from t J or Plexico about their bracket and their standings.
H Anyway, for Fox Sports Radio's million million Dollar Bracket Challenge,
(02:36):
it's powered by Indeed and clearly, um, you're probably beating
t J and Plexico in that bracket. So there's that. Um, guys,
Willie Gillis he went to Norfolk State and Elliott Sadler
NASCAR legend that Yeah, you know what I mean that
they're going to talk about some adversity that they've overcome
(02:57):
by being from a small town. That's this week's edition
of Legendary Moment Presents Conversations. Would a let you and
now this is your legendary moment. You guys had to
overcome adversity, and I always say when adversity is present,
(03:25):
you find out what people are truly truly made of.
You guys, talk to me a little bit about what
that mindset represented to you guys during those trying times
and let me know how that plays a part of it.
And you guys today. The good thing about growing up
in Ebori of Virginia, Um, there's not a lot of
office jobs around here, so we grew up working hard.
(03:48):
We grew up not being someone who is not used
to getting your hands dirty. So that adversity piece of
working hard that came easy for me. I would work
in going that was on the football field. When practice
was over, I find a way to go to another
field and work out because they ran us off of
that field. So going through that in life, their heart,
(04:10):
the hard part was not working hard, was just getting
an opportunity. So my my high school coach, at all
a good man in life wants as an opportunity. So
all I always wanted is an opportunity because I would
work myself to because I was just blessed. I was
blessed with two things upside and I was blessed with
a strong arm um. So you know a lot of
times they said you can't teach speed or you can't
(04:32):
teach arm strip um. So when you have it, you
have it. So when those hard times came up, when
my risk was fractipped, I reverted back on some of
the times they're growing up in the party. Things weren't
always good, but we always knew to push through because
that was a better day tomorrow. When I was growing
up in such a small town, is I had people
naysayers when I was nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen years
(04:56):
old with the you don't have to do anything because
of your last name, more because of your dad. I
took that personal. So I was gonna go to college
to play something. I chose basketball, got hurt, went through
that whole deal, and now I'm now I've put all
my eggs into one basket of racing. And when I
got my break, and I got a call from my owner,
(05:17):
Gary Beckel, who drove me down to Charlotte and said,
all right, look, we're gonna take you to Charlotte Speedway
this week and this Tuesday, and if you run a
specific town, it was like a trial. If you run
a specific time, we're gonna race you this weekend in Michigan.
So I drive down that and we're practice in the
testing and I'm working with the team and was able
(05:38):
to run a quick enough time that they took me
to Michigan that weekend. So that's kind of how I
got into racing. It was kind of trial by fire.
I mean, I was under under the gun that I
had to compete. I love this conversation in particular, Fellas,
because if you know sports and you know athletics and
(05:58):
you know, competition, then you understand that that's what life
is truly about, is overcoming adverse moments, overcoming adverse um situations.
You you learn how to cope, you learn how to
adapt into adjust, and I I ultimately enjoy fellas when
you know, you hear accounts of having to to do so,
(06:21):
whether it be coming from a small town, whether it
be dealing with a certain situation. I can recall, you know,
my when when I went to college. You know, the
one thing that that kind of range true with with
recruits is it's always I'll come if I'm going to
start as a freshman. You know, that's like always the
thing go right, if I'm starting, I'm coming, like if
(06:42):
if I'm if I'm not starting and I'm not coming.
And I can recall having those conversations. I had that
conversation with Penn State, like listen, if I'm coming to
Penn State, I need to be starting as as a freshman,
and I want to start as a linebacker. Like I'm
calling my shot. Everybody agreed this down the other no
worries I get up there. They put me out safety, y'all.
(07:02):
They not only had me out of position, but Mike
The color of my practice jersey was that of the
last team. I wasn't on the first Hey, y'all, I
wasn't even on third team when I got there. We
used to have a toast jersey in high school, so
(07:25):
it's that when you got big deep the funding, the
back of the jersey said, I am in the toaster.
