I'm Isaac lowan crown. What a title? Are you ready? Darkness?
The Prince of Darkness, The Prints of Darkness is in

(01:07):
the House of Jonas Knocks. The story is Jonas Knock.
This well, big God. Like I said, Jonas Knocks is
coming through your speakers like the right cross from a
boxer that you've never heard of. What's going on here
and now, live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Here's

(01:28):
Jonas Knocks. You're really going through with this, Hunt Cheese.
I mean, we are witnessing one of the great disasters
in all of sports in a very long time. We

(01:50):
will get into all the latest coming up here in
just a couple of moments from now, Jonas Knocks Fox
Sports Radio. You can hang out with us as always
on the Heart Radio app. You can find us on
hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates and wherever you are
making us a part of your Saturday, Welcome in. We
appreciate you hanging out with us here. We're gonna take
you all the way up until noon Eastern time, nine

(02:14):
o'clock Pacific here on Fox Sports Radio. Gotta talk some football.
We got a double header, some double barrel action in
the NFL coming up later on tonight, but we must
start off with the biggest disaster going in the NFL
and in the world of sports today, and it is
the Saga of Antonio Brown. I mean, now here's here's

(02:39):
the thing. You gotta be careful because there's there's people
out there that are very serious and they should be
about the mental health aspect of Antonio Brown and what's
going on there and he needs help and so on
and so forth, and all of that is right, and
all of that is fair, all that is true, all
that that is a good thing. People definitely need to

(03:00):
be aware of it. I don't have time for that.
I gotta be honest with you. I don't have time.
The guy either wants to get help or he doesn't
want to get help. And at some point you either
can help yourself or not. And anybody who's ever dealt
with somebody who's got problems or issues, you can lend
a hand, you can call, you can be of service.
But if they're not ready to be of service of themselves,

(03:21):
then then there's nothing you can do. There's not much
you can do. You hope, you pray, whatever, whatever you're into,
that's fine. But when it comes to Antonio Brown, I
don't listen. There's nothing I can do. All I can
do is sit back and watch. And the week that
was for Antonio Brown is one of the most fascinating

(03:41):
things I have ever seen. What a disaster. I mean,
where where do you want to start? I mean, do
you want to start right off the top rope with
a flying elbow drop and just say, well, what about
the fact that he uh broke COVID pro to calls
reportedly and brought in some woman to his hotel room

(04:03):
who's famous for licking a toilet seat to try and
intentionally get COVID. I mean you're like, like, where do
you want to start? I mean, it's like a grab
bag of fun. I mean, just close your eyes, reach
into the bag, and whatever you pull out, it's a winner.
Don't worry. This isn't Halloween. We're not trick or treating
and you're gonna pull out, you know, one of those
like like candy corn or or some crumby snack like that.

(04:25):
You're not. You're not reaching in and and pulling out
a pay day Like I once went trick or treating
and somebody was handing out slim fast bars. I swear
to God on that this isn't any of that. These
are all winners. Everything you reach into the bag for
is a winner, through and through. Now there's a lot
of people that are speaking on behalf of Antonio Brown.

(04:47):
There's a lot of people out there that are talking
for Antonio Brown. There's a lot of people out there
that are trying to make sense of what is happening
with Antonio Brown. Whether they want to do it in
a comedic aspect. Uh when when you know, like what
happened with the woman and all the other things that
come along with it, and by the way, she was
on with Carton and Roberts, Uh, phenomenal job. Those guys

(05:07):
do hard hitting an interview with those guys, or you
can take the serious approach. And there's a lot of
people that are taking the serious approach when it comes
to Antonio Brown. A lot of people are speaking for
and about Antonio Brown. But what about A by himself?
Because A B pops up on the Full Send podcast
on Friday and had this to say in particular about

(05:32):
his contract and a little bit about his guy Tom Brady.
So let's not lose the purpose of my importance and
what my role is and all of this and how
they get treated me his way. Let's no one need
no one, but they needed me at a point when
they needed to do what exactly when I got to
the team who let the team in receptions on the

(05:54):
back end at a year coming in as a third
receiver Antonio Brown. So people not saying that, So why
am I playing for the same Why am I playing
for a proven deal? If it was about money? Do
you think I would have stayed in the game on
a bad ankle? Could I have a moment of silence
for Antonio Brown, one of the greatest football players all time?
Thank you. I'm just a diehard Brady. Listen, man, this

(06:16):
is what it is. It's not about being a fan,
is about being a realistic humanity, a human. That's what
it's about. Bro, a Brady fan. Brady can't do by so,
but you guys gonna make it seem like he's just
his horror guy. Bro. We're all humans, Bro. We are
depending on somebody else to do the job. It's like
the show show you depending on the video team, the

(06:37):
audio team, you you, you kind of people to set
this up like he's all right. I don't know Antonio Brown.
I never met the guy. Maybe he's a sweetheart, you know.
I've got questions, all right, I I would question that
at times. I don't know anything about him. The only

(06:59):
thing that I know, and I look, there's been conversations.
He even alluded to it at one point during the
interview CTE all the other stuff. Listen again, I don't
know any of that stuff, and I don't have time
for it. I gotta be honest with you. So I'm
not going to sit here and speak to his mental
health or his well being or or whatever else is
going on. All I can say is this, without ever

(07:21):
meeting Antonio Brown, wants talking with him once and just
seeing somebody from the outside. I am confident in saying this.
His lack of self awareness is at least in the
top two on the planet. Gotta be. I mean, it's
gotta be like we could we can have the the
amount Rushmore debates, if we want to, we can have that. Well,

(07:44):
who's all I know is this you want to you
want to paint it an amount Rushmore picture. Give Antonio
Brown at least two of the heads on the side
of the mountain in the mount Rushmore of least self
awareness in sports and maybe of all time. I'm like,
I mean, dude, why do you think you're on a
prove it deal? Why do you think you have a

(08:06):
contract like that? He even said, He's like, well, you know,
if if Brady is such a good friend of mine,
then then why am I to prove a deal? I
don't know. Where do you want to start? Quitting on
the Steelers? Uh? Blowing it with the Raiders when you
had thirty million guaranteed after you nearly burnt your feet
off in the cryotherapy chamber, Like I mean, I like,

(08:30):
what are you Encino man? You don't read the label
before you hop in there and say you know that
maybe this is a bad idea. You just think you
could laid a block of ice and some in some
house in the valley, and then all of a sudden
you wake up because of an earthquake and then like,
I mean, what are we? What's happening here? Like? Why
am I to prove a deal? I don't know? I

(08:52):
mean maybe the fact that you reportedly throw furniture out
of a hotel a balcony, off a balcony and nearly
hit a kid. I don't know, I mean, akid, where
do you want to start? You threw a tantrum about
the helmet. I mean you, uh, you you didn't like
what was happening with the Raiders, so you called Uh,

(09:14):
Mike Mayock, I think I think he called him a
racist at one But like, I mean, where do you
want to start? Like you're you're on the contract because
of all of it, everything that happened since your time
in Pittsburgh that led to this. I mean, he shouldn't
be We should be talking about having a conversation. Who's

(09:39):
currently playing that's going to be a Hall of Famer
And there's a shortlist, you know, the obvious ones, Brady Rogers,
Mahomes like, there's the obvious ones. But who's playing right
now in the NFL that's a surefire Hall of famer?
Antonio Brown's on that list. That's what we should be
talking about. He he's got to prove a deal because

(10:02):
they're telling you, hey, you got to prove to us,
which is the point of approve a deal that you're
not gonna throw furniture out of a balcony, that you're
not gonna go on Snap Face Live or whatever it is,
and and and you know, talk poorly about the mother
of your kids, and then assault a moving van driver

(10:23):
and then not pay your chef, and then break COVID
protocols to bring in some woman who licks toilet seats like,
what do you what do you mean? Like the lack
of self awareness is fascinating, and on top of all
of it, it's hilarious, Like we we can be serious

(10:44):
about this, or we could find the smile behind all
of it. And I'm trying to find the smile behind
the lack of awareness it is. They should do a
study on that. Forget about whatever studies you want to
do on Antoni, Like, let's just do a study on
the lack of self of awareness. And then he buries
Tom Brady. He buries Brady in the interview when Brady's

(11:08):
the guy who went to bad form multiple times, he's
the reason he brought him to New England. You think
Belichick wanted to deal with that. Belichick's like, nah, man,
listen what we'll get. We'll get Okay, fine, fine, Tom
will give it a chance. We know you think he's
a great player. I think he's a great player. Let's
bring him in. They can bring him in for one game.

