opinions on that one. I was suckered again into watching
the fight, which, by the way, you know it is
what it is. We'll get into it but yeah, and
obviously we're going to talk round ball, because when it's
round ball we're talking, then you got to bring in
the best. And when you bring in the best fellas well,

(01:31):
you hear this and then the best pears.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Now it's time to check in with Cuffs.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
The legend from some Dude show podcast on up on
Game Presents, Cuffs is giving you a spicy takes on
what's going down.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
To pick the heat like Lebron And now here's Cuff's
the legend. It's cold time.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Legend.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well, obviously, you can't have spicy tastes unless you add
a little bit of Louisiana hot sauce to it. That's right,
make sure you add some original Louisiana hot sauce. It's
perfect balance of peppery peppers, vinegar and so added to
your wings, you're nacho, your Burger's hit all your tailgate
foods with that. And in fact, well since we're gonna
be talking round ball pretty soon here as well, make

(02:20):
sure you do it with your basketball eats before the
games as well. That's original Louisiana hot sauce. Louisiana hot
bayous some Cuffs, what's happening? Player how you feeling, broh,
how's everything going with you? Man?

Speaker 6 (02:33):
Well, you know, you know fellas, you know, happy Saturday. Man,
it's like forty degrees here. It's hoodie season. It's miserable
weather right now in the Carolinas. I'm feeling like Macico
birds right now. The East Coast vibes, it's miserable. It's
like seasonal depression weather. You just want to go. I
just I just need to go to Jamaica somewhere.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Man.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
I feel like I just need to get on the
flight real soon. Me and my lovely lady, my wife,
you know, well, we just need to go. No kids,
adult only resort in this vibe. Other than that. Man,
the NBA Cup the other night, so the nick. You know,
I got college football buffet on TV. I'm a happy
man right now. Man.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You know, got happy and cod you got you got
the Bluechoo mentality going on right now.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
Yeah, it's killing the rest of the day.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Man.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Oh, I want to say this.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I wanted to.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Say this before we get started, before we get started,
but I want to say this. I just want to
say this, So all the all the millions of listeners
out there, I got some some dude stats for you today.
The LA Lakers are eight and two since Lebron James
has returned to the lineup. I just wanted to say that,
I wanted to put that out there in the admosphere.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
We will get to basketball, but you know, we're going
to test your football. We're going to test your football
skill right now, and we're going to talk. Obviously, we
were talking Patrick Mahomes at the end of last breakhead
into this hour.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
He not only toy a c L. It should be
uh noted that he also tore his l c L
as well, which adds extra complication to the repair of
what's going to take place with him.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Michael Parsons, he he took Uh, he took a dive
as well. Uh, and he had a tear as well.
And obviously we we wish both of them speedy recoveries
and and coming back with uh, you know great great, uh,
you know, talent and still being good at what.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
It is that they're doing.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
But you know, we had the question about what that
means for the Kansas City Chiefs and and Kelsey for
this year. But fellas, I want to pose the question
while Kansas City is out. It'd be interesting to hear
what you guys feel about. Is this still a team
that should be a you know, feared team in the NFL?

(04:53):
And what does Michael Parsons loss mean to the Green
Bay Packers season? And whoever wants to take it first?
Obviously you just come into the show. So if you
want to jump on it first, uh, mister Cuff's the legend,
you are more than welcome to.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
I hate to see I hate to see Mahome getting injured,
just like Jason Tatum. I hate that situation. And by
the way, Jason Tatum, I don't want to see him
come back because I don't want him to rush come
back too soon. And this just injury is re injured itself.
So I just hate to see that injury. By the way,
I don't even know what an LTL is. I don't
even know what that is.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I don't uh. I want to say it's the lateral
cruciate ligament. Let me look it up, let me look out.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
That's what I'm saying. So I just feel like.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Man, go go. I'm gonna tell you on the second,
hold on, go ahead.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
You might wanted to shut it down for the year.
If you're Patty mahomes man, and I don't think it's
time for that that that franchise to retool man. Andy
Reid is getting up there in age man, the Washed
chronicles are real, man, I don't I don't know his
exact age, but Andy Reid is like almost seventy, right
in the seventy sixty Lake sixty. So the question I
have is take this year off, Paddy, But how is

(06:09):
it gonna look possibly without and you Reid in a
couple of years, because how many years did you have left?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Two years?