So so I had an adverse I had an adverse
situation right out at the gate where something that I
had to I had won my job and in the
off season in high school as a freshman, and and
(07:48):
so I came into the only time I had known
coming into a situation as a freshman was my high
school year at that point, so I figured I could
do the same exact thing, and and it didn't happen
that way. It really really sent me into an emotional
um mental tail spin. And and I mean I had
(08:10):
I'm full candid uh full full like transparency. I had
one of those Cuba Gooden junior moments, you know when
when and boys in the hood, when he was like
come on, start swinging out the air and was crying
and was upset, and and I was like calling home.
I was ready to transfer out and go to a
different school um and and and it was in those
(08:33):
moments where in the most quiet spaces you start to
have moments of of resolve, and and you start to
look at those those diverse situations and you start to
realize that, you know what, instead of being a victim
and complaining about what my circumstances are, I'm gonna gut
up and change my circumstances. I'm gonna figure out a way.
(08:55):
So you know what I started doing. I started that
I played special teams. So what what I would do
was I was going to make it so that every
single time I went down on the field, everybody be like, Wow,
who is that on? On kickoffs? Right? I'm going down.
I was a gunner. I wanted to be the gunner.
I was six three, two d and forty nine pounds
(09:18):
playing gunner in the Big ten. So and if you
guys don't know what gunners are there, the whitest guys
on punts that got they run is usually defensive backs
that that played gunner. Um. I was trying to tear
everything up moving fellas anything that was moving, I was
striking out to to take them up out of here.
And and by the time we got to mid season,
(09:41):
people are like, this dude is out there literally assassinating
guys on the field, and you gotta figure out a
way to play, and they started playing me. I never started.
But one thing that I truly appreciated after I got
through that season was the leadership in the wisdom of
of older players. Aaron Collins started started in front of
(10:03):
me that year, and he was one of the finest
men you could ever meet and was such a great
teacher and mentor to me, and it ultimately led directly
to how well I played moving forward. And so fellas
you know those things. I love when people talk about
(10:24):
overcoming the adversity that that comes their way. Yeah, from
it looked from a different type of adversity. I was.
I was listening to uh to Willie Gillis and he's
from Emporia, Virginia, and when the first thing that stuck
out in my mind what he said was just getting
ran off the field because he was, you know, black
(10:46):
man growing up in Emporte of Virginia. If you know
anything about Emporia, when you ride through that and you'll
get a better understanding of what that town is like.
And um, you know he was in Norfolk state, and
also did my mother and fall I went to the
Norfolk State. And you're talking about going through adversities dealing
with the race, so you know, the segregations and things
of of him coming up in there, and then you
(11:08):
know there's sixties and seventies and and just one to
have an opportunity to show off is God given ability
to to to be able to go to college and
get there and to show his skill set. And you
know that those are type of adversities that you know
when when you look at those situations, it's more mental
(11:28):
because you know there's not really too many more ways
to fight back and fight back physically. Then then then
then the then the situation continues to grow and and
and and and now you put yourself further behind the
eight ball. So man, so so shout out to him,
man Norfolk State. I have a lot of you know,
great friends who you know who went to the the Norfolk State.
(11:51):
And uh, my high school coach went the Norfolk State.
My father went in the Norfolk State, my mom went
in the Norfolk State. So it's like my son is
a third generation Spartan. It's craziest thing. But yeah, man,
with with a great time if you don't know know
anything about no Virginia actually posted a story on my
Instagram about what the city was like when he was
(12:14):
growing up. Man, it's very interested in touch and so
you'll told check it out, all right. You know, any
time you have to overcome adversity, you come out of
it a better person, because when you're in the midst
of the storm, it's almost as if, man, this is
never going in and if you can get through that,
(12:38):
the strength that it takes emotionally spiritually to make it
through that, you always come out a better person. Always.
