(00:27):
our pleasure to be here. Thank you for welcoming us
CNR on fs are Cavino and Rich. I'm Steve Covino
from Union, New Jersey. I'm the guy with a very
punchable face that only a mother could love. And your
mom does love you. She's yourn is the greatest. She's
a smother and she loves me. And that's Rich Davis,
the guy who looks like a cheese weenie, always smiling.

(00:50):
Kind of punchable, what do you want me to frown?
And together? Punchable. You're punchable together. You're a Yankees fan.
Add that to the punch ability exactly. We are in
for Doug Leave. Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
Is the number eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
Thank you for hanging out. Thank you for putting up
with us before we get the Clay's Very Weird Day

(01:11):
yesterday and his dad's tweet. I gotta ask you, are
the Yankees at any point this year I'm gonna get
real cold? Or do you think they're gonna win a
hundred and game? When you say Clay's very weird day,
you mean Clay Homes of the Yankees, right, because he's
the number one Clay in town. As far as I'm concerned,
that's how, that's how Yankee, that's how a Yankees fan

(01:33):
would think. They would think that. I say Clay and
not the Clay, the only important one right now, I
don't know the day after the NBA you mean Clays
who just broke Mariano Rivera's record the other day. Come on, man,
don't sleep on clay homes. Plus, he's my homes homes Now,
I'm not talking about Clay homes. But what about that?

(01:55):
You think they're gonna do you think they're gonna crumble? Now?
Is that what you said? I didn't know? Crumbling? Still
cookies crumbling? What are you asking about? Did the Yankees,
who are on pace too probably break the record win
a hundred twenty plus games? Will they get cold or
is this one of those years where man, they win
the d undred and twenty games. I think they're stealing

(02:17):
some of my Mets thunder to be honest, because the
Mets are having a historic year. But the cross team rival,
not rival, but the cross team Yankees, Crosstown Yankees are
doing even better. I don't think they get cold. I don't.
I think they're too strong to go on a really
bad losing streak. They may lose a few here and there.

(02:38):
You know, they lost one to Toronto just the other day,
came back one yesterday. I think you can see a
lot of that throughout the year. I mean, every team
has ups and downs. I just don't see there's going
for that long because their bats are too strong, their
pitching is too good, too many people to step up.
They beat the Raised down in Tampa yesterday. They play
again today. So you think, like the Rays are a
good team. If they if they if they have their

(03:00):
way with every decent team in the a L, maybe
the Thankees could wind and twenty games. By the way,
it says a lot about Monsey and a lot about
rich Davis that Monse roots for the Clippers and you
root for the Mets shows. You guys are loyal and
that you have great characters. So I'm happy to do
the show. What you guys, I don't want to hear
you do you want to hear him sending you're still

(03:22):
in it? I feel so happy for the Angels as well.
Oh shout out to the White Sox fans. Nothing just kidding,
just kidding, So thank you, Jason Ramos Monsey. It's Fox
Sports Radio Cavino and let's let me give you this
tweet from Clay's dad, Clay Thompson's dad. You know, the

(03:45):
Warriors got to send a ring to Minnesota because they
passed on Steph, they passed on Clay, and they traded
Wiggins to Golden States. So yeah, Minnesota should get a
ring too. And you know what that makes me think of,
makes me think about It makes me think that I'm
glad my parents aren't on social media. No, that's the one.

(04:08):
I mean. It's funny, but like, you know, he's gonna
get like backlash. He will a little bit, but it's
just one another NBA title. I think everyone is uh
having fun with Clay's dad. Of course, However, it makes
you wonder does anyone come to mind. See with the Yankees,
probably not for you, But there's so many teams that
probably hate who they've passed on over the years, some

(04:33):
of these small market teams or not even small market teams.
Teams have to be about that. How about that time
I noticed? Sounds terrible, but it was dearly two thousand's.
We were terrible people, right, we've grown a lot since.
Speak for yourself. There was one time rich committed to
a woman, but then you met all of her friends
and you're like, oh, man, why do I choose her? Yeah?

