to
You've got to score all the time, at the last
second of every shot clok. And Saint Mary's is not
a good shooting team. They're not exceptional shooting the three,
not exceptional making the two. And pep wont matter with Alabama.

(01:24:01):
Maybe just speed up a little bit against Bama. And
they play such bad defense, it doesn't matter you don't
shoot well. But that kind of worries me about about this.
But Bama, look, Robert Morris, that game was close in
the second half. I mean, it just they just don't
play a defense. And for as good as Alabama as offensively, guys,
they do have many moments where they just go in

(01:24:22):
the shell offensively. And if I get that for five
minutes a game, I think I cover, so it won't
surprise me if Saint Mary's one. I guess it would
surprise me a little bit if they won. But covering
crack all back the dog here, and hopefully I haven't
personal would have many dogs in this tournament because I
just don't think the money. I just think I just

(01:24:43):
we saw the first day. I was like, I'm off
these dogs. I'm just not doing it. I'm kind of
worried about that today, but we'll see if if I
have one other first half actually like dog, which kind
of worries me too, but we'll see all goes.

Speaker 3 (01:24:56):
You know, you mentioned that Gonzaga game yesterday. Really nobody
should have lost that game. It's real simple if you
bet anything serious. And when I say serious, you guys
know I use one hundred dollars as that's pretty serious
to me. I mean, so there was literally the day
before the game, I seen a couple of four and
a halfs even yesterday was minus five evens on the screen,

(01:25:18):
which means you could have actually had a four and
a half. Most people won't buy a half on. I
actually wouldn't have done that situation. But there was fives,
and there was plenty of five and a half, so
you you really shouldn't have lost that game yesterday. And
that's that's that's what separates, you know, the men from
the boys. If you're a professional, you're betting on more
than one hundred dollars a game, you know to have
multiple sportsbooks. So Baylor Duke interesting one to look at here.

(01:25:42):
Duke hasn't really been tested in many games this season
and really hasn't played a close game at full strength
in months. So I do, but I still don't think
I can lay that twelve and a half hour with Duke.
I'm kind of staying away from this game altogether. In
the other game, SAT Saint Mary's Alabama all so, a
very interesting matchup today, two doors, totally different contrast of

(01:26:06):
style on this game. Alabama top rating scoring offense in
the country. Saint Mary's brings one of the top ratings,
you know, scoring defenses to the table. Obviously, Bama wants
this game in the nineties and Saint mary will try
to keep it low in the sixties. So it should
be fun. I tell you, this is the day, you know,
those first two days I was out in the casinos,

(01:26:27):
we had no juice. Here. I almost got arrested for
betting and using my brain. It was. It was a battle.
You know. It's funny. My wife said, I can't believe
you were out two days in a row, fifteen and
sixteen hours. I looked at my steps, even myself walking
around a couple different casinos. I walked twenty one thousand
steps in two days just running around town. I am

(01:26:49):
really looking forward to just the chill, sit back on
the I have a home office here, sit back on
the couch and watch the games today and the opening game. Boy,
you know, even like I said, the opening game, I'm
looking forward to Florida, Connecticut nine to nine and a
half out there. I would look for Connecticut maybe to
keep it close and maybe maybe that live wagering thing

(01:27:10):
that Jeff talked about earlier could be a reality here.
So it should be fun. Should be a fun today.

Speaker 4 (01:27:15):
That's what I'm That's what I'm making on this game. Yeah,
is the first one.

Speaker 3 (01:27:18):
I mean, you're stay at home? Are you're watching the
games early?

Speaker 4 (01:27:21):
Yeah? I pick my kids up from Hebrewsco. After this,
But I think I'll make it home in time to
live wage. It won't matter that early in the game,
of course, Here's here's a here's a question for you,
crack about shopping around. So you give out the prop
earlier with the Saxton over points right over over ten
and a half. One sports book had eleven and a

(01:27:41):
half minus one eighteen. A different one had had over
ten and a half minus one thirty. I took. I
took the over ten and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
I think that's what I would have done. Okay, So
question that's how important those points are? Yeah, and probably
worked the twelve cents there.

