Speaker 4 (00:45):
Oh what is going on? Welcome in Happy Sunday Ka,
Happy week ten to you. How about that were in
double digits already. I'll tell you what. The fireworks are
underway in Berlin here. No one told the Colts and
the Falcons this is an international game and there's not
supposed to be a toy. You know, you got points
(01:05):
all over the place here, Jonathan Taylor in the end zone,
Tyler l Geer in the end Alec Pierce just caught
a bomb. He's in the end zone. Another one that's right.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Another one another one.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
It was just the kicker. The Colts kicker missed the
extra point. He was the only guy. Think, you know,
he's the only guy's not scoring over here so far.
But man, we're underway in Germany here, a lot of
fireworks going on. Good morning, Jeff, Good morning, crack Jeff.
I'll tell you what, man, you talk about the sweat
of sweats with your beloved Oregon Ducks getting past Iowa,
(01:41):
their playoff hopes are still alive. I'm imagining you sweated
off a good twenty five pounds. Yeah, yesterday, it was
a crazy game for you, man, it was.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
It was crazy. I look, you guys know me. I
want less penalties, less flags, less efficiating, right who buddy?
That tested everything in my power of that game. That was.
That was quite a game and to win that way. Look,
(02:13):
yesterday reports started surfing surfacing, well actually Saturday night now
about injuries to Organs best players during this game. And
you know a lot of we had this earlier this
year actually where there was a rumor that our best
wide receiver was hurt before a game and it didn't happen.
It wasn't true. So I didn't know what to believe.
(02:33):
And then you hear that our wide receiver one is
going to be out, our tight end one is going
to be as a first round pick. And then you
hear that, you know, oh, our right tackle is going
to be out. We're off for bye. We're off a bye.
All these guys are hurt. They got hurt during bye week.
And then you hear a running back speed up, and
so they didn't play. None of them played our back. Dad,
I didn't actually end up playing in that game. And
(02:55):
you know, so you just you we played sort of
Iowa was Iowa game man, and we wanted playing Iowa's game.
So a lot of fun obviously to get that win
and uh on to the next one. Man, you know,
it was uh good good.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
You just just to.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
I know, I'm a homer. I get it. People are
like I love other Internet's like you're are you an
analyst or at homer. I'm a homer. That's why I
went to Organ. I'm a homer. Crack. I root for
my ducks. You know, just all week, like hearing how
the weather and the Big ten and the weather, how
how go Organ playing the weather? And the saw? How
soft is Organ in the weather and the west Coast
Soft Organ. Even even the telecast yesterday, it was like, wow,
(03:39):
Organ's defense, like, can you can actually shed some some
blockers there? Make some play? Yes, yes, have you watched
Organ play for Dan Landing? It's what we do. We
watched for two seventy on a team that averages like
give up two yards of carry crack. So I just
had to defend Organ like it's just enough of the
Organs Soft hasn't been that team in the years. Can
we stop with that? Please?
Speaker 6 (03:58):
Yeah? Yeah, no, Uh listen, there was It was when
you text us Russell and I. I wasn't watching the game,
so I didn't even realize what the spread was in
the game. So I knew it was going to be
a tough game anyway, I would think. But Oregon a
tough win there. Verse High was some nasty weather conditions
other things around the league byu and the number seventeen
(04:21):
got dominated a really good Texas Tech team number fourteen. Fourteen.
Virginia loses to Waken a close one. The Uvas start.
They have a good quarterback though. My right hand man,
his dad's a retired professor from UVA, so they followed
that team really good. He was telling me how good
the quarterback was. And I know he got knocked out
(04:42):
with a concussion early and that one maybe even a
dirty hit while he was sliding, so he had a concussion.
So that there's another one. Like you said it was Oregon.
That was a good game. I thought about it when
I seen the final score. When you said that, I
was happy for you. So also, one of the best
catchers I've ever seen, a crystal spill.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
So we talk about that crack that that catch was.
I know we like to say like and Joel Klatt
tried his best to not be like that greatest catch
I've ever seen.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Like a pregnant pot. It's the best catch, all right,
let me rein it in the moment. This is all right, Joe, Okay, but.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Let's talk about the situation. Okay, So Penn State scores
to go ahead, all right, The Indian has a playoff
team winner losing that game. That they are is their
schedule and whatnot. But if they lose that game, you know,
we might drop down a peg. They hadn't played really
well in the second half outcomes. Bendoz gets sacked like
the first play of that two minutes drow no timeouts
(05:46):
doesn't matter, bing bang boom, and then they get down
to the low red zone. All Penn State does is
run zero. They're just pressuring him as fast as they
can and he gets hit by two guys throws them
up in the back of the end zone. The cam
work was incredible by Fox, great job. He catches the
ball and you could see his head looking down at
his feet and somehow that first foot just did touch
(06:08):
the ground and the second foot hit the ground and
the referee credited him a great call. And the moment
like that play in the moment and what that meant
for just Indiana and the Mendoza's Heisman campaign, and you
want to say about that, it's just a great sports moment.
It was unbelievable. Was so well executed by everyone. Penn
(06:28):
State didn't do anything wrong, like like that's the thing
about it too. They did their job. The job was
well done, but everyone involved and it was a great,
great football ending crack. It was unbelievable. And Indiana is
a playoff team, ohouse, it's a playoff team. Now A
and m Bama like we sort of I think have
the playoff Old miss and we have like sort of
(06:49):
a good chunk of playoff teams now just figuring out
probably Texas Tech, like where the other ones are called.
The Irish played well yesterday. They covered for me in
the contest. Thank you Notre Dame for that one. And
you know, a good, good contest day yesterday, But nowhere
near the front, Like I'm like fifty five percent of
the contest crack, I'm like one hundredth It's like the
silliest thing ever. It's like, this is so funny how
(07:10):
it works.
Speaker 6 (07:10):
Yeah, yeah, that was.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
That was an outstanding catch. Thankfully Gus Johnson is still
with us. Gus almost melted down with that. That was unbelievable.
Great call by him. He's like, ah my gosh, I
was having the big one, it seemed like, but uh
it was.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Worth it though. That was worth the call. That was.
That was I think sometimes he gets a little too excited,
but for that play. Yeah, and what I think what
it meant for Indiana, Like, you know, this is their
back to back ten win seasons. Now, you know you
I don't know if he isn't gonna win championship. I think,
Ohiose is still the best team in the country. But
to make that play in that moment. They really hadn't
(07:51):
had that moment this season. They were up against Oregon
for most of the game, right, they hadn't had you know,
against against Iowa. I guess they had the late touchdown,
but it didn't feel as big as that moment. But
to go down the field on the road, it's still
a good Penn State defense in my opinion, with no timeouts.
It just was so well done. Like you need those
on the way to championships. So when you look back
(08:12):
and teams with championships, those are type of plays that
that that that that they make.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
I can just picture everybody betting on other Heisman winners,
right just being like Gus no just you know, you
gotta tie Simpson pocket uh ticket in your pocket and
you're like Gus, Gus chill on the give him the
heis and here's the call on the Fox. Check this out.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
As an it's the Heisman from Mendoza. Is what interesting
because it's like he he that was his Heisman moment
he had. He needed one of those. But he's like
sort of unremarkable like as an athlete, like when you
look think about the Heisman winner as a quarterback, there's
like a spark they have as an athlete. He doesn't
(09:09):
have that. You know, the recent Heisman winner is a quarterback.
It's it's interesting dynamic work. Even Ty sims doesn't really
have that either.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
Yeah, and but.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
There's no one else like who's who also winning the
Heisman right now, those are the only two guys that
dan Viae Moore is not winning. None of the other
presets and guys we thought are gonna win. I think
the answer Julian saying, by the way, I think Julian
Sanson win the Heisman from Ohio State. They're gonna they're
gonna beat Indiana in the big the chance of game.
The winner of that game wins the Heisman. Essentially, I
think that's the way it's gonna happen, unless you know,
of course Ty Simpson plays well against A and M
(09:38):
and or something like that. But man like, it's it's
a weird Heisman year, Like there's not really like a
guy where you feel like that great about mm hmm.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Normally you see a progression, right, you see a lot
more athleticism from quarterbacks these days, And you're right, like
recent Heisman guys like just I think, off the top
of my head, like RG three, Vince Young, right, bring
a lot to the table with your legs, right, and
these guys don't. So yeah, it is. It's different. And listen,
Mendoza and and Ty Simpson are incredibly effective. I'm not
(10:14):
saying you have to be able to have that. You
know that that part of your game to be effective today.
We've had those discussions for a while. Do you get
is the drop back quarterback dead? Is it a dinosaur?
It's like, no, man, if you at the NFL level,
if you can drop back and throw darts all over
the field, there's going to be a spot for you.
I don't know why we continue to have those discussions,
(10:34):
but look at Matthew Stafford. He's ripping up the league.
You think he's like a gazelle back there, come on, like.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
It's crazy, he's the I think, yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Well he's yeah, he's twenty one touchdowns, two picks. Like
you know, if you can spray the ball around like that,
there's going to be a home for you. Yeah, there
always will be. But you're right though, the heightsman, it's
a little bit different, you know, the little field a
little different feel to it. This year. How about you know,
we have to We've been waxing poetic about IU and
(11:04):
all that. How about the opposite, which is BYU in
Virginia and you talk about frauds being exposed, Are you
kidding me? Like Virginia losing at home to Wake Forest, Like,
come on, they've had overtime games left, same thing, same
thing with.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Louis was nineteen points Cal. Uh, they see yesterday had
a rough one, man, like you think about they were
ranked fourteenth, the highest a SEC member and everyone's sort
of like, why why is that? Like that's why they
lost home to Cal Louisville did Virginia scored nine points
and lost to Wake. So one thing that I talk
about when the playoffs come out, that like the rankings
(11:43):
come out, is is And obviously we don't talk throughout
the week, but the thing is that it feels real
now and that I think affects a lot of teams
because you know it doesn't early on in a season
when you're playing well, yeah, you're ranked whatever, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, fourteen,
(12:04):
and yet you do think about as a player naturally
in a program, Okay, we keep winning, we keep winning.
What happens to us?
Speaker 7 (12:10):
Right?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Where are we going? To be at. But when the
first rankings come out, it actually feels real, right because
now the committee's telling you, the people in charge of
deciding where you're going to be ranked, and if you're
making the playoffs are telling you how they feel about you.
And now you have to actually talk about it, think
about it. You have to really think about it now. Okay,
if we're Virginia, we're fourteenth, we win, we win, we win,
(12:30):
We're in. Like you know, you start doing that and
the guy's an organ fan, we're nine. Okay, what do
we have to do to get in? What if you
start thinking about that and players do as well, and
don't pretend they don't, Okay, they absolutely do. So this
is always a week. I feel like we have these
upsets because you are starting to think ahead now and
you can't. You have to think week to week. And
we saw that, I think with Louisville, we saw that
(12:51):
with with Virginia. By you just is been a fraud
all year? Like that's not a surprise. I bet Texas
text that number to talk about where light wing number? Yeah,
we're like CLV. It's kind of funny on this one,
Like we talk about CLV. I mean you could have
gotten BYU at thirteen and a half. Yeah, I got
Tech at ten. Yeah, like it didn't matter at all.
(13:12):
That game was from the beginning, it was very clear
BOU was not covering that game and Texas Tech's defense.
Though we'll talk about man.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Names listen, Texas Tech. This is my favorite stat of
that game. Good b Yu had nine plays in Texas
Tech territory. Texas Tech had forty three plays in BYU territory.
Like it would be downs.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Tech I think had six drives finished when the BYU
twenty five when the kicked the field goal or they
missed on fourteen. I mean this game could have been
a forty five point game for Tech easily.
Speaker 6 (13:43):
Yeah, you know, out of those games though, the clear
upset there, I mean eleven twelve to one favorite Louisville losing.
Cool that that is the is the big upset you're
talking about, Uh, you know, compared to a six and
a half or seven point favorite there in Virginia, and
that is unbelievable. Jeff pointed that out, absolutely correct. Wow,
(14:07):
what a what a big upset that was. I did
not realize that they were that big of an underdom
until Jeff said and I looked. I said, I thought
they were like ten point. Oh wow, that that's a
giant under.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yeah, that was a big because I had a buddy
of mine liked Louisville this week, and I was like,
Cow's the weirdest team. Don't bet on the cow games. Yeah,
like the like they lost this year, thirty six is
nothing to Sineo State.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
They got shut up.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
I think I just did for the game. I know
Hawaii covered last night. Did Hawaii win.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Late Hawaii crush?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Okay, So like the Cow's the oddest. They barely beat
North Carolina, Like it's just an odd team. And so
I was like, stay away from that game, like police,
do not do not bet on that game. I'm glad
they didn't because I I actually like Louisville too. Like
Cows off a pretty bad loss, they're going on the road.
But obviously the other upset last night that I mean, yeah,
(15:00):
and that was sam Houston State. I what, Yeah, it's
not good. But they were twenty and a half point
favorites at homie, it's an eight no Sam Houston State
and they lost. They out gained sam Us State by
three hundred yards.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Yeah, it was like four fifty seven to one. Seventy.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
There was a kickoff one, yeah, kickoff return to start
the second half as Sam Houston took it to the house.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Were you watching?
Speaker 7 (15:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (15:27):
I was watching it. Yeah, there was a There was
a punt return for a touchdown too for Sam Houston.
It was just it.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Oh man. I didn't stay to wait to watch that.
