Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Living the dream once again. Here on a fully loaded
NFL Sunday.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It is week.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
This is in Zone Radio in the Fox Sports Radio studios.
We got seven games kicking off right now. Giants at
the Bears, Bill's at the Dolphins, Ravens at the Vikings,
Browns at the Jets, Patriots at the Buccaneers, Saints at
the Panthers, Jaguars at the Texans, and one game in
the books, first game ever played in Berlin. The Colts

(00:32):
come back and they get a big win against the
Falcons thirty one to five. The story of this game,
Jonathan Taylor. Could we be talking MVP thirty two carries,
two hundred and forty four yards and three touchdowns VJA
Big Sunday ahead of us. We got a lot of

(00:53):
ground to cover today Week ten. We are now past
the halfway point of the NFL season. But this performance
by Jonathan Taylor in light that quarterback play has really
been not mind blowing by any stretch of the imagination
due to injuries subpar performances, is it time to recognize

(01:13):
the possibility of a running back. It has not happened
since Adrian Peterson are we thinking that Jonathan Taylor could
be in that conversation to win the big prize most
Valuable Player of the National Football League.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Absolutely, we can start the discussion. We should start the discussion.
It should be a discussion, and it's gonna be a discussion.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
All the way into the end.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
And you know why because on the cusp of the
Indianapolis Colts probably locking up the number one seed in
the AFC playoff race, wanting to get some guys some
rest that last week like we've.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Seen, oh yeah, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Just last year we went through this exact same thing,
and it called Sakwan Barkley the all time season leading
rushing record because he was gonna get it, guys, he
was gonna get that, and it cost him that and
it also cost him the Most Valuable Player award for
twenty twenty four in the NFL. The same thing is

(02:15):
going to happen this year. Jonathan Taylor right now, in
my opinion, is the best back in football.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Him and be Jon Robberson. B Jon Robinson catches a
little more.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
But right now you want to turn and give the
forty what That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Let's talk about that's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Feed the horse, Feed the horse, feed the horse, dog man,
let the big dog eat.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So yes, it's a great convo to have. Let's have it.
We should continue it. But mark my words, get the
VJ was right. Sound ready for week seventeen. Week eighteen,
they're gonna say, well, with everything sewing up, Steve, the
Colts are sitting, Daniel Jones, the Colts are sitting, and
Jonathan Taylor and there will go his MVP.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
All right.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
So that was an entertaining game, the one game that
was not entertaining. And I haven't heard whether or not
this is the first time this ever happened, But that
Thursday night debacle between the Broncos and the Raiders. Has
there ever been a game in NFL history were both
teams not one team. Both teams actually had more penalties

(03:11):
than points. Yeah, both teams had eleven penalties. The final
score was ten to seven. I haven't heard that.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I mean it has to be.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Well, I mean maybe a a team has done it. Yeah,
that's okay, but both teams end up with more penalties
than points. And remember last year we get through the season,
we were talking about the Chiefs were the worst eight
and one team nine to ones because they were winning ugly.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I'm gonna put it this way.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
And you know how I feel about the Broncos because
I have them in the AFC Championship game on my
preseason prediculous. This is the worst eight and two team
I've ever seen in my life.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
More than the Steelers two years ago.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
More than the Steelers. And I'll tell you why. Bownicks,
who I've been hyping up like crazy. He literally is
regressing every single week like he is overthrowing passes. And
when you start overthrowing a lot of passes, that means
you're just chucking it up.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You're you're just throwing the ball.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You're just chucking it up hoping that your guy is.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Going to catch them.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I'm giving your guy a chance. You're hoping he makes
a play. You're hoping. There doesn't seem to be any
rhyme or reason to it. It's just shocking to me,
with Sean Payton as your coach, that this is what's
happened to bo Nicks. But in spite of that, they
won seven straight games. It is absolutely crazy right now.
So yeah, by the way, later on we're gonna do
it's that time of the season. We've got to get serious, right, Like,

(04:28):
where are we? As we are in week ten of
the NFL season, we're gonna introduce our power fives.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Doubt we're gonna be on the same page.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Honestly, if you if you look at it right now,
this is going to be too hard.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
It is really to come up with these five teams
over the weekend, which I did is I literally was
up till about two o'clock. This more, of course watching
games reruns and rewatching games on DVR like I do.
I said, okay, you know, let me just look at
this list again. And I was like, man, this this
is tough.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
But I think it makes for great content I'm making
in the context behind the teams, it's gonna matter.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
But this was really really because if you just look
at the record.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Let me give you two teams, like, what do you
do with the Seahawks?

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Right?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
What do you do with the New England Patriots?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Right?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Okay, I mean those are just two teams right now.
Seattle's at six and two, New England's at seven and two?
Are they top five teams? I mean record wise, they're
in the conversation, But are they so we'll have that
coming up a little bit later.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Show.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I'll throw two more at you too. What do you
do with Denver and what do you do with the Chargers? Yeah,
that's a boy, big game tonight for the charge you. Yeah,
and you know somehow they survived against the Titans. I
got news for you. The Steelers are not the Titans.
And with both of your offensive tackles out for the year,

(05:45):
the Steelers are licking their chops right now to get
after Justin Herbert. All right, as far as the game's
going on right now, Cook, we are waiting. Last week
we had all this scoring Earl, we have zero.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
We don't have.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
But now I look up a walk in touchdown for
Tampa Bay Buka the Buccaneers Taylor and so the Buccaneers
and the Patriots. Huge battle between these two teams right now. Again,
the Patriots on a six game winning streak seven and two.
By the way, the Patriots are four and zero on

(06:18):
the road this year. But Tampa goes right down the
field Baker Mayfield opening drive three for three, fifty two
yards and that score. So Tampa Bay right off the bat,
and that's what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You got a big matchup.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
You're at home, you got the ball, first, go down score,
let's let's let's let's see if they can chase us.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
This is a huge game for the Patriots because the
Patriots opponents a combined record so far this year, guys,
is fourteen and thirty nine. Yes, they have beaten Atlanta, Cleveland, Tennessee,
New Orleans, the Panthers in Miami right like that they
and this is a team that lost to the Raiders,
like this is the team the Raiders beat. This game

(06:59):
is huge today because this is gonna really show. We've
had the Drake May conversation last week with with Bo
asking me about Drake May. Then we talked about who's
more Food's gold was the Patriots? Was it the Broncos.
That's why once again this power five in the next
hour and this thing is it was tough, But today
I think was the perfect day to start.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
This because we're gonna find out a lot.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
We're gonna get some course as that this Baltimore Vikings game.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Vikings at home, you should get this one.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
But Lamar's back and they've had ten days because the
last time they played with Miami on the Thursday night,
they're getting some of their defense back.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Kyle Hamilton looks like defensive but.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
You say, Lamar's back, but so is JJ McCarry.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, but you know what though, you know that's my guy.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
But this is this, This Baltimore defense is got healthy,
which they weren't earlier in the year.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
They got their guys back on defense.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
This is a tough matchup for both of these teams
today because Flores has this defense, but you're going against
Lamar Jackson who's got ten days since his last game.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, so these are all big matchups at this time.
But it just again, this has been a season in
my opinion, that's still searching for an identity. Right, We're
still waiting for this season and identity. You know, I
sit here right now and I thought the Eagles sort
of got back on track because Sae Kwon Barkley got
back on track. But you say that one week and

(08:11):
the next week it's out the window. And this is
the thing. So interesting game here with the Bills. He
insured Dolphins, Dolphins at home. You know again, this is
a season loss. Already twos thrown an interception that didn't
take long in this game. So the Bills have the ball.
But are the Bills there right? I mean, if you
look at right now in the AFC standing they have

(08:31):
the fourth best record in the a f C. They're
behind Denver, They're behind New England, they are behind who else?
Who are they behind there? That's yes, So they're behind
the Broncos, the Colts and New England right now, sitting
at six and two. By the way, in case anyone

(08:54):
doesn't know this, the Chiefs were their loss, the predictable
loss whatever. I was hyping this up last week.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
What it wasn't in a big call, Steve. They can't
beat Buffalo in the regular seasons.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
And my question was, but people were hyping them up
like they were back, all right? The Vikings have made
a big play down. This is again the problem for
the Ravens is the fact that it was a beautiful.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
It was just a beautiful throw by jab well it was.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
But after catches the ball, anybody gonna tackle him?

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I mean, come on, I.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Hate tackling in the NFL now, just ridiculous. You hate
tackling in the NFL nowadays.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Well because it's nonexistent. Look at that, Look at that?
You just great drops this ball? Man drops this ball?
Come on okay, and right there. No, the second one
was bad. That one right there? Another one, yeah, that one,
that one right.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
There was bad.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Okay, So anyway, No, it was a great throw, but
the extra twenty yards is on the defense.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
All right.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
We're just getting started.

Speaker 2 (09:54):

First down at the patreet twenty one yard line, farside
had play action Bake dropping the thought Baker Mayfield Gosaballa
fix on the five through two up touch stoff Tampa
Bay touched out Tampa Bay.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Great decision, my finger. Mayfield look left through right and
they'll poop potentials into the give zone. Ninety a Rock

Radio on YouTube and subscribe. Quick update of the scoreboard
right now. Jaguars get a field goal early, taking a
three to nothing lead. Again the Texans, and now they

(12:01):
have a second and goal at the Texans seven yard line.
So Jags off to a good start. Panthers, they're in
the conversation, folks for a playoff. Daddoll gets into the
end zone seven to nothing lead over the Saints. No
score with the Jets and Browns. That game could end
in a scoreless tie. By the way, that hasn't happened
in the NFL since nineteen forty three. Vikings with the

(12:22):
early seven to nothing lead over the Ravens, Giants, Bears, Bills, Dolphins,
no score right now. Okay, so we got a lot
of things happening right now. Vikings got that early score.
Now we're going to see where the Ravens are. Are
the Ravens still in the playoff conversation City had three
and five or they have too much ground to make up.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
I'll tell you this conversation has been really interesting because
if you watched the game against the Dolphins, even Al
Michaels and Herbstreet, we're both very adamant about they still
having a shot because of that gentleman on the screen
right there, TWU TOMMVP should have been a third last year.
The most Dangerous Player at the quarterback position in the league.
Lamar Jackson and a hamstring for a guy like him mcgroin,

(13:03):
anything like that's gonna hold him back. They had some
guys out and like I said, Kyle Hamilton looks like
defensive player of the year if it doesn't go to
Miles Garrett. The way they've moved him down on the
line now and allow him to kind of play like
a viper position and kind of do what he wants
to do is a good thing for this defense. And
then you got ro Quwan Smith back at linebacker. They're
still suffering that corner, but they made trades of the deadline.
Before the deadline, they brought guys in like they still

(13:24):
feel like. And I mentioned last week the percentages with
the highest in the AFC North to win the division
at that point was the Baltimore Ravens at fifty one percent.
They over Cincinnati, over Cleveland, over the Steelers, over everybody,
because people know that guy right there can get it done.
So yes, they're still in the conversation you gotta get
this one today. I don't think I wouldn't like them
fall into three and six, but going on the road,

(13:47):
getting a win at Minnesota today against a Flores led
defense would be spectacular.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
For the team. As we just watched Mark Andrews drop
a wide.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
You see that.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
You see that throw right there over the safety, over
the linebacker and drops it in over to safety.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
The safety leaves the corner. He's late. That's Matellus from
Michigan late getting there. That is a drop.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I mean, dropping passes with those gloves on are inexcusable.
People have no idea. You just see guys with gloves on.
If you ever had these NFL gloves on, it would
seem almost impossible to actually drop the football. But Mark
Andrews dropped that one.

Speaker 9 (14:24):
So yeah, can Steve I believe a minute ago you
were talking about the Browns Jets game ending in a
scoreless tie. Yes, you may be the greatest jinks in
the history of mankind. The Cleveland Browns have scored a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yes, they have Dylan Gabriel on his way to securing
that starting job for the next fifteen years. Not he
did throw a touchdown pass there. So the Browns due
to lead the Jets by a score.

Speaker 9 (14:46):
Can you tell me that I will never make a
million dollars?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I told say that this is going to be the
worst best game of the day. You watch, you watched
what I tell you that. We tried it on the TVs.

Speaker 9 (14:57):
We had it on the TVs, but after they both
went three and out to sto we put it on
the Bears Giants game because it's a snowing. It's snowing
and we got throw and this wind is like sideway.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
That's a good by the way I just mentioned after
the Andrews drop it's impossible to drop passes.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Likely just did the same thing.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
I mean, right through his hands and so the Ravens
have to end up with a field goal to get it.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, yeah we did it.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Boy that you see that Notre Dame game yesterday, Man,
it was snowing yesterday, that Notre Dame Navy game.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Yeah we got some snow.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Oregon beautiful, uh beautiful, like that rainy weather like Wisconsin
and Washington. I watched that late last night, Like, no,
this is this is what I miss about living on
the East Coast. This is it's a real season.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Do you really see?

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Here's the thing I do.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I have lived my entire life in southern California, and
people say, well, what what is different about living in
southern California. We don't have weather. Right like almost everywhere
else on the planet. The first thought you have every
day is what's the weather? Okay, so I have to
adjust due weather. We don't have weather.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
You've never seen.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
There is no weather. We don't have seasons.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
You know, hooke up in the morning and they're two
feet of snow on the ground. You guys haven't lived yet.

Speaker 9 (16:18):
No.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Look, my sister, as you know, the valley girl that
has lived in Iowa for over forty years, and she
is dealt with all kinds of extreme weather over the
many many years. And I've asked her many times. I go,
how do you deal with it?

Speaker 1 (16:31):
She goes?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
You just she goes. I'll tell you what she goes.
Here's what's great. Spring and fall. Yes, summers are brutal,
winters are brutal. But when spring comes out of winter,
when the fall comes out of summer, it is absolutely euphoric.
And it's only for about six weeks, about six weeks

(16:54):
on both sides. Summer bakes you in your living room
as tooges through a much down pass the make up
for as I and see.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I'll let you take this with Steglit talk.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
About no, no, no, no. All we can say is
it's been a long, long, long Oh it ain't over
on season.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
It ain't over. They can fit us ten and seven and.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Eight, all right, So the there it is. The Dolphins
get in the end zone and looking to tack on
the extra points, so to to Washington their nine yards score,
and again we get back to what we were talking
earlier about the Buffalo Bills. I mean, they are my
preseason pick to win the Super Bowl this year, and

(17:34):
they have stumbled and this would be a disastrous loss.
But if you look at it, Buffalo has struggled in
Miami over the years. All right, So seven nothing, Dolphins
take the early lead. Bears, here's another team very much
in the playoff picture. They're five and three right now.
They just took a seven to nothing lead.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Do you believe in them now? Because we can say
these records.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
I'm trying to stay away from records today because the
tape is gonna really.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Tell the story. When you put the tape on of the.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Chicago Bears, I have a different stage. But again it's
hypocritical VJ. Because you and I are both of the
accord that look, you are what you are, You are
what your records are style points in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
That's right, not style points. But there are reasons why
you are five and three. There are reasons.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Why there's a reason why Diver's eight and two. Does
anybody believe Diver is gonna is a really good football team?
Do they have a great defense? Which one like it?
It's okay to.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Say that they don't even have a great defense. Well,
I mean, I mean they have a good defense.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Tell that to uh Geno Smith.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Come on, anything you do against this is why people
were all hyped up obviously about the Chiefs. You know,
well look at the Chiefs. They dominated, they shut out
the Raiders, they go does that even count? By the way,
it is a parent that Pete Carroll will not get
fired during the season.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
If he was gonna get fired now would have been
the top. Not during the season. But I have a
feeling there. Could they fire a special teams coach?

Speaker 5 (19:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah, when you start firing coaches like it's it's you
know it's coming.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
And we acts last week even marshallero, could you fire
him after year one?

Speaker 3 (19:16):
And we're kind of getting fifty to fifty from people
both right, Like even people in the business there there
are people fifty to fifty on it.

Speaker 9 (19:21):
Can you guys, guess which team just scored a touchdown
on a ninety nine yard kickof return, Jets, Jets.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
I'm telling you it's gonna be the worst best game
of the day.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
I'm telling you, guys.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Man so I said scoreless times, it'll be like.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
This is gonna be this guy's gonna be thirty one
to thirty.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
I'll tell you another team that's playing a little catch
up right now, and that's the Texans. Well, you talk
about a team and a must win situation, Texans at
home three and five going up against the Jaguars. You
know Division RIEBU mean, you've got to win this game
one and Jack's are up ten to nothing and Davis
Mills is looking lousy to start this game.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
And that's the problem. You don't have your quarterback.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Oh, by the way, you guys know where the number
is now for backup stuff had to start this year,
we're up to fifteen. That is now almost officially we
can say half the league has had.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
To start their backup quarterback.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Speaking a terrible Trevor Lawrence, he is one for four.
They're like he threw a touchdown pass. That's his only completion.
He threw a seven yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington.
He's one for four seven yards. Yeah, he's one and
a half and the Vegas had it a one and
a half. I took the Texas because I just don't
believe in the Jaguars and I love the Texas defense.
You're talking about it. I hope it's in the league.

(20:38):
I love at home that defense. Yes, in a game
you need to win.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
But they have a backup quarterback. That's the that's the
only caveat in this game.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Man, his day day, Well, what's worse a backup quarterback
or Trevor Lawrence backup quarterback.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Let's not do that.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
See here's another quarterback that is not Trevor Lawrence is regressing,
he's getting progressively.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
War get in on this.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
I don't know what the thing I'm because I think
it's the easy thing to like be out on them.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
But has he had a fair shake though? Man, who's
Trevor Lawrence?

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Well, he he's so promised heard coaching and urban mind
there was that was a lost year.

Speaker 9 (21:17):
Yeah, but he has a second contract.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Because you gotta pay your quarterback. We've talked to you.
Got it? Yes, you do? You do they will?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
You mean like they yo, whoa whoa, whoa whoa.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Let him get to the playoffs team?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
I mean you mean to pay brock perty they.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Did, Guys, he got him to a super Bowl. You
gotta pay him. That's the way the game is going.
He got the super Bowl. That's the way it goes.

Speaker 10 (21:40):
Next.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Man, I've always felt this way, all the way back
to Matt and Ryan, when Matt Ryan got his deal
and hadn't.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Got to the quarterback position.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Is this If you feel like that's your guy, sooner
or later, you have no choice but to pay you.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
You mean like the Giants did for Daniel Jones.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Won a playoff game onner and I agree with you.
You and I we are safe. I guess the thing is,
let's let's take a little research. But how many times
have we had those rookie contracts extended, big second deal,
huge money, and then quarterbacks regress?

Speaker 2 (22:15):
From that point on, I'll keep bringing up there. Regrets
point not get better, get regrets.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
The franchise has to know how to develop a quarterback
in every franchise don't know how to do it well.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
But it's amazing because when you're extending these deals, usually
the guy's been at least three or four years in
the system that if convinced you he is our franchise quarterback.
So why are they regressing? Why are they not getting
I guess I don't know. When you're suddenly making forty
million dollars a year, fifty million dollars.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
A year, that's making what sixty.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
And by the way, it's not just the quarterback position.
We had so many of these situations. There's so many
players in this league that once they get that huge
second deal, they're never the same guy, never the same guy.
Hung it goes. Football takes it. When they're piling in
all that money in your bank account. It's only human
nature football tape. You're just not nearly as hungry. Speaking

(23:08):
of hungry, she helps out every weekend by starting our
day by bringing in nourishment, the great Manzi Blonios great segue.

Speaker 11 (23:17):
I thought you were gonna say, speaking of hungry, she's
always hungry, and I was gonna be like.

Speaker 10 (23:20):
I am, I am always hungry. But that was nicer
of you to say.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I was never gonna do that, because I've seen Mansie
eat and she's tiny, but she can put it away.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
She can put it away down, put it down. I
got it.

Speaker 11 (23:38):
I work out a lot of people and try I
work out a lot in order to eat most of the.

Speaker 10 (23:42):
Things I want. But I have to.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I have to because, by the way, she's not nibbling
at lettuce. Okay, now you'll eat real food.

Speaker 11 (23:52):
See.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
I love that about all women. I love women.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
You know, there was never anything more frustrating when you
go out on a date and you know and they're
not and then they're not going to eat.

Speaker 11 (24:02):
Right.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
I have no problem.

Speaker 10 (24:08):
Exactly exactly. I know we're gonna dive into the NFL.

Speaker 11 (24:11):
But can I give you some breaking news out of baseball?

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yes, okay.

Speaker 11 (24:16):
Jeff Passing just tweeted that Cleveland Guardians pictures, Emmanuel class
and Louis Orthis have been indicted by prosecutors in Brooklyn
on a host of charges related to his scheme to
rig bets on pitches thrown in MLB games or Theis
was arrested in Brooklyn earlier today. Class A is not
currently in custody.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
And class was putting up Simons.

