because it's part of the show. I mean, your your

but you you got something different. So that's it's find anyway,

they did a great job. I mean, I think plexicole
Is is is kind of a cool name. I mean I've
never heard it. I only know one, you know, so
it is what it is what I'm talking about. Hey,
shouts out to the guys in the back that make
us sound good, make us look good, all that good stuff.
Gavin Sam shouts out to you guys. We got them
(03:18):
in the building, David g back there doing our what's trending.
So we got a big show for you guys lined
up today, and I want to jump right into it
because it is indeed Super Bowl fifty five weekend, So yeah,
we're right here at it. Uh. You know what everybody
has discussed and and talked about at length, the quarterback
(03:42):
matchup going into this game. Guys. You know, after after
we spoke, we wanted to take a different approach to
how we talk about previewing this game. And one of
the things that I wanted to discuss with you guys
is the mindset and prepare for the big game. Now,
only one of us has played in the Super Bowl
(04:04):
and and has won a Super Bowl, but there are
some there are still some real movements in terms of
in our careers where the mindset going into a major game.
You know it doesn't you know, I'm sure you can
shed a different light on it, Plex in terms of
if it feels different going into the Super Bowl then
(04:26):
it does playing in any other game. But I'll say this,
let's chat a little light on what the mindset of
it is. But before we get into that, let's uh,
let you know where we're coming from. We're coming to
you live from the Farmers Insurance Fox Sports Radio studios.
When you switch the Farmers Insurance, you could save a bundle.
All you have to do is call one eight eight
(04:48):
farmers get a quote today. We are yeah, y'all know
what it is. Farmers. All right, So talk to me,
t J Plex. Mindset going into a big game? What
should these guys? You know, there's there's the mindset of
(05:09):
you've already been there. Some of these guys have already
played in the biggest game in the Super Bowl. Some
of them have not. Obviously, the Chiefs are returning UH
champions defending champions, while it has been since two thousand
three that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been in the
Big Show, so basically nobody on that team has has
(05:32):
really played in the big Game. What's the mindset that
you have personally, UM during the course of this week
leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. Well, we're gonna let
Plaques go last, since he's the only one that UH
has first hand experience with you, so we'll get ready
Plax that you can really give us a true first
(05:53):
hand account of it. But for me, it would just
be you approached the week the same as far as
preparing yourself. But you but you know there there's more
at stake every Oh, you you don't change up if
it's another game. It's not another game, and you'd be
a fool to tell yourself that. But if you prepared
(06:15):
the right way throughout the entire season, you keep that
same preparation. Now now you know, obviously as a Super Bowl,
so you don't want to put too much emphasis on
it because that could possibly stretch you out. But you
you have to be ready to go this This is
the last game, and you want to put your best
foot forward. And the biggest thing is you don't want
(06:38):
to try and do too much. You don't want to
get a ball as a receiver and try to fight
for an extra yard or two and possibly cause a turnover.
You don't want to be that defensive back that's running
to the ball or that defensive player that's running to
the ball so hard that you get a late hit
fifteen yard on sportsmanlike penalty. And so you're gonna be
(06:58):
real energetic, but you have to calm yourself down. You
have to breathe because once everything settles down, you are
just playing football. And although it is a super Bowl,
you are just playing football. Hey, t J. You know,
you know going into this week, uh you know, the
(07:21):
personal and the mental part of it, there's a lot
more intense than what you think it is. I mean,
your your preparation is always going to be your preparation,
but going through this week, it's like the little details,
like the little you know, uh, you know, don't be
short on this route. You know, it's it's a window
(07:43):
type throw different things like that, and for me, you know,
I just kind of just disconnected from the outside world
for that week, put the phone down, and just really
just focus on winning the football game. Everybody wants to
get to the pinnacle to sport. Everybody wants to get
to the super Bowl. And after you win the a
f C or NFC championship championship game, you know, you
(08:06):
sit down and even like, Okay, I'm going to the
super Bowl, but the object is to win to game.
