Speaker 1 (00:01):
You don't listening to Fox Sports Radio. The trophy case
is empty. We'll get to that in just about a minute.
But right now it's time to say wake up America. Yes,
it is that time. It's Fox Football Sunday. He's probably no. Ma.
Andy Ferming a way up. Both coming to your live
and the Fox Spots Radio studio is brought to you
by Geico. Fifteen minutes can save you fifteen more on

(00:22):
car insurance. Visit Geico dot com for a free rate quote. Now,
it's my pleasure, my honor, my indeed pleasure underlined that
please to give you my partner, my friend, the brains
of the outfit, the one, the only hottest working man
and show business today. Brian, No, what's ther breakfast? Me?
How are you? You know what's for breakfast? I got

(00:43):
neutral grain bars over here. You know, I haven't tapped
into it yet. I think I'm going strawberry. But I
appreciate you asking, Andy Firman. It's great to be here
with you. I'm licking my wounds a little bit with
the Irish that came close, didn't get it done. You
c f went down, you know me. I loved that
Twitter as soon as the game was over. I looked
at my tweets. That's, oh my goodness, and that's what.

(01:03):
You're right there, You're right there, really, yeah, believe me,
I was right there. Yes, losing to one and two
pit you guys shut up. Yeah, you just continue that
drops over the pit, take that right. I don't know
even know where to go on a great day. Yes,

(01:25):
And I'll tell you what. As much as I love
the ball as you do, and I love football, I
love Sundays with NFL. I tell you what, I'm more
excited for Saturday because when I watched football, I usually
zoom into one game and we talk about all the
games usually here on Sundays, but there's one game you
really want to focus on, and there there's a couple
of does you know that as well as I do?

(01:45):
But on college football Saturday, I mean, you're jumping all
over the place. And then one thing that I bothered
me more than anything else last night watching the Note
Youre Dame game is on CBS on the bottom of
the screen when they showed us because cause you're slow
it down a little bit, just slow it just what
what I need to I need to help you sound
younger at and I'm not saying this is all the time, Andy,

(02:07):
I need to help you sound younger. Talking about the
screen at the bottom and the score is going too fast.
This is not helping. It's not helping the cause. Sound younger,
and let me tell you why. When I look at
the screw at the I'm not just looking at the score.
I'm looking at the one loss record of the team.
And it goes so fast. Most people, I know what
they do. The highlight the winner. It's in color, so

(02:29):
you look at that box and you know who won. Boom,
that's it. But I want to see the records of
each team. But the time I go back and it's over,
it's over. Okay. If I want to just look at
the scores, I can handle the scores, but I want
to see what the one loss records are. I'm sorry.
We had a classic last night with you, c l A.
The Dame game was unbelievable. Jim Harbaugh, there's like a

(02:52):
hairball in his throat. Again, Michigan not getting it done.
And you're sitting here. Tell me about the scroll at
the bottom. Come you see, l A. There were down
like thirty two points in the third period, and I
thought it was a topographical mistake. Sixty seven sixty three.
They lose what it was a tenth rank Washington State,

(03:13):
which is not a good move for the Pack twelve.
It's not a good thing. But let's get that final touchdown,
and let's hear how it sounded right here, hit it,
snap is off. It's a quick screen pass the Felton.
He's got blockers in front of him. Trek Felton, stay
in the end zone. Touchdown. U c l A. Josh
Lewin from lear Field, I amg college and I'll tell

(03:35):
you what to me. I'm looking at these stats. U
c l A at six hundred fifty seven yards total offense,
but Washington State seven hundred twenty yards for Washington State.
How do you blow that lead? I don't get it.
Because Washington State was behind seven nothing. First series of
the game. U c l A intercepted a pass from
the quarterback Gordon uh and they they scored. It was

(03:56):
what seven nothing Washington U c l A. And then
all of a sudden boomed the in and then comes back. Yeah, crazy, comeback.
I'm literally right now, I'm watching the replay because I
watched a good portion of this game. So last night here.
Let me take you through this, handy, because I know
you're on the edge of your seat for this as
well as America here. But I was watching. I went

(04:20):
in the bedroom last night, right and um, I'm watching
on the big TV. I had the Arizona State game
on because they're going back and forth with Colorado Little
Pack twelve after dark, you know. And then I had
on my computer, I had the U c l A
Washington State game, and so this is after halftime and

(04:40):
Washington States just handling them. I'm like, you know what,
I don't need everything going on at once. I closed
the computer and so I'm watching the end of the
Arizona State game as I'm flipping back to Washington State
and it's still not even that good of a game yet.
I go to bed and I wake up and I
see the update that you see a A wins and
I'm like, what what? So I'm watching the replay right now.

(05:04):
It's about five minutes to go in the game on
the replay, But what a comeback man, and Washington State.
You just gotta do better. You just gotta do better.
You can't be gaining over seven hundred yards offensively and
kicking game like that defensively, you gotta rely on some
semblance of defense. What about the quarterback Anthony Gordon? Those
five hords and seven the yards breaks the school regular

(05:26):
with nine touchdown passes and they still lose the blow game.
But here's the thing, you know, if you're a TV executive,
I mean, it's exciting as this game was what the
comeback they lose, like their audience at halftime with the
score out of out of control? Really right with it
being as late as it is. If the score is
out of control, a lot of people are just gonna bail.
They're gonna go to bed man, especially on the East coast.

(05:48):
Good board. I went to bed on the West coast.
I can only imagine what's going on in the East Coast.
Fast asleep for sure. But I'll tell you what, Andy,
the way I look at it, I think this is
this is really really good for the Pack twelve over
the long haul. Short term this isn't great, but long haul.
If you look at U c. L A. With Chip Kelly,

(06:10):
who's on thin ice right now, that's a big win
for him. And if he sticks around in the conference,
that's even better because he's got a name. Same concept
with USC. I think this is good for the long
haul if you get USC back to prominence, but I
think it's bad for the short term because especially Utah,
that's a top ten team, they go down. Washington State

(06:33):
was ranked at nineteen overall, So your ranked teams in
the Pack twelve, they're just getting eaten by other Pack
twelve teams. So you don't have one team above everybody else.
So I think getting USC and U c l A
on track is good for the long haul, but not
for the short haul. You make mention of that Washington
State which did lose. Next week they play Utah, so

(06:54):
that that's gonna hurt the conference even it's one of
them is gonna go down again next week. Yeah, yeah,
And it's look at the You look at the A
c C. If you don't have Clemson doing what they're doing,
if you don't have them as the rock star of
the conference, you're looking at that conference and saying there
is a lot of mediocrity here. They had a Power

(07:16):
five low two teams ranked heading into this week of play.
That's it. They had two teams ranked. And if you
don't have Clemson dominating, you look at that conference much differently.
That's what the PAC twelve is. The PAC twelve is
what the a c C isn't. They have a lot
of teams that are better in the middle, they just

(07:37):
don't have that team up top to bring respectability to
the entire conference. That's where you're at right now. I
hate to ruin you a day, but I gotta talk
about Notre Dame. And honestly, I was pulling tell you
how much I was joining for Notre Dame. I watched
it on CBS, right But then after a while, I
said maybe, And this is really crazy, but I know
a lot of people feel the same way I do.
So I'm gonna say it. A lot of times you

(07:58):
watch a sporting event, you say, wonder if I didn't
turn that on or listen at that point in time,
would that event have happened? Right? So I shut the
TV off and I turned on the Notre Dame radio
network to listen to Notre Dame Radio, and I thought,
maybe you'll give the Irish a little more luck, because
I'm a Notre Dame fan really and I love you,
and I think it's gonna help you a little bit too,
and you'll be in a better mood today. Have not
Youre Dame Wednesday game. And I love Brian Kelly because

(08:21):
he coached it Cincinnati, and I know Brian Kelly. I
like him a lot. So I was hoping they win,
you know, really, I really was, and like it. Just
they couldn't get over the And they started so great defensively,
because everybody says that the SEC is fast and great.
Notre Dame was step for step for them the first quarter.
Maybe fast, speed, tackling, aggressive, tough. I said, this is great.

(08:42):
This I didn't expect this at a Notre Dame, great tackling,
and all of a sudden the roof cave in. Well, yeah,
they just too many sloppy penalties and no running game.
They couldn't run the ball and just doing the little things.
If it's third and two and they don't snap the
ball right, you know, if it's third and two and
there's a false start penalty, and that's not gonna be

(09:04):
on the highlight shows at all, but it kills drives,
and they did too many of those things. They hung
with Georgia, there's no doubt they were right there. They
had the ball, final drive and they just they couldn't
figure it out offensively. But they proved that they can
hang with an SEC team on the road. I thought
it was a respectable performance. But the disheartening thing is

(09:28):
if you win that game, if you find a way
to put together a final drive, you are in a
great position to make the playoff again because the rest
of the season, that schedule, it's very manageable. And that's
an opportunity that they just missed. But it's a fantastic game.
And how about Kirby Smart He kicks the field goal
to go up twenty three to ten instead of going

(09:51):
for it on fourth and one, and believe me, they
he would be second guests like crazy if No Dame
puts together a final drive. But it works out. It
works at sometimes, believe it or not. In this age
of college football, relying on your defense actually pays off,
and it did for Georgia last night. Well to two
things really hurt notre dameless and you mentioned in both

(10:11):
the rushing game and they were out rushed like one
two to forty six and the turnovers that they had
sloppiness really and two with deceptions by book. But the
point is this that you're right, they weren't embarrassed and
they played with them and they can't play again. But
that one loss will hurt them. Well, we'll see what
happens right now, because Georgie's gotta lose because they're gonna
get at least two teams in the final four from

(10:31):
the SEC. The SEC is gonna have two teams there. Stone.
But it looks that way, right, and it's it's moving
in that direction, it really is. But but again it's not.
It's not setting Stone. And look, Bama and LS you
were in the same division, you could have Georgia and

(10:51):
most likely Bama. Right, it could happen, But I don't
think it's I don't think it's setting Stone yet. It
depends if Notre Dame can win out from this point on.
And I'll tell you someth fun. I'm gonna go back truck,
which I do. Listen to everything you say, you know
I do. And you said, you have one game on TV,
in one game on the computer. That doesn't happen on
Sundays in NFL at least for me. Does that happen

(11:13):
for you? And I assume it to one game and
that's it? No, No, I mean college football, you go
back and forth. I mean, would I have a turn
on a local radio broadcast for an NFL game, I
don't think so, but for college I do, and it
was great. Listen to the Not Your Name network. Well
that's good, that's good. But I think you should broaden
your horizons. I think you should because the NFL. The

(11:35):
NFL is fantastic. I'll walk you through my day real quickly.
Here you go, please, Here's what I do NFL wise,
if it's there's just one game on my TV, on
might cut my wrists. I need more. Yeah, So I
go out to the sports bars all the time for
the early games. If there are more than five early games,
which typically there always are, I'm out. I'm at the

(11:55):
sports bar at least for the early games because I
got to see everything at the same time. And then
I'll come back home for the late games. But I
have Sunday ticket on my computer, right so I'll have
depending on like today, here's a good example, there's five
afternoon games, I'll have four of them on my computer.
In the one on the network channel or or I

(12:17):
get really geeky here, Andy Ferman. If there are two
games on network TV, I'll have one on the big
screen one on my other TV that I'll bring in
and just put on the table. Then I'll have three
games on my computer. That's how I get down Ferman
and done type stuff. I can't watch a game of
the sports bar because I'm too much of a social

(12:39):
animal talking to people in schmoozing. I can't do that,
and I can't do it with the sounddown. I can't
do with the sound. And number three I probably lick
it up if I got a sports bar, So I
can't watch a game of the sports bar, right number one?
Number two today the Cincunti Bengals, our home team here
where I live. All right, we're in Buffalo. I'm gonna
zoom and the watch the entire game unless he gets
out of control. That's what I'm gonna do. I'll watched

(13:00):
the band and then I'll see what's on in the
afternoon game, and certainly watched the Sunday night game. That's
what I do. I can't watch too many games at once.
I liked to zoom and just watch one. All right,
we'll see what anybody else supposed to do. I think
that's a youth thing, and it's all right. If you
want to get to meet things, you could do that
on Twitter at the no show at the n O

(13:21):
E Show. That's a tweet and we'll read him. We'll
retweet him at Andy Ferman FSR or What's Your Thing?
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
sixty three sixty nine. And our lineup today second to none,
really Bronx Talk Radio in this hour our number two
button barrel betting, and in our third and final hour,

(13:41):
Alex Marves. We call him the chic Fox Spots Radio's
NFL Inside And of course Brian no one knows picks
were brought to you by Cincinnati Bell, powering your connected life.
But no a b no problem. That's next. Will we
see him again? Well, that's coming right up twenty one
minutes past the hour. It's Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian No,

(14:01):

(14:22):
three times fast and do you like that? As we
roll on right here, we have a caller in Washington
and we'll get them in a second. But b yeah,
it's just Advance is really getting under my skin. He's
tweeting right now and he said it must be Sunday
morning because Andy Ferman is bleeping about the scroll? Can
I can I say something about the scroll? Thing? I'm
watching Notre Dame, as I mentioned, but I'm gonna CBS

(14:45):
thing that got the scroll, and I like to look
at the score, the one lost record, and sometimes the
games are in progress. Could you hold it back a
second to let me know how much time is left
in the game. I don't think it makes me old, young,
or anything else so stupid. I just would leave it
on there an extra second, that's all I'm asking. They
put it through so quickly you can't even see it.
But that's me. Maybe it's just me. Okay, sorry, sorry,

(15:11):
I let me have the words, Andy, I have no words.
It doesn't make you old to be like it's going
a little too fast. It makes you old to keep
complaining about it. That's what makes you. It's not a complaint,
it's it's just oh no, no, it's a it's a compliment.
Is that what it is? No, it's it's just a state,
that's all. That's kind of Washington. Talk to Don Don
You're on Fox Football Sunday with my guy Brian no

(15:34):
and Andy Firman. How are you done hanging there? Yeah?
It was just an observation, right, And that's all it is.
That's all it is. Yeah. No. And my thing is
to watch listen to the game on the radio and
with the delay because the analyst always watch how the
left guard block Teland or something, and then when you

(15:54):
watch the play you can actually kind of concentrate and
notice that more great point, great point, right. I mean
I I like this guy because he's a radio guy.
I'm a radio guy. If you get a great guy
on radio, he could really paint the picture of what's
going on. Then you go back to the tube you say, wow,
he was right. Look what's happening? Right? Okay, I like that.

