Sports talk's biggest stars Paulie & Tony Fusco tell you what EVERYONE IS GETTING WRONG about the so-called "spitting" incident between Jalen Carter and Dak Prescott in that predictable loss by the Dallas Cowboys to the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Plus, they once again defend Jalen Hurts from the attacks from fools, and give their official Eagles season prediction.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
All right, alright you I mean to your life from Philly.
It's the Tony Fosco NFL Reaction Show Yo as always
Pauli fools Go Hair with Tony Foolsco and Tony Win
on Thursdays, taking Week one against the Cowboys to nobody's surprised,

(00:26):
but of course, controversy surrounding the game, the Jalen Catta
spitting incident. You know, people have a lot to say
about this. Of course they're all wrong. We're going to
clear it all up, get to the facts, tell you
what really happened. But you know, you got to make
sure before all that you hit like and subscribe on
the YouTube US on the pod. That way you get

(00:48):
all these reaction episodes exactly right when they post, you know,
which happens whenever we feel like it, you know, sometimes
sometimes not whatever. Anyway, Look, we don't work around your schedule. Okay,
So anyway, where's gonna to stay on schedule? Now there's
a lot to get do. You're ready, Tony, Let's do
it all right, Let's get right into an NFL reaction

(01:10):
all right, first, darn obviously, the big story Jalen Karna
getting thrown out of the game, early for you know,
quote unquote spitting on Doc Prescott. Okay, you know, people,
they've watched the footage over and nova, they're jump into
conclusions left and right as usual. But you know, just
because yeah, you know, you may have seen you a
fluid leaving Jalen's mouth and traveling on through Doc's face. Well,

(01:33):
that doesn't necessarily mean, you know that he should be
punished exactly. Isn't that right, Donty?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
First of all, why isn't anyone blaming Dak here?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
He was the one who spit first.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
You know, people are saying he aimed his spit at
the ground, But look at the law. If someone shoots
a gun but doesn't shoot at you, but near you,
the law says that's still illegal. That's a warning shot.
It's clear Dak Prescott fired off a warning spit. So
by my legal analysis, Jalen Carter was within his constitutional

(02:09):
rights to self defense and also spit defense.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yep, just terrific legal analysis that, Dody. And uh, you know,
also we're hearing that Jalen Cattera isn't even the person
most responsible for this, right.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Dony, No, My sources tell me this was all a misunderstanding.
After Dak spit on the ground, someone else told Jalen
to say something back and said, tit for tat. But
because it was so loud in the stadium, all Jalen
heard was not tit for tat but spit on Dak again.

(02:46):
Just a simple clear misunderstanding.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
There's a simple misunderstanding, that's what it was. You know,
by the way, are we even sure that Jalen Carter
was spitting? You know, it's a great question, you know,
because you know, how do we know Jalen Carter doesn't
just have a speech impass exactly? I know a lot
of baba who spit when they talk, don't listen.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
How do we know that he didn't simply say nice
play and that the p L sound causes spit to
come out? You know, I spit just as I said
that right now? Does that mean I should be thrown
off the show?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
No? No, of course, you know exactly, great point, Dowdy.
You know, look at baseball, right everybody in the whole
game they're spitting all that's all they do. If they
threw out people for spitting, well, there would be no players.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
There would be no baseball ex exactly. And and think
about DNA tests too. You have to spit in order
to get DNA. So if we shame people for spitting,
then there'll be no DNA tests, and then you'll have
a bunch of criminals going around getting away with murder
and you won't even be able to walk down the
street without getting killed.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
So, if you ask me, spitting.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Is what's protecting all the society from total mayhem.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Just such valuable perspective that, Doughty. And now you know
another thing these people morons are saying. They're saying that
it was stupid of Jalen Carter to get thrown out
so early in the game because he's a you know,
a star player. But that was actually the right move
when you break it down, wasn't it, Doty.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Absolutely, the Eagles were playing the Cowboys. They don't need
all this star players. They could have won that game
with the practice squad. Frankly, it was so small of
Jalen Carter to get ejected. He knew that next week
we played the Chiefs, so this way he can be rested,

(04:37):
even though that's an easy game too.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Just spot on analysis that, Doty, And well let's move
to the other Jalen in this game, Jalen Hurts, who
had door rushing touchdowns. But of course this brings out
the eighty gets out of the woodwork that to say that.
You know, they're saying Jalen Hurts is once again relying
too much on his feet. Please, but we told you
a clearer explanation for that. His arm was tired from

(05:03):
carrying the Super Bowl trophy all off season right downy.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Of course, you know we saw this before with Nick Foles.
He also struggled after winning the Super Bowl because his
arm was so tired from holding up the Lombardi Trophy
and while you know, he also had to lift some
other heavy equipment. You know, if you catch my drift,
absolutely that Dony and uh yeah, well you know, we

