Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports. Hey, good day, Welcome to
Fox Football Sunday. Steve Camino here, Rich Davis. The numbers Fox. Yeah,
and luckily for you, which is forty nine is one,
which means he's gonna be in a good mood for
the next three hours, which for me, I gotta be honest,
it was rooting against you a little bit, because it's

(00:21):
it's just more funny when you're mad. You know, that's
like a rude thing. I mean, I'm not rooting against
you in life. It's just funny for no, for me
and everyone listening, root against the Yankees for the rest
of my life now, all right, But it's funny to
see a pacing back and forth. Yeah, Bobos here, what
a dude, the whole crew, and of course Ralph Irvan

(00:44):
I'll leave him. I mean, it's gonna be an action
pack show. I can't wait. All right, let's get right
into this. And uh, I think one of the themes
of today is teams almost letting it slip away. And
I don't know if that's just offensive coordinators and co
just taking their foot off the gas, but you saw
it with Bubbo your game today. The Cowboys, they took

(01:05):
their foot off the gas. That's what you call it.
Thet s took their foot off the gas. I thought
they went to sleep, and you just saw Tom Brady
with a nice little overtime win that you never would
have thought would have went to overtime. You say foot
off the gas. It could be running out of gas,
you know what I mean. It's a long season, ups
and downs. You get tired playing the game. You know,

(01:26):
you gotta pace yourself out a little bit. So maybe
it came out strong, which they did, and you got
pace yourself out. He got a little tired at the end.
I'm just saying, could be maybe, like Bobbo said, they
were just thinking it up. Well, Baker Mayfield, same thing. Yeah,
teams that were comfortably leading come away with winds. But
I guess you know, it's fun to see these other
teams trying to sneak back in. But jeez, making the

(01:49):
almost come back. You had Ravens put up a fight
at the end. Uh thirteen unanswered unanswered points in the
fourth quarter. For Well, that's how we say in Jersey.
But we're from the West Side. Fox like we always
do Fox Football Sunday Funday, we kicking off with things
that made you go whom your takeaways for week fourteen.

(02:12):
My first takeaway yes at the CNR Music Factory, thank you,
is I can't believe it's week fourteen already. Seriously, week fourteen,
well two weeks lesson two weeks so Christmas, I know,
I can't even believe the year is behind us. For
the most part um things that make you go, I'm

(02:34):
looking at the standings are Buddy Shawn says, man, you
love staring at the standing So I'm gonna try to
be light today on analyzing the standings. But you know,
there are five six and seven teams in the NFC
and there are five seven and six teams in the
a f C. And I bring that up because those
are the teams that are fighting for that final wild

(02:54):
card spot and the sixth wild card spot. There's the
six and seven seed this year that there are so
many teams in the mix. So with look at it,
everyone's played thirteen games, you got four to go. They're
in the mix with DJ they are, and it's fun
to look at the standings and it's fun to speculate,

(03:15):
but are these teams? Are these six and seven teams
really going to make a difference. Are there any of
these six and seven teams in the NFC really get no? Seriously,
you think that maybe at the most play spoiler, maybe
maybe one of the teams beats a team unexpectedly, as
I've said it before, But are they really gonna make

(03:37):
it all the way? I don't think so. That sound
like a broken record. Is it possible? Anything's POSSI a
pirate's pirate parrots parody? So why does that fire you
up so much? Because it keeps the fans and and
everyone still involved. Do you really think the Saints have
a chance? Do you really think the Falcons have a chance.
I'm just asking you. I just think that in other years,

(04:03):
maybe I'm just fooled, But in other years, I feel
like there comes a point where you're like, all right,
there's a few teams you could see winning the whole thing.
There's a few teams you can see going to the
championship games. If you look at some of these six
and seven teams where I don't think they're all very good,
but you don't. You can't see a six and seven

(04:24):
Vikings teams sneaking in at around five D and really
competing with Arizona or Green Bay or Dallas. It's wishful thinking.
I think that it's great for the fans. It's great
to speculate, it's great conversation. But at the beginning, middle,
and end of the day, I think we all know
the teams that are gonna be the ones to look

(04:45):
out for and the teams that matter down the line.
I mean, look at the a f C. And by
the way, we'd love to hear from you guys, and
Green Bay, the Buccaneers, the Cardinals, maybe the Rams. You're
forty niners eight seven seven. I want to hear from you, guys,
because I want to know which of those teams. It's

(05:06):
a great question do you think do you think well prevail?
And which are those teams do you think we'll sputterr off?
For instance, look at the a f C playoff picture
right now. Again, I love staring at this crap. The
Buffalo Bills are seven and six, The Cults are seven
and six, the Browns are seven and six. Because girl,

(05:26):
a woman, a woman with a nice hige. He just
walked by. Rich didn't even notice, because he's he's so
focused on looking at these standings. Focused you missed it.
Me and Spot were biting our knuckle like Lenny and Squiggy.
You missed it. The Broncos seven and six, Pittsburgh six,
six and one. I mean, I don't know. I just
think it's real fun to say that all of those
teams have a shot. And you don't think a team

(05:49):
like Cleveland or Cincinnati or Indianapolis can compete with Tennessee
or Baltimore or any like. The a f C. I
think is one open race. Like I said, Rich and
he thinks possible. Everybody has a puncher's chance, right, don't
and don't tell me. Don't tell me all of a
sudden you're sold that Belichick and the Patriots are gonna
cruise to the super Bowl and through the playoffs. I
am sold. I bought on to that narrative, and it's

(06:11):
it's been consistent ever since the Super Bowl contending Patriots.
All Right, So I'm gonna look at it. The six
and seven teams? Which ones actually have a shot. There's
a lot of them in the NFC. The first thing
that makes you made you go on Fox? Could it
be the Washington football team football team six and seven

(06:36):
lost today? Could it be the Eagles, the Vikings, are
just so good at letting down their fans, giving their
fans hope, which is why they'll probably get the last
wild card seed and let their fans down in more
dramatic fashion. It seems like the same story every year
the Saints. If I were to pick a team here

(07:04):
that can make some noise, that can make some noise,
maybe play a little tough man, I would have said.
I would have said, Washington, have they won today? You know? Well, yeah,
I mean, have they today? I think you're I think
you're looking at Washington still being a possible team that
sneaks in and they're just still scrappy and tough to

(07:25):
me and and and they're easy to root for, and
they look bad in the first half, and they look
bad today. So yeah, I'm not gonna say them. Maybe
the Eagles. Dude, Minnesota. I want to see Minnesota, but
they've just proven to be so disappointing when it matters
so many times. You know, let's go to the phone.
Let's go to you guys. We'll start with Emmett and Olympia. Emmett,
what's up? Buddy Hero with Cavino Rich Fox Football Sunday,

(07:45):
which are these six and seven seven and six middle
of the pack teams. Do you think could make some noise? Oh,
you're throwing the question at me here. Um, I think
I'm not sure about the Titans direct that I know
they're closed, they could do it. The Cults I can see.
Like I said a couple of weeks ago, I'm very

(08:06):
high on the Colt But the thing that makes me
go from this week is them Cleveland Brown. You were up,
you know you're was like twenty two three, I believe
three stuff at the halftime, and then you blow the
lead to Lamar Jackson. You didn't blow it. You're super close.

(08:27):
You crazy. Partly about that game too, is uh the
raven to get that on site take with like a
minute fifty left in the game, like super weird game.
It's a backup quarterback because Lamar Jackson got hurt in
the second quarter, first place, second quarter, You got hurt
and not going to do my next point too. High
angle I saw somewhere on Twitter. I don't know if
like it's the official diagnosis that Lamar is apparently a

(08:49):
high angle sprain, something you have to be worried about
if that's the case. And we talked about that last weekend.
We said for some reason, the high ankle sprain is
the new OH injury over the last couple of seasons
in the NFL. Now, if Baltimore is minus Lamar Jackson
for maybe let's say a month remainder of the regular season,
they're eight and five, that division is going to sneak

(09:14):
up on them. Cleveland and Cincinnati are one game back,
so you can't see Baltimore running the table without Lamar Jackson.
Definitely not. And that was that was I can't say
hard to watch because you really didn't see much. I
know he twisted his ankle um, but I heard, oh,
Lamar Jackson is out for the and I thought they're

(09:35):
gonna say season and I was, you know, my butt
was clenched out for the game. And let's just hope
that he's now not out for the season. Now, let's
go to the phone on Fox Kenny, Kenny, things that
made you go? Week fourteen in the NFL, what's up? Man,
Cavino and Rich I'm telling you, man, who man? It

(09:59):
was Jet We played right, but still, I mean everybody's
talking about Lamar Jackson. I mean he through four receptions
last week, the week before or whatever. They won. Yeah,
we've lost last week, but you know they came out
and they played very well today. You know what I'm saying.
It's like you pick anybody in the NFC six and seven.

(10:20):
You can't not st Okay, wait, hold on, remember they're
playing the Jets and Kamara is back, so you know,
prompts to him. But the Jets, you expect them to win? Now, Kenny,
I gotta ask it, with all due respect. Your team
lost five games in a row and then you beat
the Jets, and now all of a sudden you think
they're a playoff team. They lost five in a row
and they beat the Jets today. Now you could argue, oh,

(10:41):
Taysom Hill looked looked way better than he looked like
garbage against the Cowboys a week ago. So now you
say to yourself, all right, maybe maybe that's the team.
Maybe it's the hood that nation. Let's say what's up
to Teresa in New Mexico. Hey Teresa, Hey, how are
you guys doing? What's up? We're good? Um, it's funny
you let to talk about this because I actually addressed

(11:02):
this on a podcast that a friend of mine run
the friend and and I run and we we couched
in this way. And I want to ask you this.
All the teams that are leading their standing, the respective standing, uh,
you know, the Green Bay and bat Cowboys and all that,
who are the playoff contenders and who are the playoffs pretenders?

(11:24):
My thinking right now when I when I look at
I mean because if you look at what what happened today, uh,
I would say the one because I watched a couple
of games today. I watched the Kansas City chief uh
dismantled the Raiders. My god, that was a beat beat down. Uh.
And then I watched Denver versus the Detroit Kitty Cats,

(11:46):
and I'm sorry, you know all those of the two
games that I watched, they were just it was. I
would have to say the Kansas City Chiefs was a
much better thought game. Even though Denver got the win,
I thought they were playing down to their competition. Um.
But when you look at the teams that are leading
their divisions, I have to say right now, the ones

(12:07):
that I don't think that are going to make much
noise that I think they're gonna get in but noise,
I would say one is the Dallas Cowboys. Bubba is
gonna hate you for saying that you don't think the Cowboys. Sorry,
I don't see it. I just do not see it.
Number two. I would say, Tampa Bay, they're gonna they
make it in but they're gonna make they may be
winning their don't you know not to bet against Tom

(12:28):
Brady ever in your life. Teresa's doubt and Tom Brady,
I don't know if you guys got it? Got it? Sir?
All right? Thank you Teresa. He's got it and he's
gonna have another ring. Everybody. Hey, we love the phone calls.
We bring them on that. We appreciate you, Teresa. Thanks
for ms. Fox Sports Radio, Steve Coveno, Rich David Spot

(12:50):
the producer. Who do we got next? Let's say, what's
up to Caleb in Oregon? What's up Caley? Caleb? I'm
work Rich. I think the Patriots might be the real deal.
And the FC. I think we're gonna look at the Packers,
the Cowboys, there, Cardinals and the box so we don't
count out Brady. Brady's not gonna win it this year.

(13:12):
He'll win it next year. That's just history. But the
Chiefs and the Patriots am I two in the FC?
What do you guys think? I mean the Chiefs. Those
are all the top contending teams. Those are the all
the teams that that we would assume would be the
team's look. I related a lot of this stuff to fighting, right,
I'm a big boxing fan. You know that there are
good fighters and there are elite fighters. Right, they are

(13:34):
good fighters, and there are great fighters, and you see
that especially come playoff time. You see that in the
later rounds, the championship rounds is what you call in
a fight. Yeah, the Vikings are a good team. Saints
are a good team. Well they that could. Actually they're
both under five hunters, so they're not they're they're they're
competing teams. Washington's a competing team. They're all good. Anything

(13:56):
could happen. Anything can happen, Like I said, a puncher's chance.
They could win, they could upset somebody. But these other
teams are clearly better teams. I guess we'll see more
of your phone calls it the championship Browns bro your
feedback next right here on Fox Football Sunday. Fox Sports

I like that. I like that, Like you like that?
I like that. Week fourteen almost in the books, getting
ready for the Packers game Bears. Packers will be talking

(15:23):
about that things that made you go today In Week fourteen,
I did a little teaser for tonight. Oh yeah, make
it more exciting. And we got some pizza, guys. We've
got some pizza having fun. Yeah, I did. Uh. As
far as what I do for the teaser, are you
rolling with me? I got packers minus five. I took

(15:44):
it from eleven to five. Naughty little tease you. I
did a little under action under forty nine. So packers
by five, under forty nine, and that's what we're rolling
with to night. Well. I hope you had a great weekend.
I hope you avoided some some miserable like last minute
shopping runs to target home depot runs. Hopefully you got
to relax, you enjoy yourself, maybe a holiday party, maybe

(16:06):
some cocktails. I hope you had a victorious weekend, like
like the Chiefs, like You're forty Niners, like the Buccaneers,
like Loma Chenko, like Ali Vera, well like Julianna Pania.
Last night, I want to go over all the action
that happened today. I want to get into it all.
I have a theory about urban Meyer. I want to
talk to urban Meyer today. This guy's a maniac. You

(16:28):
got a theory about him? I do, sweet, But let's
say what's up to Mauser in Cincinnati? Anybody? What's up?
Things that made you go think that home? But first,
don't sleep on the Dolphins. We play the Jets, the Saints,
the Titans in New England. Those two games are gonna
be Titans in New England. But I think they can
pull it out there there there are six and seventeen.

