Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Really Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Eleven and Rain once again here on a fully loaded
Sports Saturday. This is Fox Sports Saturday and we're broadcasting
live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Olden. We're back
at it again today. Well, we got a lot to
talk about. We got a Game seven coming up later
on today, Clippers on the road against the Nuggets. Tomorrow

(00:25):
it will be the Golden State Warriors. Two opportunities to
take care of the Rockets, and now they're facing a
Game seven in Houston. We got all kinds of NFL news.
We're going to get to still post draft. Adam Kaplan
is going to be joining us coming up here in
about twenty minutes. We'll have Mark Mendin our NBA Insider
coming up a little bit later on in the show.

(00:48):
We got to start with the Lakers situation right now.
There are different layers to this, Olden and one of
the things I've been talking about a lot is the
fact that and I've been saying this for about a
month or so, that this is Lebron James's last year
as a Laker. And if you've been listening to Lebron

(01:10):
since that final game, he's dropping hints all over the place.
So everyone says, well, he's not going to walk away
from fifty two million dollars, which is his player option
for next year. And I remind people, this guy's a billionaire. Yeah,
he's a billionaire. The one thing Lebron knows you can't

(01:32):
buy is a championship.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
So if you're Lebron James, please it Well.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I mean, we've had a revolving door of champions over
in recent years. Here olden, but here's the thing. I mean,
at this point of his career. In fact, right after
they lost that game five, and we'll get into that
whole series, why Minnesota moves on and the Lakers aren't.
Somebody asked him, was just like one of them out
of nowhere. Instead of talking about the game and what happened,
everything goes, hey, what the opportunity to play with Browny

(02:01):
this year? Where does that rate for you in your
basketball achievements? And he said it trumps anything I've done
in basketball, any championship and a record, anything I've done.
The number one thing I was able to do that's
tops my list is playing with Browny. So you would say, okay, well,
that means he wants to stay with Brouny. I'm like, no, no, no,

(02:21):
you're not hearing him. He did that. Ye done, son,
You're on your own.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I gave you an opportunity, go with it, and that's
a good father.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I think I just honestly believe that Lebron is going
to opt out. He's going to be a free agent.
He's going to look at his opportunities. I don't know,
what do you think back to Cleveland's pretty good basketball team.
He doesn't have to be the guy, but he could
be a guy on a team that could well win
a championship. So what are your thoughts about where I

(02:51):
stand right now that Lebron James has played his last
game as a Los Angeles Laker.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Well, the best way for me to say say it
is this. We've seen this movie before. Whenever the Lakers
lose or whenever Lebron gets knocked out, there's always this
moment in this press conference where he has everybody guessing
on what he's gonna do, you know, instead of just

(03:19):
staying in the moment, you know, And I get it,
you know, because he has to stay in the news.
It's his thing. And so to me, that's how I'm
looking at until this man officially announces he's either retiring,
all he wants to trade all he's actually has signed

(03:40):
and been traded. I'm not believing anything he's saying. I'm
not even listening to anything he's saying at all. Like
you said, he did all the things he wanted to do.
He's won championships, he's got this scoring title from Koreem,
he's got most this most that, he's got every damn record.
Most likely right now he's probably he's on wilts but back.

(04:03):
But it doesn't mean anything because why is he My
question to you, Steve, is why is he still play well?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
He has to have a reason. A year ago, the
reason was the opportunity to play with his son. I
mean that, and he just said it there. He just
said that was the highlight of his NBA career twenty
two years in the NBA, was the idea that he
was able to actually be a teammate of his son.
All right, Well, he checked that box. He got past
forty thousand career points. I mean he's checked every box.

(04:35):
You've won four NBA championships, you were an NBA Finals
MVP with three different franchises, so you've done everything so
what is going to motivate him to actually continue to play.
He may decide I did it, I'm done, I'm finished,
I'm over. All right, Let's go back from the Clippers.
Let's go back to the Lakers though. All right, So

(04:56):
you're sitting down with Rob Polenka and and you're trying
to map out a strategy to let's let's make this clear,
make Luca happy, because the one thing they don't have
yet is a long term commitment from Luka Doncic. So

(05:19):
you have to be full scale sit down with Luca.
I mean, you already had your coach make a crack
about his conditioning without mentioning by name, but it was
pretty clear who he was talking about. That was okay,
so you know, yeah, and you didn't mention him, but
we all know who's talking about. All right, So you
have to sit down with Luca because I'm sure Luca's

(05:40):
sitting in there saying, all right, I'm a Laker. Okay,
that's cool. The fans have been great to me. I
love all that, but I want to win a championship.
So what is your game plan? If Lebron returns at
fifty two million dollars next year? You are limited in
fun that you can use to get a big man

(06:03):
of substance that could be a change for this team.
And they need multiple bigs, which was in full evidence
as the Timberwelves just rained down on them of their
big guys. So what is best for the Lakers moving
forward with Luca when it comes to the decision that
Lebron has to make about his future.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Well, that's the best way to put this. I said
it when the trade happened. You can't have two ball
dominant guys that are damning identical. You just can't do it,
you know. And the funny thing about it, right now,
Luca's the only guy at the moment that could catch

(06:45):
Lebron's scoring title. Yeah, at the moment. So with that
being said, you're gonna have to address Luca because that's
the future you gave up Ad and some other pieces,
you know, Christy, and so you have to address that.
But at the same time, you had the opportunity to
get somebody Mark Williams, and you rescinded.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
The trade failed the physical.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
I don't care if he fails a physical. You know
how mean people failed, but they get passed. So that
was a that was a bad decision, And so to me,
they're gonna have to go get a big guy that's
athletic that can catch lobs. They're gonna have to go
get Lively, somebody out of Dallas or somebody that's coming up.
But you need that type of player because that's what

(07:31):
Luca wants. They don't need a big that's looking for
the ball. They need a big that can catch lobs
and defending block shots. But at the end of the day,
that fifty two million is that thing, that's that elephant
in the room. And you still have to address Luca's contract. Yes,
so well, I get are you.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Here's something else Lebron said this week after the final
loss in the playoffs. He said, when asked about Luca's
future with the Lakers, Lebron's response is he's twenty six.
I'm forty. He can't be thinking about his future with
the Lakers when it comes to me because our careers

(08:13):
at a very different level right now. So he can't
be thinking about what is Lebron going to do in
terms of my future with the Lakers. He has to
make the best decision for himself. This is another way
for Lebron, saying look I did, Mike. You know, when
he came to LA. I remember doing a scathing commentary
on Lebron James and I said this, if you don't

(08:35):
win a championship f.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
F and I use this.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
You know, there was an exaggerated grade scale that the
late great Kobe Bryant used to tell me about. His
grading of Lakers seasons was very simple. Arf A wins
the championship if you don't, I mean, it was it.
I mean, what about if you get to the NBA Finals,
do we win?

Speaker 5 (08:57):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
F That's it.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
To the Lakers station in LA, and they were talking
about grading JJ Reddick season and then one guy's like, yeah,
well I would have given him an A.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
But after the playoffs A minus, I go a.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Minus f F. I mean, he mangled the postseason like
few coaches I've ever seen. The only thing that matters
on a coach's resume is how you handle the money games,
the big games. That separates the Popoviches and the Rileys

(09:38):
and those guys that understand how to navigate the postseason
from the rest of the pack. Granted was his rookie
year as a coach, but he could not have failed
more miserably in terms of his impact on those games
than what he did.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Oh definitely. Now I'm going to tell you this, This
is why the great players are great and everybody else
you know, you might get lucky and get one. And
the reason I'm bringing this up is to make a
point about somebody else, about Giannis Kobe, MJ. Pat Riley,
Phil Jackson. It doesn't matter Red all back. I can
go on in our wilt a f What's those are

(10:19):
the two grades that great players have? Then all of
a sudden you have these the new generations of well,
it's a process and it's this and oh is it
a failure because we didn't win? No, dude, either when
or you don't. It's either an a or in f right,

(10:41):
that's it. Why else are you playing? And so to me,
that's what they got to understand. And you're right, front
office have their job cut out, you know, the coaches
have their jobs cut out. One reason why I like Tyler,
and I don't know if we're gonna talk about this late,
but the one reason I like him. He's four, I know,

(11:01):
in close games. Yeah, whereas his predecessor kind of what
Doc Rivers is the king of three and once three times,
three times?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
You know, did you hear Doc Rivers? One time was
asked about the fact that he's blown three to one
serious leads, very rare that it ever happens as a coach.
He did it three times. His answer was what bothers
me is, I don't get credit for the three wins.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I'm like, what are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (11:33):
How do you still have a job? What did he
do with miwak? I just don't beelieve about it, you
know how, because you like, if you've been around Doc Rivers,
he've been a memory of media. He sweethearts the media.
He is so adept at making you like him that
you will ignore him. The fact was when he went
to the Clippers, they were no better than they were
with Vinnie Del Negro as their coach. Fact, they were