But it's easy when we face adversity. It's getting really
hard how much just give up. It's so easy to
(12:59):
give up, so rewarding when you stay in that fight
and get through it. And that's why when you do
encounter adversity, you look back on it. Oh man, I'm
so glad I didn't give up, man, because you see
the strength that you gain from going through that. And
(13:20):
and for me, you don't want to encounter adversity. You
you wanna hope everything runs smoothie, But that's not life,
sports nothing. You're gonna encounter some bumps and roads and
mountain some hills. You gotta clims. Some things you gotta
go through, and when you get through it, you always
a better person because of it. I know that's right. Well,
I'll tell you what. Kyler Murray has been experiencing a
(13:43):
little bit of adversity, says he's a cardinal, dismisses the
Instagram scrubbing. So this is what we're gonna do. We're
gonna take a quick break, and on the other side
of this break, we're gonna talk to some Kyler Murray
later on, we're gonna discuss rumors to Miami. How does
that work? He just came back to Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
(14:05):
But some people are saying Tom Brady could be rumored
to going to uh Miami. Okay, anyway, let you I
let that one sink in, you guys, let that sink in.
We're gonna take a quick break. We wonna be back.
You're listening to Up on games Fox Sports Radio. Yeah,
stay locked in. Welcome back in the up on Game
(14:27):
Plexico burr'st T J. Hush Mensatta. I'm LaVar Arrington. I
hope you guys are enjoying the show. Um, if you
want to enjoy a shave, make sure you do the
Dollar Shaved Club six blade razor. It brings noticable, noticeably
smooth shaves with six stainless steel blades for swift hair
(14:48):
removal and a lubricating strip that keeps staying smooth. Dollar
Shaved Club raisors are sold at Dollar Shaved Club dot
com or in stores. Make sure you check it out,
all right, fellas, Uh, Kyler Murray, he had some some
interesting comments uh this week, and maybe he doesn't need
a Dollar save Um Club razor because well, maybe he's
(15:12):
too young to have a razor. Maybe maybe he hasn't
even started to grow facial here at this point. Now.
While I might sound sarcastic, fellas, I mean, listen to
the reasoning that Kyler Murray used for well scrubbing his
social media No, I'm I'm I'm a Arizona Cardinal. You
(15:32):
know I've done nothing, but you know, give them all
to to the to the Cardinals. I would continue to
do that, so I'm not really too worried about my
future as a Cardinals. Was there a scrubbing of the
Instagram account on purpose? Or was that? How did that happen? No?
That was that was that? Like I said, that was
that was if you're a kid in my age, you know,
like you're used to like people take off all that
(15:53):
like that's just the thing. And honestly, like I said,
there was I took everything off of there besides one picture,
so it wasn't and had nothing to do with the
Cardinals or anything like that. Are y'all about it? No? Man,
he he knows better. But I will say this. These
young kids, they do and they will they think everything
(16:16):
but but but but but but when you're a quarterback
in the National Football League and you dad or even
in college, Oh, what was wrong? Something not wa? Wait
wait wait wait wait what happened to you? What they do?
You know that's coming? That comes with the terrants. You
can't do that. You cannot do that. You know when
(16:37):
you do it, there's going to be questions acts. That's
why you did it. Don't use this. Oh I'm young,
and you know what's coming Because of that. He was
piste off because behind the scenes he wanted a new contract.
They probably told his agent no, it made him mad. Yeah,
you are the Arizona Cardinal. You scrubbed him off your
(17:00):
social media because they pissed you off. Just say that's
what it is and people respect you more from that. Yeah,
they made me mad. You know, things didn't go the way,
but we're all adults. Uh, will move on and work
through this. That's what you should have said. Don't get
come on man, they pished you off, They wouldn't give
your contract, So I took him off my social media.
Was it a bitter mature Yeah? Simple. That has been
(17:23):
a better move, That's what I'm saying. Man. These dudes
got professionals that they pay for this, pay for advice,
and they can't even get it right. I just don't
understand why Colin mary Will asked for a new contract
and he still has three years currently left on his contract.
