Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening Fox Sports, Great Eiggs, welcome in, ready for
a full slate of fun. Week six of your National
Football League. I will give you my thirty second rant
of I was ticked. I didn't have a Thursday night
football game. There. I gotta call it what it was.
I have just become a creature of had it. I

(00:22):
love my Thursday football. Looked for it, looking around. I
found a college game. I found Arkansas State. It's not
the same, right, I need some love, I need some
pageantry in these crazy times. That was become a certainty
for four weeks. I had Thursday football, and well, let's
face it, COVID has touched everything. And now we get

(00:42):
back into the games. As Isaac just talked about Jacksonville,
a lot going on with the practice squad, but clear
on the active rosters. So we'll be ready to go.
My garment alongside the all American LaVar Arrington, Good morning.
What's going on in Oh? Not too much? Just figured
out bring like good strong radio morning voice. Yeah, I

(01:03):
gotta bring that unlimited power as we get things. Sometimes
I like sounding like a normal civilian, but sometimes I
like coming and cracking the mic like somebody would do,
like like, how our guy Don does it right? Could
you imagine what Don would sound like if he was
on the air right now, my man, let me tell
you there you go that Dodgers have forced the seventh
game in the National League Championship Series. It's good for

(01:27):
us at A M five seventy l A sports. You
are an amazing man, Mike Harmon. Let me tell you
something about how much I love you. That's it. That's positivity.
And you know I love all you out there. That's it.
We we're bringing a lot of so does LaVar ha
ha ha. It's Sunday, people. And how about yesterday's slate

(01:48):
of college games. West Virginia was an amazing game. Clemson
their freaking studs to stay finally finding a way. And
how about Cam McDonald the Titan who caught the touchdown pass.
One of those is a long beach Polly alum that
I had the honor and privilege of of mentoring and

(02:08):
coaching at one point in his career. It was a
great day of football. I mean that that Georgia Alabama game.
I mean, is Alabama for real? Or what it gives
everybody their excitement? Of course football? College football really starts
next week. Let's call it what it is. How about
this one with the Big ten coming back into play
high school football on television is becoming such an amazing deal.

(02:34):
And to see young Archie Manning television, Yeah, looking like
a young Peyton Manning. They run, he runs better than
he's got. He's got mobility and he keeps the body
down like he's got He's got everything working there. So

(02:57):
that's gonna be uh the next man name Archie Manning reincarnated,
but better it's your name, Like like Archie is the beginning.
Then you have e line and then you have well
Peyton and then didn't Well even the dad was was good.
She was. Archie was a good football players that I
think gets lost in the fact that he was in

(03:18):
a cess pool that was a terrible New Orleans franchise
in the football world, Archie Manning is a is football royalty,
these football royalty. Not to mention he pulled off the
power play that Eli gets no limited power, my son,
that the number one overall pick. But still go to

(03:40):
the team that want he wanted to go to. That
is damn right. Everybody that is right. Well, maybe Trevor
Lawrence will try if he doesn't want to go to
the Jets. Huh. We got several weeks to talk about
on that one, because waddle name. There you go. That
dude is a freak mutant mammal. Nicely done. Yeah, we'll

(04:03):
put that on a shirt. Okay, freak mutant mammal. I'm
a freak mutant mammal. Mammal mammal. He is jacked up
this morning. He's already got the musical LaVar going on
here at five after the King of the Mammals on
Instagram at LaVar Arrington on Twitter, find me over at

(04:24):
Swollen Dome. We're coming to you alive from the Geico
Fox Sports Radio Studios. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen
percent or more on your car insurance with Geico dot
com and get off a free rate quote. Now here's
the here's the question I got for you coming out
of week five, and I thought long and hard on
this of you know, there's poll questions everywhere here here
might be the best. Which is the more embarrassing way

(04:45):
to be taken down? Being ragged allD like Derrick Henry
did to Josh Norman. Was that rag doll? But go ahead? Well,
but just man, he just got disappeared. That was more
of an assassination assault. But but but the idea just
being you know you you were not existent, right, You
are a guy that has been a pro bowler, You've

(05:06):
been one of the tops at your position in the past,
and you just got thrown away like a day bread right, Okay.
And the other going back to Thursday Night football that
started the week that we all remember because we're gonna
talk about, um, well, the principles of that game in
a moment when Khalil matt w w et hip top

(05:27):
hip cost Tristan war worse, which is worse, not not
even close. Derrick Henry stiff arm is arguably will become
more recognizable in the history of the game than Earl
Campbell running up the dude's chest. You know, they produced

(05:52):
a trading card of it already, including autograph versions just
like that, and it sold thousands of copies in a
matter of minute. It is. It will go down as
one of the most historical acts of disrespect in the
national it's all of sport. Because I'm thinking of three
running back plays, right, so we we take the Derrick
Henry you mentioned Earl Campbell, and then there's a famous

(06:15):
Walter Payton where he's straight out of Mutual of Omahaws,
you know, Wild Kingdom where he looks like he's a
buck and three times and I just keep talking about.
But there's only one other, honestly, that you can throw
in the conversation, and it's when Bo Jackson was credited with,
which in reality it wasn't as bad as people make it.

(06:39):
If you had that overhead camera that you have now,
that would totally debunked the whole thing. But him trucking
Brian Bosworth to score in the league was one of
those deals where it was like the utter disrespect. All right,
I'll give you one more. I'll give you one more.
I am a true fan of the game. Well there

(07:00):
might be two more. Gosh, darn it if we want
to pull college. When the bus ran over your boy
Brian Urlacker to score that touchdown, and the way he
folded that man up neatly and and put him back
in the trunk of the car and they left the beach,

(07:22):
that was one of the most disrespectful plays in all
of football history. And I'll tell you the other one
was when Steve Atwater hit the Nigerian Nightmare. We all
know his name out of Christian Nicoya, Christian off the
gate today, koik and they talked about it. It was

(07:45):
talked about, and then the game happened and Steve Atwater
came down and knocked the soul. He knocked the football
spirit out of Christian Nicoya on that play man. Some
would say that when Ray Lewis hit Eddie George in

(08:07):
the Divisional round of the playoffs, what rank up there
as well? Man, it didn't take away from Eddie George's
thespian He's going on, you had better learned to act.
And once you get your football spirit knock you know, well,
you also went and graduated from a Northwestern graduate. I'm
claiming him now. And that's a T shirt. Don't get

(08:31):
your football spirit knocked out of you? All right, football
soul shirt next. All right, with that in mind, let's
get into the games of the week. This is a
big one right off to jump because I have a
question concerning one of these teams. Let's get let's go
him out, let's go all day, let's get after we

(08:51):
got You're gonna keep track. Last week we picked very
well against the number. I think you had two losses.
I had four. It's only twenty wetty miles on the
treadmill for me in these my ass challenge, I'm working
at it. Green Bay at one point favorite on the
road against Tampa Bay fifty five is you're over under. Now.

(09:12):
We remember the last time Tampa Bay was out there,
Tom Brady was calling for help from the four horsemen.
I forgot the downs. But my question relates to the
Green Bay Packers. Alright, all of the superlatives that we've
thrown out, the Rose Pedals and the Dennis Green, you
want to crown them, crown them. To this point in
the season, we look at that schedule, they've been bummed slayers.

