are you're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, Fox Sports Radio,

(00:28):
Comino and Reds. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We'll
be back next week and every Sunday night. Thank you.
I want to thank Jason Ramos Monsey. What a team?
What a team? What a CRUI? Steve Camino, Rich Davis
and our number eight seven seven on Fox eight seven
seven nine on Fox. Hey, Rich, I know you want
to talk about Charles Barkley, but I gotta wrap up

(00:50):
this goat conversation like forgotten people and things that should
be in the conversation because I just thought of another one.
As a fight fan, You ask any fight fan you
know who's a goat. Most people can say Ali or
Mike Tyson, right or wrong? Yeah, you know who's always
left down? Trevor Berbick No, no, no, King Hippo, uh

(01:14):
Don Flamenco the answer is don Flamenco. You never mentioned
von Kaiser. Nobody, and I always want you to Nobody
ever mentioned Soda Popinski. No, you ain't kidding. Super Macho
Man never brought no. But you know what, I'm glad
you brought up those names because Joe, everybody thinks that,
you know, Mike Typan with so ferocious Mike Tythan because
he had the game. It was invincible. Right. But when

(01:38):
I have Clandethtine conversations about boxing, when you really think
about it, dude, Lennox Lewis doesn't get the prompt. Please
let me explain why real quick. He was tucked in
between the Tyson years and the boring Klitchko years. So
there's like this little weird Lennox Lewis is in this
pocket of like forgotten heavyweight dominant and that's probably why.
But if someone said to me, yeah, Lennox Lewis is

(02:02):
the go, I'd say, oh, you know what, you might
have a point. You pauled Tim Allen, who was left
out of the movie by the way, so he was
forty one and two. He lost to Oliver McCall in.
Hasim Rockman, right, But guess what everybody he lost to

(02:23):
he beat, so he he must growl. His name is Rockman,
rock Rock besides me, who rocks harder than that guy?
So yeah, Vander Holyfield, he had a draw against but
beat him. So everybody he lost he eventually beat. By
the way, he also beat Mike Tyson knocked him out

(02:48):
right again. Yeah, this didn't have the fighting spirit. I
just went int the theme at the time. I get
all that he also beat Clinch go he beat itally Clitch.
So I mean Lennox Lewis is he's often forgotten in
that conversation. Lennox Lewis, Tim Duncan, Mike Myers, Steph Curry,
guys that should always be in the conversation and something

(03:08):
to talk about with your wife and your buddies later.
Who do you think all things gets left out of
the conversations in their category? All right, Um, before we
get to this Charles Barklay thing, there's one other thing
I wanted to bring up, and he got me. Oh,
Robert Doory, That's what I wanted to bring up. I
don't think he should be in the goat conversation, But

(03:30):
isn't there something to be said? I was talking to
my next door neighbor. Who do you ever have those conversations?
You have a new neighbor guy and he just wanted
to take his trash out and he got caught up
in a conversation with you. Have you gone, Mr love Joy?
Hey doing Ritchie? I just drinking bringing out the trash.
By the way, I'm thinking about Robert Dory. Yeah, I'm

(03:51):
just you know, for time for dinner and let me
see you later real quick. You ever think about the
number of championships Robert Ory has had. We came up
because him and I were like, hey, watch the NBA
Finals last night, and I'm like, yeah, that's four for Staff.

(04:11):
You know, he could win a couple more. And it
turns into big moments big and it turns into well,
Jordan has six Lebron Staff. There's a few guys stuck
on four Magic and Kobe. Some of those guys had
five shock Head what four shock had the three with
Kobe and then one with the heat Right, so shock

(04:33):
Head four, if I'm remembering correctly, Robert Ory seven. Yeah,
it's amazing. Two with the Rockets with the Malajuan team,
three with the Lakers, and then two with the Spurs.
And I'm not saying he's the greatest. But talk about
a career where he just got to play. He got
to play on three dynasties like very magical, like kind

(04:57):
of I don't want to see like Forrest Gumpy, But
you how far has come. Just was in the right place,
right time. I mean, there's something to be said about
his skill set and you know the big shots he provided,
but before that he could look back here there I
am celebrating with the Kimla Juan back to back for Houston.
Oh yeah, I also one with the Lakers when they
were dominating. Oh by the way, I also played under