(04:55):
I'm just right. It's a true story. I can't deny that.
It which you learned less and meet someone's friends before
you settled with them, and his sports related. Wasn't she
a net stancer? She was sports sports sports. I look
at it this way. So my point is you passed
on all the others because you committed. It's true the
random one in that. I think the ones that that

(05:17):
hurt the most are teams that are looking for something
specific like how long Now you could say the answers
with justin fields, but how long have the Chicago Bears
looked for a quarterback? And when you could cite like man,
they passed off Mahomes and Lamar Jackson and this guy.
When when when the numbers of superstars start piling up
that you could have went with. I think it hurts

(05:38):
a little more. So when you look at Minnesota and
you say, man, the t Wols really did pass on
Clay and Steph and traded Wiggins because they didn't feel
like he had the value they wanted to. You start
saying to yourself, yeah, they could have built something. I
felt that way about. I know, the Royals won a
World Series. I was thinking about the Royals of like

(06:00):
ten years before they had so is that the Johnny
Damon Day's Johnny Damon, Carlos Beltron. They had a roster,
they were stacked, but they just couldn't really maintain it.
And you say that all these stars came from the Royals,
but they couldn't keep it together. Oklahoma City, right, superstars?
But yeah, it's just the name of the game, you know.

(06:21):
And it's not just basketball teams. I mean, what was
the story where Steph Curry signed with under Armour? Oh?
Is that because the Nike mispronounced his name or something
didn't pay much attention to him. What happens? But speaking
of it goes back to your you crying about stocks
you should have invested in. You just don't know. Sometimes

(06:43):
it's true, honestly. Uh no, hey, I just want to
let you I didn't know if you guys were doing
it ironically, like I don't want to mention it. But
when you guys were saying Clay's dad, you know it's
Michael Thompson, right, the guy that want all the titles
for the Lakers, and now he's the now he's the
commentator for the Lakers. Michael Thompson and the father of

(07:04):
Trace Thompson, who the Dodgers just traded for Clay's brother.
I thought his dad was be real of Cypress Hill.
That looks like to me, Scooby doo ya, Scooby doo,
Scooby doo. Wow. See, so they you have it. Thank you,
thank you, Jason, Yeah, thank you very much. But yeah,
he's I mean, he's he's calling it like he sees

(07:24):
it now. Clay yesterday had a really bizarre day, the
Clay Thompson Day of a fun Listen. He was partying
at a celebration. But there's a list of things that
happened to Clay Thompson yesterday he lost his championship hat
in the ocean, off his head. Everybody saw that, whoa,

(07:45):
there's my hat. Everybody saw that he knocked over a fan,
And wasn't your first instinct like, oh, is this gonna
be some type of lawsuit? Is he gonna get seeing it?
Is he gonna get some crap like when Matthew Stafford
watched the girl fall off the stage, Like your first
instinct was like, fun moment. Is there gonna be something
here where she broke her wristed out? That's what's sad

(08:05):
about the whole thing, because that's the first thing I thought,
as well, Oh no, oh, here comes the law suit.
He stumbled and bumped into something and they're like a
dislocated shoulder. He dropped one of his championship rings on
the street. You know that's dance and so that's a
that's a risky move busting out the rings like that too,

(08:26):
because I saw Steph Curry. He was rocking three rings
on a chain. You know, one of them falls like dah,
I wouldn't take that chance. I just wouldn't. Just makes
me think of those days where everything goes either really
right for you or really wrong for you, Well, it's
funny you bring that up. It's like Clay Thompson's terrible, horrible,

(08:49):
no good, very bad day, even though he was celebrating
it was it was a funny. It was a funny
bad day mixed with the fact that he was celebrating
a huge one. You're gonna four Yeah, congratulations Golden State Warriors,
Gold State Warriors fans. Clay Thompson couldn't do it without
him mean it. But it goes back to that scene

(09:09):
in Naked Gun, Like that's our reference we've joked about
for years, remem when O. J. Simpson fell out of
out of the window, like everything went wrong in the
window on his fingers they're trapped. Then he puts his
hand on the stove. Then I think his foot goes
in a bucket if I don't know if you been
making it up. Then like paint spills or something and

(09:30):
he falls out the window. It's like everything that could
possibly go bad goes bad. Frank, Yeah, again, that's that's
O J and Naked Gun. Kind of like Clay Thompson's day,
but it was all in fun and he was celebrating.
We want to hear about your terrible, horrible, no good,
very bad day. I had what you call the triple
buzz kill. The other day, the triple doozy buzz kill,