After the playoff game that he just had was his
mind boggling to me. So I don't know why he
(17:44):
would we would even ask for a contract, you know,
in this situation. But when it comes down to be
a franchise quarterback man, for me, the body of work
tells the whole story. We know that he's a good player,
but are we gonna throw him into the the forty
five million dollars a year Pastrick Mahomes at fifty million
dollars a year, you know, and Aaron Rotters He's done
(18:05):
some great things in his career. Now, I'm not gonna
take that away from I think him and Cam Newton
on the two players in NFL history to to throw
for ten thousand and run for fifteen hundred yards and
twenty touchdowns in the first three seasons, and he's the
only player you have seventy five hundred yards passing, forty
five touchdowns and fifteen touchdown runs in NFL history alone.
(18:26):
But does that make him elite? So I think he
wants that pay day to be recognized as a franchise quarterback,
to be one of those elite guys. And you know,
you look at him, you look at Lamar Jackson, you
look at all these young fellows, you know coming into
these the end of the rookie deals, and uh, you
haven't even heard anything about the whole Lamar Jackson. You
(18:48):
should should you be worried that he's not getting any
contract talks. So for Colin Murray, he just needs to
go out and just play football because that's the only
thing that he can really do. Bay stuff this season
that he had last year. But they started season off
seven eight no or something like that, and then they
end up losing six seven in a row. You call
fool's gold. I did call him foods gold. That's exactly
(19:11):
what happened. They fell off the bridge, and and and
and and and he was put on display and he
was put on wax in the playoff game against the ram.
So so for him, I believe that that's a make
or break year for him if he goes out and
he shows everybody that he can be. You know that
elite quarterback. Didn't listen. The guy's going to get paid,
(19:34):
There's no doubt about it. So there's no need to
rush it. Go out and show us that you're an
elite franchise quarterback. And and just let's let you let
you play, do the talking and you're pay They wle
do the talking. So that's what he needs to worry
about first and foremost. I'm a Caler Murray fan. And
you know we had him in the under armored game. Um,
(19:55):
I believe he could play. Yeah, I'm not taking anything
away from from a matter of fact, I'm not even
addressing it from the football angle. You know how I'm
addressing this. I'm addressing it from from a couple of
different perspectives. Well, one singular angle, but different perspectives. If
(20:15):
if you're wiping, if you're scrubbing your social media clean,
and and that's what you felt was the best reasoning.
That was a miss. That was a miss for the
simple fact that generally speaking, when when these young boys,
these kids, these these referencing scrub their their joints, it's
usually a significant happening that's taking place. They've broken up
with somebody, Um, they just got a scholarship that they accepted, Um,
(20:41):
made their commitment. So now they're moving on from youth
and high school. You know, even these days, even youth
league guys that transition into high school are scrubbing their
social media is clean to start over with what it
is that they're doing at the next level, you don't
see that can return. Have y'all ever seen the content
(21:03):
return once it's been scrubbed off. I've never seen it.
So that led me to my next my next my
next point or my next thought was why did you
put all of the content back up if you were
scrubbing it and starting it over like that was weird?
So so it made you feel like, Okay, I'm mad,
(21:23):
I'm taking it down. And by the way, the photo
because you know, I like to do my little detective word.
You know, I'll be watching forensic files and First forty
eight and all that good stuff when I'll be sitting
at home to myself sometimes. So I started scrubbing through
his his pictures, and the picture that he had up
there when he scrubbed his his account clean isn't there.
(21:46):
And if you were called the picture the picture was,
it was. It was a one picture with three pictures
in it, so you could scroll over and see the pictures,
and it was him at the Pro Bowl. But it
was just it was maybe curious or odd he had
Green Bay Packer coaches with him in two out of
the three pictures. That picture is no longer on on
(22:08):
the It's no longer on the feed, So you gotta
keep in mind. That was I believe before Aaron Rodgers
did his deal. So so I don't know, you know,
call me. I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist here,
but I'm just saying there was something that took place,
and the best thing that he could have did was
(22:30):
just face the music on it, like, yeah, there was
something that took place that upset me. I reacted the
wrong way. You know, it won't happen again. That happens.
It happens, right, it happens. You don't have to you
don't and you know part partial part of the to
me part of the way you heal, you know your relationships,
(22:51):
and you build strong new relationships. It's by being being
brave enough to say I was wrong, being humble enough
to say I was wrong, and I'll do better moving forward.
