Speaker 5 (01:08):
Day to lose WWBA wagers and I can't wait for
there to be one hundred and fifty points scored in
the first three quarters. Brian the twelve scoring the fourth quarter.
That seems to be the problem in the league at
the moment. Crack, I don't Eve, don't watch the wagers.
I think, did you make Brian? I watched a ton
of WNBA. Maybe I don't know, maybe we shouldn't, but

(01:30):
I have not seen a league at any any level
that plays differently. So like the game is a different
sport in the fourth quarter like this, Brian, it's not
even the same thing. It's not like you go look
at the Boss scores everyone, like you'll see a ton
of points first three quarter. In the fourth quarter, they
just don't score. There was a game earlier this week,

(01:50):
was a couple of days ago, the Sky. It was
eighty seven to seventy six. Uh, Crack, I needed four
more points to hit the over with three minutes left,
three minutes left, four more points. Yeah, it ended eighty
seven to seven. Now a single point was scored over
three minutes, not.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Like they scored three zero zero points, zero points.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Unbelieve yesterday there was and I had no money on
this one. But the Links and Sky scored twenty combined
points in the fourth quarter. The Sky scored over that
in two quarters.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
But then look at the other game. Look look at
the the Valkyries and the Aces scoring. Both teams scored
over one hundred points. So it's wild. If you love
wagering on erratic results, the w n b A is
your league because one game goes one way and the
very next game, watch, like the Links play the sky again?
Is it like back that tomorrow? Yeah, and the Links

(02:43):
just lost, They'll win by twenty points. This next game,
watch they'll blow them out of the water and it'll
be the polar opposite result as the previous game. It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Wait, so you want to be a gamblers.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Four games today, I think I've sworn off just like Crack.
You mentioned NBA sides and totals. Yeah, I'm at the
point now where the WNBA, I think that's it's done.
Like I like, there's some props I like today, Like
there's some players on the Dream I think that are
gonna have bounce back games. And he not played terribly
well last game. But the sides and totals, I think
in this league, just like NBA, impossible to play.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
It is impossible, it can be difficult, it can be difficult,
but uh yeah, man, if you're a fan of like
people are big on the zigzag approach in the NBA playoffs.
Some of that holds true in the WNBA. And it's
tricky because you watch a game and you're like, all right,
one team is clearly dominating the other team. I went
to back this team and it's like, nope, it's gonna

(03:38):
completely swing. It happens a lot in that league, but
it's it's tricky. It is tricky. Okay, let me throw
a little Cooper Flag action at you. So Cooper Flag
his second Summer League game last night, and he put
up some numbers. Right, looked a lot better in Game
two against the Spurs. Now this was in a loss,
but he dropped thirty one points, had four rebounds, but

(04:01):
the shooting was much better from the field, ten for
twenty one from the field, three for nine from three
point range. He did not hit a single three in
his debut. So your thoughts on Cooper Flag two games
into the Summer League and really projecting to what really matters?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
What?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
How big of an impact do you think he's gonna
make his rookie season.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Well, he didn't have Brownie James guard. He hid in
game two. That's why he have a better game look,
I think the thing about summer league and what it's
what I say about the NFL preseason. To me, right,
it's about do you look like you belong, if you should,
if you should belong? Right, And Cooper Flag should should
look good in the summer league. He is the number

(04:41):
one pick in the draft, we saw him play in college.
There's all that projection about what he can be as
a professional, and he should look good. I think it's
actually the other way around, Brian, Like, if you look bad,
there's some ques, there's a lot of questions like, oh boy,
oh boy, if you look good to me, that's what
you're supposed to do. In the summer league, he's playing
against guys that are not going to be an NBA
rosters for the most spart right, I mean, I think
summer league, what Brian had one or two guys they're

(05:04):
not drafted, right like Ace Bailey and Dylan They're they're
making the roster. But as far as like when he
plays the Lakers, Dalton connecting Bronnie James, only two I
believe that are going to play, you know for Lakers
next year. Dalton might not even get a lot of
time like he did last year. Brownie obviously just gets
some cleanup time, so you're not playing a ton of
guys that are playing a lot of minutes, and so
Cooper Flax should look good like That's what he should do.

(05:26):
In the subset of my takeaway is that is that
he's checking the boxes of what it should look like.
And I'll say the same thing in the preseason for
some of these rookies. Okay, oh, after Jety looks good,
what a surprise, he should look good like. That to
me is how I view this time of year. I
will say I was very excited to see that the

(05:48):
Crack Synde Kate over there is playing NBA Summer League games,
because I was waiting for that to come in, and
I was waiting for the text message about I mean Smari.
I was like, crack is not anyone over and I
did a group of us not related to the show
at all. We were told to bet on the Hawks
to win the Summer League. So I got like a
fifty to one ticket on the Hawks to win the
Summer League. So Atlanta plays the Suns today and I'm

(06:13):
not going to watch, but I'll kind of keep a
track of the Hawks Summer League supposed to have a
good roster Brian for the Summer League, and so fifty
to one I got Atlanta to win the Summer League.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Oh wow, okay, so so yeah. Out here in Vegas,
just before I get into my flag opinions here in comments,
ran into Frank Caliendo. Yesterday I was online at Miami Slice,
which might be the best it It is probably the
best slice pizza in Vegas, by the way, what a.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Great name, crack, are you kidding me? Miami Slice? Miney,
that's amazing, that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
It's just out of the way. That wish it was
like a little closer to like where everyone's at in
the strip, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, it's down at the the like the North I'm
not going to say it's in North Valls, Vegas, but
it's down at the end of the strip over by
like Circus Circus and past Resorts World, and it's in
in Fountain Blue. But it is probably the best slice shop.
That reminds me of back home. And order is good.

(07:17):
I'm sorry, what's your order?

Speaker 6 (07:19):
Like?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I just got their regular margarita pizza, which is really
that's just regular. They're cheese pizza. But they you know
what they do there, They take the brick of a
grated cheese and they greet it right on your pizza
fresh on every slice, as long as you don't object
to that. So it was about ten people online, and

(07:41):
like the second or third person that was at the
front of the line actually recognized me, came back, was
giving me some comments on a show that I did
the other day that they watched, and asked for a selfie.
So now the person in front of me with his
son kind of turned around slowly and it was Frank Caliendo.

(08:02):
And I didn't recognize him because Frank lost like sixty pounds.
I mean, he looks unbelievable. I just put I actually
just put a tweet out on him on his photo
the photo we took on Twitter, and Frank says to me, oh,
I knew that voice. And I was like, come on, Frank,
you knew my voice. He listens religiously to us guys. Wow,

(08:27):
he's a Fox Sports radio fan, but he actually knew
some things I said last year, like about props and stuff.
I was like, wow, he is not BS and he
really does listen to the show and he's like, hey,
are you staying here? Are you taking your pizza to
go Oside. I'm saying, Goes, you want to sit down?
I said sure? So I sat down with him and

(08:47):
his son, who his son going to college. They live
out in Arizona. His son's going to ASU and just
really very bright kid. He's about to turn twenty one.
He's telling me about gambling and schools and how he
knows some degenerates. He's using the right words. I was like, Wow,
he actually real sharp kid though. He knows about bots

(09:08):
and auto betting programs and uh, it just just really
surprised me. How how you know. I'm really tough on
college kids that are involved in gamblings. I always say
every college in America's got a gambling problem. But this
particular kid was very sharp, knew about it, knew that,
you know, he's a stock guy, he's into a lot
of things, and and Frank was just such a sweetheart,

(09:29):
really really nice guy. Big fans, a big fan of
the show, and we give a little shout out to him.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
And that's really cool, that's all it was.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Really. It was really cool that that he actually listens
like every single week. So, but they're here to see
Cooper Flag. They came and then they were going to
going to eat last night at Piero was one of
our establishments here in town that everyone you know, legendary
spot here in town. And I gave him some other recommendations,
Mother wolfag Fountain Blow is fantastic, I was telling him then.

(09:59):
I was giving him some of the old school Italian joints,
Italian American Club, some places to go. But anyway, they
came in to see Cooper Flag. That's what why they
came here. They were really pumped up and Flag looks
really like the complete player on both sides of the court.
I'm sure there'll be some struggles from you know, throughout
the regular season, but he really seems like a superstar

(10:20):
in the making. One thing that impresses me here is
I haven't heard much talk about yet, is how mature
he seems to be off the court and his interviews.
Remember this kids still only eighteen years old, got a
ton of pressure, a ton of expectations on him. But
when you listen to him talk, he seems like he's
really level headed, the kind of kid that you wouldn't

(10:41):
have to worry about with any off the court distractions.
I don't know how good the Mavericks will be this year,
but I think Flag is gonna be the kind of
player you can build a championship around. Speaking of players
to build a championship around you, you have to love
what the thunder have done in the offseason too. So far,
they've locked up their three young stars into multi year contracts,

(11:02):
and they should be the team to beat in the
West for the near future. You know, Mvpsga is in
his prime with twenty seven years old, Williams only twenty four,
check twenty three. With three With these three guys, you
can fill the rest of the roster with role players
and be able to compete for a championship, you know,
almost every year. So interesting stuff.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Let me throw my Cooper flag observation at you, guys.
I did this yesterday on Countdown and both Rich Ornberger
and Jared Smith lost their minds. Okay, they lost their minds.
They acted like I said, Jesus Christ little overrated and
they are.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Like what it.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I didn't say anything even close today.

Speaker 7 (11:46):
Here.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
So here's the.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
Thing, Brian we know it's gonna be. Are you gonna
call like the next Brianne James or something?

Speaker 4 (11:52):
No, no, no, no, no, no, Here's the thing with
Cooper Flag. Now, you guys are much smarter than the
Saturday you know Ragtag group over. You guys are smart,
so I think you'll hear what I'm saying. But with
Cooper Flag, the future is bright. I think he's going
to be an instant impact player. He's got the offense,
the defense, he's got the blend. His future is incredibly bright.

(12:13):
I think he's going to be an impact player for
a long long time. With that being said, the one
thing that stood out the most to me in his
Summer League debut. Okay, the game was on the line,
his Mavericks are up by two points. He has a
big shot with about ten seconds to go to give
him a two possession lead. Air balls a clean look

(12:35):
from fifteen feet away, And the first thing I thought
of was the final four game, Final four against Houston.
Duke has this lead, it whittles away. Now he's got
a huge shot, game on the line in the paint,
point blank range, clean look, barely got the front of
the rim. Horrible shot, wasn't even close to going in.

(12:56):
And you can't tell me the Final four had nothing
to do with the Summer League.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
And I'm not.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Saying anything like there's gonna be a growing trend, He's
gonna be a bust. He's always gonna wet himself in
the big moments. I'm just saying, this is a hurdle
that Cooper Flag is gonna have to jump over, is
coming through in the clutch, and some athletes feel that
pressure and it throws them off their game, and some
athletes act like there's no pressure whatsoever. I'll give you

(13:23):
a couple of examples, so you know what I'm talking about.
Basketball wise, Robert Ory came through time and time and
time again in the clutch. He was awesome. A guy
like Paul George, as talented as he was and as
productive as he was for a long long time. He
wet himself time and time again in those big moments.
If you're thinking about football, Lamar Jackson, as dynamic as

(13:46):
he is, two time MVP, in my opinion, should be
a three time MVP. He has wet himself in big
moments repeatedly. Tom Brady was nails like time and time
and time again in those clutch moments. Kickers, Terry Money,
Vander Jet, very talented, a lot of success for a
long time, shrunk in those big moments. So that's the thing.

(14:08):
I'm not saying, Cooper Flag is going to be a
dud when the game is on the line. It's just
a mental hurdle he's got to jump over. So this
doesn't become a growing trend. It's not a reoccurring theme here.
That's what I see from Cooper Flag. But they took
it like I was like this guy sucks. I wasn't
saying anything even close to that.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
He's eighteen years old. I feel like he has time
to grow into a clutch player. Absolutely because of his
because of his of his status and stature, he's going
to be looked at to make these clutch shots. I
think it's worth noting that these are very hard to make.
And when you look at the percent of players who

(14:50):
have made shots in these moments, the percent is very low.
It's it's hard to do. And you know, it's funny
how everyone's sort of, you know, like like rags on
Lebron he's actually good in these moments. A lot of
guys like Steph Curry has been awful, game winning shots,
game deny. Steph has been terrible. No one raps on
stuff for that, right, you know, Kobe and Jordan like,

(15:12):
they've been good, not great in those moments. It's hard.
But because of who he is, he's going to be
looked at as a guy that has to win these moments, right,
He's the guy that has to make these moments his.
And you're right, he will be judged differently than other
players for missing in those must have moments. The one

(15:34):
and look the one I think that is Summer League whatever.
He the funnal four one was bad. He if you
want to be that guy, that's a shot that foremy
Brock wasn't close, right, It wasn't really close in the
funnel four toal thing. So look again, he is only
eighteen years old. He has time to figure this out.

(15:57):
But he will be under the spotlight more than guy
because of his of his name, his skill set. Now
for him when he gets to Dallas, though, is he
the guy who takes the last shot? I don't know, right,
I mean a D's there obviously, Kyrie. You know he's
healthier and I don't know, but crack for him. At
least in Dallas, you won't have to take the last
shot early in his career. That would be an Anthony

(16:18):
Davis thing. Or I mean someone else or I mean
someone but him most likely will have the last shot.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
You know, when when the draft was it was official
there and a buddy of mine, wealthy buddy of mine,
I may say, he said to me, Hey, what's the
odds out there in Vegas on that on that Dallas
to one it all? He said, anything more than twenty
five to one is a steal. Now listen, I'll tell
you when that when I found thirty five to one,

(16:46):
I was with Russ. Actual, oh, I was with Russ
and Bryant. We were at the Golden Steer ice picked.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
No, that's why I almost got ice picked.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Then Oh yeah, I love it. Yeah yeah. So we
were there and and so we're we're sitting there in
thirty five to one. And I will tell you though
I don't really remember Brian, but Russ left. He's like,
are you guys crazy? You can't bet thirty I don't
care what they give you, there's no way you can bet. Well,
I'll tell you what, there's no more thirty five to one.