(09:54):
all in one day, all in what I kind of
mentioned it to you, in one day. Again, I wasn't celebrating,
so Clay's day not that bad when he's there celebrating.
But it did seem like everything went wrong right based
on social media and what trends and what people hang
on to in today's world. The other day just seemed
like regular day. I went to the mailbox, my first mistake,

(10:18):
because what what is there? Is there ever anything good
in the mailbox? Ever? That's for you. Most of the
boxes that come to my house are not for me, right,
It's just like usually nightmare bills on the mailbox it
says l A d W PEA. So I'm like cringing,
like why am I doing this? I'm having such a
nice day. Should I get hosh? I gotta get the mail.

(10:40):
I looked at my recent electric and water bill, and
I'm like, are we running fountains twenty four hours a
day at this house? Honey? Do we have is that? Like?
Do I not know something? So my first week bathing
the neighborhood. Was going to the mailbox on a night.
I was having a nice day. Nobody was bothering me,
as my dad would say, No one was busting my chops,
no one was squeezing my shoes, but I was getting
the mail. I was like, sure enough, dude. You know,

(11:03):
the only thing I look forward to is my Fox
Sports radio check. That's the only good news. Oh in
my birthday card from my dentist. The only good news
I get every once. The only person that cares about
the only one that Steve we haven't seen in a while.
Otherwise it's just always you do if you're cleaning junk
mail and bills right, oh, in bed, bath and beyond,
always good. I have a whole collection of those bad

(11:24):
boys you're do for your floor high treatment. Dude, I
got I got a bill from h O W. Right,
because I live in a condo complex. I got a
bill from h O A. And they we're asking, keep
in mind prices are high inflation. We discussed this, and
you already pay a nice amount of money, pay about
six hundred dollars a month and hr way fees, right,
and they're saying, oh yeah, we need four thousand dollars

(11:46):
from every resident. I'm like four thousand. Nah. I was like,
what for? What for a fence that they're putting in
like a hot water heater that that needs to be fixed.
What do you answer? Isn't that why I pay? Yeah? Yeah,
that's already builds for that, Dude. I don't need an
extra one now. As my mom would say, I'm giving
shout outs to my parents today getting ada. I don't

(12:08):
even know what that means, right, So I get the
h O bill and I'm like, you believe this the nerve,
I get six four thousand dollars. What are you out
of your mind? For a new fence? So, yeah, I'm
losing like a fence. I'm not even on the first floor.
I don't care about the stupid fence at the Green
Monster right the importing the regularly, Uh dude, this is

(12:30):
the the ivy Like remember everything went wrong for Clay
right kind of even though he was celebrating in my
regular real life where I have nothing to celebrate. This
is what happened to me. H a check one number
two back in October. I had the VID nineteen folks
like everyone like everybody, but I got it bad. I

(12:50):
was in hospital for like seven days and I have
some discrepancies on the bills and everything like that. They
always try to get you for something, right, dude, they're
just trying to hit put it this way another like
he got he got hit with one of those you know,
the doctor that treaty wasn't on your plan, And it's like, exactly,

(13:11):
but you know that that the guy that came in
and checked your temperature on December nine, Yeah, he hasn't
on your plan. That's hundry bucks. And it says here
the woman that came into, uh say are you okay?
And you gave a thumbs up. Yeah, that was a
nurse that's also not on your coverage. So another three grand.
That's exactly what happened. And when you arrive there, it's
an emergency situation. You give them all your information. You

(13:34):
got blood work done, sorry, quest diagnostics or whoever it
is is seven So anyway, I'm now I'm getting hit
up for like, let's say, another three grand, right, if
not more, I'm like what delinquent bills? Like what then
triple doozy buzz kill I open up another one again.

(13:54):
I'm like, oh no, I'm shaking open it up. I'm like,
this doesn't look like positive news. This doesn't look like
a birthday right, this doesn't look like something nice. This
isn't my Fox Sports radio check. And I got another
delinquent notice. Not my fault again, I'm dealing with these things,
but like from a property text that wasn't paid and

(14:14):
I'm like, what this has to be a mistake. Another
few thousand, all in one day, all in one delivery.
Is there anything so you're feeling Thompson is what you're saying? Like,
what I'm saying is, hey, Clay was celebrating when you
got when you're not involved in a parade. So in
regular life sometimes what people are categorizing is Clay's bad day.