But I mean, I you probably haven't slept it, have you.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
I slept a couple hours.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
You know.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
We're in the heart of ball season. I'll sleep on Mondays.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
I went to a bet at halftime with UC Again,
that's my last bed of the night. I'm not getting
out when I'm going to sleep that I would make
that not going to win that game. So Washington, by
the way, when when we lost to Wisconsin eleven point
underdog there for Wisconsin on that yeah front, I gotta
say some I know people want to fire their coaches,
(16:04):
and we're going to get to comfortable firing season. We've
already had a lot of it. We're gonna get more
of it coming up. And Wisconsin decided to keep Luke Fickle.
I think that was actually the right decision for them,
and they got rewarded by win last night where the
punter was the leading pastor for Wisconsin. The punter had
more yards than the quarterbacks yesterday. But like, you can't
just fire everyone all the time, because when you fire someone,
(16:27):
you have to have someone better. And I think we
all agree Luke Fickle can coach. We've seen him coach,
and you didn't have the right personnel, and is that
certainly and he didn't hire the right oc Like, those
are certainly things that he has to get better at.
But the idea that you're going to fire Luke Fickle
and find someone better is probably the wrong idea. And
they're reinvesting in the program. They're going to investigating better players.
(16:50):
And this is very rare. Right, we want to fire
coaches and we want to I like it Wisconsin. It
might not pay off, I don't know, but I like
what they're doing. Anything more, teams should actually do this.
Let's not fire our guy immediately. Let's let's let's look
at holistically the program and what we're doing right and
doing wrong and can we fix it with the guy
we have.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, it's fair, And I think if you look at
the landscape, there's a difference between Wisconsin thinking that way
and say like Penn State. You know, Penn State's like, hey,
can we can we do better? Like you could probably
your Penn State. If you're Wisconsin and there are all
these major openings in college football this offseason, then your
(17:30):
thought process makes a lot of sense, Jeff. But you know,
if you're another team, like if you're LSU and you're thinking,
can we do better than what Brian Kelly has given
us right now? And their conclusion is yeah, well that's
if it's LSU. It's different than Wisconsin right now. So
I think you got to be aware of who you
are and you know what you bring to the table. Also,
(17:51):
I also.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Think LSU hated Brian Kelly, Like I don't think the
players of Wisconsin hate Luke Fickle. That's a big like,
that's a big thing, like your personality, right, Like you know,
if if people hated me, I don't know how long
I'd be working. You have to be liked, I think
a little bit. And Luke fikel seems very liked. Brian
Kelly did not. And when you're losing and you're not liked, goodbye.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Yeah, no doubt. All right, we're off and running. We've
got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year
NFL veteran, I'm Brian No. Register with BETMGM to get

Speaker 5 (20:02):
In game, Betty, that's right.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
We got a game in Germany right here. Colts ahead
of the Falcons thirteen to seven. Everything going pretty well
for the Colts except their kicking game. Michael Badgley, No
one gave him the bulletin that everyone's hitting like sixty
five yarders with ease. He missed a fifty three yard
field goal. Fifty three We in the nineteen eighties, again,
what's going on here? Missed a fifty three yard field
(20:27):
goal also missed an extra point, so at least four
points left on the field so far by the Colts.
Anything in game that you have your eye on here
betting wise, what do you guys think.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Well, let's give you the line first. So the live
bet MGM line is Colts seven and a half and
the total fifty four and a half. And you know,
anything over a touchdown always sounds like a lot of
points in a live game, when especially that Atlanta has
the ball, let's hear about nine minutes left in the
(20:58):
first half, looks like I'm my odd screen. You know,
I don't like betting in game because sometimes it's it's
it's double the juice. This is this particular MGM is
not actually I know a site in town here that's
minus one twenty on both ways. When when it comes
to live betting, MGM minus a dollar eighteam one way,
(21:19):
minus a dollar ten the other way. I can only
lean to the to the dog in that situation. But
not having it on in the background definitely would hurt me.
I need the game on. I have to see it,
I have to feel it.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
I would be okay it's actually down at the moment
because that Atlanta's on deef is on offense. But Tyson Algier, Oh,
it's back up twenty four and a half rushing yards
over he has fourteen on two carries right now. I
mean Atlanta's gonna if they're in this game, they're gonna
run the football, right and I just think there's an
opportunity to get him over this number as long as
(21:54):
this game, say, if he gets out of hand, I'm
kind of screwed here, but I like that backup running
back to have. You know, we thought about often, right
that the numbers tend to be a lot lower when
you look at what al gr does for them and
how often he gets carries. This feels like a wager
that you know, I looked it back, but we'll see
the man. It's not my favorite.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
What happened right there, Jeff, you have the game on
because they went and went to from seven and a
half up to eight and a half less yesh.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yeah, I think the ball back. I think the land
is about the punt, right, Yeah, it's the time out,
time out of third and nine.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Well yeah it's fourth and nine.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Oh yeah, so you're ahead of me and Brian.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Yeah, maybe, wow, we go what's happened there we go here?
Speaker 6 (22:33):
Yeah, well now it's just cults of the ball.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Oh no, I actually know I'm behind. That's why I
think I'm around it to look at something. So I'm behind. Yeah,
I think they just punted then.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Yeah, Pennix Junior just scrambled around, didn't get went up.
Speaker 6 (22:45):
To nine and a half minus nine and a half
minus a quarter. That's how much your possession means.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
So it was a decent punt return to They'll start
probably around their own twenty eight twenty nine yard line.
Well there's a flag so maybe check all that. But
it's a it's a weird spot for the game, I
think where you know, game script wise, if you think
of the Colts, they've had their way offensively. Let's say
they put it drive together and score a touchdown. Now
twenty to seven. It could start to get out of hand.
(23:13):
But sure, well let's say this is three and out
and the Falcons get the ball right back and right like.
So we're in a weird middle ground phase of you know,
and it trickles down to the prop bets here. If
the Colts score again, you're starting to think of, you know,
maybe backing Drake London and his receiving stats or something
like that. But it's really hasn't been tilted in one
(23:35):
direction or the other just yet.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
I mean, the Colts are playing much better. They definitely,
you know it. Just it feels like a maybe even
Michael Pennex like over past attempts, which I don't think
ben MGM offers a past attempts, but because yeah, if
the Colts score here, they offer.
Speaker 6 (23:55):
The I know that they offer passing rushing. I love you.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
I like the attempts a lot because you know that
obviously doesn't matter if they catch a ball or not.
You have to throw the ball to someone right for
that to pay off.
Speaker 6 (24:06):
One other thing I like they offer when when they
offer alternates, like I one way markets bother me a lot.
When I can't bet two way, it's hard for me
to pick off some value. MGM does offer the alternate
totals and alternate spread both ways, so you know they're
fifty two and a half over under. You know that
they or you can go up to fifty six and
(24:27):
a half over under. So there's that you could bet
both ways on the on the totals there, and I
see that with the alternate with the alternates there, like
there's some other things they're winning margins and stuff that's
you only get like one way choices. But I do
like how you can bet both ways on the totals
and the side.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
By the way I mentioned a few minutes ago, what
does London have to do with Berlin? That would be
Drake London, the Falcons wide receiver playing in Berlin today,
and of course, like who's going to be guarding him?
Is it going to be exclusively Sauce Gardener? The brand
new corner for the Colts. They traded two first rounders
to get the former Jets cornerback. And we have our answer, Sauce,
(25:07):
isn't you know, shadowing him exclusively? He's sometimes on Darnell Mooney,
He's sometimes on Drake London, so he's not on Drake
London the whole time. But what are you guys' thoughts
on That's an all in move by the Colts getting
Sauce Gardner, and really it's a major bet on Daniel Jones.
You give up two first round picks, that's your draft
capital that you need to possibly move up and get
(25:29):
a quarterback if you're thinking about doing so. So not
having first round picks in each of the next two years.
That's a huge deal for the Colts to bet on
Gardner that way, it's a bet on Daniel Jones as well.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
My first thought was what you just said is this
is a buy in Daniel Jones long term as your quarterback.
And I just can't live with that. I can't. I
just there's we look at outliers like Baker Mayfield go
into a fourth team essentially and being good, and I
(26:02):
think that's gonna happen in every situation, the honest truth
that it's not right, It's just not And if this
is the this is the best Jones ever looked in
his career, I think we all agree on that, right
the best? Okay, sure would you rank him right now
as far as NFL quarterbacks the best he's played in his.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
Career, Yeah, he's still down there if he's twelve.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
Fourteen r.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Like, So, the best you get from this quarterback is
fifteenth league average and you're going to pay him to
be your future with the roster you have right now.
So my high school football coach had to saying, it's
the best advice I ever got. It's don't lie to yourself.
I love it. It applies to everything in life, right,
(26:46):
don't lie to yourself. Yeah, the Colts and every NFL
team does this. They lie to themselves all the time.
And the lie they're telling themselves is they are going
to be a Super Bowl champion with Sauce Gardner and
then Jones is or they're not and Jones is able
to build? Are they able to build a round Jones
for the future And the truth is that they're just not.
(27:09):
It's not gonna happen in that way. I go over
this whole time. Here's the test. Roger Goodell is walking
down the row of players holding Lombardi Trophy. We're watching
the game, meaning to Bran crack is counting his money
from all the props he won on Super Bowl weekend.
I'm gonna have to reload my account for cracks super
Bowl props. When he sends it out to all of
(27:30):
us and he said, be holding that Lombardi Trophy. Actually
know someone else does it? Right? They walk out with it,
They hands it to Goodell. Is good y'all are gonna
turn to his left or right and hand it to
Daniel Jones as the cold super Bowl champion? Is that that?
That's what we're doing. That's that's what we're doing. Now.
(27:52):
I get the trade for Sauce, like I get that,
like that you need that guy, but for two first
round picks. It's absolutely insane.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Yeah yeah, listen, Daniel Jones is playing well, right, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
That's but they're also the thing. They're a dome team
who's probably gonna have to go to Buffalo to win
a playoff.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Game in January or even Arrowhead.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
You know Arrowhead, I mean who goes. I can't say
the plays now. They play in two weeks, right, it's Denver,
that's right. I think she's played Denver. Most food Gayzy
A two team of all time, ridiculous, you were we
were texting Brian Thursday night, just like just Friday morning.
We were taxed, like just the worst AY two team
(28:36):
I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe they're
ate it too. It's just it's so food Gayzy and uh.
And they're gonna have to so like you have to
go on the road probably at some point in the
play they're not gonna win that game. They're just not
gonna win that game.
Speaker 6 (28:48):
Listen. I like what the Colts did here picking up
soft Corner even though it cost them the two first rounds. Uh,
Gardner probably one of the best corners in the league.
And you know, and this he should help the Cold
defense immediately as they look to make this playoff run.
But I have friends that are die hard Jet guys.
They live and breed that. I mean, they're just I
(29:09):
hate to say that one of them is listening. They
just he loves the Jets. He is devastated by giving
up the first round picks, you know, like he is.
He just does. I mean, he's like, how can this
team give the first round picks? And that that is uh,
(29:31):
you know, he doesn't know what. He loves Sauce. But
he's actually like, I can't believe they gave us the
first round picks. He's like, I say, devastated, I mean
the opposite. Actually he is. He is happy as can
be to give up that they get up the first
round picks. But he did like Sauce even though he
wasn't having the great he did like him. But he
is like, wow, I can't believe they give us the
(29:52):
first of the first round pick. So sorry, I said devastated,
that's that's the opposite word.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
No, Yeah, we got to talk about the window a second. Here,
the window matters a ton. We'll get to that in
a minute. First, though, our window right now is open
to Isaac Loewencrown h It's like bright sunshine just invades
your space right there. What's going on?
Speaker 6 (30:11):
I low?
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Why?
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Thank you, Brian.
Speaker 8 (30:13):
And it is indeed a window to the world, because
right now in Berlin, the Indianapolis Colts are holding a
thirteen to seven lead over the Atlanta Falcons, six point
fifty four left in the second quarter. Atlanta's ball at midfield.
They've got a second down and five coming up. It
started seemingly disastrously for the three and five Falcons. On
(30:33):
their first possession, Michael Pettick junior stripsack by Cameron Vinam.
Colts recovered scored a touchdown on a one yard run
by Jonathan Taylor.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
Two plays later.
Speaker 8 (30:41):
Michael Badgley's extra point, however, was wide to the right,
so it was six to nothing Colts. Falcons came back
drove eighty one yards and five plays. Tyler Algier scored
on a one yard touchdown run, but then Daniel Jones
a thirty seven yard touchdown pass to Alec Pierce, and
that again has given the Colts a thirteen to seven
lead over the Atlanta Falcons with six thirteen and counting
(31:03):
of the second quarter in Berlin, and Michael Pennick Junior
and the Falcons right now presiding over a second down
and five from midfield in Berlin, Germany, he completes a
pass for a first down down to the Colt thirty
five yard line. Meanwhile, among the early games kicking off
early on this side of the pond, the Cleveland Browns
(31:24):
visiting the New York Jets, and speaking of the all
international theme, here was a Cleveland Browns fan from England
tailgating moments ago in a parking lot outside MetLife Stadium
and commenting on the American NFL tailgate breakfast menu.
Speaker 7 (31:45):
Glenn egg bacon, hash brown and now these little cute
little buns.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
I think Americans done really hate cops.
