It’s a FOX Football Sunday with Andy Furman and Brian Noe! Andy and Brian breakdown all of Saturday’s college football action and Andy says that the college game is better than the NFL. The guys explain why they think the Ravens will win big against the Ravens and why the Steelers will take down the Eagles. Andy and Brian react to the NFL shutting down the Patriots facilities and wonder if their game against the Broncos is still on. The guys discuss whether Josh Allen should be in the MVP conversation, if Washington made the right decision to bench Dwayne Haskins, and why the Chiefs won’t go undefeated. Plus, Andy and Brian discuss game five of the NBA Finals, whether the Heat can push the series to a game seven and who should be the NBA Finals MVP.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listen. The Fox Sports Radio Saturday is better than Sunday.
We'll tell you why in just about a minute. But
right now it's time to say wake up everybody. Yes,
it's that time. Yes, Yes, Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian
no On Andy Ferman, and we're coming to you live
from the Fox Poats Radio studios. Brought to you by Geico.

without further ado, my friend, my partner, the brain to
the outfit, the hottest working man in show business today.
I love him to death. Yes I said it. I
do love him, the one and only Brian no Hello, Bill, See,
I'm great, Andy Ferman. Good to be with you here. Man,

(00:43):
for sure. I've got a question for you because your
intro today for the first time, and we've been doing
the show for a number of years, but this is
the first time I've thought this question before. Yes, what
is your alarm clock? Right? Like, what is the song?
The noise? What do you wake up to personally? You know,

(01:05):
I'm gonna tell you a funny story. I really don't
have an alarm clock, like for Sunday morning for the show.
I fear that I might oversleep, but I don't usually
because I get two or three hours of sleep at night.
That's all I need. But I do have two alarm
clocks moment been just in case. Never ever since we've
done this show, have I ever used those clots. I
wake up in the morning, you know, about three thirty

(01:26):
a m. Eastern Time, and I shut the alarm of
off because I know I'm not gonna need it. So
I've been up now for about three three and a
half hours just mosying around, you know. I asked. I
asked this because of your intro, right, like where you
get amped up? You're amped up this morning, you know
where it's goodness, it's three am on the West coast,

(01:46):
and I just think of someone that's, you know, a
little groggy and you're like, what up back? I got like,
it just made me wonder what the tone of your
alarm clock is? Now? Real quick brief follow up, we'll
get the ball and all that. You you don't wake
up on your own, what's the tone? What is the
sound that you wake up too? Just you know, basically

(02:08):
in a long clock like a radio along clock normal. Yeah, yeah,
got nothing specially Yeah. By the way, speaking of waking up,
we have a welcome here today, the one and only
Ralph Irvant with his president. Yes, off off of Ralph.
How are you? Ralph A doing great? How are you gentlemen?
Where's your son? Where's your delinquent son here this morning?

(02:30):
What's he doing over there? No? No, not done. Ralph
doesn't have delinquent sons. He's an upstanding citizen, you know.
But your son, Brian Finley, what he's off dealing running
the streets? He's actually he's doing some some tennis work,
you know. There's a little tennis breakfast. Very proud of him,
not running him muck this morning, is actually doing professional work.

(02:52):
So okay, now I'm gonna make a statement here, and
I think you'll agree because many times I'll say things
and you on to chop me to bits, and that's
okay because they deserved to be chopped the bits. But
I'm gonna say that basically, after yesterday, I gotta believe
that Saturday's, as much as I love boll as you do,
Saturdays are better than Sundays. The games are better and

(03:13):
then not as predictable as the games on Sunday. You
know that NFL Sunday. We love it to death, we
really do. But basically you could go through the card
on a Sunday and kind of know who's gonna win
each game. You got three or four basically top shelf
teams in the NFL, they're gonna win. You got the Chiefs,
they got the Ravens by the being but a bank.
But like in college football, you got these games like

(03:34):
a and end against Florida. Who thunk that? Whoever saw
that happening? Why do you have to start us off
on a crazy note here this morning, Andy Furman? Why
why is this the case? Like I can easily go
back at you look at Clemson. Did you expect Miami
to win that game? When knew Clemson was gonna win
that game and they did write the Lane train, they

(03:57):
gave it a go against Bama? Did that was a
good Yeah? Did you think that Bama was gonna lose?
You know? So I was hoping they would. You just
get more With more college games, you're gonna get some upsets,
You're gonna get some crazy outcomes. There are just more
games like so that's the way it's gonna go. It

(04:18):
would be like comparing the and this isn't a great comparison,
but it would be like comparing an NBA playoff Week
two an n C Double A tournament week And when
you just get more games, there's just gonna be some
buzzer beaters. They're gonna be some crazy upsets in college football.
There's just gonna be more because there are more games.

(04:40):
That's it's the numbers game over here. That's all big
one for Texas A and M. The Texas A and
M Florida. Let's take a list of six yard chip
shot from Seth Small winning the game for A and M.
Let's hear it. Let's hear it. This will be a
twenty six yard attempt for Seth Small, two seconds left,
tied to thirty eight, Seth Small can deliver the game winner.

(05:02):
The snap is good, the kick is up, and the
fighting Texas is a top five win. They take down
the four French four the Gators just fighting Texas aggies.
I never heard of that before. Yeah, big win, big win.
And Jimbo Fisher right after the game because he's getting
paid a ton of cash. And last week they got

(05:25):
blown out by Bama fifty two to twenty four and
after that game, he was doing his postgame interview on ESPN,
and you could tell he's just exhaling, like, oh my gosh,
take flick a big way, a big win, agains the
top five team. He's getting paid a ton of money,
and all of a sudden, I'm not gonna say the
seat was getting warm, but there's a lot of heat

(05:47):
on the guy, a lot of public pressure to live
up to that contract. So that's a big win for
Jimbo and A and M. Jimbo is getting some like
seventy mill for ten years. I mean, I mean, it
amazes me, it really does. But that's another topic for
another day. Money is that college football coaches yet, But again,
they may be on the more heat than NFL coaches.

(06:08):
They really do. Although I did say list week that
Bill O'Brien will be gone. He's Gonezo will probably coming
into the studio to hang up his coat in a
couple of minutes. But I knew he'd be gone. I
heard some rumors. I did hear that, So yeah, well
they're gonna be a few others to follow him. But
in college ball, I mean, think about some other crazy outcomes.
L s U goes down at or in that defense head. Oh,

(06:30):
it's like it's embarrassing. I don't know what else to
tell you. Like, this is DBU Andy Furman, and their
secondary is brutal. They give up another four hundred plus
yards passing to Missouri, and they lose with Missouri, of
all things, with a goal line stand at the end
of a game. That's one that was wild. You know,
it's funny because l s U, of all teams in

(06:52):
the SEC. L s U has been built on defense
over the years, and they to give up forty five
points to a Missouri squad and then one or two
I think for the first time. So it's like Missouri
put offense against the l s U. It amazes me, really,
where is the defense not only with l s U
in the entire SEC. Although I will tell you this much,

(07:13):
I enjoy it because it reminds me of the Big twelve.
It's like Big twelve football, which I like. It's wild,
for sure, it's a lot different. Normally there's better defense
being played in the SEC than it is right now,
but that's just the way the season is starting off.
And if we're sticking with the SEC. You know that
Auburn game. Did you see the end of that for

(07:34):
the people that didn't see the game or didn't see
the highlights. So Auburn is trying to set up a
last second field goal to take the lead and probably
win the game, and Auburn quarterback bow knicks he's just
trying to spike the football, right, He's just trying to
clock it, and he fumbled the snap and then he
picks the ball up and spikes it. If you don't

(07:55):
get the ball cleanly, it's gonna be intentional grounding, which
I don't understand, but that's the rule, and so they
call him for intentional grounding. The problem was after he
fumbled the snap, when he picked the ball up, he
was turned to his right, and when he spiked it,
he actually threw a backwards pass. It should have been
a live ball, so I think it should have been

(08:19):
Arkansas's football. The problem was it was whistled dead early.
It wasn't a clean recovery right away, and so even
if they ruled that it was a backward pass, they
probably still would have given the ball to Auburn. It
was a crazy ending to that game. Got screwed. They
really did. I mean the officials determined that Nick's spike
was in a complete pass. Then the Tigers came back

(08:41):
made a thirty yards thirty nine yard field goal next
play they went out to win, and look, Nix's spike
looked like a backward pass. Okay, there was definitely was, yeah,
but it did not look like an incomplete pass. Uh.
He didn't feel the snap cleanly to spiked the ball
and when he did, it went backwards and that should
have been a backwards asaid a fumble, and that the

(09:01):
explanation Offessa coach Saim Pittman got after the game and look,
I just think Okansa should have got the ball, but
they didn't and lost the game over and it was
it was crazy, It really was. Yeah, it was wild,
and we got the Red Rivers rivalry and all that.
That was fun. At the end of the game, like
goes into four overtimes. The third overtime, Texas gets their

(09:22):
field goal blocked and then Oklahoma they're like, you know what,
do we really need to keep gaining yards? They can't
stop us at all. Let's just kick a field goal
of our own. And they settled for a field goal
and the kicker who was what sixty nine of sixty
nine last year hadn't missed a kick, just books it left.
That was a tutorial of what not to do if

(09:43):
you were chewing up yardage with the ball as an offense.
Just keep doing that. Don't settle for a field goal.
That's the last resort, you know. Pretty good pass rush
on the side of Oklahoma really got to Texas quarterback
what they had six sacks on him and seven quotterback
hurries on Sam Ellinger. I mean, to me, you don't
kind of see that defense in in the Big twelve.
But saw yesterday and again I watched that Texas team

(10:07):
and how fast that program has gone downhill over the
last five six years. And to me, I just I
scratched my head, and I say to myself, does coaching
make that much of a difference? And I don't think
it's coaching as much as recruiting, And I guess it
made that much of a difference. And look, look now
now now North Carolina, the former Texas coach, they're doing

(10:29):
some fairly good football in North Carolina. Yeah, yeah, Mac
Brown has it working pretty good right there. We'll see
what they do when they face the big boys of
the a c C when they they play the better
teams right when. Uh, they've got Clemson and Notre Dame.
They're starting off pretty well so far. So we'll see
Virginia Tech. I know they had a little number before

(10:49):
their name. They were ranked. You got some COVID cases.
That's the not the greatest team over there. So I'm
not trying to take credit away from North Carolina, but
I just want to see what they do when they
face the your boys. Their schedule, but I think Tom
Herman maybe the next Tigo. You gotta win a Texas
Otherwise Uganzo and he's not winning. I mean, it's it's bad.
It really is not not good a thing. I mean,
it's not good for him to do that. Florida State,

(11:11):
it's another situation. Although it's his first year, first year coach.
He went to he was coaching at Memphis. He had
some success at Memphis, and sometimes the devil you know
is better than the devil you don't. You know, you're
a big fish in a little pond. He did well
at Memphis. I know the money was waved in his face.
And you want to go to Florida State, then you
could turn it around. Eventually, maybe he will, but it
didn't look good last night. You know, Youre Dame fighting

(11:33):
Irish six. I watched part of that game. Looked like
that a pretty decent crowded Notre Dame. Yeah, it was okay.
They've had that throughout the year. They space them out
and it's it's decent. And some of these crowds, they're
pretty loud for you know that. Sometimes six thousand, sometimes
thirteen thousand. But you're right. At Texas A and M
they had well over thirteen thousand. I don't know what

(11:54):
the final count was, but there were a lot of
fans there at that A and M game yesterday. You know,
I watched part of the Mississippi Alabama game at Mississippi
and they pan the stands. Look, I'm not complaining. I'm
just making a statement here. I didn't see one kid
in the stands with a mask on. That's all I'm saying.
I guess you can't drink beer. That's why you gotta

(12:17):
be better than that. If you're gonna be at the game, great,
you gotta wear a mask. Man. Because they weren't social distancing,
there was sitting together. I said, what is this a rerun?
I mean it's just life. It's just life TV. I
realize that the announces never said a word. I get it.
You know, be political. I understand that. And it's very
difficult to take the mask on to know when you're
drinking the beer. I get it. I do. Yeah, it's

(12:39):
it needs to be done. Though. Sorry, I'm not gonna
make this political either. I can't believe this issue has
been made into a political issue. To me, it's a
common sense issue. If there's something that's highly contagious, you
might be fine with it, But if you pass it
along to somebody else and they aren't, well, that's an issue.
You gotta be responsible. We're a freaking mask. It's it's

(12:59):
I don't want to talk about it much. I want
to talk ball all day today and I will with you.
But I made the comparison of wearing a mask, that's
to putting on a seatbelt. You know you're saving your life,
you may self save someone else's. You know, no one
made a big deal or politicized seatbelts. Why are you
doing with mask? That's what I'm gonna say. The same thing. Listen, man,
I hear you, but it's not the same thing. Okay,
Like you're not jeopardizing somebody else's life. That is on you.

(13:23):
If you don't want to wear a seatbelt and you
fly through the windshield and it takes your life, well
that was your decision. What are the chances you're gonna
go flying through the windshield and because of that, you're
taking somebody else out slim to none. Okay, if you
pass it along to somebody else and they're not as lucky,
well that's much different. The stakes have been greatly raised

(13:44):
compared to wearing a seatbelt, so this matters a whole
lot more than that. All Right. I love Sunday because
I'm with you. Number one, Ralph Arvin's here. I love
seeing him. But more than that, after we finish, then
the day really begins to speak on NFL football. I
love it. I'm gonna talk all about it today. Hey,
the lineup is unreal. Today We've got Bronx Talk Radio
in this hour, our number two bottom barrel betting nose picks.

