On The Brian Noe Show, Brian dives right into the wild week in the NBA, particularly pointing out why the Timberwolves were basically high making the trade for Rudy Gobert. Despite the crazy news the NBA offered up this week, the college football world took center stage after USC and UCLA announced their move to the BIG-10 Conference. Plus, Brian tells us which two players miss a ton of games, but still has a ton a value. Then, one ex-NFL player had some interesting words for Jimmy Garoppolo.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're, oh, what's going on? Everybody lots to do this
evening slash this morning, very fired up to be here.
I'm just gonna cut to the chase. I'm gonna get
to our trusted producer, Ricky his nickname, which is Outstanding.
I'm gonna get to that momentarily. But let me start

(00:22):
off with this trade, the Minnesota Timberwolves trading for Rudy Gobert. Now,
at first, when I didn't know the details of this trade,
I just saw the headline of Rudy Gobert traded to
the Timberwolves, and I'm like, wow, look at the Timberwolves
getting aggressive. I kind of liked that. And then I

(00:43):
found out what Rudy Gobert was traded for. And Minnesota
is officially drunk. They are drunk high. What what are
they doing? So here are the terms of the deal
the Jazz as they're going to receive and return for
Rudy Gobert. The Jazz get four first round picks. Three

(01:07):
of those picks are unprotected. They get another first round
pick that is top five protected, and they get five players,
including Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, and Walker Kessler, who was
the first round pick this year. So essentially it's five

(01:27):
first round picks and four players. However you look at it,
it's a ton for Rudy Gobert. Now, don't get me wrong,
Rudy Gobert is a good player. He's just not that good.
That's the problem here. I love my Nissan Ultima. It's
a midnight edition, all black. If you know me at all,

(01:47):
my favorite color is black. I wear black all the time.
It's the metal in me. You know, I drive a
black car. I got a black foot, black black, black,
black on black. Love the color black. And so I
love my Niecean Ultimate Midnight Edition. But if someone was
trying to sell it to me for a hundred thousand dollars,

(02:08):
that's just way too much. It's not worth that. And
that's what I see with Rudy Gobert. I'm not saying
he's no good. He's a good player. He's a three
time defensive Player of the Year, lead the league in
blocks in ten and rebounds last season. He's a good player.
He's just not worth what Minnesota just paid for him,

(02:31):
not even close. And this is funny too. So every
now and then they'll dig up a tweet or some
comments from the past, and it didn't age too well
that type of thing. So this is Anthony Edwards, former
number one overall pick of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He's now

(02:52):
teammates with Rudy Gobert, but NBA Twitter dug up some
comments for in the past when Anthony Edwards wasn't a
teammate of Rudy Gobert. And this is what Anthony Edwards
had to say about Rudy Gobert a little while ago
before they became teammates. Listen to this was Gobert a

(03:14):
factor there and it seemed like you guys were getting
there and he wasn't affecting as many shots and it's
just just missing him. I think he was in in
people's heads, like just he wasn't even blocking shots for
a long thing. I think he was just people was
just going to the rim and it was just how
they got Rudy gober I'm saying. I'm telling them, like
he's the same as anybody else. Like to me, the

(03:35):
best riperty game in the league is prosing. Is like
anytime I go percing is I don't get no layups
like I was in so like I don't get why
we could finish on Rudy Gobert, but don't share in
my heart. I mean, yeah, I don't know why. I
find that to be hilarious. If you take nothing out,

(03:56):
there's a little shout out for Portsdingis of all players.
That was interesting thing. And then also he Anthony Edwards says, yeah,
Rudy Gobert doesn't put any fear in my heart. I
don't know why we weren't finishing, you know around the
rim on that guy like what are we doing? Their
teammates now, So take that into account. This is an

(04:17):
all in move and look, you go all in for
pocket aces, you go all in for pocket kings. Rudy
Gobert in today's NBA for his role, he's like, I
don't know, King Jack suited, maybe something like it's risky,

(04:37):
it's risky going all in with that. I don't know what.
That's a good question for the poker players out there.
What Texas hold him hand? Would you equate to Rudy
Gobert the basketball player? Hit me up at the No
Show and oe is where you can reach me on Twitter.
I'm very curious. I have to think about that. Rudy
Gobert maybe like, uh, Jack hen suited something. Maybe that's

(05:02):
a little too disreflect disrespectful. I thought my first hunch
King Jack suited pretty legit. But here's the other question,
and I'll get to ball here in a second. So
I'm a full disclosure. I am dining on on cheese.
It's and mountain dew right now. Now here's the deal.

(05:24):
The mountain dew is very flat. It's very flat. It's
still succulent, don't get me wrong, but it's flat. You know,
it's one of those deals. Had it in the car,
car is hot, Now it's back in the fridge. That
the dude's flat. You know, it's a twenty. But the
cheese it's are so tasty. The flat do it tastes
even better. So apply that to basketball. Rudy Gobert is

(05:49):
a good player, but he's not a superstar. He's a
little bit like flat do right, A little bit like
are the Timberwolves like cheese at quality? Here? Now, if
you don't think highly of cheese, it's you gotta rethink life,
first of all. But just follow me on this one.
I think Jesus I have them very high on a

(06:10):
pedestal if you don't find but just for the sake
of this comparison, just put them on a pedestal. Do
me a favor. Are the Timberwolves of high caliber, high
quality where they can get the best out of Rudy Gobert,
who is not a superstar in a little bit like
Flat Mountain Deuce. Still very good, still very good, but

(06:30):
not the best, right, not close to the best? I
don't think so. I don't think so. In the pecking
order of the West with the Warriors, the Clippers are
in the mix. Where does this put the Timberwolves. It's
an all in move for a guy who's good, but
they significantly overpaid, and I don't think this puts them
over the top. I think this reeks of desperation, to

(06:53):
desperate move by the Timberwolves. On Brian no Here on
Fox Sports Radio. As I said, let's shift gears here.
Two ball. Actually it's a hybrid. It's football and basketball mainly,
it's actually every sport. Because USC and U c l A.
It is official. They are leaving the back twelve Audio Smocaos,

(07:14):
Hello slash Ola, Big Ten, USC and U c l A.
They are bolting for the Big ten in their applications
have officially been accepted. It wasn't exactly a cliffhanger there. Well,
the Big Ten accept these storied broke yes, they will actually,

(07:37):
so let's focus on the Big Ten for a second.
This is smart, but they are some shady bastards if
you just review this thing. So the Big Ten, they
were outspoken against the SEC grabbing Texas and Oklahoma. They
got all huffy and puffy, they were miffed. Uh, the

(08:00):
upsets the balance of college football? What the hell? Yeah
the yeah? So what did the Big Ten do? They
poo pooed that move, and then they went out and
they formed an alliance, that's right, a lock solid alliance
with the A C C and the Pack twelve. Yeah,

(08:21):
that conference that the Big Ten just shanked while crabbing
USC and U c l A when they bemoaned the
SEC for grabbing Texas and Oklahoma. So, as you can see,
it's a very smart move by the Big Ten getting
USC and U c l A for obvious reasons. Those

(08:42):
are storied programs in southern California. It's huge for the
Big Ten. Huge, So it's a smart move. But they
are some shady, low down bastards, that's the truth of it.
They are hypocrites. They are shady. They form an alliance
with the Pack twelve and then shank them for arguably

(09:02):
their two most storied programs. That's wow, okay, all right,
no shame in the Big ten's game over here. But hey,
money talks, not just for the Big ten, because they're
gonna be profiting big time from USC and U c
l A and that foothold in southern California that is monstrous.

(09:22):
And then also for the two schools USC and U
c l A. The deal with the Big ten is they,
along with the SEC their television deals, they are dwarfing
the competition, dwarfing the competition. Big ten schools they'll soon
get paid a hundred million dollars per year. That's right.

(09:44):
And according to USA Today, the payoffs for the Back
twelve not nearly as good, not nearly as good. They
fell from thirty three point six million in two to
a piddli load down lint in the pockets nineteen point
eight million dollars last Year's think about that. Last year,

(10:07):
all these schools are getting paid roughly twenty million dollars now,
USC and U c l A bolt for the Big ten,
where they're gonna make around a hundred million dollars. That
is called quinn tupling your money. I don't even know
how to say it. I know, tripling, quadrupling, I Quinn
tuppling is that I don't even know what it is.
It's that much money you are greatly making the bank

(10:31):
account go up up. Now. There are a lot of
layers to this, and we'll hit on a few of
them throughout the show tonight. But I don't want to
hear any negativity toward athletes taking the money when it
comes to N I L deals. When entire universities are
taking the money by joining conferences, it is just that's hypocrisy.

(10:53):
One oh one, right there, Oh, this is n I
L is changing the landscape, changing the landscape? How about realignment?
Coming at just a blistering pace. It's hard to keep
up with this? Who's going where? We could have a
pop quiz later in the show. I could just name
a team and be like, hey, where is this team

(11:14):
gonna be playing in? Like real fast, where is U
c F playing in? If I wasn't looking right at it,
I couldn't tell you. I can't keep all this stuff straight.
You CEF is gonna be in the big twelve. Next year,
you've got nine schools leaving Conference USA. Four teams are

(11:34):
joining Conference USA. You got Texas, Oklahoma, USC, U, c
l A, you know, the big time schools. But there's
so much movement you can't keep up with this. And
that's why I compare it to the NFL. That's where
it gets goofy to me. What if the NFL was
doing what college football is doing. What if the NFL

(11:55):
you're just like, oh, yeah, Rams and forty Niners NFC West.
Now actually they're going to the a FC East. You
didn't catch that news bulletin over there, you'd be like,
what why? Or just geographically, you've got USC and Rutgers
in the same conference in the Big Ten. Think about that.

(12:18):
Think a far apart those schools are. It wouldn't make
any sense whatsoever for say, the Rams and the Patriots
to be in the same division. That makes no geographical
sense whatsoever. But that's where you get into how the
NFL and college football are so dramatically different. In the NFL,

(12:38):
you've got team owners, you've got a commissioner, you have
a structure. In college football and really just college athletics.
But I'm honing in on college football. It's also college basketball.
It's college every sport but football and basketball. That's what
drives the revenue. You don't have the n C double
A just fitting a top and saying it actually doesn't

(13:02):
make any geographical sense for USC to be in the
same conference as Rutgers. So here's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna have USC over here on the West coast
in this super conference. If we're migrating towards super conferences,
it'd be better if it made geographical sense. But that's
just not where we're at. It's the wild wild West
right now in college sports. So hey, just buckle up

(13:26):
for more craziness, because this is not the end of it,
all right. Coming up next, we will get to producer
Ricky's nickname, which I'm thinking we just call him this
from now on instead of Ricky because this is top
shelf quality. Also, a team that one big without landing

(13:47):
a top player. Some details on that. Feel free to
check in. Always always welcome over here eight seven seven
on Fox, also on Twitter at the No Show is
where you can me up. I'll have it for you.

top player, I'm Brian, No, keep it locked right here

Jason McIntyre on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast,

(14:55):
on Fox Sports Radio, so I don't want to bury
the lead here. I'm gonna get to the Houston Rockets
possibly winning big based on how the dominoes might fall
in the next couple of years without landing a top
player this offseason via free agency or a trade, anything
like that. Right, I do like Jabari Smith going over there,

(15:18):
but I don't want to bury the lead over here
are trusted producer Ricky does a tremendous job. He informed
me right before the show began that he had a nickname. Now,
when was this said nickname? Rick uses high school? Grade school?
When was this high school? High school? And can you
tell the people what you were commonly referred to as?

(15:42):
Among my friends, they would call me little cheese it,
little cheese it. Now why would this be the case?
I brought my lunch to school and I would always
have cheese It's now. Now have you outgrown this nickname?
Should we bring it back from time to time? What
do you think about this? I've never I've never minded it.

(16:05):
Occasionally they still they still call me it and they
get they get a good laugh out of it. I
love it, by the way, You know me, I am
very fond of cheese it's over here, So I might
let that fly every now and then. You know what
I'm saying, Ricky, So great job by your friends, Very
good job, great branding. You know that's not a nickname

(16:25):
you'd take offense to. Very good job by them. Nice job. Okay,
I'm gonna get to the Houston Rockets here possibly being
big winners based on what's happening with Brooklyn, k D
requests a trade Kyrie Irving is probably gonna be gone
as well. So what do the Brooklyn Nets look like
next season? And in turn, how does that impact the

(16:46):
Houston Rockets where they have a slew of first round
picks because of the James Harden trade. Right, Rockets traded
Harden to Brooklyn. Brooklyn traded a ton of picks and
so deal which didn't look that sexy to a lot
of people at the time, where it was the same, well, oh,
you trade a superstar, you don't get equal value. You

(17:08):
don't get equal value. Look at where that trade is now,
Look at where Harden is as a player. Look at
where the Rockets are in terms of what they still
have left to get from Brooklyn. They have first round
pick swaps with the Nets in and seven, and they

(17:31):
also the Rockets have a pair of unprotected Nets first
round picks in so each of the next five years
it's either a pick swap or an unprotected Nets pick
that Houston has. So if the Nets, they're gonna trade

(17:52):
k D and get a lot for the guy, write
a lot. You just saw what Minnesota gave up for
Rudy Gobert. Good lord, the nets are gonna get quite
a bit for Kevin Durant. But if it happens to
be a combination of an all star now and a
lot of picks down the road, well the nets might
not be that good, and that could be one of

(18:13):
those picks could turn into a very good player for
the Houston Rockets. We'll see. But the Brooklyn Nets changing
on the fly. The huge news of k D saying yeah,
I want to be traded, that has a ripple effect
that could absolutely benefit the Houston Rockets. Just have to
see how it sorts itself out in the years to come.