(17:15):
So I can tell you that, not that they're gonna
win it all, but you know, if you're in a
position where you're you get to the playoffs, there. Yeah,
you never know though you know you can hand it
to make some money. But thirty five to one shot
that bet MGM. Bet by the way, thirty five to one,
I'm wrong. One sports book in the world has it.

(17:35):
Everywhere here in Vegas has twenty to one, twenty five
to one. One sports book has thirty five to one,
and it is bet MGM. There it is still cray
five one see.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Correctly two million dollars in your accounts. Wow, waiting there, buddy,
you did say that those betslips the other day. I'll
tell you what, man. I think people accuse, you know,
Handicapper some time of not making the wagers. Buddy Crack
makes all the wagers everyone. If you think that he's
out here giving advice about backing up his own money,

(18:08):
I mean we all do.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
It's why he gets so annoyed. And I get it.
He's like you have these talking heads that give advice
and they'll put a grocery dollar on their bed.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
You know. I didn't mean to send you guys the
whole count balance, but I mean I see, guys, one
of my accounts in town where I bet we don't
they had notre dame at twenty to one. That's right
in college football, where other split places had ten to one,
twelve to one. Didn't see over twelve to one anywhere.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Actually, you're gonna be a playoff team, that's all I mean.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
And I just said, you know, twenty to one that
I made a bet. It was eight hundred to win,
sixteen twenty to one.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
And I sent the copy to the guys, this is
what happens. That I sent the copy of my entire account,
everything pending.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
You've done it before. It's not a big deal, crowd, and.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
They were like, this sick guy, you have that much pen?
Oh right now, middle of July, absolutely on the NFL season,
NFL season wins and stuff. Sure, this is the time
that uh, you know, I can kind of get away
with betting some stuff now and they may not move
as much as you know, people don't like to tie
their money up. The people do not like to tie

(19:12):
their money up in May, June, July for next year season.
But I feel that's where I have some edges. So
uh yeah, yeah, no, I definitely put my money where
my mouth is, and we all do. By the way,
you two guys both fire too. I've seen you. Oh no,
I'm not in that degree.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
But yeah, I've I told you this before I got
this checked that showed up at the house the other day.
That's right, expectedly from a you know, like a PSA.
So sometimes you have unclaimed money in certain states for
whatever reason, like you get taxed too much there, you
paid too much attax. And my mom and why found

(19:51):
unclaim money I had in California, And so they filled
I fill out the forums and got the money. And
I told my wife when the check showed up, that's
going right into the accounts, and she did not like
that answer, but right.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Into the betting accounts. He texted me right away, crack,
we just found five thousand Califia.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
I have to The thing is, I've been waiting to
make some of these future wagers. I have a long
list on my phone a future wagers that I need
to make, and this money will just help help it happen.
So thank you California for the money that we there.
It's my money anyways, I'll take it, but I do
appreciate it nice.

Speaker 4 (20:21):

(22:15):
so I like this news. You've got Paul Skeins of
the Pirates and Eric Scouble of the Tigers. Those will
be your all Star Game starting pitchers. And what's funny
to me is, or what's striking to me, I guess,
is how similar these guys are. They're both young studs,
like young aces. You look at their individual numbers Skiens

(22:38):
era is two point zero one. Scoobles is two point
two three. You could look at them individually and there
are a lot of similarities. Strikeout artists, you know, very
very talented young guns. That's why they're starting the All
Star Game. If you look at their teams, my Lord Wild,
you can't get more polar opposites. You've got the Tigers

(22:59):
best record, the Bigs, You've got. This is unbelievable with schemes.
So since June first, he started eight games, his ERA
is one point seven to seven. Sub to era, he
has zero wins. He's the first pitcher since eighteen ninety
three to allow ten or fewer runs over an eight

(23:22):
start span and not earn a win. That is insanity.
It's a baseball crime with the Pirates have done. Not
surrounding schemes with talent. It's great.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Yeah, and I wonder if at some point he's like, yeah,
you're maun here, guys. I just you know, it's and
I'm a Giants fan and this is very niche. But
like Matt Cain had this problem for years where Matt
Kain would have the worst run support of baseball. He
lose games two to one, three to two, but eventually
they won championship. So I made it paid off in

(23:51):
the end. There's no championships coming here, Brian anytime soon.
There's nothing coming right now, and so I would be
at some point, I'd imagine there is talk crack like,
hey man, I don't know how long I do this
for it. I get it like you want to be
a team player for as long as you can, and
you know you don't want to rock the boat. But

(24:12):
at some point the Pirates have to get serious with
putting a team around him that can win. Otherwise you're
you're going to lose your best asset you've had in years.
And maybe the Pirates decide, hey man, it makes sense
to get rid of skins earlier than later. He's not
gonna want to resign here. Let's go find ourselves some
value for him in the trademarkt Your fans will be pissed,
but Pittsburgh has to put a winning team in the

(24:33):
field in so many years. I'm not sure you know
it really matters much to them whether or not they're
fans are upset with them. But at some point Skian's
gonna is gonna is gonna ask out, and so you
to decide whether or not you want to do it now,
do it later, or maybe decide, hey, let's put a
team around him that can actually win games. It's unfair
what's happened to him? I will say on the schoobol note, guys,

(24:55):
I bet a lot on Tigers games when he pitches
and when he and his strike count prop that dude
might be the most fun player to watch the baseball.
Who's not Aaron Judge right? Like he he he First
of all, he throws the ball about seven seconds, he
gets the ball back, he gets them, he throws the ball.
He looks visibly angry when he's pitching. You know, it
reminds me a lot of a massive bumguarder like get

(25:16):
on the mountain, throw the ball. He looks angry like
it's it's awesome crack to watch him. He works fast,
trucks a bunch of guys out, looks like he hates
the opposing team. When Scooba pitches, I'm going to watch.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, that could be intimidating. It's actually and it is
fun to watch too. You're you're right. So as far
as Skens goes, the Pirates are just they're just terrible.
I've actually heard rumors that they might put him on
that trade market. What what do you guys think do
you think they they could trade him? And then where
do you think he can end up? Like just to

(25:48):
get some some And by the way, I suggest that.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
The Yankees will come to mind.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
The fans imagine if they did this that if the
Yankees were in a situation or the Philly the fans
would like go crazy on exactly but absolutely so the
fans in Pittsburgh. I would think they'd be furious, even
more than you think. I mean, but do you think
it can happen, you guys.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
I think if the right package would would happen if
if I mean, look, the Yankees, he is starting pitching,
as we know, I mean, I I the Cubs. I mean,
there's a bunch of teams that you know would would
not Here's the thing. Everyone would say yes to Skis.
Even the Dodgers would be like signing up for that
right and everyone it's a matter of how much you're
willing to give up for your future for skiings. Now,
if the Dodgers feel like are starting pitching, is not

(26:32):
good enough to win another World Series now without Tommy
being back who looked good. Was it yesterday or two
days ago when he pitched? Yeah, yeah, he looked against
the Giants, Like, no, it's two days ago, wasn't it
two days ago? It was Friday? It was Friday night.
I think he pitched Friday night against the Giants. It
doesn't matter, but he pitched well. Like him being back
is certainly helpful for the Dodgers. But the Dodgers think
to themselves, hey man, we're one arm short of a

(26:54):
postseason run. We'll trade our future away for multiple championhips
right now. They have a good a good, a good
farm system. I mean yeah, I think everyone want to
listen to a Sken's offer. It's just a matter of
how much you're wanting to give up for him.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Yeah, it's a it's a joke. What he's been able
to do and what the Pirates have not been able
to do around him, that's just wild. Where you know,
he's so good and so talented and so productive. One
point seventy seven e r over eight starts, zero wins.
That's insanity, you know, comparing him to schoobl It should

(27:30):
make the Pirates feel even worse about themselves, you know, like.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
They wouldn't live in Babe Root's old apartment. You guys
hear about that.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
I think that was a little bit of fabrication. That's
really There's a lot of people have come out and
said that might all the details of that might not
be exactly how Nonetheless, he also does live in Pittsburgh.
I mean you know that was for that was for
his his wife, right or his girlfriend, like.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah and yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
People have said that story might not turned.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Them down, and supposedly turned them down. They didn't want that.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
I don't have an Hoa in my house here in Charlotte.
We do have one that we deal with with another property.
Oh man, I Hoa's buddy. It's it's a lot of money,
a lot of arguments, a lot of disagreements. It's not
I don't I don't like it. I don't like it.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
I know who you do like though, you do love
you some Isaac Lower, I do you know, thumbs down
on ho A, thumbs up on Iris. It's the math
right there. I low with the latest, Good morning, sir.

Speaker 9 (28:31):
The latest is this co Op board Babe Ruth Libby
Dunn controversy. Man, these co Op people are tough characters.
According to the New York Post an insider comment and quote,
welcome to NYC co op boards. They make suburban hoa's

(28:55):
look like welcoming committees.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Unquote WHOA.

Speaker 9 (28:59):
I'm telling you this is a tough group of people
onto something less tough, perhaps major League Baseball or On
Saturday night, Jackson Merrill of the San Diego Padres Fellas
hit two home runs and a five to four win
over the Phillies. The Houston Astros scored two runs in
the bottom of the eleven to beat the Texas Rangers
five to four, including Zach Schortz game winning RBI single

(29:19):
Angels are over Arizona ten to five. Mike Trout four RBI,
including the three hundred and ninety fifth home run of
his career in the loss. Arizona's a Uhaneo Suarez at
two home runs, he now is thirty one. Athletics over
Toronto four to three. Brent Rooker, the go had two
run home run on the bottom of the fifth, is
twentieth in Major League Soccer. On Saturday night, Lionel Messi

(29:40):
added to his MLS record by scoring multiple goals in
five consecutive matches. As he scored both Miami goals in
a two to one win over Nashville SC Here's how
the second goal sounded from Ken Levica on WESP.

Speaker 10 (29:54):
Who was given right to Messy bed of the box
peace docular miss than Missy start just lowing up to
force the turnover.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
It's a fifth straight match.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
With a price Perlon.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
It'll miss it.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
Here was not a plutter.

Speaker 9 (30:10):
Finally coming up at eleven am Eastern Time today, the
men's singles final at Wimbledon. One seed Yannick Center against
two seed Carlos Alcaraz. The winner gets a lot of money,
as well as one more step towards approval by a.

We're let me pick it.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
What is the equivalent of Lebron playing like the MLS
because it feels like, you know this, like because the
Messy is obviously way too good to be playing the MLS.
Is like Lebron playing like the best basketball in Europe?

Speaker 2 (31:10):
I mean maybe, yeah, he's.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
Yeah, it's like where you know, these some of these
dudes are just guys, you know, and they'll go overseas
and wreck shop depending on what league they're in, you know,
like Chris Purfett or technical producer, he's got something on this.

Speaker 11 (31:26):
It's it's less about that he's still too good to
be playing in Europe. It's just it's all these guys
come over here. It's basically an age factor. A lot
of these guys end up getting pushed off from their
Europeans because it's like they start to get in their
thirties and you start to drop off pretty heavily in
that sport. But MLS is such low quality over here
for most of the guys who do play in it.

(31:47):
And I'm sorry, Like I am a big soccer fan
and like I know a lot of MLS fans get
really uppitty about this, but I'm sorry. It is like
you're not the fifth best league in the world. You're
you're not even probably the twentieth best league in the world.
Like it's it, guy got this is a tale as
old as time. Guy who should be retired anywhere in
Europe comes over here and scores a lot of goals

(32:08):
in MLS.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
All right, so Ilo mentioned as Oreo is inside now
the neighborhood cat is hanging out with us right now.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
I figure when you had to hop off for a
quick second making her parents Again.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
Here's me outing outside. She was knocking. She'll now you
can see the zoom calls. You know, she's she's rubbing
her Hey.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Look, Oreo or Frank Calliando are two favorite listeners.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
You gotta put on social media.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
Absolutely, But the Wimbledon final here today on the men's
side breakfast at Wimbledon. This match will be going on
during our show a little bit in the final hour.
So what do you think you got? Carlos al Karez,
This is interesting to me, sinner. He had the French Shopen,
had it had championship point up two sets to nothing,
he did not win the match. It was an epic

(32:55):
comeback from Carlos Alcarez. My gut feeling is payback this morning.
But on the other side of that, these guys, the
tail of the tape favors Alcoraz by a lot. So
think about this. These two have met twelve times Center
and Alcaraz. Alcaraz is won eight of those matchups. Alcaraz
is better on grass. He's going for a three peat

(33:17):
at Wimbledon. He's won the last two. This is Sinner's
first final at Wimbledon. And then he's also banged up.
He's got the elbow injury, little injury issues that he's
dealing with. So it's like, initially I'm thinking payback all day,
but now the tail of the tape it favors Alcaraz.
And this is the twist. With all of that favoring

(33:37):
al Koraz, It's pretty much a coin toss betting wise,
you know, as far as the odds go, Minus won
ten on both sides. So what do you think you
favor Center or Alcoraz in this one?