(14:06):
I don't want to, you know, say anything, I don't
want to jinx it, but nose pits and our number
three you gotta start turning it around. I'm just saying.
I'm just saying all right, talking about I've had a
winning week one and two. That's wrong. Your count is
off again. I've had winning week weeks for a number
of weeks in a row. Now I'm putting together a streak.
So come on, you gotta get a fact straight over here,

(14:27):
Andy Firm, I will, I'll try my bed well bott
and barrel betting is another one, you know, kind of
pushing you a little bit. Yeah again, what have you
done for me lately? I smacked you around this week.
You'll get the total SI alright, you get us on
Twitter at the no show, on the show at Andy
Firm and FSR eight seven seven ninety and on Foxes
phone number eight seven seven sixty three sixty nine. It's

(14:49):
back to business for this NFL team. We'll explain that next.
Listen Fox Sports Radio, No more gas in this little
pros tank. We'll get to that in just about a
minute twenty one past the hour. This is Fox Football Sunday.
He's probably no Amandy Firmin and we're live and the
guy called Fox Sports Radio Studios. Now let's get it roll.

(15:11):
Let's talk a little bit. However, I have a little
bit of an idea. Are you ready for this. Are
you ready for a little idea? Okay? I know that
you enjoy putting some shekels down on some of these games.
I know, and you're a good man at that that
you have the nose pics, you gamble and you kind
of are on top of the line, and I kind
of like push the side of times. I don't really

(15:32):
talk about the line all that much. However, I'm thinking
maybe we should do it like a little contest. You
give the line for each game, and I'll give the
projected score for each game, and maybe we'll put some
shekels in for and we'll follow up the following week
and we'll put some shekels in. At the end of
the year, we'll send that money to a various charity.

(15:53):
How's this, um, If you want to give me a score,
that's great, But just tell me who you're betting on, Okay, right, Like,
if it's uh, let's just say it's Steelers minus seven
today while hosting the Eagles. You don't have to tell
me I'm gonna go with the Steelers, uh eight to thirteen.
Just tell me Steelers minus seven. You know that's what
I need to know. Okay, Well, whatever you want to

(16:16):
do if if you want to find If not, we
could beg it. But I just thought it maybe something
something that a little more. I'm up for it. All right,
we'll do it for the games. From your intro, You're like,
it's so easy with the NFL, right, we all we
know the outcome with all these games. Right, It's just
that we're just now with the points up, the points
make a little bit al right, Okay, let's just start

(16:36):
up with this Panthers game, because I think the Panthers
right now seemed to be a little more. I'm surprised.
And Christian McCaffrey really TP and Arizona list week, Teddy
Bridgewater to t d C run for another touchdown, first
rushing touchdown for him since December. Running Back Mike Davis
had a big game as well. Uh, they played the
Falcons today and I think the Falcons maybe bring no no, no,

(16:59):
let me have to this. Okay, with the point spread,
I don't know if that's where you're going. It sounded
like you're gonna go with a point spread from Tuesday.
You know that was just as my gun don't even
have the points, but theread because I was just gonna
give you a school. But okay, all right, well I'll
give you the spread. So Atlanta is favored by two
and a half at home. Okay, what do you think
about the winless Falcons over here? I say they win today.

(17:21):
They're gonna win. They get a break cover today. Yeah, yeah,
they're gonna win today. I just think it's that time.
I think that. Uh. I know they've blown those big
leads against some good teams uh in the first quarter
pole of the season. But I just don't think Carolina,
even without Christian McCaffrey, and they're playing well without him,
they just don't have the firepower to beat Atlanta. I
think Atlanta right now, back to the wall, I think

(17:43):
they're gonna win. Look, man, Atlanta might win today, but
Robby Anderson is having a really good year as a
Panther's receiver. So I wouldn't sit here and say they
don't have the firepower that you make it sound like
they're the Jets or something like that. You know, he has,
he's options and things like that. Yes, yeah, yeah, like
he's played well. Um, the Falcons. They get a couple

(18:06):
of guys back healthy. That's a big deal. A couple
of guys in the secondary they're supposed to get back.
They're owing four for the first time since nine. This
has been a hideous start. But you got a few
fans at home. It's the first time they've had home
fans at and think it helps a little bit, right, Like,
I don't expect a raucous crowd, but eat a little

(18:27):
bit of a shot in the arm. You've got a
team that's proud, that's got something to prove against the Panthers,
who you're right, Andy, They've been a surprise the last
couple of weeks. I thought the Panthers would be just
an utter disaster this year. A lot of new faces defensively,
but um, they've performed better than I thought they would
and a lot of people thought they would. They've got

(18:48):
a chance to have a winning record if they beat
the Falcons today. Remember this, I mean, and you great
up a great point last week. A thought who you've
played to date? Atlanta's had some rough go Seattle, Dallas.
You know you say Dallas. I mean they could still
win the division, even though they it's such a terrible division,
but I could still win. It doesn't make them good,

(19:08):
I know. I just trying to cover up a little
bit there, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, and Green Bay. I mean,
so at least three of those four and pretty tough
opponents for them. So I think it's time for them
to to kind of get get in the win column.
I'm hoping. I think they will today. Then we move on.
I think up by the way, if we're talking about
the opponents, I think the Bears are one of the

(19:31):
worst four and one teams I can remember for a
long time, and I've been watching ball religiously for decades,
you know what I mean? Like this four and one
Bears team. You want to talk about fool's gold. You
look at their run over here. You barely beat the
Lions in a week one. Deandres we have had the
ball in his hands to win the game and dropped it.
The Bears barely beat the Giants at home. They survived

(19:54):
against Danny Dimes and company. They had a miraculous comeback
against the Falcons, who take the game away for a
second straight week. They got dominated last week by the Colts.
The Bears did and somehow Tampa Gift wrapped the game
for him. Also, it's one of the worst four and
one teams I've I've seen in a long time. Yeah,
you talk about you know who they played Detroit, the

(20:16):
Giants in Atlanta. I mean three stiffs there really did
all right. I said going into this segment that there's
no more guests and there's all pro stank. And I
know you don't like talking about this since Sannati Bengals,
but they're playing one of the best teams in the
NFL today in Balton with the Ravens. They're back in business.
They topped Washington last week after losing to the Chiefs.
Status of Lamar Jackson he'll play. You know, he had
a bad New yearlier. This week he's gonna play. You know.

(20:38):
Good news for the Bengals, I mean Joe Mixon. He's
come alive. Hundred eighty one yards last week, three touchdowns
because a bad Jacksonville team. But the bad news is
as far as the Bengals becauser in the status of
a j Green guys in All Pro got something like
four teen total receptions three last week. He's not the
same guy. And in thirty two years of age, you
do lose it. You can't fight for the time. But

(20:58):
I got a question for you. This is a big
deal and it happened in Cincinnati this week defensive and
Carlos Dunlap was benched for Carl Lawson and and he
went and it had a news conference on Thursday to
announce that he's bench that he was p oed. I
get it, okay, but why would you have a press conference?
Why would a coach permit that? Number one? And moreover,

(21:18):
why would you tell your opponent that you're not gonna play?
They could scheme against you right now? How freaking stupid
is that? This is? Wow? Man, this is the ultimate
Cincinnati topic? Are you kidding me? Why? Why is this
such a talking point? It's Carlos Dunlap who cares? Right Like?
I gotta understand locally, Oh my gosh, did you hear

(21:40):
about Carlos Dunlap? Like outside of Citsey, who cares? Who
cares about this? But that would never happen in New England.
That would never happen back in the day where a
player just bitches about not being played, it doesn't happen.
It just it's it's an indictment on the coach. To me,
it's an indictment on the coach. I okay, all right, Um,

(22:01):
I don't. I just I think it's completely small potatoes.
I don't think that the opponent is like, oh, man,
game changer. We know that Carlos Dunn laugh. He's not
gonna get the amount of snaps that he normally gets
on the field. To me, that's a non story defined.
But that's just me right like, Hey, you love your Bengals.
I've been miss um mis evaluated over here. There's nothing

(22:23):
I love more than talking Bengals football. Andy Furman. That
is the truth. That is a hand on my heart.
I look forward to play. And Joe Burrow, are you
got joy Borrow? Joe Burrow has done his thing, he
said a quarterback rookie record through for three hundred yards
great games. Is the first rookie quarterback ever to do that.

(22:44):
So I like what I'm seeing from Joe Burrow. I
don't like what I'm seeing from that old line in
terms of protecting him. He is getting walloped back there.
And by the way, Lamar Jackson, he's already taken eleven
sacks this year. He took twenty three all of last season.
So he's been getting banged around pretty good as well.
And you mentioned his status. It's of hey, is he

(23:05):
gonna be in there? Is he not a little banged
up over there, So you gotta you gotta protect these quarterbacks, man,
And you're not seeing that with either of these two
teams today. Well, I don't think it makes you difference.
I think that Baltimo was just a better team at
Baltimore will win. I think Baltimore is gonna move by
double digits today too. Okay, they're favored by eleven and
a half. So the NFL is completely easy to predict,

(23:25):
according to you that we heard in the first segment.
So who you have? Who's you got? The Bengals blessed
the points or the Ravens gonna win by at least twelve?
What do you have? Yes? You mean yes, it's a
question of do you have the Bengals or do you
have the Ravens? All right, you got the Ravens cover
by the way, super fast. Before we move on to
Ralph here, Andy, I saw this stat about your Bengals

(23:48):
where they've got a chance to avoid a losing streak
in three straight games. Right, So they tied against the Eagles,
they won last week against Jacksonville, and they have a
chance to if they don't lose today, this would be
their longest three game stretch of not losing a game
since they started eight no in And think about that

(24:14):
is not the Stone Age, that's not the sixties or seventies.
You know, we're talking five years ago. That was an
eight no football team. So I was like, wow, I
kind of don't really remember that from the Bengals. But
with Joe Burrow playing the way he is, if you're
able to accumulate talent through the draft in the next
couple of years, it doesn't take long. They're gonna be

(24:35):
a decent team if they can build around Joe Burrow.
Tough division though, tough division they're in. Tough Ben isn't
getting any younger though, you know, right that's the name
of the game. You gotta you gotta just compete. You
got mixed in running back A J. Green. I think
he's gonna have to throw right now on the offense.
But you got Joe Burrow, so I think that day ago.

(24:57):
All right. He's Brian No, I'm Andy Ferman and this
team is a sack machine. Will tell you all about
them next, but first to a real sack of something.
Ralph Urvan with the latest. Well, while you guys talk
about the Bengals, everyone in college football is trying to
hold that Tiger Rodgers in motion fakes. It's gonna throw
down the middle. Has Allen inside the tam breaks at
tackle the touchdown his first career touchdown. Glemson Tigers network

(25:24):
with the called Trevor Lawrence three thirty two yards of
total offense. He accounted for four touchdowns. They take out
number seven Miami seven. Number two Alabama scored early, often
and repeatedly at Old miss the final Naja Harris five
touchdowns on the ground. Number three Georgia no trouble with

(25:45):
Number fourteen Tennessee forty four. One of the Dogs will
take on Bama next week. Number twenty one Texas A
and M the upset of number four Florida forty one
thirty eight A M beat the top five team at
home for the first time since two thousand two. It
took four overtimes, but Oklahoma took out Number twenty two

(26:05):
Texas fifty forty five in Missouri knocked off number seventeen
l s U forty one. Want to know what's really
scary seeing just how much you could have been saving
on car insurance by switching to Geico. It'll keep you
up at night so switch to Geico and save and
guess what, guys, that's right. We are six and a
half hours away. The countdown to kickoff is on in

(26:29):
the NFL. And some notes from Miami where Niners receiver
Deebo Samuel has passed through protocols. He was sick earlier
this week, but he should be good to go against
the Dolphins running back where he Mostard also expected to
play for the Niners as well. Now send it back.
It is already a Fox NFL Sunday. Here they are

(26:50):
Andy Ferman and Brian Now, thank you roll seeing about
an hour, but one team's records in danger. That's right
around the corner. He is Brian No on Andy Firm
and it's about thirty two minutes of the hour right
now on Fox Football Sunday, and we're live from the
goat called Fox Pots Radio Studios. And welcome back to
those studios brought to you by Geico. It's easier to
save fifty percent and more on current hurts with Geico

(27:11):
dot Com Call eight hundred, Night four seven Orto. The
only hard part figuring out which way is easier. And
we have a caller in casey and I guess if
you're in casey you want to talk about the chiefs.
His name is dead Dan. You're on with Brian Oan
Andy Firman. How are you good? Good morning Dandy and
b I think the chief role what's nothing make today?
They owned Derek Cardinal be seven and I think the

(27:32):
Panthers have a chance today against stuff And uh, how
much pressure do you think dan Quin will be because
I've been hearing that. Uh he said on the Hot
Seam in Atlanta, and tonight the Wakers will win, but
it won't be yourself. Guys, you know you fired you
you wasted your time, then you should be on TV.
I mean, really, with the amount of knowledge and you

(27:52):
just gave us and about twenty two seconds, I mean
you're you're a wealth of knowledge. You're amazing and we're
just lucky to have you here for some twenty two seconds.
We really are like it. He was concise. Sometimes the
caller gets on and those drone on about one topic.
He was like, you know what, I'll give you five
good seconds on four or five different topics. I like
that he covered a lot of ground there. That was good.

(28:15):
I don't know Dan from hand, for whatever, I don't
know him from anything, But I will tell you this much.
He had no idea who the Kansas City chief score
until I started to win. He's one of those Johnny
Come Lately fans went from face to heal. That's how
do you know that Dan's on top of stopper and
here's well aware of the chiefs. But yeah, Dan Queenne,

(28:36):
look in the Andy Furman crystal ball here. You called
Bill O'Brien getting the chop last week? Does anybody get
the chop? After week five? Dan Quinn is a candidate.
If there's an opening at home, deepot dan quin will
be gone. You know that's the way it is, because
that's the kind of prediction. Who's the next to go?