Speaker 10 (24:40):
Same those videos, Yeah, like the video, but.

Speaker 11 (24:43):
The ones he threw when he threw those pitches. It
was like, Pappy, you threw it three ft in front
of you. That could have been more obvious that you
were throwing that.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Pitch like, you know, how did he go from unhittable
to two?

Speaker 10 (24:55):
I'm in the dirt. I'm in the dirt.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Like what Donnie he sat on, sat on the news
channel and said, if you think this NBA gambling scandal
this big, he.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Goes, guys, this is the tip of the ice.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Right, Yes, that's the guy who knows right, you know,
first here here it comes.

Speaker 11 (25:11):
Yeah, all right, sports next in.

Speaker 10 (25:15):
The NFL, No, they just fight it out, so it's
a little easier. They just throw down. You know what
I'm saying. If people could just fight sometimes and people
will be a little more calmer, you know what I'm saying.
That's why I don't think so.

Speaker 11 (25:24):
There the Dolphins on the scoreboard first at home against
the Bills, to a tugo by low I connected with
Malik Washington. The Bills are at midfield, driving down, but
Dolphins are up right now seven zero late in the
first quarter. Bears over the Giant seven zero late in
the first in Chicago as well, Ravens got on the
board with the field goal you guys mentioned it a
couple drops from some of the Ravens receivers. Vikings are

(25:45):
up seven to three late in the first quarter. The
Jets have added another touchdown, so now they are on
top of the Browns fourteen to seven.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Halfway through the first quarter.

Speaker 11 (25:55):
Yeah, New York with kickoff return for a touchdown.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
First, how did they score a again? Bo this just happened.

Speaker 9 (26:02):
It was a punt return for a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Oh goody.

Speaker 9 (26:06):
The special started right as the updates started. They scored
on I par.

Speaker 11 (26:09):
Job stop Baker Mayfield on their opening drive, connected with
the Mecca booka. Buccaneers up on the Patriots seven zero
late in the first and the Panthers are up on
the Saints seven three late in the first. Regal Dawdle
with a rushing touchdown already, Jaguars over the Texans ten
zero late in the first Things aren't looking very good
for Houston so far.

Speaker 10 (26:28):
You know, started.

Speaker 11 (26:29):
The first opening drive with an interception, then fumbled on
the kickoff, and here they are with Davis Mills and
that quarterback.

Speaker 10 (26:36):
So Houston not moving the ball very well. Back to
you guys, all right, thank you very much, much see.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Once again, we're in the Fox Sports radio studios. So
get this. The Jets have a ninety nine yard kickoff
return for a touchdown. Yeah, and a seventy four yard
punt return for a touchdown. Dylan Gabriel, who they are
one hundred percent committed to. They're committed off to a
fast start, three for nine, twenty seven yards in a score.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
We ain't gonna talk about that, but I want to
comment just real fast on Monte Tom about players fighting
it out as much easier if she would let people fight.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Mike Tyson once famously said.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Social media made people very comfortable with running their mouth
without getting punched in it.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
And that's and there you go, right, So that was
what Mike Tyson said.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I'm like, wow, that's true, that's true. Have we ever
had a team? The Jets have fourteen points, They have
two yards of offense. Justin Fields is two for two
for one yard, and Breze Hall has one carry for
one yard, So they have two yards one yard passing,
one yard rushing, and they lead the Browns fourteen to seven.

(27:44):
Week ten, Steve and again, all of this happened as
soon as I came on and predicted the possibility of
the first scoreless tie we seen in the NFL since
nineteen forty three. All right, the Giants, speaking of coaches,
Brian Dable done you to? Okay, So let's let's let's

(28:04):
look at that Giants job for a second here, right. Obviously,
the scataboo andjury is devastating, really took the life out
of the room, so to speak. Jackson Dart has ability.
Is it going to develop into a franchise quarterback? That's
what you're looking for right are you're looking for a
franchise quarterback? Is this a job that you would seek
out right now? If you are a head coaching guy

(28:29):
in demand, in other words, some it will obviously get
the job. But if you're one of those guys that
several teams are looking at, you know, like Ben Johnson
was a year ago, is that a job you want?
Is that a fixable team?

Speaker 1 (28:44):
The New York Giants?

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Yeah, but only for one guy in my opinion right now.
It's so let's see another name that makes more sense
to me, and it's Lane Kiffin because Lane Kiffin is
the one who developed Jackson Dart into this Jackson Dart
that people think could be the guy who Okay, so
who got him this far?

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Lake? If it?

Speaker 3 (29:02):
What do we just talk about before Monsei's great update?
Developing quarterbacks? You have to have guys that develop quarterback.
I'll take a chance on the guy who's developed the
hit enough to the point to where people in the
league are looking at him and saying he could be.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
I mean, come on, think about Trevor Hornson. A year
four to five. We're still saying he could be.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
But you're looking at Jackson, start thinking, Okay, we might
got a franchise guy here.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Hmm. Should we just go hire some young, hot shot
new culture.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Maybe we go get the most wanted guy right now
in all of football?

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Right who wants him? In college? Everybody does. He's leaving Miss.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Okay, he's not coaching at Old Miss next year. He's
either going to be at another school. He's gonna be
in the NFL, but he will not be an Old
Miss next year. I think this job. The defense is solid.
The defense got young pieces on it. They've drafted a
big time line like you got Elie Neighbors coming out,
you go, you got weapons.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
The Giants have stuff there.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Okay, so this comes down to I agree with your
obvious choice, being that he was his college coach. He
obviously knows Jackson Darti the NFL before. Sorry, no, he
was no, no, no, How it goes according to how
Davis Lance Kiffen was the coach Lane Kiffin as he
was introduced one hundred years ago. Well, let me ask

(30:13):
you this. You're absolutely right about Lane Kiffin. I mean
he's in the driver's seat. Alis you want some, Florida
want some? All these schools want him right now, Penston,
did you rather? I mean the money is the same,
if anything, some of these college coaches can actually make
more than NFL coaches. He's had the NFL experience. Obviously,
his father was a NFL coaching legend. Defensive cordion money,

(30:35):
Kiffin money. Do you really want to go back to
the NFL or do you want to continue to rake
in the money? Develop the kids at the collegiate level.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
He's already proven he can do that. And in his
interview I watched two weeks ago, he said he's never
taken I don't know if he's telling the truth or not.
I can only go about what the man told the
person he was talking to. I've never taken a job
because of the money, do you does he look like
he's riding around at Lamborghinis and custom Bitley's into. No,
that's not him. So his money is good, his generational
wealth is good. He's made so much money. But if
you want to be the best at something and you

(31:06):
kind of fail and you gotta fall back, you always
have an eye to get back to that. Well, by
the way, proofs to yourself. I can do it at
the top level of the game.

Speaker 12 (31:16):
I'm in.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
And he had the prime example Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll
NFL coach jobs, dried up, takes the USC job, rebuilds
his career, goes back to the NFL, ends up winning
Super Bowl two of them. And then they were inseparable
at USC. I got stories. I'm not gonna show. Hey,
let's just say this. Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin, they

(31:41):
rolled together. Let's put that one man. They just moved
out here.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
When my first when I first moved out here from
the East goes is when USC just got going. After
Pete Carroll's second year, is when I touched down in
La so I saw it all up close.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
The person allowed here.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yeah, they rolled, they rolled. Life was good at USC, Yeah,
really good.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Really good.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
There was that point in the mid two two thousands
there when SC he was in the midst of that
thirty four game winning streak where and Dodgers were down,
you know, Lakers are. It was one of that that
little window. Just USC football literally owned, the city owned it.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Shack had just got traded. So it was Kobe and and.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
The falling off the mat and that that window right there,
oh four o five.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
It was all SC. It was all sc SC.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Matt Lioner when he came back to USC after winning
the Heisman, had him in studio about that that exactly
at the time. I go, can you can you give
us a little sense of what it's like to be
you know, the ultimate like big man on campus, Matt
Liner right now. And he just sort of looked at
me and goes, what do you think?

Speaker 1 (32:46):
What do you think?

Speaker 13 (32:47):
Right?

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Not big man on campus, big man in the city.
Oh yeah, big man in the city.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Big.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
I saw Reggie Bush at a club one night. I
couldn't believe that the he haden. I'm like, this guy's
a college running back. He's not even in the league.
They yeah, we've been drafting him.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
New England just got on the board. As made to
Williams seventy two yard touchdown for New England. So New
England an extra point away from tying this up, and
they do so seven all Kyle Williams on the receiver
and then Drake May. Now we can we keep talking
about MVP candidates.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Stop.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
If New England wins the AFC East, if New England
goes fourteen and.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Three, he'll be in the conversation, but he'll be in
the conversation, but he won't win the MVP.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Okay, I'm just I'm just saying together throughout the names.
All Right, we got a lot of games, seven games
going on around the NFL. Will continue to update two
scored stats, the analysis.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Everything you need. This is end zone radio.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Second and eleven. Gordon the running back, Wuadal flank to
the right, play action to.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
A time going tea down.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
The side has got one throw touchdown. What a throw?

Speaker 1 (34:05):
What a catch?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
That's Fox spars nine forty Dolphins Radio network. Look out.
Dolphins did miss the extra point, but they leave the
Bills by a score of thirteen to nothing. And this
is no fluke, folks. Total yards in this game Miami
one hundred and thirty two Bills thirty one two of
six or seven eighty yards two touchdowns. Uh oh, and

(34:29):
he has a pick. But Josh Allen four of eight
twenty yards, where's the MVP? Nowhere, nowhere to be seen
right now? So early on thirteen to nothing, Dolphins lead
the Bills. We're in the Fox Sports radio studios. I'm
sure as a Dolphin die hard Vijay, you're probably saying
yourself watching this game, like, where's this been? Where's this been?

(34:52):
I mean, come on, I mean, because at times this
team has looked awful, I mean awful, and.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
At times they've looked great.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
And so you know, with all the firing of the
general manager, the idea of keeping Mike McDaniel on as
head coach, but you feel like the locker room's getting
away from him to him making comments about the locker room.
And then all of a sudden, you show up at
home against a Bills team that obviously needs wins right now,
do you know? Playoff push second half of the season,

(35:21):
and early on Miami is dominated Buffalo in this game.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Well, let's go back a few weeks.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
It was after the comments, was the Atlanta game on
the road, and they go in and they hang thirty
one on Atlanta also too. I don't mind when players
get traded and they're happy to be where they are,
But what I saw heard out of Jalen Phillips was
lame and it was weak for a guy that the
Dolphins drafted after you quit football because of.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
An injury, came back, took a chance on you.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Somebody right now, tell me the Jalen Phillips affecting big
plays they remember when he was with the Dolphins exactly.
For him to go to the next team and talk
the way he talk, it tells me that might have
been one of the guys that just.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Need to get out of the locker room.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
I told you this, and I shared it with Carrie
Rose and Carrows, a former All Pro in this league,
one hundred percent agrees with me, and so did Eric Dickerson.
There's no such thing as lost the locker room. That's
that's a that's a myth. There's no such thing as
lost the locker room. You're grown ass man that still
has to show up and do what you're supposed to do.

(36:20):
If who coaches the team is gonna make you not
play hard, not show up, not be on time, bro,
that's a self thing. You're just passing on the bug.
You have no accountability, and anybody knows me. One of
the things that pushing me away from you fast in
life is people with zero or little accountability. McDaniel's gonna
be the coach here. He could coach. I just think

(36:40):
some piece, some things gotta change. Griz's gone. They need
to revamp this stuff. You see, they got three third rounds,
got a second, got a first. Here's a real quick
that I'll give you and we can go back to
the games. Honestly, his first two years there, you know
how many draft picks he had eight total?

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Eight total. They had the mcguirit this thing together quick.
You make the Jalen Ramsey trade. You bringing larrymy Tunsel,
You bringing Tyree? They where's their homegrown talent? They haven't
had picks to build. Well, they were bad.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
The mcguy rick together by making these trades man, to
make it happen fast because.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
The pressure's on in the NFL. Those are just the facts.
I'm just saying.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Bad ownership, true bad ownership. You get impatient, so you're
gonna gut your draft picks. And that's what he did
get in an immediate fix. And it didn't work.

Speaker 14 (37:22):
Well.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
It worked for a little bit. When they hung up
seventy everyone was talking out.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
But it's two years in a row. They had the
number one and number two rushing.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Receiving, right.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
Yeah, because you didn't have your young grown talent. When
guys got hurt, you had to put young guys in.
They weren't ready.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Shock. Shock, We're talking about the Saints quarterback. Shock. Who's
that four of seven one hundred and twenty eight yards
in a score of the Saints have taken a ten
to seven lead over the Panthers. How about that? Ain't
Carolina so shock?

Speaker 1 (37:57):
The division game? Man, right, division game?

Speaker 2 (38:00):
It was like the thirty five year old rookie quarterback shot.
I think guys play play like nine years of I
had college Collins football. You get these crazy guys at
transfer transfer, transfer, gain an extra year, COVID year, the
whole she bank.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
Boy. I'm watching Drake.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
May right now. He is literally throwing the ball to nobody. Yeah,
like he's throwing passes that are not five yards in
the vicinity of anybody offensively or defensively. He is completely
discombobulated right now. However, the Patriots are even with the
Bucks seven all in that game. All right, quick update

(38:39):
of the scoreboard. Bears and Giants seven. All these are
all mid second quarter scores. Dolphins over the Bills thirteen nothing,
Vikings lead the Ravens ten to three, Jets over the
Browns fourteen to seven, seven all Patriots, Buccaneers, Saints lead
the Packers ten to seven, and the Jaguars still leading
the Texan ten. Jacks. Can't get anything going offensively in

(39:03):
this game right now, so they are the Texans are
really really struggling. Yeah, they're really struggling. But once again,
they got a backup in man. I mean, it's it's tough.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
It's tough when you have to play your backup and
you're still missing other offensive weapons. And this Texas team,
what's going to be sad about this whole story is
their coach is gonna get fired.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
Oh they had a punt Jacksonville just ran it back
for a touchdown. And so now the Texans are really
digging themselves a whole sixteen nothing waiting on the extra point.
Davis Mills has thrown for just thirty five yards in
this first half and an interception Vegas seventeen nothing. You
know what's interesting. I was listening to guys this morning.

(39:45):
The line moved in this game from the Texans as
one point dogs to Texans one point favorite. So money
was rolling in on Houston in this game, and it
is all Jags right now. That's seventeen to nothing.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
I called it at a plus one and a half
of the Texas last night at about eleven thirty the
over unders what stood out to me on this on
thirty seven and a half, and that told me right there,
Vegas doesn't even think neither one of these teams can
whoever like first to twenty right, first to twenty, first
to twenty wins.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Is what it feels like in this game. But this,
this is gonna end.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
This is gonna end real ugly because their coach is
gonna get fired by next year. Because if you what
we're seeing in the NFL, if you don't win I immediately
or if you have that immediate success and then it
falls off fast, everybody's calling for your job.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
In front offices are reacting.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
We got seven games marching toward halftime right now, and
we are all over it for the scores, the stats,
the analysis, keep it right here. More coming up on
End Zone Radio run along here on this Week ten
of the National Football League and Zone Radio. We're in
the Fox Sports Radio studios right now. We got a

(40:56):
lot of exciting things going on. But my partner here,
Bja Husty's going absolutely nuts because the Dolphins are putting
a beatdown on the Bills, as we just had a
fumble recovered by Miami already leading this game thirteen to
nothing to a seven of eight eighty eight yards and
two scores. In this game, it has been all Dolphins.

(41:17):
The Bills look completely out of sorts. I mean, like, like,
what team just showed up? They just came off a
big win at home against the Chiefs. They probably again
if you don't have a right mindset, not according to you, Well,
well I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
I picked that game.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
But my point is you beat the Chiefs, right, there's
a lot of rivalry between them, and so you can't
mail it in. You brought up the great point. These
are professional football players, right, and so even if you're
two and seven like the Dolphins are, even if it's
been a disastrous season to date, you're still going to
show up. Yeah, and the emotional level of the Dolphins,

(41:58):
you know, you get something going early in the game.
You get yourself in the game, feeling good about yourself,
got up to that early seven to nothing lead, and
you can just see the emotion is just drained out
of the Bills right now, and it's all on the
Dolphins side. So Dolphins with the ball, uh, leading the
Bills by a score of thirteen to nothing.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
You know, it's the worst thing that's got to be
in the NFL. In Week ten, trying to tackle Derrick Henry.
You look at this run right now. Just watch how
many honestly just want to tow me Viking player.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Look you get away, you get away, and look look
look at this last guy you get away.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
I just love it.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
If there's another grown that's another grown man, that's six three,
two thirty five, watch what he does to him with
one arm. That by week ten, man, this is this
is another reason just to flip to the Rayns world.
This is another reason why people kind of still believe
in him. They're back to back fumbles by Derrick Henry
earlier in the year from starting three and oh right
that the Buffalo game was the was the main one.

(42:55):
Then he fumbled again the following week. Then he has
the breakdown on the sideline.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
It's such long year. It took a few weeks.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Remember what one week they had eight carries, the next
week eleven carries.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
They weren't even giving them the ball.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
And I think it was John Harball's way to say, hey, buddy,
we need you so we can give you a little
break right now. Lamar's out anyway, but listen, we need
you back. You're not with us, right We can see it.
Everybody can see it. VJ on Fox Sports Radio can
see it. We need you back, though. Okay, at some
point we got to get you back, and you could
kind of see it kind of growing back again. Feed them,
feed them, feed him at another Hunt of yard game,

(43:28):
last game. So it's interesting though that this this Ravens
team in his game right now, ten to three in
the second quarter.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
You know, with the Vikings.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
We followed Derrick Henry's Hall of Fame career, Heisman Trophy
winner at Alabama, but all of that pals to his
high school days. His high school senior year, he rushed
for four and sixty one yards three hundred and twenty
seven yards per game.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
Ahead get this.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Fifty five rushing touchdowns that year. In his career in
high school, over twelve thousand yards. He averaged two hundred
and fifty two yards a game eight point seven yards
per carry. For his entire high school career. He had
a game where he had four hundred and sixty two
yards rushing in high school. So I mean you the

(44:14):
fact that he is still able to run when you
think of this guy was four years of high school
carrying a lot obviously, you know he had he finished
his Heisman year with ninety carries in his last two
regular season games within the Heceman and then all the
carries that he's had at the NFL level. I mean,
this guy's just a physical freak.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Have you seen his workout videos?

Speaker 2 (44:35):
Crazy? He works out with not chains around your neck
that you would lock your bicycle up with, guys, Yeah,
I'll talk about change you would use to like pull
a car kind of change that you can't even lift, right, Yeah,
the ones that you have to order from NASA, Right,
they're not at home depot, They're not at the local
hardware store. And he has those things around his neck
that has dumbbells or or weight plates hanging from them,

(44:58):
and he's doing burpies.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
A burpie is a push up to a jump up
to stand and then you leap up in the air.
If you don't know what a burpie is, google it it.
Go on YouTube and just google burpie and watch the video.
He's doing that with big chains and weights around him
like this guy. And when I had a chance, they
covered him last year when they came into La. Yeah,
I went to the Ravens locker. I went to the
pres cofference. I want to talk to latm more. I said,
I just gotta go into the locker room because I
gotta see this guy up close. I gotta see this

(45:22):
guy closer. And he's sitting down, all the reporters around him.
When he stood up, Why did everybody back up?

Speaker 1 (45:28):
All the reporters.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
It's like twenty a round and everybody has the cause
he's so big you have to move for him just
to stand up out of his chair.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
And I said, okay, that's why people don't want to tappen.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Oh goodness, rac he is a special lab did they
make him in all right? But despite that, the Ravens
are still trailing the Vikings ten to three. We have
hit the two minute warning there. However, the Ravens do
have a third and two at the Minnesota ten yard line.
Updated stats in that game. JJ McCarthy decent stats eight

(45:59):
of two, one hundred and twenty five yards. However, did
throw a pick in that game? Lamar Jackson not much
eight of thirteen just fifty two yards only twelve yards rushing.
All right, guys, we have a huge game coming up
later on today. Can Sean McVay figure out how to
actually beat Kyle shanahan in a regular season game? The

(46:20):
forty nine ers have owned him in the regular season
and joining us right now he is the voice not
of this game of Fox Sports. Kevin Burkhardt is joining
us right now. By the way, Kevin, great work as
always with you guys on that World Series cover. Have
you recovered Kevin from that World Series? Analyzing what many

(46:41):
argue is one of the greatest World Series of all time?

Speaker 14 (46:45):
That was one of the best I've seen and best
I've been a parto. I mean, that Game seven was
as good as a guess. It's just really good baseball,
and I'm glad that somebody won it. You know, we
were just saying watching I hope it didn't end on
like a mistake. It was just sensational, so cool to
be a part of it, and now I'm excited for
today a little NFC West action for us.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Kevin, all Right, So why is it the cole Shanahan
has had Sean mcvay's number in these regular season games.
I mean, on paper, you would think the Rams right now,
with all the injuries the forty nine ers have, are
the better team. But it just seems like Shanahan knows
how to coach against the Sean McVay coach team.