(18:34):
Let me get out to the phones. Eight seven seven
nine nine on Fox is your phone number? This gives
me a great pleasure. My guy Sosa in the Portland,
Oregon area, I caught my first bass with this Guy's
a true story. I had yet to catch a bass.
It was missing on my fishing portfolio, and I went

(18:54):
out fishing with Sosa and actually hooked me two bass
on that fine afternoon. Sosa, how are things, buddy, be?
What's man? How are you? Everything's good? But man, it's
good to hear your voice. I heard you. I was
driving home from a birthday party and I was like,
is this Mike? I B And when you said feel

(19:14):
free to reach out, you know, I picked up the
phone and dialed it up. So it's good to hear
your voice. Man, listen, be outside the bass fishing because
you know I could talk that all day. What the
heck is going on in the world of sports, fee,
It's crazy these days. I mean, Brudy go bear for
all those picks? Are they nuts? Kyrie? We know he

(19:35):
might be nuts. I mean who knows? But now USC
and U c l A jumping ship after the alliance
the shank, like you said, So my question is what's
gonna happen with the Pack twelve? So they're still playing
in the Pack twelve this year U c L a USC,
But is that gonna affect them this season? Is that
canna affect the way the powers that be decides? Okay,

(19:58):
Pack twelve once again, screw guys. You're not in the
play in tournament or at the playoff or whatever they
call it. And then down the road does Oregon jump ship?
Do the Beavers? Does you dov? Or do they just
disappear to you know the toilet? Right it's just it's
really just an arms race. Right, These take the SEC

(20:20):
in the Big ten because they're in great shape. But
these other school these other conferences, a SEC, Big twelve,
Pack twelve, it's a race to see who can be
stable enough to withstand all this realignment. Right, So it's
really is it a matter of Washington and Oregon? Do
they jump ship and go somewhere else. If they do,

(20:41):
they're probably gonna fold all together. But if they can
grab a couple of schools and survive, then they're gonna
be Okay. It's just it's a race to see who
can do that with these other power five conferences. Right. Okay,
So I heard a report on the earlier radio show
that Big twelve already told Oregon or or maybe they
just put it out there, Hey we don't want you guys,

(21:02):
just so you know we don't want you. So what
are realistic options? Just? I mean, SEC doesn't seem like
it would be realistic for either side because argum don't
want to party in that with that button chevy weekend.
So what are the options? In your opinion? What could happen?
What do you think could happen next? May be realistic?
I think anything's on the table. And I think that's

(21:24):
what's interesting too, is let's just take Oregon right, you're
in this spot of we can go on offense and
pick a conference and sort of shift the landscape that way,
or we can just stay put and hope things work out.
So you might have schools go on the offense, just
like USC and U, C, l A did. And so

(21:46):
if Oregon says, you know what, let's bounce to I
don't know they bounce to the Big twelve or are
the A C C right, but they could shift the
landscape if they did that. It's just a game of
musical ears right now. That's really all it is. All right,
last thing, b what's Notre Dame gonna do? Because I've

(22:06):
heard some things like, oh, so and so's waiting me
here from Notre Dame and I didn't get the details.
But does this new realignment make Notre Dame think? Who?
We get major dough by ourselves. We could join one
of these super conferences and get even more dough without
having to share with anybody because they're getting their own dough.
Yeah yeah, man, And hey listen, dude, it's great to

(22:28):
hear from you. So so man, popall as well, buddy,
good stuff. Um yeah, with Notre Dame, I think you
just wait. I think you bide your time a little
bit because a lot of reports where we're we're shifting
towards mega conferences, maybe twenty teams in the Big Ten,
twenty teams in the SEC. So I think before you commit,

(22:52):
because you know they're gonna make room for you. Notre
Dame is listen. I'm full disclosure. I'm from South Bend, Indiana.
I bleed Notre Dame football. Okay, but put the rooting
allegiance to the side. Every conference would love to have
Notre Dame. It's a storied school. You're gonna get the ratings,
it's a get for your conference. They're gonna leave room

(23:15):
for you. It's not like the Big Ten is going
to maybe add a couple of other schools and then
they're like, sorry, Irish, we don't have any more spots.
You missed your window. Like there's gonna be room for them.
So I would just wait. I would wait a little
bit more. It hasn't gotten to the point yet where
if the Big Ten had nineteen schools in it and

(23:36):
we're shifting toward two super conferences, to mega conferences then yeah,
but as of right now now, I just I'd stay,
as Max Cavallero once said, yeah, that's a little jolt, right.
There's a little mountain dew for your ears right there.
Wake you up a little bit. All right, We've got

(23:58):
something else to wake you up. Brian Fenley, who is
here to spin us around the sporting landscape. What's going on?
Brian with the wife, fen Brian with an eye. Good
to talk to you here on a Friday night, if
you're on the West coast that is, let's dive into
some baseball to begin here where the Dodgers got it
done against the rival the Padres five to one. Tony
Gonsolin just incredible stuff this season on the bump. Tennan

(24:21):
oh is his record that is best in the National League. Twins.
Byron Buckston went yard in the bottom of the ninth
for Minnesota to run blast that led to a three
to to win over the Orioles. Christian Javier had four
strikeouts fourteen big beg my pardon or beg your pardon there,
that's a career high. As the Astros were all over
the Angels eight to one. The Mets are winners against

(24:44):
the Rangers four to three, as New York relief pitch
Edwin Diez has now seventeen saves on the season. Rowdy
Tellez victorious with his Brewers thanks to his five RB
I had a home run in a nineteen to two
drilling of the Still. I notice you're not putting the
S on r B I S there, Brian fly You
know there could be, Brian, a segment dedicated to sports

(25:08):
radio full on, just like going at it from one
side of the aisle to the other about r B
I S or r B I I was corrected once?
I used to say r bis Brian, who corrected you?
This was like when I worked in like local TV
back in many in Spokane or something where it was
considered because and you've heard this point, Brian, that nobody

(25:29):
says runs batted ins and that why would you say miscorrected?
You fen, yes, he was well actually, well, actually you
should say and he was wrong. There's nothing better than
when when than when? Well, actually, guys actually incorrect? You know, well,

(25:50):
how you never thought about the other side, or no,
I've thought about it. That makes sense. We'll get into it.
Will yell at each other a bit later. Sounds good,
and I'll leave you with this, Brian. As you mentioned
earlier in your Monoloue, Rudy Gobert headed to the Timberwolves,
and my goodness, the Jazz are getting a whole lot
in return, including four different players. You also got Walker Kestler,

(26:13):
this season's number twenty two overall pick, and then four
future first round selections. And so the Utah Jazz planning
for the future, and they sure got a lot for
Rudy Gobert. That's let's get it back to our man, Brian.
Know who says r biyes and not r BI. That's right,
And let the record show real fast here, Brian Finley,

(26:36):
where you're just you're pluralizing the initials, right. You're just
saying there are multiple runs batted in. That's all. When
you say r BIS there's multiple You're not saying runs
bad at ins. That's just a poor job of how
could I say it, of translating basically right, if you've

(26:57):
got HR for home runs, as a lot of people
will cut it down to that, why don't we see
hrs Like whenever you're seeing that being written out, we
only see oh he had to hr. We really don't have.
What do we have that's the the equivalent of R B.
I just that like in baseball, what do we have
E R A? Right? I guess I don't think you

(27:20):
would really say, because it's just one thing. Is e
r A. Now if you said, um, if there are
multiple players and you said, hey they're e r A
s are under two, that that sounds good, you wouldn't say, hey,
they're e r A is under two. That sounds weird.
See you're coming over to my side. I'm getting there.

(27:40):
I'm dipping the toe into the water a little bit.
So we'll see if you can continue to convince me
you're impressionable over here. Bryan Fin some guy in spokener
no no, no, no, no, you gotta say this way,
and you're like, okay, just don't be mad at me.
You know you see him impressionable, I say, I'm gullible
either way. Well, it's gonna be with you here. Likewise, man,
look sure, all right, let me get out to the

(28:01):
phones again. Paul. He's in Rhode Island. Our guy, Well,
you have white snake lyrics for us tonight we'll find out, Paul,
what's going on? Buddy? What's up? Right now. You're the
best man. Thank you. How's your family? Everybody good? Yeah,
they're good. Listen. I am happy without you know, without

(28:23):
disturbing the Celtics. You know, I'm happy what they did.
You know, Uh, Malcolm Brogden, that's a nice guest for them. Yeah. Man,
we've got to get to six and seven. Somebody off
the bench. You know, we we ruined what we we
we we started with this playoff series to turn offs.
Let's not talking about that. Let's talk about the money.
The money. The money is the Celtics have to keep

(28:47):
up with everybody else because, uh, it's just too much
money that's going around. You know, these brand players they
want to uh decide where they go when they want
to go. The deal is this, do not disturb the
Boston Shamrocks. Bring somebody on off the bench, off the beds,

(29:11):
you know what I'm saying. But let's keep the payroll,
you know, to a degree. It's it's gonna rise, it's
gonna rise. Um. Now, can I say something about what's
going on in the NBA as far as these young kids,
these young kids, I'm glad for them. You know, their
families get to um, you know, progress as they get

(29:35):
these contracts. The problem I have is the not many
kids from the South come up north. Uh And you know,
just in all different phases of professional sports. But when
you have general thing to say, though, Paul, you don't
have anybody from the South going up I think a

(29:55):
Brett Farve right from the South to north. You've got
plenty of dude from the South getting paid up north. Okay,
let's let's say I'm wrong on that part. But I'm
just saying, who wants to play in Boston. Let's let's
put that. How many players you know, I want to
play in Boston across all spots? Not many? Not many.

(30:17):
You know, if you if you draft low, they will
come to a brand team, a brand team like the Celtics.
But most of most of the time they're afraid to
come up here because of the money. We're just freaking
she And that's got to change because let me tell you,
I swear to God, my I swear to God. You

(30:42):
have five states up here supporting Boston spots. This this
stinginess has to stop because you're just taken. Look at
the Red Sox. They opened up their wallets. They've done
that numerous times. While John Henry is probably the uh,
the most uh, you know, without comparing the Patriots because

(31:05):
they won six Super Bowls on a cheap road. Every
story got paid, right, And look, look Belichick, he's very choosy,
very choosy with who gets the big cash. But that
has happened before. Yeah, and last year we did spend
on the Patriots. I'm not saying no, but it was
the first year. This year, I'll pick him second this year,

(31:25):
and and and most of all, I'm gonna say it's
just too much. Taken money from five states to support
Boston sports. It's cut By the way, Paul, by the way,
I gotta ask you before you go, are you a
fan of cheese? It's yes, of course, Paul, paul in
rod Allen, you know, on top of a crucifixsist in
r Allen, you know in all right, right, of course

(31:48):
I am. What does that have to do with cheese?
It's though, listen, I'm not snooking. I'm just yes, I'm
a friend. I am a friend of Jesus. Yes i am.
Can I just okay, let's end. No no no, no, no,
no no no you misheard me. You thought I said Jesus.
I wasn't talking about you know, big guns upstairs. I said,
she's it's you know the Sorry, sorry, sorry, Rick, I

(32:13):
misunderstood you. Listen. I don't want to be bored your
program because I am the serious contender in Rhode Okay, alright,
and don't forget my tool music in the background. Okay,
take care of those kids. Okay, take care of those kids. Okay,
it's a full time job. Okay, yeah, for sure, Paul,

(32:37):
thank you, all right, thank you. I don't have kids.
I hope to someday, but I don't. Um. I don't
know if he's talking about like the crew, right, you know,
I don't know. I'm talking about that man, actual kids.
I like that he can he misheard Jesus and heard

(32:57):
Christ Almighty. You know some it does sound similar. So
I get that. I'll get out to the phones here momentarily.
If you're there, hang on, I'll get right to you.
Eight seven seven on Fox is the phone number. Lots
of ground to cover coming up next. This is the
ultimate example of don't leave it in the hands of

(33:18):
the judges. You hear that in boxing and m m
A all the time. There's another example of that that
is the ultimate example of that thought. I'll have that
for you around the corner. I'm Brian no keep it
locked right here on Fox Sports Radio. Fox Sports Radio
has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch
all of our shows at Fox sports Radio dot com

(33:39):
and within the I Heart Radio app search f s
R to listen live. I'm Brian No here on Fox
Sports Radio. By the way, before I get to the
calls here, Chris, you've got some interesting musical tastes over
there is rage, one of our common likes over here.
Are you a rage guy? Yes? Well, I'm also playing

(34:05):
it because I don't know if you saw the story.
There was a soft rock format station in Vancouver, Canada,
and I guess what we didn't know at the time
was a lot of the I guess the story is
a bunch of their staff was being laid off or something.
I don't I don't know. All I know is that
people started noticing on Wednesday. I would think it was

(34:25):
like Kiss in Vancouver. I free, it's not Kiss FM,
but it's a station Vancouver. But they had decided they
were going to play Killing in the Name on repeat
for about I don't know, eight nine hours. I think
it was still going when I left the studio on
or what was it a soft it was they called it.

(34:47):
It was a soft rock format Canadian. Canadian formats are different.
But all they were playing was Killing in the Name
on repeat for hours and hours. People were calling in
and requesting other songs. I think someone called in quest
Slayer and the host slayer I don't even know her,
and then just played Killing in the Name of again,
and like eventually people got the hint and said, hey,

(35:08):
can I request Killing in the Name? And they just
keep playing it. No, no commercial breaks, just a couple
of like local like liners every now and then cut
to the DJ's taking requests. But all Killing in the
Name of Killing in the Name. It's there enough at
the end. I always thought there was no It was
just Killing in the Name. Yeah, no, I learned that
the other day too. I thought it was Killing in
the Name of as well, but it's not. Yeah, you're right,

(35:30):
Killing in the Name? Uh yeah. Always thought there was enough.
Learn something there, Thank you for that. Looking out to
the phones, Jerome is in South Carolina talking about this
college football movement realignment. Jerome, what's going on? Bud? Hey,
By the way, I got a nick name I used
to get called in the elementary school. But this guy, uh,
because when you were he used to call me poky

(35:51):
pig all the time, and I hated it. I hated it.
I wanted to fight this guy so bad, but I
never did because I didn't want to get kicked on
the hell of me at to school and I want
to get kicked off school anyway. So yeah, that's the
sleet mean Jerome then pretty much is what Ricky was
known as. Yeah, I hear you, Yeah, yeah, yeah, Ricky

(36:12):
tried getting called to pig for a long time. And
see see how many foot fights you get into. Because
I wanted to get into something but I never did.
But as far as this college football, it's getting to
be disgusting, man, I'm talking, and you know, I've been
following football for a long time, college football and all
of that, but it's getting to be pretty discussing with
all this mood and money. All they talk about money, money, money, money, money.

(36:36):
You know, it minds me of the old J song
I used to listen to. It's just getting to be disgusting, man.
Me uc l A and UFC, how they hell they
go end up in the midwes. I mean, and the
big twelve bar was the big candid big but I
don't even know what they call it anymore. What are
they doing? Man? All this money money? Come on, man,

(36:58):
it's a straight cash grap I get you. Man, it's
it makes no geographical sense at all, none. But hey,
that's just where we're at. Man, you're just gonna buckle up.
We're just gonna see more and more of this until
I don't know what the landscape is gonna look like.
It's just constantly changing. We're gonna have a couple of
Mega conferences pretty soon. That's just seems the way it's
gonna be seems inevitable at this point. But yeah, it's crazy, man,

(37:21):
it really is. I still I can't help but compare
it to the NFL. Imagine if you had this type
of movement. We haven't had realignment since what was it,
two thousand two, I want to say, when we switched it.
It's now eight divisions with four teams each. I think
it's all the way back in two thousand two. They
haven't changed anything. It's the same freaking thing since O two.

(37:45):
We see things change on a yearly basis. In college athletics,
college football, I mean, it's crazy how much things are changing.
You can't keep up with it. Man, it's too much.
We got Raphael in Long Beach. Let's talk some hoops.
What's going on, Bud? What's up, brother? How you doing?

(38:06):
Thanks are good man? You know what, Man, I'm a
little bit upset. I'm a San Antonio square fang. I've
been waiting many many years getting laughed at by everyone
because my team is doing nothing. Uh. And I still
believe in Popovich, but I don't know what's going on

(38:26):
right now. We traded our best player, we wave Gallinari,
everybody's leaving. We don't have anyone. I have no idea
what's going on. They're just bottoming out. This is I
don't know if they're gonna pull off and get the
new age Tim Duncan, but that's what they're trying to do. Man,
They're just bottoming out and trying to rebuild that way.

(38:47):
It's kind of like the It's a bit like the
Oklahoma City Thunder where they just they bottomed out. This
is Philadelphia. Trust the process, baby, that's what they're doing.
That's that's the only way you can read this. Because
all their guys Dijont Murray's gone. I like that trade
for the Hawks. But you get some picks in there.
You move Lonnie Walker the fourth right, he's gone. Like

(39:10):
it's like old Hawk Harrelson, the old broadcaster for the
Chicago White Sox. He gone, that's for the Spurs. Now
he gone, he gone. Anybody who's good he gone, Vanilla
Galan Gallinari. You're like, all right, good, Now they just
bottom out. He'll be on the move like that. I
hadn't thought about it like that, though. I think it's Look,

(39:32):
being a fan of a team that stinks is hard.
I think it's even harder when the team has been
extraordinarily good, like the Spurs have been. They're racking up
titles left and right, and now they're completely bottoming out.
But that's the only thing that you can look forward to,
is if the Spurs are lucky enough to be on

(39:52):
top of the draft and get this phenom who's supposed
to be Lebron Like that's what they're trying to do. Man,
all right, coming up next. You can't leave it in
the hands of the judges. And a popular criticism that's
actually untrue. Oh what's going on? Everybody? Hope you're enjoying
your Saturday morning festivities here, lots to do, lots to

(40:16):
freaking do over here. So I actually got like sixteen
topics to do in this segment. I'm not gonna I'm
gonna keep it simple. I'm not gonna throw a sixteen
at you. Uh so we'll keep it short over here.
But um yeah. You ever hear this expression, I know
you have, don't leave it in the hands of the judges.