(14:36):
You were trade in any day of the week. Concerned
he dropped, he dropped a ring whilst a free hat
and bumped into someone. You now multiple providers taken. And
by the way, to make it clear, you know, when
you pay your mortgage, they are supposed to pay. The
way mine works is I pay the mortgage, they pay
the property tax. So I was told, I'm all good, Yeah,
it's all part of it. And I'm like, what is

(14:57):
this about? So now another hassle and a off that
I got a deal with. So it's the triple doozy
buzz kill in perspective, Clay's day not that bad in mind,
so crappy all in one day. I had to like
laugh about it a little bit. I could end this
with a question for everyone. I could. I could end
this with a question for for everyone, what do Steve
Comino and Rob Kronkowski not having common You're not retiring anytime,

Ramost that we're Pretender's. If you're listening to the podcast,
you might not hear that he's playing the Pretenders. But
I love this song man pretending to fill in for

(17:12):
Doug Gottlieb Camino and Rich Fox Sports Radio. Yeah yeah, Hey,
let me ask you, um, you love growling when you
listen to about music that bothers me? It just bothers me.
I'm sure it bothers people to bothers me that you
listen to the Proclaimers and Barnaked Ladies. I don't. I
don't listen to the Proclaimers, but I do like the
Barnaked Lady that bothers me. Why doesn't bother you a growl?

(17:36):
I don't know because it sounds just you. Ever hear
James head Field with an yeah, so you like, so
you think you're in Metallica? No, but I love Metallica.
I see what I mean. I know I think I'm
not gonna win this because I feel like I feel
like Jason's a rock guy. How do you sing along
with some of the greatest us? And yes, if you're
not going to put a little into it, you know.

(17:57):
I was watching the when the Black Album came out.
They did a documentary on it, right, and they had
hired Bob Rock to produce that album. I think that
was his first the first album that he produced for them,
and I saw Bob like encouraging Hadfield to start doing that.
That was like the first album where like between lyrics, yeah, well,
Comito does it on every reentry on Fox Sports Radio

(18:20):
Rock on it forgot me. You know what happened there though,
you know what happened. It's like you become the joke, right,
of course. I I imitate my buddy Jose a lot.
That's kind of where it started, Jose the Metal Ambassador
on Sirius XM Mangan Right, He's always like brother, and
that just turns into the thing, and you become the joke.

(18:41):
I started the joke, and then and I become a joke.
Of course, I get it. I get it. I get it.
Happens you make fun of something enough and you start
liking it. Yes, yes, that's kind of what happened. And
you know, you like metallic and things like that just
becomes part of the lifestyle. You can't sing like disturbed
stupefy without happen a little. You can't sing corn and
metallic having a little in your voice and delivery, you

(19:03):
know what I mean. That's where it comes from. I'm
the guy you hear on series six and playing all
the rock music. I'm Cavino, that is Rich Davis is
the what do they call you? The pop Prince? The
pop prince. You know, I don't want to stick here jokes.
I just want to pop prince Davis, the same guy
you here on Serious six Tim, we're here on Fox
Sports Radio. Shout out to s x M eighty three.

(19:25):
But hey, speaking of Metallica perfect. I love how the
show in furls and rights itself because they're part of
my conversation. You think on furrel, I did good word.
Not many things are unfurled. I call it the Milton
Barrel unfurled. Hear all about it. This story unfurls nicely

(19:46):
because when I think of right, I think that Kirby Puckett. No,
but that's a great memory, for sure. I think I
think Dan Gladden's mullet. It's another great referenced the breeze. No,
I think Michael Jordan's starting it all. You know what

(20:06):
I'm thinking music, and we're gonna turn this to Sports
two as well. But you know, we got all the
credit in ninety one and it deserves the credit. Don't
get it twisted. It changed my life. I love it.
But Nirvana never Mind is like the be all end
all of answers of what owned the nineties. It changed
music for the next decade, not denying that it's the