(11:28):
He barely knows the offense. He's got four catches, one
of them a touchdown, and you're off and running. And
then what happens, Yeah, there's a report about you know,
some misconduct with a trainer or or a female assistant,
and and Belichick's like, dude, we got enough problems this year.

(11:48):
I don't want to deal with this, and Brady was piste.
Then Brady lets him stay in his house, right, And look,
it's not like you, right, and somebody stays in our house.
If somebody stay in my house, I mean, like you know,
they're hanging out of the bathtub. I mean, there's no
room in here but Brady's house. He's got a mansion
all that he Brady lets him stay at his house,

(12:10):
is has his back every step of the way. Bruce
arians doesn't want anything to do with him because he
dealt with him in Pittsburgh. And Brady convinces them, Hey,
I know we've got Mike Evans, I know we've got
Chris Godwin. I know we've got all these other weapons
around it, Gronk, all these I know all of it.
But let's bring an a B And they bring in

(12:33):
Antonio Brown because Brady sold them on it. And then
he gets into this season, everything's kind of okay. He's
dealing with the injury, and then the fake vax card
comes out, which, by the way, this whole thing, uh,
and Antonio Brown leaving the field. What a waste of
a fake vax card? I mean, if you're gonna make

(12:54):
one of those, like, dude, at least take advantage of it.
You know. It's I mean, it's like having a fake
I D. Like who gets a fake I D and
then never uses it? Like, hey, man, what are you
gonna do with that fake I D? I don't know, Uh,
you know, put it on the end of a stick
and scratch my back, Like, come on, man, Like what
a waste of time? Like, don't don't waste time. Somebody
put a lot of work into that art and then

(13:14):
you're just gonna toss it to the side and then
walk out in the middle of a game. Brady's sold
them the entire step of the way. Hey, bring him in,
Antonio Brown, We're okay right now, the fake vACC thing happens,
the Bucks have his back. Then he rips the media afterwards,
which should have been the tell tale sign that this

(13:37):
thing was going to go off the rails, because there
was indicators. There's been indicators every step of the way
in Pittsburgh. There were problems in practice before he finally
walked out with the Raiders. There was problems behind the
scenes before they finally cut ties with New England. There
was rumors behind the scenes before they finally had to bail.
And then this year he gets Piste off post game

(14:00):
when he comes back from the suspension, starts laying into
the media. That was the telltale sign we were going
off the rails. So through all of it, Brady has
had his back and then he buries him on the
podcast on Friday. The lack of self awareness from Antonio
Brown is mind boggling, fascinating, impressive, and above all else, hilarious.

(14:26):
I think that this whole thing is gonna take more
twists and turns and depending on where he ends up,
whether it's USFLUH, the XFL, the NFL, who the hell knows, uh,
you know, in a celebrity boxing match, who the hell knows.
But we are all going to witness the full blown
disaster and the wild ride that is Antonio Brown. Jonas Knox,

(14:48):
Fox Sports Radio, get me on Twitter at the Jonas
Knox at the Jonas Knox that you can hang out
with us as always on the I Heart Radio app.
Coming up next, there is a a situation in the NFL,
all right, So there's close competition for um just absolute
diaper fires in the league and somebody all of a

(15:10):
sudden is making a late push for the title. We'll
tell you who that team is next year on FS
are bearing You This song stinks, Jonas knocks Fox Sports
Radio shut up. You can listen to the show on
the I Heart Radio app. By the way, if you
listen to the podcast right now. I don't even know

(15:31):
what song this is, but it's an atrocious um uh,
let's go live two our I know what song this
is because I played the song Insider Iowa Sam for
the latest Sam Well you're talking about to prove it
deals in Antonio Browns. I'm playing a little up prove
it all night by the boss of course you are. Yeah,

(15:52):
that's uh, he is Mr Topical. I always Sam with
us here, right singer, Yeah, Isaac Loan on here. So
we'll be hearing from everybody here throughout the course of
the show, just just the hooligans that make up the
Fox Sports Radio staff here on a Saturday, as we
get ready for a double barrel action in the NFL.

(16:13):
UM Now, let's get into by the way, coming up,
we are going to talk about have another edition of
do you care in the in the world of sports.
So there's been some things that have gone on that
don't make a whole hell of a lot of sense.
We're going to have some fun and wax poetically and
make fun of all that. But let's get into um, now,
there's a race going. Now. You don't understand what this

(16:34):
race is, all right, but there's a race for who's
the biggest diaper fire in the NFL. Right now. A
lot of people are gonna sit here in week eighteen
and they're gonna tell you about, oh, well, you know
what about like all these records that could be broken,
and like all these players that are on the brink

(16:54):
of like setting history in the NFL. And it's like, okay,
I mean, like, you know, we are aware that some
of those are legit it because guys missed time, but
a lot of them you get an extra game to
play with, you know, Like it's just it's it's not
quite the same, all right, But I mean, people get
people gonna have that discussion. They can go over the
playoff seedings if they want to. And trust me, I've

(17:14):
tried to look into the playoff seatings and then I realized,
you know what, doesn't work on radio telling a bunch
of numbers. I get like, nobody wants to hear that,
Like you can go read a box score. So I've
never been one of these people that likes to sit
there and read a box score and tell you like, oh,
by these are unless it's something that's just a crazy

(17:35):
statistic that you can get in and out of pretty
quickly and make it simple. That's one thing. But nobody
wants to hear a bunch of numbers on the radio.
So I went through all the playoffs scenarios, all the seatings,
the situations, what could happen. I got halfway through and realized, well,
this is terrible radio. I'm done, so I'll wait to
see what the playoff matchups are gonna be. I just

(17:56):
I I don't have the patience. You don't want to
hear it, So so we're good. You just move on
from all that. People can you can hear those discussions
or go read about those somewhere else if you want to.
All that is fine. Just make sure you have this
show on in the background so we get the ratings.
But like there's you know, people are gonna have these
discussions about what's really up for grabs here, let me
tell you what's up for grabs for sure. Who's the

(18:20):
biggest diaper fire in the NFL? Now, Um, the leader
is the Jacksonville Jaguars, right they are the leader right now, because, um,
you know, when your fans are so disenchanted with the
franchise that they're going to show up to Week eighteen

(18:40):
dressed as clowns. Okay, we're gonna have a clown out
in Jacksonville at the stadium with the swimming pools in
the top deck. I mean when that's happening in week eighteen,
I mean, bravo. Uh stand and applause, and everybody take
note of the clown show. Literally that is is the

(19:00):
Jacksonville Jaguars. And I just have a follow up question
to the situation in Jacksonville. Where is the loser, the
full blown zero who thought he was gonna be funny
guy who jumped in with the rest of the rest
of the crowd because it was let's everybody bear urban
Meyer and let's let's pick on urban Meyer because we

(19:21):
went on Twitter, uh and dork book and we looked
around and said, oh, who's getting picked on? I want
likes and retweets, I'll go ahead and pile on Urban
Meyer and some full fledged five alarm loser goes into
the press conference when Darryl Bevil is announced as the
interim coach and says, I don't know if you know

(19:41):
this or not, but you've got an opportunity to have
more wins as an interim coach than Urban had a
head coach. Where's that zero at? Where's the loser who
asked the question, how's that going? Buddy? Just just wondering,
how's that situation in Jacksonville going? You got fans showing
up dressed as Doink and Dink the clown to an

(20:04):
NFL game, because what an awful franchise you are. But listen,
it's Urban Myer's fault, everybody. Once we get rid of
Urban Meyer, we are all good. Here. You are a
diaper fire and hands down the biggest diaper fire in
the league. But you do have some competition, all right.
That's that's the good thing. Competition is important. You need competition.

