Twenty six off to a great start, huh.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
I mean yeah, the crack Man props man nothing like
it just hit hits like crack baby.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
We don't have a lot of them like normal this week,
but uh, I mean yeah, slid.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
This week, so I'm looking forward to that again. I'll
just say this the most uninspiring one seeds in NFL history.
I mean, like, what are we doing here? I get
I understand the way this process works, but I mean
watching Seattle last night beat the forty nine ers. They
won thirteen to three. Have you anyone watch Sinners defense
the last month? They're the worst defense in the NFL.

(01:40):
Seattle can't score. The most uninspiring one seeds we've had
in a long time, Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, Bo
Nicks and Sam darn It's gonna be the first year
I pick against the one seed because I I Brian.
I'm just so uninspired watching Seattle playoffense. It's third and
fourteen against a team that cannot rush theer, and you're

(02:01):
running a swing screen because you're terrified your quarterback making
a mistake. Out out on that team, immediately out on
their defense. Incredible, they deserve all the credit for their defense.
But if you are terrified of your quarterback, I'm out,
immediately out and Denver, not Denver. Seattle looks like they're
terrified of their quarterback at all times. And I just
can't think a team my dad's gonna win a championship.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
You know, I'll say real fast because it ties to
what you're saying, Jeff, and then I'll hand the betime
to you, crack. But when when Kenneth Walker rushed for
a first down on third and seventeen, Yes, like, just
building off what you said, they're scared of Sam Darnold,
They're not pushing the ball downfield. They ran it with
Kenneth Walker and he got the first down, and a
little piece of John Lynch's soul died in the luxury box, right,

(02:46):
the former safety, and he's sitting there just helpless, like,
oh my gosh, we just let him get a first
down when.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
They ran it. O.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
That was brutal, man. But what a team last night, huh?
That great defense and the turnover the interception forced on Yeah,
a ball that was just barely tipped still should have
been caught by Christian McCaffrey. He bobbles, it turns into
an interception. It's the play of the game, right. If
they score a touchdown, it's a three point game, and
who knows, maybe Sam Darnold is in a high leverage

(03:15):
situation and doesn't come through. But we never got to
that point.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
There are I think I saw the status. Only three
teams have run the ball in like third and fourteen. No,
assume there's only been four conversions this year of a
run on third and fourteen plus and they're all four
have been Seattle.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
No kidding, real, wow, what is that they've been?

Speaker 6 (03:36):
They've been converting the Niners. Mind you, no all Pro
Hall of Fame left tackle in this game, no wide
receiver in parasol they didn't have. They've kittle off an injury.
They're out twenty seven defensive players, and they're one tip
pass away from basin Niners covering the close number of three. Like,

(03:57):
I just don't believe in Seattle. I just you're not
gonna convince me that right now. Now with it again,
the one seed is so valuable because you play one
less game, right, Like, how important is that you get
a week of rest? Considering that these teams enter the
postseason beat up? And we want to talk about games
being played today where teams are having to play their
starters to secure a certain position right that that that

(04:18):
they want to be in. But considering that, and and
and that one the one seed, right like typically the
team that we turn to and say that's a team
who's going to win. The Seahawks are like slight favorites
right now over the Rams, and they have the one
seed that's going to tell you, like, how how we
think about those teams this year? Seattle might finish first

(04:39):
in d v A in offense and defense, But does
anyone believe in them? Do you believe in them? Brian?
Do you believe in them?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Crack?

Speaker 6 (04:46):
I certainly don't.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Well, their their defense look pretty dominant. Uh, it's it's
actually a big win for Seattle. But that's one of
the toughest places to play, to the Home of the
Twelfth Man. It's a huge for them to have that
home field advantage in the playoffs. But I know none
of us are sold on sam Donold in the playoffs.
But if their defense plays like this, if they only
need to manage to get them a little hot the

(05:09):
day of the game, make no mistakes, I don't know. Also,
what do you guys think they did? The forty nine
ers still have a legitimate shot and you even if
they have to play on the road. No, no, they
can't playoff tested team a little bit.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
My guess is they end up going. So the Rams
will be the five see if they win today? Correct,
I have that right, I believe right, I would have
met the Niners were either going to Chicago to Philly. Okay,
so Philly's offense is so bad that they actually might
have a chance. Like there's a chance that Phillies offense
just doesn't get together and the Niners can. But the
problem is Philly's defense is just good. In Seattle, I

(05:43):
mean that defense is legitimately fantastic, and so I think
for me there's a concern just about the Niners being
able just to keep up in that game. I think
the Niners went to Chicago, they would have a better chance.
But the Packers, I think are locked in that seat
right now. And so look, man, the Rams are gonna
get whoever wins the NFC South, and they're gonna go

(06:04):
and they're going to Seattle. Probably. I still like the Rams.
I just lock up up. I mean, they went to
Seattle up thirty fourteen, three weeks ago. They went side,
and so I mean, to me, the Rams are are
that team, and you know it might not work out
that way. Obviously, we'll see how it ends up going.
But Seattle just doesn't inspire me, Like, I just I

(06:26):
know people play. Donald played well last night, I mean
did he he missed it. He took a sack on
first and goal to one for twelve yards. He missed
the guy the next drive, I mean, the next player
I believe, like, I mean, sure he made some plays,
but that offense is designed around them taking the ball
out of his hands in important situations. And I can't
buy an offense like that.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
In the playoffs, they ran it so well, and you
have to ask yourself, well, what if their running game
is held in check. This has not been a great
running game for Seattle this season, So it's gonna happen
at some stage in the playoffs where their running game
is just halfway effect or just ineffective. And then what
then it's Darnold and Jackson Smith and Jigba And if

(07:06):
you're focusing on that guy, maybe doubling him, maybe bracketing him,
do the Belichick thing, like anyone but him. Like we'd
get to the playoffs and the Patriots would be like, yeah, no, Kelsey, No,
Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
What else do you have?

Speaker 5 (07:20):
It?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
It's just like, how can you just snap your fingers
and shut those guys down?

Speaker 3 (07:23):
But they did it. It can be done.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
It can't be done.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Looking at all these teams, like like Jeff said, the
number ones, My god, I mean, I guess you have
to I guess out of the crop. Maybe the Eagles, right,
I mean, who's left that?

Speaker 6 (07:37):
I just I just don't trust their offense. I mean
a lot of these teams have fatal flaws, like really
bad flaws.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
What's the fatal flaw for the Rams? Is that their secondary?
No you hate that much.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
They can't hold leads, that's their flaw. Yeah, they've lost
this year being one the secondary?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Right, what are teams doing? Coming from behind their throat?

Speaker 6 (07:54):
But then if the Rams have a good past ros though,
like you shouldn't, it shouldn't matter because they they rushed
the passer very well. But yeah, their secondary is probably
their issue. And because again they brew the Eagles game,
they brew the Rams game lost the Panthers inexplicably, So
that's probably what it is. I mean, look, I think

(08:14):
Seattle's probably I mean the most complete team.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
It's it's the Darnold complax.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
It's ish in the AFC is a whole different ball game, which, well,
we'll get that story out obviously. Tonight will be the
final kind of you know, piece of that of that puzzle.
But it just it's an uninspiring playoff. It feels like
we're going to get what we've got in college football
so far, which is sort of like I don't know

(08:43):
anyone's game, like sort of like the parody is there
where you have these upsets and you have these games
like I know we're getting college trouble. I thought there
was no chance Georgia was losing that game, like.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Zero chance, and the way it was going, like you
get the scoop six, you're up by nine, that they
can't kick a field goal before halftime a miss, and
then you turn around it low miss has a ten
point lead. You're like, what just happened?

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Man?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
It was crazy.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
I went to bed thinking that it was over because
it was twenty one to twelve at half time. It
was late. I had a long, long day with Oregon,
And it does feel like the NFL playoffs are gonna
be that way where you know, I think I'm I'm
out of odds maker. Obviously, crack. But like, I think
that every game will be within three points in the playoffs.
I don't really think anything's gonna be you know, maybe
Seattle gets a bump and a half because of their

(09:26):
home food advantage, But these games are all gonna be
within three point. They're all gonna be toss up, so
they're gonna be pick ups, they're gonna be weird things
happening to you know, the reason why a team wins
or loses. It does feel like this is an unprecedented playoffs.
They've had this in a long time.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Yeah, Seattle went to the favorites. By the way, guys,
MGM Seattle four to one. I cannot take Seattle as
a Super Bowl winner at four to one. I can't
Rams five to one, Broncos eight to one, Patriots Eagles
nine to one, Bills ten to one, Texans thirteen to one, uh,
Jaguars fourteen to one, forty nine Ers eighteen to one,

(09:59):
so on and so fourth. But who are you supposed
to take then? If you look at these top five here,
like it's just tough.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Hey, I'll give you. I'll give you three things real fast.
Normally I'll do like one maybe two things I'm gonna
give you a three leg combo platter right here. Just
observations connected to that game last night. If you look
at the yardage, Seattle out gained the Niners three sixty
one to one seventy three. Niners gained one hundred and

(10:28):
seventy three yards. And I'm not trust me, I'm not
bashing Party. I thought pretty all things considered, played pretty well,
like they had no running game. They're consistently in third
and long. I don't put that loss on him, but
you heard a lot of noise before that game, like,
oh Party, look at these numbers. He's putting Party. It's like,
look who he played against. He played against the Titans defense,

(10:49):
the Colts defense, the Bears defense, and in the final
two games Colts and Bears, he accounted for five touchdowns
in each game, and that was just like, oh, look
at this guy.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Ten touchdowns last two games.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
It's like Seattle's defense is light years beyond styles make fights, right,
So you got to keep that in mind as we
inch closer to the playoffs. I don't hear as much
with another team or another player like heading into the playoffs,
like beating up on cream puffs at least you know,
creampuff defenses or something like that.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
But it's something to keep in mind.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
One other thing, I think the Ravens losing Mike McDonald
as their defensive coordinator is a way bigger deal than
the Lions losing Ben Johnson as their offensive coordinator. That's
all right, That's all you hear this year is like, oh,
look at the the Lions are still one of the
highest scoring teams. If you look at that Ravens defense,
they've had some injuries. They don't have the same juice

(11:41):
without Mike McDonald. He gave them major juice. Look at
Seattle's defense, it's it's apparent. And the last thing I'll
say is more of a question is this a bigger
win for Seattle or a bigger loss for San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
I think it's the latter.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
I think it's the Niner They're so banged up they
got to go on the road next week.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Holistically, oh, I mean, I think Seattle had to win
this game because of where they are with their roster.
I do think that the Niners now have no chance
to win the playoffs, not as at least had a
chance if if they get the home field and you
play Wogain. All they do is win one game and
then they're you know, hosting an answer changing game. I'm
I thought you met, like oh yeah, yeah. Like holistically,
Seattle had to win this game, like they just they

(12:22):
didn't have a choice with the win Niners rosters right now.
But it's a it would have been a bigger deal
for the Niners to have home field advantage in this game.
But the excuse for the Niners is that they're just
they're just super beat up right now, Like, I mean,
what are you supposed to do with all those guys out?
Like It'd be one thing if you had Trent Williams
and a healthy offense, but even that, you had a
beat up kittle and it just wasn't a full offense,

(12:44):
a full comment of offense. And you saw there at
the end like pretty had no chance because they could
st up getting hit because they you know, without Williams there,
like that changed everything you do offensively. And so that
to me was a bigger story than anything Seattle did
last night. And look good for Seattle again for getting
it done. But mind you, the Bears I scored thirty
eight on the Niners, right, the Tians scored. I think

(13:05):
it scored like twenty four like people would score on
the Niners. They scored thirteen points on the Niners. It's
just not good enough considering where that team is right now.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Yeah, guys, these line moves are just amazing. I just
turned my screen on and the whole board is read
today and one of the red ones are a Buffalo
versus Jets. Came out like thirteen, come back fourteen. It
actually opened up fourteen for a second, stayed at thirteen,
went down to six and a half. Now back up
today to ten. Pretty solid. Ten on the is gonna

(13:35):
play right?

Speaker 6 (13:35):
They said there was a question he'd play or not.
I think Sean McDermott said they're all playing at least
for half. I'm gonna have a lot of first at
bets today.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
I mean Minnesota, Like Minnesota was six and a half
the other day. I see it now it's up to thirteen.
I could go on and Houston thunderbolts on lightning, very
very frightening, Galileo, Houston, Houston money coming in on Houston.
Line moves like crazy, And you know, I went to
go make some bets this week because there are no

(14:02):
way Wait a minute, I met. I meant to say,
I meant to go say I went to go make
some bets. When the lines came out on some sides,
no one, I'm going to get some middle opportunities. My god,
the limits were so reduced, like places that normally take
like three dimes here were taking a dime and we're like, no,
please don't bet us. And and just just to see

(14:25):
the bounce backs today and maybe some of the buybacks
and like Jeff said, some of the information out there Pittsburgh, Baltimore,
this line was really strange. Oh, it came out free,
which is fine. I'm talking about the total. It was
forty three, it got knocked down the thirty eight and
a half. Now it's back up to three one and
a half. Wow, what is going on? What is going on?

(14:46):
This is really some really cool moves.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Anyway, we got the kids battling each other.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Yeah, people, do.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
You think it's people just trying to like get hole
for the season, Like the people are like yeah, you yeah.
I'm just like curious, I do you think there's like
extra like attention because people just last last weekend the
season just trying to like get back the best they can,
or is that something that doesn't really happen.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
You think, yeah, no, I think this is Listen, it's
out there on Twitter and social media. People like to
think I'm not talking down anybody. But people like to
think they're sharper than they are sometimes, so they try
to get ahead of the moves, and you know, they
may even be on the wrong side of the moves,

(15:31):
you know, like this Buffalo Jets game. So there, this
line went from fourteen to thirteen, stayed at thirteen for
a while. I know one of my guys took thirteen
instaid it was going to be a good bet. I
just can't stand the Jets. I almost just I can't
stand them. So anyway, took to thirteen, went down to
like six and a half, went back up to eight.