(16:50):
That's hotter than all the other mid level teams that
don't matter. Did they have enough in them? And they
could they steal one from like you said, the Titans
or the Pats. If they steal one of those games,
now you're talking about they can't lose ball. They can't.
They can't go too and two the rest of the
way out. I mean, every person, thank you, Maser, you're
the man ahead. Things that make you go when our

(17:11):
NFL players going to learn the bad karma happens when
you dance on the other team's logo. Yes, I'm looking
at you Raiders. Yeah, Dan, anything to say about that,
We're gonna talk about that later. But it's one of
those when keeping it real goes wrong. Yeah, you can't
dance on there and have a little pep rally and
and have a little bonfire on their logo before the game. Yeah,
I agree, Usually it does backfire. It was the Raiders defense,

(17:35):
not the entire team, but Josh Jacobs came out and
vomited all over the field on the first play of
the game. Now, in the Raiders defense, in their in
their defense a little bit. They actually came out and
held the Chiefs to a three and out on the
first series for the Chiefs, So it looked like the
defense was a little bit fired up for the start
of the game. But the Raiders offense with the bed

(17:58):
immediately on that first played from scrimmage when Jacobs coughs
up the ball practically like tossing it into the defender's hand.
I have never seen him fumble like that before. I
mean that if you have you're a Raiders fan, that's
when you're like, really, that's how this game started. That's
how we're up thirty five to Zilch at one point.
But thank you Maser again eight seven seven. We will

(18:21):
talk about that again later on. Now, if you missed
the first portion of things that made you go, can
you hear everything on Fox sports radio dot com right
go back and checking out Fox Sports radio dot com.
We were talking about the NFC Rich You were saying
how there's an abundance of six and seven teams, can
any of them really make an impact. If so, which ones? Now,
let's focus, you know on the a f C. Mas

(18:42):
are brought up to Dolphins, But there's a bunch of
seven and six teams here that can make something. Hold
My whole point, which is been obvious, Well, I'm not
the only one that probably has this, uh take. It's
not the days where well, the a f C championships
most likely going to be Brady versus Manning, or even

(19:02):
earlier when in the nineties or so it was forty Niners, Packers, Cowboys.
It's anyone's a f C in my opinion, because if
you're telling me all along, you're like ya, of course
Politick is gonna rebound. That team stunk in the beginning
of the year, and they're just hot. Now look at
every team in the vulnerabilities. The Titans, they lost Derrick

(19:23):
Henry Baltimore, who knows how long Lamar Jackson's out. Herbert
has looked like the best young quarterback in the league,
and then other weeks the Chargers look like trash. So
there's not one team you I don't know. You can't
tell me that New England Coasts. The team that looks
the hottest is the team that started cold. They're like Hansel.

(19:45):
They are so hot right now. The Kansas City Chiefs
are exactly where we thought they would be. It just
they just took a different path there. So these seven
and six teams that you speak, I think the middle
of the pack teams which one's Cults and the Bills
are both gonna be wild cards. I think, at least
I'll be honest, we're talking the Bills. If it's not

(20:06):
the Billing Colts today, the Browns, the Bengal, the Bengle.
You're trying to tell me the big and Browns can't
make noise either. I think all these teams in the Broncos,
all these teams could compete with any because the teams
that are leading their divisions are only a gamer. So
better again, there's no eleven and two team. There's no
team that's twelve and one and killing it. Everyone's sort

(20:27):
of man, everyone's sort of good, right, sort of good,
sort of good. And like we said, as the weeks
go on, we're approaching week fifteen again, I compared it
to fighting the championship Browns. See what they're made of.
See who's still got some gas besides me? Remember I'm
lactose in tolerance. Sorry, guys, that pizza is really gonna

(20:49):
hit you any minute. Enough standing. I want to talk
about something, and I think the writing is it's so
inevitable all that what needs to be done. The writing
is on the wall, and it says for a good
time called Rich Davis. You really just say that on
the writing, guys on the wall, and it says I'm

(21:12):
telling you, it says Patriots Buccaneers. You don't want to
hear it. So it's fun to go over all these
middle of the pack teams, It really is. And and
maybe someone can play spoiler. Nothing's imposs simpible or something
like that, or something like that, and nothing it's possimpable.

(21:35):
But percentage wise, I think you have a ten chance,
which is the highest of a Patriots Buccaneers super Bowl.
And no one wants to hear that. But that's the
writing on the wall. What's the writing on the wall
to you? I don't think you know what's easy. It's
easy for you to say, say you have the Dolphins,

(21:58):
he'll sleep on them. That's his team worst, that's who
you root for. Be realistic about it. You know everybody's
gonna speculate. Everyone's gonna say, yeah, man, yeah, they got
a chance. They got a chance. I'm realistically, really realistically
gonna come down to one of the better teams. I
don't think that matchup will happen, but hey, we'll see. Um.
I wanted to talk about urban Meyer because the writing

(22:19):
is on the wall with this guy, but I want
there sometimes, you know, when you try to salvage your
relationship of friendship at job. Yeah, well that was the
writing on the wall that I was going to talk
about before he went off on something else. Urban Meyer.
It all started with the being all up close in

(22:39):
person with that hot girl at the bar. Remember that's
how it all. That was like the one of the
first moments where I was like, at his bar, Oh,
urban Meyer is he has he lost a little of
the team's respect and love because he's all preachy and
there he is grinding up on some co ed, which,
by the way, is such a weird thing that people
was grinding. He was sitting there. I'm just being technical here,

(23:04):
and if you remember, the bar he was sitting at
across from him was like a mural of him and
his victories and his family. It's so awkward, it's it
was a weird thing. It was. It was a weird
story for Urban Meyer. And that's when the team was like, yo, man,
you're a little bit of a hypocrite. People said, maybe

(23:27):
he lost a team then if you remember, there were
people saying he should be gone, and we were like, well,
that's a bit of a I mean, the culture we
live in right now, of course they're gonna say that.
Anytime someone slips nowadays or missteps, you're fired. That's just
the world we live in. So of course you weren't
here that a year ago. Everyone loved Chris Cuomo at

(23:50):
his brother, and now they're both like out of here. Man.
For there was a minute where everyone's like, man, I
really love the Cuomos when they talk together. Hey, in
their defense, back then they were great. Hell how for
for you know, to be on the how entertaining? And
now they're both like off to be on the right
side of the story. Yeah now now, oh man, these

(24:12):
guys are the worst. Hey, you love someone one day
you hate him and I hate him now I want
to be on the right side of history. I hate
him for the record, get him out of here. Yeah.
I don't like those guys. I never did, so Urban
Meyer Urban Meyer. Urban Meyer feels as though, well, did

(24:33):
he lose the team? Then it's like, all right, well,
this is a young team, he's an experienced coach. Let's
see what happens here, right. I mean, keep in mind
they after their loss today there two and eleven so
officially eliminated Trevor Lawrence that there was ever I'm sorry,
were you betting on them? Was that? Was that your
long shot? I was thinking maybe you never know. Probably

(24:55):
those are the stats that annoy me the most because
I'm like, that's the most most officially eliminated. Oh man,
I really thought they were gonna go on a rip
and tear. I mean, hey, you never know. You said
it too, all right, So they're there, they're playing bad.
They're the worst team in the a f C. Now.
Urban Meyer, on occasion, pulls James Robinson, arguably his best

(25:16):
offensive player, with no explanation, um this today. The first half,
they punted every possession except the one right before the half,
which is just a time round out. They can't they
can't get anything going. And then when you look at
all the behind the scenes stuff, what's going on in
the locker room, what's going on at practice? He criticized

(25:36):
Marvin Jones and all the wide receivers to the point
where Marvin Jones walked out, Yeah they had didn't they
have a screaming match? Isn't that what they say? And
then from what I understand, he's saying, he didn't say it,
but Bobo, Danny g you guys heard that. Urban Meyer
said I'm a winner and you guys are all losers. Wait,
he said this to the team, to his this asistant coaches.

(26:00):
He made a reference like, I'm a winner and you
guys are all loser. Said anyone you know leaking information
risks losing their jobs. You guys are losers. So hey,
you know, in his defense, he has a track record
of being a winner. It's just been a tough year.
So I have an AFRO. So if if urban Meyer
is not getting along with his coaches, the few the

(26:24):
few star players, the few star players the Jags actually
have are not happy with him, and he's he has
the number one draft pick quarterback that you're hoping like,
you don't ruin this guy. His confidence has to be
a little long. Well, I would imagine Lawrence isn't really

(26:44):
feeling great, especially after the game today, because it see
it sounds like such a good idea when they got
urban Meyer right and everyone's like, well it's gonna work
this time and Urban Meyers it's gonna be great. I
just feel like, could you say it's a failed experiment already?
Think about that and let's go to Ralph Irvin for
an update. Ralph, what is your thought about Herban Meyer?
His press conference today was quite interesting as he kind

(27:06):
of just shot all that down and did his explanation
of what it is, so you know you're gonna take
it for what it's worth. You didn't ignore it, you
didn't say I'm not going to talk about it. He
just said it was false. But can you can you
recover from that? I just wonder like it's when when
it's when all this is out there already, Like can
you be like let's forget all this? And started the
question is where do you have to recover? In in

(27:27):
in North Florida. Yeah, he can recover from it. With
the owners, Yeah he can recover from they hired him.
Is it going to be enough with the team? Are
you having to turn over a team that, Let's be honest,
was a team of quitters? Was a bad organization? Long
before urban Meyer got there. I mean, there's a reason
Jalen Ramsey's with the Rams, and it's not because of

(27:47):
urban Meyer. I mean this this has been going on
for years in Jacksonville. So you have to accept the
possibility that it's really that bad man. Maybe Herban Meyer
is right one of those I mean, I'm not saying
that's the case, but you have to accept the post
and it doesn't happen overnight, you know, you gotta It's
one of those trust the process sort of things, like
you really gotta trust it absolutely. You know what else,

(28:10):
you gotta trust that Sunday Night football is not going
to give us a score by the first time I
talked to you, because it is scoreless. Chicago and Green
Bay not oh eight to play in the first quarter.
Aaron Rodgers two of two for twelve yards, justin fields
one of three for nineteen yards. He's also run for
eight yards. But that is it. Just a slow start
to the Sunday night game. Earlier, it was San Francisco

(28:33):
and overtime winner at Cincinnati three. Jimmy Garoppolo hitting Brandon
Ayuk for a twelve yard game winning touchdown in overtime.
Tampa Bay also in overtime winner beating Buffalo thirty three
twenties seven Tom Brady Well, he finishes thirty one forty
six three hundred and sixty three yards two scores. The
last score was a fifty eight yard game winning touchdown

(28:55):
Tubers shot at Pyramount to get the victory. Chargers went
easy over the Giants on Denver ten over Detroit final
in the NBA. Brooklyn doesn't have James Harden in the lineup.
You know what that means. Kevin Durant fifteen one oh four,
So he scored fifty one of their hundred and sixteen

(29:15):
points in that contest. Right now, a couple of games
that are on the floor, Dallas lead to Oklahoma City,
that's with three play in the third quarter. San Antonio
leading New Orleans to thirty nine to play in the
third quarter. There and I just wanted to share with
you guys my play of the day. And then there's

(29:37):
no highlights of this. It's just smart. Justin Tucker after
a field goal, kicks off, perfect kickoff to the corner
right there at the start of the end zone, right
Joe Joe Natsen, who is a fifth year wide receiver
rat of Acron on the practice squad elevated to the
Browns today, waits for it, waits for it, waits for it,
puts his right foot out of bounds and then Reach

(30:00):
sitting picks up the ball, so it's an out of
bounds kickoff and they get the ball at the forty yards.
Someone in the Packers did that like five years ago.
I've seen that. I've seen that done before. It's a rare,
but it's really smart play. When you see guys make
smart plays, even though it's innocuous and is it gonna
matter much, just makes watching football that much more enjoyable.
Oh yeah, no, do you guys happen to see the

(30:20):
clip of Cooper Cup with the smartest football response of
all time? Reporter asked him about the like can he
tell us about you know the route you ran? And
I know he gave them way technical like football answer.
He has great football intelligence and Ralph's talking about absolutely well,
thank you, Ralph, sir. By the way you're talking about

(30:40):
Tom Brady. Tom Brady is the man. I think I
heard our buddy Kevin Burkhard who worked here at Fox. Yeah,
Burkehark got some swag. Yeah he does. He really does
he does. He walks around with a strut. Kevin I
think Kevin Burkhard pointed this out. He was saying, how
like Tom Brady isn't just hanging in there at forty
four years old, He's leading the league in like passing yards, touchdowns.