(11:55):
a fifty five win team. Then all right, well, much
more in the NBA playoffs, including a whole breakdown of
the game coming up Game seven between the Nuggets and
the Clippers. But on the other side, we're gonna get
a week to digest what just happened in the NFL
draft and what's gonna happen to Aaron Rodgers. What's gonna
happen to the Steelers. Are they good with Will Howard

(12:17):
as their quarterback of the future. We're gonna break it
down with our insider Adam Kaplan. This is Fox Sports Saturday.

the NFL Draft is now long in our rear view mirror,
but it doesn't mean we don't have constant NFL news,
which is why, once again joining us, as gracious as
he is week after week after week, our great NFL
insider Adam Kaplan is joining us right now. Adam, I

(13:23):
guess I want to put to rest the Shador Sanders
story because The bottom line is he is in the NFL.
He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns, and he's going
to get a real opportunity to prove that he is
the quarterback that he thinks he is. Many people thought
he was going into the draft. He's going to have
that opportunity. But the fallout, obviously, we have the Falcons

(13:46):
defensive coordinator one hundred thousand dollars fine, he says he
won't challenge the fine, and what happened with the sun
and then we find out that apparently crank calls are
part of every day we hear all these guys are
getting crank calls all the time. But the overall fallout
of the Shador Sanders story, how is that being received

(14:07):
around the entire NFL?

Speaker 5 (14:09):
God, it's good to be with you. So really, what
has happened here is this.

Speaker 6 (14:13):
Is what happens when we talk about your door standers
and his drop which was certainly much farther than I
expected to the fifth round. I certainly like it's the
early third, but to the fifth sometimes it's more than
what the The all twenty two of the Coachy tape shows,
because that's the majority of the great is what the
tape looks like it's the other stuff, particularly how you

(14:35):
hand yourself and interviews, what's surrounding you, what kind of
baggage you have?

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Now?

Speaker 6 (14:40):
He never got in trouble off the field, nothing like that.
It's what who are they getting? What happened leading up
to the draft, and that stuff matters, Steve, I mean,
this was an issue where as I understand it, it's
I kind of I heard stuff and I know there
was stuff out there was he sabatine and sabotages draft.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
Status, didn't want to be with this team or that team.

Speaker 6 (15:02):
Well, here's really what it was is he just came
in and prepared a lot of these interviews. I I
just I just can't believe it. I know, old and
I talk last week here on FSR, probably maybe last Sunday,
But Steve, I could tell you that that's that stuff
is real. I that's the stuff that I got from clubs.
Particularly one coach was in one of those interviews. He
should order simply was not prepared. And I know I

(15:23):
can't doubt soone it was who lived it. But Steve,
it shows you it's more than football sometimes than people
really know.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Hey, Adam, I gotta ask this. Okay, you just said that,
you know, because of his interview, So you're telling me
that Charlotte Sanders is the first NFL prospect to have
a bad interview to all the way to the series.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
Of him, and he acted disinterested and like he didn't care.
Like that's the I see, Olden. This is the thing
I don't understand some of the Hall of Fame player
and a very successful college coach, a series guy like
Deon Sanders. Okay, how does this happen? I can't answer
that question. I just have that question. Only he can
answer it. Why did so many teams who went through

(16:13):
an interview process with him, whether it's at the combine
or pre draft, when he came into their building? Why
was he so unprepared? Why did he act like he
didn't care? That only he can answer now as we
move forward here, the strange thing is, and Steve kind
of alluded to this, he went to a team where
they don't know who the future quarterback is. That's the

(16:35):
funny thing about it. Like it was a really odd
This is the year twenty seven, you know, for me
covering the National Football League. Guy, Look, i'll give you
an example, old and I'll tell you. I'll give you
a really good information here. In twenty thirteen, Beagle's going
to draft Geno Smith. This was Chip Kelly's handpit quarterback.
This is the guy that he wanted. The front office owner,

(16:58):
Jeffrey Lori fly to West Virginia. They talked to him
before the pro day. He had a bad interview. He
was he wasn't paying attention, and they were turned off.
They decided they won't going to draft the guy. That matters.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
Man, I mean, this is the pre step draft stuff
matters a little bit more than we probably imagine.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Un Aliebel, you mentioned Geno A quick story. So I
was in New Orleans for the Super Bowl that year,
leaning up to that draft, and I get a notification
that Geno Smith I can do an interview with Gino Smith,
like a taped interview, right. So I sit down with
Geno Smith and I'm looking at him and said, so,
what are you hearing right now going into the draft.
He gives me this blank look and I'm like, so

(17:36):
what have you heard? He goes, you don't know that
I'm the first pick in the draft. I mean I
thought he was joking. Then I realized He's dead serious,
Like he's looking at me, like, are you the only
person on the planet that doesn't know that I'm going
to be the first overall pick in the draft. Obviously
not even a first round pig.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
EJ.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Manual was the only quarterback taking in that first round.
All right, let's move on to the Steelers real quick.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
One thing, just a bunch of gino.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
And what's amazing is you want to talk about a
guy who's a baller and a leader. Now we all
have to grow up sometime, and I the one more
thing on your door. He's like, I was talking to
my friend Greg O's self of the NFL film.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
So a lot of people know out there.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Greg doesn't do round grades, but he and I exchange
information before and after the drift.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
I said, so, what do you think?

Speaker 6 (18:23):
He goes, Oh, he goes, look, if I'm with the team,
he's a second round player. And Greg Greg was critical.
He said, there's no way he's buy tape. He's his
first round pick. That just shows you. So in the
greats Tape for a Living says it what happened. His
slide had very little to deal with what the tape
looked like.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
Go ahead, all right.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
So are we now set that Will Howard is the
quarterback of the Pittsburgh steel Okay, so it's Will Howard
Mason Rudolph the battle between the two right now?

Speaker 4 (18:50):
All right?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
So where are we with the Steelers in terms of
Aaron Rodgers or a deal to get Kirk Cousins. What
is the Steelers plan for?

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Yeah, they're they're they're their option, they're Plan B. They're
Plan B free agency. So to pig their Plan B
is is Kirk Cousins. Potentially Now they won't take the
contract as is if Rogers shuts him out, and that's
that's where this is going to go. Now, you mentioned
Will Howard, Okay, Will Howard was pretty much a third

(19:22):
year quarterback.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
Come Ohio state.

Speaker 6 (19:26):
This again, Steve, You and I have talked about this
for a number of weeks, probably months. This is not
a really good quarterback draft. Some some teams had I
took the one team at a fourth round, great on them,
but they did see him as a starter.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
So yeah, right now, they just don't have this figured
out here.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
They they have, they have a list, it's not a
great list, and Kirk Cousins is an older quarterback. Now
you're talking about over two years now, removed from a
torn achilles. So the hope is that he gets back
to where he was. But it's just that they look
they got kind of taken to the Cleanerson situation. Even
if Rogers goes there. Folks, you're talking about a guy

(20:01):
turns forty two in December. Let's be honest here, and
when Steve, you and I talked about it for several
months about what he looked like save that one great
game against the Jets, he either looked like himself.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
No, and he hasn't looked like himself since twenty twenty one.
I mean, you know, I mean went back to back
MVP Awards in twenty and twenty one. He hasn't been
that guy since twenty twenty one.

Speaker 6 (20:23):
Yeah, and this is just the Steelers. You could blame them.
I mean, this is on them if it blows up
on him. And the thing is talking to them like
they feel really they feel like the roster they put
together is the best they've had in years.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
But it won't matter if you don't have a competent quarterback.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Hey, Adam, let's stay on there for a minute.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Now you know we watched Brady extend his career. We've
watched a bunch of guys extend their careers. But at
the same time, you know, when I see Aaron Rodgers,
I'm thinking, okay, you know you'll long remove from your
MVP season. Why is it about these guys? I don't
know if you can even answer this question, but especially

(21:04):
like a guy like Aaron Rodgers who thinks he can
still walk around and act like you know, he's that
Aaron Rodgers, you know, as opposed to just you know,
humbling himself and saying, hey, I want to just you know,
come in and do my thing. But it just baffles
me that he's holding people up. But you're not that

(21:25):
guy anymore.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
It's embarrassing in it shouldn't be happening old you as
a form NBA player, and I followed your career pretty closely.
Isn't there a time when your body tells you listen,
I can't do this anymore.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Yeah, I wasn't on steroids, so yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Right, okay, thank you for sharing that.