(40:37):
You hear that in boxing a lot, like maybe you
get some shady judges. If you can knock your opponent out,
you do it. Same thing in m m A. Don't
leave it in the hands of the judges. You never know.
Someone could be on the take, could be crooked, that
sort of thing. This is gonna sound critical, it really isn't.
But the story with Brittany Grinder just a couple of

(40:58):
quick points here. Her trial has begun in Russia, and
it caught my attention because she actually she showed up
in a Jimmy Hendricks T shirt. Shout out to Jimmy,
one of my favorites over there. That's right, Britney just
walked in blocking out Jimmy Hendrix. I don't mind it.

(41:20):
One of my favorite guitarists of all time. No problem
with that. It's a different look for a trial. But
there's a different situation going on over here. I look,
it's obnoxious, it's beyond obnoxious. What's going on with this
girl where she's been in jail for over four months.
If convicted, she could face ten years in prison because

(41:42):
you've got a little weed oil in a vape cartridge.
It's insane, but it is. It's the ultimate example of
you can't leave it in the hands of the judges.
We're talking about, Like, take the shadiest judge in a
boxing match, and there have been some shady ones shady

(42:02):
think about some of the fights that were just absolutely
stolen from fighters. Roy Jones Jr. In the Olympics, you know,
sweet Pete Purnell Whittaker, he was ripped out. It's happened
time and time again. Take any crooked, low down judge,
and that is nothing, nothing compared to freaking Russia. Like

(42:27):
they're just holding people hostage, using them as bargaining chips
for a swap of basically hostages. Uh, that's what they're doing.
But and this isn't to be you know, critical, because
it's a horrible situation for Brittney Grinder. But man, if
there's ever a country where you better dot your eyes
and cross your teas is if you find yourself in Russia.

(42:50):
You know what I'm saying. We all know it's crazy
what's happening, but man, you cannot leave in the hands
of those judges. Good lord, she's been In'sen and detained
since February. Think about that. Just detained in Russia since
February seventeen because of some Hashish oil. That's obnoxious. So

(43:13):
I'm not saying it isn't obnoxious. I'm just saying you
cannot give them any openings to royally screw with you.
And that's exactly what they're doing with Britney Griner. I
hope she's you know, she's back in the US and
free and all that, um. But man, that is if

(43:35):
you take nothing away from this, Uh yeah, I think
that's a mistake. And it's not just Russia, it's especially Russia.
But if you find yourself in a different area, man,
they they don't roll like us over there. It is
completely different. Night and day. I'm Brian no here on
Fox Sports Radio. All right, let me throw a couple
of other things at you real fast. Just gonna make

(43:57):
a couple of points. Baker Mayfield, he made a couple
of interesting comments the other day. Now, just two very
quick thoughts on this. The question came up about maybe
reuniting with his we're thinking as soon to be former team,

(44:17):
the Cleveland Browns with Deshaun Watson in this whole situation
hanging in the balance. How long has he suspended? How
many games? What could that lead to in terms of
Baker Mayfield. Here's what Baker Mayfield said. He was at
a football camp that he was taking part in. It's
his own football camp for the kids. Baker loves the kids,

(44:38):
like trick Daddy. Right. Here's what Baker had to say.
Would there be any chance of reconciliation there No. I
think for that to happen, they would have to be
some reaching out. But we're ready to move on. I
think on both sides. Okay, now real fast here. I
love this because think about it, Baker is in the
process of getting dumped. I think, if you've been dumb

(45:01):
before in your life, Now, if you said, if you
were asked a question like, hey, you're thinking about getting
back with your girl who dumped you? There are two answers.
It's either hell no, or it's oh, well, you know,
if she reaches out, yeah, maybe, But now I think
we're ready to move on. It's that first part from Baker.

(45:23):
I think for that to happen, they would have to
be some reaching out. I don't have to be some
reaching out. But I think we've moved on. Well maybe
if they reached out, I don't know. Maybe if they
hollered at me, then I don't know. I don't He's
leaving the door open because and this is actually I
want to applaud the guy. It's a glimmer of hope.

(45:43):
If DeShawn Watson was actually suspended for the entire season,
this is what the NFL is pushing for. We'll see
if it comes to that or not. But if he
suspended for the entire season, and the Browns said, hey, Baker, buddy,
I know, I know there's been some drama here, but
this is the best situation for both of us, suit

(46:03):
up for us in twenty two. What do you say?
Could be out of his mind not to say yes.
And the other point I want to make real fast here.
I hate hearing this and I've been hearing it quite
a bit. Only the Browns could find themselves in this situation.
Only the Cleveland Browns could find themselves in a situation

(46:25):
where they're on the hook for nearly nineteen million dollars
with Baker Mayfield. They're on the hook for two hundred
thirty million dollars guaranteed with the the Shawn Watson. And
it's likely that neither one of those guys is behind
center in Week one this season. And you hear only
the Cleveland Browns, I got news for you wrong. First off,

(46:46):
how about the Carolina Panthers. Just think about this for
a second. The Carolina Panthers try to do exactly what
the Browns are doing. They had Sam Donald still on
the roster. He's there on the hook for pretty close
to the same amount of money as the Browns are
with Baker Mayfield. It's a Louis over eighteen million dollars

(47:09):
for Sam Donald. Carolina picked up his fifth year option.
So in Carolina was in on the Deshaun Watson sweepsteaks.
They tried to land Deshaun Watson, They tried to trade
for the guy. They might not have offered him two
hundred thirty million dollars in guaranteed money, but I guarantee
it wasn't minimum wage. It's still gonna be a heck

(47:30):
of a lot of money over there. So this idea
of only the Browns. Carolina was trying to find themselves
in the exact same situation, but they didn't land DeShawn Watson.
So this idea that only the Browns could be the
Browns actually one by landing DeShawn, and I keep banging

(47:54):
this drum. I might be on no Island on this one,
but it just seems like everybody see is gonna be
looking at this Deshaun deal as if two is the
only thing to consider. It's crazy to me, DeShawn Watson
gonna be suspended for the bulk of two or all
of two. But I got a news for you. It's

(48:17):
beyond that. It's beyond just that one year. If you
just look at it from a football perspective, DeShawn is
one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Even if
he's suspended for the entire two season, the brown is
gonna be in a better position at their quarterback position
than Carolina is, Atlanta is all these teams that were
in on the DeShawn sweepstakes. Caroline Cleveland's gonna be in

(48:41):
a better position than all of them. So it's just
you're stuck in the moment right now. It's just the
here and now. And don't get me wrong, it's a
disaster right now. It's chaotic. He's gonna be suspended, He's
gonna be on the shelf for a long time, but
it's not gonna be for the rest of his career.
It's gonna be either the better art or the entire
two season and then life will move on. And I

(49:06):
don't know why it doesn't seem like anybody looks at
it like that. It's freaking crazy to me. You're you're
only the Browns wrong. This might be the worst trade
of all time. You're high. You're higher than the Minnesota
Timberwolves trading five players in four first round picks for
Rudy Gobert. If you think that's the worst trade of
all time, that says, though we're near the worst trade

(49:27):
of all time, stop making out to be the next
five years. It's a year. One year, I goodness, give
it a little bit of time. You know what's funny.
I'll say this real fast, and we'll move on. We'll
get to some of the calls. When you think of
a rookie quarterback, Okay, you don't overreact just based on

(49:52):
one year. Trevor Lawrence last year he didn't play well.
It was a disaster, not just his doing, but urban
my fire horrible, arguably the worst head football coach in
NFL history. It's a chaotic situation. Is everybody just out
on Trevor Lawrence's Oh, it's never gonna work out. Didn't
work out in year one, It's never gonna work out.

(50:14):
Like John Elways stunk in his first year with the Broncos.
Peyton Manning wasn't the greatest, right Like, look how their
careers turned out. The point is, don't overreact to one year.
We don't do it with rookie quarterbacks. Why would we
do it with a veteran quarterback in Deshaun who's proven
he's an NFL star who made some absurdly horrible decisions

(50:38):
allegedly off the field. I I don't know why we'd
overreact to one year as if that's going to be
the entire story the whole time. Doesn't make sense to me.
All right, let me get out to the phones here
as promised, Manuell my guy in Guardina wants to chime
in here, Manuel, what's going on but the Fox George

(51:05):
and show? And he Bryan, what is my man? You're
hyping up on this Friday night. Well that's good, man.
You gotta get hyped on a Friday night. You know,
if I'm putting you to sleep, that'd be bad. Never Never, Brian, No.

(51:28):
I wish you were on on Saturdays too, man, because
I'm honest, Man, I'm not a fan of a guy
on Saturday. But that's another story for another day. Uh,
I would understanding what that guy was talking about. The
college shorts held man, the college football or shake up.

(51:49):
I mean, it's getting pretty sick being in my book. Man.
You know, you guys are just chasing money like a
bunch of ambulance chasing lawyers. I mean, there's no more
to mician, man, Like, how the hell are you see?
And U c l A not gonna be a part
of a pack, Well, like that's almost sacrilegious. You feel me,

(52:12):
I do. It's weird to think think of college basketball.
U c l A has been college hoop's royalty, and
think about some of the teams are gonna be playing
now in the Big tenn. It's just weird to even
think about that. Yeah, man, I guess the lul walking
through that door and he is the tradition anymore. Man,

(52:32):
Carson Palmer would have beginning pan take by the Michigan
State Michigan Offensive Live, you know what I mean, or
defensive line. Yeah, I'm sounding like Paul now and I
haven't had a dream. What's you love, Paul? Your Boston
Shamrocks will be all right, don't worry. Oh so real quick.

(52:53):
Nobody wants to go to Boston because it's historically fiddled
with racist says guys love in bomb like they're going by.
Well that's an interesting comment though, Yeah, I hear on that. Man.
Well it's it might be part of it. I think
money talks, but yeah, no, it's interesting to consider that. Sure.

(53:13):
Hey Bryant, hey man, you keep up the good work.
I know you're on with our du Leef Salm tomorrow.
I'm gonna see if I could tune in, but uh,
it's for one day, man. You could be on fact
to back Friday and Saturday. Christmas is going to come
early for your boy and Matt Well and Guardina love
you my mare. Well, thanks Bud, love you back. Thanks

(53:36):
for the call. Man, Well good stuff. How about that intro?
That was odd couple esque, you know how Bruce sard
Uh enters the show, enters the chat. If you will
like that? I wonder if Manuel is doing any announcing
on the side, you know, gotta be some I don't know,
some youth athletics, you know, football game, basketball game, introduce

(53:59):
everybody based. Bollyward might be missing his true calling. Okay,
so now here's the deal, Ricky slash little cheese it.
I got a question for you. A couple of people
lined up, and I'm interested in some of the comments
that they have to say. Right, there's a Watson Mayfield comment,
a couple of a couple of people on hold. So

(54:19):
what do we do here? Normally the next segment is
dirt road Radio. Do we do we hold off on
dirt road for a little bit. Do we stick with
our original programming and go with dirt road? What do
you think? Well? You could you could split the next
segment into two. Yeah, but then we'd only have half

(54:40):
a dirt road radio, you know, I say, screw him? Um, okay,
how about this. We'll get to the uh non dirt
road calls a little bit later in the show, right,
maybe the end of the hour, maybe next hour. Um.
But dirt road Radio, it's what we do right around

(55:02):
twelve twenty on the West Coast each Saturday morning. So
the way it works here, if you're new to the program,
a lot of people will complain and be like, you
only cover the teams like the Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys.
This is your chance. It's your chance to talk Kent
State volleyball, Albany, Great Danes lacrosse. The more obscure, the

(55:25):
better big names, get them out, get them out. Not
for this segment. Deshaun Watson, big name left talking about
Baker Mayfield, big name, not in this segment, Not in
dirt road Radio. So the more obscure teams, the unpopular,
not covered too much. This is their moment in the
freaking sun. So if you want to take part in that,
feel free to hit this up. That's coming up. I'm

(55:46):
Brian No keep it lacked right here on Fox Sports Radio.
I'm Brian No here on Fox Sports Radio. Okay, So
it's one of these things here with dirt road Radio.
It's either growing in popularity just the momentum is building

(56:08):
and building or or any week is the week where
we're like, yeah, I think people are over it. We
should stop doing it. But right now the momentum seems
to be with us. We're just gonna ride the wave
as long as it takes us too great lengths over here, right,
So let's do it. It's another just scintillating edition of

(56:29):
Dirt Road Radio. Tired of hearing about the same old teams?
Do you want your team, no matter how unpopular, to
get some pop? This is your time to shine. It's
time for another edition of dirt Road Radio. Yeah, that

(56:52):
that is a mood setter right there. Shout out to
veto our imaging guy. There's a tremendous job. That is
top shelf quality right there. For an intro. You're kidding me,
I'm already. Let's go to Tommy in the Bronx here.
Welcome to it, another version of addition of Dirt Road Radio. Tommy,
what's going on, Bud? I'm gonna let you know I'm

(57:14):
on my dirt bike making this call, and thank you
for surrounding me with the welcome wagon him um. Bronx
Community College won the championship the City Championship in New
York city. Um tremendous area. Bronx Community College right right
outside the right field is a is a giant one
of the builders in the school. Every once in a

(57:37):
while you see the maintenance guy going up there fixing
the windows. It's like a Kirk Gibson moment. When someone
puts a baseball through the window, it's a home run.
And uh, right next to Bronx Community College, not too
far away is the Bronx Hall of Fame. Would anybody
walk around bragging that they're in the Bronx Hall of Fame?
I don't know to get up there. If you want

(57:59):
to take the train, you gotta take the four train
up there. And of course if you take the four
train up there, you basically put your life at risk,
especially if you're in on that four train late at night. Um,
not too far away is not That's the I'm not
get this mixed up now. Not leaving high school, leaving
college is not too far away. Leaving college. That right

(58:22):
field fence is right behind second base. So so just
a vision like the base pit between first and second
is like the warning track. If I would have went
to that college, right you guys would be talking about
me and the baby, me and the baby. So you
guys would be talking about By the way, I'm curious though,
its Tommy, what do you know the nickname of this

(58:43):
Bronx Community College baseball team? Oh? Of course, they're the Golfers. Yes,
and uh, the Bronx Community College. I mean not many
people you know put that on their list of you know,
I want to go there for baseball and every thing.
It is a it is a emphasize it is a
Division three junior college. UM tremendous history behind that school.

(59:10):
The only thing is, like I said, you know, you
basically taking a life in your hands. But up in
that area over there, you still have you have High
School Row, you have Woolton High School. You have the
legendary Clinton High School up there, the Bronx Side School
of Science where they those are the nerds go there.
The jocks would go to Clinton, they would and then

(59:31):
they would rob the kids going to Bronx Peide School
Science in New York City. That the kids a Bronze
Side School of Science were the only ones to actually
get a school bus because they were getting robbed. Those
poor kids. All right, we got it. We're on information overload, Tommy.
But I appreciate the phone call, man. We got a
lot there. Uh, it's the Bronx community college baseball team.