(31:05):
This is like Tom Brady is a legitimate m VP
candidate again. Yeah, remember when I was like really single
in my forties, my early forties, That's how I found
like I still got it, Like I'm not just like
you were, like the Tom of the single scene. I
remember thinking that. I remember, like, you know, man, I
still not only do I still got it, I'm bringing

(31:29):
the heat when you were single again at forty issues No,
I don't remember that being I remember that. I remember
thinking that, I just I gotta say props to Brady
because it feels good Tom Brady, when you still got it,
when the guys playing the way he's playing, like, there
is there an end in sight like knock on wood.
I mean unless unless there were some type of you
don't know what, you don't want to think this way,

(31:50):
but injury or something. Unless there's some type of injury,
there's no slowing down. He got tossed around a few
times today though, did you see it? He got a
little disrespected today. And I also still think we're starting
to see even though we know Rob Gronkowski is one
of the best, right, the longer he sticks around and
he makes great catches and he's just barreling over people

(32:12):
and scoring tuddies with his babe Tom Brady, I think
we're also starting to realize that he's one of the greats.
And and Tom Brady keeps doing it out there too.
Gronkowski is one of the greatest tight ends of all time,
you know, I mean you sort of felt that way,
No I did. But to see him do it still
and continue to do it, you know, it's it's still impressive.

(32:33):
It's still impressive. We're so focused on Brady, he's Tom
Brady man. To see Gronkowski in there, what a difference
maker he is. Dud's got mits. Gronks deceptively younger than
you think. I I understand that, but remember he was
Tom Brady is forty four, right, Yeah, but Gronk is retired.

(32:55):
But he did retire. He retired for a reason. He
had done it all, dealt with a lot of injury
wear and tear on that guy, but but still playing big.
They're playing big. Tom Brady's the man, not denying it,
not denying it. Gronks a young man, thirty two years old.
You're right because he's done a lot and he retired
way young. For like a minute, you think that Gronk

(33:16):
is older than he is. He's thirty two years old,
but he's got the wear and tear. Dude watching the
Bears Green Bay games. Still nothing nothing, Yeah, my my
unders looking good. So far, so far, so far, so
any other further theory on Urban Meyer. It's again when
we go back to that, it is a trust to
process thing. It might have been Ralph Ralph's tweets Ralph

(33:38):
Urband he was hot on the Twitter today. I forget
who said it. But you think about certain scenarios that
people are put in, right, like Baker Mayfield. A lot
of people give him heat. Think of the position he
was put in that one one game in their previous
like multiple seasons, right, So think of how far they've

(33:59):
come with Baker Mayfield. Right, So that's a matter of
just trust the process. He gets a lot of criticism,
but when you think about where they were before he
got there, he was. He was in a terrible scenario.
Same thing with Meyer, same thing with with Lawrence. Depends
on where you could be critical. You could pull the

(34:21):
plug on this dude. But that's that's I think a
culture issue. You know, Hey, you didn't have results right now. Again,
it goes back to the we want everything now sort
of society we live in. It takes a minute man
think about where they were. You expect results overnight, be realistic.
So he may have lost his players. Hey you know what,

(34:46):
find something that believe in urban Meyer. Yeah, it may
have been done, but it's your personnel. Like Ralph's uh
sort of pointed out, it's not like this personnel is
known to be winners. And there's a lot of quit
it's on that hand. So maybe maybe maybe he had
a bad hand. Yeah, maybe the disruption is not so
bad after all. Maybe maybe urban Meyer just needs some

(35:09):
uh turnover in that fifty three man roster. Maybe a
bunch of a bunch of new faces in the next year. Yeah,
I mean you got to give him more than one year. Uh.
Things that made you go Week four teen, We will
continue with your phone calls eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox. But I want to talk about Michael Parsons
to uh something He's up to Michael Parsons on the Cowboys,
Your boy Bombo and maybe I'll help you out in

(35:31):
your life. Talk some Cowboys, talk, some fighting, and more
football here on Caveno and rich Fox Football Sunday. Oh yeah,
Happy holidays, Holiday celebrate, Oh yeah yeah, let's celebrate Fox
Sports Radio, Fox Football Sunday, Caveno enrich A seven seven

(35:53):
ninety nine on Fox Things that made you go Week fourteen.
By the way, We're brought to you by one of
our favorite city, Las Vegas, the greatest arena on Earth.
Playing your trip today visit Las Vegas dot com. All
right now, um, I think we're gonna go in March.
Who's coming with us? I just saw a stat that

(36:14):
they showed on Saturday Night Football, A stat that goes
back one hundred years from nineteen one until regular season
wins the Bears one the Packers seven seventy eight. They
within three of each other. But since the Packers have

(36:37):
always trailed the Bear, so I would say, over the
roaring twenties or the boring twenties, and we're in the well,
we gotta step it up. Based on that though the
last decade or so, the Packers have really caught up
on that all time win list. Now think about the
Bears have stung for the last decade or so. For

(36:58):
the most part, the Packers have been good. Not roaring
as loud as they used to. Yeah, no, definitely, Packers
have been consistent alright. So things that made you go hmmmm.
I thought it was cool, classy move, classy like the
great Freddie Blassi, that the Denver bron Goes opened up
the game with ten men, information and tribute to the
late great to Marius Thomas. That was a nice moment.

(37:22):
Sad story, super sad story. Not trying to fire you down,
but you know, I think it's something we all noticed,
we all applauded. Now things that made you go hm,
then we're gonna talk about Micah Parsons of the Cowboys.
Who do We got Steven in New York? What's up? Man? Hey,
how you guys doing today? Good show as usual? Thanks man.

(37:44):
I like Casey. They're playing good, they're reaching into that prime.
My homes is playing great. And and what is mahomes
like the Great Lakes? Because my homes h Haran Ontario,
Michigan Erie and superior. I liked the Dallas Cowboys playing
good football and the Browns of the team. Maybe the

(38:05):
Browns could you know, chi him in and maybe get
a few more wins and make the playoffs. That's all
I got to say. Thanks, Yeah, I appreciate you. Man.
He's right about the chief style they are. You know,
he hit his nose on the phone, right right in
the middle, right in the middle. Yeah, that threw me off.
Everybody else heard you, but that threw me off because

(38:26):
I'm a pea brain let the attention span of a goldfish.
I heard the little beep that you hit with your nose,
and yeah, that I was thrown off completely. But appreciate
your call. What about like here on like period? He
lost me at that. Have you ever muted your cell
phone by accident with your fat face? Of course? Are

(38:47):
you there, I'm here. I can't hear you. My fat
face just muted it. And everything I just said prior
to that was so profound and you missed all of it.
Oh yeah, that's the worst we got. We Kevin and
l a. Kevin, what's up? I am so so over

(39:07):
just I can't believe these referees with Tampa Bay I mean,
if it's if it's not passive inferience with Stefon dig
at the goal line at the end of the game
for Buffalo to win the game, why is it passive
afferience with Mike Evans and over time keep the game consistent.
I've never seen a guy get away with so much
with Brady. That was a great thing at the end

(39:29):
of the game. That was an amazing pass. That was
an amazing pass. I mean, give credit where it's due to.
I mean, why are you fighting it? Just embraced that
Tom Brady is the man. Yeah, yeah, but he's right.
Though he's right, it's got to be consistent. Things don't
just happen. You earn that respect, you know what I mean.
You earn it. Not everybody's Tom Brady, Bud, that's the thing.

(39:51):
You earn it, not everybody's Lebron. Everyone likes to say
that too. Oh he gets all the calls. Guess what
he's earned it. Hey, rich, you get a lot of
breaks in your career. People treat you well, right, people
hate on you behind your back. But guess what. You
know what I tell those people? Thanks? You know what
I tell those people? Hey man, why don't you pay
off stop like worrying about rich, worry about yourself. Rich
earned it. He did a lot of brown nose in

(40:13):
to get there. I'm just kidding. My point is, I
think you just said all these things you really feel. Listen,
he kissed a lot of butt to get these bricks.
Maybe you should worry about yourself. That's why your breasts like, yeah,
the point is you know they have earned it, man,
well they have. I still think it's good to be
Tom Brown. You're watching a close game like that, if

(40:34):
you are on the receiving ends of the bad call. Everybody,
Sean who's a Buffalo Bills fan, I saw him on
Twitter saying like, are you kidding? Like when when your
team is not getting that call, grabbing of an arm
or you know, a little jersey snug. But no, no
one's saying there's a fix. It's just it's frustrating when

(40:55):
when you're on offense and the and the defense is
a little touchy, it's like, oh, let him play. And
then when your team's on defense like a little taparou
is you're you're claiming or he's claiming, you know, throw
the flag on on favoritism because it's Tom Brady or whatever.
But like he is Tom Brady, So where are your
eyes going to automatically go? Yeah? I hate that mentality though.

(41:17):
You think Jordan Jordan's deserved a little Electra call on
a drive to the basket because he was Michael Jordan.
They would say that all the time. Well Jordan gets
that call. I don't think it's fair, But then neither
is life. Man, Get over it. Not everybody's Michael Jordan.
You's talking about the greats, talking about the greats, alright,
things that made you go, We're gonna get to your
phone calls eight seven seven nine on Fox, we got
more fun Cavino and Rich Oh yeah, Fox Football Sunday Funday, CNR,

(41:47):
Fox Sports Radio and what a team, what a squad
you guys at Fox Sports Radio, turning it, turning our
tin cans to gold, Ralph Irvin, true professional Bobo, Danny
g everybody listening. Thank you guys for being here. Appreciate
you talking about Week fourteen the NFL during this boring

(42:09):
Bears game, Bears Packers, nothing happening yet. We'll keep your
posted on that. I'm Steve Covino, that's Rich Davis with somebody.
I got something that will make you go. I'm wondering
why you're wearing that whack old fuzzy Christmas sweatshirt. I mean,
I know why you wore it last night, but you
wore it again today. He's wearing a Christmas tree zip

(42:31):
up hottie to Fox Sports Radio with with a with
a hood on it with the branches. Put the put
it on so Bobo could say, yeah, he's I mean,
I understand it's Christmas time. Let's smoke him. I understand
why you last night because we all went to a
Christmas party that I'll briefly tell you about later, because
it's that time of year. We you hang out with

(42:51):
friends and you have cocktails and you have a few
too many like I did, and you wake up and
miss the beginning of some of the football games. But uh,
you're still wearing that jacket today leaving the house and
I needed a hoodie and this was by my dollor,
so I said, let me just grab it. And then
I realized, we make that you wear once when a year,
when we uh, when we you know, once you wear something,

(43:14):
you forget you're wearing it. Does that make any sense?
Like you ever you ever jokingly shaved? But keep a
mustache and then forget it, and then you like go
out and about throwing errands and you're like, oh, I
still have a mustache. That's how I felt I put
this on. Then I'm like, oh wait, I'm actually like
going around town with this on. Yeah. No, I gotta
be honest. I have done that. I've worn t shirts
that said inappropriate things, and there I am picking up

(43:35):
my kid at school a few minutes later. Oh, I
totally forgot anyway. I didn't mean to interrupt you, but
that sweatshirt you're wearing does make me go. What makes
me like he he must have not done laundry today
is Cam Newton. Yeah, that's up with that guy six ft.
I thought he was back six He's back to stinking
it up again. There was a there was a play

(43:55):
as you canna say, I'm back just stinking it up again. Jesus,
Cam Newton thinks that make you go. If you only
watch highlights, he's good for like one or two a week,
But then if you don't watch him play the whole game,

(44:16):
you don't realize how mistake prone, how out of sorts
he looks so much of the time. Like if you
just watch every week. He's good for like one or
two great place sweep into the end zone. He read
it in for you know, for a score. I mean
great athletes, but yeah, he have he had. He evades,

(44:36):
Uh can make things happen. He evades a sack and
connects for fifteen yards. And I mean look at Caim.
But if you watched the whole game and you realize
the mistakes, the even like the one of his lineman
stepped on his foot which made him fall backwards. He
tried to do a handoff and it didn't work, a
fumball and then he's there with his hands on his
hand like you actually have audio of it. Hit it bo.

(45:01):
That was that was Cam today, but it was just
live footage. Bring the heat today back, Yeah, back to
stink it up, Cam Newton. One highlight of game. He's
like a quick phone call. He's good for one highlight
of game on high one highlight of game. One one
call now and then I will tell you about Michael Parsons.

(45:24):
And I gotta take notice if you haven't, I mean
most people have. What's up? What do we got Matt
in Wisconsin? Hey, guys, thanks for taking my call. Right now,
I'm I'm more excited about my new snowblower than this
Packers game. But I am. Let's hear about it. Uh No,
the thing that you were talking about Urban Meyer. Uh.

(45:46):
The thing that I think is going on there is
he is so used to have been having control in
the college sports world. Right, you control everything, you control
the picks. Uh, you're the star. And now in for
batual football, you know you got an owner making the call.
You have professional men playing that they're the stars, and
he's just he can't deal with it, just that alone.

(46:10):
Think about the egos he has to deal with. Now, Yeah,
that's that's a nightmare. Thank you, Bud. Appreciate you man.
Matt things that made you go? Rich had a theory
on Urban Meyer if you missed it again Fox Sports
Radio dot com, thank you guys for being here. Spot
give some shout out. A lot of people hitting us
up on social media on Twitter at Coveno and Rich.