Speaker 6 (21:43):
Yeah, so there's a time warners talk about rich Gannon.
I remember asking rich Gannon rich if he did not
suffer severe neck injury wanted to play into his forties.
You talked about Olden Tom Brady. Your body tells you.
Players have always told me thisir body tells me when
they can't do it anymore. John Elway remember him talking
to it with his bad knees. If you look at sports,

(22:03):
I remember Mike Schmid the Hall of Fame third Basement
for the Phillies.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
His niece told him he can't play anymore.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
Now, if you want to just kind of look at
going forward, other athletes here in the NFL. One can
make the case that Travis Kelcey should have retired. He
did not look like himself. Okay, under ten yards per catch.
He just didn't play well, So you would think that.
But the problem is on your question, and these guys
are so competitive they don't want to go out like

(22:29):
that exactly. That's part of it that that's a major
part of it, because I know you did. And a
couple other hosts asked me about Travis Kelcey at the
end of Super Bowl said everything I've heard says he's
not going to retire now. He did on his show.
He sort of like went back and forth. He don't
want to go out that way. But the sad thing is,
what if it looks the same. You're not going to
play another year, but that they can't walk away Olden.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
It's a great subject.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
I wish we had more time to talk about it,
but this is it's sad when the game retires the player,
and that's unfortunately what's going to happen with a lot
of it.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Yeah, father time catches, but you know those peds they
can extend the body does a little bit longer if
you want to go down that path. All right, great
stuff as always, Adam. A little rest bit right now,
you know, I.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Hope so soon.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
But other than playing massive amount of tennis, guys, Yes,
I'm watching our guy old and I have a friend
of mine, a front of ours who works for the
Nuggets who's doing pretty well. So in the front office
that we're we have been keeping a watch of eye
in the nuts.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
All right, Well, we got a big game seven. We're
going to be getting into a little bit later on. Adam,
great stuff is always, Thanks so much. We'll talk to
you next week. That is Adam Kaplan, our NFL insider,
giving us the latest. Yeah, I just the whole Aaron
Rodgers thing to me is sad. I mean, come on,
it's over. You've had a Hall of Fame career, you
won a super Bowl. It's a long time ago. And

(23:51):
you know, he really wanted to go to the Vikings.
He was trying to convince the Vikings says that is
a super Bowl ready team, and the Vikings were like,
thank for the call, Air, but really we're okay, we're
gonna go with the kid JJ McCarthy. We're gonna move
forward on that. Oh all right, let's find out what
is trending right now. The man, of course, has been
doing shows. He's been doing everything as he usually does.

(24:13):
That's what he is, that's what he is.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
Appreciate that, Steve.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
How we're doing great.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
We're having a good time, but excited about this Game
seven coming up between the Nuggets and the Clippers.

Speaker 8 (24:23):
Man, Steve, you don't have like a legendary Kentucky Derby story.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I wish I did. We had Ricky walk in saying
have you ever been to the Derby? And I said no.
I mean there's there's a very few like major sporting events.
I've not gone to. Number one for me still would
be the Masters. I think that's the national, but the
Derby's in the top three. That I've never actually covered.

Speaker 8 (24:44):
Before, so that's fascinating.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
What's amazing about this is they have like a seven
hour pre show for a two minute rates right. It's
like like, you know, they're doing constant interviews showing all
the celebrities all dulled up, the big hats, everything else,
and it's like, when is this race actually going to start?

Speaker 8 (25:04):
It looks like the post time six fifty seven eastern.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Okay, well that's coming up now it's raining still there?
Or what's going on with the weather.

Speaker 8 (25:12):
It seems to be still a little drizzy. It is
a high fifty nine. It's been a really terrible weather
really all across America today. One norm road on the
Kentucky w though one hundred and fifty. First time it's happened.
All nineteen of the horses in this year's field are
descendants of Secretariat No.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
All nineteen and apparently the two scratches were also descendants
of By the way, did you hear this number? Secretariat
in fifteen years as a stud sired six hundred and
sixty three folds in fifteen years. Wow, six sixty three?

Speaker 4 (25:57):
Get it in?

Speaker 2 (25:58):
I mean Secretariat? Can you imagine Father's Day?

Speaker 4 (26:01):
I mean, wow?

Speaker 2 (26:02):
I mean you are scoring big. But yeah, in fifteen
years as a stallion, he sired six hundred and sixty
three foals, of which three hundred and forty one ended
up winners. Uh so that's a fifty one percent rate.
So this guy, this guy Secretary, not only was the
super horse of all time on the track but off

(26:27):
the track. Pretty amazing.

Speaker 8 (26:28):
There you have it, I said earlier today, bad weather.
It's impacted a few baseball games. Mets, Cardinals delay till tomorrow.
Pirates and the Padres are right now in the bottom
of the third inning. They were in a lengthy rain
delay there. The Twins have a four to one lead
over the Red Sox in Boston on FS one, but
that's in the rain delay. On the top of the
seventh inning, Nationals and Reds also you guessed it not

(26:52):
playing their scoreless top of the first. Middle of the
second inning, the Diamondbacks and the Phillies scoreless. The A's
lead to marrowl in six to four in the top
of the ninth. Earlier today, we saw Jake Myers have
a day two home runs, four extra base hits, seven RBI.
It was four for four thirteen total bases Astros record
as the Astros make quick work with the White Sox

(27:12):
eight to three, Guardians with they come from behind, went
over the Blue Jays five to three, and the Rays
also had to come from behind, went over the Yankees
three to two.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Back to you guys, all right, Thank you very much, Martin,
appreciate it. As always, once again, we're coming alive from

Speaker 3 (27:52):
So Secretariot arguably the greatest.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Thoroughbed racehorse of all time, I mean, still holds the
record at the Kentucky Derby, and don't get me started
on the Belmont that year when he won by thirty
thirty one lengths and set a record time wise that
will never be topped. I mean this was the super
horse of all time. But yeah, every single horse in

(28:19):
this Kentucky Derby is a descendant of Secretariat. So so
fifteen years as a stallion, six hundred and sixty three folds.
That's getting to work.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Now.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Secretary did not have a long life. Most of these
great horses can live into their thirties. Secretary pass away
at the age of nineteen. They found out upon his
death that he had an enlarged heart, like a giant,
like he had a bigger engine.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
So well, okay, well, you know, by.

Speaker 9 (28:55):
The way, you would think that sixty three foles in
fifteen years is but they actually say that his breeding
record is not great.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
By the way, at its peak his stud feet was
six million dollars and that was back in nineteen eighty.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
Nine, so it's six million per right, Yeah wow, so
six million.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
So he's Big Red as he was known. Yeah, Big
Red had to get to work.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
I forgot the movie that they made. I forgot the
title of that movie. But it was a great movie,
you know.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Yeah, well, yeah, I tell you what I mean that
is that is that is incredible, right, every single horse
it comes from his.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
Uh nineteen of them and here come to jockeys.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yeah, this is the problem with the Derby in trying
to pick a winner, because you always, I mean normally
we will have a full twenty horses. I guess we're
down to nineteen this year. Well, when you have this
crowd of field, this is why so few favorites win
the Derby over the years, because you got to break
out of the gate fast. You know, it's not a

(30:04):
long race and two minutes and that's why we see
so many upsets. So usually if you're betting on the Derby,
the best play is that second tier of horses. That's
what you're looking at if you want a decent payday
and win on the Derby.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
So is this something that you've had an interest in
at all?

Speaker 2 (30:24):
The Derby?

Speaker 4 (30:25):
I love watching it. I watch them all, you know,
you know, it's always interested to see the chase for
the triple Crown. But at the same time, I'm not
a betting person on horses. I've made one bet in
my life and I won that and I never bet
it again. I just and the funny thing about it,
I only bet the horse because I liked the name.