(15:52):
And I know for a fact one of the sharp
guys took the eight thinking he was a sharp gu
Oh no, no eight, And now you could take care
better bet. MGM's at ten now. So it's it's a
battle of squares versus sharps. That's it's a battle of
sometimes and sometimes it's sharp group against sharp group. Now
sharp group, they're just reading. They're reading. You know what's

(16:15):
gonna Who's gonna play. What's gonna happen? I sent you
guys a couple of props earlier in the week, like
on Houston, some of the players over receiving yards thinking
Nico wasn't going to play. Okay, great, I got on
the right side of it, but you know, I'm gonna
be on the right side of those things, you know,
seventy five percent of the time. Now we have to
more than that, actually going to be on the right
side of it. Now we have to actually convert and

(16:38):
win at a and hope to be a sixty percent rate,
which is unbelievable to win sixty percent, but any good
prop guy is supposed to win, you know, fifty seven
to fifty eight percent. We've actually crushed that number this year.
But yeah, it's it's a matter of who who's playing.
Like I said, I'm looking right now at the screen,
and this is the live odd screen. Look at the

(17:00):
look at the Eagles game. So the Eagles game, they
were're gonna play anybody. Then they decided to play people.
The line came out one of the last lines to
come out last week was the Eagles Washington. I actually
don't know why it came out, so late. Now it
comes out and it's like eight and a half, nine, ten, twelve.
Well now it goes down to literally three and a half,

(17:22):
and now there's some money coming into line. The red.
The lines are all red on my screen. Now it's
going back up four four and a half mgm. So
these lines are bouncing both ways. You just have to
be on the right side of the line, and you
have to be on the right side of the move.
Long term, however, on week eighteen, I don't know. There
could be more of a little bit of a luck factor,

(17:44):
you know about some of these lines. Like yesterday I
was told about oh Minnesota minus nine and a half
minus ten, and I just think God, minus nine and
a half minus ten. I hate the late double digits
no matter what in the NFL. Well, look now the
line's thirteen, twelve and a half thirteen. Like I didn't
get I didn't get on that. No, but I don't
middle games purposely a lot. But that's worth the middle

(18:06):
minus ten plus thirteen. Even though it's not three and seven,
it's still worth the middle. These are real numbers that
come out anyway. Hopefully we just just win some props today.
That's what I want.

Speaker 6 (18:17):
To make this point, when these are these numbers move guys,
So you can only arrest about eight starters. So the
idea that it's not college when you put the whole
second string in. Yeah, So like you can only watch
a certain number of guys. So at some point, like
is the backup court like Eagles for example, like Tanner,
there are people that think Tanner McGee is better than

(18:38):
Jalen Hurts. And you're gonna rest a couple of the linemen,
a couple of defensive linemen. You know, no, guys might
dress and not play, but you gotta dress a bunch
of guys that you might actually have to play. And
so like most egal starters are gonna play. But the commanders,
they're the reason why that number did go up cracks
is they were waiting to see if Mariota would play
or not. He's not gonna play, So you have Johnson

(18:59):
gets against Tanneman, Like I kind of like equals on
that one again. Three and a half.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yeah, it's funny.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Three and a half.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Yeah, if you go to a game, or even if
you watch it on TV, it's funny. If you watch
a college game, it's just players and it's an endless
sea of players on the sideline, just players player.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
They have dressed so many players.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
You look at an NFL sideline, You go to a
game and you like sit behind the bench, You're like,
where are all the players?

Speaker 7 (19:23):
Like?

Speaker 4 (19:23):
You got players on offense, you got a couple of
dudes like huddled up on the defense, and a couple
of stragglers. There's like no one on the sideline. To
Jeff's point, you can't replace everybody, right, It's not like,
all right, the entire second string and get in.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
It's not like that.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
And the other thing. I'll say, you're super fast. I
have like a public service announcement for week eight team. Okay,
this is the official public service announcement for week eighteen.
It's something very important to keep in mind. Backups don't
automatically play badly. Very important to keep in mind because
you'll hear this steadily throughout the day, like any conversations
before the games start. Oh, this team doesn't have this player.

(19:59):
Oh that team doesn't have that player. Well, it could
be a significant loss, it could make a big impact,
but not automatically. Sometimes the backups they do produce. Also,
like Jeff just said about.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
They're playing for the career.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
Yeah, like you think Tanner McKee, this is his moment, man,
Like some people are like a week eighteen, who get
this is Tanner McKee's moment. He's been holding the clipboard
all season long. This is go time against Washington's defense.
So it's something to keep in mind. The backups don't
automatically stink it up. Some of them actually do produce.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
And again, today is going to be a day where
I think charting targeting first half would be something that
I do because I think we're going to see teams
like the Rams, you know, play their starter. I know
mcvasically are gonna play, but McVeigh doesn't want to play
starts we have to he never does. So like a
first half wager for the Rams, right right, feels appropriate? Right,
A first half wager for the ag patrich Patriots like

(20:51):
something like that. Yeah, like just kind of oh yeah,
the paths really one that like those guys really like
that make it makes a lot of sense because.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Yeah, I like that too.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I like the Pats thing because it's not just about
chasing down the Broncos. I'm expecting Jacksonville to win in
the early window against the Titans and the Patriots need
to win to avoid falling to the three seed, right,
Like they need to win to keep the two seed.
Now that's the thing. I don't know if they care
about that, but if they do, they're gonna play their guys.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
But you're also playing for Drake made to win MVP. Yeah,
they're like, they're like, there are a few other things
that are like at play here, which, look, I these
are full season awards. They're not awards for he played
the best last two weeks of the season, which is
kind of silly to me. But that's where now with
with a lot of these awards. So I think like
the first half of these games, like, oh wow, the
Rams jumped to nine and a half of the six

(21:42):
and a half yesterday's.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Nine, I know, thirteen, Yeah, sure.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
These again, the people are thinking the same thing I am,

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Got to tell you, I got a flashback with that
song Explosive. We would use that song as the background music.
I had this silly jacket and the brand was Sierra Sport,
and so we just made these goofy commercials where you
know I was doing amazing things because I was wearing
this jacket and it was just like Sierra Sport. But anyway,
that was the music in the background. If you saw it,

(24:21):
you'd be like, now that's cutting edge right there.

Speaker 6 (24:23):
I did think about that. Yeah, that's what came in
my head.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Yeah, we were like, man, what a concept. You know,
bushels of money is with that concept alone, we'll get
to college football and the most significant thing that you
think has happened thus far. But I want to say
something about the Tampa game yesterday.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Tampa beats Carolina.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
We'll keep the short because that's how bad the game was, right,
and it is the most NFC South thing ever that
the division is going to be decided by two teams
today that can't win the division. Like if if Atlanta wins,
it's a three way tie atop the NFC South and
Carolina goes to the playoffs. If Atlanta loses to the Saints,
then somehow, some way, Tampa goes. That's what we have today.

(25:05):
But we talk a lot about the weather. We're talking
about wind being more significant than rain or snow, and
that's absolutely true. Wind makes the biggest difference. But I
don't want to make it sound like rain or snow
makes no difference whatsoever. You saw it yesterday, man, and
it was coming down pretty good. But look at the
plays that the weather affected. Baker Baker Mayfield tried to

(25:27):
throw the ball. The ball just slipped right out of
his hand. You know that not every quarterback has these
enormous hands and the weather is just unaffecting them. Also,
Sean Tucker fumbled a kickoff return, and the flea flicker
from Hades is what I call it. Rico'doudell stumbled, he slipped,
and he still tried to throw it. Listen, man, Like
rain can make an impact, wind makes a much bigger impact.

(25:50):
But let's not make it sound like rain doesn't affect anything,
because it does.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
No rain like that certainly does. Now, the the flea
flicker is than that. You just you just can't call
in a situation. Yeah, I feel like the Panthers lost
that game more than the Bucks won that game. There
were alliances where the Panthers just made some silly calls. Now,
the officiating was absolutely atrocious in that game, but I

(26:15):
mean that's that's like anything about the deficiating, right, So
even the officiating being as bad as it was, and
it looks again, there's no conspiracy, okay there offishing just stinks.
It's not like it's not like they were out to
get the Panthers's. It's just not good. It wasn't good.
Fishing wasn't good.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Right, But this is.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Why I talk about officially not being the sole reason
why a team wins or loses, because as bad as
it was against the Panthers, don't call the flea flicker
and you win the game, man, right, Like it's that simpot.
Don't call the flea flicker and you win the game.
So this is where I think, like we have to
stop blaming the officials for everything. I know, it's easy

(26:57):
to do that, and they were certainly not good and
her the Panthers a lot. And guys, I'm sure that
the officials that are in the booth are fine people,
but enough enough if they're.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Gonna be that that. But you know, it's like, you know,
what what was it like? Defeat got tangled? Terrible call,
and the officials like, I mean, he wasn't looking. He
doesn't have to look, he doesn't have to look.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
So like the thing about it is that the official
in the booth. Their job should be to inform us
of what the officials see. But also I think there
has to be an honesty about it, and just lying
to our faces about what we see.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
Is not worthing to the broadcast.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Good point, you know, like Orlovsky and Lewis Ridick were like,
and even Chris Faller was like, those calls sucked. I
was like, well, guys, we watched them trip like we
saw it happen with our own eyes, you know, the
Tendoro McMillan, OPI, the ball wasn't even in the air.

(28:05):
How's it pass interference? The ball was multiple cens would
be in the air if anything. I mean, actually, there's
not really a penalty for that, Like, honestly, there's not
really I guess, OPI, I don't know, man, I mean, Opa,
he doesn't have to be with the ball in the air,
because you can pick someone the balls in the air. Yet.
But that being said, the panther chance to win the game, Brian, I,

(28:27):
football should be played outside. Man, Sometimes you have ran.
Sometimes you don't like it. O.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Man, it crushes me that we've got what the bears,
We've got, the commanders, we got the chiefs. We are
talking domes. The Bears with the dome is there's just
something un American about that, Like I just can't wrap
my mind around no Bears weather in January.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
You kidding me.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
I don't want a dome with Chicago ever. I don't
want to see that ever. But we're going to.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
And I am not saying that it's the reason why teams
win or lose games in the postseason, but it does.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Cold is tough, man like, yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:58):
Even if you're used to playing in it, it's it's
not even the actual game. Like you're fine when you're
playing in the game, but when you got to warm up,
you're like, oh, I've done this, I gotta go. I
would warm up beforehand before the team warmed up, because
sometimes you play like one thing I love any Reid
is that he doesn't like you just do your own
warm you get you're like you walk out the figure like,
oh this sucks, like you just like you're like, oh,

(29:20):
it's miserable. That's it's it's a mental thing, right, just
it sucks to play the cold.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
Did you play for Reid? Is that? Did you play?

Speaker 6 (29:28):
Yeah? No, not my last year, but I played his
first year in Kansas City. It was my first you.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Said something interesting here, because I've said this word so
many times. It's the human condition. We don't want to
think that we pick a loser. It's not our fault.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Right right, So it's it's it's the raf its someone else. See.
And then you have a.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Game like that where you see such blatant errors and
now you're saying, see, this has comfort. Even if I
didn't bet the This is my confirmation. This I told you,
this is what's happening. It's fixed. Everything's fixed, and it's
just it's it's listen. Even situations of that pouring down
rain yesterday in Carolina. I was pouring in Tampa. It

(30:12):
was pooring and and one of my guys said to me, hey,
matter of fact, it was MGM. Hey, MGM has a
really good line on this first half total compared to
the market. Under is a good play. Well, sure enough.
I bet at MGM. And I want to tell you something.
I was an underdog until like eight minutes. But I
mean the first the first twenty minutes of that game.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
That first time I'm gonna have but right down the field, touchdown.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
It just it can happen where it doesn't matter even
though it's pouring down rain. Maybe the rain caused points
the other way. So nothing's ever a lot, guys. That's
what I'm trying to tell you. Nothing. You see snow,
you see things. Oh it's a lot. No, it's not.
Even when we talked about this before, about snow and stuff.
If you see that these conditions automatically when they put

(31:00):
the cameras on and everyone home season, the games automatically
moved to the under. Were normally someone like me or
even like Jeff said, you know, we bet over and
it doesn't mean we're gonna win. It just means we're
gonna have the best of it. After the line moves
a couple of points, so it nothing's a lock, guys. Nothing.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
I'll tell you what. Man, if you were on Tampa
minus two and a half or minus three yesterday, you
gotta be watching the end of the game like what
what just happened? Like they're gonna kick a field goal
to go up twelve and it's over, Like with the
points spread, it is done. It's a wrap, it gets blocked.
It's this low line drive kick. The next thing you know,

(31:37):
it's fourth and eight for Carolina. They hit a forty
yard pass and then on second down it was a
beautiful throw and catch in the corner of the end zone,
on the side of the end zone, and all of
a sudden, you're like, oh gosh, like I'm gonna lose that.
That was brutal.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
They looked around the swing of money nationwide, worldwide. You're
talking to a ridiculous amount of money swung. And let
me tell you something, They're perfect. I'm glad you brought
this up, Bryan. The people that won the game, I
think they should have won the game.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Yeah. I was on Jarlida and I'm like that that
was already besides today.

Speaker 6 (32:14):
Yeah, there's someone who had a bad NFL year. I
deserve that, Cracktice our twenty six. That way, I will
take Panthers plus three and make no features about it.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
I feel the same way. I'm like some stuff away
from me that you had no business so I didn't
feel guilty about them.

Speaker 6 (32:26):
I don't feel guilty at all.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
Sorry, sorry bet MGM. I won my wager.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Yeah, yeah, crack I know, I know you don't like
the word lock, but there is a lock today, all right,
there was a lock or other guy. Yes, that our guy,
Isaac Low and cron he will. That's a lot today.
That's all he's got the latest. What's going on?

Speaker 1 (32:46):
I Low, Good morning fellas.

Speaker 9 (32:49):
Speaking of locks, I just realized that I remember the
combination to the lock of my locker in junior high school.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Are you guys, that's just start you say lock?

Speaker 1 (33:03):
And that literally was flashed into my mind.

Speaker 9 (33:04):
It was twenty six nine, twenty six, and then in
like February of that year, somebody gluted shut, which I'm
still bitter about. People are bitter right now in Northern
California because on Saturday night, the Seattle Seahawks what at
San Francisco thirteen to three to claim the one seed
in the NFC. The three points the fewest the Nighters
have ever scored under Kyle Shanahan. Compiled just one hundred

(33:26):
and seventy three yards of total offense and nine first downs.
They were two for nine on third downs. However, forty
nine ers tied in. George Kittle was able to put
the loss into some measure of perspective.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
We've also home a division rival for the division and
the one seed that sucks.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
That just is what it is.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
And yes, I'll be very I'm disappointed about it.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
It's horrible.