You're not just satisfied with just getting there. And I
think that's a lot of the things that people forget
on the outside, and even the players you know, who
didn't have an opportunity to make it. When you get there,
you don't want to lose, so every so you're doing
(08:28):
everything and you're impossible, you know, physically and mentally to
get yourself ready for this game because you don't know
if you're gonna make it back. You know, obviously Tom
Brady's this is his temp Super Bowl, but you know,
some of these guys are going into this game for
the first time in the life and they'll never have
the opportunity to make it back. But like t J said,
(08:51):
you do have to calm yourself down and to really
you know, just really focus on the task in hand.
But in the back of your mind, your mind is
telling you know what, I'm in a super Bowl and
and and I can try and I can really kind
of play tricks on you mentally, because you know, you
have to stay positive and and visualizing yourself making that
(09:15):
big play or making great plays and just doing everything
you can do so the next man besides you can
have a success. So the mental part of it, I
think is more than than anything going into this game.
And even if you have a bad play, you know
you have to find, you know, a positive and really
(09:36):
not going to the tank because you know you're realizing, Okay,
I'm gonna see why this somebod or whatever the case
may be. But it's it's so mental, and you know
it's going to be the fastest, most physical football game
these guys are going to play in the life. And
when I got to that game and I was like,
oh my gosh, I understand why tough it is to
(09:57):
win this game because everybody is just playing so hard.
Mm hmm. You know, I always wanted to be recognized
as the best when I played, I always wanted to
be the guy that was prepared well enough that when
the game, when the game was on the line, you're
looking at me as the one that, Okay, is he
(10:20):
going to make the play? I always wanted to be
the guy when the game was over that when we
when we met at the middle of the field, when
I met the coaches, met the players, there was an
impact that I left on on them and on the game.
And that's kind of my mindset. That has always been
my mindset and my approach to a game was never
(10:43):
to never to let the game beat so big that
it creates a moment that's bigger than me. And that
was the first thing that I always said to myself
going into game week. And it's interesting, even though I
never played in a Super Bowl, I did get an
opportunity to play in the playoffs, and and just approaching
(11:03):
the playoffs the way that that I did was almost
a mirror image of how I approached every other game,
which was going into going into the game, well, I
always told myself, don't let the game be bigger than you.
Don't don't let the moments where you're supposed to make
a play be bigger than you. And My mindset was
(11:24):
always to say that Lvar, your focus and your preparation
is going to be bigger than the moments that are
in front of you in the game. So as I
looked at the film, as I prepared for the week,
my whole idea was, you guys know you guys know
this right, going into a game, It's like, here is
your matchup. Right, There's gonna be a guy that's gonna
(11:48):
want to challenge t J, that's gonna want to challenge Plexico.
You may get different guys that are going to cover
you during the course of the game, but for the
most part, you're probably and I'm I'm I'm assuming. But
on defense, this is how it is. On the how
it kind of you know, shapes out and scouting report
on defense side of the ball is you're gonna have
a matchup. So coming into the week, you you're gonna
(12:12):
have to have a match up with a tight end
as a linebacker, you know. I I had opportunities to
play against Shannon Sharp or match up against uh Tony
Gonzalez and and different talented guys. I had the opportunity
to play against running backs like Emmett Smith or Jerome
Bettis or Fred Taylor and all those guys, and going
(12:32):
into the week, that was your matchup, Like, you have
to win your matchup. So a part of my preparation
was how do I defeat the blockers? If I got
to deal with the lineman. So, if it's one of
them big boys, if it was Baselli, if it was
Trey Um, Trey Johnson, trade, you know, who do I
(12:54):
have matchup wise? And my mindset was, I want to
dominate eight what my matchup is. If I can, if
I can erase and dominate the guy that I'm matched
up against, then at some point in time, as I'm
as I'm tracking that situation, as I'm tracking that dominance
(13:15):
against the guy that I'm going against, then I'm I'm
I guess. I almost almost felt like a major play
would develop and I would be a part of it,
because more often than not, if it wasn't a receiver,
you know, if the game was was going to be
in the quarterback, the running back or a tight ends
(13:36):
hands to be able to do something, then that was
going to be me. That was gonna be at some
point during the course of that game, that was going
to be me that was going to make that play,
and that was you know, that was my mindset is
to make sure that I'm as prepared to make those
plays as I possibly can. Guys, now, let's talk about
(13:59):
with COVID the Chiefs arriving in Tampa Bay. I believe
today where we get a better game because you don't
have to go through the week of media obligations and
that also wearing you out mentally, you didn't you don't
have that this year. Um You're obviously traveling like it's
(14:24):
a regular season game, getting in there the night before,
whereas in years past you get there the week before.