Speaker 4 (01:27:55):
Yeah, that's my question, just letting you guys know that.
That's the point of having different books is just being
able because like I saw eleven and a half, I
was like in an NBA game, To be honest, I
care less about that. I feel like in college basketball
it's a shorter game the end of games. These teams
just grind the game down to halt. The end of
these games, like points are hard to come by an

(01:28:17):
NBA game, I might be okay with being off a
point on a prop that did you like? Crack right,
very I think we're a very rareant NBA. At least
the budget I've made this season has half a point
or point matter. It's like either they either get way
over or they just get way under. There's no in between.
So I yeah, so make sure a shot around, guys,
that's kind of the point of this. Make sure a

(01:28:37):
shop brown and get ready to wage er on women's
college basketball as soon as there's that or first game
New Eastern.

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
The games that we were hitting on. It's interesting, like
I'm sure you're program like this crack, but it just
it feels so square to even say out loud, I'm
gonna take Duke minus twelve and a half. Know it
just that just feels square. But it might be the
right side.

Speaker 4 (01:29:06):
To it's not. It's not square, guy, Brian Duke has Like,
what is the argument for for for for Baylor today?
To me, right, is that essentially Duke just doesn't play
as well, right, Like, what what's the what's the basketball
argument for Baylor keeping this game close? Just like, oh,

(01:29:29):
it's a tournament. It's a little funky, it's a little
tournament's a little weird, right that that's like, that's the argument.
I don't know, there's no basketball reason this game should
be close. Duke has has has murdered everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:29:39):
I know, Jeremy Roach, Jeremy Roach, will be out for blood,
you know the former Dukie.

Speaker 4 (01:29:44):
Oh well, actually I actually liked it. I actually liked
I actually liked taking the team, you know, the opposite
of that out for blood thing like that. That to me,
he's hard to play sports that way, especially in a
not like I get in a violence sport football. I
don't get as much in this. I don't think did that.

Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
Well, that's the thing, man, Against a really really good
defensive Duke team, you have to have Baylor, I'm just
light it up. You got to have them force turnovers,
get easy buckets in transition, shoot a high percentage, like literally,
get hot from three, all those things. It's gonna be
really tough to do any of that against Duke because again,

(01:30:21):
they're just so good defensively and what they have in
depth and on the offensive and defensive class, there's just
so many advantages. So yeah, again, I think it might
sound square to you. It might go against your betting
DNA to be like I'm betting Duke might as twelve
and a half. It just it feels like, oh gosh,

(01:30:42):
am I stepping into a bear trap here.

Speaker 3 (01:30:44):
But especially as we go deeper and deeper in these tournaments,
there's no square bets. I mean, this is gonna come
down to these top teams. So I understand what you
would mean during throughout the season when all the public's
betting Duke just pus are two any thought, But in
the tournament here and situationally, I think that as we

(01:31:05):
go deeper, it doesn't become that square time of what
you would say early in the season here.

Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
So yeah, you know, and you guys are mentioning this
Saint Mary's Alabama game, and like you said, the contrast
and styles just pace tempo. You know, Saint Mary's one
of the slowest teams in college basketball. Alabama is the
fastest team. So just to see how each team handles that.

(01:31:33):
How is Alabama going to handle a team playing that slowly?
You know, can they still speed it up offensively and
be in a flow, be in a rhythm offensively? And
also Saint Mary's, like, can they just grind it down
and not sort of get sucked into that Alabama tempo
when that's not what they really want to do. That'll

(01:31:56):
be interesting to see it play out, for sure. I
can't wait to see how just those contrast of tempos,
how it plays out today in Cleveland.

Speaker 4 (01:32:04):
Yeah, and obviously we'll we'll see you know, is uh
pretty early. I don't like how they schedule these games
like they do a bunch of stand alone games early
that just style up at night. Yeah, which I get,
I get, I get it, but I really don't. I
don't like it that much.

Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
I don't care for it. By the way, we've touched
on this. We got to give you the full story, right,
I mean really like Crack was hitting us on the
text thread that he is surrounded. You know, he's at
a casino, there's a promotion. There's no juice with your bets.
He made a bet for the limit and then he

(01:32:38):
made another bet and apparently that was a no no.
Krack didn't know this, and he was essential surrounded. Yeah,
the suits were around you, you know, and he's telling
us this.