Speaker 6 (33:47):
Good news is I gotta play football next week, whether
it's Saturday, Sunday, Monday, whoever it is, I gotta play
football again.

Speaker 9 (33:53):
Earlier Saturday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Carolina sixteen to fourteen.
That means the NFC South will of course be decided
today by the Falcons Saints game. Carolina wins the NFC
South with a Falcons victory, Tampa Bay wins the NFC South,
whether Saints win or if the game finishes in a tie.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
By the way, love this.

Speaker 9 (34:14):
On social media, someone named at Roger posted quote, it's
so stupid that a game between two eliminated teams will
decide who makes the NFL playoffs.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Clearly they need a better.

Speaker 9 (34:27):
System, like having twelve athletic directors sit in a fancy
hotel ballroom and decide which teams get in and one
must be Alabama.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Unquote very good at Roger.

Speaker 9 (34:40):
Multiple outlets report Texans receiver Nico Collins will be held
out of today's game against the Colts. Speaking of the Colts,
NFL media reports the teams are doing research on recently
unretired Colts quarterback Philip Rivers as a potential head coaching candidate.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Guys, all yours thank you.

Speaker 4 (34:59):

(35:21):
if we're talking about dumb real fast here, Jeff, it's
also a dumber that the winner of the NFC South
with a losing record is the four seed automatically and
gets a home game. Now you want to talk about dumb.
That's peak dumb right there. But you know, the NFL
is going to keep that system just dumb. They're just
gonna keep it dumb. Let's keep things dumb going forward.
It's ridiculous. How do we have that? How do we

(35:43):
have a losing record? Will be fine, they'll be fine.
But but the thing is, it affects the rams path
throughout the entire playoffs. You know what I mean, like,
it's not just the one road game. It's like you're
locked into the five seed the whole time, so that
can impact you down the road. What was it the
one year it was the number five and number six seeds.

(36:03):
It was Philadelphia at the Arizona Cardinals. It can happen
right where you get. You know, crazy stuff happens. You
get a road you get a home game later on
as a lower seed, it can happen. But not when
you're locked in super low from the beginning. It's not
going to happen.

Speaker 6 (36:18):
The lone sixth interception game they got Arizona. They came
here to Charlotte beat us my rookie season. They beat
us in that game, and that was that was kind
of like the sort of downfall of John Fox after that.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
Yeah, all right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian no coming
up next the Parlay Pladder, which have one selection for you.
We pool it together for a greater payout. We will
compare notes. Next. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
kick Off presented by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios

All right, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Check this out our late letter.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
All right, we just have one selection for you.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
We rule it together for a greater payout, hopefully make
all of us rich and you guys rich. Grac We
start with you, what's something you like?

Speaker 5 (37:27):
I'm gonna take it to a weird place here, all
this stuff going on in the NFL. Let's go to
the FCS National Championship Game tomorrow night in Nashville, Tennessee.
Illinois State plus ten and a half at bet MGM.
Illinois State's been good to me, good to us, so
let's take the points there. I know Montenna State's got
a lot of offense, but I'm hoping that Illoise take

(37:49):
and hang with them and maybe even scratch out a
sick moneyline win. But let's just go with the plus
ten and a half at BETMGM.

Speaker 6 (37:57):
Okay, crack, we're schwartz Indicia that one, Oh oh wow.
I took him Ontana State minus eight and a half,
like immediately when he came out. We could both win.
There we go, it's perfect. That'd be fun game though.
Monday night games in Nashville chants to be a fun
game between Illinois State. I mean, they're unbelievable. They beat
They went to Seorkfoe STATEIU and won that game. They
were down two touchdowns for like five minutes left, came

(38:19):
back and won, which is incredible for them. So it
should be a fun game on Monday. Here. Well, this
numbers moved a little bit now, and I guess since
we're doing like, I could make this a different number.
But give me let me see here, give me the
go to parlay. I'll kill a little more juicer. Give
me a Bengals minus six and a half minus one
seventy five here. I just think that the Bengals or

(38:44):
numbers eight and a half now bracket has moved again. Yeah,
the crack chalwn is going to be a wreck today.
Out of all the teams that, like, are gonna play
hard today. The Bengals are the best team in the
NFL when nothing matters. They routinely played wellness tooations they
play well lady. The Browns report out, they're firing their codes.
They're firing this guy. This is happening. That's happening. Like

(39:07):
all they're doing is chuck on Miles Garrett, one more sack.
I think the Bengals score a lot of points today.
So I'm gonna just down a little bit there for
the parlay.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Okay, I like that. And this seems like one of
those Bengals wins where it gets their record a little
more respectable and you know, unnecessarily fires people up for
the next season, Like hey, you know seven and ten
Burrow missed it a lot of the season. It's like, yeah,
you beat the Browns, he beat the Arizona Partners.

Speaker 6 (39:32):
The team you a one wants to see in the
playoffs ran every year.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
He made the playoffs twice. Sometimes that tesna keep his job.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
It's crazy, isn't it. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the
team total. I'm gonna go with Philly. Give me over
twenty and a half points. Tanne McKee in for Jalen Hurts.
A lot of dudes are resting, but this Washington commander's
defense is just bad. And I think that twenty and
a half is a bar that Philly is capable of clearing.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
So it's come down a.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
Little bit, so you're getting a little bit of value
in terms of that like a better number. So I'll
go over twenty and a half.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
I'm not in love.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
With it, but it's week eighteen, man Like, it's hard
to fall in love with much in a week eighteen,
But I like that when a couple of props I
really like. But I'll go with that.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Team total for the platter.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
If you combine those three legs, Crack going against the
Schwartz syndicate, Crack as Illinois State plus ten and a half,
Crack has the Bengals minus six and a half, I've
got the Eagles team total over twenty and a half.
The payout would be plus four forty two. Right there,
there we go.

Speaker 6 (40:35):
I think I'm oh for our relationship up cutting against Craft,
So I don't really need that state wager here. But
I made it like two weeks.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
Ago, So I tell you what.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Keep in mind, I wrecked the parlay.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
I was the one bad leg last week, and I
had the Titans like under I think twenty and a
half their team total. They cleared it the first half.
I was like, Oh, that makes me feel great. It
wasn't just a field goal at the end. It's like
it'll have it. It's like I was dead in the
first half. That's just a bad pick. It's a bad pick,
all right. Coming up next the college football Playoff? What
has been the most significant thing thus far? Oh? What

(41:12):
is going on? Welcome in here, Happy Sunday, Happy Week
eighteen to you, not just Week eight team going on.
College football Playoff is in full effect. We've got a
review and a preview two headed monster here. We'll get
to that in just a second. Throughout the entire football season,
bet MGM will offer all different types of no sweat
tokens and odds boost tokens. Be on the lookout for

(41:33):
no sweat same game parlay tokens, parlay boost tokens, and
so much more.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
Okay, if we look at what has happened.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
And it's obviously tied to what will happen going forward,
but what do you think is the most significant thing
that has happened. Is it the teams that aren't around?
Is it say, Ohio State's been knocked out, George's been
knocked out. There are a lot of people who like
Georgia to win at all, right, and they lose an
instant classic against Old Miss. Is it something like that

(42:02):
or is it Indiana looking like an unstoppable machine? Like
what do you think is the most significant thing in
the playoff thus far?

Speaker 6 (42:11):
It is Indiana continuing to defy the conventional wisdom of
how college football teams win football championships. You know, for
forever it has been we have more pros than you do. Essentially,

(42:33):
we have better players than you do. And Indiana has
some pros. The number one picking the draft potentially don't
have a ton of high draft picks. Right The wide
receivers are going to be what late day two guys.
The middle linebacker will be a late day two probably player,
some of the defensive lineman maybe day three guys. Their

(42:54):
center will be drafted at some point. Not a ton
of dudes, man, not a ton of high level NFL player.
And they're just defying what we've seen wins championship college football.
They have a few things that are on their side
that really help them. One is they're really old. They're
an old football team, and we've seen the last two
years with Michigan Ohio State that those teams are also

(43:17):
very old. We look at their starters on offense, I
think everyone but one is at least in their fourth
year on defense, and they had three guys are under
four years. There's an older team. They have Mendozer who's incredible, unflaable,
and their coaching staff is so good. They're physical as
a team, they don't make mistakes, they play football in
winning ways. They're hard to kill. Man, it's gonna be

(43:37):
really hard for Oregan to win this game. So that
means Indiana because they would break basically everything we've known
about the sport if they win the championship. Now, of
course they could be outliered, and I do think that
this is sort of the year they have to do it.
Look at their recruiting rankings, like, I don't think they're
gonna be back in the spot. This is the this
is their time to do this right now, and I

(44:00):
so I'm looking forward to saying like they would break
every traditional thing we've thought about the sports.

Speaker 5 (44:06):
Well, I have to feel that a couple of things here. First. Well,
first I go with Miami. Actually, Miami shocked Ohio State.
They really locked them down on defense, winning out right
as nine and a half point underdog. That was really impressive. However,
I'd probably have to go with Mississippi's win as the
most significant of the week. They were down two scores
late in the game against this powerhouse of Georgia and

(44:28):
came back to win, beating me. Actually, I remember this.
This team was went out there coach Kiffin and has
had a ton of distractions with coach Moves, and I
was really surprised to see them come back and get
that win. But by the way, did any of you
guys see there was some thing on Twitter where Kiffin

(44:50):
had he went to this grocery store, wouldn't pay for
a bag, and a lot of people were abused him.
He took the whole cart home instead.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
You know, to do that in Vegas, and it locked
up on me.

Speaker 5 (45:01):
Cracks. Oh yeah, they do lock up on you, that's right.
They try to take the whole card home and he's like,
I'm not paying for a bag. I just thought it
was kind of funny. I just made a hundred million dollars.

Speaker 6 (45:11):
Yeah, I'm Kiff by the way.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
Yeah, is it Diego Pavia territory for you, Jeff?

Speaker 6 (45:17):
It's it's just like you you have a one team
make a playoff that's actually been better without you. They're
tune without you as their coach in the playoffs. Now, like,
can we just stop? What can we just stop? Like,
can we just this whole deal where.

Speaker 4 (45:30):
You broke up. You broke up. Stop stop showing up
to like your girl's wedding or you know you're you're
showing up to your girls like bridal shower. It's like
you broke up. Go your separate ways, man, Like, I
know you have relationships and you want to see them
do well, but go away. It's time for you to
go away. You accepted another job, go away and do

(45:51):
that job. Man, Like, stop going around Old Miss. Stop
like I might be there for the game. I'm like,
go away, dude, just leave.

Speaker 5 (45:59):
Please.

Speaker 6 (46:00):
The idea too that you know now it's reported that
like the Old Miss coaches are not going to coach. Yeah,
the LSU coaches that are on the Old Miss staff
for half of them are like not going to coach
at Old Miss anymore. That's I like that's just totally
wrong in my opinion, if you allow them to coach
the first two games, they have to continue their job,
Like you knew this is possible, right, Maybe Lane didn't

(46:22):
believe in them. So there are coaches that are like
not going to be able to coach the rest of
this season out for Old Miss, Like you're just hampering
them this entire way. So I just think it's lame.
I think all that's lame.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
I hate the transfer window, you know, like the timing
of the transfer window. It's a ripple effect with that
because listen, it's it sucks either way, because I get it.
With LSU, they're like LSU's like we need our assistance,
we need all of our guys, Like it's the transfer portal.

Speaker 3 (46:47):
Window, like we it's go time. We need your guys.
You know you guys pitching in here.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
We're paying you to be on our staff, not to
still coach at Old Miss. So it sucks both ways. Man,
I get it.

Speaker 3 (46:59):
I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (46:59):
I hate that these guys, some of them, can't continue coaching.
You're in the semi finals, you're in the final four now,
and now you got to go coach your new team
because the window being where it is. It's like, listen,
I love the playoffs and I love the transfer window.
I do. It's free agency. I'm really interested to see
who goes where, and mess to Maker goes to Oklahoma

(47:21):
State and it's like wow, okay, like there's real news.
It's interesting to me. I just don't like the timing
of it. It would be like I love orange juice
and I love grilled cheese. I don't love them together,
Like I don't want free agency during the playoff. And
the ripple effect is you get these goofy scenarios where
coaches that have gone to LSU you know they're going there.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
They got to leave Ole Miss right now where you're
in the final four. That's ridiculous. We should never have
a situation like this.

Speaker 6 (47:50):
Organ lost their entire backup secondary to the portal.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
That's crazy.

Speaker 6 (47:54):
We have no one. There's no backups. And ask Dan
yesterday about this, Dan Laney, He's like, yeah, I'm gonna
have to play in practice. Our backups are true freshmen.
They're gonna like, if we lose one guy in secondary safety,
essentially we lost We've lost our Nick, our backup Nickel
and two backup safety players. It's like like that's like
it's now that the calendar makes it to your point,

(48:15):
like makes it to where it's like impossible for this
to you know really yeah, and I it's a problem.
But also again to the Lane thing, like you chose, yeah,
you let them, you need to let them finish the job. Anyways,
enough about Lane Kiffen who cares in the end Indiana?
To me, it's an incredible story.

Speaker 4 (48:35):
Yeah, yeah, their four point favorite.

Speaker 6 (48:38):
Uh look, Miami had you know, I think two things
we have to think about when it comes college football differently. Okay,
I'm gonna talk to you about this with you Brian
On on Thursday morning. Was the idea that like it's
almost a pro model now for the playoff teams, where
what you do in October you have to win enough
games to get in the tournament, but it doesn't really matter.
We're gonna and we're gonna head in the playoffs for NFL,

(49:00):
and we're not gonna say, remember when so and so
lost in October?

Speaker 4 (49:04):
No, right, yeah, but in college.

Speaker 6 (49:06):
Football, Miami lost to Louisville. Okay, I mean right.

Speaker 4 (49:08):
By the way, Jeff, just like like underlining your point,
the Lions beat the Bears like fifty two to twenty
one in Week two, think about that the.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Lions beat him fifty two to twenty one.

Speaker 4 (49:20):
Look at where those two teams are heading into today,
like no one would. It's like, you don't even refer
to that, but you're right, you refer to it to
a fault in college football, there's no Yeah, So.

Speaker 6 (49:29):
I think that's we have to look at it much
differently and also along the same lines, like it's really
about peaking now and and you know, the ability to
to get to in Ohio State, for example, just all
years sort of like like kind of thought that could
turn on a little bit. I just think that they
got appointment. It just they kind of just like they

(49:50):
could do anymore.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
Right.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
I never bought him.