And I hope that that at some point he starts
to realize, based off of what we're hearing from his
teammates and incredible people in that community, is that he
(23:12):
needs to He really needs to mature a whole lot
more if he's going to take that next step and
take this team. Because you know what Olivar like in
his eyes, If he felt he wasn't wrong, he didn't
have to apologize for being wrong. It's true. He he
just felt he was His feelings were hurt. That's okay,
that's not your feelings are your feelings. He wasn't wrong
(23:34):
for doing what he did. Did you just your feelings
just got hurt because they didn't want to get you
a deal. That's okay. You screwed him off your social media,
so apologize for being wrong. That's how you felt. We cool,
Let's move forward. M hmm, all right, well let's move forward. Then, Hey,
Isaac Low and Crown, you feel like giving us a
nice little trending there, I'd be glad you because it's
(23:56):
been such a busy day. In the NFL, guys, the
Kansas City Chiefs today signing warmer Tampa Bay Buccaneers running
back Ronald Jones to a one year deal. Multiple atlets
reporting the Philadelphia Eagles signing former Los Angeles Chargers linebacker
Kaizier White to a one year deal. Last season, White
finished eighth in the NFL in both solo tackles and
combined tackles. The New York Jets have signed former Rams
(24:19):
and Cowboys place kicker Greg's Urline. In the NBA, Kyrie
Irving told reporters today he plans to resign with the
Brooklyn Nets this summer, saying, quote, there's no way I
can leave my man seven unquote, referring to Kevin Durant. Presently,
Irving has a player option for next season. In college basketball,
(24:39):
the Daily Memphian reported today that the University of Memphis
and men's basketball head coach Penny Hardaway are facing multiple
n C double A infractions charges, including the school facing
charges of lack of institutional control and failure to monitor
on the court. The Elite eight tips off tonight at
(25:00):
six o nine Eastern time. Leading off it's two seed
Villanelva against five seed Houston. That'll be followed at eight
nine Eastern time by two seed Duke against four seed Arkansas. Fellas,
all yours all right, appreciate that. I lo up. You know.
That's that's that's a lot going on out here, man,
(25:21):
and and and listen. Speaking of things going on, there
has been rumors about Tom Brady going to Miami. Now, Ryan,
can you give us some context on this because it
just sounds it sounds so outrageous that this would be
what it is that's going on that I'm gonna let
(25:42):
you set it up. What we got going on here, man, Well,
what happened was the other day Dale Arnold, who currently
works for any SNU, formerly worked at w e I.
He was the guy who actually broke the news that
Tom Brady was going to Tampa Bay. Originally he was
the first guy on that, and then he came out
um on a w e I and mentioned like, yeah,
(26:05):
he's heard things about Tom Brady and and and the
Dolphins working on something bringing Brady to to to to Miami.
Now since then, plenty of different reporters, uh, notably the
Athletic was was all over saying that now that's not
really a thing, that he's kind of Dale was the
only person saying that, Okay, well, you guys take that.
(26:26):
I mean, sometimes rumors have some type of something to it, fellas,
and I just I find it to be a tap
bit interesting that it would make make it to the
media circuit like it it made it to the light
of day to be discussed and to be covered. And
that always makes me feel like that was on purpose.
I don't know, call me a conspiracy theories. I have
(26:49):
my tem foil hat on yet again, but I just
don't understand why would it Why would it not hit
why would it hit the public if there maybe isn't
a midge of something that could be there. I believe
it had some legs, but it wasn't realistic. Like if
(27:10):
I'm Brady, you you didn't think I would want to
be in Miami right now with the weapons what like? Right?
And and then that would make It's like the NFC
is the majors in the NFCS, the miners. But if
you can go with those weapons that speed, that defense,
if you're Tom Brady, of course you'd be interested. It's
(27:32):
not gonna happen. Now the NFC is weaker. I'm sure
the teams and the quarterbacks and those players in the
NFC that have good teams, they all see a viable
path because it's not as strong as it once was.