(09:34):
You can only beat who's on the schedule. But for
all the glory talk, and obviously they've taken care of
the ball because they've got zero turnovers at this point.
That's the I mean, obviously that's the biggest statistic when
it comes to wins and losses. If you haven't heard
it historically, you're starting to get into the territory when
it comes to finishing the job. But how good are

(09:56):
they really they are? How good are they really really good?
Let me tell you something. Devant is coming back Davante
Adams is coming back today to play. They've been dangerous
and they've been really really good without him. Four different
high receivers for Aaron Rodgers thus far Adams in Game one,

(10:20):
Jones and games Aaron Jones has emerged. As he showed
glimpses of what we thought he was going to be.
You gotta show that you can do it more once
they know you're coming, and he has been even better.
I love his game. He's my favorite running back in
the NFL. He's the guy that I wish if I
could have put bets on futures like two years ago,

(10:41):
just pointing out how good that guy was. Then they
needed unleashed. Thought he was a little lightweight, but he's
shown that he can run in between the tackles, he
can get outside, he can catch the ball. He's multidimensional.
I love watching him play. They are as good as advertised,
all right. So conversely, Tampa Bay Godwin expected to give
it a shot. Are uh, Scotty Miller expected to be

(11:02):
back in some capacity. Leonard for Nett to some degree.
So getting healthy ten days of national embarrassment and the
talk of washed once again, I'm on the side of
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking care of business at home,
cleaning up some of those mistakes. And they've had ten
ten days of the offensive line being berated and belittled

(11:23):
and Tom Brady playing for pride. He and Bruce arians
cook up something special out in Tampa. Yeah, I'm gonna
have to put you on the lost list on that one.
My friend Bay Bay is gonna throttle them throttle. Wow,
that is that is a big point. There you go.

(11:46):
All right, we're on opposite sides already. We've got all
the games for today. We got the Mammals of the week,
we got our Ninja plays. Remember, I'll stick around after
the show. Get through your fantasy sits and starts. We'll
try to do them in the show as well. On
Twitter at swollen Dome to get you through. But excited
for a full slate. As you can tell, the energy

(12:06):
ramped up. We're at mid season and the train keeps
rolling by LaVar the Mammals on Instagram's got going Warrior
woke dot Com at LaVar Arrington on Twitter. Speaks for
yourself during the week for me hanging out with Smith
seven to eleven Pacific time every night. The I want
your flex it up with Dan Buyer. You can get

(12:30):
the podcast Apple Podcast or wherever you get your audio.
And of course here every Sunday, LaVar and I having
some fun with you. You're listening to Fox Sports. Hey,
welcome back. It's Fox Football Sunday, Mike Carmen alongside the
All American kicking the mammals. It's LaVar Arrington. We picked

(12:54):
one game. We're already on opposite sides, so you know, look,
let the battle lines be draw on. As we go
Week six of the National Football League season, Isaac's got
you with all of the updates from the injury reports,
and at this point in the season, as you would expect,
they are quite lengthy and seem to get longer by
the day as we roll through. So we'll keep an

(13:15):
eye on on those reports as we go. But the
big big thing is across the league, no new positive tests, right,
We've got some practice squads and things that have to
be monitored, but overall, the league finding its way and
as we saw on Tuesday night, Yes, we had Tuesday
Night football. It seems like a year ago at this point.

(13:37):
We watched Tennessee run all over Buffalo in that game.
Tennessee and look, I've seen the arguments all over the
place of trying to determine, you know, should there be punishment,
should there be this that the other. It's like you
line up at play games, you want to fight about
it the Players Association and the league. You guys want
to if that's where you want to put your energies

(14:00):
an effort I would save for the Players Association. You
make sure you're taking care of in this respect. But
as far as getting the games in, that's also guaranteeing
your checks. That's guaranteeing game tape you get to put
to keep your job going forward. So there's a good
and the bad and all of it. Uh, And there's
also a lot of big other fights for the Players Association,

(14:21):
every cb A to make sure they don't get distracted
by Well, the show has to go on. I mean
there's an election going on. Saw the president, I don't
know anything about that. President still showed up and performed
and that's it. Yeah, you know, he didn't get I
mean he was on the injured reserve for like, you know,
a day or two. Yeah, he took it took what

(14:41):
two three days? But even then he got on video
still still and the show still goes on, and and
it goes on here at Fox Sports Radio, at LaVar
Arrington on Twitter at King of the Man. That wasn't
an endorsement. I'm not like, I'm not in the whole
political We're not endorsing. If the leader of the free world,
which that's what he still is for now, if he

(15:04):
can keep he can still go to work and before um,
let's just keep it all in perspective, find away, we
find our wins, We find a way. You've got other
things to say. You can take that to your Instagram
waiter as you need to. Where about Let's go all
that row at Steelers. I'm sure a few people got

(15:27):
their curses in as they needed to, all right, going
into this this one, Pittsburgh three or three and a
half point favorites and they upstart Cleveland Browns looking to
make some noise. Today, we go through the injury reports.
Still got some injuries in that Cleveland secondary Odell Beckham Jr.
Who was he was ill during the week but tested

(15:50):
negative for COVID Mayfield chest injury, and Landry Bibbs and
hip Olivier Vernon with a groin injury. You got injuries
all around for the Steelers. Two players in excuses if
you ask me, Well, and that's what we're gonna get
to here in a second. The Steelers Deonte Johnson out
with a back injury and David the castro. They did

(16:11):
say that Miles Garrett's helmet will be in action today,
though it will be ready and jacked up and no injuries.
And that's really where we get to, right, They've forced
twelve turnovers thus far. Interception, I'll just leave i'b just
drifting right past it. My man, my mam, you got it.
You gotta stay between the rails. Oh that was between

(16:32):
the rails. Pittsburgh comes off his head. It might go, well,
there is that. I mean, now we're talking rock'em, sock
'em robots and on all of those things. Well, technically
it so I used to play. We got it. We
got one right in there rocking the Rudolph's helmet. No,
that's right, digress, But but there look there's the rockham

(16:53):
socker robots in there. Get that upper cut and make
that neck pop. Good god man, you were just stin
a mood silliness rolling around here. All right. So Pittsburgh
three three and a half. The question again for the
Cleveland Browns, like I asked with Green Bay, they seem
like they've turned the corner. They're a good team. How

(17:15):
great are they because Pittsburgh the other side, I've heard
the argument. See people want to prop up Green Bay
and what they've done thus far, but they want to
denigrate what Pittsburgh has done. So if we want to
talk about schedules, strength of schedule, not exactly one that
you put in the corner of either of these teams.
To this point in the season, Big Band is back,
Clay Chase Claypool had his big coming out, was fantastic.

(17:38):
First you have the run and then you've got three
passes uh caught for touchdowns. We know Washington, you've got
Juju Smith Schuster who's had a quiet start. Connor has
been healthy but not explosive in the run game. They've
been efficient and effective. And this is a traditional power
and their defense is as Pittsburgh esque as a has,

(18:00):
you know, as it has been historically speaking. So you know,
you're looking at you know, nicks and bumps and bruises.
Everybody has knicks, bumps and bruises. But when it's like
kind of overly pronounced the way that it is almost
like I said, I almost feel like all seriousness that
you're like putting that out there that you know, this

(18:20):
traditional power that you have to beat to show that
you know the the loss in the first game wasn't
such a you know, a a flukey deal, you know,
or or an expected deal so to speak. Uh, and
the rest of your wins are flukey? Is that? Guess
what I wanted to say. Listen, I don't see them
beating a traditional power. It's always been a two team

(18:42):
race in the a f C North. I think it
continues to be that, and I think you will see today, Um,
there will be some heated exchanges. This will be a
a really really interesting game to watch because everything that
has happened over the last year or so, um adds
a little bit of sure and a little bit of
uh you know. But but come on, the Steelers will

(19:06):
cover that line and they wouldn't. This game, I think
they blow them out. If we're just being blunt about it,
I think they saw them right. The defense to this
point is played to the level of competition. Look at
against Driscoll and Denver a couple of weeks ago. They
were ahead comfortably the quarterback comes in, You're switching up

(19:28):
your coverages, whatever else. And now you get to go
against a team that's suddenly getting all these accolades. Yeah,
I think it's a long game year so far. If
you ask me there, you haven't all those Alex Smith fans.
You still got some games. Wow, that's the bottom line.
He showing up his start. You gotta keep keep moving,

(19:50):
all right. Next, what it out? Let's go all Days
and Panthers. All right, here's one that I think is
one of the divisive games. Right, Bears on the road.
People still wondering what the Bears are Carolina as we
we go into this one. There one point favorites forty

(20:10):
four and a half is your over under total. We
look at Nick Foles, Jimmy Graham is established. The Bears
running game is still a mess. But you're talking about
a top ten defense. We watched them harass Tom Brady repeatedly,
and some of that you owe to the Tampa Bay
offensive line and still trying to get those five guys together.