And so will we get a better game? Will it
be uh a worst game competitively? Or our guys just
gonna be better prepared now because you don't have all
these media obligations that you would normally have in a
(14:45):
Super Bowl week, especially the best players, you get pulled
in so many different ways because everybody wants a piece
of your time. And so that's something that needs to
be taken into account. That it's just a different super
Bowl this year, all the way around from when you arrive,
your obligations, and so I believe guys should be more
(15:05):
focused on the game. You're gonna get a better game
because guys should be more prepared. Mm hmm. You know.
I want to add this, man, we gotta take take
a little time after after we make this, but I
wanted to to to kind of maybe narrow it down
and focus in terms of what you're talking about TJ
(15:28):
like this, this being COVID and having a different approach
in a different set up for this super Bowl. When
you went to the when when you went to the
super Bowl Plex, it was y'all's first time going. When
y'all played, y'all were playing against a team that had
had been there, had one before, and was basically heading
towards football immortality to be an undefeated team. On the
(15:52):
other side of this break, I want to take a break,
but on the other side, and I want to open
this up to the callers, you know, and you guys
can call in give it opinion eight seven seven nine
six six three six nine, keeping this theme a mindset
on on the same on the same level, I want
you guys to think about this when you're going to
(16:12):
the Super Bowl and you're about to play in this
game as a first time participant, what what do you
have to prove? What? What is motivating you what you know,
what is the mindset of what basically would be perceived
to be the underdog? And then what what do you believe?
What are we looking at from you know, from the
(16:35):
chief side in terms of what do they need to
be preparing for because the wind blows hardest at the top, right,
So they're gotta come back, they gotta come in, they
gotta defend their title against Tampa Bay. What does that?
What does that feel like? What? How do you look
at that? You know, I want to get yall's opinion
on that. On the other side of the break, you're
(16:56):
listening to up on game, the most authentic takes you
can get from guys who have been through it. I'm

Love that. Here's the topic is you know, you look
at a returning champion to keep the belt. You got
a challenger that's coming as the underdog, but has a
(20:13):
leader in a quarterback that is the ultimate winner in
the sport. And Tom Brady and I just wonder what
is the mindset that may not be your your thoughts
on the calls. I want to hear your thoughts on
the calls. It's still all mindset. But t J. Plexico,
just real quick before we take the callers, what like
(20:35):
is the legacy? Is the legacy more at stake? Is
it higher? Is is the amount of of passion going
into it more to build a dynasty legacy or to
knock off the guy that's trying to get that that legacy,
that that that deal where they're remember for winning multiple
super Bowls and and creating that that dynasty type talk?
(20:59):
What which which side has more pressure, which which one
has to have the stronger mindset going into the game.
Honestly they I truly believe you can't have that the
mentality of oh I wanna outdo this. Just do what
(21:20):
you're supposed to do on each given play, do your job,
and it's so cliche, and if everybody is doing that,
you you just hope the ball bounces in your favorite
These teams are evenly matched to a certain degree. I
believe the Chiefs are the Chiefs are top heavy, they
have the best players at critical positions. But I believe
(21:41):
overall the Bucks have the better team. And so you
have to approach it as let me just do my job,
and I hope the guy next to me does his job,
and so forth and so on, because when you try
to do too much, that's when mistakes are gonna happen,
and you start to make mistakes. Mistakes will be the
reason one team loses this game, not wind up mistakes
(22:02):
will be the reason they're losing. So you just have
to approach it that way. Do my job, and I
hope my teammate does his as well. Lava, when you're
talking about the mindset, you know between Tom Brady and
Patrick Mahomes and you're talking about legacy. If just to say,
(22:23):
if Tom Brady loses this game, does it turnish his legacy?