Speaker 5 (33:49):
Can I be a trust tree here? I've never made
one original like bet on tennis. Every bet I've ever
made on tennis, a suggestion of someone else. Yeah, I
you know, I have a lot in my brain. It's
filled with with with football knowledge, WNBA unfortunately sometimes NBA

(34:10):
college back. Just it's just I don't have room for
a new sport and so I will watch like high
level tennis today and in about an hour what's it?
What hour and fifteen minutes so like that, But crack,
I have I had nothing for tennis, man. I Every
bet I have ever made on tennis has been at
the suggestion of someone else.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah, you know, years ago, there was an edge in
tennis when you knew a player wasn't going to finish
the whole match, or he was a little injured or
she was a little injured, and they're the rules of
the sports books were, hey, if they get out there
and just start and if they quit and you know,
you still get paid. Then they change the rules because

(34:48):
of the influential social media and uh, you know, just
news in general on the sports So they actually changed
the rules around at the sports books that said you
have to complete most of the sportsbooks that you have
to complete the match. I really don't get into the
tennis betting either, but I do have people in my
circle that actually do bet and the final is pretty

(35:10):
interesting here BETMGM. Like Brian said, matches even here both
players at one ten. Who we having on today, Seamus
or is that yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Famous is on?

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Okay, we'll have to ask if they're getting a lot
of action on this match and who the public is betting.
It seems like this is the kind of match that
goes five sets, so maybe the over work to play.
I'm interested to hear what he'll have to say when
we bring him on.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
So it's to me what's fascinating about sports and also
fascinating about sports betting? Where it reminds me of the
Super Bowl matchup? It really does, where the Chiefs had
won two in a row and they had everything going
for him. That's where it was. But where was it heading?
You know what I mean? Like, so where it is

(35:54):
right now? Carlos al Qarez has the best of this matchup,
but where is it heading? It could be where Center
wins this match. I love how everything does favor al Karez,
yet it's pretty much even money on both sides. That
that's pretty telling right there, So we'll see how it unfolds.
My gut is telling me Center, but I don't know
if I'm gonna pull the trigger.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
We'll see.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
We got a little bit of time before it rolls
around here. Coming up next the parlay platter. Wach have

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Of the day.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
Here's the pitch swung on hit high in their centerfield
and d Tru's going back? Does it have the distance?

Speaker 2 (36:57):
It does?

Speaker 5 (37:00):
A magical moment at target Field. The first cycle in
target Field history belongs to Byron Buckston.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
There you go, compliments of Treasure Island Baseball Network. Is
Buxton hits a cycle over there? HiT's for the cycle,
I should say on his bobblehead day? How about that?
That's a great timing. For over forty years, ti Raq

what and where they drive, shipped fast and free, backed
by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like

(37:33):

buying should be. All right, let's dive right into this.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Check this out far late ladder.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Yes, the platter which have one selection for you. We
pull it together for a greater payout. Crack, We start
with you. What do you like?

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Let's go baseball here? Tampa Bay the Rays the first
five innings minus a dollar ten over at MGM raised
minus a dollar ten.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Okay, Well, Brian, I said, I tore off all WNBA
snids and totals, but I am, in fact blide blied.
I misspoken. I'm going to play something that we have
talked about for a couple of weeks now on tax matches,
which is underdogs and WNBA are covering a ton and

(38:23):
they cover a lot historically after losing by seven plus
seven plus points are more sixty one over the last
couple of years. And the Atlanta Dream played a terrible
fourth quarter against the Indiana Fever the other day. They
lost by I think like seventeen points after being up
for a good part of that game. I got the

(38:44):
dream today plus four and a half at Delberty. Liberty
have not covered games recently with Jones being out. They've
really struggled. They've go and covered one of the last
five games. They're seven and twelve against the spread this season. So, Brian,
I'll take the dream here plus four and a half
on the road at the Liberty.

Speaker 4 (39:01):
Okay, Man, the dogs have been barking big time in
the WNBA. It's crazy, like.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Normally it's like it went out right too.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Yeah, one team is an eighteen and a half point
underdog and you're like, oh gosh, the other team's gonna win, right, Nope, Nope,
they might not even win out right. It's it's been
like that, especially lately in the WNBA. Okay, So, I
was going with a prop for you, but man, sometimes
you can't. You can't combine these two, you know, right

(39:30):
like these WNBA you went with the side. I was
going with the prop. I like Paige Beckers today over
sixteen and a half points h taking on the Indiana
fever and the matchup with Caitlin Clark. Caitlin is not
this lockdown defender and the one thing though you're gonna
get Arique a goombwalle back. Yeah, she is not shy
about shooting the basketball, but it's a matchup advantage for

(39:53):
page Beckers, and I think she's still gonna maintain her
aggressiveness even with the Rique being back. Seventeen points is
not too much to ask for, So I'm gonna go
with page Backers over sixteen and a half points. The
thing is fine print. You can't always combine these legs together.

Speaker 5 (40:09):
So well, so do we choose a different a different
Well do I need to choose something differently to make
it work with? I choose a propo dot work.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
You could try? Which one was yours?

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Crack?

Speaker 4 (40:18):
You went first five, raise first five, raise first five. Okay,
let me get let me get cracks in there?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Right there we go?

Speaker 5 (40:24):
So not I have another one I like. I could
change shoot you go for it. I mean, well if
I if I change, it will not help our parlay
work problems.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Let's give it a shot.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Okay. Well, the other one I like is I like
Alisha Gray over seventeen and a half points for the
Dream today. She was really bad in the last game.
It's the feet or think she had six points two
of eleven shooting something like that again, this exact thing.
It works, especially with some of these high scores that
play really bad the previous game, they play much better

(40:54):
next game. It's it's natural. I think last week was
her I'm gonna make sure I have this right y
averages and the nineteen points a game she had six,
she had six. I don't expect her to have six
again in this game.

Speaker 4 (41:07):
Yeah, there you go. All right, Well, good news, bad news.
I like that pick, but it won't work either. By
So let's go to Wimbledon. Okay, I am going to
I'm gonna follow my gut Cinner wins it. I'm going
Yonick Center to win. So those three legs plus six
thirteen over six to one pretty good payout, right there.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
I like you ad at all?

Speaker 4 (41:30):
All right, Cooking with Grease coming up next. This guy's
comments valid or soft. Welcome in Happy Sunday to you
as we roll on over here. So Kirk Cousins in
the news, right Falcons backup Quarterback sounds weird to say that,
but he's featured on the second season of Quarterback on Netflix.

(41:56):
The the series rolls on and so we have Kirk
Cousins Joe Burrow, Jared goff All featured on this season,
and Kirk Cousins. He made headlines because he said he
felt a little bit misled by the Atlanta Falcons. You know,
Atlanta signs him to this deal with one hundred million
dollars in guaranteed money. Seems like he's going to be

(42:17):
the guy. All right, I'm going to be in Atlanta.
This is a long term play, the Vikings. It's not
going to be like that. It's gonna be more year
to year. So all right, let me uproot my family
heading over to Atlanta. Didn't work out like that at all.
Here are some of Kirk's comments about feeling misled.

Speaker 6 (42:35):
Wasn't expecting us to take a quarterback so high at
the time, It felt like I had been a little
bit misled, or certainly if I had the information around
free agency, it certainly would have affected my decision. I
had no reason to leave Minnesota with how much we
loved it there if both teams are going to be
drafting a quarterback high. But I've also learned in twelve

(42:55):
years in this league that if you're not entitled anything,
it's all about being able to earn your and prove yourself.

Speaker 4 (43:03):
So that's what he said, felt misled. And it's interesting
because there's a promo for a two pros and a
cup of Joe. Jeff will fill in for that show
from time to time. Right, and LaVar Arrington, he's basically
saying that Kirk sounds completely soft. He said he sounds
like a soft mffort. So he didn't say the actual word.
That's exactly what he said. That's what he sounds like.

(43:25):
And I get that argument.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
I do.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
But to me, if you're in a similar situation, right,
if you're buying a car and you think you're buying
a Porsche and all of a sudden it turns out
you're buying a Toyota Camry and you were misled by
someone selling you, you'd be like, dude, you've totally misled me.
I completely understand where Kirk is coming from. He thought

(43:49):
that he was going to be the guy. He got
one hundred million dollars in guaranteed money. The Vikings. They're
the team that's going to draft a quarterback high. The
Falcons weren't expected to do that. I guarantee when Kirk
signed that was not part of the plan. That was
not openly discussed, like, hey, Kirk, we might take a
quarterback into top ten that was on a left field.

(44:12):
And so for Kirk to feel like he was misled,
that is completely understandable. And it's a cold hearted business
and sometimes that stuff happens. But to say that you
felt misled, totally understandable, totally reasonable to say that and
feel that way.

Speaker 5 (44:28):
I think it's certainly reasonable to say that because as
you mentioned, like think about Countins, right, So he signs
with the Falcons. It's a full guarantee contract, which again
is just insane that he keeps getting those, and he's like,
I'm the guy, right, I'm now the guy, and just
any life have you got if we got a job

(44:48):
like this and it was the three of us, we
all got guaranteed money, and they're like, actually we're bringing
in a fourth. We're bringing in you know, we're drafting
the next up and coming radio star. I mean, he's
the fourth on your show. You'd be like, but three
of us just got garing. We three of us doing
the show, Like it makes doutal sense? Right, why what
cousins would would feel that way? And it didn't. It
didn't appear to me like he was whining in the show.

(45:10):
It was like, this is how I feel. I felt
that the Falcons betrayed me. Right, I'm bringing it to
start now. I would say that you know where the
soft part comes in, and this from you know, playing experiences.
You know you should and I think he mentioned this
at the end of his comments, you should take it
as a challenge that guy's not going to beat me
out right, And then I think that's what Will Levar's

(45:31):
talking about. The softness is like, you don't let it
affect the way that you you play, you perform, and
and for the most part, a lot of us that
don't play quarterback, that's our entire career always trying to
replace us. Right they draft, They draft offensive lineman every
single season, and he might play left tackle. I might
play right guard, but maybe plays right card at some point.
They always trying to replace your quarterback. It's very rare

(45:53):
they draft your immediate replacement after they sign you. So
I understand what Couins feels that way. The part that
I didn't like about what he said, what stuff about Minnesota,
where like I didn't have to leave Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (46:04):
We loved it there.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
Why did you leave like that? That part.

Speaker 5 (46:07):
It feels the soft part, like, don't we leave that
part out? Like you left own that decision that you
left own it, you left for a reason, own that decision,
and then you're allowed to be upset what happened in Atlanta.
But don't bring Minnesota into this because Minnesota wanted you back,
I think, and you said no, and maybe they wanted
you back and they wanted to draft a quarterback, which

(46:27):
what they did. Anyways, I just to me that part
I did, I didn't terribly like. But I get why
he feels some sort of way about Atlanta drafting Michael
Pennock's crack.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
Sure, yeah, I get where Cousins is coming from. He's
a competitor that wants to be on the field as
a starter. But no, do you think if the Falcons
told him they might draft a quarterback it would have
stopped him from signing that contract? I don't remember why.

Speaker 5 (46:49):
I actually think he would have stayed in Minnesota and
just had them draft McCarthy to keep everything.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
For here's one hundred and eighty million. I mean, we
don't know exactly what the Vikings offer was, but it
was a ordered to be a one or two year deal.
Cousin's got a guaranteed. I think it was a guarantee
one hundred million dollars out of that, you know, I
think that's what Don Corleoni and the Godfather calls and offer.
He couldn't refuse absolutely, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah though that

(47:16):
it just seems like, Wow, I was surprised when he
got that kind of money to go over there. So
but you know, if they're paying them that kind of money,
I wonder what the GM and the and the owner,
I wonder what they were thinking, Like, are we giving
this guy this kind of money for just a year,
even though we're giving him you know in Atlanta, Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (47:39):
That's why it was weird. Yeah, that's to me, My
whole thing has been don't do both. Like, if you're
gonna draft Michael Pennox junior, cool, you don't need to
sign Kirk to one hundred million dollars guaranteed deal to
eventually be a backup. That's why you're drafting a top
ten quarterback and so Kirk Cousins can be a backup.
It doesn't make sense to do both. And if you're

(48:00):
if you're gonna commit to Kirk okay, then commit to
Kirk and don't go with Penix Junior. I just didn't
think it made sense to do both.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
This is where I landed too, right, Like what the
process of what Atlanta did, where you know, maybe they
had buyers remorse immediately the Cousins are like, oh, he's
not as hell as as thinking it maybe looked they
signed him in March. It's fair to maybe assume Brian
that they had not finished their homework yet on Penix
and he wowed them so much he dropped to eight.

(48:28):
They're like, we gotta take him at eight. We gotta
do now. And that's funny how they look smart sort
of now doing that because of what happened to Cousins
last season has played decline so much. But the process,
I also think the Atlanta's process this year, you know,
spending a first round pick next year on James Pearce.
I mean, I just don't want the process. Like the
process to me just feels very very poor. And I'm

(48:49):
I'm I'm big on for the draft. Of course, grading
a draft based on results years later is totally fine
to dud in the moment. To me, I'm a lot
about process, man, Like, what was your process like when
you made those decisions, and I just don't think the Vikings.
See me, the Falcons process was great with Cousins at Penix.
It might turn out to be it might turn out
to work well, it might. I mean, look again, with

(49:11):
the way you know Cousins played last year and his
injury and what Pennix look like, it's very very clearly
it could have worked out. It might work out in
the end. The process though, was pretty.