(20:28):
Competition brings out the best in all of us. I
would say, it's like you think you're running fast, have
somebody a couple of steps ahead of you. All of
a sudden, your pace picks up right, you know, think
your car can't go that fast? Have somebody burned past
you on the freeway when you're in a pissie mood.
Next thing you know, you're you're pedal to the metal.
All of a sudden, you're in the eighties and nineties.
I don't recommend it, not a good idea, but you know,

(20:52):
competition creates and sometimes brings out the best of us.
You have got competition for the biggest diaper fire in
the NFL, and that competition goes to the Chicago Bears.
So congratulations, Jacksonville. Chicago is giving you a run for
your money. Here's a story from a guy who actually

(21:15):
did appear on the on my show. Uh here just
a couple of years ago, actually last year, a little
over a year ago. The great Olan Crutz, former NFL center,
a longtime player with the Bears, multiple time Pro Bowler,
All Pro uh you know, arguably a Hall of Famer,
one of the great offensive lineman in his time. You

(21:37):
asked LaVar Arrington, who I do a show with here
at Fox Sports Radio, who's the best center you ever
played against? Without missing a beat, says Olan Crutz. I
mean the guy was a savage. It has turned into
a phenomenal broadcaster and does a lot of work covering
the Bears because he played there for so long. And um,
Olan Creutz was on uh the Score in Chicago and

(22:00):
he said when they asked him, like, what sort of
role if they offered you a role within the organization, Um,
what would it be? And Olin Cruz said that they
offered him a job to help out with the offensive
line a couple of years ago. That would have paid
fifteen dollars an hour. Okay, Uh, this is an NFL

(22:22):
team who offered a borderline Hall of famer, one of
the great players in the history of their franchise. You know,
one of the top tier offensive lineman in the history
of their franchise. They offered him fifteen dollars an hour
to come help out with the offensive line. He said, Yeah,
that's the way they do business. Those are the things

(22:43):
that have to change. Fifteen dollars an hour now, last
last I checked, um, minimum wage and a lot of
places is up to fifteen dollars an hour. Last I checked,
all right, that that is in a lot of places.
I've heard that. Yeah, minimum wage is up to fifteen
dollars an hour. Now I can recall when minimum wage

(23:04):
was under five dollars an hour. Uh my, you know,
first job I ever had was I was a janitor
in an elementary school. A true story. I needed money,
we didn't have money. Mom said, get a job. I said,
what about an allowance? She said, kiss my ass and said, okay,
I'll go. I'll go work and and be a help out,

(23:24):
be a janitor at a school. And I was a
janitor at a school and I made like under five
dollars an hour. Alright, like like I remember those days.
So this is an NFL team, at one of the
most valuable NFL teams, in one of the biggest cities
and biggest markets in the country, and they're offering one
of their great players in the history of the franchise

(23:46):
fifteen bucks an hour to help out the offensive line
that ought to tell you everything you need to know.
And here's the here's the other part about all this
is now we moved forward to present day, all right
after after old and Cruz tells the story, here's the
other part of all this. There are rumblings the way
the Matten naggy stuff in Chicago has been handled. Is

(24:07):
I can't. I'm actually rooting for Matt Naggie to keep
his job now, like I've now come from Hey, this
guy is not always cracked up to be. There are
stories behind the scenes about matten Naggie in the way
he handled several things throughout the course of his tenure
in Chicago despite his winning record. Uh that, I'm like, dude,
I hope he keeps his job because of how many

(24:28):
different rumors and reports of matten Naggie is going to
be fired in season we've heard and he has sat
there and he's answered all the questions, and he's taken
all the heat, and he's been buried by everybody, and
it's like he understands that his funeral is coming and
he's got to sit there and respond to every question.

(24:50):
When they try and throw it out there that it's
after this game. There was a report that if it
gets bad enough on Thanksgiving and they lose to the Lions,
Matt Naggie has already been told he's gone on Friday. False.
There was another report that said, man, if it goes
bad enough against the Green Bay Packers in a primetime game,
matten Naggie has done False. Then there was well you know,

(25:13):
Matten Naggie has already been told that he's going to
be All of it is false, all of it it's
not true. And he sat there and he's worn it
for weeks. So I give him credit, and I actually
hope he sticks around. Now there's conversation that Ryan Pace,
the general manager. All right, this is a report from

(25:34):
Brad Biggs, who covers the Bears in Chicago, has been
covering them for a long time, that there's some feelings
around the NFL. Then not only will Ryan Pace, the
general manager who was whipped multiple times in the first
round of the draft, overplayed players that haven't delivered, made
bizarre draft day decisions and trades that nobody can figure out,

(25:57):
there's conversations around the league, Then not only will Ryan
Pace not be fired, He's gonna be promoted to president
of football Operations. The hell's going on here? Like, what
is happening? So Matt Naggie, who with the roster that

(26:19):
you have provided him, is gonna walk away from Chicago
with a winning record and only one losing season, a
couple of playoff bursts, one of them a division title
against Aaron Rodgers in that NFC North. So that guy
who did all of that with what you provided, he's
on the hot seat. But the guy that provided it

(26:40):
is not on the hot seat. How's it happen? Imagine
rolling into a restaurant later today and you're like, you
know what, man, I missed taco Tuesday. I think I'm
gonna get after it a little bit. It's my cheat day.
I want some carbs. You know what I want? I
want a burrito, but I want to wet burrito. I'm

(27:01):
talking about the sauce on top, a little bit of
the rice, the beans on the side, and I'll knock
down a nice logger on the side of it. Ice
cold and one of those white goblets. It looks like
one of those a wine glasses from Game of Thrones,
but it's you know, it's got like nice and frosty,
and it's like you can see, uh, like the ice
come to the top. It rises to the top because

(27:22):
the beer is actually warmer than the than the glass
that it's in, but they're both so icy that the
beer and the ice floats up to the top. My
brother called it the jellyfish effect. It looks like a
jellyfish rising to the top of the beer. And here
where the foam is at at the top, and you're
sitting there and you're getting ready to dive into this
nice burrito. You've had some chips and salt, so you've
earned this, You've eaten good. It's the start of the

(27:44):
new year. And right as you cut into it, you've
noticed that something's a little off and you look and
there's a sewer rattan side who's getting canned. The waiter
who delivered it, or the cook in the back who
wrapped it up. Ryan Pace wrapped up a sewer rat,
served it. Matt Naggie delivered it to the table, and

(28:08):
the owner comes in and says, hey, Naggy, you're gone
because you took it there. Hey, sewer rap guy, guess
what You're gonna go ahead and you're gonna get a promotion.
I'm gonna make you head of kitchen staff. You're gonna
be the kitchen manager. It doesn't make sense. None of
it makes sense. And that's the conversation in Chicago. He's

(28:28):
getting promoted. None of it makes sense. So if you're
a Jacksonville Jaguars fan and you are currently putting on
your clown costume and you were shopping around for the
best rubber nose in the city of Jacksonville, and you're
gonna show up there and you're gonna show Shot Khan
and the rest of that disaster franchise. What a joke
they are as an NFL team. Just know somewhere in

(28:51):
the Midwest there's this team called the Bears who not
only offers great players and great alumni fifteen dollars now
or to coach on the staff, but they also promote
guys who are most responsible for where they are at
as a franchise. Phenomenal job, the Diaper Fire Award in
the NFL, and two teams. It's a two team race

(29:14):
and we get to see it all play out over
the next twenty four hours. Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio,
get me on Twitter. At the Jonas Knocks. At the
Jonas Knocks, we're gonna have another edition of Do You Care?
Right now? Though, we turn it over to the great,
to the powerful. Hands together, unless you are driving, make
some noise for Isaac Loan Crown. Okay, good effort there,

(29:36):
good effort. Maybe maybe try just one more time, only
this time you know, with with enthusiasm. I think think
Meg Ryan in when Harry met Sally. Oh, Ladies and gentlemen,
Isaac Loancron Jonas. I mean just straight to the point.

(30:00):
Is that what you want? I mean is that what? Look?
Listen I do okay, ladies and gentlemen, Isaac long Crime.
Have you even seen when Harry met Sally? No? I
haven't seen that. Is that like an adult film? Do
you even know what I've what's seen I'm referring to?
Is that the one where she like fakes yes, yes,

(30:21):
you want me to do that on on the air.
It was just a suggestion. It was just a suggestion. Um,
you know, there's no way that I could do that
and keep it clean. Okay, So so I think it's
better for everybody involved. But I would recommend that everybody
makes some noise for the great, talented, powerful, and wonderful,
a man who leaves no stone in turn when it

(30:43):
comes to his national updates. You hear him. He does
NFL play by play, college basketball, pregame, post game. There
is nothing this man touches that doesn't turn into gold.
It's Isaac spacebar Loan Crown that better. See. That's precisely

(31:11):
what I was looking for, and you delivered. Why do
you underestimate yourself. Now listen to you know, I do
like the the royal music there is that like the
old King of the Ring w w ah, Let's let's
go live to our I know what The name of
that tune was Insider Iowa Sam. For the latest it

(31:31):
is merely labeled Trumpet fantaire uh, speaking of lack of
self self awareness? Who needs Antonio Brown when you have
me Isaac lowan crown. We start, of course, in the NBA,
where Sham's Tranti reports along with Anthony Slater. The Golden
State Warriors five time All Star guard Clay Thompson is

(31:52):
expected to return to action on Sunday at the Chase
Center against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Thompson, of course, has missed
the last two full seas, first because of a torn
a c l and then because of a torn achilles.
Final clearance and the official announcement expected sometime today on
the floor. On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated
the Atlanta Hawks one thirty four to one eighteen. Lebron

(32:13):
James thirty two points, eight rebounds, nine assists. Malik Monk
made seven three pointers scored twenty nine points. The Chicago
Bulls won their ninth in a row. Zach Lavin scored
twenty seven in a one thirty to one twenty two
triumph over the Washington Wizards. The Philadelphia seventy Sixers made
it six wins in a row. They beat the San
Antonio Spurs one nineteen. What you're talking about, you've convinced me.

