Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports Radio. Can't wait? Do it?
Just do it? Make your dreams come true. The problems
really start now that's coming right up. But now it's
time to say good morning America. Yes it is that time.
It is Fox Sports Sunday, Andy Furman, and now it's
my pleasure to introduced my friend and partner, still one

(00:24):
and only, the hardest working man and show business today.
Med up Brian, No, hello, be, how are you give
me a salami submarine? What's up? Andy Furman? Thinks are good,
budd Everything is wonderful. I love it. We've got a
new producer again. I don't know if it's a message
sent to us that we can't keep people or a
great training ground. I don't get it. But Tab is

(00:45):
with us right now. Tap I strike as our new
guy and we want to welcome him. But I got
some problems that they think you saw moving and churning
in a different direction. That's how we roll, man, It's
like the final tap drummer. You know, at least our
producers aren't dead. That's the move on to other things.
But yeah, yeah, good week for you. Everything good, pretty good, good,

(01:12):
No complaints. I have something I want to do, which
I don't think I've ever done on this show. I
have some inner feeling to let out. I got a vent,
just a little bit. If I make, if you permit
me to, it will take more than maybe a thirty seconds.
That's about it. That's about Cincinnati. No no, no, no, no,
no no. I want to talk about the Presidential Medal

(01:33):
of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, and the medals
separate contributions to the prosperity, values or security of the
United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public, or
private endeavor. I guess it wanted. I guess who wanted
this year. President Biden gave it to Megan Rappino. And
I tell you what, no one said it better than

(01:54):
Phil Mushnik in the New York Post this morning. It's
unbelievable what he wrote about her, But he said she
was repulsive in her obnoxious, self smitten classes conduct throughout
the twenty nineteen Women's World Cup in France. The thoroughly
open modern Americans will moved to root against our team.
How on God's green Earth does Megan Rapino get the

(02:15):
Presidential Medal of Freedom? I don't get it. Move on
that's it. I feel better. Sometimes you are you are
a gem Andy Ferman. That's all I can say. This
is the most random intro you've ever had in our existence.
But here we are, Here we are. I had to

(02:35):
get out of my sister. Remember when they played, when
the US team played Thailand and they won thirteen nothing,
and she was just nothing more than a bully, nothing more.
You know, she had to get that easy goal to
make it nine nothing. It was look, I just hey, hey,
and it has nothing to do what what what? But
she stands for uh you know, her her sexual proud preference.

(02:57):
I don't care. I just think that she's a bull.
I don't think she should have gotten Thank you. I
feel better, all right? Let move on, no comments, nothing, Okay,
from wound up today, as you can tell him, a
little wound up. Okay, let's go to ball. Then let's
make you feel better, all right. And I guess the

(03:17):
story this week is I guess people expected this Baker
Mayfield trade to Carolina, and I said, what a miscalculation
for this Cleveland Browns team. May feel Let's go back
in time if we can, all right. He won the
Heisman Trophy number one pick in eighteen. I guess they
figured he was their franchise quarterback and in he led
the Browns touring eleven and five record. He got him
winning the playoffs. So after they get to Shawn Watson

(03:40):
in that trade, the Browns now obviously listen to this.
They pay Carolina. Mayfield is gonna get ten and a
half mill and Carolina is there paying only four point
eight six with some incentives in the contract. What a miscalculation.
And now they may be really behind the eight ball
because their quarterback which they traded for, the Shawn Watson,
who the hell knows what he gonna do, miss fluel

(04:01):
games eight games this season. What's gonna happen there? Well,
we don't know. We should know in the next couple
of weeks how long Deshaun Watson's going to be suspended,
and that will have a ripple effect. Also, could they
be in play for possibly Jimmy Garoppolo if Deshaun Watson
was suspended for the entire season, maybe that might be
the case. So we'll find out. I would assume in
the next couple of weeks, might be this next week,

(04:23):
but I think it's gonna be before training camp. You
gotta make a ruling on that as far as Baker goes.
You know what of my first thought, Sandy, is you
hear this a lot. Only the Browns, Only the Browns
would have all this guaranteed money designated to these quarterbacks
and neither one of them is gonna be behind center

(04:43):
to start the season with the Deshaun Watson, you know,
guaranteed contract with Baker Mayfield, and they still owed him
a chunk of that nearly nineteen million dollars that they
owed him this year. So I hear that all the time.
Can we look at the Panthers though? Can we shine
a light on the Panthers? So they have not only
traded for Sam Donald, they traded up for Matt Corral

(05:07):
and now they traded for Baker Mayfield. They have a
bunch of c list quarterbacks. And that's being kind and
and we're just gonna talk about only the Browns. Only
the Browns could have this. The funny thing to me, Andy,
is Carolina they were in on the Deshaun Watson sweepsteaks.
They were trying to get DeShawn Watson on their squad.

(05:29):
And for all these talking heads that are trapped in
this two mindset, they cannot look beyond two. Don't you
realize that Carolina was trying to do exactly what the
Browns did by landing DeShawn Watson, And I realized two
is a fiasco. It is chaos right now. They don't
even know. The Browns don't even know if Deshawn's gonna

(05:51):
suit up for a single game. But beyond two, they're
in a much better spot than Carolina is at quarterback,
not even close. Look, I will tell you right now,
I think both teams are kind of like flowing in
the wind, if you know what I mean. I think
the Browns have no idea what they're doing. At least
Carolina has some semblance of quarterbacking. And I guess the

(06:12):
fact that they got Baker, I guess he's the lead guy.
Although what I've been reading and hearing, it's like an
open competition. So we'll see what happens there. But he's
got to get down there early to at least learn
the playbook and learn the personnel. So they got him
at a good point in time. As far as Cleveland's concerned,
who's their quarterback? You mentioned maybe they go Jimmy g
maybe Jacoby per said, they have no idea, what's gonna

(06:32):
go on. They have to wait for the ruling, and
that basically they're behind the April. So you're probably right
that Carolina probably does have the edge. Plus, I think
Carolina plays in a weaker conference basically than with Cleveland's
playing in the division of there, and so I think
Carolina may be in a better shape. Plus, you got
a Baker Mayfield that has a big time chip on
his shoulder, wants to show. Oh gosh, Baker with the

(06:55):
chip on his shoulder, look out, look, Baker is upset.
Now that's motivational. Baker Field that over there in early
July to a brand new team, has a few weeks
to get into the playbook, learn the terminology, established chemistry
with a brand new set of teammates. Look out, Baker's mift. Now,
watch out, he's gonna throw for sixty five touchdown pass.

(07:18):
Give me a break. Like Baker Mayfield with a chip
on his shoulder. He's always been that guy, and he's
always been below average in the NFL. I hear this
a lot of Baker's he's got a chip. I don't care.
I don't care if he's got the biggest chip on
his shoulders motivation, he's not. You got to give me that.
A chip on your shoulder is somewhat of a motivational tool.
I think do people do need motivation and whatever line

(07:40):
of work that they're in, whatever it means, money, sales,
whenever you are, you need motivation. However, I will tell
you this much. You know you got a downgrade Baker,
And that's fine. The guy came up with some pretty
good credentials out of college and kind of a someone
of a bust as far as a franchise quia about
the college. But there's a million times bank. The Mayfield

(08:00):
right now, in my mind, could be a starter on
several teams in the National Football League right now, including Seattle.
Including Seattle. It was better than Drew lock. Wow, this
is what's funny to me. Also, a lot of people
tell on themselves. They're trying to like bump up, like
put Baker on a like in this higher ground, and
they actually do a disservice. But he could start on Seattle.