Speaker 8 (31:54):
Yeah, I s The National Football League truly bring the
world together anyway. In college football, on Saturday night, fourth
ranked Alabama beat LSU twenty to nine to improve to
eight and one, we also had a couple of big
upsets wake Corus winning on the road at twelveth rank
Georgia sixteen to nine, and cow winning at fourteenth rank
(32:14):
Louisville in overtime twenty nine to twenty six for Col's
first victory over a ranked opponent in its last fifteen tries.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Guys, back to you, Thank you. I LO it is
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett MGM okay. So,
a couple of things with the trades going on here. First,
we're talking about the Colts trading two first round picks
to get Sauce Gardner. It's a big bet on their quarterback,
Daniel Jones. I think when you compare, like Daniel Jones
what he's doing this year to what the Colts have
(32:44):
had for the last several years. Right we're talking Anthony
Richardson Gardner, Minshew Crack Like last year it was like
Minshew underpassing yards, you know, underpassing. So you look at
Daniel Jones, I get why Shane Steike and Chris Ballard
would be like, this is amazing. This guy's kicking it
right now. But I think they're they're overrating what the
future is going to be like. The other part of
(33:05):
this is, listen, there were some you know, some interesting
memes and all that type of stuff with Gardner, Minshew,
I'm sorry with Sauce Gardner being traded, Quinn Williams, very
good defensive linemen traded to the Cowboys. The Cowboys are
out of their minds, by the way. But right, but
I saw one from family Guy where it's Peter Griffin
(33:26):
and he's like, you know, hey, these these draft picks
are like lottery tickets. Maybe with you know, with us
trading are all pro corner, we're able to draft an
all pro corner. And you know, they're just kind of
clowning the Jets for doing this. Yeah, this is very
important to understand. It's all about the window. Okay, the
Jets are nowhere near a championship contending window. So what
(33:51):
they're doing, right, they're trading Sauce Gardener. They're not saying
Sauce sucks, Quinn Williams no good either. They're saying these
guys are good. They're ready to compete for a championship
right now. We're just not ready at all as an organization.
So what we're going to try to do, We're gonna
trade these guys who are assets, go young, go cheap,
and hopefully hit on some of these draft picks where
(34:12):
they will sync up with our window, and when we're
in championship contention, we'll have players that are also in
championship contention. It's just the windows don't sync up, right now,
That's all that's going on here.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
You nailed this, dude, You absolutely nailed this. The the
the the Jets can't win now because the quarterback sucks.
That's that simple. They have a quarterback, right, Colts. I
mean Falcon's boy have just scored this games is getting
close at thirteen thirty London, Yeah, pending pat So they're
(34:46):
not close to winning now. So those assets are useless
sitting on the roster right, and they're also not playing
well because they're de It's it's I've been on bad teams,
have been a good teams, like it's hard sometimes to
play as well on a bad team like Sauce card
is gonna play better as a cult he just is.
It's playing for championship, just the way it is, especially
(35:08):
on defense. Okay, just it's unfortunate. Maybe you don't agree
with the way that works, but that's just human nature, okay.
And the Jets now have all this ammo to get
a quarterback at some point the next two years, they
could determine this is not their year and go get
a gap quarterback for a year. Maybe Kylin Murray is
free for a year, you know, like there's Arizona just
pays the salary. It's sort of like a Russell Wilson
(35:30):
Pittsburgh thing, Like you just you get Colin Murray for
a year, you're paying nothing. Arizona's on the hook for
the salary, and you go ahead and do that, okay,
m And so there's many different ways to get around
this if you don't want to draft quarterback this year.
But the point is that they have so much AMMO now.
They have five first round picks next three years, plus
whatever second ond picks they have. They have all this
AMMO now to go attack quarterback position. Because to your point, Brian,
(35:54):
you're not gonna win even next year with any young quarterback,
and you waist another year of talent with these guys.
So I get what crack. I get why your friends
aren't happy those guys leave. But it's not about replacing
sauce in Quentin Williams. About finding a quarterback first. And
they can find a quarterback first, they have a chance
to win a championship. So and the thing about it.
(36:14):
People will say often say things like, well, find find
a quarterback outside the first round. You really can't figu
about the NFL right now. There's three quarterbacks that are
franchise guys. They're out there, not in the first round.
Dak hurts Purty, that's it. Everyone else the first round
draft pick. So load up on draft picks for the
first round. I like what they did.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Yeah, yeah, listen, it makes a ton of sense. They're
a one in seven football team and it's just gonna
get worse this year, right even if they had sauce
in Quinn Williams. So I think it makes a ton
of sense to have two first rounders next draft, three
first rounders the following draft. Like, that's a ton of
capital and they're gonna hit on some of those guys,
(36:56):
and you know, maybe the roster is good enough where
they can make a run of it. They can't do
it right now, they're incapable, so it makes sense to
trade those guys, no doubt. All Right, We've got Bill Krackenberger,

Speaker 4 (38:31):
We start with you with something you like.
Speaker 6 (38:34):
Well, let's grab this point at bet MGM before that disappears.
This line's been moving all week. Give me the Eagles
tomorrow night, first Green Bay plus one point. I think
at first this line is a little bit funny. It
came out and I was like, wow, this is a
funky line here they're begging you to bet the Eagles.
But now that I see it moving all the way here,
I think the Love Philly definitely the better.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Team Love Philly in this game. We'll talk about it
maybe down the show. I'm dead how you are there?
Speaker 7 (39:01):
Right?
Speaker 6 (39:03):
Well?
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Hey, I don't want to give you my record on
my own personal podcast last month, stop good toping good
in this one either one in nine last two weeks
in the Crack Challenge. So look, I'll just do this.
I'm gonna go Tampa Bay money line. I'm gonna go
a money line. I'm in the parlay. I can't cover
anything right now, so we'll just throw Tampa Bay in.
I ain't take great spot for Tampa Bay. Right. You're
(39:24):
off a by you. Your offensive line is getting healthier.
New England's itching to get beaten. They're itching for a loss.
They've won six in a row. They're on the road,
outside tough place to play. Campus is very refreshed. I
like Tampa Bay to just win this game. Paul, just parlay,
So we're gonna go money line.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
Okay, nothing wrong with that, it's funny. I'll stick with
the same game, Jeff. I like the under in this game.
I'll take under forty eight and a half. Two good
rush defenses. I don't think that's important, and I don't
see it just turning into a shootout. Tampa Bay still
has a bunch of receivers that are banged up, and
Drake May he's had a a really solid season. But again,
(40:02):
Tampa's defense is good enough. I just don't see him
going crazy. So I'm like under forty eight and a
half in the UH Pats Tampa game this year. This week,
and so if you parlay these three things together plus
four seventy two. So we're looking at close to five
to one right there with three picks. Not bad, we don't.
(40:24):
We don't just like yawn at five to one, right
and we'll take five on one all day? Yeah we will, right,
So just looking at the end, So there was an
interception Daniel Jones threw looked like there might be a
penalty on the Falcons, but I guess not right, So
we're going to.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
Half unless the Falcons might try one more play before
and field range.
Speaker 6 (40:46):
I was watching that right major lyon will on the screen. Guys,
Tampa got a lot of money season. As Jeff puts
this out there, I mean the sindicate hits it on
the other side too, so.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
The word out, yeah, all right, coming up that this
guy you probably know who he is, typically eats against
the NFC. Oh, what is going on? Happy week ten
to you. We are two hours away from the early
window of games kicking off here the one pm Eastern
time kicks. We'll get you all set for all that
(41:17):
good stuff here it is. Do we have shades of
what happened with the Jets earlier in an international game?
So Raheem Morris very conservative as the Falcons head coach
Jeff was just saying, before we went to break, there
were eight seconds left before halftime. Falcons had the ball
at about their own twenty eight yard line or so,
they had two timeouts. They just knelt on the ball,
(41:40):
went to halftime, didn't even try anything. What did you try?
Something like either throw the ball downfield, just run a play.
Maybe Beijon Robinson busts a run, you know, maybe it's
a screen pass, super safe and it's a big gain
and all of a sudden you could put up points
before halftime. I don't know if Drake London was doing
his gear at wilson impression there, but Drake c London
(42:02):
was seen by Raheem Morris with his arms extended like
what do we do it? I don't know if he
was like why why are we running a play over here?
But we saw that with the Jets a little bit earlier,
when Garrett Wilson was like, what are we doing Aaron Glenn,
let's run a play? Why not? You know, so that
could have been much time.
Speaker 6 (42:20):
How much time? Eight seconds can they can they throw
a thirty yard past thirty five yard yeah, absolutely, Yeah, yeah,
no doubt get out.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Like I just think coaches that the coach like that
don't win a lot of their games, like at least try.
Ye think about would any we have tried tried with
dead with dead Campbell have tried, Seann Sean Payne would
(42:56):
have probably would have tried as much as I think
he doesn't like watching right now, they's from highlights of
Baker Mayfield. They would have tried, like they you gotta try.
It's to me, it's a bad message to your team
that we're not trying to score points here, right So
I didn't like it, But look, I mean the Falconts
(43:19):
are doing a good job. You know. In this moment,
I have Panthers to finished second place in the divisions.
I need the Falcons. I like the Falcons to lose,
but I kind of want the Colts to lose. They
don't like their trade they did, So I'm in a
conundrum here. I have no money in the game, so
I gotta I gotta pick someone to lose who would
rather lose. Maybe a tie would work. Embarrassed in brilliant
(43:39):
Berlin is the one place out of all the places
they've been for I would like to Berlin seems like
the most fun to go, Like, watch a game at.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
I could see that. Yeah, are Brazil Brazil probably?
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Yeah, but Brazil is Yeah, Brazil will be fun. It's
how safe is Brazil though? That's the only thing.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Yeah, you know you're you're looking for an experience here,
you know, you're right.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Screw it. Wanted to mess with me anyways.
Speaker 4 (44:05):
Yeah, exactly right.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
I do want to I do want to score more
Europe though. That's why I like the Germany game. Sounds
that one next week you get, oh Madrid, They've got
Madrid game. They're gonna play eventually a game every week
in an international city. That's gonna happen. Eventually. Your Dolphins,
your Finns.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
Finns against the no Jaden Daniels commanders.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Oh what a what a Mimi still has a head coach?
Somehow you're gonna be.
Speaker 4 (44:33):
There for the rest of the year. That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Did you know what's racist to fire Chris Career? Did
you know that? Did you hear the analysairs?
Speaker 5 (44:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (44:42):
I didn't know. I didn't know that. Who's performing right now?
By the way, who is just like the kid?
Speaker 4 (44:49):
I don't even know Lardie I don't even know.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
I have no idea in English or is it in
or is it in German?
Speaker 4 (44:55):
I don't know. I'm not sure. I just see, uh yeah,
what's that your your lips moved, but I can't hear
what you're saying. It's the company I'm checking in here,
it is It does sound like German.
Speaker 6 (45:08):
Yes, there you go, crack okay, yeah German? German?
Speaker 1 (45:16):
Yeah, okay, very good. Yeah. I did not take a
year a German, so good for you here. I was
just curious, like this is Yeah, it looks like it's
a party man, people you yellow yellow colts. Ye, little fact,
a little well halftime party.
Speaker 4 (45:28):
Here having a little fun. Absolutely all right, how about this?
So we've got the Ravens at the Vikings. Of course,
Lamar Jackson very well known for doing incredibly well against
NFC teams. Just one thing to keep in mind here
the Vikings they blitz at the second highest rate in
the NFL this season. Yeah, and Lamar Jackson dating back
(45:50):
to last year, the beginning of last season, he's one
of the league leaders against the blitz. Which is funny
because you think back to remember Brian Flora being the
head coach of the Dolphins and that famous like you know,
blitz zero, Like he's sending the house over and over
and Lamar could do nothing about it. But he's up
his game man. Ever since the beginning of last season,
(46:12):
he's been one of the best Indiana NFL against the blitz.
So something to keep in mind is Brian Flores, you know,
dial it back a little bit, or is he still
blitz heavy like he has been second highest rate in
the league this season.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
So I originally like the Vikings to cover this game,
and then I saw an internet creator make a video
saying that they were on the Vikings and then cited
the trend that Lamar Jackson has never won a game
in Minnesota, but he's never played game in Minnesota. O,
my gosh, really, come on, Jeff, I immediately bet on
(46:46):
the Ravens. Immediately be the Ravens, immediately four. I did it.
I just sight unseen. I just done. If that's what
we're doing, we're just am merely out on that, So
we're done.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
I got to disagree. I think that's a pretty solid trend, Jeff.
Speaker 1 (47:06):
I mean, wow, the video started with Lamar has never
won in Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (47:10):
Before, never played there yet?
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Yeah, never played there before, and then it was a
bunch of trends about like there's a bunch of trends
about like Lamar on the road, like just just insane.
Thing is it was a minute video of just listing
off whatever chat GPT told you the trends of the
of the game work, that's all. It was. So actual
analysis of this game is what is real about Minnesota,
(47:37):
right because their defense had not been playing well to
the play the Lions, and then they played fantastic against Detroit.
Their offense, obviously with McCarthy was you know, without macarthury'd
say wasn't great and then it looked better. But like
macarthy was okay, he was so so and they acted
like he Like the postgame locker room was like he
was this champion warrior that were turned from battle. It
(48:01):
was like, bro, you played one game, you beat the Lions.
It was okay. I think the Minnesota thing is like
too much for me almost, and the Ravens with Lamar
are gonna be better. We know that. Now. The Dolphins
game is not a good example that because I think
the Dolphins played well enough to score more than six points. Now, defensively,
the Dolphins can't don't cover tight ends. If you have
not been on Dalton and Kid yet. We'll get the
(48:21):
the the prop platter in a few minutes. That will
be one of mine. But the Ravens are going to
get better. And the reason why Lamar plays well against
NFC teams is you just never prepare for Lamar. There's
no way to prepare. He's unlike any quarterback in the NFL.