(32:38):
Joel Embat thirty one points, twelve rebounds, seven assists, his
sixth straight thirty point game. Fred van Vleet had the
first triple double of his career thirty seven points, ten rebounds,
ten assists as the Raptors defeated Utah one twenty two
to one oh eight at one point. Van Vleet scored
fifteen consecutive points in the third quarter, and finally, the

(32:58):
Cleveland Cavaliers want in Portlands one fourteen to one on one,
matching their win total from all of last year. It
was their twenty second victory Cleveland. As Jonas would put it,
perhaps a diaper fire no more. Back to you, by
the way, where this diaper fire term come from? You know,
everybody uses dumpster fire, and it's like, how many people

(33:20):
have actually seen a dumpster fire, Probably more than have
seen a diaper fire open, But diaper is more relatable
because you know, like you've changed diapers before. I'm assuming
unless you know you're one of these uh you know,
uppity apps that doesn't want to get their hands dirty.
I could teach a class. I could teach a class.

(33:41):
There is I don't want to get I don't want
to get too into the weeds here. But but the
key to all of this is not technique. It's simply
do not inhale. Back to you, Jonas very good. That is?
That is good? Uh more from Isaac will also break
down other things you should not inhale coming up an
hour or three with a program, so make sure you
stick for that. Uh like we're we're all gonna get canned.

(34:03):
I think Escala, this show is off the rails. Hurry,
But what about this diaper fire term? Though? I mean,
I don't know. I just like everybody who's using dumpster fire,
and it's like it's just like it's so old dumpster fire,
dumpster fire, like I just thought, you know, I mean,
use a d everybody's seen a diaper before. We've all
worn a diaper. Let's go live to our diaper insider.
Iwa Sam for the latest Sam, you know what, I've

(34:25):
been using the term grease fire. Uh, and I know
other people have, but we've a lot of us have
worked in kitchens and delis and restaurants and we've seen
a grease fire here and there. So it's a good term.
I mean, like, you know, it's like but I mean,
you know, everybody knows what bigfoot is and there's like
four people that have seen it. You know, it's like, yeah,
so diaper fire. Let's so, let's get it trend except

(34:45):
hashtag hashtag diaper fire. All right, Um, Jonas Knocks here
Fox Sports Radio, get me on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks.
Coming up next, We're gonna have another didition to Do
You Care. And there's a story in the NFL. Look,
I get it, a lot of people are correct in
this story. You gotta move on. It's time to move on.
I know people don't want to, but it is time
to move on. We'll happen for you right here on

(35:05):
fs ARE. He's my Carmen, I'm Dan Buyer. Do. We
have a brand new fantasy football podcast called I Want
Your Flex. Twice a week every Tuesday and Friday, we
come up with new episodes to not only look back
at what happened, what you need to do at that minute,
and also look ahead of what's coming up in the
fantasy football world. That's right, Dan. Every week we're gonna

(35:26):
scour the waiver wire to find the pickups to turbo
boost your fantasy lineup, sits, starts, fantasy football players rankings
to get you ready to dominate the competition. Listen to
I Want Your Flex with Mike Carmen and meet Dan
Buyer on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast and
wherever you get your podcasts. Again, Uh, you're a tool.

(35:50):
Just say a full blowed tool. IOWA say, have yes,
very appropriate. We were talking about diaper fires. So of course,
who is this uh Johnny Joel or whatever his name
is whatever, come on, Billy's brother. I don't know to

(36:13):
tell you. I think all right, Jonas Knox, Fox Sports
Radio coming up top of X hour a little over
ten minutes from now. We are going to get into Uh,
there are opportunities around the league right now. You can
get paid, you can make money. There are opportunities around
the league to make money. Some of these feel like
they're stealing. So we will get into all of that

(36:35):
four year as we head into a busy week eighteen
in the NFL here on Fox Sports Radio. By the way,
one of the lines in that I think that song
is about JFK. There's a new Uh, there's a new
documentary from Oliver Stone on the JFK assassination and cover up.
Oh it's phenomenal, man. There's some stuff that went on

(37:00):
with all that that is just so egregious that you know,
it's it's pretty impressed not to cut into do you
care here, but have you heard the latest news about
how like h Lee Harvey Oswald. Maybe I've met up
with some international such and such, some some Russians. Perhaps
that's development that was unearth an archived a few weeks ago. Oh, yeah,

(37:21):
it is. Uh, I've met up with them with with
them in Mexico for like a couple of months before
the assassination. Yeah, there's uh, it's just the the amount
of evidence is so overwhelming that something ft up happened.
There wasn't just one guy. It's just yeah, it's uh,

(37:42):
you know, but you know, we can have that that
conversation podcast. Yeah, yeah, we'll do that all right right now, though,
it is time for something we do on the show
every single week, and it's called this. There's so many
stories in the world of sports, and most of them
are a complete waste of time. DMZ reports, let's get kinky.
Here's some of the big stories from the last week.

(38:04):
But Jonas, the real question is do you care? And
for that we turn it over to Ryan Burshing, our
executive producer, to find out what the hell is going on.
Bursh m v P voter hub Arkish said he will
not vote Aaron Rodgers for m VP because he's a
jerk and a bad person. Jonas, do you care? Uh? Yeah,
I did at the time, because it just goes to

(38:27):
show you that there are agendas when it comes to
all this. Because people feel very strongly about Aaron Rodgers
as a person, even though they've never met him, they've
never had any sort of interaction with him. They just
think he's a jerk because he feels one way or
believes one thing. They don't believe. But welcome to the
sign of the times. But it's like hub ark Ish
was drug for or dragged or I don't even know

(38:48):
it's drugged or but whatever. Who cares, but you know
they're dragging him in the streets on social media and
just ruining the guy and and tearing him apart, and
it's like, you made a mistake. You gotta move on,
all right. He he didn't. He didn't get a d uy. Uh.
He didn't pull out a knife at a Walmart because
they were at a one ply toilet paper. He made
a mistake. He was critical with some guy. Uh, he

(39:10):
got let his emotions get the best of them. You know,
you gotta move on, man. I know people want to
hold onto these grudges and these takes forever and ever.
You gotta move on. Stuff happens next. Up next, the
first TALLI of the NBA All Star Fan Vote was released.
Clay Thompson his fourth for guards in the Western Conference,
despite the fact that hasn't played a minute this season.
Carmelo Anthony is eighth for the Western Conference front court. Jonas,

(39:33):
Do you care about all this? No, I don't listen. Look,
I I don't know what to tell the NBA, And
I know people want to get upset about this and
then they're gonna get really offended by it. But like
I mean, listen, Christmas used to be your day. And
whenever the NFL wants it'll go in and just take
it from you like it did this year. So I don't,
you know, I don't think anybody's really you know, hot

(39:56):
and bothered by the NBA fan vote. I don't think
fans should be allowed to vote because there are there
are too many fanboys out there. But here we are. Next,
Alex Rodriguez and Michael Ka will host a baseball version
of the Manning Cast for ESPN this season. Do you care? No,
I don't, and I didn't care about the Manning Cast.
I have no interest in seeing uh, you know, Eli

(40:16):
Manning uh in a in a pair of Kmart Britannia
jeans doing the hip thrust that Dak Prescott does, pregame
in front of this golf simulator. It's not my thing. Next,
MLB insider Ken Rosenthal lost his job with the MLB
Network after reportedly Rob Manfred took exception to Rosenthal's criticism
of Manford prior to the season, Jonas, do you care? Yeah,

(40:39):
I do. It's just Rob Manford really wanted to put
his foot down. Meanwhile, the Houston Astros were walking around
with the World Series rings because they had they had
buzzing devices on their torsos. Didn't know which pitch was coming.
It's just that that's amazing. Next. Uh, The newest season

(41:00):
up The Bachelor began last week with former Missouri tight
end Clayton Etcherd as The Bachelor. Do you care? Jonas?
Who cares about this crap? Like? I can't believe this
is still on the air, Like, hasn't this jumped the shark?
Move on? Next? Taco Bell is certainly currently selling wings
until January twelve. And I will tell you, Jonas, They're

(41:21):
actually good. Do you care? No? Are you serious? You
went to Taco Bell for wings? I have them last night.
I had to try it. They're actually good. That's like
going to Jiffy lou for sushi. Like, what's the what
are you doing? Bursch? Come on? Fox Sports Radio has
the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all