(08:24):
He should if he's any good whatsoevery anybody should start
with Seattle. Right now. You've got Drew lockin Gino Smith.
That's not a compliment, that's actually this right. Okay, I'm
not saying that he's a franchise quotterback, but I think
you're burying the guy. And I think Carolina can make
some noise because I have some personnel not as good
as an offensive line as Cleveland, and then on the

(08:45):
running backs that Cleveland happen, I think that he can
make some noise with the Carolina Panthers. I really believe
had a difference maker. That's all I'm telling you. He's
not a difference maker. We've seen this over four years.
He's proven time and time and time and time again,
and he is not a guy. He had a lot
of talent around him in Kleeveland. And the funny thing is,

(09:06):
I'm reading all these articles and it's like, oh, the
the the Panthers have definitely upgraded at quarterback, really have they? Seriously?
I don't know that Baker Mayfield is better than Sam Donald.
And for a second, for anyone who's like, no, that's
just a little bit too much there, no, really, So
what do you think Baker Mayfield would have done if

(09:27):
he were on the New York Jets for three years?
Just like Sam Donald was? Baker Mayfield struggled with a
much better team, much better offensive line, better weapons to
throw to, outstanding running game, and still struggled. What do
you think he's doing with the Jets. So if you
flip flop those two quarterbacks, I think it's the opposite.
I think people are saying, oh, Sam Donald's the better

(09:48):
quarterback than Baker Mayfield. I think a lot of it
had to do with circumstance. I think a lot of
it had to do with which teams those players played for.
So I don't even think Baker Mayfield is they slam
dunk better quarterback than Sam Darnald, who has been brutal
in the NFL. You know, it all goes back to
what we say, yes to quoteback, probably the most valuable

(10:10):
player on the team, maybe the most viable position in
sport in general. But if you don't have the personnel
around you, forget about it. Forget about that's if you
are not a difference maker. We've seen difference maker quarterbacks compensate.
They're like makeup. They're like rouge and lip gloss, an eyeliner.

(10:30):
They cover up for the the faults, the deficiencies of
the roster. Look at Tom Brady is a good example.
His early days with the Patriots. Look at who he
was throwing too, seriously, look at his weapons. He won
three out of four Super Bowls thrown to guys like
Dion branch and David Gibbons, Bethel Johnson. Those are b

(10:52):
rate receivers. If you're a difference maker, you're going to
make it work, even if you don't know how many
difference makerall you have ready, that's the whole point, right,
big question. When you talk about Tom Brady throughout his
career in New England, he may have thrown to maybe
one or two Hall of Fame receivers. I'm gonna go
back and tell you about Justin Fields, a quarterback of
the Chicago Bears. He may be a great talent, I

(11:13):
don't know if he's a difference maker, but he has nothing,
nothing whatsoever to work with with the Bears offense. Nothing,
He has no receivers. You put him on another team,
he may shine. He may not be a difference making,
may not be a franchise quarterback, but he certainly will
be a better player and will do better and you'll
think more of him. But on the Bears, he has
no chance. He has no chance doing it with the Bears.
This year. Okay, so, and he's early in his development

(11:36):
and he does not have a whole lot around him.
But let me ask you this. If Tom Brady was
in year two just like Justin Fields is, and he
had the exact same supporting staff, the same you know,
complimentary pieces. What do you think he does? But they
go to the playoffs? They go to the playoffs. Okay,
that's a maker, I agree with you. Don't find out

(11:58):
that the jury is out on Justin Fields the football player.
We'll find out as the years go by. But that's
what I'm telling you. An actual difference maker makes a difference.
That's given you tell me if they were difference makers
in the national football like Drew Brees difference maker absolutely, Okay,
Aaron Rodgers for sure, Yes, Okay, who else is a
difference maker? Really? I mean, I love that you threw

(12:23):
in breeze. That was Joe Burrows a difference maker. Um,
Matthew Stafford is a difference maker. Matthew Stafford is a
good example. Right, Matthew Stafford played well in Detroit, but uh,
the the wins and losses that had way more to
do with the people around Matthew Stafford. So I'm not

(12:44):
expecting you to go twelve and five and make the
playoffs with a week supporting staff I don't expect that,
but I expect a difference making quarterback to still be competent,
to not just be like I get. Look at Sam
Donald with the Jets, it was just like I can't
do anything right. It's there's partially him too. His receiver
now Robby Anderson saying the Jets stunted his growth. That's true,

(13:08):
but Sam also stunted the Jets growth as well. It
works both ways there. Okay, my my question uses let's
go back to Matthew Stafford. You know, if in fact
you tell me he's a difference maker, look what he did.
He did well. He had big numbers in Detroit with
not much personnel, but he came to California and they
win the Super Bowl. But is he the difference maker

(13:28):
or is it the players around him? Great defense and
the best receiver of football? So so is he truly
a difference maker? That's the question I have. If he's
a difference maker, he would have put Detroit in the playoffs. Again,
I'm telling you, I'm not expecting you to go to
the playoffs year and year out if you don't have
much around you. Correct, that's not what I'm expecting. But
I am expecting you to not be a complete dud

(13:51):
and throw interception. Scalore put up these awful numbers that
that's at least what I'm expecting, and that's what Matthew
Stafford did. He put up good number was in Detroit.
Some of those years were outstanding, and so I'm not
gonna fault him for not going to the playoffs year
in and year out when the supporting cast stinks. Right,
But I'm expecting you to do something. You can't just

(14:13):
be a complete dud, but you will admit this, do
if when when they won the Super Bowl, I don't
I'm not so certain he got the credit he deserved
it less they say, well, hey, he was a Detroit
didn't do anything, and now he came with these great
players and now they win. So I don't think he
was given the accolades that maybe he should have been
given because they didn't realize what kind of a quarterback
he really was. Obviously the Rams knew that's what that's

(14:34):
why they went after him. But certainly I think the
general public and said, well, you know, anybody could have
won and with the Rams because of the personal Nay, okay, fine,
but we're getting away from the point here. A difference maker,
they will at least put up good individual numbers regardless
of their situation. They're not going to be a complete disaster.
Sam Donald was a disaster with the Jets because he's

(14:57):
not a difference maker. Baker Mayfield put up completely mediocre numbers.
He put up below average numbers last year with a
good supporting cast, a big deal he had A've seen
other quarterbacks fight through the same injury and put up
much better numbers. Not a difference maker, just a guy.

(15:20):
I don't care that he's got a chip on his shoulder.
He isn't talented enough to do anything with that chip.
That's what my last question to you and I want,
and I know you'll give me an honest answer. You
don't have to be a difference maker to win. What
I'm saying is that, yeah, I agree with you that
Baker Mayfield said the run of a lot quarterbacks, not
a franchise quarterback, not a difference maker. But you can

(15:41):
win with him. That's the key. Carolina can make the
playoffs with Baker Mayfield. I mean, good luck. The NFC
is not a gauntlet, so you have that in your favor.
But again, when you're passer, rating is below Taylor Heinecky
and Daniel Jones and the Giants last year, which is

(16:01):
what Baker Mayfield did like this, I don't know he's
like this. Uh, he's in. He's a polarizing guy. People
feel very strongly about him. But no, not a difference maker.
I would not go to Vegas and bet on Carolina
to do anything of great note at all this season.
He's in. It's July and he's just getting into the

(16:22):
playbook now, and we're betting on Baker because he got
a chip on his shoulder. They're not gonna sniff the playoffs.
I understand now. Now I'm gonna make you crazy. You
know who a difference maker is and I gotta go
to Cincinnati. Joe Burrow is a difference maker. I alright,
said Joe Burrow. You did, I didn't hear you. I
want to make sure you said it again. All Right,

Well that's right around the corner. He's Brian oam Andy Furman,
a little ball, a little basketball, and an NBA basketball
and be I gotta tell you, finally there's a shining

(18:10):
light in the wilderness. And you know this man, you
lived in this city. I gotta commend him, because I'm
pretty big. I'm banging on athletes that do stupid things
and I kind of put them in the limelight. But
here's a guy that deserves some credit. I want to
shake his hand if I ever got a chance to
meet him. Damian Lillard made it clear that he wants

(18:30):
to stay. Signed a two year extension d Mill. I
don't care how much money they gave him. He says
he wants to live with the organization even if they
can't cannot win the title during his career. Good for you,
somebody who's not whining and crying and trade me. I
love that. I love when I read that. You know
Damian a little bit. Don't you you out there in Portland?