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Maybe three? I want to see how my home's gonna
look without and you Reid being the focal point because
he is the mastermind behind his offense. And also they
got to get a running game, go draft Jeremiah Love,
get a running back, a Bill Cow running back you
can give the ball to out of the gate, that
Jamiir Gibs type player. And I feel I just got
to retoo their whole offense man in their whole system,

(06:38):
because it's a down year for them.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
So the ACL, just so y'all know the ACL, that's
the interior cruise shit ligament, all right, So that that's
helping connect the thigh bone the femur, the shitting bone,
the tibia, all that. It's just it's very crucial. It's
a very critical ligament. The LC is the lateral the

(07:02):
lateral colateral ligament. That's correct. So he tore the outside
ligament on on his knee as well. So there you
go go ahead.

Speaker 7 (07:12):
I want to say this about moving forward with Kansas
City that I didn't get a point out last last segment.
The whole Travis Kelce thing I believe is that Kansas
City I don't see Andy Reid waving or cutting Travis Kelce.
I believe that they are going to let him go

(07:32):
out on his own. But moving forward, Andy Reid knows,
and I think Patrick Mahomes knows that he's going to
hinder this offense if they don't, you know, cut him
or wave him because he's not the same player that
he is. So what are they going to do in
that regard when they know and we see that he's

(07:54):
slowing down and he's no longer having an impact on
that offense that he has had over the last decade.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Like Cuff stated, just stated.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
How does this offense look without Patrick Mahomes for a year?

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Is Andy Reid still Andy Reid.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
So there are a lot of different dynamics going on
within that team, Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Travis kelce that trio.
What does Kansas City do moving forward when they don't
have one of those three? It's not going to be
the same football team. Just like Cuff you said that

(08:35):
they need to run a game. And I just don't
believe moving forward that Kansas City is going to continue
to be that dynasty that we thought that they were
going to be. I think the Kansas City Chiefs team
is going to look a lot different in the next
year or so moving forward.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Now, I'll say this, Travis kelcey, is he as good
as he was three, four or five years ago? Absolutely not, No, no, no,
he isn't. But last year the Kansas City Chiefs wearing
a Super Bowl Travis Kelsey would admit he had a
down year. When was the last year Kansas City won

(09:18):
the Super Bowl? Y'all helped me out.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
The last year is like two years ago?

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Three?

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Correct?

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Yeah? Yes, twenty twenty three.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
So Travis kelce had ninety three catches, nine hundred and
eighty four yards, averaged ten point six yards to catch
five touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
As a as a tight end. That's not a bad year.
It's not a bad Okay.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
So now this year, he's averaging over a full yard
per reception, already has the same amount of touchdowns. He
may get to the yardage, but without Pat Mahomes probably not.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
So.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
If Pat is healthy, he's gonna have more catches, more yards,
more touchdowns than he had to.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
Yes, but that's not the What does Travis Kelsey look
like without Patrick Mahons?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Travis looks impactful this year, though he doesn't.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
He doesn't.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
This is what you This is what people say when
teams lose and they start blaming the best players. Travis
Kelsey has played really good football this year. They're not
losing because of Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
He held up.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
They're not you know, they're not winning because they don't
have guys on the outside that are winning on a
consistent basis. Their defense is still seventh in the league.
And let's just be honest, let's just be on. Nobody
wants to say this. I'm saying Pat Mahomes has not
played well at all this year. Like he's had some
good games, he hasn't played well.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
They have not been good as a player. The enemy
has left from being the.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Well they want a Super Bowl without Eric m Enemy,
so they.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Have not had the whole offense. Their defense has carried them.
They won that super Bowl is their defense.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
But God, Patrick Mahomes has not been great this year.
He wasn't great last year, but people don't want to
say that because he's Patrick Mahomes and he's won all
these hoop bows. Travis Kelce has held up his end
of the bargain. He's played really good football this year.
You compared to last year, he's been very good. If
I'm Andy Reid, I'm not cutting him. If he chooses retire,

(11:17):
he choose retard. I believe he will because I'm not
playing if I'm Travis Kelsey and like who gonna be
my quarterback type of thing, like what? And so if
he does retire, he's had a great career. He can
hold his head high because he knew. He went into
the lab this offseason and got in great shape and
the results are showing. I can't blame him for them.