(46:31):
I'm gonna shout out Anthony Zepico, Bill Cubis, Mercerman in Pittsburgh,
all the people chiming in Funky Monkey. Thank you guys,
appreciate it. Hype man Harry, what's up so, Michael Parsons
This is your guy, Bubbo. So if I say anything
that's out of line, please let me know. Tooth overall

(46:52):
pick Penn State outside linebacker. This dude making a name
for himself, man, really is. And I think a lot
of it has to do with discipline. Yeah, great athleticism,
he's hungry, he's on a good team. But he's making
a statement so far, pretty accurate, right, you know, the
rookie record for sacks is fourteen. I forget the fella

(47:19):
who did it in nine. But guess what he got
to today. Michael Parson's got too today. You're talking about highlights.
I see this dude in the highlights every week, sacking
somebody to today he's at twelve. He's too away from
the from the record, but whenever he does anything wrong,

(47:42):
he takes accountability. He takes responsibility, and he does that
old school junior high thing that we used to do
Union High School, Union, New Jersey, That's where I went
to school. It's that punishment routine. He'd dropped the pick,
he dropped, he was right there, dropped the pick. What
does he do? He starts doing push ups on the

(48:04):
sideline and his friends, his teammates probably clown on him
and everything. But you know what, discipline, what he's doing
is working. That's really my point. I don't care if
you like it or not, but the results prove that
it works. Right, he's having it maybe well, definitely, I

(48:24):
would say defensive Rookie the Year, Rookie of the Year possibly,
but maybe defensive player of the year. The way he's
playing right now? Is that all fair to say? Bobo?
Are you loving this guy? I have no complaints about
Michael Parsons at all. Zero. No matter what the score is,
he's always playing the same. He's hungry. He plays very hungry,
and I love it. And we gotta keep that hunger
in our own lives. That's what I was thinking there.

(48:45):
I'm like, here he is. This guy's in the NFL.
There's a lot of established people there. They're not doing
what he's doing. He's like, man, I should have had that,
you know what. Back to the sidelines, I go and
do some push ups for a two year old guy
to do, because if you're a veteran in the league
and your thirties, something you're not doing. You're not doing
push ups on the sideline. Put w D fourty on

(49:07):
your knees, yeah again, you lose that hunger. I said
to myself self, you're so damn lazy. I said this
after watching him, these guys in the NFL taking accountability
doing pushups. I have. I'm good for it. Like three
slip ups a day at least, you know what we
do now, punish myself discipline, same way Michael does it.

(49:28):
I'm not even kidding you. I'm not kidding you. Push
ups every time you do something. I missed that, and
I missed up a lot, like a lot, a lot
like yesterday. Get this. We all went to a holiday party,
a Christmas party, right, you know what I did, like
a bozo. We all had to get negative, you know,
provide negative tests, like, hey, I'm COVID free. Here's the

(49:49):
negative test. That's pretty standard. That's a standard request, especially now,
just for the safety of everybody. Hey, have you tested negative? Yes?
I have. I left at home. Yeah. And you know
how at tension. Their nerves are always high when you're
going to a party. Everybody's trying to look their best.
You know, every you're running late because your your wife

(50:09):
or girlfriend is putting on her makeup. And I left
without the results. I'm already almost there. Oh you didn't
bring them. I thought you were gonna bring them. There.
You know what I should do, take accountability, get out
of your card to push upside, because you know what
you learn from it, man, you learn from your mistakes
because eventually, like, yeah, I don't evenant, I don't want

(50:30):
to do push up, so I'm gonna be you gotta
stay on my toes. So this is my way of
just saying, props to what I witnessed today. Props to
this guy. A lot of young talent. Yeah, he was
the original. Yeah, every time you pop the bawl up. Yeah,
you know, don't give Mike a part of the credit.

(50:50):
I would say, give Wesley Snipes, Willie Mays Hayes, I
give Wesley Snipes all the credit in the world. I
love Wesley Snipes. I've loved him since Demolition Man. Apparently
he's great. New Kevin hartschell. Oh, I'm gonna talk TV too.
Is that called true? It's called lies? Truth, tru something
truth and something dropped? Ten push ups? You miss steps?

(51:11):
You forgot the name of the Kevin Step. Do it?
Ten push ups? I'm gonna walk to walk. How do
you achieve greatness? This guy is a name to remember.
This guy's having a year. He's a rookie. He's playing
like he's been there. He's hungry. That's the difference. People like, yo, man,
chill out. He's like, no, there's no chill here. I'm
trying to sack the quarterback. It's called true story, True stories.

(51:32):
Here we go ten ten, ten push ups. I want
to say that this is the new Caveno Micah Parson style.
Ten push ups. Every time he messes up. This is
gonna be fun. He's gonna be ripped in no time
as you want to didn't sound right on a radio.
You practice discipline and you get ripped. It's a great

(51:55):
it's a great plan. Guys. You don't have to stop
and do him right there, but think about your missteps
throughout the day. Where's your accountability? This dude on national
television on the sidelines, It's like, yeah, I should have
had that. Do Asa Parsons does? Nobody takes acountability right
lab all their predictions about what's gonna happen, Whe's the accountability?

(52:15):
None of that happened. Where's your push ups? One of
his sacks of Heineke, he just tossed him like a
rag doll, rag doll. He honestly, Frankie Valley would be
singing it. He took. I mean, I get it. A
smaller quarterback will look tiny compared to a guy like

(52:38):
Michael Parsons. But he took like heinekey buy a shoulder
great pretty much was like map to throw him on
the ground like a one handed little laddie. I'm done
with you. I mean, definitely the guy for the Cowboys,
especially on defense for sure. So props to Michael Parsons.
Something I I witnessed, something you're bound to see on
the highlights later tonight. So I gotta get and props

(53:00):
and learned from his greatness. He's gonna win every award
if he continues, and break records if he continues this
way the next few games. But then again, here's the
other thing. Here's the other side story. Who held the
record for sacks for rookie set fourteen sacks someone on
the Giants. I couldn't think about it. Michael Parson's got

(53:22):
to get two more sacks in the next two games,
I think, or three because he wants to break that record,
because remember he has a longer season, will likely get it,
but it always be held against him that he did
in seventeen games. So he wants to do it quick.
I would think so, yeah, if I were him, Yeah, absolutely.
So that's a little side nugget for you. Now as

(53:44):
we're watching Sunday Night football, Aaron Rodgers handed handoff too.
I believe that was Aaron Jones. Is that Aaron Jones? Yeah,
they're they're driving, they're about to score. It's ten nothing Bears.
I don't know how that's the case. But green Bay.
Remember we're talking about teams that teams automatic to be
players in the playoffs. This green Bay team looks a

(54:06):
little little sloppy. First half of you asked me, listen
to the Bears in green Bay. Come on, investments, your feedback,
your phone calls, all that. Next right here, Kevin and Rich,
welcome back to Caveno and Rich. Oh me, this is

(54:28):
the Madonna version. No old school, this is Madonna. You
didn't know that. I thought of Cindy lauper do. I
got another ten push ups? Ten ten push ups. That's
a misstep. Push upsons. I'm gonna get ripped and I'm
bringing greatness back like Michael Parsons. To wrape that, to

(54:49):
wrap that up, Bobo, like, don't abandon the things that
made you great, right, don't get lazy because you're established
in the NFL. I know you're you're little worn out
and tired and all that stuff, but don't have banned
in the things that make you great. Discipline. We're seeing
it with Michael Parsons. It's working. This guy's sacking people,
he's breaking records. And I said, you know, every time
I miss step or dropping interception, I'm gonna do some

(55:11):
passull you know what, while you do tempo push ups
because you thought Santa Baby was Cindy Law or does
he do with eleven because he's number eleven. Ralph was saying,
I don't know how, maybe oh you do that? And
we're a Covino and rich what's up? I gotta bring
up something that we're gonna see next week. We're gonna
see two Saturday games. By the way, that the you
know how the end of the season we get not
only Thursday night football, we get okay, there, that sounds

(55:33):
like he pulled a groin muscle. Hey, the fun part
about this is and is me and Danny can talk
about him and he doesn't know what we're saying. I
know well was the most painful push ups I've ever
heard of my life. This is the time of the
year where not only do we get you know, your
Thursday night game, we we get those random Saturday matchups,

(55:53):
which is great because just another day of football. By
the way, it looks like it might be a pick
six for the for the Packers. There it is and
just and just like that, it was ten nothing that
it's Green Bay. They're back seat. Now it's getting exciting.
Don't score the rest of the game. I have the
under So we get extra matchups, you know, extra games
of football, extra days of football. Should I say next

(56:15):
week to Saturday games? But when you talk about how
quick momentum and how how it could just look so
different week to week, like you know, a team's positive
or negative vibes. Baltimore was in the driver's seat in
the a f C COVID positive or negative vibes like
the Chicago Bulls. No, there has a lot of positive

(56:37):
tests going on there. But follow me here, Baltimore. Baltimore
in the driver's seat. They lose because they if you
remember it seems like a long time ago, but they
went for two. I lost that game, and I was like,
oh man, bummer, but it was the balls he call
right then? Oh, just like that. They lose to the

(57:00):
Browns today, and they lose Lamar Jackson, and next week
possible hopefully not for the year. And next week they
have to play Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers
without Lamar Jackson. So you could be looking at a
losing streak that could end up putting the Browns or
the Bengals in first place. This goes back to the

(57:21):
little window you always speak of. Little window. Ravens had
a little window to win it all. And if this
continues down the road you spoke of right there, a
little window might be closing. Yeah, I mean, listen, they'll
be opportunity for Lamar Jackson possibly to to to go far.

(57:42):
But it was a couple of years ago when the
Chiefs beat the Niners in the Super Bowl. That was
the season. If you remember, during the regular year, Lamar
Jackson m v P. He was delivering on a different level.
Everyone thought that the Ravens were unbeatable. They got caught
off guard in the playoffs, lost in the divisional round.

(58:03):
Could that have been Lamar Jackson's best shot? Seems that
way you talk about it with baseball. Remember we always
joke about how cal Ripken went to the World Series,
Rookie Year never went back. Dan Marino early in his
career lost to Montana, and the Super Bowl never went
back like like it does. You're never guaranteed to get back.

(58:26):
Speaking of I hate to shift gears on you, Rich
and we will take phone calls at eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox Coveno and Rich at Covino and
Enrich on social media at Steve Coveno at Rich Davis
at Spots Center, Danny g Bobo and Ralphaule hanging out.
Thank you guys for hanging out. You said, will they
get back? Will your boy Jimmy g get back? Or
was that his little window? I gotta mention the Beatles documentary.

(58:51):
I'm just gonna throw this out there right for the entertainment,
the fun and entertainment portion of our show today. Is
that what you call it? That's what that's what I
call us right now as of now. Get Back is
a Beatles documentary on Disney Plus. If you've got nine
hours to kill, I highly recommend it. If you're yes,
it's like very it's it's very tedious. You have to

(59:12):
be very dedicated to watch the whole thing. Even I
as a fan, I'm like, all right, I get it.
Paul McCartney's retirement, they're they're they're all geniuses, and you
know they make great music. But nine hours either way,
it's still really interesting. I saw part one and all
the members of the band came off like douche bags. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
you get a different view. You know, it's about the

(59:33):
recordings of Let It be Get Back, all leading up
to that famous last performance on the rooftop. Nine hours
of footage, and Danny, You're absolutely right, you're seeing how
dysfunctional everything was. That's something to check out. And by
the way, when you always said when when people say
things like that, I'm always like, man, there were certain

(59:53):
generations and certain people that got away with no social media.
Oh yeah, like there are athletes they are a celebrity.
Is that they would have been perceived so different if
they were social media, you know, up their nose in
their but all the time, if they if there were
people scoping out everything they did right all the time.

(01:00:13):
Would Michael Jordan had been the greatest of all time
that everyone just thinks it's perfect with me with the
Beatles have been you know, so revered and so many
cover ups too. You know, so many people were paid
off to keep their boy band image alive. Uh. Speaking
of things to watch, so I'm talking about Hard Knocks,
but you probably watched it when they were coming up

(01:00:35):
with Cowboys. No, did not have any interest? They covered
your Cowboys, don't care. How would you need no interest?
I was watching that for you. I wasn't for you.
Now they're doing the first mid season cults. I'm wondering
if anyone has any take on that because I haven't
checked it out yet, but I will. I'm a little behind,
so I'm throwing that out there is Yeah, why not

(01:00:55):
check out first time HBO is covering the cults mid
season hard ox. I did watch the Cowboys one and
speaking of Michael Parsons, they featured him a lot. Yeah.
That that's why I feel a little more invested rich
to be honest, Danny's right. You know, did you get
a couple of stories that you follow and you're like,
I wonder how that guy's playing? For sure? You get
his back star, Yeah, for sure, to see that his

(01:01:16):
mom was screaming at every preseason game. Give Michael Moore
playing time. Yes, they were following his mom around that.
I'd be like, mom, get off the camera. I don't
know if anyone saw this yet, but those ABC Live specials.
If you've got the family over, you're you're trying to
figure out what to watch. You just finished watching Eight

(01:01:36):
Bit Christmas. Thought, I thought that's stunk. Yeah, well everyone
else's great. Everyone else is saying nph Neil Patrick Harris
is great in that movie. It takes you back to
that one gift you wanted in this story. It's not
the bb Gun, it's Nintendo right, which, by the way,
since his Fox Football Sunday Tech Mobile, the greatest Nintendo game,

(01:01:58):
super Tech Mooball Protect Mobile before the days of Madden.
An RBI Baseball fan to be honest, but if we
stopped the scoring here, I got the under touchdown for
the Bears. So you know, maybe it's a holiday movie
and a classic, or maybe a new one. Like I said,
eight Bit Christmas is the latest. Rich hated it, but

(01:02:20):
everyone else is saying it's great. May I suggest that
ABC Live different strokes. I thought Kevin Hart was fantastic
in that It's on Hulu if you missed it if
you missed it live, they re enacted different strokes and
facts of life. Okay, this is when all your football
is over and you just need some stuff to check out,
and I'm throwing out major, major props. This is all