(20:30):
But that front seven of Chicago went healthy and right.
Khalil Max showing some signs of team Khalil Mack as
opposed to the guy last year that teams were able
to evade for much of the campaign, So a little
of that comes back. You got Robinson, you got Jimmy Graham.
As I said, finding that third weapon still a question

(20:52):
more of core, Darrell Patterson, whatever else you're doing for
Carolina plus three in the turnover differential those as far
has been huge and Mike Davis has been a godsend
in the absence of Christian McCaffrey for a Bear performing
very well. But this is one where I think the
Bear's defense for Teddy Bridgewater becomes a much more difficult proposition.

(21:13):
They're continuing to improve though in Carolina and you're seeing that, uh,
you're seeing that continuity come together. You're you're seeing that
belief come together as as they move forward. I love
the attitude rules got to play. That's that's the one
thing you can't take. I'm always pulling for them, and

(21:33):
I'm but I'm also always realistic as well. Um, what's
the what's the line on Carolina minus one? Yeah, giving
you the narrowest of margins here, might as well just
pick them. Yeah, you know what's going with the Panthers? Man?
There you go, all right, we'll disagree. I am curious

(21:56):
to see if if Bridgewater is willing to stretch the
stretch the field. Bears in coverage can be beaten, right,
they can be exploited. So we'll see if that becomes
the go to. If it's a steady diet of Mike Davis,
would be a long day for them if they get
it today over the Bears. Yeah, and for the Bears
every week right now, there's just a big question market.

(22:17):
What are It also brings back the question of the
quarterbacks position. If the Bears don't go in and get
this because they want about to narrow us some margins
against against Tampa Bay. As John Calipari taught us so
eloquently a few years ago, succeed and proceed style points
mean nothing in the national spoken well, but in general,

(22:39):
as long as you definitely applied that logic to the beers,
to their body, to their favorite Mike. Wow, you're just
calling me out here. That's all right, though, affiliate states
why you're going to go and do your professionalism, But
godly you went fanboy just then? You know what John
Kyle Perry says, Well, I'm just saying one point when

(23:02):
he was just happy that they beat point. He was
happy they beat him. Truth. I'm glad they got that.
Great and you love the fact that Khalil Mack showed
the dominance of what the monsters amid way representation. Yeah. Look,
I looked at your face. I can see it in
your eyes. I'm a linebacker. It is no fear as
I'm not apologize. All got to apologize. I mean, tell

(23:25):
the Steelers the win. I'm a Steelers face, but I
don't says I'd say Stillers, Stillers. You know why I
was born and raised there man, there, you got the
Steelers football in my crib, like in the in the
in the hospital. Man speaking into existing spank man said
he will be a Steeler. Our ball on you? Alright,

(23:46):
Lavarcy Mike Harmon here at Fox Football Sunday. We'll continue
with the games. We're talking Broncos Patriots. You know that
game we waited for last weekend game. That's next. But
first we got Isaac Loan cron He's got what's trending?
What's the aps in world? Hello, Michael, Hello, LaVar. We'll
start with the Jacksonville Jaguars. They announced that they have

(24:06):
had no new positive COVID test since yesterday, all members
of their active roster good to go for their home
game today against the Lines. Multiple Atlats reporting there have
been no new positive tests across the entire league, meaning
all games today are on as of now. Along those lines,
NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy moments ago channeling

(24:27):
you too, tweeting it's a beautiful day. Don't let it
get away. The Tampa Bay Rays go into the World
Series Saturday night. They beat the Astros four to two.
In Game seven of the ALCS, Rookie Randy Rossa reina
to run home run of the first ending his seventh
home run of the playoffs on his way to a
l C S m v P honors. Mike Zanino added

(24:47):
a home run of the second ending, which we will
relive right now. With a twist, here is raised Spanish
radio announcer et Ricardo Taveris with a call on w
mg G. Why don't like about so? Do you know

(25:22):
that roughly translates to open the door for me because
I'm going goodbye? Why couldn't Scully have tried that when
he was before he retired. You leave the Cerulean Blue
Skies alone. That's Cerulean Blue sky was totally lost on
the references. Y'all just pulled out just now. But I'm
gonna act like I knew. Oh that was funny. Guys

(25:46):
totally left out, but I'm sorry. I'll wrap you in
a big virtual hug here the guy studios. You know what,
I've been doing that for years. It works, Fake it
till you make it baby. Earlier Saturday, The Dive, speaking
of Cerulean Blue, the Dot is forced to Game seven
and the National League Championship Series with a three one
win over the Braves. Game seven of the National League
Championship Series between the Dodgers and Braves tonight at eight

(26:09):
fifteen Eastern. Now. No word yet on whether a raised
Dodgers or Raise Braves World Series matchup will garner higher
television ratings, but this morning multiple Fox Sports TV executives
have been spotted entering churches. Interesting tibbit there. College football
Saturday at number two Alabama what a third ranked Georgia
forty one to twenty three. Matt Jones four touchdown passes,

(26:32):
two of them to Davonte Smith, who caught eleven for
one sixty seven. Nagi Harris ran for one two and
Florida State upset fifth rank North Carolina thirty one to eight. Now,
before I go back outside to look at the cerulean
blue sky, I'll go back to Michael and LaVar. Thank
you so much at Isaac Low where you find him
on Twitter. Our buddies, Chris Perfett on the ones and twos,

(26:55):
and Vince Closed our executive making a sound oh so
pretty this morning. As we roll through all the games
of this NFL slate from the Geico Studios fifteen minutes,
you can save you more on your car insurance. You
can go to Geico dot com or you call seven Auto.
The only hard part is figuring out which way is easier.
Next game, were them out, let's go all day? Patriots alright,

(27:21):
New England eight point favorites in this one forty five.
You're over under Drew Locke expected to go. Belvin Gordon
questionable tag he had himself a week. The d U
y U League penalty may come, not coming from the
team though, as we go, Noah Fant is a fifty
fifty at last count, So fantasy owners be where they're

(27:45):
kJ Hamdler out with the hamstring. As for the Patriots,
check Mason is out. Otherwise pretty healthy squad as we
get ready four weeks six h Cam Newton back and
ready to go. Um. I don't know how much of
now this is required here. Denver is not a very
good team, not able to bring the thunder as they

(28:06):
once did. Yeah, yeah, I'm going with the Pats here,
but I do not think that they will cover. I
would take the under on that one. Yeah, I'll take
the New England, but I will take Denver plus the point.
So I think if if locks out there, they're winging
around to some degree of success. You got a little
bit of Philip Lindsay in the backfield to find some love,
maybe a couple of throws out to the flat to

(28:29):
make a player too. And obviously Judy has been a
pretty good fine for them. He's acclimated quite well. Can
I ask a random question ahead? But we got Wow
Kingdom Show on on the TV. Yeah, it's kind of
like I was just thinking about, like the Broncos and
the Pats, which you know, Pats that's a obviously a person,

(28:50):
and then Broncos, you know that's a horse. But why
we never heard of a team being called the Babooms? Well,
they are tough. Did you know that Baboons had the
largest Did you know this guy's Chris Vince? They had
the largest k nines in the entire animal kingdom? Were

(29:14):
you aware of this? I was not there you go.
I thought you were gonna go another direction with that.
Oh jeez, that's a great that's a great one liner.
That is a great, tremendous suggestive and it just stay
gets you out there. They're tough, not explicit Sunday Morning Radio.
Their their agile, you know, almost like almost like why

(29:38):
are there no teams called the Guerrillas? Like do you
think that there would be too many like implications? I think, well,
but so correct, that's the thing. Fifty or sixty years ago,
there wouldn't have been so I mean, so we could
have we could have a team called the Indians or
the red Skins did with might league team? Really, is

(30:02):
there a Guerrillas out there? Yeah? I believe. What is it?
Pittsburgh State? I think that's one uh f FCS school.
Does that b U r G no leave off the
age for something? Leave off the age? Yeah? In Kansas.
I mean it just seems interesting to me, like we
stay in very very it is it's Pittsburgh State guerrillas.