Speaker 4 (49:22):
Poor, really poor. Really, Like that's the thing, Crack. I
know you're a big baseball guy. I'm all for a
team taking big swings. The Falcons have taken big swings.
They signed Kirk Cousins, then they drafted Pennox junior. Like
Jeff said, they moved up. They spent a first round
pick next year on another pass rush. Yeah, I had
to get some pass rush help. But to me, they're

(49:44):
taking big swings. Think of a literal baseball hitter taking
these big swings. It's but it's like, what are you
swinging at? Are you swinging at a pitch in the
strike zone? Are you're just taking this mammoth cut at it?
Or are you taking this big swing at a pitch
that well outside the strike zone? There's a huge difference
between the two, and it feels like the Falcons are

(50:05):
just taking huge swings at pitches outside the strike zone.
That's not smart. You're gonna get beaten over time if
you keep doing that.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
I just wanted to see what Pennics got paid so for.
He got four years twenty three million standard deal. Yeah,
thirteen ye kind of standard in eighth pick overall, actually
is getting holding eight hundred thousand dollars base salary this year.
But yeah, I guess the four years is fully guaranteed,
so he'll get Oh, I see, got thirteen point four
million up front, so this move. I'm reading an article

(50:36):
here out how much this surprised the NFL. Stunned the NFL. Now,
I guess it's based on what happened last year on
the field, But you know, I'm referring to what happened
with Cousins on the field last year. But this will
be interesting to see what happens here. I like, like
I said, I actually like Cousins. I liked he was

(50:57):
on what was he on a couple of years ago
that maybe they just uh the quarterback.

Speaker 5 (51:03):
Does it's the same show he's on again, the.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
Same show he's on the same show. I actually liked
watch I didn't. I really enjoyed watching all of those
quarterbacks in that show and how they go about It's
so much more when I see the homes in depth there.
It was just so it was a great it was
just done so well. I didn't know so this year's
I didn't see any of this year that you guys

(51:25):
both see it already.

Speaker 5 (51:27):
I've seen the first episode yet I have finished. It's
more of like I watch when I'm like eating lunch.
It's not like a show of binge watch. So it's
just like, oh, oh, it's oh, meeting lunch. Okay, I'll watch.
I'll watch them more quarterback, you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (51:43):
Well that's the thing is there's an argument to be
made where because Penix Junior's contract is so cheap, Like
Crack just pointed out, you can do both. But I
would argue, like sein Kirk Cousins and draft Pennix Junior,
you can make it work financially, but I would argue,
you're negating your biggest advantage. The biggest advantage in the

(52:03):
NFL is having a young quarterback on a rookie contract.
He's on the cheap and you can splurge and you
can sign a lot of dudes via free agency and
really spruce up your roster. And the Falcons said, you
know what, instead of having this great advantage with all
this financial flexibility with Pennix Junior on a rookie deal,

(52:27):
let's just commit that money to Kirk Cousins, who's going
to be a backup in his first year in Atlanta.
It's just dumb. It doesn't make any sense what they did.

Speaker 5 (52:36):
That's and that's what it is, right like it. It's
just financially in roster building wise, it doesn't make sense
because you want to hit that window where that quarterback
is cheap, and and they missed one year of that window.
They're now in year two of that window. Don't really know.
I think Panics is the guy, but you know, is
the roster around him good enough to make that happen?

(52:58):
And they're just they're wasting money on on basically Cousins
just sitting at home, yeah, do do and and and
not helping them out.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Now.

Speaker 5 (53:04):
I think I still think Cousins will be traded at
some point this season.

Speaker 4 (53:11):
I think they're smart to wait. Don't just release the guy.
Don't try to get something for him.

Speaker 5 (53:15):
Because there's a situation where let's say I'm obviously injury
happens in the preseason, but you know, there could be
a team who's like, this is just not working out
with our guy we brought in. Let's go get Cousins.
It's certainly possible those things happen and that ends up.
You know, that ends up with Cousins, you know, finding
a home. Uh, you know, and uh and somewhere else.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
Yeah, you know, you know a team that might fit that.
Think of the Colts. It looks like it might be
Daniel Jones. Right now, they didn't sign Daniel Jones to
this mammoth contract. Anthony Richardson is banged up with his
shoulder injury. You know, Shane Steichen's on the hot seat.
Chris Ballard has got to be on the hot hot
seat as well. Could they maybe it's not going to

(53:56):
take an arm and a leg like draft pick wise
to get Kirk Cousins. Could you see a team like
the Colts, if they can make it work financially doing that.
I could see that even right now before an injury.

Speaker 5 (54:06):
I mean the Colts basically, it would I mean it
would be a lot to bring in another quarterback. Jeez,
what they have right now.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
In the.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
Yeah, the Colts I mean with basically we're trying to
save their job. Yes, Brian, something could absolutely do. I'm
with you. But when you when you have Richardson, you
have Daniel Jones, and then you bring Cousins in that salary,
I mean, Atlanta's have to eat some of that salary
to make any trade work, which I think we know
which is the hard part about this, like they have
to make it work with financially. But yeah, the Colts
could be one of them. I just again, I'm I'm

(54:37):
the Colts can't figure out quarterback. Everyone's gone, so I
could see that happening where they you know that they
have to make it happen by by training for Cousins.

Speaker 4 (54:46):
I think Cousins looked so bad. He was, you know,
like in that that stretch before he got hurt, hurt,
you know, he was really rough.

Speaker 5 (54:55):
It is worth pointing out that, you know, coming off
of achilles injury does take sometimes to that second season.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Sure to feel good.

Speaker 5 (55:05):
So there is a chance that Cousins would be better
this season given that rest, and of course he didn't
play much of the last season, and there's some motivation
of wanting to play well coming off a getting bench essentially.
But for the Colts exactly, I what's the point the
Colts they failed to develop Anthony Richardson. It should be
looked at like buddy they they they drafted quarterback who needed,

(55:29):
who needed to get reps and could and didn't give
him reps. And now that stame staff is gonna trust
cousins and make cuts like they need to. They needed
the clean house, honestly, and start over again at that position.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
Yeah, guys, I don't mean to interrupt. You know, you
could see him pointing here betten think I made like
four bets in the last ten minutes I mentioned, Well,
there we go. No, did did one of you did? Jeff?
What did you give out in the parley platter? Was
it Atlanta dreams.

Speaker 5 (55:54):
Dream plus four and a half? And then Atlisia Gray
over points.

Speaker 2 (55:57):
All right, Atlanta Dream plus four and a half? Isn't it? Fish?

Speaker 5 (56:00):
She'll play Why are you at the Liberty today?

Speaker 1 (56:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (56:04):
No, no, no, no, no, no. One of my buddies that's
very very good at just sports betting. And I can
don't say that about a lot of my buddies. They're
just buddies. But uh yeah, he he just he just said, hey,
MGM has the Atlanta Dream plus four and a half
minus fifteen. Very good line. So I just, uh, I
didn't know if that. I said, wait a minute, that

(56:25):
didn't the Schwartz send can play that?

Speaker 5 (56:27):
Oh yeah, I like again, I know that we talked
about this crack, but I mean it's hard and I
could pull up some some numbers. As I mentioned, there's
some teams are good, but the underdogs, man have just
been been rolling this year in the w like outright
winning like even the Sun the other day, the Sky
had been doing it even though the Sky's record gets
the spread as a very good as an underdog, youbro,

(56:50):
I was pulling this up right here. The Sky are
four and seven ats as underdogs, but they feel like
there are dogs a lot. They lots of eleven games.
They've been winning a lot of those. Two.

Speaker 4 (57:02):
Yeah, they're a bad basketball team. It's like this bottom
line is they're a bad basketball team. But yeah, every
now and then they'll not just cover the spread, they'll
win outright and it's like, yeah, what was it yesterday
when they played the Links? It feels like nine days ago.
But yes, yeah they are eleven and a half point dogs,
winning out right and fairly easily right, win by six.

(57:25):
So WNBA is wild. All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper. He's firing away bet after bet. I
love that, love to hear that. We've got Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran. I'm probably in no use code
countdown at BETMGM and receive up to fifteen hundred dollars
back in bonus bets if you don't win your first bet.
When you're registered with BETMGM, you'll get instant access to

(57:46):
a variety of parlay selection features, live betting options, signature bets,
the best daily promotions in the business. Again, use code
countdown and you'll get up to fifteen hundred dollars back
in bonus bets if you don't win your first bet.
By the way, little nugget on the lib, Yeah, they
that was the first game they covered their their latest
win against the Aces, and Asia Wilson got hurt in

(58:07):
that game. That was the first game they covered in
like their last ten games. They gone nine or ten
straight games without covering. So something to keep in mind
when they're you know, laying four and a half at
home today. I think the dream is a solid play
and they got banged up last game two and that's
why they got rolled by the fevers. So better health,

(58:27):
better result maybe. All right, Coming up next, we got
Seamus McGee from bet MGM. Well, we'll compare betting notes
with what's going on on the docket today and see
where the sharp money is. That's on the way. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by bet MGM. It

(58:48):

countless betting options, including new look, same game parlays, teasers,
live bets and so much more. All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
Follow the money, real good money.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
That's right, following the money with our main man, Seamus
McGee with us here on a Sunday team Lead of
Sports Trading at BETMGM. Good morning to you, Seamus. Okay,
so we've got breakfast at Wimbledon the men's final. You
guys at BETMGM. You need Center or do you need Alcarez?
What's the best case scenario?

Speaker 7 (59:32):
Hey guys, great to join you today on Sunday. Yeah,
definitely one of the biggest handles. Well, we'll see on
the tennis match all year, the Wimbledon Championship for the men.
Right now, it's looking like we might need center here.
Alcarez is just so popular, especially ever since his performance
of the friendsh Open. Yeah, Center has been really dominated

(59:53):
on grass. That's why you see him as a slight
favorite here. That's why I do think you do see
some money coming in on Alcoraz as a small BA.

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
Looking ahead to next week now to open the final
major on the golf calendar. What do you expect from
handle on this one? Are people just going to be
more into because it's the final one of the year.
I imagine that Scheffler will be the heavy favorite here.

Speaker 12 (01:00:18):
Yeah, it's it's definitely gonna ramp up.

Speaker 7 (01:00:20):
We'll start seeing the money come in, you know, the
next few days or so. But it's a major, So yeah, Scheffler,
we're gonna see we already are seeing like more than
half of the money.

Speaker 12 (01:00:30):
Is on Scheffler right now.

Speaker 7 (01:00:33):
We're starting to see some Oberg money come in at
twenty two to one, he's probably right now our biggest liability.
We do see a lot more European money come in
on the open for you know, the European golfers. Tommy Fleetwood,
he's been getting a lot of action today as well.

Speaker 12 (01:00:51):
So that's what we're looking at right now.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Hey, Seamus, let me ask you personally, Maybe because I
grew up with boxing and baseball, love the All Star
break for families and the players bring their kids and stuff.
It's a fun time of the year for a lot
of those players, like I said, and in general. But
how however, wagering wise, I have had some fun myself

(01:01:14):
and made some scores in the past on someone like
home run derby props and that that kind of stuff.
What do you see percentage of volume? Will you guys
get a lot of plays on that type of stuff
where you get a lot of home run prop stuff
or is it kind of really drop off the volume
and people just waiting until after all start break. And

(01:01:35):
of course we have football just a couple weeks away.

Speaker 12 (01:01:38):
Yeah, I think people love the home run derby. I
think they love betting on this.

Speaker 7 (01:01:42):
We'll start seeing the money ramp up probably tomorrow, once
you know, everyone's done officially on the break. But yeah,
for now everyone's mainly just taking derby winner. But we'll
have plenty of props right now on site. We got
advanced to the finals, dance to the semi five. We
probably will put up some first round over unders tomorrow

(01:02:06):
or maybe the day of Tuesday. We've named the finals
with the Jack Dockham. There's plenty of options for anyone
who wants to bet on the jerby to find something
to put their money on.

Speaker 4 (01:02:15):
You know, Seamus, if you break down the money that's
coming in just the overall handle, what does it look
like for today, just on a Sunday. You've got you know,
the men's final at Wimbledon and the various other things.
You've got good summer league in the NBA, you've got
Major League Baseball games, You've got w NBA, anything that's around, Like,
how would it break down in terms of biggest handle

(01:02:38):
followed by the second, third, fourth in line?

Speaker 12 (01:02:41):
Right?

Speaker 7 (01:02:41):
You know how much I love soccer. You even have
the Club World Cup Final at three o'clock. What are
we doing here Chelsea PSG. But I think you are
going to see most of the money on the tennis,
on the wibbled and we have a lot of VIP
players who do putting some big bets down on the tennis,
and then from there you'll just see a normal baseball

(01:03:03):
a handle that'll come in. Probably need some underdogs. You know,
if the Cubs beat the Yankee today, it would be nice.
So that's what we're looking at, that's what we're watching today.

Speaker 5 (01:03:14):
We talk a lot of WNBA on on here. How
much do you get on on a regular game versus
a game like Caylin Clark playing today on primetime.

Speaker 7 (01:03:23):
It's you know, I feel like you hear it a lot.
It is really it's the fever. It's all about the
fever in this league for us right now. So their
games take a lot more money on the action unless
we do get something like a Liberty Aces game that
is like a big deal for the league. But you know,
whenever Caitlin Clark is on primetime TV, especially ABC, it's

(01:03:44):
definitely going to attract a lot of action, especially on
Caitlin Clark crops.

Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
Yeah, today also we have a b C Edmonton, don't
figure Canadian football, we got ah. Let me ask you
for a personal standpoint though you said I just heard
that love for soccer there. Do you actually like do
you like the soccer action you yourself? Or do you
or you like us guys we can't wait literally drooling

(01:04:09):
for NFL? Or do you stick to some other things
like soccer? Crack?