(05:18):
Popovitch with Duncan. And it's it's wild to think what
a cool career Robert Ory has had. It's a winner.
I mean, Jason, think about that. There's guys that have
played against all great teams and one he's played on
three like very notable franchises. When you lay it out,
it sounds very impressive. And you know, over the past

(05:39):
few weeks we've been talking about like Steve Kerr's playing career.
He played in one Rings with Jordan, we played for
Popovich and one rings there that was impressive. But I
just thought about this last night. Maybe Jock Peterson is
the Robert Ory of baseball. You know, they just gave
him a ring last night. He's won two straight rings.
I know, I don't think the Giants are gonna win

(06:01):
anytime soon, so they got to trade him away probably,
But Jock Peterson, there's there's another guy that's putting together
a pretty good championship resume. It's it's wild to think
about Steve Carr. I'm gonn. I'm glad you brought him
up because I saw stat that what over the last years,
thirty three percent of the NBA titles one was part
of as a player or coach. I mean, I don't

(06:21):
want to state the obvious two, but like we were
talking about since Winning Time was such a big deal
in the past few months on HBO Max, Like when
you look at pat Riley and how he won on
every level. That's also impressive too. He won as a player,
he won as UH an assistant coach, a head coach.
He won like on every level possible. And I know,

(06:42):
I know that I know this fiction thrown in with
the facts in that show, but we loved Winning Time
coming on and I both talked about how we thought
it was fantastic to think if there is legitimacy as
to how hard pat Riley worked to get to where
he was, Like that show makes it seem like he
hustled his ass off to find a way into that
organization's coaching. It's impressive and it goes back to something

(07:05):
we discovered this the other day too. Like Chris Bryant
the baseball player, he won like every like major accolle
that he could have possible. He won. People forget sometimes
that's impressed Chris Bryant, who's a shell of what he was. Unfortunately,
but we all are at one point, right, But he
was I believe college baseball player of the year. I
think it was like high school player. Oh yeah, he

(07:25):
was high I think he was high school player of
the year, college baseball player of the year, rookie of
the year, and then the next year he was M
v P and one a World Series. Like we're talking
about a span of like four years or so in
a row where Chris Bryant's amazing. So Robert Ory champions
out there, man, some champions um. Now I want to
talk about generational criticism. Now you see this a lot

(07:50):
now more than ever before. I was talking to Jason,
who it seems like he knows the hell of one
Doug Gottlie very lucky man to have it was more
Jason or your neighbor. Really, I'm just just bringing up
my recycling. Wife has differ at the table, Gotta go.
I don't know much about Robert or rich, but yeah,
I have a good one. That's that's My favorite part

(08:13):
of your impression of his neighbor is that the neighbor
was giving him the obvious out cues, and there are
just those people and wife who don't take those obviously.
I'm glad he tacked up on it. Yeah, I don't.
I'm terrible. Wife's got wife's got dinner on the table. Hey,
do you see Max Sher's just coming back that week? Oh,
wife's dinners getting cold? Yeah? What do you think wh
him and Jacob de Grammar together. I'm terrible. I'm bad.

(08:37):
I'll get better at the cues, I promised. Um. But
when we were kids, right, if you grew up in
the eighties or nineties, you never really saw like here's
Johnny Unitus's take on Joe Montana. Yeah, I think Joe
is a hell of a player. He never saw Hey,
we're gonna go to Uh, We're gonna go get uh
give me a good baseball. We're gonna check in with

(08:58):
Mickey Mantlet's see how he feels about you know, Don Mattingly.
I'm sure they were asked in interviews, like I could
clearly clearly recall our Senio asking Muhammad alive, who would
win in a fight if you were to fight Mike Tyson,
you know what I mean, like who's to go? Who's
the greatest? Like, I'm sure they were asked in interviews,
but you're right, they didn't have the platform and they

(09:19):
weren't voicing their opinion. Tom Sieber, tell us your thoughts
on Clemmens and Gooden. You just didn't you didn't get
that or they handled it in a different way, in
a respectful sort of way. Maybe out here in l A.
I don't know who. Just coul Fact just got a statue, right, Yeah.
Was there a lot of like, Hey, Sandy, what do

(09:40):
you think about Fernando Vellezuela, what do you think about Kershaw?
I don't think there was ever like the criticism you
see from And I'm leading towards the NBA because I
feel like that the NBA there's so much good drama.
But it's because everyone wants to talk crap. Yeahs, do
you have the clip of never to talk crap? Nowadays
people have you have social d N, their own podcasts.