(16:17):
That's what I like. All right, thank you. Hey they
still do it on TV though. Chris Collinsworth is he's
amazing when it comes to diagnosing a play and say hey,
check this out. And he doesn't miss anything. He's business.
He spent in what Tony Romo does is predicts the future.
He tells you what they're going to do. Chris Collinsworth

(16:37):
tells you what happened and how they did it right,
and they both are great doing it in different ways.
But uh, I'm just saying that it's I get you
what's going on with your your radio thing, and that's fine,
it works for you. But they do that too on
TV where they say all right, Chris collins were there,
here we go. He does that, holy alright, alright, here

(16:58):
we go and then called the right Guard and he
doesn't miss anything. He's on it either, do you either,
that's for sure. Marcella New York wants to talk to
Brian no and Andy Ferman Fox Football. Hello, Marcel, how
are you the king of Fox Sports Daybreak? Mr Andy
Ferman is back along with Mr Brian Knowle. Good morning

(17:19):
to you, gentlemen. And I think you put an L
on my name. Marcel. There's no L on my name?
What just no, that's it, Brian Nole. I guess you
did it again. There's no Well maybe it's your accent. Marcel.
There's no no. There you go, there you go, you

(17:40):
got it. You're on now. Good morning the New York
Giants having an Old two deficit without Eli Manning. But
Mr Jones number eight will play at the new quarterback
of our team, just like you Andy, the New York
Giants to tap against the Buccaneers one a certain tending

(18:02):
and pacific today. I hope those guys who were going
to try to win so far, I don't think so.
I don't think the Giants are gonna get it done today.
I really don't. And I think I'll tell you why. Offensively,
you got a question up with a new quarterback number two.
Their entire offense is based on se Kwan Barkley. They
don't have any receivers, and I don't know if they

(18:24):
could run the football. I just don't think they're gonna
win in Tampa. I just don't know they're gonna run it.
They're absolutely gonna run it today with Kwan. That's not
good to U defense. That's all I have to do.
The question is, gentlemen, can the Old two Giants have
a Wednesday or it will be lost for oh and three.
I think they win today. I've got the g men.

(18:46):
I like Daniel Jones. I think he's gonna play well.
And yeah, your receivers aren't the greatest, right now, you
need golden tap to come back. We get all that,
but Evan Ingram, Evan Ingram is a good tight end, Bryan.
I do agree with you. I do agree with you,
Andy Well. I will say this, Brian's right there on
the football. That's their offense. But the rush defense for

(19:08):
Tampa Bay not good, so they can have some some
daylight over there. I think the line was something like six.
I would take the six correct, correct, right? It sounds
good on Twitter. Everybody at more smart on the Giant

(19:30):
and I do agree with that. Alright, let's get into it. Alright, Okay,
the typical New York always like wants to get their
last one. Wait, it's a New York thing. Now, Hey,
here's my Twitter handle. That's right? You really, come on,
really we should charge it for that spot? Really? Could?

(19:51):
I just say? Well, before we go to the NFL,
we gotta talk about Jim Harbaugh for a second. I
mean we talk college in the first segment. I mean,
here's a guy that's getting over a million dollar and salary.
No Big ten titles, no national playoff appearance, appearances against
top ten teams. You know what's his record like one
and nine, one and ten something like that would never
beat the Ohio State. I mean, honestly, you gotta believe

(20:13):
he's on some sort of a hot seat up there
in Michigan, don't you think, Yeah, Well, he's certainly on
the hot seat for criticism. He's been on that hot
seat for a long time. In terms of the hot
seat where he's gonna get fired. It's getting hotter the
more the losses like this pile up, because not only
was this a loss to Wisconsin, it was embarrassing. Man.

(20:34):
They got out gained on the ground three fifty eight
to thirty. That that's what happened. Jonathan Taylor rushes for
two hundred and three yards and two touchdowns. You get
out gained in rushing yards three fifty eight to thirty.
That is just putred man. So it's one thing to
lose a game. It's another thing to just get wrecked.

(20:58):
And there have been far too any boat racings. Think
about last year Andy that Ohio State game. How ugly
was that for Michigan and Jim Harbaugh. It's been brutal there.
It was twenty eight nothing at the half. They fourteen
that Wisconsin yesterday and Honestly, it amazes me how that
program has gone downhill, and I don't understand why. I mean,

(21:21):
he knows football, there's no doubt about that. But look
at the schedule. Now, they got Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State,
Notre Dame in Ohio State on the schedule. I mean,
right now, there's something like four and eleven thing there.
His tough fifteen teams on the Harbor. I don't see
them having a winning season this year. I really don't. Well,
I think they're gonna have a winning season, but that

(21:41):
doesn't mean a whole lot if you go seven and five.
That's not what they're looking for in ann Harbor. When
Jim Harbaugh comes in, he's supposed to be the savior.
They're supposed to be competing for national championships and this
that is amazing too. They were trailing twenty eight to
nothing at halftime. Chigan was losing to Wisconsin. It's the

(22:02):
first time Michigan trailed by twenty eight or more at
halftime since nineteen Would you start rattling stuff off like that,
It's just like, what are we doing here? What's going
on in Michigan? And it just they're under the microscope
even more because Jim Harbaugh is a high profile guy.
He's got a resume, he's had a lot of success,

(22:24):
and the money that he's making too. Absolutely. You know, look,
I don't begrudge anybody making a lot of money, but man,
you know, work for it, deserve it. Give me something
full when I'm getting I'm paying you right when we
gotta produce. Gotta produce kind of like us, we produce
every week. We really do well. We don't get paid anything,
so not necessarily, I'm I'm kidding Ice. It's the public service.

(22:48):
By the way. Let's took him a first second. This
Jets patch game the reason why, I mean, look, Patriots
to to and oh Jets, oh and two the Patriots,
I mean they may go and defeated this year, the
way they're playing the forty three nothing over your Dolphins.
Last week, Sam Donald's out at the Mono Nucleos's life
is rolling off of the Patriots the top of the
Santonio Brown released Friday. Will he be picked up? Will

(23:09):
he play? We see him again in an NFL uniform again? Well,
it depends on this civil suit, you know, it depends
what comes out of that. But if he is essentially cleared,
then yes, he's absolutely going to play for another team again.
There's already teams sniffing around right now wanting to pick
him up if everything sorts itself out. So I believe yes,

(23:32):
but that's pending. I don't know what did, what didn't
happen with that lawsuit, so that is a pending thing.
If it comes out he's guilty as sin and then
with all the other baggage, probably not, but it depends
on that case. If he is cleared, then you better
believe he's gonna be back in the NFL. There's gonna
be another team saying he's far too talented. We'll take

(23:54):
the headaches. Hopefully things won't be a disaster. Let's give
it a shot and do an experiment here just to happen.
Even though the Patriots off all teams eleven days Andy
and he's done with the Patriots, that is a big
warning shot. It's a public service announcement to the rest
of the league, like stay away. Dude is toxic. He
makes horrible decisions all the time, no doubt. Damn. I

(24:16):
tell you a Seattle there was someone interest there and
and the coaching staff said, look, we're kind of happy
with what we got right now instead of a nice
sort of a way saying no, no, we don't we
don't want him, we don't want him, we don't need him.
That's basically what happened there. But you're right. We always
said a talent Trump's trouble, and he's got talent, there's
no doubt about that. But if he's guilty, he's finished.
If he's not, he'll play again. That's what it's all about.

(24:38):
I got a quick theory for you after we get
Big be in here. I got a theory about DIVA
wide receivers I want to throw at you. Sounds wonderful.
I can't wait. But can the eighty four million dollar
quarterback bounce back today? Well that's next, But first to
Big B has mentioned Brian Fentley for the latest. What
is going on? Guys? If you have the hots for
high scoring college football games and you were in vatuated

(25:00):
by the ending in the Polus d t R has
a snap throws over the middle, it's caught Felton out
of the backfield, off to the racest forty fifty fifty
forty stiff arms a man ten five touchdown, and that
is Nick Cope of the u c L Alearfield IMG
College on the call. The Bruins exhaust nineteenth ranked Washington

(25:21):
State sixties seven sixty three u c L A quarterback
Dorian Thompson. Robinson accounted for five seven yards in the
year five touchdowns. The Bruins worked their way back from
a thirty two point third quarter deficit by scoring fifty
points in the second half, and Cook's head coach Mike
Leach said afterwards, everybody could have beaten his team by

(25:42):
the way they played in that second half. No kidding,
h yeah, yeah, everybody, even you two guys getting well.
We're gonna get to that update. In just a second,
fifteen ranked u c F belly ops against Pittsburgh thirty
thirty four. That snaps ucs twenty seven game regular season

(26:05):
a wedding streak. Third ranked Georgia finishes off number seven.
The number seven Brian knows or the number seven Notre
Dame Fighting Irish is another name they call them. Twenty
three seventeen Bulldogs quarterback Jake from At a go ahead
touchdown in the fourth quarter. Some injury notes in the
NFL Ravens tight end Mark Andrews, Mark Andrews is on

(26:26):
track to play today. He's listed as questionable with a
foot injury. Texans offensive lineman Larmy tunsl is expected to
be a go today through it aching ankle injury and quickly.
In Major League Baseball, the Cardinals smear the Cubs nine eight,
the Cards hanging on to a three game leading the
NL Central. The Cubs, what is going on with them?
Five losses in the row. They have dropped three games
out of that second wild card spot. Back to the

(26:49):
Diva's and Andy Ferman and Brian No, thank you so
very much. Hey, By the way, they're gonna get a
w today. We'll get to that in just about a minute.
As mentioned, he's Brian No, I'm Andy Fermen. We call
this Fox Football Sunday and welcome out the Fox Boats
Radio studios. Brough up to you by Geico. It's easier
to say more on car insurance with Geico. Gotta Geico
dot com or call eight or seven. And I don't

(27:09):
think only hard part figuring out which way is easier.
And of course, and listen ten minutes we'll have Bronx
Talk RADIOO right now. My friend, my partner, the man
himself Brian know what the Diva's Yeah, here's my theory, Andy,
I think that a lot of DIVA wide receivers they've
got something in common, which is a lot of them
went to small colleges. They went to smaller schools, and

(27:33):
I think there's a layer there. This isn't a hard
fast rule. There are exceptions, but if you look at
Antonio Brown going to Central Michigan right sixth round pick,
Tara Owens Tennessee Chattanooga, Randy Moss at Marshall, like just
on and on, you start looking at that O'Dell went
to a major school, He's the exception. L s U.

(27:54):
Also Keyshawn Johnson played big time football at USC. So
there are some exceptions, but I do think there's something.
There's some element with some players where if Antonio Brown
goes to Alabama, if he's playing big time football, if
he's in the limelight, well maybe he isn't doing these
things just aching to hold onto the limelight the same way.