Speaker 14 (47:24):
Yeah, I mean, McVeigh got him the big one when
it mattered in the title game in twenty one, and
but I get it. I mean Shanahan's eleven and six
against McVeigh. And you know, I think a lot of
it really has had to do their play style and
their physicality. And I think the Rams, you know, you
always think of them, and you know they've they're this
high flying act, right what. I think they're a lot
more physical now than maybe they've ever been. And obviously

(47:46):
this team want you know, they won a Super Bowl
under Sean McVay. But I think this team currently has
constructed has one of the most physical defensive fronts in
the league. I think their offensive line is playing as
good as any McVeigh offensive line has played, and so
I think that makes a difference. In the last time
they played in Week five, the forty nine ers got
out to such a quick start, you know, the Rams
kind of woke up in the second half and they

(48:07):
obviously still had chances to win, but turned her over.
So be curious to see how this first quarter goes today,
keV VJ.

Speaker 3 (48:14):
Brn Husky here echo my partner sentiment. Man, a great
job on the world sairers. I was wondering, what's time
you were getting out of there during the post game,
saying that there were Poppy and all those guys. I said,
I know he's got an NFL game to call in
the morning. I wonder where they said to him. He's
got to get out of there. So let's slip over
to the Niners. I'm still trying to figure out who
this team is. They don't have brock Perdy. Matt Jones
steps right in and it's doing the work that you

(48:34):
want him to do. They trade de Bow Kittles missed
some time, but they're right there, keV. They're right there
to stay acclaim it. There's not just the division in
the NFC. How high do you have them right now?
Could they compete with like the Eagles? Are they kind
of in the middle of the pack right now?

Speaker 1 (48:50):
To you?

Speaker 14 (48:51):
Well, I think it's pretty awesome that they're a six
win team. And by the way, if they win today,
they're going to be four and zero in the NFC West,
which is a pretty amazing start you consider they lost
All Pro Nick Bosa, All Pro Fred Warner, who controls
everything on that defense. Rock Purty hasn't played the whole year,
George Kittle missed five games, they haven't played with the
starting wide receivers really all. It's amazing what they're doing

(49:13):
really when it comes down to it. The good news
for them as a Christian McCaffrey is an absolute animal
and he leaves the league in scrimmage yards and mac
Jones has come in and dine a really nice job.
I think the trick for them, And you know, they're
trying to find a little pass rush because I can't
remember a time when the Niners, you know, in the
last decade haven't had maybe two decades, haven't had a
good pass rush, and with the injuries, they just don't

(49:34):
have it right now. So how are they going to
manufacture that you know, not only today but going forward.
So yeah, listen, I think they're a good team. Excuse me.
I think they're a good team. And we'll see how
they do today. Starting with the Rams.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
A couple of years ago, some people thought Matthew Stafford
might actually retire before is childhood buddy Clayton Kershaw. I
had a lot of injuries, and now he has never
been better. Kevin, where's the MVP talk for Matthew's Stafford?
Twenty one touchdowns, only two picks, completing sixty seven percent
of his passes. He's never looked better.

Speaker 14 (50:08):
Well, a lot of guys are having good years at
the quarterback position. I think right now he's playing the
best in the league. I mean, twenty one touchdowns and
two interceptions, and just in total control. He controls everything,
the no look passes, and you know, I think you
can make a case of the Rams of the best
one two receiver group in the league. So he is
playing at an unreal level and he's never quite ever

(50:29):
gotten the recognition that he really deserved. I agree, when
it's all said and done, Matthew Stafford is going to
go down as an all time great. That's just the
bottom line, and I think it's cool that people are
starting to look around even after the Super Bowl win
and like, wow, Matthew Stafford is getting it done at
thirty seven years old. So the way he is playing,
the way they're blocking for him, and the weapons that
he has, I think the Rams are ultra ultra dangerous.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
I said before the season. With a healthy Matthew Stafford,
they're the biggest threat the Eagles have and that has
proven out so far. Kevin, I really appreciate the time
on your busy schedule. Always great to catch up with you.
Enjoy the game.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Today you two guys.

Speaker 14 (51:05):
Thanks, well, see you soon.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
All right.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Kevin Burkhart joining us right there. This guy has a
crazy schedule, crazy schedule, you know when you're in that position,
but does a great job. He knows how to bring
everybody together, right, he really does.

Speaker 9 (51:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
He's got a rod, he's got big Poppy, he's got Jeter.
There was through this series and they did great analysis,
have great fun out there. Yeah, and he and Tom
Brady have been working out well as a partner. So
that is that is the game We're going to get
into a little bit later on. Is this match of
Rams and forty nine ers. All right, we continue on.
We got seven games going on right now, approaching halftimes

(51:40):
around the NFL.

Speaker 1 (51:41):
This is end Zone Radio.

Speaker 8 (51:43):
Now Towns has got the punter away from the back
of his end zone. He gets it away. That's a bomb. Well,
that is a bomb of a punt. Washington field it
at the twenty nine yard line, gets up the field
thirty five forty yard line punning ruver Parker Washington forty
five forty thirty old on the right sideline, Parker Washington,
He's gonna bring it back. Parker Washington, touchdown, Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
They're all no flags. The jackson extended the lead.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
That's ten ten XL ninety two point five FM Jaguars
Radio Network. Jags leading the Texans seventeen to three. We
got inside six minutes to go the first half in
that game, big divisional game for both those teams. Texans
need to win at home. But right now the Jags
have the lead seventeen to three. Once again, this is

(52:31):
end Zone Radio. Coming up here. In about four to
twenty five minutes or twenty minutes, we're gonna debut our
new Power five and boy, I am telling you. It
is tough, really take a moment right now and in
your head, because you might be driving around or whatever
you're doing right now, try to separate five teams from

(52:52):
the pack. It is tough. Like you could say, I
have like a six way tie for fifth. I could
do that right now, right but you can't do that.
You've got to actually separate him. It is brutal, like
who's real, who's not? Like the Buffalo Bills, they're losing
this game to the Dolphins sixteen to nothing, and it

(53:13):
is not a fluke. Offensively, this is the best the
Dolphins have looked all season long. They're doing it on
the ground, they're doing it in the air. They have
a total of two hundred and eighteen yards in this
game and the Bills have eighty three. So it is
it is one of those days where everything is coming

(53:34):
together for your Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:36):
Also with this power five, just so you all knowing
radio guys, we're not cheating.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
Steve Can. I'm holding up. He can see. We have
all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
Written out already, so we're not going off of I'm
gonna be honest what we've seen today. I have my
top three, my four, and five. I'm still I'm still,
I'm still wavering right now.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
No, I want to I win, I finish my list.
I got all the everything attests to each team. I'm
sticking with this. Some of us made me look good
so far. What's going on today? But Steve and I,
we're really coming with y'all with the real man.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
It's not it is.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
Oh, let's GoF of what we're seeing today. No, this
stuff's already marked out.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
We're ready to roll, all right, So that's coming up
here shortly.

Speaker 1 (54:11):
All right.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
As far as the games are concerned, right now, the
Vikings and the Ravens of one of the marquee games
going into the day because both teams have their quarterback back.
I mean, last week was the return for Lamar Jackson
and for JJ McCarthy. By the way, Lamar Jackson has
taken at least that's the third time I've looked up

(54:33):
and he has gotten absolutely driven into the ground.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Now, they don't hit high, I mean these I like.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
The fact that officials let them do that.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
You can do that.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
You don't go to the helmet, but you can drive
a quarterback and hit him hard. And Lamar Jackson has
been was hard in this game by this Vikings defense,
as they.

Speaker 3 (54:56):
Just add a field goal too going into the half.
So ten to nine in this game, two seconds left
in the second quarter, right before that happen between the
Vikings and the Ravens. I told you this is a
game I got my eye on today because this this
is a big game, guys. And forget the records.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
That's why I don't want to go to the records
too much, because there's.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Still so much open. We don't know. There's no favorite.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
I think there's one team that kind of stands clear
and above of everybody, and that's only because of what
they've accomplished over the last few years.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
And we'll get into that part in the game.

Speaker 5 (55:23):
Away.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
No one team whatever. But when you think about a
team like the Patriots, this is huge for.

Speaker 1 (55:26):
Them on a row. But they're up fourteen ten going
into the half.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Not only up fourteen to ten. By the way, Mike
Vrabel to me, runaway coach of the era, Yeah, he
is just absolutely flip this organization round. Yeah, but totally
yards in this game twoh two point eighty nine in favor.

Speaker 1 (55:41):
Of New England. They're moving.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
They're four and oh on the road trying to make
it five and oher going against a Buccaneers team that
figures at home, which should take care of business. But
Drake May eleven and nineteen, one hundred and eighty yards,
two touchdowns getting it done again against.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
A top flight defense. This is a top five defense
that he's going against today. And this was gonna be
one of my question marks.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
What would I think about the Patriots after they actually
have to go on the road, play a tough team,
play a plus five hundred team. This team went and
hung thirty eight up in Seattle, and we kind of
like Seattle, right we're trying.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
To figure out where Seattle fits in top five or there?
Six seven? Are they just outside?

Speaker 2 (56:19):
This Buccaneers team went up there and hung thirty eight
on them up in that building.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
Nobody does that.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
So so many different variables with some of these games,
all going to the half today, but just super interesting.

Speaker 3 (56:29):
And again I ain't talk much about it, but I
will right now. Forty three seconds left in the first half.
Right now, the Dolphins are clearly out playing the Buffalo Bills,
and they Buffalo got drunk off that win. And I
told I told Steve they'd win the game too. But Buffalo,
that's what they do. They beat the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
It was he like four to one or five and
one against Pat Mahomes in the regular He could beat
them in September, October, November, December, but that don't matter.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Can you beat him in January? And the answer has
been no.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Two a minute warning. Jet still leading the Browns seventeen
to fourteen. You talk about it deceiving score. The Jets
two touchdowns were on a kickoff return and a punt return.
Justin Field's in this game. Rat it three of five
passing for five yards, yes, no touchdowns and a pick.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
That's efficient though, five three of five.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
So the three passes for for zero yards, one yard
and four yards those are the three he completed in
the game, and yet they're winning.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
The running game's been half decent.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
He has twenty five yards himself on the Grand Breese
Hall is twenty nine. But the way Justin Fields is playing,
he is making Dylan Gabriel look like a juggernaut. He's
not eight of seventeen, not good, ninety three yards not great,
but two touchdowns and most importantly for Cleveland, zero interception,
so at least he's not turning the ball over. But

(57:46):
this is justin field situation. I mean, we always go
back and and by the way, DJ was the one
that sounded of the warning call that opening game Jets Steelers,
and we saw this big shootout game between Aaron Rodgers
and Justin Fields, and wow, look at Justin Fields. Man,
he's got promise. Talk about regressing. I mean, we're we're

(58:08):
talking about a quarterback that, based on his first half
here today against the Browns, has almost officially completely disappeared.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
Yeah, like you like, he's.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Barely visible in real five five yards. It might just
be time to just let go of anything you might
have felt about Justin Fields.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
Some guys just can't recover. And who knows, it's not all.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
We're seeing it with Baker, We're seeing it with Darnold,
We're seeing it with Mac Jones.

Speaker 3 (58:34):
Sometimes you just need a chance. We saw with Gino
in Seattle. Sometimes you just need to change of scenery.
But it's gotta be real, it's got to be legit.
And it just doesn't feel like that that that it
is with with with Justin Filds. But but the Jets,
they're doing all the right things. I was just talking
to Bowl in the Hallway doing a commercial break. Sell

(58:55):
the farm right now? Man, I think you keep result.
I think that was smart. You keep, you keep the
guys that you know, letting saut let's go. I thought
that was great. To get some draft picks. You gotta
rebuild when you have a new coach. Are you guys,
are you trying to redo some stuff and make things up?
You gotta get draft picks. This is in the NBA,
in the NFL, you gotta get draft picks because you
gotta get a lot of players in. Everybody's not gonna
work out, so I and They're gonna be in the market.

(59:17):
Four quarterback and a kid like Mendoza, who we talked
about the way he looked yesterday, he could be He
could fall right in their last six five, two thirty
five to forty.

Speaker 1 (59:26):
Big kid would work.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Well in New York, you know they But they're gonna
move on from Justin Phillis. Go back in time. Jackson
Dart left USC to go to Ole, Miss to basically
make room for Caleb Williams. Right, so first half is
in Giants lead at Chicago ten to seven, Jackson Dart
fourteen to twenty one, one hundred and ninety nine yards.

(59:47):
Scataboo's out, so Devin Singletary is their running back. He
has three carries for two yards. Tyrone Tracey has five
carries for zero yards. But Jackson Dart has two carries
for twenty one yards in a score. He has outplayed
Caleb Williams. And it's not close. No, And so the
guy that basically vacated USC to make room for Caleb

(01:00:11):
Williams is showing at least on the field in the
first half of this game.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
He's better. I need him to come in and pull
this game out. There they're up, and they're up ten seven,
ten to seven.

Speaker 9 (01:00:21):
How much how much time have you spent watching the
game on the TV and the room in there?

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
I watched it.

Speaker 9 (01:00:27):
Yeah, Why Caleb Williams is making great throws. It's just
there's another part of the equation there.

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
Oh you're talking about drops.

Speaker 9 (01:00:32):
Yeah, the receiver's got to catch the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Well, you got in doonsay, who's an elite received, Yeah,
he's got idy elite.

Speaker 9 (01:00:39):
He's he's getting there.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
I always, even coming out of Washington, I thought the
Michigan and it is not a Michigan homer. They he
went up and gets a team Honestly, that put NFL
DBS Sanders still will Johnson they shut him down?

Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
Are you saying Pannicks made on doos ay? Is that
what you're saying there?

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Absolutely right?

Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Absolutely no, absolutely, look at I'm not wavering on Jackson
Dart at all. I mean I just pointed out that
their running backs have eight carries for two yards, so
they have zero running game. H no, zero, I mean
DeAndre Swift has eight carries for sixty.

Speaker 9 (01:01:14):
Yards for the Bears watching this game, it's an all
time bad catch the ball game.

Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
But are you bitter than Jackson Dart if he had
stayed at USC?

Speaker 9 (01:01:21):
No, Jackson Dart. The way Jackson Dart plays, he's gonna
be sitting right next to scaaboy pretty soon.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
Wow wow, I know, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
Or later he's gonna need to get smarter. But right
now though, and honestly, you see this with a lot
of rookie quarterbacks that I watched JJ, you know, tucking
and go. They feel like they gotta kind of prove
their toughness and kind of because it's a real thing.
Trust me, your team, all fifty two other guys aren't
sold in on you bo. And sometimes there's a veteran
that needs to see you lower your shoulder for once.

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
QB.

Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
We know quarterbacks is the pretty boy, but in that
locker room, you better be seeing a little bit tough.
That's the problem with two of Miami, honestly, right, he's
seen tough, but his concussions not that he's not tough.
The guy just can't take any head hits. But I
think Jackson Dart will swarten up. But right now they
kind of need him to run around and lower his
shoulder a little.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
We're seeing it with bow knicks.

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
He is taking over too. He is taken over as
the leader of this team. Of course, I don't know
how that's gonna sit with his Zoo coach because bid
Davil will be gone after the seat. All right, let's
find out what is trending right now our power fives,
by the way, coming up here shortly. Mantie, how you
feeling about your charters tonight? Hosting the Steelers with both

(01:02:32):
of your offensive tackles out for the year.

Speaker 10 (01:02:35):
Not great? Not great?

Speaker 11 (01:02:36):
Yeah, because the minute Joel went out last week.

Speaker 10 (01:02:40):
He got sacked. Justiner the mint, the very.

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Next, the very next, plug, very next, plus.

Speaker 11 (01:02:44):
Like he is a big difference maker for us, and
the Steelers are obviously like feeling pretty good about themselves.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
I'm sure they're watching right now, they're thinking, Okay, we're
not the Titans, right Uh, Chargers barely survived that last week.
It's gonna be interesting. I mean, you talk about getting
rid of the ball. And here's another problem for Herbert.
Herbert right now, because of the injuries to Lamar Jackson
leads NFL running backs and rushing.

Speaker 10 (01:03:08):
Yardes he does.

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
That is not a stat you want to see because
when you do that stat, you are opened up to injury.

Speaker 11 (01:03:15):
Yeah no, no, no, I think he leads in sacks
to So yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:03:20):
He's doing it. He's trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
Do trying to do it all. But you run and
run and run, you're gonna.

Speaker 11 (01:03:26):
Go down, absolutely absolutely, So I don't I don't like it.
But I also I think the Steelers, you know, the
Chargers can win this one.

Speaker 10 (01:03:33):
I just think it's gonna it's gonna require a lot,
it's gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Require defense, will show up at homes, and I just
don't think that. I don't think the Steelers have enough.

Speaker 10 (01:03:40):
I'm surprised the Chargers. Sorry didn't met you. I'm surprised
that the Chargers are even favored me.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
It's at home, they're undefeated at night.

Speaker 10 (01:03:48):
But they're so right, like you know what I mean.
They're not great, they're not they're not.

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
But Derwin James is playing out of his mind.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Yea for the Chargers.

Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
Last night on my TV, I picked the Steelers to
win the game. Good, all right? I always said that.
Now last night on TV.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
I picked both the Rams and Chargers to lose. I said,
I'm doing you a favor. Okay, there you go, all right.

Speaker 11 (01:04:12):
Yeah, most of these games, guys are at halftime except
for two. Woody Marks did get in the end zone
for the Texans with the rushing touchdown, but the Jaguars
are still up twenty to ten. There's about a minute
to go in that one, about a minute between the
Browns and the Jets, where the Jets are up seventeen
to fourteen. The rest of the games are at the half.
Saints are on top of the Panthers ten seven. Tyler

(01:04:34):
shook eleven of eighteen one hundred and ninety four yards
and a touchdown pass that went to Chris Alave. The
Patriots added another touch another touchdown Drake May with the
second touchdown pass of the day. They're up on the
Buccaneers in Tampa, fourteen to ten. The Ravens added another
field goal, but the Vikings are still up ten nine.

Speaker 10 (01:04:53):
This is at the half.

Speaker 11 (01:04:54):
JJ McCarthy nine to fifteen hundred and three yards and
an interception. And then we've got the Dolphins that are
just crushing the Bills.

Speaker 10 (01:05:01):
Sixteen zero is the score there. I hate it. I'm
playing Josh Allen. I don't like it.

Speaker 11 (01:05:06):
The Bears are losing at home to the Giants ten
to seven. Jackson dart is fourteen of twenty one, one hundred
and ninety nine yards.

Speaker 10 (01:05:12):
He also has a rushing touchdown for New York.

Speaker 11 (01:05:15):
But you know NFL started in Berlin today, guys, and
the Colts came back to defeat the Falcons thirty one
to twenty five in overtime. Jonathan Taylor thirty two carries
two hundred and forty four yards and three touchdowns. He
now has sixty six rushing touchdowns, which is the most enfranchised.

Speaker 10 (01:05:31):
History for the Colts.

Speaker 11 (01:05:33):
And when it comes to that baseball story I told
you a little bit ago, there's more details, guys. So
Guardian's pitchers Emmanuel claus A, Luis or theseas been indicted
by prosecutors in Brooklyn on a host of charges related
to a scheme of rigging bets on pitchers thrown in
MLB games.

Speaker 10 (01:05:47):
What are some of the things They're being charged with?

Speaker 11 (01:05:50):
Wire fraud, conspiracy, honest services, wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to
influence sporting contests by bribery, money laundering, conspiracy.

Speaker 10 (01:05:59):
They face up to sixty.

Speaker 11 (01:06:01):
Five years in prison if convicted on all the charges.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
All presented by fan Duel, all presented by fan Duel.

Speaker 10 (01:06:09):
Yeah, and like if I even told so.

Speaker 11 (01:06:13):
Prosecutors alleged that Luis Orthis was paid five thousand dollars
for throwing an intentional ball on June fifteenth, Emanuel Classe
was giving five thousand dollars for facilitating it. They did
it again, according to an indictment, on June twenty seventh,
and the payment for each on that was seven thousand apiece.
So you're making twelve thousand dollars when you could be

(01:06:34):
making millions.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Well, they are making millions, they are.

Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
I don't know that.

Speaker 11 (01:06:37):
But Emmanuel Classe was on the verge of probably getting
a big contract.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Well, he had three consecutives such over the top Dominan.
I mean a zero sixty one era dude.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
I mean, come on, guys, it's call addiction. It does
not and I'm not trying to knocket rush.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Hear people say this is like when the whole NBA
thing happened, and then you get people like Barkley or
people that come on with even go guys, it's not
about the money to them, No, it's an addiction.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
It's and I see, I.