(11:38):
Not o lion king block. Pat Mahomes ain't playing the best.
You don't have a gown on the outside that can
win ultimate team game.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
You got all linds of speed and athleticism on the
outsides with Rice, with the kid from Texas.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
What you're worthy.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
You got all this talent, you got veteran leadership, I guess,
and you ju Schuster. You have all kinds of weapons.
And then you have the steady first ballid Hall of
Famer at tight end and Kelsey. There are no excuses.
You got a backfield with Hunt and Pachecko. I know
Pacheco was dealing with injuries, but all right, your offensive line,

(12:17):
you've allowed people to leave. It ain't like it isn't
like they you know, they didn't try.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Leave because they thought everything was sweet. We can let
him leave. We're gonna be good. We can let him leave.
We're gonna be good.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
They thought it didn't work with that, it's not.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Their offense has not been a legitimate offense for quite
some time.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
And var LeVar does the quarter this. This is what
I don't like. When everything goes well, who gets all
the credit, Who gets all the credits? The coach, no,
the court and the quarterback coaching the course, and then
when things go bad, y'all start blaming everybody else.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Well, I be coach on the quarterback. When it goes bad, too.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
When things go well, the quarterback gets all credit.

Speaker 8 (13:00):
Well, that's not true, because I've been given the credit
to the defense. No, no, I'm not giving the credit
to the defense. DJ I'm giving credit to specifically. I'm
not saying you specifically. I'm saying when things go well,
the quarterback gets all the credit. As soon as things
start going bad, that's true. The line ain't blocking. Oh,
the receivers ain't playing well on the outside. Well, when

(13:20):
uh the what happened? Where was all this energy last year? Like,
you can't have it both ways.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
You can't take all the credit and then observe yourself
from any of the blame. No, no, no, no no,
you take the good with the bat.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
So who should be blamed for the Kansas City's epic
fall off?

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Because there's people that the people that received all the
credit whenever winning.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Those people sow the quarterback and the coach, the people.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
That received all the credit whenever winning, should be blamed
out at them.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
The GM has taken a lot of credit, He's gotten
a lot of credit. The head coach has gotten a
lot of credit. The offense, the Patrick Mahomes has gotten
a lot of credit and then has gotten a lot
of credit, and Spagnola has got me.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
That's real leadership, though, Like if you're one of the
best players and you've been getting all the credit, you
put it on your It's on me take all the blame.
I don't care if you want to blame me, because
if I'm one of the best players on the team
and we losing, part of that is on me.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
So I'll take all the blame.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
I'll take all the blame.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
We're running out of time for the segment. Does the
do the Green Bay Packers still have a legit? I
thought they were going to win the Super Bowl with
Michael Parsons. There's no doubt about it in my mind.
The way Jordan Love is playing, obviously Watson is going
to make a return. It looks like and play. It
wasn't as bad injury, It wasn't a season ending injury.

(14:42):
Is this Green Bay Packers team still in position to
win the Super Bowl without Michael Parsons?

Speaker 5 (14:49):
I believe.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Zero percent chance?

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Wow, I heard that. I believe it.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I heard and I heard it.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Y'all are man.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Let me tell you we speak speak.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Hey offensively.

Speaker 7 (15:09):
I think the Green Bay Packers are as talented as
anybody in the Football League. So they do have outside
of a zero chance to win the World Championship.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
Jordan Love has to go out and be elite.

Speaker 7 (15:23):
I mean, is a defense still going to be the
same moving forward without Michael Parsons.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
I don't think so.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
But I think the Green Bay Packers, UH, they have
shown versus the two of the top teams in that division,
UH Detroit and the Chicago Bears, that they can come
out of that division and compete to win a world
championship without Michael Parsons. I really truly, honestly believe that

(15:50):
because I believe that Jordan Love is going to continue
to get better and when the season's old, we're going
to be talking about this young man as possibly being
the best quarterback in all of football. I believe that
he has that kind of talent. So when you say
that they don't have a zeep they have a zero
chance to win the Super Bowl, I think that you

(16:14):
are kidding yourself. Just because Michael Parson goes down that
the Green Bay Packers are not legit. They are legit,
and you can write it down, take a picture. Remember
me saying this, The Green Bay Packers are legit.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Put it in the cloud. Put it in the cloud.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
He answer this question, because one of these teams ain't
gonna make the playoffs, the Green Bay Packers, the San
Francisco forty nine ers, the Chicago Bears, or the Detroit Lions.
One of those teams cannot. It's impossible.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Who not making it Detroit? If you have to take
Detroit Detroit.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Yeah, I'm not necessarily sold on Chicago Bears either, I.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Think, saying fran Is, I'm not so in Chicago.