(30:49):
That's it. That was the only reason I put the
money down on this horse. But at the same time,
you know, it's amazing because I believe, like horses are
incredible creatures and so to me seeing that you mentioned
about the hut. Now we've had horses whose hearts blow
up doing races, and so they're in amazing animals and

(31:11):
it's great to see. But at the same time, I'm
not big on horse racing because in some ways I
still believe it's a little bit cruel. But it is
what it is, and that's what we are. But I'll
tell you this. The Kentucky Derby, like you mentioned two minutes,
but it's people go to bet and to party. Yeah,
that's it. There's nothing else. We don't care about anything else.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
They have the red carpet. I mean, it's just like
a who's who of the entertainment world, whether you're an
athlete or a movie star or whatever. It is absolutely
one more to be seen. Yeah, here's a couple of
notes about the Kentucky Derby that you may not know. Now,
we all know all the horses are three years old.
We know that the race is a mile and a quarter.
But here's an interesting note. You may not know every

(31:56):
not a single horse in the field has ever raced
that distance in their careers. So for all nineteen of
these horses, this is the first time they ever have
raced a mile and a quarter.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
So that along with the huge field that you always
have at the Derby up to twenty horses again just
nineteen this year. With lake scratches, it makes it very unpredictable.
And now you've got the weather situation and it's a
wet track, so it only makes it even more.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
The mutters they got the shot right now, whoever's a mutter?

Speaker 2 (32:29):
I mean just remember what was it just a couple
of years ago, Rich Strike was a last minute addition,
went off at eighty to one, paid one hundred and
sixty three dollars and sixty cents on a two dollars bet.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
I mean, that's that's where I'm going right now.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
But you know what the thing, I don't know if
you've talked about anyone's talked about it. You know there
was some breaking news right within the Derby.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Bob Baffer's back, yes he is.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
He served that three year suspension and by the way,
everything under the sun.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
So if I'm looking right now, Bafford's horse is so
he has won six derbies, and so I'm picking his horse,
Citizen Bull right now. I think the odds are at
twelve to one right now in Citizen Bull, but I'm
going with Citizen Bull, trained by the Great Bob Afford.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
I don't think he gets a win out of suspension.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Why do you say, I don't.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Think so, because he's he had to be on the
up and up on everything. So it's kind of good
to see him though back I love that white hair,
so it's good to see him back over there. I'm cheating.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
I mean when when you're on top and you're expected
to stay on top. Especially we just talked about how
much you talk about the sport of kings, which they
talk about horse racing. I known very people that have
money but adventures into horse racing. Think I have enough
money to be in this business.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
You don't.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
I'm telling you right now you have to have, I
mean serious money, because you could have You could invest
in a great horse and then the horse breaks down.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Yeah, and it's not like you could trade them.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
It's gone.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Well.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
I saw Jason Worth is an owner. Yeah, so that's
kind of cool. Yeah, you know, the bills come in
isn't that Phillies money.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
It is staggering how much it costs to be in
this industry. All right, coming up on the other side,
we're gonna get back into the NBA. We got a
Game seven coming up between the Clippers and the Nuggets.
How do we get here? And will home court be
the difference in this Game seven? We're gonna break it down.

(34:47):
This is Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 10 (34:53):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio Steve Hartman and
Olden Polonies f Sports Saturday.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
We're coming in live from the During the break, we
were just talking about the jockeys and you remember the
movie Seabiscuit. It was a huge hit back in two
thousand and four, and I was at the Super Bowl
in Houston and Gary Stevens, the Hall of Fame jockey

(35:21):
who was part of the movie, was coming around radio
road to do.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Interviews about the movie.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
It was a huge Sea Biscuit and Michael Thompson, my partner,
yes the NBA.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Michael Thompson was not in Houston. He was on the
road with the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
So he's on the show, but he's not physically sitting
next to me and Gary Stevens. So I come on
with Gary Stevens and I said, you know, pound for pound,
jockeys are some of the greatest athletes on the planet.
I mean, you were having to control this giant animal

(35:59):
and you have to maintain weight. I mean, you are
an incredible athlete. And I'm sitting there with Gary Stevens
and Michael Thompson says, athlete, You're not an athlete. You're
riding a horse. And the look on Gary Stevens's face
like who is this on the other end? And I'm like, gee, thanks, Michael.

(36:20):
I was so livid at Michael Thompson to this days,
like I have. I was right, They're not They're not athletes,
They're just riding a horse.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
I'm like, come on, man, wow.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
That would be like saying race car drivers there's no athleticism,
and being a race car driver there is. You have
to have reaction time. And by the way, jockeys have
had serious injuries. There have been even deaths from jockeys
on these horses. So I I you know, the horse
ultimately is doing the majority of the work, but to

(36:54):
downplay the role of the jockey is idiotic.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
That was so disrespectful. I mean, Michael should have known better,
because that's like saying, Oh, all you're doing is don't
a ball into a hoop? Come on, now, that's whack
as hell, because the thing about it is you have
to be some of the strongest people. There's two jobs
right now, or two professions, jockeys and race car drivers
where your hands and arms forearms and hand eye coordinations.

(37:24):
Come on, man, that's that's ridiculous. That's so disrespectful.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Well, and you have to control the horse.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
You have to control when do I hold back?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
When do I, you know, turn on the after burners.
I have to control this horse to get it to
do what we need to do to win this race.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
That's whack.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
So right now, the horses are on the track here
as is a wet track. It is a muddy track
there at Churchill Downs, no doubt about that. And it
is a crowded field in nineteen so we are not
far away from them getting into the gates and off
and running for three stuff limb Air five Entuck Derby.
All right, we're gonna be talking plenty about this game

(38:02):
that's gonna be tipping off here in a little more
than half an hour between the Clippers and the Nuggets.
I just I'm gonna give a little overview because we
have a couple of minutes here before the top of
the hour. Uh do you are you surprised at all
that this series has gone a full seven?

Speaker 4 (38:18):
No, not even close. I'm not surprised at all because
they two are the better teams. You know, with Kawhi
Leonard is a top five guy when he's healthy, come
on nine. Then you have James Harden and Zubat and
Norm Powell. Between all these guys, the Clippers are solid.
Their problem is, like I've been saying, I believe the

(38:41):
Clippers are cursed. So they gonna give you excitement here
and there, a little bit of this, a little bit
of that. I just don't think they're gonna be able
to get through the finish line because of karma. But
at the same time, they fun to watch. I believe
the Nuggets will win this game because home court. You
play for home court advantage, and this is an example

(39:04):
of you gotta come ready now. I will say this.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
You do remember Denver losing Game seven.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
At home to Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
I mean a meltdown in the second half of that.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
I don't think they're going to do that today.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
What happened in that game.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
They were seemingly in control, like a walkover.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Against a young Minnesota team, and the second half happened
and bye bye, back to back championships.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
Everybody wants to relax and chill and think. You got
to get through the finish line, and that's the thing.
You can't afford to do that.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
So did you not tell me that TYLERU has never
lost one of these games?

Speaker 4 (39:38):
Yeah, he's four and zero four.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
And oh and you're betting against Tyler in this one.
I'm not so sure here, Holden. I just believe that
I think the Clippers going in were the better team.
I don't know what happened in Game four. I mean,
you're at home, You're coming off a thirty four point
blowout in Game three, and you're sort of doing whatever
to put yourself in a twenty two point point hole

(40:01):
in the beginning of the fourth court.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
He came back a little too little, too late.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
All right, we'll have much more on that and the
rest of what's going on in the NBA playoffs.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
This is Fox Sports Saturday.

Speaker 10 (40:11):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio, rolling along here
on a huge sports Saturday.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
This is Fox Sports Saturday, We're broadcasting live from the
Fox Sports Radio studios. Mark Medena, our NBA Insider, is
going to be coming on with us in about twenty
minutes as we get ready for the derby, as we
get ready for a Game seven between the Clippers and
the Nuggets tomorrow. Another Game seven coming up between the

(40:39):
Warriors and the Rockets. Not too many people a lot
that was going to happen with the Warriors three up
three to one in that series and all of a
sudden losing it home last night for us in Game
seven tomorrow. In fact, it's weird because that series will
start actually and tomorrow, and I believe we have the

(41:00):
Cavs Pacers tomorrow Game one. Yeah, they have a Game
one on the same day you have a Game seven.

Speaker 4 (41:06):
No, they do that all the time. Yeah, because they
can't technically determine.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Who's I want to ask you that I want to
ask you something old and it gets it gets gets
back to JJ Reddick's failure in its first attempt at
navigating a playoff series as a head coach in the
NBA and absolute failure when you're in a playoff series.
Old and obviously it's completely different than the regular season. A.

(41:32):
Of course, it's a playoff game, so there's a lot
more at stake. But you're playing the same team yes,
night after night after night, so you play with a
number of teams, you play for a number of coaches.
How is it different in navigating a playoff series than
anything you've done during the regular season.