You can't. You can try your best in practice to
(48:42):
simulate chasing down Lamar Jackson. The reason why he's good
against pressure two things right. One is that he's obviously veteran.
He knows every defense. But also if you miss him
and you run a pressure, there's no one's spying Lamar.
He's gone boom. So like all these things, I think
play into the vikings. I mean the Ravens. Not have
to convince myself to take the Ravens covering this game.
(49:05):
I think four and a half was a ton of points.
I'm on that, so I get that crack. But I
saw the analysis this morning and just auto bet the Ravens.
So I just that's I had the Ravels.
Speaker 6 (49:17):
It wasn't the voice right? Please tell me yes?
Speaker 1 (49:19):
No, the voice actually so the Voice yesterday. I did
the Voice fade like six weeks ago and they went
oh and six, And then I did it for two
more weeks and they were it didn't go very well.
They were like four and four five hundredweek took a
few weeks off. I saw the Voice the plays they
had for yesterday. I was like, this is such a
public card. I did the fade again. The Voice went
(49:41):
to five yesterday, so I hit another. I did another
big play on the on the wasn't close Texas Tech.
I needed Texas Tech. I need Wisconsin who won outright Alabama.
That was the closest game.
Speaker 6 (49:55):
I think, Oh my god, don't know, because you know,
people knew to the the show. The Voice is just
someone we bet against. I always say it's just as
good as to find a losing handicapper as it is
a winning handicapper. But for me to even say five teamer,
because that's not my vocabulary, boy, I tell you what,
it's the voices. The Voice has lost a lot of
(50:19):
money and gets paid a ton of money from the
to be an influencer in the space, and has putting
has putting more people in a homeless shelter.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Oh my god, wow. So and the Bartender, by the way,
has had a couple of rough weeks and back of
the Bartenders on the Patriots today is a road dog
and is on the the Rams minus six insane wager.
Speaker 6 (50:40):
Okay, okay, Well, let's go back to this. Minnesota, Baltimore
and both of these teams coming in uh you know
building someone met him here. The Vikings big upset Detroit
last week, four and four, get a couple of games
at home and try to build their you know, their
playoff resume here if they can get to the playoffs,
Baltimore lamar back. As we know, three and five. Imagine this,
(51:00):
three and five still favorite to win the division. That's
impossible after half the season. You can not happen. Will
not happen. Like Ace Rothstein said about three jackpots being
hit in Casino, cannot it's the numbers in the billions.
It's not in the billions, but I mean three and
five favorite to winner division. Minnesota's run defense been an
(51:24):
issue for them all year, but played great last week,
holding Hawaii's only sixty five yards on the ground. Today
is gonna be a little different with them against Lamoire
and even Derrick Henry Ravens are finally well rested. And
it's crazy to say, but they didn't have a single
player on their injury report this week. Their defense have
been pretty bad all season, but their secondary has looked
(51:46):
better recently and hoped they tried to force Minnesota to
win this one in the air, So you know, really
a question for both of you guys. The Ravens fullback
Patrick Riccard is so important for the Ravens run game,
but you never hear his name mentioned. This is full back,
like maybe one of the most unappreciated, hey positions in
(52:07):
the NFL.
Speaker 4 (52:08):
Some teams utilize the full back still and have a really.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
He's basically it's like three hundred pounds.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
Oh, he's enormous. But yeah, some of these teams they
utilize the full back. It's weird, right, some good rushing attacks.
So yeah, the Ravens definitely use him at times. A
lot of times where you know, Derrick Henry's the solo
running back, you know, single set running back. But yeah,
it's the days of like Moose Johnston, Yeah, you know,
(52:36):
and the lorenzo'neill and that sort of thing, Like we
don't have that anymore. But there are some teams that
utilize it. Crack yeah, sure, yeah, cool. Regie Gilliam with
the Bills. They have him in the mix, you know,
sometimes Alan Ingold with the Dolphins.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
You mentioned Juice with the Niners. I mean obviously that's
a that's absolutely yeah, yeah he yeah, he's basically three
hundred pounds and me he's pretty awesome. Like an offensive
lignman who basically plays uh plays full back for them.
It'd be a fun game, fun game. So looking forward to.
Speaker 6 (53:06):
Some money coming on Baltimore this afternoon. Just to let
you know, I just want to like minus four minus
juice four NFL sides, ye.
Speaker 1 (53:17):
Buddy, I uh wow, yeah, I don't have to say.
It's been a rough one this year. Guys, for your
employ over here, if I have.
Speaker 6 (53:25):
A question for you, you went to you know your
you fly to what's your schedule to New York? When
do you fly to New York? And when do you
fly out? What's your schedule normally?
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Oh, when there's not a government shutdown?
Speaker 6 (53:36):
No, like normally not do you flyesday?
Speaker 1 (53:39):
I'm glad you mentioned that because I actually have to
text people, but I ain't coming to New York this week.
I saw this morning, there's already a four hour delay
of Newark.
Speaker 6 (53:47):
I'm asking.
Speaker 1 (53:49):
So Wednesday morning, I fly from Charlotte Tall Guardia in
the morning at nine o'clock. Never had a problem, not
once once here. Then Thursday afternoon I leave Newark because
I'm on the west side of Manhattan. I just easy
to pop down a Newark at five thirty. Okay, new
work back to Charlotte. Before the government shut down, I
had a couple of delays. It was you'll be delayed
(54:10):
by thirty minutes. Like the longer the day goes, the
more flesher played. Right. We got some weather issues, like
I got fight cancels the weather. What I realized about
New York City, either La Guardia or Newark, if it
rains at all, they just shut They shut the whole,
the whole airport down. It's absolutely crazy. And then two
weeks ago I was delayed five hours, and then this
past week I got my fight canceled. Wow, and I
(54:32):
so I actually have to call I have to call
my my bosses and be like, hey, I'm not I
don't think I'm coming this week. I'm not. I'm not
doing that again. Four hour delay at Newark already today today.
Speaker 6 (54:42):
Already I knew today was I and like.
Speaker 1 (54:46):
I just it's obviously I get it. If you're not
getting paid, why were you working? Like I'm I get it,
you're missing a paycheck. The the issue, of course, is
that not only are the delays, but like lanes are
colliding almost like they're almost colliding with each other. Like
every day is a report of like airplanes almost hitting
each other. Happened to La Extra. Yes, I just don't
(55:08):
feel safe flying. I know it seems crazy to say that,
but I feel safe every other time. They never thought
once about it. But when you get these reports of
planes almost colliding like off runways, No, I'm out on
that obviously. So I don't know if I'm gonna go.
Speaker 6 (55:21):
How did you get out of Nork?
Speaker 1 (55:23):
Okay? So here's what I did. I know, you guys
are really throwing my travel.
Speaker 4 (55:27):
My track is I am.
Speaker 6 (55:29):
I want to know.
Speaker 1 (55:30):
I travel, So I travel. I travel a lot, right,
so I sort of get the patterns of what's going
to happen. I showed up in Newark at four o'clock
or my five thirty flight, I got the text, you're
delayed thirty minutes. You're delayed thirty minutes. You're delay thirty minutes.
I went on the flight a flight app like the
flight away whatever it is, to look at the map
of my plane. My plane had not left Charlotte yet,
and it was sitting on the tarmac off from the gate. Okay,
(55:54):
airplane hours for pilots and flight attendant start when you
leave the gate, all right, So this is the end
of the day. They're sitting on the tarmac. I knew
that they were gonna be out of hours. I just
knew it. I knew it. So I booked a flight
for Friday morning at six o'clock in the morning. Immediately, Wow,
sitting in the lounge at the new Lounge, we get
(56:15):
the flights delay. We get in the airplane, about seven
thirty we pull off the gate. So I hate to
tell you this, guys, but we're out of hour or
so we're going back to the gate and it's like
eight o'clock and not It's like there's no other flight.
The fight got rescheduled till ten am the next day.
So I already booked that flight. So I so my
(56:35):
advice for you, Crack is to book the earliest flight
the next morning.
Speaker 6 (56:39):
Book another flight. Yeah, yeah, I would leave, like you
had to stay over, or did you? So you didn't
stay in the airport, you stayed.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
I stayed at Crown Clause.
Speaker 6 (56:45):
I went to like a hotel, right, Yeah, you should
have called me. I would have told you to go
to a wall hoop on Mott Street or something. Get
some good chiny late night Chinese.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
It was nine o'clock. I was ready to go to
sleep and wake up. At four o'clock in the morning.
We got to the airport. I'm opening when I fly, though,
we're always I'm a first fight. I like my kids
up and like we're even six o'clock in the morning
to fight la. We always fly the earliest flight in
the morning because it's never delayed. That was I'd rather
just be a little bit tired and nap than ever
miss a flight. So I always take the early morning
flight everywhere, So taking a flight of five thirty kind
(57:14):
of pisses me off. But that's my work schedule. So
enough about flying. Yeah, I might may or might not
be in New York today. I did text you guys
about in Russost like more time to gamble, right, yeah,
more time you use bet MGM. You're correct, that is true.
Speaker 4 (57:27):

Speaker 4 (58:38):
We welcome in our good friend, Christian Cipolini, Senior trading
manager at BETMGM. Good morning to you, Christian. Hope things
are well. So I always ask you what's on the
BETMGM wish list. I'm very curious about this. Krack kind
of put this into my head right where he said
God protects the book makers, right, so we need to
know who the bookmakers need, right, so we might need
(59:00):
the same thing. So what would be I don't know,
like one or two big needs for you guys today.
Speaker 3 (59:07):
Yeah, of course, as always most weeks, we have a
couple games that are pretty significant needs. The first one
should be pretty obvious. One of the Biggert spreads of
the day, Lions Commanders without Jaydon Daniels. That line jump
from three all the way up to eight. We have
about eighty five and ninety percent of our action coming
in on the Lions, which is usually expected at BETMGM.
(59:28):
We're usually taking lines bets, so that would be the
number one if we can get that one and the
other one that's actually really surprising to me is the
Ravens Vikings game. We've taken about eighty percent of our
money on the Ravens, so the book that need the Vikings.
That one surprised me more. Another one notable is Bill's Dolphins.
(59:48):
Not as high as that on the Ravens. About seventy
five percent of the money coming on the Bills. So
three teams, I can get Dolphins, Vikings and Commanders.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
You have a game in Berlin right now. I'm kind of
curious about this one because you know, we saw the
Colts lose to Pittsburgh last week and this number got big.
It was like four and a half closed six and
a half. And the fact Winds are winning. Was there
a lot of action on this one early game between
two teams. I don't know how much that the country
really cares about. Still, what do you need in this one?
Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
Yeah? This one okay? Handle, I mean it's a still
a standalone game, but you know, from a book's perspective,
we end up losing a lot of the West Coast crew.
They don't really get up in time for this one,
so it doesn't take as much as a normal stand
alone game will take, but in general we did take
a lot more pulp action. You kind of could see
that from that line movement going towards the Coults the
(01:00:41):
whole way, and bet money went that way as well.
So books liking what we're seeing at the moment, especially
after that fumble a couple of minutes ago. It's a
book hoping that this result will hold.
Speaker 6 (01:00:53):
Okay, Christian, you know these primetime games I like to
talk about, even though I know you probably don't have
a lot of actions so far in them. However, this
Philadelphia Green Bay game opened up three out here in
Vegas for a hair and quickly was gobbled up by yours.
Truly bind it, by the way, I bet Philadelphi when
I've seen that three and now it's down to like
(01:01:15):
pick them. You guys still standing at a solid one.
Any big action on this game so far? You guys
just moving with the crowd or has there been Philadelphia
money at bet MGM.
Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
Yeah, this is a game. We talked about actually in
the traders room a bit. Where it fell. We didn't
feel the line really was where it would close, so
we're pretty quick to move the second we kind of
started seeing action in the market start to trend in
one direction. Yeah, as you mentioned, we're pretty close to
pick them while we're sitting at one. You know, we're
(01:01:48):
at minus one fifteen to the Packers, so we're pretty
close to a pick them. Majority of our money has
also come on the Eagles. You know, I don't think
we were ever at three maybe for a second, but
we have him so far about eighty percent we're action
on the Eagles, while again you mentioned very early, we're
not going to take a majority of action till tomorrow,
but I do expect that to hold. Maybe if we're
(01:02:08):
at a pickom, if it starts to lean more towards
the Eagles, maybe that's more where we'll get a little
bit more Packers action back. But yeah, I guess that
was too good to be true there for people sitting
on the Eagles at plus two.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Man, how about breaking news here, Christian where Sauce Gardner,
the new Colts cornerback, had an easy interception opportunity and
just dropped it. So, uh, just passing that along Colts
will get the ball back? Yeah, third down? But you
need any Is that bad for you? Bad for the books?
What do you think they're with us getting.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
That I'm sitting there watching that too. He just just
missed it. But yeah, the book, the book's hoping for
the Falcons in this one, so hoping to hang on
to where we're at now.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Okay, how about were you surprised at all with all
the line movement in the Rams Niners game? Because you know,
typically these teams play very close games, but you know
the Niners are banged up. But are you surprised it's
gotten up to a six point favorite with the Rams
on the road here?