Speaker 7 (17:02):
They had them, they had a good month of November.
But I just think that that the Oye test is
telling me that from an experienced standpoint, that they reading
the newspaper, they're reading their own clippings.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
They've been they've been.

Speaker 7 (17:16):
Doing well for the for what a month, that, what
ninety three, whatever the case. Whatever the case is. But
I'm just telling you, moving forward, I just think that
they they they they've kind of uh, they're believe in
everything they're hearing. Caleb Williams is playing better, But I
just don't believe. I'm not gonna see here and say

(17:38):
that Chicago Bells are Super Bowl contended.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
I just don't trust them yet.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
M all right, Well that's plexico birds right there. We
also have Cuffs, the legend, we have t J. Hushman Za.
We got so many different people, uh that bring that heat. Superstars.
Of course to the show, we're gonna talk about Rocky.
Sylvester Stallone played Rocky, the fictitious character that was based

(18:05):
off of a boxer actually from I believe Philadelphia, I mean,
but I guess the real boxer was from like New
York or something like that. Anyway, and Rocky three he
fought this this dude named Club or Lange. Now the
reason why you may see this as well, what kind
of a tease is this, Well, it's the type of
a tease that you make when you're gonna talk about

(18:26):
at Jake Paul fight, because I don't believe they're real fights.
I believe that their movies, much like Rocky Bowboa. So
what we're gonna do is we're gonna take a break,
We're gonna come back and we're gonna get the opinions
and the assessments from these superstar guys about the fight
that took place, and we will get into the round ball.
We heard mister custa legend talking about his and TJ.

(18:50):
Hushman Zada's La Lakers. Yeah, we're gonna get to all
that and a whole bunch more. We got a little
bit of time, but we're gonna get a lot of
topics in all right, this is up on Game and
this is Fox Sports Radio. Will be right back. Sure,
let me talk to y'all a little bit more about
the hotly debated topic of hot sauce and in the
world of hot sauce, this year's MVP. Well, I'm not

(19:13):
talking about players. If you are listening to the show,
you know I'm talking about pores. That's right. Most valuable of.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Pores the MVP.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
If you dig what I'm saying, listen, I know mine
is the original Louisiana hot sauce. Why, well, it's my
favorite and it's my MVP because well, the sauce is
is just amazing and it's simple. They keep it simple, pepper's,
vinegar and salt, just three main ingredients. But they hit

(19:42):
real hard and it's the perfect balance of heat and flavor.
And that's why it's MVP material. Well, what makes it
more important and more valuable as well if you look
at it the other ones out there, their second stream,
their second stream, because the original Louisiana Hot sauce. On
game day, it dresses everything you eat, your favorite eats

(20:04):
with ease. You drizzle it on your nacho, your burgers,
your pizza. You put it on your gumbo or anything else,
your soup, whatever it may be, it's going to score. Finally,
just take a look at its record for almost one
hundred years. Its flavor is undefeated. A tasty Louisiana legacy
like that deserves the most Valuable Poor title. It also

(20:27):
deserves the original Louisiana Hot Sauce mv.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
VP.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
That's right, that's Louisiana Hot Sauce. Make sure you have
balue some.

Speaker 1 (20:38):

Speaker 6 (22:03):
You already know I've got one quick wed this week.

Speaker 10 (22:07):
What are you the what are you the FBI with
the questions.

Speaker 6 (22:11):
Yes, are you excited to get flop for Christmas? Ilo?
Are you excited like I am to get bopped and
bok in all the walk gift for Christs? Are you excited?

Speaker 10 (22:24):
To be honest, I'm not really into the gifts.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
You know.

Speaker 10 (22:27):
Getting getting to talk to you once for these brief
moments every week is enough Christmas gift for me. Now
you have a question for me, have a question for you.
What's your problem with Saint Louis?

Speaker 6 (22:39):
Oh? Wow, hey man. All I'm saying is I watched
a lot of stuff on you, doube, but it looks
like a very rough lad man.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
You need another forty eight hours. First forty eight and
all that. That's where all that takes place. And in
Saint Louis.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
Yeah, exactly, wait for that.