(41:43):
of our shows at Fox Sports Radio dot com and
within the I Heart Radio app search f s R
to listen live. So there are some money making opportunities
in the NFL. We're gonna get to all of them
coming up here in just a couple of moments from now.
In fact, some of them I find a little bit surprising.
Jonas Knox, Fox Sports Radio. You can hang out with

(42:05):
us as always on the I Heart Radio app. You
can find us on hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates
and wherever you are making us a part of your Saturday,
we appreciate you doing so. We're gonna have some fun
for the rest of the hour, taking you all the
way up until new and Eastern time nine am Pacific
right here on Fox Sports Radio. Already getting some rave

(42:26):
reviews of the show thus far, people are very big
fans of the program, and we must first start with
the celebrity portion of the reviews. Um My Guy, Rick Hamada,
my buddy, and Hawaii. Uh. You hear him not only
on the blowtorch Fox Sports nine, but he's like one
of the living legends in broadcasting and radio. Uh, and

(42:48):
he is listening. He's also a Chicago Bears fan. Uh.
He agreed with my sentiment that the Bears are one
of the biggest diaper fires in the league. With the
situation going on, Olden Crues being offered fifth teen dollars
an hour to help coach the offensive line. A couple
of years ago per Ol and Cruits uh, the legendary
offensive lineman of the Chicago Bears, and then Ryan Pace

(43:09):
the general manager. There's a report out that not only
will he not be fired, he's going to get promoted
for the job that he has done there, which I
will say this there there's there could be something to
the Ryan Pace getting promoted and let me just throw
this out there, pure speculation. There has been some rumblings

(43:31):
that Sean Payton may be done in New Orleans. Al Right,
So there's there's been some rumblings that Sean Payton might
be done because they look at it and go, dude,
Drew Brees is gone. The quarterback situation is in flux.
Jamis Winston was on a one year deal. He you know,
who knows if he's going to come back. And maybe
this has sort of reached its conclusion and it's not

(43:53):
just you know, one of these crazy theories or thoughts
that are out there. There are credible NFL reporters who
have said, yeah, there's a thought that maybe the Saints
and Sean Payton would move on that naturally, it's just
time to move apart. Well, Sean Payton is an Illinois guy, right,
Sean Payton's a Chicago guy. Sean Payton's a former Chicago Bear.

(44:14):
During the strike season, he was a quarterback on the
Bear's roster, so he's got ties there. Ryan Pace worked
with Sean Payton in New Orleans. So my thinking on
it is this, and this is the only reason why
it could make sense of the move. Maybe they're repositioning

(44:35):
Ryan Pace because of his close relationship with Sean Payton
and they either know a that that will help them
try and convince Sean Payton or the Saints or whatever
to to you know, part ways and come to Chicago,
or be they've already got something done behind the scenes.
And part of the plan for Sean Payton to want

(44:56):
to take the gig was if he to if he
told the chic Tago Bears or through representation a I'd
like to come there, but I want to know that
my guy, Ryan Pace, who I worked with the New
Orleans is also going to be there and gonna be uh,
you know, putting a position to where we can have,
you know, work on this thing together and try and
build this thing together. That's That's just I'm throwing it

(45:18):
out there, trying to make sense of the situation. But
you know, it could be wishful thinking for Bears fans,
but you know that is you know, one thought amongst
all of them. We've also got some other people that
have chimed in, um you know, some people that are
you know, very very big fans of the program thus far.
In the the first hour, which is flown by um,
you know, guy writes in on Twitter and says, um

(45:41):
at Antonio Brown's Twitter account, a B eighty four. Uh,
this cracker ass mouth breathing bleep Jonas Knox needs to
be the next bleep wad you have to check like
the rest of these bleeps. So apparently, uh, he's uh,
you know, trying to wrap me out to Antonio Brown.

(46:01):
Sam and I'm talking trash about Antonio Brown. If anything,
I was very complimentary of Antonio Brown. The guy's the
least self aware athlete maybe in the history of the league,
I mean, and I think it's improves Listen, Steve, you know,
I mean Steve Hartman knows, I mean, like one of
the the least self aware of people in the history

(46:23):
of the NFL. So I think that is, you know,
if anything like there there are awards that are handed out,
you know, from time to time. Maybe there's an award
that that would be applicable, applicable to all that but
you know, I mean, who knows. Another guy writes in um,
your vaccine media woke preaching bleep ass can jump into
four oh five traffic if you think bleeps like you

(46:46):
and hubb arc is A're gonna ban Rogers from the
super Bowl in l A for being unvaccinated. So Brian
wrote that in UM, I like, I have defended Aaron Rodgers,
so I'm not even I'm not even certain what the
hell he's talking. I've defended Aaron Rodgers, so I'm not

(47:07):
I'm not sure, But I mean jumping into four or
five traffic. I mean pick a time of day. There's
always traffic on the four or five, So I guess
we can knock that out at some point after the
show or any point during the weekend. Um, you know,
So so there is that. Let's go live to aur.
I have a thought on how to jump into four
or five traffic. Insider Isaac long Crop for the ladist.
Here here's the thing, though, as you would definitely agree with,

(47:30):
the traffic is so bad on the four oh five,
literally at all hours of the day, that even if
you took this gentleman up on his offer and did
jump into four or five traffic. You'd be fine because
all the cars would be stopped, you would be in
no danger. That's a good point that it really is
a good point. You just be pushed along, Jonas, you
just be nudged by each car going yes. So maybe

(47:54):
you know, him saying that and tweeting that out is
him one wishing for my say d to be able
to do this show again next week. That's looking at
the glass half full. Jon You know me and Mr Positivity,
you know, I mean, listen, like every story we've touched
on so far has a positive spin to it. I mean,
that's what we do here, Isaac. Like people they get

(48:15):
sports radio is negative. Not on this show. All we
do is talk about positive stuff. You know. Damn right
it is positivity. Better believe it. By the way. Stick around.
Later in the hour, I'll tell you about a quarterback
who's butchered his chance of getting a contract extension. So
as we continue with the positive theme here, Um, all right,

(48:36):
you can get me on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks
if you want to have more fun with that. We've
got another guy in. Uh guy writes In says the
NBA doesn't care that the NFL plays on Christmas. Y yeah, yeah, sure, okay, right,
things went so smooth ratings wise for the NBA on Christmas.
Sure you got it. I'd bean like, just there's a

(48:57):
part in No Country for old men, were what do
you here? Elson's sitting there and Anton Sugar, uh is
standing or sitting across from him, and he's got that
you know, that gun, that silencer rifle that's like one
of the great guns in movie history. And Woody Harrison's
terrified because he knows, uh, you know, Anton Sugar is
gonna you know, blow a hole right through him. And uh,

(49:20):
He's just sitting there, very nervous, and Sugar just says,
you should admit your situation. Just admit it to yourself.
Just admitted. If you're the NBA and you're one of
these fanboys who gets upset when people say that the
NFL dwarfs your league, just admit your situation. It's it's
what it is. The NFL will walk into your backyard

(49:41):
or into your home and take what it wants. Oh,
Christmas is your big day. We're taking it. And they did, like,
I don't have to tell you, so you can cry
about it all you want. You can bitch and complain,
but facts or facts, and you need to admit your situation,
all right, So let's let's get into this. As we

(50:01):
continue on with the positive conversation here on Sportstock Radio,
there are some some opportunities to make some money, right,
and some of these are pretty fascinating. There are these
awards that are out. We've got a week left, and
so with a week left in the NFL, you do
have a pretty good idea who's at least in the
conversation for some of these awards and and who it

(50:23):
comes down to. And so there are categories that are
up and you can make money on these. You can
go to a sports book in Vegas or find you know,
well whatever app you're working, but whatever. But there are
lines and there are odds that are up for some
of these awards in the NFL. With a week left
and and basically a day left for a lot of guys,
uh and a lot of players and coaches around the league,

(50:45):
and a couple of them are fascinating. So let's just
go to right off the stuff. Right off, the top
offensive player of the Year. It's a two man race.
It's Cooper Cup and it's Jonathan Taylor and they're both
dead even so, who is the Offensive Player of the
Year Now, my thought on it is it's going to

(51:07):
be Cooper Cup. And the reason why it's gonna be
Cooper Cup not that I agree that Cooper Cup should
be I think it should be Jonathan Taylor, but I
think Cup is gonna get the award because they've been
pushing the RAMS narrative all year and a lot of
this stuff is narrative based. They've been pushing the RAMS
narrative all year. How many weeks was Matt Stafford up

(51:31):
for m v P and how many interceptions and bad
games did he have to have before people said, yeah,
maybe that one just doesn't make sense. You know, we're
trying real hard to make the case. Maybe that one
doesn't make sense. I mean, like, how long for weeks
Matt Stafford he's in the MVP conversation? Well, he shouldn't be.