(20:27):
goat of that era nineties rock. Nirvana and I love Nirvana, right,
But dude, Metallica in the Black Album for Better or Worse,
because I know hardcore Metallica fans are like, yeah, that's
when late, but that's when they hit with Enter Sandman.
It opened the doors for the greatest sports entrance of

(20:49):
all time, Marianna Rivera coming out of the dugout game over, Goodnight,
Enter Sandman. More Rivera. But my point is, if we
were having a goat conversation about music in the nineties,
people will always say Nirvana, right, I'm here to say
guests who sold more albums than anybody in rock in

(21:10):
the nineties. Metallica. The Black Album under Sandman was in
my opinion, just as popular at the time as Smells
like Teen Spirit. But you grow older, you get wiser.
You know what else should be in the conversation, and
that's where this goes. You know what else should be
in the conversation. You take it back to the early nineties.

(21:34):
I'm just a dumb teenage kid, right, I'm not going
to correct you now. I'm a crown man boy. I've
lived some life. I have different perspective now, right. So
if you said to me back in the nineties, yo,
Atlantis morrisa is fire. You wouldn't have said that in
the nineties, though, I would have said lit maybe, yeah,

(21:57):
it's so dope. I would have been like Nevada, I
didn't have time for Jagged Little Pill in my opinion. Again,
teenage guy, I'm like, that's my sister's music. But now,
as a grown adult man boy, I could say, yeah, wow,
you ought to know might be one of the most

(22:20):
powerful songs of that era. Cut it out, Joey Gladstone,
What was going on? What was going on in that theater?
What made so hot and heavy? The bow Winkle impression?
What was it? I like what you're going here? So,
whether it's sports, music, movies, anything, what deserves a little

(22:44):
more credit than we gave it. Well, here's why I
bring this up. Okay, is Fox Sports Radio Cavino and
Rich Steph Curry one his fourth three three against Lebron
He's got four. Now people have said, and you follow
social media trends, you gotta have him in the goat conversation. Now, yeah, done, deal,

(23:08):
automatic has to be. He changed the game. Go to
any playground in the world right now, little kids throwing
up threes like their Steph. He's in the goat conversation,
he was kind of left out. I don't think anyone's
saying he's the goat, but what you just said is

(23:29):
a good good you have to end it with in
the conversation. And that's my point, because he's also not
done exactly. He doesn't get who doesn't get enough credit
across the world of sports music. You name it, who
in your mind doesn't get maybe the credit or props
they deserve when these conversations are head. Yeah, it could

(23:53):
be called classics. It could be anything like, all right,
I'll give you an example, because no one's gonna say this,
so I'll be mad enough to say it. Let's hear it.
When people give you the uh, the definition of handsome,
they'll always say yeah, like like Brad Pitt, and every
guy under the moon is comfortable saying that because he

(24:14):
sort of ran with the title. You know, Brad Pitt's older.
Now I'm not saying he's not handsome, but is he
still the answer? Someone else has to be in the
conversation who gets left out? I'd give you a few.
You're gonna tell me. John Stamos, the Greek god that
he is, shouldn't be in the conversation, Are you seriously
Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, Zac Efron, Um, give me someone

(24:37):
else about how about a young KIANU. They're not in
the conversation. It's always Brad Pitt. I'll give you one.
I got one, so so again. Again it's always Lebron.
It's always Jordans, Lebron and Jordans, you know. For the
older cats, Kareem, we get it, Magic Curry, Magic Curry's
in the conversation. I'm saying, Staymos is in the conversation.

(25:00):
One else has to be in the conversation. Well, who
gets left? We're opening up the phones now, nine Fox.
And the one other example I gave is yeah, Nirvana's
the answer. But Jagged Little Pill Atlantis Morris said, is
in the conversation, and we forget sometimes I'll give you one,

(25:20):
I'll give you two ahead and then Jason Ramos feel
free chime and that's a fun one. Um, I'm gonna say,
because my wife's from San Antonio, we'll give you all
the standard answers. First, Tim Duncan. I'm not saying he's
the greatest, but Tim Duncan gets very little credit for
being part of five championships because they were never back

(25:42):
to back him and Popovich what they were, what they
were running in San Antonio, and they could have had
six if it wasn't for that crazy Miami heat twenty
seconds left. Yeah, it's very rare that he's brought up.
Duncan is a beast. Know who else has never given
enough credit? Good answer? Good answer. I'll give you someone
that's not given enough credit. I'm gonna be a supportive