Speaker 10 (22:57):
Hang out with me next time I take it. I'll
take you to Mama's on the Hill. Oh the shaved
duck smokehouse. Uh, provouns that one?

Speaker 5 (23:08):
Whoa now shave.

Speaker 10 (23:11):
There's there's Saint Louis, and then there's Saint Louis with Ilo.
So just file that away, guys.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
We still have no score in the.

Speaker 10 (23:18):
College football playoff between seven seed Texas A and M
and ten seed Miami. They have ten seconds left to
play in the second quarter. Texas A and M earlier
had a twenty two yard field goal attempt partially blocked.
Miami then missed a forty seven yard field goal wide
to the right. A short time ago, Texas A and
M faked a punt from their forty six yard line,

(23:39):
but it fell incomplete. Miami drove the ball down to
the Texas A and M thirty yard line. They completed
a pass down to about the twenty three yard line,
but that catch is on a replay review right now.
The ruling on the field was incomplete. It's in a
replay review right now, So as we speak, we have
ten seconds remaining in the second quarter, still no score

(24:03):
between Miami and Texas A and M, and the incomplete
pass was overturned. It is now a completed pass, So
Miami coming up is gonna have a second down and
two at the Texas A and M twenty two yard line. Again,
ten seconds left in the first half, no score. The
winner faces Ohio State in the quarterfinals, coming up next

(24:24):
to three point thirty Eastern eleven seed two lane plays
at six seed Old Miss. Multiple outlets reporting today Kenny
Dillingham signing a new five year contract to stay at
Arizona State. Couple of quick atfl notes. The Steelers downgraded
linebacker Nick Perbig two out for Sunday's game at Detroit
because of a hamstring injury. The Indianapolis Colts ruled out
cornerback Sauce Gardner for Monday night football against the San

(24:46):
Francisco forty nine Ers. Incomplete by Miami, So it's going
to be a third down and two at the Texas
A and m twenty two seven seconds left in the
second quarter.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Still no score.

Speaker 10 (24:56):
Cups back, Oh sorry, LeVar back to you.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
That's all right. No, it is the Cuff Hours, Cuffs Hour,
and we'll take that and listen. Speaking of the hour,
if you miss any of today's show, make sure you
catch us on our podcast. Just search Fox Sports Radio
wherever it is you get your podcasts. Right after the show,
today's podcast will be posted. Be sure to follow rate
and give us some comments on how you feel about

(25:20):
the podcast and what people have to say. Obviously people
are giving opinions. That whole Green Bay Packers opinion was
not very well received. But make sure you check out
Fox Sports Radio wherever it is you get your podcasts from,
and yeah, you'll find today's full show. Post it right
after we get off of the air Fellas. There was
a fight last night. I teased it, we talked about it.

(25:40):
It was Jake Paul, it was Anthony Joshua. I don't
know if y'all watched it. I know for certain that
TJ watched it. I don't know if you watched it, Plex,
and I don't know if you watched it Cuffs, but
I watched it, And for some strange reason, my dumb
ass continues to actually turn on the fight and actually

(26:04):
expect to see a fight. But with that being said,
I ain't as dumb as all the dudes that paid
for tickets and went and sat in that arena and
watched what that was that took place. Now, unless I
was going with the understanding that this is going to
be a scripted of some sort type of fight, which,

(26:26):
given it sanctioned fight, gives it reality and gives it
something real. But this was no better than a WWE fight.
It's scripted as to who was going to win. It's scripted.
Don't hurt him too bad. Even though that maybe they said,
you know what, punch him in the face to finish it,
because you got to say stay faced and save your career.

(26:47):
You can't go down in a blaze of glory in
a fight against Jake Paul do career suicide. But nonetheless
it was his biggest paydate. This was Anthony Joshua's biggest
fight pers So I ain't mad at him doing it.
I'm just mad at him for doing him. How did
you see it?

Speaker 7 (27:04):
I'm I don't think you can script a broken jaw.
I just I read that, Uh, Jake Paul has a
broken jaw. I don't think you can really script that
part of it. I mean, I don't think he wins.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
I don't think you scripted a broken job. But now
I ain't saying that. I ain't saying that. But but
the way, the way he got the hit him at
the end, he was allowed to hit him.