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Yeah, but there's a couple of games this week obviously
from injury news that led Lions to move. This one
was at three right now we're sitting at six. Obviously
a majority of that is going to come from the
quarterback injury, but Mac Jones has done a pretty good
job of filling in so far, so I am a
little bit surprised to see it move three full points.
Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
A lot of that, too, is all different injuries coming
on for the forty nine ers, they're banged up all
over the place wide receiver injuries also, and the Rams
just have been looking really good too, so with Pooka playing,
that probably explained a lot of the line movement. I
would say that I think that maybe it is a
little bit too much, just with the way of the
way Mac Jones is playing, doesn't feel like a three
(01:03:50):
point difference between those two few b's.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Right now A game I'm gonna be on, but don't
don't I think love it, But I think that's the
right side of the Giants plus four and a half.
Any action on the I just the Bears are not
good enough to be favored I think by four and
a half over a team that you know, DVOA, EP,
whatever number you want to use there right next to
each other. I got the Giants haven't played terribly well,
but the Bears have sort of stuck by with some
(01:04:13):
wins the last month one point one point that game
last week. Where's the money at in this one?
Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Yeah, I fakus a lot what you're saying that this
game moved from three and a half two four, so
that has been moving with the Bears. We've been taking
a lot more bets on the Bears. The handle though,
is a little bit closer to fifty to fifty, so
a lot of the public jumping on the Bear side,
but our handle is still about fifty to fifty.
Speaker 6 (01:04:43):
Christian I have to go back to these big games
that you need to seventy five and eighty percenters. It's
almost like every week because of your Michigan action, your
your need whoever's playing Alliance. I'll even look at the
Buffalo Miami game, and now, will you do you guys
dangle the extra carrot on a team like Miami? Will
(01:05:05):
you have no problem of moving up a half point
or even Detroit? Will you go where the market's like
seven and a half? Eight on Detroit? Will you guys
go to eight and a half? Will you try to
get two way action by you know, you say, leaving
yourself open to an eight, which is not a real number,
but maybe when analytics and stuff in two point conversions,
it is a real number. You don't want to get sided,
(01:05:27):
But will you do that? Are you just happy to
go with maybe just moving the juice on the game
rather than a number?
Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
Yeah, I mean we kind of have that going right now.
In the Bills Dolphins game, we're hanging in eight and
a half and there's a lot of eight's out there,
so you know, we are kind of okay with taking
We're trying to hope to get a little bit of
Dolphins action. Now some of that is you know, in
general for us at bet MGM, we try to dis
avoid whole numbers whenever we can, just in case for
(01:05:55):
that push. So we'd rather just stick the eight and
a half. And you know, as sometimes it will depend
if we go that way, that lion's commander's game is
one where we'll probably end up trying to take as
much commander's action. So if we do see opportunities, that
is a game where at eight probably should be moving
to eight and a half just off what I said,
(01:06:17):
probably will be pretty soon going eight and a half year,
i'd say very quickly.
Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
You mentioned some of the interesting So you mentioned you
don't want to land on basically whole numbers because when
you look at like alternate spreads, you guys don't offer
obviously like a three, it's like two and a half
or three. Is that just you don't want pushes? Is
that the reason why? Essentially?
Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
Yeah, for as much as as we can, you know,
nobody really likes to push, and we really like to
bet watch the whole game and then you just get
your money back. So you know, right of course, of course,
you know we'd rather go just make a stand one
in one direction or another, especially and you know in
football at times, because there's the key numbers of three, seven,
(01:06:59):
you know, sometimes we don't have an option. But in
a basketball game, you know, everybody's at four. We're gonna
go to four and a half or three now.
Speaker 6 (01:07:05):
So you can hear what Jeff is. He's just begging
for a push. He's had one of those.
Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
Yeah, I can get like a little something on like,
you know, minus one twenty at plus three instead of
a plus two and a half this year. I'll take
you a push on that one, trust me.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
That's that's the worst feeling, by the way, in the
middle of a game, Christian, if you're like, if they
just score a touchdown, I could at least get my
money back. Yeah, that's the worst.
Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
We've all been there, don't worry.
Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
Oh yeah, that's funny, all right, Christian, Well, great stuff
as always, man, enjoy the day and we'll catch it soon.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Yeah those pushes, yeah one.
Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
You doo there he is. Christian Zippolini bet MGM, Senior
trading manager. That's great, Christians, awesome man. Isaac Lowenkron is
awesome as well. I lo is here with us. He's
got the latest. What's going on, buddy?
Speaker 8 (01:07:57):
The latest comes from Berlin, Germany, where it's currently five
point thirty five on Sunday afternoon slash evening and the
three and five Atlanta Falcons continuing to hold on to
a seventeen to thirteen lead over the seven to two
Indianapolis Colts.
Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
Midway through the third quarter.
Speaker 8 (01:08:14):
The Colts right now have the ball at their thirty
two yard line. They just got a first down from
Jonathan Taylor as he rolls out to the Colt forty
four yard line. That was a twenty two yard run.
So again the Colts on the move, but the Falcons
up seventeen to thirteen. Indianapolis quarterback Daniel Jones thirteen of
(01:08:35):
eighteen for one seventy four at a touchdown pass, but
he has been intercepted sacked four times that he has
also lost of fumbland. Right now, the Colts have a
first down and ten at their forty four yard line,
and another run by Jonathan Taylor takes them out to
the forty eight yard line of Indianapolis. We've got seven
(01:08:55):
early games kicking off at one pm Eastern time. The
actives have just been announced. Among the notables Buffalo Bills
receiver Joshua Palmer inactive for their game at Miami today
because of an ankle injury. New York Jets receiver Garrett
Wilson is active for their game against the Cleveland Browns.
(01:09:16):
He had been questionable due to a knee andream, guys,
we've got some fresh college football news. You guys, remember
back on Friday when usc pulled off that fake punt
against Northwestern by sending out a backup quarterback order the
same jersey number as their punter, and the backup quarterback
completed a pass for a first down. Well, the Big
(01:09:36):
Ten Conference a short time ago issued a statement saying,
and I quote and again, I'm afraid you're gonna have
to follow along pretty closely to this quote. If a
foul was identified when the quarterback entered the game as
a punter, a team unsportsmanlike penalty would have been assessed unquote.
(01:09:59):
Now the lang it is kind of corporate and murky
as far as I'm concerned that, I think my interpretation
is that the Big Ten Conference is saying that a
penalty should have been called.
Speaker 1 (01:10:10):
But you, but but not not for the fake punt.
It would have been assessed when the punter came back
in the game to punt the ball the next opportunity.
That's when you can't have two players with the same
number play the same position in a game. About this,
for those who missed it, USC had a fake punt
again Northwestern. I was on USC. I loved it. It's
good for me, and everyone's like, that's a really good
(01:10:32):
throw by the punter. Really wow, that's good. End up
being Sam Hewart. Their backup court will like multiple backup
spined and he was wearing the same number as the punter.
Now in college football, they will often like have a
jumbo tight end will wear a different number. He's an
offense line that put like organists, they number seventy eight,
puts on thirty five and plays tight end. But thirty
(01:10:52):
five is not a number occupied on the organ roster. Okay,
So what USC did was they took Sam Hewart on
the game day roster and made him number eighty for
the last three weeks and no one caught it. Now
it's legal. It's also very sneaky because he didn't wear
eighty for warm ups, doesn't wear eighty at practice, Like
they just snuck an eighty on him and put him
(01:11:13):
out there to be the punter. Now, I'd imagine the
loophole gets closed like this week. But they're gonna change
that rule, just like they changed the twelve man in
the field rule with Oregon last year. They're gonna change
this rule immediately. It's gonna be done. You won't be
able to do this again. I get it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
Like that.
Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
That's good. Good for Lincoln Riley, good for USC. I
get it. That was as sneaky as it comes. And
this will be done now. And the thing about it
is like, did this for Northwestern? Why don't you see
it for Orgon? I don't know. Why would you do
it in Iowa this week? Why would you do it
for Northwestern?
Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
Work like a charm? And it's like, Okay, you used
it against Northwestern in a game that you were doing finding.
Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
But Oregan saved their sneak play for Ohio State.
Speaker 4 (01:11:50):
Yeah, right, like makes a lot more sense. Hey, it

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):

move These people loading up like let's let's back, let's
back Davis Mills and the Texans over here.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
It's not through key number, but people probably walk up
and thought themselves, Oh, Trevor Lawrence stinks and defense Yeah yeah, sure, yeah,
his his total today is two hundred yards.
Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
It's gone down. Yeah it was yeah, two four and
a half. Yeah, it's his numbers are disgusting compared to
a great defense.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
We we we made fun of the Colts for that trade.
Can we talk about the Jaguars trading two draft picks
for Jakobe Myers. How does that make them any better?
How about you just you just do Travis Hunter the
way you're like, you just make him a wide receiver, Like,
how about that solves your he traded up for him,
Make him a wide receiver. They're they're general manager thirty four,
he's young, he's FM picks from the Rams. But like,
(01:13:25):
I don't like this trade at all for them. I
don't have a ton of draft picks next year. I
get it. I just don't like it. It didn't make
much sense. But I uh, if Drad was playing, it'd
be all over the Texas in this game. But he's
not playing crack, so I had to stay away from me.
Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
You can see him. I'm quiet, I'm hitting the screen
and I have to admit it. I'd put a bed
in with bet MGM just now because they're the only
ones that it's an ugly play. Oh boy, is this ugly?
It is? It is that that Dolphin play plus eight
and a half. Oh there, I mean fins up minus
this minus eight plush eight on the screen. I mean
it's probably even were to play both both the boat
(01:14:02):
look at this as we speak. I just put that
bet on the Miami and BETMGM moves to eight. Wow,
all right, that's the end of that. For they move
off me, I will tell you if they move off me.
I gave him a just a peanut bet, but nothing
crazy anyway. Sorry, guys, I'm just you have to listen.
I hate to say it. The winners are there. If
(01:14:23):
you listen to Christian, he'll tell you who they're rooting for.
And as we know Brian said earlier, God protects the
bookmakers without a doubt when he says seventy five and
eighty percent, and even more he said ninety percent. A
couple of weeks ago, the team like lost out right,
Like they tell you who's going to win long term,
(01:14:44):
they could lose every game. But I'm just saying so
I want to be on on on Christian side, and
I want to be on the bet MGM side. I
want to root who they're rooting for because in the end,
all the books get all the money.
Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
Yeah, And that's what he said, crack. He said just
today in the interview, we did eighty percent end of
the money on the Ravens against the Vikings and about
seventy five percent of the money on the Bills against
the Dolphins, which is why you know crack was quiet
on his app betting the Dolphins. All right, like taking
that information in for sure, no doubt. All right, I've
(01:15:15):
got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year
NFL veteran, I'm Brian Know. With the iHeartRadio app, you

four to seven in the new and improved iHeartRadio app.

the iHeart app so it'll always pop up at the
top of your screen. By the way, very quick update.
Colts were going forward on fourth and one at the
Falcon six yard line. Jonathan Taylor stuffed, so they give
up possession, turnover on downs. Falcon's still ahead by four points.
So it's been a weird game. The Colts have a
(01:15:57):
bunch of yards but only thirteen points. It's missed a
bunch of kicks, you know, Daniel Jones fumble in strip sacks,
you know, turnover run, down. It's been a very weird game.
Falcons defense is stepped up and made some big plays
even though they're giving up a bunch of yards. So
there you go. You're all updated as we head into
the fourth quarter. Here coming up next, prop it up
(01:16:18):
the prop betting market. We'll compare extensive notes. Who fades
Trevor Lawrence? First, we'll find out. It is Fox Sports
Radios Campdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. This is
just nice festive right here. It is Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. All season long.
Bet MGM's offering you a second chance on your first
(01:16:39):
touchdown bet. When a customer places a wager on a
first touchdown score bet and he doesn't score first, but
score a second, bet MGM will return one hundred percent
of their stakeback in cash. All right, let's do this.
Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
Prop it up plays.
Speaker 4 (01:16:58):
Okay, prop bets go lower crack. I know you live
for it with something you like today, I want.
Speaker 6 (01:17:04):
To go to I've been betting against him a lot
of times, so I'm gonna still keep going against him though.
Trevor Lawrence under his yards, I'm just looking at Bennet
bet MGM. Guys, I'm sorry, let's see Trevor Lawrence. Bet
MGM is one ninety nine and a half is the
over under Trevor Lawrence. Let's go under his passing yards.
This is like the third or fourth week. You know,
(01:17:26):
I think the Jaguars want to run the ball more
and his weapons are kind of banged up, So under
passing yards Lawrence.
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
Okay, oh wow, this number has come up a lot.
Dalton Kaid was not forty five and a half earlier
this week. I'll do it. I'll still go back to
Dalton Kaid over forty five and a half receiving yards
for the Phil's tight end against Buffalo so Ian against
the Dolphins. They the Dolphins allow every tight end, Brian.
(01:17:56):
We saw it likely last week. We saw with Titsley four.
We can't catch football. We've seen all season long for
a tight end as just dominated. We saw the tight
ends really played Walks Kansas City last week. So this number,
I think I have this number under forty. I think
I have like thirty seven and a half. I mean,
I ain't giving out at forty five and a half,
but I think it's something. It gets home.
Speaker 4 (01:18:16):
I'm going to go super random on you guys. Are
you ready for random? Are you bucketing at the quarterback rushing?
It isn't, although I'll mention something about that in a second. Here, Jeff,
something caught my eye. But no, I'm looking at a kicker.