(28:17):
You know, I think there's something there where if these
guys come from major college football, major spotlight, they're used
to it. I think they're not doing some of these
stupid things craving the attention. If t O goes to
a power five just blue blood, powerhouse school, I don't know,
he's doing sit ups in his driveway aching for attention,

(28:39):
you know. So you're trying to say it because they
lack the attention when they get to the NFL. They
can't handle the attention. Yeah, I think that it's somewhat
For certain guys, it's culture shock, and it feels good
when you start getting attention like that. It feels real good,
and you'll do some wild stuff to cling onto it.
And we're certainly seeing that with Antonio Brown. There's no

(29:01):
doubt about that. He loves the spotlight. He loves the attention,
and a lot of times the things he does to
get that attention come back to buy him. And more
than that, the more attention you get, moreover you probably
will get some endorsement money, which really makes you really
keep on going in that direction. Yeah. Yeah, I just
think maybe you compare it like this, a lot of

(29:24):
players go broke. If you are used to having a
lot of money at an earlier age, well, maybe you
manage it better when you're in the pros. But if
it's just like, holy cow, I've got millions of dollars
and I don't even know how I would handle that.
I think I do okay, but I've never been in
that position, and I can't sit here and tell you

(29:44):
if I'm twenty two, I'm gonna handle it well. You know,
I think there is some sort of culture shock and
you might not handle it well. It's the same concept
if you come from mcgilla Cutty State like Billy Bob Tech,
and all of a sudden, now you're an NFL superstar.
You're in the spotlight. A lot of guys can't handle that,
and they do some wild stuff trying to cling on

(30:06):
to having that attention. I I like it. I like
what you're saying. A lot of thought going into that,
and that's why you're number one. I really I like
that a lot. I'm running that down on my nosebooks.
I really think. By the way, we didn't mention that
that New England Jet game, it's a twenty one and
a half point deal the Jets again, and I take
the points and that that's a large amount is And

(30:30):
the reason why I mean what I take above everything
is the under I pluck at the Patriots defense. No
one's scoring on him. What's Luke Falk gonna do today,
you know, And then you look at Quentin and Williams
supposed to be back, some of their defensive guys gonna
be back. I think this is just gonna be a
ugly game. It's gonna be like a twenty two three

(30:51):
type games something like that. But yeah, I would take
two points. I don't think that it's gonna be the
Patriots boat racing the Jets today. I think their defense
is getting healthier. Yeah, I wonder what the odds are
right now. And I should have looked this up of
the Patriots going undefeated this year, because I believe there's
a possibility that play now with their old line. Just
look at their old line where David Andrews is out.

(31:14):
They lose Isaiah Win he's on I R He's gonna
miss at least half the season. They got dudes, They're
just missing guys left and right. So once they play
the better teams with good defensive lines. This actually it's
a pretty good test today with the Jets. They're just
Jets defensive line. If Quinn and Williams is healthy and
ready to go, that's a pretty good d line. And

(31:37):
I'm telling you Andy, this Patriots old line. They're way
too banged up to even think about going sixteen and no,
we will see we will see it right there by
the I want to take a look at this Raiders
Vikings game, and Oakland's getting eight and a half in
this game. The game is in Minnesota. Minnesota stunk up
the joint last week. They lose to Green Bay at
Green Bay sixteen. I think they bounced back today, I

(31:57):
really do. I think that the eighty four million Della
Man the quarterback. Of course, we'll get it done today.
Then we're talking about Kirk Cousins, who had three turnovers
and an interception in the fourth quarter. List with that
courst them the game. That interception course on the game
list week against green Baby. But I think he gets
on track today. I think that Minnesota wins today. I
think they win comfortably. I'd say by double digits um.

(32:19):
But yeah, going back to last week, Kirk Cousins just awful. Andy.
I thought Chris Myers, who was doing the game on Fox,
I thought he put it perfectly. It's about five minutes
to go. They're moving the ball right down the field.
They've got first in goal on the Packers eight yard line.
And Kirk Cousins has this fall away what Chris Meyers
called a hail mary. When's the last time you heard

(32:42):
of a hail mary from your opponent's eight yard line?
And I thought it was the perfect description. What are
you doing? Why would you throw a risky pass like
that when you're moving the ball right down the field
that's eventually intercepted. It was a brutal decision, brutal game
by Kirk Cousins. There's no doubt he cost him the
game last week. Again, I'm with you right there, but

(33:02):
run the ball. Give it to Dalvin Cookies at back
to back hundred yard games. Run the football. They're gonna
run them to death today. And that's what the Vikings
are gonna do. And they're gonna win, and they're gonna
win big. And I'll tell you what, give up the points,
Give up to eight and a half because they're gonna
win by more than that. Yeah, I would, I'd lay them.
Raiders are terrible on the road. They've lost ten of
their last eleven on the road, and the Vikings have

(33:23):
a really good defense. So I don't know how effective
Derek Carr is gonna be today. It's a big test
for Oakland's offense. But I think that Kirk Cousins he's
got to be sharp today because he was so utterly
dreadful last week. I think he comes into the game
very focused against the Raiders defense that isn't exactly a

(33:43):
juggernaut and it's in Minnesota. So there you go. There's
another three points you get for that. Okay. He's Brian
no On Andy Ferman. We call this Fox Football Son.
They went live from the guy called Fox Sports Radio Studios.
It's loud, it's obnoxious, and quite honestly, it's foolish. But
we call the Bronx Talk Radio. That is freaking next,

(34:03):

the top of the hour. He's Brian no I'm Andy Ferman.

(34:52):
call Bronx Talk Radio, posted by the Great crisp Hey
and welcome back to the Bronx. How you doing here? Said?
It doesn't matter how he is doing all right, doesn't care.
I don't know why I'm asking it because it's something
people do. But you know what, I don't really care
because we got a tough guy of the war to
hand out right away, tough guy of the ward going

(35:14):
out to God to minshew. I like his mustache. That's
like a freaking point star. Whyd that make you a
tough guy though? Huh? Chris, kids, If I have a mustache,
that make me a tough guy? Huh? Is that why?
It would make you tougher? It would make you tougher
Brian though than you actually? Ah? How about that? So
all I gotta do is girl freaking mustache the tough guy? Huh?

(35:35):
He should think about the most tough guys never had mustache.
Just think about al Capone. Did he have a mustache.
Tom Selik had a mustache. He wasn't tough. That was
a TV that life legs diamond leg diamond have a mustache. No,
you know what also makes you tough? You cut your
own shorts. God to Minshew cuts his own joys, you know,
always tough. Ronnie Lot chopped off one of his fingers,

(35:56):
one of his digits. He didn't have no mustache. I
don't like it, all right. Congrats to the Yankee boys.
They've won the hundredth game. Division is locked up. Just
hand us a freaking rings already, all right, not really
Astro's win at all. Whoa whoa hold on, hold on staff,
I'm calling a bronx fell on you, Andy firm. And
how can you go against the Yankees because they've got

(36:19):
a great picture step and spin. Right, You've got some
injuries over there with the Yankees, some of the pictures
that going down. You know, you've got problems off the field.
So there's stuff to look at their stuff, to look
at their stuff, to look at the shocks in the
water with you guys going after the Yankees. They just
won ten in a row. That's why Aaron Boone just

(36:40):
got thrown out that's like a freaking lucky charm over here,
all right there, winning I don't care. It's not like
a fanboy. Yeah you know what I am. He's one
of his Yankee underwear with the pinch trick. Got on like, hey,
I'm gonna souten to you before I go to sleep here.
That's like, that's weird. Why would that be weird? Why

(37:03):
would that be weird? That's just something people doing. A
stein Brenda Onesie. That's what everything you're saying is factually
freaking true. Get off my stein Brenna Onesie. I love it.
Let's head down to Georgia where Brian, No, you are
Notre Dame fighting Irish got beat pretty hot, not gonna

(37:25):
lie there, pretty hot. It was a one score game
and came down to this end. What are you talking about? Beating?
Right there? Maybe right there, maybe Georgia had a lecture
luck because a store in Georgia removed all of the
Irish spring soap from its stocks before the Georgia Notre
Dame game with a sign temporarily out, temporarily freaking out

(37:49):
of stock. Go dogs. That's all right, it's kind of
a dorky thing over there, but I'll tell you what.
The passion of the Georgia fans. It's amazing. I take
my head off the pad. I don't love this. It's okay,
it's a little dorky from my paste. But when you
got passion, I give you a free pass. Well, passion
hopefully can make them not smell so bad, which they
would need if they they wouldn't need if they were

(38:10):
able to use that Irish spring. Dane doesn't use Irish
spring soap. They don't use that stuff. Georgia people do
what they don't. They just don't rarely bandit for this game,
you know, because it's associated with the freaking Irish. That's
why they didnt smell? Is that why it is they're
gonna freaking smell? It was that joke, your fool, Come on,
it was a little and the Bronx. Why didn't they

(38:32):
just take away all the Irish miss I mean, there's
so many Irish things that could have taken away. Get
rid of the Guinness, get rid of it all. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm with you on this for all things Irish spring.
I don't think that to everybody there's using that. You know,
you could have done something. It's not the most popular
soap out guy, I don't think what would be Let's

(38:52):
move on. What what do you say, Chris? What's the
most popular popular? I use Irish spring. I don't know
about it really? Yes, maybe his ax now the most
pocket not a sponsible wash, same freaking thing. You don't know, soap?

(39:13):
But the last time you used the freaking bar of
soap over used the body wash? What go to now
to wash him off? What are you talking about? All right?
All right? We got a minute ago here on Bronx
Suck Radio, the leader in all Things Bronx from Bronx
by Bronx Shyla Buff. You know am I saying his name? Right?
Is it lebou la Buff? I don't know, Buff? What

(39:34):
do youbo? What are you doing? I don't Anyway, this
guy got kicked out of a freaking conference for stealing
a chicken. He was out there stealing chicken dinner meant
for people. The conference the kicker is he says, it
was for the from the builder Bergs. What he's stealing chickens?
What are you doing? It was a conference for billionaire

(39:58):
It was a Builderberg meeting. He was just going through
their film in a movie. He saw this conference, like, Hey,
this chickens over there, So what do you do? Like
any warm blood in American you go and get yourself
a freaking chicken. And then he's told, hey, you just
took a chicken from the Builderberg group. I wonder if
he psyched himself up before he stole these chickens by
saying to himself, just what is that? Yeah, he probably did.

(40:22):
He probably did what. I don't wonder how he got
clut though, you don't what I called. He just went
off the chicken us his boss soap over here. I
think that's what's going on. Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio.
It's a brand new offense. But isn't enough. We'll get
to that in just about a minute. It right now,
it's not to say wake up America, wake up. It's

(40:45):
Football Sunday. It's Fox Football Sunday. By the way, he's
Brian o Ony FERMANA way, I'll coming to you live
from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Brought to you by Geico.

car insurance. Visit Geico dot com. Why for a free
rate quote? That's why? Are is my guy? My partner,
my friend, the brains of this outfit, the hardest working

(41:07):
man in show business today, Brian No, hello, b how
are you. I'm doing great, Andy Furman, glad to be
here with you this morning. I was a little tongue
tied because my Irish you know, I was just I
think of you now because you were railing against the
scores at the bottom of the screen. I just saw

(41:29):
it on my screen. It was the Notre Dame score
and I'm like, oh gosh, And so that was on
my mind, didn't I'm I gotta I got a little
bit of a statement to make on that because I
was talking to our esteemed director producer. Whatever the heck
he does. You know, I don't know Chris p with
because we're both Toledo Rocket fans, University of Toledo. And
when they had to scroll last night, is that Toledo

(41:51):
wins big over CS? You what I'm saying, is that
Colorado State? Or is it Central State? And all to say,
you look at the scroll when I see O s
U is an Organs state? Is it Ohio State? Is
it Oklahoma State? So I'm not wrong on this scroll thing.
I am not wrong here, Believe me. Is that what
they have? Do they have os you? Yes, you could
tell by the team they play at times. You know,

(42:13):
if it's always Oklahoma State, they're probably gonna be playing Kansas,
Kansas State, someone in the Big twelve, so you can
kind of guess. If it's Oregon State, you know it's
someone out west. But still in all early season scores,
they're confusing because there's nonconference games going on right now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for alright. And by

(42:38):
the way, we have banged on you CF for for
years and you know what, we haven't mentioned it to you.
Gotta give him a little slap across the back today
because the twenty seven game regular season run was ended
by Pat Nardozy, my guy who coached at the University
of Cincinnati and now has the Pit Special, the Pitts Special,
the Panthers two and two, ending the seven game regular season.

(43:00):
When e streak yesterday, I love it thirty four yesterday
in Pits, it was just beautiful. I love the Pit Special.
It's basically the Philly Special that works. They take a
one point lead that ended up being the final score.
Pit thirty five, u c F thirty four, and really, Andy,
we give pit pit their props. But you see s

(43:23):
if we look at them. There has been so much
not just bad logic, trash logic, just filthy logic over
there trying to prop up this hack. You ceef team
who beats up on its terrible conference. They beat Auburn
in a bowl game one year because Auburn that was

(43:44):
a consolation prize. They didn't want to be there. That matters,
And this whole thing going back two years of we
beat the team who beat the team who beat the team,
We should be national champions. You guys can't beat a
one and two pit team. Shot up. You guys are
the Rhonda Rousey of college football. You fake cans. People

(44:05):
think that you're the real deal, and you are. You're
not even close to being the real deal. And it
showed yesterday you never have been. It's just because you've
been beating up on tomato cans. It hadn't been tripped
up until yesterday that people bought the hype. I never did.
I saw through him from the beginning, Andy for I
mean you saw through him too. They are frough gazy.
They are fake conference champion there, fake fake, fake all

(44:30):
across the port, fake fake, fake that's what you have
over there. But he's the addendum to that situation, what
you were talking about. It's not so much deface because
there's not that many fanboys for you see, if it's
the administration themselves, they put up a flag, they put
up a banner, they called themselves national champions. That to
me is fake that's fake news. And the president that
you see, I should be ashame of himself to let

(44:51):
his Atlantic direct go out there and get championship rings
and flanks. And yeah, I hate it. That's the thing, Andy,
I understand, and I will say I get the middle
ground of you're a group of five team. You want
to stir the pot, you want to get some attention,
some shines, some notoriety. I get that. I understand it.