Speaker 11 (01:07:07):
Don't have to go buy a scratch scratch card whatever
one of those starts.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
It's not enough, and then the slot machine is not enough.

Speaker 10 (01:07:14):
But when it has to do with your livelihood going
beat goin's good.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Yeah, but here's the back.

Speaker 15 (01:07:21):
There's also the assumption that like to like that you
can plan this out, and that they probably were playing
up some just normal gambling, and then they would make
the losses and then fall in with guys who are like, hey,
we can help you make it back.

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
You just have to, you know, do this for us.

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
When we talk about gambling on sports that you control,
if you are a gambler and you have a situation
where you control the outcome to fix yourself, that is
a temptation that it's many cannot walk away from you.

Speaker 9 (01:07:54):
Guys. Know what the best part about this story so
far is, I'm I'm reading the indictment, pablatory post some
of it. There's a there's a game, a game in specific,
a specific game May sixth or twenty eighth, twenty twenty five,
the Guardians were facing the Dodgers, and uh, their scheme

(01:08:15):
was all planned out, and then you know, Classe's whole
thing was throwing a ball in the first pitch. Uh,
he threw a ball, except the batter swung at it wildly,
and so the bet lost and the better Wow, I
went back and looked it was Andy pa Has swinging
a ball in there.

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
You should not have placed that bet with pa Has. Absolutely,
it's so good, no plate discipline. I love the fact
that Andy Pa has had zero walks in the series,
zero one.

Speaker 9 (01:08:39):
He's a world series under an integrity here when.

Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
You're hitting under one hundred and you don't even walk once.

Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
All right, hey, for the first time it is that time,
Oh spoke no power five. Okay, So, uh, we're gonna
do this each week now that we're heading down the
stretch run in the NFL, back and forth. Our top
five teams currently in the NFL. I'm gonna get started
here bj getting started with my current number five, and

(01:09:06):
this one is up to the moment. I have now
placed the New England Patriots at number five. Six straight wins,
including a road win against Buffalo. This is a team
that opened the year with a home loss against the Raiders.
But I am in on this New England team right now.
They are seven and two on a six game winning streak.

(01:09:27):
Gleadia halftime right now. I got the Patriots at number five.

Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
I'll agree with you if they pull off this win today.
At number five for me, I went with the Green
Bay Packers have the.

Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Number five defense, the number five against the run, and
the number nine against the pass.

Speaker 3 (01:09:41):
My questions are the wide receiver possession position. No, I'm
still questioning who's their number one guy, Who's the guy
who's gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Win big games for them? But they do have the
eighth ranked offense.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
I have question marks with the Dallas game and the
lost to Cleveland, but they stumped Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh go
on national television, and that's what puts me Love to
coach Love the quarterback to Green Bay Packers at number
five what's your number four? My number four team right here,
Man was a little bit of a head scratch.

Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
You talk about some tough stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
Man, But I went with Manzi's Chargers at number four,
and that's because they're three and zeroing that division. They
have wins over Kansas City. In Denver, they put up
thirty seven on a Flores defense that Lamar Jackson has
nine points against in the first half right now, fifth
ran offense, tenth in the rush, and I'm gonna tell
you something. They average more points than Denver and San

(01:10:29):
Francisco right now, third passing defense, number six overall defense
in the NFL. I'm going by the tate, not just
their record. Give me the Chargers at number four. Big
game to night against Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
All right, my number four, and again they showed something
today and that's the Indianapolis Colts coming back to win
a game where they did not play well. And they
have my pick right now for league's MVP and Jonathan
Taylor to two hundred forty four yards rushing today. But
I'm not gonna ignore an eight and two record. I'm
not gonna ignore the fact that offensively, this is one

(01:11:00):
of these strongest teams in the league. Are they deficient?
Every single team in this league it's got problems, but
the Colts have fewer problems than I thought. So right
now I got the Colts at eight and two. Is
my current number four team? All right, I'm gonna give
you number three. Go ahead, number three right now? The
Los Angeles Rams. Yes, the Rams have a quarterback. And

(01:11:22):
this is one of those guys that I can honestly
say I have changed my mind. I was never a
huge Stafford guy. He came to LA and each year
I grow a Stafford fan, and he has had an
MVP season this year. Plus they can get to the quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
That is such.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
A fort an ingredient for the Rams right now. So
the Rams, who were my preseason number two pick in
the NFC, are currently my number three overall team. Who's
your number three? My number one three team is down
to your number five team that you threw up.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
In at the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers I have right now that wins
over San Francisco and Saddle Okay, and they beat the
breaks off Seattle, putting thirty eight on them up at
Seattle sixteenth rank defense.

Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
They're eighth against the run.

Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
I would like the offense to be a little better,
but they haven't had Mike Evans the whole year, and
abuk will also missed the game also to seventeenth ranked offense.
And I think Baker should be in the MVP conversation too.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
We'll see how the.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
Rest of today goes, but that division is also winnable
for them to They're probably gonna win that division to
get a home playoff game.

Speaker 1 (01:12:23):
Give me the Buccaneers at number three. Who's your number two?

Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
My number two team is the Indianapolis Coach the end
of the folds, Coats have a plus one oh nine.
Actually you add the points they won by today, so
a plus one point fifteen. As far as their win differential,
they're six to one versus the AFC, which is going
to work out in their favor when it gets to
the end of the season. Two number two offense, number
eight against the rush number one in points.

Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
They're losses door against the Rams, who.

Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
You love in Pittsburgh, who can make a big message
in statement tonight and so far stay in against the Chargers.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Give me the Coats and in my.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Opinion, still should be MVP conversation and Daniel Diames Jones
at the quarterback position.

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Take the Colts number two.

Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
My number two, and it's not all based on obviously
what we see today.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
I'm going to ignore their first half.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
The Buffalo Bills are still my number two. What a
team that I have picked to win the Super Bowl
before the season began, And yes they have them been
as great as I had hoped they would see to
be at this point of the season. But I still
believe with their experience with their quarterback, they have the
second best team currently going.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Right now in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
So the Bills are my number two, which brings me
to my number one. The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles
are the best team currently in the National Football League.
They've got the quarterback, they get running back is back
on track. They are the team to beat. They have
been the team to beat the running away from the

(01:13:48):
NFC East. They'll win that division for the second secut
the year or something that's not happened in that division
since two thousand and four. The Eagles are still, in
my opinion, the number one team in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
Great minds they can like it. Told you guys, I'm
on the bandwagon. I'm going to stay on until they
proved me wrong. My number one team also was the
Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
Jalen Hurts is completing seventy percent of his passes for
a guy that I've heard people say is not a
good quarterbacker, can't beat you with his arm five and
one versus the NFC, which is going to work out
for them when you start to try to line these
teams up for whole field advantage. That wins over Dallas KC.
They beat Tampa, they beat Minnesota. Now I would like
the numbers as far as their team rates to be better.
They have the twenty fourth ring offense to twenty second
ring defense, but their tenth in scoring and the name

(01:14:26):
of the game is two score points.

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
So even though they may not have the yards, we
know SA Kwan's got off to a slow start if
had some things with aj Brown going on there, but
that still just think when you put Hurts on the
field as your leader, the guy's one of the most
underrated leading quarterbacks in my opinion, in the last twenty
five years in the NFL, Guy's been to two Super
Bowls and one one out playing the guy that people
wanted to call to go over Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Just twenty four months ago.

Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
Beat that guy had to head and out played him twice,
and all of a sudden he still has to prove more.

Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Not to me. Give me the Eagles at number one.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
All right, by the way, at Trevion Henderson just ran
fre five yards are a touchdown for the Patriots, all right,
twenty one ten Now on the road against the Bucks again,
my top five Eagles, Bills, Rams, Colts, and Patriots.

Speaker 3 (01:15:09):
Your top five Green Bay Chargers, Tampa Colts in the eat.

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
That's his inverse order. That's five to one, all right,
coming up on the other side. Will continue to update
you as we got second half's underway. Seven games around
the NFL. This is en zone radio handoff with a
run up.

Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
It breaks it to the.

Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
To the twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:15:30):
He's gaining five of the ten time die to the
end zone.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
Look how friends, wind break touchdown? Patriots hold it. I'm
gonna shut.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
Out of the ten ninety eighty five, the sports hob
of the Patriots radio network. So after the Bucks score
down their opening drive, it has been all New England
since trying to improve to five and a on the
road this year. Patriots lead the Buccaneers twenty one to
ten and They are looking real good right now. Ten

(01:16:00):
and a half minutes to go in the third quarter,
so we got second halves underway. Let me give you
a little update of the scoreboard around the National Football League.

Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Once again, we're in the Fox Sports Radio studios.

Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Giants lead the Bears seventeen to seven. Jacksonville Dart two
rushing touchdowns in this game. The Bills have nothing going
against the Dolphins sixteen nothing Dolphins third quarter. Ravens finally
take the lead against the Vikings on another field goal,
twelve to ten. Ravens lead that one. Browns the Jets
tied at seventeen at the half, a game I predicted

(01:16:32):
could in in a scoreless tie. Patriot says. We mentioned
up twenty one to ten on the road against Tampa.
Saints still lead the Panthers ten to seven, nine and
a half minutes to go in the third quarter. At
the half, Jaguars leading the Texans by a score of
twenty to ten. The good news are the Texans, after
a very slow start, Davis Mills beginning heat up. In fact,

(01:16:53):
he actually ended the half of one hundred and sixty
seven yards passing. But the Texans definitely need to win
Panthers right now are really struggling today. You know, we
got Tyler Shuck at quarterback for New Orleans and on
the road, he's twelve of twenty for two hundred and
nine yards, a touchdown, no picks. That is a passer

(01:17:16):
rating of one twelve. He is out playing Bryce Young
today and that's why New England or New Orleans is
leading this game. So, I mean we sort of joked
about Shuck, right, I mean, this guy who was in
his mid twenties. You know, whoever heard of this guy? Really?
And the you know, premium pick for the Saints. But
today's so far looking good.

Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
Passer rating is one of the worst overrated stats in
all of sports. It's almost like time of possession to me,
because you can say all that and you still have
just ten points on the board of Bryce Young eleven
to sixteen, no turnover, seventy seven yards. It's a division game,
that's not honestly, That's how I look at games like that.
It's a division game. And when you have these mid
season division games, look at Buffalo in Miami right now,

(01:17:59):
you get the week ten.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Week eleven, week twelve division games or a coin flip.

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
You watch how that Rams Niners game works out tonight
man as division game these divisions Seattle and the Cardinals
later on today the Vision game now Seattle's heavily favorite.
But that don't mean that the Cardinals are just gonna
show up and roll over, just like you're not gonna
see these team show up the same time, gonna show.

Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
Up and roll over. Yeah, at one in eight, the
other year could be done.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
It probably is, But as I mentioned at the top
of the show, these are you're a grown ass man.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Show up and do your damn job. Do what you
get paid to do.

Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Keep playing because the one thing that you know, coach
is gonna pull out the next coach and the next
the tape when the team was one in eight, How
did you play?

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
You don't think? You gotta know think scouts and coaches
pull this stuff up. They do. They look at what
you were doing when you knew the year was over.

Speaker 3 (01:18:42):
Every talk radio show and every talk TV show knew
the year was over.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
What were you doing? Though?

Speaker 3 (01:18:47):
That's what I love about a game like today. I
still hope the Panthers pull this out. We both date
their a playoff team this year, but this would be huge.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
The Falcons already lost today, So the Panthers gotta get
this one, all right. You mentioned the Seahawks and the Cardinals.
Interesting things happening in Arizona again, and the coach there
won't say it, but it's pretty clear that Kyler Murray
is out. Jacoby Brissett has played well. The injury situation
with Murray is not one hundred percent clear. And then

(01:19:18):
apparently he went on local TV and sort of hammed
in Hawd when he talked about, well, if Murray is healthy,
is Brissett's still your guy?

Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
And he wouldn't say, Adam Lee.

Speaker 2 (01:19:28):
No, Brissett has played well, although he's got a challenge
today because the Seahawks and defense has been really good
this year and.

Speaker 3 (01:19:35):
They're gonna get out a chance to win. Let's let's
just go there because we can do all this filling stuff.
We see this with backup quarterbacks. You know how I
feel about that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
Who gives you a better chance to win if they're
both healthy, Kyler Murray or Jacoby Well, put it this way,
the last time these two teams met division games, Murray
was sacked six times in that game, and so that's.

Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Look, I've I've been a Kyler Murray fan from the
get go, and when he came back and played well,
even though the Cardinals aren't, by any stretch of the imagination,
a good team, it seemed to justify my faith in him.
That being said, if the coach is not on board,
then it seems like he's gone. So then the question comes,

(01:20:18):
is he tradeable? Would you trade Kyler Murray? There are
plenty of teams out there? Would you have the stat
fifteen teams have had a backup quarterback start a game
this year and that's insane.

Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
That's half the league.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
So how much interest do you think would Kyler Murray
have on the market and how much would you have
to give up to get him?

Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
A lot of interest on the market because there's there's
some offensive coordinator out there that looks at that and goes, wow.

Speaker 2 (01:20:40):
What can I do with that? Okay, well, hold on
to that thought. We got much more coming up here. Yeah,
second half's underway. Seven games around the NFL. We got
it all covered here on end Zone Radio. It is
Week ten in the National Football Lay and we are
all over a very busy Sunday. Indeed, end Zone Radio,
we're in the Fox Sports Radio studio. Hey, by the way,

(01:21:00):

(01:21:22):
It's also the Big Hour. Oh yeah, it's the No
Huddle Hour. Do you know what time it is?

Speaker 10 (01:21:31):
No Huddle Hour?

Speaker 2 (01:21:33):
This is where we started, you know, catch you know what?
Which games? And by the way, every single week we
sit here and we have games that we think are
over done. I mean, for the Bears game last week,
I mean that game was over and then had one
of the most improbable endings to a game that we've
seen in the NFL all season. I'm gonna started. I

(01:21:58):
could go all day on that.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
I could go all day on that great tackle on
my man coast in Loveland, Michigan.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
All right, so Giants continually the Bears seventeen seven, five
minutes to go on the third there the Bills forget it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
It's just not their day.

Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
It's all Dalkins sixteen step Ravens are up now nineteen
to ten. They have just scored again, so they've increased
their lead. Big road game for the Ravens right now.
That's gonna be one of the questions moving forward. Is
Lamar Jackson got enough to get the Ravens back into
the playoff picture because if they get on a roll
at the end of the year, definitely a team that

(01:22:32):
you do not want to see in the postseason. Browns
and Jets still tied at seventeen. Patriots of Buccaneers finally
waking up here vj They got a first and goal
at New England's ten yard line, trailing the Patriots by
a score at twenty one to ten. And also the
Jaguars trying to increase their lead. They have a fourth
down right now, looks like they're gonna have a field

(01:22:53):
goal attempt, leading the Texans by a score of twenty
to ten. But on the other side, we were talking
little bit about this Cardinal dynamic as they get ready
to play the Seahawks today and Kyler Murray, uh, there's
you know again, he's getting no commitment from Gannon, the
coach of the Cardinals. That even if healthy, Kyler Murray

(01:23:14):
is going to be back at quarterback somehow. Jacoby Brissett,
who's obviously a placeholder not a plan for the future,
has been decent, at least for the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
Here, give me some teams. Give give give me a team.
Because it's funny.

Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
You mentioned about would you want Kyler Murray in a
Miami Dolphins uniform? Would that being upgrade for the Dolphins
or replaced two with Kyler Murray?

Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
No, too, was more accurate.

Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
So they're running around aspect doesn't doesn't doesn't entice me.
They're run they're running around.

Speaker 2 (01:23:43):
Accent Uh, aspect doesn't doesn't entice me. Okay, well, then
where does he appeal? Who where you appeals? Like I said,
there's an office of coordinator somewhere.

Speaker 3 (01:23:58):
I'm sorry, Yeah, we were saying this before the break,
before last second, before we took the last commercial break.
There there's some coordinator somewhere who is who thinks they
can work with him.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
They can.

Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
They look at him and they go, man, and my offense,
with what I coach, with what I do, I could
do something with that. They don't know what you're doing
with him out there because he's he's ultra talents. If
you were Kyle Shanahan, would you rather have Brock Purty
a quarterback or Kyler Murray?

Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
I mean because Brock has gotten into a super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
I mean you gave up a lot, You gave up
a lot in the draft for a young quarterback that
obviously did not make it. I mean Kyler Murray, Trey Lance.

Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
I mean, you know ky is way better than Trey Lance.
Well that's my whole pay.

Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
If you were that high on Trey Lance, then why
would you not be high on Kyler Murray. I wasn't
that high on you're talking about talking about Shahan made
me made a mistake.

Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
I mean, we'll find out soon or later whether and
it's that or not.

Speaker 3 (01:25:01):
But what I what I do know is this there,
Kyler Murray is better than you having to uh fight
over whether Dylan Gabriel Shador Sanders is gonna be a quarterback.
Kyler Murray is better than with that whatever's going on
and with the New Orleans Saints. Like he can go
somewhere else and be what they The Jets need, a

(01:25:24):
uplift and an up ticket quarterback. Like there's teams that
would be interested. He's just too talented now the price tag.
But then once again, this is what happens when you
pay your quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:25:35):
But you have to. That's why it has the cash in.

Speaker 3 (01:25:38):
It's crazy to me how we talk about all these
quarterbacks getting paid. There's only a few teams getting a
return Guys, only one team wins the super Bowl. There's
only one team that's getting like a full returner unless
you're the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (01:25:48):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
Josh Allen got paid. I don't hear nobody complaining about that.

Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
And they've been telling us he's going to the super
Bowl for the last five yes, and been to one.

Speaker 8 (01:25:56):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
No, It's just it's true.

Speaker 3 (01:25:58):
Joe dogging on Jo Hell, I'm dogging on all the
quarterbacks that got paid that we're gonna that. We're not
gonna rip them like we ripped some of these other dudes.
They all got paid.

Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
Jack Prescott got paid. How's that been working?

Speaker 1 (01:26:11):
Not well? Not well.

Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
But they screwed that up to They screwed that up
two contracts ago when Zeke decided to go to Cabo
and not go to camp and put the pressure on Jerry.

Speaker 2 (01:26:22):
We were talking about this earlier when we it's not
by the way, it's not just quarterback guys that get
paid and then all of a sudden, except.

Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
From Mals Garrett, except for Garrett.

Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
Okay, Miles Garrett got paid and is lean and running
away defensive player to you right now, which is why
he's a future Hall of Famer. Now, look, there's a
lot of guys that made money that continue to stride forward. Okay,
plenty of examples of that. But there's also more than
a few examples of guys that get paid and they

(01:26:52):
just stop, stop taking their game to another level.

Speaker 9 (01:26:56):
Steve would would you want Kyler Murray on your Raiders?

Speaker 1 (01:27:00):
Right?

Speaker 9 (01:27:01):
That's the most obvious fit to.

Speaker 1 (01:27:02):
Me, it would be a very That's exactly a fit.
I mean why not.

Speaker 2 (01:27:05):
I mean, he's obviously younger than Geno Smith, he has ability.
First thing they have to do there is get rid
of Chip Kelly. Okay, let's just start right there. Get
rid of Chip Kelly. Chip Kelly was the worst hire
that Pete Carroll made. Forget the special teams guy, let's
talk about your offensive coordinator. Chip Kelly is a disaster

(01:27:28):
for the Raiders right now. So yeah, I mean, if
you had Kyler Murray right and you got Ashton Genty.
You got Brock Bowers, he comes back with three touchdowns.
I mean Bowers is unbelievable talent and tied end. Get
some receiver help and bringing Kyler Murray? How could they
not be better? They got to be better?

Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
Right, you guys are hesitant?

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
I mean telling me you were a Kyler Murray fan.
Now I'm saying, yeah, I know, But once again I'm
gonna lean on.

Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
Are they going to develop him as the Raiders?

Speaker 4 (01:27:59):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:27:59):
You can't just throw a That's why I say you
get rid of Chip Kelly.

Speaker 1 (01:28:02):
Can't.

Speaker 3 (01:28:03):
You can't just throw a guy in a situation and
just go, Okay, he's gonna be better there because he's
better than what they have.

Speaker 2 (01:28:08):
How about your Cliff Kingsbury? Is your offensive court they
don't have?

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
If they have no idea how to develop a quarterback,
it don't matter who you bring in like if like
in the relationship, right, if the person doesn't have any accountability,
it doesn't matter who they date, They're gonna still face
the same problems. Girl to girl, got a guy, it
did You could change the situation, but can you develop
what the person that's going into the situation is? And

(01:28:34):
Colin Murray is still a top talent in this league
that he's not. But you gotta be able to develop
the guy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Has Arizona done him any favors around?

Speaker 9 (01:28:47):
They kind of did? I mean, they drafted the guy
that everybody thought was going to be the next we
all missed.

Speaker 1 (01:28:52):
Okay, but that's everybody.

Speaker 9 (01:28:54):
They hired Kingsbury right off the bat for him.

Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
Okay, So Kingsbury obviously with the Commanders, got a lot
of hype last year. Deserve really so with an insane
rookie season for Jade and Daniels, and now we'll look
at Jad and Daniels and we're thinking, Okay, what is
his future? Does he have the physical makeup to hold up?

Speaker 1 (01:29:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:29:12):
I know that.

Speaker 15 (01:29:13):
Kyler Murray, by the way, continued to be a question
all throughout when he was coming out of college.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
He was constantly undersized, but we all just papered over
the well exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:29:20):
And by the way, his built very similar to RG three's, right,
and both have a great rookie years with Washington team,
but physically they could not hold up, or at least
so far as for Jade and Daniels, think about Kyler
Murray is he's short, but he's thick. Okay, that's not
going to be the problem there. So if you're Cliff
Kingsbury right now and you had an opportunity to leave

(01:29:42):
the Commanders to go to the Raiders and hook up
again with Kyler Murray, would you take that? You always
take a head coaching, John Well, I not talk about headcoach.

Speaker 3 (01:29:51):
Oh yes, you always saying head coach always, Carroll, you
always take a head coach job.

Speaker 1 (01:29:57):
Okay, you always think does that doesn't take ahead coaching job?
Is I'm sorry, stupid b.

Speaker 9 (01:30:03):
The OC for a year and then when Pete retires.

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
That's right, that's exactly what I'm saying, right, head coaching waiting. Sorry,
you know the unwritten agreement, right, that's fine, But then
but you got to give a quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
But then you know Pete's lame duck for one year,
and you don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:30:16):
How that's going to go over with the mid sev
I think.

Speaker 9 (01:30:22):
Fire, they should, I think right, I think they should
bring just.

Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
Break a coordinator in for one year. No no, no, no
no no no no.

Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
Let's you can lose, you can okay, Okay, think about this.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
So they brought in Pete Carroll, brought in his former
quarterback Gino Smith. Replace that with Cliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray.

Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Why not?

Speaker 9 (01:30:42):
You have no sounds better right to me? There's two
teams for Kyler that makes sense. The Raiders are the
most obvious fit. I think that you could probably pencil
that in as happening now. The other team is the Vikings,
But I don't think they have any inclination to bring
him in or or move on from JJ yet. But no,
I think I just hasn't played the They're not gonna
move he hasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
Played a full season yet.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
And regardless of how this year turns out, they've been
decimated with a lot of injuries and missing guys and
stuff too.

Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
It's just been it's just been, like we talk.

Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
About all the time on this show and working with
you guys, how one year can't lead to the next,
right like last year?

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
You have these teams, you have you have the Chiefs.
Who's winning all these one score games? Right like?

Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
What is the seventeen eighteen in a row? Some ridiculous
Like now they can't win one. It's not sustainable. You
have to be able to like clearly beat your opponent
or you or it's just not gonna happen. You can't
just keep winning close games, or you can't keep just
you know, having these things.

Speaker 1 (01:31:37):
Just go your way to the ball, bouch your way.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
Sooner or later, you know, real realism comes into football
in sports, and that's what you're seeing with the Vikers
this year. I don't see him there. I don't what
the Jets are. That's another easy thing. You go to
New York, big market, marketable kid. You know, there's another
team I think that would.

Speaker 2 (01:31:56):
Be happy to get a guy like Kyler Murray over
what they have are the question marks that are coming
out of college. By the way week to week is crazy.
I think I heard on the Morning Show a couple
of weeks ago that if you had played the favorites
to cover and the over on every game, just blindly,
on every game, they were twenty two to three and one.

(01:32:17):
If you just bet the favorites to cover and the overs,
twenty two to three and one, and then the next
week it was the other way. Well, today looks like
an underday, guys. I mean, look what we got twenty
four total points, Giants, bear sixteen points Dolphins Bills twenty
nine points. We only have two teams that have scored

(01:32:37):
twenty points yet today Jaguars have twenty three and the Patriots.

Speaker 1 (01:32:41):
Have twenty one.

Speaker 2 (01:32:42):
So last week we had big scoring. Now let's come
back again, back and forth, back and forth.

Speaker 1 (01:32:47):
No, defense is are starting to sett alone. Defense is
a starting We say that week to one.

Speaker 4 (01:32:52):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 3 (01:32:52):
I've said it the last two weeks, not week to week.
I've only said the last week. As Buffalo finally gets
an end zone, Keon Coleman gets a touchdown, not they're
going to go for two right now?

Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:33:00):
Why Well, I'm trying to make it a one score
game against sixteen six.

Speaker 1 (01:33:03):
What's twelve and a half minutes left?

Speaker 2 (01:33:05):
Yeah, but if you get it to sixteen to eight,
then it's a one score game. All right, We're going
to roll on here. It's no huddle hour. Which one
of these games, by the way, bears getting a field goal,
Which one of these games is going to go down
to the wire. Hopefully games go down to the wire.
This is ends a radio.

Speaker 12 (01:33:24):
It is first and dol Ravens will come quickly to
the line, hand offf inside officials converging on the line
no signal yet touchdown, just as will the Ravens with
their first touchdown of the afternoon and they extend their lead.

Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
That's ninety eight Rock Ravens Radio Network. The Vikings have
answered back with a field goal, so two minutes ago
in the third quarter, Ravens lead the Vikings nineteen thirteen.
This is end Zone Radio, Harbin and Husky with you.
So we always hope here in the no Huddle Hour
that we are going to have some exciting finishes.

Speaker 1 (01:34:01):
No huddle Lower.

Speaker 2 (01:34:02):
Yeah, five of the seven games right now VJ are
one score games. Giants lead the Bears seventeen to ten,
Ravens over the Vikings nineteen thirteen, Browns and Jets still
tied at seventeen.

Speaker 5 (01:34:14):
No huddle Lower.

Speaker 2 (01:34:15):
Patriots lead the Buccaneers twenty one sixteen, Saints Pathers still ten.
Seven Saints over the Panthers. Right, no Huddleower struggling to
score against the Saints today. That's what I want to know.

Speaker 3 (01:34:29):
The Saints have has a decent, decent defense, and once
again it's a it's a division game, so you know
you have that working against you, and uh, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:34:40):
It happens the week ten man, I mean look at
look at it like the Bears.

Speaker 3 (01:34:43):
Right, we're talking about the Bears early day and Giants
we already got there, already got their new coach there, right,
you know, we got Dable out the door. But here
they are on the road to get the team that
people are trying to figure out.

Speaker 1 (01:34:52):
And we look at the.

Speaker 2 (01:34:52):
Bears and we go, Okay, you're at home and you
let this Giants team come in here with a rookie quarterback,
no no star receiver, no star running back, and you're
you ten.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
Points open the board.

Speaker 3 (01:35:01):
But every week I've been telling you guys, the Giants
have a tough defense. They have guys on the defensive
side of the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:35:07):
They just got to figure out the quarterback position to
get some offensive points put onto the board.

Speaker 1 (01:35:11):
Their defense is actually pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
Dart in this game nineteen of twenty nine, two hundred
and forty one yards, no touchdown, no picks, also has
run six times for sixty seven yards in two touchdown sets,
three hundred and eight total yards for Jackson Dart.

Speaker 9 (01:35:26):
It's funny you said Dart in this game, because he's
not Russell Wilson is in this game right now.

Speaker 1 (01:35:30):
What happened I saw that I just saw. Has he
been benched?

Speaker 2 (01:35:33):
Well he couldn't, you know, he's probably I don't know.
It's Brian Dabele. He could do anything.

Speaker 1 (01:35:37):
Well, he's in the medical tent. Okay. I was about
to say, well this, well, this is going to go south.

Speaker 2 (01:35:41):
By the way.

Speaker 9 (01:35:42):
He took some nasty hits in this game to be
on this.

Speaker 1 (01:35:44):
This is going this is going to go south.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
For by the way, should we give a kudos to
the way the Seahawks run their organization?

Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Think about this.

Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
You got rid of Russell Wilson at the right time, right,
you got rid of Gino Smith at the right time.

Speaker 15 (01:35:59):
And so either Sam Darnold after you know, the Viking
said we don't like this amazing thing that fell into
our last right, just like Geno Smith fell into the Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (01:36:08):
Laugh.

Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
So that that's the sign of a well run organization,
to be a step ahead, make decisions before they seemingly
have to be made. You know, Russell Wilson had plateaued,
you know, Gino Smith had plateaued, let's move on, let's
get some fresh blood in here and look at the Seahawks.
I was torn on the Seahawks when we were doing

(01:36:30):
our power five.

Speaker 1 (01:36:32):
I'm like, where do they fit in me right now?

Speaker 2 (01:36:34):
Yeah, they're definitely on deck, but they weren't quite there.
New England's first half today against Tampa pushed them into
my top five today. But that Seattle team, see the
forty nine ers. This is such a huge game coming
up between the forty nine ers and the Rams. We
had Kevin Burkhart talking about the game. He's going to
be on the call with Tom Brady later on today

(01:36:56):
for Fox, and whatever the reason, Kyle sham Hann has
just had Sean mcvay's number during the regular season. That
should not be the case today. The Rams should be
able to avenge their loss from earlier this year against
the forty nine ers. But if the Niners do win
this game, where does that put the NFC West right now?

Speaker 3 (01:37:16):
It puts it in a in a hell of a
three way fight for the last seven weeks to see
who's going to get this division to get a home
playoff game. But just back to Seattle and Bod, I
definitely want you in on this because we're talking about
Seattle and Darnold.

Speaker 1 (01:37:30):
But once again, like when we're doing.

Speaker 3 (01:37:32):
My top five, I look at Seattle until I just
do my numbers and research, and I realized that their
opponent's record going into today it's fifteen and twenty seven.
They beat Houston, the Commanders, the Jags, New Orleans, and
the Cardinals, right, and they lost to the Niners. So
the Niners already beat him in the Bucks. The Bucks

(01:37:53):
have beat him in the Niners and beat him right.

Speaker 1 (01:37:56):
They lost by combined seven points.

Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
It doesn't matter when they lost to the Niners. They
love they lost to Night They put up thirteen points
on the Ballards first, It doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (01:38:04):
It all matters.

Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
Well, we're gonna judge another team. No, no, because we
don't do that for every team. Well, a new quarterback,
I'm not gonna do that. We don't do that with
every team. And also with Sam Darnald, I'm gonna start
giving them a little nickname. This is Sam Groundhog Day Donald.

Speaker 1 (01:38:21):
Guys, we know because we know how this is. I
said it all last year.

Speaker 3 (01:38:25):
I literally sat in the same seat and said, all
last year, guys, it looks good. Now, talk to me
in week sixteen, seventeen eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
So he had two bad games at the end of
the year, and that erased the entire year. Wasn't all
on Sam Donald.

Speaker 1 (01:38:37):
No, he played terrible, play terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
The coach, by the way, has yet to win a
game in the postseason.

Speaker 3 (01:38:43):
So listen, I'll say this, guys, trust me on this.
They see the Seahawks will look good. They'll be in
the conversation all year long. The Seahawks will lose a
playoff game that they're favored to win. Them and buff
Buffalo will both lose a playoff game that they're favored
to winning this postseason, and then it'll go, oh, Sam
Darnold did okay.

Speaker 1 (01:39:03):
And at the end of the day, when the chips
was on the table, what happened? What happened? We saw
it last year? Right, No, am I the only one
I missed the way.

Speaker 2 (01:39:14):
The hold on, hold on year. We're missing comeback player
of the year right now. Russell Wilson has got the
Giants on the move right now, look at him.

Speaker 15 (01:39:22):
Try to drive Jackson dark, Jackson dark, No, No, Jackson.
Dart headeds to the locker room rapport just said it's
a concussion.

Speaker 2 (01:39:30):
So that's Russell Wilson.

Speaker 1 (01:39:32):
That Russell Wilson, that's Russ Look at it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:35):
He's driving the entire baron in the hey got his
arm around his neck and the player of the year
right there, come back.

Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
It's not cooking yet. He's trying to comeback. Player of
the drive.

Speaker 2 (01:39:51):
Jacks have scored. That's right, justin fields, a forty two
yard touchdown pass you three ass while they're finally in
positive net yardage. So the Jets take the lead over
the Browns twenty four to seventeen. Uh So, after that
three for five for five yards start for justin Fields,
he's now six of eleven fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:40:12):
He had twelve.

Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
Yards passing before that pass away a forty two yard
pass the Breesehall has given the Jets the lead. Jets
on a roll right now, guys, right.

Speaker 9 (01:40:22):
I mean, okay, we have to figure out all they
went back to back games. We have to stop is pouring.
We have to stop giving quarterbacks to the yardage on
those kinds of passes. That was a three yard dump
off to Breeze Hall that he took the rest of
the way.

Speaker 1 (01:40:35):
Forty two yards. He goes in the books.

Speaker 9 (01:40:37):
I so as he is getting hit and taken to
the grounds of screen pass level, I might, I might,
that's all.

Speaker 3 (01:40:45):
Yeah, I might ride with you on that too, man,
Because I'm I did the same thing as Josh Allen,
just fumbled the ball backs in the Dolphins Apple turnover.

Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Allen, I told you that's what. There's no living with VJ.

Speaker 2 (01:40:58):
Turnover waiting all year long, miserable Dolphins two and seven
on the air, are having a day. Yeah, getting trolled
by everybody exceptal months he Monts has been the only
sweetheart to me.

Speaker 1 (01:41:07):
In the studio all year long.

Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
Conspiracy, Sam, there's no conspiracy when the team's two and seven,
there's no conspiracy. You're like, where are the highlights for
the Dolphins? What highlights?

Speaker 1 (01:41:18):
Yeah, when they score, that's the highlights I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:41:20):
We did, We played the Dolphins highlight. Okay, what team
has had no highlights today? That is the Texans. Jaguars
lead twenty three to ten at Houston and they have
a first and goal on the Texans six yard line.
So the Texans they lose today, they go to three
and six, three games behind the Jags. Not looking good

(01:41:42):
for Houston.

Speaker 1 (01:41:42):
I'm a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
That's a problem.

Speaker 3 (01:41:44):
We don't know how long CJ. Strole's gonna a concussion.
Can be a week, it could be a month. He's
still in protocol he wasn't suited up today, so who
knows what is going to look like next week?

Speaker 2 (01:41:52):
And if he's out next week, if they don't have
a buy, they're in trouble. You don't have a quarterback,
you're in trouble. That's the bottom line. Raven's trying to
answer back after the Viking. It's a field goal. Ravens
have the ball up six and the first and ten
right now at the Minnesota seventeen yard line. All right,
let's find out what is trending right now.

Speaker 1 (01:42:09):
Only nice, the only nice person around here.

Speaker 2 (01:42:13):
He's like he's grasping, the only one that cares. I'm
giving him all his kudos today.

Speaker 1 (01:42:19):
I have been for the Dolf, the compliments, compliments, don't.

Speaker 2 (01:42:23):
Stop playing always. It's not a backhand compliment. It's terrible
just today, which.

Speaker 10 (01:42:34):
It is a fact.

Speaker 1 (01:42:35):
They stink stopping good.

Speaker 2 (01:42:37):
Hey they're good, seem when through that interception, nobody got
on the mic and said to a turn the ball over.

Speaker 10 (01:42:44):
So nobody nobody did he did that?

Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
Nobody did Your hyper sens understandable, but we could it
could be worse.

Speaker 11 (01:42:52):
I just think it's low hanging fruit to point out
to you that the Dolphins their ass.

Speaker 2 (01:42:55):
Here's yeah, I love the fruit.

Speaker 1 (01:42:58):
They're bad.

Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
This is what makes this show. Every time I think
anybody take a step that nobody has a filter around.
Every time I take a step, I mean you got
you got bo is a shameless defense of Caleb Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:43:12):
She just she just shows her.

Speaker 2 (01:43:14):
Man. I'm just I'm just trying to figure out I
ever did to any of you guys. I'm still sometimes
I drive home like, what did I do with you?

Speaker 1 (01:43:22):
You are the new kid on the block this year,
you know?

Speaker 11 (01:43:24):
Oh no, no, no, it's how much you.

Speaker 2 (01:43:27):
Were talking.

Speaker 1 (01:43:30):
May nine years. I've said enough, I've said enough.

Speaker 11 (01:43:36):
Yeah, Bills are not good, and so my fantasy football
teams are not great because Josh Allen has been six seven,
as the kids say, maybe even worse than that. Dolphins
are up sixteen to six halfway through the fourth quarter.
Giants yeah with Russell Wilson because Jackson Dark is being
evaluated for a concussion and they haven't officially ruled him
out for the rest of the game. But Giants are

(01:43:56):
up right now against Chicago in Chicago twenty to ten.
Ravens holding on to it hasn't been pretty for Baltimore offensively,
but it hasn't been pretty at all offensively for the Vikings.
But Baltimore is up right now, nineteen to three early
in the fourth quarter. Jets over the Browns right now
twenty four seventeen. Also early in the fourth, the Buccaneers
were driving, but the Patriots stopped them and got the

(01:44:19):
ball back, so Neil New England is still up twenty
one sixteen. Again early in the fourth, Tyler Shook has
thrown another touchdown pass, this one to Juwan Johnson, so
the Saints have extended their lead over the Panthers. Seventeen
to seven is the score, and the Jaguars have added
some more points. They are just crushing the Texans in
Houston twenty nine to ten with about ninety seconds to

(01:44:39):
go ish in the third quarter, so there's still a
whole fourth quarter there.

Speaker 10 (01:44:43):
The Colts defeated the Falcons.

Speaker 11 (01:44:44):
In Berlin, came back to beat them thirty one to
twenty five. Jonathan Taylor ended with two hundred and forty
four rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Speaker 10 (01:44:52):
He now has sixty six rushing touchdowns, which is the
most in franchise history.

Speaker 11 (01:44:56):
Still to come, the Cardinals and the Seahawks, and wide
receiver Cooper Cup and tight end aj Barner are both
active for today against Arizona. When it comes to the
AP Football Top twenty five College pole, well, the top
five didn't move.

Speaker 10 (01:45:09):
But Texas back in the top ten.

Speaker 11 (01:45:11):
Wow, and at number ten, and they're going to face
Georgia next week.

Speaker 10 (01:45:14):
Number five.

Speaker 1 (01:45:15):
Have you ever seen any college four? Have you watched them?

Speaker 10 (01:45:19):
I don't, I know, I hear you, but this.

Speaker 1 (01:45:22):
Has got the weirdest college rankings.

Speaker 10 (01:45:24):
It does, it does. BYU dropped four spots. They're now
in at number twelve.

Speaker 11 (01:45:29):
They suffered their first loss to Texas Tech this weekend yesterday.
Pittsburgh coming in at number twenty three, was not ranked
last week. James Madison coming in at number twenty four
not ranked last week, and South Florida coming in on
a number twenty five.

Speaker 2 (01:45:41):
Did us go?

Speaker 10 (01:45:42):
Usc Is? I have the list right here. They are
now seventeen.

Speaker 2 (01:45:47):
Okay, they're moving up, They're moving up.

Speaker 11 (01:45:48):
Louisville dropped, they went down to fifteen, and uh yeah,
Cincinnati twenty two.

Speaker 1 (01:45:55):
Quick sidebar did you play ah today?

Speaker 10 (01:45:58):
I did?

Speaker 1 (01:45:58):
Okay? Hell I always play. He just had a long
touch list.

Speaker 11 (01:46:02):
He's been great yeah, yeah, yeah, but what's the record
for Miami?

Speaker 1 (01:46:05):
Don't know?

Speaker 2 (01:46:06):
Okay, now I'll beat it, and I now hope the
stealers kicked the living hell what if you watched me
last night? You already know the results.

Speaker 1 (01:46:19):
I get him. I'm life's getting black. I get My
feeling is very factic.

Speaker 2 (01:46:22):
All right, here we stick mo MONSI.

Speaker 10 (01:46:25):
Yes, thank you very much?

Speaker 4 (01:46:26):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:46:27):
Oh do you have more?

Speaker 10 (01:46:27):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:46:28):
No, no, you're done? Okay, I don't have shut it now? Yeah,
that's what you did?

Speaker 5 (01:46:32):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:46:34):
All right, once again, Harvid Husky. Here we're in the
Fox Sports Radio studios end Zone Radio. Hey, with the
iHeart Radio app, you can stream us wherever you happen
to be. Catch us in all of our Fox Sports
Radio shows live twenty four to seven, then the new
one improved iHeartRadio app. Just search Fox Sports Radio in
the app to stream us live all day, every day,
and be sure to select Fox Sports Radio is one

(01:46:56):
of your presets in the iHeart apps you always pop
up at the top of your screen. All right, Ravens
scored again, so they now lead the Vikings twenty seven
to thirteen. So Raven's taking charge there A little inside
eleven minutes to go in that game, the Buccaneers, they've
been on an uphill climb ever since. Early in the

(01:47:19):
game they were up seven to nothing. Patriots taken control.
But right now it's the Patriots twenty one sixteen, ten
minutes to go. Now the Bucks have the ball down there. Yeah,
Miami scored again. Got to save some of these points.
Eight ten with one hundred and thirty eight yards on
the ground today, Wow, amazing. Yeah, where's the Stepen all
year twenty three six? I don't mean a pieces show.