Speaker 4 (41:54):
Well, the difference is this, It's plain and simple. It's
regular season. You'll meet in different teams, so it's like,
you know, you you can like you have your core
things that you want to do and then you make
an adjustment to the next team. But you pretty much
stay within your core stuff. But when it's in a series,
it's like, Okay, I have to make in game adjustments

(42:14):
and after game adjustments day in and there are based
on what happened. Even if you win the first game,
you have to make adjustments. And if you lose, that
team's gonna make adjustments. So now you got to make
an adjustment to the adjustment. So that's all that goes
on within the playoffs in the series, like adjustments being made.
Perfect example of that was Tylo subbing Batune for Chris

(42:37):
Dunn to start the second half, threw the Nuggets out
of whack because they walked out there thinking done was
gonna come out, and it was Batoon and all of
a sudden because they sent out their five and he
waited until and then he sent out his five and
that threw them for a loop and Batuma hit a
couple of big shots and everything just went the Clippers way.

(42:59):
So yeah, it's all about adjustments. In the playoffs, well.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
He engineered the greatest playoff series win of all time
with Cleveland. You're down three to one. Golden State has
a seventy three win team, meaning they have two of
the last three games at home, and Cleveland sweeps three
straight games, including two on the road, to knock out
the team with the greatest regular season record in the

(43:22):
history of the NBA. So it's obvious that ty Lou
has been there, done that understands the dynamic. But it
is a different game and this is again what happened
to JJ Reddick. Hopefully he'll learn from this. I mean
he did admit, you know, it's a learning process.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
But the Lakers don't have enough Steve Well.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
I understand that they have to add to it. But
the way he coached that team, again, you've overcome you
need a game four. Right, you're down two games to one.
You're down two games to one, you're on the road. Yeah,
and so you have a ten point lead going into
the fourth quarter. Your five starters have played the entire

(44:04):
third quarter. I don't know, maybe it would be wise
to to sit them, you know, for a couple of minutes,
let them catch their breath, and he decides to grind
it out. By the way, the last time a team
had an entire five guys had played the entire second
half of a playoff game was nineteen ninety eight. That's
the last time that had happened where five guys had

(44:24):
played the entire second half of a playoff game, nineteen
ninety eight.

Speaker 4 (44:30):
And the fact that one of them is forty years
old was amazing to watch.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
And they started missing layups at the end. They were insisting, well,
I had nothing to do with fatigue.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
And he Wolves just ran down their throats and they
used that today advantage. So to me, that was an
epic failure. But I'll tell you this, and I hope
you know you mentioned Tyleru and the Cavaliers the three
to one comeback except three win season. I hope they
gave keky vandaway a ring. Okay, that decision to suspend

(45:00):
Raymond Green was critical to that series.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
You don't think he should have been suspended for kicking
Lebron in.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
The U Okay, so not even anyway, it's neither no there,
but not even close. That was whack.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
Wait, say well literally it was whack. So you don't
believe that he should have been suspended. You don't think
that was flagrant not even closed? Where is where do
you draw the line in terms of where you Finally,
even if it's a playoff game, you have to say no, no,

(45:37):
you've crossed the line too much. It's playoffs, so anything
goes pretty much. Well, if you go back to the
days when Kurt Ramis gets close lined in a place,
they didn't call a.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Foul, thank you. That's what I'm saying. It's playoffs because
the man walks over you. Okay, he kicks his legout, that's.

Speaker 2 (45:59):
Not no, But he he didn't say you didn't think
it was with intent?

Speaker 4 (46:03):
After the fact, you can say anything, but for it
to want a suspension in the finals. And that's the
problem that I have with NBA basketball more NBA basketball
more than any other sport. It's the only sport where
your stars can get thrown out, can get fiule out.
I don't pay money to watch you, referee. I don't

(46:26):
pay money to watch Steph Curry pick up three fouls
in the first quarter to where he has to sit,
And I damn shouldn't pay money, you know, to see
the crap that they're doing. Right now, I know change
that rule. Stars should not be filing out of games
and being come on, it's the playoffs. I'm not suspending right.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Let's say you get a six foul of seventh foul
and eighth foul and ninth fouls still in the game.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
What is the penalty? Two shots in the ball? Two
shots like a technical two shots. Anybody can shoot the
two free throws and the ball. Now you really got
a coach. Do I keep him in? Do I take
him out? You still got to manage your files because
that's potentially four to five six points that you're gonna
cost your team. That would be the best thing for

(47:14):
them to do. Now, no matter what, my star players
will always be a part of the game.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
How did Will Chamberlain never fall out of a game,
matter regular season or postseason? Playing an average of forty
six minutes per game for his entire career.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
How did he never fall out of a game?

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Was it that the officials didn't want to be the
first to foul him out they were afraid of him?
Or how is that possible that a guy could go
an entire career playing in the position he was blocking
shots all over the place, never fell out of a.

Speaker 4 (47:49):
Game because Will wasn't real.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Well, when you look at his statue, you're like, this
guy did not. By the way, we have a winner
in the Kentucky Derby. Sovereignty edged out the favorite journalism
in this muddy track race at Kentucky Derby. So sovereignty
edging out journalism to win this year's Derby. Course it's unofficial.

(48:17):
They got to post the official but there it is
sovereignty as the winner.

Speaker 4 (48:22):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
I mean, I don't know sovereignty. No, Jonal Baffort's course
did not. So it was citizen So citizen Bowl was
waiting leading for a second that I was about to
jump all over.

Speaker 4 (48:34):
And then wasn't that that was twelve to one right, yeah,
oh Baffitt, I tell you, Baffort's not winning coming back.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
So yeah, it was you know, I don't. I'm sure
the time wasn't great.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
But look what sovereignty was though. Look where he was
and he just took off.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Well again, what's interesting, and I did not know this
until I read this, is that again, all these are
three year old horses. I get all that, but none
of them have raced this distance before, so you really
have nothing to go on about a mile and a
quarter and now they're going to react racing the mile
in a court. Oh he stayed on the outside too.

(49:14):
Oh that was nice. Are you telling me that jockey
is not an athlete?

Speaker 8 (49:18):
Man?

Speaker 4 (49:18):
Come on, we always spoke on it. Michael Thompson, Now disrespectful, Michael, Yeah,
I did well.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
I used to kid him. I said, I saw you
shoot free throws. Are you sure you were an athlete?

Speaker 4 (49:29):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
He had that push shot, you know, like Sean Marion.
Oh yeah, I mean, you know, like the two hand
push shot.

Speaker 4 (49:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (49:40):
I don't, I don't.

Speaker 4 (49:41):
I don't ever minimize somebody's profession. They have profo a
reason right to get.

Speaker 8 (49:47):
To that level.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
You're the best of the best.

Speaker 4 (49:48):
We know that Junior Alvarado is a jockey, and.

Speaker 2 (49:52):
He is covered in my covered in I mean he
is absolutely covered in mud. The only not is his
eyes because he had the goggles on. So there it is.
Sovereignty is the winner of this year's Kentucky Derby unofficially.
All right, coming up on the other side, we're gonna
catch up with our NBA insider Mark Medina get his
thoughts on these Game sevens today and tomorrow and what

(50:14):
to look for in the second round of these NBA playoffs.

All right, we got Game seven coming up tween the

(50:58):
Clips and Nuggets today. Tomorrow Game seven Warriors Rockets here
to break it all down. Is Well, the man that
we were just watching on TV guys everywhere these days.
He always is our great NBA insider here at Fox
Sports Radio, Mark Medina, all right, Mark, before we get
to these game sevens, I do want to get your

(51:18):
thoughts on the complete playoff collapse of the Lakers, the
dismal performance in his rookie voyage as a head coach
in the postseason by JJ Reddick. And what do you
deem as the future for Lebron James as a Laker?
Because I'm on record, I said this a month ago,
and my thought has not changed that he has indeed
played his last game as a Los Angeles Lakers.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
So oh wow, oh yeah, I said that a month ago. Well,
I mean, what take?

Speaker 2 (51:44):
Have you been listening to everything he's been saying since
the season ended. He basically he said that, you know,
Luca's future with the Lakers should not have my bearriers
should have no bearing on his future with the Lakers.
He talked about the greatest highlight of his entire NBA
career was playing with his son or he checked that box,
you know, fifty two million. While he's not going to

(52:05):
turn down fifty two million. The guy's a billionaire. That's
not about that. It's about going to a place where
we can win a championship next year if he wants
to continue his NBA career, which I think is very
questionable at this point. So I do not see any
way that Lebron.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
James is going to be in a Laker uniform next year.