(28:57):
Come on, you got all the answers when it comes
to this and it ago. I think we'll be Tom
Herman from the University of Texas. He'll be the next
to go in the NFL. Uh, you're crazy. You think
Tom Herman is gonna get fired before anybody else. Yes,
you're out of your mind. I think there's no Tom.
I'll pay you in apple cinnamon neutral grain bars if
you're correct. No, no way. That are on a six

(29:21):
pack of Olympia beer from your great Northwest. Okay, sounds good,
whatever you want, that's not going to happen. Okay, we'll
see by the way Bronx took ready with the amazing
crisp and about six minutes for now. But let's talk
about the Steelers. That's Pittsburgh Steelers on pace to record
eighty sacks over a full season. That with top when

(29:41):
they had seventy two with the Chicago Bears. That's a
pretty good year right now for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Today,
Eagle Steelers, after a week of rest, can running back
Miles sand Is run against the Steelers defense? That's the question.
Can it happen? Although I like to steal this big
time in this game, and the steel is a good.
Steel is a good this year. They really are got
some rest, big bench back things, Wilton good, sevent t

(30:03):
d S one I n TV, the big ben. It's
a it's a tough evaluation for me. Like I like
the Steelers. I really like their defense, but offensively, it's
like can we trust this team or not? Like they've
had some rough halves of football games. You know, they
weren't great against the Texans for the first half. They

(30:25):
were a little bit choppy, in the first week against
the Giants, and I'm just curious if they can get
into a rhythm and and establish a little bit more
chemistry than we've seen thus far. But I really like
that defense. How about the Eagles, They actually have more
sacks than the Steelers so far, so the Eagles are
at seventeen, Steelers at fifteen. So these are the two

(30:47):
teams that are one and two in UH team sacks
throughout the season. So that's something to watch. And it
was a week that they beat the Eagles that was shot. Yeah,
I thought so, right, Yeah, I wouldn't say, like just stunner,
mouth on the floor type thing, but it was a
surprise because the forty is even with Nick Mullins, that's
a better football team, But the Eagles were more desperate.

(31:10):
How about this that Andy, the Steelers are looking to
go four no for the first time since nineteen seventy nine.
How can that be? Like, isn't that crazy? It blew
my mind? Where the Chiefs last week they became the
first team in NFL history to start four straight seasons
four and oh and I'm like, this hasn't happened before.

(31:33):
First consecutive Monday night games. Yeah, that doesn't surprise me
that that doesn't trying to throw out Yeah, so the
two combined here. So the Chiefs first team ever to
go four and oh four straight seasons. Think about how
many games the Patriots have won right when Tom Brady

(31:54):
was there, and think about the Colts with Peyton Manning.
I'm just surprised there hasn't been a team before the
Chiefs to start four straight seasons four, I know. But
I'm more surprised at the Steelers. They're trying to go
four no for the first time since seventy nine. Like,
think how many great years the Steelers have had. They
haven't had a four and no season since seventy nine.
That's crazy to me. It is crazy, you know, you

(32:16):
know it's crazy. Also, like how everybody was in love
with Carson Wentz and now all of a sudden, Carson
Wentz is like the devil, you know, Carson Wentz. It's
all his fault right now. I mean, and really, I
don't know, I think that the guy is a little
bit of gun shy. I think after you get hit
and injured, you just kind of a little bit gun shy.
I really believe that's what a major problem I think

(32:37):
physically he's just beat up so badly, and I think
that his mechanics are showing that as well. Now I
agree with you, I think that he's got happy feet
at times. I don't think he looks even close to
being comfortable back there. And some of that is his
fault and some of it is his offensive lines fault.
It's weird to me too, because I think Carson Wentz

(33:00):
he shows inconsistent athleticism. I don't know that I've ever
said that about anybody, but there are times where Wentz
can run for yards, he can get away from the rush,
and then there are other times where it's like he's
moving in slow motion, like it's one of those bad
dreams you have and you can't run fast. He looks
like that at times, and I'm like, how does that happen? Normally,

(33:23):
whatever your athletic ability is, it remains constant. You either
have it or you don't. But to me, it's like
it changes with It's really strange. But against the Steelers
team that is blitz happy, they blitz almost fifty three
percent of the time, and you look at the Eagles
offensive line that you might have a day where Carson

(33:44):
Wentz is getting knocked around pretty good again. You know,
it's funny you mentioned the rushing statistic. I mean when
you see a quarterback's rushing yards and he's second of
the team to Sanders and rushing with like a hundred
and eleven yards, you know, it's almost a misnomer that
staff because any of those rushing yards are he's running
for his life. You don't want a quarterback to run.

(34:05):
And Carson Wentz is not really the most mobile quarterback.
He's not a Lamar Jackson. He's not a Carla Murray.
He's not a running quarterback. Yeah, and he leads the
league with seven interceptions, So what do you have seven
all of last year? So it's crazy. I'm surprised that
Wentz has gone downhill this fast, But you've got to

(34:26):
get that guy back on track. I don't know that
it happens today against the Steelers defense, though I would
bet the other way. I'm with you right there, there
we go, Brian no Andy Ferman, Fox Football Sunday on
Fox Sports Radio. Now the streets of dangerous, the team
stink and the rats running the subway. But Bronx Talk Radio,
it's freaking next. Fox Sports Radio Bronx Talk Radio right

(34:51):
around the corner about twelve minutes before the top of
the hour. This is Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian No
I'm Andy Ferman. Well live from the guy called Fox
Sports right your studios. But right now, let's cut to
the Bronx guys. It's time to channel your inner New
York here. We want to hear all the rationalities you

(35:14):
can spew on the hottest topics of the day. Here's
something we like to call Bronx Talk Radio, posted by
the Great Crisp. Well, before we get into this freaking
Bronx sock radio, I just gotta say his You know,
a lot of people are being harsh on Tom Brady
over here for not knowing what freaking down it was

(35:36):
over here. I'm just saying, don't be so hard on him.
I don't know how to count and he doesn't know
how to count. You know what happens sometimes that's what age,
it's senility, it's setting in. It happens with l day.
You can't fight for the time, you can't put it
just on old freaking age. We saw this with Brian
Hoya the week prior. He forgot that they didn't have

(35:57):
time outs against the Chiefs. I love this where it's
like Brady never did this in New England, never happened before.
It was the same, like three it happened with that team. Unbelievable.
I never heard. I don't give Tom Brady a free pats.
You gotta know it wouldn't have happened if my guy,
Julian Edelman was quarterbacking. Listen to you, Julian Elman quarterbacking?

(36:17):
What has gotten into your freaking head over here? I
can't state listen to you? Well, you know what. I'm
just glad we would doing this. I thought I was
gonna be spending a lot more time in my bunka
on the Grand Central station and said, I'm out here
slepping with you schmucks here talking about Tom Brady not
being able to count to freaking four because the Yankees
can't close out against the freaking Tampa Bay Rays, you know,

(36:41):
the team that were put down. Look at the house.
You both were talking the same time I was talking.
I was at the emerged date on my territorial. Man,
he was going over he was walking over there. You
just kept going, sorry, sorry, I'm sorry. Chapman, Chapman, Yeah, Chapman. Blewett, Brousse,

(37:07):
home is off him. No more Judge, no more Stanton.
I'm bereft. But but but there's a sivil lining over here.
What's that? No more Yankees and Bronx talk. You think
that's going to stop just because we are denied one
more ring? No, Brian? What's worth? What's twise? Brian? Is
it Yankees at Bronx talker talking about the Bengals and ball?

(37:29):
It's a close one over here, It really is. Literally,
the freaking name of the team is literally in the
freaking name of the segment, Bronx Bamba's Bronx Talk Radio.
What do you not get about? Look? Look how sensitive
he is over here. Yeah I am. He doesn't sound
like he's from the Bronx. He sounds like he's over
there from like Detroit to something good. Lord, I don't
even know where that is. Let's talk about another Let's

(37:52):
talk about another team with irrational, psychotic fans that were disappointing.
So the lake is lost on Friday, even though everyone
said there was gonna be a freaking coordination over here.
They even wore the freaking Mamba jerseys. It's a disgrace,
It's an utter disgrace. Those jerseys cursed. That's the first
time they last wearing those jerseys. But that's it's like

(38:13):
the first time be in forever Notre Dame wore green
jerseys and then they ate garbage. Why would take it
personally with them wearing the jerseys, because let's be honest,
they wanted to wear the jerseys and celebrate. And if
I'm the Miami Heat, I'm like, oh, you think you're
gonna win tonight? You want to win your win with
your special jerseys on I would have taken offense to it.

(38:34):
I would have taken it personally. You gotta do it
in sports Sunday's game. Are they gonna try to freaking
try out those jerseys again? Are they gonna try to
actually do it properly this time? Well, they gotta wash
the old jerseys that maybe they're still drying, so they
ain't watch them tonight. All right, the game, that's a
good question. I don't know if they're running it back.
My guests would be that then not. But we'll see.
We'll see if they wear them today. It could happen.

(38:55):
You know, site is psychotic behavior. It happens with everyone.
You just think you're just gonna do it again of
a freak and fight out to tell you, I don't
know what bog you about it. You make a big deal.
But they could play Shirts and Skins tonight and the
Lakers will win. I I think if they play Skins,
Lakers will lose. That that sounds horrible. What is with you?

(39:15):
What is with your head? Over there? You know? And
Skins and I have, but not in the freaking, n
freaking bead freaking an example. Yeah, I would have the
Lakers if they were Skins tonight. Also they win. Listen,
thank you, Yeah tonight to wrap out this, it's over tonight. Right,

(39:40):
do you wrap up? Or do you wrap out? I'm curious,
wrap up, bron Stock Radio. I've got a freaking math
problem for you guys over yea. All right, I'm gonna
make you put on your freaking thinking caps and put
those G E d s to use. All right, So mate,
Navy b Temple on the last second field wall. But
get this the final offense of drive that said at

(40:00):
Nichols field goal. It's it's incredible. I don't even know
how this works. So somehow they ran fifteen plays gained
twenty six yards. You follow me me so far fifteen plays,
twenty six yards, but it took nine minutes and six
freaking seconds off the clock. That is ball control right there.

(40:21):
How fifteen plays? How do you do that? I'll break
it down for you. Yeah, you pick up a couple
of yards, you keep the clock rolling, then you run
another play, you pick up another couple of yards, you
keep the clock rolling, and you just over fifteen plays. Like,
I don't think that's you able to do that. You

(40:43):
have to figure out how many flics downs had plays.
That's the key, my head. It's so much doing this sports.
Do you remember the last time this happened? Well, we'll
help you with just about a minute. But right now
it's taught to say wake up. America will thank you

(41:06):
very much. It's that time. It's Fox Football Sunday. He's
Brian No, I'm a deferment and we're coming to you
live from the Fox Spots Radio studios, brought to you
by Geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fiftent and more
on curR insurance. Visitico dot com. Why, I'll tell you
why for a free rate quote. That's why. Here. He
is my guy, my partner, my friend. He is, in
fact the brains of the outfit, the one the only Brian. No, Hello,

(41:31):
b how are you Brian Knowle No, Brian, don't do that.
Don't I know? I know, I know, don't do that.
That's Marcel, Marcel happy to be here with you. I
think we do have to we have to update what
drop has been played on the Fox Sports radio airwaves
for a long time, which is what you just heard. Yeah,

(41:52):
you heard the UCF stand up. I think this is
the new school drop that needs to be put in
the system. Goodbye, good I think that's we need to
expand upon what our man Ralph irvans to at the
top of the hour of this report from Adam Scheff.
There right now, the NFL is shutting down the Patriots
facility this morning. This walks the third shutdown there in

(42:12):
ten days. And also the Patriots are testing this morning
and are waiting further direction from the NFL. Another status
of that five pm Eastern time game tomorrow with Denver
now is in question, and more from Chef that the
Broncos was scheduled to leave for New England later today,
it is uncertain now if they will. NFL is trying

(42:32):
to sit through this morning's developments in New England. This
is ugly. This is not good. I don't want to
go there, but we have to touch it and we
have to talk about it. It's it's rearing its ugly
head again and I don't I don't like it. I
don't like what's happen is the deal man? I just
it's weird because it seems to indicate that there have
been more positive tests, although that hasn't been publicized. If

(42:57):
it is indeed the case where if you look, it's
been Cam Newton, Stefend Gilmore. There's also a practice squad player,
Bill Murray, No kidding, like Bill Murray, yes, but like
here's the thing Andy is with Cam Newton and Stefan Gilmore.
Cam was last week that he tested positive Gilmore. The

(43:18):
news broke on Wednesday, so you heard and Ralph Irvan's update.
It's within that five day incubation period, meaning Stefan Gilmour's
around all of his teammates. He might have been positive
for a little while beforehand, but it just didn't show
up on a test, right, he still could have been contagious.
And that's the problem here where if it's within that

(43:40):
five day incubation period. You might have more people affected,
but it's not showing up on a test. But the
weird thing is they still rescheduled that game for Monday.
It's still within that window, right, But what one day
extra means I don't understand. That don't make any sense

(44:00):
to me, so that the NFL just wants to get
the game in. Well, the only thing that makes sense
to me is the only reason to reverse course. Because
the Patriots facility had been closed on what Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
they reopened it on Saturday. Now it's closed again. In
my mind, there's no reason to close it again if

(44:20):
not for some positive tests. So it seems to indicate
that they've had more positive tests. That's what my guess is.
I don't know that that's the case though, and our
executive producer and it makes an excellent point, what is
this mean for the Chiefs because Gilmore and Mahomes were
hugging at midfield after the game, which in fact, I
would think was something like a director from the NFL.