(51:52):
I don't want to tell you he shouldn't be. But
there's been a narrative surrounding the team, and that's where
we're at. And so with the RAMS, feels like there's
a narrative surrounding that team, and Cooper Cup is a
part of the RAMS. He's had a phenomenal year, outstanding,
and I feel like this one's gonna end up going
to Cooper Cup. Although I would vote Jonathan Taylor for

(52:14):
Offensive Player of the Year, Cooper Cup is going to
be the guy a defensive player of the Year. Um listen,
and of course we know m vps are rap. Sorry,
hubbark Ish, you know m vps are rap. It's gonna
be Aaron Rodgers a defensive Player of the Year. T
J Watt with that performance on Ben's Swan Song and
hines Field, that's over overwhelming. Odds have shifted from Michael

(52:35):
Parsons over to t J Watt. I was pushing for Parsons.
Once I saw t J wat on Monday Night Football,
I said, well that's a wrap. There goes that, uh
Parsons will win Defensive Rookie the Year. It's not even
worth I mean, I think you've got a bet like
uh two point five million uh to win a stick
of gum at this point when it comes to Michael
Parsons and a Rookie of the Year on the defensive side,

(52:56):
Offensive Rookie of the Year is also interesting. We've been
here in Matt Jones, Mac Jones, Matt like constantly, Matt Jones,
he's going to be the offensive Rookie the year. Jamaar
Chase in a matter of days has completely overtaken Mac Jones.
And so you've got Jamaar Chase, who's well over a

(53:16):
two to one favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year,
especially after what he did last week in one of
the games of the year against Kansas City. Jamar Chase
feels like a slam dunk if you're still a little
frisky and you want to bet on Mac Jones because
you think there's an opportunity and he's a quarterback and
this is a quarterback award if you want to look
at it like that, Mac Jones is sitting there at

(53:37):
a plus one eight five hundred wins five. So there
is that one of the There's two more let that
that I think are really interesting. Comeback Player of the Year, right,
Dak Prescott has been built up as the comeback player
of the Year for a long time. I mean, like
it is, well, you know, if he just comes back

(53:57):
and plays somewhat well, Dak Prescott, it's going to be
the guy. I mean, if he just comes back from
that injury and plays well, He's going to be the guy,
and you look and you go, well, who else would
fit that criteria? Are like like, like, who else would
fit the criteria of Comeback Player the Year? If we're

(54:17):
looking at Dak Prescott, like coming off an injury, played
pretty good football, and his team won a division and
went to the postseason, who else would be in that conversation?
And to me, it's not even a question Joe Burrows
the comeback Player of the Year. It's all the same

(54:38):
conversation that we've heard about Dak Prescott devastating injury, leads
his team to the playoffs and wins a division, and
I would argue has had a better year than Dak
Prescott from a number standpoint, and as of a couple
of days ago, Dak Prescott was a two one favorite

(55:00):
to do it, And now we're seeing money come in
on Joe Burrow. I think Joe Burrow is a live
dog here. I think Joe Burrow absolutely should be Comeback
Player of the Year because the same exact conversation and
reasoning behind Dak Prescott winning the award should be applied
to Joe Burrow. And I think Joe Burrows had a
better season and based on where they were a year

(55:23):
ago and the year before that, and all the issues
they've had as an organization. To me, Joe Burrows the guy.
And then when it comes to a coach of the
year again, Belichick was was in the lead. Everyone was
talking about Belichick. He's the guy, He's going to be
the coach of the year. He has slipped, he has
fallen back of the pack. Mike Rabels ahead of him.

(55:43):
But there are two guys that are now at the top.
And these odds have also changed because I think people
have realized, well, that doesn't make much sense. Matt Lafleur
and Zach Taylor are tied or actually Zach Taylor is
now a slight favorite to be Coach of the Year,
and I think he should be. I think Zach Taylor
is the coach of the year. Look no offense to

(56:04):
Matt Laflour, but when you've got Aaron Rodgers, it kind
of like, I mean, you know, not that Matt Lafleur
is not a great coach. He is, but I mean
Aaron Rodgers covers up a lot of flaws that maybe
there that we don't see. And so Matt Laflour and
his first couple of years in the NFL as a

(56:25):
coach have been tremendous. But I think people look at
that and go, well, yeah, I mean, but that's that's
you know, Aaron Rodgers has had a lot to do
with that, and and look, I don't know. I'm not
trying to pretend I know x as and os and
be a coach. And we'll leave that to former athletes.
And in anybody that does my job that's never played
in the NFL that tries to talk x as and knows,
I would just turn him off, to be honest with you,

(56:45):
like they don't even like it's not even worth your time.
But when it comes to Matt la Flour, I see
him hyping up the crowd more than I see him,
you know, constructing a brilliant play. I don't know. I
just I look at this and I go, where was
Cincinnati a year ago? And where was green Bay a
year ago? Green Bay is the same exact team. Cincinnati

(57:08):
has taken a dramatic turn just one a division. To me,
this is Zach Taylor's award. I'm happy to see that
the money is coming in towards Zach Taylor. But you
can still make money on it's a plus one seventy five.
So I feel like Joe Burrow, Zach Taylor, those two
coexisting in this type of season for Cincinnati, they should
not only be Coach of the Year, but comeback Player

(57:29):
of the Year. I think it's a slam dunk for both.
But Dak Prescott is still the favorite for Comeback Player
of the Year. All right, Jonas Knox, Fox Sports Radio,
get me on Twitter at the Jonas Knox coming up next.
There's a player in the NFL that's completely butchered at
his opportunity to make some coin. We'll get into all
of it for you right here on fs ARE. Jonas Knox,
Fox Sports Radio. Coming up later on this hour, we

(57:50):
are gonna have another edition of Knox Locks. It's been
a very successful venture for Knox Locks this season, a
winning season already in the bag. So we're going to
do make some picks in the NFL, and who knows,
maybe the National Championship Game will pop up in this
edition of Knox Locks. You never know. We'll have that
for here coming up later on this hour here on

(58:10):
fs ARE, we do have some some double barrel action
in the NFL. We got the Chiefs, and we got
the Broncos, we got Dallas and Philly coming up later
on tonight. Um the situation in Kansas City Denver, in
particular with Denver, that seems like a franchise and a
team that's gonna look a lot different come this time

(58:33):
next year because they are, without a doubt going to
be in the quarterback race. As far as one of
these teams trying to land one of these big name quarterbacks,
whether it's you know, Aaron Rodgers who reportedly they were
close to getting a deal done before the draft, that
Denver is definitely a team he would consider wanting to
play for. And look, there's a lot of talent there.

(58:53):
The defense is there Vic Fangio like he's probably gonna
get canned, but Vic Fangio, for what he's had to
work with offensively at the quarterback position, has done a
pretty good job. I mean the defense is pretty solid.
And you know they're they're in a division with you know,
kse and and and the Chargers and even the Raiders,

(59:14):
and Derek Carr has played good football this year at times,
Like you look at that situation in that division, Denver
needs a quarterback, Like you're dealing with Mahomes and you're
dealing with Justin Herbert for the next ten twelve years.
You need a quarterback. And so the idea that Vic
Fangio is gonna be ousted, then they're gonna move in
a different direction. And Brady Quinn threw this out as

(59:35):
a possibility that you know, Nathaniel Hackett uh the o
C with the Green Bay Packers. What if there's a
package deal that you bring him in with Aaron Rodgers
and you start this thing over in Denver. And and
by the way, if that happens, I don't want to
hear a Denver Bronco fan bitch ever again, under any

(59:56):
circumstance about anything ever again. You're out. You are not
allowed to bitch, all right. There's a certain section in
the club that is the bitch and moans section. The
Denver Broncos will not be allowed on that side of
the club because you're gonna end up with three of
the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, and
you didn't draft any of them, Elway, Manning, Rogers. If

(01:00:24):
it happens, you ended up with three of the greatest
quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. On the shortlist
of great quarterbacks ever, and you didn't draft any of them,
none of them. Rogers was a trade, Peyton Manning was
a signing, and John Elway refused to play for Baltimore

(01:00:47):
after they drafted him and threatened to go play for
the Yankees, and that's how he ended up in Denver. So,
if the Broncos end up with Aaron Rodgers, it's over.
You are not allowed to bitch, You're not allowed to complain,
You're not allowed to cry about anything moving forward. I
don't want to hear about a bad call. I don't
want to hear anything. Well, we're at a mile high
and what is this? No, no, no no, no, I don't