(18:51):
Well I was. I was out there for three years
and I respect Dame like crazy. He does an amazing job.
He's a great leader. I think he's one of the
athletes he always, uh makes an effort when he's doing
interviews and uh that's postgame interviews. He's not short. He
gives you a thoughtful answer every single time. I respect
that about the guy. There are plenty of athletes that

(19:12):
do not do that, So I respect Dame like crazy.
But and he's loyal to Portland, there's no doubt. But man,
the Blazers made it a lot easier. Two years, a
hundred and twenty two million dollars. That's a ton of
bread right there. And that kicks in after the next
three seasons, that two year extensions, so he's still under
contract for the next three seasons. Then he has that

(19:35):
two year extension, and I just think, Andy, look, that's
big for the Blazers. They're paying for it. That's big
for them that he doesn't want to go elsewhere. But
I'll tell you what, man, James Harden leaving fifteen million
dollars on the table to sign his two year deal,
even though Damian Lillard is a better player, that's a
better value to get James Harden at the rate they

(19:56):
got him where it is much less money than the
Blazes they're getting for Damian Lillard. So I just make
the better value is what the Sixers got with her.
I do agree with you, then, little I think only
played thirty games list year. That yeah, yeah, So I
mean there's a situation there, I think concerning yourself with
the health. Although you look at a guy like James Harden,
you know his health is somewhat okay, but his age

(20:17):
is up there. Plus he gets himself out of shape.
But I think he'll get himself back in shape right
now because I think he's on a decent team from
the year. From the beginning of the season. They got
p J. Tucker, who's a little older but I think
he's a vet, and they got Joel Embat So I
think this team can make some sort of noise in Philadelphia.
So we'll see what happens there with hard Well. Yeah,
and that's the interesting part too, Andy is uh, you

(20:39):
don't think of unselfish and team oriented when you think
of James Harden. For obvious reasons. He wanted his way
out of Houston. He kicked and scream got his way
out of Brooklyn, so you don't think team oriented. But
that was a team oriented move to leave fifteen million
dollars on the table. He had a player option this
season for forty seven and point three million, and he'll

(21:02):
make under thirty three million. That's a big deal for
the Sixers. So and I also think with Harden, he's
going this is a contract year for him. So if
there's ever a time to dedicate yourself to training in
the off season, hit the ground running when the regular
season begins, it's this coming season. So I think James

(21:22):
Harden will be a lot better this coming year than
he was what we saw him last season with the
Nets and the Sixers, the the two headed thing. So
I think what the Sixers are gonna get this season
out of James Arden, it might even be better than
what the Blazers are gonna get out of Damian Lillard
four seasons from now. That's the key, and James Harden

(21:43):
is only about eleven months older than Damian Lillard. There's
not much age difference either. I would say this though,
there's a small window of opportunity for this Philadelphia's seventies
Sixers team to win. And if James Harden has any
smart she'll realize that because you've got p J. Tucker's match,
I got the guy House, they got Tobias Harris, they
got Joel Embiid. They got guys that could really make

(22:04):
a run, uh for the playoffs and go deep in
the playoffs if in fact he realizes that and they
do play as a unit. I think they can. I
know it's tough. The East is tough, but you know,
I'm not so certain. The Celtics better themselves in drafting
this year, and they got some problems. They really do,
so we'll see what happens. But I think Philadelphia can
make some noise. Well, getting Malcolm Brogden is a big

(22:25):
deal for the Celtics. They didn't have to draft to
have a difference maker. Malcolm Brogden is a good yet
for them. So they are a better basketball team. But
hey man, the Sixers are gonna be in the Thickett things.
If James Harden looks like James Harden at least similar
He looked nothing like James Harden in the playoffs last season.

(22:45):
If he is somehow able to regain his form, uh yeah,
that would be absolutely mammoth for the Sixers. But at
least they can sign p J. Tucker with James Harden
leaving some cash on the table, that's a big deal.
So again, Amy and Lillard better player. No one's disputing that,
but the better value if you're comparing two year deals,
it's with Harden And I don't think it's even closed, right,

(23:08):
And I'll tell you why. I again I imploud Damian Lillard. Uh,
certainly you can't turn away two two years from a
d two mill Portland. I'm not saying that crazy if
you're doing that, But I think a lot of it
had to do with, you know, the public the public
image situation, like he's one of ours. He wants to
be here, he wants to play here, and what he
said was unbelievable, said, you know, I'd love to win
a championship with this organization, but if not, I still

(23:30):
want to finish my career in Portland. So I think
that's a big deal. I I really do, in this
day and age at least, that there's a big deal.
You don't see much of that. Yeah, well, real fast
on Dame. He has talked about Dirk Navitski before, and
that's sort of the goal. He would like to recreate
that where Dirk Navitski stayed loyal to Dallas for all
those years a couple of decades and finally won a

(23:51):
championship and that's what Dame is hoping he'll be able
to do. I hope he does do that. But he
could be Reggie Miller. He could be a guy who
sticks around the whole time and doesn't win a championship.
And I keep on thinking, would it be better if
he was Kevin Garnett. Where Kevin Garnett was with the
Minnesota Timberwolves for a long long time, finally left, went

(24:13):
to Boston, won a championship and that was a huge
part of his legacy. So I just wonder that for Dame.
I hope that he doesn't stay with Portland and never
win a championship. And thinks a great point, Kevin Garnett
was in the shadows of the NBA untilean went to Boston.
That's right. Yeah. So that's the thing is you could
have three different options, right. He could be Dirk and

(24:35):
stay in Portland and win a championship. He could be
Reggie Miller, stay in Portland, not win a championship. And
option three is go elsewhere and maybe cash in legacy wise,
like Kevin Garnett did last but not least, you lived
in Portland for three years. I welthough it's not a
major market of somewhat off Broadway. What kind of support
did they get both attendance wise and with the media
in Portland. They it's a Blazer's town man, that's the

(24:58):
only show in town profession only, so they are all
about collegiately to really when you think about it, right state, Yeah,
Eugene is you know there. It's a little drive there
for the University of Oregon. So yeah, it's huge Blazers town,
there's no doubt. And I guess there would be a
fourth option, Andy, where if Damian Lillard did leave, went
to another team until they win a championship there, So

(25:20):
I guess the fourth option would exist as well. All right,
he's probably no, I'm Andy Firm and this is Fox.
What's Onny Fox Split's radio. He won't be traded, but again,
who'd want him? But we want this guy. It's Brian Finley,
he's got the late Oh. Andy, I love how perky
you are and i'll fire you are, and how energetic
you are this morning and really just yeah revs the
Engines if you will, ye, yeah, yeah, I like that. So,

(25:44):
by the way, two and a half hours until we
get this, yes, yes, Jerry Jones two and a half
hours until we get this Wimbledon final often running Nick
Kurios and Novak Djokovic, and Djokovic is going for his
twenty second Grand Slam championship and his seventh Wimbledon crown.
Curios has made it to the Grain Slam final of

(26:05):
any store. This is his first appearance in one, and
he did it after a walkover in beating Roth Nadal.
As far as I think he's gonna get worked by
the Joker today, I agree, I totally how come you
out there? Why aren't you there? You're a tennis guy. Well,
I have to admit I have interviewed both of these
guys at the two thousand eight ten U s Open,

(26:26):
and the one time interviewed Nick Curios, it was a
controversial match, and anytime Curios plays, it's musty TV because
he always brings drama off the court, whether he's yelling
at somebody or screaming an obscenity, or doing some underhand
serve or upsetting his opponent. But he looked like guys
he was throwing the match. And then the chair umpire

(26:50):
actually gave him a pep talk, which is totally out
of bounds, right, and he says something like, Nick, you're
better than this. Play better, like like like can you imagine?
And and all of a sudden, Nick totally it was
a mental switch that went off, and then he started

(27:10):
to just totally destroy his opponent and came back in one.
And that little pep doc was the fire starter. He's
an interesting guy. He's just in his own head already
about this championship match. He's like Joker has been here before.
I haven't. I'm just thinking about every detail and I
don't have the experience. I'm like, he's gonna get worked. Yeah,

(27:30):
he is. And one of the interesting things about him
is that he wants to be an NBA player. Like
he's always wearing jerseys walking onto the court. He will
walk on court with basketball shoes, and then when he
actually has to go out there on the court and participate,
then he'll put the tennis shoes on. But he is
an NBA player that is a tennis player. It's really

(27:52):
interesting to to get inside of his mind a little
bit as it is to get inside Brian no in
Andy Furman's mind. But as far as some Major League
Baseball games from yesterday and notable ones, the Dodgers claim
a win against the Cubs for tow two, the Giants
pastor the Padres three toWin San Diego was selling to
three hits. The Red Sox get it done in ten

(28:13):
innings against the Yankee six to five. Alex Forerdugo drove
in the game winning run of the tenth. Austin Riley
and homer for the Braves as they stick into the
Nationals four to three. Pete Alonso hits a homer for
the Mets as they devour the Marlins five to four,
and the Athletics topple the Astros three to two to
spite Oakland coming up with just four hits. And finally,

(28:33):
guys the Genesis Scottish Open. I would like to see
Andy Firman and a kilt, by the way, and I
know that's completely unruly. Oh you are. I'm surprised you're
wearing something. Usually it's nothing during this Okay, Well, whatever helps.
Xander Shofflely sixties sixty fired on Saturday. He is your

(28:54):
leader of minus seven two shot lead heading into today's
final round. Andy, I know you know nothing about shooting
low scorers in golf. It's all about I know nothing
about everything. That's what your family says about you, but
we still love you as I send it back to you.
And Brian know who knows a lot about a lot
of things. There you go, that's why he's here. There

(29:14):
you go. I've seen an hour. Hey, he had the
best contract in sports. That's coming right up? Hey is
Brian No knows a lot about everything. I'm Andy Ferman
know nothing about nothing. And we got Bronx took rading
about six seven minutes from now. But it's about Ben
Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets. You know, I understand that
Kevin Durant is the story of the hour Detrade story.
He's requested one. But Ben Simmons earned thirty three million

(29:37):
year ago he didn't play a game. That's gotta be
the greatest story in the world of sports. I mean,
how how in the world you pulled out off? I
don't get it. I don't get it. I mean, it's unbelievable.
In twenty nineteen, he signed a five year, one seventies
seven million rookie MACS extension. Didn't play, and I guess
the Nets would like to unload him with the package
I guess with k D. But who would want him?

