Coode dot com for a free rate quote. Anthony guard
Gonna Lincoln Kennedy as we hang out on a fantastic
sports weekend, a big college football Saturday, the NBA Finals,
the MLB Playoffs, the n f l Ah here I'm cousin.

(00:44):
He is the great, big bleeping like, what's happening? Cause, man,
my man, my man, my brother, my man. Are you
think that? Would you know? Whatever? I'm hanging out with

(01:05):
my man. So it's a good family, good everyone, good everything. Yeah,
yeah whatever. But there's a vot of confidence right there.
It's good to be with you, my man right now.
I was just talking about it yet the other day. Yeah,
it was funny. I was. I was doing to know
it's a big link on the on my local show.

(01:26):
We were we came up a conversation. You often do
you have no idea? Your ears must ring? That's the
old saying where your ears ring? So your ears must
ring at least at least once a week where I
get into big links stories and I just thought it
was people m f am my name. You know we

(01:47):
got today, we got like our it's great sports weekend though,
we got our first big college football today, our first
big college football Saturday. But let me ask you a question,
because I can hear it in your voice. I hear
the trepidation. And this week with all the great sports,

(02:08):
and we'll get into Lakers and Key, we'll get into
the MLB playoffs, and we'll get into of course the NFL,
and we'll get into college football and the whole thing.
But it was a big blower earlier this week when
you know, at least people like me with their head
in the sand got like, you know, pounded because you

(02:28):
saw what's going on with the Titans and the fact
that all of a sudden it rears itself. And then
of course the president gets it. But you know the
fact is that the NFL had to cancel a game
or postponed game, and it'll be postponed until week seven
and then the other uh, the the the Pittsburgh Baltimore

(02:49):
game will be week eight as they manipulate the schedule.
But was the coronavirus lad postponement worries them to you. Well,
it is because at the same time UM for the Raiders,
Darren Waller had a charity event, a golf charity event
to raise money for its foundation on Monday following the

(03:10):
New England game, and there was probably about half a dozen,
maybe ten to twelve players, including the starting quarterback, that
went to the gala and it was recorded and they
didn't have mask on, and it was a gathering there
was longer larger than ten people, was about a hundred,
hundreds of people in there, and it became a big
story for the Raiders and of course Las Vegas because

(03:32):
on the heels of what happened with Minnesota and Tennessee.
Now all of a sudden, you you've got guys that
are on on camera or seen on video um walking
around frattenizing without mask on, and so you know what
I mean. The thing was that there no now there
have been no positive test um for the Raiders, which
is a good thing. Uh none has been reported to

(03:53):
me at least. Uh So the concern is was how
was the NFL going to come down on it? Because
now here's the thing. If you're the NFL, you know
how they are about protecting the shield and protecting the brand.
They've got to make it seem that they're going to
come down hard and the rules are going to get
that much more stringent, so you don't have what's happening
with Tennessee and you know, the Tennessee Titans happened again

(04:15):
to another team or another organization, you know, and so
whether it's fines or suspensions, and it's not suspensions, and
it's been only fine so far, but they've also come back,
you know, around like the NFL did when they were
talking about the Titans, like you can't go anywhere in
your bye week, you can't do all this, you know,
the games when we postponed to this, I mean, all
these things that are happening. And for me, it's it
was it was I was curious because I wanted to

(04:37):
see how the NFL is going to handle it. How
are you gonna handle an outbreak? What's gonna happen if
the players, you know, the players being isolated because in
the facility and around the clubhouses, the players have to
wear those tracer bracelets so they can they can they
can they can you know, trace wherever they've been contact,
trace wherever they've been and who they've been around and
so but this this is always you know, thinking, well,

(04:59):
what happens when they go home, what happens when they
meet their family, what happens when they go to dinner
with your family? And uh, you know, Derek Carr was
on a record He's like, look, man, He's like, I
know it was wrong. We you know, we we're just
hanging out, you know, glad nothing happened. But you know,
Derek Carr had mentioned that, you know, I haven't been
able to take my wife out, you know, for dinner
for a while. And I get it. I do. I

(05:20):
understand it. It's just and again it was one of
those things we were talking about earlier before the season. Logistically,
I was like, I don't know how it's gonna happen.
You've got too many people to manage. How do you
manage it? And so here we are now. But it
was it was sensory overload along with the sports overload.
It was a lot this week, A whole lot this week. Yeah,

(05:41):
it was. It was a lot of fun from a
sports standpoint. And let's begin in the NBA last night,
like to oh, the Lakers go up and the here's
the thing. And we talked about this before and it's
been theme on the show when we talked about the
NBA and the whole bullyball thing and versus small ball,

(06:05):
and Anthony Davis has been the key man. Now, Miami
without Bam, without Tragic, you're just not gonna win. You
got those shot, So you expect the Lakers to win.
The thing is Miami shot the ball? Well, I mean
they play that. They played their hearts out last night,

(06:25):
but we're avery days has been difference? Well, yeah, because
you have that that sort of euro small ball, you know,
passing around, running, cutting stuff like or what you were
talking about with Golden State, that style of ball versus
you know, um, having some bigs that can make some
baskets that can be aggressive. And they didn't have an
answer for it, whether it was Anthony Davis or Lebron
when they played that zone. Um, they were the Lakers

(06:48):
were able to break that zone down because they had
their bigs in the middle and you just didn't have
enough size of content. That's what I looked at last night. Yeah,
that's exactly what it was. Anthony Davis fifteen four wenty
fifteen for twenty and forty minutes, fourteen remounds, thirty two points.
Of course, Lebron was amazing as always, fourteen twenty five

(07:11):
from the field at three threes, nine boards, nine times,
thirty three points and that was it. I mean, you
know that's all you really needed, was you know that
short of great play. And look, I give Jimmy credit.
Jimmy was amazing last night. Played forty five minutes. He
gave you twenty five points, thirteen assists and eight boards

(07:35):
playing all those minutes, being logging all those minutes. Taler
Hero played forty three minutes, and you know they tried,
they tried to do the best. Lena came off the
bench um and for By so you get and for
Bam giving you the big off the betch and he
played well, but he's not he can't guard. Just just

(07:55):
not enough. Yeah, that's just not enough there. I mean
even even the big two of the lake is and
they've got some great support from around and get great
play from the suppodcast. Uh, it just they're just then
too much for the heat. Yeah, and listen, you know
it's funny because if Ben and Dragic are playing, you
know it's I think it's it's a good series. I

(08:17):
think the Lakers still win, but I think it's a
it's a much more interesting series. The bubble thing has
been weird because we're winding down and there's it feels
a bit anti climatic. I guess only because of the
mismatch right now. That is like, because they're gonna unless
you know, the Lakers come in and they're they're you know,

(08:40):
they just played down for a game. It's just sweet. Well,
yeah it should be. I mean, I thought the Lakers
gonna drop Game one, but I still had them winning
the series and five, you know. Yeah. But but the
thing is is that it does become somewhat anti climatic
because here's all the stories that we built up towards
this point. You know, whether it was the Clippers involved

(09:02):
with the Lakers in the Western Conference finals, I mean,
even the stories that generated themselves from basketball became somewhat interesting.
You know, Denver's run and and and of course you know, yeah,
and then you know the East breaking down and all
that stuff. But uh, it's hard to it's hard. It's
a hard pill to swallow when you have such I mean, look,
you like, if you like the Lakers. Of course you

(09:22):
love it, but you want to see competition like I
do in the finals. You know, I watched three quarters
of the game last night before I fell asleep, and
it was just out man. They were outmatched Miami. They
did they had no chance. And it was like, okay,
well this this kind of stinks. Let me go turn
and turn and watch the padres for a little while
with the cards. You know, no, let's I dig it.

(09:43):
I dig it. But it was I mean, it's great,
It's great. Roun uh. You know, we'll talk about what
another title and means for Lebron's legacy and I you
know again, three with three different teams. Yeah, that that's
that is the solidifier in Uh. It also puts you

(10:07):
in the argument with Mike. You know it does it
does you don't think so six verses? Three well, three
different teams, host of appearances. Okay, I agree with you, right,
So I mean I'm not having that argument. It's like, look, okay, gotten,

(10:29):
I'll give credit or credits due you know, look, three challenges.
It doesn't Yeah, I agree, I agree with you, right,
Like I'm gonna tell you run off the bat. I
still think Mike's grace have ever seen. I do I
you know, and again having Lebron it two is not
exactly like a slight right my history of the sport

(10:52):
um But I do think it's certainly powers in argument.
I think it's debatable. I mean, my I still tell
me Mike, but I think the resume is is just
amazing for Lebron that you know, you go three different teams,
you're in the COVID situation. You know, look, you're a great, great,

(11:14):
great player. Could you imagine Mike in a bubble? I
mean because it couldn't. You couldn't even couldn't even imagine
a bubble. I could't imagine a bubble to begin with.
But I mean it's not bad when he couldn't he
couldn't stay in the bubble. Well, I mean, my thing
is this is that when you look at the lake
got Lebron, You've got You've got Lebron and you've got
Anthony Davis. You've got two of the best players in

(11:36):
the league. So you don't know what I mean, he
couldn't stay there. I mean from uh, he couldn't survive
in a bubble inside just a bubble. Mike couldn't. Why
you know, Mike well, you know, this kind of thing

(11:56):
kind of forced a bunch of people. I mean, whoever
thought Dwight how would it be? A state above? Right?
Right right? I guess the Lebron. The Lebron, it's so
disciplined that I mean, he's an amazing disciplined athlete, and
you know he's a disciplined person, so which is why

(12:18):
I think it's impressed. Anyway, whatever, it doesn't matter because
I agree with you, so it's not it's a non
real debate. I just wanted to throw gross pedals Lebron's
way because he deserves them. We'll talk about the NFL baseball.
We got everything, man, it's awesome, and of course a
big college football Saturday. That's all straight ahead. The Fellas

(12:43):
looking Kennedy, Anthony Garona just getting started on a sports
Saturday right here on Fox Sports Radio. Good morning everyone.
We are the Fellas. He's Anthony gun I'm like Kenny,
We're coming to you live and the guy co Fox
Sports Radio Studios. Uh As we get you ready for
a sport Saturday. Uh As I was saying in the
last segment, because it's been uh last week was the

(13:04):
sports overload. I mean, I actually kind of like the
baseball playoff days that they did the way they did it,
it was it was interesting, gave me something to watch
that I'm having the TV all the time, and so
and then it was just some pretty good baseball, great baseball.
I gotta tell you, I actually had like a rekindle
moment this week with baseball. Yeah. I love that. I

(13:30):
actually found a happy place this week with baseball. First
of all, I love the eight. Now you don't remember
me saying that I want to expand playoffs, and it's
for this very reason. When you Tuesday, you were Wednesday,
you had eight games, right, Tuesday was the American League.

(13:52):
Wednesday was a l n L. And you had eight
games and they were staggered and it was so much fun.
It was a blast. You know. It was one of
those you know you went old day long staggered starts.
Oh my god, it was great. Pace was it felt

(14:15):
there was that urgency to win. They gotta expand it. Now.
I know they go three, five, seven seven. Right now
you have the division series which is five games. They
just need to be done with the whole concept and
just do seven seven seven seven. But the NBA and NHL,
it's too good even if he did five seven seven

(14:37):
seven mean well, I mean, what see the three games? Like?
I still think baseball now like three better than one
because to be baseball is more about series play. But
the Twins are home, right the twinter I still think
the Twins are better than the Astros. Okay, I still

(15:00):
think you're being two games and the Twins are home.
I mean that don't sound that still doesn't feel equitable
now long if it's a five games series, I feel
a little bit better about it. Seven games series strokes deserved.
I don't know. Man, Yeah, I don't mind the three

(15:20):
games because I feel the sense of urgency is pressing
right now. Now. The one game is is is the travesty.
But three games gives you a chance, especially if you
know it's like you gotta you gotta sense that that failed,
that sense of urgency and play ball right now? Play well,
you know what I mean. You can't. You can't sit
there and say, oh, we dropped to let's win the
next three. I hear you. I just think you play
all those games and then all of a sudden there's

(15:42):
two games you're out because you just went because one
if a team just has two aces right, But the
rest of the rotation blows. Man. Well, it's just, hey,
you're at least you're in the playoffs now, you got
I hear you, I hear you. I will say this.
I just I love did I loved. I just wish
it lasted longer. I guess that's my that's why, that's

(16:05):
why I wanted a little bit more. But listen, I
loved it. It was great. I love the Marlins. I'm
so excited for Miami. Watch. I was rooting, like hell
watching that six though Sanchez, and look the Cubs got
there's at all but the Marlins did. I mean, anybody
who likes the Marlins deserves to have the Marlins just

(16:26):
because of what that franchise has been just dracked, right,
And I'm watching that six though Chances, and I was
rooting like I was rooting for the Marlins. But I
like the car like I like. I just was enjoying
that game, and I enjoyed the series. I did every
one of them. Man, it was it was so much
from the Padres, you know, coming back and Game one

(16:48):
and then put it together last night. How about Fernando
Tattoosse play. My god, he's fantastic man, a great, great
diving catch last night. That is fantastic. My only beef
and you know, again we're tweaking and I'm nitpicking here,
but my only beef is I think you gotta recede.

(17:11):
And I don't like divisions because Dodgers Padres, it's too
good to be now this series, it's gotta be. It's
gotta beat for the NLCS. I mean, yeah, that's I
don't know what I thought it was. When I saw
the playoff picture of baseball. I thought it wasn't treating
the fact that it looked like the Dodgers are going

(17:33):
to have to go through their division in order to
get to the championship. The first, the Giants and then
you know, the Padres whatever, uh, to get it. I
thought that was intriguing. I had not necessarily seen that before. Uh,
and in the playoff brackets, so I can you you
want a little bit more of a scramble and I
kind of see it. Well, not even that, I just
want more equity. I I think the Padres are really good.

(17:53):
Atlanta is really good too. I mean, I'm not gonna
take anything from Atlanta. Atlanta is really good. But I
think the Dodgers and Padres are the two best teams,
and I just think you should recede. Huh sounds like
to me like it should be Dodgers and Marlin's Padres
Braves and then yeah, you go for it. Whoever wins

(18:18):
wins whatever. But it's been awesome, like faggy, good morning.
What's going on? Fellas? Enjoyed baseball? I did, But I
agree with you link talking about the fact that the
three game series I'm not the biggest fan of. If
you're gonna do it this way, uh. One thing that

(18:38):
a guy you know, well, I work with him every day,
Rodney Pete, he brought this up. I think it's be
a good idea if they're gonna do with these wild cards, uh,
in an nd C double A's tournament style where you
play games all day or whatnot. Instead of having a
three game series best two out of three as a
way to reward the team that has the best record,
the team that actually wins their division, how about you
do what the NBA did in the C games for

(19:00):
the fight for the eighth seed. If you're the division winner,
you only need to win one game, and if you're
the other team, you have to win two. I think
that's at least gives the home team or gives the
team that wins the division some type of advantage going
into it, rather than making it just a giant crap shoot. Interesting.
So you wow, that's interesting. So that the lower seed

(19:21):
has to win two games, you have to win one
that at least gives some sort of advantage to What
about the the fact that all the games were at
the home ballpark? Yeah, if that really doesn't do much
for me, especially in this situation, because what stops me
last stops means something to a degree. But also, I

(19:44):
mean if you're talking about a hot picture or just
the game of baseball lends itself to especially we know
that pitching track, so you got a hot pitch or
it doesn't matter where they are. I agree with that.
What do you think about would you be against expanding
it even more so? Yeah? I like it. No, it's
already six teams, more than half the league. That the

(20:08):
number of teams that know the first round games. Anything
that will make it I don't like. I sure don't
like one the one game playing, and I'm not a
huge fan of three either, So I'd rather have five.
Make make it five, just like the n O D.
But yeah, like if you win five seven seven seven, yeah,
I mean, listen, I like the NBA seven seven seven

(20:28):
seven and be done with it. But I mean because
to me, then the good then the better team has
the advantage with the longer series, because now I'm like,
like if I if I got two great pictures, you're
in trouble even though you're a better team than me. Yeah,
and so I think it it it levels, it makes

(20:50):
it fair to the better team the longer the series.
That doesn't. That doesn't I don't. I don't like that
saying it makes it fair to the better team the
longer series. If the better team is a better team,
they should be able to win in the smallert series.
I mean, I understand that, bull, but baseball plays itself
out over a block of games, and I get it.