(44:41):
No hugging, no exchanging jerseys after the game. I'm seeing
oil this happening right now. So and even back to baseball,
I've seen the spinning going on, So it's hard. Look,
I get it, it's hard to kind of manipulate and
also do this. I mean, you can't enforce these It's
hard hard to enforce something when you have emotions involved,
very difficult to do that. Well, I think that Mahomes

(45:03):
is out of the woods because that game was on Monday,
and he's tested negative this whole week every day. So
if he were to contract something from Stefan Gilmore with
the postgame pleasant tries, if you will, it would have
shown up on a test by now, So Mahomes is
probably okay. It's like, look, man, um, it's not that

(45:24):
hard to enforce. If the NFL says, hey, game ends,
you just go straight to your locker room, well if
that's the rule, then that's what needs to be done.
That just that wasn't the rule beforehand. You know, it's
not like they violated protocol by by shaking hands at
the end of the game. You know, that's not been
mandated to this point by the NFL, So they didn't

(45:44):
do anything wrong. Um, it's a little scary now that
Gilmore ended up testing positive and he's knows the knows
with Mahomes after a game. It's a reminder of what
could happen. You know, everybody, we're so reliant on these
tests being accurate, but this incubation period, there are gonna
be people that are positive. But it's not showing up

(46:08):
on a test. If they're on the football field on game,
they will obviously that's an issue. And I'll tell you something.
I'll be the first to admit this. I'm worried about
my friend Bill Belichick, who at the age of sixty eight,
I hope he's not too close to it. Mean, really,
we haven't heard about coaches except I think the other
day I heard that Less Miles, the coach of kids,

(46:28):
is the football coach of kids tested positive. So you
know you're looking at guys. I mean, coaches are right
in the middle of all this stuff, and we're not
seeing that. And Bill Belichick at sixty eight years of age,
that's not a good age to be positive, right. And look,
here's the deal, because when we have these conversations, I
just picture a healthy portion of our audience rolling their eyes, like,

(46:48):
what's the big deal? Why are we overreacting? And that
type of thing. It isn't just twenty and thirty year
old healthy NFL players that are probably going to survive
at just line, it's what you just mentioned, Andy, It's
guys like Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick and officials that
are older and staffers that are older, and assistant coaches

(47:10):
that are older. Like if you're over sixty five years
of age, like that's you're in a window where or
you're in a group where you might not have as
much success surviving this thing. So the worst case scenario,
if you're the NFL with this, you exactly But you know,
I get it, and we're gonna talk about this, and
I think there's a possibility that the game may be canceled.

(47:32):
But today's Sunday cancel Wait, hold the ballad canceled? Andy,
or I think it should be postponed. Yea postponed, not canceled, postponed,
will be played at a lated date. There you go,
Here we go, Thank you very much. But today's game

(47:53):
between the Bills and Titans. Now, I said, remember the
list time this happened, that Bills of four and no,
who is that quarterback? The last time they started four?
And oh, anybody out there, anybody but probably Jim Kelly
was at one. It was two thousand eight Trent Edwards
and they went seven and seven and two thousand and eight. Wow,
okay man, that's a great trivia question right there, Trent.

(48:14):
I try my best. I try for you. By the way,
one of my buddies shout out Greg Hoffman, g Man,
I worked with this guy in Fresno, California. You never
forget him saying, you know, Trent Edwards, this guy, he
might be the guy and he wasn't right like we've
all been there before. Um, but yeah, Trent Edwards. He

(48:37):
started off pretty good, right, pretty good out of Stanford,
and then straight downhill didn't quite work out for him. Well,
I'll tell you what the guy is, Josh Allen twelve
t d S one interception and this guy has gotta
be out there in the m v P conversation. I
don't think he's gonna get it because he's playing in Buffalo,
and that that's a factor playing in Buffalo, because Buffalo
is off Broadway, and he's not getting the accolades that

(48:58):
he's deserved. Thus for I don't you got Russell Wilson
out there, You got Patrick Mahomes, you got Lamar Jackson's
gonna make a run, probably as well. So you've got
a lot of guys out there for the m v P,
but I'm throwing Josh Allen's name out there. He's got
to be out there in the name. The one on
four twelve TVs an interception yards right now and the
team's undefeated. Pretty good. Yeah, he's had a really good start.

(49:20):
You're all about getting a lot of people mentioned in
the m v P conversation. You know, you're kind of
like the orange slicest person when it comes to that.
It's like, Russell Wilson is far ahead in this whole
m v P race. He is Aaron Rodgers, the thirteen touchdowns,
no interceptions, He's played magnificent, But everybody is looking up

(49:43):
at Russell Wilson. Agreed, Like, Russell Wilson has been outstanding
so far. He's got the best numbers. He is willing
that team two wins. They've got a stinky past defense,
like historically bad through four games. So if Ross is
leading the charge, he he is leading about three lengths
over Aaron Rodgers. Three Here you go, right, fine, and

(50:04):
even more than Josh Allen. I agree with you. Josh
Allen has had a really strong start to the season.
But when you start saying, hey, you should be mentioned
in the m v P conversation, my mind goes to,
we're just talking about who's in second, third, fourth place,
because clearly russ is number one. Well, you could collect
the winning ticket for you know, win place and show
with the race tracks. So if you finished story, you

(50:24):
still get a ticket, then you get some money. All right,
fair enough, But this game where it's crazy. It's four
and oh versus three and oh on Tuesday night, right,
we have a little Tuesday night football action, and it's
it's weird because the game is a little bit more
of a footnote because it's on a different day, it's

(50:46):
at an odd time where it's four pm on the
West coast, you know. And the Titans with all of
this the last two weeks, everything that's been happening with COVID,
it's like, oh, and by the way, they're scheduled to
actually played this game. You know, it's weird that the
game itself is the oh by the way story, but
it's been all about COVID and the Titans battling it

(51:08):
throughout the last two weeks. Well long, I'm gonna take
a bit of the Brian no bag, which I keep
a little notebook on, Brian no notes. Okay, and this
is a great situation because Titan's obviously a three and
oh but again, look at the competition Denver, Jacksonville, Minnesota.
You know what I'm saying, and that that means something.
And close wins you've taught me. Yeah, close close wins

(51:29):
where they've won by a total of what six points
over those three Minnesota by a point, to beat Jacksonville
by three, and they beat Denver by two. There you
go that math, boys and girls at six points right there,
I'm you know, the bottom line is win the game,
and they've done that. Now I'm really curious to see
how they perform on Tuesday. With as choppy as these

(51:52):
last two weeks have been for them, being away from
the practice facility right doing things virtually, and I I
think that the Bills this sets up perfectly for them
just from a a game standpoint. The Bills have been
practicing like normal at their practice facility compared to the Titans.

(52:13):
The Bills have a obvious advantage heading into this game. Yeah,
I'm more than that. The Titans defense can't stop to pass,
and obviously the see that can't stop the run either.
What do you think should happen to the Titans though?
With them breaking protocols? And we've heard rumors about the
NFL maybe forcing a team that doesn't follow the protocols
to forfeit a game. Where are you with that? Are

(52:36):
you in favor of the Titans forfeiting not? I either
take a draft pick away and find them money. I
just don't think forfeiting a game. That's it's not fair
for the guys who didn't break the protocol you know
what I'm saying. I mean, I understand that had a
practice that was not sanctioned, so to speak, but still
to forefeited game, I mean that could that's like junior
high school in the school yard. You're forefeiting a game.

(52:58):
Come on, right, I hear what you're saying. It. You
got to make an example out of a team that
is blatantly disregarding the protocols like this is, first off,
it's a global pandemic, okay, so you don't want to
be irresponsible from that standpoint, and then when it affects
games when they're scheduled and all of that, Like I

(53:20):
can understand you're not automatically irresponsible if you contract COVID.
You could be completely responsible and go to the gas
station and then just like rub your eye for a
second and be like, oh, shoot, like you can contract
COVID while still being responsible. But the Titans were not.
They were told you can't go practice, there's been an outbreak,

(53:43):
you can't practice at the facility. The next day they're
getting together to go to a school and work out
what is that? What are you doing? Let's go back
during the off season when Tom Brady got the guys
together and they were practicing, they should nothing. Did they
have an outbreak? It Tampaly just have an outbreak, and
where they told you can't go to the practice, ability

(54:05):
was still alive and well, okay, great. There was no
outbreak within Tampa's team. There was with the Titans. So
I don't want to hear about oh, it's the same thing. No,
it's not. It's you're still rolling the dice. You're rolling
the dice. Because when Tom Brady did okay, thank goodness,
there was not an outbreak. But when when Tennessee had

(54:25):
their practice, they didn't faint they'd have an outbreak, but
they did. They did. Man, you're you're reaching on this one.
It's not the same thing that Titans had an outbreak.
They were told by the league, yo, you can't go
to the practice facility, and they were like, that's cool
because we can just go to this random school and
get together and get some work done. It's not what

(54:45):
are you doing? But but the full fit the game
over there, that's that's bad. I mean, I just think
that you can't this other ways. Maybe find the coach,
you don't tell you, suspend the coach, to spend the
coach for a game, take a draft pick away the money,
hit him with money, but whatever. But to lose a game,
that's it's just not I thought from Salam he made

(55:06):
a great point last night and he was talking about
the like provoking a draft pick. It's like if your father,
Andy Ferman, you've got a couple of boys, if you're
kids like earlier, when they were young, they were growing up,
if they were misbehaving and you said, you know what,
I'm going to punish you a year from now, like

(55:27):
they don't care about that. It's like, okay, well so
I can. I'm okay for right now. It's like, yeah,
you're fine right now. That that's that's what taking a
draft pick away is that's not really bringing it home
to not just the Titans, but every team in the NFL.
We're not playing around here. We're not just suggesting that

(55:48):
you follow these protocols. This is mandatory. And unless you
make an example out of a team that's blatantly disregarding
the rules, guess what's gonna happen. More players and more
teams are gonna regard the rules. So I'm totally on
board with making an example out of the type I hear.
I hear the logic there, But the worst thing is
the forfeiture of that game. You're also awarding a team

(56:12):
who had not played a win, which could have fetched
something down the stretch as far as playoff, and they'll say, well,
you got in because you had a forfeit win. I
don't like it. I just don't like it. I hear
what you're saying, sense I don't like it either. But
desperate times called for desperate measures, you know, unless you
want to have, Hey, this game's reschedule, this game's postponed.

(56:35):
If you get enough of those, well then you're gonna
have to start canceling games. You have got to make
it abundantly clear, yo, follow the freaking protocols and we've
got a fighting chance to complete this season. And I
don't think you get that message across by Yeah, you know,
we we find the organization that's not going to get
the message home. No, I'm here. You know you're right,

(56:57):
but I just don't like it. But I hear you right, Yeah,
but you got to put the fifth It needs to
be done. There you go. He's Brian No get him
on Twitter at the No Show and NOI Show at
Andy Ferman FSR eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Yes,
we'll talk to you eight seven seven sixty nine Botta
Barrel betting in this hour our number three nose picks.

(57:18):
But if you have a heart, if you have a
beating heart, you will root for this team that's next.
Don't listening Fox Sports going in the wrong direction. We'll
get to that in just about a minute, about twenty
two minutes past the hour. This is Fox Football Sunday.
He's Brian oh ma, Andy Ferman and the bad news

(57:39):
keeps coming in again. More from Adam Schefter from ESPN
their football Mogul Patriots right now. One positive test this morning.
That makes it four positive tests over the past eight days.
The game against Denver already has been pushed from Sunday
to tomorrow night Monday night and is now in question.
So I guess you said keep your fingers crossed. But

(58:00):
we want to make sure everybody's healthy and we don't
want to have any problems yet. But the ugly face
is raising again, and it made sense if they were
closing down the facility, if seemed to point to it
had to be a positive test, right, so you know
we have confirmation of that being the case. It's a
crazy time, man, because it's that incubation period. Andy, it's

(58:26):
when you have a positive test this late in the week.
I think that you have to postpone games because I
think he got to play it safe. You've got older coaches,
older officials, and if you have a player that we
just found out another another players tested positive, he might
have spread that around to other players. They might have

(58:48):
it right now, it's just not showing up on a test,
and then you're gonna see it up against the Broncos,
and the Broncos could have it and then all of
a sudden, you've got a major problem. So I think
this is the time where in the NFL you how
to play it safe if you have a positive test
this late in the week and I found the Broncos
don't guess up the plane yet, don't guess up the
Plankton England yet. I don't think it's gonna happen. I

(59:10):
don't think it's gonna happen. Yeah, well, hey man, we
saw this with uh think about it. It was a
really good reminder. Was a tap on the shoulder, if
you will, what can happen? Because Gilmore Stefan Gilmore played
on Monday night against the Chiefs. He test depositive for
COVID on Wednesday, and after the game on Monday he

(59:33):
was hugging on Patrick Mahomes and it's like, oh wow,
maybe Gilmore had COVID on Monday and it took a
couple of days to show up on the test. So
it's again a reminder of what can happen. You're so
reliant on the testing being accurate, and sometimes it isn't.
So I think you really have to play it safe.

(59:53):
When you have a positive late in the week like this,
you're on with you right there. I don't think they're
gonna play tomorrow, but because it's gonna be a game
today obvious sleep the Rams and the Washington football team.
I said, going in the wrong direction as Dwayne Haskins,
that quarterback for Washington, bad news for the tight end
Logan Thomas. He just called one path right yards last
week against Baltimore. But Baltimore is tough. But I understand
that Dwayne Hackins, he's gonna be benched. He's benched right now.