(01:02:42):
I have to say, and we can move on to
Dexter new Blood. When you're done watching your football tonight,
when you're done watching your highlights, Dexter new Blood on
showtime anytime? Is that good? The end? Michael C. Hall
He's my favorite actor. I said that to Jordan the
other day, my girlfriend. I was like, you know what,

(01:03:04):
Michael C. Hall might be one of my favorite actors.
He's fantastic. You know who's that? I said, the guy
right there Dexter Dexter six ft onto them? Would I
or did I have? You know? You know I haven't.
Then how can you say he's your favorite actor? Now
that I had this revelation, I realized today I'm a

(01:03:25):
big fan of Michael Parsons and his ethic, his work ethic,
and his discipline. I realized this weekend that Dexter might
be the best show on TV right now. And we
talked about hard Knocks, talked about get Back because there's
a lot of stuff to watch. Dexter is so so good.
They're the Buccaneers of TV right now? Can you give

(01:03:47):
me one more so you can make it like Covino's
Top three of the week, Like Michael Parsons, Michael C. Hall.
Is there someone else that you're sweating this week? Who
am I sweating this week? Michael C. Hall, Dexter, Michael Parsons?
Is there anyone else that's Steve Cavino was like, man,
I like I pointed out that guy at the TV.
Like that guy, he's good, he's got it right now,
you know what, give me, give me we have like

(01:04:08):
an hour and a half left. I'll figure out one
more guy who's I'll give you. I'll give you one
of my honorable mentions this week outside of the sports world.
I'll give you. I'll give you one of the sports world,
and that's Deebo Samuel because he's back and he just
makes such a difference. He's impressive. He's impressive. Deebo Samuel
most under one of the most underrated offensive players and

(01:04:29):
all of football. Yeah, I'm hearing crickets, you know in
the studio, So Danny g and Bobo and Ralph you guys,
don't watch Dexter. We don't have crickets, no, but Dexter. Man,
don't sleep on that. I never got into Dexter. So good.
The thing is like, don't call it a comeback. He's
been here for years. It's been eight years and they

(01:04:50):
picked up and they picked the show was on, came
back and it's better than ever and you rarely see that. Man.
You know what I'm watching now? Hawk, Yeah, I'm hearing
great things about the guys. Good. I'm up. I'm a
cartoon guy, so I've been keeping up with Young Justice
on HBO. I loved Young Justice. That was so mad
when they canceled it. Sorry, I'm thirty eight and still

(01:05:10):
watch cartoon Summy. No, that's fine now because I'm hearing
great things about that too. If you got Disney plus
Jeremy Renner here is great on that. So just throwing
that out there for your viewing pleasures and if you
want some other good stuff to listen to, remember, Cavino
and Rich were on Patreon and happy to be here
every Sunday night, Fox Football Sunday, Fox Sports Radio dot Com.
And we're gonna be on not only on next Sunday,

(01:05:31):
but we're gonna be on Christmas Eve, happy me and
Danny's been invited to the Patreon show and he could
come hang sometime soon. Let's do this make that happen.
So who am I sweating this week? Deebo Samuel John
Lithco as Mr Drummond. He was great. He was so good.
He was so good that we were talking about that's

(01:05:53):
on Hulu if you want to check that out, and uh,
I'm not gonna get I don't have my third yet.
But you know what though, I mean, it's no surprise
that he's great, but Kevin Hart as Arnold Jackson, I'm
just throwing that out there was so great. That's what
made it great. So if you're gonna see John liftgo,
and let's go by the way we we've interviewed him

(01:06:15):
as John lift Go. People like to say lift Gal,
but let's lift go. Who knew? I always said, where
the f you at? Life Gal? But it's lift Go.
So I'm gonna say Kevin Hart as my third because
I know he's super uper talented, but he didn't have
to play the role of Arnold Jackson Gary Coleman and
then just knock it out of the park. The way
he did. I was really impressed by that. I was touched.

(01:06:36):
People want to be part of it? Give the Facts
of Life on Jason Bateman, John Stewart, Jennifer Aniston. People
want to be part of is that? You know, I'm
just throwing it out there, guys. A lot of you,
you know, so focused on your teams and your fantasy
scores and your sports and your football and your basketball.
I get that. When it's done, that's the stuff I
recommend you check out. And I gave some shout outs
people that impressed me this week. There you have it.

(01:06:57):
Let's go to Ralph with an update. Ralph, what's going
on in I just want to know what that Facts
of Life thing? Why they just didn't cast Lisa well
Shall as herself. She looked, yeah, I mean I was
in the game. Sound was like Blair hasn't aged in
forty years. She looks fantastic and she's a grandma. Now
that's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. I know, uh,

(01:07:21):
you know, last time I was talking about a slow
first quarter. Uh, then the Bears were able to hit
the scoreboard. The Packers answered and then snapped at Justin
Fields he looks he went he through the eules the
second Brisul's Douglas. Pete will take it to cous touchdown
over pick six for a Sul Douglas. That's the Packers

(01:07:44):
radio network with the call, and it seemed like, okay,
that's how it's gonna be. Well, maybe not Fields, tight
pocket over the middle, cart back to bear Berg and
away he goes to thirty ted and jud touchdown touchdown
Bear w BBM News Radio seven eight AM and one
oh five nine FM, the Bears radio network with the

(01:08:05):
call on the fifty four yard touchdown pass from Fields
to Bird in Chicago. Has that sent fourteen lead three
eleven to play in the first half. Justin Fields now
seven of thirteen a hundred and forty two yards, the
two touchdowns and the one interception that was returned for
a score. Aaron Rodgers ten of fourteen hundred and twenty

(01:08:25):
two yards. He has one touchdown toss now on the
NBA Hardwood one game in progress right now that has
Minnesota with lead playing at Portland to play in the
first quarter. They're about to get started with the Lakers
hosting Orlando Finals in Dallas one O three eight four

(01:08:46):
over Oklahoma City. Jalen Brunson led the way eighteen points
as Luca Donchez is sitting out a couple of games.
San Antonio one seven over New Orleans six, Spurs scoring
in double figures, led by Derek White and Yakum Pearle,
who each had twenty three. As we start it back now,
it is a Sunday night of football here with Cormedo

(01:09:07):
Rich fourteen already week fourteen, already, Well, what are we
doing for the Super Bowl? Man? We got plans yet?
Or what party at my place? Oh? Yeah? Whoa party
at my place? And then if we have to be
on the air, we can. We'll do the show from home.
That that that sounds good. My dad is actually gonna

(01:09:28):
come visit from the East Coast. Nice, It's all right,
Why don't we watch the Super Bowl together? Shout out
to Riches dad, Greg who always listens. Oh yeah, from
my gazebo and Queens, New Yall. We're East Coast guys,
Jersey Rich from Franklin Square, Long Island. We're here on
the West Side, live from the mean streets of l
A Sherman Oaks, where the average house is nothing in

(01:09:52):
Sherman Oaks, as mean. Oh yeah, always dangerous. Nothing dangerous
in the valley. Please tell me how your valley was,
Sherman Oaks danger you're a valley boy. I so I
got mean mugg today. I get mugged. I got mean mugged.
Some guys on me give me dirty looks. Today. I
like it. I felt very very scary, very scary, scary.
They is it as scary as Burbank or Calabasas or

(01:10:19):
any of the other scary places? You got a scary places?
He's hey, man, I'm just telling you what's up. By
the way, anyone else's uh. Parents have a hard time
with technology on certain things, like every every week, my
dad loves to listen to the show, but I have
to send him the link because for him to find
the podcast, they just send it to send me. Oh

(01:10:39):
like you could just you know, on your phone, click
on the podcast thing and just search. Oh just send
it to me Fox Sports Radio dot com. That's all
you have to do. Send it to some friends. Let's
have a little more fun. We'll keep you posted on
the Bears. Packers again. Packers up fourteen. Actually, I'm sorry,
Bears are up seventeen. But we talked some entertainment things

(01:11:02):
that made you go. The biggest takeaway from that was
there's a lot of a FC teams that are seven
and six, a lot of NFC teams that are six
and seven. Which of these middle of the Pac teams
are gonna have any impact if at all. Who's gonna
make the noise and who's gonna who's gonna just fizzle
down the last stretch of the season, right and again,
if you missed it, Fox Sports Radio dot Com, just

(01:11:23):
send your down the link. Like that guy was saying earlier.
Remember we had a caller that was all about like, yeah,
who that nation. I was like, Yeah, the Saint just
lost five in a row. They beat the Jets, and
now you think they're back on track. Well, that New
Orleans team that lost five in a row beat the Jets.
You know where they have to go next week? That
Saints team has to go down to Tampa to play
Tom Brady. So you think it. So that'll be the

(01:11:45):
test if the Saints are hot or not. If you
remember they beat Tom Brady in the Bucks earlier this season,
I doubt they'll get the best of TB twelve two times.
So that's where New Orleans New Orleans will falter next week. Uh, Minnesota,
if you asked me coming off of bye week, they
play at Chicago on Monday next Monday night. That's probably

(01:12:07):
where the Vikings straightened their ship and their seven and seven.
And I think the Vikings, the Vikings seem like I know,
they lost a lot of close games in there. They
let their fans down continuously. And I don't know why
I'm on a team that's six and seven as if
they're good. But I think they are of the teams
in the A in the NFC because they are good.

(01:12:28):
I mean, they're they're pretty good. I'm just saying of
the teams in the NFC that are a game under
five hundred or five hundred or fighting. I just think
that when you look at the teams, I'll mention them
now and you tell you tell me if you agree
or not. There's the elite, like you said, Cardinals, Bucks, Packers, Cowboys,
those are the division leaders, right, and then you got

(01:12:49):
you got like the Then you got the Rams and
Niners who are over five hundred. And you got the
Rams and Niners has predicted the NFC West would be good.
Then you have Washington, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Orleans. You've
got all these teams that are like like one game
under five hundred, and I just feel like Minnesota. I
would take Minnesota over any of those teams if they

(01:13:10):
faced each other. I can't argue there because I sort
of agree with you, I really do. And then you
look at minnesota schedule down the stretching and say, if
they blow this season, like they play the Bears, they
play the Bears twice, you gotta hope they beat the
Bears twice. If you're a Minnesota fan, you gotta beat
the Bears twice. Right then you play the Rams and

(01:13:30):
the Packers, I think you're better. I think you're as
good as the Rams. Packers will be tough at Green Bay,
but you beat them last time. I don't know. I
think Minnesota is the the team in the NFC that
could sneak in at nine and eight as a seven
seed and could upset a team like Arizona or Dallas

(01:13:52):
or something. Well, speaking of the Rams, you mentioned them,
they played tomorrow night. Guys, we'll talk more about that later.
If you want to chime in on your takeaways from
week fourteen, we'll do it throughout the show. Eight seven
seven nine on Fox. Things that Made You Go Cavino
and Rich Against eight seven nine on Fox. I have
a quick story. I want to know what you think
about it. Uh, pay attention eight seven seven ninety nine

(01:14:13):
on Fox. Again a subjective. This is all relative to
the size of your steeple, the size of your wallet.
You know, some people have few money, some people do not.
But there's got to be some sort of general answer
we could come up with here. My sister and her husband,

(01:14:34):
they work hard, right, and they do well, But do
they have money to spend? You know, not a lot? Right?
Are they doing well then? Yeah? Yeah, It's like if
they don't have money to spend. I mean, hey, Los
Angeles is expensive, but you're thriving. You But there's certain

(01:14:55):
things you understand when I get to the story, right,
doing doing well? For me? When you say if you
someone's doing well, hey they both have John's, they work hard,
and they provide for two kids by Danny g or
Bobo or spot someone trying, man, if you say you
know they're doing well, If you point to someone doing well,
I assume that means that they could vacation or do
things without even a thought. As I see the smile

(01:15:20):
on their little kid's faces. And I say they're doing
pretty well. We doing well in life, but you I
mean that they're doing all in life versus different. I
don't know. Honestly, I don't know they're there. It's it's
irrelevant if someone trying to you don't have they're not
the Buckstons. Well if someone has to say third generation
Clancy that inherited all this money, nor am I I'm
talking about my sister, you know, so I don't. I don't.