(21:11):
I just think that you should find a way to
increase the sense of urgency like de padders then they
used like nine pitchers and and the last night. Well,
so whatever strategy you need have to pull out all stops.
I mean, I don't know how how you know making
a series longer is is because you're over the If

(21:34):
you're the better ball player, Baseball's all about math, right, right,
you know that if you play six on your ball, right,
So what it means is basically, over a block of games,
you're gonna be a better team. And so the longer
the series, the longer the block of games, the the
higher the odds that the better team wins. Yeah, Baseball

(21:58):
is a it's a league that you know, outside of this,
you're you're you're in there for the long haul. You're
playing one sixty two. It's a game. It lends itself
to randomness. If you're talking about playing one or two
games to the side after one sixty two games season,
you know I mean that. But again, that makes to me,
that makes it interesting as a fan. I like the randomness. Right.
It's like if the Dodgers somehow would have lost now

(22:19):
they're so good, it's not it would like to me,
it would have been bogus because like the Dodgers, Yeah
that was if the Dodgers get beat in seven game
series by the Braves and it's like these epic games,
Oh well, that's awesome, whatever upsets happened, But like they
should not lose in a one or three game fashion.

(22:41):
Don't like the bogus I just think if you're the
better team, you're a better team. Five is a little
bit more palatable, not even a little bit more, it's
palatable for me to your to your point, Anthony, I'd
rather they just be clear across the board goes seven seven, seven, seven,
But I'd rather do five than three, and sure as
hell three than one. So how about the receiving figure.

(23:02):
You like the receiving because, like to me, I don't
Dodger's Padres. That shouldn't be. I don't like to playing
playing a team in your division in the division series.
I think you should be able to split it up.
I agree, I agree, and let's even worked out that way,
and it's so big, But to me, it should be

(23:22):
clearly like the Dodgers should not have to play the
Padres in the second round. No, no, I'm not a
fan of how that's stacked up. Yeah, you know that
should be. That deserves a seven game series, those two
teams playing against each other exactly exactly, even when baseball
does it does something good, they don't do well enough.

(23:45):
He's the worst commission, he's horrible, he's a dope. It's
amazing to be how just listen, you could be book smart.
You know, God bless you know. You can have the
greatest education to go to the greatest schools. That doesn't
mean you're intelligent. That doesn't mean that you have a
feel for your job. The guy's got no feel. I mean,

(24:08):
come on, and you got no field, dude. But all
that said, because I don't want to bitch your own
fig it was. It's been great ball, man, Oh it
has I loved I did. I will say I love
the opening day of the postseason where there was games
on from from a West coast standpoint from nine o'clock
in the morning till nine o'clock at night. Like I said,
it had a n C double a tournament like field

(24:28):
where you had games literally all day long. It was amazing, fabulous.
It was fabulous, man, it was awesome, really really cool.
It really was figuring some trending. And then we'll continue
to talk about all right, we'll get to the baseball
in a second from Friday. But we did have Game
two of the NBA Finals and it was the Lakers
beating the Heat in Game two on to one fourteen.

(24:49):
Anthony Davis made fourteen of his first fifteen field goal
Let's him finished fifteen of twenty from the field, scoring
thirty two points. Lebrian James let all scores. He had
thirty three points along with nine rebounds and nine assists.
Lakers lead the series two games to none, with Game
three schedule for Sunday. As far as Major League Baseball
talking about those Padres, they advanced to the NLDS after

(25:10):
shutting out the Cardinals for nothing, Eric Hosmer at two
RBI link mentioned a second ago San Diego used nine
pictures to secure that shut out victory. Alston Adams not
to the victory for San Diego. He pitched one third
of an inning, he got one out and got the victory.
Padres will face the Dodgers in the NLDS on Tuesday.
Marlins will face Atlanta in the other division series after
they shut out the Cubs to nothing. And some some

(25:32):
sad news from Friday. Hall of Fame picture from the Cardinals.
Five Gibson passed away at the age of eighty four.
One of the best to ever do it by far,
without a doubt. Man oh man, how about this? He
pitched seven and he's in three World Series games. One
of the starts win eight intings, but his second went
ten and he won game five five two. They came

(25:53):
back on two days rest and worked a complete game
in a game seven win. Unbelievable. Wow, you know what
in sixty eight I think was his legendary season with
a one point one to e r A thirteen complete
games or something. Fire. Yeah, there was a legend. I
don't know if it's ever proven or not that he
took it, had a comeback or off of his leg

(26:14):
and uh and like the first ending of a game,
pitched a complete game and they found out after the
game that he broke his ankle, fracturing his ankle and
pitch the entire game and I'll make him like they
used to us. Yeah, yeah, you got that right, brother,
there he is fig where the fellas Like in Kennedy Anthony,
I got Alive from the Geico Fox Sports Radio studios.

(26:35):
Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on
car insurance. Gude dot com is where you gotta go.
We're all over the place NBA and now we're up
to baseball. It's talking about baseball and it was it
was It was great ball man. How about it last night?
Like you referenced, did the padres with the big comeback

(26:58):
and it was really really fantastic back a game one right,
taties too late bombs and then last night they need
you know, they got no, they're gonna go with a
bullpen game. And so like you said, like you already
won two, three, four or five, six, seven, eight nine

(27:21):
pictures Rosenthal who was throwing gas strikes out this side
against his old team, and uh, they are winning for
nothing a great great, uh, what a terrific, terrific two games,
Carlos hugged up man. Yeah, and it was. It was

(27:41):
a good series there from the start. You know, when
when I saw the game one and the Cardinals one
game one, I was like, Okay, well the Padres are down,
but they to see if they come back. And then
I was just thinking about, you know, the Padres history
historically with elimination games, they don't do well. And on
the other side, the Cardinals do. Uh, just a great
sports organization. And then we saw that was it was
eleven nine. I think it was game too, uh or

(28:04):
something like that, or I mean, it was a great
comeback and it was me he saw the balls hit
out the Grand Slam tattoos Machado, I mean, I mean
it was fun. It was I was entertained, and I
was I was thoroughly entertained with the whole baseball thing
line this past week. That's why I said it was
just sensory overload with the finals and then getting fantastic
all that stuff. Now, it was fantastic. And the earlier today,

(28:27):
earlier in the day yesterday at Wrigley the Marlins, there
was an incredible pitching duel. Again they go head. They
had We've seen some great pitching duels. Uh. In fact, Atlanta,
you saw Atlanta Cincinnati in their game one, and then

(28:48):
yesterday you saw you Darvis. She was fatal. He's really
had a great, great season. He's been a great story
because he's really got his command back. Against a young
pop by the name of six though Santon Jaz who
just throws flat out gas Pedro Martinez says that six

(29:09):
Dough has better stuff than he did. You know, six
tails better than five tails, right, I'm sorry, And I
was thinking about the same thing when I saw the name,
was like, Okay, you can go a lot of places,
but no, it is it was great, and hell, how
about you, you darbish. They held him in there as
long as he could he did this thing for as
long as just could not get any offensive support, and

(29:30):
the wind nothing. I mean, you know, listen, the cubs
were banging. They were close to a couple of times,
you know that, but Matt Joyce to somebody had to
play like it was. It was, it was. It was
great theater and then all of a sudden, on a cold, blustery,
Wriggley type of day, Cooper where you gotta you gotta

(29:50):
crack it to get it out, Cooper drills one and
and Darvish knew it. He saw darvishage. Uh, let that
one get away from It's such a trick. And I
was even thinking about right when it saw the didgress
because Kershall. Kershaw didn't want to come out. He wanted
to off to you do sorry our fellow fellas. Uh,

(30:17):
that's right, Burrshaw was sensation, you know, and the uh
and in the deciding game too, fantasngratulations there, Bershall, thank
thank you, You're amazing. Yes postseason choker, Clayton Kersha, I'll
look at that. It was awesome. It was. It was
a tough of fun minutes to say that I did.

(30:37):
I did. I've been sitting on that it's keeping me awake.
So uh no, but that was that was That was
great to see Kersh his um. He's he's looking sharper
than he has uh in years. Really, he's using his
curveball a lot more. Again, his curveball rate is is
up to now, which it hasn't been there since like

(30:59):
twenty six seventeen. And you know, his curve is one
of the best pitches of all times, so it's great
to see him relying on that again. His slider is
working incredibly well, so it's exciting to see him performed
at that level again in the postseason. It's awesome. Yeah,
it was. It was big time man. He was. He
was fabulous, He really was. He was just vintage vintage

(31:24):
Kershaw man um and looks the Milwaukee stinks and didn't
have any business being in the playoffs. But yeah, you
wondered how would he fair? And you know what he
fares eight strong, three measily dings, no runs are walked

(31:44):
and thirteen strikeouts. Wow right, what what did you think?
What did you think when I saw the highlight of Kershaw?
You know, telling the manage to know because he and
he guess he's making a phone call to try to
pull him and he's like, no, I'm not coming out.
I was I was excited did to see that. It
did bring back some flashes of earlier in his career
and like outings against St. Louis where like you would

(32:05):
say no, no, and then didn't go as well for
him in those situations. So it's very happy to see.
But I I wanted him to stay in in that
in and because he was just rolling so well, and
especially now that in the National League they have the
d H so you don't have to worry about hitting
for the picture and stuff like that. You can you
can you can give them a little bit more of
a leash there and and and let him roll through.
So it was great to see, and it was great

(32:26):
to see the bullpen closing out cleanly. And uh division series,
you're gonna have A's and shrows Yankees raise in the
American like two really great series. The A's are an
interesting squad. They're always that kind of, you know, fun
interesting team. I know you probably have a little bit

(32:49):
of a love for the A's link yeah garlic fries
in Oakland Stadium, but it's not yeah, that is it.
But they again, the whole playoff series has been fun
to watch, it really has. And then Yankees Raised is fabulous.
I you know what a great, great series that's gonna be.
That's another one that should be FIG that should be

(33:10):
seven games Yanks Raise? That's too good? A right? Oh man,
I want to see Pods raised, Dodgers seven games. Wow,
Marlin's Braves too is It is a real good one.
So a little bit later on the show, we'll we'll
break down the future series, but we had to cover uh,

(33:33):
some thrilling baseball. Just like Lincoln. I'm telling you, I
fell in love with and these guys. It was like
Bursch and and and the FIG. I mean, it's just
enthralled by baseball. Look at you, October balls great, he
really is. Chris is our fine sound engineer. Chris. Hello, brother,

(33:58):
don wanna leave you out? Run Mike? Yeah, no, I'm here.
We're good. We're good. I'm not Hi. I just it's
funny listening to this because I had a conversation with
Bursting are coming in and that I feel like I'm
the one to center here burst Shaw excuse me. Wow,

(34:19):
maybe it's me, but I feel like the more any
league expands, it's playoff. It's just I know already we
don't care much the regular season, but I just I
don't know. I I find any kind of playoff series,
especially for a game like baseball, to be incredibly unfair.
Like you know, we're talking about the Twins. You know

(34:40):
they win their division, they're one of the great teams
out and yet you know they can't close out. I
say that because you're an old souls. You it was
up to you, you would go back to are you
winning America? Actually? And you play in the World Series.
I mean maybe it's that. It's it's also I watched
so much soccer out there. It's like, yeah, if you like,
if you're in the Premier League in England, like you've

(35:00):
there is a plan get you get all those games
you win. But that's how it used to be. Yes, exactly, Yeah,
I think that it's what I don't like about Premier League.
But then it makes every time out will continue the
argument ahead, all right, I knew he this is what
you did. You open this door, you did next time

(35:21):
you do that? Warned me? Please? What you I mean?
You know what you're getting yourself into anything? How many time?
What do you do? Yeah, he's a glutton for paint. Link.
That's what it is that warned me to what are
you doing all right? And what are you doing all right?
We'll come back the Fellas. We'll all have a lot

(35:42):
of fun right here on Fox Sports Radio. Fellas Live
from the Guy Coole, Fox Sports Radio Studios. Link and
Kennedy Anthony Going got out of the crew advance to
the n LDS. It's the one thing like I during
the pandemic, I really I got into a lot of

(36:05):
the European soccer. I think it's fantastic and when you
really study the sport and how beautiful because I was now,
I didn't grow up with it, so um, I'm late
comer to the sport. And you know, when you see
it played at the elite to elite level you were,
you know, it is the beautiful game. It is. It's amazing.
But this is and I'm not one that's a you know, uh,

(36:31):
everything we do here is the best and I'm you
know again, I look at it. Some things we do great,
some things we don't. Some things that prefer the European way. Um,
in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to food,
I prefer the European way, but be in lifestyle. But
I look at playoffs like it's it's horrible to be

(36:55):
to to go with the last game of the season,
you know who won, like they had the last Sunday.
It's Premier League and you know who the champion is.
That's no playoffs. You gotta be a pup of playoffs,
not playoffs. Could you imagine you just want more without

(37:15):
the super bawl? No, it's not that, but you just know,
I mean, like we know who the division winners are.
Sometimes before the last game, you know who's going to
win the okay, but you know who wins the whole thing. Yeah,
I get what you're saying. I mean, I just I mean,
that's what's quite terrible. You just want money. You gotta
be No, you gotta be a psychopath to like that

(37:39):
guilty you are. You're you're Let me watch that movie
that serial killer in New York, The Son of Sam
What No, no, no, no, that's the real one. Hold on,
that's what surprised me either. Uh, what's that? What's that

(38:01):
movie where Burshig the figgy what he plays the eighties
songs Psycho, Yes, American Psycho, that's you. You are definitely
that watch your back, Figgy burs Shaw, watch her back.
He is Fox Psycho. I just want to say this,

(38:27):
like I understand why we have playoffs, Like they're fun,
they're extremely fun, they're addictive. But I I can't look
at a season like say the New England Patriots who
are nineteen and oh and then you lose the Giants
and say that because they lost in one game, that
they're not the best team that year. Like there, there's

(38:47):
it's it's an appeal to fairness. However, it's not exciting.
Playoffs are exciting I think up to a point though,
because I think like even in the NBA playoffs, like
I feel like this is why you can't dwelf of
a season because the first part of the season, who knows,
guys are hurt, they're different, you got young players, you're
incorporating it. It's because of the marathon nature of it.

(39:12):
You're building toward a crescendo. And the crescendo is the playoffs. Okay,
but the heat is like really banged up in these
NBA finals. I don't think THEY'RESND doing to anything except
allowed fart and losing to the heat. And five yeah, yeah,

(39:34):
that's horrible. First of all, it's hard, it's wrong, it's horrible.
It's all bad, bad, bad, bad. Why do you say
to people, and I'm not saying I say this, but
to who would say, like, you have a bunch of
mediocre teams at the bottom that make it to the
playoffs and the devalues the regular season? What is what?
What guy doesn't do you do to fight for a

(39:54):
great regular season record? Do have advantage? And I like, listen,
if you want to pare it down, if you want
supreme you know, equality or fairness is as the Psycho says,
then you just live with the number of teams in
the plays. But you gotta have playoffs, like you gotta have.
You need some sort of you know, tournament where the

(40:17):
tomb team or the better team gets the advantage. You
gotta play it out the playoffs. It's freaking It's the
greadest thing in the world. Who wants to end just En?
That's dumb. It's like ending the buck in the middle
of the freaking book. It stakes all right, Welcome back, Fellas,

(40:43):
Big drinking Kennedy. I'm cause together the Fellas Live from
the guy called Fox Sports Radio. Studios fifteen minutes could
save you fifteen percent or more. And current show, it's
got to Geico dot com for a free rate. Quote.
Fun first hour talking a lot of hoops and a
lot of baseball and UH arguing with the psycho. Been fun,

(41:08):
good enough, good first hour about the UH. About the
merits of playoffs, because we've seen the playoff bubble in
the NBA, the NHL, and then of course Major League Baseball.
We're in the throes of a butt. Today is a
big day because it is the first real college football Saturday.