(29:58):
You know you want to see him on the lure.
I would think before you would take a chance on him,
right beat, Well, you would like that. You would have
liked to see him on the floor last season in
the playoffs and he didn't get on the floor for
that four game suite at all, And uh yeah, I mean, look,
if you could get something of note for Ben Simmons,

(30:19):
I'd move him in a heartbeat. I would take something
that you can rely on more than than Ben Simmons.
He's a lottery ticket. Who knows what's gonna happen if
does he get right physically and mentally and then come
back and you tap into his unlimited uh you know,
uh talent over there. Maybe, but I wouldn't bet on

(30:39):
that happening. So yeah, if the Nets were able to
move him, I would do it in a heartbeat if
they could get something for him. The question is, why
would you trade for a guy and give up a
ton for him. I don't know a team that would
do that unless they were just forced to. And that
was a unique situation where the Beard wanted out, Ben
Simmons wanted out and the trade happened. So unless you
have another situation like that, I don't think he's going anywhere. Yeah,

(31:02):
you're speaking of the deals. Well, Bradley Beale, he gets
a five year deal towards your fifty one mill with
the Washington Wizards. I mean the money of the NBA.
I mean, I don't want to hear these owners crying
anymore or talking about TV ratings are down. It's all
much the money is is. It's like water. They turn
on the force, the water is coming out. It's unbelievable
the amount of money. And some of these players started
getting this money in the National Basketball Association. Well, we

(31:26):
know that they it's a rich league, and the rosters
aren't even close to us as deep as an NFL
roster is, right, if you think about fifteen roster spots,
no wonder that top guys are making huge money. The
thing that stands out to me is Bradley Beale got
a no trade clause. He's the only active player in
the league with the no trade clause. We've only seen

(31:47):
this ten times in league history, and so he's the
only guy. So what does that tell you to me?
It tells me if you look at the Washington Wizards,
you might be an organization that has to sweeten the pot.
A little bit to compete with other teams, and so
to give Bradley Beal a no trade clause and to
make it more appealing to him and reward him for

(32:07):
being around as long as he has. I can understand
why they would do it, and it makes me think,
this is where my mind goes Andy. It makes me
think of the Cleveland Browns they got, how Cleveland got
banged on two D thirty million dollars and guaranteed money
for Deshaun Watson and all the draft picks. It's Cleveland.
You might have to go above and beyond to sweeten
the pot, depending on your track record as an organization

(32:31):
where you're located. I ad it's not sunny Los Angeles
over there, you might have to overpay. And so Yeah,
I think that Washington overpaid for Bradley Beale and sweeten
it with the no trade clause. Let's put it this way.
Not every organization in the NBA would have had to
do the same thing to sign him. But the Wizards
did that and the Browns did that. Sometimes you gotta

(32:52):
do that. Sometimes you have to overpay depending on where
you're at and what your history is. Yeah, they have
not gotten passed a second round in the the A
players is like the last five six years ago. And look,
they've had a revolving door point guard alongside Bill John
wool was there. They just don't have it. But they
got some players now. But I'm not so certain they
got a players. I like you talked about the Cleveland Browns.

(33:14):
They don't have a franchise guy. They don't have a
guy that could turn them around. That got the Porzingis.
I don't think he's gonna get anything done. He's a
decent player, but he's not a game changer. Porzingis that
got him with Dallas. No, and that's fine. The Wizards
aren't gonna do anything. We know that. And so you
could question, hey, why even signed Bradley Beal? Why why

(33:35):
not bottom out and you know, build from scratch. Fine,
you could question the move, but I'm just telling you,
in order to get the guy with their track record,
and you're gonna have to sweeten the pot to a
degree that other teams are not going to. And that's
what happened, right, The Wizards were able to offer him
something that other teams weren't able to. And uh so

(33:57):
I find that to be pretty interesting. But I think
that he lose that in the shuffle quite a bit,
Like this organization paid what for this guy? And oftentimes
it's like, well there's a reason they had to pay
that much, you know. But my question is this, you know,
I understand that Sweeten the Public was just not an
attractive situation going there. That basically a bottom feeder, that's
what they are. However, why would he want to no trade?

(34:19):
Why wouldn't he want to go there? I get good
money for a year or two, and then Bolton get
the hell out of there, like John wool did. Well.
Andy again, he uses the no trade if they want
to trade him to a place he doesn't want to
go to. You I understand that, and probably he will
not finish his career there that I guarantee you he'll
be out of there. But I mean maybe it's possible,

(34:40):
but it just gives him more assurances. Look at Kevin
Durant for instance. Kevin Durant does not have a no
trade clause. If the Minnesota Timberwolves took up the nets
on their trade offer, Katie's going to Minnesota right like,
he doesn't have a saying that. Now, Bradley Beale could
be like I'm gonna exercise my no trade clause, so

(35:00):
trade will not be happening. It just gives you a
few more assurances. That's all Bryan know, Andy Furman, Fox

names in the w n b A. Come on, I can't.
It's a pretty Rather watch it. I know you can. Brian.
I'm just saying, you know Andy over here, he's he's
not gonna live up to that got you got you? Yeah, No,
I'm all about it. We thought chet Home granted Jabari
Smith last night that was pretty good. I watched so good.

(36:52):
This is a good draft with a good draft. A
lot of guys out there. J Nivey and all those
guys like, hey, you know, how about you? Are you
a chet Home Grend guy? I'm not watching. You know
what I got? I got I got money on this
American Century thing. You know who's not hot? He's freaking
Steph Curry, who dropped from like tenth to he's screwing

(37:12):
me up here? Way did he dropping? What's that? What
did he drop? In? He was position, he was tent,
he was tied for tenth on Friday. Now he's down. Yeah.
The celebrity golf American Century. What happened to him over there?
A couple of I don't know, he just fell off.
Bertie Berties would improve his score and because Berties listen

(37:38):
to you, listen to you. Adam feelings doing more. He's
like tied for actually no wait, Adam feelings the top.
He's like tied for third. Get out of here. I
didn't know he was doing good. Adam freaking feeling over you?
Tied with Derek Low. What's this thing called again? American Century?
American Century? Yeah, I don't know, just I just know.
Steph Curry's what are the big names you did? I

(37:59):
don't know, but let me tell you some big names.
Mark Molda, who's uh yeah, the old picture over there?
Oh is that? Who is? Yeah? Adam, just like you said,
Tony Romo Ti Fi, he's always he He's got plenty
of time to play golf. Two guys who could be
playing golfing instead of going to the All Star Game.

(38:21):
Just see this so Albert Pools and Miguel Cabrera, I'll
go into the All Star Game, and it's creating some
ruckus because like those guys are too old. Like those
guys are old. They can barely move it on the
base paths here, but they're kind of getting in there
like some ex claiming it's like a lifetime achievement of
wood and exhibition. It's not meaning. It doesn't mean a thing.