(01:15:43):
I'm not. You could just say they're happy, then they're happy, insulting.
I'm just sports radio. So my point is to have
that type of money to just spend. I'm trying. I'm
trying to present bull sort of story here. So say
they're happy, but poor happy, humble, humble, humble. Great. Yes,

(01:16:08):
And my sister wanted to do something really nice for
her husband this year, and he said, oh, touchdown bears, alright,
you want in the way, it's over because if you
do the maths, you do the math of what I
need to win the teaser bet I made. It's already

(01:16:29):
over because I need Packers by five under forty nine.
There's no way the Packers could win by five and
the score be under forty. Now I'm I lost that
bet before halftime. Damn it. Give us a push ups? Yeah, exactly,
miss step from Rich. Give us those, give us those

(01:16:51):
Michael Parsons pushups. There you go? Now is that Rich?
Is that? Is that Rich doing push ups? Or Rich
having seen all? Right? Well, anyway, do you know what
that sounds like? I'm telling I've known Rich for a
long time. It's an old so anyway, I'm telling you
the story as again the Bears who scored a touchdown? Guys,

(01:17:12):
son of a gun, My my sister, and we're all
on that sort of space right now. What are we
gonna get our husband or wife or girlfriend for the holidays?
For Christmas? What are we gonna do? And she said, Wow,
my husband, Chris, who's a great guy, great that. I
never get him anything. Nobody ever gets him anything. Nobody

(01:17:33):
deserves Rose Bowl tickets more than Chris. There's no bigger
Ohio State fan. She comes to me, She's like, is
that a little too much for tickets? I'm like, yeah,
I think so. So my question is how much are
you willing to spend for a Rose Ball, for a
Super Bowl, for your team maybe in the playoffs for

(01:17:54):
the first time long time? What's your limit? Very but
there's ought to be an answer, And I want to
hear your stories and I'll tell you the rest of mine.
And we do it next on Fox Sports Radio, It's
Caveno and Rich. Yeah, so you two right, no push

(01:18:15):
ups for me? Wait a, sac I though, Cindy Lawfer down.
All right, Caveno and Rich, Merry Christmas, Happy holidays. And
by the way, have we forgiven Bano yet for putting
an album on our phone like a decade ago. No,
I'm still mad about it. Once in a while, a
random song will come up and I'm like, what song
is this? Whoa? I'm like, I'm so sick of that, Like,

(01:18:40):
what is that? It's a stupid you two song on
my phone? Anyway, Caveno and Rich with Fox Sports Radio
and now Discover. If you're a valued customer, guess what.
Guess what Discovers doing. They know that you deserve a
simple gesture of appreciation for your credit card company loyalty
to them. And that's why I Discover matches all the
cash back you've earned at the end that you're first
year Discover exceptionally common sense. Learn more at discover dot com.

(01:19:04):
Slash match limitations apply. It's the Bears over. Green Bay
will keep you posted where Cavino and Rich it's not over,
but your your teeth are my teaser bits over, but
you don't stay over until the game is over. Yeah,
Week fourteen not over his Fox Sports Radio dot com,
Covino and Rich dot com, at Covino Enrich on social

(01:19:27):
media or just call us eight seven see on Fox
your takeaways from this week. And I'm in the middle
of story time. Oh yeah, let's hear it. So my
sister was buying tickets for her for her husband, Chris,
and it's his birthday, so happy birthday, Chris. But it
was like a birthday slash Christmas gift. And Chris never

(01:19:51):
gets anything. He's just like, you know, he does whatever.
My sister she got your sister. Yeah, you know, it's
got two kids, she's allot to deal with, you know,
So I respect Chris and she goes, Hey, you know,
he loves Ohio State and that's his only team. That
is his only team. He doesn't care about anything else
about Ohio State. Did he go to Ohio Ohio State? No?

(01:20:11):
Why does he care? I don't know, but loves him.
I really want to get him rose ball tickets. They play,
you know, on the first can you watch the kids?
I'm like, I don't know. Anyway, She's like, they're playing
the utah Utes, and you know, is this too much?
She said? Is seven hundred dollars a ticket too much? Again,

(01:20:34):
they're not rolling in the dough, but they're humble and happy.
That's what we established, right, Danny J humble and happy,
Devin Houndo a ticket four hundred bucks for you know,
two young people raising a young family. I had to say, yeah,
he deserves it. I agree, and those memories will last
a lifetime and it's better than the money. But I
think that's a little much, not two tickets. Who goes

(01:20:57):
by it himself? Again, this is relative. You know, some
people got a few money. I get it. You know,
Rich roles like he's Daddy Stacks. I get it. I
don't really like him, Daddy, what's your limit? Like, dude,
seven hundred ticket for me? It's like nah, I mean,
I'd rather sit at home, save the money, watched the game.
I mean, I'm not doubting your sister, But did she

(01:21:21):
just go to like the first Scalper that she met.
Because StubHub seems to have a lot in the three
to four hundred dollar range. Maybe they're not as Yeah,
maybe they're they're weak tickets. You know, this is his
first experience, uh you know, seeing I don't think he's
ever seen Ohios they play to be honest, but he
but he roots hard. So what sort of formula do
you have? What's the highest deal? Go? Because when I

(01:21:43):
heard seven hundred, like yo that I would never face
even hundred ticket. I will go go around the room
and see Danny j Raiders are in the super Bowl.
What's your limit? Super Bowl? I'm paying six hundred and
fifty dollars for a ticket? Map that's your max? Yeah?
Six fifty? Again, it matters what kind of seat you

(01:22:05):
have to right, I get that that matters. We're saying
decent cet decent c. We're gonna go to your phone calls.
See what Bobo says. We got more Cavino and Rich
on Fox Sports Radio. We'll do it next. Hey, that's us. Yeah,
write it down, remember it. Don't be like that guy
at the restaurant who says I got it, I got it.
You're like, you know, just write it down, please, and

(01:22:26):
then they bring your burger back with mayo and you're like, see,
I told you should have wrote it down. Write it down. Cavino, Enrich,
Steve Cavino, Rich Davis. It's Fox Sports radio spots here.
See if you just wrote it down, set us sitting
down with me and schmoozing. Write it down. Do your job.
By the way, that's a good question. What's what's more annoying?
When the waiter brows it up and sits at your table,

(01:22:48):
he kneels down, He's like, hey, guys, you're like, yo,
beat it or when they don't write down the order
with the confidence that when you don't write it around,
when you don't write it down and then you get
it wrong. I'm not impressed by your memory. Right it down,
write it down. M hmm. What did you say? Medium, rare? Okay?
Then they come back sweet potato, regular prize. Hey, if

(01:23:09):
you wrote it down, you would remember. So we're Cavino
and Rich is Fox Football Sunday. Write it down. We're
on every Sunday night, eight pm on the West. We're
on Monday ten push ups, ten push ups eight pm
on the East. All right, I'll do I'll do on
my promise, you can regret regret the saying that every
time you mess up, you're gonna pull a Michael Parsons
eight pm on the East, five pm on the West,

(01:23:33):
and we're on Monday through Friday. Patreon dot com, slash
Covino and Riches. Everything's at Covino and Rich guys. So
I want to give a few shout outs to Emmett,
Thank you, Randy Vincent, thank you, Russ Russ sev is
the goat, g Off Sean hit us up, Crystal, thank you,
Jason Bison bruce Ki. What a name on that guy.

(01:23:55):
Jason Bison Bruski, thank you very much, and uh, we
appreciate all the feedback at Covino and Rich Authentic Allen,
thanks for hitting us up. Jen's one l a in
the middle of story time, The question is simple, how
much are you willing to pay for a ticket? The
Rolls Wolves coming up on New Year's Day? And my
sister said she wanted to buy tickets, two tickets seven

(01:24:16):
hundred each for her husband. She said, Steve, you're my brother,
You're involved in sports. Can you help me out? I said, sorry,
I got no hookups, got no connections. Whatsoever. Sorry, I
can't hear you. Hello, I got I got nothing. I'm
not ticket master, nobody likes me. I know him on
Fox Sports Radio. I got no connections. Sorry, I can't
help you. She said, well, seven too much a ticket.

(01:24:37):
I said, yes, I think it is, honestly, yes, So
to wrap up that story, yeah, I think she settled.
She somehow got cheaper tickets, but the seats were a
little weaker, right, You get what you paid for, you
get all that. So, you know, seven hundred seemed like
to steep of a ticket. Then again, Ralph is saying,
you gotta keep in mind too, Ohio State's playing Utah.
It's a hot ticket. Utah has never been there. Utah

(01:24:58):
has never been there. InnoCentive event parades. It's a whole
hooplot Like, it's not just the game, it's a whole
day of events. So I posed a question to you
because it made me think my sister was willing to
pay seven hundred. That's a lot, a lot. I gotta
remind you one thing though, Yeah, sure, Ralph at the
Rose Bowl, Yeah, there really isn't a bad seat. I

(01:25:20):
have sat in the front row, in an end zone.
I've sat in the top row in an end zone.
I've sat at the fifty yard line. You know what
I should have called? I should give I should have
gave my sister Ralph's number, because she goes. I don't
know where where I should buy seats? Is said anything
close to the fifty yard line, you know, because I've
never seen a game at the Rose Bowl. I gave
her the obvious answers. The stadium if you're near one end,

(01:25:40):
I mean, if you're at the fifty yard line, you're
far away from both end zones. I mean it's the
stadium is designed in such a way that the seats
work wherever you are. Yeah, I'm seeing I'm saying seats
like two to three hundred a pop, and they're like
by the five yard line end zone. But when you
know stubhubbing, these sites give you the view. Hey, what

(01:26:03):
the key is just getting a little high enough? What
is so seven hundred? You know, being that you you've
attended a Rose Bowl before. I've attended everything in the road,
I mean the World Cup spot and I went there
for like a food festival, a food fest. The seats,
the seats were great for the food festive to the

(01:26:23):
drive through one. There no think random food faced that
during the lockdown. They're like Rose Bowl drive through. I
mean even the seats for the Rose Bowl swap meat solid,
So seven hundred a lot. It is considering it's more
than just the game, and it's the experience and it's
there's an event. I mean, I'm telling you if if
you can get something in the in the two to
three range versus seven, and it means that instead of

(01:26:45):
the fifty or at the twenty or fifteen, I do
that and it's a heartbeat. Yeah, Well, what's your what's
your price? Everybody's got a price. I was thinking about it,
right Rich, And it's gonna be different for everybody. Everybody
has a you know, different income and different priorities. But
your team is in it, they've never been in it,
super Bowl, rose Ball, World Series, whatever it is. How
much are you willing to pay? And I was thinking

(01:27:07):
about that. And we'll take your phone calls at eight seven,
seven ninety nine. Fox will continue going around the room
and taking your phone calls. Tops. I think we have
a theory. I'm giving you my answer. I want to
hear your answer. Our theory. As a show, we've been
doing the show a long time. Anything over five hundred,
you have to run by your significant other. That's just

(01:27:27):
the courtesy rule we've made. Right, if you're in a relationship,
you're married, live with your girlfriend, whatever the case may be,
you gotta run that purchase by your significant other, right
just to have of courtesy. Anything over five So I
would say that's my limit. But we're talking World Series.

(01:27:50):
I'm talking Yankees, you're talking Rolls Ball, You're talking Rolls
NBA Finals, Game seven, you're talking Stanley Cup, Stanley Game seven.
I'm looking right now. I just happen to look up
how many active NBA teams have never won a championship Pacers, Hornets, Nets, Grizzlies, Jazz, Sons, Pelicans, Clippers, Nuggets, Magic,

(01:28:11):
t Wolves. There's a lot of teams that if they
were in the NBA Finals and they were at home,
even on the road, Game seven, you'd want to You'd
want to be there. There's uh, there's definitely something to
be said about being at the clincher. But a Rose Bowl.
I'll tell you what I paid, just because I'm what
do I care if you know I've been to the

(01:28:32):
Niners two Super Bowls in the last decade, when they
lost to the Ravens and then when they lost to
the Chiefs. So I'm owing two. I'm the problem. Now
we know why they lost, and I was able to
get them face value from you know, people we know
at the NFL. I paid for one ticket for myself,

(01:28:55):
but I sat fifty yard line, like twenty rolls up,
But that would that's face value the steep But I
get it. Those are the ones that those are the
ones that are on like sub get these are these
are you know supplying to man, these are big games.
I get it. You're gonna overpay for the much of
the World Series when the Mets win the World Series.
I bought a strip of tickets from because we used

(01:29:17):
to work for the Mets Network s n Y, so
I was able to buy a face value. They were
three four a ticket, depending on if it was the championship,
divisional World Series. So listen, man, my teams are never good,
so when they make it, I guess I'm a little
more okay spending one. You're the Yankees guy, there was
a time of your life where every year it was
like automatic playoffs. You know, the Yankees were the last

(01:29:39):
team to win for New York since two thousand nine
up until recently. The New York City Football Club won
the MSL MLS Cup. Did you know that? They beat
the Portland's Timbers on penalties to win the first title
in team history, the first title for New York since
the Yankees one. I don't think that's accurate. I think

(01:30:01):
it is the Giants in the World the Super Bowl.
What year was that? After the Yankees won the World Series?
You just threw up props to the New York football team.
Oh so it's the first football champ Oh you stink?
There he goes more push ups Micah Parson style. Every

(01:30:23):
time camp messes up ten push ups. You can stop.
This is getting embarrassing. Now you are going to be
ripped though. Radio show add that to our production. What
was the Tyree catch? That was? That was a game
that was in Phoenix. That was before that. I'll tell
you right now. Hold on. I had a chance to go,
but I wasn't willing to pay the price for the ticket.

(01:30:45):
They wanted six d each. Giants in Indianapolis. They beat you.
I don't know the truth. I can't pass it off.
I was fed wrong information. I just had that rolled
with it. That that's what happened. Like, yeah, well he
must be right. Yeah, sorry, but no one in this room.
I don't want to throw anyone under the bus in
this room. No one in this room has ever fed

(01:31:05):
you wrong. Of course, not no one in this room.
But anyway, what's your limit, Bobo? Did you give us
your limit? No, you never came to me. Let's let's
take cowboys made it to so Fi it's right here
in Los Angeles. You would't even have to perspective. You know,
you claim to be a fan. You know, so here
they are. You gotta, you know, rock your gear. You

(01:31:25):
gotta you have to price them out. What's your limit?
Cowboys come here super Bowl? Uh, that's a good question,
to be honest. I never thought about it. I would
always say my cap was for a ticket. But you
can't go by yourself. You gotta go with somebody else.
They're actual, You're gonna meet a lot of people. But

(01:31:46):
it depends on where the seats are. What if last
minutelet's say the cowboys in deck go on a roll, Bobbo,
they're rolling, they make it to the super Bowl out
here where you live in Los Angeles, so Fie, and
someone's like, yo, Bobo, I got one ticket four yardline.
Someone bailed on me. Face value on it's eight hundred. No,
I can't do it. I can't. I can't pay more

(01:32:09):
than my car note for a ticket. I can't. That's fair.
I can't do that. That's fair. Like if it's if
I'm paying more to my rantom more to my car note.
I don't need to be there, like I watch it
at home out there, my own damn super Bowl party.
I just can't write your priorities chance, You're right, I
have other things that are more important in exactly exactly

(01:32:29):
and going to the twelfth grade next year. So I
gotta start saving some money. And I'm in the process of,
you know, shopping for engagement rings. Yeah, you know what,
you try telling that kid to get off to this computer.
You want his number. So thank you guys out there.