Speaker 4 (49:52):
I thought they were overrated from the get go, totally
untested talent left and right, but tight Ryan day Now
he's calling plays like untested in terms of the schedule.
They beat Texas and that's it, end scene, right, and
then they lost to IU.

Speaker 5 (50:06):
That was it.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
They're untested elsewhere. Man Like I just didn't buy them,
So that was good. I felt good that and I
called Alabama fools goal they never had the goods man,
they never had a sustainable formula, not at all. That
you can't show up, no running game, no pass rush,
overly relying on Ty Simpson and expect to make a
deep playoff push. There was no way that was ever

(50:28):
going to happen. But still, like two things can be
true at the same time, totally impressed with Indiana. Indiana
is the only team that had a first round by
that won their game. Like all the other teams with
first round bys are oh to seven and losing by
almost fourteen points per game. And then you had IU

(50:50):
not only win be the only first round by team
to win their game, they won by thirty five points
and pulverized Alabama. So that to me is the most
magnificant thing. It is the turnaround how fast it happened
for Indiana. They were before Signetty got there. They were
nine and twenty seven for three years before he got there,

(51:12):
and the final year before he took over they were
three and nine. They went from three and nine to
a playoff team, and now this season they're an undefeated
playoff team with the Heisman Trophy winner and they just
blew the doors off Bama and they're the favorite to
win a title like it's an amazing turnaround.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
What's happened there?

Speaker 6 (51:30):
And I don't think there's any way to replicate it.
They just sort of hit gold in a given year,
like I mentioned, like they're ninth and Big ten recruiting
right now, Like this is not sustainable. This is they
just sort of hit it. Well, they're a veteran team. Again,
they have my respect that they don't make mistakes, they
don't turn a ball over like they've just been dozed

(51:53):
as a killer man. As much as he I think
he might be a little Kirk cousin esk when he talks.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
He's also Wilson ESK, what are you talking? Russ must
watch him and be like, why do they hate me?
Love this guy? What was going on here?

Speaker 6 (52:06):
He just like he just continues to make plays. And
but the buy thing is interesting because I can make
a case it matters and also doesn't matter, like Texas Tech,
for example, Oregon was the best defense they played all
season by far, and they just shut them down, Like,
I don't does it matter? They didn't they had to buy.
I don't know, mate, maybe right right?

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Yeah, No, I hear you, I hear you.

Speaker 5 (52:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
And Georgia didn't lose because they hate they were off
the week before. They lost because they just did some
silly things at the at the end of that game there.

Speaker 4 (52:36):
So I'm with you. Sometimes the BUYE team, they do
look a little they look a little sluggish, right, well,
you did it?

Speaker 6 (52:43):
Look slugsh in the first quarter they yeahm under three
and a half points. They keep the field goal the
first play, second half of the second four I should say, yeah,
they're fine because they're the good team. They turned it on.

Speaker 4 (52:52):
By the way, if we move this thing forward, what
are you guys think in Miami Ole, miss Oregon IU?

Speaker 3 (52:58):
What do you think with both those matchups?

Speaker 6 (53:02):
All I know is that for the first time in
like forever, the sports books will need organ to cover
a game for them. So I definitely, which is like
a rare spot to be in. I'll just put it
like this. I mean, I'll make my pitch now. We
actually won't talk again until after the game. I went
back and watched the first game, its first half at least,

(53:25):
and man, there were so many opportunities Oregon had and
just an offense, like just a drop pass, like it's
just a they just did not play well. It's Indiana,
and part of that's Indiana did some good stuff against Oregon,
but if we allowed three hundred and forty yards again,
which you did the first game, I would be pleased.
Like that feels like a winning number. Just got by
Putter better on offense, got by Putter on offense. Indiana,

(53:47):
It's gonna be hard to beat Man. There's nothing they
do that's bad. That's such a complete team. You need
to turn over and probably bounce a luck here and there.
I think it to be very hard to beat them.
I'll put it like that. I think they're the rifle
favorites for a reason, and I doing this number will
get out a little bit more too. I think people
are gonna bet all Indiana. I think they're gonna see
all Indiana all week. As far as the other game, look,

(54:08):
I think Miami is better, but I thought Georgia was
better than Old Miss too. I think the think about
Old Miss offense is that I do worry about it
when it plays a really good defense like Miami, because
the tempo. It's not like an offense that schematically tries
to fool you. They try to out tempo you, and

(54:28):
that does worry me. When you play much better defense
in Miami, and I think I think Old Miss can't
stop the run. I think Carson back again, he'll have
to throw You don't have to throw the ball. Like
no one has made Miami and made him throw the football.
And so I would leave Miami in that game. I mean,
I think if I think, obviously I'm gonna pick Oregon
to win, but if you picked Indiana, I would absolutely

(54:48):
understand the reason why.

Speaker 5 (54:50):
I think the Indiana game is pretty efficient. Now. It
opened up three and a half, went up to four.
I was thinking not the opposite, not that Oregon money
would come in, but I thought was pretty much set now.
And you know, I've kind of I bet against the
Oregon a couple of games this year and actually got
a little bit lucky, maybe with jam you and uh,

(55:10):
you know, taking some points with garbage touchdowns at the end,
but there was also some points I actually bet Orgon
I remember once. I think I even send it to
you guys. I bet Oregon first half in a game.
One game too. Yeah, this particular game. Jeff might be right.
This this might be their u This is they're gonna
be their toughest challenge of the year, of course, but
this this may be the game where if they can

(55:33):
get by Indiana though, Wow, and let me tell you
that they were only two let me see the money line.
It's like it's got to be their two to one, right.
It's guys, it's not like it's not like it's a
it's it's a one eight. It's that there are one
eighty favorite Indiana one. Any favorites lose every day, I
may have to say I may have to this this

(55:53):
particular game though, if it goes to four and a half,
I may have to take that Hill can take Oregon
in this game.

Speaker 4 (55:59):
To let you guys know, yeah, you know, it's funny.
I'm just peeking at the props for the Miami the
Miami Old Miss game, and it's kind of tied to
Week eighteen, you know, Like I have this confidence pool
and Week eighteen is just gross. I have to pick
every NFL game with the points spread, and it is
a hold your nose special man. It is just disgusting

(56:20):
all across the board. But the point is you have
to make a pick on every game. So if you
had to make a pick, I know you wouldn't want to,
but if you had to make a pick, Trinidad Chambliss,
the ole Miss quarterback who was sensational against Georgia. His
rushing prop is at twenty three and a half. Now
he can move around. He's a threat with his legs.

(56:41):
But sack yardage counts against your rushing total in college.
It's dumb. It's I don't know why, but it does.
So if you had to make a pick, are you
going over or under Chambliss twenty three and a half
rushing yards against Miami?

Speaker 6 (56:55):
So I would take the over, but I would just
look at rushing attempts of if I had a choice
on that, right I even with the sacks, I think
he's gonna have to do a ton of running in
this game. So I would still take the over in
this one and look at the and thenk you only
had like four carries against against Georgia. I bet the
over on that too. You didn't really run the ball.
I think half against Miami. That defense is so good. Yeah,

(57:17):
so I would I'd probably lean over there, even though
I know the sack numbers. You'll play role in this
as well, But let.

Speaker 4 (57:23):
Me throw two others at you. So Mark Fletcher Junior,
the Miami running back. His rushing prop is at eighty
one and a half. Now, you just said, Jeff like
Old Miss doesn't do a good job against the rush,
and he's been sensational in two playoff games.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
But man, that's a that's a pretty high number.

Speaker 4 (57:38):
It's ticked up a lot. It was way it was
like half earlier in the playoff. And then also think
about this one, Key one Lacy, his rushing prop, the
Ole Miss running back eighty three and a half. Miami
plays good rush defense. Eighty three and a half is
a high number for Key one Lacey. Man, I took
that sticks out quite a bit.

Speaker 6 (57:59):
I took fletch sure over nineteen and a half carries. Okay,
he had nineteen carries right here on the on the
second to last driver, second to last drive of the game.
He got one, he got won two runs, uh, and

(58:19):
then he got three runs four so he he was
one away, okay from getting over. And then his backup
had one run, two runs, three runs four five he
got the backup got five carries in a row. Sent
a Fletcher. I lost, I lost by by half?

Speaker 4 (58:35):
Was it Pringle or somebody else?

Speaker 10 (58:36):
No?

Speaker 6 (58:37):
Brown?

Speaker 4 (58:37):
A third guy man, Wow?

Speaker 6 (58:40):
Yeah, yeah, that thirstring guy got five carries in a
row to end the game in a like in the
situation where you're trying to run the clock out and
not the best running back to have on the team. Yeah,
that was That was That was pretty Let me give you, yeah.

Speaker 5 (58:53):
Let me give you the latest major line moves. Here
we go. I am shocked at MGM is still eight
and a half on Cincinnati one. It's ten. It's a
solid ten out there everywhere. MGM is sticking to the
eight and a half. There. Interesting that when we talk
to we're gonna have Christian all right, guys, yep, when
we talk to Christian, I like to know why they've

(59:15):
just left it alone. But that's one of them. The
second one, Atlanta are going up to four, even four
and a half now over New Orleans and again Chicago Bears.
This line was one and a half, went to three,
stated three for a while, went to three and a half,
four now four and a half almost everywhere.

Speaker 7 (59:34):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (59:34):
Wow, this is the team that all year we've been doubting,
all of us, and I'm on that train. And now
this is granted. I understand that this is not for
anything for Detroit except for Pride and the old division rival,
but man, when did these Bears when did they get
stopped the playoffs? Right? First round? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (59:54):
Right, and the other thing in that game. We'll get
to it a little bit more, but yeah, we are.
You know, Dan Campbell is the competitor, and he has
to hear the noise of oil the Lions without Ben Johnson,
and now you're going up against him. You know, I
don't know if he's going to be able to, but
you know he's going to try to dial up as
many points as possible against a very weak Bears defense.

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
They just live off takeaways.

Speaker 4 (01:00:16):
They're just they're giving up yards left and right, points
left and right, but they're just living off takeaways. So
it could be a shootout. And I know Dan Campbell
is gonna would have put as many points on the
board as possible.

Speaker 5 (01:00:28):
I would agree.

Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
Yeah. The adhole thing is, I don't know they're going
to prevent the Bears from scoring a lot of boys either.
It's gonna be a high total. Act the total one way.

Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
Up to it. The total is also a major line move.
Fifty one and a half now popping up everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
It makes sense to me. Yeah, yeah, And.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
As we speak, I guess oppressions listening. They went to
nine and a half on Censey. All right, well, as
long as you guys listened, Wow, there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
All right, Okay, we've got Bill Krachenberger, professional sports handicapper,
Jeff Schwartz with us eight year NFL veteran I'm Brian No.

We welcome in our good friend, Christian Zeppelini, bet MGM,
Senior Trading Manager.

Good morning to you, Christian. Happy new year as well, buddy.

Speaker 4 (01:02:23):
I hope things are well and we need to know
what you guys need here, like what are the biggest
needs for bet MGM. And I guess is it as
gross for you as it is for us because Week
eighteen is just, my gosh, it is a it's a
rough existence trying to pick winners in this week.

Speaker 10 (01:02:40):
Man yeah, this is one of my least favorite days
of the year in the trading room. Some of the
drafts will get up there, but Week eighteen is definitely
one of them for a lot of reasons. I mean,
if you're looking at this board, you know we have
almost every single game on the board has moved three

(01:03:00):
to four points. You know, there's a couple on here
Raven Steelers that stayed pretty you know, firm here.

Speaker 7 (01:03:06):
But everything else has had a ton of movement. Trying
to figure out who's going.

Speaker 10 (01:03:10):
To start, who's going to play. You know, the Bill
is going to play the starter as the whole game,
or they're going to pull them in half. Same with
the Texans. You know, there's so many question marks going on,
and then on top of it, there's all these incentives too.
They're trying to figure out, you know, we're always trying
to manage who's going to play or they only going
to play so they get their incentive. So it is
just a crazy chaotic week, and I'm excited that we

(01:03:32):
have about an hour and a half left.

Speaker 6 (01:03:34):
I love this incentive talk because you see these tweets
from people being like this so and so player, I'm like,
they actually need to get the ball though, Like it's
easy to say that, but they have to be part
of the game plan. Do you find yourself taking enord
amount of of of wagers on overs because they people
think that they're going to end up getting you know,
like a stat you knows because of a player is

(01:03:54):
going to go over.

Speaker 7 (01:03:56):
Yeah, exactly, but I think he is.

Speaker 10 (01:03:59):
Even we kind of talk a little bit about last week,
you know, a lot of that is already.

Speaker 7 (01:04:02):
Baked in at this point.

Speaker 10 (01:04:03):
You know, the books are well aware, but the incentives
are well aware that people are always going to bet
the over is on them, so you know, the over
prices is definitely a bit inflated. And there's even at
times too where you know, certain owners and certain teams
they'll just tell the player you were close enough, we'll
pay out.

Speaker 7 (01:04:19):
So you know, it doesn't always end up that way.
It's being my best.

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
Advice, Christians. Has there been previous years we're week fourteen
that you've actually lost money with the with the in
the in trading room at the end of the day.
Has there been weeks that you've actually lost excuse me,
has there been years you've actually lost Week eighteen?

Speaker 10 (01:04:41):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (01:04:41):
Certainly, Yeah, I mean I also think there's a little.

Speaker 10 (01:04:44):
Bit of a factor too of you know, fantasy football
is obviously so big and a part of uh even
this side of the industry, a lot of the casual fans.
I think even with kind of fantasy football out, your
team maybe not playing their starters, your team maybe just
being out of it, there is a little bit less
enthusiasm from the public and casual side of things, whereas

(01:05:06):
sharps know that this is maybe one of the best
weeks that they could have. You know, I already talked
about there's so many games with four to five points
of line movement. I mean, if you took the rams
earlier this week, you got him at seven and a half,
eight and a half, and that lines up to fourteen
now maybe going up to fourteen and a half. So
you know, any other week you're really not going to
get this amount of movement, and this a.

Speaker 7 (01:05:27):
Lot of value that you end up having.

Speaker 10 (01:05:29):
So with that, you know, we end up getting a
lot of sharp action and not as much public action
to sometimes overwrite it in this week.