(01:00:16):
But this is for our guy, Vina we love Naded
death or executive producer. And I say, if you gotta
root for a team, he does, root for the Washington
football team. You gotta root for this team for one reason,
one reason only their coach, Ron Rivera cancer patient holding
down this mess of a football team together during this pandemic.
So you gotta go out. You have to feel for
this guy. As I said, you've got a beating hearts.

(01:00:38):
You gotta do that. Let's let's take a listen to
our our our squared Ron Rivera. The situation right now
calls for us to do something different, and I'm going
to do something different. And hopefully he understands this is
all part of the learning process. He can come out
on the other and stronger for this or not. Some
people may not agree with me, and that's fine for
me personally and for this football team. I'm taking my shot.

(01:01:00):
I'm gonna see what happens when he's next four. I'm
here to win. Good for him. That's Ron Rivera talking
on Wednesday of this week why he's benching Dwayne Haskins. Look,
you don't have to explain it to me. I bench
him too. It's not a big deal. I mean, I
don't know why you have to go out there and
explain it. You're a coach. You did it. He's not
playing well, boom, that's it. Well. First off, obviously, rooting

(01:01:22):
for Ron Rivera battling cancer, that's first and foremost. So
I pray for his health and hopefully everything goes well
while he's coaching and getting treatment. But he's still he's
a rock man. He's going about his business still. Now
with that being said, this guy is the most overrated
head coach in football. I told you this before he

(01:01:42):
took over the Washington job. I'm telling you this now.
He's yo, yo, Ronnie, that's what I call him. Because
with Carolina there fifteen and one, they're riding high. They're
up next year they're six and ten. Like they're up there, down,
They're up there down like that's Ron Rivera. In eight
full seasons with the Panthers, they had three winning records.
They had three winning years out of eight. He had

(01:02:02):
an m v P and Cam Newton over there. And
this is another indication that he not only benched Dwayne Haskins,
he put him the third string. He's the emergency quarterback
behind Alex Smith now, so that is a dramatic shift.
It was just the week prior he's like, oh no,
I believe in Dwayne Haskins. This is my guy, right,
and now all of a sudden he's the emergency quarterback. Really,

(01:02:26):
I questioned the move to make him the third string quarterback.
Where I get it, you're trying to win right now,
totally understand that. But if you're making him the emergency guy,
you're threatening to completely shatter this kid's confidence whatsoever. And
the chances are, hey, maybe Kyle Allen goes in there
and he doesn't quite kill it, and all of a
sudden you're like, maybe you should bringing the kid again

(01:02:48):
if you demoted him the number three. I just I
questioned that move by Ron Rivera. I'm with you. I
look I wish him well, I mean, he got cancer
him and I'm praying for the guy. But again, he's
not gonna with the can't for his coaching, that's for sure.
He's not gonna be doing that. And today I don't
think he's got a chance at all against the Rams.
Although I'm doing the Brian not test. This is called

(01:03:08):
the Brian not test the Rams right now three and one.
But look who they beat Dallas pretty bad, Philadelphia, they
lose to Buffalo, and they beat the Giants, so basically
their opponents. But still they have the talent and they
will beat up on Washington. Two. Well, hey man, they
only gained two hundred and forty yards last week against

(01:03:29):
the Giants. That's not a crazy offensive display last week
for the Rams. And we know Washington can play some
good defense. They've got a nasty front four. I love
their front seven. So you know, crazier things have happened.
It's a one game situation here, So I don't want
to make it sound like Washington has no chance whatsoever.

(01:03:50):
The Rams haven't been firing in all cylinders exactly. But
I'll say this real fast. Think about Cam Newton. Cam
Newton was a street free agent. Ron re Vera was
his previous head coach. Washington easily could have picked up
Cam and they didn't. They picked up the other guy
from Carolina, Kyle Allen, who's starting today. Cam Newton being

(01:04:11):
in New England, he landed on his feet. Can you
imagine Cam Newton on this franchise compared to the franchise
he is on. He's in a much better situation the
way things worked out. But there's that Ron Rivera who
coached him there, could have had him again and didn't
want him. Basically, well again, it's another reason to question
Ron Rivera, you know, every time, like when he got

(01:04:32):
hired by Washington, everybody in units at ah good higher,
good higher. I'm like, really, okay, I think the guy
is completely overrated. Again, hope everything works out with his health.
And that's a separate section. But if I just look
at the coaching and the track record and the success
or lack thereof, the guy gets celebrated, and I don't

(01:04:52):
think he's earned it, right, you know why he celebrate
Everybody likes him, that's why. And I'm talking mainly before
we even knew about cancer. I'm just talking about his
overall body of work. I think he gets much more
of a free pass than other head coaches that have
a lack of playoff you know, winning. They made it
to the Super Bowl one year and lost. There have

(01:05:16):
been other coaches that have made it to the Super Bowl.
Did anybody talk about dan Quinn glowingly? You know, he's
right up there with Ron Rivera in terms of making
it to a Super Bowl and leaving a lot to
be desired in many years around that. I don't think
anybody's waxing poetic about dan Quinn right now yet, Ron Rivera,
he gets treated differently. You're exactly right, he's Brian Noham,

(01:05:37):
Andy Ferman. Now he now holds the record for most
touchdown passes in team history. We'll tell you who he
is next, but first to our own record holder, Ralph
with the latest. Well, thank you very much. Andy. And
the big news this morning Adam Schefter reporting one Patriots
player tested positive in Saturday's testing with the team. The
NFL subsequently shutting down the newing Land facility for the

(01:06:01):
third time in ten days, everyone being retested. Today. New England,
of course, scheduled to host Denver in a game that
was pushed back to Monday, tomorrow at five Eastern. That
game certainly up in the air of the Broncos were
slated to travel later today. Now everything is in limbo.
Of course, can't ignore what happened on the college gridiron

(01:06:23):
on Saturday. Number one Clemson showing they are very good.
Seven they take care of number seven Miami Trevor Lawrence
with four touchdowns on the day. Number two Alabama scored early,
often and repeatedly in Oxford, taking care of old Miss sixty.

(01:06:44):
Next up they will face third ranked Georgia, the Bulldogs
winners over fourteenth ranked Tennessee number twenty one Texas A
and m the shocker over number four Florida. The Aggies
win at forty one to thirty eight, and asked, gentlemen,
we are five and a half hours away from kickoff.
That countdown and kickoff clock there it is uh seven

(01:07:08):
games getting started in five and a half hours, including
Kansas City hosting the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, the
Chiefs reportedly had a strength coach testing positive for COVID
nineteen that game, though does not appear to be in doubt.
Also not in doubt. We're sending it back right now
to any Ferman and Brian No, thank you, Ralph seeing

(01:07:29):
it just about an hour. Hey, the first to do
it full consecutive seasons. We good to that in just
about a minute. Hey is Briano. I'm Andy Fermen. We
crossed the fifty oddline. And what'll we call Fox Football Sunday?
And welcome back everybody to the Fox Boats Radio studios,
brought to you by Geico. It's easy to say fift
or more on car insurance with Geico. Gotta Geico dot com.
We'll call eight nine four seven at all the only hard,

(01:07:51):
but figuring out which way is easy upon a barrel
betting in list than ten minutes. And as Rael said
Raiders chiefs today. As for the Raids, the rate is
quotterback Arek car has topped Kenny Stabler, Darryl Lamonica rich
Garon with the most touchdown pass in team history. How
do you like that? Pretty good? Pretty good deal. And

(01:08:13):
rich Gannon was a league m v P one year.
Um so it's it's thrown a lot of safe passes.
But um look, Derek car is playing pretty well. And
this is one of those games. This is a reputation changer.
You know, these are the type of games for Derek
Carr's reputation to really change, he needs to win a

(01:08:34):
big game, and uh I don't anticipate that happening because
the Chiefs they have not only beaten the Raiders in Casey,
they have waxed the Raiders. You've got Derek Carry's oh
and six against the Chiefs on the road in his career,
and he's got four touchdown passes, seven interceptions, and uh

(01:08:54):
so you look at the last two games that the
Chiefs beat the Raiders, they've outscored him seventy I have twelve.
So it's it's been rough. And Mahomes eats against the Raiders,
he carves them up more than any other team in
the NFL. So this, to me, this is a mismatch
city I looked for the Chiefs. You know, it's one

(01:09:15):
of these things, Andy, when you go up against the
Patriots and they've got a solid defense, and I thought
they made life really tough for the Chiefs last week.
You go from playing the Patriots and the way they
scheme for the the Chiefs, and then you go to
the Raiders, who aren't as good defensively and aren't as
schemed up. I think that's a recipe for the Chiefs

(01:09:37):
to have a much better offensive day today. So I
look for them to break out. I want to be
surprised if they go for a forty burger today. Where
do you see, well, I say about thirty four seventeen
something like that. They're you got two quartacks right now
there throwing for seventeen touchdowns with no interceptions. That's pretty
good deal. It really is. And you know what, I'm
impressed with the Chiefs because he's been getting to the
quarterback a lot more than than the than they have

(01:09:59):
in years passed. One of the best teams in the
NFL at putting pressure on quarterbacks this year. Monday Night
they sack Brian Horrier twice and they have seven sacks
in the season, which is how you know their defense
was questionable. It's a great team, it really is. And
it's funny. I'm gonna bring out a comparison here, and
I know again they'll make your head spin, But that's
what I'm here for, to make your head spin a
little bit. I look at the Kansas City Chiefs and

(01:10:20):
compare them to like the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.
It's like, you know, they're the team everybody wants to
catch and when the Golden State Warriors were winning, and
we said that back in August before the NBA season
will begin, that we knew that they would be in
the playoffs. They were new. And we know now that
the Kansas City Chiefs, barring many major injuries, will probably
be in the Super Bowl, if in fact, God willing,
we have a Super Bowl. Yeah, I think there are

(01:10:43):
some similarities. I don't think that's that crazy. What I
do think is crazy is the Chiefs are talked about
like they are unstoppable. If you don't score thirty five
points minimal against this team, you have no chance to win.
Like that's how they're talked about a lot. And if
you look at the Patriots last week, against the Patriots,
they had to They didn't score a touchdown in their

(01:11:06):
first six possessions against New England. If you look at
the game couple of weeks prior against the Chargers, the
Chiefs had to punt on five of their first six possessions.
You know, but it's just one of those. If you
go back to Week two and the game and overtime
against the Chargers, remember the Chargers didn't go for it
on fourth and one and the talk after the game is,

(01:11:29):
oh gosh, if you give the ball back to the Chiefs,
it's just a matter of do they score a touchdown
or a field goal? Like there's there's no stopping Mahomes
in the Chiefs. I think that the reputation exceeds the reality.
I don't think that the Chiefs are like that offensively
where they're just unstoppable. You can't hope to get a
stop in overtime against Mahomes. Like it's the Buttker hit

(01:11:53):
a fifty three yard field goal, there was a penalty,
he had a fifty eight yard or there was a
time out, he had another fifty eight yard or it
was a kicking clinic by Harrison, Butker that wasn't a certainty,
Like the guy missed an extra point the next week,
you know what I mean. So I think that the
way the Chiefs are talked about a lot of types.
We know they're fantastic, we get that, but they're talked

(01:12:15):
about as if they are just unstoppable. And that's not
the case. Okay, so I'll throw the shat, you'll put
this in your lab. Unstoppable Do they go undefeated and
look at this, No, not at all. Zero road bump.
Where's the roadbump in this schedule? October fifteen at Buffalo.
I'll be a toughie, it really will. After that, I
don't see anybody. Maybe New Orleans December twenty, Andy, Andy,

(01:12:38):
Before you get ahead of yourself, they almost lost to
the Chargers. Almost doesn't count, all right, but they're right there.
So the tune of going undefeated, they were in overtime
against a rookie quarterback making the first start. I think
there's something to be said about an athlete after they
win seven, eight, nine in a row. I think they

(01:13:00):
starts saying, look, we want to go into I think
there's a different mindset when you get on the field,
rather than just going through the motions. You put it
up a notch a little bit. You want to get defeated.
Zero chance. They might even have a negative chance to
go undefeated. They've shown, like in two of the four

(01:13:20):
games this year, they've shown that they aren't firing on
all cylinders, that they aren't completely focused at times, that
they aren't unstoppable, and they're being built into Oh my gosh,
this team is such a preseason I blame that on
no preseason, I really do. I think that the rust
is off right now, they're gonna there's a chance whatsoever.