(38:41):
You gotta they did it back in the You would
be the guy who would be arguing about the sanctity
of baseball over here, and you've give me these guys
a pass. Yeah, if they deserve it. Yeah, it's nothing new.
It's a legacy choice over there. They freaking deserve it.
You're freaking back off that, Chris bad. I'm just I'm
just asking what about the little guy here who did
not get a spot because we're gonna watch Olburt pool

(39:03):
holes the first That's what you're not understanding over here.
They made more spots for they could have made you
got a problem, you got a problem with You know
what they should do cut back the number of teams
that have to be represented. If you're in a bad team, period, right, no,
what do you you mean watching every TV represented This is

(39:27):
good play as in every team. What do you want?
Not all stars? Now I hear him on that. I
it's a that's a decent point over there. But I
have no problem with Miguel Cabrera right now. But think
about the home run derby. Maybe that'd be crazy. I'll
be something so alright, speaking of a guy who was
thriving out here at old age, do you know where

(39:49):
Jake Plummer is right now? No idea where? Rowing mushrooms?
What is seven year old Plumber is now growing? What
is the name of this business here? It is Alternative
Menaces Medicine, Michael Love Farms, making over eight thousand dollars
a month in revenues. Guy's just drawing mushrooms over here.
So good for him. You know, special kind of mushrooms,

(40:11):
special kind that make you feel special kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
you see exactly what I'm saying. Only in Colorado. What
a wonderful state, Colorado. I know, I'm surprised that he's
not in the American Century Championship over there. Yeah, he
played pizza last news and it's a sad one. So
apparently in the world Cup is gonna be in cutter.

(40:32):
News is out from Royd's this week. There's not gonna
be bs served to the games, what not in the stadiums.
Bring your own cancel the World Cup. This might be
the biggest sports story this summer, but also the most tiring.
We'll tell you all about it in a minute. Welcome everybody,

(40:52):
Good morning America. This is Fox Sports Sunday. I'm Andy
Ferman and now it's my pleasure, my indeed pleasure to
take out the red carpet introduced my partner and friend
that wanted only Brian No. Hello be Hello Bay. What's up.
How's it going, Andy Ferman? Things are good, buddy, Everything
was great? Really is what's the what's the chimpanzee doing back?

(41:13):
They're gonna back on the cage, you know, Thank you
very much. All right, now we've got some big news,
Thank you very much. You know some big stories that
have happened over the least several weeks. NFL free agency
obviously always big, no doubt about that. The Baker Mayfield trade.
The other day, Deshaun Watson was still winning for the
outcome of that going to the Browns. Who is gonna
be suspended? Or not whatever, And of course the college

(41:35):
conference realignment USC and U C l A to the
Big Ten, anything else anything? Of course, how about the
ongoing saga of Kevin Durant, of the Brooklyn Nets being
trader wanted to be traded? Are you tired of this yet?
I mean, what's more tiring to Kevin Durant deal or
did Deshaun Watson case to be? Uh? Just the resolving

(41:56):
of it? I mean, what's more tiring in your mind?
I think it's the Shawn Watson that situation. We've been
talking about this for months. How long is the suspension
gonna be? Is it gonna be half the season? Is
it gonna be the full season? It's gonna be ten games.
We're just waiting and waiting. We've been in a holding
pattern for a lot longer than the k D situation.
I'm not worn out by the k D situation at all.

(42:17):
We've had what a little more than a week of
this hasn't been very long, so um yeah, not worn out.
Seven ish days is not enough to wear me out.
I thought that the the news that Vincent Goodwill of
Yahoo dropped saying that he heard the Nets offered k
D to the Timberwolves for Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards

(42:39):
and for draft picks, was like, Holy cow, it's to
ask for. I know this is Kevin Durant we're talking about,
but there's a reason why the Timberwolves said yeah. So
I thought that was interesting. I'm not worn out by
this now, even when I tell you what, I'm more
excited about the KD deal because you don't know what's
gonna happen, where it's gonna end up. We know the
possibility is with the Shawn Watson suspension for just for

(43:02):
how long season? Four games? Eight games, so the a
BOC with him. But I think the KD situation got
some landing spots over there. Uncertainly, he's got that contract
he started three years old. He's got a four year
deal signed with the Brooklyn Nets, which he says, I
want out of here. I don't want to be here anymore.
So I guess the most recent situation when I've been
reading about is maybe reuniting with Golden State, and they

(43:23):
kind of pressed Steph Curry the other day and he
was very evasive about that. Good for him because it
would have been a tampering situation. I don't think he's
going back to Golden State. I'll tell you that right now.
I don't think he's going there. Well, the players can
say pretty much whatever they want about players. They can
openly recruit each other. I don't think the NBA would
have stepped in and been like whoa, whoa Steph Curry

(43:45):
and lowered the boom with a fine. But if you're
an executive, you can't say anything. Remember when Magic Johnson
was with the Lakers and he just gave a compliment
to Janice and was like, he's a heck of a player.
He got fined fifty dollars for saying that. It's crazy.
The NBA will hammer executives for saying anything, but players
get a free pass. If Steph Curry said something about

(44:07):
k D, he's not gonna get fined for it. But
I would hate to see Kevin Durant go back to
Golden State. This air of basketball has been a lot
more interesting without a super team, and so the last
thing I want to see is another super team, and
especially a recreation of one like the second Interestion iteration
of one with k D going back there. I would

(44:27):
hate to see that be the case. But some of
the teams that k D has lined out that he
has interested in going to would involve creating a super team.
Was one of those teams, excuse me, the Miami Heat,
And if he reunites with Jimmy Butler, bam At a
Bail and Kyle Lowry, that all of a sudden, to
me becomes a super team. Well, you gotta give something up,
all right, I don't think they're gonna have everybody there

(44:50):
to get Kevin Durant. You're gonna have to give something up.
Of note, you'd have to give up draft picks go
lore to still keep that core together. So m like,
look at Minnesota. That again is a good example of
could you have a situation where your team is gutted
where if you get rid of Karl Anthony Towns and
Anthony Edwards that those are your two prominent players to

(45:12):
get Kevin Durant. So the point is you're not adding
k D to your star talent. You're taking the start
talent and offering a trade package to get Kevin Durant.
So it really depends on where k D lands and
what that team has to give up to get him,
because you're not just adding him to all the stars
that you have, you might might be replacing some of

(45:33):
your stars with k D. Yeah, And it's funny because
I don't think it's gonna be that easy of a
deal because obviously A Brooklyn wants a big hole, and
after they saw what happened in Minnesota recently, they want
a big hole. And b I'm not so certain a
team that is basically on the cusp of going deep
in the playoffs is gonna sacrifice what they have, you know,
for a k D who's study three years of age.

(45:55):
They may be looking at a team that may be
looking to build for the future to get k D.
And that's not Nadi on his list as one of
the potential teams he wants to go to now, because
you're not going to if you're just an up and
coming team, you're not going to trade all of these assets,
a bunch of draft picks. Maybe you have a rising
star or a current All Star, you're not gonna trade that.

(46:18):
If you're just an up and coming team for Kevin Durant, who,
like he said, he turns thirty four in September, you're
not gonna do that. That's a go for it, Like
we're on the cusp of a title, and if we
can get Kevin Durant, we are confident we are a
championship team, an up and coming team. Trading all that
for k D when it doesn't guarantee that you're a
championship team, that's not going to happen. Well, let's look

(46:40):
at a team like the New Orleans Pelicans. I mean,
they came alive a little bit in that first round
playoff deal against the Sons. They didn't want obviously, but
you know, they get Kevin Durant with what you guys
see J McCullum, you know him, a brandon ingram zion,
and all of a sudden they've become competitive. If in
fact New Orleans has anything of stock to get to
give Brooklyn a return, that's the key. Sure, No, I

(47:04):
think that again, it depends, right, it depends. Let's just
say that k D went to the Pelicans and they
offered something that the nets jumped at. Well, what is that?
Is that a bunch of current talent? Is it a
mixture of some current talent and a lot of draft
picks depending on what they give up. Yeah, if Kevin

(47:24):
Durant is surrounded by a lot of talent, they could
be a real player in the West. It just depends
on what the trade exactly looks like, let's do this now,
let's do what if? What if the Brooklyn Nets do
a pushback and say, wait a minute, you know we
got a contract with you here, he ain't going anywhere.
What happens? Then? I don't see it happening. But I've
been reading lately that a lot of these teams are

(47:45):
doing pushback saying, uh, you know, you gotta not cut deal,
you gotta you gotta no trade, you gotta contract with us,
you ain't going anywhere. Could happen? I doubt it, though, Well,
it's not a no trade, it's just contract. Yeah. Look,
the Nets have made it clear that they're not going
to trade Kevin Durant until they get a return that
they are happy with. So if they aren't getting that

(48:08):
from another team, then yeah, if it came down to that,
they're not going to just say, well, he wants out
of here. If we're not gonna hold them hostage, let's
just settle for this deal. They're gonna wait. And what
I think would happen is Kevin Durant would suit up
and play. I don't think that he would just hold
out and not play whatsoever. I think you would go
out there and play. But we'll cross that bridge if