(41:30):
First time I woke up and it felt like football.
It's October, and we have some really good college games.
Lincoln Early Florida and South Carolina, Texas, t CU, Tennessee, MISSOI, pit,
NC State, Baylor, West Virginia. A little bit later on

(41:51):
in the afternoon, Alabama A and m kellyn man gets
another crack at save and save in the last three
years one seventeen to seventeen. He had three games he's
outscored and M Carolina is in action. UH. Good ones.

(42:16):
Tonight we got Alberning, Georgia, we got Mississippi State, Arkansas,
l s U, Vandy, Clemson, Virginia, Oklahoma, Iowa State. So
it feels like the first real big college football Saturday,
Like yeah, really yeah, double digit point spreads, double digit Look.

(42:46):
I I watched UH Oklahoma play what was Kansas State
last week and thought to myself, how is it that
Oklahoma's ranked as the third or fourth best team in
the league and they couldn't close out? They had a
double digit league, they couldn't close out in Kansas State.
It was like, it's not not the home field avantage
per se, It's it's just what Oklahoma does seem to

(43:08):
do every year. Yeah. So again, I'm not trying to
be done to each his own, but the only the
only game, the only game that I'm actually no, no,
I look, I love football, don't get me wrong, but
when you you know, because no, it's not because of
packed twelve. I'm not saying that. It's just it's just
I'm looking at what what you have to go off of,

(43:30):
what what intreatues other than the name matchups. Now you
mentioned a number of you mentioned Alabama, Texas an M.
Alabama's ranked number two, Texas A and M's ranked number thirteen.
Alabama is a seventeen and a half point favorite in
the game. Well, I mean, I don't know, man, that
line could be inflated. Okay, all right, so let's go.

(43:51):
Let's see. Let's go to the one of the other
ones that you mentioned. You had mentioned, uh, Florida number
three team in the league versus South Carolina. Right, that
sec east intrigue October gets you ready football Florida's ready
by r favorite by eighteen? Right? Okay? I got about

(44:13):
Auburn and Georgia six. Okay, that's the most intrigue one.
It's a seven point deficit or six and a half,
how every want look at it? That's the most intriguing
point spread. Then let lets me know these teams are
probably a lot closer or evenly matched. The thing is,
my thing is has been over the last couple of years,
because we can't watch everyone all the time. I'm just
looking for a little bit other than the name. I'm

(44:33):
looking forward a little intrigue, a little information. What brings
me to watch it? When you have a double digit
point spread, it deters it. I mean it even look
at that, I mean if again, I'll be honest with you,
I'm just looking to watch football like and I and
you know, part of I like to see big game

(44:55):
conference games and and who's who's playing well in the
quarterback acts and you know, start to start to get
my draft stuff ready. I usually use the conference the
conference title games and the and the bowl games for that.
But nah, you gotta start. Nah. Yeah, the closest, the

(45:18):
closest point spread out of the closest point spread out
of all the games. I know, for me, it does.
It gives me a gauge a little what to look for.
Is that SMU Memphis That's the closest. And I had
like no interest in that game? Why because it's what SMU? What? What?
Why is? Because it's not SEC? Well, I mean, you know,

(45:42):
no I don't. That's why I'm asking why. Because it's
not SEC. You can go ahead and saying it's okay,
becuse no. But you know, listen, there's some good Big
twelve today. There's some good A C C. I'm gonna
watch I'm gonna watch Sunshine. You're gonna watch Suning. I am.

(46:04):
I gonna watch Sunshine to Night so bad. You know,
I want to see Sunshine play. I hope he doesn't,
you know, unfortunately, might be going to the trash juice
Jets oh, man, don't even give me a startup, man,
cause you know the best is So I gotta tell
you a great story. So I have Charles on yesterday,

(46:25):
Charles Barkley. So we were talking about the Doc Rivers thing.
Doc Rivers goes and and he's a new coach of
the Sixers. So I have Barkley on and Charles who
we love you and I both love Charles. He lives
near you. He splits time between you and me and
my hand and uh and so Chuck CHUCKO gets one.
He goes, I gotta apologize to people. I go, what

(46:50):
which matter? He goes, So what do you do now that?
He goes, you know what, I did something real bad?
I go, what did you do? What did you do?
He goes, I bet on the Jets? I beat on
the Jets. I was dying for what I did think
of you. Thursday night, when I watched that game because

(47:10):
Sam Donald's big breakaway run, I thought about, you know staks. Yeah, hey,
the right there is the answer. Yeah, I do still
think he staks. After that run he made a couple
of people missed made he made a couple of the
couple of people missing open. Yeah, I still think he stinks. Yeah,

(47:31):
in fact, I think he's horrible. And so I thought
of you because we were debating that we're not debating
it because you were kind, and I just said he's stunk.
But Andy, I still think he blows. But regardless, that
team is an embarrassment. Very let me ask you forget

(47:53):
about Sam Donald because whatever he is, what he is.
And yeah, can you there's a great mystery surrounding the Jets,
an incredible mystery. In fact, they're going to get that
on Solved Mysteries on this caper. Oh my goodness, my

(48:14):
is Adam Gaze? What the hell did they see? Not
just the Jets but the dolphins? What? What? What are
the people looking at? It's a great mystery. The the

(48:35):
Adam Gaze is anything of the event? A flaming war? Horrible, coach?
What are the people looking at? Well, your guess is
as good as mine on that one. But I just
think overall it's been mismanagement. You're right, you're right. Do
you have any insight into the mystery that is Adam Gaze?

(48:58):
Head coach? I don't. I honestly couldn't tell you. I mean,
he he's off like he was supposed to be an
offensive to be one of those quarterback whispers. I mean,
he was the reason why they brought him in there
with Miami. You know what, here's the thing here. You

(49:21):
know you watched I watched the Jets and the and
the Broncos closely. Obviously got interest because the Raiders play
both of these teams. And I'm sitting there and I
just I see all they're not all of them, Most
of their highly talented picks just don't look like they
want to be there. And it's mismanagement. You to me,
you can't let someone like Jamal Adams go. You can't

(49:42):
you you you look at want a new contract, will
pay you whatever. You don't let some that is that's
a game changing defensive. You see what I'm saying. When
you let that go here, you tell your locker room
and we're just giving up. You know. More importantly, just
you don't even have the respect for the rest because
you know, Sam Donald's was thrown down on a sack

(50:03):
which hurt his shoulder by by the Bronco linebacker and
normally that play was called I'm just saying stop. I'm
just saying this. Instances like this where you can't catch
a break shot felt big. He's like, oh my god,
I know that injury. That's collar bone. Yeah, you see
the way he was slowing slam down. It supposed to

(50:25):
talk about it. Book about drama. If if this happened,
If this happens, you know, well the way he walked up,
he's not coming back. Joe Flacco had to go in there.
Come on, you know, you're really dragging a battle and
you bottled the barrel and you hadn't put a flag
on there. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm just saying he
when he was fine, he's not fine this day by day. Now.

(50:49):
I'll also saying, maybe it's slightly in the defense of
both Sam Donald and Adam Gays is not like they
have a lot to work with. So I know, I
know Gays is, and maybe he's not. Maybe he's not
a horrible coach. I don't obviously not Bill Belichick, but
I mean, you gotta have some similar to talent. I mean,
who the hell is he throwing to Brexton Burials? Was that?
What are you talking about? Then again, it comes back

(51:10):
to mismanagement. Sure, yeah, it goes all the way up
to the top. It goes all over the time. I mean,
you know, really, come on, Davidson, crowd is a solid
slot receiver for a good team somewhere. Hey, by the way,
maybe it's me because I don't know what good receivers
look like anymore. You know, we'll talk talk, so maybe

(51:35):
you could be right. I'm just completely skewed because I
just see trash juice receivers every week. You guys could
have Nelson agilor who's catching touchdowns in Las Vegas. Now,
how about the stinks stinks I call the unlike Nelson Aguilar. Yeah,
you guys probably would. Y'all can take him back. Now,

(51:57):
you guys probably want him. No, I don't want him. Man,
he's he's he's the poster child of the horrible receiver.
You wait, how many touchdowns you got? I mean he's
also like the fourth receiver on the den. We're slim
number one now. But yeah, yeah, you watch, you watch,

(52:19):
You'll be like, oh, cousin is right. When when he
alligator arms, he comes near a soul like, the only
time he can actually catch the ball, And even when
when he puts his fins out to catch the ball
is when he's by himself. That's the only time he
has a prayer. But let there be like a footstep

(52:40):
anywhere near. Let there be a roll of thunder go
through the sky, and that thing is getting dropped, all right.
He catching nice over the shoulder pass in Carolina for
a touchdown and was on his on the backside. So
I mean, I don't think he's done anything since then. No,
well no, he called he caught a couple of houses
last week and get in the New England game, he
did crossing the middle and stuff like that. So crossing

(53:02):
the middle middle stinks horrible. Again, you guys can't talk.
You don't exactly I know, but but that's the reason why,
it's the reason why I go, do you can't. You
can't draft this kid, by the way, I want to cruchade.
I will not draft anybody out of the pack twelve. Nobody. Wait, wait,

(53:26):
I alight on the other side. I want to unleashed Todd.
Hate him fellas like Figgy, Birt Shaw and the Psycho
right here on Fox Sports Radio, the fellas, I'm big
link he's because and we're coming to your life. When

(53:49):
the guy called Fox Sports Radio studios and he were
just joining us because cause is on a tangent's he's
hitting on all angles and now he decides to come
out in the sack to Pack twelve, and I'm not
gonna stand for it. I don't know what your gripe
is with the Pack, but you better it better be
a good one. Mr sec living in Philly. Ay, Ay,

(54:13):
you're gonna tell me. I shouldn't be scarred by the
packs wealth. You shouldn't be scarred but the team that
I have to deal with every day, right, my team,
my squad that I cover? All Right? You ready? Should you? Jones? Okay?

(54:36):
Nelson Aghalore, Andre Andre Dillard, Freddie Mitchell? Uh? Else? Do
all those losers one after another in the drafts past
that I've tortured my soul when I go, let's check D.

(54:57):
K Metcalf and there you go. No, we're gonna take J. J.
Arthaga white Side from Stanford. Smart guys, Look, let's take
a receiver from that program. Hey, no one told you
to go after a receiver that was often her from TC,

(55:19):
the first round pick pick whatever it was, Thanga Thanga. Hey,
and you love the Sean Jackson when he was when
he was younger, not he's, you know, thirteenth year in
the league, and well he can't stay healthy. Now listen
what happens when you get older. Hey, you got a
young receivers in the league. You staying can't stay healthy?
He came Metcalf, he stays healthy. He's a Seattle I know,

(55:44):
shouldn't be you know, I go, I'm screaming, you got
DK Metcalf. Take DK Metcalf. The only times that's done?
Did I do that? Ago? Like, are you knouns? He's
standing right there, He's right in front of your eyes.
I know you're paying my boy carew now here. He's
he too, is a Eagles fan. I hear from you.

(56:07):
I get it from you on the show. I get
it from him during the week. Oh my god, it's
a killer crew. I'm gonna you're gonna get him on
the Cooks with this one day we can. Yeah, they
stinked by the way, all right my squad. Yeah it's tough,
tough splinter man. Well whatever, they're not a U. Yeah,

(56:31):
they're not listen whence it's amazing. So the NFL network
puts out like all the prime time games, right, like
all the big games, and they you know, Doc, there's
the picture attack and here's the picture of Mahmes and
here's the picture Rogers. So they have to have a

(56:53):
picture from the Niners Eagles games Sunday night. And you
know who they pick? Oh Nick Mowens. Who not Chris Mowen?
All right? Oh Nick? I was like, I was like,
who and not Carson Wentz? Just disrespectful? Are you kidding me?

(57:21):
That's how bad. That's how bid is. And every day
I'm in hell. Like you got the Lakers and the
and the Dodgers, Figgy mh you are the jenu flect.
The should have just put a photo of like the
Eagle mascot, you know, Joe Montana's former team. Just have

(57:46):
a picture of Oh Joe. You know. I gotta say
I fell out of my chair when I saw the
score of the Bengal game. I was like, they tied
the Bengals. I was like, oh that's I just felt
for you, because I really did. I was like, oh
my god, you know what's crazy. I even tell you
I predicted it. I'll send it to you guys. Really,

(58:08):
Oh my goodness to Vegas man. And the only reason
why now I'm not gonna tell you like I'm some
genius or whatever, but like it was more of you
watch the Bengal stink and they stink, and it's gonna

(58:30):
be a tie. Right, the Bengal stink and they stink,
It's going to be a tie. I'm hard hitting analysis.
I love that, all right. I just texted to tell
you I'm worried because I'm really worried. I mean, what
is it three? Would it be? Oh? In five and

(58:51):
one by the time they play the Giants? Oh yeah, no,
it's yeah, it's listen. If they don't beat the Niners
on something, right, and I don't know how now you
know again they're bagged up the Niners. But this Eagle
team is you've got nobody. They have no receiver, I
mean none, so and then they go to Pittsburgh l

(59:12):
and then they go to the Baltimore hell ll so
ger oh fucking one at the top overall pickers. They're
gonna be a debate us to whether or not they
keep cars Ounder the draft, Lawrence, what do we looking at? Anthony? Well,
first of all, hello, Sunshine, are you giving up with Ginger? Jesus? Now? Yeah,

(59:36):
because they're not even gonna be there and the Jets
or are going to get to there's a lot of
bad teams between the Yeah, I mean to have to
play each other. So there's that. Yeah, Sunshine is going
to New York and so that's had to me, that's
a lock that he goes there. I don't think he's
about a quarterback. I think here's what I would do.

(59:57):
I would get somebody else to draft the damn in
charge of the draft. That's their biggest proud. I feel
like Roseman is getting the incoming right outside looking in.
He's kind of the whipping boy for the fan base,
right oh yeah, and the coach uh yo, yeah yeah.
Are you getting a lot of mastermind kind of talk?