(01:13:44):
That's crazy. They just struggled. It should have been a
tie ball game six to six minimal against the Patriots
last Monday. I know, but it Brian Hoyer on the
field that Brian Hoyer doesn't lose track. If they don't
have any time out, it's a tie game at halftime,
right Like, no way they go undefeated. Well I wouldn't

(01:14:08):
say no way. I think there's a chance. There's there's
a better chance they lose four games than go under four.
I don't see four teams on this schedule that will
beat them the challenge. Better chance at least two or
three games minimum, four games they go undefeated. Okay, we'll

(01:14:30):
be We'll bet that garbage that you eat that fruit stuff?
What is it called? No no more bets because you
can't get the right product over here. But I do
pay up. I do pay up on my bets. You
pay up with Blueberry neutral grain bars, are Happy Valley
or something like that. Get Trail mix. You know it
was on sale. It was no they've got I'm telling you, Andy,

(01:14:52):
there's a better chance they lose four games than go undefeated.
We may you know what, we may have to wait
on that. We may have to put some some guilt
on that. Whatever with that, whatever you eat that the
losing streak doesn't start today though they beat the Alright,
he's Brian, No, I'm Andy Ferman. It's flushing it down
the toilet. But with competition. We call it bottom barrel betting,

(01:15:16):
and it's all yours. Next, you're listening to Fox Sports
bottom barrel betting right around the bend. But eleve of
minutes before the top of the hour, he's probably no,
I'm Andy Ferman and this it's Fox Football Sunday on
Fox Sports Radio and the men who is at the
bottom of the barrel. Let's get it done. Let's get

(01:15:38):
it done. He's ready, Let's play the game bottom like
wanted to sleep. You gole get my money. I'll put
your break to sleep betting. Yes, he is the bottom
of the barrel man himself, the one and only veny.
Good morning, guys. Tough week for the fantasy owners out
there with this news out of Patriots in Denver. Your boy,

(01:16:01):
your boy Vinny is also hurting on this. Don't know
what I'm gonna do with my line up? This week?
What do we gonna do? Patrick Lindsay, Now, I don't
know if he's gonna play. All though you referred to
yourself as Vinny, I don't know who that is. I
know who've been a apologize your your boy isn't a

(01:16:21):
little bit of trouble might suffer my first loss. I
am undefeated. The two of us in our league that
are undefeated, I stand in that position. But I have
a feeling not gonna do great this week because they
got a bunch of guys out for By and it
looks like I'm gonna lose, Patrick Lindsay, because I get
a feeling that game is probably not gonna get played

(01:16:43):
or I'm sorry, it's going to get postponed. Right there
you go, it's not gonna We've got through that exercise
last week and straight all right. So um Brian creeping up,
getting getting getting some wins this week four and on
Andy three and two. Season season total stand at fifteen

(01:17:05):
and five for Andy and thirteen and seven, so only
two games back for On your Heels from and on
your freaking heels, my friend. So let's see. I don't
talk about it. I just get it done, all right, huh, yeah,
just like last week to boast, but a little pressure
on you. We gotta have the trash talk, guys. This
is what bottom barrel betting is all about. I need

(01:17:25):
you to throw some trash talk around Andy, eat some
some some tweets in Brian's timeline from you talking trash, health,
bar your fruit bars and go home. All right, So
let's see if I, Brian can make up some steam,
make up some ground. This week we got Drew Brees
passing TDS against the Charger over under of two and

(01:17:45):
a half. I'll go first since I won last week,
so I'll start it off this way. I'm going to
go with the under. I'm taking them going with the over.
I'm going with the because that the right pick. That's
why I'm going with the over. Yeah. Maybe a few
rushing touchdowns here and there. Yeah, that's a good line though,

(01:18:08):
could go either. That's a coin flipper right there. Good
line by las N tries to do its best when
it's making these lines up. By the way, I make
all these up. I don't use I just make them up.
It should be a handicapper. Hey, we'll see that maybe
maybe in another life or next career position later. Keep
it in mind. All right, So we move on a

(01:18:32):
rare I don't think it's ever happened a Tuesday game
in the NFL builds running back Zack Moss rushing yards
against the Tennessee Titans over under a forty five and
a half. Oh, definitely over. Are you kidding? Tennessee can't
stop the run? Wow? You go Zack Moss on us? Interesting? Well,
these are all these are guys that are on the

(01:18:53):
teams of the lineups that I'm facing. That's how I
pick these guys. It's fine. Yeah, I don't think all
Zack us is going to get that many opportunities, right, Like,
he's not the main guy. So I'm gonna go with
the under here. I'm gonna take the under. Devin single Tarry,
he's the bell cow back. So I know Zach Moss,
the third round pick, the rookie out of Utah carries

(01:19:19):
all along. But I'm okay, all right. Next up, we
got Tyler Lockett receiving yards against the Vikings over under
of seventy and a half. You're turned n a um,
That Viking secondary is rough. I'm gonna take the over

(01:19:40):
on that. I got the under, I got the under
on that, all right. Next up, we've got the Indianapolis
Colts defense taking on the Browns. Total sacks over under
of three and a half. The Colts sacking the Browns. Yes, okay,
you're up. I'm not do I go onder, I got

(01:20:01):
the I'm gonna go under as well. That's a lot
for in one game. I'm gonna it's a lot, all right.
And finally, Jake Elliott, he plays against the Steelers. I
need field goals made over under a two and a half.
I'll go on your turn. I'm sorry, Yeah, I like
the over in this one. I like the under. Alright,

(01:20:24):
come on, Jake, alright, some field there we go. Maybe
Brian can make up some ground. We'll see, maybe we
gotta have a tie. Next feels like another winning way.
But by the way, this team is a penalty machine.
Will tell you who they are on Fox Football Sunday.
Next the Fox Sports d Way. Don't you hear these numbers?

(01:20:46):
That's coming right up. But right now it's time to say,
wake up, America, wake up. Yes it is not time. Yes,
thank you very much, it is Fox Football Sunday. Thank
You's enough already, he's Brian noah ma and the we'll come. Sorry,

more powerful in the world of sports media that my guy,
my partner, my friend, the brains of the outfit, the
one and only brian O. Hello, b what's going on?

(01:21:29):
Andy Ferman? You know it's funny, man, is when you're like,
not already, I think with the uh, the rooster sound
effects over there. Yeah, it's a little bit like when
you get really cranked up in the first hour and
you're like, wait, god, Bamarica. You know that's the equivalent

(01:21:50):
of the of the rooster sound effect. You know, I
sound like that. You say sound like that. You really
let it go, Like yeah, but hey, man, I like
your energy. I'm always a fan of your energy, Andy Firm,
And you're fired up. It's a football Sunday. We just
had a really interesting Dave Saturday college football. We got

(01:22:12):
lepron and Company trying to close it out tonight. Right,
that whole thing on Friday with should Lebron have shot it?
Should he have passed? In all that stuff, there's a
lot to react to. Man, I'm fired up today as well.
You know, it's funny you talk about Lebron, you talk
about the NBA, talk about college football, yes today, NFL today,
never once mentioned baseball. And not that I want to
go down that road. I'm just saying it's a shame

(01:22:35):
that that sport at once was called America's pastime. And
it's true, it's past. It's time it really for whatever
of the reason, I don't want to get into it,
but it's it's really we don't want to get into it,
then let's not if you want, I don't, I don't.
I want to do a Baseball is not being talked
about like it once was for the ninetieth time. I'm

(01:22:56):
good on that. I hear you, I understand, but I'm
more interested in ball today. And let's I'll say this
real fast. The Astros they are great for baseball, moving
on to the a LCS because they're hated. If it's
Astro's Dodgers in the World Series, Manfred will be like,

(01:23:18):
oh sweet, oh, this is beautiful. Every you'd get the
casual fan with the storyline like that, every single promo
for every game should be Joe Kelly making the sad
face at Carlos Korea. If that's the World Series matchup,
that would be tremendous for Major League Baseball. Well, I
will tell this, Major League Baseball right now is like
banging ahead against the wall because the NFL this week

(01:23:41):
is gonna play on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Right.
I mean, it's a killer of all times. They've never
ever played on a Tuesday, but now they have it.
They have what's happened before. Yes, it's happened the um
but yeah, it's rare. It's very very rare that it happens.
But you're if you're Rob Manford, you've gotta be like, really,

(01:24:03):
so we got one. We got as it stands right now,
we don't know if it's gonna happen with another positive
test for the Patriots, but as it stands right now,
a double header on Monday. My guess is that's not
what happens. We've got a Tuesday night game. As you said,
Thursday night. Man friend's gonna be like, really, really, we
what are we gonna have the NFL on Wednesday. Tell
what's going on over here? Tell about raining on my parade?

(01:24:23):
Huh right, I'm real, I mean, of all times to do.
But that's fine, there's no big deal. We move on.
I'll tell you, well, that's good ball today. No team,
No team has more penalties thirty two in the Arizona
Cardinals lest Sunday they lost to Carolina. I was shocked.
They had the ball for a few of the twenty
three minutes, six turnovers in that time. And today they're
gonna fatten up because they're playing the Jets. And I

(01:24:45):
don't know who's worse to get to the Giants, but
they're both right down there. We do about bottom barrel
betting there at the bottom of the barrel. The gina terrible.
But what has happened to the running back of Arizona
Kenyan Drake? I mean the city is a chest injury?
Does he play today? I have not seen an a
report on that. I guess Drake is gonna play today,
Otherwise it would have heard that he's not playing today. Okay,

(01:25:06):
one quickie. It has to happen where we talk a
little finals with Lebron and like Arizona Jets. Really we
gotta get in Lebron. Like, this is where I draw
the line when we're talking Jets over here and not
the NBA finals. But I'll say this real fast. Joe
Flacco in man, this had Arizona written all over it.

(01:25:27):
You're kidding me. Joe Flacco hasn't played in a year,
he hasn't gotten the reps due to injury. What's he
gonna do today? Arizona hasn't been crushing it defensively, but
are they gonna be able to match points with Arizona?
I don't think so. Arizona. They only had two d
and sixty two yards of offense last week against the Panthers,

(01:25:49):
and that was the second lowest of the week. The
Rams had the lowest output. But I think that this
Cardinals offense against a stinky Jets defense gets on track today.
So I think touchdown. Yeah, I think comfortable. Okay, let's
talk talk NBA right now. The Lagos are closing out
tonight and everybody's making that big whoopee about Lebron taking
that last shot. Look, you know, no one know what's

(01:26:11):
talking about the pass that went out of bounds. That
was ridiculous. That was nuts. I mean, really well, we're
talking about it, but it's a footnote, right, and it
shouldn't be with Mark Keith Morris. That was one of
the worst passes I've ever seen. It's like, just where
was that going? Who? What was the idea that? And meanwhile,

(01:26:31):
just to his right is a guy named Lebron James
who's wide open. If Mark Keith Morris makes the right play,
it's funny, You're right, Andy, It's all this is about Lebron,
like quote unquote, not making the right play or the
right pass. Look at Mark Keith Morris. If he makes
the right pass, we might be talking about Lebron already

(01:26:51):
winning his fourth championship. Right. It amazes me. You know,
you got Anthony Davis and Lebron and everybody's saying, well,
Lebron should be the MVP if they win. Did Anthony
Davis let me tall? You something on way off base?
But I think I'm right on this one. I think
Ray Jean Rondo shop the m v P way he's
played the way he's played. Well, Okay, Anthony Davis is

(01:27:13):
averaging thirty two points and almost you're a stack guy
you want to go by. Yeah, production kind of matters.
It's production. It's what you're doing. It's how much. Okay,
Anthony Davis, who's getting the ball. Why what you said
about Julian Edelman starting for the Patriots. No, it's Rajon Rondo.

(01:27:35):
The m v over. Lebron is hipping the bulls of
basketball credibility. You are you're often wagon with. Do I pray?
Do I pray that he gets the m v P goods?
And I got fifty points tonight, he would be an
m v P consideration. He still wouldn't get m v
He's making offense and making the offense go. But you

(01:27:59):
know the way these vote, it's all gonna be on stats.
It's gonna be Ron thing the offense go. Made a contribution. Okay,
he was one for seven last game. He was over free,
over three from three point range, and he had five assists. Okay,
So like making the offense go, Lebron is making the

(01:28:19):
offense go. Like man assist Lebron has in this series compared.
But I can't believe he said that with a straight face. Okay.
By the way, moving backwards for a second. According to
the Alliance Sports, there's been two other NFL games on Tuesday,
which I did not know that October six, I was
not around the New York Giants beat the Boston Yanks seventies.

(01:28:40):
If I missed that game, I'm sorry. I didn't have
tickets for that one, okay, and the Vikings Eagles was
moved to a Tuesday in due to a blissit which
I didn't remember that game. I don't remember that one.
Was that the roof was that? I think Vikings had
Eagles though, so it must have been in Philadelphia. Maybe
the game was supposed to be in Minnesota and there
might not have been the metro dom. I don't know.

(01:29:01):
We have to check that out. But remember when the
roof collapsed because all the snow on. I don't know
if that's why it was postponed. I'm not sure about that,
but yeah, it's it's pretty rare, pretty rare. But hey,
sorry I missed that Giants busting Yanks game. Really I
wonder what the spread was on that game. But but
real fast, while we're talking about the finals here, super fast, Yes,

(01:29:22):
I want to know where you stand on Lebron with
dishing it to Danny Green, because there are a lot
of people beating up on him for that decision. Where
do you stay on it. First of all, I stand
on a bigs That's that's Lebron. I mean he he is.
He is a feeder and that's what he does. And
Danny Green had an open shot in the corner. That
that was Danny Green shot. And Danny Green makes that

(01:29:44):
shot nine out of ten times, makes it blindfolded. So
he blew the shot. Come you tell me if you
gotta take the shot, that's what the does. I'm telling you,
Danny Green is not hitting nine out of ten eighty
eight from three. He was open, he had an open shot,
he had a wide open look. Lebron set gave him

(01:30:04):
the ball. He blew the shot. What I tell you,
You know what it's because tonight they went in and
they closed it out. There's no big whoop. Okay listen, uh,
Lebron has been getting crushed for passing the ball. I'm
not part of that community. Because Jeff Van Gundi was
preaching at the end of that game. He was like,
I'm getting the ball out of Lebron's hands. Right. We

(01:30:26):
are converging on him, we're doubling him, we're tripling whatever
we have to do. We're getting the ball out of
Lebron's hands, because he was the guy that was hitting
buckets at the end. He was the guy that was unstoppable.
Unless so when he was driving at the end and
you've got Duncan Robinson and Jimmy Butler converging on him,

(01:30:47):
that's not a legitimate shot attempt for Lebron. He made
the right play, Danny Green, You've got to hit that
shot or at least come closer. He barely drew iron
and then Mark Kith Morris, I don't even know, like
what he was thinking that pass been drinking close up
of him like my fault. I don't know, Like it
was a tight, tight close up for him to be like,

(01:31:10):
let me let me throw something out here to you, Okay,
let me throw this out and maybe you know, maybe
I know you'll joke up. But I'm just throwing it
out because it's in my mind. I want to get
it out. M v P. They may. It's very rare.
Jerry West once got the m v P on a
losing situation. What if Jimmy Butler m v P. What
is it a possibility? No, I mean the way he's

(01:31:32):
played in this series, five point triple double, he's been tremendous.
But what Lebron has done in this series, what a
d has done in this series, I'm sorry, Jimmy Butler
is not winning the m v P on a losing team.
It's not happening, no chance. You know what. It's funny.