(48:30):
we ever get to it. But I think, yeah, if
you're asking the question, that's the way it would play
out if we got there. The question has to be
asked to which team has the flexibility on their roster,
which team has the assets to get a Kevin Durant
and on more than that, I'm gonna go back and
look what happened when the New Orleans could stay with
New Orleans for a second, when they gave up Anthony
Davis to the Lakers because they got a massive hole

(48:52):
uh in New Orleans for Anthony Davis. And now that
looks pretty good because Anthony Davis doesn't play. The guy's
always injured. He doesn't play anymore. Well, Look, teams have assets, right,
they have current talent, they have draft picks, scalore. There
are a lot of teams where that is the case.
Look at what Minnesota gave up for Rudy Gobert, right,

(49:15):
four first round picks, five players. If they're doing that
for Rudy Gobert, best believe there are many teams around
the league that have enough to trade for Kevin Durant.
They could offer enough where the Nets would say, Okay,
it's a deal, but they just haven't done that yet.
So it's not a matter of not having the assets.
It's a matter of trying to get the best price

(49:37):
and not overspending for a guy that you want to
have a championship worthy team when it's all said and done.
So these teams are just weighing that right now. Yeah,
and we talked about the the so called Big three,
you know, and the Nets had that coming in with
Ben Simmons, Kyrie Irving and k D. Now I wonder
how much the Kyrie Irving situation leans on Kevin Durant,

(50:00):
whether in factosa Okay, I'll stay if Kyrie stays that
that could be a factor there too. I don't know
if they're teaming up on there, but I don't know
if you could depend on Kyrie Irving. I really don't.
I mean, this guy didn't play much last year, didn't
want to get the vaccination on the team guy the
New York City vaccination rule, he couldn't play and he
didn't want to get vaccinated. Really hurt I hurt the

(50:20):
Nets big time. Yeah, Well, hey, I understand what you're
thinking there, and we've heard a lot of rumors about
maybe Kyrie going to the Lakers. What if Russell Westbrook
reunited with Kevin Durant with the Nets. I would guess
that k D would be like, no, let's go with
option number three. Right It's Option one is run it

(50:41):
back with Kyrie and Brooklyn. Option two is stay in
Brooklyn and team up possibly with Russell Westbrook, your old
guy from the Thunder. Or option three is go elsewhere,
Like just turn the freaking page. And it seems like
option three is what he's goung ho about right here.
You know, it's funny because on his list of potential
teams is the Oklahoma City Thunder, and I think he's, uh,

(51:02):
he was there. I mean, he spent the first nine
years of his career in Oklahoma City. Six years since
he left, I can't believe he'd come back down. It
would be funny how in fact he'd be welcomed by
that Oklahoma City crowd. I don't know. I don't you
know what. It's funny going from a big city and
maybe it doesn't mean much. Maybe in my mind I'm
just talking out loud, going from a New York City,
Media Capital to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It's it's easier going

(51:26):
from Oklahoma City to New York rather than vice versa.
I think, Well, you know what's crazy to me, Andy,
is if you go back to that final season of
k D in Oklahoma City, they had a three one
series lead on the Golden State Warriors, a seventy three
win team. Just think for a second, if they win
one more game in that series and the ripple effect

(51:49):
from that point on, maybe Oklahoma State Oklahoma City goes
on to win a championship against Cleveland, and maybe Kevin
Durant doesn't leave at all, but maybe k D and
West Brookers still teammates. Who knows how it plays out,
but that just blows my mind. History is completely re rewritten.
If they win one more game, Clay goes off for

(52:11):
eleven three pointers in Game six and right, but isn't
that wild to you? Where you don't have k D
with the Warriors. We know that much, right, And he
probably runs it back if they win a championship. Why
wouldn't he run it back? And who knows what the
scenario is right here right now? If they win one
more game, that's wild to me. You know. I I
look at k D and certainly the legacy of athletes

(52:34):
yesteryear and today is championships, no doubt about that, maybe
more so now than before. But I look at k
D and what what goes through my mind? He's like
a modern day Will Chamberlain. Tremendous play. He's the best
player in the NBA right now as we speak. And
Chamberlain was so dominant as well, but he never really
won much. Really he won the Lakers. He went in
Philadelphia with the seventies sixers, but he put on tremendous

(52:56):
numbers and he kept on bouncing around from team to
team and he won a couple of hampionships and now
was it. But still in all Will Chamberlain, to me,
in my mind, was the most dominant player maybe ever
in the National Basketball Association. Yeah. I initially bristled because
I was just thinking style of play, but that's not
your comparison. You're comparing the outside like no, no, I know, yeah, absolutely,

(53:20):
So that was my first I'm just telling my first
gut reaction was like oh, and I was ready to
fight you on it. But I understand the comparison now, right,
Like so yeah, yeah, I get it where he was well,
Chamberlain was dominant, beyond dominant. Um, but yeah, two time
NBA champ and uh, that's the same thing as Kevin Durant.

(53:41):
He's a two time NBA champ, right and still in
all I mean you you won't remember him for much
unless he wins a couple of more. I mean Lebron
James to me, just he has more of that. I
don't know what it is, and he hasn't the championship.
He probably should have won more. But when you talk
about great players, they still take Lebron over Kevin. I

(54:02):
Right now, as of today, Kevin Durance the best player
in the NBA. Yeah, I mean he's up there. Um,
the last series against the Celtics, they bottled him up
man first three games in that series. They gave him
the defensive business over there. But um, Look, you ever
see like someone's status on social media and it says

(54:25):
it's complicated. That's kind of how Kevin Durant's legacy is
right now. It's just complicated. Where he is. He is
an outstanding player. He's one of the all time greats.
There's no denying his talent and what he's accomplished. Individually,
but team wise, like going from the Thunder and then
joining the Warriors and winning championships there and now Brooklyn

(54:47):
and just completely fizzles. It's a complicated legacy at this point.
And these last couple of chapters, they are perception changers, Andy,
because if he goes else where and thrives and wins
big and that's gonna have a ripple effect and how
you view the rest of his resume. But if he

(55:08):
goes somewhere and doesn't do much of anything team wise,
doesn't win big, right, it's gonna remain complicated how you
view his overall legacy. Right. And the funny thing is
that he needs to go to a team and carry
the team you talk about as we started the show
today with difference makers and in quarterbacks to the national
football like like a Brady he needs to be a
difference maker. Now. He went to Golden State, Yeah he won,

(55:29):
but people say, oh yeah, he was on a great
team and he just wanted to hook on and get
a ring he needs. And that's that's why I think
he went to Brooklyn. He thought he could be the
difference maker and bring a championship to Brooklyn. He needs
to go to a team will stay in Brooklyn, do something.
But he needs to be the man and get the
championship on his back, not on someone else's back. Right Well,
hey man, we'll see how it shakes out with see

(55:50):
where he goes. And I find that to be interesting.
If he went to the Pelicans and they want a championship,
that's freaking huge, right. So if he goes to another
team that has one of recently and it doesn't land
the same way, there are so many different possibilities with
the way this thing is gonna shake out for k
If he goes to Phoenix in Miami and they wins,

(56:12):
like who home, big deal? Right Well, I mean it
wouldn't be whole hum with I think with Phoenix certainly,
it's not like they have this rich, you know, championship
tradition over there Miami. I mean it would be a
little bit different because we saw Lebron do that. So
if you went to the Pelicans or Phoenix, like it
would stand out more, it would mean more. So I
find that interesting to a lot of ways this could

(56:34):
play out. Andy, And I can't wait. I can't wait.
There's big news. It really is. He's Brian. No, I'm
Andy Ferman, get him on Twitter at the No Show
and E Show at Andy Furman fs R or better yet,
we'd love to hear from you. At age seven seven
ninety nine Fox eight seven seven sixty three sixty nine
Bott and Barrel betting in this Hour Knows Picks as
Brian knows pis an hour number three. But now we're

(56:56):
waiting for this player to move. But where that next?
The dominoes haven't completely fallen yet. That's right around the corner.
It's about twenty three minutes past hour. This is Fox
Sports Sunday. He's probably no. I'm Andy Ferman. And before
before we even take another step, Bee, we got a
call up from the Great State of Mississippi. Andre wants