(05:29):
got a lot of blowback last week because you know,
we said that we picked Jalen Hurts first in our
fantasy draft.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Well, you know, because a lot of people they say
that you should draft a running back first in fantasy. Yeah,
well that's why we drafted Jalen Hurt. Exactly. I mean,
what do we always say, we believe in Dony physician fluid,
there you go, exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
You know, we don't think a player should be known
just by the position they were assigned in college. They
should have the freedom to experiment with other position identity.
And that's why we support O would trans quarterback slash
running back.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Just so beautifully said that, Tony, And well, now to
the Cowboys side of the game. Yeah, you know, the
Cowboys receive a CD. Lamb, Well, he's taking a lot
of heat because he dropped a lot of passes in
the loss. But Tony, you can easily see what went
wrong here, can't you.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Of course, it's easy to see why Ceedee Lamb dropped
those passes. You know, he was so surprised that Dak
actually threw the ball to him and not the Eagles defenders. Yo, y,
I mean we saw that last season when Mark Andrews
dropped the pass in the end zone from Lamar Jackson.
Mark Andrews was like, wait, I can't believe Lamar is

(06:44):
actually being clutching the playoffs and not totally sucking like usual.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
And then he dropped the ball as anyone would. As
anyone would of course. Of course. You know, by the way,
another thing, Donny, what's going on with this stopping games
because of lightning?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I mean god, how soft has our country be? Cup unbelieved.
I don't remember them stopping games due to lightning in
the eighties and nineties, do you. No, of course not.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
They would have played through it because they were tough
back then. I mean, who could forget the famous thunderstorm
game down in Miami in nineteen eighty six when the
Dolphins and the Jets played a hurry up offense the
entire second half because they were afraid of getting killed,
and in the end only a handful of people wound
up getting hospitalized and or dying. But you know, at

(07:34):
least the game ended at a reasonable hour, so everybody
could go home and get their eight hours of sleep.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, just another side of how terrible and crumbling our
society has become. Absolutely you know, if you saw it
on Dick docor Instagram the other night, because we're sure
you follow us there or you know you would not
do that. No, you're not that dumb, hopefully No. Anyway,
Thursday night, before the game, all right, it was before
the game. You could check the dime stamp of whatever

(08:00):
looking out Our official Eagles season prediction already going viral
right when we speak for its clear one hundred per accuracy. Anyway,
you know, We're gonna do it right here on the show. Okay,
you know, just so you can see it, right, so
you don't come back to it, yes the end of
the season. Go oh, you know, I didn't know you
said one. Yeah, yeah, all right, So here we go.

(08:22):
It's our official twenty twenty five Eagles season prediction. Tonty,
you ready, let's do it? Okay? Well, Week one against
the Cowboys, you know, just another easy, predictable win. All right. Well,
then Week do against the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I've seen this one before. It's like a rerun win
all right.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Week three versus the Los Angeles Rams.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
All I heard was lost by the Rams. Win for
the Eagles, all right. Week four at the Bucks, we're.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Gonna cut off their todd balls. Win. Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Week five versus Denver. I like Denver here to lose.
Eagles win.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Okay. Week six at the Giants the.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Games that met life, where the Giants will have met death.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Win. Okay. Week seven at the Vikings, they're gonna.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Yell skull as in my skull hurts from getting bashed
in win all right. Week eight at home versus the Giants,
win by four five Okay. Week nine is a bye
win for us. Rest and relaxation is always good.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
All right.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Week ten at Green Bay, Oh, they got Micah Paarson's
doesn't matter. Win Week eleven versus the Lions.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
We'll win, but our call will probably also get stolen,
So win, but a sad win.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yep, all right. Week twelve at the Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Dak will be injured by then, so Joe Milton will
be starting, which means the game will be a lot closer,
but still win.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yep. Week thirtday in versus the Bears, we'll win by
seven touchdowns. Week fourteen at the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Jim Harbass still trying to figure out how to cheat
in the NFL, but he won't have figured it out
by then.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Eagles win. Week fifteen versus the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Kenny Pickett will be a formidable foe, but having the
Super Bowl winning QB like him isn't enough. Eagles win
all right. The week six day at the Commanders. Hmm,
this is a tough one for the Commanders, of course.
Eagles win yep.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Week seventheen at Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
This will be a tough environment to play in for
the Bills, of course, win.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Okay, And finally, Week eight day in verse the commanders.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
We're probably going to be resting our starters by then,
so this is going to be a close one. We'll win,
but only by twenty seven points.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
And there you go. It's an official twenty twenty five
Eagle season prediction. Seventeen and oh bookt there you go.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Well eighteen and oh if you count the bye week,
great point, dan doty eighteen and oh.

Speaker 1 (11:15):

you should go get that right now. And you know

our merch storey. You hold on? Are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Jalen Carter may have spit on deck because he has
a speech impediment.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Yeah, bro, explains it all, Bro.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Yeah, No, I've heard Jalen Carter talk. He doesn't have
an impediment. He deserves to be ejected.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Oh yeah, well you deserve to be ejected from living.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah, and you want to know the worst ejection any
one's ever seen When you came out of your mom.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Used to show keep it dice anyway. Oh, we got
big nose coming up. This week Tony for our weekly show,