(30:23):
Good job, good pulled by Chris Professor. I mean, is
that is that something that is hard to understand? Why
is there no NFL team that has the baboons of
such and such? You know what, I think that's a
letter writing campaign. You and I can gorillas of such
and such like the silver Backs. That's a gorilla. When

(30:45):
the silver Back gorilla defeat most of the most of
the mascots that teams have in the National Football League,
there's no question about it. Okay, I think that's something
to look It was a random and then I thought
works since we're you know, talking about Denver and the Patriots. Yeah,
that got deep. I just like shift the attention to

(31:07):
something more random and relevant and more entertaining. Yeah, I
get you? All right, easy enough? All right, let's do
one more quick? Sorry, what about let's go all That
might have been a reason why I brought that up.
I think you were looking at your sheets. I want
to talk about that game. I'll put some interest in
between this this crappy sandwich the bread Indianapolis seven and

(31:32):
a half point favorite six over what Joe Burrow is
fun to talk to. Choose your fantasy game. Not not
yet that shows you how bad the Spots do. We
haven't even hit bottom yet. Uh. Look, and we we
know with Joe Burrow under durest with great regularity, Te
Higgins emerging as a favorite weapon. We know Joe Mixon

(31:54):
went right, is a good running back. But overall this
team is bad. Indianapolis. We we're looking at the injury
report making sure, all right, Darius Leonard is still out.
How much does that matter against the Cincinnati Bengals. It matters? Okay,
I just wanted to make sure because Cults are are
have been good, but not this year. They've They've shown spots,

(32:20):
bright spots in moments. What's what's the seven and a
half that hook gets you? There's no question about it.
Moli Cox would not be available for this one. We
still got Costanzo is what's the Cults record? This is
a trap game for them? Well, it's I think the
Bengals get this one. Man, You'll get you. You're gonna

(32:41):
go out right with the upset. Uh, Philip Rivers under
fire a lot after last week. So that's certainly one
thing we have to pay attention to. Is the quarterback position.
J Kobe percent waiting in the wings. If things should
truly go awry, but you'll get out of team that's
three and two losses. Go back to the opener against

(33:02):
Jacksonville and then a loss to Cleveland. Dominant wins over Minnesota,
the Jets and the Bears. Bears was only a nineteen
eleven win, but that score than the Bengals. But I
just think this is a trap game for them. Okay,
I'm going with the bank, So he's gonna take the
Bengals out right, I'll take Indie, but I will take

(33:23):
Cincinnati and those beautiful seven and a half points mortgage.
We'll choose our own adventures. Coming up, Nats, don't listening
to Fox Sports Radio. That is what you call a
call back in the radio business, Ladies and gentlemen. Chris Perfett,
the consummate professional. We'll hear from him next hour when

(33:45):
we talk Lions football. Yeah, that's right, we're gonna talk Lions.
I'm about to say, are It may not be a prolonged,
drawn out and now, yeah, it'll be. It'll be brief,
but we'll get uncomfortable when we get into the topic
of the Detroit Lions consistent. All right, we'll do that
again coming up in a moment. But first it's time

(34:07):
to choose our own adventure. Let's go down that rabbit hole.
Let's do it. What about let's go all day Jets Dolphins.
All right, here we go. This is the game of
the day for somebody. I'm like saying it's for me.
But Miami, a nine point favorite is your over under.

(34:27):
As we look at the injury report, there is no
Sam Donald, there is no Mackay Beckton, two guys that
they screwed up with football mal practice plitting Sam back
in the game after what we all believe was a
collar bone injury. I'm taking the Dolphins even minus the nine.
They're gonna beat the nine. You don't like Joe Flacco,

(34:48):
He's no longer elite for you. I'm just giving you
what I got. You want to make some money. Listen
to your boy. You just cut to the chase, right
through it. Ryan Fitzpatrick, when does he have the Ryan
Fitzpatrick game? That's the that's the only question in all this.
See Ryan Fitzpatrick will have those games against teams like
the Jets. But that's that's my fear, is that there's

(35:10):
something to be had for that. He's thrown five interceptions.
They've crowd five over the course the year, creating seven turnovers.
Flacco's got something, James crowd taking the Jets. I'm gonna
take it with the points. I don't think they win
out or I don't think they win now. So when

(35:30):
you do that, what should I write down? Like, at
least pick who's going to win, even though you're not
picking who's got the So it's I write it in
my comment. So we keep our logs so we can
mock each other during the week. So I've got my
straight up and then my against the springt okay, alright,
so teams slash teams, so Miami Miami, okay. And then
against the spread, I'll take the night points and hold

(35:54):
it against you on the on the spread, that's where
I hold it against. Well, I want to know you're well,
you're an expert. No, no, no, I just want to know.
My point is trying to show how difficult it is
to consistently pick against the spread. So anybody that's on
here wearing T shirts or touting, you know, their their
five star Golden bootlots. Just to remember, Hey, this is

(36:16):
a very difficult proposition because most games are decided by
one possession, which means one play can be your doom. Anyway,
those picks made nets wear them out. Let's go all
day Falcons that king. Oh, here we go. It's the
super Bowl for Raheem Morris and the Atlanta Falcons. Plus four.

(36:40):
That's right, my Minnesota four point home favorite. The over
under in this one. Fifty four glorious points. One of
several games in the mid fifties. As we go this week,
we know a lot of points being scored across the
National Football League. What we thought or I thought might
become the trend of all right, we gave you the

(37:00):
first quarter of the season. Now let's start getting those
uh penalties back up after the Bears box that didn't
come Vikings minus four, minus four, Yeah, I'm picking the
Vikings in this one. I felt like looking at this game,
I originally looked at it as a true trap game
for Minnesota. You know, we saw what happened with the

(37:21):
Texans when they put Romeo as the head coach. I
feel like you will see much of the same out
of the Falcons. But I don't think that they're in
good enough condition right now to kind of bounce back
and and get on track just yet. So I'm going
with the Vikes, all right. McKinley, Hawkins, and Kaminsky out
for the Falcons. Of course, fantasy owner is well aware

(37:43):
that Dalvin Cook is out with the roying injury, which
means more of Alexander Madison. I don't know I was
gonna run more Hamilton's. I was about to say, are
you going Hamilton's on me? I was good, Well, I
mean I started that last year. It's become a popul
or meme for folks. Glad to have been among the

(38:04):
first to do that. For you. Uh, he had a
hundred thirty six total yards last week. He'll be very
active in the ground and in the air attack for
Kirk Cousins and company, it's really just a question of
how much do you believe in kirk Cousins rising up.
It's a bad defense. I mean both are terrible. Minnesota
hurt haven't been able to make big plays. I am

(38:25):
actually going to take the Raheem Morris lead team. They're
getting better running attack from from Todd Gurley these last
two games, So I will take Atlanta to win this
one outright. For that short lived burst of which you spoke,
is there such thing as an albino elephant. It's a
good question. I thought that was more interesting. Yes, there is.

(38:49):
I would love to see that may be more interesting
than that team was correct and that game growing up
was correct. Mike the random Random tangents on Fox Sports Radio.