(10:03):
This is Sir Charles on ESPN. As before Katie gets
that great respect from all the old heads, he's gonna
have to win a championship as a guy, as a
bus driver. Listen, he joined this, Uh, that team had
already going a championship. So no disrespect, that's just the
fact the old guys like myself, Hey, Katie's an all

(10:24):
time hell of a player, but until he is the
guy on a championship team, we're not gonna ever give
him their respects. I mean that he probably deserves, and
that's just the way it is. And like I say that,
the game has to change. Kobe said that, Lebron said it,
and so we're gonna hold him to the same high standards.
Kevin durand one of the best players we've ever had.

(10:47):
But when he's been the leader of a team, when
he had to lead a group of men, he has
not done. He has not been able to finish their journey.
And then and listen, we're gonna and we listen, no disrespect.
We're gonna always hold that against him. Well, and it's
it's true disrespect. It's like when someone goes, hey, no,
fatch you look fat? Uh? Yeah, no disrespect. Kevin Durant

(11:07):
responded by saying, all this poop, I can't say that
word on Fox. All this ass is nasty. Another terrible
analogy from an hate from a hating old head. They
can't accept that we're making more bread than them. Ah.
And then you're thinking to yourself, well, it doesn't come
across down to the bread they're making. I just don't.

(11:30):
I don't think it comes down to that. I'm sure
you think Barkley would have liked to make forty million
dollars are but you know, hey Barkley, is he the
one that should be saying these things? Is the question?
I mean. Michael Jordan got in his way and I
said to Jason off the air minute ago, I said,
what about when they have these NBA honors and these

(11:52):
you know, I'm sure they do stuff with kids, and
you know they have appearances where they bump into each other.
Even Kevin Durant wants a small talk with Charles Barkley
after that, do you think when they're all being honored, like,
here's your NBA bass like you think Kevin Durant's bro
hugging the old heads that are making them awkward? Burgers
are served, what's the what's the pass around food? But

(12:15):
unfortunately the Golden State Warriors winning this year, you know,
created that narrative even more for Kevin Durant, so that
didn't help his place in NBA history. Romos, what do
you think you know where you don't hear this movie stars?

(12:36):
Movie stars never criticize each other. You'll never hear like, um,
some guy from the eighties or something. I could say,
you know this Tom Cruise guy, he's horrible. You'll you'll
never hear. Uh, Yeah, you're right. You want to hear
de Niro, Hey, this young guy playing in a mobster movie.
He's not you know, he's no mere Pacino like that.
They love each other. That. I was like, oh, this

(12:57):
these kids are great man. He's got a star eyes
I love. But these all these movies, this guy, oh,
he's great in this movie, he's great in that movie.
They just don't criticize. You see that also in music too,
even like Dave Grohl who I love food Fighters talks
about how he admires Billie Eilish and some of the
young talent in music, like you're right, music and the

(13:18):
and acting in the arts. It's a stroke fest because
I just thought about it, sports, NBA, even like hip
hop sometimes because there's a lot of trash talk. It's
a young man's game. So when these young guys are
pushing out the old guys, there is a little level
of competitiveness and resentment there, like we did it better

(13:41):
than they did it. Yeah, you could say that about
the things Ramo said what's up? But that seems like
more of a fraternity, you know what I mean. There's
still a place for old actors. There's no place for
old athletes. That's a good point. That's okay. It's like
DeNiro still has a place in Hollywood, so he could
he could, he could. I see what you're saying. It's
a young man's say. Dave Grohl could say Billie Eilish

(14:03):
is the best young female rock star I've ever seen,
because because he's still selling out the Staples Center. That's
that's my point. Interesting one. I think it goes to
one of the points you were making with me. Rich
and that these are people that understand what it's like
to be at the highest level, so they are uncomfortable
talking or criticizing someone who is playing at that high level,
whether it be a music artist or an actor. You

(14:25):
never see that. But to Barkley's point and how he
kind of he kind of basically um, I guess portrayed.
He said, for all the old heads to give him credit,
like he basically lumped everybody you know, like Adrian, Adrian
Danley and Alex English are like, wait, I don't feel
that way, dude, don't put me with all the old heads.
But one day it was up here in this building,

(14:47):
Bill Walton came in to do the gym Rome show
and at that time Bill Walton was like killing guys
on the air. He was he was like worse than
Barkley at the time. I remember that, and I actually
asked him that question. I said, dude, when you run
into these guys like out and about and stuff, don't
don't they ever like, you know, come up to him
confront you. And he said this, He's it's exact thing, Jason.