(59:52):
They're the Gophers over there, and shout out to them.
They want to chip. Yeah, and something about a short porch,
not short ports like the Green Monster and left over
there at Fenway. It sounds like the the opposite of
that over there in uh, the New York area, like
the Valley, I don't know, the valley, short porch and
right for a community college over there. Good stuff, good stuff,

(01:00:16):
all right. Dirt road radio is often running if you
want to get in here and shout out. A team
that is not populis publicized. That a talking point, especially
in the national airwaves. You know, it's overnight radio. When
we're doing the opposite of what we're pretty much supposed
to do. It's all good, It's totally fine. No worries here.

(01:00:38):
Brian Fenley will work him into the rotation over here.
He's got an award winning sports update for us in
the meantime. What's going on, Brian Fenley. Yeah, we'll dive
into to what happened, of course yesterday in Major League Baseball.
Some of the noteworthy games the Dodgers shell the Padres
five to one. Tony Gonslin, the starting pitcher for Los Angeles,

(01:00:58):
is now ten and oh on the sea, and who
saw that coming? Byron Buxton hits the walk off blast,
a two run shot on the bottom of the nine
to guide the Twins over the Orioles three to two.
The Astros staple the Angels eight to one. Christian Javier
fourteen strike counts as he was dealing it for Houston.
The Mets best the Rangers four to three. Edwin Diaz

(01:01:19):
pockets is seventeen seventeen. They so this season. The Brewers
just all over the Pirates nineteen to two. Just to
take a Brian no Term smacked him around a little bit.
Rowdy tell Us had five r b I the bravees,
Brian Onley, how many times I have to tell you this? Huh?
That guy in spoken Washington screwed you up for life,

(01:01:42):
that r B I it's r bies. There are multiple
runs batted in wrong with you, all right, you know,
but sometimes habits are hard to break, especially when they're
muscle memory. But you're gonna hold me accountable, and I
appreciate that. The shouting at you help, yes, yes, and
maybe an elbow to the face. You know, anything like
that would help to or just a kick in that. Yeah.

(01:02:03):
So the Braves obliterate the Reds nine to one since
the twenty four games below five hundred, and they seemingly
are having a great season unless they're not. ESPN is
reporting Rudy Gobert, of course, traded to the Timberwolves, and
there is a package that has headed back to the
Jazz in exchange for Gobert to Minnesota. It includes guys

(01:02:24):
like Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jared Vanderbilt, another player also
Walker Kessler, the twenty second pick of this year's NBA draft,
plus four first round picks in the future, So a
lot headed Utah's way. Finally, Cavan Looney is coming back
to the Warriors on a three year, twenty five point
five million dollar deal. He is a center and he

(01:02:47):
went to U c L. I had to make sure
I get that in Brian, No, back to you, my friend.
We will a little later in the show. Brian Finley
will get to your U c l. A Bruins. We
can't do it in this award winning edition of Dirt
Road Radio because that is big brand, big name. It
does not fit. We're talking ball, States softball, and Albany

(01:03:09):
Great Dane's lacrosse here in this segment, you know what
I mean, Like I'm thinking Joey Chestnutine, I'm thinking of
him being one of a name, but it's name. He's
one of the great athletes of the twenty one century.
Yeah he has uh. I know. He was on with
Big Ben Maller. We'll get to you a couple of cuts,
a couple of us soundbites from that interview. Here I

(01:03:30):
heard though, you might want to shout out a team
that it's not getting a whole lot of recognition. Brian Finley,
is are you talking about where my sister went to college?
Might be? Yeahs baseball, Hotti Totty first right, taking it home,
Taking it home. And you saw their record, Brian, the
beginning of the season, they were really struggling. They were
about to fire their head coach. Last team to get

(01:03:53):
in the tournament rights Big Getty. And this was a
team that was top five coming into the season, and
they put on his show. It's interesting, Brian, how you
see teams that are preseason ranks so high, then they
fall off and then they get back to what everybody
thought they would be at the end. It's not certainly
linear by no means, but they did what they were

(01:04:17):
supposed to do. And once again, now this is the
second team in Mississippi that when the college Baseball National
Championship Mississippi State. I guess that's some school in in
Starkfield where the where the cows are. Look at you
talking trash about Mississippi State because your sis went to
Old miss What's wrong with you? There's a difference. You know,
Old MS is a very you know, it's well manicured spot.

(01:04:41):
And yeah, and then you go to like the Farmland
area and that's where Mississippi State is. Wow, man, I
didn't I didn't know you'd be throwing shaded the bulldogs
over there. But here we are, by the way, while
we're talking about obscure stuff, and feel free to check
in eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That sometimes
happens during dirt road Radio where there's a minute left

(01:05:01):
and then we'll get nineteen calls and it's like, what
the hell are you guys doing earlier? Huh, where are you?
What we're talking about obscure schools here, Brian Finley, I'll
give you a pop quiz. All right, now, I would
not know this. Let me let you know right away
that I am like the late great Alex Trebek here
where I've got the answers in front of me. I
would not know this, So I'm not trying to set

(01:05:23):
you up for failure. Trust me, I'll be getting these
answers wrong as well. With all this college football realignment
was not jess college football with USC and U c
l A going to the Big Ten. I just started
doing a little bit of digging because there's so much
movement with these teams going to this conference and the
other teams going over here. I'm gonna give you a

(01:05:43):
couple of schools and you tell me which conference they're
about to go into. Okay, where do you think Charlotte
is headed? Next? Are they headed to the American Athletic Conference?
Look at you, very well, very well done. That is right, Okay, alright,

(01:06:05):
you're off to a a winning start over here. Very nice,
and we're just sticking with college football. It's just keep
it simple with that. No cheating, no cheating. There are
some producers that I can and Brian, as you know,
you've been in these studios where from this room you
can look at producers computers and when there's some sort
of trivia game happening that's on Google and I see

(01:06:26):
them call them out. Yeah, and no cheating, no group
cheating over here, because I know Ricky a k A
little cheese it he can. It's like he's Dusty Baker
giving you baseball science. He touches the nose the right
here and you know it's the A C. That's right. Okay,
here's your next one, Brian Fenway, where is Jacksonville State

(01:06:51):
getting ready to play? They are going to the Southern Conference. Man, No,
they are not. They are going to Conference USA. That's big. Yeah, yeah, Okay,
here's another one. I'm trying to make sure I know where.

(01:07:17):
It's a ridiculous. Okay, where is Old Dominion? Where are
they headed to next? So there they were in the
Colonial Athletic Well, it's confusing because like sometimes they're in
this and that at the same time, I'm not sure
because they were in Conference USA. They're on the move,

(01:07:40):
the move, and you're referencing just football. Yeah, just football.
I would say whatever conference I T T Tech is
going to, or University of Phoenix. No, I think that
I would go Brian with they're going to become independent.

(01:08:00):
That's a good guess. They're not going to be independent,
but it's very very fine attempt by you. They are.
They are going to the Sun Belt. They're gonna be
in the Sun Belt this summer. It's gonna be martial
Old Dominion and Southern miss in the sun Belt. That's
what I'm saying. You can't keep track of this stuff, dude,

(01:08:21):
Like all these teams are moving all over the place.
It's not just USC in U C. L A. Or
Texas and Oklahoma. You can keep track of that, but
these other schools, Dude, it's hard to keep it straight. Man.
I remember you remember the Big East when it had
all the big teams, and I know we're talking football,
but the Basketball Conference tournament Madison Square Guard and you

(01:08:43):
had every team in there, and seemingly Brian twelve out
of the sixteen teams. Back at the old Big East,
they were going to the n C Double A Tournament.
Why have we left those days? I missed those days.
I sound like an old timer, but it is very
hard to keep track of everything because, as you probably know,
this is only the start. There's going to be so

(01:09:05):
much more of an avalanche coming here in the next
couple of weeks slash months. Yeah, I know it. We're
going to see a ton of movement. Last one, last
pop quiz uh item for you here, Brian Finley. Okay,
this might be your your go to where is you
tep headed next year? Not this your next year? I

(01:09:29):
would say in the Mountain West conference. That's not true.
They're going to the A A C. I thought that
was your you know, I thought that was the hot
zone for you, you know, kind of like you're a
hitter like Mike Mike Trout or something. Don't give him
a pitch middle end. Don't do it, don't. I thought
the A C was your your hot area there, Brian.

(01:09:49):
You know I'm a big whack guy. Drop get that
cut up. Haven't ready When you're with us here, especially
in the Overna overnight, I'm gonna start to whackle off
right now. You're on there in the pantheon here, great drops,

(01:10:12):
Fox Sports Radio History. There's Chris going right to the computer. Right. Yeah,
he's not messing around, he's not wasting time, man, he's
cutting that up right. We might have it this segment.
Oh my gosh. Yeah, if we stall for a couple
of of seconds. Yeah, we might have that turned around already.
But very well done by you, Brian Finley. Very good job,

(01:10:35):
just uh like dipping our big toe and realignment. So
next year in the Big twelve college football, b Y, U, U, CF, Cincinnati,
and Houston, they're all gonna be in the Big twelve.
You know, this makes me wonder. Last thing I'll say
real fast is, uh, it makes me wonder if one

(01:10:55):
of these teams that they've got to pay a fine
to move, well, one of these teams just like say, oh,
I know we're scheduled to go to the Big Twelve,
but you know what, I think we're gonna go somewhere.
Does that happen? Does is there a team that's scheduled
to go to another conference and backs out and actually

(01:11:16):
goes to a different conference than that. I want to
be shocked if that happened sometime down the line. There's
also Brian, Michigan football was supposed to play U C
l A. And they in Michigan backed out and had
to I'm assuming they put out a bunch of money
to U c l A. And now if you look
at U c l A's football schedule, this upcoming year

(01:11:38):
they are playing three cupcakes in the nonconference schedule because
they were supposed to have a big dog like a
Michigan in there and last second they pulled out. So
even teams on the schedule within a year or two
are able to just say, hey, we don't want to
play you, we want something else. Yeah, that's crazy, man,
crazy times. I'm trying not to be grumpy with this because, uh,

(01:12:02):
you know, when college football, when the season rolls around,
it's gonna be great, as it always is. But it's
just goofy, dude. There's just too much movement and uh,
it doesn't make geographical sense either. I can't make USC
and U c l A in the Big ten make
any sense whatsoever. It's just a cash grab, that's all
it is, all right, good stuff. Feel free to hit

(01:12:23):
us up Dirt Road Radio. You had your chats sober.
It's over any small name teams. I don't want to
hear one from here on out this show, right, only
big name, big brands all that, But feel free to
hit us up eight seven, seven nine on Fox. We've
covered a lot of ground. One of the big names
we have not hit on yet. There's uh a lot

(01:12:45):
of talk about where this guy might end up, and
I don't understand why. We'll get to that right around
the corner. I'm Brian No. Keep it locked right here
on Fox Sports Radio. Fox Sports Radio has the best
sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our
shows at Fox Sports rad eo dot com and within
the I Heart Radio app. Search f s R to
listen live. I'm Brian No here on Fox Sports Radio. Yeah.

(01:13:08):
So I'm gonna expand on this at the top of
the hour about Kyrie Irving was to go to the
Los Angeles Lakers. I can understand that. I just don't
know why the Brooklyn Nets would make that deal. It
just doesn't make a whole lot of sense on the Nets.
And so I'll get you some sound. Stephen A. Smith

(01:13:29):
was talking about that on ESPN. I find that to
be an interesting story. But if you compare the interest
of in the league when it comes to Kevin Durant,
that reminds me. Remember the Bart Scott drop when he
said this, right, remember that, Remember the Jets they took
down the Patriots to go into the a f C
Championship game. That to me symbolizes the league, the NBA,

(01:13:54):
the interest. The phones are ringing off the hook with
teams contacting Brooklyn to try to get Kevin Durant. When
it comes to Kyrie Irving, it's more like this. I
don't know about you, but when I hear the good,
the bad, and the ugly music, it makes me symbolize
like tumbleweed and you know, just dust and wind. And

(01:14:16):
that's what it seems like in terms of the interest
in Kyrie Irving. Why would you be hitting up Brooklyn
like can we can we get Kyrie? Even the desperate Lakers.
I don't know that they're beating down the door to
get Kyrie over there based on the track record, but
I'll get to that more at the top of the hour.
Let me get out to the phones. Here, A couple
of people want to check in. Let me go to Gary.

(01:14:37):
He's over there in Connecticut. Got an NFL thought for us.
What's going on? Gary? You're on Fox Sports Radio? Hey
what man, I'm just you know something, I can't believe.
I'm just stepping out. I was gonna get something to eat.
You know, he's saving. Connecticut is very famous for pizza,
and here I am. We'll look listen only the Cleveland
Browns I mean, I know people say that. I know

(01:14:58):
the met fans always say only the met So only
the Jets, um, only the Browns. Start a quarterback controversy
over a quarterback was going to be suspended and a
quarterback that they don't want, that's I mean, that's Jet territory.
That's New York territory. When you start doing stuff like that. Um,
I'm really if you want, Brian, You've got a great show.

(01:15:19):
I like that dirt bike bike uh commentary you do
there with the show, that post in the show. Um,
I just want to know one thing from this audience, really, seriously,
has anybody out there ever considered the fact the reason
path Huchannon didn't get elected president was because obviously the
elections are raped and the voters of morons. Whoa dude,

(01:15:41):
come on man sports show here, Gary, I'm not talking
politics and no idea, no idea. You gotta know something
now nothing. Thanks for checking in, though, man appreciate the call.
That's nothing to do with anything right now. It's like,
I mean, look a little bit of the pot calling
the kettle black. I will go off of this sports
grid from time to time with uh, you know, the

(01:16:03):
food conversations, and I have some hard hitting questions for
Brian Finley from the food department lined up later in
the show. But no, not my wheelhouse right there. Sorry, Sorry, disappointing,
and I disagree. I disagree with the one sports thought
the Browns are getting collabored right now. That's only the
Browns would be in this position. No, Carolina tried to

(01:16:24):
be in the exact same position. Carolina would be thrilled
to be in the exact same position as the Browns
right now. And it's not ideal, don't get me wrong,
but it's just funny to me. I hear that all
the time, only the Browns would be here when Carolina
They've got Sam Donald from the same draft as Baker Mayfield,
who they still have on the hook for about eighteen

(01:16:44):
million dollars. So do the math on this. If Carolina
landed to Shaun Watson, he's gonna be suspended and then
Sam Donald might want out right like, it would be
the same situation as Cleveland. So I just find that
to be funny, with all these comments about only the Browns,
Carolina missed out on being in the exact same position

(01:17:05):
as the Cleveland Browns. So I would take that into account.
Let me get to Giovanni over there in Mississippi. Shout
out Mississippi. What's going on, Giovanni? Hey man's man, how
are you doing? Good man? Yeah? Man, I was calling
me to put my apen on. Everybody gets freaking out

(01:17:26):
talking about Boston, Boston, Boston. My old intake on that is,
hey man, no one wants to go to Boston because
you haven't one, nothing but one title in thirty thirty
seven years. And hey, l A got six in their
time period. So it's over with in the debate. And
they're just my respective on the whole. So so let

(01:17:47):
me ask you this. Now, you sound like you're more
of a Lakers guy than a Boston guy. Right, I
get it, but really put the put the rooting allegiance
to the side. Malcolm Brogden is a good player and
they were just in the finals. Who do you expect
a better season from Lakers or Celtics? Oh man, great, great,
take great, great table at the Eastern Conference feels and

(01:18:08):
I was doing. But I really expect the Lakes that
they get Kyrie. I want with the Kyrie sils and
without Kyrie I speak the sils only with the Kyrie Sift.
That's the only thing I say. Yeah, well, hey man,
thanks for checking in. Appreciate that. Giovanni. Yeah, hey, let
me go to real fast. Jr. Is in Texas, sneak