Speaker 7 (27:30):
Yeah, it looked like he looked he saw the punch
coming and deliberately didn't guard his jaw, which needs surgery
now moving forward because it's now broke. But I will
agree with you, I don't really tune into the whole
Jake Paul think because you know what you're going to get.
It's all scripted. It's not real boxing. So if you

(27:52):
would have put Jake Paul in the ring with a
real professional heavyweight for a real fight, Jake Paul would
get destroyed.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
And so Anthony Joshua could have beat his ass in
the first ten seconds of that fight and put him
to bed.

Speaker 7 (28:10):
It's a gimmick a jokers. Like you said, it's scripted.
I don't tune into it because you know exactly what
you're gonna get. They're gonna selling tickets, they're making money.
Is scripted. When they walk in the ring, you know
exactly what's going to happen. Is not a real boxing competition.
So that's why I really don't pay attention to it.
But because of that, the man has a broken jaw,

(28:32):
so you can get what you get. Hey, hey, TJ.
Ward and listen my man. And I know I met
Ward before. Dre's cool dude.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Now Lenox is my guy. Me and Linux, like.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
We go way back.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
We go, we go over to the Islands where he lived,
and we be in the mountain. Anyway, that's a whole
nother conversation for another time. But I couldn't believe that
they were leveraging Linux and andre Ward to try to
make this into a legitimized fight, and the way they
were talking, Laila was there I think Layla was the
only one. Leila Ali was the only one that wasn't
playing that go go game like she did. She she

(29:07):
kind of went with it a little bit. But the
way the announcers were, Oh, Jake Paul has him playing
into his his uh what his his his strategy is
for the fight and this could go anyway, And it
was almost like they were setting this up for Jake
Paul to have his moment to actually have Anthony Joshua
take the fall from a punch.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I don't, I don't.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
I'm gonna be honest with y'all. I think it was
set up for Jake Paul to have a punch on
on Anthony Joshua that would end in him winning the fight.
But he he was so scared of this man that
he started. He got so fatigued he could.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
Not stand up.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
He couldn't even keep its legs.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
I don't think it was scripted at all. There's no
way you break in my jaw and we script anything.
There's just no way. The punch wasn't scripted. A bunch
of a real punch. I'm gonna say this. You fighting two,
you're fighting in the twenty two foot ring. That is
the biggest ring that you can possibly get. Jake Paul

(30:13):
ran the whole first round when.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
You had him in the corner at least three four
times dangel.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Six when you're six six, two hundred and fifty pounds.
That's Anthony Joshua. You you go out in the blaze
of glory if you want in the first round and
and shoot your wid in trying to knock him out
and tire yourself out.

Speaker 5 (30:31):
It's Jake Paul a professional.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
No, but he's been boxing on a consistent basis the
last seven eight years. He two hundred and twenty pounds. Man,
if he land flushed, he dropping you. If you Anthony Joshua,
you can't just throw caution to the wind and say, oh,
I'm a LIMPIC gold medal so I'm a two time
heavyweight champ.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
I'm just gonna say that because if you get caught.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
If you get caught, then what bro that ring?

Speaker 2 (30:53):
With his his numbers were historically epically by standard, not
even by Anthony. Was punching count by standard of any
type of fight. That man could have been jabbing the
hell out of him and was not throwing any.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Touching.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
He wasn't throwing Joshua knew whatevery what we all, you
should not come out in the first round, and he
was looking for that one perfect punch and he said,
you know what, Okay, let me wear him out. He
Jake Paul crumbled from the mental pressure. It was the
mental pressure realizing like, oh, all the stuff that I
trained for, it ain't working.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
All the stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
I'm I'm so mad. You are such a sports fan
and know so much about sports and you actually are
taking this stance on that fight. That man could have
jabbed that man to death and.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
His body gonna how you're gonna jab somebody that's running
the whole fight? You had got.

Speaker 6 (31:50):
God, I gotta say it, TJ Listen, Man, that was
a you know how you know it was stage because
Joshua wasn't even sweating.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
He was rou He came to, he came to he
was so uninterested. He ain't walking out. He ain't bring
nobody out to the ring with him. This dude got
withshi coming out with him. Come on, man, it was staged.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
It was a stage faring session. And I will say this,
I really that's what it was.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Way.