Speaker 3 (01:32:49):
I gave the tellers one hundred dollars. By the way,
give a one hundred dollars, guys. I know the one's tip.
Today's a hundred bucks. You guys all split this. I'm
betting some max bets here. You guys have been really friendly,
really helpful. Five minutes a hal I gave the hundo.
They came to me, Like I said, like like a
a pork chopd like a pit bull on a pork chop.
My god, get that man. Stop that man, he's trying
to win.

Speaker 5 (01:33:10):
What did they do?

Speaker 4 (01:33:11):
They so, what do they tell you?

Speaker 3 (01:33:12):
Listen, you're taking advantage here, I said, well, it was
two hours and twenty minutes. Come on, guys. I just
didn't think about it. But if I was to know
that it's laid out that, hey, you can't bet the
same team more than once, especially hours later, you know.
But then again, listen, I thought about this all, and

(01:33:34):
you know, I'm always a little bit tough on sportsbooks.
They're having a great promotion zero Juice, trying to raise
some awareness of their sports book. You know, I wasn't
really thinking think about this, so I laid it took
plus seven and a half. Let's say they go to
minus seven. Now, well, now they're going to come in
with people bet in the favorite no juice, and they

(01:33:55):
open themselves up to be insided or middled. Even even
later in the day, I noticed I laid I took
thirty three on somebody. There was the biggest line out there.
And and then then what they moved to thirty two?
So listen, minus thirty two no Juice plus thirty three
no juice. That's a great opportunity. I listen, it's not

(01:34:17):
two or three, but it's still two free numbers. Either
you push, you push, or you win. I mean, so
I understand what they were up against. Their a little
more thinking it out, I just they could have came
to me in a different way. In the end, we
wind up talking it out. And you know, it's funny.
I'm one of the only guys that promoted this promotion

(01:34:37):
on social media, so they got like seventy five thousand
views because of me awareness. But yet I'm the one
that they're throwing out first. Amazing, but and the funny
thing that with myself, it's pretty funny.

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
Crack Cracks just giving us the play by play. They're
yelling at me. I'm yelling back, and I yelled. It's
just like so Yale, so Yale. I forgot he didn't Yale, I.

Speaker 3 (01:35:02):
Said, they're yelling there, they're they're yelling at me and I.
But well, the threat that came down, like my boss
wants to throw you, I said, please do it. I
want you to do it, because the bane of my
existence will be to go after them. Everywhere could throw me.
I'm the other thing. I promoting the joint. You want
to throw me out? And and and that. Jeff didn't
care that the cuffs were out and they were some
dangle on my face. He just said, so cracked, did

(01:35:24):
you say, Yale?

Speaker 4 (01:35:25):
I'm like, I'm talking voice. I think I was like
cracked Yale. Yep right, ye, he said in the text
youre not Yale. He Max, Now to be Max about
the next text you sent said you did almost get arrested.
The first couple were just like play by play of
not much. And I was like, well I saw Yale.
I was like, he's I mean Max betting Yale? Like
sign me up for that? Sign up for that twice

(01:35:48):
and then Russ Wade to chime into the very end.
He wanted the wager too. He could tell he was caught.
I took thee for asking me about the wager, but
uh yeah, so no, it was uh it's it's my
fault we lost the wager. I would have been arrested,
the wager would have won.

Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
I can't wait till preseason football. That's all I could say.

Speaker 4 (01:36:07):
Oh, I can't wait. I was in Miami during a
lot of that I actually had to. I had to.
I had to like re up an account because you know,
legal sports wagering don't want to do there.

Speaker 3 (01:36:21):
What were you doing in Miami?

Speaker 4 (01:36:23):
Well, so what happened was we were supposed to be
at the We go to the beach over here in
South Carolina in August, like early August for a week.
There was a hurricane, so we left and my wife
is very particular about taking vacation, so we booked a
trip to Miami instead, like the next day. So we
went to Miami for like four days. Florida. Doesn't you

(01:36:43):
know they have one sports book operator hard Hardwall. I
wasn't downloading the app, so I just had to re
up one of my other accounts because, uh, those accounts
don't limit me at all. Ever, I also think, guys, again,
the wagers I get limited on, I lose. It's like
the Dumbesta, like you're amazing and it's costing itself money,

(01:37:04):
but not letting me wager three hundred dollars on something
two dollars like no, yeah, I'm like okay, and then
I lose to wager. You cost yourself money. I don't
know why you do this to yourself so my offstows.
Don't limit me those preseason wagers. Buddy, I got the
tally right here. I think I could pull up my
spreadsheet right now.