(15:07):
These are men battling for the ultimate prize. That was
his answer. That's it that's it. I think of Joe Cool.
Joe Montana. On his documentary Cool under Pressure, he talks
about how when he tried to transition into the broadcast booth,
the biggest problem he had was how could I criticize

(15:29):
guys that I played with or guys that are putting
it all out there the way I did. I don't
feel comfortable even saying like, that's a bad that's a
bad tackle. Should have wrapped him, Oh, inaccurate past, Like I,
he knows what it felt like to throw an inaccurate pass,
you know. So it's interesting and guys. I think that's
why Payton Manning has turned down a lot of those offers.
I don't think he wants to criticize anybody. And the

(15:50):
Manning Cassie does with his brother, they really don't criticize that.
They just go, oh, there's a turn left, turn quarter right, right, Yeah, yeah,
what a great throw that one. They don't really criticize anyway.
They just kind of talk about what's happened in They
interviewed a bunch of people, you know, right, you're right,
the Manning canceled all that. It's a lot of just funny,
it's a lot of fun and like football insight. You're right,
they're not saying like that guy really didn't battle for

(16:12):
the extras from for the first down. They're not criticizing
so interesting soul. Take your thoughts next eight, seven, seven,
nine nine on Fox. Do current athletes now get way
more criticism from from the old heads? And how do
you feel about it? The old heads have mustaches, which
brings us to the Dollar Shave Club. The Dollar Shave

(16:32):
Club six Blade Razor brings noticeably smooth shaves with six
steenless steel blades for swift hair removal and a lubricating
strip that keeps things smooth. Dollar Shave Club raisors are
sold at Dollar Shave Club dot com or in stores.
More could be known Rich next forgot. Be sure to
catch the live edition of The Doug Gottlieb Show weekdays
at three p m. Easter noon Pacific. Hey, guys, I

(16:56):
just found out from Rich's wife that this is how
he enters the bedroom. It's Capino and Rich and for
Doug Gottlieb and when very powerful, the best closer entrance
in all baseball right now. And hey, the Met's got
a good one tonight there in Houston, and the Mets
are underdogs money line minus one forty for Houston. So

(17:20):
if you're a gambling man or woman, I don't know.
That's got Williams pitching. Now, I don't know if I
take that. Let's uh, let's wait on wagers until the
Gramin sirs or get back in the mix. So we
got bassid pitching. Maybe it's about powerful horn sections and
these new songs that are coming out. It's it's making
me want to put down my guitar because originally you

(17:41):
pick it up the guitar to get the ladies. Now,
if you really want to get the ladies, dust off
your trumpet, everybody, I'm gonna play some I'm gonna play
some flute like a Lizzar song now, trumpets back, trumpet, flute, saxophone,
trumpets back. Who said being in banned was nerdy? Alright?
Comino and rich In for Gottlieb. Could I hit you
guys is up with an email? We got We got
an email? Still like, well, it's on email, it's a

(18:03):
d M on Instagram and it's sort of time sensitive.
So do you guys mind giving some advice to someone
out there that's listening to Fox Sports Radio. We're like
people sliding into your d ms like Pete Rose head first,
Hell would flop it off head first. We're at Covino
and Enrich, by the way, on social media at Covino
and Rich. I wonder what Pete Rose feels about all
these young guys wearing oven myths on their hands when

(18:25):
they're sliding back in my day. Yeah, but you know what,
young players didn't you know, clap back the way they
do today either, And you know, I feel like there's
a lot of disrespect from the young players when the
older guys are just doing their job. Yeah. I guess
it's broadcasting, and I'm saying there's two analysts. Is the
game that they're playing to the previous story? You know,

(18:47):
you see a lot of these and I think it's
a week come back. You're old, so it doesn't matter. Why,
Why doesn't matter? They're talking about a different era. I
don't like that perspective. There's a guy that we've worked
with that I love, but I think you're going exactly
where I was alluding to. When when I see our
old pal because I respect him, he's always been cool