(45:12):
But when you give out championship rings, when you put
on the the press boxen national champions, you have gone
way too far. No u c F, sit down. That
should be the next sound bite is UCF hit down,

(45:32):
get in the corner, getting the one into pit takes
you down. Shut up. And that's the other thing. One
other thing here, Andy Firman, is I hate when you
CF makes their wins out to be bigger than they are.
Stanford sucks this year. Stanford is trash. And when they
beat them down last week, all of a sudden, all

(45:53):
these u c F Hawks come out of the woodwork,
their little cockroaches. They're just scurrying all of the the times, like, oh,
look at we took down a power five team. Like
what like Stanford anything this year. Stanford is trash this year,
and you acted like that was a big win. It's
not even close to a big win. Next week they're
gonna lose to UK in the American Athletic Association. That's

(46:16):
not gonna hole is terrible. Yeah, It's just it's one
of those andy where Gosh, I don't always say I
always say this, consider the competition. If you look at
you CFS competition that matters for anybody's saying, oh they
can beat anyone in the country. No, no no, no, no,

(46:38):
they can't know. Just because you win your conference and
take down Auburn in a consolation game, that doesn't mean
you can take down Bama and Clemson settled down. It
doesn't take a chill pill place. By the way, I'm
gonna go a hundred eighty degrees now from u c
F to the NFL to the NFL, right because I'm

(46:59):
think can this could be the best game of the day.
Kansas City Baltimore in Kansas City, this to me, I mean, honestly, really,
you've got explosive offenses. You've got a new offense now
in Baltimore. Let's check this out. Ravens two and oh
Chiefs two and lest Ravens beat up in Arizona. They're
like a UCF anyway, seventeen Lamar Jackson, boy, the new

(47:20):
Lamar Jackson flows for two seventy two to t d
s and he also ran for a hundred and twenty.
The Chiefs beat the Raiders last. And this Ravens offense
is averaging over three hundred yards a game passing, passing.
So this game right now, looking at the odds, Balton
was getting five or five and a half. Balton was
getting five and a half at Kansas City. I tell

(47:42):
you what, I'd stay away from that game and the
over and under fifty two fifty two. Yeah, I think
you're gonna have a lot of points today. I would
take the over there because Baltimore they're gonna have a
tough time slowing down. Patrick Mahomes. How about this, Dad,
Andy the Ravens defense. They gave up seven pass plays
twenty mords or yards twenty more, twenty yards or more

(48:03):
last week against the Arizona Cardinals. If they're doing that
to a rookie quarterback making his first road start in
Kyler Murray last week, seven past plays twenty yards or more,
what's gonna happen with Patrick Mahomes today. This isn't the
same Ravens defense. They lost a lot of talent in
the off season, So I think that Mahome is gonna

(48:24):
go ballistic today as he typically does. But Lamar Jackson,
like you said, he's off to a great start this year.
The competition has been great with the Dolphins in the
Arizona Cardinals, but still he has been electric and that
Chiefs defense, it leaves a lot to be desired. So
he could have a really good game today as well.
I think that you could have a shootout today an arrowhead,

(48:45):
which I think it's game. By the way, A little
word of advice for for coach John Harbor of the Ravens,
get on the horn and talk to your brother a
little bit at Michigan. Could you do me that favorite
that helped not a little bit. I mean, what happens
when Jim Harberg gets the actually Michigan does John Hiram
in Baltimore? Does that happen? I don't know. Well, we're
a far away from that happening. Well, he's your favorite son.

(49:07):
I don't know that Jim has to go straight to
being a coordinator. If he fizzles out in Michigan, He's
still got a great resume. Someone probably give him a chance.
But we're far from that day happening. How about the
defensive coordinator of the Ravens Wink Martindale saying that the
Patrick mahomes Lamar Jackson, that could be the Brady Manning rivalry,

(49:27):
And he goes to step further. He says, it could
be Ali Fraser, could be Magic Bird. It's like whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hold on a second here, like this could be a
good rivalry. But when you start putting it up there
with Ali Fraser, Ali, it's quite gonna be that Andy,
what do you say, No, it's gonna be a great game.
I mean, don't predict the future as what's happening today.
You know, take it for what it's worth. Put it

(49:47):
in the framework of today. Today, one o'clock Eastern at
our Hits Hour Hits Stadium in Kansas City. This to
me is going to be the game of the day now.
Earlier in the week it was Chiefs by seven, and
now went out the five and a half. You know,
I think they really respect Lamar Jackson what he's doing
right now because he could beat you with his legs
and now he could beat you with his arm. Right well, yeah, yeah,

(50:11):
but he's still he's not consistent enough accuracy wise. He
just he'll have some great throws. He's a lot like
Baker Mayfield. Really, if you think about it, Baker Mayfield
and Lamar they will make some jaw dropping plays, some
jaw dropping throws, and then they'll just miss wide open guys.
That's gotta be a given. Accuracy, I always say, Andy,

(50:34):
it's gotta be a given. Especially at the NFL level.
Quarterbacks gotta do all this stuff. You gotta read defenses,
you gotta recite a play that's five miles long, you know,
all this stuff, like the guys are pinning their ears
back all these pass rushes. When you finally diagnose the defense,
figure out who you're throwing too, it's got to be
an accurate pass and I just don't see that consistency

(50:56):
from Lamar or Baker Mayfield enough throwing the all accurately.
That's not comproved. I'm gonna do with Brian no here,
I'm gonna chew up some status of throwing her unbelievable
Lamar Jackson fifty seven thus for almost six hundred yards
a quarterback passing raving of one point. To check this out,
the rushing stats, Ravens have rushed for four hundred forty

(51:18):
seven yards, have rushed the opponents forty one. Let's check
a look at that defense. As you mentioned on the
Kansas City Chiefs, the Chiefs have rushed for one hundred
forty four yards, but the opponents have rushed for two
ten against him. The defense still has been very poorous.
This kid's TV Chiefs team is a replica of a
Big twelve team. Well, yeah, that's actually a pretty good comparison.

(51:39):
I like that. The defense is it leaves a lot
to be desired, there's no doubt, and their offense is
just dynamics. So yeah, I could see that. I think
that's a good comparison. But you look at the Ravens
and not to get too far ahead of ourselves. I'm
just looking at the defenses that they have coming up.
They've got the Chiefs today, you get the Browns next week,
follow by the Steelers, Bengals, and then the Seahawks. So

(52:04):
these first seven games before they have a bye week
in Week eight, this Ravens team could have a really
healthy record seven games in. I think they're up against
it today. I think they lose, but I'm just looking
for I guess it would be Week nine. They host
the Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The Ravens do and
the Patriots defense has just been outstanding. So I really

(52:27):
want to see as the season rolls on what Lamar
Jackson does when the defenses he faces gets better. And
I'm not taking all the credit away. It sounds like
I'm short changing the guy and just looking at the
wards and all that he brings a lot to the table.
I don't think I'm wrong for saying, yeah, the sample
size this year though, Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals. I'm not hating

(52:49):
on the guy. If I say I need to see
him perform really well against much better competition, that's not
anything that's wrong. He's the UCF of the NFL right now.
You're beating up on week competition. Now the over on
the points is fifty two. You said take over, and
I agree with you. Right now, a lot of people
are saying the score today would be somewhere in the
enamel like seven, which is a total of sixty two.
So if you're a betting man, well woman, by the way,

(53:11):
I'd say take the over, take the over run. Yeah,
let's go over. Let's go over. I think that's a
good bit. At the game itself, I think probably the
best game of the day. I think it is most
exciting game of the day. I do love that Sunday
night matchup Rams at the Browns. I like that a lot.
But yes, in terms of two star quarterbacks, big names,

(53:32):
offensive fireworks, a lot of this Ravens Chiefs game. That
is at least of the early window arguably the day
that is that's the go to game for sure. That's
probably no he's the man. Get him on Twitter at
the No Show and OI Show at Andy Ferman f
SR or eight seven seven ninety nine, Fox eight seven
seven sixty nine our lineup for today in this hour

(53:56):
bottom barrel betting. Yes, And in a third hour, does
she himself Alex Marvez. Who is he? He's Fox Sports
Radio's NFL Inside and we get that followed up with
Brian No and knows picks but coming home for the
first time today, we'll explain that next where's the run game?
We'll get to that in just about a minute, speaking
of minutes, twenty one minutes past the hour. This is

(54:18):
Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian No, all the Andy Firman
and we alive from the guy called Fox Sports Radio
Studios and amazingly, amazingly be dis tweet. I don't know
if it's a compliment or slap in the face to me,
but Justin Buchanan on Twitter says, Andy, do you feel
blessed to work with the smartest guy in sports? Mr?

(54:38):
Brian No? He says, I wake up at three forty
five am just to listen to his knowledge of sports
and then, as an addendum, along with your craziness, love
you guys. So I I guess it's a it's a
big hugging a kiss to you, but a big boot
up the rear end foray. But that's okay, that's all right.
I'm a clown. I'm a clown now, all right, No,

(55:00):
you're fantastic Andy Furman, and that was nice. I don't
know if that's the cousin of mine. That was very
nice of Justin. I thought it was you on on
a fake account. That's by Burner. Yeah. If I had
a Burner though, I would do the opposite. I would
just crush me and say that Andy Furman guy. Love
that guy a little more venom. I hate the crawl
goes too fast. I agree with him. You know, I

(55:22):
need to see the scores in the records. That's what
I would do on my Burner account. And I got
Brian Fenley back there, my son with the clown car,
hunking the clown car for me, right, thanks. Yeah, I
think they're playing or Crisp. It's one of the p
or b over there anywhere, Go away, please just go away?

(55:44):
All right? Now we've got the Falcons Colts. First home
game for the Colts whatever that means. You had that
stack which I wrote down and my nose notes if
you start the season two games on the road, which
the Colts have done, but they one on one Falcons
want to win. This game is at Indy today. All right,
I'll tell you what, Andy, Just to go back to
that stat from last week oh for four. Right, So

(56:07):
it was teams that start with back to back road games.
If you bet against them, that's worked out. The record
is fourteen and one against the spread. And it was
a disaster last week oh for four with that stat,
that was my statu stats all show last week. I
was harboring that oh for four. One of those teams

(56:29):
was the Bengals. Bengals last seven team, because the Niners
had back to back road games. It was the disaster
one and a half. What's that week? Oh yeah, right, Yeah,
the Bengals at home and they just get crushed. So yeah,
maybe you compare that to this game with the Colts.

(56:49):
They are favorite, they're a small favorite at home, and
they bucked the trend last week because the Colts started
off with back to back road games and they won
the game, right against the Titans last week. I like
the Falcons in this game, Andy, I think, yeah, I
think that their offense is starting to click a little
bit better. That was a man that was a physical

(57:11):
game last week against the Eagles. But I just I'm
not thrilled with the Colts team. Note Darius Leonard today,
the reigning defensive rookie of the year. He's tremendous as
a linebacker. The Colts. I don't know if you get
into stats like this too much, but they've dropped five
straight home openers, and I think, when you're facing a
tough opponent today, if you can give me points in

(57:33):
this one, I'll take it. With the Atlanta Falcons. And
I'm only getting a point, but I'll take it. And
when I look at getting a point and a half
point to happen, give me a hook on top, give
me the Falcon. But the Falcon does need to find
a run game. In two games played this year, hundred
and thirty rushing, you know, as the Colts. Marlon Mack
is that guy, and the Colts have a pretty good
offensive line. Macau is averaging about five yards of carry

(57:55):
got to twenty five on the year. The Colts defense, though,
has allowed five point six yards per carried two opponents.
That's big, that's huge. It really is. Matt Ryan surprisingly
five touchdowns but five I n t so far this year.
But I still like the Falcons. I really do explosive
offense for the Falcons. Yeah, that's it's a lot to

(58:16):
deal with if you're the Colts defense because you not
only have Julio Jones, but you've got Calvin Ridley. Mohammed
san New is a good player. There's a lot to
deal with there. And I although I love how the
Colts are running the football, they just gash you. They
just they knock you off the light of scripts. Man.
But Adam Vinetarry, we gotta talk about him. He can't

(58:39):
kick right now. He he not figured it out. He
needs glasses at his age right now, you just he's
seen blurred. He's seen two gold posts at one time.
You gotta get glasses. They worked out six kickers this week.
They worked out six new kickers on Tuesday, and it
sounded like possibly Adam Vinetarry was gonna be retiring this week.