Speaker 6 (32:20):
I really respect the way that Jake Paul has leveraged
his YouTube fame, and yes he has your fame. And
even though he is one of the greatest cloud chasers
in American history, everything is content. So even if he
did break, even if he did break his jaw, you
saw the hospital pictures. He got the X rays of

(32:42):
his jaw on social media already. So I want to
say this, really, man, this everything is content. I want
to live my boocketless dream. I want to bop the kangaroo, y'all.
I want to go to Australia.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
Let's set it up, alright, bro on on, God up
on game. It happened here. We're setting up that fight.
You with a Diesel one too, that big Diesel one.
I gonna do that.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
How to say this, I gotta say this speaking of boxing, man, TJ.

Speaker 7 (33:09):
I gotta give you a flowers man, kudos to you
because you are so knowledgeable and everything that we talk about.
I had no idea that a boxing ring was twenty
two feet.

Speaker 5 (33:21):
I thought they are all the same. No, I learned
something today.

Speaker 7 (33:25):
I'm pretty sure everybody out there learned something today because
I thought all boxing rings were the same.

Speaker 5 (33:31):
I didn't know that the boxing ring came in different sides.
So go ahead.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
When the guy really wants to like move around the ring,
they gonna get a twenty two foot ring. When you
got to when you got a guy that wants to
box and a guy that wants to brawl, if the
brawler is the A side, they gonna get a smaller ring.
And okay, that's when I saw it was a twenty
two foot ring. I said, Oh, Jake Paul about to
get on his bicycle these first two rounds and tire

(33:58):
himself out.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Well, I'm walking back and I'm grabbing them flowers back
up because I can't believe you'd sit there and say
that I'm grabbing your flowers back up and I throw
them in the drag. J Hootchman's us out of here,
out of it.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
Okay for what he said about this fight and anything
that's scripted, you are I'm not saying get away.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
It wasn't meant for him to break his jaw. It
was not meant for it was meant for him to
knock him down, and in the fight, it was not
meant for him to break his jaw.

Speaker 7 (34:30):
Go ahead, okay, I want to say this. We're still
in boxing. Tans Crawford retired five time division champions. Shot
think when he obliterated Earl Spins Junior and he beat
Canelo Alvarez, there was nothing left for him to prove
in this sport. He gracefully bowed out and his record

(34:52):
is un blimish forty two one.

Speaker 5 (34:56):
Oh. So give my man terres crawfor Junior.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Because those fights, those real fights. Speaking of and your
boy Chakor Stevens said he's got a big one coming
up as well. I know I wasn't up on Skor
until yep, the dork himself. Hey there, Shakoor right there
with me and TJ was in Vegas. He was like,
that's a bad boy right there. Ever since then, I
known who he is and I've been paying attention to
him his belts because away in unbelievable. M Well, hey,

(35:25):
we did that just happen? When When did that?

Speaker 5 (35:28):
When was that?

Speaker 2 (35:28):
When was that?

Speaker 7 (35:29):
When his last fight six seven months ago he got
shook all his three belts because he was overweight going
into the bout. And you know, once the guy, you know,
get where's the fight, he's not going to give him
a rematch. So he basically has to start from the
bottle and work his way all the way back up.
So good for him getting back in the ring because

(35:51):
he is one of the best fighters in the world
in his division. But he had a he had he
had a moment where he took all his belts from
because way in, which is ridiculous. I don't know how
his team let that happen, but it happens. So Skur
right here from Newark, New Jersey, get back in the.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Ring, fem t Femo Lowpaz on January thirty first, by
the way, and that will be a big time throttle
and we'll see what happens with that. Uh, fellas we
we we're going. We didn't talk too much round ball
at all, but we do have a short segment next

(36:30):
one to do just that. So make sure you stay
locked in, down in because we're gonna finish out. We're
hearing about the La Lakers for about four minutes or
so on the other side of the break, because you know,
obviously we got Laker fans that talk about the Lakers
on this show every Saturday. So that's t J. Huschman's
out of and cuffs legend, by the way. But the

(36:51):
other guy the other side of it, that's Stretcher Armstrong
Plexico Burds would be interesting to see what he has
to say about NBA talk as well. This is up
on Game. I am Arrington, this is Fox Sports Radio.
Will be right back and listen. When y'all heard Cuff's
the Legend come in to the segment this day today,
you heard him talk about how excited he was about

(37:12):
the day and how he felt and how well it
felt like he had to bluech you. Well, I tell
you what. You're gonna want to feel like Cuff's the Legends.
You're gonna want to feel like that champion, that hero.

you know why because we all want to feel strong.
We want to feel like we're at our best. We

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Hutchman's out as Flexiico Burus's Cuffs the Legend. I'm LeVar Arrington.
Make sure you stay down in. Jonas Knox will be
coming on immediately following the show. I said, we're gonna
get to some basketball, so let's do it. Cuffs what
you got for us?