All American LaVar Arrington readying next Saturday Big ten football returns.
White jacked up about it seeing all the updates from Evanston,
from State College and across Big ten country because it
just seems incomplete when I see the rundown of games

(39:32):
on a Saturday. Right now, I just keep looking for it.
We've been talking a lot about differing, uh mascots. Yeah,
Penn State got it right. Mountain Nitney If you didn't
know this, Mountain Nitney is a mountain range and state
college Pennsylvania where the Penn State Nitney get it Nitney Mountains,

(39:55):
Mountain Nitney Lions reside and we are known for having
Mountain Lions and Mountain Hitney. And that's one to grow on.
We are pens and across nations. Many people were just

(40:18):
awakened by that trigger that that happens. It's an instinctual thing.
You Yeah, we are maybe woke up their kids. You
know what's crazy. Some people say at USC too, it's weird.
I don't like it. And then there's like always the
debate who did it first? We had the better story
depending on where you come from. I don't care who

(40:39):
said it first. Ours is better. Our story is better.
Now we're getting into origin stories pretty pretty, pretty soon.
It's gonna be a whole thing, Like you're a comic book.
Here shots out the Wally triplet. Look them up, like
any guy named Wally. I mean, you had a Wally Richardson.
I like anybody who has the last name Triplet. That's
good too, they say Larry and circles. Real men create twins.

(41:03):
But what if you were a triplet? And and you know,
but who becomes the evil one? Right? There's always the
movie and movies and television. It's a good question. I
don't think so. I think it would be a better
story if they were. Yeah, I think you're absolutely right.
I think Caine was actually older than Abel Well, and

(41:25):
then he had Kine and the Undertaker and all the subplots,
and old Kane killed Abel. So it was it was
it was Kane that was younger than Able because Abel
was getting the birthright and Caine killed him and then
put the hair on him, the fur on him because
his dad couldn't see or something like that, and he
touched on him and felt it, but he knew it

(41:46):
wasn't his son. Something like that. I don't know. My
recollection maybe a little off. All right, we got came back.
Come on, man, let's get back to the guard. No.
I was just more saying we got to go back
to our scriptures. I think to fill out the rest
of that, he'll be in the pall bit all week long, man,
exactly at LaVar Arrington on Twitter, at the Instagram. That's right,

(42:08):
evangelizing the goodness, the greatness of your day. Get out there,
uh and make the best of it. All good things
uh still to come. I mean, the world is full
of mystery. Kane definitely took Able out. Maybe Kane is older,
but I think Kane definitely took Able out. Okay, I'm sorry,
it's over, Yes, sir, come oncoming alive from the I

(42:51):
Might you're dragging this out. I'm just trying to segue
away from the Leeps, trying to make that my fun.
You trying to make me a fault, which in this game,
I don't know. We could probably make that a bit

(43:11):
we do, it'll show up on a show tomorrow, I
guarantee you. All Right, we look at the Bills coming
off and be humiliating, absolutely humiliating. This will be on
Monday night game Buffalo Home but getting five points. As
we look at the Chiefs because well they got beat
up a bit by the Las Vegas Raider fifty seven

(43:31):
and a half year over under, so points expected Patrick
Mahomes and company. We watched what Derek Carr was able
to do unleashing the deep ball with Henry Ruggs. Maybe
a change in that offense. We'll get into them in
a little bit, but when we look at the Chiefs,
the big news this week is they bring in Levy
Unbelt won't be available this week, but he's coming to

(43:53):
pair up with Clyde Edwards Hilaire and ostensibly ostensibly to
clean up some of the goal line work. The one
thing with but the one thing with him is he's
not a patient runner. To me, I don't know. Watching
the first thing he's been. He's effective there. There's just
that one little change in the game, like, let that

(44:13):
offensive line is really good a little more is especially
around the goal line. I think it's like, let's let
them make something happen. And Lady I Bell as a receiver,
as a runner may not be the same guy, but
but he's out of New York. So that's win number one.
He's the same guy, and you're probably going to see

(44:35):
him re emerge um under that b enemy and and
Andy Reid offense. But hey, listen here, I don't see
them losing two games in a row, not this season.
So just about pure you know, common sense of what
this team, conventional wisdom of what this team brings to
the table. We could break down analysis and stats and

(44:56):
all those different things. I just don't see the Chiefs
losing too gay in a row, especially after an embarrassing
loss too. I don't see it, you know, And then
that's the point of that. That loss was embarrassing. They
got played un characteristically sloppy football, and folks wondered, it
is that the Blue Prins. Well, no, you made a

(45:16):
couple of big plays, and during the course of a
regular season, you're gonna have that. And I wondered aloud,
were they looking ahead to a matchup with Buffalo? But
I don't think they were looking ahead. You can't look
at you can't look over Las Vegas. They they are,
like I said it on the show last week, I
think that they are like a conundrum. I just don't

(45:37):
think we know who are what they are. That's that's
the point though, And sometimes that works against you, and
they caught up to them. It certainly did last week.
I think I caught that a trap game. As a
matter of fact, I didn't pick them. You were talking
about all the sorts of traps last week. You said,
I love saying trap games, but you like, well like yeah,

(45:57):
because in football terms, like those are the ames that
you're supposed to win. But you definitely could see yourself losing.
But maybe you come in a little complacent, maybe your
effectiveness isn't like when I played in Washington. We were
always somebody's trapping. We were always somebody's trap game. You know,
we were never met. It's like an extra while you're

(46:19):
you're still playing, because I could have you walking around
with the shirt we are. We are the trap game
every week. All right, up with you? I take the Chiefs,
Bill said, I think they showed some pride after getting
run over because they got embarrassed by Tennessee. Right, Tennessee
had that practices and they still ran all over them
a week ago. Love with Grabels got going there. But

(46:41):
we'll talk about that team in a little I'll talk
more about something about the Bills later on when we
get to all mammals. But but I still had them
winning though, very good, all right, coming out next, wear
them out, Let's go all day. Cardinals have Cowboys. Cardinals
one point favorite on the road at down was and
and need Dalton fifty five and a half. You're over

(47:04):
under again. You see the theme big totals expected. Uh,
logic would say, you try to get the ground game
going with Dallas, but remember there's a lot of injuries
up front. Ezekiel Elliott hasn't been utilized the same way,
and we could raise our hands and saying was that wise? Right?
You paid him running backs? As we know, the clock

(47:27):
is always ticking, so why not getting like he had
the one effective play at the goal line right where
he truck dude a few weeks ago. Outside of that
pedestrian numbers, not really finding that big push with Andy Dalton,
I don't know how much is lost in the passing
attack when the guys that were healthy and Cincinnati and
Cincinnati they were winners, right, he was a double digit

(47:48):
win guy and then it just became a he and
Marvin Lewis and company couldn't get over in the playoffs.
But you give him all those weapons. Obviously, Michael Gallup
last week came his favorite in that narrow win over
the Giants. But you'll get Cooper will get fed, Dalton
shoal to get fed, and Ceedee Lamb will have his opportunities.

(48:11):
I think they pushed this one around and they put
up some good numbers. And Kyler Murray has been susceptible.
He yeah, he's been careless with the football, and so
I think there's one I'm taking Dallas at home to
win this game, and Andy Dalton getting it done. It's
a good call, but I disagree. All right, give me

(48:34):
your Arizona. It will be the Cards, man, It will
be the Cards that wins this one. And purely from
the simple fact that I just do not believe that
the Dallas Cowboys have figured out a winning strategy in
terms of offensive play calling. Like they have had a

(48:55):
lot of success in terms of UM putting up number stats,
even putting up points UM. But I don't think their
offense complements their defense at all. I think their defense
is struggling, of course, but I think they're struggling like

(49:16):
because their offense is deceptive. They change because they've had
slow starts, right, That has been the I don't think
it changes because Andy Dalton is in. But do you
actually trying to run the football as opposed to the
last Well, they've tried to run the football, they go
away from it pretty fast, just like you know what's

(49:37):
interesting Last year I blamed uh Garrett for them not
trying to stay consistent with the run. Now with Mike McCarthy,
we're starting to see the same exact you know, tendency developed.
There's something not right with Ezekiel elliott I like like,
if there's a problem and you change part of the

(50:00):
problem to try to get a different result, and you're
still getting the same result, something isn't right. So there's
not there's not a healthy amount of belief in Ezekiel
Elliott's ability. Right now, we may have seen the best
of Ezekiel Elliott. I don't doubt that that's true. I
really don't the problem they're doing them No favorite offensive

(50:23):
line is depleted, and who knows that they'll be able
to figure that out this season. I just think that really,
if you all in all look at the overall scheme
and escape of the Dallas Cowboys, they're a mess. They're
just as much a mess as any other team in
the NFC. But you know what we talked about last
if they if they would have lost that game, would

(50:43):
Mike McCarthy had been fired? What became what we talked
about that last Sunday, right that became a talking point.
It has to become one. It has to become a
talking point because if you felt as though you've put
money into certain players and those certain players are considered
to be elite guys, and you're considered to be a quarterback,

(51:07):
whisper which you were feeling as though, as as the
owner of the team, that that was all you were
lacking with somebody who could get your quarterback in the
right direction. And now he's out. So what are you
going to be able to do with Dalton? You brought
him in as a safety valve of of you know,
a safety policy, insurance policy, so to speak. Didn't realize
it was going to be this type of insurance policy.