Speaker 12 (01:04:14):
I was kicking a ball when I came out of
the womb.

Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
I love soccer my whole life. I wake up at
seven am to watch Arsenal Football Club play.

Speaker 12 (01:04:24):
Wow, I love it. I'll be I.

Speaker 7 (01:04:26):
Firstly, I love betting, like the league too, like the
third or fourthier in England on Saturdays, because I think
that's where you'll find more edges in this sport.

Speaker 12 (01:04:35):
But yeah, for me, it's it's a love of the
game for me.

Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
Cool.

Speaker 5 (01:04:38):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (01:04:39):
You had a shame of special on the under twenty one. Yeah,
showdown right at your hardcore when it comes to this stuff.
All right, Seamus, We normally do this on Saturdays, but
we appreciate you being with us on a Sunday. Do
you have a shame of special for us on a
Sunday here?

Speaker 7 (01:04:55):
Yeah, I'm gonna stick with the Club World Cup here.
I think PSG minus one thirty five in the ninety
minute mark actually seems like a pretty cheap price.

Speaker 12 (01:05:05):
I'm gonna go with PSG within ninety minutes in the
Club World Cup over Chelsea.

Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
Okay, fair enough, we'll see how that goes down. Well,
great stuff is always Seamus. He'll you have a good day.
We'll catch you soon.

Speaker 12 (01:05:17):
I'm a good one guy. He's good to be on.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
Thank you man.

Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
There he is Seamus McGee, team lead of sports trading
at bet MGM. You know, we go from the Seamous
Special to the Ilo Special. He is big on darts,
he specializes in dark picks and he's also he's big
on Wembledon. I don't know if he's got to play today.

Speaker 9 (01:05:38):
What do you have for us here, Islo, I actually
do have an Ilo Special.

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
Your intro is perfect.

Speaker 9 (01:05:45):
Unfortunately we're gonna have We're gonna have to save the
best for last year, but it's well worth it. I'll
try and race through what happened in Major League Baseball
on Saturday night. San Diego's Jackson Merrill two home runs
at a five to four win over with the Phillies,
but Houston Astros scored two in the bottom of the
eleventh to beat the Texas Rangers five to four, including
Zach Schwartz game winning RBI Single Angels over Arizona ten

(01:06:07):
to five. Mike Trout four RBI, including the three hundred
and ninety fifth home run of his career in a
losing cause. Arizona's Auhanio Suarez two home runs and I
was thirty one this season. ATHLETICX over Toronto four to three.
Brent Wooker the Go I had two run home run
in the bottom of the fifth is twentieth home run
of the season. Coming up at the top of the hour,
it's the men's singles final at Wimbledon, one seed Yonic

(01:06:27):
Center against two seed Carlos al Karaz. Now so tennis
legend Andre Agassi is serving as an analyst during Wimbledon
for the British Broadcasting Corporation and during all Karaz's semi
final win on Friday over Taylor Fritz, Agassy had the

(01:06:50):
following contentious exchange with broadcast partner Andrew Castle because Agassy
wanted to talk about the match, while Castle I wanted
to talk about the celebrities in the Royal Box.

Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
Listen to this.

Speaker 6 (01:07:06):
It's a lovely world books there today, and this is
obviously a great ticket for anybody.

Speaker 12 (01:07:11):
But if I can just make one comment here in
the short of a prediction.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Saw Lisa Taylor go to another level of risk with
the serve.

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
We saw him go to.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Another level of risk with the back end pace go ahead.
He lets say, well, I just gotta say, that's a
light page. She's a musical theater, cheap book with the
best test. This is andre Agassi House. He's guessed the
Royal Books member that's going to fund somewhere. It's all
torture me. Let me finish my point. So he's gone
up on his risk on his first cirt tato. He's
gone up on his risk on the pace of Israeli shot.

Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
He's letting his fire fore him fire at So he
has chose his sort of you know, poison pill.

Speaker 5 (01:07:50):
This is how I have to play up.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
I'm going to win.

Speaker 1 (01:07:53):
The question is how long can you do it? And
this is where I really belonged to.

Speaker 6 (01:07:57):
Okay, that's great, Well that was Nick Klegg a full
mile Tiffany Trumps.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
And people watching are watching for ten year old Rightford.

Speaker 8 (01:08:04):
Not for this.

Speaker 9 (01:08:07):
That's the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Speaker 4 (01:08:10):
That is pretty good.

Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:08:12):
Was it an.

Speaker 9 (01:08:12):
Agasine who had the commercials in the nineties that said
image is everything and how he's like a total pearist
and the other thing that's classic. It's not like it's
the A list Krem Dela Creme celebrities. It's some random
British musical theater performer as well as the former deputy
Prime Minister. But that's that's just the greatest thing I've

(01:08:34):
ever heard.

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Back to you, guys, that is great.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
There he is I Lo. This is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown,
presented by BETMGM. Be sure to check out Fox Sports
Radio YouTube channel. Just search Fox Sports Radio on YouTube
and you'll see a whole bunch of video highlights from
our shows. And be sure to subscribe to you always
have instant access to our Fox Sports Radio videos on YouTube. Okay,
So I caught a couple of comments from an NFL

(01:08:59):
player and he's giving his teammate high praise. So I
want you to tell me is this just high praise
or is this player straight up high? Okay, So this
is Kyle Hughess. Check of the forty nine ers. He's
talking about his teammate, Christian McCaffrey. He's got high praise
for the guy. He says, Christian is arguably the best

(01:09:20):
player in the NFL. He was the offensive player of
the Year two years ago. He changes everything, and he
looks incredible. He looks so healthy, he looks so explosive.
That's the comment from Kyle Uscheck. Now, first things first,
Christian McCaffrey was completely banged up last year, only played
four games. His stat line was fifty carries for two

(01:09:41):
hundred and two yards. That's what we're looking at here,
fifty for two to two. One year removed from an
insane season for the Niners. So hopefully he is healthy.
Maybe use Check is right, Maybe he does look incredible,
he looks explosive, he looks like his normal self. That
might be true. But the first part of this, Kristen
is arguably the best player in the NFL. He's not

(01:10:04):
even close to the best player in the NFL. Right now.
We're talking a year removed and a couple of serious
injuries removed from an outstanding season. There's no one in
their right mind that would say Christian McCaffrey is is
better or more valuable than Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow.
The list goes on and on, like he's not close

(01:10:27):
to being more valuable than those guys. Am I crazy
hearing you with team used check on this one.

Speaker 5 (01:10:32):
Oh look, it's just the as Lion season, right, It's
like the time of the year. Everyone's in the best
shape of their entire life. It's the Edenter training camp.
By the way, Crack, did you know this? Brian might
have know this. There was a team that reported a
training camp yesterday. The rookies for the Chargers reported yesterday.
Rookies are allowed to go. It used to be seven days.
It might be like three before the veterans show up.

(01:10:53):
And because the Hall of Fame game is very near
July thirty first, you're allowed to report fifteen from July
thirty first, and then you add on the rookies part
of it. They ended OTAs June twelfth, and the rookies
reported July twelfth. It's insane, So we will get by
by tomorrow. Probably some on field practice video of the

(01:11:17):
Chargers rookies. I get to I get to start, Hammer
and my O, Mari and Hampton offensive Rookie Year sixteen
to one ticket. I think that one, that's my favorite.
I like that one a lot, by the way, for
Rookie of the Year. So we do a football on
the mind as always a teams are in camp. Look,
this is just a look as you check. Just him

(01:11:37):
and mccaffre are boys, right, I mean you say these
things because you're supposed to. And the Niners, look, is
this sort of a make or break year for them? Right?
They are a veteran They are top heavy, veteran group
who just paid their quarterback. If you look at at
the Niners and their draft selections over the last five
years has not been great. This class last year seems

(01:11:59):
like it could provide them with a lot of future stars.
But it's a top heavy team. Man, Trent Williams, you know,
back off injury used, check is older, Kittle's older, Fred
Warner's older, Bose is older. You get the picture, right,
It's a lot of guy McCaffrey's older. And we saw
a couple of injuries, right, did not a lot of depth,
not earth. So I think their mentality rightfully so is

(01:12:21):
like we got to get it this year, right, This
is kind of a time to do it. I also
wagered on Trent Williams went Protector of the Year nine
and a half to one. Was where I found it.
If you're into such things as wagering on awards. A
wait for Cractice sent out his first notification for his
first Protector of the Year wager. He makes this.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
There you go, by the way, it sounds like the
schwartz of females need to find some more checks over there.
There you go for all these bets. Sorry, Brian, go ahead, No,
you're right.

Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
I was just gonna throw out there while we're talking
prop bets, the season long prop bet for rushing yardage
on Christian McCaffrey is nine to fifty and a half.

Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
Yeah, what do you like? What you feel about this?
I bet all the running backs under Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
I just unders of the way to go on the
season long props. I can't tell you the amount of
money that I have made put it this way. I
fly across the country just to literally fly nonstyle, and
I pick up a non top flight twice a year
to Connecticut just to go to those sports books there
to to bet unders on player props individual player props.

(01:13:28):
Every year for the last four years, Unders is the
way to go, especially when it comes to guys like McCaffrey.
And I'll even go with someone like like Barkley.

Speaker 5 (01:13:38):
Barkley, if you bet this year, you have to bet
the under this year. It's the only choice you have.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
If you bet that's right, you can't be first of all,
coming off the major injuries. Who knows how effective of
being how you know how limited he's going to be. Barkley,
like you just said, Jeff, he had a record breaking
the year last year and the Phillers Philly was they
kind of met managed to really stay healthy too, but
that was really his first full season without doing any injuries. Again,

(01:14:06):
when it comes to the season one props like I
only played one way, especially guys that are coming off
at that f history of injuries and the guys are
the marquee players now. Listen, I want no one to
get hurt. But all I'm looking for there was rest
a couple of games, maybe you know, a little little
uh you know, break here and there, wouldn't wouldn't. Sorry,

(01:14:27):
I don't want to get a broken leg or anything.

Speaker 5 (01:14:30):
But can I give you guys a wager I made
this week for sure for defensive Rookie of the Year.
I made a wager this week Carson Schwetzinger plus three thousand. Okay,
he's a rookie linebacker for the Browns. My man is
a tackling machine. All he does is RA one hundred
and thirty six. Last season at u c L A

(01:14:51):
hard You know, it's hard to do that in college. Right,
he had two interceptions. Last season, he had four sacks.
He had nine TFLs, ninety solo tackles. He's going to
play a lot for the Browns this year, Right, He's
gonna play a lot. We know defensive Rookie of the
Year can be linebackers. Darius Leonard. It reminds me of
his first season in the NFL. The pass rushers I

(01:15:14):
think are fine in this class, but not to where
I think they're gonna be like that much better than
Swatsenger thirty to one man for a guy who's gonna
start and gonna he's a tackling machine. I like it.
I like I like a lot with Shaquille Leonard.

Speaker 7 (01:15:29):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:15:30):
Shaquille Leonard for the Colts won in UH in twenty eighteen.
Livebackers can win this award.

Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
Yeah, I wonder i'd have to go back and see
what the Colts record was that year. That's the one
thing I worry about because the Browns aren't winning many games.
I'm with you on the player, Like the player is
gonna put up numbers, but the man, the lack of
team success, that's what worries me. Or even if he's
all over the he'd have to go freaking ballistic Browns

(01:15:59):
three wins, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
Yeah, thirty?

Speaker 5 (01:16:01):
I feel like thirty to one though, Like that for
a guy, a middle linebacker or a linebacker is going
to start and play every and play every game and
it's a tackling machine. I mean, I think that's a
good number. Again, somebody just played the number. But I
mean some of these guys, like like James Pierce Junior
eighteen to one? Why what all these all these past questions?
Mason Graham twelve to one? Really I twelve to one?

Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
I don't. I just sent you guys some pending bets too.
And I also got involved with o'marrian Am I saying
his name right? May A Marion at sixteen to one
NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Speaker 4 (01:16:38):
Look at you thinking like the short syndicate over.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
The Yeah, so he reminded me of it. So I
just sent you guys some pendings there.

Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
Very nice. By the way, if you're looking at Christian
McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley, you look at the workload to
put it in perspective. So Christian McCaffrey, this was two
years ago when he had the special season, so he
had almost almost fifteen hundred rushing yards, fourteen touchdowns in

(01:17:04):
the regular season, two hundred and seventy two carries right,
two seventy two and Sequan last year three forty five
in the regular season that went over four hundred rushing
attempts with the playoffs included. That's a ton of wear
and tear. That's a lot. And with the big thing
with McCaffrey was achilles tendonitis. I hope he's healthy. I

(01:17:28):
hope McCaffrey and Saquan are completely healthy this year because
they're special players. But when you're coming off a year
with achilles tendonitis and with Saquon over four hundred plus carries, man,
I don't know if health is in the cards. So
like at some point your body just starts to break down.
We've got Bill Krachenberger, professional sports anddicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight

It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by bet MGM.
No time to waste. Let's dive right into this.

Speaker 1 (01:18:33):
Prop it up player plays.

Speaker 4 (01:18:37):
Yes the prop betting market crack. We start with you
with something you like.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
I'm gonna go with Jeff's former favorite sport to bet
on the w NBA. Let's go. Caitlyn Clark assist over
eight and a half today, back from injury. She seems
full strength to the going up with Dallas, who gives
up the most assist in the league. I can see
Clark getting a double digit assist in this one. Let's

(01:19:02):
go over eight and a half Caitlyn Clark assist, all right?