(01:00:19):
Or you're getting a lot of that you are smart.
I have a couple of ego fan friends of mine
out here who have said, like, oh, well, if Frank
Reich left, they haven't been the same, and they haven't
matters worse. You're ready. So I was embroiled in a
in a bad controversy for the whole since the Super Bowl,

(01:00:40):
really since they won the Super Bowl. So nobody cares about.
But you can relate, like nobody cares about But I'm
not talking about this then, But it's the circumstances around
and to make it interesting, so Nick Folds. There's a
so much Nick folks loft like and you can understand why,
right because he won the Super Bowl. But you know,

(01:01:01):
I try to explain, like listen, when she is still
the franchise quarterback, like you can't keep up, Like there
was a good thirty percent of the fan base that
wanted to move on from Falls. I can see that,
I mean move on from went for Fols. Yeah, right,

(01:01:23):
like they want to do it like that. You know
Nick is it b d N they call him, right,
you can figure that out. And you know, we love
Nick Nick, Nick mcmick and they and they just they
poop on this quarterback. They just don't like Carson. It's amazing, right, Well,
they forget about the fact that Carson had an m
VP season before we got hurt. Stated Nick stepping in

(01:01:45):
for him was going to be the m v P
if he didn't get hurt against the ramsday game. And
mind you keep in mind this is this little side point.
Every time that Nick has been the focal point has
been the starter. He's went out there and he went
boo boo. Yes, so you know he had that run
obviously because we saw the first couple of games how
he struggled in it was the defense that carried him
the Eagles into the super Bowl in the playoffs, made
some good plays and obviously won the super Bowl. That's

(01:02:07):
that's one thing. But when he has been the starter,
whether it be uh in Philadelphia, whether it be in Jacksonville.
Now he's going to start in Chicago. He's he's he's
laid a big one. So coming in and substitute and listen,
I and I'm with you right like you know, and
and in fratis you know folds. The following year, anent
Bowl stepped in again in relief and gotta on another run,

(01:02:29):
like you don't got among another run. But I mean, ultimately,
I try to explain and nobody want to hear it
that you know, ten out of ten NFL guys are
choosing wins. I mean, that's just that's just the choice.
You choose wins. That's what it is. But after what
he did on Sundaye relief, he's back of the ghost.
I have a ghost that call that calls up, HiT's

(01:02:53):
the ghost of Nick Foles. How's every abot of doing
and like you got the whole thing, chains and everything,
it's the post and he rears it and look he
comes in relief and has a great game. And then
earlier this week, Folds says that Frank Reich was the
guy who unlocked his ability as a quarterback. So you

(01:03:18):
can imagine how that played out in Mike Town. We
kept the wrong guy, we should, we should told Douggie
to kick rocks and kept Frank. Yeah, and I'm not
I'm not so sure they're wrong. You know, my man,
my man is not exactly the most creative offensive guy

(01:03:39):
in the world. They got asked earlier about some of
the throws, and his response was, did you play quarterback
in the end? Have you play quarterback in the NFL?
And then he and then he hits you with uh
because he you know, it's kind of like on becoming
type of thing. But you know, he he he punted

(01:04:00):
at the end of the game. Someday over time. Do
you see this? So so it's so, here's the situation.
It's fourth and seven. Now, he it's the end of overtime.
There's nine fifty nineteen seconds left. Right, they come in
to kick a fifty nine yard field goal. There's a

(01:04:23):
false start that pushes them back five more yards. Now
the guy's gonna make a sixty four yard field goal
with fifteen seconds left? What do you do? Do you
kick the field goal? If you miss it, then your

(01:04:43):
one play you're you're done, right? Do you go for it?
Or do you punt? Since you have any timeouts? What's
that they had no timeouts? No time outs? I think
I might have actually gone for it. Yeah, if if, if,

(01:05:04):
if you go for it and you don't get it, yes,
you have a couple of plays with they don't have
any time outs. You can play the percentages that they
won't be able to get a field goal unit on
the time right, But you know, fifteen seconds, that's one
play with the middle and spike enough times not necessarily
depends on how fast your line covers. I mean some

(01:05:25):
fat guys weren't really slow. Yeah, I get you. I
get you. Figure, what do you do? I'll probably go
for it too. I wasn't. I wasn't super upset that
he punted and understood his rationale behind it, because it's like, Okay, well,
if we missed this field goal, there's a there's a
great chance that we might lose the game. I'd rather
tie than lose, um, but I'd still rather give my

(01:05:47):
chance might give my team the opportunity. Well why because
I mean there's tiebreakers involved in all that stuff. That's
an extra playoff spot. Well, yeah, I'm going listen. You're right, listen.
I would have went for it. But I can make
an argument for a time, say it's too early, you
have to extend the season, and there's an extra playoff birth,

(01:06:11):
so I can you can actually make the argument. But
here's what he did that makes matters worse. Then, so
the next day, first enter the game, he's like, I'm
doing it, you know. He gets a little blustery, which
I get it. You lose the game, you don't feel
like talking to the media. But the next day he
flops and says, yeah, I would have done it different,

(01:06:35):
and you had a chance of talking about that. I mean, dude,
you look horrid. It's been enough, nobody has confidence in
how you manage a game. And then you flop like,
I appreciate your honesty. And he's a great guy, like
fantastic guy, fantastic, but dude, no, you can't do that.

(01:07:00):
And then he was asked about giving up the play
call and he goes, now, now I love it, I
love it. I'm thinking you know that's not the answer.
The answer is I love chocolate cake, but I don't
eat all the time. I get fred again, like, what
are we doing anyway? That's third state. Enough of them
don't matter, fig take it away, all right? Well for

(01:07:24):
some of the NBA Finals does matter, and it might
be over sooner than later. The Lakers are have two
games to none. They beat the Miami Heat one to
one for seeing Lebron James and Anthony Davis combining for
sixty five points. Miami shot better than the Lakers from
the field, from the free throw line, from three point distance,
still trailed by double digits for the majority of the game.
Despite all that, Jimmy Butler did leave the Heating scoring

(01:07:46):
with points. Of course, they were a shorthanded Goran Dragic
was out with an injury, as was bamed out of
Bio Game three coming up on Sunday nights. In baseball,
San Diego won their first playoff series in twenty two years.
They shut out St. Louis or Nothing in Game three
of their wild card series, the Padres using nine pictures
for the shutout victory. That is an MLB record. Earlier

(01:08:07):
in the day, you have the Marlins advancing to the
NDS with a victory over the Cubs. Legendary Cardinals picture
Bob Gibson passed away on Friday at the age of
eighty four. Some news out of the NFL. The Saints
will be without receiver Michael Thomas on Sunday as he
continues to nurse an ankle injury. New Orleans will also
be without defensive back to Norris Jenkins Marshawn Lattimore, as
well as tight end Jared Cook. Fellas back to you,

(01:08:30):
all right, fake thanks, We are the Fellas, Linking Kennedy,
Anthony Guard Ganna coming you live from the Gango Fox
Sports Radio Studios. Fifteen minutes can save you fift center
more on car and shots. Go to guy code dot
com and get yourself a free rate quote. All right,
big link Asu back to the college. It's funny you

(01:08:56):
seem luke warm on the whole concept. How does this
thing work like? And I get it? Look, big Chance starts,
then the pack twelve. I teach about the back twelve,
but then the pack twelve starts, you know, and you
wonder where how you can actually figure out an actual plot?

(01:09:17):
Four playoff teams, let alone all those ball games. Yeah,
and how you can figure out the top twenty five.
I mean, because it's just like I watched I remember
texting you when I was watching the Miami at Florida
State game, and that was an incredibly sloppy game for
Florida States. And this is a premier team and this
was you know, this is the build up was coming

(01:09:37):
in to fight for, you know, the possible uh constituency
in the A C C and Florida States. The Florida
States still get up and I'm not used to seeing
them play, and I know the program has been on
a little bit of a downward spirals so forward for
some time. I get it, but at the same point,
you're expecting a lot more and I just seem sloppy

(01:09:58):
play like that that Ocal Home in Kansas State game.
It's like, there's no way I turned it off. After
Oklahoma was up by what thirty something something like that,
I'm like, there's no way they're coming back. And then
all of a sudden, you come back and you lose,
and you're supposed to be the third best team in
the country. Come on. So I don't I don't know
how you get these these ranks. I know, they've got
to put someone in there. But when you don't usually

(01:10:19):
with it like a non conference schedule to some degree,
you'll have a couple of teams, you know, play cross
conferences like you'll have you know, I don't know Mountain West,
Boise State take on somebody from the a SEC. You
kind of get a feel, you know that. But b
y U. Navy was disappointing every time I've seen UM anything. Again,

(01:10:40):
it's tech, but so I'm I'm lukewarm on it right
now until I just don't in this this in this
landscape and what we're dealing with, it's I have it on.
It's more watching me than I'm watching it. Yeah, Georgia
Auburn will be interesting tonight because we'll have to see
what Georgia is gonna do. Their defense has been suspect,

(01:11:02):
which is not usually the case for Georgia and UM,
you know, but they've they've got some they've got some
offensive players that are they're making things interesting for them.
So I guess I'll be watching more of that than anything. Yeah, yeah,
I get you, I get you, you know if it's
funny because I started to get excited for the first time,

(01:11:24):
thinking all right, it finally feels like football, and and
you were like, nah my, mom, I don't want to
be you know, people in your parade. I mean, if
if it feels like football, go with it, and then
let's hey, let's do it. Yeah, no, no, I it
just for the first time. I will say this though,

(01:11:47):
and and you're right it there's so much uncertainty and
then you kind of get hit with a bucket of water,
cold cold water with the tenant see uh situation in COVID, right,
I mean, because you go, this is the NFL, and

(01:12:08):
the NFL has so much writing on it. The if
college trouble does as well. But you know we're talking
kids in campus, right, you know, how do you how
do you how does that play? I mean you see
the President United States cat gets in and you see
what shape you know, everybody in the government well as
it now just about other than the vice president, and

(01:12:31):
and you you go, I mean, miss thing, miss things.
You know, the minute we start to think we got
were normal. And that's the thing that worries you is
that I was talking to a doctor friend of mine
and he's like, it's bad, it's bad, it's bad. I know,
what do you mean? He goes, well, we're we're in

(01:12:52):
this lull period and it's before the flu season. He's
kicking off, and you know, we all think everything's fine.
It's not right, and it's such a it's such a
strange thing because well, you know, you can't see it right,
and you start to go, well, is it that bad?

(01:13:15):
And until God forbid, somebody you love has it and
they got they have a nasty case of it. You know, Well,
for me that the phobia becomes because it affects my work.
I mean I have to get tested every week just
to go to work for the Raiders, and if if
I contracted it somewhere somehow, I can't work. So don't
support my family, you know what I mean? Even on

(01:13:38):
a fourth day. Here's the thing, and we've had cases
with with the Raiders organization. Even after the fourteen day
isolation period, you still have a thirty day must quarantine
from the facility period because you can't run the risk
you might be asymptomatic. After you get over it, you
can't pass on anyone else constant testing. So then you're
you're talking about that that's that's six weeks no work.

(01:14:01):
So Herron lines the case where I'm commuting back and
forth to Vegas as much, I mean as little as possible,
go there to go to work, come home same day. Wow.
It's it's turned me around, and I've got to go
at least two or three times a week on every
week to to Vegas just to fly up there and
fly up there in the morning, work, come back home

(01:14:22):
at night. Turning around so much that I didn't tell
Chris this. But coming in to the show this morning,
I forgot what day it was. I forgot it was
damn Saturday backwards. I didn't. I was late. I was late.
That's why I was late, Chris, because I forgot it
was Saturday. I honestly forgot. That makes sense, That makes
sense because you know me, I mean, I'm not. I'm not.

(01:14:44):
I'm using on top of it. I seriously I woke
up this morning and I was like, wait, what day
is this said? It's Saturday? Oh snap, it's Saturday. And
I know I know exactly what you mean, because were
you like in real deep sleep? Oh? I was? It was.
I can only I can't sleep at hotels anymore. It's

(01:15:05):
one of the also one of the reasons why I
do it, because I cannot sleep at hotels, so you
quantify that with a full moon. I always have hard
time sleeping on a full moon. I know it's weird.
I'm wearing it really well, you were wolf. I don't know.
It's just full moons. I can't sleep. I can't rest it,
so I don't I don't know. It's just something that
has always plagued me energy. Whatever it is, it's just

(01:15:25):
a full really yeah, it makes me restless. I cannot sleep,
so I made I know, normally on a Friday night, UM,
I would try to shut it down around six thirty
seven o'clock just so I can get enough sleep before
I showed, because I wake up around one thirty. I
want to clot one thirty, catch up on any news,
late going news and stuff like that before I come
to the studio. Show starts at three. And so you know,

(01:15:49):
last night for me it was I couldn't sleep. I
had the Laker game on. I turned it off. I
tried to say, I just tossed and turned. I don't
know what time the final time I saw UM, but
it was already after like eight thirty, which is late
for me, and so I'm like, oh gosh, they can't
be tired. I can't. I can't do this. I wasn't
a deep sleep. I woke up to use the bathroom

(01:16:09):
and I felt kind of gronding some just fell office
and just check your phone. I'm like, check my phone.
Looking at it, it says, you know, two oh seven
Saturday am, Saturday. Snap. Wow, yeah, brother, I was bout Saturday.

(01:16:30):
And I totally totally I know something. You're in such
a sleep because we're so early. You wake up and
you're like you're telling you're talking to your subconscious, going
waiting at my up what exactly what is it? And
you're in such a fog. I had a little bit
of that today too. I had the little one, the
little massumoh. We were watching uh he had a game

(01:16:53):
and then he comes down and we watched you know,
usually a movie and I have I watched the sports
on my phone and he had the Jurassic World on
and he fell asleep. You know, it was comfortable. And
then he fell asleep right chest on you like ahead
on my chest and I wake up. He's on me.
I'm like where where you know, what's going on? And

(01:17:15):
it was exactly that, you know, so I like, oh
my god, it's gonna work. We're gonna come back, and
lots to get to NFL. We gotta go into deeply
you name it. Great sports stuff going on. Fellas on Fox.
All right, welcome back, fellas, RICKI Kennedy. I'm Anthony Gargano

(01:17:39):
cause and link hanging with you from the guy called
Fox Sports Radio Studios. Fifteen minutes can save you fifteen
sent him on con chunks. Go to guy called dot
com for a free RD quote link. You know how
proud I am. I talk about him each week my
boys in Carolina. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, I love
it and talk about him every week and the whole thing.

(01:18:02):
But I gotta give him a special shout out to
my main linebackers coach Mike Saravo who's now sarab is
now in uh coaching linebackers with Maddie as you know,
and uh, he's doing a great job. Man, they're they're uh.
I'm so proud of that, that that crew and the

(01:18:22):
job they're doing. Coming over from Baylor. You got it.
You got COVID, right, you got the whole thing. And
they're tough for you saw them firsthand. Man, they played
a game tough. They're well coached the whole thing. Man,
They're gonna be really, really good. Carolina is gonna be good.
It's just a couple of years. And and you know
what it's actually in uh envy coach rule and his staff.

(01:18:46):
Because here's the thing, whether you look at New Orleans
is on a little bit of a downward spiral. You know,
at Tampa Bay's not going to be there for Brady's
not gonna be there for more than a couple of years.
And and Matt Ryan in Atlanta, it'll be the perfect
time for Carolina to take over the totally. And you
know it's funny, Well, I've been talking about you know,
because he's a you know, regular oars show the whole thing,

(01:19:07):
and he's a dear friend, and we have been talking
like you know, where he would go. He's going to
get the offer, and he got a couple offers. And
Carolina made the most sense. I mean, he really made
the most sense because you've got a great owner, right
with a lot of money who wants to go down
and rebuild the thing and do it the right way.
He's a sports guy, right, and the whole thing. And

(01:19:30):
so you know, you go to Matt and you go
all right, look look at the division. You got Breeze,
you got Brady, you got Ryan. All the quarterbacks are older,
and you come in that's the point you just made.
You come in there. It's a great place to a
great place to set up, you know, put your flag
down and it's it's funny, the same thing you and

(01:19:52):
I the minute that was a done deal. I said,
Carolina will be uh win a division in two three
years and then super Bowl shortly there after. Yeah, like
I said, they're gonna have a great run and they
just have to figure out that that. I don't know. Look,
I've seen a little bit of Teddy Bridgeward. I like
the guy, I really do. I don't know if they
have enough pieces around him or what they have to do,

(01:20:14):
because you have to be real careful because to me,
Carolina is a sort of a a a middle of
the latter run team. Not as bad as the Jets
or some of the other ones that are going to
get those top premier picks, but they're they're in the
middle of road. So how do they how do they
strengthen their team? Where do they go with their their

(01:20:34):
draft choices? You know what I mean? That type of
thing exactly exactly anyway, coach arrives. Uh, I had to
get I give my man a special shout out all
of a coach man because he's got that linebacker, that
linebacker and have defensive mentality. I love I love it.
Great football man, great football guy. Um. All right, so
here's the deal. We got the four coming up at

(01:20:58):
about twenty five minutes, so we're gonna get to that.
We gotta touch back on the Lakers. We gotta do
our nf our college football breakdown, and then around the NFL.
That's the game I love to play. Lick and Kennedy,
Anthony Gargano right here on Fox Sports Radio. All right,
welcome back, Fellas, Burger Lert. I'm cause together the fellas

(01:21:24):
come to your live and the guy called Fox Sports
Radio Studios. Fifteen minutes can save you fifteen percent them
on car insurance. Go to Guy Calle dot com get
yourself a free orate quote. Just tuning in. It's a
sports schasmic weekend. Another one great with all the bubble sports,
It's been a lot of fun. I'll tell you one thing,

(01:21:46):
link I'm gonna miss it when it goes away, Like
you know, n b A uh we're only a handful
of games left in the bubble. We'll have the Lakers
be the champion. Yeah, that'll be at the NHL crowned
the Ray If they've raised they like me, I got

(01:22:07):
the raise in my mind because that yeah, look there
you go. See, you know, we got baseball. Then soon
it will just be football for up until the rest
of because the NBA is already talking about January for
a restart for door to launch the new season, and

(01:22:30):
the same thing NHL. And it's gonna be weird for
those teams in the NBA that didn't that we're not
part of the bubble because you're not gonna play for
almost you know, you're all for ten months. Yeah, it's crazy.
And that's going to be the thing that I'm most
intrigued with is is what happens after this? How does
the COVID pandemic affect our traditional sports calendar from here

(01:22:53):
on out? Now? I'm curious because my guess is the
NBA stays the same, right that it starts Christmas Day,
that'll be the we always talked about being the on
official start of this of the season. Anyway, I think
they like this whole idea of playing through the summer.
So my guess is that's what the NBA will do.