Absolutely not. This is this man's tenth super Bowl and
what twenty seasons, his his mindset has is the same,
is to go out and win this football game and
to prove to everybody else and itself like it like
he always does, like he always says, is to prove
(22:47):
that he is the greatest of all time. He's calling
itself the goat for for for Patrick Mahomes. I mean,
think about this, if he goes out there, okay this
this is this second super Bowl in the row, and
he's on the path too, too too basically do what
Tom Brady has done over the last twenty years. If
(23:09):
Patrick mahone loses this game to Tom Brady, is it
what is time? What is Patrick mahomes legacy? He doesn't
even have a legacy yet. What they're saying is if
if Patrick mahon goes out and win this game, he's
already going to be considered one of the top ten
quarterbacks of all time. I mean, I think that's kind
(23:29):
of premature, but that is what they are saying. But
if tom Brady goes out of wins this game tomorrow.
Will you be surprised that he that he wins his game? No,
you won't, because, like we've seen it before. Let's listen
to this. Uh in seventeen drive sevent team first quarter
drives in the Super Bowl, tom Brady has nose and
two interceptions, So that tells us. You know, he just
(23:53):
makes his adjustments throughout the game and he gets better
as the game goes on. If these two quarterbacks get
into a due of of you know, throwing the football
every down, I think it's something that we all want
to see. And uh, I just can't rule tom Brady
out for winning this football games if it comes down
to just throwing the football. Mm hmmm, let's go. Let's
(24:18):
see what the callers think. Let's see what the callers.
Rodney in l A. You're listening up on game talk
to us. Hey, thank you guys for taking my call. Alright,
and I appreciate And I know it's not a political show,
but earlier you guys did open the political door. You know,
you're talking about the Nazis Place program and Barack Obama
(24:43):
pretty program. Yeah, that was a different show. Next call,
Rodney wrong. Well, Albert Albert Albert let Al the riverside
man up on Game Talk to Us. What's the t
(25:03):
j UM. I think this Super Bowl UM book is
gonna be the the most focused we've seen a long
time because there's no distractions being from the from the media.
They're not there in the city. It's just football and
just football. They go to practice, and they go home
and and it's just and Andy's gonna have two weeks
to prepare. Tom Berry has already been there multiple times
(25:26):
and this is the second nature of him. So books
are going to be fully focused, no distractions. I agree,
I agree, Yeah, I agree. Let's get to another one.
Nice comment, Andre Massachusetts up on Games Talk to Us.
It was going on, guys, thanks for taking the call. Listen.
I think this game is about the fact you only
(25:48):
have a certain few people that have climbed out everything
in the NFL. You guys know the top pick, super
Bowl champion, plastical, key j great career. Everybody has talent,
everybody has a sense of confidence. Okay, but when you're
climbing that mountain of greatness, everybody can't say they want
a Super Bowl. Everybody can't say that they're a Hall
of Famer, and those things matter to certain players. Some players,
(26:11):
you know, if the if, the celebrity is the famous,
the money, so one in fourth. But then there's another
category of players that is really determined to make it
all the way to the top of that mountain, and
they will feel that they're a failure if they don't.
I think Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes both have that
mindset and are striving for those things. In terms of
how the game plays out, you guys, everybody mentioned it.
Tom Brady has been there before ten Super Bowls. This
(26:33):
is only Patrick mahomes third year, second super Bowl. But
there's unfinished business in terms of what happened in the
a f C Championship Game three years ago. So I
think that's in Patrick mahomes mind in terms of I
really need to go back and rectify that. And for
Tom Brady, it's about proving that it was more him
than the system and New England. So there's all these
other things that tie into it. At the end of
(26:55):
the day, As you guys mentioned, legacy is what looms
large for that certain quality of player that really wants
to be in the gold conversation, this game is unique
because both of those guys really are about that life.