(26:03):
family member on family few good good answer. Knows like it.
Sometimes it's terrible. They just have their like dumb uncle.
Good answer. So in the world of comedy when we
were if you grew up in the eighties, nineties or
two thousand's watching comedic movies, everyone loves to go and
I'm guilty. You know what your go two's are? Jim Carrey,

(26:26):
Adam Sandler, Chris Farley. For some reason, Mike Myers never
gets brought up when people are talking about Sandler and
Jim Carrey. Oh, is your favorite Mike Myers gave us?
Because Jim Carrey's everybody's favorite Canadian. It's possible. So if
people forget about Mike, dude, Mike Myers franchise Austin Powers movies,

(26:50):
Wayne's World choice of the voiceover stuff for Shrek, like
Mike Myers is a beast, even stupid movies like so
I married an ex murderer, or you know, like there
was some random Mike Myers movies. Again, I hate agreeing
with Rich, but Mike Myers is rarely brought up in
who owned the nineties? My answers are Tim Duncan and
Mike Myers. You know who else doesn't get the credit?

(27:12):
I agree with you. Your answer is, I think the
best Mike Myers because he's like a powerhouse. He's right
up there with Jim Carrey in my opinion, and the Sandman,
and when you think of when you think of the
characters he created in the franchises he was a part of.
But how about this, I'm just doing this in there
for conversation because most people wouldn't bring up Oh yeah, yeah,
Jim Carrey. Huh what about Ben Stiller? When you think

(27:35):
of all the comedies he had, he gave us a lot.
He gave us a lot time, Right, So I want
you guys to put on your thinking caps, music, sports,
the world of acting. When when when it comes to
the goats right there. There's more than just the Godfather.
So what are the movies and and icons and things

(27:59):
left out of the conversation? Think about it. We'll go
to your phone calls after Muncy gives us an update.
What's up, Hi, guys, how's it going. I just saw
you thirty seconds ago in person, but it feels weird
that I can't see you from where I'm sitting right now,
right I know? Did you post our selfie? Yet? I did?
I did, and I posted one for Twitter and one
on Instagram, so you get different ones depending on where

(28:21):
you find us. Hey, Monty, I want you to know
something though. Tell me. I hope you know it shows
how much I love and respect you because I don't
do selfies. Oh I mean I did the selfie. I'm
the one holding that goes along with everything people hate about.

(28:43):
My head always looks so big because he got a
big head. Have a big head, you think you have
a big head, big Mexican. No, I thought that of
It makes you feel better if you look at comne
On Rich I got like a bird head. He has
like an ernie head. I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie.
Never thought that, but now that you're pointing it out.
Maybe I do see it now, but I've never noticed that.

(29:05):
I'd never ever noticed that, So stop telling people that. Okay,
thank you, alright, guys. So, a couple of players have
decided to pick up their options for the NBA season,
one of them being John Wall. He has picked up
his player option forty seven point four million for twenty
three season. He obviously didn't play at all last year,

(29:27):
so they're thinking that they're gonna maybe figure out a
trade deal for him. Maybe, But unsurprisingly, and he did
pick up his player option. And so did Kendrick None
for the Lakers five point to five million player option.
He also didn't play at all because he had a
right neat bone bruise. They're thinking that he actually can
help the Lakers. So we'll see what happens with both

(29:49):
of these players, but they both opted into their player option. Yes,
you ever think about the money we speak of, like
we just so cavalierly no pun intended clan we started
so have to literally say, like, yeah, five million for
like a bench role player. It's it's wild to me
to think how we become so desensitized to the money

(30:10):
in in professional sports. And I think they deserve it
and earn it because the fans and people pay, but
not to that degree. Yeah, but we we still like
still be like a middle reliever who has like eight
million dollar year contract and I'm like, you know, this
guy throws an inning here there and listen, I get
it being a professional athlete to get to that level.
But still it's wild ridiculous, ridiculous. And some movie stars too.