Speaker 5 (01:05:36):
What is your biggest risk this week? Right now? As
we look, what do you have that you're going to
be rooting for that MGM.

Speaker 7 (01:05:44):
Yeah, I know. We talked about the eighty percent ones.

Speaker 10 (01:05:47):
So there's two that I've had this week where just
really lopside of action, and one that we just mentioned
is that Cardinals Rams game.

Speaker 7 (01:05:55):
That's maybe the biggest.

Speaker 10 (01:05:56):
Lopside of game that I have seen maybe all season.
We're at over ninety percent of the action.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
Coming in on the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
All right, sorry, the.

Speaker 10 (01:06:04):
Rams, Yeah yeah, wow, yeah, yeah, So that's our biggest one.
The other one with a ton of action that's getting
into eighty percent is Bill's Jets. That line kind of
moving all over the place a little bit, but we've
taken significantly more Bills action so far.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
No way, people aren't willing to bet the Jets there, Chris.

Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Brady Cook Brady Cook signed me up right.

Speaker 7 (01:06:29):
No, seventeen weeks, still not interested.

Speaker 5 (01:06:33):
It's right.

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
How about the college football Playoff? Is there a need
for you guys with these upcoming semi final games?

Speaker 10 (01:06:41):
Yeah, I mean absolute craziness the final four that I
don't think anybody out there would have expected from the
book's perspective. Miami has been a loser for us over
the last couple of weeks, so that continues on the
book will I'll be ready for Indiana. But Indiana and

(01:07:01):
old Myths actually end up being two decent outcomes. You know,
I don't know if that'll hold for now, but you know,
as of right now, where the.

Speaker 7 (01:07:09):
Book is okay with Indiana, is that for long.

Speaker 6 (01:07:13):
Term liability because right now, yeah, yeah, all the emails
we get are like, you know, eighty percent of money
on Indiana for the game. Just it's just a long
term liability in Indiana.

Speaker 10 (01:07:21):
Yeah, yeah, Sorry, I was talking from a futures perspective.
You know, Uh, if Indiana wins the outright, that'll that'll
be good for us. Yeah, as you mentioned, uh, Indiana's favored.
You know, we'll end up probably taking more favorite money.
But I do that's a game where I do think
as we get a little bit closer, I think I
don't think it'll be too crazy lopsided.

Speaker 7 (01:07:40):
Maybe sixty five percent in Indiana.

Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
Be my guest.

Speaker 6 (01:07:44):
Quickly, back to the NFL, we talked about this or
start the show just sort of an uninspiring group of
one seeds with the Broncos most likely in Na Seattle.
What have you say as far as the future market
for Super Bowl wagers like recently, not obviously, because it
does feel like no one's gonna bet Seattle, no one's
going to bet the Broncos, which typically the one seeds

(01:08:05):
are the ones where most people will be you know,
so strongly about the about those teams winning.

Speaker 10 (01:08:11):
Yeah, it's it's really just a wide open.

Speaker 7 (01:08:13):
Year this year.

Speaker 10 (01:08:15):
The forty nine ers up until last night, really we're
that team that was taking a ton of action, you know,
more and more as it got closer to the point
that maybe they could be the one seed, they were starting.

Speaker 7 (01:08:27):
To get it. Be right, it is a little bit uninspiring.

Speaker 10 (01:08:31):
A team that is kind of taken a little bit
more for us is the Bears the Jaguars.

Speaker 7 (01:08:37):
So I think that's.

Speaker 10 (01:08:37):
More of kind of what we've seen in this kind
of wide openness, is not taking the Seahawks at plus
four hundreds or taking the Broncos at plus eight hundreds,
instead maybe taking one of these more outsider teams getting
a better price just with.

Speaker 7 (01:08:51):
It being so wide open.

Speaker 10 (01:08:52):
Well, all right, well then maybe the Bears are alive
at twenty two to one or the Jags at fourteen
to one.

Speaker 7 (01:08:57):
So we've seen a little bit more of that.

Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
I've been saying all season. Well, well, I guess the
last six weeks about the speaking of outsiders, there's still
outsiders at nine to one at MGM is the Eagles
are Have you not seen any action on the Eagles
to win the Super Bowl? Really? Has that? Has that
been a And by the way, out of the teams,
what is your big biggest exposure? What team do you
want out of the playoffs? Instantly?

Speaker 10 (01:09:22):
Yeah, okay, so I always mentioned I'll go start from
towards the back of the lineup here and the Steelers
for some reason of bet MGM every year, we always
have Steelers liability.

Speaker 7 (01:09:32):
Their prices one hundred.

Speaker 5 (01:09:33):
And one, so you don't got to worry about them.

Speaker 7 (01:09:35):
Yeah, I don't think we do either.

Speaker 10 (01:09:37):
But we ended up taking a pretty large bet mid
season on the Chicago Bears, so that puts us at
a good amount of liability on them.

Speaker 7 (01:09:44):
So that's another you don't got to worry about.

Speaker 10 (01:09:47):
No, I don't think our team with the most liability
is the Bills. Actually pretty smar in away. Our most
liability is a Bill, so that's the one we'd like
to get knocked out. The next most bet on team
after the Bills is the Eagles, so that, but a
lot of that was from preseason into the summer going on.

Speaker 7 (01:10:11):
Yeah, as the.

Speaker 10 (01:10:12):
Defending champs, they would end up taking a lot of action,
but no so and in the last couple of months, No,
they really haven't.

Speaker 7 (01:10:18):
You know.

Speaker 10 (01:10:18):
It's probably a lot of that offense looking a little
bit slow that has stopped people from kind of piling
in on them, you know, and they also kind of,
I guess, haven't really looked like the team, you.

Speaker 7 (01:10:30):
Know, the defending champs.

Speaker 10 (01:10:31):
They haven't looked as strong and just feels like a
wide open race.

Speaker 5 (01:10:34):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
Interesting stuff is always Christian, you crushed it today, man,
great stuff to start twenty six. Really good information man,
and hope you enjoyed the day and we'll catch you soon.

Speaker 7 (01:10:45):
Yeah, of course, thanks again for having me and looking
forward to the playoffs start next week.

Speaker 4 (01:10:49):
Absolutely no doubt. All right, there he is Christian Sippolini
bet MGM, Senior trading Manager. I'll tell you what it's like,
you know, going from FARV to Aaron Rodgers over here
we go from Chris into Isaac.

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Lowan with me I low with the latest.

Speaker 4 (01:11:03):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
But the Ayahwaska ready yet?

Speaker 6 (01:11:07):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
Maybe by the top of the hour.

Speaker 9 (01:11:09):
All right, Oh hey, guys, he might he might need
it by the end of tonight. On Sunday Night Football Brian,
the inactives for the six early games have just come out.
Of course, that's headlined by the NFC South Championship game
in a roundabout way between the Falcons and the Saints.

(01:11:31):
Carolina wins the NFC South with a Falcon victory, Tampa
Bay wins the NFC South if the Saints.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
Win or the game ends in a tie.

Speaker 9 (01:11:40):
Atlanta receiver Drake London, receiver Darnell Mooney, and tight end
Kyle Pitts are all active for the Falcons. They had
each been listed as questionable. Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik
willis inactive for their game at Minnesota because of hamstring
and right shoulder injuries. Clayton Tune will get the start
at quarterback. Jordan Love will serve as the backup. Vikings

(01:12:04):
running back Aaron Jones and tight end TJ. Hockinson both inactive.
Texans receiver Nico Collins and running back Nick Chubb both
inactive for their game against the Colts, And a quick
update from the Atlanta game, The Falcons just announced the
quarterback Kirk Cousins woke up ill this morning, but will

(01:12:27):
not have a game designation and will play today. That again,
just announced moments ago by Atlanta about their quarterback, Kirk
Cousins woke up with an illness today that he has
no game designation and he will play.

Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
By the way I low real fast if he plays
well and they win.

Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
Is this gonna be like the MJ flu game?

Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
You know?

Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Week eighteen, Cousins comes to play.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
What do you think the Kirk Cousins flu game.

Speaker 9 (01:12:54):
I will be calling around to all local pizzerias in
Atlanta to find out if they delivered a pizza to them.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Late on Saturday night.

Speaker 9 (01:13:03):
Speaking of late Saturday night, the Seattle Seahawks one at
San Francisco thirteen to three to claim the one seed
in the NFC. And perhaps the best perspective guys on
Sam Donald and the Seahawks capturing the one seed of
the NFC comes from a social media post by at
Zeke will nineteen eighty, who's a big fan of Donald's

(01:13:25):
former team, the Minnesota Vikings. Quote, It's just another kick
to my testicles that are already all purple from supporting
this team for the last thirty seven years hashtag skull
unquote guys back to you.

Speaker 4 (01:13:42):
There it is. That's all you need to know right there.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to kick Off, presented
by bet MGM. You know, I will tell you one
thing here from ILO's update that I find interesting. Malik
Willis is out the Packers backup quarterbacks. As Ilo said,
hammy shoulder. Remember he got hurt against the Ravens, just
throwing a pass and he was just like doubled over

(01:14:05):
in pain. And it's like, wow, it's crazy. What blows
my mind in this. I promise you this is not
a shot at Malik Willis or anything like that. But
you see this often in the NFL, where a starter
might be knocked out for a little bit of time,
the backup comes in and he's immediately injured as well.
You see this a lot. You saw it with what
Gardner Minshew came in for Mahomes and it was the

(01:14:26):
first drive.

Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
He's banged up. And it's not to say anything. This
isn't negative.

Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
Toward Malik Willis or Gardner Minshew or any of the
backups that get banged up. To me, it just blows
my mind and it really shows you how difficult it
is to remain a starter throughout the season. These guys
like Josh Allen who are banged up, he takes a
lot of punishment. You saw him limping around pretty good
against the Eagles last week. He's still starting game in

(01:14:51):
and game out. So it really stands out for the starters.
I used to call him sixteen dudes. You know where
it was like every year it was sixteen starts, the start,
sixteen starts. Now you gotta be seventeen dudes. But when
you see these seventeen dudes with the backups who get
banged up immediately, it's even more impressive that they make
it throughout that much of a gauntlet.

Speaker 6 (01:15:13):
It's because you're not game. You're not game shape. There's
a difference between practice and games, and you get into
games you're like, oh, oh boy, it's a little bit different.
Good point, yeah, And so your body is just not
ready for that yet. And then when you get in
and you play a couple of weeks and you get
beat up, but you're just not just physically not ready
for that when you wait till week fifteen to play.
I played my first game in week sixteen one year,

(01:15:36):
and it's just it's hard. Man, Like you just like, oh,
you haven't done it yet. You physically haven't done a
game yet. Your body doesn't know what it feels like.
And then you also you move differently, you have to
twitch differently. It's all different. It's just an upgrade of
skills that fast, and you gotta play, gotta play faster,

(01:15:56):
gotta play it stronger. Your body is not ready for it.
So then you get hurt.

Speaker 5 (01:16:00):
And like you said, yeah, so you're saying in practice, Jeff,
you don't get that those reps in practice on well, once.

Speaker 6 (01:16:05):
You get passed. Once you get passed, like week eight,
you're not even in pads.

Speaker 5 (01:16:09):
I got you.

Speaker 6 (01:16:09):
Like when I came, I was an older player, but
I got hurt in the preseason in twenty fourteen, all right,
And the first time I was back in pads was
the game I played in week twelve, because by the
time I came back to practice, we weren't bads anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:16:23):
Gotchachah interesting they talk about game shape all the time.

Speaker 6 (01:16:26):
Really, Then I got hurt the next game.

Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
Hey, there you go. All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger,
professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm
probably in no coming up next to prop it up.
That's right, the prop betting market Crack has a bunch
of plays circled. He'll share some with you. Coming up,
Jeff and I will have some plays as well. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM.

(01:16:50):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM. For over forty years, ty Rak has been
helping customers find the right tires for how what and
they drive ships fast and free, backed by free road
hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation,
tire rack dot Com the way tire buying should be.

(01:17:11):
And it is time for the Tirerack play of the day.

Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Heard, I'm kind of gaming Darnald under center long count,
turns hands to sharks, find some running room, bounces it
outside left.

Speaker 4 (01:17:21):
Here comes twenty fifteen cut.

Speaker 5 (01:17:23):
Back in sick tenth time touchdown Seahawks Zach Sharbonet from
twenty seven out his twelfth rushing touchdown of the season.

Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
There you go, complements of the Lamar Jackson radio network.
I'm sorry, the Seahawks radio network. Right there, that would
be Zach Sharbonet with a touchdown run. Seahawks win thirteen
to three. Huge win for them. Seattle clinches the one seed.
All right, with that, let's dive into this.

Speaker 5 (01:17:52):
Good drop it up. Don't player plays?

Speaker 4 (01:17:57):
All right, Bob Betts galore crack, I know your game
has always Week eighteen not for the faint of heart.
You're looking to pounce.

Speaker 5 (01:18:04):
What do you like today? Yeah, let's go with Stafford
under his passing yards. I think he might not play
the whole game. So Stafford under passing yards. Let's see,
the MGM number was two sixty three and a half.
I think it's too sixty one and a half. That's
I let's use that as a grade to sixty one
and a half Stafford under passing yards.

Speaker 6 (01:18:25):
This week is hard, as you mentioned, Brian, because we
don't know who's playing, who's not playing, and what level
of effort we're going to get. But we do know
the night game tonight that both teams have to win, right,
and the Steelers cannot pass the ball down the field.
And last week they did a poor job, I think
using their most explosive offensive player with his their backup
running back, which is with is Tandeth game. Well, he's
the guy that hasket the balls hands more often. I

(01:18:48):
like over four and a half receptions today. It's iced heavy,
but I think he is a big part of the
passing offense, which he was not last week. I think
it really cost them so game will over four and
a half receptions.

Speaker 4 (01:18:59):
All right, pan the one game they're just feeding them,
feeding them, feed them recently, you know. And then my
buddy had he needed one more gainwell catch against the
Browns and Rodgers was just like anybody but gainwell, you know,
I think they.

Speaker 5 (01:19:14):
Do.