(59:00):
He says, no, you just gotta get the demons out
of his head essentially. But man, when you're off to
this start for the season, he's been dreadful and when
it could easily come down to that type of game
where it could be a missed kick, he's one for
three in field goals, yeah, extra point two for five

(59:22):
for arguably the greatest kicker ever. That's just not cutting
it right now. And so going into a game he
could be perfect today and it wouldn't surprise me at all.
You can't fight father time, but that's what he's been.
This could be such a close game that gives me
another notch on the side of the Falcons. Why I'm
taking them this morning? Can we squeeze in one more

(59:44):
before we go to Big B at the bottom of
the we squeezing the Broncos at the Packers today? A
green base given seven and a half to Denver today.
It's amazing de Broncos one with two Packers too. And
oh last week they lost sixteen fourteen to the Bears.
The Packers win over the vi sixteen. Aaron Rodgers last week,
get this had a perfect one fifty eight point three

(01:00:06):
passion rating against the Vikings through the first quarter. He
finished two nine yards thirty four. But could the Broncos
convert first downs? Could they dominate time of possession to
keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. That's what they gotta
do today. But Rogers has been sacked seven times this year.
I gotta protect them, right And how about this that
the Broncos are the only team in the NFL that

(01:00:28):
hasn't recorded a sack yet. They're the only ones and
think about their pass rush with Von Muller and Bradley Chubb.
That's crazy to me. But I think they're gonna get
multiple against the Packers today. Like you mentioned, they're just
not doing a great job protecting Aaron Rodgers. So yeah,
I think that. I think that the Broncos pass rush

(01:00:49):
gets healthier today. But this Packers offense, it's a weird deal.
They started off so hot against the Vikings last week
and then it was like that's it, that's all the
points you get, So you don't quite know what you're
getting from that Aaron Rodgers, Matt Lafleur Packers offense. So
we'll see if they can find some consistency today because

(01:01:10):
we knew it was gonna take a little bit of
time to find their groove. But week three against the Broncos,
I think this will tell us quite a bit about
where their offense is. If the Broncos come into today's
game with zero sacks and if they walk out of
there with three four sacts, is gonna tell you a
lot about that Packers offense. Well, and the Broncos office
right now is a rushing game. Royce Freeman. He's averaging

(01:01:32):
almost five and a half yards to carry. But can
they win on Joe Flacco's arm? That's the key right there.
You don't hear much about Flacco. There's a lot of
Flacco stories. When he was still with Baltimore, he gets
shipped off to Denver. You don't hear much about him.
He's having sort of a respectable season thus far. Respectable.
I'm not saying great, but with two touchdowns one I
n t uh. He's got like five sixty yards there

(01:01:53):
as fifty eighty one. But you know, the team's own two.
That's what it's all about. Online is own too well.
I get it andy with John Elway. He's swung and
missed on a lot of quarterbacks ever since Peyton Manning.
But I think just because it's John Elway trying to
find the franchise quarterback for the Broncos, we're just focused

(01:02:15):
on the quarterback and that alone. But if you look
at that offensive line, Garrett Bowls is just brutal. And
John Elway talked about this during the week. Maybe it's
a way to get the people off of his back
with him not getting a franchise quarterback in there, but
he called out Garrett Bowls. Garrett Bowls has twenty six
holding penalties in thirty four games. He's had the most

(01:02:39):
since he set foot in the league by far, not
even close. He leads everybody by double digits, and John
Elway even said this week he's like, I don't know
if he knows what holding is, but it's gotta be better.
He is just killing the Broncos and we're gonna look
all at the quarterback. We're gonna look at Joe Flacco,
but you gotta look at that offense of line and

(01:03:00):
who's in front of him in Garrett Bowls, there's a
reason he's on thin nights. I think he'd be benched
right now if everybody was healthy. But Jawan James, he
hasn't been healthy to begin the year. Once he gets back,
you could have Bowls riding Pine and that's brutal as
the first round pick to get nothing out of the guy.
You're exactly right, Brian No, Andy Firmer together be call

(01:03:21):
a Fox Football Sunday, a new start but a bad finish.
That's next, But first, speaking a bit finishes Brian Finley

that is a single game Pack twelve record. U c
l A quarterback Dorry and Thompson Robinson accounted for five
at seven yards in the year five touchdowns. Bruins head

(01:04:03):
coach Chip Kelly following the game, spoke glowingly about his
signal caller. He's just a tough kid, and he just
keeps growing every week. You know, he got thrown in
the mix early last year, and every week he got
better every game. This is game four is better than
Game four, and he wasn't Game one. And he's a
competitor and he's as tough as I've ever had. Third

I think that's a request by Yeah. I think that's

I don't want to be closer with him. Really, that's
why I'm paid for his rent. You have to stay

(01:06:30):
tweet and I will read it to you. My friend
Mike Kent on Twitter, why are my Packers getting no
love from you guys two and oh beating the Bears
and Vikings and being two and oh in the division
and the defensive number two right now in the NFL.
He's just like our guy Chris p with the pinch
striped Steinburner underwear. This is another one of those fan boys.

(01:06:53):
I mean, come on, really, stopping already with the fan
boy like, it's just funny to me there, two and oh.
That's it, you know, like, what do you mean, what
do you what's up with no love? Like I don't
know that we've given them no love. Aaron Rodgers is fantastic.

(01:07:14):
It's just this offense is inconsistent right now. That's not unfair.
And although you're two and oh, which is great, you're
still undefeated. That's all that really matters. It hasn't been
a work of art to the point where it's like,
how in the world can't you shower this team with praise? Well,
that's why, because it hasn't been great. It's been good enough,

(01:07:35):
but going forward, we we don't have a true sense
of where they are just yet. You go back to
that first game against the Bears, and Aaron Rodgers said
it best. He was saying to Michelle Tafoya is like,
we got a defense, and he's just smiling ear to ear,
like we got a defense and they they've shown great
defense so far. But I just want to see more
consistency from the offense. That's not hating, that's not you know,

(01:07:58):
short changing them on props or anything. That's just where
they are right now. That's all. My question to Mr
Mike Kent is his follows. We just say he's getting
no packers are getting no love. What do you mean
by love? I mean, tell me what you want? You
say it respect the two record, I mean, but it's early.

(01:08:19):
Let me see what you got really, let's check check
it out in two more weeks, we'll see what they do.
Let's look at the schedule. Okay, they got Denver today,
they'll beat Denver. Then they got Philly. They go on
to Dallas. That's a toughie. They'll beat Detroit, to beat
Oakland the seventh of October at Kansas City, a night game.
That's a biggie. Let's see what they do there. I mean,
no love. What do you want for you want? Are

(01:08:40):
a super Bowl team? I don't think so. I don't
think they're a super Bowl team. Are they a playoff team? Possibly?
I think they are a playoff team, not a super
Bowl team. Right. Well, it's just I can understand being
a fan, I get that. But if you look critically
at the Packers the week one perform them and it
was good enough against the Bears. That was hardly a

(01:09:02):
work of art. Offensively, it was just an ugly, ugly
game Andy terrible. Yeah, and then last week, I mean,
you benefited from Kirk Cousins throwing an idiotic pass, So
you've really benefited from quarterback incompetence in the first two weeks,
where Mitchell Drobiski was brutal and Kirk Cousins was actually

(01:09:23):
worse last week. And I wouldn't put that only on
the Packers defense. Some of it's just horrible decision making.
So like we don't have to go on a diet
tribe here, but for the overly sensitive fan, that's like,
where's the love for my team? It's you guys have
not been stellar the first two weeks. You two and
all that matters the most. But that's why you're not
gonna get showered with praise, that's all. And that's totally fair, right,

(01:09:48):
Thank you enough. We gave Mike can't too much, too
much time. By the way, we we touched on this
Giant Tampa Bay game a little earlier. Today Giants went
two going without the Tampa Bay one on one and
by the way, the Giants a but leave a getting
six in that game. Lest be the Giants lose to
the Bill four teen Tampa Bay beats Carolina. It's an
ugly game, but there's a story to this game because

(01:10:08):
the Giants spent e line manning for rookie Daniel Jones today.
And I say so soon. We didn't expect it now,
I mean all everything we heard out of the Giants
camp early on, you know, Daniel Jones is gonna learn.
It's gonna take time. Now, all of a sudden game three,
Daniel Jones starting, and I don't like the way they
treated Eli. I think it stinks. I think the Giants
should have given him a day. I know, I know,

(01:10:29):
I just don't like it. They should give him a chance,
maybe even to go to a contender. There's a lot
of teams out there that could use a good backup,
like the Steelers, the Saints that could use an e
line manning. Right, did they give him op. That's not
doing him justice. Is to what trade him to a
team so we can be a backup on another team. Well,
he'd be starting now, he'd be starting. Well, it's the

(01:10:51):
deal here, It is, Andy is it's professional sports. And
the whole thing about treating Eli properly and what do
you want to do, Like he's older now, he hasn't
been getting it done. So you get benched for the
sixth overall pick the young guy who's the first round
draft pick. That's the way it goes. You know, that's
professional sports. It shouldn't happen a long time ago for

(01:11:14):
Eli Manning. If anything, he's lucky it took this long
for them to finally replace the guy. To his credit,
he hasn't cried. He is a yelled screen. He hasn't
done anything. I love Eli Maning, I really do. And
I will tell you this much. And I'm gonna make
you you go crazy. Your head's gonna spin around. He
is a Hall of famer. He will be in the
Hall of Fame. Two Super Bowls. He will be in

(01:11:35):
the Hall of Fame. That's gonna make my head spin
around Against that. I didn't think. You know, there's a
compelling argument to make against Eli being there, but he's
ultimately going to get there. He's had two Super Bowl rings,
two Super Bowl m vps, went head to head against
the Brady lead Patriots and walking time, and you can

(01:11:56):
sit here and say defense had a lot to do
with it. They did, absolutely, But when you have two
rings and a lot of individual passing numbers over his career,
were you looking at him compared to other Hall of famers?
He's going to get in. We could spin our tires
and say he shouldn't be there, but he's going to
be there, So that's all that really matters. I just

(01:12:19):
I pushed back on this. They should have treated him
with more respect. They they did when Ben McAdoo benched
him a couple of years ago. He was on the
right track, but they kept him around all last year
and now finally in Week three with Daniel Jones sixth
overall pick, he's holding the clipboard. This should have happened
a long time ago. So what happens if Daniel Jones

(01:12:41):
today has four I N T s? Does Elie Manny
come back again? Are we finished with Eli Manny? It's over?
His His career is finished now pretty much I mean,
Daniel Jones would have to absolutely be a complete and
utter train wreck close to being ready to perform Jeff Yet. No,
he's not going to be bench. He's gonna be the guy.

(01:13:03):
They gotta find out what they have and give him
some seasoning. Take their lumps with the kid. That's where
they're at. He's at least a chance to have a future.
Too old to have a future. Take your lumps with
the young kid, and hopefully it pays off down the road.
That's where you're at. And you know what I said
that weeks ago with the Dolphins when they said they're

(01:13:24):
gonna stuff, it's it's magic. And finally Rose is gonna start.
I mean, if if he's the future, the futures now,
Fryan Fitzpatrick is not your future. Josh Rose is the future. Hey,
he'll take his lumps, He'll eat some grass on the turf,
so what, that's what happens. But you gotta learn, Yeah, exactly,
it's the same thing. It's Daniel Jones and Josh Rosen

(01:13:46):
there in the same boat. You gotta throw him in there.
Hopefully they perform well, and whatever lumps you take, it's
gonna let the Dolphins know Hey, if it's bad, we
need to draft a quarterback. Highly the Giants they take
their Hopefully he gets better down the road. I like
Daniel Jones. I think he's gonna be aback. I'm with you.

(01:14:06):
I have no problem with Daniel Jones playing. I just
don't like the way Eli. I think there should have
been a little more pomp and circumstance when Eli left,
like a day day. I just think he so much
for the city. What do you want? I mean, just
maybe you know whatever an Eli meaning day do something
for the guy. It's just like, hey, Eli, there's the

(01:14:26):
there's the room, get the hell out. There's the door,
and don't let it hit you in the way around
on the way out. That's sports. Joe Montana right like
he's out of a gig in San Francisco or Brett Farve.
That's the way it goes. I know Father Time is undefeated,
so as an organization you have to plan accordingly. And

(01:14:47):
the Giants are so no like Andy, there's no this
isn't like you know, Eli Manning is a nine year
old and we gotta, oh gosh, we gotta be sensitive
to sport. Eli Manning is handling it better than I'm
handling it. He's doing a great right. I know, I'm
yelling and screaming for whatever. I look, Eli Manning wouldn't

(01:15:09):
know me. If I was the only guy in the room,
he wouldn't know me. But I just don't think it
was right because I like to do things the right way.
I think it should would have been the right Why
I think that give him the opportunity, say Eli, maybe
release him, let let him, let him retire so that
he completely kick him out of the Let him retire,

(01:15:31):
don't release let him retire. He'd be better if retiring.
Say he's retiring that the stag clipboard. He's a man.
He could retire like that. Your your examples of the
right way. It's it's the worst case than then they
could have said. They could have called him and say, look,
the Steelers are looking for a for a backup. Bends down,
Drew Brees is down. He's not future there either, nobody Whalers.