(01:18:28):
one in. What's going on? Jr? Hey, how you doing, sir? Good?
Buddy good. I'll tell you. Are you gonna eat for
him on tomorrow? Will you? Yeah, big man, on tomorrow.
I'm a state I'm sending a state guy. Anyways, my
quick question is, with all this movement be YU leaving

(01:18:49):
the Pact twelve, you know, with you cla USC, Uila
USC leaving, do you think maybe the state Senior State
might move to the Pact well or some other bigger
conference because they were they got a pretty good stout
athletic department. Yeah well, hey Matt, we're up against it, Jair.
I appreciate you checking in real fast. Your guests is

(01:19:11):
as good as mine. Who's gonna go where? I mean,
like the PAC twelve, They're gonna try to get as
big of a name school as possible. It's hard to
you know, replace the USC with San Diego State, but
I wouldn't rule much out at all. Right now, alright,
coming up next, do these two star players need to
make big changes. Oh what's going on everybody? Hope you're

(01:19:35):
enjoying your Saturday morning. Changing lives, changing philosophies like Brian Finley,
who I caught top of the hour update when r
B I s I plaied that change. But welcome to
the right side over here, Brian Finley, Very well done,
very well done. Feel free to hit us up eight seven, seven,

(01:19:56):
nine nine on Fox. Here's your phone number. I got
a couple of things I'm gonna throw at you. So
John Moran of the Memphis Grizzlies, he agreed to a
five year deal. It's worth up to two thirty one
million dollars. First, thanks First, it's money well spent. Guy's
a SuperStar's outstanding. But it reminds me a bit of

(01:20:22):
Lamar Jackson in the NFL. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson
I think has something in common with John Morant. What
would that be? I think that they both have shown
extraordinary flashes right they're early in their careers. John Moran,
it blows my mind that he was the most improved

(01:20:43):
player this past season. Has weird to me. It's not
like he was just some Joe Schmo and granted he
he got better, I get it, but he was really
good to begin with. That was just odd. But anyway,
Lamar Jackson is a former league MVP, so we've seen
really good production from both players. But what I think

(01:21:05):
that the real UH comparison would be is their style
of play. Although they have both been successful, they've both
been star athletes, do they still need to make big changes? Now,
before you say, well, that's just ridiculous, why think about
a guy named Michael Jordan's the coat Right later in

(01:21:29):
his career, he changed his playing style. He was no
longer that athletic freak that could get to the rim
at will. He was not a guy trying to dunk
on five dudes simultaneously, and he developed more of an
outside shot. If the greatest of all time significantly altered
the way he played, then it's not a silly question

(01:21:52):
at all. So if you look at Lamar Jackson banged
up last year, missed the final four plus game. If
you look at John Morant jaw was banged up quite
a bit this past season, only played fifty seven games
and then was hurt for three games in the playoff
series against the Warriors. So if you think about John Morand,

(01:22:15):
I'm not gonna say his style of play is to
blame for every single injury he has. That would be
unfair and inaccurate. But does his style of play increases
odds of being on the shelf while injured? And the
answer is yes, John Morant, he gets clobbered going to

(01:22:36):
the rim and his landing on the floor repeatedly. They
had a stat during the season John Morand was ending
up on the floor as much as some of the
most uh some of the at a higher rate than
most players in NBA history. They had him alongside, you know,

(01:22:57):
like getting fouled and taking contact alongside some of the
the bigs in NBA history like Shack, and he was
alongside those guys. It's like, Wow, this dude is getting
clovered consistently. That adds up. Then I think with Lamar Jackson,

(01:23:18):
the punishment that he takes it adds up as well.
And so granted it's a delicate balance because what makes
these guys special is John Morant going to the rim
and taking some of that contact, Lamar Jackson running the
football and occasionally getting clobered. So I'm not saying John Morant,

(01:23:42):
he shouldn't ever attack the rim. I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying Lamar Jackson he should never run the football.
I'm not saying that at all. I think there's a
big difference between changing who you are and your style
completely and altering it a bit so John Moran, depending
on the situation. If you're playing the Orlando Magic, no,

(01:24:05):
I don't want him attacking the rim at will and
getting clabbered in the process and those bumps adding up.
I don't want that. If this is if we're in
the playoffs and it's go time, Okay, it's a different scenario.
But when we were talking random regular season game in
November and you might have a ten point leading, I

(01:24:27):
think the situation matters. I think with Lamar Jackson. Look,
if it's the playoffs and you're trying to fight for
every inch as you're running the football and you might
get clabbered by the strong safety in the process, Okay,
it's go time. But if we're talking week five, and
especially in a game that you're up by ten thirteen

(01:24:48):
points that no, I want you to pull the Russell Wilson.
I want you to get what you can get and slide,
don't take that extra punishment. So a lot of people
they blow this out of proportion. They get miffed for
no good reason. Where it's like a guy like me
is just trying to change these players and take away
what makes them special. No I'm not. I'm not at all.

(01:25:12):
It's just you've got to think not only about the
here and now, but you've got to think about the
long haul also. You've got to think about how can
I remain upright and be there for my squad. That's
it's more to it. I think that's when you start
playing chess instead of checkers, instead of this is just
my style. At the chips fall where they may, It's like,

(01:25:34):
you're still gonna be really special, John Morand if he
developed more of an outside shot and he's not taking
that punishment as consistently as he commonly is right, same
thing with Lamar Jackson. He can still be special. It's
not like this dude is gonna be a hack quarterback
if he says, you know what, instead of trying to

(01:25:55):
juke eight dudes at once and sometimes getting planted by
a middle linebacker, maybe I don't quite do that. Maybe
I get what I can get. And I slide, and
I live to fight another down and another game and
another season. You know what I mean. That's not crazy.
I think that makes a ton of sense. So yeah,

(01:26:15):
even though they've both been very successful, John Morant and
Lamar Jackson, they've both have been banged up quite a bit.
And don't think for a second their style of play
doesn't contribute to it, because it does. And I think
they gotta find that delicate balance of still doing what
makes them special, but not doing it to the point

(01:26:37):
where it works against them and their teams, because sometimes
it does. I'm probably know here on Fox Sports Radio
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox is your phone number.
If you want to check in, feel free to do so.
I think we've got our guy, Travis still with us.
Le's go to Chatsworth. Shout out to Kelli over here, Travis,
you're on Fox Sports Radio. What's on your mind? Yeah,

(01:26:59):
I'm still I'm still with you. That was a really
good segment about the guys adjusting Lamar Jackson and John around.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. I think, Uh, if you
got Lebron to be candid, that would be really interesting
to see what he has to say. Because he takes
so much incoming for the load management stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's an interesting conversation, right, Like we've seen it in

(01:27:20):
multiple sports. Guys will change their style, especially as they
get older, like you have to. So why would you
not think like that when you're younger? Also, I think
it makes sense to do so. Yeah, if I was,
if I, you know, was running the team and I
had a star like John around, I would definitely be
in his ear about it. But you know, you gotta
you can't stop them from being who they are because

(01:27:42):
that's what's making people watch. Yeah, you gotta find the
middle ground, I think. Yeah, okay, and then one more
quick thing. Um, when you were talking about that topic,
I thought of Kobe and I was just gonna ask
you and anybody else who wants to comment on it,
like Brian or Ricky, what was a celebrity death that
hit you the hardest? And I'll take that off the air.

(01:28:04):
Oh wow, okay, well yeah, thanks for checking in, Travis. Wow,
this celebrity death, I thought the Kobe death was that
was the one I didn't believe the most. I'll never forget.
I was I was streaming a game or something on
my phone and the alert came up and I just

(01:28:25):
read it. I was staring at my phone at the
second and it was the alert about the helicopter crash.
And I'll never forget. My reaction was just like, no,
not Kobe. And I don't know why I thought that.
I don't know why, human being right, but uh, that
was my reaction. That was your action of a lot
of people like this can't be so young and that

(01:28:46):
just couldn't happen. That was the one I was most
surprised about. Um. But as far as hitting me the hardest,
the thing with me is I look, don't get me wrong.
I feel horrible for the people involved. I feel horrible
for his family, and it's just a tragedy. But for me,
I'm like, if I don't actually know the person, I

(01:29:10):
don't I don't feel it on that level. Some people
feel it a lot deeper, But I have to actually
know you to to feel it on that level where
it's like it really really got to me that type
of thing. That's just how I'm wired. I'm not saying
people who feel it on a deeper, deeper level level
are wrong. Uh, it's just I gotta actually know you.

(01:29:31):
I gotta have a relationship. I gotta have a friendship
to to feel it on a deeper level. But the
Kobe one was the one I was most surprised about
and didn't believe in the moment he wants us to
go around the room. You know, he's an assistant program director.
That Travis and Chatsworth. So Chris mending the controls. Rage
against the machine is our common bond over here. Do

(01:29:53):
you have anything that comes to mind, any celebrity death
that hits you hard? David Bowie? Really yeah? I love Bowie,
big fan. The movie is coming out. I saw the previews.
I saw one of the one of the like most
creative people I have ever known, just on how many
times he changed his format of music, the songs that

(01:30:14):
he wrote and everything else, like very very creative, very
creative person. Ends that was the one that had me
going back through the catalogs for the whole day totally. Hey,
nothing wrong with that. Brian Finley with a why Brian,
is there a celebrity death that got you hard? You know?
I gotta say, Brian, So before coming back here to
Los Angeles, I worked in Memphis at a at a

(01:30:37):
TV station, and there's a lot of great music obviously
in the history of Memphis and the history of music
that has come through that town. Now there's a there's
a rapper out there that I've listened to a lot,
and I know a lot of people know, and a
little bit underground, but he's become mainstream. And his name
was Young Dolph. And Young Dolph was somebody at any

(01:31:00):
time that I was carvering a high school football game
or a basketball game, that was the music that was
blaring in the high school gym, or going and covering
the Memphis Grizzlies. He was the city of Memphis. He
was the king of Memphis, you know, before obviously Elvis
and and there was Young Dolf in this jen X

(01:31:21):
world we live in. And then when you heard that
he was shot to death. I know that these things
unfortunately happened in entertainment, but just to know what that
man meant to the city and living in Memphis and
feeling what people felt about the words that he was
speeling and how they resonated what he was talking about

(01:31:42):
and the messages that he was trying to get across,
and just me being sort of that witness from the
side and listening it just like you said, Brian, It's
one thing to to know the person, but if you
really experience in being in that environment and just knowing
what somebody means somebody else, you just it just hits

(01:32:03):
you differently. Yeah, hey, I get I didn't expect you
to go down that road. Look at you. I didn't
know you're a rap guy. Very nice, very it made
me think, were you're talking about an entertainer getting shot?
Dime back Darryl was the guitarist of Pantera. Oh yeah,
I remember that. He was in a band called Damage
Plan and a Pantera fan opened fire while he was

(01:32:26):
on stage and he was murdered. It was freaking crazy. Um,
that was an incredibly sad to say the least. But
again with me, as much as I was a fan
of Dime and Pantera, and I didn't know the guy personally,
and so I don't know, I said, I have to
have that to feel it on a deeper level. Our guy,
Ricky a k A little cheese. It Is there anybody

(01:32:48):
on your list celebrity that died that hits you hard? Yeah,
it's surprising. But for some reason, when Paul Walker died, Yeah,
that one, that one got me. Yeah, and he was
he was street racing, was he not? That's what? Yeah? Yeah,
yeah yeah he he was in some supercar. But he

(01:33:11):
he's from he's from someone to Hunger, where I grew up.
And it just kind of got me. Yeah, wow, interesting stuff. Uh,
Travis's question is completely brought down the vibe of the show,
like we're we're just in our feelings now, you know.
But that's okay. Now I'm sitting here remembering another person

(01:33:33):
to Ronnie James Dio, and now I'm just even more sad. See,
you know, Travis, is an interesting conversation. We're all sad. Now,
all sad. You know. You guys gotta go get some
cheese it's from the vending machine and start to rally
over here, you know. So we're gonna have to do
all right. Coming up next, there's a movie called The
Backup Plan. I haven't seen it. I haven't seen it,

(01:33:55):
Dodd Shocker, plenty of movies I haven't seen, but the
Big End. They've got a really good backup plan. Right now,
it's not usc U c l A is. They've got
a backup plan. I'll tell you about those details right
around the corner. I'm Brian no keep it locked right
here on Fox Sports Radio. I'm Brian no here on
Fox Sports Radio. So, yeah, this realignment in college sports.

(01:34:21):
I keep on saying college football, it's one of just
college football with USC and U c l A going
to the Big Ten. But I look at it from
a college football point of view first and foremost, because
that's the season we're about to go into. The soonest,
I know college hoops right around the corner too, but
I think USC great tradition college football wise, they're going

(01:34:44):
to the Big Ten. This is a heck of a
backup plan for the Big Ten. So again, they're cashing in.
They get USC story, tradition, college football extraordinary. M U
c l A. We know what they've done in college

(01:35:04):
basketball over the years. The southern California market, it's huge
for the Big Tent, so they might expand more if
I'd be moving toward two mega conferences right. But I
love this report. This is from Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports.
He says that Big Ten officials have told Oregon and

(01:35:28):
Washington the conference is standing pat for now as it
awaits Notre Dame's decision. Now think about this just for
a little bit, Hey, Oregon, just you know, stay on
the sideline right now. It's kind of like a girl
that's it's really pretty, got a lot of guys after her,

(01:35:50):
and she's she's like, hold on option number three, option
number four. Like I'm I'm waiting on option one. I
want to see what he's about first, and then maybe
maybe that doesn't pan out then and maybe you or
maybe you, we'll see, but you're not my first choice.

(01:36:11):
Just to let you know point blank, that's good. Lord,
how about that for the big tent? It's that like
Oregon is just some Joe Schmo University. Yeah, all I
going for It's not Notre Dame. And I get it
why the Big ten is doing that. But man, you
think about being in that position. There are many conferences

(01:36:34):
that would love to be in a position to be like, yeah,
just just wait on the sideline for right now. Oregon
and Washington just waiting on a bigger fish potentially over
here first. But that doesn't work out, then yeah, we'll
hit you up. We'll see if maybe we can work
something out. That's amazing to me, man, it really is.

(01:36:58):
I also wonder that keep on hearing about these mega conferences,
how is that even gonna work just from a scheduling standpoint.
I don't know how many years away we are from
that happening, but it definitely seems like we're shifting toward that.
When it happens, I don't know, But if it does,

(01:37:20):
I don't know how you make that work on a
scheduling basis. That's just that's odd. I can't even completely
wrap my mind around that. I just don't want college football, specifically,
to get into a place where we're just having arguments
and debates that are just a waste of time, you

(01:37:42):
know what I mean, Like we're getting away from the
good parts of college football and what's happening on the field,
because just think about this. Let's say the Big Ten
has twenty schools in the not too distant future. You
know as well as I do, it's gonna be a
combination of Big Ten teams. And we just saw USC U,
c l A maybe throwing Notre Dame, maybe throwing a

(01:38:04):
couple of other schools from who knows what conference, and
you know, the arguments for the first few years, it's
gonna be, Hey, look at Team X, and they played
all former Big Ten teams and they didn't play anybody
else from the it's just gonna be annoying, man, Right.