Speaker 3 (01:37:20):
It was it was uh And you know we're talking
about dropping it down in two weeks, guys. I hate that.
Oh my god, please don't happen. Two weeks of preseason.
They dropped us from four weeks to three weeks already,
and it just I mean, I don't want it to happen.
It's a very beatable sport, as we know, as everyone
that is with me knows, and you guys know, it's

(01:37:42):
very beatable. And and anything that's beatable, you know, those
edges go away. We talked about it earlier that draft,
the NFL draft and NBA draft. Let me just tell
you NBA draft Banchero. I literally live where I live
now because of Banchero being that first pick. That's how

(01:38:03):
good that pick was to me. Many sportsbooks took many
dollars from me at eighteen to twenty to one to
one in fourteen to one. It was a really good time.
So though, but however, that's over. The party's over. You
cannot bet any serious money on these, so I'm happy
to see that. Today, Jeff pointed out MGM has all
these different betting options on the NFL Draft, so I'm

(01:38:27):
sure Christian's gonna love me here with you with a
few bets on them.

Speaker 2 (01:38:30):
So I do love, by the way, the difference like
the football community the gambling community. Sometimes they can sort
of be intertwined, but they are different. Crack when you're
talking about the preseason, where a lot of NFL fans
would be like eighteen regular season games, great, sign me up,

(01:38:50):
where the betting community is like, no, we lose a
preseason week, No, thank you. I have such an advantage
with preseason bets. So of course it's funny the two
different worlds right there. All right, we've got Billkrackenberger, professional
sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian
no smelling upset in college hoops. Use this March matchups

(01:39:12):
underdog boost token at BETMGM to score a bigger payout
if your underdog bet wins minimum plus two hundred odds
or higher. All right, coming up next. If you're a
fan of points, well you're in luck with these two games.
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by BETMGM. It is

(01:39:59):
up at the top of your screen. Okay, Illinois taking
on Kentucky here today. It's in Milwaukee and interesting with
the total. It's ticked down a couple of points, down
to one sixty eight and a half at bet MGM.
So some under money today on that. What do you
think about that you run into the under in this one?

(01:40:20):
Down to one sixty seven. It's fallen even more. It's
down to one sixty seven and a half. Wow, big
live movement.

Speaker 4 (01:40:25):
I don't have much in this game. You know Illinois,
you know they had a strutcher. They just didn't play
good ball because they were hurt, right, and they've come
back and that they've played better basketball. I don't. I
don't really know what to believe in them. And then
I think Kentucky just oh about you guys, Brian. They're
so up and down, man, I they can have a
great game, a bad game, all in the same game.

(01:40:46):
I think, if you're asking for one wager to make here,
I would take just Illinois to win the game. I
trust them a tad more, but nothing crazy. So I
got nothing in this game right now. I think probably
his highest scoring. We know Illinois can score the ball.
We know Kentucky can throw the ball. I probably trust
Illinois a little bit more than that. You Kentucky in

(01:41:07):
this game. How do the Kentucky fans feel the cal
to Arkansas to the Sweet sixteen overachieve? Overachieved is a
razorback coach seemed to underachieve as a Kentucky Wild Yet coach.

Speaker 3 (01:41:20):
Yeah, you know, we talked about Bama and Saint Mary's
being a contrast of two different styles. Well, in this one,
we get two teams that play almost like the same style.
Pol Kentucky and Illinois love to get up and down
the court. And that's why you see this total what
it is. Even though it is dropping a little bit.
This should be a really entertaining game to watch though,
in the matchup of who really can outscore their opponents,

(01:41:42):
So it should be a fun game to watch. Like
I said, looking forward to the games today, sitting back
chilling on a Sunday, watching some games and staying out
of jail.