Speaker 4 (01:19:14):
They have to. I like that. I'm gonna go with
Saints quarterback Tyler Shuck. I'm gonna go over fifteen and
a half rushing yards for a few reasons. Atlanta has
a really good rush. They've got a good pass rush.
They're number two in sacks this season. They only trailed
the Denver Broncos in sacks this season. Right, they took
a lot of heat for trading up in the first

(01:19:36):
round and getting a couple of dudes high in the draft.
They're just like, we can't rush the quarterback, like we
have the lowest sack numbers over the last decade. Plug
like we're fixing this right now, and it's it's made
a huge difference. They're number two in the league. They
got over fifty sacks this season. So I think Tyler
shuck without Chris Olave his main weapon, there are times

(01:19:56):
where the pass rush is gonna start to get home
and he's gonna tuck it and run. So I like
Tyler shuck over fifteen and a half. Let's go with
some who dad action with their quarterback hitting his rushing prop.

Speaker 6 (01:20:08):
So Saints win focks in Falcons win Panthersy.

Speaker 4 (01:20:13):
There you go, yep, all right, yeah, l I just
go because I get confused with when it's Falcons Saints,
I just go. You know, Falcons win Carolina in Falcons
Flus then Tampa hit Yeah crazy, That's why old It
comes down to that. Like Bryce Young said, now, I'm
not even gonna watch it. Would you not watch the

(01:20:35):
game because you're in that situation. You gotta watch it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
You gotta watch it.

Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
Then all right, coming up next, will a winning streak actually.

Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
Turn out to be a bad thing?

Speaker 5 (01:20:46):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:20:47):
What is going on?

Speaker 4 (01:20:47):
Welcome in, Happy Sunday, Happy Week eighteen to you. Heck,
happy New Year to you. As what we are less
than an hour away from kickoff here, and it's gonna
be crazy. It's week eighteen. I got a question for you, guys.
I got many questions. One is, who's betting an underdog today?
If you've seen this live move line movement, my gosh,

(01:21:08):
like the Bills are up to twelve point favorites, Denver
up to fourteen point favorites, Like there's the Vikings up
to twelve and a half point favorites. Like who's betting
an underdog today? That one of these underdogs gonna cover?
A handful of them are gonna cover, Like who's betting now?

Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
You have to I'm going with the ninety percent Arizona.
I see fourteen and a half here.

Speaker 6 (01:21:29):
I have to go.

Speaker 5 (01:21:31):
God protects Christian, not even the book makers, Christian.

Speaker 4 (01:21:35):
Let's go to Kobe Brissette. Let's go. Yeah, sure, I
hear you.

Speaker 6 (01:21:39):
That game though, feels like even like you can wait
and get that live. I bet like twenty one and.

Speaker 5 (01:21:45):
A half of the rim You're probably could probably right.

Speaker 6 (01:21:47):
Get up big to pull all those stars.

Speaker 5 (01:21:50):
Yeah, Jeff, I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:21:51):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 5 (01:21:53):
That's good.

Speaker 6 (01:21:54):
Yeah, I'll be flying today, So I don't I can't
really do that one.

Speaker 5 (01:21:56):
We're going. Now, this guy's always going all over the world.

Speaker 6 (01:21:59):
Only I go to your work on Wednesday Thursday. But
we're going. We're recording tomorrow. So because it's College World Playoff,
is is Thursday Friday.

Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
Ducks. Here do you have?

Speaker 6 (01:22:09):
Right? So here's the thing. So I on the podcast,
I wear these hockey jerseys, these Organ Duckt hockey jerseys
that I have. So here's the one I'm gonna wear tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
Let's see. Let me let me check this out. Okay,
there you go.

Speaker 6 (01:22:22):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (01:22:22):
Yeah, I wear the green one.

Speaker 6 (01:22:24):
I wear the green and the yellow. I wore this
one the other day in previewing the the Texas Tech game.
So I have a black one, a green one, and
a yellow on. I'm gonna keep the yellow one going.
So we won the other day, so we'll keep this going.
Nice A little hockey sweater.

Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
Right, nice, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (01:22:36):
So, oh, there's no thing I am a I'm a
hockey I'm a hockey fan. I'm an Organ fan. And
then the I co host with Chris Flica the Bear,
and he's a Miami grad. So Miami grad Orgon grad.
If we get to play each other, on January. Here's
the here's the question I have for you, guys. You're ready.
So Oregon plays in Atlanta on Friday. Okay, I live

(01:22:59):
four hours from ye. The game is at seven thirty.
I could just drive Friday. I mean not not not
a big sweat come back Saturday I miss. I'll miss
my daughter's basketball game Saturday morning. That's about it. It's
all miss because a part of you doesn't want to drive.
We're gonna lose. I just don't want to go to
the game. We're gonna lose, you know what I mean.
And it feels like if I just can hold out

(01:23:22):
and not go, no game, I'm going to be there.

Speaker 4 (01:23:26):
Man, you gotta be You gotta be there and sport
your ducks in your hockey jersey. It's a that's around
the block.

Speaker 6 (01:23:32):
No hockey jersey, my hockey jersey for that. I mean,
I feel like I should go. The problem is I
have no no one else is going. It's so it's
five hours from Oregon. Like no one else is going,
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
I would drive from Indiana to meet you there in Atlanta,
Like Atlanta's nothing.

Speaker 6 (01:23:48):
The Indiana fans are going to be there and they
were there. They're gonna a lot of Huger fans will
be there. There was there was not a lot of
organ fans in Miami. And it's so far away, and
they go, if we win, we go back to Miami,
Like it's insane that our three games are Miami, Atlanta, Miami.
We could play Dallas or in Phoenix. Like, no, it
has to be the furthest places away from where we

(01:24:08):
actually live. So I'm debating. I don't know, man, I
do so much travel. I don't know. I don't know.
I haven't made it.

Speaker 4 (01:24:15):
You'll go see the Ducks. Who did you see them?
It's one of the first games again, But Bill pop
tech you who'd they play? Who they played?

Speaker 6 (01:24:22):
State?

Speaker 4 (01:24:23):
They played Montana State. It's a resume building in the
semi finals against you.

Speaker 6 (01:24:28):
Well, Montana State wins tomorrow, it's a resume builder for us.
But not win by more than ten and a half
points for Crack. They win by nine points. I win,
Crack wins. Everyone's happy. That's a perfect nine or ten.
That's a perfect number for us. So yeah, I haven't
made my mind that yet. I got a text people
over the other day about tickets and stuff and and whatnot.
I don't know. I don't know my coast. I mentioned

(01:24:49):
Barrett going on, he's fine to Phoenix to watch Miami
play Old Miss? Did you do these regionally? Like should
they put Miami Old Miss?

Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
Like in they put it in the home stadium of
the team with the higher seed. Is what they should do?

Speaker 6 (01:25:04):
Which is what which is what Dan Lanny argued for right,
and the champions should be the Rose every year.

Speaker 4 (01:25:10):
Absolutely, I totally agree with that. And as far as
Orange Bowl, if he has the bowl, it's like Paul,
they just put it out to pasture, man, like, it's
not good for college football anymore. It does not benefit
college football to keep those bowl games home stadiums. That's
where the juice is. That's what college How often do
you watch an NFL game and you're like, it's like

(01:25:31):
a college atmosphere, Like it's held in such high est
them because it should.

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
It matters.

Speaker 4 (01:25:36):
You can feel it. You can't feel it in a
neutral stadium. It's terrible, man, put those bowl games out
to pasture.

Speaker 6 (01:25:43):
Except the good ones were actually good though, like like
like the the ones were featuring good teams and it
being good games. Someone like Southern Miss and Utah Stadius,
right right, right, Well that's.

Speaker 5 (01:25:52):
What I mean though.

Speaker 4 (01:25:53):
It's like, hey, if if the Orange Bowl is like
we're used to having premier teams and now we're gonna
have like secondary teams. No thing was like, well then
buy Orange Bowl. See you like, no more Orange Bowl.
That's what I say, Like, if you don't want to
play ball, then get out, go away, dissolve. That's what
I think.

Speaker 6 (01:26:11):
I understand that. But I figure out, like what I
want to do Friday, mister miss Saturday morning with with with.
I have to call Scott and be like, I can't
be there Saturday for the six am show.

Speaker 5 (01:26:22):
Probably not, It's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
I'm sure it's a good hang with aunt, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:26:26):
I I don't know, man, I just like watching from home.
There's a comfort just sitting at home. You have your
own couch, your own TV, your.

Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
Own facilities, like the energy of being there.

Speaker 6 (01:26:39):
I've been a two games this year. I've been at
two games this year already.

Speaker 4 (01:26:42):
Yeah, and you saw him play an FCS team.

Speaker 6 (01:26:44):
That's on Northwestern.

Speaker 5 (01:26:47):
Two teams And have you been to any of the
Panthers games down the block four miles away, Jeff, I
don't even know what you.

Speaker 6 (01:26:54):
Do something on Sunday morning that kind of precludes me
from getting to a lot of the games.

Speaker 5 (01:26:57):
Well, did they played other games?

Speaker 6 (01:26:59):
They played other it's tough to they play.

Speaker 3 (01:27:01):
Did they ever play in the four pm window at home.

Speaker 5 (01:27:06):
Or the primetime games? I don't know. They had to
get a primetime game at home this year?

Speaker 4 (01:27:10):
No? Uh no? Think so yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:27:13):
Really yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:27:15):
Do you play one Thursday game? But it have to
it doesn't have to be at home. I probably would.
I'll probably go next Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
They were on the road at San Francisco Monday night.

Speaker 6 (01:27:24):
That was the only I think if if they win
the division, will be that first game Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:27:30):
Probably, yeah, yeah, I might go that ear window team.

Speaker 6 (01:27:36):
That'd be fun to bring to alex game.

Speaker 4 (01:27:38):
There you go.

Speaker 5 (01:27:38):
Isn't that great to bring your kid to a game
like that? Would be a wonderful play atmosphere.

Speaker 6 (01:27:44):
Maybe I'd bring my son with me to Atlanta. That's
the other option, if he comes with me. The seven
thirty games, So the time's not a problem. The probably
not the problem. The last time we went to a
game in Atlanta, we lost forty nine to three.

Speaker 3 (01:27:55):
So it was Georgia, right, Georgia by Georgia.

Speaker 6 (01:27:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was disappointed.

Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
Was quarterbacking that game? Was that Bess was.

Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Uh, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:28:07):
It was bow Knicks for us.

Speaker 4 (01:28:08):
No, it was before Beck is before back.

Speaker 6 (01:28:11):
It was it was the Rams drafted them the they
won the championship that year.

Speaker 4 (01:28:17):
Who's the other the Bennett that's in Bennett? Gotcha?

Speaker 6 (01:28:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:28:23):
Yeah, I went.

Speaker 4 (01:28:24):
I went to see the national title game when the Dogs,
when Georgia beat Alabama and that was the first title
for Georgia in a long long time, right, And I
sat among a bunch of Georgia fans.

Speaker 5 (01:28:36):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (01:28:36):
Man, Like the kickoff, I love the I don't know
what they yell, but it's like, you know, like it's
kind of like Notre Dame. They go oh irish, you know,
I feel that right, but they do this something similar
with George. I don't know what they yell, but it's
just like oh, like uh like they say something like

(01:28:58):
go dogs or what. I don't know what they say,
but then they like sick them and then they're like
they're all barking. It's amazing. You don't get that at home, Like,
screw the replays. You gotta feel what it's like.

Speaker 5 (01:29:11):
To be there, man, But I.

Speaker 6 (01:29:13):
Also get to just sit at home.

Speaker 5 (01:29:15):
So I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:29:16):
Well, I gotta I gotta make I gotta figure it out.
I gotta figure out. If I was going with someone,
it would be a lot easier, but I might. You know,
no one once we went to this game last week,
they're not going to in the next game.

Speaker 4 (01:29:26):
Yeah, all right, let's get some NFL games in here,
because we got who dat? We got the Saints at
the Falcons. Falcons right now up to four point favorites. Again,
who's betting underdogs? I don't know, Like, seemingly no one
right now. It's just the favorites are taking money, it
seems like for the most part here. But I did
mention it's a sub story, right, But is a winning

(01:29:48):
streak actually a bad thing for the Falcons head coach
Raheem Morris because they could win another game and get
to eight and nine and it's a three way tie
atop the NFC South and Atlanta has no chance to
make the playoffs. But do you think management, Well, it's
one of two ways. You could look at it and say, hey,
we came on down the stretch. That's good.

Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
That's a good sign.

Speaker 4 (01:30:09):
For maybe we can build upon this, or would management
look at this and be like, why have we not
won this cesspool of a division? Like we've got the
tell we've got arguably the most talent of any of
these teams in our division, and yet we're playing and
it's for the right for either Carolina or Tampa to go.
We have no chance? How are we in this position?

(01:30:29):
And maybe they look to go in a different direction.
How do you think management is going to look at this?

Speaker 6 (01:30:34):
Depends that they like Raheem Morris or not. Because if
you go eight to nine don't win the division, you
think you look at your season like, what what do
we do wrong? How does this possible? How is this?
How do we eight nineine one division? If you go
seven and ten, it's you know you could I mean
guess that's worse obviously, but at least you don't feel
that way about where you stand right now. I just

(01:30:59):
this is not a great year for coaching candidates. If
you look at the list, it's not a great coaching
candidate list. Now, of course that doesn't mean there's not
a good coaches out there, but it's not an inspiring
list of for coaches. But like, what do you what's
the most you get from Raheem Morris? Are you getting
a playoff winning coach? It struck me as a playoff
winning coach? Does he like a long term playoff winner?
Like thinking about the dynamic coaches that we see that

(01:31:22):
are routinely making themselves playoff appearances every year. You don't
fit that bill, right, I just don't. I don't don't
see that from him. So maybe you keep them because
there's no better options, assuming he's certainly fair and you
say the injuries, we had a quarterback and and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (01:31:36):
But I.

Speaker 6 (01:31:39):
I would explore other options. But I don't know whose
option are because it is not a great year, I
think for coaching candidates.

Speaker 2 (01:31:46):
M H.

Speaker 4 (01:31:47):
I think also with this game, Krack is Bjon Robinson
just went ballistic last week against the Rams, and that's
got to be the focus of the Saints defense, right,
You got to focus on slowing him down. Obviously easier
said and done, but I think Bijon going crazy last
week could be a good thing for the Saints this week.
They have to slow him down. He's gonna be a priority,

(01:32:08):
it's gonna be a focal point. And if they can
do it, that'll obviously help the Saints chances a lot.
The other part of that is that they're guys that
were questionable are going. As Ilo said, You're gonna see
Drake London, You're gonna see movie, You're gonna see Kyle Pitts.
So there are a lot of weapons with that Falcons offense.
So even if you do hold Bijon Robinson in relative check,

(01:32:29):
you're not gonna stop them. But they still have weapons
to get this win. Yeah, this is this is real.