(01:38:25):
It just feels like I look at it like this
the NFL offseason. It's interesting. I wouldn't say it's annoying.
We don't have these conversations about realignment, right, Like we're
focused on what's gonna happen on the field. That's that's
mostly what it's about, right, And in college football it's

(01:38:49):
it's really just the logistics. We're talking more about the
logistics than we are about on the field stuff. I
just think that's that's a shame, But that's where we're at, man,
That's where we're at, and we're just gonna get more
of it. The real question is this, When I hear
Mega Conference, it feels like, you know, like a metal

(01:39:10):
Mega conference. Do you hear at the end of it?
It's how my stupid mind works. Do you hear? I've
got a variety of James Hetfield signature sounds because I
feel like a metal vibe with metal with Mega Conference?
Do you do you hear it? Like this Mega conference? Right,
it's a signature from James or that megaconference could go there,

(01:39:38):
last choice Megaconference. I'm a new guy. Myself. I think
we're best with that. On that note, no pun intended
a smooth transition the four by one hundred meter relay,
running the anchor leg as I run the third leg

(01:40:00):
and I reached back there. You take the baton Brian Finlay,
and off he goes. Off he goes to Olympic gold.
Right now, let's try not to trip and fall in
army crawl across the finish line as we try to
get that gold. You know who got the gold last
night in Major League Baseball, Tony Gonzla. And he should
because he's tend to know with his record as a
starting pitcher this season, and his Dodgers plugged the Padres

(01:40:23):
five to one. Byron Buxton hit a two run bomb
in the bottom of the nine to send the Twins
over the Orioles three to two and walk off fashion
Christian Javier fourteen strikeout says he leads the Astros over
the Angels eight to one. The Mets nick the Arrangers
four to three, d when DS seventeen saves. Now after
he got it done in the ninth, the Brewers just

(01:40:46):
obliterate the Pirates nineteen to two. Rowdy tells with five
rbies very nice. I like how you picked that up
at the top of the hour two. I was curious
to know if you did. You definitely heard that when
I pay attention, Brian fenn leyes you do. The Braves
got it done against the Reds nine o one. So

(01:41:06):
since he is twenty four games below five hundred, as
we mentioned earlier in the show, and one of the
bigger stories of the day, ESPN of course first to
report that Rudy Gobert of the Jazz has headed to
the Timberwolves and what Minnesota is giving up to get Gobert.
Here you go, four players in the twenty overall picking

(01:41:26):
this latest NBA draft, Walker Kestler and four future first
round picks. That is a bundle for Rudy Gobert, who
will join forces with Carl Anthony Towns in Minneapolis. I
would say it's a drunk bundle, really drunken Minnesota giving
up all that for Rudy Gobert. He's a good player,
he's just not that's too much, man. But you think

(01:41:49):
about it, and no offense to Milike Beasley and Patrick Beverley,
they are good pieces. But do you think some of
this is just sort of like we're gonna dump these
guys on you because we don't really see them as
future pieces that we look and say we're gonna have
you for a couple of years. They're just in for
a placeholder, if that makes sense. I get it. Like
you could play this game, Brian with a wife Fenley

(01:42:11):
right where you could say, let's say Minnesota is a
pretty good team. They got rid of some role players.
Let's say they're a good team, so their draft picks
in the first round a little lower, a little not
premium picks. Getting Rudy Gobert makes them a little bit better.
You can play that game and talk yourself into it.
But this is an all in type move for a
guy that doesn't put you over the top. I just

(01:42:34):
I don't know why you'd go all in for a
guy that doesn't potentially put you over the top. And
now you're setting yourself for having to win right now
because you think about and Brian, you mentioned this all
the future first round draft picks that the Timberwolves are
giving up. Now, they're gonna make life a lot harder
for themselves in the future if they can't win. And
the pressure even billows more on the front office because

(01:42:57):
win or what and not like they've been winning a
lot recent Brian, As you know, this is a franchise
that there's a thing or two about losing. They do
they I'm just saying, you could use all those players,
all those picks, whatever package, and go all in with
another player that's not Rudy Gobert. And again he's good,
He's not a you know, like a chump out there,

(01:43:19):
but like that's the move for that guy. I just
don't like it. Man. They might have the new Big
three you include Anthony Edwards and then Karl Anthony Towns
and Grew Govert. I mean you might just have that.
The question is, Brian, they have good pieces, but can
they actually win and can they take it into the postseason?
That is to be determined in the future. And finally,

(01:43:41):
come on, Looney will be staying with the Warriors into
the future a three year, twenty five point five million
dollar deal according to report. So that's a good role player,
maybe more than a role player. Somebody who they in
the Warriors rollied on heavily to gain ground and take
them to the NBA Finals with that is gonna back
to a man who you want him leading your team

(01:44:03):
in the finals. Yeah, right, thanks, man, I appreciate that.
I do love that Patrick Beverley is in Utah of
all places right now that I can't see him lasting
very long there. I mean, really, they're building around Donovan Mitchell.
We all get that. It's like a completely new team.
Think about that. Rudy Gobert's traded for five players. You

(01:44:26):
have five new dudes depending on who's bought out and
who's not there and all that type of stuff. But uh,
you lose Joe Ingles, he goes over there to the Bucks.
You lose Royce O'Neil. He's gone, hey Gon again. It's
like Hawk Harrelson, right, and then you got a brand
new head coach. Completely huge shift for the Utah Jazz

(01:44:48):
building around Donovan Mitchell. But look, man, I understand right,
like Mitchell and Gobert, although they downplayed it, they didn't
seem like they were bosom buddies exactly. It wasn't working
and they they're completely shifting. It reminds me a bit
a bit of the Toronto Raptors, where they were good,

(01:45:10):
they were successful, and then the playoffs rolled around and
they got nowhere and they're like, we can't just keep
doing the same old thing time and time again and
expecting it to click. So Utah made the move man.
They they are changing the outlook of their franchise dramatically.
All right, let's go to the phones here, Cowboy, our gout.

(01:45:33):
Happy birthday coming up on Wednesday, but let's go to
Cowboys corner. Take it away, Cowboy. Oh, thank you Brian,
and that you you enjoy your July fourth holiday. Yesterday
was our July first to Canada Day holiday. Yeah, my
birthdays next Wednesday. I was actually supposed to be born
Canada Day of fifty three, so I'll be sixty nine,

(01:45:55):
but I kind of arrived five days late. But happy
sixties to my boy Bob Stevenson. Also the breath they
hit Man Harts in best, Who was best? Who was
the best? Whoever will be? You know the w W.
Also happy sixty fifth own, thanks for Ryan Stone, cowboy,
and happy sixty birthday. Also speaking of cowboys, to Charles

(01:46:18):
Sampson U two was the first black cowboy to win
the Professional bull Riders for UH Professional Rodeo Cowboys or
bull Riding Championship, and former Major leaguers Tony Armas and
Frank Tinana will be sixty nine today and tomorrow. By

(01:46:40):
the way, Frank Tinana went to Detroit Catholic Central High
School and just like my great nephew, Steven Turner went
to um UH Windsor's Catholen Central High School. And Jose
and Nazzi Conseco were fifty eight today. They were born
the same day then July second, nineteen six four that

(01:47:01):
U S President Lyndon Johnson signed the simple Rights back.
And also fifty nine years ago today Giants White and
Willie Mays uh walk off Somahomer was the only run
in this uh sixteen inning pitchers deal between his teammate
um One Brichell and Giants Braves Great Lawrence spot. That

(01:47:28):
was the second last time two pitchers pitching in the
sixteen sinning. The last time was uh Mary Chelson May's
teammate Gaylord Perry, who picked the first sixteen innings of
a twenty one inning game on September second, nineteen sixty seven.
And yesterday Jamie fire Branch was eight and Pam Anderson

(01:47:52):
of the Fake Broup was fifty five yesterday And to
my fifty six years go tomorrow. Uh So your brays
Tony Crantinger uh was the first Nights illegally hit two
Grand Slams in one game, and he also uh and
pitched the Braves to a seventeen three victory over the Giants.

(01:48:16):
And uh Corninger died at cancer July twenty, two thousand, eighteen,
eighteen days before my sister Karen also succumbed to the season. Tony,
surely you tiny will be twenty eight on Tuesday's day
before my birthday and the coast it was the July

(01:48:37):
fourth Night three uh uh no hitter by uh Dave
Rigghetti of the Yankees, the July Force no hitter against
the Red Sox. And anyway, you people have a great
July Force holiday. Remember you gotta be a boy to
be a cowboy. Also my birthday and probably isn't possible,

(01:48:57):
but too bad the emolitia. Well, I'd like to see
the Ryanstone cowboy open. Good stuff. There he is, cowboy again.
Shout out to him his birthday on Wednesday. Now a
couple of the highlights here. First off, his shoutout to

(01:49:18):
Brett the hit Man heart UH. Fun fact you probably
know this, but Brett only one tea, only one t
the hit Man over there another one te Brett Brett
Michael's poison. Yeah, just rocking the one tea the first name,
and I I thought the highlight of the call the

(01:49:38):
shoutout to Pambla. Anderson turned fifty five yesterday, just in
Pam Anderson. I fake boops. If there was it wasn't
Bay Watts was Playboy cover girl? Fake boops. I love
the description right there. It's funny. I was trying to
figure it out. I couldn't google it fast enough. My
Google skills leave a lie to be desired. But I'm

(01:50:03):
sure Pamela Anderson has been on the cover of Playboy
the most amount of times, and I was trying to
figure out. I was trying to verify that's correct. It
is correct. Do you know the amount of times, Ricky?
I couldn't find the amount of time she's been on
the cover there, but she is the most popular cover
girl on that magazine. We'll get you the the exact total. Uh,

(01:50:27):
there's one I'm just sifting through says been on the
cover at least fourteen times, so I was back in
so she's probably been on that thing a few more.
I don't know, but wow, fifty five Pamela Anderson. You
got something there, Ricky. It sounds like typing in the background.
Is their steam coming off of the keyboard right there?
You're going on, Yeah, sorry about that. I left the

(01:50:49):
mic on. No, you're good man. I just thought you
it almost It sounded like you hit and enter. It
just sounded like one key stroke, like and submit, like
you had the answer. That's why I brought that up.
January two thousand and eleven. She made history January two
thousand eleven. She made history when she graced the magazine's
cover for the thirteenth time. And that was in eleven. Huh,

(01:51:13):
two thousand eleven, so she would have been uh forty six. Wow. Yeah,
so she's probably been on that bad Boy a few
more times. Brian, Did you know that a Fox Sports
radio colleague has every one of those editions of pam
Anderson on the cover of Playboy? Is this a true story?
This is a true story. It's Ben Mallard. Why is

(01:51:35):
that Ben Mallor has every single one since the day
that she became big time. That has been one of
the things because people like to collect things, you know,
I like to collect whatever stamps or whatever. But Ben
Mallard A kid. You not sus this is true? Huh.

(01:51:57):
Let me just say, I think it's a hunch. How
you This is a friendly it's a friendly ism. Unbelievable
by you. Unbelievable but okay, strong hunch playing a hunch
over here. I got you, Yes, And all the Mallard militia,
all of them. Usually they would have all of them too.

(01:52:18):
Got it. Got you on that all right? Feel free
to check in eight seven, seven, nine nine on Fox
Coming up next. It was an interesting statement, but I
don't think it's what this group is actually after at all.
I'll share that story with you coming up. I'm Brian
No keep it locked right here on Fox Sports Radio.

(01:52:40):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox sports
Radio dot com and within the I Heart Radio app.
Search f s R to listen live. I'm Brian No
here on Fox Sports Radio. I found this story interesting.
Has to do with live golf. So there was uh

(01:53:02):
one protester on Friday. Because this event that's taking place
that concludes tomorrow, concludes on Saturday. It's being held just
outside of Portland, Oregon. So it's on us soil and
it's a Saudi backed league, so there are some people

(01:53:23):
that have a huge problem with that. We get it.
And there were more protesters on Thursday, and I found
it to be pretty interesting because this is the group.
It's a nine eleven group, and it's survivors and families
of nine eleven victims that we're protesting near this live

(01:53:46):
golf event on Thursday. And as I said, there was
only one protester on Friday. But this is what um,
one of the members of the group had to say
on Thursday. Now listen carefully, because I find this interesting.
I think it's it's saying something that you don't actually want.
Uh here you go check this out. Listen if Phil

(01:54:07):
Mickelson stands up and says, I don't give it about
the families, I know what the Soudis did, and I'm
taking the money. Just acknowledge it. Be a man, step up,
accept the truth of who you're getting in bed with.
But instead they're they don't answer the questions, they dodge
the questions. They try to just pretend that we're gonna
forget or we're gonna sundhow be distracted. And you know,

(01:54:29):
I think accountability and acceptance by these golfers is what
we're looking for. Okay, I don't buy that at all.
I think that when he started off saying, Hey, if
Phil Mickelson were to just say, I don't give a
bleep about the families, I'm taking the money, there's no
way a survivor or a family of a nine eleven

(01:54:52):
victim is going to be like shrugging their shoulders like
at least he owned it. I'm good. No beef here, Like, really,
if you just point blank said I don't give a
bleep about your family or how you were affected, I'm
supposed to believe that a family member would sign off
and be like, it's cool. At least he's owned it.
That's all I'm asking for his little accountability over here.

(01:55:13):
I don't believe that at all. I believe that at all.
And the reason I bring this up is this does
happen quite a bit these days, where there are a
lot of people that say something that they supposedly want,
but it's not really what they want. I hear this
a lot where let's just have a discussion, man, let's

(01:55:33):
just talk about it. It's like you don't want that,
you want agreement. That's what people are after these days.
And look this, this group here of survivors and families
of nine eleven victims. They are after agreement. They have
a huge problem with the Saudi backed league for obvious reasons,

(01:55:55):
and they want some of the golfers that have gone
from the PGA tour to only to live tour to
see it the same way. That's what they're after. They're
after agreement. That's what it's really about. So I just
don't buy some of these things of Hey, if you
just say you don't give a bleep about the families
were all good here? Yeah, right, there's no way they

(01:56:16):
would be cool with that at all. So I just
think there's a lot of times where people say something
that they want, but it's not what they're really after.
Most people are after agreement. They're not after a discussion.
They're not after accountability. That would be the next best
thing is to just own it. But the way they're

(01:56:37):
describing it, there's no way they'd be cool with that.
Phil just gets like, you know what, I just want
to be honest with you guys. I uh, I don't
give a bleep about any of the families affected, uh
with the nine eleven tragic, really really, and you're gonna
be okay with it. Come on, man, come on, let
mee go out to the phones. Here. Mike is in Illinois,
wants to talk to some college football here, college football movement.