But I don't see it happening at all. Really, to
be honest with you, this is to what you gotta
(27:53):
sink or swim, bro I mean, this is it. We're
not throwing you know, life jacket. We're throwing you in
the deep end and uh, let's see if you can swim.
M Yeah, man, I don't. I don't think it's a
real story. But you know, when you hear things about
Tom Birdie the possibility of him joining another team, I
mean you you have to, you know, sit back and
(28:15):
and look at the situation and be like, can this
really happen? I mean it's the goat, so I guess
it's a possibility. And with the actors, uh, the acquisition
of Tyreek Hill and you look at Jalen Waddle Cedric Wilson,
DeVante Parker. I mean him throwing that those guys will
just be something that we probably have never seen before.
(28:37):
But I don't think that he will end up in
the Miami Dolphins. I think he came out and he
said it best. He's gonna go back and join the
Tampa Bay Buccandeers and try to run it back. And
they got some unfinished business and he's gonna try to,
you know, go back and win the Super Bowl. So yeah,
I think honestly that he will end up back in
Tampa Bay. All right, he ends up back into a baby. Uh?
(29:03):
Is it is? It is? It? Is? It hard to
say or it shouldn't be stated that they're still continues
to be speculation around. By hearing something like that, it
just confirms that is there a true buy in two
two Tua. That's what I'm trying to understand. Are you
(29:27):
building this team? Are you acquiring the players that you're
acquiring so that TOA can have an opportunity to win,
or are you acquiring all of this talent and and
making these moves to bring in a guy like uh
Tom Brady or a guy like uh Jimmy Garoppolo. If
(29:48):
you're taking the consideration who the guy is that's coaching
this team. Now he's the guy that came from San Francisco.
I just wonder, are they building this team because they
believe into a Are they building this team based upon
making it available for the next person that's going to
(30:08):
be the quarterback of this football team. That's what I'm thinking.
I'm am I crazy for filling. It's always a little
bit of both. You're building it for what you have.
Now if it doesn't work, somebody can come in and
do something. Jimmy g in Miami, he didn't throw He
doesn't throw the ball down the field, and so I
(30:30):
don't I don't know if that fit tour gets like,
I don't understand the hate that to it gets. Uh.
He was fantastic at Alabama. People forget going into his
rookie year. He's rehabbing a hip injury and so he
couldn't really work on him. He didn't play bad last year.
It was more of a checkdown type of offense store
(30:50):
everything shortened underneath. But that could have been a product
of the system. You watch it Alabama, he was throwing
the ball down the field accurately, and so you get
Tyrek Kill, you get Cedric Wilson, you get Trying Armstead,
you get Chase Admins, you get Rackhee Mostered. It's a
different you resigned Mike Kasecki. Yeah, it's a different offense.
(31:16):
I believe to what's going to succeed. But if he
does not, No, Like, this offense is good for any quarterback.
This offense is good and ready to go for any quarterback.
I don't believe it will be Jimmy g because he's
not a guy that throws the ball down the field.
M hm. Yeah. I'm just looking at all the additions
(31:36):
that they have, and I'm looking at the offense just
like t J said, Listen, I thought I thought to
it was a great long ball through. I thought he
had one of the best deep balls and all the
all the college football in the show. But I have
to agree, man, you can plug any quarterback into this
system with all this speed that they have out there
on the outside, and and and and they're going to
(31:57):
have success. If even if you gotta part quarterback like
Tom Baby, somebody that is less mobile, the guys that
you have, you can throw the ball to these guys
four or five yards and they turned these things and
the touchdowns. So that's the one thing about this offense.
And if you have a more if you have a
mobile quarterback, then that puts more stress on the defense
with the guys that you have on the outside. So
(32:19):
I think that they're building this team, uh with the
best talent that's out there and what they're trying to accomplish. Listen,
I think Tour is going through the same thing what
Baker was going through a few years ago. They think
he's a good enough quarterback. You know what, Let's get
him some weapons. They got him, oh b J. They
got him jars that didn't work out. So he hasn't
(32:41):
had the success that they want him to have. So
you know what, they go get Tyree Hill, they have Sagury,
they have Ja the Wattle. So there will be no
excuses after this, just like Baker. So if he doesn't
go out and perform and maybe take this team to
the playoffs and to compete and to you'll be sitting
on the outside looking at just like So it's gonna
(33:04):
be some window jumpers. It is what it is right now.