Speaker 2 (01:41:52):
Yeah, there you go, staying out of jail. It's always
a good move. But you're right, crack. Both Illinois and
Kentucky they played a top twenty five each of them,
so they're gonna be moving. I'm just surprised it's ticked
down as much. You might see a little bit of movement, like, okay,
from last night, it ticks down from one seventy and
a half to one sixty nine and a half. Okay,

(01:42:13):
that that happens. But it's gone from one seventy and
a half to one sixty seven and a half to
three points. So that's a big move. You normally don't
see a move that big. When again, these teams they
get up and down there, they're gonna be moving. I
don't know what the thought is, if it's just, hey,
you can't trust Illinois. They had a rough patch, Okay,

(01:42:33):
I guess, but it's moved a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:42:35):
That's just in the last hour too, So that's that's
a big Uh, it's a big move.

Speaker 4 (01:42:40):
The bartender must be in the under. That's a move
in the markets moving accordingly.

Speaker 3 (01:42:43):
Oh because yeah, has the voice plenty picks out yet?

Speaker 4 (01:42:46):
No, because the voice has been bad for three days
in a row now, so of course the voice is
not going to kind of cower away not give any
wagers instead of just continuing to fire on the warst
sides possible. I mean, look, I'm telling you this is,
this is, this is, this is what you want before
you all you go through that bad stretch about three
weeks with a voice just hit like every wage. You're
imaginable for this period where you know nothing at all

(01:43:10):
is gonna work. You know, it's just knocking. It's just
not gonna work. So I keep waiting the game starting
in thirty minutes the first one does, so I'd be
very upset the voice put out Duke, and that would
that would hurt my feelings a little bit, boy, because
you have to you have to bet the opposite side.

Speaker 3 (01:43:24):
So and for like I always tell people that are
now to listening and something, So the voice is someone
that we like the bet against during football season because
the Voice is a bad better and uh and we've
made money just blindly going against against the Voice. However,
even the Bartender we made money two seasons ago, maybe
even two and three. Last year, the Bartender actually had

(01:43:47):
a winning season.

Speaker 4 (01:43:48):
So yeah, well the Voice, I've said this before, crack.
So I got into the Voice because of college basketball.
The Voice was down seventy units seven units three years,
three seasons ago. Last season we stopped tracking every day
when the Voice is at forty six percent through like
mid February. And this year the Voice has been has

(01:44:11):
been much better, so about fifty percent, which you get
juiced out, you know, which kind of stinks. But we're
making it back now the last couple of days, so
I'm hoping, hoping to see some where Like yesterday the
card the Voice put out like it clearly was gonna
go one in five, like they're just the It was
the worst sides imaginable. You just knew it.

Speaker 3 (01:44:30):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:44:31):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:44:32):
By the way, Uh yeah, how about your ducks in
Arizona here? Yeah, this is tonight in Seattle. It just
feels like it should be the Pac twelve. But it's
a big ten Oregon against Big twelve Arizona.

Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
So yeah, it should be fun game. God, we organed
so inconsistent. Man, I've been bound with Organ fans about
this for weeks now. You know, since January first, Organ
has before the tournament before playing Liberty. They've beaten two
tournament teams since January first. They beat Maryland by four

(01:45:05):
in January second, and they beat Wisconsin in that remarkable
seventeen point fourth quarter. The fourth quarter, second half, comeback right,
they're down seventeen points, like with ten minutes left or
something like that. That's it. Otherwise, we've been blown up
by USLI, blown up by Illinois, lost twice to Michigan
State by ten plus points. They just lost to Michigan.
We've just been losing. And I don't take Liberty even

(01:45:29):
counts as a tournament team. I'm not even to count
them because they're not Power five too power conference team.
I just don't know if I trust our team in
this game. We have there's a joke we have with
Oregan fans where you know, when you're watching a game
and they flash up the graphic that says no field
goals in the last five minutes every game Oregon has
one of those where it's like no field goals in

(01:45:50):
the last four minutes, two points the last seven minutes.
They do this every single game someth against Liberty, and
if you do that against Arizona, you're gonna give up
ten points.

Speaker 2 (01:45:59):
In a row and the game, right well, Arizona just
has so many dudes that can get a bucket. Yes,
you can't have those droughts again.