(30:33):
I mean, we can argue both about about movie stars, right,
but speaking about money. Yeah, that's why brooks Kepca has
become the latest star golfer to leave the PGA Tour
for the liv Golf series. Live Golf has now signed
eight of the top fifty players in the world, and
obviously the PGRs PGA Tour is trying to do something,
so reports are saying that they plan to add eight

(30:53):
twenty million dollar tournaments in three as an attempt to
combat Live Golf. They go do something. We talked about
this on Sunday Night Show and I don't mind getting
into it a little bit later. But when let's be honest,
when like rich farm people are like, yo, here's hundreds
of millions of dollars, Like why we get you to
do what you do. Hey, you got your golf for

(31:14):
a living, We'll I'll pay you a lot more to
golf here. Right. We were speculating on Sunday, what if
they were like home Run Derby and they offered like
Aaron Judge and Peter Alonzo and Bellinger like you know,
twenty mill each to like just come do some exclusive thing.
They don't do it right, right, I I get it. No,
I'm with you. I know all these people leaving and
they're like talking smack. It's like everybody has a price.

(31:35):
Everybody has a price, whether you want to admit it
or not. Everybody has a price. Now, these people obviously
don't have to worry about money the way we do
so with prices staring at the pump. Discover has your

(31:56):
up Aaron Judge. Actually, In the first update of All
Star balloting, Aaron Judge, no surprise, leads all major league
players with two point five million votes. The next player
would be Mookie Bets, of course, of the Dodgers, who
leads the National League players with over one point four
million dollar votes now in the NFL. Tony Buzzby, the
attorney representing the twenty four women who are suing Deshaun Watson,

(32:18):
has said that twenty of those women have settled, the
remaining four will go to trial. One of the remaining
four is Ashley so Lease, the first woman to file
the lawsuit against Watson, the first one to speak publicly
and identify herself as a plaintiff. She is going to trial.
She is not one of the ones that has settled.
Bucks tight end Rob Gronkowski has apparently decided to retire.
Whether he is or not, that is up for debate.

(32:40):
But you know, he returned in twenty with the Patriots,
came back to play with Tom and the Bucks in twenty.
I think he's retiring, but again up for debate. Up
for debate. Now, how about a quick chord for Dollar
Shave Club. The Dollars Shave Clubs six plade razor brings
noticeably smooth shaves with six stainless steel blades for swift
hair removal and lubricating strip that keeps things smooth. Dollar

(33:04):
Shaved Club raizors are sold at Dollar Shaved Club dot
Com or in stores and Guys. Four time Major champion
Naomi Osaka, the tennis player, has announced that she's launching
a new media company. It's called Hanna Kuma, which translate
to flower Bear in Japanese, and this is in partnership
with Lebron James's spring Hill Company. They're going to produce

(33:25):
documentaries as well as scripted and unscripted series. Back to
you guys, Thank you buddy. Um. You know, Mike Trout
is third in the All Star voting so far, and
you know how sometimes you see a number and you're
thinking of yourself, Wow, it's only you know, only eight times.
If he makes the All Star team, which he will,
it's Mike Trout eighth time ever in the al that

(33:46):
a guy has been a nine time All Star with
the same team. You would think over time, do be high? Right, Yes,
it's gonna be rare nowadays though, because people agency he
would be a nine time All Star are But nowadays
that makes it more impressive. For sure. We're Cavino and
Rich talking goats, but it's sort of a different conversation.

(34:09):
I want to go to the phone call. I know
we got a break, but let me ask you one
more thing about the All Star voting. Peb. We'll get
into this more later. Buck Show Walter, who I love
made my medicine winner. Buck show Walter said that he
thinks every year there should be a guy in the
A L and N L that is voted in as
the best utility guy, because he said, if you watch

(34:29):
baseball day in and day out, such an important part
of a team is that utility guy who could spots
start in left field, also play second base, pinch run,
pinch it. He's some of these middle relief guys don't
get the credit either that they deserve. They just don't
have the sexy numbers. He's saying, based on how the
game is played, there should be positions in the All
Star Game for those guys, middle relievers, utility players. Right, yeah, no,

(34:56):
I get it, I get it. So the story goes
like this, Steph Curry has to be in the goat conversation.
But with that being said, sometimes movies, people, actors, athletes
are forgotten. Who's forgotten? Frank and Brooklyn? What's up man?
In Good Afternoon? What's the argument as far as as