(01:57:00):
Go lord, Mike, you're on Fox Sports Radio. What's going on?
Good morning, Brian. It's a pleasure to be on your show. Well,
thanks man, glad to have you here. Hey, I wanna,
I wanna put my theory, which directly uh comes on
the heels of you saying like you have no idea

(01:57:20):
about the future of college football scheduling. Okay, So here's
my theory, and it's just give me just a second,
and it's it's it's based on the NFL model. So
let's say you take all all sixteen teams in the
in the SEC or the Big TANN take a pick
or consider it both at the same time, and you

(01:57:41):
split each conference up in the four divisions of four teams,
and so you've got the division ABC D, and every
year you play the three teams in your division no
matter what, and then you rotate so A plays uh,

(01:58:01):
there are three teams, and then they play B and
C one year and then the next year, B indeed,
and the next year CD and then you start over
and then Brian, and then instead of a conference championship, uh,
you would have what you consider to be like a
mini playoff. The four division winners would play each other,

(01:58:24):
and then the winners of that game would play each other,
and then you have your conference championship. And then what
I would see happening is also my alternate theory on
that is, you play the three teams in your own
division plus one of the other three divisions within your
own conference, and then let's say you may cross over

(01:58:46):
and play one one of the divisions in the other
conference like a no. I follow you, and hey, thanks
for checking in, Mike. We're just up against it, but
I follow you. I definitely do. And hey, maybe it
is something like that to mega conferences, and I'm just
curious how it does break down. But I follow that,
all right? Coming up next, two players that have missed

(01:59:08):
a ton of games that have different value. Oh, what's
going on, everybody? Hope you're having a great Saturday morning.
You know, I got to think in here, got to
thinking a little bit. Zion Williamson. If you compare Zion
to Kyrie Irving, it's kind of interesting. So Zion Williamson

(01:59:32):
signed a huge contract, right, looking at five years worth
up to two hundred thirty one million dollars, big contract extension, right,
and uh, if you compare that to another another former
number one overall pick also who went to Duke and

(01:59:53):
Kyrie Irving, it stands out to me quite a bit.
What's interesting to me is if you look at both players,
both have them played a ton of games the last
three years. Zion has only played eighty five games over
the last three seasons, so it's a little more than
one season over the last three years. He's had a

(02:00:14):
lot of injuries, missed all of last season. Kyrie Irving
has played a hundred and three games over the last
three seasons. Of course, world documented last year, didn't get vaccinated,
played only twenty nine games, had injury issues his first
year with the Brooklyn Nets. So Kyrie's played a hundred
and three Zion's played over the last three years, and

(02:00:38):
yet New Orleans says heck, yeah, yeah, looks then this
guy and the Brooklyn Nets barked to say the least,
They're like, oh, max extension for Kyrie Irving. It's got

(02:00:59):
a bad ring to it. Bad ring to it. No thanks,
And what's crazy is the Nets even though they knew
it could impact Kevin Durant's standing with the team, they
still were like, no, no, not a max steel for
Kyrie Irvan can't do it like old Mike single tear,

(02:01:19):
can't throw it. So this is where I would go.
What stands out is not just where it stands right now,
Nets boxed sinning Kyrie Pelicans said let's do it if
their teams. Let's take the Pelicans. If the Pelicans didn't

(02:01:40):
offer zion and max steel, how many other teams around
the league would are There would be quite a few,
but quite a few saying, all right, we know he's
had injury issues before, it's a bit of a gamble.
But man, when he's been healthy, he has been unfreaking believable, unstoppable.
I haven't seen anything like this, dude. So there would

(02:02:01):
be teams that say, yeah, let's take that gamble if
the Pelicans didn't do it. Now with Kyrie Irving, with
the Nets not willing to make that gamble, how many
teams around the league are willing to give Kyrie Irving
a max contract? Not that many, not that many? And

(02:02:22):
so That's That's what's crazy to me too, is the
talent of Kyrie Irving. No one doubts his talent. He's
a great basketball player, maybe the best handles in league history.
Just poetry what he does offensively. But you have all
these teams just gritting their teeth, like, oh, max max contract,

(02:02:46):
bad ring to a bad ring to it. And so
a guy like Zion who's played even fewer games, he's
played less games over the last three seasons than Kyrie's been,
missing games left and right. Scients played even less regularly,
and his value is far greater. Right now, that's where

(02:03:06):
things are now. This was Stephen A. Smith. He was
on ESPN talking about the potential future of Kyrie Irving
as far as his wishes go. Check this out. Kyrie
Irvin is telling everybody he plans on going to l
A meaning the Lakers, as soon as he possibly can.
Their likelihood is that you'll have to go through this

(02:03:27):
season and then when he becomes a free agent after
this upcoming season is over, he plans on rejoining Lebron
James in the Los Angeles Lakers uniform. They'll have about
seventy to eighty million dollars under the cap they're going
to use it on Kyrie Irvin, or so Kyrie Irvin
has been convinced to believe. Well, I get that he
wants that. But the thing with trades is what's interesting

(02:03:50):
because it's gotta work for both teams. You can't just
work for your team. So all these Laker fans they
want to get Russ out of town, they want to
get Russell Westbrook out of town on the first thing
smoking But guess what, why would the Nets be excited
about that? That's what cracks me up about these trade proposals.
You get these Laker fans all right here it is,

(02:04:11):
we get Russ out of here, we get Kyrie Irving
in boomed done, where do we sign? It's like, wait
a minute, if you are that giddy about getting rid
of Russell Westbrook, why would the Nets be excited to
land him. It's gotta work for both sides. I'm very
interested to see how the Kyrie Irving portion of it

(02:04:32):
does play out. But uh man, I hey, this was
rich too. Kyrie Irving tweeted a gift of a bird
flying out of a cage like he's been He's been
set free, are soon to be from the Brooklyn Nets
in this horrible situation is the only way I could

(02:04:52):
read it. And it's just like, wow, dude, really really
that's what That's the card we're playing right now. The
Brooklyn Nets might be like, I don't know, how about
pulling in Andrew Wiggins and getting vaccinated. I don't know.
Wiggs didn't want to do it. He did to be
there for the team and he was an important part
of the Warriors championship run. Yeah, we got twenty nine

(02:05:16):
games out of you, Kyrie, But I don't know. It's us.
It's us. You're free. Now, you're free. Go ahead, spread
your wings now, Kyrie. It's on us that you were
not productive or not reliable or yeah, it's on us totally.
That doesn't help. Does that help things going forward? Man?
I'm probably though here on Fox Sports Radio. Okay, let

(02:05:38):
me throw something else at you real fast here and
I'll get to the calls. Eight seven seven nine on
Fox is your phone number. So Mike and Illinois. He
just checked in and he was talking about what college
football might look like in the not too distant future.
Now that was an interesting call because we're hearing about

(02:06:00):
out these megaconferences. Yeah, So we might have a couple
of mega conferences with as many as twenty teams in them,
and so I'm just wondering out loud. If that's the case,
what are the schedules gonna look like? And Mike said,
you might have something like the NFL. I thought that

(02:06:21):
was a pretty interesting call, because let's just say the
Big ten in the SEC, they each have twenty teams.
In those conferences, you might see let's say, uh, four
divisions of five teams or five divisions of four teams,
whichever it happens to be, and it would be similar
to the NFL, where you play the teams in your division. Right,

(02:06:44):
so that gives you uh, okay, let's keep it simple.
Four divisions of five teams. Let's just say that's the setup. Okay,
so you play the teams in your division. That gives
you four games. Let's say you got your nonconference schedule, Okay,
play let's say three. I don't know, I'm just thinking
out loud. So that gives you seven. And then you

(02:07:06):
could do it any which way. Maybe you play a
division maybe not top to bottom or top to bottom,
I don't know, or you do like the NFL, you
play like a first place schedule where maybe you face
a team that finished in first place of their division
the previous year, something like that. Yeah, maybe that's how
it looks. I don't know what is happening at least

(02:07:26):
for now in the a c C. So they're going
to feature a three five five format. So there's a
little math, but I think this will make sense. So
it starts next year, not this year. Next year, you
got fourteen teams in the a c C until things change, right,
So the three five five format is you will play

(02:07:50):
three permanent rivals. Year in and year out. You play
these three permanent rivals, and then one year you play
five opponents and the next year you play those other
five opponents and just kind of switch switch switch switch.
So at least it's it's a format to it, right.
So take Clemson for instance, their permanent rivals until things

(02:08:14):
change next week, but as right now, as permanent, Clemson
will play Florida State, Georgia Tech, and NC State year
in and year out, and then they'll face five teams
one year, and they'll face the other five teams the
next year. So is there something like that with these megaconferences? Maybe?

(02:08:37):
Maybe the bigger question is this what is the overall
format of college football? If that's the case, are we
expanding the playoff? Do we have twelve teams in that thing?
That's what we were talking about before Texas and Oklahoma
agreed to go to the SEC. A lot of momentum

(02:08:57):
for that. So is their expansion If there is, let's say,
are a twelve teams? So how do we get to twelve?
What's the exact format? Right? Like? How does it breakdown
in terms of the conference championship? Is there even a
conference championship? I just I have no clue what things

(02:09:17):
are gonna look like in college football at all at all.
And let's say this. If we've got two mega conferences,
um is the next best conferences that still invited to

(02:09:38):
the playoff party? Right? Twenty in the Big Ten, twenty
in the SEC. That's forty schools. Right, Even though I
went to ball State, I can do that math. We
still have teams that would be worthy of being playoff contenders.
I don't know what that third conference looks like. Is
everybody just migrate to the A C SEE or the

(02:10:00):
Big twelve whatever it happens to be, but they would
be involved in the playoff picture. I just that's what's
so weird. Imagine if you had that in the NFL,
these questions of hey, we might have a couple of
mega divisions and then who knows what the playoff format

(02:10:20):
looks like. I have no clue what that's gonna That'd
be freaking weird, right, That's what we had football. It's
it's crazy. Look. I get why USC and U C
l A Are bolting to the Big Ten. It's all
about the cash, baby. Maybe a hundred million dollars per

(02:10:41):
school in the Big Ten. That's way better than the
twenty million that each Pack twelve school got last year.
So I get it. That's why they're going. But what
it does to the ripple effect and what the playoff
structure looks like. I have no idea. That's insane. But

(02:11:01):
here we are. That's where we're at right now. Let
me get to an angry Bill, our guy in Jacksonville.
He wanted to check in here real quick. Angry Bill,
you're on Fox Sports Radio. What's going on? Man? How
are you doing? Buddy good? But um, I listened to
your words and your statistics about Pamela Anderson the most

(02:11:21):
times on the cover of Playboy and that's fine. I
have no knowledge of that's statistic. But then you hit
my button when you said the most famous. It is
not even close. It's not even From the Moon to
the Stars, back to Earth. Marilyn Monroe is the most
famous person ever to be on the cover of Playboy.

(02:11:42):
You take, Take, you take Pamela Anderson. Put her in
the shower, drain off all that makeup of her face,
drained down to her boobs, and the boobs will fall down.
She couldn't shine marri when rose underwear. Okay, so don't
don't give me that one the most famous buddy? Yeah him? Well, hey, listen,

(02:12:04):
you got a leg to stand on? I hate to say,
do have a do have a leg to stand on? Here?
With in terms of fame, right, I think you're selling
Pamela Anderson short a little bit here, This is a
little short here. But Monroe, she was world renowned. You know?
Did I say that more famous? No, I'm not gonna

(02:12:29):
say any famous or more famous? But was it me
or was it friendly? I think it was fendly right,
let me just throw a friendly under the bus dog. Well, good,
good to talk to you and your bill has been
a while. I just wanted to say that that Ben
Maller has every catalog you could imagine from Playboy. He

(02:12:50):
keeps them all stacked up underneath his bedside table. Angry Bill,
you sound like you're a Marilyn Monroe mega fan over there.
You got like Oliver movies. Her looks doesn't have a
natural Her boobs were natural. Okay, it wasn't made up
by some doctor who decided he wanted to make her

(02:13:11):
up a certain way. You take that makeup Pamila Anderson's face,
Oh god, you would. You wouldn't want to be in
the shower with her. Wow, just selling her way too short,
Angry Bill, it's a very angry call by you today,
very angry. I thought I was trying to be nice. Sorry,
all right, man, always going to hear from you though,

(02:13:32):
But for sure, Wow, well as uh cowboy said earlier
today that Pamela Anderson's she just turned fifty five yesterday,
is what he told us. And look, man, fifty five,
we're getting some miles on their right. But in the heyday,

(02:13:54):
no makeup, yes please, yes, freaking please. It's not a
byproduct that just make up. Angry Bill, I touched the nerve.
I didn't realize. I think with Brian Finley who said
that anyway, Bryan Finley, he made that mistake. Yeah, let's
just throw it out on me. Do you believe? Do

(02:14:15):
you agree with him? By the way, Marilyn Monroe, well
like way more famous than Pamela Anderson. I would say yeah.
But the problem is is Angry Bill could be my dad,
and just to think about that gives me a really
scary thought and it makes me cringe. But he's lived
through multiple generations and I wasn't around during the Maryland

(02:14:37):
Monroe time to really understand just what she was all
about and the effect that the transcended effects she had
on people. I will say this though, Brian Finley, I
who go the knee deep into the tail of the
tape Pam versus Maryland. It's a different time. The media
was so much different. You didn't have as many options.

(02:14:58):
It's kind of like baseball back in the when you
didn't have any options. Ratings are off the freaking charts,
you know, when you have nine channels right now, no
wonder they all Star game is isn't highly rated. It's
just different. So I think if you swapped Eras and
Pam was back in the day and Marilyn Monroe was
more contemporary. Flip flop and popularity is what I'm calling

(02:15:21):
Brian Finley. You know, I think you're you're onto something there,
and I believe you're correct. You're with me on this.
I'm with you on this. Take that angry Bill product
of the era, that's all you got with Maryland. Well,
you know, when you've lived through certain eras, there's this
everybody has this traditionalistic if that's a word, viewpoint on
certain things. And even though like progression is just it's

(02:15:45):
due to happen in life for whatever reason. Is not
talking politically whatever, but anything, there are people that are
gonna hold onto things of their past. That's just how
people are. Brian, Yeah, oh yeah, I get it. Listen, man,
when when you're a teenager, music just hits you a
different way. Sports, I think hits you a different way.
You just identify with it on a deeper level than

(02:16:07):
when you grow up. So yeah, I think there's something
to that very philosophical Pam versus Maryland. Till of the tape,
I didn't know we'd be here. But that's why I
love this job, you know, all right? Eight seven seven
nine on Fox phone number looking write to the calls,
Speedy Gonzalez right to the call. Also this, It's one
thing to have desire, it's another thing to have the

(02:16:30):
supporting cast where the desire is actually going to be
a reality. I have that story for you right around
the corner as well. I'm Brian no. It is the

Chris is in d C. Got an NBA comment for
us curious about this? What's up? Chris, Welcome to Fox
Sports Radio. Bud. Hey, let me see if I got

(02:17:13):
in your future being a gym. You're ready for this trade.
It's gonna be a three way trade. She didn't makes sense,
and every team give um. It will makes sense for
all three change. The three cheers that I got in
the trade will be Miami, the Lakers in Brooklyn. You're ready, Miami.
Miami is going to send Duncan Robinson and Kyle Lowry

(02:17:34):
to the UM to the Brooklyn Nets. The Lakers will
shift Anthony Davis and Kyle Horton Tucker to the Brooklyn
Nets will picks UM. The Brooklyn Nets will shift Kevin
Durant and Kyrie Irving to the Lakers. And I believe
because if you look at the salaries, how to match

(02:17:54):
and Brooklyn will get a lot of picks. And I
think it's in Westbrook will go to Miami because you
think of out of Kyle Lowry has always heard Duncan
Robinson was inconsistent. He didn't even play in the playoffs.
You will upgrade your point our position with Westbrook and
and I think Westbrook best fit would be Miami. I
think everybody will be happy there. So are you a

(02:18:16):
Lakers fan, Chris, I'm not a Leakers fan. I'm a
Spurs fan. So I must rest for a while. Wait, now,
who gets Duncan and Kyle Lowry? Which team gets them?
Brooklyn Nets the Brooklyn next to get them, because if
you think about it, Kyle Lowry makes about twenty nine million.
Duncan Robinson just signed a ninety million dollars Stenson I

(02:18:37):
think that it goes out to Westbrook contract. Westbrook will
go to the to Miami heats with with a pick,
and Brooklyn get picked from the Lakers and Miami. The
only thing, though, is I get it that the contracts
have to match. But if you're the Nets, you downgrade
from k D and Kyrie to Duncan Robinson and Kyle

(02:18:59):
Lowry and Anthony Davis and a d Well and that
that sweetens it a little bit. I mean, if he's
healthy a lot. On top of it, though, I was
just thinking, you get Anthony Davis, you get a guy
who's hearing there, the Lakers get rid of him because
she's never available. You get Red and m Durant didn't

(02:19:19):
say you didn't want to play with Kyrie, so I
would say, you get Lebron Kyrie in Durant in l A.
I mean, and then you get Anthony Davis, you get
him in Brooklyn, and then Miami Duncan Duncan Robinson contract
and kyl contract and get Westbrook. I can't see. Yeah,
I mean, hey, I smell, I hear what you're saying.
I'll say this, Chris real fast man, is you know

(02:19:41):
what blows my mind is how many trades are on
like the goal line, they're an inch away from happening,
and it might make sense for all teams involved. And
then one of these teams, like I don't know Miami
is just like no, not quite, not interesting, Like the
whole thing comes toppling down. That's all it takes, you know.