Speaker 4 (01:46:06):
If they don't get a foul trouble. We are absolute
scrutines and it's really possible to get to Arizona's big men.

Speaker 3 (01:46:11):
Surprising to see an all West Coast game here. You know,
there's not been a champion from the West Coast. It's
like ninety seven when after Arizona made yeah, right man,
that great, right, great run with Simon and Bibby. Let's
let's just hope that Jeff can stay awake for this one.

Speaker 4 (01:46:27):
I was going to the old night. The other night
I had this was Friday night. My son a baseball
practice at seven point thirty. I brought a coffee with
me and my little organ travel mug durate the coffee
a practice I maybe it was practice, was at seven,
got home about nine and then I just got to
bed and we were watching the show. I just watched

(01:46:48):
basketball my iPad to my wife falls asleep. I just
put the TV on basketball, So you know, I'll probably
make it tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:46:54):
You know what's weird though to me is there are
a couple of teams where the regular season success as
is a complete shoulder shrug, but then the tournament rolls around, right,
and you're like, Michigan is a good example. Michigan was, Oh,
they were freaking so bad so many games this season,

(01:47:14):
and now it's tournament time and they're like, yeah, let's
just freaking execute here. Why not? Like Dusty Mains a
really good coach, They've got some good players, and they
just crank it up. Sparty. Sparty has been one of
those teams, especially years ago, where it's like, okay, regular season,
Syracuse regular season, eh, but there's this weird zone defense.

(01:47:35):
It's Beheim. It's tournament time and they here we go, right,
And I get some of those vibes with Oregon and
Dana Altman where they just present problems and that's why
they hang around a little bit more in tournaments.

Speaker 4 (01:47:48):
So, yeah, Michigan thing.

Speaker 5 (01:47:49):
I have.

Speaker 4 (01:47:50):
I have a lot to on my podcast on Tuesday,
I said I would fade Michigan. I have a lot
to make, I have a lot to apologize for when
I do it again Tuesday The Oregon Things, So Dana
has the most wins in March since he since since
he got to the school, which is funny because the
list of teams he's ahead of or have all won championships.
It's a perfect organ stat where like football third most
wins in the last twenty five years, no championships the

(01:48:13):
last the team's won two, three, four, five, six, seven
of all won championships. Orgon no championship. The list of
teams for basketball, it's Oregon, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky Duke like
championship attention, no attention for organ It's just a it's
a perfect organ stat where like it sounds good but
not actually meet anything.

Speaker 3 (01:48:33):
One of my buddies, uh Fez, just sent me a
text about thirty minutes ago. He said, I have three
strong leans Saint Mary's, Oregon downtown. If you're downtown, he said,
one of the casinos has a four. He asked me that,
and the next one, he said is Michigan State, which
is the next game we're going to get into so
three strong leans there from winning sports better. But college

(01:48:54):
is really not his sport too though, But yet, uh,
you know, he's a pro and he gets things from
a lot of people of information. So that's that's Oregon.
But Jeff, you're you're saying you're gonna not You're not
gonna bet the game, You're gonna watch the game. Well, yeah,
in Arizona, I.

Speaker 4 (01:49:10):
Have no No, that's against my rule, Like that's against
I don't. I don't. I've told you this before. I don't.
I don't do that. And I just you know, like
you know the other night when he gave us those
first halfs for the bad day, like liberty is one
of them, I didn't do it out of the same
principles where I where I just I can't wager on

(01:49:30):
organ to only win a half by four points like that,
That to me is like against my my interest. Do
you ever do you ever lay the moneyline favorites that
that that the physic tweets out? Do you ever lay
the nine thousand and by.

Speaker 3 (01:49:45):
The way, ever since he lost the one that he lost,
and and he has had a streak of nothing but
wins on that, but reclaim the money that he lost
on that particular one, but he's you know, he's getting there.
I mean he's probably won twenty of them. So but
by the way, now what so what what what from

(01:50:07):
you guys are talking about? Is so Physik put put
out there that to lay like any teams that are
twenty three points or more, which I believe that's that
was produced twenty three. So he laid the teams that
were minus twenty nine minus thirty two. This week he's
three and oh or four and oh, first days of
the tournament here laying the money line. But you're laying

(01:50:28):
twenty eight thousand to win three hundred bucks. My thing
is to me, I don't want to come off wrong here,
but the three hundred dollars is no big deal. You
know it's a meal, correct, But the twenty eight thousand,
no to me, I'm saying to me, three hundred bucks.
But the twenty eight thousands that would mean, yeah, that
would But.