Speaker 5 (01:32:34):
Tears crying left and some I don't want to tell
you what's called. Like, I have another set of props.
I'm like, do I send them to the guys.

Speaker 6 (01:32:43):
We're on air?

Speaker 4 (01:32:44):
Yeah, yes, I'm crying.

Speaker 5 (01:32:47):
I'm actually crying because we're talking about all right, let
me get to the Saints Falcons. Oh I got this
list though, I want to.

Speaker 10 (01:32:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:32:54):
Yeah, there's just great, great information like like coming out
like right now in the Minnesota game. There's lots of
great bets. What do I tell them on air? Let's
tell them all right, let's go. I'm sorry and I'll
go to the Saints in a second. I'm like, no,
there's so many different things because that they're under team
props at the Minnesota first sack, Minnesota first touchdown, Minnesota

(01:33:16):
have last possession of the game, Minnesota last team to
score in the first half. There's so many Minnesota props
that I was just giving.

Speaker 4 (01:33:23):
I'm crying.

Speaker 5 (01:33:24):
I'm like, how am I supposed to give these out? Like,
I'm just like, all right, let me just tell you.
This is my thing on the Saints real quick, all right.
We talked about this earlier as one of those weird
situations that decides if the Panthers or Bucks winning division.
I expect both of these teams to play loose and
take chances that they really have nothing to lose in
this one. Falcons are definitely gonna playing better football, but

(01:33:45):
the Saints haven't improven throughout the year, so it's really
anyone's game. That's my little take on that. And now
I'm going back to this list I sent you guys
during the break. I sent you guys a list too,
because of situations, and it's just like we're on air
all these hot I get really good, good information. Obviously,
you see we kill it all year long. So that's

(01:34:05):
just some of them. But someone in the Atlanta game too,
like if you Atlanta. If you're gonna go cousins under,
then of course you're gonna go some of the receivers under. Like,
there's so many things that come out of the locker
room and from Beat reporters. So again I apologize for
not paying the close close attention. Uh I did give
the Saints Falcons though. Yeah, but I'm gonna send this

(01:34:28):
on break for you guys first.

Speaker 6 (01:34:29):
First sack, you believe it or not. I can read
a text message and also talk on the same Really,
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
Want to throw you off. I know Scott's listening saying,
what do you guys doing gambling?

Speaker 6 (01:34:38):
I mean, we are at the MGM show, so I
would imagine that Gambley would be very important. I've not
played the first sack marker I bet MGM before, so
I'm very excited to find this market.

Speaker 5 (01:34:47):
Yeah, this is pretty interesting.

Speaker 6 (01:34:48):
I'd imagine that I played the other night with Miami
in Ohio State. I played first Sack. I was like
plus one twenty five for Miami, which I thought was
insane considering their their their defensive line. But I look,
there's many ways to play these games, right, And you
look at a team who's trying to play like the
Vikings and you can see that see that number there,
So yeah, I mean these are these are like great, yeah,

(01:35:11):
these are awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:35:12):
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, just just good good information
coming out of the locker rooms. And you know what,
and I say out of the locker rooms, it's not
inside information. It's coming from reporters. It's coming from you know,
people that you know. This is this very very scary week.
It's a very week that you don't want to hurt
your players for the playoffs or maybe the incentive wise,

(01:35:33):
like Christian said, a great thing. Christian said that it's
already baked in the line. He used those words. That
was my old words from two decades ago. Of course,
the incentives are baked in the line. So everyone's saying
like like I had some guys text me last night,
really nice kids, though, Hey crack, you know you gotta
go over here because this guy needs the no kid

(01:35:53):
and kid. I know that I'm ready, as I swear
to is the text. Please. I hope he's not listening
to the show. Hey Bill, I'm taking everything I can
find on Michael Wilson. He's at sixty five and a
halfening he's ninety three, for a thousand yards. We're set
that he's aware of the number and hopes to get it.
He'll be repeppered, of course he will. But that's in
the line. This is that's I didn't even bet, and

(01:36:15):
I do hope he wins. I'm not saying that. I'm
just like a lot of people try to tell you
things and it's uh, sometimes it's it's it's just kind
of fun. That's it's kind of fun. That's all.

Speaker 3 (01:36:24):
Oh no, yeah, good And we got a show going
on and that's beautiful.

Speaker 5 (01:36:29):
Right.

Speaker 6 (01:36:29):
Hey man, hey man, there's there's there's always miney you
make crack. I'm looking for these numbers here and the.

Speaker 5 (01:36:35):
Yeah, it might not be easy. This is not player
prop tuck we normally play. But I'm betting them all
the ones I just sent you it. It's not from
my not from my great prop source and my great prop.

Speaker 4 (01:36:46):
Guy back up, like your side piece proper, this is
this is.

Speaker 5 (01:36:49):
A side piece. No, No, he's a winner. He's a winner.
He's not the guy that works for me that that's
like number one in the world. But he's a winner
for sure.

Speaker 4 (01:36:54):
So yeah, very nice.

Speaker 5 (01:36:55):
And I was debating when to send it to you.
And we're going over in the Saints game, and I
just started crying and laugh and saying, look at us, Jesus, Hey,
we're real though. We got real winning sports betters on
this show. It's very hard to find in social media
and media on shows nationwide. Trust me, there's there's nothing
like our show Countdown to kickoff on Sunday morning.

Speaker 4 (01:37:15):
Sure, very nice, awesome stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:37:17):
There he is.

Speaker 4 (01:37:18):
He's a Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper, emotional about props.
I mean, this is how deep in the game he is. Right,
he's shed tears about you know, do I give these
guys props live on the air. That's where he's coming from.
We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, debating if
he should drive four hours to see his Ducks play
in the semi finals. Unbelievable, man, I just like I

(01:37:39):
just like I'm saying, how to potato, You've become like,
what's happening with your life? Jeff?

Speaker 6 (01:37:44):
I'm going to York today.

Speaker 4 (01:37:45):
I leave.

Speaker 6 (01:37:46):
I do leave my house. I just don't know if
I want to leave it to go to Atlanta. I'll
make some calls. I don't call it athletic department today. Okay,
I'll call the coach and see if they give me
a ticket.

Speaker 4 (01:37:54):
Okay, yeah, okay, good, I like it. You know, dial
him up. I'm pribably to know.

Speaker 3 (01:37:58):
Hey, all season law.

Speaker 4 (01:38:00):
Bet MGM's offering you a second chance on your first
touchdown bet. When a customer places a wager on a
first touchdown score bet and he doesn't score first, but
he scores second, BETMGM will return one hundred percent of
their stakeback in cash. All right, Coming up next, there's
always a major curveball in week eighteen without fail.

Speaker 3 (01:38:20):
What's the major curveball today? We'll compare notes.

Speaker 4 (01:38:24):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by
bet MGM. If you missed anything on today's show, you'll
want to catch the podcast. Just search Fox Sports Radio
wherever you get your podcasts. Right after the show, today's
pod will be posted. Be sure to follow it, rate
it five stars, and you can even provide a review. Again.

(01:38:47):
Just search Fox Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts,
and you'll find today's full show posted right after we
get off the air, Okay, before we get to the
Sunday night showdown between the Ravens and the Steelers, just
a broad view, right, like Week eighteen is always random
and there's always always always a major curve ball. Do

(01:39:09):
you see a major curveball before the games kickoff? Do
you see a big underdog winning a game outright? You know,
like maybe there's a ripple effect where there's just this
unforeseen thing that happens and it swings a division, it
swings the playoff seed.

Speaker 3 (01:39:26):
Is there anything on your radar?

Speaker 6 (01:39:29):
I mean, the only thing they could be was the
Chargers upsetting the Broncos. Yeah, yeah, otherwise there's nothing else.
There's nothing today that would be harmful to anyone. I mean,
if I mean it gets I guess Seria is basically
the AFC, Right, It's that the Jacksonville loses there, Houston
wins yep, and the Chargers beat the Broncos. Like those
are those are the scenarios in that scenario. Actually, Denver

(01:39:51):
still gets the one seed. I think, no, Denver.

Speaker 4 (01:39:56):
Well, if Denver loses in the Patriots win the past, yes.

Speaker 6 (01:39:59):
You're right, well, okay, you're right, So like it's just yeah,
that can happen, certainly, But the Chargers are resting everyone,
so so like that would be shocking results if they're
resting everyone and go beat the Broncos. But these I
don't think that's happening. I mean, the Charger are called
like the Titans with their starters in Could they be Jacksonville?

Speaker 4 (01:40:20):
I mean sure, I mean it's the NFL. Have happened happen,
but it could happen.

Speaker 6 (01:40:27):
I also think the funniest thing to happen today is
the Raiders being the Chiefs on Pete Carroll's last days.
The Raiders cuse and losing the number one pick, which
is certainly possible in this situation.

Speaker 5 (01:40:40):
Definitely possible. Lots of lots of the Raiders today, by
the way, yeah, two different guys, I know, like the Raiders.

Speaker 6 (01:40:47):
The Chiefs are playing like the practice squad today. Do
you think the Chiefs the Chiefs could forfeit this game.
I think they would consider it, well, we're good, we're fine.

Speaker 5 (01:40:57):
Like so then you kind of agree, then, Jeff with
the four and a half.

Speaker 6 (01:41:00):
Oh yeah, let's just move on to twenty twenty six,
like where this season is done.

Speaker 5 (01:41:06):
I think these Raiders are terrible.

Speaker 4 (01:41:08):
Oh I know, I know, I know.

Speaker 6 (01:41:10):
So there's an idea that there's an idea that like,
you know, like they're playing because like I think Travis
Kelson needs X amount of ARSK over a thousand again
for the whatever straight season in a row. But no,
I would never mind, it's not gonna happen. He's way
more than that. So or like he needs something, like
there's some number he needed. I think he got it
last week. He's alredight hundred again. So there's nothing, mean,
there's nothing to play for. What do you what are

(01:41:31):
you playing for for Kansas City at least Raiders. I
know you might feel like you need something out of
this game if you're pet character trying to save.

Speaker 5 (01:41:38):
Your job, but it's yeah, uh, what do you think, crack?
Do you see major curveballs? Listen and any Do I
see any major curveballs?

Speaker 4 (01:41:48):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:41:48):
But anyone. I'm telling you again, I've said it all season,
I've said it many years on this this spot, in
this radio show. Any team can win any team, right,
including these big double digit dogs. I mean, look at
the double digit favors today, Minnesota, Houston, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, New England.

(01:42:09):
I can't believe Buffalo I'm not done. We keep on
going rams Denver. I cannot believe all these double digit
favors today. I can't lay a dollar on any of them,
especially at this point right now, when you have this
line that has been constantly as we speak right now,
Jacksonville just went to thirteen and a half. I mean,
these games just keep going up. There's no dog money

(01:42:32):
coming in at all. And again I'll say it, God
protects these books, making I watch with the spread, with
the spread, watch to see what happens here today.

Speaker 4 (01:42:43):
We'll see how many let me see, let me count,
how many double digit favorites we have. We've got one, six, four, five, six, seven. Okay,
of these seven, how many double digit dogs cover? You
got the Packers, you got the Titans, three and four.

Speaker 5 (01:43:00):
For the sportsbooks, I'm almost tempted.

Speaker 6 (01:43:03):
Just a round robin parlay then just for fun.

Speaker 5 (01:43:06):
No, look what I did, Look what I did.

Speaker 6 (01:43:10):
Don't don't continue the good thing or or just money
just money line them like just kind of like.

Speaker 5 (01:43:16):
Yeah, that's a lottery ticket if you put off lottery.

Speaker 6 (01:43:20):
If I single bet, single wager on all the dogs,
and you just need to to win to basically make
a ton of money ran like honestly, one good one
like if the Titans win it plus five point fifty
driver is my day. But obviously I'm.

Speaker 5 (01:43:34):
Gonna do that.

Speaker 3 (01:43:36):
So yeah, I uh go fire money line on all
of them. How about this?

Speaker 4 (01:43:41):
How many? Okay, if you went if you went underdog,
you're not gonna get rich, right, But if you just
went underdog on the seven double digit dogs?

Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
Yeah, do you think you make money or lose money?

Speaker 6 (01:43:51):
To think I lose money?

Speaker 4 (01:43:53):
You think you lose money?

Speaker 6 (01:43:54):
Yeah? So here's so, someone's gonna do the parlay, right,
the Bengals, the Vikings, the Jaguars, the Texans, the Bills,
you know, the Broncos Rams Like.

Speaker 3 (01:44:08):
You're right, someone's gonna screw it.

Speaker 6 (01:44:09):
Up, Patriots. Someone will screw that up, I think. Unless
I want to try it and do it really quick
and see what happens. I will report.

Speaker 4 (01:44:16):
Back next whether.

Speaker 6 (01:44:20):
Anything cracks laughing, but he knows. I'm tempted to do
something more than.

Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
I have fun as long as you're doing it for listen,
I get through the white towel. And many many months ago,
I said, if you've bet one hundred dollars on a
straight game, I have no problem when you're putting five
dollars on a round ram I put.

Speaker 6 (01:44:36):
All those together. Jeez. Okay, So Bengals, Vikings, Jaguars, Texans, Bills, Broncos, Pictures,
money line.

Speaker 3 (01:44:44):
Parlay, seven legs, Texans, Texans.

Speaker 6 (01:44:48):
Yeah they're okay, right, they're they're eleven point favorites. Right, yeah,
So what do you think that pays seven legs? Money
line parlay? What do you think it.

Speaker 4 (01:44:57):
Pays seven leg money line? These are all double digits.

Speaker 6 (01:45:02):
I have to have the rams to so eight leg parlay?
Now eight eight? Well the Bengals. The Bengals are nine
and a half, so they're not double digits yet.

Speaker 3 (01:45:10):
But when you that many teams, I don't know, it's.

Speaker 5 (01:45:14):
A plus one.

Speaker 4 (01:45:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:45:18):
Yeah, it's under two to one, close plus that.

Speaker 5 (01:45:26):
That's the most disgusting thing I've heard.

Speaker 6 (01:45:28):
It's so bad. It's so bad. I'm obviously not doing it,
but like that is that is that is bad? Like
that is really bad.

Speaker 4 (01:45:38):
The other way, what would the payout be if you
take all double seven hundred million out. I don't think
the seven hundred million dollars.