Some brother shooting dice. So I said, let's do this
(34:29):
Orange Baby. Yeah yeah yeah. So So if anybody's missed
the show or anything, make sure you go check out
the the podcast up on game podcast. Um, fellas, before
we get up out of here, I just you know
that the rule, uh, the rule hasn't been changed in
(34:52):
terms of of the taunting, um, the NFL no taunting
rule penalties that that seemed to be a little bit
I don't know, from my perspective and my angle, maybe
not as necessary as maybe originally had thought it was
purposed for. But that's just my assumption on it. You know,
(35:15):
they're keeping the rule. I mean, I can understand, you know,
trying to, I guess, keep the game clean in terms
of how post you know, post play, um, you know
actions are. But what what's your guys take on it?
I mean are you are you high on it? Are
you okay with it? Are you indifferent on it? What?
What's your take on it? Me? Personally, I don't like
(35:36):
it because as as we saw last year, it's really
not taunting and sometimes you get a fifteen year penalty
that did and can change the course of a game.
And so football is a sport of emotion, man, Like,
unless it's just completely over the line, I get it.
(36:00):
But if it's not over the line, like, let these
guys play, this is an emotional sport. Like can you
imagine the penalty and the rule being effect when we played,
guys would get thrown out. You wouldn't even get a penalty.
You would get what you and I both like, you
get thrown out the game. And so it's such an
(36:21):
emotional sport. I don't like the rule, but they man
the rules a bunch of Kyle dung Man. Let's just
call it what it is. It's a bunch of manure man.
And listen, you say that's emotional game man, And and
like if anybody if you think you understand the physicality
of of planning the NFL from just watching it from
(36:45):
them from the stands or watching on TV, you have
no idea what it is like the big down on
the une of you'all football field, and what's happening down
and down out with the emotions and the like all
the tests tossed Arne and and and people like trying
to hurt you. So you got to stand up for
yourself at some time. Because even a playing like the Fall, Listen,
(37:07):
if you come around the vall the way, he gonna
let you know, he's gonna try to hit you. So
I've been listen, man, don't come back around here no
more to day. I'm gonna be here all day, all
day long, and right there mentally as a play officer
and player. You know, you know what, man lavarian playing
on games today, Man, but it's a mental thing. Now.
Now you're talking trash and you're getting fifteen yard a penalties.
(37:28):
That's a part of the game that puts a part
of the psyche. Now you're just throwing flags for guys
chomping back and forth. That's not football. And unless it's
a really greedious and disrespectful I get it. But but
but they're going back and forth with the biggery. That's
that's the sport. That's the game that we was raised upon,
and and and then in the physicality of the game.
(37:50):
And listen, if you're a man trying to win and compete, listen,
you gotta say something. I mean what you're gonna let
somebody just let you out fat on your back and
you're just gonna get up, walked to the sideline and
say amen, uh my, mom my, mama. Watching man, you
gotta say something with somebody. I mean, that's kind of
player that I talked. I talked hell of trash. I
(38:13):
was on the I was on the chart with mine,
So I wouldn't even be playing in this generation, in
this league right now for the taunting and and and
and the valk and the test to that. I mean,
it's getting out of control. Let the guys play football.
Let them play and listen. I agree, you can get
an unsportsmanlike conduct by by overdoing it, you know, doing
(38:34):
some some gestures that maybe wouldn't be so acceptable or appealing.
But you know, I don't know. I think you gotta
let guys play and and and live in the moment
and have a good time with what they're doing because ultimately,
at the end of the day, it is still just
a game. I mean, I hate to say it that way,
but it's a game. Let him play anyway. It's been
(38:55):
a great show, guys. Uh, make sure you stay locked
in down in for for the next oh Uh, it's
been a great week, and enjoy your weekend, and you
know t J. Plexico, LaVar Arrington. We're wishing you guys best.