Thanks for taking my call, yeah, man, and right, no,
it's sports. Yeah, he knows what he's talking about. He's
(27:15):
a Massachusetts I kind of wanted to have him rebuttaled
some of the stuff that that that he said. You know,
looking at this game, Fellas, I really yes, I do
believe guys are going to be focused, more focused because
of the given scenarios. But and and approaching this game,
(27:37):
I just wonder, you know, we talk about xs and those,
you know, professionals will break down the exs and those,
they'll they'll give the prognostication based off of what game
plan looks like in different things like that. But this
is Tom Brady and this is Patrick Mahomes. Probably one
of the most legendary matchups that we're gonna see, one
(28:00):
of the most legendary years because of COVID, you know,
altering it. I just wonder in terms of participation of
fans because the environment is going to be different. Um,
there's just so many differences that are going to play
out in this game this year. I wonder does that
play to anyone's advantage? You know that this is a
(28:24):
very interesting matchup in terms of, like we said, quarterback matchups,
but then you have familiarity with with the matchup that's
taking place, and you're you're talking about Spagnola, who was
the defensive coordinator on your team when you guys wanted
in New York Plex is now on the sideline for
Kansas City and will now match up once again with
(28:47):
Tom brady Um on the other side. So both different teams,
but a familiarity with one another. I just think that
I'm just wondering, you know, in terms of the approach,
who do you guys think has the you know, has
the advantage here? But hold on one second on that.
(29:08):
I want you all to think about it. And while
y'all thinking about it, let's go to demand David g
let's get let's get a trending, guys, will lead things off.
With college basketball today, there's a handful of games in
the top twenty five. Number nine Oklahoma leading Iowa State
by two sixty fifty eight. Austin Reeves has fourteen points,
seven rebounds, and five assists. Number ten Alabama getting smoked
by number eight teen Missouri. Sixty two forty two is
(29:31):
the score in that ballgame. Drew Smith has sixteen points
eight rebounds for the Tigers. Virginia Tech over Miami Ball
Games got about seven minutes and some change left in
the second half. NFL News Today, Kansas City Chiefs outside
linebackers coach Britt Reid, who was the son of head
coach Andy Ree, was involved in a multi car crash.
There's a couple of days ago, Thursday night in fact,
(29:51):
that left a five year old child with life threatening injuries.
That's according to the police report, and also alcohols that
believe to be involved. He will not be at Super
Bull fifty five. And then Trevor Lawrence is gonna have
surgery and torn labor on his non throwing shoulders, so
will have his pro day and obviously get ready for
the NFL Draft. Back you guys in just ten seconds.
But first a word from farmers. Call one eight Farmers

than using your phone to see if your post got
any likes. Again, call one eight eight Farmers to get

lot of a lot of confidence sometimes, I know for
me I was always confident that I could win games
(30:37):
on the teams that I was on for the most
part of my career because of the coaching. I knew
that we had superior coaches. I knew that we had
awesome players. A lot of times, those things will give
you a positive confidence in terms of the approach looking
at these teams, Guys, who who do you think has
the advantage in terms of when you look at the
(31:00):
matchups that are going to take place in this game,
who has who has the advantage and and do you
feel as though that that's a confidence that these guys
will take into the game. For me, it's games of
one up front on both sides of the ball, offensive
defensive lines and in the biggest advantage would have would
(31:21):
have to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going against that camp. Yeah.
You know what's interesting about that, t J is that
New York Giants team that had success against us, that
that was the defensive front that dominated that game. You
look at the Dominican Sue Shack, Barrett j P. P.