(01:23:15):
I mean, NHL probably a little bit sooner, but the
start later. My guests start later than October, early October
where they usually start baseball. Do you like the short
Did you like the sixty games? What? I liked it

(01:23:36):
because it was it was it was quick pace, it
was fast moving into the sixty days. Sixty games went
through pretty quickly. But it's not I mean, it's under
it's not even normal. And I don't even know what
to put on it. What type of baseball, the caliber
that we see. We saw some teams sort of come
out of nowhere and make a run for it. I
don't know if that's fair. I do believe one sixty
two is too long, but you generally don't have the

(01:23:57):
leagues like this go backwards. So you know, what are
we in for the future? You know what, I'm being practical, realistic.
I mean no, I mean, I'm they're not gonna pair
any games. I'm just wondering. You know what, if you
liked it, like to me, quite frankly, one two, you
allot forty games off. One two would be perfect. Mhmm.

(01:24:23):
I don't have a hard I have a hard time
arguing against that. I mean, I've seen in my experience
and passages, like you see a team come out like
Gangbusters at the beginning this season, then they hit the
All Star break and then you you know, you come
out of the All Star break expecting that team that's
continue it's running, and all of a sudden they they
cool off, and some other team comes out of nowhere
it makes a tremendous run towards the end. Or then
you just have your favorites that go through it and

(01:24:44):
doing what they're doing, Like the Dodgers are just too
big to fail, for example, right, and I get listen,
they're never gonna pairtlo forty games. I mean the best
you get is one four, but they really should be
at one two. And then you expand the playoffs to
try to recoup some of the loss. See, the problem

(01:25:07):
is is that all the local revenue, you know it's
forty games, or at the local revenue TV package you
know it's twenty. It's all the it's the you know
you're talking about twenty home games, right, some parking concessions,
all that stuff. You know, you're you're losing a lot
of money, but you know, the sport would be better served.

(01:25:30):
I think it won figure you like that. Um, yeah,
I don't necessarily mind it. I wouldn't mind cutting the
season down a little bit. Would you do the one
fifty four? You would you do more than that? I'd
probably I'd probably try to set up for one fifty
somewhere between like one fifty and one fifty four. I

(01:25:52):
think they you start getting closer to one twenty one.
I don't know if I if I'm a big fan
of that. Too many? Nah, you have too many games, right,
I mean to I mean cutting too many years, that
will be cutting too many correct. See, that's that's the
thing where I'm what what? What is? What is it enough?

(01:26:14):
What is enough of a product to see what you have?
Does it have to be over a hundred games? I
think just for the integrity of the sport and how
it's played and talking about the attrition of it, you
have to play. I mean I think a hundred is
almost a bare minimum they had to do this year
just to get some money out right, right right right right?
But I mean it was focused that that I hated
this extra any role. I hope they don't adopt that.

(01:26:36):
I hate that. Um, I hated the seven inning doubleheaders.
I thought that was that was the most ridiculous one.
The runner at second, I understand it for the shortening
of games and preserving arms in a shortened season. Yes,
I don't stand that. I just didn't. I just don't like.
I didn't like it. Though I heard one of our
guys said they loved it. I was like, why, I

(01:26:57):
didn't like it at all? But whatever, I understood the
necessity and the reasoning behind it, I just didn't like. Yeah,
I guess the reason behind it is that you don't
you don't get games like we have between you know what,
the Reds in the game one of their you know,
I thought it was awesome. I mean, I agree, I
don't mind long games. It's it's fine by me. Fourteen innings,
it's fine. It's like, first of all, it doesn't even happen.
It doesn't even happen that often. Exact people to say,

(01:27:20):
we get so many of these twenty inning games. You
might have nine games all season long they go past
the thirteenth inning, exactly, give me a break. I'm completely
with you, completely with you, all right. So is there
and we covered this early, But I want to get

(01:27:42):
back to it and what does and figure I'll start
with you this time because I'm curious. You're more of
a Laker man. What does three titles, three different teams
do for Lebron? And does the Laker is winning it?
Put a stab in small ball? Um, maybe a little bit.

(01:28:08):
I mean the problem Anthony Davis, even though he's a big,
it's not like a bruising big either. I mean, how
many jump shots did he hit? And has he hit?
His midrange jump shot has been so deadly this playoff run, Yes,
he can go on there and get I mean there
was a stretch when they were beating the Nuggets people
were criticizing him in victories because he wasn't getting enough rebounds.
So yes, it's sort of And look, Lebron is bullyball

(01:28:31):
and he's he's wholly unique. Uh So, I don't know
if I put a put a dance in how small
ball is played. You can only do that. Remember, you
got mid range, right, Like mid range is the devil
to analytics, right, And the problem is if you can
do it at such a high level like Kawhi Leonard

(01:28:51):
is deadly in the mid range when he has it working.
Anthony Davis is deadly in the mid range because he
can play off of that and do so many other
things with it. Um. So, oh yeah, I'm not a
big analytic Maven saying that you shouldn't shoot shouldn't shoot
mid range jump shots because I think it just takes
an entire factor out of Look. I think that's a
big reason why Houston wasn't competitive against the Lakers. How
many times did the Lakers run them off the three

(01:29:12):
point line? And then what the guys get caught in
between and they don't know what to do with it.
It's like like God forbid somebody to pull up and
try a fifteen footer, but you have a roster full
of guys that aren't comfortable doing it. It handicaps you
not being able to do that. So I'm kind of
hoping maybe we kind of have a re revolution where
old becomes new again and some of these guys turned
around and actually start taking some of these midrange jump
shots again. But I don't know if the formula is

(01:29:34):
to go back to being big um, especially because especially
when you have a big like in Anthony Davis who's
just kind of a unicorn type. Well, you're never gonna
have artists Gilmore and yeah, right, but it is, it's Lebron, Lebron.
What does it mean for the legacy? Three titles, three

(01:29:56):
different teams. I mean only it can only help, you know,
And there's there's two ways. I feel like there's a
there's a faction of people who say this is an
asterisk title because there wasn't home court advantage and all
the other things that are normally controlled for in the
playoffs you didn't have. And then there's another side of
people who say, well, they had to go through the pandemic,
they're in an unpresidented situation in the UH, in the bubble.

(01:30:19):
I mean, they're the fact that there is no home
court advantage, there's everything. Everybody basically is a control group.
There are no variables. The best teams conceivably in a
situation like this should be that see and it's like,
you know, these guys were dealing with being away from
their families looking I mean, wait for your family, the

(01:30:40):
whole thing, the mental strain, and then every day you
look at the same walls. It feels a little bit
now like a five star prison. So for me, it
only helps it. It helps his cause you mentioned the
three the titles with three different franchises. I mean not
only that, you know, and he went to the Cavaliers
early in his career in two thousand and seven. It's like,
how many finals has he gone to with completely different

(01:31:02):
supporting casts, with different head coaches, with different second fiddles.
You know, if your people, if you want to get
into the Michael Jordan debate, you know, the constant that
Michael always had was Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen. Lebron
hadn't had that. Lebron has had different cast of characters,
different different Robbins to his batman's, different cities, different situations
every time. I think it only helps his calls. Whether

(01:31:25):
or not he's better than Michael Jordan. We can have
that debate, but I think it it inches him closer
if nothing else, Lake, yes, address that please. We came
into the season thoughing the thinking the Lakers were the
number one team in the NBA, that they were expected
to be in the finals. They're in the finals, They're
on the Winter Finals. What's the what's the big deal? Got?

(01:31:53):
Anthony Davis? You know, you talk about hybrid, you talk
about you know, the unicorns, what's around and a d well,
I mean, I'm not saying that a better team and
and look what, Look what happened when you got it.
You got the one of the star players, and when
we weren't expecting to make a championship run. So it
was like, come on, are you kidding me? Like this

(01:32:15):
is no look I've I've always appreciated and actually I've
come to appreciate over the years Lebron James because over
a seventeen year, eighteen year career or whatever it is,
he's always gone hard on both ends of the court.
And if you watch him last night with him chasing
down you know, guys running down the court and making
blocks from behind, making plays. That's all off desire. You

(01:32:36):
can't you can't help but appreciate that. And he's a
great teammate. He's always picking up everyone around him, making
him better. Get Anthony Davis, and you talk about unicorns
like Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis is one of those guys
that can do just about everything well. He can dribble,
he can shoot from the perimeter, he can shoot, he
can play big inside. Um, So you know, you you've
got a distinct advantage, especially against that small ball international

(01:32:58):
ball like you to look at it as with Miami.
So I mean we're right on pace. Lebron is good.
I still think Jordan's better than because I watched Jordans
a lot more um than follow Jordan's career and appreciated him.
But that's just me. I could dig coming up the
four four questions to the fellas, we'll gage their answers,

(01:33:22):
no right answers, only creative ones. We'll judge him on it.
Next fellas on Fox the Fellas because big link and
it's time for the four We are coming to you
live from the guy called Fox Sports Radio Studios. And
uh and because it's because he hasn't had a fun day,
a full day so far. So yeah, I'm trying to

(01:33:46):
remember what day it is. So it's all good. You're
doing great to exactly whatever. Right, All right, um, let's
play the four I will give you guys the four questions.
As always, it's all about the creativity and your answers.

(01:34:07):
Best thing, best moments of the NFL through these first
three weeks. The worst moment of the NFL for the
first three weeks. Here are your barometers. The best thing
for me watching Monday Night, My homes and Lamar Jackson
and my homes is almost underrated. I think the Chiefs

(01:34:32):
as a team were underrated. They went in to Baltimore
and smacked the Ravens around. They were underrated because people, Oh,
I heard all week long of Baltimore, Baltimore is gonna
win the game. Going into the season, there was no
Chiefs repeat love. I don't know where you listen to.

(01:34:54):
I'm I'm afraid of it. I gotta play the damn
teams in my division. You gotta pay him twice? Are
you kidding me? Maybe in eater? Well, I will tell
you what nation. I think the Chiefs are underrated for
a powerhouse. The way the way I gaged that game
is that they watched the Ravens go down the field
and put a touchdown up and walked off the field
sticking out their chest and then all of a sudden, okay,

(01:35:16):
all right, we're gonna show you. What did you talk
about it? You're like, you picked Baltimore on Sunday on
Monday last week. I didn't know we both have the Chiefs. Yeah,
I don't. I don't know what people look I thought
the Chiefs a lot. I'm sorry that my apologize a
lot of people all over the Ravens And I understand, yeah,

(01:35:39):
I understand it. What Lamar Jackson and everything with that defense,
he thought, But you know, when you do what the
Chiefs did last year and the way in which they
did it, I thought for sure they would fall off,
they would lose something. They got better by drafting coins
Edwards Hilary. They got better, they did. And how about
the job that Spags has done on defense? Absolutely kid me,

(01:36:00):
just making a justice left and right. I mean, they
this is a this is a strong team, and their
offense becomes ads even greater to their defense because they
make you, they force you, much like Golden State when
they used to throw up those three put the score
away ahead, you felt compelled, you had to go for threes,
You had to do things that were not necessarily exactly,

(01:36:20):
and then all of a sudden, they you know, the
lead increases, and then you can't stop them. And I
mean with the misdirection that they make, they make good
defenses look average below average because they can do so
much too. There's just no way you can stop them.
There's no way you can account I'm with you, you know,
And again and again, I got I gotta go back

(01:36:40):
to to the defensive coordinator because you know, it's funny.
I told him early the week headache, that Lamar when
the headache, and that kid gives me a headache because
he's so good, right, I mean, Lamar Jackson points with
great football. And you know he there were three I'm
three straight. Okay, that game became a game again. Remember

(01:37:04):
it was a one score game in the second half,
and there were three straight times at Spags main zero
all out, blitz three times he blitz that kid all out.
I mean, it's great football. Man. That was to me,
the best moment of the season so far, the worst

(01:37:24):
moment of the NFL so far Thursday night, Leave the
Jets and Broncos a lot. I just trash Juice Harbor alright,
question number two give me because um, it was funny.
It sparked a little bit of debate among the eyes

(01:37:44):
and Charles when I had him on yesterday, he referenced
Lou Williams and he said, Lou Williams best six man
in history. So give me your favorite role player, NBA,
NFL role players they could be in. You know, it

(01:38:05):
doesn't be six man, just the role players your favorite
role players NBA NFL. Question number three, we get back
to the unsolved sports mysteries, and the example is why
does well who thought Adam Gates was a genius? And
why and why does he still have a job? Why?

(01:38:30):
Why did the Jets hire him? Other than the fact
that they're the the Jets, why would they hire him
after his uh? Uninspirational, well, worse than uninspired, he's just
flat out awful job in Miami. Uh. And then lastly,
my kids loved um. They watched a little time and

(01:38:52):
remember the Titans, and so you know, I mean, I
mean everything they put it on and I'm in the
room and I'm a be doing something, but I'm in
and I invariably get chills all the time. A right strokes. Alright, love,
I love I love it, I love it. So give

(01:39:14):
me the movie that gives you chills, that gave you chills. Okay,
all right, there's your four four today. Let's begin. We
kick it off as always with Figgy fig Alright. Best
for me was the Raiders christening that new stadium with
a comeback victory over the Saints after it got off

(01:39:35):
to a really really bad start. So that was that
was encouraging and worst NFL moment. I'm not a fan
of this team at all, but good god, the Falcons.
I mean, back to back blown fishing. How does that happen?
And again not turning the ball over you know a
lot of times. I mean, it's it's I don't understand

(01:39:57):
how it happens. It's really remarkable. It's amazing how they
find ways to lose while not playing I guess horribly
offensively and like booting the ball left and right. It
really is a remarkable accomplishment after Bowl. Yeah, on the
heels of the Super Bowl loss, I mean, hey, watch
the ball roll? Oh yeah, I cast it. Won't just

(01:40:19):
stand there and watching bounce. It's unreal. A choker, A choker, Yeah,
I'm a choker all the way. Oh man, that's my
best and worst. Excellent, excellent. Let's go to the Psycho Psycho.
Best moment, worst moment NFL season. So I'm kind of

(01:40:43):
copping out a little bit on best moment in that
it's a feature of this season. I love the new
Monday Night for football, not not just the crew on.
Like I've loved Steve Levy his work on Sports Center
and other football games he's called he's great with Greasy
and with Riddick up there. But it seems it seems

(01:41:05):
to be like Monday Night. You know, usually when I
think about the primetime games, Sunday Night Football has usually
the last few years gotten like the best matchups and
Monday Night's kind of left with the scraps. This year
it's kind of flipped. The Monday Night games have been excellent.
Saints Raiders, Falcons Ravens, like really good matchups on Monday Night.