(57:20):
to talk to Brian Know and Andy Furman on Fox
Sports Sunday. Hello, Andre, what's going on? Guys? You tell us? Andre? Hey,
all of it? Talk about car of the Rank, Carrie her.
You know what's gonna happen. They're gonna be forced to
play with each other. They running back, they end up

(57:40):
in the eight final. I can see it now because
they walk too much fall, so nobody's going going to
trade fall. I think here from now, I think that
crystal Ball. Andre is a little murky right now. I
don't see that. I don't think they're gonna be teammates.
And if they are, I don't see a championship either.
I don't think that's gonna happen. Man. Yeah, but I

(58:00):
tell you what, I think that k D may remain
in Brooklyn and maybe he doesn't want to play with
Kyrie Irving. So maybe if Russell Westbrook comes to Brooklyn,
who knows, I don't know. It makes a decent point
in the sense that a lot of teams may not
want to give up so many so much to to
get Kevin Durant. That's the question right there. Well, listen,

(58:22):
Brooklyn has made it clear they want to move on.
They didn't. They could have signed Kyrie to a long
term extension, they didn't. So they're not running it back.
They're not keeping the band together. Like, I think it's
much more likely that both are gone than both are
back and they win a championship. I don't see that
happening at all. Yeah. I think that k D maybe

(58:45):
back because of like just too much, just just asking
for too much. We'll see. I think Brooklyn really wants
to after what they allegedly made that offer to Minnesota.
That was a huge chunk. I don't think people gonna
do that. That's a lot, it really is. Well, we'll see. Anyway,
back to ball, which is you have basic loving your
loving ball. And we talked about Bacon Mayfield the Browns.

(59:06):
They parted ways the other day going to Carolina. Almost
every quarterback Domino has fallen in the National Football League,
almost almost. We talked about you mentioned little earlier today.
Jimmy Garoppolo remains on the forty nine. Is Trey Lance
is getting all the QB one reps? So where does
Jimmy G wind up or does he? And I see
one of the key Landy spots again you mentioned this

(59:28):
early on. He could very well wind up in Cleveland. Yeah,
it's possible. It just depends on how long is the
suspension for Deshaun Watson. So yeah, I would think if
the Browns can make it happen dollars and cents wise,
why punts on two with Jacoby Brissette when you could

(59:48):
get Jimmy G. And I'm not saying Jimmy G is
a world beater, I'm just saying he's better than Jacoby Brissette.
So I would make that happen, and that would be
a decent spot for Jimmy where you've got a good
support and cast, You've got one year if Deshaun was
suspended all season long to rebuild your value and go
elsewhere the next year, it would be a good bridge

(01:00:09):
year for both for both Jimmy G and the Cleveland
brown So we'll cross that bridge if we get to it.
It changes the math. If DeShawn is suspended for let's
say eight games, well that's different for Jimmy G. So
see how this plays out. But the Niners, they don't
want to just give him away. They don't want to
release him outright. Look at the Browns. They got a

(01:00:29):
fifth round pick could turn into a fourth and they
got Carolina to eat about five million dollars of what
the Browns owed him. That's better than nothing, right, Another
team taking five mill off of your hands and giving
you a fourth or a fifth round pick, that's better
than nothing. So that's what the Niners are trying to
do with Jimmy G. Over here, I'm gonna throw a
couple of teams out there, and I want to set

(01:00:51):
them with you. On one of the teams, I think
could very well be the New England Patriots. I understand
Mac Jones was there last year, but look, this is
gonna be a year for Bill Belichick without his offensive
cord and Josh McDaniels. And obviously that Jimmy G knows
the situation in New England. And I think that's a possibility.
He did back up Tom Brady from seventeen. He knows

(01:01:12):
the pack, the Patriot way, so to speak. I think
it's a very good possibility he could wind up in
New England. Yeah, so out of one to ten, you
get that. To think about that, it's why wouldn't you
want him with the Niners? Because you don't want Trey
Lance looking over his shoulder, right, Mac Jones is a

(01:01:34):
little more established than Trey Lance is. Mac Jones played
all last season, played pretty well. He was the best
rookie quarterback, But like why, why why do you want
Jimmy G there? And it's gonna start all of this
if Mac Jones thinks it up one week, Hey, Jimmy G,
think about starting Jimmy G. What about Jimmy G? Like
why why would you sign up for that? Okay, so
out of one out of ten, we'll give that a three.

(01:01:56):
All right, the Sea Hawks. I don't think the foreigner
is going to trade him to arrival. They won't. Yeah,
and that's you know, I don't want to wreck your
rhythm here, Andy, but real fast, it's it's interesting with
Jimmy G. Where he's not good enough for you to
commit to him long term, but he is good enough
where you don't want to face him twice a year. Right,

(01:02:17):
So that's one of the other reasons the Niners aren't
just releasing him. He probably would end up in Seattle, Okay,
Davis Mills and the Texans or Jimmy G. I think
the Texas are a possibility out of ten, I give
that maybe a six or seven. Yeah, I don't love it.
Like again, it's why, what does Jimmy G do for you?
If you're the Texans, you're a rebuilding franchise. It's like

(01:02:40):
to see if Davis Mills can play. If he can, great,
that might change your thinking. If not, you bought them
out and you get a top quarterback next year in
the draft. Jimmy G is not your future. So no,
I hate that move. All right. What about And I
mentioned this early on about the lack of offensive strength
of the Chicago Bear. This is a big year for

(01:03:01):
Justin Fields. I mean, obviously a first rounder one. He
doesn't get it done this year, and it could not
be his fault because maybe there's no offensive threats on
that ball club. They may be looking at the quarterback again,
the Chicago Bears. They could, they could. He'd have to
think it up royally, but I can't tell you they
wouldn't be tempted. Let's say the Bears have one of

(01:03:22):
the top draft picks and they're looking at well C. J.
Stroud is right there and Bryce Young is right there,
and I would guess they would run it back with
Justin Fields and just try to build around the guy.
But you never know. If he looks horrible, it's possible. Yeah,
and it could be a situation like what happened with
the Jets because he has nothing around him. He really

(01:03:45):
has nothing offensively around them. But again, the quarterback will
be the guy the zero in on, and it will
be his fault, no doubt about that. But Jimmy Gee's days,
I'd have to admit, and I think you'll agree his
days in But Trey Lance is the guy. He's gonna
be playing this year. He's the starting it's not a
competition in San Francisco. His Trey Lancer's job. Well, his
days are up in San Francisco. I don't think they're

(01:04:07):
numbered like he's out of it. It's just a matter
of what the Niners can get at this point. Yeah,
And if they release him outright, that to me would
be more of a situation with Belichick would go for
him because the money factor will be not much at all.
And I think that there's a possibility simply because of
he knows the system. Maybe I'm way off based on that,
but I think it's a possibility. I I don't as

(01:04:28):
much as you do, because you're committing to Mac Jones.
He's your guy, he's your present, he's your future, and
you know, I don't see Jimmy G going back there.
Also think they drafted a guy in the fourth round,
Bradley Zappy out of Western Kentucky. So I'm not saying
he's gonna be a world beater. I'm just telling you
they have actually, you know, used an asset to get

(01:04:51):
a backup quarterback, so to get Jimmy G, who costs
way more. I don't think so, right, but we do
know one thing. Will we agree on this that Jimmy
G will not be wearing a forty on his uniform
when the season. Stars know that about that. The only
way you would, the only way, super fast. The only
way he would is if they haven't worked out a
trade and we get the training camp and knock on
wood has never happened. But if Trey Lance suffered an injury,

(01:05:14):
Jimmy G was still on the roster and Trey Lance
went down, then I think that's the only way Jimmy
G is on the rock. Now he's Brian Olamandy Firm.
We are Spots Sports Sunday, Fox Sports Sunday on Fox
Sports Radio. The sport maybe fake. I'll say it again,
this is Fox Sports Radio, Fox Sports Sunday saying three
times fast. I'll give you a nickel, I really will.

(01:05:35):
The sport maybe fake, but this certainly wasn't. We'll tell
you all about the next, but first to a very
real person, real person probably friendly with the latest. Well, Andy,
thank you in your theory of Jimmy G going to
the Patriots is as likely as your brilliant idea of
Julian Edelman being the next quarterback of the Patriots. Once
Tom Brady left, So I just throw out things. You know,

(01:05:55):
I'm like the I'm like the cloud. I'm like the
cloud of sports talk. You know on your phone you
have at on the cloud here? That take is your
shadow right there, Edelman behind center. That can't shake. How
do I get rid of it? Really? You can't. You
have made this bet. You gotta lie in it. And
it's like a permanent case of acne. That's what it is.
It's perpetual body odor that you can't get rid of?