Vita Vella in in the Chiefs having offensive linemen that
(31:46):
are hurt and missing that that's gonna be tough if
you chip. If you chip, or you leave guys in
the block, They're gonna rush with four guys play man
to man and have seven so you can double one,
you can rob another, and it's gonna make it something
that to me is the key of the game. If
the Chiefs cannot protect or the Bucks can get pressure
(32:07):
with four consistently, um that that will be the key
to the game. That that will be the reason the
Bucks win or lose the game. In my opinion. To me,
when you talk about who has the advantage, I'm just
you know, remembering back to two thousand and seven and
the recipe that we have for the New and Patriots
and Tom Brady and being able to defeat him, and
(32:31):
I gotta say that the Kansas City Chiefs has the bigger,
the biggest advantage the things that Teach just mentioned with
JPP and in the defensive linte going against the office
line and they got some guys out. But from a
defensive standpoint, Steve Smagnolan, who was one of the finest
defensive play callers in all of football, him playing against
(32:54):
Tom Brady and two Super Bowls. Thirteen years ago we
beat him. Uh in two thousand and seven, he understands
that he cannot fool Tom Brady. So his recipe to
to to defeat uh, you know, tom Brady is to
(33:14):
play man and man, play bump and run and get
pressure up the middle without blitzing, and hopefully these guys
can cover for four or five seconds, because that's really
the only way that you can have a chance to
really defeat Tom Brady. If you look back to the
to the Super Bowl with the Falcons and the Patriots,
the the the the Falcons were playing straight man and
(33:36):
man all across the board and they're up twenty one
or three going and a half time, and then they
come out in the second half and they jump in
his own and tom Brady just picks him apart. You
can't do that. So he understands, listen, I gotta I
gotta get I gotta get pressure on tom Brady without blessing.
I gotta disrupt the time in between the quarterbacks in
the wide receiver. And I know that he understands that
(33:59):
he just can't of a Tylrek Hill one on one.
I think they're gonna play bumper running the outside. They're
gonna bracket him. But I think the guys that the
guy is going to make the most plays in this
game because Tylree Hill is gonna draw so much attention
as Travis Kelsey. I don't think they have anybody to go.
You gotta take those two out the game. You have
to take those two have to be taken out of
the game. And this is another key. When the Bucks
(34:21):
get pressure on the Homes, they better not let him
escape that pocket with him being mobile. Get better pressure
him and keep him in the pocket. I just think
Spags has the biggest upside of this game because he's
played against him, he's defeated him, and he can't just
sit back in the zone and let Tom Brady pick
(34:41):
him apart because you can't fool him. Man, you gotta
get up there and play a man and man, this
just up the passing game. Well, here's what I'll say,
because for to one good matchup deserves another good matchup.
Todd Bowls is an amazing defensive coordinator in his own
right and has has really elevated how Tampa Bay is playing.
(35:03):
I like his approach to being totally committed to stopping
the run on rundowns and then being able to mix
up where he's blitzing from the aggressive blitzes in terms
of the mixed coverage is not knowing exactly where the
pressures may come from, exactly where the the coverages are
(35:23):
going to go. So this could be something that may
possibly be confusing to some degree. I'm not gonna say
a great degree, because I think that uh Mahomes has
done such an amazing job of diagnosing what defenses are
trying to do and and partially, in fact, I believe
(35:43):
that that's the reason why Kansas City has been virtually unstoppable,
is because of his pre snap reads and the adjustments
that these often that this offense has been making all season.
But with that being said, there are some very very
a staple type of of characteristics and DNA of this
(36:04):
Kansas City offense. They love running the ball without running
the ball, so in other words, they love doing their
jet their jet sweeps. They love doing their misdirection, fast
developing plays. They love throwing the ball out there to
the receivers very quickly. These are running plays even though
(36:25):
they're throwing the ball that is able to loosen these
defenses up and create space and opportunity in those windows.