Speaker 5 (01:19:07):
Two wagers. I like in the that Room game I
mentioned earlier, I like, you know Gray over seventeen and
a half points. Sh had six points last game, she
was a leading scorer, did not did not play well.
MESSI five. And also I like Jones again, so the
zig zag theory. Jones did not only had four shots,
fouled out early in that game. No Jones for the

(01:19:27):
for the liberty still and so there'll be a presence inside.
I think she can think advantage of over thirteen and
a half points last one, I'll just fire him. And
I liked the under one and a half runs first
three innings in Houston. Houston in Texas today it's a
Valdi and Brown, So I like under. I played this
yesterday with the Graham and who was throwing ve lefty

(01:19:52):
for the Astros, and I got to be the first
inning only two runs at first three n So I'm
going back to it again today. Yeah, I'm going back
to it again today.

Speaker 4 (01:19:59):
Yeah, yeah, who was your what was your second pick?
Where's your second end?

Speaker 5 (01:20:03):
Marina Jones over thirty half points?

Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
Gotcha?

Speaker 5 (01:20:06):
No, no, joh Quell Jones today for the for the
for the Liberty.

Speaker 4 (01:20:10):
Still Oh okay, gotcha? I know, John Quell our girl, man,
Well that's my problem. So I'm going. Sabrina Genescu over
four and a half rebounds is what I'm thinking here
against the mystics. Well, actually, uh, Sabrina, who the Aces?
My goodness, who are the Liberty?

Speaker 5 (01:20:29):
The dream?

Speaker 4 (01:20:30):
We got the dream today? Okay, So if you look
at Sabrina, she's been over four and a half rebounds
because our girl, Jeff John Quell Jones is hurt and
so these rebounds got to go somewhere. And so if
you look at Sabrina, she's been over four and a
half rebounds in four of her last five games, and
she's easily going overly. Last game against the Aces, she

(01:20:51):
had eight rebounds, you know, she had six at halftime.
So and they're not adjusting it. It's still minus one
to oh five to the old a four and a half.
I'm riding this until the wheels come off because our
girl John Quell Jones. They played the Mystics earlier this season.
John Quell Jones had eighteen rebounds in one game. You know,

(01:21:14):
like so without her being on the court, it's a
it's a team effort, right, It's a little bit of
Brianna Stuart do. We get some rebounds, but Sabrina gets
a lot of rebounds. So I'll take over four and
a half for Sabrina today against the dream There.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
You go, all right?

Speaker 4 (01:21:30):
Coming up next, how many teams will run it back
and how many divisions will have new champions. We'll compare
notes next. Oh what is going on? Happy Sunday to you.
I hope your day is off to a great start.
So we're getting set little breakfast at Wimble did al
Carez taking on cinner Man for Sinner? You let one

(01:21:53):
go the French Open. We'll see if it's payback time
here today. By the way, did you guys catch this?
With a shout out to the ladies so IGOs fiatc.
She won Wimbledon, her first Wimbledon crown yesterday in straight sets,
six love, six love as a dominating performance. But this
is what she said. I don't know if you heard this.
This was after she won her semi finals match to

(01:22:16):
make it to the championship. Check this out what she
said her musical tastes.

Speaker 5 (01:22:20):
Now as you walk on to court, you're often listening
to music.

Speaker 1 (01:22:23):
What was the music that got you in the mood today?

Speaker 4 (01:22:26):
Same as every time.

Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
I like to keep my routines.

Speaker 5 (01:22:29):
So there's some ACDC Gonsmnosis, led Zeppelin, So they're rolling stones.

Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
There you go, he got getting after it a little
bit right there. That's right up your alley, right crack
you like a lot of other hands.

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
My gosh, you just named some of my favorite bands
of all time, ACDC, Stones, Zeppelin, My god, if she
put Pink Floyd in there, she would complete the quadruple
there while.

Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
You go yeah, and she said it was a little
disappointing Jeff where she said, not too hard with the music,
but likes to get pumped up before the matches right there.
So it doesn't sound like she's quite metal, but hard
rock is good enough.

Speaker 5 (01:23:07):
Not totally in I will say, guys, as we've been
talking about futures for football, I am, I am. I've
spent the last If you guys, just look to the screen.
I've been staring at my phone for about twelve minutes
in a row. Now I am, I'm I'm deep into it. Now,
I'm like looking at big ten passing yard leader.

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
The worst thing I should have done is send that text.

Speaker 5 (01:23:31):
I think some of these markets though, are just not
very efficient, Like I like you get from Nan Mendoza
of Indiana at eleven to one. He's so good, Like
in Indianas that passed the ball a bunch. I do
so many of these options to wager and these stuff.
It's probably not I probably shouldn't look at this, but
I'm like deep into like finding these in the weeds wagers.

Speaker 4 (01:23:52):
Now it's funny to me too, Where you know, based
on how the team plays, Indiana might come back to
Earth a little bit. Right, they made it to the
colle A Football Play Dream season. If they come back
to Earth a little bit, that could be even better
for your player player prop. You know, if they're whatever
they're losing in the fourth quarter compared to they've got
a double digit lead, that's something else you got to

(01:24:13):
throw in there.

Speaker 5 (01:24:13):
A lot of absolutely, I mean you look at it.
Last year, Curtis Rourke was one thousand yards short of
Will Howard. Obviously in Ohio State. But Will Howard's not
there anymore, Julian sayin's there, right, I can, can I
give you two bets I'm made. I bet MGM that
I think are are are worth are worth a wager
now because I think I think the one market that
I feel like I do well in every year is

(01:24:34):
the sack market for sacks for for for defensive players.
So Nick, Nick Benito, he's he's getting better every year,
all right. First year in the NFL, excuse me, barely
played fourteen tackles, one and a half sacks. Then he
went up last season, excuse me two? Where is it

(01:24:56):
that right here right here? To eight sacks? And season
two played more games for starts. Last year fifteen starts,
seventeen games played, thirteen and a half sacks. So getting
better like every year? Right? His number is nine and
a half plus one hundred to the over. I mean
typically when guys continue to kind of rise up like that,
they continue to get sacks. So nine a half feels

(01:25:17):
pretty low. And I and the Broncos, by the way,
are gonna be good this season. They'll be ahead in games,
they'll get the opportunity to rush the passer more again,
of games. There was Jared Verse over seven and a half.
I took minus one ten. Toron Armstead just retired right Dolphins,
longtime Dolphins. I saw him this weekend. By the way, Brian,
he looks great. I mean, he's bumm need to retire.
But he said the other day that one of the

(01:25:39):
reasons he retired one of them, but was like, I
never have to play Jared Verse again.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Seven and a half sacks.

Speaker 4 (01:25:48):
Yeah for a.

Speaker 5 (01:25:49):
Guy who who don't want to play ever again as
a rookie.

Speaker 2 (01:25:53):
Sure, so I hit those crack. I hit both those
Jared vers over and I'm actually surprised. So like, like you,
we just talked last last segment about how the unders
on yards and stuff. I would think it would be
the same thing in the sack market. But so you
got a couple overs here.

Speaker 5 (01:26:13):
You know, I'm not playing Miles Garrett over fourteen and
a half. But I'm right right right, I'm playing some
of these lower numbers over. They've one year they had
Bosa like ten and a half. He finished with like fifteen.
I mean some of the numbers are pretty low. I'm
not playing the big guys go over, even though I
think Hutchinson over fourteen and a half. We'll say it
starts the season, but these are these are low numbers.
Like for a guy that thirteen and a half sacks last seasons,

(01:26:35):
a third year player heading into his fourth year nine
and a half, I don't know what I'm missing here
to pass rushers get better? Right, their sacks either level
out about you know, fourteen to eighteen in a given year,
right when they become good within a situation. Situationally, Dever
is going to be up. I think in a lot
of games he's going to rush the passer, like you'll
have the opportunity. It's hard when you think Miles Garrett, right,

(01:26:58):
Brown's will be behind you a lot of games. He's
gonna have to You want as many passers opportunities to
make that happen. Where where the Broncos will be. I
think we'll be up in a lot of games this season.
We'll have a chance to rush the pass her.

Speaker 2 (01:27:11):
I'm not betting under on on those particular guys. And uh,
you know, you know my old saying, I'll be rooting
for you.

Speaker 4 (01:27:17):
There you go there, We're gonna have to go mega
fast here now that Jeff got his sack, bet props
right there, right, get in. We're going with every NFL
division who's winning the divisions and we're seven minutes in,
so again we're the Phoenix Suns offense seven seconds or less.
I don't want you dilly dallying, all right, Schwarts, all right, crack,

(01:27:39):
no dilly dalling anymore. All right, we're doing division winners,
gonna AFC East. I know Oreo still passed out over there.
She doesn't care. She lets me be who I am.
We like in the a f C East couple of comments.
Who you got?

Speaker 5 (01:27:54):
Yeah, I'm actually uh we mentioned that money earlier I
got that might go to my account. I'm I make
a half unit wager on bills minus two seventy five.
I just don't think they're losing the vision. Unless Allen
gets hurt, it might be well, you know, it's a
pricey I get it. But if he gets hurt, you
can find other ways to bet the division, right, I

(01:28:15):
mean you know so, I mean, how are they losing
the division? Brian, you're a Dolphins guy. I'm sorry for
the segment to do that, but I'm not putting money
anything else in this division.

Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
Yeah, I'm with you. I'll be real quick here. I
don't like laying two seventy five on anything, but it
forced to bet something there. I'm anti Dolphins this year,
so Buffalo Bills, I agree.

Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
Yeah, Fins have lost so much talent. I like the Patriots.
I think they're going to be the second team in
the division. I think it's going to be too much
of elite for them to win it. It's Buffalo's division unless,
like Jeff said, Josh Allen gets hurt the North, you
got the Ravens or somebody else.

Speaker 5 (01:28:54):
I'm okay, I betmgym right now. Where's the North? Right here?
The Ravens minus one forty five, Bengals plus twenty. So
this is a division where I think I'm gonna probably
sit it out and then see how this breaks down.
Because look the Ravens, I mean the Ravens. Bill's Week
one am. I cracked on that, Brian, and that's week
one matchup. If the Ravens lose, I know it's not
division game. You're gonna get better number immediately, right Well,

(01:29:17):
you just wait, just wait, I mean just wait, like
you're gonna get like the Bill's number is only gonna
get worse. It's not gonna get better in my opinion,
which sounds crazy. This number. This number will fluctuate all
season long. It would be Ravens or Bengals in my opinion.
But again, the Bengal starts slow every year. They start
one and three. Again, two and three. You're gonna get
a better number immediately, So I think you can wait

(01:29:39):
this number out. Crack.

Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
Yeah, I'm probably gonna abstain here, but I will tell
you something. You're gonna be shocked, both of you, guys.
I think the value may be a stupid peanut peanut
peanut minus bet little ten ten dollars or something on
the Browns.

Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
A thirty Oh wow, really crack, really ten bucks.

Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
It's not like not even slice a pizza money.

Speaker 5 (01:30:03):
It's not. It's not the worst of my opinion. They
have a talented team, Brian, it's just the quarterbacks is
so bad. So you here's the deal about divisions. I'll
give my quick tost slammers. I have to rush to
everything since Brian bullied us a few seconds ago.

Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
Nope, is.

Speaker 5 (01:30:20):
The best quarterback wins every division? If you if you
go with that premise, that saves you a lot of
time and energy in picking these winners, right, so for example, yeah,
thirty to one, Brown's good talented roster Joe Flacco or
Shuder Sanders or Dain Gabriel, Like that's the end of
the session.

Speaker 4 (01:30:37):
Yeah, man, it's It's still the Ravens from me, unless
the injury bug hits them. I just I don't trust
the Bengals defense. I don't trust the Steelers collectively. I
think they can fair, yeah, but I don't think they're
gonna be you know, their ceiling isn't as high as
the Ravens. I go, Baltimore. How about the AFC South
who you have winning that division?

Speaker 5 (01:30:57):
I mean, I think, oh boy, that's a fun one, right.
The colt should not be the Colton Jaguars being the
same number as kind of disrepectful Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (01:31:10):
Yeah, it really is.

Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (01:31:11):
If I was making, if I was taking this market,
Jacksonville three to one would probably I'd be okay with that.

Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
I think that's wrong at Jacksonville three to one. If
I just I can't take the Texans that pick them.
I just can't. So if anything a little value on Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
You know what I think, And I hear you guys,
trust me, I do. But what I think is this
is a cesspool of a division. Let's start with that.
The Texans, they make it to the playoffs and then
they get punked, right, and then I want to pick
somebody else to win the division. But if Jacksonville's making
the playoffs, they're gonna get punked too, you know. So
it comes down to that for me where I think

(01:31:51):
the Texans are just they're the best team in the division. Yeah,
and I would pick them. I think we all love
the Chiefs?

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
Is that right?

Speaker 4 (01:31:59):
In the AFC West.

Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
I have made I have made that wager correct?

Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
Yeah? Yeah, I know a lot of people love the
Broncos this year. It's like one of the big bets
that the sports books they're telling me. But uh, yeah,
the Chiefs I agree with minus one twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:32:11):
Okay, NFC, how about uh the NFC East? Does Philly
finally win it back to back? It's been two decades
since someone's won back to back nfcs.