(01:01:08):
want to hear anything. If you end up with Rogers,
it's over. You are not allowed to cry about anything
for the rest of the franchise's history. It's over nothing
ever again. And Denver feels like a team that could
be making that move and and and making a run
at one of these quarterbacks. Also, you know, Russell Wilson
has been thrown out there with Russell Wilson's go to Denver, Listen,

(01:01:30):
I'm not totally positive that Russ doesn't go back to Seattle.
I'm just wondering if there's gonna be a new coach there,
Because if you're Seattle and you're looking at this situation
and you go, Okay, we need to do something, we
need to change something. We can't bring back Russell Wilson

(01:01:53):
and Pete Carroll. So what do you do? Do you
trust the organization and the franchise moving forward with Pete
Carroll and no Russell Wilson, or with Russell Wilson and
no Pete Carroll. Now I leaned towards Pete Carroll is
going to come back and Russell Wilson's gonna be gone,
because I think he wants to go to a bigger market,
whether it's New York or wherever. Who knows. Maybe he

(01:02:15):
wants to go down to New Orleans. But New York
and the Giants seemed like a seemed like a fit.
So I think, if I'm leaning one way, that Russell
Wilson's gonna be gone and Pete Carroll is gonna stay.
But I just wonder how many conversations they've had internally
in Seattle, like, hey man, do we want to walk
from Russ? Were wanta walk from Pete? I mean, both

(01:02:36):
these guys aren't coming back. It's a long shot. I mean,
they can try and tell you we have a great
relationship all you want. I mean, come on, man, like
we don't forget what happened last offseason. You know, your
agent releasing that you wanted to go to what teams
and all these four teams and Russ saying well that's
not true. I never Okay, so your agent went rogue. Like,

(01:02:57):
so your agent did something that you didn't want him
to do. You know what happens, then you should fire him,
but you didn't because you did want that to happen.
You did want him to go out with those reports.
So I don't think both those guys are coming back,
But Denver could be in the conversation for one of
those two quarterbacks. Um, there's you know, been some who
knows what Deshaun Watson. That whole thing is a disaster,

(01:03:19):
Deshaun Watson and the twists and turns of all that.
I mean, what the f So look, there's a lot
that that's gonna change. Denver, though finishing up their season
coming up later on four thirty Eastern time, one thirty Pacific,
does feel like one of these teams that's going to
look vastly different moving forward. And on the Kansas City front.
That game, I know, Kansas City and last week, we

(01:03:41):
can look at it and say, man, the Chiefs lost
to the Bengals, that was a golden opportunity. They could
be the one seat in the a f C. There's
one bye week that's it's the top seat. This is
the one you we can we can do that, and
you can you can be really worried and concerned. I
came away from that game in Cincinnati, do you think
in yeah, it's not that. I mean, that's not a

(01:04:04):
bad loss. I mean you could look look at the
seating all you want. Nobody in the a f C
is scared to go into Tennessee and play the Titans. Nobody.
I know, Derrick Henry is coming back, and I get
all that, but nobody's worried about going into Tennessee to
play the Titans. They're not like Tennessee is gonna end

(01:04:27):
up being the one seed, and they were one, in
my mind, one of the weaker one seeds we've seen
in a while. Like, I don't think anybody in the
a f C should be concerned about having to go
there to try and try and win a game like whoever,
whoever it is. And it's why I think the a
f C playoffs is fascinating, because I think Kansas City

(01:04:47):
is the number of the best team in the a
f C. After that, who the hell knows. I mean,
if something happens to Kansas City, if there's an injury
of you know, they end up getting knocked off. Would
it surprise you if the Chargers went in there and
and beat Tennessee? Would it surprise you if the Colts
went in there, a team that's played them already a

(01:05:07):
couple of times. The Colts go in there and they
beat him, or the Patriots or the Bills or the
bed Like, none of those teams would surprise me. So
I don't think anybody's concerned about having to go to Tennessee.
I came away from last week's game thinking Kansas City loses,
but you know what, I wasn't thrown off by the loss.
I still think they're the top seed, and so we
get to see them finish up their regular season. Coming

(01:05:28):
up later on Jonas Knox Fox Sports Radio, get me
on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks. Coming up next, we're
gonna get into a quarterback that has done nothing but
hurt himself as he heads into a very important offseason.
We'll have that for you right here on fs are
for all the latest stuff from around the world of sports.
Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise. One final time for
the great, for the talented, for the wonderful, Sir Isaac

(01:05:55):
Lohan cron. Yes, I was hoping to keep that sy
apart under wraps, but it was a great honor. What
can I say? I was gonna call you King Isaac,
but somebody probably would be offended by that. I gotta
save that for next week. I suppose Week eighteen of
the NFL kicks off at four thirty eastern the Kansas
City Chiefs visiting the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs the two

(01:06:16):
seed right now in the a f C. They would
need a win and a Tennessee loss to the Texans
tomorrow to clinch the one seed. The Chiefs by the
way of one twelve in a row head to head
against the Broncos. Then tonight at eight fifteen Eastern, the
Eagles host the Cowboys. Datas presently, the four seed in
the NFC could climb as high as the two seed.
The Eagles are the seventh seed, but they could finish
as high as the sixth seed in the NBA. Shalms

(01:06:38):
Tarantia and Anthony Slater report the Golden State Warriors five
time All Star guard Clay Thompson expected to return to
action tomorrow against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Chase Center.
Thompson's missed the last two full seasons, first because of
a torn a c l and then because of a
torn achilles. Final clearance and the official announcement expected sometime today,
and we had two winning streaks extended on the floor

(01:07:00):
in the NBA. On Friday night, Zach Lavine scored twenty
seven as the Bulls made it nine wins in a
row with a one thirty two one two triumph over
the Washington Wizards. Joe lm Bead had his sixth straight
thirty point game as the Sixers won their sixth in
a row, depeating with San Antonio Spurs one nineteen till
one hundred. Jonas saw yours. Thank you, Isaac Jonas Knox

(01:07:24):
Here on Fox Sports Radio, We're gonna have another edition
of Knox Locks coming up later on this hour. Cup
Before we get into this discussion, about a quarterback who
hurt himself this season? Uh, interesting coaching notes that are
out there. Um, there's a report out, according to Jeremy
Fowler of ESPN, that the Carolina Panthers planned to keep

(01:07:45):
Matt Rule for the upcoming season. Why was that even
a discussion? Like? Why why was Matt Rule being fired?
Even on the table? I don't get it, Like, like
what was he provided at quarterback the past couple of years?
You go, man, he's at every opportunity, Like what are
we talking about here? I mean the situation with Teddy

(01:08:05):
Bridgewater a year ago. I mean, like like what Sam
Donald cam Newton, Like what did he what did he
have that you look at and go, man, this guy?
I mean there was plenty of come on, like what's
he got? Like he's got the worst quarterback situation in
the division, competing against New Orleans, who's still a well

(01:08:29):
coached team, even though but New Orleans got a better
quarterback situation than Carolina. Tampa defending Super Bowl champs, even Atlanta.
Matt Ryan like has looked okay at times. I can't
I can't believe the Atlanta Falcons have seven wins. So,
like I look at the Matt rural situation. I go,
what did you expect? What? What is he in the
idea that like, no, no, no, he's on the hot seat.

(01:08:51):
Why it didn't make any sense. So he's gonna be
back according to Jeremy Fowler. And then this um on
the Jim Harbaugh run. Uh uh. That a recruit. So
there's a highly touted recruit who chose Michigan. Four star
wide receiver Darius Clemens. Um chose Michigan over schools like

(01:09:12):
Penn State, USC, Oregon, Auburn. Um. He chose Michigan reportedly
because of the school, not the coach, but his father
told Seven Sports that Jim Harbaugh admitted to them that
he would entertain NFL offers, so when they asked him
about it, he was straight up with them. Um. He

(01:09:33):
talked with their pastor and he asked him, are are
you considering going to the NFL? And Jim Harbaugh said,
you know, I I'm gonna entertain it. I'm definitely gonna
entertain it. So that's that's where the Jim Harbaugh rumors
start to start to heat up a little bit. When
it comes to the Raiders, the Bears have been thrown
out there as well too, because he played for the Bears,

(01:09:55):
and we talked about it last week. If he was
going to leave, now is the time. You finally got
over the hump against Ohio State. You got to a
college football playoff. You're the first coach in the history
of football to go to the NFL Playoffs and the
college football Playoff. Like, you've rebuilt Michigan, You've got him

(01:10:15):
back on the map. Like, if you were going to leave,
it seems like now would be the best time because
there are gonna be opportunities that would appeal to Jim
Harbaugh and and you know, his past former coach on
the staff there with the Raiders years ago, former Chicago Bear, Like,
it does feel like this would be the opportunity to jump.
So there's some validity to those rumors that are out there.