(01:15:57):
Why would they play Eli Manning over Mason rude Off
Because right now he's a band aid with experience and
basically maybe he could help them more so than than
Mason Rudolph can. He's not any better than Mason Rudolph
right now, So you might play Bason Rudolph and see
if he might be your quarterback of the future. Mason

(01:16:18):
Rudolf is a question mark. Eli Manning is approven, is
what it's that two thousand seven anymore than he's not
the same guy at all I get. I would say this, Andy,
I think the Steelers would be out of their minds
if they had Eli Manning. Let's just say, let's play
crazy Eli. Eli was released and the Steelers picked him up.

(01:16:43):
I think it would be a bad move to play
Eli's basically the same situation over there in Pittsburgh that
it is right now in in New York. Let's go
to New Orleans for sick. Would you have Eli Manning
filling in for Drew Brees or Teddy Bridgewater. Well, I'd
rather have Eli, but Teddy Bridgewater. I don't think he's
the future. I don't think, but you would you should

(01:17:03):
play Teddy to see if he can be Like, I
wouldn't play Eli over Teddy because I would find out
if he's my guy going forward. Like, here's the thing, Andy,
Eli isn't good anymore. That's the bottom line that you're
glossing over he isn't good anymore, So get out of
this mindset. He's the guy that could get it done.
He isn't. He isn't. We move on. I'm an Eli

(01:17:25):
Manning guy. I like Eli. He's my guy, all right.
He's Brian No. I'm Andy Ferman with Fox Football Sunday.

break to sleep. Betty, Hey, good morning, gentlemen, fell asleep?
But the wheel? What kind of intro is that? Vinny
to take him to task on that one? Well, I
would take him to task. But unfortunately for you, Brian,
he went five and oh this week and Brian, oh,

(01:18:38):
you went on five? Are you disagreed on every pick?
Every single pick you guys disagreed on. I'm hot and
and he's the big winner this week? All right, So
we got a lot of We got a lot of
things to get to this this week in a short
amount of time. I am playing, uh, we're doing my

(01:18:58):
fantasy team against Nick Wright, who is a technical producer.
You do it, all right, rams total team sacks against
Cleveland over under a three and a half, give me
the over over all day, It's gonna happen. That Brown's
offensive line is all right. Moving on, Sammy Watkins, I've

(01:19:20):
got total number of catches against the Ravens and over
under of six and a half. Who you got over
under you're intimidated now, no, no, no, no, you are
six and a half. That's a lot of catches. Give me,
that's a lot of catches. But we'll see he he
bawled out a little bit last week, so we'll see

(01:19:43):
what's going on, all right. Tarik Cohen total yards against Washington,
I've got an over under a thirty nine and a
half rushing yards total yards total yards. Gosh, I gotta
take the over in that one. I think David Montgomery
is gonna have a big game. But give me the over.
That's that's low for to I got the under, I
got the under. Look at you just out of Spike.

(01:20:03):
He's gonna disagree on everything this week, all right. Next
one up, Aaron Rodger t Aaron Rodgers T D passes
against the Broncos over under of two and a half over,
two and a half over. You know what under? Oh?

(01:20:25):
You are intimid day. Somebody's working on an over five
and a five par oh, because we're getting nothing but
disagreements here. Last one, Todd Gurley total rushing attempts. I've
got an over under of eighteen. I got the under
under under. All right, now we'll see what happens. Now. Next,
you're listening to Fox Sports, go this is a great

(01:20:49):
move for the fans. Will explain that in just about
a minute, but right now to say, wake up America,
it's Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian oh on Andy from

Brian No in the Hour of Power a k a.
The Power Hour, He's the man. Hello, b what's going on?
Andy Firm? It good to be here with you. Irish
came close yesterday, close close, but no cigar, no running game.

(01:21:35):
Too many turnovers by Ian book. So I'm licking my
wounds there. But you cf went down. I love that
because of the horrid UCF logic over the years, pumping
them up and putting them on a pedestal and they
don't belong there. But lots to get to. We got
week three. I'm just fired up, man, I'm fired It
was a great day of ball yesterday. It's gonna be
a great day of ball today. What kind of problems

(01:21:57):
do you have in the world when ball is back? Quick?
One quick statement, because this is what happens when you
wake up on a Sunday morning, usually a little foggy
from a little partying action on Saturday nights. So you're
looking at the sports pages, you're looking at your computer
for scores, whatever it may be. You're listening to us
for scores. This is real, This really happened. U c

(01:22:19):
l A sixty seven, Washington State sixty three, and Anthony Gordon,
the quarterback for Washington State through for five seventy yards,
broke the school record at nine touchdown passes for w
s U and now three and one. However, they lose,
and they were up big time. They were up, and
they lost the game. They were winning seventeen and the

(01:22:41):
third quarter and U c l A came back, And
like you said early on, as I mentioned in those
notes which I wrote down, in the long haul, this
is a good move for the Pack twelve for the
short term, not a good deal. But WSC was ranked
nineteenth in the country and they're not gonna be ranked
this week, right Like uh, it's it's good for the
conference over the long haul. If U c l A

(01:23:04):
and USC come back and they're respectable and there are
a couple of the top teams in the conference because
the USC they're the rock stars of the conference, and
them taking down Utah, that's good over the long haul.
If the if USC is on the right track, but
for the short term, Utah had a shot to possibly

(01:23:25):
go to the playoff if they run the table. So
that conferences cannibalizing each other to a degree. And you
saw that last night where yeah, over the long haul,
that's that's a good sign. If you can keep Chip
Kelly there at u c l A. And there have
been grumblings that he might not be there for the
long haul, that's a big win last night, huge comeback,
erased a thirty two point deficit. That's his signature wind

(01:23:48):
by far at u c l A. So that's good
over the long haul, But short term, you've got Mike
Leach and ranked Washington State team going down. So like
who's the rock star of the pack twelve right now?
It's probably by default now Oregon because Washington loses to
Cal you had Utah lose to USC, So it's probably

(01:24:09):
the Ducks again even though they have a loss and
they went down to Auburn. Washington State plays Utah next week,
so one of those two will be going down again.
It's crazy. You know who went down? The gamblers in
this game. The betters in this game took a beating
big time. Well, if you're if you're going with a favorite,
you sure did because erasing a thirty two point deficit,

(01:24:33):
Holy cow. And I think we gotta give props to
Dorian Thompson Robinson. He made a lot of plays the
u c l A quarterback. He had some great throws.
And I mean it's not all praise for U c
l A. You gotta look sideways at Washington State with
the costly turnovers, the way too many turnovers Esop Winston Jr.

(01:24:55):
With a huge fumble. It would have been second and
one towards the end of the game a couple of
minutes left. If Washington State gets the first down, it's
close to be in game over. And he fumbled the
ball and gave you c l A a chance and
they took advantage. Man, crazy game, Crazy game. Gordon throws
nine touchdown passes and Washington State still lose. Let's go

(01:25:19):
to the big boys. Now, let's go the national football
The big question when the O and two Steelers played
at the forty nine is who are undefeated to an
OH today? Because look, Ben Roethlisberg is gone. Last week
the Steelers lost in Seattle. The forty nine is banged
up on the Bengals seventeen. So they're going with a
second year man out of Oklahoma State, Mason Rudolph. The

(01:25:41):
Steelers are skin. Rudolph's fast for like hundred plus yards
at Oklahoma State. He when the Johnny and His Golden
Arm Award in seventeen. He's big, like man, he's six five,
but remember he played in the Big twelve, which is
no defense in that conference. It's all offense. So we
see what happens with a big question for the Steelers,
not so much the quart aback position, the running back position.

(01:26:02):
James Conner two games rushes fifty four yards. They gotta
pick that up a little bit. Well, yeah, they gotta
pick it up a lot. And how about Mason Rudolph
and James Washington. That was the quarterback wide receiver combo
at Oklahoma State. So we'll see if this helps out.
James Washington, who showed signs in the preseason, had a

(01:26:24):
good preseason. But for the forty Niners, no Joe Staley,
he's out, So you lose your left tackle over there,
and we'll see. We'll see what they can do going forward,
not just today, but the forty Niners. It's a nice
start to the season, but can you maintain this? Like

(01:26:45):
this is where it shows where the forty Niners are.
This should be with a untested quarterback, unproven quarterback filling
in for Big Ben, when the Niners are at home
and their favored If you're a if you're a team
that's been established, this is like, oh, yeah, we love
the Niners, love them today? And I pause. I paused

(01:27:05):
when it comes to the Diners because they haven't built
up that credibility just yet where at least I feel
very comfortable saying, oh, they're gonna get it done. They've
got the Steelers on the ropes. This is a game
where you've got to win it to get that type
of respect and that Um, I don't know what you
would say that that comfort level taking a team. I

(01:27:27):
just I'm not there yet with them, are you? Are
you comfortable with the Niners just yet? I'm comfortable with
the Niners today because Ben Roethlisberger is not playing. That's
why I'm comfortable with them today. Am I comfortable for
the long haul? Not really. Pittsburgh is getting six and
a half today. I don't know if I take Pittsburgh
with the six and a half I just don't know.
I still like San Francisco to win this game because

(01:27:49):
it is in San Francisco. But you gotta feel. You
gotta feel for the Steelers because last year they were
surrounded with all this controversy with Antonio Brown and Levan
Bell not playing. This year, they have all this banged
up situation. So for two years in a row, they've
gone down the cropper as far as you know, being competitive,
if you blow. But I will tell you this much,

(01:28:10):
if you're a steel A fan, you gotta say, you
know what, at least this ball club, this organization is
not packing it in. What do I mean by that
they trade at a top draft pick for safety Minka
Fitzpatrick and Adolphins? That the Dolphins are packing it in?
They no doubt about that they did. The season is
over for the Miami Dolphins. But the steel A fan

(01:28:32):
that the organization is telling their fans this season is
no over. They still have a shot that sends the
message that would rather play with a solid commodity then
take a chance with the draft pick. So Fitzpatrick, I
don't care like make sound decisions. I don't care that
you're just trying. That's fine, that's great, but you've got
to make good decisions, and I don't know that this

(01:28:53):
is going to be a good decision because you might
need that first round pick potentially if Mason Rudolph isn't
the guy, because we know Big Ben's not gonna last forever.
He's towards the end, So you might end up regretting
this decision. So I don't I don't sign off. Well,
they're going for it, they're trying. It's I don't care.
I don't care that you're going forward or trying. I

(01:29:15):
care about making sound moves that lead to winning. Okay,
guarantee that's gonna lead to winning your exactly, but if
there's no guarantee, and what they're telling me, at least
what I read into this move is that they rather
take someone with a uh an NFL experienced player then
take a crapshoot gamble with a draft pick. That's what

(01:29:35):
I'm saying, and that they could have packed it into.
They could have packed it in, and I think if
you're a fan of the Steelers, there's a little bit
of a ray of hope. And are they gonna win anything,
I don't know, but there's a ray of hope there's
no ray of hope. There's no I think if you, well,
I don't know about that. They're not gonna win. They're
not gonna there's a serious they're even gonna get to
the playoffs. Are they doing anything significant with Mason Rudolph

(01:29:57):
come playoff time? We'll see today. No, they'll see what
he does today. No, no, they're not. We don't even
know if they're gonna get to the playoffs, Sandy. But
to sit here and be like, well, we don't know
if it's no, we know it's over. Their season is over.
They're not doing anything significant this year come playoff time,
if they're even there, I would be shocked if they
beat the forty Niners today. But if they do, if

(01:30:21):
they beat the Niners yet, we don't want to close
the book on the season. Come on, the season is over.
It is a rap significant. Let's look at the schedule.
They're gonna beat the forty Niners today. I really think
they will. All right, So there's a win to one
and to a minute, Wait a minute, you went from
you'd be shocked if they win to you think they're
gonna win. I think they're gonna win. I think they're

(01:30:43):
gonna win, all right, all right, so they win today
one and two. Next week they host on a Monday
night game the Bengals. They'll beat the Bengals in Pittsburgh.
Then October six. That's a toughie. We don't have to
go week by week season finito. No, they're done. They're
not gonna do anything. Look at what they've done two

(01:31:05):
weeks they lost by thirty points with Big Ben. Okay, like,
forget all this happy go lucky, Well, we don't. We
know it's over. They're not going to see anything significant
this year. Are thing about New Orleans? The absolutely not, because,
like look at the difference Big Ben's done for the year.