(19:08):
to us, Mad Dog Russell from Serious Sex Am when
I see him on first take with Stephen A and J. J. Reddick.
They dismissed this old guy opinions. But he's Bob Couzy.
Bob make it not you know, relevant just because yeah,
tell me Bob, let me tell you right out, Bob Cozy.
And like, no, Steph Curry, imagine anyone in the NBA

(19:31):
right now. But he's talking about in that time. And
but you know what, are young guys quick to do
like dismiss him because they're old. I don't think that's
cool either. So it goes both ways. Back to the
previous conversation, but ahead, continue Caoe Montana was my hero
as a boy. He had a dad bud. Do you
think Joe Montana would be physically ready to play in
the NFL? The guy was running there a Well, let's

(19:53):
get to this advice because this seems time sensitive from
Drew and Nashville. This might be the first advice segment
on Fox Sports RADI on a long time maybe ever,
He goes commne on Wretch love hearing you on Fox.
Please address this and get some feedback. My wife plays
co ed softball for her firm. I love sports and

(20:14):
admire her staying active. This morning, she texted me saying
she wouldn't be home for dinner because she was going
to the batting cage with Jake and then meeting some
coworkers for drinks. Now, Jake is an associate at her
law firm who I met at the Christmas party. And
this guy is a typical player. She said, they're just

(20:35):
grabbing food and meeting more people. Love you, babe, And
this is from Drew and Charlotte. He's like, do I
do I even? Do I just not say anything? Or
would you be okay with your wife or girlfriend going
to the batting cage and getting drinks with a guy
on her co ed softball team? Well, you know the
old saying, what a lot of it. What's good for

(21:00):
the goose is good for the gander. You know, how
would she like it? Is? My first question? Would it
be okay if he was going through the batting cages
with with Wanda Flanda taking it back to the regal
bag that's g okay, good Jason? What do you think? Man?
Would you be would you if your girl said I'm
going I'm going out for drinks into the batting cage

(21:20):
for our coed softball team with uh Jake for work. Yeah,
it sounds like the way he the way he describes
Jake from Work is the way Eddie Murphy described Dexter
Satan Jock when his wife went to the Caribbean Island.
Remember about that. But yeah, because because going to the
cages implies that he's gonna show her a couple of things,

(21:40):
you know, maybe get behind her and be like you
need to position your fields like happy and Chips Peterson. Yeah,
it sounds like there's a lot more going on there.
And and then the drinks. Yeah, I would say this
is a I'm not a jealous guy at all, either
of mine, but this gave me raised the flag. Yeah,
but you know, just for you know, Devil's advocate. I'll

(22:03):
be Keanu. But she is being honest, she's being she's
being fourth right and honest. But that seems like it's
crossing the line. I'll being Pacina. Um so, so, I mean,
you can hit us up at Kobe Unrich. I don't
know what to tell this guy, but I thought it
was an interesting one to bring up. Read it to
me again, though, I'm serious, I feel like I had

(22:23):
a few thoughts when you were reading it. This is
from Drew and Charlotte said, my wife plays coed softball
for her firm. I love sports and admire that she
stays active. This morning, she texted him saying that she
wouldn't be home for dinner. She'd run late because she
was going to the batting cage with Jake and then
meeting coworkers for drinks. Jake is the one associate he

(22:44):
remembers from the Christmas party, sort of being like the
player type. Yeah, and his nickname isn't the snake. So again,
if you are a non jealous guy a non jealous woman,
would you still be okay? Man? Jason hit the nail
on the head. The batting cage does require like let
me adjust your stance. You guys are making it worse,

(23:10):
It's all. I mean, listen it. I need more. I
need to talk to this guy. I have questions, but
John's making it worse saying that he's going to help
her adjust her swing. I mean it sounds it sounds
to me like this guy and has never told his

(23:31):
wife about his feelings towards Jake. That's his name, right, Yeah,
but you know what, that's all. That's always how it starts.
I don't know, I know, I know, I kind of
agree with what you're saying, like this seems like the
beginning of something. Yeah, like you look at any failed
relationship I've been in, right, I feel like the seed
was always planted that you know, Chad said, Chad did this,
and like who's chat? You know, she ends up with chat.