(01:10:36):
All right, Um, I don't know that Baker Mayfield could
have done anything worse two try and ensure a long
term contract with the Cleveland Browns. Then what has happened
this year, And a lot of this is not his fault.
He got hurt and he's legitimately injured, and you know

(01:10:58):
Baker Mayfield, you know, fighting through the injuries and playing
as much as he can, even though he did miss
some time and all the you know, the COVID protocols
and all that, but I mean he was legitimately hurt.
And the way that the season has ended and his
decision to not play this week and not for surgery

(01:11:20):
is a little bit curious because if it were me,
I would think that if you come out after a
game and say I'm a fighter, I'm gonna keep on fighting,
I'm never gonna give up, and then forty eight hours
later you give up on the season and elect to
have surgery, I don't know. Timing of it is a

(01:11:40):
little odd, like why not play one more game? Like
could you really further injure yourself? I mean you've already
been playing. Well, they're eliminated from the playoffs? Do they
were eliminated Monday when they played the Steelers? So why
do you play then? It just it feels odd. The
the whole thing, the whole season has just felt strange,

(01:12:03):
And for a guy who came in talking contract extension,
looking for a contract extension, it's gone about as poorly
as it could have gone. If this, if this is
his contract year with the Browns, now they've you know
he's got more time there. They can always franchise him.
There's all that on the table. But then you get
the stuff and the back and forth with Mary Kay

(01:12:25):
Cabot of Cleveland dot Com, who said that Baker Mayfield
and Stefanski have been not been on the same page,
that Baker Mayfield is not happy with how he's being
used in the offense. If he doesn't get some reassurances,
he's gonna ask to be traded. Baker Mayfield says, it's clickbait.
You're just trying to put food on your table, blah
blah blah, all the other things he did on Twitter.
From my understanding, she's not lying, like her sourcing on

(01:12:51):
it is pretty good that there is some truth to
that article. Now, is every single ounce of it and
bit of it true? You know who knows. But from
my understanding, she didn't just make that up at a
thin air. That's a real thing that things are not
squeaky clean behind the scenes when it comes to Baker
Mayfield and the Browns. So for a guy who was
looking for a contract extension and I like Baker Mayfield,

(01:13:14):
I'm probably higher on Baker Mayfield than a lot of
people are I think he's a good quarterback. You know,
I'd like to see him in Cleveland for an extended
amount of time. But you know, body broke down this year.
Uh he still gets irritated and rubbed the wrong way
by people reporting or having conversations about him on social media.
I don't even know why. Why engage? What does that do? Um?

(01:13:37):
I know you want to defend yourself, but why feel
the need? It just feels like this is gone as
poorly as it could have gone for a guy looking
for a deal and wanting to be in a place
and wanting to sign an extension. I don't know that
this was the ideal season to want to all of
a sudden look around and start playing hardball like it's

(01:13:58):
it's a little strange. It's just it's it's a little odd.
And if the report is true and he's asking, you know,
I need this, I need that, you know, blah blah blah,
I'm gonna get It's like now would not be the time,
based on the year that he's had to want to
go in and start making demands and start making ultimatums.
I mean, you know, it's it's like showing up to

(01:14:19):
work drunk. Getting sent home by your boss. And the
next day you walk in and say, if I don't
get the days I want and the hours, I'm out
of here. Hey man, you still smell like vomit from yesterday.
You're looking you didn't get canned yesterday. What are you
talking to you? You're in no position to walk in
here and make ultimatums. And it feels like that's where

(01:14:40):
Baker mayfields at Jonas Knocks Fox Sports Radio. Get me
on Twitter at the Jonas Knocks. You can hang out
with us on the I Heart Radio app. Coming up next,
we're gonna try and pick some winners Week eighteen Knocks Locks.
It's yours right here on fs are Jonas Knocks Fox
Sports Radio. Make sure you stick around. Coming up in
a little over ten minutes from now, we're gonna have

(01:15:01):
up on game. Always a fun listen. Why did they
get a round of applause? The hell's that? I gotta
be the undercard for the main event for LaVar and
and Plex and t J. Well because they sent Bursch
to Vegas. Yeah, I mean, I don't know what am

(01:15:22):
I supposed to do. I sent Bursch to uh, you know, Toppers.
I mean what do you want from me? Come on, now,
that's a let's a pizza chain in the Ventura County
where Ryan bur Singer and I live. Nobody has any
idea what that is. I do you know why I
referenced it? All right, that's that's a joke that for

(01:15:43):
so wait, so way to uh Bursch. Did we just
alienate nine eight percent of the country there or is that?
But I think that's fine. Whenever talking about Ventura County,
I think people need to know we need to let
them in a little bit. Yeah, it's true. By the way,
the only time Ventura Counties in the news, uh is
what the Cowboys come for a training camp and ox
now or there's there's you know, if Jalen Ramsey is

(01:16:06):
punching a teammate at RAMS practice and Thousand Oaks, there's uh,
there's that. So, um, make sure you stick around up
on games. Gonna be coming up here in about ten
minutes from now. If you missed any of this show,
you can check out the podcast at Fox Sports Radio
dot com. It'll be up shortly. Um, so we will,
we will, you know, make sure we have all that
stuff were you here on fs are right now? Though?

(01:16:28):
It is time. And let me just say this before
we get into this week's picks. Red hot season absolutely fire.
Thirteen and one on the year with my NFL picks,
all right, and now the reason why I'm celebrating it
so much is because it's normally not this good. I'm
normally awful at it. But thirteen and one on the season.

(01:16:51):
We had the Chargers first half last week. I felt
like they were gonna bounce back and want to get
out and really show themselves on you know, based on
that performance added against Houston. So we had Chargers first half.
We also had the Cardinals plus six. To me, it
was way too many points. Dallas. I can't figure them out.
I was high on them going into the season. I
was high on them at about after about six or

(01:17:12):
seven weeks in the season. To me, they're a total
crap shoot. I just didn't like them laying that many
points against Arizona, and you know we did lose. I was,
you know, feeling a little sentimental. I thought, you know,
the over of forty one and Steelers Browns on Monday night,
Ben's final game, I thought he was just gonna slice
and dice Cleveland. It was gonna be vintage bend one
last time, and instead, uh, you know, he had a

(01:17:35):
you know, a yards per completion of like one point two.
So it was like, you know, just not not ideal
for for that for an over under, I missed by
a point. It was at forty one. They finished at
forty nonetheless at two in one week and one on
the year. So now it's time for this no Knocks

(01:18:05):
stet Falcons. Now, for whatever reason, this is gonna have
a Southern field, all right, this entire edition of Knox
Locks is gonna have a Southern field. So we start
in the NFC South. We've got the Saints, We've got
the Falcons. I like Atlanta getting three and a half
points at home against the Saints. Look, I understand that

(01:18:25):
it's New Orleans. They should always be respected. They've got
a great defense. But Atlanta hasn't been that bad. And
Atlanta is one of these teams that has bitten me
in the ass more times than I can count over
the past couple of years. So I figure, if we're
gonna put a bow on the reason edition, Matt Ryan's
gonna come out firing one last time. Atlanta has also

(01:18:45):
got a wind total bet on the line. Seven and
a half was the season win total, so Atlanta sitting
at seven gets it done. I like Atlanta, especially getting
the three and a half points at home. We continue
in the South theme here on Knox Locks. We go
to Tampa Bay, where we've got the Bucks and the Panthers.

(01:19:07):
I'm gonna take the Bucks minus five first half. We
have been money on first half picks. I think this
is all about motivation. Tampa Bay's starters probably aren't gonna
play a significant amount of time. They're really piste off
about what Antonio Brown has said. I think this is
a rallying cry. This is a team with championship pedigree.

(01:19:27):
You've got a b ripping them saying they need him
more than he needs them, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I think
Tom Brady and company comes out firing, wanting to prove
a point against the Carolina team that is finished done.
It's a rap on their season. I think the Buccaneers
come out firing in that first half. I like Tampa
minus five first half. And finally, the National Championship Game

(01:19:52):
is where we're going. I don't need to just keep
it in the NFL. I can go to college football.
If I can get Nick Saban getting points when he's
twenty five and one against former assistants in a big
time game, I'll take it. Give me Alabama plus the
three and the National Championship and that concludes the Week

(01:20:12):
eighteen slash National Championship edition of Knox Locks. So there
it is. Uh, it's been a fun show for Isaac Longkrawn,
Ryan Burr singer and Iowa Sam. I'm Jonas Knocks. Thanks
for hanging out with us here on FS are Jonas