I'm going to kicker prop on you here. So Texans
kicker Kaimi fair Baron, he's hurt, he's not going today,
(01:18:37):
and he's been on a hot streak of it at
least two made field goals. It's something like seventeen and
three with fair Baron making at least two kicks. So
he got Matthew Wright. You see, f he's stepping in
for fair Baron today. I'm going to take over one
and a half field goals. This is a Davis Mills
led offense. I don't expect them to be some touchdowns
(01:18:59):
left and right. You're probably gonna see two made field
goals from whoever the Texans kicker is. So it's Matthew Wright. Cool,
I'll go with Matthew Wright to at least make two
field goals. That's what I have for Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
I like that. I might like one. Yeah, I might
tell you on that one.
Speaker 4 (01:19:14):
Throw that in your you know your your round. Robbins there, Jeff.
Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
I'm around Robin today. I haven't seen I just straight
wager the NFL. I faded the bartender. I fade our
friend who claimed that Lamar has not won a game
in Minnesota and that's why they're backing the Vikings.
Speaker 4 (01:19:30):
Hey, by the way, the rushing yards for quarterbacks, I
just saw it. Boom boom boom right in a road
these games. So Golf, Stafford and Rogers all at zero
point five rushing yards. You know, you get one rushing
yard and you're on the over. You win, Like I'm
those three. Who do you think is the best bet?
(01:19:50):
Golf Stafford, Rogers, Stafford?
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
I would think that golf, because golf you might you
might get the kneel downs for golf as well to
help you with under rushing.
Speaker 4 (01:20:03):
I would say, golf, Okay, so you're going under.
Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
Yeah, he's not going to run the ball all today.
He won't have to, Okay, but why would he run
the ball?
Speaker 4 (01:20:10):
Makes sense?
Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
Un let's to have a sneak.
Speaker 4 (01:20:11):
I guess you want to go with the Spry over
with Rogers, you know, over with Spry Rogers.
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Wow, they played Chargers tonight? Yeah, you know I can
see him having to move a little bit. They are
a good pass rush. It's about pass rushing game situation, right,
Like Jared Goff, I think we'll be able to never
have to move to do his job.
Speaker 4 (01:20:29):
You just see him with this three yard rush and
you're over You're.
Speaker 3 (01:20:32):
Like, yes, right there, let's go.
Speaker 4 (01:20:34):
Yeah all right? Coming up next, this team is undefeated
yet pretty significant home underdogs.
Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
Oh what is going on?
Speaker 4 (01:20:41):
Welcome in here? Happy week ten two you as we
set the table for some NFL action Falcons ahead of
the Colts seventeen sixteen right now in the fourth quarter
over in Germany. Seven early start games like kickoff in
just over an hour, very much like looking forward to that.
Let's focus on the afternoon games, a couple of them.
(01:21:03):
How about Rams at the Niners. Rams are now favored
by six points on the road. Now, how about this
the Niners. They're at least undefeated indivisional play, they are
three to zero in the NFC West, and yet they
find themselves as six point underdogs here at home against
the Rams. Team that listen, Matthew Stafford is playing great football.
(01:21:25):
Twenty one touchdown passes, only two interceptions. That's outstanding. And
you look at the Niners. Man, it's still the injury bug.
I mean, you just look at the rosters and the
Rams have hardly anybody of note injured. And you look
at the Niners and it's the exact opposite. They've got
a lot of dudes like significant players who are out,
(01:21:45):
Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, the list goes on and on.
So from a health standpoint, it's definitely advantage Rams. But man,
these teams typically play close games. Six points being favored
by on the road is a ton of points in
a matchup like this. You seem to be leaning toward
the dog here, Jeff, right.
Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
It just seems like a lot. And I understand the
Niners injuries. You know, defensively, you just don't replace Bosa
and Warner just you don't. We've seen that being issue, right,
But remember the Niners won this game month ago on
Thursday night, with all those injuries. Right now, they won
the game by three. If Kenn Williams doesn't fumble the ball,
the rain has probably win by seven. So it's a
(01:22:24):
it's a big flip, right, But that's football. You you
make plays, you don't make plays. I has made plays
and I was also out Mikaw Williams towards ACL last week,
I believe, or to when I put the Giants, does
that last week the Giants game or two weeks ago?
Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
Yeah, I was yeah last week.
Speaker 1 (01:22:38):
You know, it's been it's been an issue, but it's
still a division game. It's still teem to know each
other really well, and it's still a opportunity for the
Niners to continue to make that climb to win the division.
I don't think six points is too many, but my
favorite wager it's mine's one fifty five though McCaffrey over
(01:23:02):
five and a half receptions. All they do is give
him the ball all the time, like that's their offense
and teams know it and they can't do anything about it.
So I'm gonna play. I think McCaffrey over five. I
might do that right now, But McCaffrey I don't like.
I don't I'd rather actually take like over six and
a half at a better price, But I'm not sure
I'm gonna get that opportunity here. But he's just a
big part of what they do. I mean, it's a
(01:23:24):
lot of McCaffrey getting the football, and so I like
the receptions more than I like often the you know,
the yards, but I think just he has to be
a huge part of what they of their game play
every week.
Speaker 6 (01:23:36):
Crack yeah, I would actually, if you're going to believe
it or not, I like to take over like six
and a half plus money, but six is a real number.
You know how many receptions are he supposed to have,
So I may go over the five and a half
and lay some juice rather than to take over six
and a half plus a pena. So just to let
you know, crucial matchup here for the NFC West, you
(01:23:59):
have the six two Rams playing the six and three
forty nine Ers, both teams looking you know, to up
their playoff position, and rams offense has really started to
put up some points. They scored thirty five and thirty
four in their last two, but it's their defense that
has really put them over the top. That's that really
surprised me. Actually, so the Rams have have only allowed
(01:24:21):
this that they've only got two rushing touchdowns and none
to opposing running backs. I had to like look at
that twice. McCaffrey looks to of course change that today
as he comes into the game leading the league and
the arts from scrimmage at twelve and twenty two. He's
he is amazing. Even I always am shocked when I
(01:24:41):
think of McCaffrey leaving Carolina. I was like, how can
sometimes these organizational trades, like do you just give up
your whole your whole organization with one guy. The forty
nine Ers offensive has been all over the place this season.
Been great on third down, ranking third best in the league,
but they've been bad in the ren zone, the red zone,
(01:25:02):
and that's very very important. Now, this doesn't look good
for San France today since third down in red zone
is where the Rams defense has been excellent. They rank
in the top three. Rams also give up twenty six
to forty nine Ers in their first matchup Week five,
has only allowed twenty combined in their last three Since then,
all this talk about the preseason about Matt Stafford's bad back,
(01:25:26):
and yeah, it's just for gazy. I mean, I listen,
I blew a ton of money. I blew like thousands
of dollars betting against you know, thinking that Stafford was
banged up. So you know, I went with the stories too.
I actually had some of those stories. First thought I
was getting ahead of the curve, so even the pros
get fooled sometimes.
Speaker 4 (01:25:47):
Man, I'll tell you, crack. It sounded terrible. Like there
were times where remember McVeigh was like, yeah, we're just
gonna shut it down for another week, and you're like
that doesn't sound good at all. And then the regular
season starts and he's fine. Is he's playing great foot
So yeah, that was a wild one. I don't blame
you for you know that going sideways. But I'll tell
you what, man, the workload for Christian McCaffrey is crazy.
(01:26:10):
Where if you just look at carries right, like rushing attempts,
So starting week one against Seattle, it's twenty two, thirteen, seventeen, seventeen,
twenty two, seventeen, twenty four eight, and then twenty eight
last week against the Giants twenty eight. You look at
the receptions. This is a running back by the way, right,
(01:26:30):
look at the at nine six, ten, six, eight, seven, seven,
three five. That's an insane amount of work right there.
As Jonathan Taylor takes it to the house long touchdown,
probably reception, I cut the end of that.
Speaker 1 (01:26:46):
Oh no no, he got no, he got u he
got like balled up and didn't go down and then
just broke free out broke it so I have I mean,
my sixty to one MVP ticket is probably not gonna happen,
but yeah, man, that's some good value on it.
Speaker 4 (01:27:00):
Man, have some really good value on that. And now
how about this, they're trying to make up for Badgely
it's missed extra point. They're gonna try to go for
two right here. It's a big for the cover. Anybody
who of those.
Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
Things were like, the cash out option is not great. Ever,
I'm kind of curious what they're gonna offer me at
some point if this gets down to like he's close
to being the favorite, I could just play someone else too,
and but I don't know that else. Who else would
it be? Right now? Josh Allen m v P.
Speaker 4 (01:27:27):
Yeah, I mean yeah, there's I mean, mahomes is going
to be in the thick of it when it's all
said and done, but there's no clear favorite. You know,
It's funny, like the MVP.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
To this is a second touchdown today right Like he's
gonna he's gonna be close to breaking the touchdown record.
Speaker 4 (01:27:43):
He's around two hundred yards roughly rushing and all they're receiving.
He's had a monster game.
Speaker 1 (01:27:48):
I didn't even look. If I see him, I hope
I am not playing him in fantasy today. That would
be it to.
Speaker 4 (01:27:51):
Sound bat it down, thank you badly for that's you.
Speaker 6 (01:27:54):
A whole spread there the Falcons imagine I know, yeah,
just imagine the Giants wing right there on this.
Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
Yeah, that's so I have a I have a season today. Yeah,
I have a season long bet with from Salam he's
a Fox Sports radio analyst or no, no, he went
to San Diego State big on the Aztecs right there. Yeah,
but we have a season long bet. We just picked
(01:28:21):
three games against the spread, and he picked the Falcons
plus six and a half. So that's the only reason
I'm rooting for the Colts to cover. Is uh, you know,
I've got that heads up duel with the big.
Speaker 1 (01:28:31):
We do about our panther states. We just didn't do
it this year, right.
Speaker 4 (01:28:33):
We didn't do it, Like what happened to you. I
was trying to negotiate. I'm like, Jeff, can you give
me a game? Like a game? I don't think we
never text me back.
Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
I don't think. Well, you're lucky I didn't because.
Speaker 4 (01:28:43):
I'm like, all right, good, good.
Speaker 1 (01:28:49):
That I'm curious with the Taylor MVP odds go down
to after.
Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
Today, they're definitely going down. I'm curious outstanding today.
Speaker 1 (01:28:59):
What's good? You're you're gonna disagree with any sort of
cash out? Like what percent? Is there a percentage you
would cash out on it? Like a wager like this,
Like if it's sixty to one and offer me fifty
percent too high? I don't even know what it would be,
thirty five percent, thirty percent? Would you cash out?
Speaker 6 (01:29:18):
You know, you're right. I'm not a cash out guy because.
Speaker 1 (01:29:20):
I shouldn't be, by the way, but no, you shouldn't.
Speaker 6 (01:29:22):
You shouldn't do cash outs unless unless you know more
than them, which is rare. But I would rather sometimes
maybe you know, when it comes to a game, maybe
maybe try to scalp or something where where? But however,
this is a prop so this is situational here where
you're taking a sixty to one shot and you want
(01:29:44):
to basically lock up. I shouldn't say lock up somebody,
but you you're you're going to because you're going to
make some profit. So you know, a sixty to one
shot one hundred to one shot. I don't want to
tell people not to take some profit from the sportsbooks
long term. Mathematically, that's not the proper thing to do, though,
but I do understand why you would do it with
a long shot.
Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
Now, would it be better just to take like Josh
Allen to an MVP when it gets closer to like
here you go?
Speaker 6 (01:30:09):
That that would be the considering that that like, like
I said, you want to middle and middle or scalp
it out and let's lose some arbitrage. I was trying
to think of a prop arbitrage, but that is it.
It's maybe back up the other MVPs, the other team
to win, the other guys to win m v P,
the other favorites. That would be it, Jeff good, good real,
because I.
Speaker 1 (01:30:29):
Have Mahomes already seven to one before the season. There
you go, I have Taylor, I don't have Alan yet.
I can't imagine any any other of those three guys win, right, I.
Speaker 6 (01:30:37):
Mean, well, there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:30:38):
Lamar is not gonna win, right, Like who's gonna I mean?
Can I guess Stafford can win if the Rams finish well?
Speaker 4 (01:30:43):
Number one money right in the West?
Speaker 6 (01:30:46):
Have you know?
Speaker 4 (01:30:46):
In the little MVP torch, that's what I call it.
It gets past like it's happened a couple of times
this year where the week of for a little bit,
it was Baker you know, hey, Baker Man, let's get
and then they scored nine points again the Lions, and
that simmered down, and then it was Jordan Love is like, hey,
Jordan Love, he's playing some of the best football of
his career. And then you saw what happened last week,
(01:31:08):
right like, then that's done. You know we're not talking
about that anymore. So, Yeah, some of these names will
surface for like a week and then you know it
hasn't worked out very well.
Speaker 6 (01:31:18):
Stafford, I'm shocked at that. Stafford definitely is. Wow, he's
only five to one right now.
Speaker 1 (01:31:26):
I don't Jon Taylor is three to one still, wow,
that's so yeah, so Al is a favorite.
Speaker 4 (01:31:32):
They're just thinking it's a quarterback award.
Speaker 6 (01:31:34):
I mean four and a half to one, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:31:37):
I mean right now, the bet actually might be Donald
twenty to one. If you think Sele's gonna be the
one seed, that's a decent bat fight.
Speaker 4 (01:31:44):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
I don't think. I just can't.