And and what I see a lot of is in
the center of the field. There's always someone crossing in
the center of the field. There's always somebody attacking and
sent sitting in the center of the defenses in the
(36:47):
center of the field. For Kansas City, I think that
Todd Bowls comes into this game and really if he
if he understands that A if I can stop the fast,
quick developing plays and hold it to a minimum by
the time they get to the passing downs of of
what's going to take place, because you cannot forget about
(37:08):
the running game of Tampa Bay. They forgot about it
in that last game and Leonard for Nette was able
to hurt them gifts. They they have some really good
backs in that backfield. So I really believe that if
if on the defensive side for Tampa Bay, they're able
to stop them on early downs and and forced forced
(37:32):
Kansas City to do other things like look to that
that staple play in the center of the field on
those third down plays, or force force him to try
to do it my homes that is, to do it
with his feet. I think they get the advantage in
this game. But I just have not seen any defense
is really outside of Oakland, excuse me, Las Vegas. I
(37:55):
haven't seen anyone jam up the routes with Kelsey or
Hill going across that middle on those slants, those end routes.
I haven't seen anyone defensive well enough or or actually
prevent those things from happening, even when the defenses see
it coming. So I don't know that's that's gonna be
(38:16):
an interesting one. I think the advantage actually goes to
Tampa Bay. But but you know, we're gonna have to
wait and see, Fellas. I mean, it just is what
it is, right, all right, listen, you're coming. We're live

So Progressive is going to help you take your mind
off your team for a moment. Instead of thinking about
how they missed that gold points score, think about the
name your Price tool from Progressive, letting you choose coverage
options based on your budget, unlike your team that missed
the end zone net area. Well, anyway, hope this distraction
about Progressives Name your Price Toool is helpful. It sure
kept me from thinking about all those penalty balls. Yeah, Sports,

T J cutting the scratch. You like that? You you
(40:42):
you were too tall to be be boy dancing. You
You was not spending on your back and on your head,
truly East Coast man. We was breaking on cardboard boxes
and I was doing fled doing the whole thing. Man.
You was pop blocking what I was at six six den?
You know that was that was a littlegit? What up
(41:02):
I was? I used to be electric with mine electric.
I used to be electric. Yeah, you got some friends. Man,
they want they want to chat in on the conversation. Man,
let's get let's get to some callers. We got. We
got a lot of my hal Brian in Virginia. You're
listening up on game talk to us. We're good fellas, man,
(41:25):
I'm telling me right now, I love y'all show I
playing my day around when I got to do my
running around so I can make sure I hear y'all
on the radio on the car. That's Virginia. That's right. Yeah,
so plack. Actually, I know this is about the DYNA
stand whatnot, But I did call earlier. No, what is
the mindset? Good? Alright, stay there so check it out.
(41:46):
So plex um. My personal thing is whenever it comes
to a mindset of a game, you have a lot
to do with that personally. I went to for the
school don't even the green run right and Mike Mike,
you know, Mike Mike Lundy. When one night I came home,
y'all were at my house and I asked what my
father was, and y'all were like, you know, you didn't
(42:07):
know that he had left to go get married. So
y'all actually broke that ice to me, and it made
me angry. So every time that we would approach a game.
When first Colunia played Green Run in football the track,
I knew our team wasn't good enough to beat y'all
in football or track anything like that. But my father
always compared me to what you and Mike were doing.
So I would prepare my mind to say, as long
(42:28):
as I outdo Plex and Mike, which I never did.
I said, it leaves him to play my game. But
being that I played on offense, I never had to
play against you really on offense, you know, because you
played on offense. I played on offense as a receiver,
and I would I would smoke my defensive backs that
I played a games so or something like that. So
it was like, even though just like the majority of
the people in the world, I never made it to
(42:50):
the level of the NFL or any type of professional
level that you all, I had, the mindset is to
the same. It's like you have that one burning thing
that will push you if even if we know we
can't win his game, like the Voss earlier, can I
win what I have to win during this game and
that might be a victory. But yeah, my father, he
always compared me to you. And Mike Mike, and they
got on my nerves. So y'all with my motivation, every
(43:11):
game is last. Respect man. I really appreciate it. Man,
you called it, you know, drop us appreciate it, but
putting everybody up on a game that y'all couldn't beat
us in basketball, football and tracks. Brian, thanks for calling.