(01:31:53):
I throw these things out because I pray to Goodness
that things like this happened so I can laugh at you.
That's why I throw it out. Really, I mean, I
would think that if if they win tonight, if Miami
wins tonight and Butler has a big game and then
it forces another game and then the Lakers win, there's
a chance there is a chance Butler could get it.
You know, you're so adamant. You're so adamant on that

(01:32:17):
because lepron has been fantastic and Davis has also, So
a guy on a losing team is not gonna win.
It not happening. And you're so adamant that the Kansas
City Chiefs won't go on defeat it. Oh, one of
these things could come true, right, I'll say this though,
Jimmy Butler has a better chance to win m v
P than Rondo does. Okay, Rondo has no chance to

(01:32:44):
win m v P. You're kidding me. Does Jimmy Butler
have a better chance to win the m v P
than Julian Edeman quarterback into Patriots tomorrow night? Yes, he
actually does. I'm pushing. I'm reaching for strawants here. I'm
pulling out everything on my act. Maybe I gotta rap
it the next time. I don't know, but I'm trying.
But I don't think the things I'm saying that that ridiculous.

(01:33:05):
By the way, the metro they're they're absurd. Andy there
read they're not absurd, so they are. Like to suggest
Rondo has a chance to win m v P is lunacy.
Lunacy and also Lebron. Last game he scored forty pointsound
seven assists. If the Lakers win, which they will, and

(01:33:26):
my guess is they win tonight, it's gonna be Lebron
winning the m v P. The only other guy that
has a chance is Anthony eight. That's it. Okay, we'll see,
we'll see that the list. By the way, let let
me do this a dendum over here from vin A.
The Vikings Egos game was moved to December twenty eight
because of a blizzard in Philly. The Metrodome roof collapsed December. Okay,

(01:33:47):
now now I gotta plea Okay, because they moved it
from Minnesota to Philly, so it went from a home game.
Yeah wow, okay, okay, yeah that was that was a
decade ago. Beat me to a pulp. This blood coming

(01:34:07):
out of my ears and my eyes right now, and
I want to have this shows the strength of our relationship. Okay.
Like if you don't have a good relationship, sometimes people
are nice, They're like, well, you know, maybe Rondo has
a chance. That's not where you and I are in
our relationship. We're better than that. So I can be

(01:34:28):
like you are freaking crazy like Looney Tunes, go to
a psycho a word immediately, don't watch football today, psycho
word for you. And that's just the strength of our relationship.
I want to hear if there's someone out there in
this Fox Sports Radio universe that would agree with me.
That's all I'm saying on what anything, on anything, Rondo Edelman,

(01:34:54):
undefeated Chiefs, anything, I need some there's someone that would
agree with you on the undefeated Chiefs thing. They can
do that. Those are the people that are wrong, but
they would agree with Listen to that. I got the crickets,
all right, they could do that on Twitter at Andy
Ferman f SR or at the No Show and we
should or even call at eight seven seven ninety nine

(01:35:14):
on Fox and that translates to eight seven seven sixty
nine later in this hour. Do not leave nose picks
later in this hour. But man, I'm anticipating firm disagreement
across the board with whoever I pick right based on
this last seven. I'm gonna take the over in this
Sunday night game because we have a loving relationship. We

(01:35:40):
may agree to disagree, but you and I are never disagreeable.
That's the game right there. Write it down. He's the
defensive player of the year. That's next sports. It should
have been a data celebrate. We'll tell you why they
didn't in a minute. About twenty one minutes pay us.
The hour of this is Fox Football Sunday. He's probably

(01:36:02):
no hm Andy Firm. By the way, be by the way,
we got a couple of tweets, if I may, I'd
like to share them with you, Okay, truck a Joe
Big Trucker Joe on Twitter says, I don't agree with
all of what you have said. So basically, when you're saying,
trucka Jose, you don't agree me at all. I don't
agree with all that. That's that he just said, not
all the time. But I will agree with you on

(01:36:25):
one thing. If the Heat win, Jimmy Butler will be
the m v P. That's not what you said. I
didn't say that, right, So he's not agreeing with you.
He's just bringing up his own stance here. It's just saying,
I say lose, he'll still win it. Yeah, I said
I if he went tonight, does it change Jimmy Butler
might still get the m v P if they lose.
I said that, So I didn't say what you're saying,
truck of Joe. But he said, if the Heat win,

(01:36:47):
Jimmy Butler will be the m VP. Just like the
andre I Guidola one. Lebron James is the better in
that series, but he lost. He didnt win the m
v P. Yeah, exactly, And like Lebron went but list
in that series, he should have won m v P
and he didn't. So like there's precedent here. What am
I gonna move mountains to win an m v P

(01:37:08):
on losing side? I think there's only one time it's
happened to amby Jerry West wanted when they lost. But
that's it's not happening with Lebron and a d doing
what they've done in this chance that Jimmy Butler on
a losing side wins m v P. None, Robin Minnesota
on Twitter. I've always agreed with everything you say. Andy, Okay,

(01:37:28):
all right, Bow on Twitter on board with Butler for
m v P. How do you like that? Good luck
with that? Good luck with that. It's not happening. Like
Jimmy Butler has played fantastic basketball, but like some people
have amnesia, the details matter when you're talking about winning

(01:37:49):
m VP on a losing side. Remember earlier in the series,
I called him Jimmy Passes and he was game Game two,
Jimmy Butler would drive and then all of a sudden,
open the air and kick it back out to a
guy on the perimeter. It's like, dude, what do you do?
You got Caruso on you. He's not a hack as
a defender, but that's your time to eat. And then

(01:38:10):
he turned it back into Jimmy buckets in game three.
He understood that and just wasn't as sort of enough
on the scoring end in game two. That stuff matters.
You can't have a performance like that in a series
on the losing team. And when m v P it's
not happening at all. Data offensive foul call on Caruso
the other night too, by by the way, last one

(01:38:30):
here this is Mark from Medford. I guess it's Medford, Ohio,
he said, uh hey, Butler certainly can when the m
v P. Rondoll's value was winning the rated by the
way mark, And Medford also says talking about a great
tennis match today, Nadala, no Yokovic, by the way, Mark,
We're gonna talk about that an hour and number four Okay,
it's not fourth hour. We'll talk about the tennis match,
so stay tuned. Cheap shot at tennis. How about Raphael

(01:38:54):
and the doll? What is and two at the French
Open that is unbelieved? Stop stop up? What no more?
But now you want to talk Bengals football. I could
give you one nugget about the doll. That's his Fox
Football Sunday. They fall under that umbrella. Even though, by
the way, way, there's a difference between saying Rondo's value
has been underrated and saying he should be the m

(01:39:16):
v P of the series. Right, there's a Grand Canyon
sized gap between those two statements. Yes, Rondo is valuable
for the Lakers. He's made his presence, not last game
when he was one for seven, but he has made
an impact. He's sniffing MVP for the seame. I'm the
schmuck that said m v P. But Mark for Medford
said his values underrated, So Mark, kudos to you. All

(01:39:39):
Right now, this team should have been celebrating the other day.
I'm talking about Colts Browns game. The Browns beat Dallas
this week, and look at the potential defensive player of
the year in that game. Defensive end Miles Garrett of
the Browns tremendous. He's got five sacks and a strip
sack in each of the last three games, all wins
by the Browns. But the fact of the matter is
they didn't celebrate bigglers. The Brown's injury to running back

(01:40:00):
Nick Chubb with his knee. That's big. That's a big
deal because the Brown's pad at the time probably the
best one to running back punch in the league. They
really did so that's a big factor. Right. Although I
still like the Browns today to win, I still because
although I thought Philip Rivers would have a good home
in Indianapolis and change his ways, he's still got four
t d s and three an t s. Well, hey man,

(01:40:24):
he's with Baker Mayfield. They've got the twenty nine passing
attack in football, their number one in rushing, twenty nine
in passing. And you could sit here and be like, well, Brian,
I mean they run the ball more. Look at the Packers.
The Packers are fourth in rushing, their fourth in passing. Now,
I look at these numbers before the Thursday night game,
because when you get that Thursday night game, it kind

(01:40:45):
of throws a wrench into all this stuff. This is
before Thursday, right, the Packers fourth in passing, fourth in rushing.
So I'm not gonna sit here and just treat Baker
Mayfield like, well, they've got the best rushing attacks, so
it makes sense that they're twenty nine in passing. No,
he's got to be better and less of a running
game With no Nick Chubb is gonna put more on
the shoulders of Baker Mayfield. And this is a really

(01:41:08):
good matchup against a good defense in Indianapolis to give
us a gauge as to can Baker handle more on
his plate when you don't have your fork full compliment
of a rushing attack with Nick Chubb, who's a major
part of that rushing attacks. Still love their offensive line
and you still can gain yards. You've got Kareem Hunt

(01:41:30):
is a little gimpy, but the Ernest Johnson he almost
rushed for a hundred yards last week. They can still
pick up yards rushing the football. But Baker is going
to have to do more, can heat? That is the question? Well, oh,
Dell Beckham showed me something last week three touchdowns against
Dallas had about a hundred and fifty four yards. So
he's come alive right now. They got they got great
players on the offensive side of the ball. I mean,

(01:41:51):
Chub's gone, but they still got Kareem Hunt and on
the receiving a landry they got Beckham, they got got played.
The key is can can they quarterback deliver the boiled
to them? That's the key. Yeah, he's got to be
more consistent. He's up down. But I think both of
these teams are flying right under the radar. And it
goes back to Week one. You had the Colts lose

(01:42:12):
to Jacksonville and it was like, oh, gosh, what's going
on here? Right? Philip Rivers had a couple of interceptions.
That was a very disappointing loss. And how about the Browns?
In Week one, just got wrecked by the Ravens. What
was it, thirty eight to six. It is brutal. And
ever since then, both teams haven't lost the game. They're
both three and one heading into this one, so both

(01:42:35):
teams flying under the radar. I think if you had
to break the tie, who do you think is more
underrated right now? Colts are Browns? What do you think?
I'd say the Cults are simply because of who they played,
because the brown schedule right now, besides bolt Whether is
the only power team that they played that they beat
the Bengals, to beat Washington, beat Dallas, you know, great,
the three and one beautiful. I'm happy for him. But

(01:42:56):
they haven't beaten anybody. This is the Brian Knowles rule.
But the Colts, you know, they played a little heavier schedule,
a little. I still think Minnesota is better than their record.
You know, the Jets a terrible, Chicago's a pull pull
Man's foreign one, and Jacksonville stinks. But I lost to Jacksonville. Well,
I think the schedules are pretty comparable. I just look

(01:43:16):
at the defense. Indie plays actual defense. The Browns don't.
And and that's why I think that the Colts are
more underrated. I think that, uh, you know, like it's
you're not gonna get a whole lot of attention, as
you should, but you're not gonna get a ton of
attention for playing really solid defense. The Colts have, but

(01:43:37):
they aren't celebrated. Like they don't have the big, flashy names.
With the Browns. You do have Odell Beckham Jr. Right,
You've got Jarvis Landry, You've got some of those. You've
got Myles Garrett, who should be a flash year name.
He's he's another defensive Player of the Year candidate. Um.
But I just think that the lack of name recognition
outside of Philip Rivers, at least names that are celebrated.

(01:43:59):
You don't have that with the Colts. I think they're
more underrated. That could be, though, I tell you right now,
I like the Browns to win this game. Though, yeah,
I really do. I hope you're right, because Eddie Garcia
will have to jump into the fountain across the Fox
Sports radio studios that make the playoffs. When that happens,
I'm coming out to see it. I want to see.