Speaker 5 (01:32:20):
My favorite set they've had. They've had what to be
the fourth Super Bowl champion in that division in twenty years.
They haven't had back to back winning, back to back winners. Okay,
I just I want to make this point now. I
don't understand the people that are on this CJ. CJ
on Jady Daniels sophomore slump, and I saw a highlay

(01:32:42):
video of him the other day too, and even even
convinced me more he want to have a sophomore slump.
Now he's better than CJ. Stroud, Like he's better And
the situations are not the same. Right Houston situation with
offensively just a bad designed offense with with injured wide receivers.
The Commanders don't have that problem. Their offensive line check
right wide receivers. Mccornill, he'll play right checked running back

(01:33:06):
coordinator Like they're good. Now, are they gonna win twelve
games in every season? I don't know. That doesn't mean
they're gonna be worse this season, right, but he's not
gonna have a sophomore slump. So the thing about Eagles too,
and again I'm not I don't have a I guess
I would. I'm making a long way would say he
probably Commanders as we're going to with.

Speaker 4 (01:33:24):
Not allowed Jeff, but seven seconds or less of the Eagles.
The Eagles do have.

Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
They lost their offense coordinator again, and they lost some
guys on defense, like they're not the same team they
were last season. So I think I would bet on
the Commanders here. Don't feel great about it, but it
would be Commanders or nothing. Crack.

Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
Yeah. It made a lot of money the last couple
of years on Eagles winning the East, and you guys
know I sent it to you guys ahead of time.
Even even to win the NFC last year, I have
to scaft the pass on that this year. I can't
lay a dollar fifty on that for those reasons Jeff
just mentioned. I think Commanders are already over undervalue here. Well, sorry,

(01:34:03):
I'm sorry. Overvalue. They're two to one, two twenty five.
I don't think that's I think I should be getting
more for that. Just a little value. Bet on the
Cowboys here at six to one, just a small one,
nothing crazy interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:34:16):
I'm on the Commanders. I think, like Jeff said, Philly,
Philly lost a lot of defensive talent uh Saquon Barkley
with that workload last season. There's no way he can
maintain that. And worst case scenario, it gets banged up
and he's a noticeably lesser version of himself. That would
greatly affect the offense. Yeah, I like Washington. Jaden Daniels's dynamic.

(01:34:37):
How about the NFC North. The Lions fifteen and two
last season, but their road schedule is brutal, freaking brutal.

Speaker 5 (01:34:45):
You have in the North, it's a really hard schedule.
You should probably just bring that schedule up for I'll
bring it up for here for a second. So the
Packers for me, I they're close, Brian, right, but something
about them, I just can't get there sometimes with them,
by the way, So here's here's the Lions obviously play
the Packers on the road in division, but they play

(01:35:07):
the Ravens on the road, Bengals on the road, Chiefs
on the road. They're at the Commanders and at the
Eagles and at the Rams, and.

Speaker 4 (01:35:16):
Yeah, good luck, there's there's no favorable matchup on the
road the whole season. Yeah, they're all tough.

Speaker 5 (01:35:25):
Look, here's it. So if JJ McCarthy has anything, is
anything plus four hundred four to one for the Vikings
is the plan? Make here? Because they're a really talented
football team, right, they improve their offensive line in free agency.
Dariso's back Jefferson Adison Naylor probably one two three best
in the NFL, right, one two three, close to the best.

(01:35:46):
Of the NFL. Hawkinson running back situation defense is good,
so to me, it's the Vikings here, Brian, is what
I would put the money on now. Four to one.

Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
The first NFL future prop I gave you guys this
year was this Vikings bet. MGM had plus four to
seventy five to win the NFC North. We're really high,
me and my team really high on the Vikings this year.
So I even have a bet at the end of
the show for you guys involving them. But yeah, I
have Vikings to make the playoffs. I bet multiple times,

(01:36:16):
and I just I think the value here is probably
the Vikings.

Speaker 4 (01:36:21):
Yep, you know, listen, I'll say it fast where I
know there's more than enough reason. You guys laid it
out to not go with the Lions to win this division,
but they went fifteen and two last season being a
mash unit. I just can't imagine they have as bad
of injury luck this season. And if anyone's built to

(01:36:41):
manage through a brutal schedule, it would be the Lions
and the grit right their whole demeanor.

Speaker 2 (01:36:47):
So definitely fair.

Speaker 4 (01:36:48):
Yeah, the NFC South, I go Tampa. I think Tampa
is still the class of the division. I know you
like the Panthers, Jeff, and you like him to win
the division.

Speaker 5 (01:36:59):
I I don't know that. The worst injury for Tampa
is a problem left tackle.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
Yeah, I mean, if I were.

Speaker 5 (01:37:05):
To put anything on this, it would be it would
be the Panthers four to one. That's what I would not.
Don't feel strong about it, but that's what I would do.

Speaker 2 (01:37:12):
This is really a pot luck division here. Just give
me the Falcons plus two forty.

Speaker 4 (01:37:15):
I guess, okay, all right, I like Tampa's offense, but hey, listen,
I think it's up for grabs NFC West. A lot
of Niners love where you guys go in this one.

Speaker 5 (01:37:26):
Oh I'm on the Rams already, been on the.

Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
Rams really Okay, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:37:30):
That was a big one for me last year.

Speaker 5 (01:37:32):
We've talked about good Niners already. This show right, like
a very top heavy roster, but very talented. The Rams
I think are better. But but this is why schedule matters.
The Niners schedule is a joke. If you look at
at Jared Smith's metrics, he did right or where he
showed a matrix where he showed like the you know,

(01:37:53):
the whole season schedule he had, you know, the odds
for all the teams. I think the Niners were a
favorite in sixteen to seventeen games. To Jaredy it was
maybe fifteen or seventeen, So I mean at Houston, might
be a dog at Houston and maybe against the Rams
when they're in Los Angeles. Maybe Tampa Bay Ish. That's it.
The three Maybies the entire season. Their schedule was so

(01:38:14):
easy they might not be better than the Rams. I
know it sounds weird to say like the might be
better but have a better record. So why the NFL
is right Like the Rams might be better, team, might have
the better record because of their schedule.

Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
They're just not. The odds just don't appease me though.
Plus one sixty plus one eighty five, that's forty nine
Ers or Rams. So I have to go with a
little flyer on the Cardinals plus four fifty.

Speaker 4 (01:38:36):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
Nothing crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:38:37):
That's where I am too crack. I like the Cardinals
in the NFC West a couple of reasons. Why quietly,
number one scoring offense in the division last season, number
two scoring defense in the NFC West last season. That's
pretty good. And you look at what Jonathan Gannon has done.
I think he's done a good job with that defense,

(01:38:58):
and they they upgraded the talent. I got a few
free agents that I think will make an impact, Spend
a couple of draft picks on dudes that will something
one will be a starter and Will Johnson. And offensively,
they run the ball well with James Connor, love Trey McBride.
He's a fantastic tight end, one of the best. And hey,
if Marvin Harrison Junior takes a noticeable step forward again,

(01:39:21):
that's the number one scoring offense in the division last season.
I think Arizona is more than live to win the West.
I would back them as I don't know my little
curveball pick right there.

Speaker 2 (01:39:32):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (01:39:33):
Pretty well done, guys, very nice look at you and
we got through of it good, nice like it, concise,
direct teamwork. I feel like we checked multiple.

Speaker 5 (01:39:45):
Brian, what's your favorite division wager out of all the
ones we just mentioned.

Speaker 4 (01:39:49):
Well, that's a tough question because a lot of it
is it's not just who I feel most confident, it's
the value you get.

Speaker 5 (01:39:56):
You know which one is the do you think is
the best value? There's only one correct answer.

Speaker 4 (01:40:01):
I think the best for me the list that I have,
I would say the Arizona Cardinals because the value is there,
like the plus money payout is there. But why what's
your your best?

Speaker 5 (01:40:13):
This is the cheapest price the Chiefs have been to
win a division in eight years.

Speaker 4 (01:40:16):
Oh there you go. Yeah, minus one twenty is.

Speaker 5 (01:40:19):
Like I want to stress. I want to make this point. Guys,
the Chiefs are better on offense this season. I can't
stress this enough. There they're healthy. They played fifteen games
last season with no Ray Rice. Yeah, no Highwood Brown,
thirty four year old Travis Kelce.

Speaker 4 (01:40:39):
You know what's funny, Jo, If you're worthy, I'll say
you're real quick and I'm not cutting you off. I'm
adding to this. We know what's so funny is how
your brain works differently between players that are injured and
free agents. Okay, so Rashi Rice played three games, was
injured pretty much the whole year. Hollywood Brown nicked up
all year. Imagine if they picked both of those guys

(01:41:01):
up via free agency, It's like your brain would work differently.
Damn rush she Rice. They have Hollywood Brown with Xavier Worthy,
whoa look out. Getting those guys back from injury works
the same way. It's just it doesn't compute in your
brain the same way. That's funny, how that goes? All right,
we've got it. Yeah, We've got Bill Brackenberger, professional sports handicapper.

(01:41:22):
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian no Hey.

It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by BETMGM. It

(01:42:27):
baseball on the mind, Football on the brain, baseball on
the mind. Okay, it's like your proporsal, your food. Nothing touches,
it's different descriptions. Your biggest surprise thus far, we're almost
at the All Star break. You could go team, you
could go individual player. What surprised you the most so far?
Schwartz syndicate.

Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
Probably the Blue Jays. I just anyone thought the Blue
Jays would be at the top of the FC East.
I mean, look, the Tigers are surprised too, but look
at some of their players, and it's not surprise.

Speaker 4 (01:42:58):
What like ball on the brain, you said, blue Jays
on the AFC East. It was beautiful right there.

Speaker 5 (01:43:04):
Ale East.

Speaker 4 (01:43:05):
Nothing wrong with nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 5 (01:43:07):
I love that alias Yankees of scuffled a little bit. Yankees, man,
they had fifteen straight games go under and then like, yeah,
twelve straight games go over. I will say I almost
quit Sports Wagering. After that, Yankees come back the other
night against the Mariners, which to be on the side

(01:43:31):
of the one in three hundred and seventy five games.
When the record is one and three and seventy four,
it feels pretty awful. That was for those who missed it.
The Mariners are up five to nothing through seven. There
were no hitting the Yankees through seven innings. Who got
the first out of the eighth inning, bottom of the
eighth innings. They then allowed three runs in the eighth innings,

(01:43:53):
so five to three, two and the ninth and then
won the tenth.

Speaker 2 (01:43:57):
To lost six, six to five.

Speaker 5 (01:43:59):
Teams in the same situation had won three hundred and
seventy three games, and that and that and that spot
did not did not win. So to me, it really
is the Blue Jays Again. The Tigers have a lot
of sort of young pieces that they've sort of been
waiting for this to emerge, right, Tarco said, obviously like Green,
like they have these guys that have been it's been

(01:44:21):
a little formula a little bit, right, and now it's
hitting this season the Blue Jays. I don't think anyone
saw this coming. Brian.

Speaker 2 (01:44:29):
The combination of of a couple of things here, I
have two different ones. It's gonna sound like square ball.
I mean, you know, Joe public Is is more probably
shocked about this than than me. But I still think
the Yankees struggles this past month has been probably one
of the biggest surprises. They had such a hot, hot
start to the season, looked like they were going to
run away with a division, but this last month been

(01:44:50):
a struggle. And then the second part of it. Why
I said square ball. The Dodgers still a favorite to
win the NL, of course, but they've lost six straight
games twice in the last month, which which that has
to be surprising to see. Uh, you know, for for
Joe Publics if it's actually a little bit surprising to
see even for me, for both of these things happening. Yeah,

(01:45:11):
two big favorites to win the World Series, So it
is too.

Speaker 5 (01:45:15):
Make go for the Dodgers. That's that's why I wouldn't
be surprised if they're calling around trying to get some
some pitching.

Speaker 4 (01:45:21):
I would go. And I hear your argument, Jeff on
the Tigers. I still would go with the Tigers as
my biggest surprise because even though they've got the young
talent and it was heading in the right direction this
deep into the season, almost at the break. For them
to have a better record than everybody, I was not
expecting to add, and most people were. They're on pace

(01:45:41):
for one hundred and six wins. That's a ton.

Speaker 5 (01:45:44):
Yeah, it does feel like an All Star break under
wager for the win total might end up in my
in my in my account. I just it's hard to
see this continue and the way it has. But look,
they got good pitching, not just with uh with, but
they struggled a tiny bit. Were they basically dominate the Guardians.

(01:46:04):
That's been a big part of their success.

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
His disappointment, by the way, Yeah, Guardians for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:46:10):
You know, it's it's total sin. Is it amaze.

Speaker 2 (01:46:13):
How he pronounced it?

Speaker 5 (01:46:14):
Wise, Yeah, he's been good this year as well. I mean,
so they've had more than Schooble. But yeah, I think
that that's I think league wise, no one saw this coming.

Speaker 4 (01:46:24):
How about a player, you know, how about I say
cal Raley myself, thirty eight home runs? The big dumper
is doing his thing. Man to have almost forty home
runs at the break and to be leading the majors
in home runs at this point of the season that
was not expected. He's been brilliant.

Speaker 5 (01:46:40):
He's there has to be him, right, That's that's the answer.
I don't I can't imagine anyone else. Yeah, I mean
Crow Armstrong, I mean is that is that?

Speaker 4 (01:46:48):
Yeah, that's a decent one. He's been. He's been fantastic,
no doubt.

Speaker 5 (01:46:53):
War of four it's going to be five point four
this season. I probably those guys I would have imagine
would would be up there. I mean the highest War
this season is gonna I would imagine Judge, right, Yeah,
it's Judge, the crom shown the cal Rawley paying you
for Houston, Bobby Witt being up there as a gear

(01:47:14):
for the Royals as well. So James Wood surprise James
Wood surprise six in the league in War.