Speaker 6 (01:31:46):
I think you gotta get some Josh Allen. If you're
looking to to hedge that.
Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
Bet, By the way, By the way, what do you
guys think about this? Let me throw another game. Actually,
you just mentioned the Seahawks. How about cards Seahawks? Seahawks
favored by seven. It's Jacoby Brissett starting for Arizona. Yeah,
Kyler Murray got benched. I'm sorry. I mean he's on
IR with a foot injury, clearly benched, but trying to
(01:32:13):
save a little bit of face with this. Just a
weird scenario. But uh, what do you guys make of
the cards plus seven on the road against Seattle.
Speaker 1 (01:32:21):
I would tease Seattle, That's what I would do. Yeah,
I would tease Seattle, take him down to one. The
teaser prices now are outrageous.
Speaker 6 (01:32:29):
By the way, everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
Can we have Can we have like a national law
when they write this bill eventually that they're supposed to
they're going to try to write to for the tax
on on gambling profits or losses whatever, Yeah, terminology. Can
we get a fair cheezer price act? Put in?
Speaker 6 (01:32:45):
The lowest six point teaser in Las Vegas is a
dollar thirty five. That's the lowest. Guess you know what
I was paying twenty years ago? Even yeah, even money,
no juice five different shops.
Speaker 1 (01:32:56):
A few years ago, it was it was, you know,
even just one to eleven, I mean or one ten.
It was just a base. It was just you know standard.
Speaker 6 (01:33:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:33:03):
I mean, if you're looking at tease, I think that
the answer would be, you know, you would do some
sort of teas with the Lions and the Seahawks. I mean,
that's what I would probably do. Maybe maybe get the
Eagles up to seven for Monday Night if you want
to do a three team or to lower the juice.
But I would just play saddle on a tease. There
was gonna a ton of close games, but I don't
trust them right. To be honest, I don't really know
(01:33:25):
if I trust them on the road in this spot,
so I would lean towards just teasing them. That's that's
my play on Seattle. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:33:32):
Hey, before I get into that game, guys, I don't
remember a year where half the season's over and there's
no clear cut winner to win the Super Bowl. Let
me just read bet MGMs odds Chiefs five and a
half to one, Bill six to one, Eagles eight to one,
Lions eight and a half, the one Rams eight and
a half one. There's no clear cut like using as
(01:33:53):
always someone that's you know, three to one compared to
six to one. This is the year of just flip
a coin. I mean, it's it's really unbelievable the odds
this year compared the previous year's hit when half the
year was over. Just something I noticed. I'll go over
to the Arizona game that this game, just when I
see these records and these teams, they I know, Seattle's
(01:34:16):
is six and two, but this Arizona team, they knocked
me out of the Grandi simo, that's only one hundred k.
Speaker 5 (01:34:22):
I understand it.
Speaker 6 (01:34:22):
It's a mean so I know, I they knocked me
and my team out, three of us, three guys partners.
I just I just never I try to look over
their games altogether or bet against them.
Speaker 4 (01:34:32):
By the way, that's that's when I lost Crack as
a friend, because I was just texting like, hey, oh,
was that good or bad Crack, And in Crack, no,
you said.
Speaker 6 (01:34:40):
Was that good or bad? For the contest And I
just just got knocked out of one hundred thousand dollars
contest entry fee and fourteen one thousand dollars. But however,
I usually don't get mad about about things like that
and I think we made up. I just have to
see you travel in the country, Brian, going to Notre Dame.
A couple of parts by the way, going California.
Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
That's great.
Speaker 6 (01:35:01):
Yeah, that was a fun Ye you're all over the country.
You're your America's guest. It's great. No, it's great. Anyway.
So three and five Arizona looks to get back in
the playoff race. That's the only thing I can tell you.
They have to win to get back in the playoff race.
Man six and two Seattle. These two teams played a
crazy game already back in September, Seattle kicking a walk
(01:35:22):
off field goal for the twenty three twenty win Cardinals.
Finally put together a good game on both sides of
the field last week. There. You know, I hate to
say this word, but it's the Cowboys good. They dominated
the Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (01:35:33):
They did.
Speaker 6 (01:35:35):
Back up quarterback Persette. He beat me up. I had
under on him. You know what's funny that Perset. The
last pass he threw was a nineteen yard completion. That's
what made him all over his yarchs. So that was
his last pass. But anyway, it looks like he'll be
the starter moving forward as the two hundred and thirty
million dollar man, Kyler Murray will take the bench until
(01:35:57):
he's healthy. Him ready, said, He said Gan, and so uh.
Seattle's pass attack has been surprisingly elite this season and
now adds the deep threat Rashid Shaheed to the mix.
They have struggled on the ground game this year, but
they did have one hundred and fifty five rushing yards
vers Arizona in that first matchup. This game can come
down to turnovers to Seattle leads the league in fubbles
(01:36:19):
with seven. Arizona forced four fumbles versus Dallas last week alone,
so it should be an interesting game. I like I said,
I try to look over the uh this Arizona team
and yeah, Brian, you're you're the suspension's over. We're up
for breakfast this week. I think it has it been a month?
Hold on, I had a month. I had an alert
(01:36:39):
a month. Yeah, it's going to go off today, it's
going off after today. It's been a month. It's going
off tonight.
Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
So the Lions banned for a month, good or a
bad result for grand for.
Speaker 6 (01:36:50):
A few flapjacks.
Speaker 4 (01:36:51):
Unfortunately it was a bad result. I had no I
I had no clue. I was like, is this good
or bad?
Speaker 6 (01:36:58):
For the k man?
Speaker 4 (01:36:59):
That's what that's terrible. There's a lot of breakfast good
right there. You know, but you mentioned, you mentioned a
lot of things. Two things that I wanted to hit
on real fast crack where listen, I think there's a
tendency where we look at the Cowboys as a joke. Right,
they are, but they have a real offense offense, and
they're playing on a fast track at home last Monday
(01:37:20):
night and Arizona shut them down, and that matters. And
the other thing that you mentioned, I think that we
sometimes gloss overt teams with the bad record. Arizona's three
and five, they won last week and they're three and five,
and you're just like, but they are desperate. This is
their season, right, Their season is on the line. Texans,
their season is on the line today. So sometimes those
(01:37:43):
teams playing with desperation, it's a good spot to back them.
Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
I got you, I got you. I'm looking at I
was looking at there the rest of their schedule as
you said that, you're right, You're right. They h's three
and six, They're done, They're totally.
Speaker 1 (01:37:56):
The Tyson Algier has got over fifty yards.
Speaker 4 (01:37:58):
Now there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
The live bets marked that down is an NFL win.
It's rare. I have to put that down.
Speaker 4 (01:38:05):
It goes on the official record right.
Speaker 1 (01:38:07):
There for record, hopefully unfortunately does go on the crowd
Challenge record. But yeah, I hit an NFL prop I'll
take it.
Speaker 4 (01:38:13):
There you go, very nice. All right, We've got Bill Krachenberger,
professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran hitting
props on the fly in game as well. I'm Brian.
Speaker 5 (01:38:22):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:38:22):

All right, Coming up next, this franchise is one of
(01:38:44):
the biggest brands in sports, and it has something in
common with the band Godsmack. We will fill you in
on that. Coming up. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by bet MGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff presented by bet mgm. Bet mgm has a
Pro Football boost pack giving you three ways to boost
your payout on a winning bet. Just log into your

legs specified on the token. If your boosted bet hits,
you'll score a bigger payout. Check it out in the
bet mgm app. It's been a weird game, man for
the Colts. They show glimpses of greatness, you know, huge
(01:39:29):
chunk plays, and then they're just awful. Sometimes it's amazing.
Perfect example, like Daniel Jones takes an eleven yard sack.
It's third and twenty one. You're like, dude, just throw
it away, don't take a sack like that. Next thing,
you know is rushing for I don't know, maybe nineteen
yards to set up fourth and short.
Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
It's been a crazy game. Yeah, maybe they're just not
as good as the record.
Speaker 6 (01:39:52):
I mean, I mean, maybe they are who we thought
they were.
Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
I mean, I mean, let them off the hook.
Speaker 6 (01:39:58):
Taylor's got two hundred and ten yards.
Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
By the way, he's going crazy.
Speaker 6 (01:40:02):
He's two hundred and ten yards. Daniel Jones fifty three
yards rushing, two hundred and twelve yards passing sixteen to
twenty two. The stats don't look bad, but maybe they
just are. Yeah, when we thought they were let them off. Look,
I mean, you know when I have like almost I'm
stuttering because I'll tell you why. There was so much
talk when this team was on top of the world. Now,
(01:40:24):
not that they're still not on top of the world,
but if they lose this game, you know, another big
loss for them. There is people saying how great they
are and the Super Bowls and they're Daniel Jones is back,
the team is back. Like it's amazing how everyone just
lives in the moment with these long shot teams. Like
you know, people were talking like Denver, this town Las
(01:40:46):
Vegas has more exposure on Denver, more risk. The bookmakers
do not want Denver into playoffs, even like there's like
because the public just loves to with these Cinderella teams
that just don't get there. They just don't get there.
And it looks like Indianapolis is one of those teams
that were being talked about and said, oh, that's not
gonna be my long shot play. And now they're losing
(01:41:09):
to teams they shouldn't be losing to.
Speaker 4 (01:41:11):
He looks like a pro wrestler right now, bloody mouth,
you know, looks like a you know, pro wrestling WWE
type trick right there. He looked like Bronco Nagirsky out there,
Daniel Jones. But hey, they're in field goal range right now.
They're trying it for more obviously, but one seven to go,
and it's been a ballgame, like we got some points
in an international game, been some Fireworks's been wild and wacky.
(01:41:32):
But I hear you crack right, like, this defense still
is just not good enough. You can't just depend on
out offensing teams every week. It's just not going to
work in the NFL. You got to bring some more defense.
And that's why they tried the blockbuster trade. I just
I don't think they're strong enough even with Sauce Gardner defense.
Speaker 6 (01:41:52):
That moved the line by the way half a point
and then lots of money, lots of money. When I
woke up this morning on Atlanta, this game was lots
of funny was coming on Atlanta this morning, So it
looks like they're gonna get there with the with the
spread unless there's an overtime. Something funky happens in overtime
or something. You know.
Speaker 4 (01:42:09):
That's why I need crack right against the e from Salam.
We need overtime and we need a Colt's cover. Right,
they get the ball in overtime, boom, touchdown point and
they'll kick it.
Speaker 1 (01:42:21):
And they could, and they kicked the extra point now
in overtime because the offense get a chance to answer for.
Speaker 4 (01:42:25):
Something, right if they get the ball first, right, like
if the Falcons got the ball and did nothing, if
the Colts score, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:42:32):
The firefield goal. They got time. They got plenty of
time here. I wonder if Atlanta should not call timeout. Yeah,
oh yeah, wait they did call time out.
Speaker 4 (01:42:41):
They called time out because they're thinking maybe time actually yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:42:47):
Yeah, yeah, though I didn't do this, Okay. They also
let like seven seconds run off the clock port they
called time out. Yeah, I just you know, I watched
these coaches and look, obviously I'm sitting here. It's easy
to do this from my chair. I get it. But
you watch them in the game management. Yeah, and college ball
is like Delon Sanders is bad. Watching yesterday, you're just like,
(01:43:08):
what what do these guys do you watch? These coaches,
You're like, what do you do? What do you prepare
for all weeks? Mores? Okay, okay, I tak it. I
apologize that they put the they did call the time
out imediately's twenty nine seconds off. They put six back
on the clock. Good, Okay, I take.
Speaker 4 (01:43:21):
It back right right, like.
Speaker 6 (01:43:23):
Twenty five twenty five.
Speaker 4 (01:43:25):
You got too good. You got twenty five seconds left
in two timeouts to try to get in field goal range.
Speaker 1 (01:43:31):
Right, These kickers are way too good now. It's just
it's a it's a problem. I mean, Iowa last I
hit a fifty hour field goal and a driving rainstorm.
Speaker 4 (01:43:38):
That's crazy.
Speaker 6 (01:43:38):
Like, yeah, it's like, what do you say when someone
misses an extra point? Then?
Speaker 1 (01:43:45):
I don't like, what's wrong with you?
Speaker 4 (01:43:47):
Is what you say?
Speaker 1 (01:43:48):
Colorado missed? Colorado missed a college extra point yesterday? Yeah, right,
which is impossible.
Speaker 4 (01:43:54):
Yeah, Notre Dame Irish Day against Boston College last week
they brought it at least two.
Speaker 1 (01:44:02):
Yeah, they they brought in two guys.
Speaker 4 (01:44:03):
So they missed two extra points and a short field
goal last week. They're kicking games a joke, man, It's
really sure.
Speaker 1 (01:44:10):
Good buddy who buddy fantastically yesterday that long touchdown run.
Speaker 4 (01:44:16):
All right, let's get let's do this real quick, Jeff.
Let's get I Loo in the mix and then we'll
go rapid fire preview style here with a couple of
the games left.
Speaker 3 (01:44:24):
I low.
Speaker 4 (01:44:25):
What's going on?
Speaker 6 (01:44:25):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:44:26):
What is the latest here?
Speaker 8 (01:44:27):
Indeed, twenty one seconds left on the fourth quarter in Berlin, Germany,
the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons are tied at twenty five.
As the Colts Michael Badgeley moments ago tied it with
a forty four yard field goal. The Falcons, with two
timeouts left, have the ball at their twenty six yard
(01:44:47):
line with twenty one seconds left in the fourth quarter.