(23:56):
So you know, again she's bringing up Jake and I'm
not gonna be home for day her like, oh, I
would have been nice if I been invited yesterday or
been invited or why can't I come and take a
few Let me just help you adjust your batting stance.
You're gonna have to let me get your elbow, move
your leg could you touch your legs? Like it's come up?
I know what Jake's game is. Yeah, I think he

(24:18):
that's what he should say. He should be like, oh great,
I'll meet you. It would be really cool if you
you know, has your husband ever helped you like this? Oh?
My god, No he hasn't. And by here to help.
Why isn't the husband invited? Why don't you invited to
the drinks? And and by the way, why don't you
on the co ed softball team? Yeah? You know, I'm

(24:39):
I'll be the first to say, I play way too
much softball. It's like, I just love staying active with
that stuff. Co ed teams. I'm like Charles Barkley speaking
on behalf of all old heads. I'm I'm speaking on
behalf of every guy. When you play co ed sports,
your first thought is they're gonna be cute girls on
this time. That is every guy's first thought. So if

(24:59):
you and that's probably what Jake is thinking too. I mean,
I play coed volleyball and we go out for drinks
a lot. But like you're trying to tell me when
you started that you don't think the guys on your
team like, oh, who's moms don't think that? Come on,
we're checking her Instagram out immediately. She's successful, she's she's
she's smart and talented and beautiful, works for Fox Sports.

(25:21):
Oh my god, Monsey, come on, Well, when as we
played co ed with like eight years ago, so I
didn't have this job. But I I get what you're saying. Um,
you know that I don't like the text at all.
I don't like it at all. He should feel uncomfortable,
but he needs to say that, and he should just
invite himself. Just show up it's the one on one
nature of what's going on here. Then they're going out

(25:41):
for drinks afterwards, like a slippery slope. You know, they're
gonna create little inside jokes. Then they're laughing about the
batting cages that drinks later on. Remember remember when that happened.
Oh yeah, that was great. And then we live ran
out of token. Remember when your helmet fell off? Hen that,
Oh my god, remember that one ran out of token.
Oh my god. That was our first struggle together. Remember

(26:03):
that this just sounds dangerous again coming from experience, I
could tell you how many times the seed was planted.
Sometimes I feel like it's it's a person, not necessarily
a woman's. It's a person's way of planting a seed
that they might not even be aware of, but like, hey,
someone else is interested plant because so many times when life,

(26:24):
it was always that person that was brought up in
these type of scenarios. You and I hear. I am
being the trusting guy because you don't want to overreact,
because sometimes when you overreact, you push them in the
arms of that person. But you know, I think it's
something he should keep an eye on. That's the best
advice I could give mons As you give us the
update home, let me write him. Dear Drew Moncy definitely

(26:46):
says your wife is sleeping with Jake or about to
and you just show up to dinner and you should
crash dinner. Love coming on Red. There you go, what's
going on? Listen. In the NFL Big News tied to end.
Rob Gronkowski decided to retire for the second time via
social media. He is only thirty three years old. Is
he really retiring? That is up for debate. Uh. He

(27:07):
did retire in ten because of injuries with the Patriots,
but he came back obviously in twenty with Tom Brady
and the Bucks to win his fourth Super Bowl. Tony Buzzby,
the attorney representing twenty four women who are suing Deshaun Watson,
has announced the twenty of those women have settled. The
remaining four will go to trial. My wife is playing
flag football with the Shawn Watson are so so stupid.

(27:32):
In NBA news, Houston Rockets is John Wall has picked
up his forty seven point four million dollar player option
for the season that's coming up. The Rockets are still
going to continue to seek out trade scenarios in the
coming weeks. But they're expected to work with wall on
a contract buy out if a trade cannot be found
or agreed on now. Later today we do have the
giants taking on the braves at seven twenty pm Eastern Time.

Aaron Judge, who leads the majors with twenty five homers,

(28:16):
will not play. It just seems like it's a maintenance thing,
nothing big. He's just not going to play tonight. Just
f y I for that and obviously p G a
more news, brooks kept Cup has become the latest golfer
to leave the PGA Tour fill the Live Golf series.
Lift Golf has now signed eight of the top fifty

steel blades for swift hair removal and lubricating strip that
keeps things smooth. Dollars. Shaved Club razors are sold at
Dollar Shave club dot Com or in stores. Thanks Doug,
back to you guys. Thanks MONC definitely thinks that this
guy's in trouble. Huh, Yeah, I'm thinking about I'm still

(29:01):
thinking about that. You gotta put yourself in and Drew's sue.
I imagine he wears crocs because what type of man
will put up with that? True? Honey, I'm going out
with another guy tonight, banding cages, drinks later. Oh, it's like,
but I cook, honey. Yeah, it's a tough one, that's
how true. And it's a shame that. Oh you know,