(01:47:42):
You know they've been there, so it doesn't matter where
they've been all year long. You know this is where
they are today. Where are the Panthers today? This would
really be I know it's a division and we talked
about this, but you get to five and four, you
get yourself in a position where you're in the playoff conversation,
playing arguably the worst team in the league with a

(01:48:02):
first time starting quarterback and shuck, and you're losing seventeen
to seven on your home field.

Speaker 1 (01:48:09):
It's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:48:09):
I would love to have ready for prime time. I'll
watch this. Oh yeah, right, not prime time at all.
That game is only in one market, well two markets,
I would want to go back and watch this game
because the numbers just kind of don't make sense when
you even look at just the total yards of each
team right now, right, you know, three point thirty nine
for the Saints, but it's only you know, equaled up

(01:48:31):
to seventeen points one to seventy five seven points.

Speaker 14 (01:48:34):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:48:34):
They the Panthers have had the ball three more times.
They've had three more possessions than the Saints have, So
the numbers aren't jumping off to like where what's going
on here?

Speaker 2 (01:48:45):
Is eighteen to twenty six, sixty eight yards and two touchdowns,
But those are good numbers by any standard, and you
would think.

Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
It would muster for more than seventeen points though.

Speaker 2 (01:48:53):
Yeah, but again he is playing well.

Speaker 3 (01:48:56):
They've turned the ball over. They each have had the
ball for twenty six minutes. Each team have had the ball.
Even though Thomas ess is an overrated stats to me,
it's just that I'm just using right now to just
say both teams have had the ball, like, no one's
hogging the ball. It's once again, I would have to
go back and just watch this game and trying to
figure out. I was like, what exactly is is going on?

Speaker 2 (01:49:13):
Are you a Kellen Moore guy? Because we we had this,
you know, this narrative for a number of years that
Kellen Moore is a future NFL coach, right right, which
he is, and well now he is, he's a head coach.
And so you look at the Saints team, one in eight,
all four on the road. Now all of a sudden,
shuck is in. It's playing really well today. And I

(01:49:35):
think I said this a couple of weeks ago about
the Saints. The Saints are a team that have pieces.
They have pieces. By the way you look at this,
they actually just put up Derek. Were they listening to
the show? Where else?

Speaker 1 (01:49:49):
Us Man?

Speaker 2 (01:49:50):
Where else? Was anyone talking about? Derreck Henry's high school stats.

Speaker 3 (01:49:55):
Had more high school yards rushing than Franco Harris and
Thurmot Thomas had in their NFL careers.

Speaker 2 (01:50:01):
I just get he get his senior year of high school,
He's had fifty five rushing touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (01:50:07):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:50:07):
One that's crazy about Kevin war I think what happened
with him. He took a job a year too late,
because remember he was on the hot seat. He was
on the hot charts to be hired the year before.
Decided to go back to Dallas, right, and then you
kind of gotta take what's out there in this Saints job,
even though you have some pieces like Kamara and Chris Olave,

(01:50:31):
but it feels like those guys kind of want to
get out of there, right, so they're not going to
be sold in to you being there. You're playing a
division that seemingly is going to be owned by the Bucks.
You see their down fourth quarter eight minutes to go
at Home Newon in twenty one to sixteen. You know,
the Panthers were rebuilding. You know the Falcons had to
kind of rebuild. So you figure, oh, I'll go take
this job. It's a winnable division. No, it's not a
winnable division. The Bucks got the division. You got some pieces,

(01:50:55):
some things that need to happen there. I thought Sean
Payton caught lightning in a bottle the one year that
they won the Super Bowl, because if you really look
at the Saints other than that one year.

Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
Now, I still say the Rams they got a playoffs
every year. Payton's the same as Pete Carroll's. That doesn't thn.
Harbaugh's are all in the same.

Speaker 3 (01:51:17):
And you know what those and you know what those
guys did those guys got into the one Super Bowls
also too, So it doesn't make him.

Speaker 2 (01:51:22):
That they all have the same, right, they're all the same.

Speaker 3 (01:51:26):
But I thought Harball did more with less than both
those guys. I thought Sean Payton for Hall of Fame shore.

Speaker 2 (01:51:31):
A ballot Johnbody more because he has the best quarterback
in the league and he can't win a playoff game.

Speaker 1 (01:51:38):
No, no, no, he's done more with less. He's done more.

Speaker 2 (01:51:41):
You have what you call it three time MVP, technically
a two time MVP, and you've won three playoff games
of Lamar Jackson as your quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:51:48):
That's three.

Speaker 2 (01:51:50):
You can't say he's doing more with less. Yes, he
might have been doing that with Joe Flacco. He got
ten playoff wins out of Joe Flacco, but he only
has three out of Lamar Jackson. Do you guys know
Joe Flacco like a top ten quarterback right now in
the NFL. So you guys, I mean you can't use
that he is. Just go look at the numbers that
we want to do numbers munching and we do mathematician,
then we can go look at those numbers.

Speaker 1 (01:52:09):
But back to.

Speaker 3 (01:52:09):
Kellingmore, Yeah, it's and I just thought he waited a
year too long.

Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
I like, I like when guys strike when it's hot.

Speaker 2 (01:52:15):
Man, Well, do you believe that the Saints have pieces?
I mean, they got They're gonna have to move him though,
They're gonna have to move a lot, and he's gonna
be gonna have right.

Speaker 1 (01:52:25):
They're gonna have to move the yes, do that pieces.

Speaker 2 (01:52:27):
Yeah, but they're gonna have to move those pieces and
do like a total rebuild, And I just think they're
waiting too long to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:52:34):
When a new coach comes in, I'm all for the
rebuild now. Like I'm all for the rebuild now. Let's
not wait, let's not. You should already know what you
have and what you don't have. Pull out all the tape,
spend all the off season when you get the job,
just looking and beating guys out.

Speaker 2 (01:52:50):
Speaking of tape, look at this throw, beautiful absolute coverage.

Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
What is the corner doing? But right the corner corner crazy?

Speaker 2 (01:53:00):
One step on him in the past, is right?

Speaker 9 (01:53:02):
Is there?

Speaker 7 (01:53:03):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
Whoever it is?

Speaker 2 (01:53:04):
The Patriots now have a first and goal uh situation.
Drake May takes a hit and gets rid of the
ball and throws a perfect pass, so first and goal
for the Patriots. Right now, we still have inside seven
minutes to go. Patriots lead the Buccaneers at Tampa by
a score of twenty one to six.

Speaker 3 (01:53:25):
The one thing I will say about Drake is the
worst thing I will give me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
it. And that's just stupid. No, it's stupid. It's stupid. He's
wrapped up by one player. There's one buck that's already
gotten may around his waist. He's kind of pulling them
already out of bounds. He's kind of defenseless. And I
know they probably won't call that. It's just gonna be
an unsports flight conduct move.

Speaker 2 (01:53:43):
Well, actually I think there was a I think there
was a flag on New England on the play.

Speaker 1 (01:53:47):
It wasn't they now they'll have to offset. It's gonna
probably be all sets.

Speaker 3 (01:53:51):
But this is just a stupid This is just a
stupid And that's and this is what Vrabel's upset about
because that's his quarterback.

Speaker 1 (01:53:57):
And I get it. It's late in the game. You
shouldn't be down.

Speaker 3 (01:54:01):
You give up a big bomb, But it's dumb to
just lay a hit on the quarterback like that. That
is going down and being pulled out of bounds. That's stupid.
Now we'll see what the two flags are. But that's
just a dumb move.

Speaker 2 (01:54:11):
I didn't see the second flag even dropped.

Speaker 1 (01:54:14):
He'd be honest.

Speaker 2 (01:54:15):
Now, I think that they came over and said, all right,
so I think we're gonna get a hold on.

Speaker 1 (01:54:21):
Holding. They're both on defense. Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:54:23):
And the reason why you didn't see a second flag
drop is because he threw his hat, because he had
already thrown the flag.

Speaker 2 (01:54:28):
Okay, so yeah that already because I thought it was
an offensive hold. It was a defensive hold on the play,
all right. So that gets New England a little bit
closer to the goal line. All right, we got some
exciting finishes around them. Josh all lipping out there. He's
getting killed out there today. He's taking a lot of
hits today. Dolphins are on their way back, on their
way back by the way out. And when he went out,

(01:54:49):
that's ten and seven. Yeah, well one down, seven to go.
This is end zone radio.

Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
All out, blitz coming fields, looks right, swing pass right,
cut on the screen, brace hall, run's right, the thirty
five cut inside the twenty.

Speaker 10 (01:55:02):
To the fifteenth.

Speaker 2 (01:55:03):
Ten five, that's a jet.

Speaker 4 (01:55:05):
Touchdown on all out blitz and Justin Fields burns. The
Browns defense perfectly executed. Screen to priests Hall and the
Jets have belief that.

Speaker 2 (01:55:17):
That's Q one O four to three Jets Radio Network.
Jets continue to leave the Browns twenty four to seventeen,
ten and a half minutes ago in the fourth quarter.
We are end zone a radio Steve Harbin VJ. Husky
with you here in the Fox Sports Radio studios. My
partner's going absolutely nuts right now because that was just
that was great. Hey, So what happened here is the

(01:55:38):
Dolphins still very much in control now twenty three to thirteen,
just three and a half minutes to go in the
fourth quarter. So the Dolphins got called for a taunting penalty?

Speaker 1 (01:55:48):
Is that what happened?

Speaker 7 (01:55:49):
Then?

Speaker 3 (01:55:50):
Chub Chubb five, He gets a clean sack on Josh Allen.
He just gets up off of them like he crawls
up all of them and goes and doesn't sack, dance
and deps up teammates, doesn't say nothing to a player,
doesn't look at another bill's way, it's anything, walks back
to the huddle and a late tawny flag gets thrown out.
You can see the whole Dolphins sideline. Everybody feels like, dude,

(01:56:10):
what are you talking about, Tawny. And then the Buffalo
Bills throw up and then the Buffalo Bills throwing a
touchdown on the next play, and you want people at
home to not believe in some of the stuff that's
going on, that's been coming out.

Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
And leaking hill. Then you don't know, and then we
see stuff like this.

Speaker 2 (01:56:27):
I got news for you, BJ And you know this already.
There are those that get favored plays.

Speaker 1 (01:56:32):
I mean, Tom Brady.

Speaker 2 (01:56:33):
You don't think Tom Brady had favoritism his entire freaking career,
getting ten ten point game him they were gonna call
roughing the ten point game.

Speaker 1 (01:56:40):
You guys know what the spread was this morning? Nine
and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:56:43):
Yeah, oh, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:56:44):
The spread on this game was nine and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:56:47):
Because that sack was actually gonna end the drive and
give the ball back to the Dolphins. Dolphins, then you know,
a few runs, few plays, run the clock out.

Speaker 1 (01:56:54):
Game over. Now it's a ten point game and the
Bills are going for a time.

Speaker 3 (01:56:59):
The Bills are favored by yeah, I'm sorry the Bills. Yeah,
Bill's will favored by yeah. But the Dolphins had to
cover the nine and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:57:04):
Okay, well they are, they're up by ten man. Yeah,
who knows how Oh, we had an on site kill.

Speaker 1 (01:57:11):
Who turns out all right, the Dolphins are covered, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:57:14):
So which games are in play right now? The Browns
have the ball down seven ten and a half minutes
to go in the fourth against the Jets. But the
big thing here was the Patriots and the Buccaneers. So
Drake may again, this guy has made huge strides this
year under the tutelage of Mike Vrabel. But he made
one of the bonehead passes that we've seen all day long.

(01:57:38):
Up twenty one to sixteen. At the very least you
want to get a field goal to make it an
eight point game. He's rolling out, he's trying to buy
some time inside the ten yard line, and he throws
a pick.

Speaker 1 (01:57:48):
In the end zone.

Speaker 2 (01:57:48):
And it wasn't pretty. It was not a pretty pass.
Two defenders on the play in front of the receiver.
One of them intercepted the ball. So the Bucks get
the ball back and they have the ball right now,
trailing the just by a score of twenty one to sixteen.
And again, when you have a quarterback like Baker Mayfield,
his ticket to an MVP award.

Speaker 1 (01:58:07):
Is what fourth quarter comebacks?

Speaker 2 (01:58:09):
This year, He's been leading the Bucks back week after
week after week. And you look at Mike Rabel's face
right after the interception by Drake May, like, two straight.

Speaker 3 (01:58:20):
Weeks we're praising, not me, you guys praising Drake May
as he goes into the locker room for halftime. Two
straight weeks he comes out in that second half and
produces almost nothing. They scored on their first possession, they
scored on their first possession to start the second one
to do. Then they threw the bomb to get them
down there, but once again. And this is why the
question from Bow last week is why am I not

(01:58:42):
in on Drake May's Because by week ten, I in
second year in the league. I don't have to be
in on the guy, and we're not in on somebody
that's going to the playoffs every year and winning Super Bowls.
Like I just, I'm sorry, I just it just doesn't
fit my it doesn't fit my narrative the way I
can view the court backsist. I will say this though,
the one thing I do like about him his calmness,
his mocks and his size.

Speaker 1 (01:59:04):
He's a big guy.

Speaker 3 (01:59:05):
He's built for the punishment. He's built, you know, to
be a leader. There are some good things to like
about him.

Speaker 2 (01:59:11):
I just need to I mean, first of all, I
need to see them finish this game off, because if
they lose this game, this will be another quality opponent
that they didn't be on the road. I mean, this
is a huge win for them if they win at Town.

Speaker 1 (01:59:23):
They're poor. You big there, Yeah, but up all the time?

Speaker 2 (01:59:27):
Well again, and oh so close to an interception right there?

Speaker 1 (01:59:32):
Yeah, Flagg going out.

Speaker 2 (01:59:32):
Okay, So, of the six quarterbacks taken in the first
twelve picks, I'll go to you first, Bow Okay, Caleb Williams,
Jaden Daniels, Drake May, Michael Pennix, Junior, JJ McCarthy bow knicks.
Which one of those six quarterbacks right now today is
the best quarterback in the league, Drake May.

Speaker 1 (01:59:53):
Drake May?

Speaker 2 (01:59:54):
All right, Chris again, those six quarterbacks taken, we got Caleb, Williams,
Jade and Daniels right now, Frake May, Michael Pennix Jr.
JJ McCarthy bow knicks today, which one of those six
is the best quarterback?

Speaker 15 (02:00:07):
I'm gonna have to lean Drake may as well. I've
got a slight edge for Caleb there too. I'm watching
JJ just really gass it up here.

Speaker 2 (02:00:15):
I'm not down on him at all. Okay, so there
it is, all right. So I'm gonna ask you, obviously, VJ.
Those six quarterbacks today, which one of those is the
best quarterback?

Speaker 1 (02:00:25):
I don't have an answer. You have no answer.

Speaker 3 (02:00:28):
No, I don't have to have an answer. It's because
it's a can we put Jackson Dart in there?

Speaker 2 (02:00:35):
Well?

Speaker 1 (02:00:35):
Jackson Darts a rookie show, I know.

Speaker 3 (02:00:37):
But what if I want to take him over to you?

Speaker 2 (02:00:40):
Why don't you say J McCarthy? Because if you're asking
who's the best right now now, Drake may just threw
a pick, So I mean, I mean the second maybe
he's not the best.

Speaker 1 (02:00:50):
Bo Nicks bo Nicks.

Speaker 2 (02:00:53):
Okay, interesting, I'll have my answer. That's a radio all right,
coming down, this 'srightch with the morning games here, Week
ten of the National Football League End Zone radio in
the Fox Sports Radio studios. Bad loss for the Panthers
today at home, losing to the Saints seventeen to seven.

(02:01:14):
So that game is a final. Panthers dropped to five
and five. I can't lose that game at home. Now,
we always talk about every week there's a game like
we like, game's over, and all of a sudden it's not.
Jacksonville and the Texans. This game was twenty nine to
ten Jaguars. It is now twenty nine to twenty four,

(02:01:34):
and the Texans have the ball with seven and a
half minutes to go. So Davis Mills two hundred and
fifty nine yards passing two touchdowns trying to beg the
Texans back. And this is a huge game for the Texans.
They came in at three and five, Jacksonville at five
and three, so the Texans are back in this game. Meanwhile,
the Patriots, Wow Treveon Henderson big touchdown run after the

(02:01:59):
Buccaneers got the ball back after the Drake May interception.
Could not get in the end zone, however, and it
now looks like a little too little, too late. New
England in charge twenty eight to sixteen. Bucks do have
the ball, but there's only thirty eight seconds left, So
Patriots are gonna move to eight and two here and
the Bucks will fall to six and three. I'm trying

(02:02:20):
to make of the what do we make of the
NFC South right now? Atlanta lost today game they easily
could have won. That's why the Panthers lost today was brutal.
Ye had Tampa Bay losing. Yeah, Atlanta losing and you
have a chance to move up and.

Speaker 1 (02:02:38):
You lose to the Saints.

Speaker 2 (02:02:39):
You let Tampa off the hook today for blowing that
game at home against the Patriots.

Speaker 3 (02:02:44):
Kudo to the Patriots for this dub today and getting
it out. But you just said to do commercial break
running game. I normally don't like the narrative. Oh say
the quarterback. It's a team game. I played football, I
coach it. I just talk about it, if you would,
differently than most people do, because I guess it. I
understand quarterbacks are the ones we talk about winning lose.

Speaker 1 (02:03:03):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (02:03:03):
But it is eleven on defense, eleven on offense, eleven
special teams, and then a bunch of guys that you
never know and hear about that helped the other offense, defensive,
special teams get.

Speaker 1 (02:03:12):
Prepared to play.

Speaker 3 (02:03:13):
The scout players, the you know, the assistance, the scouts, everybody. Man,
it's a It's that's why it hurts so bad to
lose a game, because you only get one shot out.

Speaker 1 (02:03:23):
As Caleb Williams.

Speaker 3 (02:03:24):
He has a scramble around the left side and touchdown
against the Giants, so they now take the leader.

Speaker 2 (02:03:30):
Hold on, I just saw bo literally leap out of
his seat on that one with the I told you so,
best quarterback in this game.

Speaker 1 (02:03:41):
Is Caleb Williams.

Speaker 9 (02:03:41):
Yeah, I was gonna ask Steve is he is he
out playing Jackson Dart now or well.

Speaker 1 (02:03:45):
Jackson Dart of the game.

Speaker 9 (02:03:47):
Can you that question you asked us? Can you ask that?

Speaker 1 (02:03:50):
Gets? Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:03:51):
So, which one of the six quarter you had Drake
May is your number one? Now you're changing your mind.

Speaker 10 (02:03:55):
Well, it's just you didn't ask me.

Speaker 2 (02:03:57):
I thought that was Monci.

Speaker 1 (02:03:59):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (02:04:00):
The six quarterbacks that was taken in the twelve you
were so busy, You're busy.

Speaker 1 (02:04:04):
I was waiting.

Speaker 11 (02:04:05):
I was waiting after VG said don't want to answer.

Speaker 10 (02:04:07):
I was ready.

Speaker 1 (02:04:07):
I was you were busy. You're all right?

Speaker 10 (02:04:10):
So, right now, which is the same every time?

Speaker 2 (02:04:13):
Of the six quarterbacks taken in the last year's draft
and the first twelve picks, right now, which one is
the best quarterback?

Speaker 10 (02:04:19):
Obvious answer is Caleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (02:04:21):
Caleb Williams sorry, obvious answer, obvious answer, yes, And you
would have said that before that.

Speaker 10 (02:04:25):
Before I was waiting, I was like Cail Williams. Somebody
asked me, it's Caleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (02:04:28):
All right, Well, I tell you what if they hold
on to this lead, Uh, this would get to Bears
to six and three. Guys, you know, and and and
you suddenly look at that division with the Vikings right
now losing, the Vikings going to come back, there's still
it's still a one score game.

Speaker 1 (02:04:48):
Guy, is an eight point games. I got to get
the ball back.

Speaker 3 (02:04:52):
And this is why I don't like going for two
in that last possession, because I get what you were saying. Now,
guess what they want to win the game out right?

Speaker 1 (02:04:58):
VJ. Well, guess what they can't do right now? Win
the game out right?

Speaker 2 (02:05:01):
All right? I want to interject Curse here because he
is our Lions insider. I put it this way, insider,
what do you make right outside the Lions?

Speaker 1 (02:05:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:05:10):
What do you make right now of the Detroit Lions, who,
by the way, obviously you are playing the Commanders this afternoon.
They better win that game on the road against the
Commander's team that didn't have the quarterback. What do you
make of the Lions? Right now, what do you make
of that NFC North right now?