(01:32:50):
I would say, whatever limit you've set for yourself. You know,
Bobbo gave some great insight, great answers too, as far
as you know, more than his rent of his car,
more than his car payment for three hours. Now, I'm good.
And what if they lose, By the way, that's a factor.
You don't think that is a factor. I've been to

(01:33:10):
one World Series and two Super Bowls in the last decade.
I paid a lot of money to see the Fortys
lose two Super Bowls and the Mets lose the World Series. Yeah,
that's weak, that's real weak. That's a risk. That's a
major risk. You know, whatever limit you've set with your
significant other, if you have one where you have to

(01:33:32):
run a purchase by that person, I don't think you
go over that again. So I would say five ticket
for me. I'm in that bobo range. That's a thousand
dollars for two people for a ticket for the chance
to see them lose. Man, I don't know about that.
Well anyway, enjoy all your games, guys, and it's fun
to be there, don't get a twisted. It's about it's
about saying you were there. It's about the vibe. But

(01:33:53):
it's you know, I'd rather spend the money to go
to the AT and T Stadium, like to go to
Arlington there for the atmosphere. For the atmosp that's what
it's about. It's about the atmosphere. How much are you
willing to pay for that? It's interesting? Alright, we were
gonna go over more takeaways from Week fourteen of the NFL.

(01:34:14):
In fact, I'm watching on one of the TVs here
Urban Meyer looking all sad at the podium. You know,
the last seven games the Jags have scored a combined
sixty four points, which is the lowest during a seven
game span in that franchise's history. So this is not
the idea of them like turning it around and like,
you know, maybe did they need something personnel changes or something? Right?

(01:34:36):
Your takeaways, your thoughts, Like we said Week fourteen of
the NFL. More Cavino en Rich next, perfect for hop
along Dickey over here wait very country Christmas with Cavino
and Rich, MD Hi, everybody, how about damn Cowboys? Alright?

(01:35:11):
Comn on Rich. By the way, Discover real credit card
questions require real people, someone who understands your issues and
works to resolve them. That's why I discover offers helpful
US based representatives. Seven Discover exceptionally common sense. Now, uh,
you know, Spot, we didn't ask you, but I feel

(01:35:35):
like you've traveled to different states to see different concerts
most recently. It's well, when you work in the industry, yeah,
you're spoiled a little bit, so you're a little jaded

(01:35:57):
one thing that I like and recently on an opportunity
to see them, very named after Apollo Creed. Right, you're Pollo.
You got a theater and everything. Circumlar wasn't just a

(01:36:18):
regular concert seriously, and I said, you know what ticket
for myself to go with? Like, that's like no different thing.
So three hondo? How high would you have spent? I

(01:36:40):
think if you plant it was like five bills? Okay,
well listen if if, if your kids are fed and
your rent is paid and you're doing everything, you only
live one. So my messages do it have fun. You're
never gonna You're never gonna be on your deathbed and say, man,

(01:37:00):
I really am happy I skipped things, and no one's
gonna want to skip things. And that's getting closer to
again the Rose Bowl and the Super Bowl and all
these other NBA finals. We posed the question to you guys,
what's your limit for tickets? You can still hit us
up at Covino and Rich remember Fox Sports Radio at
Fox Sports Radio, Fox sports radio dot com. And the

(01:37:22):
number if you want to chime in, is eight seven
seven nine on Fox. I'm Steve Cavino. That is Rich Davis,
Rich do you know who Cameron Johnston is. I'm not
trying to put you on the spot. I don't assume
that you do. Tell me you got a lot of
social media love this past week, Cameron Johnston. Dude looks
like Bill Burke. Yes, exactly why he's all over social media. Yeah, yeah,

(01:37:46):
you haven't seen this, Just like look up any like
any sports website. It's Bill burt. He looks like, well,
he's a punter for the Texans, right, and someone snagged
the picture of him just sitting in there on the
sidelines and the way he is making an expression, he
looks exactly like Bill Burr, comedian Bill Burr. Now, I

(01:38:09):
think you know, the average fan is sort of saying, yeah,
oh my god, is that Bill says? Well, when the
headline right here, NFL fans had lots of fun poking
jokes the adverse. The advertisement went over that, yeah, NFL
fans had a lot of jokes about the Texans punter

(01:38:30):
looking like comedian Bill Burr. Something like my dad, my dad.
It really does though, And that picture, especially the one
that went out, my dad can't look at Aaron Rodgers
without thinking he looks just like Ellen degenerous. My dad
is convinced that Ellen Degenerous and Aaron Rodgers have the
same eyes and face like he they have the same
dopey stare. That's what it is. There's it's something in

(01:38:52):
the eyes for sure. As we watch, we'll look at
that justin Fields just got sacked by the pack or
in the fumble recovery Packers ball. As we watch Aaron
Rodgers take the field, take the field, had Ellen Degenerous
where number twelve she got? He kind of looks like
Ellen Degeneras all you know. I think he looks like

(01:39:15):
when when he's got the scruff going on. To me,
he looks like Max Kellerman a little bit. I feel
like if Max wanted to pretend to be Aaron Rodgers
for like a a TV bit, put a put a
hat on, he could he could be him. Looks like
him a little bit. And just like that, Oh the touchdown, touchdown,

(01:39:37):
green Bay. Another one. There you go, and they're going
for two damn. So it got us thinking, guys, as
green Bay, green Bay just scores against the Bears. Will
keep you posted, doub bears, doub bears seeing Aaron Rodgers

(01:39:58):
making some really nice passes tonight. Aaron, He's just great.
We're watching him, we're saying, he does look like Allen
a little bit Allen. I'm thinking of this, this very
viral story this week about Cameron Johnston, who I don't
think everybody knows unless you're rooting for the Texans, rooting
in Twoton. He looks a lot like Bill Burr. And

(01:40:20):
then I had a good laugh at it got me
thinking of other sports doppel gangers lookalikes. Some of these
people don't even know, but I looked it up for fun,
you know, research for the show for our Fox Sports
Radio Sunday Fun Day with Cavino and Rich. Carlos Biancie,
I don't know who this guy is. Do you know

(01:40:41):
who he is? But it's funny as hell. He's like
a he's a football coach. If I'm not mistaken. It
looks so much like Larry David. He must get that
everywhere he goes. You know this is it's interactive, right guys.
You have computers, you have phones on you you know,
next light search up. Carlos Biancie, this too, he's Larry David.

(01:41:03):
But it's so funny when you say, now, I'm gonna
throw some out there. Some of these guys, you will
know that Chris Bosh when he has the dreads and
Chris Bosh one of the coolest dudes. You know, he's
been on the Cavino and Rich Show before. Super cool,
super nice, super super intelligent and a super thinker. Do
you ever think he looks like Snoop Dogg? You know

(01:41:25):
the guy who lives in the metaverse now Snoop Dogg.
Snoop Dogg giving the guy that's uh, you know, I
list his friend on you know, Different Strokes. Oh, that
was great. He played Verne on Different Strokes Snoop Dogg
just recently. You ever see Chris Bosh and Snoop dog
side by side? They look more length than you thought,

(01:41:46):
more than you thought. I don't think it's a good one.
That's not a good one. All right, Well have you
ever seen him together? Then? All right? How about this
one is a classic. You know, we're not breaking the
glass here, but this is definitely and we're gonna take
your phone calls. Have you ever thought that guy looks
like this guy? Let us know, just having some fun
the whole Aaron Rodgers, Bill Burr's Story, Fox, Stan Van

(01:42:10):
Gundi and Ron Jeremy that's a that's a classic. You
don't like that one? How about this? I thought this
was great because it's so true. You were look at
Andy Roddick and like, why does he look familiar? It
looks like stiff He looks like Stiffler. Now because then
what you say is, yeah, because he's Andy Roddick. That's
how it looks familiar. Andy Roddick looks like our good pal,

(01:42:33):
Sean William Scott, the stiff Meister, the stiff if stiff
if there was a story of Andy Roddick and they
didn't cast Stiffler, they dropped the ball. They dropped a
tennis ball. Good on one of my favorites. Guys, when
you really think about this, it's it's wrong, but it's

(01:42:53):
also right. By the way. I love that one too.
Rich's got a little list going on to John Header. Yeah,
from the hole in Dynamite looks like Jared Goff. He
really thought Nick Foles, Nick Falls, Nick Foles, Nick Foles,
and Napoleon Dynamite really do look alike. The good one.

(01:43:14):
I would love to see Nick Falls do that dance.
He voted for Pedro. Now this one's bad. This was bad,
but oh so good. David Ortiz, big poppy. I coping
David Ortiz looks like Esther Roll who plays Florida in
Good Times. I mean, what doesn't he though? When you

(01:43:35):
see the side by side, it looks like it looks
like Florida from Good Times could be his mom. That's
how much they look alike. No doubt. What about that
I see? I felt about Can I get more? I
don't know if I agree with the one you're about
to look at the same. When I was a kid,
I did think this a lot. I don't think so
at all. I think so has Dan Marino. You can't

(01:43:56):
put your Dan Marino in kit I could see that.
I can see how when because when you're a kid,
like when you're a kid, especially, you mix people up.
I thought Larry from Three's Company was Neil Diamond just
because they resembled each other. I thought Snyder from One
Day at a Time was my dad because they had mustaches,
you know what I mean, Like when you're little, you

(01:44:18):
mix them up. That's a good one. I think that's
a good Rich has a list up. We're talking about
athlete slash celebrity doppel gangers. Guys athlete celebrity doppel gangers,
if any more come to mind like this one, says
Kyle Orton and Dave Grohl And never had that thought.
But I don't. I don't see it. I mean, then again,

(01:44:41):
I never compare anybody that Dave, what about Jim from
the Office, John Krasinski and Michael Phelps. I think that's
a good one when you see it side by side.
I never thought it. But when you see the side
by side, you're like, yeah, I could see that. I
could see that. You think the Weekend looks like Patty Mills. No,
that's on this list because the Weekend so known for

(01:45:01):
his hair do. And I don't see that. That's a
good one. Mike Tomlin and Omar Epps. Yes, that's a
real good one. So just throwing that out there. If
then he come to mind, you can hit us up
at Kobin on Rich at Fox Sports Radio. The reason
why you bring it up is Algre. It is a
story this week. The punter of the Texans, Cameron Johnston,

(01:45:24):
looks just like comedian Bill Burr that it was trending
to It was like why Texans? He must It definitely
got back to him, for sure, It definitely got back
to him. Yeah, I look like that O the punt,
the guy from the Texas idin waking up and like
all of a sudden, you know, people hitting the ub
Who who do I look like? I look like da have?
Bill Burr's probably like, I look like that guy. But
I'm telling you, you know, not a day goes by.

(01:45:46):
I'm sure Bill Burr is gonna be hearing that. And
Cameron Johnson probably hears that every day that he looks
like Bill burn. If you kind of resemble somebody like
our our pal spot here looks like Yukon Cornelius, you
must hear that every day you looked at you, you'll
get the guy from hometown. What's his name, Ben Napier
on HDTV Ben Napier, the contractor on HDTV. Now, when

(01:46:13):
I was younger, you know a lot of people said
Enrique Glesias. Now they're saying more Gaby Glesiers. So yeah,
you know that just happens. I guess not, not not
after yeah, I get fit in the new year, Not
after I live up to that resolution. Who do you
get Bobo, who's truthfully yeah, doppel ganger. I'd never see it.