Speaker 6 (38:41):
Bro Man, I'm gonna do some some dude shout outs,
real quick record, fire man shout out to Vincz Braun
family man, bran his bag. He's get his rhythm back,
like I told you a few weeks ago, starting to
ramp up. He's looking real spry right now. Y'all the
last four games, twenty five points a game, eight, rebound seven.
It's this He's back man pretty much. You know, Luca

(39:03):
Ust the Reves rule with y'all, guy going cool control
right now. Shout out to the New York Knicks, man,
the New York Knicks. They went to Vegas, they took
down winding y'alla banner, and the Spurs got the NBA Cup.
Although the Knicks are saying, y'all, they don't want to
hang the banner, how we feel about that? They don't
want to hang the banner? You want the NBA Cup.
You're never going to see another banner in your life,

(39:25):
Spike League, You're never going to see another banner, So
why would you not hang the banner in nst a hanging?

Speaker 7 (39:33):
I don't know, man, Listen. I think it's a league
rule now that they have to hang the banner. But
I think they're just, you know, really just saying that
because of it's the NBA Cup. It really it really
doesn't mean anything to us, especially here in the in
the Big Apple. So I don't blame him. I mean,

(39:53):
we won the NBA Cup, We beat one beyond, we
took down the Spurs. But I agree with him. Man, Listen,
if you don't want to hang the banner, you shouldn't
be forced to hang the banner, especially in the most
iconic arena in the world, Madison Square Garden, because at
the end of the day, it's just the NBA Cup.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
Oh no, yes, the NBA Cup. But Cus, I don't
want to say this.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Man.

Speaker 7 (40:19):
For the last week, we have seen some chinks in
the armor from OKC. Listen to that OKC in San
Antonio Game Man was one of the best basketball games that.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
I've seen a long time.

Speaker 7 (40:30):
Man, high level competitive, It had like an NBA Finals
type feel, and obviously last night Man taking down OKC.
He went for twenty six, twelve and three. So we
do see some chinks in the armor with OKC. So
what you think going on OLDKC right now?

Speaker 6 (40:50):
Cus, good question, Man. I watched that last night and
the key stop at the end one on one Mono
and Mono SDA being guarded by a man. Anthony Erwits
was moving the puffy. They got the game winning steel,
game winning block, game winning three ball. But I will
say there is a slight kink in the armor. We

(41:10):
saw it. Women and Yama dominate but I think OKAC
might make a sneaky move at the deadline because they
do have a stock power, draft picks and assets, and
I think the blueprint is out. Even though they have
a magnificent record right now, where they're sitting at like
twenty six and two or twenty five and two, they're
still sitting at the top. But I think that the

(41:32):
blueprint is out to where you have to match their physicality.
You have to be handsy just like they are. That
is their cheek code at the team defensively, Caruso, Cason, Wallace,
lou Dor, these guys JDP, they're very handsy on defense.
They're up in your shorts, they're grabbing you to get
away with a lot of things on the depensive side.
And you saw the Spurs the other night when they

(41:54):
played them, they matched that physicality. I think that's what
a lot of teams are figuring out. They have to
play that way. As we saw last night with the Timberwolves,
they're a physical team when they choose to be. You
saw Chris Finch last night, the head coach of the Timberwolves.
He got ejected. He set the tone for the team.
And then at Man was in the locker room post game.
It was like, you know what I rock with that?

(42:15):
You know I f with that. That's that's my coach. Like,
that's that's that's saying, that's that's staying on business, guys.
That's that's let's be dogs out here. So I love
the mentality of the Timberwolves right now. But okay, Steve,
they still gonna repeat plax. They're still gonna hold the
trophyill again.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
You think so. But will they break the record super quick?
Will they break it?

Speaker 5 (42:36):
Nah?

Speaker 6 (42:37):
No, sixty save sixty eight.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Okay, well we'll see how it all goes. That's cuffs
the legend right there from some dude show. Make sure
you check them out. Uh, we got Plexico Bursts, we
got t J. Huschman's out on LeVar Earring. To make
sure you check out our podcast, and make sure you
check out Jonas Knox. This is up on game Fox