(35:18):
far as the hoop and as things goes. I mean,
all we've been hearing about the top ten. That's a
very small table and you're gonna have to bounce some
people if you want to put him up in that rank.
But that's not what I'm calling about. As far as
some of some of the acts that you guys are
talking about, I'm not a fan of you two, but
the nineties you two was about as big as it.
God um and with that the actor that I think

(35:40):
doesn't get enough credit. That was probably one of the
funniest cats ever as Bill Murray, and that was his
error as well. So sure, by the way, I was ready.
I was ready to go at Frank. When he said
he's not a fan of you two, I was like,
I got did you see that? Yeah? I was like,
why would be at you like Frank, let's go oh,
I don't. I don't really care for Bonno either, Okay,
cool thinks thing. And how about this Discover card. If

(36:06):
you're a valued customer, get this. You deserve a simple
gesture of appreciation from your credit card company. And that's
why I Discover matches all your cash back you've earned

You know it's weird about this song. Comno's girlfriend told
me he enters the bedroom to the song greatest. What

(36:51):
are you doing? No thing? It's my routine. What do
you think you are? No? One? Comino rich and forgot Lea,
Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, rich and jealous. You know why
he's jealous, by the way, we're Cavino and Rich Fox
Sports Radio, Steve Covino because he wants so badly for

(37:15):
Edwin di As his entrance to be as legendary as
Marianna Rivera. It's awesome. You hear those trumpets. It's great
and I love that he's bringing back Mariachi trumpets. What
is it blaster Jackson Narco? Yeah, blaster Jack's not Basement
Jack's blaster Jack's Narco. Very powerful song? Are you doing peppers?

(37:36):
Very powerful? But no enter Sandman, which brings us to
our previous conversation wrapping it up right, there was some
speculation when the Golden State Warriors won, like steps now
he has to be in the goat conversation. Now obviously
he's in the conversation. Well, if nothing changes, who's to

(37:56):
say they don't run it back. They were in five
straight NBA finals until a couple of injuries and the
COVID season, So keep in mind five in a row, injuries, COVID.
Now they're back, the Warriors could very well win another
in the next couple of years. That's not a crazy
unlikely thought. And if that's the case, if you Steph

(38:20):
and coming players are are great. So Steph could win
a five or six. I mean, not to get ahead
of ourselves, but you're right, he should be at least
his name should be in the conversation. And to me,
there's no question. So it got me thinking of other
things that are left out of the conversation sometimes. And
you know, we talked about Atlantis and Metallica because everyone's
quick to see Narva and I'm quick to say Nirvana.

(38:42):
But how about this rich in a world where mixed
martial arts is such a thing mm A such a
thing UFC. Everybody loves it. You know. I love the
Fight Game. When people talk icons, they always bring up
Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky. These are
the goats. People don't often bring up Bruce Lee, and

(39:04):
I think you should be brought up all the time.
And that's just my opinion. That's just my opinion. And
some people question interesting take because whatever he was acting
and how great he really was. But icon, the dude's
an icon. I lost that kind I think because I
don't think people really do think of him. So for
this conversation, yeah, that's a good one, all right, and
you're gonna laugh. But again, I'm an eighties kid right

(39:25):
in the world of X Games and motocross and people
loving spectacles, evil Kinevil dude, that dude was the g
when I was no. But I'm serious. Do you think
he gets the credit? Yo, I'm bringing it up conversation.
Do you see that dude didn't the X Games. I'm
gonna say, you know what, That's what I'm gonna say.

(39:47):
I'm just saying, sometimes things are forgotten, that's all. Sometimes
things are forgotten. In the conversation, something to talk about
with your buddies or people say the guy father, I say,
what about blood and blood out? What about blood and
blood out? See, now you're being siding all right, now,
I'm being silly. But these are my own personal ones,
right well. Comno rich In forgott leab Um, No, I

(40:07):
don't think he should be in the conversation. But I
was talking to my next door neighbor about Robert Ory
the other day, and I want to bring him up
when we get back from the break. Something interesting about
Robert orri. But uh hey, how about this Discover right?
We were given Discover some props and a member since
like the late nineteen hundreds, according to my card nineteen hundreds.
It's a long time. With prices starting at the pump.