Here's how we got here. The Falcons were up seventeen
to sixteen with just over six minutes left to play
on the fourth quarter. As we die in Indianapolis, Station WIBC.
Speaker 4 (01:45:03):
Under center Daniel Jones, straight kid to Jonathan Taylor.
Speaker 1 (01:45:06):
He's low over one hundred yards. He adds to his
total therey.
Speaker 6 (01:45:08):
He gets out.
Speaker 2 (01:45:09):
He's at the thirty thirty five forty PRI's the look sideline.
Speaker 3 (01:45:13):
He's got a chance.
Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
What news, He's twenty ten five touchdown. There's a record
priker for.
Speaker 8 (01:45:21):
Jonathan Taylor and it puts the Colt top.
Speaker 1 (01:45:25):
Twenty two to seventeen. Hello, little old time turn over.
The long time great Jonathan Taylor now has the most
rushing touchdowns the Cults history.
Speaker 8 (01:45:37):
Taylor up to two hundred and ten yards on twenty
six carries with two touchdowns. Falcons went back out in
front on a Tyler Algier one yard touchdown run to
go up twenty five to twenty two. But again the
Colts time and moments ago at twenty five at a
field goal by Michael Badgley twenty five twenty five Atlanta
with one last gas. We have the ball, a second
(01:46:01):
down and ten coming up as their quarterback Michael Pennix
Junior just got called for intentional grounding. By the way,
so nine seconds left in the fourth. Looks like that
game is headed to overtime. Third down and twenty coming
up for the Falcons from their sixteen yard line. We've
also fell has got some developing sad news out of
the NFL. Who was announced a short time ago that
former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabu passed away this morning at
(01:46:24):
the age of eighty four. Tagliaboo served as NFL Commissioner
from nineteen eighty nine to two thousand and six and
presided over the NFL's expansion from twenty eight teams to
thirty two teams, among other things. His seventeen year tenure
as commissioner also notable for labor piece no work stoppages
during his tenure as commissioner, which taglabou recalled during this
(01:46:48):
Hall of Fame induction speech in twenty twenty one.
Speaker 9 (01:46:51):
If labor piece was to be achieved, the clubs and
the players had to become genuine partners in some ways,
in some ways and ahead of the players Association would
always be adversaries, but they did not have to be
unrelenting antagonists.
Speaker 8 (01:47:07):
Again, Former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabu passing away this morning
at the age of eighty four. Guys, back to you.
Speaker 4 (01:47:14):
Thank you. I lo it is Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to kick Off, presented by Bett MGM. Yeah sad sad
news right there and tagli Boo. He did an amazing job.
He did a really, really good job when he was
Commissioner of the NFL. It's funny because of labor piece.
The one thing I remember, I don't know why the
most about Paul Tagliabu, it's when like the ownership and
(01:47:36):
the player's side, you know, they're butting heads over the
latest CBA negotiations, And is when Gene Upshaw was the
head of the Players Association and you know, they were
playing hardball and Paul Tagliabou said, it's about as dire
as dire can be, and he's like, I guess we'll
just proceed to the lockout. You know, they and they
(01:47:57):
worked it out, but you know, one day it's like
it's his diers dire can be. And then they had
a deal, you know, and they had labor labor piece.
But hey, man rest in peace. Did a great job.
And I know his family and loved ones will miss him.
But he was big for the NFL, no doubt about that. Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:48:13):
Battles are tough, man, absolutely for them not to have
any of that, yeah, good testament to him and Gen
option I wish Gene was still running our union, but obviously.
Speaker 4 (01:48:24):
Yes, yeah, yeah, no doubt. Okay, how about primetime games?
How about Steelers at the Chargers Chargers favored by two
and a half. I'll tell you what. I got to
give Jeff Schwartz a compliment over here because he texted
me something that I think could not be a better description.
It was last week's game, Steelers beat the Colts. They
(01:48:47):
forced six turnovers, right, the Steelers did, And Jeff just
texted Steelers voodoo, and I'm like, that is a perfect
description of the Steelers. And yes, this is one of
the the best for franchises, one of the best brands
in sports. And they have something in common with the
band Godsmack, who of course has the famous song voodoo
give you a little taste to taste a bit here
(01:49:09):
you go. That's the Steelers. Dude, Are they get in
store for more voodoo on the road here tonight because
they certainly did it last week against the Colts.
Speaker 1 (01:49:20):
Do we get what we get? One and a half
seconds before we have to we have to pay them
for paying that playing that song.
Speaker 4 (01:49:25):
It's okay, small noses, It's okay, you know it's all
right now. If I played like three minutes, yeah, we
would owe them are lives pretty much.
Speaker 1 (01:49:32):
Yeah. I have a buddy who does a podcast and
they drop sound like that and they only get like
one seconds of like a song, just do like one
sound right the songs, So you have to pay that
the rights fees. That was that was funny. So uh
look the Steelers, man, geez, they've had two wins this
(01:49:52):
here where they forced eleven turnovers and two wins. They
beat the Patriots force five the Colts have for six. Man,
I think I like the Chargers tonight, but will worries
me the offensive line right because offensive line without Joe
all day. They traded for Trevor Penning. It's better than
what they have. But also to like the Steelers defensive
line had looked really bad till last week. So what
is it is it? Is it Cam Hayber gonna look
have the found of youth this week again? Or is
(01:50:14):
it going back to Kim Hayward looking thirty seven? Is
what all of a sudden gonna be great? Or is
it what gonna be what he was the first eight
games of the season. Only Steriers are gonna score though.
That's the thing right. The Steelers offensively are just limited.
It can't really get the ball down the field. Chargers
defense can rush the passer. Now, Khalil mackus back. They
have some young guys playing well up front. So it's
(01:50:36):
a question of, like can the can the Chargers offensively
just not get Justin Herbert killed? It's that simple, right,
And so I leaned minus two and a half for
the Chargers crack. But again, like the Steelers, voodoo just
catches me all the time. It just does.
Speaker 6 (01:50:52):
Yeah, there was a group that just came in and
actually one of the groups that I know, and they
actually bet Chargers first half in this game. I didn't
bet it, but I just seen that on the screen
and I got the note. Another one this week that
could have huge playoff implications. Both teams with only three
losses so far. Steelers offense ranks twenty eighth in total
(01:51:14):
yards and have counted you know, for really, they're forcing
a league high sixteen turnovers so far. You know, I
can't stand this team though, you guys know I can't.
This is my kryptonite. I can't win betting them or
betting against them. This is my NFL cryptonite team like
(01:51:34):
the Yankees is in Baseball, can't better honor against them.
Pittsburgh is the team. I don't want to sound sound
like I'm so much disdained like I can't just just
that's my team that I can't be So Pittsburgh also
struggled on defense. They ranked thirtieth in total yards allowed.
These stats point towards the Steelers being again, like I
(01:51:55):
just said, I'll call them a fraud, a fraud five
and three team, but they keep it. But you know,
they keep winning games coming off a big upset versus
the Colts, and you know, going to the other side
of the ball. I'm not really a Chargers I not
really lifetime Chargers winner against too. You if you're picking
the number one and number two teams that I don't
really like the bet on or against, and listen, I
(01:52:18):
know it's math and algorithms and models, and I still
have that superstition in me though I think everyone does
with certain teams. Though the Chargers have been very balanced
though this year. On offense, they've they have the fifth
most productive offense. They've really struggled down on the red
zone though they're only converting fifty percent of the red
(01:52:38):
zone chances. I just read that before the show into
touchdowns and the Steelers have a good red zone d
So I'm staying away from this one. Like I said,
plan to stay away from Steeler games. I told you
they're can't get on the right side of those teams.
Speaker 4 (01:52:54):
It's a tough one, man. I think that for the
reasons Jeff laid this out. I think in this spot,
in this particular matchup, I can't trust either team. I
can't trust the Steelers defense, right crack. You mentioned all
the numbers, right, giving up a ton of yards, a
lot of points, like more than we're accustomed to with
the Steelers defense. And this Chargers offensive line is just
(01:53:14):
a wreck with these injuries.
Speaker 6 (01:53:16):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:53:16):
I'm watching them last week against the Titans. I don't
know how many times I'm like, what is happening with
this offensive line?
Speaker 6 (01:53:22):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:53:23):
And the Steelers can rush the passer with TJ. Watt.
So that's a tough call in this one. By the way,
interesting stat here, Herbert's tied to this one most rushing
yards by quarterbacks this season. Mahomes has the most to
eighty three, Drake May second with two sixty nine, then
Herbert with two sixty four. Those are your top three
(01:53:44):
rushing totals by quarterback this season. Pretty interesting stuff. Monday
Night game is going to be really good. We mentioned
it in Passing Eagles, Packers money coming in on the Eagles.
I'll have a play on this in the Crack Challenge.
I'll tell you that much. And we got to make
a little bit of time because we do have the
tire Rack Play of the Day. Let's do that right here. Yeah,
(01:54:24):
there it is Fernando Mendoza touchdown pass to Omar Cooper Junior.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better catch than that.
One foot in the back of the end zone. Is amazing.
That call on Fox Sports right there, compliments of Gus Johnson.
He's still with us. We have reports he's still breathing. Oh,

everybody who's served. I always say this, Like my mom
had a little sticker on her car it said freedom
isn't free, and we absolutely, you know, are in gratitude
(01:56:22):
for everything that everyone has done for our freedom. Here
as hey, your MVP ticket looking a little bit better there.
Jonathan Taylor with the walkoff touchdown for the Colts right there,
as they win by six. Of course, if they got
the ball first, they'd be kicking the extra point and
covering right here. But a lot doesn't work out that way.
So whatever, say la vi. Let's get to the picks.
(01:56:42):
Let's do it by.
Speaker 5 (01:56:46):
Five games against the spread. We call it all it
the crack challenge.
Speaker 4 (01:56:51):
All right, Jeff, we start with you.
Speaker 6 (01:56:53):
What do you like.
Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
One and nine the last two weeks? So I'm doing
or I just stink that those are the two options
you definitely do here, Ma, you're picking shoes Giants plus
five and a half. We'll make the card a Bucks
minus two and a half. Let's do that. I like
the Chargers minus two and a half at the Eagles
(01:57:16):
plus one whatever, and Eagles plus one. That's part of life.
I mean one more, don't I m.
Speaker 7 (01:57:26):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:57:26):
You know what I'll do. Uh jeez, I'll do the
Lions minus eight. I think the Lions, first of all,
in revenge spots, they've been really good. It's a revenge spot,
and what are the Commanders playing for? I just think
the Lions take control of this game. It's really again,
this is the one of the ninety people on the Lions.
I don't really care. I'll take the Lions.
Speaker 4 (01:57:45):
Okay, I've got one agreement. It is the Lions. I'm
with you on that. I just at least said the
Commanders give up big plays all day long. It's a
good spot. You know, Like the Lions underperformed last week.
They'll be locked in. Plus it's a team that knocked
them out of the playoffs last season. They're not sleep
walking through this game at all.
Speaker 5 (01:58:02):
Staff for you guys, real quick.
Speaker 8 (01:58:03):
Lions have not lost back to back games since two
thousand and twenty two.
Speaker 4 (01:58:07):
Wow, there you go, nice nugget with a Grittanola bar.
You know I had detect a little, you know, apple cinnamon.
Speaker 5 (01:58:13):
You know, No, it's a breakfast freedom.
Speaker 1 (01:58:15):
Very nice.
Speaker 4 (01:58:16):
The disagreements, I'm gonna take the points with the Pats
and I'm gonna lay the one point with the Packers.
I think the Packers just played the level of their competition.
It's a it's a you know, it's a reoccurring theme here.
So they suck against the Panthers. I think they'll play
way better against the Eagles. I think they're gonna win
the game. So I'll lay the point. I'll take the
(01:58:39):
Texans minus one, love them in the spot seasons on
the line, and the last one, I'm gonna hold my
nose and take Arizona plus seven. They play nothing but
close games, you know, I'll take Arizona plus the points.
All right, let's get to more picks.
Speaker 6 (01:58:53):
Let's get.
Speaker 5 (01:58:56):
Rapid fire.
Speaker 4 (01:58:58):
All right, crack, what do you have for us?
Speaker 6 (01:59:00):
Let's go to the prop market. Washington Commanders Chris Rodriguez
under twenty eight and a half rushing yards. I think
he's gonna be there. Their number one guy over there,
So let's go Rodriguez under rushing yards.
Speaker 4 (01:59:13):
Okay, anything else do you want to mention?
Speaker 6 (01:59:16):
Jeff?
Speaker 1 (01:59:18):
I trying to find some of those rushing bops. I
think they went down for a second kind of I
was gonna I was gonna parlay the the the Dolphin
stafford under us see how life goes for mabout Yeah,
K what I really like?
Speaker 6 (01:59:29):
Hey, guys, I just made a fumble. It's over. It's
over rushing yards. He's going to be their number one guy.
Over Rodriguez rushing yards.
Speaker 4 (01:59:36):
Okay, I'll go team total. I'll take Tampa under twenty
five and a half. I like the Pats defense. I
think it's the spot right. Tampa's still not healthy, banged
up Bucky Irving, banged up wide receivers, offensive line isn't healthy.
I'll take under twenty five and a half for Tampa.
Let's get the cracks play of the day.
Speaker 5 (01:59:54):
This is the best play of the Day's down, man,
all right?
Speaker 4 (02:00:00):
It is go to basketball.
Speaker 6 (02:00:01):

Speaker 4 (02:00:06):