Speaker 7 (52:22):
But your thoughts, well, you know it's very well reasoned,
but agree to this. Agree. I think that you know once,
I think he's planning these seeds because he wants to
have leverage. It keeps them in the conversation. But you
may recall two years ago he's floating retirement or maybe
leaving the Lakers in twenty twenty three, and then lum behold,
he just signs another deal with them. I think what's

(52:43):
going to happen is this, he stays with the Lakers
for practical purposes, he can still play with Brownie and
for all the question marks about the Lakers, realistically, his
best chance to win a championship is staying put because
Luca Dodgers is on the team and they'll expect to
make some roster upgrades. But if you hit the nail

(53:05):
on the head Steve about the Lakers season. They may
not have been considered the championship favorites after the Luka
Doncic trade because they had defensive flaws, but the fact
that they lost the first round that was unacceptable. I mean,
they had the same outcome that they had last season
that led to Darvin Ham's firing. And you know, context
is a little bit different because Denver Nuggets were a

(53:27):
better team coming off to the defending champions. But you know,
to losing the first round, the expectation was you got
at least get to the second round, and if you
lose to the Oklahoma City th Under the Western Conference,
it makes sense. But to lose to a Minnesota Timberwolves
team that's very good. Don't get me wrong, Anthony Edwards
a great player. They have a good team, but the

(53:47):
Lakers should have been better. And there's just a lot
to unpack when it comes to their defensive flaws. There
need to get a center. Lebron James's father time showing
up and Luka Doncic, you know, we've seen versions of
the worst habits of him of porting on to the
ball too long, not being the best shape. So they
got a lot of things to fix us off soon.

Speaker 4 (54:10):
Hey, Mark, I wanted to ask let's stay on that
for a minute. And it was funny, you know you
just said about Luca being in shape because JJ threw
that out there. You know, yeah, same championship shape. And
to me that was a dig. You know, But and
I said this when the trade happened. You cannot have
two ball dominant guys on the same team, especially the Lakers.

(54:33):
So with that being said, and I'm not buying what
Steve's talking about about he playing his last game because Lebron.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
I will have the last laugh on this one.

Speaker 4 (54:44):
Lebron still has another son, so he might hang around
for that one too. But my question to you is this,
do you think Luca heard that? And do you think
he's gonna make it a personal thing because that'schampionship thing?
Was that was? That was a direct. I don't care

(55:05):
how you want to play it. It wasn't for him,
but I think it was for him. Do you think
that's still on his mind or not?

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (55:13):
I think Luca heard it, and I think that you know,
if you talk to Luca and he gives you cruse
serum Hill, acknowledge that, Yeah, he needs to be in
better shit. Uh he eve instead of his introductory press
commerce that he was using it as a source of motivation.

Speaker 4 (55:28):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (55:29):
And you know he acknowledged that part. He acknowledged his
defensive weaknesses. I think, you know, when it comes to Dallas,
where it took umbrage with it was isn't enough to
raid a generational talent that really played the major factor
why they got the finals begin with. So I think
under the under this context because they lost, because he

(55:50):
knew these are weaknesses, I think they'll go embrace it.
But the problem is it's got to be consistent the ball.
The ball dominance. I thought and still think that it
can't work with Lebron because Luca is such a great talent.
But what you saw in the playoffs is that it
was the worst version of him where it wasn't just

(56:12):
about him being aggressive and looking for a shot because
he's so talented. He was doing that until the end
of the shot block. He was doing that at the
detriment of great bald movement. And so Lebron's credit, you know,
he was playing off the ball like he is a
player that's you know, there's always going to be the
debate Okay, he's not better than Michael, but like it's

(56:33):
no debate, he's one of the best players of all
time and he's playing off the ball and willing to
do it. But he's only going to be willing to
do it to a certain extent. And where that line
is is if he feels that that player is playing
the right way. And so we saw Lebron brow line
in the sand when he felt that Russell Westbrook wasn't
doing that or D'Angel Russell wasn't doing that. And he's

(56:54):
given Lucas some grace because he's a better player. But
if it continues like that, I can see Lebron eventually saying,
you know what, let me run the offense because it'll
lead to much better results.

Speaker 5 (57:04):
Yeah, well, I'll have.

Speaker 3 (57:05):
Better results if they have better coaching.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
But I'll save that for another day. Let's talk about
the Clippers Nuggets Game seven. What do you see tonight?

Speaker 7 (57:14):
Mark loop the coin? I mean, I would give the
edge to Denver because their home court, they got nikolejokicch
and the Clippers have a very extensive history and falling
short in the playoffs. But when you look at the
identity of this series, it's the anything goes series. Both
teams have won high stakes, close games, both teams have

(57:37):
won road games. Both teams have suffered collapses of double
digit defeat. So what I'm getting at is, you can
spin the rolette wheel in any scenario can happen. But
if I had a guess, I think it's to the
Nuggets because they have home court. The officials will probably
go their way because of that, and they got a
little bit of momentum on their sides because of the

(57:58):
fact that Murray has all of a sudden appeared again
into the better version of himself. But look the Clippers.
They got Game six, They went all out with playing
heavy mess for James Harden Kawhi Leonard to beat the
zoo box Norman Powell. They can still win this, but
I would give the ash of the Nuggets.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
Oh, Mark, I know it's early, but we've been hearing rumblings,
you know, in regards to Yannis Attenta Compo, you know,
possibly playing his last game in walking Now that one
I would go and say, more than the lebron one.
Have you been hearing anything in regards to Yannis, Because
I see there's a bunch of trade options already being

(58:39):
put out there.

Speaker 7 (58:41):
Yeah, I think really anything could happen now if I
had to make a prediction, I don't think Jannis gets
traded only because Milwaukee's not going to trade him unless
he directly says, you know what, I want out. And
it's been very disappointing for the Bucks, you know, losing
the first round for the third consecutive year. But when

(59:01):
it comes to the front office, good or bad, and
coaching good or bad, the Bucks have done Yannis right
with being aggressive making moves, so they've you know, accommodated
everything that they've wanted, whether it's you know, going to
get Damian lowered in a trade, even at the expense
of giving up Drew Holliday. They accommodated making coaching changes.

(59:25):
So I think with the Bucks they can tell you're honest, like, look,
we've done everything that you've wanted us. So clearly you
understand Gianni's frustration with the losing, but I don't think
that he could ever stay with the ray face. You
know what, I'm unhappy with the front office. They're not asked,
you know, they're they're not following my lead and wanting
to go all in, and I don't think it's in
the Honest's nature to ever directly say he wants out.

(59:48):
So I think with that the Bucks are just going
to leave every scenario open as far as roster changes,
even head coaching changes with Doc Rivers. But I don't
think they're ever going to get to the point of
trading honest. But that being said to the larger point
that you're making, and it's going to be a very
busy offseason because Kevin Durant expect to be traded. You

(01:00:10):
look at teams like the Houston Rockets and the Santonias Furs.
They have good young talent and a lot of assets
to work with to make major moves. So there's going
to be a lot of activity and a lot of
you know, domino effects as far as maybe teams like
the Lakers that get involved with getting some of the
complimentary players, the role players that can make a difference
between being a playoff contender or a championship contender. So Buckwulp, guys,

(01:00:34):
there's gonna be a lot of transactions for us to
unfold this upcoming off season.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Well, Lakers can get a lot more if they can
take that fifty two million off the books of Lebron,
I'm saying, I'm just saying. All right, we all agree
that it was embarrassing the way that the Lakers season ended,
losing in five games, including two home game losses in
that series against the Timberwolves. But how devastating would it
be for the Golden State Warriors to blow a three

(01:00:59):
to one series lead against the Houston Rockets.

Speaker 7 (01:01:02):
Yeah, it would be very devastating, Steve, because the Warriors
have so much more experience, They got step Curry, Jimmy
Butler's back and healthy. It was one thing if Jimmy
Butler missed the rest of the series because of that
back injury, but he came back and he's been Jimmy
Butler and the Rockets. Don't get me wrong, guys. They're
a legitimate team. They got good young talent. They also
have good veteran leadership with Fred van Vliet. But the

(01:01:25):
Warriors should have been closing this series down five or
six games. Match shouldn't even go to a seventh game.
But they've messed around with the series and the Rockets
are the real deals. So if they don't close this
out game seven, it's going to be a huge disappointment
because they made the trade deadline move of the season
getting Jimmy Butler. They've been a dramatically different team since then.

(01:01:48):
If they don't win here, I would think it's even
more disappointed than the Clippers or the Lakers losing the
first round. That's been disappointing. But the Warriors post trade
deadline have been a better team than the Lakers post
trade deadline.

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Mark real quick, you covered the Warriors. What is it
about him that they're so careless with the ball, because
that's why they've lost the last two games. It's just
being careless with the What is it about him? What
did you see when you were covering them?