Speaker 4 (01:50:47):
Would it be a better way, like quickly, would it
be a better wager to take the three hundred dollars,
split it into thirds and put that on like dogs
to just win out right?

Speaker 2 (01:50:58):
Like I guess, far less risk, right, like.

Speaker 4 (01:51:00):
The upside to that feels like so much better than
winning three hundred dollars on table.

Speaker 3 (01:51:04):
I'm actually gonna read his text to me when he
said to me, because to be honest.

Speaker 2 (01:51:08):
We'll do it next.

Speaker 3 (01:51:08):
We'll do it next.

Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
Cratch, We'll do it next. All right, we'll do it
next because we have to you gas bags, we have
to get to our whole to meat main attraction over here,
from one gas bag to another.

Speaker 3 (01:51:23):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:51:24):
It's not me, it's you guys. Yeah, I'm very concise
over here. Yeah, what do you have for us?

Speaker 3 (01:51:30):
Side?

Speaker 6 (01:51:31):
Were that moniker with honor? We are only thirty one
minutes away from tipping off today's Round two NCAA Tournament
action one seed Florid against eight seed Yukon. Meanwhile, on
Saturday night, six seed Byu advanced to the Sweet sixteen
for the first time in fourteen years with a ninety
one eighty nine win over three seed Wisconsin, one seed

(01:51:51):
Houston over eight seed Gonzaga eighty one seventy six, breaking
Gonzaga streak of nine consecutive Sweet sixteens. Two seed Tennessee
eliminating I haven't seen UCLA sixty seven to fifty eight.
NBA Saturday night, the Chicago Bulls beat the Lakers in
LA one forty six to one fifteen.

Speaker 2 (01:52:08):
Lebron James, whoa wait, wait was that score again? I
love just for the people in the back right, there
were one forty six one forty six. The Lakers gave
up one hundred. That has to be the most point
they've given up all season? Is it not?

Speaker 6 (01:52:22):
As in they would have if they would have scored
forty six fewer points, they still would have scored one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:52:28):
We'll put it that way.

Speaker 6 (01:52:29):
Lebron James seventeen points in thirty one minutes in his
returned after missing six with the left groin strain. The story, however,
Josh Gidde of Chicago came within two steals of a
quadruple double fifteen points, ten rebounds, seventeen assists and eight steals,
and the reaction not just limited to our very own

(01:52:49):
Brian no Lakers fan at sir underscore Slayer underscore was
not amused, posting quote serious one hundred and forty six
points allowed? Also, who the bleep is Josh Giddy? Then
you have then you add at I stay winning seven

(01:53:11):
one one comment and quote when the Lakers brought Bronnie in.
The Bulls should have put Giddy back in. He would
have gotten those last two steals playing versus Bronny unquote
sack or Bronni catching astray.

Speaker 3 (01:53:26):
There.

Speaker 2 (01:53:26):
Back to you, guys, appreciate that. I lo it is
Fox Sports Radios Countdowns presented by bet MGM. Tractor Supply

can do attitude. Thankfully, when you have a neighbor like

(01:53:51):
bring on the thunder huh in the playoffs. Allow one
hundred and forty six to the Bulls. Yeah, that's gonna
work out great, just great for the Purple.

Speaker 4 (01:53:59):
And no we're not. It's not an NBA show, Brian,
there's another you know, you can talk about a different show.

Speaker 2 (01:54:06):
Talk trash about them a couple of weeks from now.

Speaker 3 (01:54:09):
I want to finish it. I want to finish up
with this. Here's the reason why.