Speaker 15 (02:05:25):
I mean that's a pretty broad question where I think
I will say this, like, I think their defense has
at least like been about where it is or a
little bit better. But we were kind of getting the
opposite of what they had. They had a lot of
injuries last year on defense and now like the interior
that offensive line, Like I wasn't here last week, but
I had some people ask me about it, and that

(02:05:46):
was an offensive line that looked like it missed Frank
Ragnow and was starting to basically virtually two rookies at
at guards like and that was the first time playing
a Brian Flora's defense. This offense line needs a lot
more growing up to do. And when they don't have
that protection in the middle, like, their offense is just

(02:06:07):
gonna get greatered. It's gonna be the screen passes and
you know, I think they are missing some of the creativity.
They're still the best team in the NFC North, in
the NFC North, I think so until they're until they're
dethroned by someone. I think all of these other teams
have some flaws. Like I'm still not believing in Jordan
Love taking this next step.

Speaker 1 (02:06:24):
People believe he is. He's put up a lot of stinks.

Speaker 2 (02:06:26):
All the teams that are, you know, in the playoff
picture right now, by the way, it is a final score.
The Patriots defeat the Buccaneers twenty eight to twenty three. Uh,
that gets them to eight and two, guys four and
zero on the road on the road. This year, Buccaneers
dropped to six and three, but still lead the division.

Speaker 15 (02:06:46):
If I can just wrap up the point, I don't
think they are as good as they are last year,
but I also think the entire division isn't as good
as where they.

Speaker 1 (02:06:53):
Are last year.

Speaker 2 (02:06:54):
Like well, that was a division that ended last year
with a thud, zero and three in the playoffs, and
so that to me was a precursor that it was
not going to be the kind of season they had
a year ago. All right, guys, let's keep an eye
on the New York Giants right now.

Speaker 1 (02:07:10):
All right.

Speaker 2 (02:07:10):
So the Bears finally take the lead twenty four to
twenty with a minute forty We got a minute twenty
one to go right now, and the Giants have the
ball near midfield. Russell Wilson is in a quarterback for
the injured Jackson dart and obviously if field goal is
not going to do them any good. The Giants have

(02:07:30):
two timeouts, but they don't seem to want to use
them right now. They seem like they want to run
out the clock. Why are they doing that? We're wasting
twenty second. I mean, he's got to go faster, but
I wouldn't have called it. I mean, look at this,
what are they doing? Taking his tweak twenty second since
the last play and he's gonna get sacked or that's

(02:07:51):
a intentional grounding. He's in the pocket. That should be intentional.

Speaker 3 (02:07:57):
Ground Now, I don't think the running back might have
been right to his life where he immediately pointed, so
he knows that he.

Speaker 1 (02:08:03):
Knows he pointed, but he wasn't actually intend.

Speaker 2 (02:08:06):
To a lion a lineman. Excuse me, I'm not going
to point to a lineman like he had. No he
had a running back there for.

Speaker 1 (02:08:11):
A veteran quarterback to a butcher the clock.

Speaker 2 (02:08:13):
The way he has the last twenty five seconds honestly
is inexcusable. So the Giants do have the ball forty
six seconds, I guess they're gonna reach out forty six
seconds to go. They're on their own forty six yard line.
They trail of Bears twenty four to twenty. Giants are
leading most of this game. Jackson Dart went out with

(02:08:33):
a concussion symptoms and another incomplete pass there from it.
And can you imagine if he's out any length of
time and now you have to.

Speaker 1 (02:08:43):
Like officially go back to Russell.

Speaker 3 (02:08:46):
I would actually go back to my man, famous Jamis
aka krab Legs Winston.

Speaker 1 (02:08:50):
I'm telling you, man, if it comes down to this
for the Giants.

Speaker 2 (02:08:54):
What do you do a couple of finals. Jets get
their second strand break up the Jets. They hang on
to defeat the Browns twenty seven to twenty, and the
Dolphins demolish the Bills today, not even as close as
the score indicates, thirty to thirteen, Dolphins to a number underdog. Josh, Hey,
I love that dogs hit all right, and Russell Wilson

(02:09:16):
just got hit again throwing the ball?

Speaker 1 (02:09:18):
Is that a fumble or a pass? Got a game over?

Speaker 2 (02:09:22):
So that was great Russell Wilson play at the end
of that game.

Speaker 3 (02:09:27):
Wow, here's the guy that people thoughts still have well,
still know he's done done, I said, in three years.

Speaker 2 (02:09:33):
Does anybody think that Russell Wilson is actually a Hall
of Famer. No, No zero first team All Pros, zero teams,
second team All Pros, won a Super Bowl, had a
horrific loss in another Super Bowl. People't talk about Pro Bowls.
Forget the stupid Pro Bowls. Can I say this? I
can't say this any louder. Pro Bowls are a mockery.

(02:09:55):
Understand that when you make a Pro Bowl, half the
time you're making it as an alternate that's not even
a Pro bowl. Pro Bowls usually happened to players a
year late and a layer early. Okay, So do not
use Pro Bowls as a barometer on whether or not
somebody is a Hall of Fame candidate. The only thing
you can use is all Pro, all Pro.

Speaker 1 (02:10:17):
There's a big difference.

Speaker 2 (02:10:18):
I think I want to go back to the point
that was being made on the lines and this whole division.
I remember when I think green Bay is the better team.

Speaker 1 (02:10:25):
They beat them head to head, green Bay. Can I
just interject this one thing about green Bay.

Speaker 2 (02:10:29):
Of all the teams that are there in the mix
right now, I have zero read on the green Bay Packers.

Speaker 1 (02:10:36):
Zero. I have a good read on that they are
to me.

Speaker 2 (02:10:38):
A team that I have just no read on this year.
I have a good read on all the hype about
Micah Parsons and everything I have known.

Speaker 1 (02:10:47):
The question mark to me is the receiving group.

Speaker 3 (02:10:49):
But when you look at this Detroit team, and we
saw this last week for people talking about the Vikings,
they went and beat them last week. JJ McCarthy and
the Vikings beat them head to head last week. So
there's another the divisional loss.

Speaker 2 (02:11:01):
But they have But I need to put an ap
be out on Jamier Gibbs, who's only.

Speaker 3 (02:11:05):
Average is sixty. I had more carries than Montgomery. I thought,
must watch guy a game, and it's just it's not
it's not materializing. And then their losses the Pittsburgh, Minnesota
and Casey and they've been in Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Cincinnati
with no Joe Burrow, the Bears in Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (02:11:22):
With no Pittsburgh. I'm sorry, not Pittspered.

Speaker 2 (02:11:25):
I'm sorry not pitspared Baltimore or Cleveland, Tampa, Bensinse and
the Bears. All right, we got two games right now,
one score games that are very much still in play.
So the Texans right now, down twenty nine to twenty four,
are at the Jacksonville twenty eight yard line with two
and a half minutes to go. But by the way,
Seattle draws first blood. Sam darnelld to Jigma forty three

(02:11:47):
yard touchdown. We don't have the best receiver. Can we
make that call right now? Or is it too soon?
Too soon?

Speaker 1 (02:11:52):
But he's in the mix. Okay, he's in the mix. Goodness,
Chris kid Man.

Speaker 2 (02:11:56):
But right now, Sam Donold's on fire, four for four
sixty yards in the sky. Then to throw the ball
to uh, you got to give him credit. Still got
to get the ball, Jefferson last year pass Texans. Right now,
you just hate the Sam No, I.

Speaker 1 (02:12:10):
Just don't like it. We're going to say that about
other quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (02:12:14):
Everybody saying that that is not right now. Sam Darnell
is in the mix because his team is six and two,
right and he's throwing the ball accurately and they're playing
good football. Football quarterback, Well, he's the quarterback both, all right,
all right, right. JJ McCarthy is running. He's trying to
do a one hundred yard run. He got to the

(02:12:35):
thirty five yard line. There's a minute and a half
to go. JJ McCarthy trying to work his fourth quarter. Magic,
it's an eight point game, which, by the way.

Speaker 15 (02:12:42):
He didn't need to be they failed a two point
conversion after their last touchdown.

Speaker 1 (02:12:46):
I didn't need to and they didn't need to take
the two point guards.

Speaker 3 (02:12:48):
He goes take it, I said no, because then, because
then if you get the ball back now, you have
to get it the second time, right, you always take.

Speaker 1 (02:12:56):
Your cant That was first game over two hundred yards passing.

Speaker 2 (02:13:00):
All right, so a minute to go. Unfortunately, you throw
the ball in the middle of the field with no timeouts.
The clocks is gonna run and run and run, all right,
So they're trying to at least get to midfield right now. Meanwhile,
the Texans have a second to three at the Jacksonville
thirty one yard line.

Speaker 1 (02:13:13):
We just hit the two minute warning.

Speaker 2 (02:13:15):
There, mccarthury throws down the field incomplete. At the very
least that will stop the clock. So we're gonna have
a third and six right now. For the Vikings, they're
at their own thirty eight yard line fifty forty seven
seconds left in the fourth core of that game. But
the Texans with Davis Mills, I mean, this is such

(02:13:35):
a huge game for the Texans and they are in
a position where they can WINZ.

Speaker 3 (02:13:40):
Shame Jacksonville, Shame ol Jacksonville, Shame old Jacksonville for letting
this guy get his team back into the game.

Speaker 1 (02:13:46):
They should have put this game away. Shame on Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (02:13:48):
Well again, Trevor Lawrence has had a pedestrian day to
say the least. And honestly, statistically speaking, the Texans have
more than twice as many total yards in this game
as does Jacksonville. So there was a couple of big
plays early in this game that gave Jacksonville the lead.
But now the Texans trying to come back again twenty
nine to twenty four, Jacksonville leading the Texans sty two minutes.

Speaker 3 (02:14:12):
Liming too to make this to make this third down
even just tougher for the Vikens offense, another false star.

Speaker 1 (02:14:17):
I don't get fault anyway.

Speaker 2 (02:14:19):
Well, again, you're not picking up the cadence of your
quarterback usually, all right, So we're gonna have a fourth
down play as McCarthy scrambles short and again there's no
timeouts for Minnesota, so the clock is just running, running, running.
We're down to thirty seconds to go, and the receivers
who are way.

Speaker 1 (02:14:37):
Down the field high. They're tired.

Speaker 2 (02:14:40):
Okay, sure we go fourth and fourth for the Vikings.
Really last chance here, and there is.

Speaker 1 (02:14:45):
A Baltimore came out.

Speaker 2 (02:14:48):
The Ravens called a timeout. Wow, okay, why would you
do that? I have no idea? All right, So now
let's get back to this other game. We're at the
two minute warning and now the Texans have the ball
again and we got to pass over the middle that
is fortunately not intercepted.

Speaker 1 (02:15:08):
Should have been?

Speaker 2 (02:15:09):
Should have been. You always gotta be careful throwing the
ball down the middle of the field. Great, that's a
great play. Yeah, great, that's a great play by that linebacker.
Perfectly played. Yeah, absolutely, no matter the.

Speaker 1 (02:15:24):
Arm around, as long as you don't turn him the arm.

Speaker 2 (02:15:27):
He's playing the ball right, playing the ball.

Speaker 3 (02:15:29):
But you're allowed to have your arm your hand on it.
But you can't learning the ball right.

Speaker 1 (02:15:34):
What are you complaining about all the time? Guys? Not
turning around.

Speaker 3 (02:15:36):
And finding the ball drives me, and like tackling drives
you insane defenders that don't turn and find.

Speaker 1 (02:15:43):
The ball all right around around.

Speaker 2 (02:15:48):
He's like, the heck with it, We're going to go
for a fourth down, right, he's gonna throw and is incomplete.

Speaker 1 (02:15:55):
Jones dropped that. No enough to get that. The Jones
dropper will say it would.

Speaker 2 (02:16:00):
Have been a miraculous catch, but that is it.

Speaker 1 (02:16:03):
So uh.

Speaker 2 (02:16:04):
The Baltimore Ravens getting an big, absolute must win, they
will go to four and five. The Vikings drop to
four and five as the Ravens get.

Speaker 1 (02:16:13):
The winner on the road against the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (02:16:14):
All right, let's just keep it here right now in
the Texans as they try to pull this game out.

Speaker 1 (02:16:18):
That is that is that's inter interesting.

Speaker 2 (02:16:24):
The ball hit the Jacksonville defender in the helmet. The
ball was underthrown. This is a classic way always to
pick up passing inference.

Speaker 1 (02:16:33):
What do you do? You underthrow the play?

Speaker 2 (02:16:36):
And now all of a sudden we got the officials
conferring on this call that would give the ball to
This is a weird play.

Speaker 1 (02:16:45):
How is this the ball hitting Well, he's grabbing them,
he's not tall, but.

Speaker 2 (02:16:50):
He turned his head, he's looking at the ball and
he knocks the ball away. Was it didn't help thembody
knocked the ball away.

Speaker 3 (02:16:58):
He's calling passing affairs down. Wow, by the way, that
ball did hit Aaron Jones in the hands. I wanted
to make sure we saw that replay. Yeah, he dropped
the ball. I don't know he's grabbing it.

Speaker 1 (02:17:09):
Hit him in hands. He dropped the ball. That's the point.
He dropped the ball.

Speaker 2 (02:17:13):
That is I don't like this passing it all against
me Jacksonville. He had his head turned. Yeah, he has
his hand on the receiver, but he's not yanking the receiver.
He's just trying to keep it tabs of where he is.
So that is the Texans. Texans the ball of the
two yard line of Jacksonville. What a miraculous comeback this
would be. It was twenty nine to ten Jacksonville, and

(02:17:37):
there's a but that flag is going to be on
it if they let the play goats on the defensive line.

Speaker 3 (02:17:41):
Now, if they stopped it, we can't hear it. If
they blew the whistles, stop the play. Well on the
All Star, like I said, it's on the offense. Okay,
Well we can't hear if the whistle blew, we just
see the flag. If the flag and they let the
play go, that means the off the defense was encroachment
and lined up all sides.

Speaker 1 (02:17:56):
Wow, false starts.

Speaker 3 (02:17:58):
This kills me with offensive lin Why are you moving
you notice, Oh god, oh wow, that's kind of.

Speaker 1 (02:18:04):
You know what happened.

Speaker 3 (02:18:05):
They started letting those guys take that extra little half
of step to tackles and now it's filtering through the
offensive line of.

Speaker 1 (02:18:11):
How they call false start.

Speaker 2 (02:18:14):
Well again, if you're gonna allow your tackles to literally
line up in the backfield, they're not even on the
line of scrimmling.

Speaker 1 (02:18:23):
And they give them like a half a seconds a game,
your advantaity.

Speaker 2 (02:18:26):
Get these guys goin to hold the entire game, and
that run is going absolutely nowhere.

Speaker 1 (02:18:32):
That's a bad play call.

Speaker 2 (02:18:34):
The Texans have one time out remaining. That was a
first and goal play. Uh, but now we're gonna have
second and goal minute to go and the clock is running,
so the Texans will let the clock run, which is
the smart thing to do. Again, this was twenty nine
to ten going into the fourth quarter. Jacksonville hey Man
and the Texans trying to come up with a twenty

(02:18:55):
one zip fourth quarter to pull this game out and
get back into of the season. They came in with
a record of three and five all right, second and
goal clock running forty two forty one for the Texans
and another false start.

Speaker 1 (02:19:08):
God Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:19:10):
Yeah, see this and it's the same and it's the
same guy. Get your head out of you no where,
young man.

Speaker 9 (02:19:16):
I think.

Speaker 2 (02:19:19):
You have a backup quarterback in the game, Mills different cadence.

Speaker 1 (02:19:23):
He's not picking up on it.

Speaker 2 (02:19:24):
For whatever reason, you've been in the game here in
this guy's cadence all.

Speaker 3 (02:19:28):
You've been in practice with them all week. We knew
all week CJ. Stroud went in playing. That's an excuse.
That's an excuse that I can't ride with. I'm sorry,
I'm turning. I'm turned to a coach right now. I
couldn't hear a player come to the sideline and tell
me that there's no way I would go for that.

Speaker 4 (02:19:42):
Bo.

Speaker 2 (02:19:42):
We gotta keep the game here, man, it's hard to
give up on this game. I'm not throwing it yet.
You're gonna keep it. Texas win the score?

Speaker 9 (02:19:51):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 1 (02:19:52):
I think so.

Speaker 9 (02:19:52):
You can't get this close and not score.

Speaker 1 (02:19:54):
I don't know jack back at all.

Speaker 2 (02:19:58):
I know they had the ball the two yard and
now they're outside of the ten yard line, so honestly.

Speaker 3 (02:20:03):
Helps, it gives them more room to operate. I'm almost
the guy. I'll take a fenalty inside the ten it
backs you up. It gives you more room to work with,
especially with a backup quilt. But that means you're throwing
the ball the run game. When you have first and
goal the two you can run the ball now when
you're at the where are they now? They tried to
do that, and guess what happened. The guard move. Then
they tried to run it again. Guess what happened. The

(02:20:25):
guard moved again.

Speaker 2 (02:20:26):
So they're back to the fourteen yard line. I gotta
throw forty one second and goal at the fourteen yard line.
Forty one seconds. The Texans still have a time out remaining.
And let's see what David.

Speaker 1 (02:20:36):
Here's the thing here.

Speaker 3 (02:20:37):
You still have time to work any part of the
field because you have a timeout and you can go
kill the ball.

Speaker 1 (02:20:41):
So work all the field. Don't just throw to the sideline.

Speaker 2 (02:20:44):
Here, all right, Mills going in the end zone and
it is incomplete, holding your breath and he calls, no flash.

Speaker 1 (02:20:51):
That's terrible throat. It was in the dirt. It was
not catchable.

Speaker 2 (02:20:54):
Third in goal now for the Texans at the fourteen
yard line. So all this big comeback and now this pass,
just wait this play.

Speaker 15 (02:21:01):
He's going to draw a flag right on the goal line,
just where they want it.

Speaker 1 (02:21:05):
You know what, I'll tell you it is that wasp.

Speaker 3 (02:21:07):
I'm about to say that dB I offense that PTE
that dB was there, Well he was going.

Speaker 1 (02:21:14):
I mean, you can't go through the receiver to do that. Yeah,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (02:21:17):
Sometimes those are bang bang plays. It depends on where
the official scanning. If he actually sees that. All right,
third in goal now from the fourteen yard line, thirty
seven seconds left, Mills is going to be scramble that
zone touchdown Jackson's Davis Mills quarterback? All right?

Speaker 1 (02:21:43):
Why is he putting up the two fingers? That goal
won't matter?

Speaker 2 (02:21:46):
This is end zone radio motion to the right. On
second and eight from the seventeen, catabillimes under center drags
another Titan smike in motion. Here's the snap of the playfake.

Speaker 16 (02:21:55):
Williams rolling to his left running now fifteen to ten
five hold zone tiptoes in touchdown in the blue cake.

Speaker 1 (02:22:04):
Tayleb Williams seventeen yards.

Speaker 2 (02:22:08):
Took care of business himself.

Speaker 1 (02:22:10):
He has had himself quite.

Speaker 16 (02:22:11):
The day, running all over in between away from picking up,
moving left, moving right, and finally getting into the ends
over the touchdown head a Bears lead twenty three twenty.

Speaker 2 (02:22:23):
That's the Bears radio netwhere they come from behind the
defeat the Giants twenty four to twenty.

Speaker 6 (02:22:29):
Meanwhile, Jacksonville had one last chance and Trevor Lawrence got hit,
the ball popped up, pick six, pick six and the
cover for the Texans, and the cover and the Texans
after being down twenty nine to ten going into the
final quarter, outscore the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 2 (02:22:56):
Let me do the math, twenty six nothing. Are they
gonna kick the extra point?

Speaker 7 (02:23:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:23:00):
They know.

Speaker 3 (02:23:01):
I think the game is. I don't think they kick
the actual point. All I know is that's another underdog.

Speaker 1 (02:23:05):
How do they not kick an extra point?

Speaker 2 (02:23:06):
There?

Speaker 1 (02:23:06):
I don't get it. No time left on the clock.

Speaker 2 (02:23:08):
They just got to ask though, wow, if it was,
if it was, And listen, here's the thing too, Who
I did this over under thirty seven and a half.

Speaker 1 (02:23:16):
How many suckers did they bring in with the underrep
look at this score?

Speaker 2 (02:23:19):
Yeah, or so, officially it was not an inner, It
was not a pick six. It was a fumble recovery
is what they're calling it? For a touchdown?

Speaker 1 (02:23:30):
Oh that's kind of weird being at his arm was
going forward when he got hit it. That's what they're
calling it. I know that's crazy though, that's an interception
either way.

Speaker 2 (02:23:36):
They basically say.

Speaker 1 (02:23:37):
Here's what they say.

Speaker 2 (02:23:38):
They say he was sacked and the ball was knocked
away on the sack.