(51:29):
But nonetheless it becomes that I don't see the play
calling being as impactful and as effective as it needs
to be to complement where this defense, struggling defense is
right now. So I just don't see the Cowboys winning,
and that's can't do it. Can't do it, can't well.
I like that. Hey, coming up next, we'll go to

(51:51):
that man's former team that he was talking about at
the time, because they're wandering trying, not you. I'm saying
that man's singletary who was the coach when he made
that speech of the struggling team looking in the world.
It was a good tease until I had to explain it.
I'm sorry, but it made it better because somebody might

(52:11):
have thought the same way I was thinking. All right, Okay,
He's LaVar Rington all America appreciate it. Coming up a
game that I'm truly intrigued about, trying to figure out identities.
Has it been stolen? And no, it's not an ad
for a company. I'm protecting that. But I've got a
wonder professional pride on the line here in week six.

(52:33):
We'll get into that next year on Fox. Don't listening
to Fox Sports Radio A day of randomness a day,
have some good games, some bad games off air chaos
and have you thought the random number? The randomness on
air was bad? Look, this is me uh yelling hot

(52:55):
route as we go through. What does that mean? That mean?
Oh mah oh maha, help me out? And I don't
even know what that means. Look, here's here's one rant
on this football Sunday, right, and I did this earlier
in the week. I bring it back here on Sunday
morning because well it's germane to what's about to happen
two and a half hours from now? Who the hell's

(53:16):
the charge of scheduling? We're playing pick your board game
of how to Cobble this season together? Right? All right?
You moved to Tuesday, you go to this bye week,
you go here, I got nine early games today and
then I only have two late afternoon games, and one
of those is Jets Miami. That is just wrong. It's

(53:38):
so difficult to try to watch that many games at
the same I can't fit them all on my eight box.
There's one game that gets lost in the morning. But
but why would you do that? That's just stupid. And
then I just think if it's regional, like you generally
are able to have two games on, but based upon
how this is all panning out, you might only get

(54:00):
one game that you can just watch as a normal
game on on regular cable. Look, I'm all for everybody's
sitting down with the family, breaking bread, having a beverage
or four and and watching Tampa Bay and Green Bay
get after it, right, because that's really where we're at, right,
That's that's the game of the day, as it were.
Everybody ready to bury Tom Brady and build a statue

(54:23):
to Aaron Rodgers here with year two of Matt Lafleur,
or maybe those that are still fighting. Hey, old guys
still rule. Uh having their Tom Brady moments perhaps later.
I still just want the cream skills. I'm an easy man.
As it goes but one game that is interesting to
me because I gotta see you know, the gotta go

(54:44):
see the Wizard get some hearts. See, I'm bringing out
all of those old linebackers we talked to Mike Singletary before.
That's a Brian Cox. This one is going to be
interesting to me. Next, what about at forty nine? Are
forty Niners got absolutely buried by my done? This is
an interesting game? But go ahead? Are they just done well?

(55:07):
The Rams are just underrated. They are playing at at
a very very They are first level playing playing at
a high level, like I won't say top top tier,
but they're playing well enough where I don't say their
second tier successful. So given three on the road at

(55:28):
San Francisco again, San Francisco worked a week ago, Jimmy Garoppolo,
that's just a guy and a half. That's the problem though,
But but that's the NFL. As soon as we do
the that's an easy one where things sometimes go a right.
I just don't know that they have enough personnel to
make that happen. This is not a trap game. This
is not the Rams. The Rams will handle the Niners. See,

(55:53):
the Rams have done it, and it hasn't it hasn't
been the Sean mcveighs sexiness, right, I think, or maybe
or maybe it's like, you know, a relationship that's a
little longer, longer in the tooth. Maybe you don't have
to to show up in and all those things. You're
not dressing to the nines. Just go and get to work.
I believe the Rams have gotten back to the comfort

(56:14):
level of how they're calling games. They found a balance
and it's working for them. And you can see that
the confidence is back in golf and their defense. They're
a bunch of a holes. Yeah, I love how their
defense plays. But you got Aaron Donald who takes care
of your front seven, and then you got Ramsey on

(56:35):
the back end who will fight with anybody, sneak up
on you and end up being a team that's in
the super Bowl. Now, they're they're sneaky good Robert Woods
taking care of business Cooper. They're not getting a lot
of love, man, but they need to know. But people
like they're not. They're not the new story right right.
The resurgence of Aaron Rodgers is a bigger story the

(56:55):
potential decline of Drew Brees. I don't think it's a
resurgence of Aaron Rodgers. I think that it's uh, Aaron
Rodgers ain't paying no attention to the fact that they
did what they did in the off season. I think
that's the bigger story, because they were one game away
from being in the Super Bowl, where they got here's
the thing, but one game away. No, I get that.
But the gap between what they were and what the

(57:17):
forty Niners were last year was very large. We saw
that two games. We saw that in two games, not one.
I'll let you, yes, they did, but I'm not gonna
say that that was indicative of what they are in
terms of the gap that was between them. I just
think that for for where both teams were at, one

(57:37):
team had found the stride and was playing at a
very high level. The other one was as well. They
just now, yeah, yeah, they just didn't have it together
with the Niners. But I will say this, in this game,
the forty Niners are in a very very dangerous and
compromising place for their season going into this game. It

(58:00):
could cure a lot of ills if they win this game.
So I look for them to be very poised and
motivated to try and win this game. I just don't
think that they have enough to be able to beat
the talent that that's in uh in l a right now. Yeah,
that's the question. Can desperation get over? I like that.
That was that was pretty fiery. We'll do more of
that coming up next game. What about let's go all

(58:24):
day rad Eagles? Uh, the Eagles are No, I'm not picking.
That was the dramatic pause. What do I want to
say about the is out? Uh? Surprise surprise, Like we

(58:45):
talked about this on the break, I'll put it on air.
I don't we We hear guys throw the term stealing
money around a lot when it comes to players out there,
but I got I gotta throw it out there as
a guy where I I don't know what the incaid
it is to push through pain anymore because it seems
to be all right. I'm shooting for another week and

(59:05):
another week and if it's if it's done, just call
it done. Just call it done like this is every week.
Good look. I I have a question of roster construction
when you're banking on DeShawn Jackson and al Shan Jeffrey
to be your booking wide receivers. At this point, both
have had their moments they're not those guys like al
Shan last year had a good touchdown total and he

(59:26):
was good in the red zone. That was it. Okay,
when we look at this game, Baltimore is giving ten
on the road. Philadelphia played its Super Bowl last week
against the Steelers. They did, they gave it all their
head and they came up short. Pittsburgh still covered the number,

(59:47):
right Pennsylvania, and now we come right back up to
try to get up at well, this is the battle
of like almost like Delaware Valley almost. So we put
that on air, said listen, battle for the Delaware and
listen because the Delaware Valley is New Jersey and Philly, right,
But if you think about it, Baltimore is literally an