(01:31:26):
You've got the Saints with Breeze with the thumb injury.
He's supposed to miss six weeks. You've got five out
of six divisional games after Breeze is supposed to be back,
so you still have a chance to win the division.
Look at the Panthers without Cam Newton. Look at the
disaster that is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Look at the Falcons.

(01:31:47):
They're a good team, but they're not unbeatable. So the
divisions wide open. Like, compare that to the Steelers, who
Big Ben's gone for the year. It's not even close.
It's after division. That division be won by the Boltimore
Ravens agreed, we don't win that division. I like the Ravens,
but I think, what do you think. I think it's

(01:32:09):
a toss up between the Ravens in Cleveland. I think
that the Ravens. If you had to pick today, I
would pick the Ravens. But no, I don't think it's
by any means decided yet. No. Al right, will you
say it's a three team race? Steelers season is done?
You're gonna eat those words. No, I'm not going to
eat and make sure you understand what I'm saying. As

(01:32:32):
far as doing something significant in the playoffs, that's what
I'm telling you. If they're gonna make the playoffs, but
if they did, if they snuck in somehow, they're not
doing anything this year. That's all I want. Do you
to hear, to hear from you that you're not ruling
out the possibility of them making the playoffs. No, I

(01:32:53):
wouldn't completely out. That's okay, That's all I wanted to hear.
That's the only to hear. But their chances they're slam
on with you that we agree. We agree, all right?
That sounds great. By the way. By the way, quick nugget,
quick nugget, Yes, San Francisco one twelve and one against
the spread their past fourteen games as a favorite. Okay,

(01:33:17):
that's what I mean. The Niners, they're trying to get
that respectability. They're trying to be one of these teams
in the mix. It's a game today where it's like
you just gotta take care of business against the beat
a bold teams, the teams that you should handle. So
we'll see if they can do that today. Curiously, see
what what happens with you. We're in the same page
right now. But they're dull. Don't stop it, all right?

(01:33:40):
You get to us on Twitter if you're a steel fan,
let me hear from let me hear from the fan
boys in Pittsburgh. That's what I want to do. Get
us on Twitter. At the Nose Show and then we

a new quarterback means bad news, and we'll explain that
next hard to stop at home. We'll get to that

(01:34:22):
It is Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian Ohm, Andy Ferman.
Bottom of the hour, eight thirty Eastern time. The Sheik himself,
Alex Marves, Fox Sports Radio's NFL Inside, will join you.

I will tell you it is my friend. If the
bull the more at Kansas City game is the number
one game of the day, which I think it may
very well beat. The number two games of the day

(01:35:06):
probably are the New Orleans Saints at Yes No Sunday
Sunday Night, MS said day I said day game day. Well,
it's dark. It's dark at nights. It's not day daylight, daylight,
the daylight, okay, under the daylight, day you got. You

(01:35:30):
got the Saints that one and one, Seahawks at two
and oh and in this game, we have New Orleans
getting four and a half, four and a half in
this game. And the last week the Saints lost not
once but twice. They lost twenty seven nine at the Rams,
and they lost at quarterback Drew Brees to a thumb
injury for about six weeks. Uh So, last week the

(01:35:51):
Seahawks beat the Steelers six breeze. If he were to
play today, he hasn't won a game in Seattle since
oh seven, Teddy Bridge, what it got to start? I
think I think we'll get to start today, right, Yeah,
he will, he will. Taysom Hill, He's gonna get some
playing time. And I wouldn't be surprised while breezes out
if Taysom Hill, I think he's gonna start multiple games.

(01:36:13):
I think it's gonna happen. Andy, Well, let's see what
happens here. But no doubt today Taysom Hill is gonna
get some action where you're gonna throw some passes. But
I mean you got Ziggians is supposed to be back
alongside Jadevian Clowney. That should help out that Seahawks pass rush.
But I just I don't like the Seahawks offensive line.

(01:36:34):
Where listen to this stat Their offensive line has a
pass block win rate of thirty three percent this season.
They just win thirty three percent while pass blocking. It's
the second worst in the NFL. Russell Wilson has been
sacked eight times, already third most in the NFL. So
I don't love those numbers when you're thinking about covering

(01:36:57):
the number at home the Saints. I think their offensive
line is gonna play a lot better this week than
last week. They were dominated. Sean Payton has been after
him said they got whooped. I think they perform a
lot better today. And when you have Michael Thomas Alvin Kamara,
their defense is very capable of getting after the quarterback.
I think they keep it close today. I would take

(01:37:18):
the points and go with the Saints on the road. Well,
I would say this, and and maybe my logic is war,
but I will tell you that the Seahawks number one
are always tough at home, and I gotta believe it's
gonna be even tougher for the Saints in Seattle without
Drew Brees bottom line right there. So I think the
Seahawks win this. Uh do you have them covering though? Uh? Yeah,
I do, Actually I do. I do have the covering.

(01:37:41):
Put that on bottom barrel betting tot. You know what
that really is under your crawl that you lost that? No, no,
it's all good. I don't like going winless, going oh
in five that stinks. But no, I don't think you
ever have Well that's got that off the to do
list this fast week. That was brutal man. Yeah, okay,

(01:38:04):
so so now I mean, so let's let's move on
because since you said this is the second best game
of the day, Rams at Browns and Cleveland is gonna
be three and a half and this one, you know,
I'll go into a little delve into it with you
a little bit. What do you say? All right, let's
do it. Let's do this game because I kind of
like the Browns. I kind of like the brownste I

(01:38:28):
you know what I think. I'm I'm speaking with my heart.
I'd like to see them win. No, no, no, I'm
just saying in this game, nothing personal I just hate
the matchup. Their offensive line stinks. They're old line is bad,
and the Rams defensive line. You see what they did
last week. I know you watched the game what the
Rams d line did to the Saints offensive line. The

(01:38:49):
Saints could not block them. But Donald, he doesn't have
a sack yet. Are in Donald still has no sacks
on person. That's going to change. He may not play,
he'll be in there. I know he's got the back
injury and all of them. It's still their edge rushing
has been very good and the offensive tackles of the
Browns have been bad. So I'm going Rams in this

(01:39:11):
game really well, you know you know what I just
I just look at the weapons. The Browns have an
office put it together. If they could put it together, Andy,
you gotta have an old line. It's not a seven
on seven drill, which I know you realize. You've got
great skill position players, got all kinds of talent to
throw to. But Baker Mayfield, he doesn't make the greatest decisions.

(01:39:32):
He's inaccurate too often, and he's under pressure too often.
That's a bad offensive line. The tackles are not good.
I'm telling you they're gonna have a tough time against
the Rams. I don't see him getting it done. Yeah,
and Mayfield's already got three picks this year. I mean really,
it's it's it's gonna be tough. But I will tell
you this much. I don't think the Browns should they lose,
and they probably will lose, but I'm already front of

(01:39:53):
the wind. I don't think they lose by double digits.
I don't think. I think they keep it somewhat close.
I got the Rams cut bring nine is three and
a half on the road. I know sometimes oftentimes the
sucker bet to take the small road favorite, but I
just I don't think the Browns are ready for prime time.
I don't think. I don't think so. When you get
dominated in the pits, think about this too, Andy. They

(01:40:16):
lost at home by thirty points to the Titans. You
see the Titans on Thursday night scored seven points against
the Jacks. That's the team who rushed the Browns. Yeah, yeah,
I I did see that. But you know what I
would say this, it's uh, it's funny because I'm watching
Odell Beckham Julie the catch he made the one handed

(01:40:39):
catch the other night. I mean, really, and truly. I mean,
it's just I just enjoy watching that team play. They're
an exciting team to watch. And you know what, you
know what, they might lose today, and they probably will
lose to the Rams. Rams are a great team. But
I will say this, I'd like to see the Browns
win the division. I'd love to see that. But here's
the thing. Should they lose again today, and they probably

(01:41:00):
they will, it's somewhat expected. But all that hype that
we heard in July about the Browns, where is it now?
How come no one's saying I told you so? Or
where is I mean? The air has gone out of
the balloon. Right, they've lost by thirty points in Week one,
but very ordinary performance again, but they've gone away. It

(01:41:21):
was hype pie pie pie pipe. You know, they're going
to the super Bowl, and now they one and one,
they got destroyed by Tennessee. And then no one's saying
I told you so. Well, they're not that good then
not ready for prime time. You don't hear a thing
that they've gone away. You don't even thing about the
Browns that that's totally not true. And do you hear
a lot about the Browns like they're one of the

(01:41:42):
most interesting teams in football. I understand, but I don't
hear the hype. I don't hear negative remarks about I.
I it's kind of like they're in the storm mode.
I think people are waiting to see where they go. No,
and I just don't think you're listening to a whole
lot of sports talk and that's the case. They're getting crushed.
They were a training super Bowl pick and they got
bold dozed by thirty points in week one, and they

(01:42:04):
were They're probably the most talked about team the Browns were.
So it's not as if we're not paying attention to him.
We're talking about and talked about like crazy. What we'll
see what happen because next week they read Baltimore. So
they lose today, they could lose back to back games surely,
and then all of a sudden, then they'll get crushed.
Then they then the crushing will begin. That it's begun, Andy,

(01:42:28):
it's been happening. No, not thirty in week one is
a super Bowl's favorite, all right, Like they've been getting
crushed and deservedly so. They got smacked around pretty good
after that loss. But it's not a continuous crush as
opposed to the continuous hype that how good they wore Indy.
They just won by twenty. Okay, this wasn't the week
to crush them. Okay, Okay, we'll hear, we'll see what happens, alright,

(01:42:51):
Brian No, Andy Ferrman, We're not here to crush anybody.
We have Fox Football Sunday and Alex Morvez is gonna
tell you if your team as a real shot at
the playoffs. That's next the first to Big B. Brian
Finley with the latest what's going on guys. ESPN is
reporting Teddy Bridgewater will be the featured quarterback for the

(01:43:11):
Saints today as the team tries to make do with
an injured Drew Brees. NFL Network is reporting former Vikings
first rounder Mike Hughes, coming off a knee injury, will
have his season debut today against the Raiders. She's running
back Lashawn McCoy, who aggravated his ankle last week, is
a game time decision, and hope is brewing he'll start. Hey,

How the hell could I be your father if I've
never met you're a deadbeat dad. You walked out when
he was a young in never stepped foot back in state,
brought you together with the same radio show and you
don't have the decency to even see him and no
dead beat dad? That did you? Did you get the
checklist week? Yeah? It was like two dollars. Thank you

(01:45:01):
very much for see. I have a great Alas is
coming right up. He's probably Nomandy from and welcome back
everybody to the Fox put Judio Studios, brought to you
by Geico. It's easy to see fifty more on our
insurance with Geico. Gotta Geico dot com O call eight
hundred nine four seven nott The only hard part figuring
out which way. It's easy and nose picks in less
than ten it has been. Now is time to go

(01:45:22):
to the Fox Sports Celebrity Hotline, the one, the only,
the Chic Alex Marvez with no one from a Hello Chic,
how are you? Good morning, gentlemen, A great day for
my Florida Gators on Saturday. I actually got to attend
the festivity the Florida Field as well, so I'm having
a fabulous morning so far. Hopefully you both are doing
the same. Did you see the Tennessee player who tried

(01:45:42):
to answer the phone by putting the entire phone up
to his ear? No, I was in the stand. Did
he put the entire phone, the whole thing, the whole
thing up to his ear. And he's like, I don't
understand why this isn't working. It's because you're not doing
it right. That's why I think they they needed, they
need a call for help. I can't believe with that
pro it is becoming. And you know, look, good luck
to the coach frew and Jeremy Frewer trying to get

(01:46:03):
it together. But I mean, this is just you know,
it's remarkable to me and Andy you know this. I
mean players like Carl Pickens and you know, Odd Kelly
and guys in the nies and eighties, I mean and
Peyton Manning and all these glue shift guys they used
to have. And now I mean that's that. I mean,
I know, by the way, she we got the Dolphins,
the Redskins, the Giants, the Bengals, the Jets, the Broncos,

(01:46:26):
the Steelers, the Panthers, all owen to who has the
best shot in that group with the two losses for
the postseason. You know, I'm thinking Carolina as groopy as
this is, but it depends upon when Cam comes back.
And I say that just because the NFC South is
so muddled. I mean, what we have here Atlanta, I

(01:46:46):
mean hardly impressive last Sunday night against Philadelphiegos. They won
the game, and kudos to them, but I'm just not
feeling that this is a very good team right now.
Maybe they'll improve enough that they can maybe take command
in this division. But with Drew Brees out for you know,
six James, potentially, that's something that you know, it is
obviously gonna affect the Saints potentially. I mean, they're gonna
have to sue a show that they can overcome that.
Starting today in Seattle. We don't know what Tampa Bay is.