Speaker 1 (02:23:42):
Whatever, Well he was What kind of mine is?

Speaker 2 (02:23:44):
Jacksonville just blew a twenty nine to ten fourth quarter
lead and the Texans get a must win.

Speaker 15 (02:23:51):
I got to ask, is like, I still have that
indelible mark of Monday Night of Trevor Lawrence doing the
insane touchdown to win it, and yet that feels like
a million miles away, and I feel like we've kind
of run out of landing strip and the book is fully.

Speaker 1 (02:24:05):
On tray to wards.

Speaker 15 (02:24:06):
Oh, I agree, Like that was That's like bo and
I were talking about here. You had probably room for
another out route there and you were still in cam
Little's range and you just non everything there.

Speaker 1 (02:24:16):
This was a disaster.

Speaker 2 (02:24:17):
You have a nineteen point late in the fourth quarter
of an NFL game.

Speaker 1 (02:24:20):
Und deserved it? You don't, You don't deserve to work.

Speaker 2 (02:24:22):
There are no excuses for losing a game like that
for Jacksonville. So they follow to five and four and
the Texans get to four and five.

Speaker 3 (02:24:29):
All right, what did I say to when we start
talking about it, Shame on him, Shame on him if
they lose this game. Once we saw the comeback, shame
on you for losing this game.

Speaker 2 (02:24:36):
Let's find out what it's trending right now as we
welcome back. Man. See, uh, that was nuts.

Speaker 1 (02:24:41):
That was obsolutely Wow.

Speaker 10 (02:24:42):
That was nuts.

Speaker 1 (02:24:43):
That was again one week.

Speaker 2 (02:24:45):
Every week we have a game that like it's over
all right, twenty nine to ten, fourth quarter, not the
Texans day, backup quarterback, everything else outscore them twenty six
zip in the fourth court.

Speaker 10 (02:24:54):
No, No, that was real bad.

Speaker 11 (02:24:55):
And you know I was walking back into the studio
here and I said to Dan, I was like, I
just don't try rust Trevor Lawrence. And Dann Byer's like, oh,
you know he's only got to get like twenty yards
because they have cam little to kick.

Speaker 2 (02:25:05):
Yeah, he had sixty eight yards bials also the resular
week ago.

Speaker 10 (02:25:08):
But I just don't trust Trevor defense when you need.

Speaker 11 (02:25:12):
To, you know what I mean, Like Texas, I can't
believe it pull it off thirty.

Speaker 10 (02:25:16):
Six to twenty nine. Davis Mills at the end there
what did you say? The best quarterback bes quarterback back cover.

Speaker 2 (02:25:24):
He set up in the gay I'm very proud of
in the galaxy he's got in the galaxy for the galaxy.
He made a great one again.

Speaker 1 (02:25:30):
The solar system.

Speaker 2 (02:25:30):
He made a great run for that touchdown. Man, that
was a hell of a run.

Speaker 11 (02:25:34):
No, it was.

Speaker 10 (02:25:35):
He kept them alive. Absolutely.

Speaker 11 (02:25:36):
He ended twenty seven and forty five or two hundred
and ninety two years, two touchdowns.

Speaker 7 (02:25:42):
All right.

Speaker 10 (02:25:43):
What else happened today?

Speaker 11 (02:25:44):
Well, Dolphins crushed the Bills thirty to thirteen was the
final scores. Von a Chan put on a show twenty
two carries, one hundred and seventy four yards and two
touchdowns in the win. Josh Allen was twenty eight to
forty three hundred and sixty yards, two touchdowns, an interception
in the end zone and he lost to fumble. The
Patriots improved to eight and two, outscoring the Buccaneers in

(02:26:04):
Tampa twenty eight to twenty three. New England running back
Trayvon Henderson had fourteen carries, one hundred and forty seven
yards and two touchdowns. The Bears are now six and
three after topping the Giants twenty four to twenty Jackson
dart He threw for two hundred and forty two yards.
He also had sixty six yards and two touchdowns on
the ground. Left in the fourth quarter with a concussion.
Ravens improved to four and five with a twenty seven

(02:26:25):
to nineteen win over the Vikings. Lamar Jackson seventeen of
twenty nine, one hundred and seventy six yards and a touchdown.
This Saints beat the Panthers seventeen to seven. Chris Slave
five catches, one hundred and four yards and a touchdown.
Thank you very much for my fantasy team. Jets defeated
the Browns twenty seven to twenty and earlier in the
day in Berlin, the Colts defeated the Falcons in overtime
thirty one to twenty five.

Speaker 10 (02:26:47):
Jonathan Taylor with his.

Speaker 11 (02:26:48):
Own show thirty two carries, two hundred and forty four
yards and three touchdowns, sixty six rushing touchdowns, which is
the most in franchised history.

Speaker 10 (02:26:57):
And last thing I'll tell you, I'm wondering.

Speaker 11 (02:26:58):
How Bo feels about this because you guys saw that
USC play against Northwestern where the punter Aha came out and.

Speaker 10 (02:27:06):
Correct, but it was a quarterback also wearing the same number. Apparently.

Speaker 11 (02:27:09):
Well, the Big Ten in a statement said that it
should have been a penalty as two players were playing
the same position and that they cannot wear the same number.

Speaker 10 (02:27:18):
But they're not playing the same position.

Speaker 1 (02:27:19):
That was because.

Speaker 2 (02:27:22):
He was lined up as it was like they had
two guys lined up as a punter, right, but.

Speaker 10 (02:27:26):
They're not the same and they did everything legally. I'm
just wondering, Mike.

Speaker 1 (02:27:31):
No shame on you for not paying attention that that's
not the same eighty. That's my take on.

Speaker 2 (02:27:35):
Obviously, due Beleagon numbers are very common in college football.
We see that all the time or offense and defense.
Like the year Manti Tao was at Notre Dame, he
was number five, the quarterback was number five.

Speaker 1 (02:27:45):
They had the exact same number that year. Much to
do about nothing, it really.

Speaker 9 (02:27:49):
Is the big logic. Does that mean that the wildcat
is illegal because they have a running back lining up
at quarterback?

Speaker 1 (02:27:55):
Well, if they were wearing the same number, that's what's
the question.

Speaker 15 (02:27:58):
And I'm going to imagine number eight quarterback looks very
little like number eighty punter in both physical.

Speaker 1 (02:28:04):
You can't where to say number on the same side
of the ball was the rule.

Speaker 2 (02:28:08):
I thought that was the rules quarterback, though I'm still
worry number eighty.

Speaker 1 (02:28:13):
That's what gets to be right.

Speaker 10 (02:28:15):
I pay attention to the details.

Speaker 2 (02:28:16):
I know all right, Monzi, thank you very much, great stuff.
It's always absolutely crazy day. Once again we're in the
Fox Sports Radio studios. Don't forget after the show the
podcast is going up. So if you miss any of
today's show, check out the podcast. Just search Fox Sports
Radio wherever we gets your podcast, follow or review the podcast.
Rate at five stars. Again, just search Fox Sports Radio

(02:28:36):
wherever we gets your podcasts. You'll see today's show posted
right after we get off the air. So the Rams
opening drive right down the field, touchdown Kyron Williams a
little short two yard run. So the Rams take the
early seven to nothing lead on the forty nine Ers,
and the Lions right now on UH are on the
Washington fourteen yard line. So we'll see how that they've scored.

(02:29:00):
And the Lions have just scored. So the Alliance taken
the early lead there. So road teams Rams at the
forty nine ers, Lions at the Commanders, taking early leads
here in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are look
like they're ready to pile it on. Sam Darnold is
seven for seven for ninety five yards and Jake by
the way, he has four catches for eighty two yards already.

(02:29:22):
This is all first quarter action as the Seahawks are
all over the Cardinals fourteen. Nothing ready to add to
that lead.

Speaker 1 (02:29:30):
You know why some of this Colin Murray talk could
be seen as a little foolish. We get into it.

Speaker 3 (02:29:35):
I mentioned this about Cooper Rush, right, Remember that goes down,
Cooper Rush comes in when he goes four to one
or something like that, right, and you really have people say, look,
look what Cooper Rush can do. They should they should try.

Speaker 1 (02:29:48):
It happens all the time.

Speaker 2 (02:29:50):
Who's the most popular guy in the field, the backup
back when they started.

Speaker 1 (02:29:55):
And I just feel like.

Speaker 3 (02:29:58):
What we've seen, like Jakobe Brissaid has shown us enough
in Miami and Cleveland and Baltimore. I mean, he's been around,
We've seen enough. Yes, you'll get a flash here and there,
but to say that now we're going to move forward
with this guy as the leader of our franchise and
our starting quarterback when you still have a.

Speaker 2 (02:30:19):
Talent like this, I just well again, the reason today show,
the reason even talking about this is ganning. Their coach
refused to say. Look, all he had to say was
when Kyler is ready, he is our starting.

Speaker 1 (02:30:34):
Why do you think you've been around a long time?
Why did he not say?

Speaker 2 (02:30:38):
Did he not say because he's that The reason he
didn't say it is because he doesn't think.

Speaker 1 (02:30:43):
He doesn't think guy, he didn't think I was this guy.

Speaker 9 (02:30:45):
Guys, I'm just asking. I'm sorry, I hate, I hate
to change the subject. We have an interesting little wrinkle
happening in Washington today. If you guys are reporting, tweeting
saying that Dan Campbell is taking over offensive play calling duties.

Speaker 1 (02:30:59):
So he's got a Pola sheet right now and he's
got the reading glasses.

Speaker 2 (02:31:02):
On offensive coordinator in Detroit.

Speaker 15 (02:31:06):
So it's probably still Johnny Morton, but it's a matter
of the play calling. I mean, they looked a lot
more efficient on that one right now.

Speaker 1 (02:31:12):
So, m well, that's did Ben Johnson call all the plays?

Speaker 7 (02:31:18):
Uh?

Speaker 15 (02:31:18):
When he was the offensive quarter Yes, I think last
time Dan Campbell's called plays before, But that was kind
of in those years where that like starting out year
where they were like still moving on from Anthony Lynn.
So he's done it before, but it's just kind of
like not something he's really taken.

Speaker 1 (02:31:32):
Up a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:31:32):
Well, again, you're playing. The Commanders are not a good team, folks,
They're just not. I mean, we're gonna look back last
year gets it all.

Speaker 9 (02:31:40):
So yeah, yeah, I mean if anybody picked them on their.

Speaker 1 (02:31:46):
No, nobody did well to.

Speaker 2 (02:31:47):
Like not, I mean they were they were one of
the more predictable coming down.

Speaker 1 (02:31:51):
We can't.

Speaker 3 (02:31:51):
We kept asking about the Commanders. We all had questions
about the Commanders as far as what they could be
and what the fall back, like what quarterback was going
to take that sophomore slump? Right, Like, I don't know
if Jadon dais have a sophomorees long. He's just getting
banged up. Yeah, he's just getting getting hurt. But he
also wasn't playing as well as let me.

Speaker 1 (02:32:13):
Not playing as well as last year. But a lot
of these guys aren't. But again that's.

Speaker 9 (02:32:24):
Coming.

Speaker 1 (02:32:24):
It's not playing. I don't want a second. It's not playing.

Speaker 2 (02:32:27):
Say, defensive coordinators, they do their homework, folks. They're paid
a lot of money film in the nfilm room, and
they will find your weakness and then they.

Speaker 3 (02:32:35):
All take up, and we talked about the McLaurin hold
out also to that stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:32:40):
It bothers the team guys, It just does.

Speaker 3 (02:32:43):
We've had enough evidence to know that when you start
in the off season that way, sooner or later it
just seems into the year.

Speaker 1 (02:32:52):
Now you got McLaurin out. Every guys.

Speaker 2 (02:32:55):
Every year we have two or three teams that come
a score nowhere and then you're like wow, yeah, and
then then they disappear as quickly as they appeared.

Speaker 1 (02:33:05):
I mean like we didn't see Listen Man. No one
saw the Patriots and the Colts coming.

Speaker 9 (02:33:09):
But this is where we I think I think too,
like there might be something to the pre draft process
where you get a list of guys and where they
should go. Because right now, Caleb Williams and Drake may
were one A and one B depending on your preferences,
and it was Jaden Daniels. Then it was an assortment
of the other three guys that went in the first round.
And that's what it looks like right now as we
sit here today.

Speaker 1 (02:33:29):
But at the end of last year, it was Jane Daniels.
Still last year.

Speaker 2 (02:33:36):
And not only everyone was was we were talking about
who are the five best quarterbacks. There were people that
would put Jaden Daniels based on his rookie season in
that conversation.

Speaker 1 (02:33:46):
When you hear what we did our top ten quarterbacks
were you were?

Speaker 7 (02:33:49):
You?

Speaker 1 (02:33:49):
Were you here? Did we still have I? Probably I
would have had the thing it, so did a lot
of other people.

Speaker 3 (02:33:56):
But Carrie carry Rose walks in because him and I
are going that and about having a rookie in your time.
I didn't have him in my top ten because I
couldn't do that off of just one year. But the
consensus was for most people, because we did this with
CJ the year before, after his rookie year, people had
him a consistus top ten quarterback. You just can't do

(02:34:18):
that awful win just because just like you can't write
a kid off off of one year.

Speaker 2 (02:34:21):
Watch, you can't make him a top ten guy. I
can do it off one quarter Sam Donald MVP. There
it is Sam Donald twenty one nothing, Seahawks, your order
lead over the Arizona Cardinals. Keep it here. This is
end zone Radio.

Speaker 13 (02:34:40):
There's the snap that Jared who wants to throw looking
throwing middle cart inside the five shot there gets to
the end zone touchdown. Detroit lyons fourteen yards on the
strike off to kids, you.

Speaker 1 (02:34:53):
Can't cover that man one on one.

Speaker 2 (02:34:55):
You just can't do it. Ninety seven one that take
a Lions radio network. Chris had to get that Lion's
highlight in and he did. Almost went to the Seahawks,
but if there's no bow in the studio. The Commanders
did get a field goal. So it is now seven
to three. Lions lead the Commanders five and a half
minutes to go in the first quarter. There Rams lead

(02:35:15):
the forty nine Ers seven nothing and against Seahawks annihilating
the Cardinals twenty one zip just heading to the second
quarter in that game, I want to thank our crew
today again. No filters anywhere. No, I'm sorry to Monsey
to not ask her that question time.

Speaker 10 (02:35:32):
I'm excise. You guys a hard time.

Speaker 2 (02:35:33):
I know that you're working on your five you know,
fantasy football teams on.

Speaker 10 (02:35:38):
Top of it all the you know it's true. It's true.
Four four because I got eliminated from the key. No,
it's fine, it's fine.

Speaker 1 (02:35:44):
Great job. It's always Moncey.

Speaker 2 (02:35:46):
Chris could have you back. This week, he spent some
time down at Del mar I was and it was
a very productive of the Breeders Cup. Profitable day for me.
I'll always good to walk away from the track with
money in your pocket.

Speaker 1 (02:35:58):
Especially for the big race. When I get the super
effecta that is I saw the ticket. Congratulations. I'm keeping
that one frame.

Speaker 2 (02:36:04):
And Bo is just reveling in everything these days. I mean,
the Dodgers won the World Series. Rams are off to
a good start today, Caleb Williams brought the Bears back.
Is there any negative right now in the sports world
of I mean.

Speaker 9 (02:36:18):
The Lakers lost a very winnable game. All the time
you come on.

Speaker 1 (02:36:22):
But honestly, they have no Austin reas. You can't play one.

Speaker 9 (02:36:26):
That's that's balanced out by the unk squad across town. Yes, yes,
face planning nightly.

Speaker 1 (02:36:32):
Yeah. Okay, very very good.

Speaker 2 (02:36:34):
All right, guys, let's uh b jay, Let's talk a
little bit about what's coming up here a little bit later.

Speaker 1 (02:36:40):
Chargers Steelers tonight. Uh your feelings on this game?

Speaker 2 (02:36:44):
I want to go hardcore Chargers here. The two tackles
being out is just huge. But you know, I mean,
I don't waver Man.

Speaker 3 (02:36:50):
I'm gonna stick with what I feel about this team,
especially their defense and the way they can run the football.
They're going to pound the football tenth in the league
and Russian offense. Then they're gonna run the football. They're
a hardball team, they're tough. Derwin James is just playing
out of his mind. He's taking up for some of
the injuries that they've had on the defensive side of
the ball, including a guy like Khalil Mack who could
probably be seeing his you know, his his last days
in the league coming. And the Steelers they just they're

(02:37:12):
not super impressive than me. They've had some so they've
had some good wins. I just I just think on
the road National TV, justin Herbert make a play here there.
You have your receivers, you got some guys back, and
the defensive side of the ball, the Steelers aren't blowing
teams away. They're not putting up thirty points a game,
so the defense holds him down. Have Aaron Rodgers make
a few air throws. You know, DK getting his.

Speaker 1 (02:37:31):
Head a little bit. This is they know DK.

Speaker 3 (02:37:33):
DK would played with the Seahaws. They've been down here enough,
so very familiar opponent there. But uh, I had the
charges covering, so I'll just see where it goes. I'll
take the charge of the cover to nine.

Speaker 2 (02:37:41):
Chargers are undefeated in the night games this year, so
this has been their play, so they should win the game.
But again, when you're out your top two offensive tackles,
so this is not Tennessee, this is Pittsburgh. Is a
much better opponent than the Titans were a week ago,
and they struggled against the Titans.

Speaker 3 (02:37:59):
So also, you notice Steelers saw that the Ravens won today.
We mentioned that last week, right, the Ravens one Thursday night,
Steelers get their you know what hand told by the
Packers when they come out and then beat the Colts,
and I said, hey, they see what's going on. So
it could be one of those things. Also too, is
you're pu.

Speaker 9 (02:38:17):
By the way scored and then DeMarcus Lawrence has his
second fumble return for a touchdown already today. Wow, Seattle, Wow,
look at that?

Speaker 2 (02:38:24):
Uh pooko Akua.

Speaker 1 (02:38:25):
Is it twenty eighth to nothing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's
twenty eight nothing.

Speaker 2 (02:38:28):
But just started I just I just said to them,
you you just talking about they're gonna put up and
said they by halftime and they're well on their way.

Speaker 1 (02:38:39):
Pooko Akua, by.

Speaker 2 (02:38:40):
The way, what is what a talent well, fine, you
talk about a team that is drafted insanely well over
the last few years, that would be the Los Angeles Rams.
They have picked up so many quality players in.

Speaker 1 (02:38:52):
The drafting players, drafting the right players and developing them.

Speaker 2 (02:38:57):
Wow, that's what you pay those guys to find. And
then I found them, all right, So yeah, I think
that that's a coin toss game to me because of
the absence of two offensive tackles. And then we have
Tomorrow night. So I mean you, like I said, you know,
Packers hosting the Eagles. You say you believe in this
Packers team. I say, I have no read on this

(02:39:17):
Packers team. You know, Green Bay is a slight favorite
at home, and man, I I mean, I just me
until somebody proves me wrong. I still have the Eagles
on top. I'd say to me, the Eagles are a
better team than the Packers. Yeah, I picked the Eagles
to win this game.

Speaker 3 (02:39:34):
But all this game Tomorrow night does is give people
don't believe in the Packers more reason to say, or
if the Eagles lose, people don't believe in the Eagles
given more reason to say. It's almost a lose lose.
As far as sports talk, goes. I think we're in
for a really good game. The Packers do have a
really good defense, and the Eagles are just listen. Like
I said, I would love to see their category numbers
be higher.

Speaker 1 (02:39:54):
The twenty fourth ring offense. I believe in a seventeenth
ring defense. But they're tenth.

Speaker 2 (02:39:59):
They're tenth in points, which means they score points. And
the Saquon is alive and the Saquon has finally gotten
it going. Now, I just you know, I just say,
look out. Maybe the guy not sandbagging. But you know,
last year was a lot of work man, and then
you get all the way to Super Bowl and you
win it all. Maybe it takes a little bit to
come back the following year. Maybe it's starting those wheels
are starting to turn. I like the Eagles to win

(02:40:19):
this game, but I think it's a competitive game. I
don't think they go in there and just beat that
living hell out him. Well, I mean, you bring up
Saquon and again he had a big game last week.
You know, started to look like a Sakon at twenty
twenty four. But they got a build on that. Right,
that's the whole thing. I mean, Okay, okay, yeah, no, right,
he's still alive. He's still back out there.

Speaker 7 (02:40:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:40:37):
Going into they gave me had the lowest yards per
carry average of any back with over a certain amount.

Speaker 1 (02:40:41):
Of carries or just throw to your receivers. Yeah, exactly.
I got a couple of goes.

Speaker 2 (02:40:45):
We got a lot more coming up there in Fox
Sports Radio, Dan Byer Kerry Roads there on deck to
bring you the rest away on a big day in
the NFL. For all the NFL news you need, We've
got it right here. This is Fox Sports, a radio