Speaker 5 (01:54:13):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:54:13):
Fessicka is an actuary, very highly intellectual guy lays over
many people. So he said to me, Alabama money line
minus twenty five to one, Duke minus seventy one, Florida
money line, these are all going to be really good.
Alabama ninety eight point five percent chance to win, Duke
ninety nine point seven, Florida ninety nine point five. If

(01:54:37):
his numbers are right on percentages, they actually are good bets.
You follow what I'm saying. So, but again, I can't
bring myself to losing thirty grand to win three hundred
bucks when I'm spending fander and on dinner, and thirty
thousand will be lots of dinners, you know. But I
know he's right. He's right, and maybe maybe you could,

(01:55:00):
you know, you know. And by the way, people love
to root against them. Oh my god, they can't wait,
they love and no one mentions anything when he wins.

Speaker 2 (01:55:08):
So yeah, it is welcome to life as a professional
sports better right, putting bets out there, That's how it goes,
no doubt. All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran slash laker Homer, I'm Brian,

do it.

Speaker 4 (01:56:58):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
All right, crack, we start with you. What's something you like?

Speaker 3 (01:57:04):
Let's go. Let me give you, guys. A current MGM
line on caln Irvine, A very rare favorite for the
K man here Calervine minus eight now oh seven, MGM
seven and a half. Lots of eight's out there in Vegas.
Calraville minus seven and a half at MGM over at
Jacksonville State.

Speaker 5 (01:57:23):
In the n T.

Speaker 3 (01:57:24):
That game is six pm, Vegas time. There you go, Callravine.

Speaker 4 (01:57:28):
I think you're five and one n I T so far.
Think it's been really good, so you know there's money
to be made there. I like Duke Minas twelve and
a half. I'm just gonna do it. Duke minus twelve
and a half. I like Saint Mary's, I might poacher
girl on South Carolina minus twenty two and a half
against Indiana and women's college basketball now instead of waiting

(01:57:51):
for a better line in game, I think at numbers
just talking, I was gonna suffocate Indiana at these games.
I'm telling you, man, they're just do you see what
he's a playing an eight C Richmond. They're only sixteen
a half point favorites. If you just can't compete, it's hard.
So those those am eyeing at least maybe a live wagers.
But those two right now, Duke and Saint Mary's.

Speaker 2 (01:58:12):
Super random nugget for you, Jeff, I'm filling in for
it in Indianapolis show tomorrow, so I'll have an eye
on that. I you side, I just don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:58:22):
I ask him these games, man, like these it's these
super teams. South Carolina can be yukon UCLA USC doesn't
cover a lot because they really have one scorer. It's
hard for them. These the teams to keep up. In
the end, these games either are closed for a while
and then the bigger talented team. You see what I have,
like two giant girls who played like huge, which one

(01:58:43):
doesn't have the people that to guard UCLA women inside.

Speaker 2 (01:58:48):
No, no doubt, no doubt about it. Absolutely all right,
I'll go with give me a team total here today
I'm on Florida. Give me over eighty and a half
against yukon Their defense sucks, lord of offense really good.
They can score in multiple ways. I think they put
it on the Huskies today, at least to the tune
of scoring eighty one points. I think they're scoring them today.

(01:59:08):
So I'll I'll go with that one. We got Cracks
play of the day. Let's dive into this.

Speaker 1 (01:59:15):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:59:19):
All right, Crack, what do you have for it?

Speaker 3 (01:59:20):
Because I'm actually gonna make Calorvine the best play and
I'll reverse it. You're not gonna believe this one. I'm
gonna go with Jeff's Oregon team, even though I know
he says a little questionable about it. I actually like
Oregon with thee even the three and a half. Bet
MGM hash. Let's go with Oregon for that play, and
let's go with like I said, Calorvine best player of
the day. Listen, you control bank roll management, especially as

(01:59:44):
a torment gets deeper and deeper. Don't go crazy over betting.
Just because it's a weekend, you want to go crazy
on games. Uh, it's all about long term guys.

Speaker 2 (01:59:54):
Very nice. Love that. By the way, which game are
you most looking forward here today at the nightcap?

Speaker 3 (02:00:01):
I'll tell you right now. I actually can't wait for
this game in fifteen minutes Florida, can I Yeah, looking
forward to start out right away watching that game and
the Duke Baylor game. I'm looking forward to all these
big games today, even tonight the Arizona game, Arizona, Oregon
nighttime perfect game. Should be a fun day in Illinois, Kentucky.