(01:47:09):
I mean, you know, there's so far. I mean, you know,
they had one bad game against San Francisco and they
looked okay against Carolina, held out at the end. But
this is a division that's there for the taking, you know.
So I'm one, can the Panthers? Can they weather the
storm without Cam Newton or maybe Kyle Allen, someone who
we know so little about transferred to two different colleges.
You never really did much at the college level, shows

(01:47:30):
some potential that can heally the Panthers starting today against
Arizona Cardinal. But I'm really given a puncher's chance. And
what's in Jacksonville was Owen two and I want to
just make sure that we were not remissed on them
because that defense. If they played like that each week,
I mean, they got a chance in Saxonville to get
back into the postseason. Especially Gardner Minshew like nice job
against the Titans. I want to talk about Antonio Brown

(01:47:53):
with you, Alex, where I've seen some criticisms and heard
where there are people saying was it worth it? Patre
It's and I say, hold on. They acquire this guy,
then the sexual assault allegations come out, and they don't
release him right away. They play him against the Dolphins
while they try to figure out if there's anything to

(01:48:14):
the allegations. I don't think that's a problem. Then he's
a moron for throwing out a threatening text message to
one of the women accusing him of indecent behavior, and
then they released him. I don't see what the problem
is here with what the Patriots did. How what's your
view on this whole thing with them? Well, I mean
exactly listen if you I mean, if we're gonna talk

(01:48:35):
morality or anything like that, I mean that we shouldn't
be talking about with NFL teams, right because they've chosen
that Kalent Trump's all else basically, and you know that's
the case with Antonio Brown. I mean, it was just
silly for red the NFL network report that said, oh, well,
the Patriots didn't know and they might have signed him
had they known that he was going to have a
civil suit against him. Women, why didn't you cut him
after that? You know, why didn't you make him inactive?

(01:48:57):
You know, they didn't care. They just want to win
football games. And that's of how this league is. That's
just it's reality. So for the Patriots, a team that
didn't have they don't have all their eggs in the
Antonio Brown basket. That's the whole thing. That's what I
think separates the Patriots from other teams. And they've shown
that they can move on from this. Bill Belichick knows
how to minimize the distraction, will just mumble through his
news conferences. Players are scared to say anything, and this

(01:49:19):
will just be you know, one small chapter on this
team and in the week everyone will move on to
the next topic. And they're going to be playing the
Buffalo Bills. The Bill seem that should be three and
oh coming in to play them next week if they
take care of business today like we should against Cincinnati.
So I think no harm, no foul in that regard.
I mean, does it further taint the Patriots image for
those who don't like this team? Probably, And but it didn't.

(01:49:39):
It wasn't like Antonio Brown was their only receiver and
that their only winning games because of him. I get it.
They took a chance. It didn't work out, and that's
all because of Antonio Brown himself and his actions. He's
the chick. Alex Marvez Fax Bust Radio's NFL Inside with
Brian Nohm, Andy Furman and Alex Who has the better
chance of winning with the new quarterback? The Saints or
the Steelers? For the wall Hall, Well, which quarterback are

(01:50:02):
we're referring to For the Saints, are were referring to
bridge Water based some hell who started Bridgewater is probably
gonna get the bulk of the quarterbacking duties. I would
think we would say interesting defensive coordinator Andy Furman. Interesting.
I would have to say this though. I mean, in
the case of the Seahawks, you know, I'm sorry of

(01:50:24):
the Saints playing the Seahawks today, you could see a
real interesting mix. I mean, you know, let you go
with Teddy Bridgewater over the over Mason Rudolf because you
have a body of pork and you know that Teddy
can be steady as a starting quarterback. Can he be special?
I don't know, you know, I don't know he was
all that special initially with the Minnesota Vikings, who he
was trending in the right direction before that horrific lug injury.
I can tell you that having a week of practice

(01:50:44):
with the starters is going to mean a heck of
a lot for Teddy Bridgewater because he didn't have that
last week when he went in and played against the Rams,
and and obviously he wasn't wasn't very good. I mean,
give the Rams credit, they played a very good game defensively,
but I mean Teddy Bridgewater should look sharp at today.
For Mason Rudolph, well, I mean, look, the Silers made
a trade, sending a first round pick to the Miami

(01:51:05):
Daltons for Mankea Fitzpatrick to play safety for them, especially
after Sean Davis got injured and it's gonna end up
missing the season apparently with a torn laborum, So they
make a move to help them. Now, I mean, if
they thought that that pick would be a top send pick,
would they be trading for make it Fitzpatrick? Probably not,
So I think they have ate at Mason Rudolph. You

(01:51:25):
know who's gonna be able to get the job done.
Make it that Patrick will be an upgrade to their
secondary and they'll be in the hunt for the playoffs
once again. But you know, all and three is gonna
be a huge hole for the team to try to
dig out of. And they got to be able to
stop that San Francisco running attack. I mean they are
really good and then improved defense. I mean they're playing
so much better. The Bengals twenty five rushing yards on
the ground last week, the lowest total in Cincinnati history

(01:51:47):
since they entered the NFL in a home game rushing yards.
I think one of the best matchups today is the
Texans at the Chargers, and I think it's largely being
glossed over. My question to you is, if you go
back a last week and you see the Texans they
win ugly thirteen twelve something like that, right, and then
you look at the Charges they lose ugly thirteen to ten.

(01:52:10):
We've seen good some bad from both teams so far.
Which team, not necessarily today, but which team for this
season do you feel like you know better than the other?
I think we know what the Houston Texans are. I
think the Chargers could change compassion wise, or Melvin Gordon
returns and not like they're suffering running the football with

(01:52:31):
Austin Ekeler. I mean, you know, Josh Jackson is averaging
what eight point nine yards to carry. It's it's just
crazy what he's doing. A young man from Northwestern, the
seventh round pick from eighteen, and you know, maybe they'll
give him a little bit of extended action. But I
feel like that team when they if they get throwin
James back, is gonna look a lot better. I mean,
they just got some major injury problems right now. Hunter Henry.

(01:52:52):
Can he returned and help them as a season goes on.
When are they going to get their kicker back? Mike
actually doubtful to go today because of a groat injury.
I think with Houston. They got to protect the Shawn Watson.
I mean, NFL history can be made today, Brian. They've
got If he gets sacked four or more times, that
will be the ninth straight game that that had happened,
and that is an NFL record. They've allowed him to

(01:53:12):
get hit back, allowed him to get sacked at least
four times in eight straight games. He is not going
to survive the season. The odds are really against it
if he continues to take a beating. And of course
you know the charges can bring the heat. Good Melvin
Ingram and Joey Boson, there you go. I'll leave you
with this. I think the best game of the day
today Ravens in Kansas City. Can Lamar Jackson torched that

(01:53:33):
Kansas City defense today? I am so curious about this
game because we've seen Lamar Jackson play against the worst
team in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins. We can all
pretty much agree on that. I mean not minus ninety
two points, and I do want to point out that
no team had been been at nine minus nineties something
since the one Oakland Raiders after two games. So this
is uh, this is just a dreadful team. So the

(01:53:55):
Ravens beat them up, and then they play Arizona, which
was the worst team in the NFL in two thousand
and eight. Team on an improved team, yes, but still
not a world beater. So this is the first legitimate
competition that the Ravens get. Two things. Number one is
whether going to be a fact. So there's been some
talk of rain and wind. Is that going to affect
the way that the team's you know, approached this game.
And if it does well, youve gott to feel pretty

(01:54:16):
good about Baltimore's rushing attact with mark Ingram, you know,
and Justice Hille complimenting Lamar Jackson. Maybe for the Chiefs,
you know, la Shawn McCoy not a hundred percent healthy
shoot play Dainty and Williams isn't. And you also have
Eric Fisher out their left tackle. I just want to
see the Ravens fall behind. Can they win to shootout
against Patrick Mahomes? Can they match them point for point?
I just don't. We don't have anybody of work that

(01:54:37):
tells you that. And the Chiefs have now scored what
twenty six or more point in twenty straight games, an
NFL record, I mean, they have been basically unstoppable. What
can the Ravens do to try to make this a
manageable game? If the Chiefs are in the twenties are lower,
I think the Ravens have a legit shot of winning. Otherwise,
forget about it. There's no way I think that the
Ravens can keep up if it's going to be, you know,
point for point on the scoreboard. There's only one winner

(01:54:57):
here today, and that's Alice Morvez, a chic Fox Sports
Radio's NFL in sona we love with the death, enjoy
the games. Get him on Twitter at Alex Marvez and
we'll see you Mazoltov. Next Sunday, here we go, Brian
to forget about it, you know, forget about it. That's
always a winning move. There you go, Brian No, Andy Ferman,

(01:55:20):
we call it Fox Football Sunday, talk about the power
of prayer. Wait, will you hear this? Next nose pics
coming right off. That's Brian No. I'm Andy Firman with
Fox Football Sunday, about eleven minutes before the top of
the hour. And by the way, at the top of
the hour, that will be nine o'clock on the East coast.
Mike Harmon and George Rice to join you on iHeart Radio,

(01:55:40):
on the i Heeart Radio app on Serious x M
Channel three, and of course on many of these same
Fox Sports radio affiliates. But right now, my partner, my
friend Brian No and Nose Picks, are you in desperate

(01:56:00):
need of gambling insights for Brian is here and now
the time is come, Andy Furman, this is when we
shine ball is back winning week last week, two and one,
we're earning cash. Baby, We're gonna keep it going today.

(01:56:21):
I like some overs and some unders. Listen to this.
I've got the Broncos Packers under forty two for the game.
Denver has gone under their past ten games. Is that amazing?
So I'm gonna say the trend keeps going forward. That
Packers defense is good. I don't see the Broncos scoring
a ton of points, and the same goes in reverse.

(01:56:44):
I think that Broncos defense is good. I don't see
the Packers lighting it up. Give me the under forty
two in that ball game. I'm looking at the Jets Patriots.
This game is screaming under forty three and a half.
I don't think Luke Falk is gonna be able to
do anything against that Patriots defense and the Jets get
some of their big time defensive players back today. I

(01:57:06):
think it's gonna be a grinder of a game, something
like twenty two three, twenty three to six, something like that,
but healthy under today. And the last one, I'm going
Panthers Arizona Cardinals over forty five. I know you got
Kyle Allen in there and you don't have a whole
lot to go with, but that Arizona defense isn't very good.

(01:57:29):
And something else, Andy, think about this time of possession
per play. The Panthers number one in the league, twenty
three point one seconds between plays, Arizona number two in
the league, twenty three point four seconds between plays. You
can have a lot of plays, a lot of scoring opportunities.

(01:57:50):
Give me the over forty five in that ball game?
What do you think of those picks? I think that
you've gotta have your fingers and your toast crush today
because you're coming out of an old five but un barreled. Wow,
listen to winn In Cash over there. You're taking cheap shots. Unbelievable. Okay,
what do you have for us this morning? It's time

(01:58:10):
to go your own way. Okay, here, I go get
this and Ohio Churches sign is going viral why for
its tongue in cheek response to thieves who stole the
buildings air conditioning unit. Quote, whoever stole our a c unit?
Keep it? It's hot where you're going, disaccording to the
pastor Gus Brown. How do you like that? I love

(01:58:33):
that Pastor Gus Brown? And Akron Wow, how about that?
It's gonna be hot where you're going like that? Keep it?
That's great. Okay, it might be hot where this guy
is going. Because there was a situation yesterday in the
Cubs Cardinals game. So the Cubs they hit a two

(01:58:54):
run homer late in the game to take a lead,
and a Cardinals fan caught the ball. This is at
Wrigley Field, Okay, Cardinals fan catches the ball and he's
wearing a Cardinals jersey. He holds the ball up, he's
slapping high fives like yeah, I'm the man. He changes
out of his Cardinals jersey andy and puts a Cubs

(01:59:17):
jersey on. I don't know this guy. I don't be
too judgmental, but he's clearly going to hell. Just building
off of your story, he's there's that's the only way
this can unfold. It's hot where he's going to But
that's quickly right that that's just week to wait. You
gotta be wanting. Don't sit on the fence one of
the I'd rather have a fanboy than that clown. Yes,
he's an embarrassment to Cardinals fans everywhere. Obnoxious, outrageous. And

(01:59:45):
here's the one I want to to close it on.
Yes the Tennessee game. Tennessee gets crushed by Florida thirty
four to three yesterday. Did you see their backup quarterback J. T. Shrout.
He tried to answer the entire phone, you know, on
the sideline where they have those push button telephones. He

(02:00:06):
didn't take it off the hook and put it up
to his ear. He put the whole phone up to
his ear. It's bad enough to get beaten down by
thirty one. That made it way worse when this young
kid is trying trying to answer the phone by putting
the whole thing up to his ear. That was great. Well,
it tells you one of two things. He's an idiot
or he's never played before. There's no have to you know,

(02:00:27):
never been in the game to answer the phone. But
with that we close the curtain. Thank you for your time.
Our time is up. We'll see you next week on
Fox Sports Radio. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