Speaker 7 (01:02:15):
Well, I saw that they were careless with the ball,
but all know, it was a different context. They were a
championship team. They had so many All Stars they could
play with their food a little bit. You have Steph Curry,
he likes to be creative. Sometimes it's too much, it
wrote Steve Kerr nuts it was one of those things
that you know, it makes him seem like he's pedantic
a little bit, complain about turnovers when he's having an

(01:02:37):
all star caliber players coast through double digit wins here.
I think Steph Curry still has a little bit of
that second nature to him, but he can't because he
doesn't have the same kind of margin for error because
it's a much different context. But yeah, it's wild.

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
Yeah, nothing pleases me more than seeing Steve Kerr lose.
I just his smugness just overwhelms me. Like I said,
you look up the definition of smug and I see
the face of Steve Kerr.

Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
I just I'm sorry. It's a personal thing with me.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
I will readily admit the guys went for a championship,
he's got a ticket for the Hall of Fame. But
every time I see Kerr, I just I just can't.

Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
Stand. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:03:25):
I mean there's a lot of people that like him
for a competitive fire and a lot of people that don't.
I mean, Steve orre Wie. Next segment going into yeah
good ridden scrag Popovich, what did you do as a
head coach?

Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
I mean, well, no, no, no, no, I thought again.
You know, I'm going to get into that with this
man right next to me about the whole Popovich situation.
But for now, we will allow you to go on
whatever it's next for you, Mark, I mean, you go
from one show to another. We always appreciate your time
and we'll check in with you next week.

Speaker 7 (01:03:53):
Thanks so much, Mark, We'll stave all and I'm always
honored to be on your show. It's always a pleasure
talking MBA and hear in your tasks because always a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
Yes, yes, as I said, everything was rigged for the
Lakers to win the championship this year.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
How did that work out?

Speaker 7 (01:04:10):
Adam got the memos? But I don't Steve.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
All right, Mark, great stuff is always man. Thanks so much.
That's Mark Mendina, our NBA insider. Now let's find out
what is trending. So aren't you have a feeling about
tonight's game between the Clips and the Nuggets.

Speaker 8 (01:04:31):
I think the Los Angeles Clippers will be victorious tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
Really I do too.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
I'm I'm leaning Clippers. Uh well, I mean the man
right here, Olden Polonies said the Tyler's never lost one
of these games, so that's something again.

Speaker 8 (01:04:47):
Also seems surprised that we both said the Clippers are going.

Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
To win today. Yeah, because all good things come to
an end, not necessarily.

Speaker 8 (01:04:55):
I think the good thing that came to the end
was that a Denver Nuggets championship contains should run.

Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
It would be tough for the Nuggets to have their
season and with a game seven home loss in consecutive.

Speaker 4 (01:05:07):
Years, consecutive years, that would be insane.

Speaker 8 (01:05:09):
Do you see Steve Balmer bought out a whole bunch
of tickets for fans to go. He flew apparently you know,
the wall into a dome, right, Yeah, so he bought
out you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth. I
didn't do the math on a ball.

Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
He's worth hundreds of billions of dollars.

Speaker 8 (01:05:25):
So they see I mean still, I mean I get
it's a parking ticket to him, but you know, us
regular folks are still defensive. He's a fans owner, and
he bought out a ton of seats under this the
basket the Nuggets will likely be shooting at in the
second half right behind the Clippers bench.

Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
Well, when you have the money, do with it. I mean,
this is his passion. Bomber is just a fan. I mean,
you give it to the guy.

Speaker 9 (01:05:49):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
He built the arena again two billion out of his pocket,
but he didn't even blink on that. That place is ridiculous,
the Intuit Dome. So yeah, flying in fans to give
you some kind of edge, any kind of edge. I
think it's gonna work, and so do you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:03):
I do, Yeah, I do.

Speaker 8 (01:06:04):
Kawhi Leonard in the second round, and my I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (01:06:08):
It's been a terrible weather all over America, at least
in Baseball plan America. The Philadelphia Phillies have a seven
and nothing lead over the Diamondbacks, but that looks like
it was in the rain delay. Kansas City and Baltimore
rain delay in the second inning, scoreless Washington, Cincinnati, when
a long rain delay finally got started at two to
two in the second inning. Minnesota and Boston, you geffed it.

(01:06:30):
The seventh inning was broken up, but now they're back
in the eighth Minnesota with a four to three lead.
Boston scored two runs since coming back from play being
postponed San Diego and Pittsburgh's in the seventh inning. That
game took forever to get started to won one score there,
and the Mariners have a one nothing lead over the Rangers, Dodgers,

(01:06:50):
all Stodgers and Braves also in our rain delay. So
make sure you pack your umbrella, Steck.

Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
Yes, thank you very much for that, all right, Martin,
great stuff. As always again, we're coming live from the
Fox Sports radio studios. Don't forget after the show. Our
podcast is going out, so if you miss any of
today's show, check out the podcast. Just search Fox Sports
Radio wherever you gets your podcasts, and be sure to
follow review the podcast rated five stars. Again, just search
Fox Sports Radio wherever you gets your podcasts. You see

(01:07:17):
today's show posted right after we get off the air.
I want to talk about Greg Popovich, obviously one of
the most celebrated coaches in NBA history, more wins than
any coach in NBA history, five championships, never go back
to back, interesting in his run with the San Antonio Spurs.
But one of the things, and.

Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
This is not to diminish his role as a coach.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
I mean, I know when people try to be critical
of Phil Jackson, where they said, wow, that of course
he won. I mean he had Michael Jordan, then he
had Shaq and Kobe, and then he had Kobe and
Pauga Saul and I'm like, okay, this is and the
same thing with pat Riley in the showtime. Here's the
thing about coaching superstar players. Your ego as a coach

(01:08:00):
has to be on the same level, if not more.
If you're coaching a superstar in order for you to
be an effective coach with superstars. And this is definitely
true of Phil Jackson, definitely true of Pat Riley, and
I think definitely true about Greg Popovich.

Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
The difference with Popovich I saw was this he had
the most.

Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
Anonymous superstar player in the city of the NBA and
Tim Duncan, I mean, Tim Duncan's career is off the charts,
five championships, I mean every box, and no one talks
about Tim Duncan when we talk about the all time greats,
we never tell you about this guy. But Duncan allowed
Popovich to be hard on him in front of everybody else.

(01:08:42):
He took it from Popovich. And so when you bring
it in at Jenobili or Tony Parker, Young Kawhi Leonard,
when you bring it in other players and they can
see how he is treating his biggest star in Tim Duncan,
it gives you a lot of power as a coach.
There had to be a huge trust between Greg Popovich
and Tim Duncan. But when we talk about coaching in

(01:09:04):
the NBA, we know some guys are just sitting there,
other guys are coaching. What are what are your thoughts
on the coaching career of Greg Popovich and where does
he rank in your lexicon of the great coaches in
the NBA, certainly in your time following this league.

Speaker 4 (01:09:23):
One of the legends in coaching, one of the best
he and why is that he empowered his players. You know,
he was jovial. You know, he gave everybody a hard time,
like especially sideline reporters and everything else. But he was
a fun loving guy. He was jovial, you know, like
voting to see if Patty Mills will go back in

(01:09:44):
a game, you know, talking to Tony Parker about back
then load management and I'm going to get to that
in a minute. But he was just a guy that
knew the game x'es and o's, but at the same time,
he knew egos, he knew people. Yes, you're right. He
talked to Tim, Hey, I'm gonna go hard at you,
and Tim was like, go hard at me. But it

(01:10:04):
made it better for them, you know, them winning. They
were winning championships every other year. And so to me,
he's a legend in the game, on and off the court.
You know, he did a lot of stuff off the
court that I I gotta tip my hat to him.
But at the same time, there's some things he did
that I don't agree with. That low management thing, Steve, Yeah,

(01:10:29):
was crap.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Well it was crap, and of course he got called
on it late one year when he benched his entire team,
and you know, his idea was, I'll take the heat
for it. The fact that he was so vocal on
social issues that were important to players in the NBA,
how much was that a factor for him to get
the endorsement from players to you know, be outspoken because

(01:10:55):
it didn't sit well with everyone obviously, but he didn't
seem to care about that. He seemed to side with
the players if it was important to them, even if
it was an off court issue. He was very vocal
in support of their stance. How important is that to
gain a trust from a basketball team.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
Well, he had to trust and that was earned because
I remember when he got the job, he wasn't even
supposed to be to even get the job. I thought
they were gonna fire Pop early on in his career.

Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
Well, remember he basically hired himself.

Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
And the team got together and they're like, yo, we
want him as our coach. So with that being said,
Pop has always been about player empowerment players period, you know,
just being on their side. But yet he still had
his way of doing things. He wasn't tyrannical with it.
It was just that, hey, okay, this is how we

(01:11:48):
do it the Spurs way. This is you know, we're
gonna do it A, B and C. Certain players came in,
they didn't follow suit, you know, Stephen Jackson for example,
but he loved Steven Jackson. But at the same time
they were rules.

Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Well what happened to Kawhi Kawhi was.

Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
Just Kawhi just didn't want to be there anymore. That's
about them.

Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
Line why I mean it just I mean he had
his new superstar player. They finally won another championship after
all those years. Kawhi is the NBA Finals MVP. He's
the best player in the league arguably over about a
three year span there with San Antonio, and then he
just decided, I don't want to be here anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:12:22):
Yeah, some guys are like that because I think the
injury when everything started happening, I think Kawhi was really hurt,
but yet the Spurs medical staff was telling him he's
not hurt or he can play through it, and I
think that rubbed Kawhi the wrong way a little bit.
And so to me because if you talk to DeMar DeRozan,
pop was at his side when his father died, you know,

(01:12:43):
stuff like that. So he's done that, and so again
you can't he's proven more than that Kawhi was a
one off. Like I said, I think the way his
medical stuff was handled, that's what rubbed Kawhi the wrong way.

Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
Well, to me, there's a way one way to judge
coaches or managers. How many championships do you win? And
when you're one of the old timers like Popovich, that
means you're on that. Matt Rushmore won the all time
great coaches in NBA history. All right, coming up on
the other, so we're gonna have some predictions from olden polonies.
He's gonna go on the record, who's gonna win this

(01:13:19):
game between the Nuggets and the Clippers that is underway
right now.

Speaker 3 (01:13:23):
Who is gonna win that game tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Between the Warriors and the Rockets. We'll break it down here.
This is Fox Sports Saturday, Steve Hartman, olden polonies here
Fox Sports Saturday were coming live from the Fox Sports
Radio studios. By the way, coming up damn by Ryan
Hollins here on Fox Sports Radio. Another big there, Ryan Hollins,

(01:13:47):
my fellow UCLA bruin, the great Dan Byer. Hey. I
want to thank Martin today just again just doing shows
up to he does everything, phenomenal talent, Mary Mack, great
music today, Mary Mac. Diversity in music is always amazing
to me. And then of course Ian is our producer.

Speaker 4 (01:14:10):
Ian.

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
Did you win money on the Derby tail?

Speaker 7 (01:14:12):
I did not, but I did consider betting on journalism,
which I didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
I'm glad I didn't. Yeah, journalism was the favorite, right, Well, no,
there was second and second horse. I believe three to one, yeah,
second place. Yeah, people are off close to me. You know,
why aren't you your journalists? I go, I'm not a journalist.
I'm a sports sports soccer radio guy. Well, Martin on
his way out made a joke sovereignty beat journalism.

Speaker 3 (01:14:35):
That's not a good day for America.

Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Not a good day for America on that. All right,
Right now we are looking at this Clippers Nuggets game.
It's early six minutes to go on the first court.
That Clippers have an eleven to nine lead. All right,
So you said earlier that you like the Nuggets here olden,
but now that the Clippers are dominating this game by

(01:14:58):
two points with six minutes to go on the first quarter.
All right, So have you seen anything early on to
give you a little preview of how this game is
going to play out? Or is it just too early?

Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
It's too early. I didn't like Christian Brown missing the
two free throws. You know that's a telltale. Also, that's
how I know when the Warriors most likely going to
lose a game when Steph Curry misses a free throw. Yeah,
in the last two games he's missed a free throw
and it's insane. But you know the Clipper is right
now playing well and they're only up too and so

(01:15:30):
it bolts well for the Nuggets.

Speaker 3 (01:15:32):
Is this a technical foul? What happened here?

Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
A defense?

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
All illegal defense against the Clips? So free throw four
and Norman Powell is not happy with that? Calls what
an incredible story. When Norman Powell was a UCLA, he
was a solid college play, wasn't an All American, he
was nothing like that. And you're like, oh, he's going
to get a chance maybe to you know, catch on
sit on the bench in the NBA for a couple

(01:15:58):
of years. I never that Norman Powell would be this
kind of player, because I'll be honest, he was never
that player at UCLA.

Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
I did, I saw it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
What did you say he had?

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
We had him an IAU program.

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
Did UCLA not use him properly?

Speaker 4 (01:16:13):
They did not use him? Probably same thing with Russell Westbrook.
Russell Redbrook went four, Yeah, pick number four, and he
turned out into a Hall of Fame player. Sometimes. You know,
Michael Jordan was limited in college. You know, it happens.

Speaker 2 (01:16:26):
They always had the running gag about Dean Smith's the
only guy that could hold him under.

Speaker 4 (01:16:29):
Under under twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
Under twenty is what he was in college.

Speaker 4 (01:16:32):
Yeah, and so to me, you know, and some people
just developed later. And right now the Nuggets are up too.
So yeah, I mean Norman Powell is a great player.
He's worked hard to become this player.

Speaker 8 (01:16:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Well, he reminds me of another guy that overachieved based
on his UCLA career, Matt Barnes.

Speaker 3 (01:16:50):
Yeah, I mean Matt Barnes was a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
He was, you know, like a football player playing basketball.
He saw some progress each year at UCLA, but it
didn't translate into a a decade long career in They.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
Had to go watch him in high school, did you? Yeah,
you know when I was playing for the Kings, you know,
but he was a he was a way better football player.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
Oh yeah, that's what it was. Well, you could tell
he had a football mentality on the corp. Would it
translates to the NBA again? So much of success in
the NBA right place, right time, right system, right coach,
right everything for certain guys. I mean, the superstars are
going to succeed anywhere, all right. How about tomorrow? How
worried are you about the Warriors? I mean, after they

(01:17:28):
won Game four, they were celebrating like the series was over,
and it's not over.

Speaker 5 (01:17:35):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:17:35):
They have a road game tomorrow and they gotta beat
the young Rockets team that you feel like even though
they're the home team and as a two seed, I
guess technically they should be favored, but no one is
picking them to win, and so to me, they should
be a relaxed team tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (01:17:52):
They went on a run in Game five and they
was celebrating, and that shook me a little bit because
I was like, waiting, this is the Warriors right now celebrating.
It's still like a whole quarter left. You know, this
was like in the third quarter and I was like,
that's a little strange for the Warriors to be doing that.
And but I still think I'm gonna go with the

(01:18:14):
Warriors only because the full aspect of the experience of
Game seven. Iman Thompson's never seen that, Jalen Green's never
seen it. Sam Goon has never seen it. So that's
what I'm going with right now. I'm gonna I'm sticking
with my I don't like waffling. I picked the Warriors. Hey,
they're seventh seed, so the Rockets are supposed to win.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
I want to ask you about one second round series.
How about that crossover by Brunson for the three pointer?
Oo oh my unbelievable forty points. He was voted the
clutch player of the Year in the NBA.

Speaker 4 (01:18:53):
Against a great defender.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
Ah, he put him on the ground and then knocks
down the three to give the Knicks to win. What
do you think the knicks chances are, if any against
the Celtics.

Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
They have a shot. I like the Knicks. I think
I picked them on on the odd couple, and so
I like them to win.

Speaker 5 (01:19:10):
Win.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
I have the Knicks winning against the Celtics.

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
Well, I have felt all along. I don't understand why
no one likes Cleveland. I mean, they have the defensive
Player of the Year, two All Star guards, two guys
off the bench that were in the top three or
four voting for six Man of the Year. What there
is they're not to like about Cleveland?

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
I picked Cleveland also, well, they got two shot blockers.

Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
But I hear everybody else like, well, who are the
Celtics gonna play?

Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
Everybody wants to pick the team of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
Okay, all right, so you're so you're picking the Knicks
to knock out the Celtics.

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
I picked the Knicks to be the same They've always
played against, played well against the Celtics. You know last year,
the injuries, you know, somebody the Celtics had a road
map okay to the finals last year, right, So I'm
not I'm not tripping on them too much.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Okay, and Cleveland, I'll have a nice easy walk over
against the Pacers or cause the Pacers give them trouble.

Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
No, hey, Halliburton's dad's out. So what did you.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
Make of that? What was going on there? I felt
it chow butt down. I felt bad for Tyres It's like, Dad,
what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:20:18):
He's trying to give Tim Moran a run for his money.

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
What are you doing? Dad? You're embarrassing me right now,
sit down, let me play.

Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:20:27):
Coming up, we got Dad and Rio keep it right here.