(02:20:05):
That's a I would love to be a fly on
the wall hearing some of these discussions of the deals
that were almost made but not quite because, especially for
k D, you might have a three team, you might
have a four team deal when it's all said and done,
when he gets moved. So think about all the wheeling
and dealing in those conversations where it doesn't actually work

(02:20:29):
out and the trade is made. I would love to
hear those stories throughout the years of we were right.
It was right freaking there. We would have had this
guy and that guy and the freaking timber Wolves said
no thanks, and you're right. That's crazy to think about.
All right, let's go out to uh. Brian Fenley, Southern California.

(02:20:51):
He's on the line next, what's up? What's up? Bryan
Finley is Southern California, a k where the Big ten
runs through? Yeah, That's that's what it's gonna be like
as we get into these two teams joining that prestigious conference,
but in las angle. By the way, Brian Finley, how
about this with the the Michigan fight song where it's uh,

(02:21:15):
the leaders and best and there's a line about the
champions of the West, and that goes all the way
back to the Rose Bowl. They wanted to be the
champions of the West. And how crazy is it that
those teams in southern California, right right there where the
Rose Bowl is there now in the same conference. Freaking crazy? Well,

(02:21:36):
it was. It was foreshadowing. You knew it was going
to happen eventually. And I guess you could say, Brian,
that it was foreshadowing that the Dodgers would stick it
to their younger brothers, the Padres five to one the
final score there from yesterday. Tony Gonslin is now tend
to know on the season. Just incredible, Mark. We need
to bet on him, Brian fat But you know what, Brian,

(02:21:58):
as soon as you send that, I think you just
jinxed yourself because you don't think he's gonna go all
in next start. Yeah, all right, I look forward to
him well, well, we'll check in on that and see,
I'll question it. I'll be in Vegas coming up pretty soon.
Going all in, Brian our resources. Speaking of going all
in and that being a good thing, the Twins did

(02:22:19):
that with their star and Byron Buxton, and he smashed
a two run home in the bottom of the ninth
to walk off fashion win for Minnesota over the Orioles
three to two. Gonslin has been pitching well, so has
Christian Javier of the Astros. Four teen strikeouts as he
silences he and the Astros the Angels eight to one.
Houston wins, the Mets get it done against the Rangers

(02:22:41):
four to three. The Brewers pound the Pirates nineteen to two,
rowdy tiles of five RBIs. He also had that one
home run, and you just feel bad, I guess, for
that Pittsburgh pitching staff. At some point. You also feel
bad for the Reds, Brian, because they're now four games
below five and after face planning against the Braves nine

(02:23:04):
to one. I don't think you feel bad for the
Jazz because as we transition to the NBA, there was
the big trade and that was announced yesterday. Rudy Gobert
is heading to the Timberwolves the Star Center from Utah,
and in exchange, Utah is getting five players and four
future first round draft picks, So that just for Gobert.

(02:23:27):
And finally, Brian Covon Looney is going to stay put
in Golden State with the Warriors a three year deal
twenty five point five million dollars. So one center is
headed east and one is staying right where he was
initially with Looney at Golden State. Yeah, that's a good

(02:23:48):
move for him, right. He might have been able to
get more money somewhere else, but he goes back to
the familiar spot. Just want a championship fits in great there,
and look, man, you still gonna get what did you say,
millions five over three years, So you can't mess with happy, right, Like,
you might get a little bit extra cash somewhere else,

(02:24:09):
but you're not with the Splash Brothers or Draymond Green.
And if you're happy, they're God bless him. Go back, right, Ian, Brian.
It's like when Kenny Atkinson turned down the head coaching
job with the Hornets, you wanted to stay as an
assistant with Golden State. Same sort of thing. I guess
it's in the coaching rings. Well, it's the cheap hornets
over there. The cheap Hornets reportedly only wanted to spend

(02:24:32):
about ten million dollars over four years. Oh you can't,
that's so like two to Brian, come on, you can't
get away with that freaking Jordan's What are we doing
over here? Right? Like? How many times do you hear
this about this organization isn't committed to winning. They're not
spending Michael freaking Jordan's and what he's worth. And if

(02:24:53):
that's true, they're penny pitching. What's going on over there?
Come on, open the wallet up. Totally agree with you,
and I just wish Adam Morrison panned out. Where did
that come from? One of the you know you look
back with the with thet but again under under Michael

(02:25:14):
Jordan's watch. You think about a lot of the draft
picks that he swung and missed on with Charlotte, and
a lot of people say Adam Morrison, I would say
the big injury affected him and he was never the same. Yeah, well,
third overall pick did not work out, by the way,
real fast, Troy shout out to him. He tweeted me
and said, those Wolves picks are not consecutive and one

(02:25:39):
is a swap, so they'll be able to draft some pieces.
I mean, technically he's correct, but this is a very
There's gotta be a timber Wolves fan. It's gotta be
because listen, Brian Finley, real fast, So Minnesota, they're sending
their first round picks in twenty three and twenty Evan,

(02:26:00):
those are all unprotected. It's the top five protected pick
in twenty nine. So Troy is right. The even years
they get a first round pick. But if this is
a good trade for the timber Wolves and they're at
least respectable with Rudy Gobert, and you would think they
would be right, those first round picks in the even
years are gonna be incredibly high. So it's an all

(02:26:23):
in move for Rudy Gobert. It's a good player, but
I think the price tag is too high. I guess
I learned something during your show, Brian, and that is
there are such thing as a Timberwolf fan. There are, man,
they're out in full fourth. You know what else? There
are Marilyn Monroe fans other than Angry Bill. Apparently Art

(02:26:43):
is in l A. He wants to back up Angry Bill.
I want to hear this art, you take it away,
but what's on your mind? Hey, what's up, fellas? How
you doing? I'm good, I'm good. Yeah, I got you
all right, hey man. So earlier Danker Bill called then
and he made a very good point. He was talking

(02:27:07):
about Marilyn Monroe versus uh pam right and uh so
if you if you want to get down to the
nitty gritty, you know, um and I mean this is
a late night show, so I feel I can say this,
Um dam was stupid commonly, Mrs Monroe was stupid. Kennedy.

(02:27:35):
I mean, how are you gonna be, Bro, there's no comparison,
you know, half tam back then, half cam back, half
tam been back in those days. He still couldn't you know,
I didn't do it, you know, I mean unless she
stole the Kennedy from her or whatever. But I mean

(02:27:58):
I swear like it's there's no comparison, bro. Interesting, Like
I want to back up angry Bill, you know. And
you know they call me art puff and stuff for
you know, certain reasons. And I'm a little bit puffed
and stuffed out right now, bro, Hey man, that's all.
It's all good man. I appreciate you checking in there.
He is art. Uh, there might be some Hashi so

(02:28:23):
soil in the vape cartridges right there. I think it's
what's going on. But I an interesting argument tail of
the tape. Kennedy, Tommy Lee, you know see where we're
going there? All right? John is in St. Paul real quick, John,

(02:28:45):
you're on Fox Sports right now. What's going on? Bud? Hey,
what's up? Yeah? A little comment, Angry Bill. We're picking
over positives right now, like family, Marly the role you
can't can't miss imagine, imagine, imagine Allen Monroe in a

(02:29:08):
you know, uh, social media that stuff. She'd be making
tapes with Kennedy for sure, right. I don't understand this
h Pamela Anderson blasphemy. Yeah, I don't understand the Pamela
Anderson blasphemy over here. That's my whole beef. If you go,

(02:29:29):
uh team Maryland, fine, I get it. But the utter
disrespect from angry Bill talking about Pamela Anderson like she
was Tulsa three, you know, like she's a des Moines
two or something like. The outrageous, out freaking rageous. I'll
not stand for it. Well not, Okay, we got nineteen

(02:29:52):
things to do. Coming up next, I want to get
you a quarterback that's got the desire, maybe out the
supporting cast, fight night, oh Man, and the description of descriptions.
We'll get you all of that before we get on
out of here. I'm Brian No It's the No Show.

Fox Sports Radio. So, uh, We've got these editors at

(02:30:35):
Fox Sports Radio. They do a tremendous job. They grab
the best sound in the sports world and sometimes beyond.
They have a cutsheet for us and we can call
for certain audio and spruce up the show a little
bit here and there. So every now and then I
just peruse it, do a little perusing of the cutsheet,
and something stands out and I'm like, oh, we gotta

(02:30:57):
play this on the show man. Absolutely, So this this
first one, Darnell Mooney, Bears wide receiver. He's talking about
his quarterback justin fields and just listen to what Darnell
has to say about the desires of Justin Fields. Here
you go just locking in and knowing what he wants
to do with this, with this offense, with this team,

(02:31:19):
and him as a quarterback in his lead. He wants to,
you know, take over the lead. And he's already Justin Fields,
I mean, but he wants to be the best quarterback
in the lead. So and uh, he's taking the stride
to you know, be there. And then I got unbelievable
faith that he will be there. And his success is
my success. So as long as he's doing good, I'm
doing good. I mean, we're rather doing good. Look, man,

(02:31:42):
it's the off season. Optimism is running rampant, and I
don't think he is anything to do crazy. He wants
to be the best in the league. That's fine. Look
I want a billion dollars doesn't mean it's gonna happen.
And this isn't just about Justin Fields and his skill level.
It's also about his supporting hast. I don't know what

(02:32:02):
Justin Field is supposed to do with this. Where Darnell Mooney,
he's a good receiver, but he's not a one. And
you got Equanimius st. Brown. Look shout out to the Irish,
But come on now, because like you've got Darnell Mooney,
Equanimius Velis Jones Jr. It was very good at Tennessee.

(02:32:23):
But he's a third round rookie. That's what you got
to throw too. I think it's gonna be a disaster
for the Bears this year. A disaster. The only thing
that's maybe gonna help justin fields, in terms of his stats,
in terms of his production, I think the team is
just gonna be overall wretched, and I think they're gonna

(02:32:45):
be trailing a lot in games, and you might face
some prevent defenses and you can Blake Bortles it. Remember
when Blake Bortles had that year where he threw thirty
five touchdown passes. A lot of that was against defenses
that were like, yeah, let's just well it's not allowed
the deep ball and get out of here with a win.
Portals is completing passes left and right. You know that

(02:33:06):
could help out justin fields, but the supporting cast is
not going to Now as far as another cut here,
this was Martellis Bennett. He was on double coverage and
it literally just says, Jimmy g is a bitch. That's
what it says, how can we not play that? On

(02:33:26):
the show? I mean really, So here is Martellis Bennett
talking about his time with the Patriots and his one
time teammate Jimmy Garoppolo. Bro We lost two games. One
of them was because Jimmy Garoppolo was being and then
trying to quit before us. On the last decided not
to play right before the game, so we went out
there Jacope. Jacope came out and played with a thumb

(02:33:47):
and gave his play his heart out. But Jimmy was
just being about it all and he's still being there,
like that's why he can't win with for a quarterback
first of all. So like that was the whole thing
with him. He didn't want to come out and like
do anything because he's agent with trying to protect his
body or something like that, which I can't fall from
for that, but like you should have made that decision
on Thursday, now Sunday, you know what I'm saying. So anyway,

(02:34:07):
so he's not going out there, so Jacoby strap up
and we lost to the Buffalo Bills, which we shouldn't
have lost. Okay, So you remember the season where Tom
Brady was suspended for the first four games because of
deflate Gate, the biggest fake controversy in the history of
the NFL. But Brady was out for the first four games.
Jimmy G suits up, plays pretty well the first two games,

(02:34:29):
Patriots win. Jimmy G has a shoulder issue as shoulders
a little iffy, little dicey, and Jimmy G says, I
can't go. I can't do it. And so Jacoby Brissette,
who was banged up had a thumb injury. He went
in there, gave it his best shot. They lost to
the Bills, and Martellis Bennett was not it's not fond

(02:34:52):
of Jimmy G not sucking it up. The funny thing
is Julian Edelman, he went on the I m Athlete
pod cast and he was like, yeah, I can understand
why Martellis would say that. I think that's even worse
than the initial comments martell has Bennett calls Jimmy G
a B word, says you can't win with a B

(02:35:13):
word at quarterback, and then Julian Edelman He's not like, oh, no, no, no,
Jimmy G. I just now I see it differently. That
wasn't his greatest moment, but he was a tough quarterback
Julian Edelman is like, yeah, I can see why Mark
Martellis would say that. Yeah, that's uh double whammy right

(02:35:34):
there for Jimmy G's rep. Okay, now this too, as
we proceed with our twenty seven stories before we get
on out of here, it is official Fight Night NFL style.
We got a celebrity boxing match at the end of July.
July lavy On Bell versus Adrian Peterson, and I love this.

(02:35:59):
They put this out on social media. It's just a
graphic and it says celebrity boxing match, No More Talk,
Battle of the running Backs. It's like the official slogan
of the boxing match. No more talk, as if what
you've heard Levan and Adrian Peterson talking smack for years?

(02:36:19):
Who would beat Who? I just love that. That is
the slow no more talk. All right, it's gonna be
at Crypto dot Com Arena in Los Angeles where the
Lakers play j Now here's the thing, real quickly. The
tail of the tape. It favors Levan Bell. I Gotta

(02:36:39):
be honest with you. Levan played eight NFL seasons, Adrian
Peterson played fifteen. Wear and Tear, Wear and Tear advantage
Levy on Bell. And also Levian thought about retiring from
the NFL. He was almost not even gonna join the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers because he was going full bore into

(02:37:01):
his boxing career. Boxing gods like that. Advantage Levy on Belt.
I think he gets it done. I'm gonna go Levy
on Bell. Also this too, on this undercard, you got
x NBA guard Nick Young, Swaggy P. He's gonna be
boxing a rapper blue Face on the undercard now. I

(02:37:24):
did hear the I Am Athlete podcast with Julian Edelman.
Nick Young was on that same episode. Swaggy P was
on the episode, and at the end of it he
was he was talking about how much weight he had
put on and now he's got a bigger stomach right
now and he's gotta gotta lose the weight. So maybe

(02:37:45):
advantage blue Face on that. I don't know blue faces
uh boxing credentials. I have no idea. I'm just going
by Nick Young not exactly having a washboard stomach right now,
so that might not work out. You know, I just
had this random thought. I'm sure you can bet on

(02:38:05):
this stuff. Imagine if you bet big on one of
these people. You know what I mean. You just go
all in on Nick Young and then they hit the
ring and you're like, oh gosh, this is a bad decision.
Absolutely a bad decision. Okay, so we've covered a lot
of ground tonight. Learned that Ricky's nickname in high school

(02:38:27):
was little cheese It. I love that. Also something that
we haven't put on wax just yet. This is off
the air, but in the Maryland Monroe versus Pam Anderson
debate here, which side are you on Ricky slash Little
cheese It? Huh? Who are you going with? Pam Anderson

(02:38:49):
all day? That's what I like to hear. The Pam
shaming tonight from angry Bill and beyond obnoxious. You know what,
I'm Team Pam two, Team Pam all day. Alrightybody, you
have a good morning. We'll catch you later. Howd yos