(01:41:25):
And I think once again, Monday Night, I think this
week gets the Lions shared that. You know, Sunday Night
Football is gonna have Eagles forty, but then we're gonna
have Falcons Packers on Monday Night, which okay, it's the Falcons,
but still you might have some redemption there against Green
Bay who knows you're laughing as you said, Chris, right

(01:41:51):
there is better than San Francisco Philadelphia. Yeah, and then
coming in on the season, on paper it looked good. Yeah,
well turned out to be right. Yeah, once we started.
Once we get to the flex areas, maybe Sunday Night
feels a little better. But worst right now I have
to go with an individual player and uh, Mr Mitchell

(01:42:13):
Trubisky now benched for the Chicago Bears for the time being,
which I can't trust that three and oh Bears team
at all. That is a fraudulent record. That is so
fraudulent that you got DeAndre Swift drops a ball for
the Lions, then you play the Giants, then the Falcons
do what the Falcons do, and the Bears are three

(01:42:35):
and oh, and yet somehow, even though they're three and oh,
Mitch Dubinsky is getting bench for Nick Foles. Well is
not good, right man, I'm gonna get this dude out
of thanks, so I agreet good stuff. Let's go to

(01:42:55):
be shaw alright, Well, best of the season, I want
highlight the Sunday night game between the Seahawks and Patriots. Uh,
just not only having a great game there, but you
also highlights how great Russell Wilson has been this season,
how much fun he is to watch. But also you
see that Cam Newton in New England is working and

(01:43:16):
that's uh, I think that's super cool to see. That's
great to see as an NFL fan. Um as far
as worst goes, UM, I was going to say that
the last Thursday Night game, um, but since you took
that aunt, I will point out that the Eagles tied
the Bengals and that that's than that's that's pretty bad. Yeah,

(01:43:37):
thank you, You're not wrong, uh big. The best of
the NFL has been the fact that you've got quarterbacks
doing what they do, doing it and doing it well.
I mean, I think through theirs, you've got a record.
Russ is playing well, Patrick Mahomes is playing well, you know,

(01:43:59):
for what it's worth, um Lamar Jackson is playing well.
But also Aaron Rodgers and so you know when everyone
said this is a demise year or they're gonna have
to worry about giving love just a professional doing this thing.
So the best is seeing the offenses, you know, put
up record number of points looking like they hadn't missed
a beat. And in spite of the pandemic. The worst

(01:44:22):
is that, you know, you had talked about the officiating, right,
talked about the officiating. It hasn't been it hasn't been
consistent they've and the thing is that you just wanted
to be fair, but you can't. I'm from my advantage point.
I've watched blatant foul's not get called, and it's like,
what are we doing? What I mean, I understand you
want to keep the excitement or whatever because the fans
aren't in it, but jeez, you can't let things go.

(01:44:43):
Uh that might even either getting people hurt. Most notably
that Thursday night game when he slammed Sam Donald down.
It was it wasn't that long ago where if you
hit a quarterback there was a fact you know, too
much me and too rough or playing too rough. And
this guy he literally body slammed him down and Darnald
on his shoulder, and it might cost him a season.
I don't think that's right. So you got I think
you got the inconsistency of of of penalties. Um, I

(01:45:07):
think has has been sort of my my negative. Yeah,
good stuff, all right, fig take it away and then
we'll move the question to all right. In the NBA,
on Friday night, the Lakers took a two games to
nothing lead in the NBA Finals. They beat the Heat
one to one, four teen. Lebron James with thirty three points,
nine boards and nine assists. Anthony Davis score thirty two

(01:45:29):
points and at fourteen rebounds. Game three will be on
Sunday nights. In baseball, the Padres got two RBI from
Eric Cosmer that had nine pictures to use to shut
down the Cardinals in a four nothing victory in Game
three of their Wild Cards series. The Padres will move
on to face the Dodgers in the NL Division Series,
and the other in L Division Series, you'll have Miami

(01:45:49):
taking on Atlanta, and that is because the Marlins beat
the Cups to nothing on Friday. Some sad news out
of Baseball Hall of Fame, Cardinal pitcher Bob Gibson passed
away at the age of eighty four after losing a
battle with pancry at a cancer. In college football, b
y U quarterback Zach Wilson scored five total touchdowns. He
led the Coopers to a forty five to fourteen victory
over Louisiana Tech. Wake Forest picked up its first one

(01:46:10):
of the season with the blowout victory over Campbell. Fellas
back to you, alright, fag, thank you We are the
Fellas Link and Kennedy Anthony Gargano Live from the Guy
Coo Fox Sports Video Studios. Fifteen minutes can give you
fifteen there on car insurance good a guy called dot com,
get yourself a free or a quote? All right? Question

(01:46:33):
number two your favorite role player NBA, NFL, NBA. For me,
I go with the Robert Ory. It was a pretty
easy one. One of the biggest role players, I mean
everywhere he went. Houston Rockets, big shot to win an
NBA title, Lakers, how many big shots did he hit?
San Antonio Spurs big shots to win NBA championship Bob.

(01:46:57):
So that was an easy one. And another easy one
one most people may not have heard of. But his
name was Ricky Prole. He was a receiver in the
nineties and two thousands, uh and just always came up
with big catches in big moments for whoever he played for.
He played for the St. Louis Rams. They had that
epic NFC title game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I
think the final score was like eleven to seven or

(01:47:18):
eleven to six, whatever it was. There was one touchdown
scored in that game. Kurt Warner threw it to him
in the back of the end zone and it was
an acrobatic catch. He had another big catch against the Patriots,
uh in the game that they lost. He was with
the Panthers when they played the Patriots and called a
big touchdown in that Super Bowl. He was a guy
that was always just a safety blanket for his quarterback.
Whenever they needed a big play, they threw it to him.

(01:47:39):
So Robert Ory and Ricky Prole, those are my two
uh best role players. Great answers man, great answers psycho. Alright,
So for the NBA, I mean, first one that always
jumps to mind to me, and maybe he kind of
shrugged off role player after a while, But Tayshawn Prince
from those Pistons days again, the Pistons from the two

(01:48:00):
thousands have a special place in my heart. I'm from Toledo,
but like, yeah, just just an hour south it it's
easy to get yeah. Yeah. And in the NFL, this
is actually a really recent one and not a lot
of people have probably heard of him yet. But the

(01:48:22):
Lions have a new punter by the name of Jack Fox,
and I just wrote a piece on him the other
week that the coffin corner is kind of a lost
art in the NFL. And I don't like when I
don't like when teams punt, but I can appreciate the
act of a punt itself. And Jack Fox, you've got
to watch the MoES punts sometimes like this, this guy

(01:48:43):
is nailing coffin corner like insanely accurate punts. I'm I'm
all for it. The I he had like three of
them on against the Cardinals. And you wonder why Chris
thinks the Premier League is great? And uh what was

(01:49:04):
the arguing? What does that have to go? It's like
like NFL. Like NFL, you're back in the day when
the crowd will go crazy whenever a punch or a punch,
a guy will scoring a touchdown. Nobody would do anything
as soon as the punter comes out there. Yes, Chris
doesn't like playoffs. He likes the Premier League win it. Hey,

(01:49:27):
you know what's to teach his own? Uh that's why
he psycho Chris pho just a multitude of reasons. Burt Shaw, So,
I have other answers if he doesn't qualify, But was
mana genobly too successful to qualify as a role player? Yeah,
I mean you could. I mean he would listen, he
probably was the best modern day sixth man. Right, you

(01:49:52):
have have a check, Uh, Barkley said Lou Williams. I
would probably go Genoble over Lou Williams. Okay, okay, well,
yeah that's that's my answer. There's Manu Um and for NFL,
always enjoyed the big strong fullbacks. John Coon of the
Packers was a great answer, A great answer. The full

(01:50:13):
back missed the full back big light well since Figgy stole,
or because I was and it was like how somebody's
talking about him this seven championship rings, but as one
of the best players, um he stole, I might have
to go back. I'm gonna go back even long farther back.
But one I east enjoy watching as a kid, Michael
Cooper with the Lakers, who was always a good Here

(01:50:35):
we get the Cooper loop, yep. And then and for football,
I'm gonna go with Darren Sprowls, just an all around
fun to watch, fantastic all the years New Orleans and
finished Philly. I'm just still getting fantastic. Great answer, short
and kneehigh to take a cricket. So that's right, great answers,
all right. Question number three, unsolved sports mysteries. I gave

(01:50:56):
the example of Adam Gaze figure eight. Yeah, this one
was a tough one for me, trying to solve the
mystery of why Adam Gates has a job. I'll say
he probably has pictures of Roger Goodell in a compromising
position or something, so he has to ensure that he
keeps getting a job. He has to remain employed. Wow. Yeah,

(01:51:20):
I mean, I'm unbelievable. Uh where we got, Psycho, so
kind of in the same vein, and we just keep
going to going to coaches, but in a more general
have we figured out has everyone else figured out yet
that you should not be hiring guys who worked under
Bill Belichick? Or are we still trying to puzzle that one? Psycho, Chris,

(01:51:41):
You're so right from the New York Giants Lions have
learned there the hard way not to do it. I mean,
I I guess I've learned this lesson since you know,
I grew up. You know my family. My mother is
a Notre Dame fan, and I watched law of Notre
Dame football, and I knew back from Charlie Weis it
was a bad idea. But apparently teams to leven learned
their lesson. Well think about it. So you have Charlie Weiss,

(01:52:05):
who by the way, was a horrible coach, had so
much talent on those Notre Dame teams. It's unbelievable. How Baddy,
how baby so by the way. Most of his success
came early with all the Willinghams players exactly, Tyrone Willingham
was a thousand times the coach that Charlie Weiss was.

(01:52:27):
And then he Where'd you Go Kansas with the Kansas
and was awful there, like almost completely debt like that
that program is is basically dead when he left. Yeah,
you know what's amazing is that. You know what's funny
he does a radio show now and he's you know,
he's so bad, right, he's bad because you don't want

(01:52:48):
to say anything, and he's just awful. It's he's horrible,
and at him. Coach gotta be You gotta be a
an accomplished coach to beget the coach moniker. You don't
deserve the coach moniker. He deserves the clown monitor. Coordinator

(01:53:12):
in New England. I thought he was a decent coordinator
in Kansas City. I mean, I don't know if he
was a Some people are just not fit to be
head coaches. His best game as a head coach at
Notre Dame was probably a game he lost on the
bush push. Yeah, definitely, so he But think about the
list Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennell you got Patricia now I

(01:53:41):
mean McDaniels. I was about to say, now he's still
For some reason, I still think he's got a shot,
although I could be just kidding myself. But why is it.
It's a great mystery, Gras, it's a great mystery. Why
is it that you can coach on their Belichick I
not be able to coach anywhere else? Well, I think,

(01:54:04):
especially in New England, it's a question of how much
work that Belichick takes over from his coordinators coordinators rather
than doles it out. And as this league is a
copycat league, people don't think too hard underneath that, and
look it just it keeps going down the list too.
Like when when Detroit came time to hire, you know,
a new general manager and a new and a new coach.

(01:54:25):
They they had Ernie a Corsie, like telling telling the
Ford family hired Ernie a Corsi legendary general manager. Ornie
of course he said you should hire Bob Quinn as
the general manager out of the New England and they're like,
all right, cool, you're Earnie a Corsie, we trust you.
And then it just spirals from there because then Bob
Quinn goes and hires Ma Patricia. So it just like I,

(01:54:46):
I don't know. These guys just get reputations. It's just
a buddy system. That's some nepotism involved too, And I
just but it's not just buddy and nepotism. You're thinking
New England, New England. You gotta you can have a brain.
You come from the Wingland through osmosis. You know, I'm
just being next to Bell and check. You should have

(01:55:07):
learned something starting to see it with the Andy Reid Tree,
people are really gassing up. Eric bim will see if
he's says and trees great. I'll go to chapter verse,
you know, go to Baltimore, the Horribles one. I mean,
it's all over to the NFL all right, where the
fell is. We'll come back finish the four next. That's uh.

(01:55:30):
Before we do that, I need a word from Farmers.
You get a whole lot of something with Farmers policy
perks so much, I'm gonna have to speed things up.
You can get the Farmer's Signal app and that could
get you up to your auto policy. That's just for
using the app and driving like the normal speed limited.
Here we full stop making lane change signaling. Human being
you are get a whole lot of something with farmers policy.

(01:55:51):
Perks start with a quote by calling one eight hundred farmers.
We are farmers, not for the legal something everything discount
something looks conditions fellas liking Kennedy Antony organic from the
guy co Fox Sports Radio Studios. Let's get back to

(01:56:13):
the four. We are got a little tied up with
the Belichick Mr Unsolved mystery as to how no one
can coach after they need they leave New England. It's
like Belichick takes away any kind of brain they have.

(01:56:37):
Their brain turns to liquid. Thus that that's Matt Patricia. Uh.
Let's start off with you, Burshaw this segment, give me
your great Sports Unsolved the mystery. Why haven't the Angels
figured out a way to have Mike Trout have more
than three postseason games played in his career. That's outrageous.

(01:57:01):
You know, they're wasted that guy, the best players since
Mickey man All and they're wasted him. Yea, only he
played in three games in his boat in the postseason
about it needing the GM, My god, that's amazing. But again,
you know they they had a big analytics kind of
crew out there. Just shame any guys with eyes, right,

(01:57:28):
any guys with eyes that know the game, big link,
unsolved sports mystery. To this day, I always wondered why
Marty Schottenheimer couldn't win a playoff game or struggled in
the playoffs. Yea, yeah, I mean I played against those
great teams out of Kansas City and and the Charges,

(01:57:50):
and I was like, I mean, he had some great
teams that he can only get the Chief sweat today
FC championship game. But I'm like, all the times that
he was in the playoffs, even just stunt me how
and he was still getting coaching jobs. He couldn't win
the playoffs. Somebody was still getting coaching jobs. Last one, Yeah, yeah,
all right, give me the last time you got chills

(01:58:13):
watching the movie? Last movie you watch gave you chills
or your favorite one, whatever it is, but you got chills. Figure,
I'd say miracle. Even though I knew how this story ended, Um,
I wasn't alive for what had happened. So and just
the way the movie was put together, they added some
elements of drama to it. And so even though I
knew it was building up to the crescendo of the

(01:58:33):
of the Giant upset. Uh still and still gave me chills,
just how the team was able to come together, uh
and and pull off one of the probably still the
biggest upset in sports history. Um so miracle for me
for sure. Well done, do I mean really, I was
really really well done. Let's go to Psycho Chris. Alright.

(01:58:55):
So it's an older one, but it's always giving me
chills and I slapped it in the other night to
watch it. I love the original Blade Runner. I love
the new Blade Runner too, but the original Blade Runner.
The Roy Batty monologue Tears in the Rain just super classic.
You say that, like we should all know that. Yeah,
it's a great movie. I know what. I know what
he's talking about, do you do? Oh yeah, alright, Figgy,

(01:59:18):
you know what he's talking about. I know there was
a movie called Blade Runner, but I don't know anything
about it. Yeah. But the way he said right right,
the way he says that, figure, I mean, I don't know,
that's all Blade Runner. Yeah. It's basically the villain the villain.
Not not to spoiled too much, but it's basically like
the final monologue from the the antagonists in that villain,

(01:59:40):
and it's it's just it's very heartfelt. He's he's like
an android and their only program to live X number
of years, very short lives, and he's just reminiscing on
all the memories that are just gonna be lost. All right.
The android has that gave you chills? Huh and we
wonder why we call you Psycho Chris the birch Shaw Uh.

(02:00:03):
Spider Man into the Spider Verse. The leap of faith
scene is fantastic. That whole film is fantastic. Great. Who
are you guys? It is so good. You have to chills.
You've given me Spider Verse and speech. I mean, like,
I mean, I know, I love really Scott too. I know,

(02:00:24):
but chiels like Figgy goes Miracle. I go, yeah, that
makes sense. YouTube nutballs crazy. It's been well documented the
show how much I do not like sports movies. Okay,
I know, but still you're talking about an android and
then you get chills from an android like you saved me.