(29:23):
people can be friends, but that's also how things start. Yeah,
it's it's dangerous. It's dangerous. Thank you, True for hitting
us up. You can chime in at Covino and Rich.
We'd Copino and Rich and for Doug Gottlieb Box Sports Radio.
Appreciate you hanging out with us today. I hope you're
having a good one. Taking a peek at the all
star voting so far. You know what, baseball has so

(29:45):
many emerging stars that isn't the party that feels like, man,
can we must do a better job getting these guys
out there, Like I'm just looking at some of the
vote getters Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Vladi Guerrero Jr. Even
in the n L I when tattoos is healthy, like
Pete Alonzo, like there's there. We are in a time
right now where there's a lot of big superstars. But again,

(30:08):
I think Major League Baseball fails to really propel them. Well,
it's also the drama right of the n b A.
Like we said, the star power, They're on social media
all the time. I'm gonna put themselves out there. I'm
gonna we feel like we know these players more. As
a result, the NFL, the off season is always hot, again,

(30:30):
filled with trauma, people putting their opinions out there. Baseball
is a little too buttoned up and too many, too
many old rules that get in the way. I think
also coming up because you and I are big baseball fans, yeah,
I think a lot of it has to do. Also,
we grew up in New York, and if you grew
up in New York. It's a baseball talent, right, of course.

(30:51):
I I hate this because my worst fear would be
the Mets finally make it to the World Series and
loose to the Yankees again. But I feel like the
the greatest matchup. I mean so right, Dodgers fans, I
know this to hurt your feelings, but if the Mets
are healthy in the pitching department, the best matchup that
baseball could ever ask for is what does that Yankees
lineup do versus a healthy Max Scherzer and Jacob Degrass.

(31:13):
If Alonso came out publicly and said that would be
great for baseball if that happened. But again, the last
time they were in the World Series together, it was
so weird, man, And you know because it was. It
was something we all fantasized the badest kids. Imagine if
the Mets in the Yankees and it happened. It was
weak sauce and weak for you. Mets lost, but that

(31:35):
was that was as excitement of the Yankee of the
Yankees dynasty that was there one like eighties something win team.
It was even like an off year for that dynasty,
and it just stunk. So hey, I think it could
be good for baseball, could be good for baseball, even
though you and I would be at odds for two weeks.
But Mac, what are you gonna do? Hey comming on
rich In for Doug Gottlieb. But we have more next

(31:57):
right here on Fox Sports Radio. Fox Sports Radio has

(32:23):
random story that we could end with if you want,
coming on rich and for Doug Gottlieb at Cobeing on
rich And you can always chime in at Fox Sports
Radio social media. Ex Yankee picture. I don't know where
else he played. You remember the career path of Kyle Farnsworth.
Well that's a good one. You give me a little

(32:44):
on the spot, on the road again, on the road again.
I'm thinking he was a ranger maybe or something. Let's say,
let me think a look, he was a copy. He
was a cubby good one. He went around the league.
He was he's been around. He was. He was a
Cubs reliever. But he was also likes to fight guy.
He would he was a guy that would would hit

(33:07):
guys that would show up a little bit. You know.
I know that part of his reputation, no doubt, but
his his like resume, it's a good one. Well it's
a tough one. I'll tell you why, because he's been
on a lot of teams. Cubbies, Detroit, Atlanta, Yankees Detroit again,
Kansas City, Atlanta again, Tampa, Pittsburgh. I don't even remember

(33:29):
he paid for every team that I mean except for
the one I mentioned. You had a one and thirty
chance and no, he played like nine teams and you
mentioned on the road again though play often on and
rich He played sixteen years in the bigs. Not great stats,
but he was around. He got around. But the only

(33:51):
reason I bring him up. If you go on TMZ sports,
Kyle Farnsworth reveals insanely jacked physique. He's a bodybuilder now,
but I'm not talking like yo, he did some CrossFit jays.
Look at the pictures. If anyone just find their way
to TMZ sports, look at Kyle Farnsworth. Yo, he's jacked.