(01:46:35):
Usher do you get us? I can see it? No, something.
I can't see it. No, I can't see it. There's something.
It's the funny part. I actually worked on his music
video as an extra Loving Loving the club and one
of the photographers came up to him. He was like,
aren't you ushers brother, You're supposed to be over there.
I was like, na, bro, Like I don't even know

(01:46:57):
for sure. I could definitely see that. Rich and I
always get the same stuff, like the Zack and Slater
sort of thing. We hear that all the time. But
I'm telling you this guy, Cameron Johnson is gonna be
here in Bill Burr and vice versa. Bill the people
can make Bill burn sow you onto Texans for the
next few weeks, if not years period. Let's go to
the phone and say hello to some people. Just throwing

(01:47:17):
that out. There's Fox Sports Radio eight seven seven Fox.
We'll say hi to Jeff in Pennsylvania and then we'll
we'll take his call quick and then we'll go can
an update with Ralph. What's up, Jeff, Jeff? Jeff? Hi, guys,
what's up buddy? First time first time calling her to

(01:47:39):
the show. Thanks man, Just just gonna dial in with
my Max. I guess for a super Bowl ticket. Yeah,
what would you be? Well, first of all, what's your team?
I'll tell you what I have paid so huge New
England I mean Boston sports fan. My mother is from
the New One area. I was brainwashed at an early

(01:48:02):
age and then it was a huge Patriots fan, but
then found out after Brady left, I was as much
a Tom Brady fan as I wasn't. But back when
they played the Rams in Atlanta for the Super Bowl,
his last super Bowl with New England, it was one
of these things where I'm thinking, all right, I can
get there easy from you know, flying from Philadelphia down

(01:48:25):
to Atlanta, plenty of flight just that. So I looked
at tickets at the time. I bought tickets and they
weren't bad seats thirty six dollars a piece out of
your mind. Jeff has money to spend to I had
to get two tickets, and then I couldn't find somebody

(01:48:48):
to go with me. So I called my nephew. I
have a nephew in Pittsburgh. I called my brother in Lawn.
I said, hey, you think Owen wants to go to
the super Bowl with me? And his first response was no.
I couldn't even find some wanna go with me, but
in the end we did. It was a great time.
I would do it again. I'll tell you what to
go to Los Angeles. That would be a little bit
further stretch. The tickets are one thing, but then you

(01:49:09):
got flights, Then you got hotels, you've got ground transportation. Jeff,
Jeff's a motor mouth. Maybe that's where your nephew didn't go.
I'm kidding, Jeff, Jeff, maybe that's why he's a baller.
Sales Jeff, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Hey, it's me, your
uncle Jeff. You want to go the game? Oh no,

(01:49:31):
not uncle Jeff. Uncle Jeff never stops talking. I'm kidding, Jeff.
We love you for calling. Appreciate. Let's get to the update.
Save me. The classic sports stoppelganger is Glenn Rice and
Tony Gwyn. Let me that it's shocking, Tony shocking. But

(01:49:53):
we do have some activity here in the second half
Green Bay. You know they were down at the halftime break,
not so much gift to Jones cuts. It ends up
touchs down off left tackle Paren Jones, and the game
is tired at seven down and the extra point would
make it a yes. No, I'm just more interested in

(01:50:15):
Glenn Rice. And then I'm telling you Tony Quinn, I
never thought of that one. Oh my god, it's it's frightening.
Do you know what else is frightening? Making a mistake
against Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Ender Center, takes fake the
hand off, boot legs right, stops, throws back left penles Man.
It is show time to the fig the touchdown green Bay.

(01:50:35):
The calls from the Packers radio network as green Bay
now leads thirty to play in the third quarter of
this contest. Now on at the NBA hard when we
have a pair of games, first Portland hosting Minnesota, but
it's the Timberwolves with a sixty fifty six advantage to
play in the third quarter, Karl Anthony Towns twenty one points,

(01:50:58):
ten of rebounds in that contest, and the Lakers hosting
the Orlando Magic. They are in the second quarter and
it is Orlando fifty seven fifteen seconds to play in
the first half. The Magic getting it done thanks to
Cole Anthony which twelve points, another eleven for Terrence Ross.

(01:51:19):
And that is what is going on as we sent
it back. It's Cavino and Rich here on NFL Sunday
Week fourteen. Hey thanks Ralph, Hey Ralph, isn't it crazy
to think that this game was fourteen Chicago and we
were like, oh, is it upset special? And then Aaron
Rodgers and the Pack have outscored them twenty one three cents.
Aaron Rodgers, you know, went and stole the title of

(01:51:40):
the Bears, as he says, he owns them. He owns them.
You mean Ellen Degenerous right now? Oh no, that's that
Aaron Rodgers. They do look alike. I think they look
like By the way, um, you brought up some NBA action,
What do you think about Shack saying that he's rooting
for Steph Carry in the Golden State Warriors now because
they're more exciting and they're not just some five team
like I like his honesty. Yeah, yeah, they're more exciting.

(01:52:04):
Who you know, you launch a boring team and can't
get it together. I like his take. And he's back
in the Warriors now. He said, sort of sneak this
pretty much saying that the Lakers to people really even
want to watch them play? Who yeah, he said they've
been underperforming. Wants to see a thirteen and thirteen team

(01:52:24):
struggle and and play a boring game. The Lakers have
been massively underperforming. They're sitting at they were sitting at
thirteen and thirteen at the time, and he's and he's saying, Hey,
I'm Shaquille and Neil, I don't have to light to
anybody this team anymore. Clay Thompson is going to come
back soon. That's the crazy part. Like it's it's not
like they're playing bad, they're playing bad in their stars

(01:52:47):
on his way back. That's it could be a good thing.
It could be a bad thing, but it's more likely
going to be a great thing. You know, Bobo, Shame
on me and shame on maybe you two and I
know millions of possible people listening to Fox Sports Radio.
When the Warriors had an off year because of injuries,
there was like a sense of like, well, I guess

(01:53:08):
that run was done. Like Steph Curry is still Steph Curry.
And they built they then they started to go youth.
They built young around him, and now Clay's coming back,
and like what was I thinking? I feel like I
was like everyone else. I was like, wow, that was
a fun run for Steff. No, we that's what we thought,
and man, were we wrong? Horribly wrong? They are twenty

(01:53:29):
one and five and they're missing a key component and
people are talking about the Lakers who were sitting at
five doing nothing. I think as a Faker fan, honestly
have to say I was a realist when it came
to the season and was not expecting a lot. I
have my expectations low just so if we did happen
to do something, I was like, yay, look we made

(01:53:50):
the second round. But the way that they're playing now,
it's like we win a game, we lose a game,
we win to we lose ones. They don't know who
are what they are, and everybody, oh, well we're still
U said none, and the reason is not back. Okay,
that's two players that are kind of not that exciting.
I saw people photo shopping this week after all the

(01:54:10):
Shaquille and you know stuff. You know, when they wear
the jerseys, I say, los Lakers. If you photo shop,
the l a K out of Lakers, just as losers.
So if you take away the l a K out
of Lakers, it is the Lows. Yes, losers, the los
Lakers losers. No, it's it's bad. And speaking of doppelgangers,

(01:54:34):
to wrap it up. Anyone see Klay Thompson, the everything
he looks like be real of Cypress Hill at school.
We do, y'all school, we do. You throw a bucket
hat on him? He could be be real Cypers Hill.
We could see that a little bit. It's the real one,
you know, the funky feel one. You know, I'm the
real one. I feel like he looks like him a
little bit with that goat, with the goate. So yeah,
they're only gonna get better. Though. With so many teams

(01:54:57):
making the NBA playoffs, it really just I mean, is
it the most prominent sport of get just get into
the playoffs? Because the Lakers are built on is part
of me that that thinks that's sort of how they're thinking.
The Lakers are built on getting there. So it's almost

(01:55:18):
like I almost feel like because not it used to
be too many teams, eight from the east, eight from
the west. Again, you're building lazy habits. It's eight from
the east, eight from the west. And then they did
they expanded where it's like now you have the two
other teams do a play in and which makes you
think you just can't be the worst. So the Lakers

(01:55:39):
float by. There'll be a little over five d and
is there a possibility they turn it on when it matters?
I don't know. I think by then, I think you'll
be able to compete with it. A fun younger team
like Phoenix or Golden State, who is going to be
even more explosive, I don't think so. Yeah, then what
does Lebron anymore than a five hundred? Is he a

(01:56:03):
five hundred NBA player like he is he? Now? Is
he the star player of a five hundred team? Anthony
Davis that they're too they have too many names to
be to be fourteen and thirteen And that's not bad.
Can we know it's over five hundred? But still for
what you think, right, I mean what you're paying for sure?
So thank you Ralph, Thank you, Bobo, Thank you Danny G.

(01:56:24):
You know what I having you guys for hanging out
with us. You know what I haven't done. I haven't
talked much about the forty nine or so. I want
to break down the NFC a little bit coming up,
Um before you get out of here, some NFC what's
happening next week? You on the edge of your seat though, Man,
you're biting you nails watching that game. Yeah, you know what,
it's I agree and disagree with with our boy Ralph,

(01:56:46):
who always has great insight. I love working with Ralph
Evan he I think he's He's the as far as
news updates guy, I don't think there's a guy with
more insight. Ralph said to me, you said that about
Steve the Singer last week. I was lying to Steve,
I'm ing I love Steve too, um, but saying how
all the He was saying, how all these quarterbacks are?
You know, had big leads and the defense sort of

(01:57:09):
let the other teams get back in and it makes
it look like the quarterback is the problem, you know,
Dak Tom Brady, Baker, Mayfield, Jimmy g all these guys
had big leads and they just went away. But what
do you mean, g I watched that game closely as
you can imagine being a nine er, and I just
feel like there's times where they'll have a lead, and

(01:57:30):
this is not the first time they did it. To
Seattle last weekend lost they let teams sneak back in,
Like I don't know if Kyle Kyle Shanahan, I don't
know if he changes it up or gets a little
more conservative or Jimmy g is playing like with no urgency.
But you'll see like the forty will come out in
a third quarter and do nothing, and then it's like
the other teams sort of catching up. It happens consistently,

(01:57:53):
So we'll talk a little NFC before we get out
of here. Next on Comino and Rich. Getting up this
morning to watch these games. As excited as I was,
was a bit of a struggle. I was struggling. I
was struggling because, you know, sipping back on Grandpa's coughs.
Here up last night at a holiday party with these

(01:58:14):
guys Rich and spots Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio,
Bobo and Danny g are here. Thank you guys for
hanging with us. We're at Coveno and rich An ninety
nine on Fox. And of course, if you missed anything
tonight Fox Sports Radio dot Com. I think I'm gonna
quit drinking. I never heard that before. Yeah, just like
that diet, you're gonna be on right, quit drinking? What though?

(01:58:37):
I don't know that's a good question. Maybe it's Caprice sons.
So you thought I met alcohol. He's moving off from
truly exactly. So anyway, I missed Loma Chenko. He won
over call me yesterday. He wanted a big unanimous decisions
in a loweight division. It's huge. Now you know you're
not have this decision. He's back, Chenos back. Charles olivera

(01:58:58):
beat Dustin Pooria after poor beat McGregor twice. You remember that,
right OLIVERA one turn route submission UFC two sixty nine
Sugar Showan O'Malley had a big fight. He looked good.
And Julianna Painia over Amanda Nuniaz for the bantam title.
Big upset last night. I was surprised that Uni has lost.
I was like wow, and then, uh, you know, eventually
I did wake up today and I enjoyed You're niners Rich,

(01:59:21):
even though they kept me on the edge of my
seat too. I didn't know if I wanted them to
win or lose, because sometimes when they lose, it's great radio.
I'm glad you feel that way. Uh, let's go to Robin,
who's chiming in on competing un Rich. Hi, Robin, Hi,
mama's first time caller. I'm a little shake so excuse
for how I shall I calling from the bank. It's

(01:59:43):
just specifically and yeah, and the Warriors are um, I'm
not like most war yourself seventy five. I still think
they have a lot of room for growth. But let's
look at the NBA. The n b A is full
of mediocracy and the only exciting thing going is the
showman ships. Steph Curry himself not only last this year,

(02:00:07):
but last year too, even though they were such barely
five hundred. I mean, he carried the entire ere b A.
They are beating this record to death, to the point
that it was getting on my nerves. Okay. Now, the
reason why I really called in was I got to
look alikes for you. Who do you got? Okay? Trade

(02:00:27):
Gun looks like l de Barge Okay, Okay, that's really funny. Yeah,
hold on, hold on, guys. C J. McCollum looks like
squid Works, okay, And I forgot to be um point guard.

(02:00:48):
He takes for the spurs. Oh my god, he's retired now.
He looked like Bulky on perfect. You know, you know,
you know we've said that for you. Don't be ridiculous.
Those are all great ridiculous. He looks like Balky Baracamos Balky.
And speaking of her warriors, a lot of people say

(02:01:10):
her boy dreamond Green looks like a cartoon character is
kind of rude. So I'm ye, I don't care. A
lot of people say that thanks for the call, we
appreciate you, you know. Um she's right though about and
by the way, she said she's been a Warriors fancin
seventy five. Who so tur In Danny Tanner from Full
House the only two Warriors to until the last five

(02:01:31):
to ten years. Um, out West, here's a good one.
Because tomorrow night, could you know Arizona Rams and Los
Angeles Rams and the Cardinals? Who do you think is
gonna win this one? Tomorrow night? I ask you, because
you've been on You've been saying that I give the
Arizona Cardinals such a little credit all year going Cardinals,

(02:01:54):
I do. That's what I believe. There'll be eleven and two,
best record in the league by like by two games,
eight and five. Yeah, as a tomorrow what do I know?
You know what if I'm wrong next week, I'll do
push ups for you guys. Okay, I'm taking accountability unlike
other people I know. Well, I can't wait to see

(02:02:15):
how they last four weeks unfold. Do you have the hiccups?
What was the last time we have the hiccuffs. They
have to scare someone there, Ah, got you no. The
next four weeks, usually you look at the schedule on again.
I'm I'm guilty of being there, like the number one
schedule watcher. But usually it's like, well, you'll see a

(02:02:36):
few things in week seventeen or eighteen unfold, like this
team could make it, or this team can make I
think we're gonna come down for the last few weeks.
Like I'm telling you, there's only about five to tend.
There's only like five or six teams that are completely
out of it. Everyone else is still possibly in the mix.
So if you're a football fan this might be one
of your favorite seasons ever because nothing's automatic, which is fun.

(02:03:00):
Wars eliminated. Well, love that. We'll see you guys next week.
Until then, are we been there to y