Speaker 6 (01:45:45):
It would limit me immediately for that. I mean, I'll
put it in for you guys and bet MGM.

Speaker 5 (01:45:49):
So it is uh jesus.

Speaker 6 (01:45:55):
Geez ready okay, ready.

Speaker 4 (01:45:57):
Big of you do it probably here have it up
at least plus.

Speaker 6 (01:46:02):
Uh two four seven five seven one nine zero zero,
so two hundred and that's what that's.

Speaker 3 (01:46:10):
That's an at you know, that's a two million one.

Speaker 6 (01:46:14):
That's great. It's a two point five million to one.

Speaker 5 (01:46:17):
It's like a s Rutztein and casino. When the guy
hits three Jack Patrick, it cannot happen. The numbers in
the billions. It can.

Speaker 6 (01:46:24):
Yeah. So if you pay bet one dollar, you'd make
two point four million, that's right right now on that.

Speaker 3 (01:46:31):
So let's put ten bucks on that thing, right, Yeah, that's.

Speaker 6 (01:46:34):
Not gonna puts.

Speaker 5 (01:46:35):
You're gonna win. You win the company you get, you
get bet MGM, you.

Speaker 6 (01:46:42):
Get bet MGM.

Speaker 4 (01:46:43):
Yeah, Christian reports to you if you win that, you know. Yeah, sure,
but that that is that's powerful.

Speaker 6 (01:46:49):
I mean people are gonna chase these. I would I
wonder what the old, the old, the old offshore got
you on that sixteen point t s, what the what
the payouts would be on that that old company no
longer around and you've got sixteen point t's crack on
these games. I mean it's it's like we're gonna be
done obviously in thirty minutes, right, Like I don't we

(01:47:10):
rush downstairs get the Sunday ticket package on? And today
I'm like, I guess I watch Falcon Saints. I mean,
we have a lot of you know, prop bets like
all between us, but there's not like a game I'm
rushing down to watch this.

Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
You know this.

Speaker 6 (01:47:24):
I guess that the Bengals minus seven and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:47:26):
I'll tell you what, wait for all of it. I
can't wait for all the grossness of Week eighteen. I
can't wait for all the shenanigans. I'm fully embracing Week eighteen.

Speaker 5 (01:47:36):
And for what it is.

Speaker 3 (01:47:37):
It's just the most disgusting week on the NFL sketch.

Speaker 6 (01:47:40):
We're gonna We're gonna miss it in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:47:42):
I have to watch.

Speaker 3 (01:47:44):
You got it, you gotta. This is the time before
we hibernate.

Speaker 4 (01:47:47):
I watch. If it's the Liberty Bowl, I'll take it.
If it's the Armed Forces Bowl, great, give me more.
This is the time to bone up before you hibernate.
That's how good bull season.

Speaker 6 (01:47:56):
Had a good Bowl season, picked the right side then
you know, then college basket. I had Senio State last
night minus three and a half. They're up twenty one
and a half and and don't cover in three overtimes.
So I just can't do that sport. I just can't
do it.

Speaker 4 (01:48:08):
I just can't.

Speaker 6 (01:48:09):
I can't put myself to do it.

Speaker 4 (01:48:10):
I know what this was.

Speaker 5 (01:48:11):
This was fun, guys, doing this last hour was pretty fun.
A lot of tears. I mean, just to see what's
going now now again and right now again. I thought
I figured Pittsburgh is gonna be getting the money tonight,
you know, and now again. Baltimore just got hit again.
What are they doing? You can't like three and a
half when you could have late three all week? My god, those.

Speaker 6 (01:48:34):
People are just are just I you don't get a
four by kickoff, I'm waiting. I'm waiting to bet on
the Steelers. I just I just wait.

Speaker 5 (01:48:40):
You'll get a fourth. Oh and you're gonna get a four.
I can see it.

Speaker 4 (01:48:42):
You will, you'll get it. I know what you also get.
You'll get an Isaac low and crown. You eat a
four and raven Steelers.

Speaker 5 (01:48:49):
I almost forgot about it.

Speaker 4 (01:48:50):
You're gonna get a perfect ten with Isaac what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:48:53):
I low, I thank you fellas.

Speaker 9 (01:48:55):
The NFC South Championship will be decided starting at the
top of the hour by the result of the Falcons
Saints game. The Carolina Panthers will win the NFC South
if the Falcons win, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win
the NFC South, if the Saints win, or if the
game ends in a tie. America's feelings about all this

(01:49:16):
perhaps best summarized on social media.

Speaker 1 (01:49:19):
By a post we referred to earlier. At Roger posted.

Speaker 9 (01:49:24):
The following quote, It's so stupid that a game between
two eliminated teams will decide who makes the NFL playoffs.
Clearly they need a better system, like having twelve athletic
directors sit in a fancy hotel ballroom and decide which
teams get in and one must be Alabama unquote, again
the tweet of the day by at Roger. Anyway, the

(01:49:46):
Falcons announced earlier today the quarterback Kirk Cousins woke up
ill this morning but will play. Falcons tied end Kyle Pitts,
as well as receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney, are
all active. They'd each been listed as questionable. Green Bay
Packers quarterback Malik willis inactive for their game at Minnesota
because of hamstring and right shoulder injuries. Clayton Tune will

(01:50:07):
get the start. A quarterback Jordan Love will service the backup.
Vikings running back Aaron Jones and tight end TJ. Hawkinson
both inactive. Houston Texans receiver Nico Collins and running back
Nick Chubb both inactive for their game today against the
Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 4 (01:50:23):
Guys, Back to you, Thank You, I lo it is

We got the Ravens at the Steelers right now as
we speak. The Steelers are three and a half point
home underdogs here and Jeff, I know your feelings on
this one, crack. I'm interested to hear what you think.
But you think and Mike Tomlin special written all over

(01:51:07):
this thing, and a little bit of a little Steelers
voodoo right here, right man, It's Taylor made for some
Steelers voodoo here just when you count them out, No,
DK metcalf. They gross it up. They discussed it up
enough and somehow they might win this thing out right,
but keep it within the number.

Speaker 3 (01:51:23):
I can see it. I can see it with the
black and gold here, you guys.

Speaker 6 (01:51:26):
Sixteen thirteen, just some mucked up Steelers ugly game where yeah,
ball'swell hits six field goals. You're like, what is happening
right now? Derrick Henry has has an untimely fumble. Yeah,
the thing is, look, Lamar is is gonna play in
this game. I'm claud he's playing, so we don't have
to talk about this this anymore. But he has also

(01:51:46):
just not been very good. That's the last two months
of the seas. So I'm gonna pull these numbers up
just to have them for you guys, because you know,
the Since week ten, Lamar Jackson ranks thirtieth in the
NFL complete percentage, it's fifty seven percent, five passing touchdowns,
four past his passer rating twenty eighth. He has five
toal touchdowns. He's not running the ball, he's not pass

(01:52:08):
the ball. He's not been a good quarterback. He's been
hurt and beat up. And that's why they's why people
talk about Hulley having to play in this game. Pittsburgh
not great. But t J Watts back, I do think
they're gonna have to find ways to get the ball
in Cannon Gamebell's hands to create some explosive play. So
he's about k They just don't have a chance. But man,
this just screams ugly game. Like they know they're gonna

(01:52:29):
run the football. They no, Lamar can't run as much,
not as mobile, not very accurate at the moment. And
this is ugly muck up game. I think both these
teams are not very good. You know, people Brian keep
hearing this, watch out for the Ravens.

Speaker 4 (01:52:41):
Oh gosh, watch.

Speaker 10 (01:52:43):
How many?

Speaker 6 (01:52:44):
How many teams that we that we think are the
best or no one wants to play? No, they never
win a playoff game?

Speaker 5 (01:52:50):
What do we do?

Speaker 7 (01:52:51):
So?

Speaker 6 (01:52:52):
I I I think that this one I don't take
the points, Matt, I'll put it like that. I like this.
See was about to pay wards here.

Speaker 5 (01:53:01):
We basically have our first playoff game tonight. Let's call
it in prime time. Winner goes to the playoffs and
the loser stays home. Lamar Jackson has practiced all week
and looks like he will give it a go tonight.
But how healthy is he? How effectively be so? Lamar
is obviously better when he can use his legs and
not just be a pocket passer, so we'll see what
his mobility would be like early on in this game.

(01:53:23):
Ravens would would like nothing more to be able to
give the ball to Derek Henry thirty five times and
not have to count on Jackson as much. So we'll
see what happens there and for the Steelers. Can this
be Aaron Rodgers last NFL game?

Speaker 3 (01:53:37):
Well, you're right, Crack could be the NFL game outright?

Speaker 5 (01:53:41):
Could be it? Yeah, he's with out his top wide
out again. Ravens secondary bad most of the season, so
he should be able to get the ball downfield a
few times for me, maybe even often. I think it
actually should be a great end to the regular season tonight,
So it's a good game to watch.

Speaker 4 (01:53:57):
Yeah, that's that's my major question is how does Lamar play?

Speaker 7 (01:54:01):
Like?

Speaker 4 (01:54:02):
I don't think it's smart to start Huntley. I get
the argument for it, but it's like, if the argument is, well,
you know Huntley was there and they just gave the
ball to Derrick Henry a bunch of times, it's like, well,
they can do that with Lamar Jackson, right, they can
still give the ball to Derrick Henry a ton of times.
They're having success running the ball. That's what they're going
to do. You can still just run it and run

(01:54:22):
it and run it even if Lamar is in there.
And I would argue you have to honor Lamar even
though he's not healthy, even though he's not the dynamic
playmaker that he normally is, you still have to honor
the stress that he puts on a defense. You have
to honor what he's capable of. So I think just
that just the threat helps to break down a defense

(01:54:43):
with Lamar in there. My question though, is how does
he look. We've seen him numerous times this season, three
straight games no touchdowns. We saw him on Christmas Day
against the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (01:54:53):
I swear he was drunk.

Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
You hear these stories after someone's career is over. Like
I was drinking, I would expect Lamar to be like, oh,
hammered for that game, he was freaking terrible, like you, interceptions,
fumbles like it was brutal man. So I just wonder
after this time off and while he's been struggling to
his standards, which is normally very very high in the
regular season especially, I just wonder what he looks like

(01:55:16):
in this game and how well the Ravens are able
to run the football. But should be should be a
close game, I think, should be an interesting one, should
be a gross game, like Jeff said, is probably gonna
be in the teens. I think it has that written
all over it. It's just gonna be a divisional battle
for the AFC North Crown, and I think it's gonna

(01:55:37):
be gross city, but hopefully it'll be fun along the
way as well. All Right, We've got Bill Krachenberger, professional
sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian

Speaker 1 (01:56:55):
Ten nine minutes away.

Speaker 4 (01:56:57):
As we speak right now, keep it locked right here
on Fox Sports Radio. All right, we got some picks
to make. Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (01:57:04):
Five games against the spread.

Speaker 1 (01:57:07):
We call it all the Crack Challenge.

Speaker 4 (01:57:11):
All right, and we got boys to men today. We've
come to the end of the road. Man, this is it, Jeff,
is the last installment the regular season here with the
Crack Challenge.

Speaker 3 (01:57:19):
So got five picks. Make them count who you got today?

Speaker 6 (01:57:22):
I saw my record six hundred five hundred. I actually
thought it was gonna be sixteen hundred five hundred. So
it's about a year I've had. I can get near
five hundred, which I'll take, jeez, year, but better than nothing. Okay,
Saints plus four and Steelers plus three and a half?
Like those two I feel good by then you're just
choosing like which is the least stinky of the rest
of them? Oh buddy, yeah, I think the Patriots are

(01:57:49):
going to cover the thirteen and a half?

Speaker 4 (01:57:50):
You do, all right?

Speaker 6 (01:57:51):
I'll take the cass He's giant cows down the three interesting.
Oh boy, this is just not fun. I know, I
know it was humming and hauling. Here, give me the
Raiders plus four and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:58:11):
Okay, there you go all right, I get it.

Speaker 6 (01:58:13):
I'll just take the Bengals minus nine and a half.
I don't love it, but I do think they blow
the I think the Browns are just done for the year.
So those are my gotcha the favor of the week.

Speaker 4 (01:58:21):
Not bad, all right, So I'm gonna go correlated. Even
though we had a little bit of line movement, so
that's always fun here, right, We've got some line movement
that's not in our favor. So I'm gonna roll with
Jacksonville minus twelve and a half. Now, that did tick
down in my favor. Someone's actually betting an underdog today,

(01:58:42):
believe it or not. I will take Jacksonville to win
cover against Tennessee. I just think they're that much better.
And then correlated with that, I will take the Colts.
It's ticked down now, they're plus nine and a half,
but it's tied together. If Jacksonville's rolling their opponent, then
I I think the Texans are gonna rest their guys

(01:59:02):
and we could get a little backdoor cover action. I'm
gonna go with the Steelers. I'm with you on that, Jeff.
I'm also with you on who Dad. I'm going with
the Saints. Plus four and I'll go grow special, crack,
you know, give me Arizona plus fourteen. Give me them, right,
it's disgusting, but ninety percent of the money on the rams,
Like you have to. You gotta go with the books

(01:59:23):
in this one, right, So I'll take the cards. All right,
we got rapid fire.

Speaker 3 (01:59:26):
Let's do this rapid fire, all right, Crack, what's something
you like?

Speaker 5 (01:59:33):
Calvin Austen Steelers. He may be the number one wide
out over twenty three and a half yards tonight at
MGM Austin over twenty three and a half yard tonight.

Speaker 6 (01:59:43):
Nice?

Speaker 4 (01:59:43):
Anything else you like?

Speaker 5 (01:59:44):
Jeff?

Speaker 6 (01:59:45):
I mentioned that the game well over earlier. I would
look in that direction as well. And then I like
Miami over twenty seven and a half points again boldness.

Speaker 4 (01:59:59):
Okay, all right, put the points on the board, all right, cool,
I'm gonna go with Give me Jared Goff over two
forty six and a half passing yards against the barge.
I just don't respect your defense at all. I think
it is a shootout, all right, crack, No fancy intro.
What's your play of the day?

Speaker 5 (02:00:12):
I mean, cousins under he's sick. The guy's sick. Underpassing
yards to thirteen and a half to fifteen and a half.

Speaker 4 (02:00:18):
Here you go, all right, easy does it? Happy Week eighteen,
everybody enjoy it.