Speaker 4 (01:47:20):
Yeah, yeah, sure. How about this though, Crack? You know
you two, Jeff, not a surprise whatsoever. But I know
you're a big Aaron Judge guy Crack in particular. But
he just got to three hundred and fifty home runs
last night in the fewest amount of games. So he
was at one thousand and eighty eight. Mark McGuire was

(01:47:40):
at one thousand, two hundred. Wan Gonzalez was at twelve
ninety eight and a rod Alex Rodriguez at thirteen oh one.
So judge the fewest amount of games to get the
three hundred and fifty home runs. And what's crazy is
think about the the Royden guys on this list as
far no air League was gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:47:59):
Be my point absolutely. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not a Maguire fan.
He's just not a nice person either, But uh, these
guys are under different situations here. You look at this kid.
This this this kid is just mister New York. I mean,
he's un I can't even fathom that they actually, I
think I said a couple of weeks ago on the show,
how come the Yankees even like, you know, you know,

(01:48:21):
mess with him a little bit and say, ah, you know, yeah,
we haven't given him a contract yet. Seattle was offering
him a lot of money, like the Giants.

Speaker 5 (01:48:28):
Giants.

Speaker 2 (01:48:29):
Giants that was Giants, Ye, that's right, Giants.

Speaker 5 (01:48:31):
And this is this is why I think for his career,
stay in New York is super important. He won for
the marketing stuff, but two that he plays in the
tiny stadium. I was watching the Giants last night. Yeah,
Devers was up in the places loaded. That's he hit
a ball that's in a home run every other ballpark
except Francisco. He was hit four point fifteen right center field.

(01:48:51):
And you can tell us he's like, oh, like, what
am I doing? Grand slam Giants scope four to two,
probably win the game in the end, and instead it's
a long sackfly Giants flow's two to one. You know that.
You know, of course, a lot of Judges home runs
are very far, but there are some that are Yankee
Stadium home runs. And so in the end, you had
seven hundred home runs. No one cares, no one's he

(01:49:13):
had seventeen that were Yankee stadium home runs.

Speaker 4 (01:49:16):
How about this? So it's a couple of other nuggets
on Aaron Judge thirty five home runs this season. That's
the most before the All Star break in Yankees history.
When you say the most in Yankees history, that means
a lot more than many other franchises. It just does.
And also one hundred and twenty five hits this season.
That's the second most by a Yankees player before the

(01:49:36):
All Star break. That's the thing with Judge, man, he's
not like, what was it like Adam Dunn, right, I
remember he was swinging from the heels and he did
a bunch of home runs and his average would be
like two hundred. Aaron Judge is hitting for power and average.
He's got one hundred and twenty five hits. It's not
just all home runs. So he's phenomenal, man, he's phenomenal.

(01:49:57):
My god, someone else who's phenomenal. Know where I'm going here?
Hopefully it's Yonick Centner here today as I'm watching breakfast
at Wimbledon, but it is Isaac Lowen Crawn with the latest.
I low what is going on?

Speaker 9 (01:50:09):
Indeed, that's right where we're starting. The men's singles final
at Wimbledon. One seed Yonix Center just underway against two
seed Carlos Acaraz.

Speaker 2 (01:50:17):
Let's check in.

Speaker 4 (01:50:18):
Saves hot at the body and that was too hot
to handle for Yadick Center. His return goes into the nets.
No great surprises so far here on the Wimbledon radio channel.

Speaker 5 (01:50:29):
Three absorbing games each won by the server.

Speaker 1 (01:50:31):
It's alcoraz two one.

Speaker 9 (01:50:33):
Some British guy with the call on radio Wimbledon. Center
just even up the first set. So Center and acaraze
tied two to two in the opening set of the
men's singles final at Wimbledon, and Major League Baseball On
Saturday night, Jackson Merrill of the San Diego Padres a
two home runs at a five to four win over
Philadelphia Angels over Arizona ten to five, might trout four RBI,

(01:50:57):
including the three hundred and ninety fifth home run his career. However,
in a losing cause, Arizona's Auhanio Suarez hit two home runs.
He now has thirty one on the season. In Major
League Soccer. On Saturday night, Leonel Messi added to his
MLS record by scoring multiple goals in five consecutive matches.
He scored both goals in Miami's two to one win

(01:51:19):
over Nashville SC. Here's how the second sounded. Courtesy of
Ken Levica on WESP.

Speaker 5 (01:51:25):
Willis given right to Messy be ave the bats.

Speaker 10 (01:51:27):
He's not gonna miss the messy Pistar just longing up
to force the turnover bits a fifth straight match with
a price Perlonettle.

Speaker 5 (01:51:37):
Missy here was not a platter.

Speaker 4 (01:51:42):
Back to you guys there, it is Messy man. I
think of him every single time I had a prop
bet on Messi. During the World Cup. He was brilliant.
Argentina won the whole thing, but he had a penalty
kick against Poland, and he just had to make this.
I needed Argentina to score a goal in the first half.
I thought, I bet on them to score the first

(01:52:02):
goal of the match. Turns out I bet on them
to score the first goal of the first half, okay,
And so I need them to hit this penalty shot.
And my girlfriend's with me, She's like, you ready to win.
She's all about being positive. I'm like, yeah, let's call
MESSI airmails it way way over the goal, not even close.
And so every time I hear MESSI I'm like, yeah,

(01:52:23):
freaking guy came through today again, like he has in
his brilliant career, not that game against Poland, the one
time I needed him. So every time I think about that.
The joys of gambling, right.

Speaker 5 (01:52:34):
It's always fun. I'm watching this match right now, guys.
I find these little things so interesting about tennis, like
the ball, the tennis ball boys, the way they like
they're so like official.

Speaker 4 (01:52:46):
With how they move, they're so official.

Speaker 5 (01:52:48):
It's like, and you know they throw. They throw four
tennis balls to to Alcatraz. He takes two, and then
Siddy takes three balls and throws one away, puts them
in the pocket. That's fine, that's holding fascinating. I will
say though about you, but wearing all white would not
be good for me. I would not fit in well
here if I was wearing all white like these, like
these tennis stars are.

Speaker 2 (01:53:09):
I made that comment a couple of weeks ago on
vsen Real tough to go in wearing a white or
bright blue kind of looks like a maybe like one
of the Macy's Thanksgiving the parade floats there by the
way away from it.

Speaker 4 (01:53:25):
It makes me think crack. I just had a flashback, Jeff.
We did a show you, me and rich Orenberger we
got to fill in for Cowherd a couple of years ago,
and you and rich both said a certain number as
an offensive lineman looks terrible. What number is that again?

Speaker 5 (01:53:45):
Sixty four?

Speaker 4 (01:53:45):
Probably sixty four looks terrible.

Speaker 5 (01:53:48):
Fit sixty sixty one is to do. Some of the
lower sixty numbers just look sixty four. I mean, there's
been a hall of famers have worn that number. Four.
Branda McDaniel wore the number sixty four. But some of
those numbers just looked they're not a look great.

Speaker 4 (01:54:02):
Yeah, wow, interesting, it's not swimming.

Speaker 5 (01:54:04):
Or I mean, it just it just looks like a
freaking number. You're like sixty four. You know, like, what
both does that say? I wearing the same exact that
the same exact clothes from Nike. And what did I
find soaching about soccer? Not soccer, excuse me? Tennis and golf?
Is how quiet it is right during the actual gameplay sure,

(01:54:25):
and you know how basketball, you're trying to win a
game at the foul line, it's as low as can be, right.

Speaker 4 (01:54:33):
Pressure third and nine to win the game.

Speaker 5 (01:54:36):
I can't hear the snapcount. Yeah, and yet if you
talk at all on golf, you're the worst human ever.
If you make it heap Wimbledon and I you know, I.

Speaker 4 (01:54:46):
Think of boxing or mm A, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:54:48):
We're going I play golf. You know, I'll go up
to the te box. Everyone will be quiet. Buddy of
mine I play with all the time. If if if
we match it with a random two song, He's like,
just keep talking. He doesn't care. I find it I
too weird when it's quiet, Please keep talking making noise.
Play music. Went about to swing a golf club.

Speaker 4 (01:55:06):
By the way, Sinner broke them. So it's got a
three to two lead in the first set. Yeah, I
almost switched my pick. I hope this doesn't cost me
in the parlay player, right, have Vianik winning the sinner winning.
I almost switched it to first set win because he's
got to start strong, has to.

Speaker 2 (01:55:22):
He just gave up.

Speaker 5 (01:55:23):
First set is the first like, like you know, he
went for you to be up one. Nothing is au
after the first set.

Speaker 4 (01:55:29):
That's yeah, well that yeah, that's uh. I almost switched
it to that pick. But we're going with him to
win the matchy love now, yeah, I was looking good
so far. A real fast, super fast, like a minute
robot umps coming to the All Star Game. Don't let
it's the worst in that it's the worst description. It's
just replay. It's replaying balls and strikes. That's it. I

(01:55:51):
don't know why you call it robot. I literally thought
there was going to be a robot, as many people did.
It's the worst description ever. I like it. You don't
like this, Jeff, Why don't you like it?

Speaker 5 (01:55:59):
I like so. I thought it was actual robots. I
liked Minor League games have this. They have it a Charlotte.
When I go, the guy taps a tok of his
helmet fifteen seconds. The reviews and that I like that. Okay,
that's totally fine, Fine with that.

Speaker 4 (01:56:13):
Yeah, now I'm fine with it too. As as long as
it's fast, go for.

Speaker 2 (01:56:16):
It element you do. Yeah, I know people will tune
in just to see how the robot ups work or stuff,
but nah, give me the human element.

Speaker 4 (01:56:25):
You love the ball that's called a strike to end
the game.

Speaker 2 (01:56:28):
I'm not kind of saying that, but.

Speaker 4 (01:56:31):
Yeah, maybe as long as it's fast, I'm cool. Like
we're talking about tennis, Tennis replay is the best because
it's so fast. Like if you can get balls and
strikes to be reviewed that fast, I'm fine. I'm fine
with it. Hey, we've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff's Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian know
by the way, Seal is at Wimbledon.

Speaker 5 (01:56:54):
He is, oh, very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:56:56):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (01:56:56):

(01:58:18):
we've got some picks to make. Let's do it ramid
fire all right, crack, we start with you. What's something
you like?

Speaker 2 (01:58:27):
Well, well, I'm gonna go to I think I mentioned
this on the program before, but now we only have
seven weeks away again, Minnesota Vikings the only one and
a half in the world. That's why you have to
have bet MGM in your arsenal Minnesota week one, seven
weeks away Monday, September eighth, Minnesota plus one and a
half Monday Night Football versus the Bears plus one and

(01:58:51):
a half minus one point fifteen only at bet MGM.

Speaker 5 (01:58:54):
All right, Oh like it?

Speaker 2 (01:58:56):
I get it, now, get it out, because it's not
gonna be game time. They will not be underdone.

Speaker 5 (01:59:02):
I think I agree there first three innings under one
and a half runs Dodgers and Giants. Giants just don't
score runs, and Dodgers are facing I think raised pitching.
I have that right race pitching today for the Giants.
So I liked the under there early in that game,
before we get into the bullpens.

Speaker 4 (01:59:20):
I kind of like the Yeah, I like the under
in that game too. Collectively, I was looking at that, Jeff,
where let's see if it's still the same number seven
half it went down to seven and a half. You
can still That's what I love with bet MGM. You
can mess with the spreads if you don't they ticked
down to seven and a half. If you don't like that,
you don't have to pass on the game. You can
still just go to the spreads tab and you can

(01:59:42):
get it at eight where it previously was. You could
bump it up to eight and a half if that
makes you more comfortable. But I like the under in
that game. Yeah, I'm a moto going. You know your
Giants can't score, Jeff. They're offensively challenged and the Dodgers
have been rough lately, so Robbie raised more than capable
of pitching. Well, I'm gonna go hot off the press.
Is Summer League a little bit. Three games are posted

(02:00:04):
right now in bet MGM. I'm gonna go with your
Atlanta Hawks, Jeff and the Ruins. Give me over one
to eighty three and a half. The Suns they just
scored over one hundred. You're scoring over one hundred in
the Summer League game. That's a lot of offense. They
just scored one o three against the Wizards. Hawks just
scored one oh five against the Heat, both teams scoring
in the hundreds their last game. I'll take the over

(02:00:26):
one eighty three in this one. Hawks have a pretty
good roster. So like that play. Let's get to Cracks
play of the day.

Speaker 2 (02:00:32):
Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (02:00:33):
Hey, this is the best play of the day.

Speaker 4 (02:00:39):
All right, crack, what is it?

Speaker 2 (02:00:41):
Let's go baseball today? Astros Rangers under seven minus a
dollar eighteen on bet MGM Astros Rangers under. And then
everyone enjoy your All Star break and enjoy it with
the family. It's a nice time out, a little break
for everybody. Get to watch some games and yeah, well
we'll be back next week. Football is right around the corner.

Speaker 4 (02:01:01):
Yeah, what are you gonna do during the break? Crack
firing w NBA bets?

Speaker 2 (02:01:05):
Nah, just chill, probably chill, go to the casino a
little bit, maybe even play a game of poker, which
I usually don't.

Speaker 4 (02:01:11):
Wow, look at any bubble craps.

Speaker 2 (02:01:13):
You're gonna do. No bubble craps in my future.

Speaker 4 (02:01:16):
How about the electric Ponies?

Speaker 2 (02:01:18):
That was That was awesome, man.

Speaker 4 (02:01:21):
We went on a pony crawl. We hit about thirteen casinos,
lost a little bit of change, but it was fun,
not bad at all, good experience,