(34:17):
His abs got abs? Oh wow? Yeah, he really is jacked,
like not a little bit. So a very rare bathroom selfie,
says Kyle on Twitter. Four days out of my first
bodybuilding competition, pathroom selfie. Hey can I go on my
little rent though? You see, you've seen, you've seen some

(34:38):
big linemen when they retire, they get all you know, slim,
they're all like, you know, they changed their physique. But
this guy was an MLB picture and he looks like
someone that is in one of those competitions. Well you
know what, man like you said just now, it could
go one of two ways. So he's choosing to get
jacked and become a bodybuilder, and then the alternative is like,
have you seen Carlos built it on re Lee? Dude

(35:01):
got big? Yeah, don't get Carlos. So you know he
he looks fit. That's that's great, But I want to
I want to make a point because you're talking about
his bathroom selfie. I've made this point before, but clearly
I've got to make it again. If you're on that
Kyle Farnsworth trajectory, because it's jawline season, you know you're

(35:27):
trying to get in shape here in l A. Especially,
it's the worst. Again, We're we're East Coast guys, but
we're here in l A. Trying to maintain. Really, that's
all Rich and I really trying to do, trying to maintain,
trying to stay TV ready, right, I'm doing the curls
for the girls. I went to the gym yesterday. But

(35:47):
you know what else I did. I went to Taco
bell after. You know, I'm on the peck deck, the
pecks for the sex. Oh yeah. So I'm just trying
to do my thing. And as our old pal Spot
would say, it's a workout bench, not a text bench.
I see more people texting and doing Jim selfies then

(36:10):
there should be. It's like, I'm here to work out,
not be a part of your photo shoot. That has
to stop. It really does, because it comes back to
this age old question that you and I post. Are
you sharing or bragging? Like? Why do you? Why do
people post this stuff all the time. Here's my Jim
workout bathroom selfie. How full of yourself do you have

(36:32):
to be? And that's coming from an ego, man, So
you don't want to see this girl's squad routine. Look
at that. Now, you can't say no Jim selfie unless
you're hot in the eyes of it. That's a good point, no,
But seriously, though, like it's really a problem, dude. It's
like we used to be considered guys with big egos.

(36:53):
I would never do something like that, even if I
was ripped like Kyle Farnsworth. Well, it's gonna go to
the gym. Wherever you go to the gym, you you
will see at least one person sneaking a gym selfie
where someone recording their workout. Women here and in l
ain't got ring lights at the gym. It's like, yo, seriously, Yeah,
I'm just trying to do a quick workout. To answer

(37:15):
your question, though, it is it sharing or bragging? It's
definitely bragging. And my favorite woman selfie And I don't
mean to be sexist here, but it's it's when they
take a picture of themselves and they're popping out of
their dress and their their comment is my hair is
a little frizzy today. We're definitely looking at your hair. Yeah.

(37:38):
The turtles, no one's looking. No one cares about Oh
there's a turtle in that photo. I didn't even notice.
What was that the old picture that it's like a
ten year old meme where it's a girl crossing a
street but there's a dog driving the car, but no
one notices the dog. I was joking my wife because
there's one pose in particular. I'm like, babe, if you

(37:58):
ever do this, I want to hate. Please don't do this.
When women post a photo where they're like trying to
be quirky and biting their tongue or lip, like like
like did they do this like tongue biting thing? I
don't even know what that is. I wanna just make
it clear. And I'm glad you answered, Jason. Before you
post anything, you have to think before you post, right.
We see it burn a lot of people in sports.

(38:20):
People just say stupid things and get them in trouble.
If you ask if you think people think before they
post you social media? Hey, right, think before you talk,
think before you post. Ask yourself this, are you sharing
or bragging? Same with vacation photos? Yeah? Are you shipping? Look?

(38:41):
I understand sometimes you want to flex a little bit,
but are you sharing or bragging? I feel like people
are just so way into themselves and fold themselves on
a whole different level where it's like, wow, okay, so
where are we living now? What are you gonna change?
With Kyle Farnsworth Bodybuilder, Now when you're at the gym

(39:04):
later and you're doing a Kyle Farnsworth flex. Just no, uh,
you're not alone. Coveno sees it every day. All right,
it's been fun filling in Forgottlieb. And let me just
tell you about Bett Rivers real quick. Check out the
latest lines from the world of sports at Bett River
Sports Book. Bett Rivers is the trust and name and
online sports betting gotta be twenty one, must be president

(39:27):
Comin rich all Riva there, gy baby, see you in
the promise. Have a good day everybody, By guys,