(01:00:10):
hour and a half two hour draft from Philly. That's
why I always loved those training camp towards because I
could go there. Yes, these are corridor corridor areas, and
believe you me, the rivalries are very intense, and so
this will be a very hard fot game just because
of the closeness and proximity. Uh, look for the Eagles

(01:00:34):
to give the Ravens a problem um in this game.
But I still think that the Ravens will be too
much for them. Now, let's talk about the Ravens for
a moment, right not running the ball nearly as effectively
as a year ago. We're talking about the split between
Ingram and Dobbins and a little Gusts Edwards, but passing
the football. Lamar Jackson's a bit banged up. His running

(01:00:56):
acumen isn't there right now? Right with the knee and everything. Uh,
and scatter shot a little bit downfield. Andrews was hurt
early in the season. He's back, and you've got Marquise
Hollywood Brown, but still trying to round out what they
are offensively this year. It is not as Ringo Starr said,
it don't come easy like that. Well, you know, I've

(01:01:19):
seen him in concert a couple of times. The legend
the Drummers drummer as it were, But for Baltimore running
out to a big lead. I don't know that that
happens against Philly here. I like the Tombstone Ringo. There
you go out and Tombstone the Cowboys is about to
take an ale to the Marshals, and the Marshals are

(01:01:43):
Marshal Law Ravens. All right, so Ravens win the game?
Are they covering the ten, absolutely calling for the blowout.
I'll take the back door special, so Philly plus the
ten against the spread will continue. We've got a couple
of Choose your own adventures and one more game on
the slate that is really curious to me. But first

(01:02:03):
we're gonna kick it over to Isaac Lowen Gron, who's
got all the news and notes you need to dominate
your Sunday. Hello, Hello, Michael, and LaVar. Multiple outlets reporting
no new positive COVID tests across the entire National Football League,
meaning all twelve of today's schedule of games today are on.
The Tampa Bay Rays go to the World Series after

(01:02:23):
a four to two victory over the Astros in Game
seven of the American League Championship Series Saturday night, is
raised rookie Randy Rosa Raine had a two run home
run in the first inning. It was this seventh home
run of the postseason and names series m v P.
Earlier Saturday, the Dodgers forced a Game seven in the
National League Championship Series with a three one win over
the Atlanta Braves. Game seven tonight at eight fifteen Eastern.

(01:02:47):
In college football on Saturday Night, Number two Alabama, what
a third ranked Georgia forty one to twenty three. Nick
Saban back on the sideline for this one after three
straight days of negative COVID tests. His positive US from
Wednesday therefore considered a false positive. I'm happy as hell indeed.
Mac Jones threw four touchdown passes for the Crimson Tide.

(01:03:08):
Happy as hell. Sure, I'm sure he is. Two of
them to Davante Smith, who caught eleven for one. I'm
happy as hell. Oh wow, all right, we get it.
We get it, coach, we can get it. And wait,
wait for all those out there that are concerned. Did
he have his mask on or off when he said that,

(01:03:29):
let's let's find out. I'm happy as hell. Okay, so
he actually had it off for the first two, but
he put it on for for that one. So he
obviously heard it was following along. So we're appreciative with
him adhering to that around here in the halls of
Fox Sports Radio. Also Saturday Night, thirteen and a half
point underdog North Carolina upset by Florida State, and excuse me,

(01:03:57):
underdog Florida State upset fifth ran in North Carolina thirty
one to twenty eight. As you can see, why I
have never gambled before at never will again. Michael LaVar
back to you. A lot of guys that claimed to
be gambling experts get that wrong. It's okay. I love
at Isaac low and Grown on Twitter. Follow your gut

(01:04:19):
and you gotta follow that dream wherever that dream may
lead you. Aaron Pressley all those years ago, he's LaVar Arrington.
He is the all American. You find him. He's got cano.
So if you want to get a shout out as
his big ten season goes on birthdays and anniversaries, or
or fantasy football bocking that you want to do, find
him on their at King of the Mammals on Instagram,

(01:04:42):
at LaVar Arrington on Twitter, the Warrior Woke dot com,
and of course speak for yourself during the week myself,
We've got I watch your Flex the Fantasy podcast in
about twenty five minutes from now. You can log on
and go download that from the Apple podcast uh and
listen to that all the new as you need. Dan
Buyer and I each and every week, twice a week,

(01:05:03):
that will drop Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings, getting you
ready to dominate. Pillar to post in the fantasy world
at swall One Dome is where you find me on Twitter.
That's where I'll be to do your sits and starts
as you go. Lots more content coming because while we're
just getting warmed up, lav R and I had a
lot of things cooking. We are chefs in the kitchen.

(01:05:23):
There's no well that too figuratively and literally boom And
that's what it's all about. All right, next game, w
about let's go all this tends at tight ends, all right.
So we saw the Tennessee Titans back on they played
the US against the world. We'll wait to see if
details ever come out as to what all transpired to

(01:05:46):
lead to the positive COVID tests and the postponement of games,
all of those things. Uh, But in the here and now,
they went out and they absolutely beat down what was
thought to be a very good Buffalo team. But for
one day they were not. Uh. The Derrick Henry run
is the one that will all see Tennessee three and
a half point favorites at home, some fans in the

(01:06:08):
stadium fifty three. You're over under. Houston got that bump
last week. We're talking about it a little bit right Atlanta,
but here in Houston, Romeo Cornell talk about his age,
talking about whatever else. But they got their bump last week.
Brandon Cooks becomes involved in the offense. Darren Fells also again,

(01:06:30):
Aikins is out, so an opportunity for fantasy owners once
again there but Deshaun Watson and company on the road
at Tennessee. Mike Rabels got that defense churned up. Yeah, listen,
I still think that this Texans team is equipped and
built to be able to have success. I just think

(01:06:50):
that it was a toxic environment and now that toxicity
is now gone. I look for to Texans to continue
to have some success and and win this game against
the Titans. I really do. I think that they'll have
a nice little run. I don't know for how long,
But the way they looked in last week's game, I

(01:07:11):
figured that they would come out and and fight and
look pretty good to kind of protect some of the
things that we've seen in the past out of this team. Uh,
you know, we happened to be correct and seeing that,
so my assessment of what I saw last weekend would
would lead me to believe that with all of the
confusion that the Tennessee Titans have had to deal with,

(01:07:32):
even though they've had some success. I think this is
one of those matchups where the Texans match up well
against the Titans, and if they can contain Chris Henry,
I think that they can. Excuse me, I always love
I always say I think we went the same draft
class or no, that's the receiver. God dang, it's exact. Yeah.

(01:07:53):
So anyway, Uh, if they can contain Derek in the
running running game, I think that they can. They put
themselves in position to win this game. Late, I'm gonna
take the tight like the Texas. I like the Texans myself,
and this one coming off the short week and all
that went into getting that Buffalo game played. Ryan Tannehill
getting some national accolades because you look at his last

(01:08:15):
full season right over the start of go back to
some fantastic play A J. Brown and John hu Smith
obviously fantasy plays and guys that are are starting to
get their names uh in the big bold letters as well.
All right, coming up, we got too quick, choose your
own adventures. Let's get to the first. What about let's

(01:08:39):
go all day Washington and Giants. Giants almost got that upset.
Remember when I said they were gonna fight Dallas and
they did call. They did, but you know, a holding
call that doesn't go on that final drive. That was awful.
But this is awful game. Giants two and a half
point favorites forty three is the line, Kyle Allen and

(01:08:59):
Copany this is like, this is such an ugly game.
It's okay, you can still pick it. It's hard. I
played for both. Ye I liked one more than the
other obviously, um not really. I love the I love
the fans like but anyway, we were talking about organizations.