(02:00:47):
I'm trying to do it. I'm trying, okay. Um. The
last movie I saw that that that gave me chills,
the one that I've seen it several times. It's uh seven.
I saw it on TV the end of the other
day and I had to stove and watch it. Seven
always gets me. What's in the box? What I guess
I make good chills, not bad chills. Where the fellas

(02:01:07):
right here on Fox? All right, welcome back. It's nine
am in the east, six am in the west. Fell

All right, So tell me, are you got a big
college football Staturay? So let's just let's dive into it
a little bit. All right. So I'm curious, what are
you looking for today? Are you? By the way, college
Football Hall of Famer? We're looking forward to you know what,

(02:01:55):
Here's the thing I guess I'm looking for. Uh. I mean,
usually in October we're seeing the good teams start to
separate themselves from everyone else. And I still don't know
what to make of this college season in general, because
you haven't seen consistency. I mean, you know, is Texas

(02:02:16):
the ninth best team in the country? You know is
Tennessee the twenty one best team in the country. I
mean rarely. I really haven't seen a lot across the
board to say that. I mean, we're ranking teams. We're here,
We're here in October, and you've got the premier game
that you're going to be watching today and you tell
me about it was um um Georgia Auburn Georgia. And

(02:02:38):
they've only played one game, so and it's we're in October,
so it's it's like it's a little late, just trying
to figure out what what are we going to see,
what's going to happen, you know, and you know, for
what it's worth, you sit here and go, you know,
poop poo on on on on the pack twelve. Well,
George is going to probably start a transfer out of
USC J T. Daniels at quarterback, So don't be pooping

(02:03:03):
on the pick twelve sending you quarterbacks for your sec Yeah.
Just good football, just good football. In the summer, I
was just good football. That's what I'm looking forward to.
I know, I know, good football, good football, good football.
I mean I just looking at it and I go, well, um,

(02:03:27):
you know, I kind of need I feel like I'm
it's funny you said October, and you're right, it's October,
and I feel like it's Labor Day weekend. Listen, this
whole COVID has been completely out of whack right now,
things normal, everything's weird, and so college football felt far

(02:03:47):
into me over the last You know, you want a
couple of sneaky games, like, I mean, all have due respect.
Like I watched b y U and I think they're
a good team. I mean, you know, low tech. I mean,
you talk up with these programs that are just the
little tiny programs, nothing wrong with them, and me, God
bless them that they're playing, but they don't belong on
on the big stage, right like they belong on the

(02:04:10):
you know, the secondary cable channel well regional, yeah, regional TV.
You know, they don't belong on the big stage. And
and you know that that's my only beef with somebod
these smaller schools and they were thrust in the spotlight
because nobody else is playing. So but you know, to me,

(02:04:30):
A and m Obama interests me. Okay, I'm hoping that's
a good game. Well, I mean, even if it's not,
I mean, I'm curious. Kelly Mins back again, right, I
mean they might be a little overrated, but you got
a season quarterback you're going up against. You know, obviously

(02:04:52):
that Batman team is good. It's not what I don't
know if it's what it was last year, right. I
mean I I learned something now, I mean at least
learned about Obama. Is Obama a a playoff team? Shooting?
It looks like just from attrition, everybody's gonna be a

(02:05:12):
playoff team. And I mean I mean in the sense
that the normals there's not going to be any challenges,
you know, for what it looks like, and the l
s U doesn't look like the same team, and they
lost a ton of people, but they came in a
highly favor I think it's a clear cut from what
we're seeing right now. Is is Clemson Alabama? One? I
mean two is in there. When Ohio State plays, I

(02:05:34):
know they'll suddenly be thrust it to the forefront, just
like Oklahoma was because goes seven and out. I still
don't think I still don't think that seven well, I
mean that that's like I said, there'd be a big
ten team in there. Most likely it will be either
the notable names, either the Pence State, Ohio State, or Michigan.
You know, I don't know where the other ones see that.

(02:05:56):
But as far as the PAC twelves concerned, and it's
unfortunate they there just isn't enough national recognition for them
to to make a state even with seven games they're
I mean, they're playing it just just so they can
have some you know what, whatever TV coverage to do
with their thing. I mean, I don't think there'll be
a playoff bounce team even if even if we're gonna
go seven and oh, I can still see them making
other cases for other teams around the country like they

(02:06:17):
normally do. Yeah, yeah, I guess, you know, I don't know.
I mean, I'm just looking forward to a like a Saturday.
I don't feel like a Saturday. I'll be games on it.
We kind of figure it out a little bit. I mean,
that's kind of with my uh, there was nothing wrong
with that up today going on, it actually feels like

(02:06:39):
college the college football Saturday. We'll see how it turns out,
because I hope it's a good product. I got my
I had, you know, my my appetite for college football
last weekend and I was watching it was like a slobby,
slobby games like these are big programs. They shouldn't be
playing this poorly, you know. You know coverages were spots
where there was nobody covering anybody. I'm like, what does

(02:06:59):
that happen? You know, Well, we'll dive into a couple.
I mean, I mean when you look at Georgia and
you look at at at Georgie Auburn with Nick's I
mean I'm curious. I mean, George's gotta find a quarterback. Yeah,
well that's why I said J T. Dango was a
usc Transfer was injured and coming into the picture. We'll see,

(02:07:19):
we'll see now it's it's it's gonna be, It's gonna be.
I don't know, I'm looking forward to it. So we'll
dive into that a little bit. In a little bit.
We talked a lot about Lakers going up to oh
against Miami. So Lakers up two oh against the Heat,
and that's gonna be over and if not four five,
Lebron will get the third title with the fair different

(02:07:42):
team and the bubble will be done. Baseball has been awesome.
We've been talking about it. I've loved it. I've enjoyed
every second of it. But real quick because it was
kind of story of the week and Kyrie Irving said
it on a podcast with Kevin Durant, and I hate
cat Kyrie Irving, all right, I hate that dude. I mean,

(02:08:03):
I I can't stand them, like the balls on him
to talk about not needing a coach. I mean, I
want you, as a professional athlete, to address this for
a second, because the I arrogant and Kyrie Irving, who

(02:08:25):
hasn't done anything since leaving lebron the Celtics were better
without him, And I got news for you. He ain't
winning anything. I don't care what happened in Brooklyn. He
ain't winning anything because he can't win without lebron k
d God bless him. I love Durant, I love his game.

(02:08:46):
I mrr no defense. Listen, he got a great handle
and he could score. He got no defense and he's
got no brains. Out on Kyrie. Well, I I personally
have been out on Kyrie since he said the world
is flat. So I mean, we go back to all that.
But but the thing is is that I'm not surprised
in this day and age when when I saw a

(02:09:08):
higher like Nash to the nets, I was like, Okay,
that I know he has a relationship with Kevin Durant
because at the time at Golden State, I know he's
in the Hall of Fame player, and sure it might
be good, it was still a little bit of an
odd higher. I didn't see it coming. But with that
being said, you you see more and more of this
going around the league these days, where the notable players

(02:09:30):
are basically running the organizations. And this to me is
no no different than you know, Frank Vogel with Lebron
James out in laker Land. I mean, everyone knows how
tremendously the student of the game Lebron is and he
could probably be his you know, player, coach, You're gonna
you're gonna see a lot more of this because guys

(02:09:50):
who run but Lebron is different, right, because Lebron is Lebron. Right,
But you still have you still have I guess, the
feeling of respect for a Kyrie and Kevin Durant in Brooklyn.
I mean, they they're supposed to be the ones that
are going to take this team to the next level.

(02:10:10):
You know, forget what else has happened, But how do
you not how do you discount like that's a feign thing?
To me and and I look, I hear it. There's
an evolution and everything. Well, you're now telling me that
the evolution in the NBA is there's the coach doesn't matter.
You've got to I think you've got to. I don't

(02:10:32):
believe it either, but I think you have a thought
process towards that. I mean the coaches that have come
in there and tried to you know, like a like
a Thibodeau for example, what he's done in the various places.
He's been successful, but he's also been viewed as a
war monger. Older, older veteran players don't necessarily care for it.
I mean, and I'm using him as an example because

(02:10:53):
I think that he had a success that or he
had a theory towards success where he put on defense,
wanted to be about defense more Southern offense. And you know,
players just didn't respond well to that. Today's players. Yeah,
I just don't get it made. I don't. I don't buy.
I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't

(02:11:13):
I don't, I don't. I I hate it. In fact,
I will root against the nets like I I will
root against them like I root against the Cowboys. Wow.
That that already. That I mean, that's the Cowboys is
a deep rooted hatred that you have for generations from generations.
You're just gonna start there with the Nets, now, uh yeah,

(02:11:36):
I mean maybe not. I mean I'm exaggerated, but a
lot close to the Cowboys. How much I hate I
will root against them. There's only a handful of teams
I root against, the universally root against. I root against
the Cowboys. And you are a Cowboy fan. It's why

(02:11:56):
we're perfect match. You grow the Cowboy fan. I do not,
I know right. I root against the Celtics because I
hate them. The Sea I root against them. I sort
of route against the New York Baseball teams, both of them.

(02:12:19):
I hate the Mets. Uh that's about it. And you
hate the Yankees. Yeah, yeah, I'm not not on that
a little little lower level, but hate them. Heah. We
found out last week that you hate the Dallas Stars
because they have a star in their shirt. And yes,
that's correct, sort of osmosis. Do you hate them because

(02:12:43):
even you really don't have any hockey Lloyd to you
to them at all? But I hate them because the devils.
But yeah, I hate them. Well that's closer to home,
that's closer to the vest. So I may no, no,
but you're right. I hate the Dallas Stars. I can't
hate the Mavericks. Well that's what I was thinking. You mean,
you you used thought I hate everything Dallas. But I
love Cuban. I think Cubans awesome. I love Mark Cuban.

(02:13:07):
I also love Luca mm hmm. I love Dirk. I
used to love Rolando Blackman Tim Hardaway, I love him Hardaway, right, right,
So I used to love that Mavericks team. So I
can't root against them, right, And I can't rod against

(02:13:27):
the Texas Rangers. I mean, what's there? You know? Come on,
that's that's for gazy franchise anyway, Wow Sands Doling rhyme
and uh, by the way it is, it's a gazy franchise.
That's an f faz by the way. Bob Gibson R. I,

(02:13:52):
Oh my god, what an amazing, amazing pictures through fire
before our time. But we got to you know, see
the highlights in the video here about them and all
that stuff. But great man, God blessed in R. I
p Bob gibbson quick before we go to actually we'll
talk about on the other side because I have a

(02:14:12):
question to ask you. Well, I want to hit you
up on the other side. Just get your take, yeah,
and then I will also go through the NFL certainly
and picks as well. So that's all coming up straight
ahead on the Fellas Lake and Kennedy Anthony. I got
all right here on Fox Sports Radio the Fellas because
in big link we're coming to you live from guy
called Fox Sports Radio Studios because I wanted to ask

(02:14:32):
you a question before we got into our picks. Um,
what's uh? What's the filling and uh? In Philly about
Rivers coming over as coach Glenn Rivers because either there's
only one dock from what I heard, you can only
have one doctor in Philly that's Dr J. So they
can't call it. Who told you that? It was just
a fellow Philadelphia Philadelphia. There was a big fan of Philadelphia,

(02:14:56):
like I love Doc Halliday, Roy Holliday and we call
them dot but he was really Roy right right? The
doctors only one doctors, Dr Jay, And that's true. Julius
Winfield Irving the third born. You had to go with
a Glenn Rivers first second in Hempstead of New York anyway. Yes, Um,

(02:15:19):
the feeling is that of riginalds E the right man.
Is he right man for the job. It's uh, it's rejoicing.
They are excited, um that there's a chance that they're
able to save the process, that Doc Rivers can save it.

(02:15:41):
I mean, look, I love Doc. I think that Rivers
is the is the It was a stroke of luck
that he became available, because that's what they need. They
need somebody that could come in and that could speak
to players and get Ben Simmons to shoot right and
scorts game. Another sports mystery. Yes, that is a great

(02:16:04):
sports mystery. Right on. Man, Hey, uh, like we got
breaking news. Let's go to trending early um and I
I want you to the lord of trendings. I want
you hit this with because this is uh, this is scary.
What's going on in Tennessee. Yeah, good morning Anthony and Lincoln.

(02:16:27):
Adam Schefter just reporting that one more Tennessee Titan player
and two additional staff members tested positive today for COVID nineteen.
So this now brings the total number of Titans players
who have tested positive for COVID nineteen this week to
eight and now eight staff members, so a grand total
of sixteen from the organization. One more player testing positive

(02:16:51):
today for a total of eight. In Game two of
the NBA Finals Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated
the Miami Heat one fourteen, and Lakers lead the series
two games to none. Anthony Davis thirty two points, fourteen rebounds,
Lebron James thirty three points, nine rebounds, nine assists. In
Major League Baseball Friday night, the San Diego Padres what

(02:17:11):
a playoff series for the first time in twenty two years,
defeating the St. Louis Cardinals four and nothing, so the
Padres win their wild Card series two games to one.
The Padres will face the Dodgers in the National League
Division Series and with it San Diego against Los Angeles. Naturally,
they're playing that series in Arlington, Texas. Also Friday night,
the Miami Marlins won their first playoff series for the

(02:17:33):
first time in seventeen years, beating the Cubs at Wrigley
two to nothing. They now advanced to the National League
Division Series against the Atlanta Braves. The Marlins, now in
their franchise history, are seven and oh all time in
postseason series they've never lost, and finally, Hall of Fame
pitcher Bob Gibson passed away Friday after a battle with
pancreatic cancer. He was eighty four years old. Gibson was

(02:17:56):
a two time World Series m v P. He was
the winning pitcher in Game seven of the World Series
twice in nineteen sixty four and nineteen sixty seven. His
e r A for the nineteen sixty eight season one
point one to a modern day record in the lowest
e r A in baseball in the last one hundred
and six years, and in Game one of that year's

(02:18:16):
Fall Classic against the Tigers, Gibson said, a World Series
record that stands to this day. So Anthony and Lincoln,
let's relive that moment with another Hall of Famer, the
late Harry Carey. At the microphone on NBC listens Baseball
World Series, just three being made. Look at the faint

(02:18:43):
on the player on the world Let the thing strikeout
in one day, Bob Gibson, Anthony did it. From my mind,
one of the most underrated athletes of all time, known
for his legendary competitive intensity and one of my favorite stories.
He's the only person I've ever heard of whoever threw
a brushback pitch in an old timers game. That's great idol.

(02:19:08):
By the way, a little note to that. MLB Network
will air that game one of the nine World Series
that you just heard and which Bob gets and struck
out seventeen at one thirty eastern tenth thirty Pacific today.
So just a tribute to Bob Gibson. You want to
check that out where the fellas, Lincoln Kennedy, Anthony Gargano

(02:19:31):
live from the Geico Fox Sports radio studios. Fifteen minutes
can save you fifteen or more on car insurance. Go
to geicode dot com for a free rate quote scary link.
There's all Titans thing. It's scary. I guess we're lucky
that it didn't lead to the vikings or else that

(02:19:51):
would have been a disaster. Yeah, I guess you can
look at it that way. I mean, still have to
see how the dominoes are gonna fall, how far back
does it go? And you know what I mean, and
and and because of you know, from what we know
about it, sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to
manifest yourself, right the symptoms sometimes, right, Yeah, isn't so
I'm fearful. I mean, I just because you just don't

(02:20:12):
know how the league is going to react, or you know,
all of a sudden when they were when they were
possibly talking about playing the game either on Monday or Tuesday,
uh Titans versus the Steelers before they postponed it. Um,
you know, I was just thinking, man, this really hurts
the Steelers because now you go from a normal team
to a shorter week, and then a short week or
even a shorter week if you try to do it

(02:20:32):
on Tuesday, and that hurts the Steelers, who are and
all every team is dealing with injuries and stuff like that.
But um, it was I was always worried to see
how big or what would make this process fail, if if,
if it, if the NFL is too big to fail,
how do they get over it or what do they
do if a team tests like it happened in baseball

(02:20:52):
a couple of times with a couple of different teams
to Marlin's I think the Cardinals and so uh in
this whole baseball bubble thing. Yeah, you're right on all right,
think let's take a quick, uh kind of break from
that piece of it and turned to the games and
go over the card for this weekend. UH time for

(02:21:13):
some breakdown right down, right down, right down Chris give
breakdown music. I don't think I have to tell him
that's Chris's He's down in it up there. Yes, thank you, Chris,
Psycho Chris, thank you. Oh boy, can't make this stuff up.