(01:44:20):
I will be there too. Write in the water for
a while, see how long he could hold his breath.
I think yeah, I think that would make for a
good video for social media. Is kind of like me.
Remember the fight scene at the end of Point Break
where Patrick Swayzy is holding Kiano Reeves under the water
for a little bit. How about me like holding Eddie

(01:44:42):
Garcia under the water. Should the Browns make the playoffs?
I think that you hold this in on the water.
I'm gonna call all the TV stations in l A.
I want this on TV. There you go, all right,
making a media event, that's what we'll do. I like
how your mind works. Yes, we should make that happen.
Then we go, all right, Brian no Andy farm in

(01:45:02):
Fox Sports Sunday on Fox Football Sunday, right on Fox
Sports Radio. Way doill you hear these numbers? But first,
wait till you hear from Ralph Vin with the latest. Well,
thank you very much, Handy. Wait a minute, but first
we'll do We'll do the Farmers next time. Wait there,
all right, I was gonna tease you with the Farmers,
but we'll do Farmers next time. Well, I'll just say

(01:45:25):
that I know Fountain because he could get wings right
next door. So yeah, hey, Ralph, let's go to beat Dubs.
Let's get some wings and then let's ball. Let's hold
Eddie Garcia's head underwater for like a suitable amount of time.
We don't want to drown the guy, but let's let's
make him panic just a little bit. Right, Well, there's

(01:45:46):
there's already panic going on in the NFL. That's because, yeah, guys,
it's continuing. Tom Palliser reporting the Titans have shut their
facility down again. That's because a staff member had tested
positive for COVID nineteen and they're working with the NFL
right now on the circumstances. For you. With me, I

(01:46:11):
don't know what the circumstances are with this staff member.
So it depends on whether or not he's been in
contact with the team or or something along those. He
could be a guy there's the laundry, I mean exactly.
It could be someone who's had no interaction and simply
as testing positive. So we will find out about that.
But meanwhile, yes, we are four and a half hours
away from the start of our NFL Sunday, the countdown

(01:46:35):
to kick off is on and Adam Schefter reporting that
that one Patriots player didn't test positive and Saturday's testing.
The Patriots found out about it late Saturday night, so
nobody has been at the facility today. The NFL did
shut it down for the third time in ten days.
The team only did a brief walk through yesterday outdoors

(01:46:56):
when the facility had reopened. Otherwise, no team activity since
they played the Chiefs last week, so they haven't been
together at all. New England. Believe it or not, this
game is still likely to be played, Tom Pella Sero
saying the NFL not completely unexpected and doesn't mean cancelation.
Schefter reporting the league expects to play Monday, as the

(01:47:20):
game is currently scheduled. But here's a wrinkle. Gentleman Tom
Curran from NBC Sports Boston says the sentiment amongst Patriots
players they may not want to play, and so the
NFL could move forward, but the Patriots could still pull
the plug on that game, which is scheduled for five

(01:47:41):
o'clock Eastern on Monday. So a lot of fluidity in
this situation as we make our way again. Four and
a half hours away from the start of our box,
Ralph Irvan influx. Yes, not to be confused with the
flex defense of the Dallas Cowboys from years ago. But

(01:48:01):
we will send it back to two men who are
always inflex in flux and yet flexing their football muscles.
Is Hey, I was saying nice things. I was saying
nice things, and then you took me to the dog track,
and well, I won't talk about that promotion you did. Andy.

(01:48:22):
As we get get back to Andy Ferman and Brian No,
thank you very much. Aid that hot and cold. We'll
explain that in just a minute. He's probably know all that.
Andy Ferman, Welcome back the Fox Bots Radio studios, brought
to you by Geico. It's easier to save fift more
on car insurance with Geico. Gotta Geico dot com. Well
call eight hundred nine four seven or the only hard
part figuring out which way is easier those picks unless

(01:48:43):
than ten minutes. I here's the question. I have Ralph
Urban tremendous reporting today on Old Council of this game
tomorrow five o'clock Eastern time, New England, hosting Denver. How
come I'm not putting the finger on Ralphai. But how
come none of these media people are checking if Denver
is ready to play their play, is are willing to play,
or if they're gonna pack their bags, are gonna on
the plane to fly to New England. That's the story

(01:49:04):
everybody so about New England opening up, closing camp whatever
it may be, the facility, and now that so of
these New England players looks like they may be opting
out to play tomorrow night. But let's see what's happening
on the Denver end of it. Okay. I don't know
why we don't unless maybe it's too too early and
then a mountain time. I guess maybe that's the reason.

(01:49:25):
I don't know. Well, it's just it's new, right. We
haven't heard of a team saying, yeah, we don't, we
don't think it's safe to play, So it's just not
a natural question to be like, hey, Broncos, you want
to play? Like if they said that they were worried
about it, okay, then that would be a story. But
I don't, Yeah, I don't. I don't think that's the

(01:49:48):
the initial question. Now that the Patriots reportedly have said that,
now it becomes a question, right, but not before the Patriots,
and I'm sure there are some players on Denver the same. Look,
I don't think it's safe for us to play. Let's
not play. Well, there are some that have said that,
But did they take it to the next phase, which
is we're not playing? There have been a lot of comments.

(01:50:08):
Darius Slay from the Eagles. He said, yeah, I don't
think we should have been playing at all this year,
and that's okay, that's fine, but he's still playing. So yeah,
the Patriots where the Broncos. Is there anybody that takes
it to that next degree, which is I don't think
we should be playing and I'm not playing? Correct your take?
I say that game will not be played tomorrow. Um,

(01:50:32):
I don't know. I really don't. If I had to
bet one way or the other, I would bet that
it's not. But that could be a losing bet because
I don't know. It seems like the NFL once too,
as of right now, pushed through it. It doesn't sound
like the Patriots do. So my money is on it
not being played. I also think when you have a

(01:50:55):
positive test this late in the week, that's a big
deal and all. So I wonder who it is, right,
like we have uncertainty about is Cam going to play?
Is to find Gilmore going to play? And whoever this
mystery player is who just tested positive? What if it's
another prominent Patriots player. Now I ask you this question,

(01:51:15):
and it's kind of like it's illegal East question. I mean,
with HIPPA rules, how comes certain? Why are certain players
names being released that they tested positive? Don't they have
the opportunity of the the the option to say, look,
according to HIPPA rules, I don't want my name out there.
I mean Cam did not have to have his name
out there, did he or he voluntarily gave out his name.
And baseball players, we we heard that the Cardinals whatever,

(01:51:37):
we didn't know which Cardinals tested positive. Baseball did that.
They protected the hippo rule, and I don't know why
the NFL does not do that. Well, the NFL, they've
got the COVID list, and if you are on that thing,
it doesn't necessarily mean that you contracted COVID. It means
you either did contract it or you are around someone
that had it and you're at risk to test positive

(01:52:00):
as well. But it's not a certainty that you have it.
Um So look, man, it's one of these deals where
I think it's really interesting where the Patriots think about this.
They had to play against the Chiefs without Cam Newton,
and I think it's not just the safety thing, it's yo,
we don't have our full team right now due to COVID,

(01:52:22):
and I think that's part of it. Also where reportedly
some of the Patriots players don't want to play the
game on Monday against the Broncos, and maybe one of
the reasons being is that because they're not a full
strength Not so much the COVID situation, Like, you know,
give me a fighting chance at quarterbacks down, Gilmore's down
and Bill Murray's down. Yes, Phil Murray on the Patriots
practice squad guy. But yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's

(01:52:44):
not just the safety thing, it's we don't have our
main guys like that matters. So and I don't know,
you know, the Patriots, they're gonna play coy about this.
Belichick before the latest positive test, he was like, hey,
hour by hour, day by, we don't know if Cam
ors to find Gilmore are going to play. If this
game is played tomorrow, I'd be shocked if both Cam

(01:53:08):
and Gilmore missed the game. And what is just do
for the odds, people like in Vegas, Miss Jos and Crab. Look,
fantasy football players are going nuts. We heard that a
they're going crazy. But the people set the odds out
in Vegas, the betting lines, they must be going crazy
with these situations. Yeah, and a lot of them are
off right. They're not gonna post a line without knowing, Hey,
who's gonna play? Is cam playing? Is Gilmore playing? Those

(01:53:31):
a huge piece of information. So a lot of those
lines they're just gonna be taken off the board until
that becomes clear. Right. Look, I don't think Maybe maybe
there's a wager out there in Vegas somewhere if in
fact they're gonna play or not play, that could be
a wager, could be I don't know. Well I know
is this the Giants and Cowboys are playing, and they
may be playing for the top spot in the conference.

(01:53:54):
To think about that, I mean one four, one and
three vision the division, I mean, and the Giants still
have a shot. I mean, din not out of it.
Get that that's the worst division. That crazy Giants still
have a shot. There would a game and a half
back of the Eagles at four um. Yeah, man, Like
I look at it, this way, Andy, think about how

(01:54:16):
sweet it would have been for Lane Kiffin to beat
Nick Saban last night? Right, remember going back when Nick
Saban was the I'm sorry, he was the head coach
and Lane was the O C. And Lane would get
ripped on the sideline if he called to play, not
to Nick Saban's liking. He would have loved that. Think
about the game that you just brought up. How sweet

(01:54:37):
would it be for Jason Garrett, the former Cowboys head
coach now the Giants offensive coordinator, to head into Dallas
and to smack around the Cowboys and win a game. Oh,
that would be sweet for Jason Garrett. They've only scored
three touchdowns in four games. That Giants offense is exactly

(01:54:57):
killing it. But I think they're gonna get the year
today against the Cowboys defense that I don't think they'll
beat him, though, I think the still win. By the way,
let's go back first said, there's Lane Kiffin so much
TV listen he put on a couple of lbs, didn't
he a little bit? I mean, I look, look he
had like a second schin. It looked like he had.
To me, maybe it was maybe my TV was out

(01:55:17):
of wet. I don't know, but I didn't remember Lane
Kiffin looking that big. I didn't think the food was
that good Mississippi. Really, I mean, he's in Florida Atlantic,
didn't he It's better food in South Florida. I think
that in Mississippi. I don't know about that. I'm not
sure that's that's correct. I don't know, but yeah, I
thought it was funny. In interview leading up to that
game last night, Lane Kiffin was talking about all the

(01:55:39):
tweets that he was sending when he was over at
Florida Atlantic, and he was like, yeah, I don't do
that as much now I had a little bit more
time in Conference USA. I thought that was a hilarious line.
That's much time in the SEC. You gotta be doing
coaching stuff instead of tweeting. But yeah, they hung tough
with Bama, gave him a game that's a close one
till the end, right, didn't probably it was five at

(01:56:01):
one point in time. And look, I'm gonna say this,
and I don't want to be to kiss of death here.
But again I mentioned earlier today, I watched the game.
They pan the stands, no social distancing, and I didn't
see any person wearing a mask in five days from now.
I want to see if there's an outbreak in Mississippi.
That's all I'm saying. You know, I hope not. But really,
you were playing with death. I mean I watched the games.

(01:56:23):
Wait a minute, I didn't see one person with a
mask in the stands. And more than that, no one,
none of the announces even mentioned that. I don't understand.
But it's a horrible idea. Man, if you're gonna go
to a game, we're a freaking mask. It's I don't
understand you. Yeah, there you go, play by the rules.
That's what you gotta do. Brian know, Andy Ferman, where

(01:56:45):
did it tell you why you don't drink and dry?
Don't listen to Fox Sports Radio nose picks coming right up.
That's Brian No, I'm Andy Ferman. This is Fox Football
Sunday on Fox Boats Radio. By the way, at the
top of the hour, about ten minutes from now, that'll
be nine o'clock on the East coast. LaVar Arrington and

(01:57:05):
Mike Harmon What I want to punch that is? Do
you hear him on the I Heart radio app? Serious
ex Channel Lady three and of course a many of
the same Fox Sports Radio affiliates Arrington Harmon Harmon Arrington
top of the al. But right now, my guy, Brian
No and Nose Picks, are you in desperate need of

(01:57:29):
gambling insight? Yes, Brian No is here and now the
time is come for all right, rapid fire here Andy
from a winning week again two in one. Last week,
your Bengals screwed it up though covering the spread. Should
have been undefeated, but they rose to the occasion. But

(01:57:50):
we're looking for even better today. I'm looking for three
and oh no, I'm going with Arizona minus seven at
the Jets. Joe Flacco is in. The Jets defense stinks.
I think Arizona's offense wakes up they cover the seven
points spread. I'm gonna look to the Sunday night game.
The over fifty six and a half. We got the

(01:58:11):
Vikings against the Seahawks. I call this stink versus stink.
In terms of defense, I don't like the Vikings secondary.
I think russ Is gonna eat. I don't like the
Seahawks past defense. They stink. That's how bad they are.
I think they go over that total fifty six and
a half points, and at the end it's my final pick.
I've got the g Men today plus eight and a

(01:58:34):
half at Dallas. Dallas is favored by eight and a
half the Visional game. I think the Giants are gonna
score enough points to keep it close enough. I'm taking
the g Men plus eight. Good luck to you, Good
luck my friend. Yeah, what do you have? Are you
with me? What do you think? Giants? Pick? I don't
have the Giants and the Vikings? She looks. I'll tell
you what that fifties six? Very tight, very tight. Okay,

(01:58:56):
all right, you'll you'll regret it next week. What. I
have a winning record. But it's time to go your
own way here on. This is why you don't drink
and dry. D r Y a college student in the UK.
She needed to be rescued by a local fire brigade
if they're getting her legs stuck inside the closed dryer
she shares with her roommates. Rosie Cole, she's twenty one,

(01:59:17):
says she and her friends were drinking wine and tequila
on Tuesday night this week when she was challenged to
fit inside the shared appliance. It's unbelievable, she says. I
was with my other housemates and one of them dared
me to get in. How do you like that? She
climbed and lets first, and she managed to shimmy her
hips in before she realized she was unable to uncross

(01:59:37):
her legs inside the dryer, and her roommates couldn't get
her out of there. They got they called the local
fire brigade and they were able to get her out
of the situation. How do you like that? All right?
I gotta go quick here, all right? To Oklahoma prison
guards and they're supervisor. They were charged with cruelty to
prisoner offenses. What did they do? They played the song
Baby Shark on a loop for two hours, torturing the

(02:00:02):
inmates over there. What are you doing? It's considered psychological
tortured to play anything on repeat like that. Uh, And
they chose Baby Shark of fall things. Now, I take
it to Philly real fast. Three men blew up an
a T M in a Chinese takeout restaurant. They blew
it up. The problem was they didn't get the cash
inside the cash box too. Fled on foot, one on bicycle.

(02:00:24):
They didn't get any cash. What's the point of blowing
something up if you don't get the cash? Time is
a thank you for USC next week. Thank you Ralph
Vermin for joining us. Have a great day on Fox.