(01:09:22):
Do that on a podcast is a hard one to call.
Two and a half. I'll take the Giants. You're taking
the Giants, and I'll take him to cover. They win
by a field goal. I think the Washington football team
are going to win. There you go, the Washington football team.
See it's Week six. We're gonna be doing that all year,
by the one. Yeah, that Washington team exactly. You know,

(01:09:48):
if you go set your fantasy lineup, it says football
team as the nickname. Yeah, that's whatever. Alright, last one
Silver backs them out. Let's go on, Lions said Jaguars. Finally,
gotta listen to the whole show to understand all the randomness.
That is thrown there in it's we're building our own

(01:10:11):
community here on Fox Sports Radio. There's no question, uh,
Philip Bostering. All right, Chris, I'm gonna let you lead
it off. As we have the Lions coming out of
the bye week going up against the Jaguars. The Lions
three point road favorites. You don't get to say that
very often, not not a lot, but I mean the
Jaguars have not been good. There's only one win apiece

(01:10:32):
to both these teams. I know, I've heard some people
pointing out that up until this point, the Lions have
played a very tough schedule, so that that's in their credit.
Credit as it is, however, it is still a very
slobby team. We saw this really weird thing over the
bye where Matt Patricia put his his uh foot in

(01:10:52):
his his mouth, foot in his mouth and talked about, well,
I had to do a lot of work when I
got to Detroit, which sent off Tremor's is dan Orlovsky
and Dama consuming a bunch of other players came out
to defend the previous coach, Jim Caldwell, who will remind people,
had a winning record and took the team to to
playoff appearances, which Matt Patricia meanwhile has had only nine

(01:11:15):
wins and called, well, got that in one season, but
nine wins over three seasons so far. You look you're
Philip Boss draining. Yeah, I know it's the political season
at all. Yeah. On the other side, I just don't
know if Gardner Minshew is really that good at the
end of the day to really we've seen this Lion's

(01:11:37):
defense feast on a bad game out of Kyler Murray.
You could see it out of with them doing it
to Gardner Minshew. I just don't. I I just still
don't trust the Lions here for myself. But I think
if you want to take the Lions, it's still logical.
Fall I have Detroit. Yeah, I think Detroit wins this game.
Jacksonville's defense banged up, uh and just sivilight, So I

(01:12:00):
think this is a day for Gola Day and company
to feast. So Detroit there you go. Everybody's on board,
which exactly LaVar Arrington with me on my car and
that's Chris Perffett on the ones that too. You want
to throw out your Twitter handle? Uh and prior to
Detroit and what you got going on? Sure, Yeah, at
Chris Perfett p E R F E T T and

(01:12:23):
we Run the Lines podcast will be doing that again here.
And uh, I haven't another secret project coming out here
on Tuesday. Anytime we get secret projects in, I'm all for.
Vince Close is our executive producer. Uh and of course
Isaac Lowen Crown on the updates. We got you covered
here on Fox Sports Radio. Sounding oh so pretty Vince.
What's your Twitter handle for those that want to get

(01:12:44):
into your grill about the Nationals and the Washington football
team v close one three at the close on three.
There you go, there's the team. Thanks for being part
of our extended family. Here we go. He says some
very disturbing things to me before we start at this
this segment. All right, well, that that will be the
relationship podcast that we bring into family and everything going

(01:13:08):
through Beard treatment. I mean all of those things. I mean,
we've got a lot of things that we can get into.
We've got our Mammals of the Week, Hinges of the
Week coming up next. Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Welcome back in Fox Football Sunday. Appreciate you hanging out

(01:13:28):
with us on a Sunday morning. You have a lot
of choices, we know, so please UH know that we
appreciate each and every one of you. Turn in the radio. Uh,
your I heart app wherever you're finding us. Uh to
Fox Sports Radio here on Sunday mornings lamorrow and I
have a last just need to figure out how to
make it another you know, two three eight hours hang

(01:13:49):
out time. I don't know about that. I'm not saying.
Where we're confined to a studio, there's a microphone, we
we may or may not have frosty beverages in our hands,
killing at a television, just letting and just letting people
in on those kind of circumstances as well. But we'll
have fun heads uh, and we appreciate you. Uh. You
can find him on Twitter at LaVar Arrington, on Instagram

(01:14:12):
at King of the Mammals, Warrior Woke dot Com. Cameo Uh.
He sings cameo songs on Cameo sometimes uh. And then
speak for yourself during the week. For me, it's the
I Want Your Flex Podcast with Dan Buyer and of
course weeknights seven to eleven Pacific alongside Jason Smith The
Jason Smith Show with me My Garment. Appreciate you being

(01:14:32):
along with us. Now we got two staples as we
get to the end of our time here before you
hear the simulcast Colin Calhern and Company coming at you
here ten minutes. And then of course at nine a m.
Pacific time, the one and only Fox NFL Sunday with
all of our our heroes Kurt and Terry Howie, Jimmy Johnson,

(01:14:53):
of course, the news and information Jay Glazer. He'll have
all these sits and starts for you in terms of
who's in and out in rewinds. But let's get to
the mammals of the week. I got three for you
this week going into the Buffalo game. Jump on the mammal.
This mammal will give you some numbers. Stefon Diggs. Let's

(01:15:15):
go with Digsy. I think he's been really, really hot
and and showing that you know, it could get even better.
I like seeing him in this game because he's gonna
have to show up big for them to be able
to win shootout style. Go with Joe Burrow. I don't
I don't see them winning, and again I don't see
the Bills winning either. But in terms of mammal performances,

(01:15:38):
big numbers balling out, I think Joe Burrow is going
to ball out in this game, but it's not going
to be enough. And then Chris Godwin another game. I
picked three mammals that aren't going to have wins as
a team, but they will give you numbers, stats, um,
touchdowns and in a high level of performance. So go

(01:15:59):
with got Win in Tampa Bay Burrow and and Cincinnati
Digs and Buffalo. And you had to make sure to
get a Penn Stater in there. That's true. Well, you know,
I know, I'm trying to learn how the brain. Well
you gotta believe it comes back. That's gonna be the
focus game here on Fox. I can't I can't wait

(01:16:19):
to watch that one. Will wrap that up in a second.
Of course, I've got the fantasy plays, the Ninjas of
the Week, but we got the Fantasy play of the day,
cow Many the Geico it's October. What's that meaning, Well,
it's Geico iede. Of course, don't be spooked by high
rates on car insurance. No, Geico is brewing up spell
binding savings at the crafting just for you. See how

(01:16:40):
much you can say. I get a quote today at
geico dot com. And the Fantasy Play of the day,
laviska chanlt of your Jacksonville Jaguars. We're looking for that
game to get up into the mid fifties. A lot
of points. Detroit Jacksonville. Maybe a throwaway game for a
lot of you, but I guarantee it's gonna be one

(01:17:01):
entertaining game of going back up and down the field.
Detroit battle tested coming out of the bye week. A
lot of questions where we've already had two firings. Is
Patricia next right? Is is he the next? There's a
couple on that block. They're they're on a race. We're
gonna find the odds and we'll we'll chronicle that coming.

(01:17:22):
These seats are on place exactly, so I've got him
as my play of the day. You also have Damien Harris,
uh Sony Michelle is on the COVID list. We know
it will be a split up backfield, but I think
Harris against Denver with the layoff gets the nod. And
we talked about Ryan Fitzpatrick a little bit earlier. Eventually
turns into a pumpkin. Eventually we will see the Ryan

(01:17:45):
Fitzpatrick horrible game. It's not coming against the Jets. It
will not be today. Jets might get him once or twice,
but the points are still gonna roll. So Tampa and
green Bay the game of the day. Is there any
one other one that just jumps off? Is that? Is
that that Pittsburgh Cleveland game we talked about in Buffalo
at Kansas City Buffalo for you. I'm excited to watch

(01:18:07):
that one. There you go, he's lamar Ic. Thanks for
hanging out with us this morning Sports Radio. We appreciate
you and we'll see again next week. Go in. You're
listening to the Fox Sports Radio Radio