(02:21:34):
Let's start off in Chicago, the Bears, the Cults, Indianapolis,
the three point favorite, Nick Folds at the how Satan
Nick as he's known in Philadelphia as well as b
d N. But we'll leave that alone. The Bill, the Bears,

(02:21:56):
and the cults. Cults look good too, and one Bears
three and oh is it a full gaze? He three?
And oh you know what, here's the thing. You know,
Mitchell Strabiski comes in and he beats the Lions in
week one. Uh, and then you know the second week
that they find a way to win that game. I
don't know if they're for real. I don't have any

(02:22:17):
confidence in Folds, but I have even less confidence in Rivers.
So um, I'm gonna I'm gonna lay it with them,
gonna take it with the Bears. I'm gonna go Bears.
I think they go to Foreign and surprise everybody. Yeah
you got You're gonna be on the Shane Nick Falls track. Yeah, yeah,
all right, I'm gonna take the Colts and Frank Reich.
And since he has the key to unlock the greatness

(02:22:40):
and falls he has the key to turn it off.
I'll take the Colts, Jaguars, Bengals Bengals two and a half.
Does Joe Barrow and the O two and one Bengals?

(02:23:00):
Is it there? Time to get the first win and
talk about some stinky, stinky games. I'm just yeah, Joe,
but I listen. I know we ripped the Bengals at all,
but Joe Barrottlum didn't have enough. Yeah. I still don't
know what to make of the Jaguars, whether they're tanking
or just laying in in in uh in limbo. But

(02:23:23):
with that being said, I'm gonna go with the Cincinnati
I think they get the first one. I agree, we'll
both take the Bengals and uh Joe Barrow Cowboys and
Browns Cowboys four and a half shootout last week in Seattle.
We you know, the Cowboys offense is really really good?

(02:23:46):
Their defense? What's that? I'm going with Cleveland? Wow, you
didn't even right now? Yeah? Just going with Cleveland. Why
I got I think Okay, well it's fine. No, I'm
just is your reason why I'm I'm thinking that the
spiral continues for the Cowboys. They can't get out of
their own way. I like the Browns to get up

(02:24:07):
to play for this game. So I'm going to Cleveland. Yeah, yeah, wow,
I just don't think they could have. I think the
Cowboys Offen is gonna put up points and I don't
leave Cleveland match you know, you know what we'll see,
all right, But now Chubb is gonna the wild card.

(02:24:29):
They gotta be able to stop the run. That's that's
the kid right there that shook me here. Because you're
gonna give me a minute to digest your pick, because
I I like when you like that, like I love like,
I love the Cowboys something. No. I like when the
Browns run the football and work off of that with
hunting Chubb, I think they can make a big, big
smack on the Cowboys and control the control the pace

(02:24:52):
of the game. All right, all right? Saints Lions, Saints
of read point favorite in Detroit. I mean, am I
a fool, but I'm I'm taking the lines. What. I
don't think the Saints are that good. I don't think

(02:25:13):
the Drew is. I think he's half done. They have baked,
have cooked, not the half bag half cooked. I just
think the lines. I like the lines. Now, I I
could be completely wrong. Chris Psycho, Chris am I crazy
Psycho Chris On on the Lions here like Detroit, I

(02:25:36):
could see it here. Here's the thing, like the Saints
are out six starters here usually this time of year.
I look at the Lions roster. I'm like, man, they're
really banged up, and yet somehow they're less banged up.
They're coming off a big win against Arizona. You're you're
not gonna always get three turnovers like they did from
Kyler Murray. But I mean between Drew Brees kind of

(02:25:57):
having a slow start to the year, six starters out,
I mean they they've got a shot in this They're
sleeping in their own beds. Maybe they're going off some
momentum from last week, if you believe in that kind
of thing, Like they do have a shot in this game.
I'm I'm not comfortable taking them. If you want to
take it by all means, I'm not gonna bang you
for it, all right, but you go, Nah, it's bad

(02:26:18):
with Psycho Chris says, you're crazy, crazy, crazy. Well, you
didn't have any idea that we want to beat Arizona,
so hey, you might be able to get another win.
If you think the Saints are going down, then take
the lines, all right, and you you have the Saints.
I'm taking the thing. Yeah, you know, I'm taking the

(02:26:39):
same you can go down, you can go down. I'm
taking a shint uh Seahawks and Dolphins Seattle five. Weird line,
weird line. It's a Dolphins I'm telling you right now,
it's a Dolphins line. Oh they're okay, so they're going

(02:26:59):
you know what I mean. Yeah, but there's no way
the world you could bet against the Seahawks. Like I know,
it's sharp, Like you know, there's the sharp play they
call it, which is the sharp money is not the
obvious play. It's the not obvious play. It's the contrarian.

(02:27:21):
But like to me, there's no contrarian. Russell Wilson, right,
Russell Wilson plays amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing football. How How
the how's that possible? I don't know. I mean maybe
it's the cross country trip they think that, you know,
maybe Seattle's right for you know a let down. I

(02:27:43):
don't know. I can't really go into what the housmakers,
but I think it's it's an easy one. I'm laying
it with the Seahawks. All Right, we got uh we
agree Tampa Brady seven over the Chargers. I don't think
the Buccaneers or anybody be like it. Seven points. I'll
take the Charges plus the seven. I too feel the Chargers.
I think you can't sleep on this defense. Even though

(02:28:05):
it's a little banged up. It's still in Melvin Ingram
the thirds down. Uh, they're losing some players, but I
still think they can hang with the Buccaneers. So I'm
taking the Chargers. How about um? How about two TB twelve?
What do you what's your what's your look from? For
what it's worth? You know, everyone was talking about, you know,

(02:28:27):
arians offense and Tom Brady and stuff like that, and
my thinking is this is that every quarterback is a
system quarterback to some degree, especially when they have success.
And if Tom Brady's success came from Josh McDaniel style
of offense and he knew it like the back of
his hands, let him run things. If you want to
be successful, let him just call out because he's been,

(02:28:49):
he's done it before. If that makes sense, Um, you know,
why try to fit a square peg in a round
hole if nothing else for pride, just on the same
page Golden quarterback and say, hey, what do you like
If it's more short thinking dunk stuff, take what the
defense gives you, march down the field, so be it.

(02:29:09):
But uh, but you know, Arian style. I always thought
it was going to be conflict earlier than sooner than
it did because arian style was more you know, intermediate
to long throws. And it's not like Brady can't do it.
It's just that he's been you know, system, he's been
filling stuff a lot closer. They've got the weapons, you know,
come come, come to the middle ground. I feel you.

(02:29:31):
All right, Uh, let's go to Washington Baltimore battle. And
to me, it's a five star play. It's Ravens mine
is fourteen. It's a lot of points. You should never
lay that many points in the NFL game. I don't care.
I just think Baltimore unleashes all their frustrations out on Washington.

(02:29:54):
One quarterback is all world and the other quarterback is not. Yeah,
I think it. I think Unfortunately, you do have to
lay it I don't like it, but I'm gonna lay
it as well. Arizona comes across country Anther it's tough loss,

(02:30:15):
and has to go play Carolina. I wouldn't go against
the Panthers. They're just they just compete every every play,
they compete. So your patrol go against Carolina. You're you're
going with the You're going with the Panthers. Huh yep.

(02:30:38):
Panthers still beat up. I have to get I think
Arizona bounces back. Then they let their guard down against
the lines like something smells fishing. I don't think a
lot of people believe in It's still don't believe in
the Cardinals. I think a lot of people don't believe
in Carolina. You know what I mean? Uh? Vikings and

(02:31:02):
Texans Houston four point favorite? Wow, no respect? Because you
still what do you think of the Vikings and you
saw last week? What are your thoughts? I think they're
legitimately bad. I do. I think their defense is bad.

(02:31:25):
I I love their you know, I love their offense, right,
I mean I do. I mean I love Dalvin Cluck.
Look what Jefferson is doing, right? I mean, you know
the quarterbacks still a quarterback? I mean he's not bad,
but I just think their defense is bad, real bad.
I want to take Minnesota. I do plus the four. Yeah,

(02:31:49):
well that's what I'm doing. I'm taking Minnesota with the four.
You know what, I'll ride with you. I was gonna
take Houston because I'm looking at it. I really don't
have a good feel either way. But I just I'm
afraid that I'm m M. I'm afraid that the Vikings
are really bad at on defense. You're not alone, and

(02:32:10):
that Deshaun Watson goes wild. That's my fear to stay
away game. You're not alone, not not not in a
little bit at least, but you're not alone. All right. Uh,
let's tell you what. Let's take a quick c O.
And then we had the later games. We have the
Jewel of the Afternoon, the Patriots and Chiefs. We have

(02:32:32):
the Bills and the Raiders, which is awesome, Giants and
Rand Stink, Eagles, Niner Stick, and the Monday Night game
as well some college football where the Fellas licking Kennedy
Anthony Gargano. First, how about a word from Farmers. You
get a whole lot of something with Farmer's policy perks

(02:32:53):
so much. I'm gonna have to speed things up. You
can get the claim Pree discount, which gives your money
off your homeowners policy if you've been claimed for you
for three second of yours. Also whys for three successive years?
Three years? Breaton and whatch moon to a jewans fancis
to claim three three peek get a whole lot of
something With Farmers policy, perks start with a quote by
calling one eight hundred farmers are farmers not for the

(02:33:13):
legal something not available in every state, only available as
like farmers Brandon policy, so that to terms and conditions
underrated by farmers struck of fire insurance exchanges are affiliate.
So all right, yes, the great big Lake he's because
that's right, baby, Let me ask you yes or Raiders

(02:33:36):
bills is a good one. It is a good one. Um.
You know every team in the NFL has been hit
with the raid, I mean with the injury bug to
some extent. But you know the Raiders are really um hurting,
especially at receiver Edwards and Rugs are down. Um My
biggest question is still their offensive line. No word on

(02:33:56):
what Trent, what's going on with Trent and Brown? They
refuse to put them on I are. Um, they'll probably
have some couple of people back. But with that being said, look, um,
Josh Allen. I came into the season criticizing him and said,
I had to be a believer. I thought they were
a defensive and ground and pound team type of thing.
It's not the case. Josh just tossing it around. And
I think adding Stefan Diggs really helped his confidence there. Um,

(02:34:21):
And and they are dangerous. This is this is a
team that could put up some points. But so are
the Raiders. Um. I like this. I'll take the over
and I'm gonna take the Raiders at home, all right. Uh,
I'll defer to you. You know, your squad. I'm a
big I'm a big Bills man. Yeah. So still good,
They're gonna be good. Yeah, good squad. All right. Later,

(02:34:44):
let's keep moving on because there there is uh this
one game is I think really good. I mean, you know,
forget about the Giants Rams. We're gonna take the Rams, right, Yes, certainly,
Chiefs and Patriots, and I love the match up. The
Chiefs are seven point favorites, and I think that's like, yeah, Chiefs,

(02:35:09):
you know what. I also think it's a respect to
Belichick and knowing what they've got, and they've got you know,
the Patriots have got some good corners and they've got
some good safeties. I've got a defense that can get
some pressure, would win a bit. You can apply pressure
and stuff like that. And they do enough things. But notoriously,
what has Belichick done. He's always taken opposing team's offense

(02:35:32):
and they gave it some of their strength in some way.
I think that holds true now on offense. You know,
let me just say this, cam struggled last week against
the Raiders throwing the ball, but they ran the heck
out of the ball, and they got production out of
the show. And uh and uh and Burke and and
and everyone else. Uh And I think that's going to
be the story of the case. But the Chief's defense

(02:35:54):
is that stout. I'm I'm going to I believe the
Chiefs are gonna win by double digits. It's not but
just because the Chiefs are that good. But I but
I understand why the line is what it is, and
it still means that said, I'm still going with the Chiefs.
I love it. I love the Chiefs all day long.
In this one, the night game that Sunday night a

(02:36:18):
Niners seven over the It looked good on paper to
begin the season. Who the matchup on paper the beginning?
So yeah, the Nines look good? Sure? Well, I mean
he thought Philadelphia is gonna better than they were. Yeah, well,
I didn't think they'll be all five and one for six. No, no,
I'm but I wasn't making super Bowl reservations. I haven't

(02:36:42):
played six games, that's right, forgot. I'm a little ahead
of myself there, Oh, chewing one with San Francisco, Pittsburgh
and Baltimore on the horizon. Forgive me. Well, here here's
the thing. Um, the line is still seven. I'm taking
Philadelphia with the points because San Francisco still beat up.

(02:37:04):
I think Philadelphia my you know, challenge them. I'm not
gonna win the game. But how many I don't know
how how they tied Cincinnati. These things happen. Yeah, but
today's defense is horrible? Yehuh, n is are really? They
got a lot of injuries. I don't I'm just taking

(02:37:26):
them taking the points. I'm thinking to say, you know,
what the hell would it is what I'm looking at? Um,
I don't know. Maybe once pulls one out, maybe maybe
stranger things have happened. Here's my uh recommendation. Okay, do
not bet real money on the Eagles, right, Okay, just

(02:37:50):
my advice. Take it. You know you want to apply it.
You apply it your own peril, not you people. Yeah no, no,
keep your fossiles in your pocket when it comes to
that game. Uh, let's go further and the Monday Nighter,
Green Bay is shavin over the Falcons and I love

(02:38:11):
it Land. In this game, Lanta Falcons are gonna be
up thirty one to fourteen in the fourth quarter and
lose thirty They're gonna cover. I knew you were gonna
say that it's sad, but it's true. I don't know

(02:38:34):
how a team finds so many ways to lose. I mean,
don't give me a team. Goodness gracious, don't give that
team more to three, baby, man, I don't give the
a t L more to three. You know what, I man,
you know what. I'm just gonna go out a limit
and I'm gonna say I'm gonna take Atlanta. I think

(02:38:57):
Atlanta beats the Green Bay finds a way to beat them.
Take a break one no, no, no, no no points. Yeah, backers, wine,
make no mistake. But I think the A T I'll
get in. It's great Monday night game. And that's your
football card for today, Yes this week. Uh, good fund card.

(02:39:17):
Uh and f l U is in the books. Let's
go real quick to college and uh get you know
a couple of pieces. I like Texas. What do you
think of this game? Texas minus ten against t c U.
I can see Texas palling wanna palling out the whoop as? Yeah?
I think Texas win by double digits. Yes, and take

(02:39:40):
Texas and lay it. So here's a couple of interesting ones.
Bailor West Virginia. I think West Virginia is really good.
I think they're actually underrated. And I think the wrong
team's favorite. Really Oh yeah, I haven't seen enough Western
drinking saw. Baylor was impressed a little bit with the
way they played. Yeah, I mean it's Brewers Brewer complayed. Yeah, yeah, okay,

(02:40:04):
afternoon Bama eighteen over A and M two verses thirteen. Again,
Savings outscored A and M one seventeen to one hundred. Yeah,
and I think it. I think it continues here. Bama
by double digits. Really, well they are, they're laying eighteen well,

(02:40:29):
I mean still, it's double digits, so I have to
lay it with him. You got three touch downright man? Cool? Uh?
Georgia and Auburn. George has slaying seven and a half
amyas sucker to go with bo Nix here? Yeah, I'm
I'm going with Auburn now until Georgia figures out their quarterback.

(02:40:52):
I know they guy the team, but until they figure
out their quarterback, I'm going with Auburn. You're not a JD.
Daniels man, right, well, I gotta see him play. Let's
come back from injury. Yeah, all right, It'll be a
great sports weekend between the NFL, college baskets baseball. Enjoyed everybody.

(02:41:12):
Thanks your listeners. Always be safe, saying we'll see you
next week. Fellows are out.