(01:06:18):
Are you saying that I have? That I do? And
I know for experience that you do. First, you're getting
too close really well, you know, So what is going
to happen coming up here? Guys? In about a year
and not a year an hour and a half, it's
gonna be the Wimbledon Gentleman's Final. It's Nick Kurios and
Novak Djokovic. And read into this what you will, guys,

(01:06:41):
But if you look at the head to head matchup
between these two curios has won both encounters. They both
came in seventeen. One of them was at Indian Wells,
and it's of course for Djokovic is twenty two chance
at winning a Wimbledon crown, or shall I say this
would be if he wins at his twenty Grand Slam

(01:07:05):
title and seventh Wimbledon crown. Let me get my words
right there. As far as Major League Baseball, the Dodgers
plug the Cubs for to two. The Giants sucker punch
the Padres three to one. The Red Sox neutralize the
Yankees six to five, and tend innings. The Braves get
a home run from Austin Riley in a four to
three beat down to the Nationals. The Mets upstage the

(01:07:26):
Marlins five to flow for Pete Alonso hits a home
run is twenty three of the season. The Athletics closed
out the Astros three to two despite Oakland conjuring up
just four hits. Genesis scottis Chopins Ander Shotley is your
leader through fifty four holes. He's gonna tee off here
in a couple of hours, and he leads the field

(01:07:48):
overnight by two shots minus seven for the tournament. That
is his score through fifty four holes. And finally, Trailblazer's
first round draft pick Shade and Sharp. As we get
into some yeah, end me a summer league news. He's
gonna miss the rest of summer league and be reevaluated
according to his team in about two weeks after he

(01:08:09):
incurred a small laborl tear in his shoulder Thursday night.
So they're going to sort of wait things out and
see how he does and then hopefully bring him back
in a few weeks. With that, let's get it back
to a man and and Brian No and his dad
team partner Andy Ferman, who it shouldn't be long until
Louisville as an NBA team. He says, this move wasn't

(01:08:32):
so hush. That's right around the corner he is, Brian No.
I'm Andy from when we across the fifty oddline that
we call Fox Sports Sunday and you know, be listening
to Mr Finley talk about his Wimbledon. You know kind
of hit me for a second that to me would
be on my bucket list. I would, and I watched
a little bit of it yesterday. I would love to
people you talk to people up sports bucket list, you

(01:08:52):
know what they always say, super Bowl. I don't even
think the World Series is on there anymore. NBA Finals,
maybe u NT double A Final four or Kentucky Derby.
I don't hear a lot of Wimbledon on the bucket list,
but to me, it's right up there. I think I
might be number one for me, I really would love
to go number one. Really. Okay, well, hey man, there's
it's your personal preference, but I can see why it

(01:09:13):
would be on your list. Interesting would be number one? Though?
Have you ever been to a Super Bowl? Yes? The two?
Which ones have you gone to? I went to the
one in Indianapolis and went to one in New Orleans.
So but which one's were they? What numbers? Day were?
I forgot it was playing? I really I don't know
what day it is. I really don't it. Uh, because

(01:09:33):
one in Indie it was the Patriots and the Giants.
That was the second one the Giant. It wasn't that one. Really,
It's again it's that sid, isn't it. I know it's pathetic.
Next week we could ask me what my name is.
I'll forget that too, But you know, the big I
need to uncover, which it will come back to me.
I did gotta. I went to Indie and then I

(01:09:55):
went to to New Orleans. Uh, in that order, back
to back, But I don't remember the New Orleans one?
Was that power failure in the in the in the
second half. Oh okay, Well, yeah that was the the Niners.
They lost to the Ravens. Yes, yes, were you in there?
You were at that game where the power went out

(01:10:15):
and I went out. Yes, I think I was in
the men's room when it went out to be okay,
so we figured one out. It was the uh the
Ravens beating the Niners. Yeah, and I'll keep digging for
the But you're a bucket list. Would would Wimbledon be
on that pretty high up? No? I mean I would go,
don't get me wrong, but it's not on like one.

(01:10:38):
It'd be a super Bowl. I've never been to a
super Bowl, believe it or not. The game itself is
great because the electricity and the fans, but I think
everything surrounding the Super Bowl it was what makes the
event that good. You know. Uh, it's kind of like
an NBA Goal Star game. The game itself, there's no
defense being played. It's kind of fun whatever it might be.

(01:11:00):
But I think what happens around the game is pretty good.
That the the events are surrounding it. And I've been
to an NBA All Star Game way back when Boemy,
way back when in Philadelphia and it was a long
time ago and it was great. I love that, I
really did. But other than that, I I don't know
what other events I'd like to go as far as
the bucket list. Been to the Kentucky Derby, been to

(01:11:21):
the Preakness, Never been to the Belmont. I just don't know.
I mean in the five hundred? Have you been there?
How about just yeah? I have a few times. Um am,
I go to the Brickyard again this year. We'll see,
but um have you? I'm just thinking of historic venues
like Cameron Indoor. Have you ever gone there? Never could

(01:11:41):
be on your list. I'd like to go there. I've
been to the Pialester in Philadelphia. You know that was
a good I would imagine You've been to rop Oh? Yeah,
about Kansas, Yes, I have been, Yes, I've been. I've
been there. I've been to Allen Field House, Yes, been there. Uh,
trying to think where else would have been a noted stadium? No,

(01:12:02):
that's gotta be on your list. Now we've been to Lambeau. No,
the listeners growing. You've been to Lambeau. Yeah, we went
there for a game. My birthday is November four, so
we went to a game, so a handful of years ago.
But um, there was the game that Aaron Rodgers broke
his collar bone and so Jay Cutler. I'm a little fuzzy,

(01:12:26):
but I think Jay Cutler was already out, so Josh
McCown was in, and so Aaron Rodgers got hurt. It
turned into Josh McCown against Seneca Wallace. What's the came
we were at? But it's really cool, man. You can
tour the stadium. They've got this a trium that is
very modern, really cool. But then you can go down

(01:12:47):
and and see where everybody does the Lambeau leave Like
that's a high wall. When you're up there, it's like,
oh gosh, right, but our benches chair backs right right.
I don't know if that's the case with everything, but yeah,
it's mostly benches wherever you go. That's why when you
watch on TV, everybody brings their own like sheet back deal. Yeah,

(01:13:07):
it's a lot like Notre Dame Stadium. I don't know
with the addition if there are any seats are, but
it's all benches. I just had a flashback because my
mom and I we went to ah it was a
Notre Dame Penn State game. Back in the day and
the it was around nine, and it was a famous
game Notre Dame one is snowing like crazy. They won,
like seventeen to sixteen. But Jerome Bettis kind of touchdown

(01:13:30):
Reggie Brooks with the two point conversion at the very end.
Shout out Rick Meyer, the quarterback at the time. But
I'll never forget. The reason I bring this up is
the cold day. It was snowing like crazy, and you're
just you're like sardines in that thing. It's all benches, right,
and there was a couple in front of us and
my mom, my mom was just saying out loud like, man,
it's a cold day, man, sure it's cold out here.

(01:13:52):
I think she talked the people in front of us
into leaving and then you could like put your feet
on the benches in front of you. So I always
remember that that was a fun time. Sounds great, all right,
He's probably no. I'm Andy firming. This is Fox Sports
Sunday on Fox Spots Rady. Now it's like a tour
of the unknown. We call it bottom barrel betting. And

(01:14:12):
you know what it's next. Fox Sports Radio has the

Fox Sports Sunday. He's Brian no I'm Andy firm out
told me it's not before the top of the hour,

(01:14:34):
but right now, let's cut to the Bronx. We're not
going to Bronx, gonna barrel betting. I go, wow, you know,
I'll tell you what you asked me about. Who was
a super Bowl? Looked, there's only one game ever in Indianapolis,

(01:14:57):
And I told you who it was. And You're like, no,
I don't think that is it. I don't even know
what what we're doing in the next seven I'm going
to the Bronx, but playing bond a barrel betting. My
mind is famished, famished. Okay, right now we've got a
new host. We'll get his name right Tab, Big tab b.
How you doing Tab? Good morning. I'm doing good. I'm
awake a lot better than me alright last week, Brian

(01:15:20):
no One. So we're gonna start with you. Ka, Brian,
what was my record? How well did I do? Born one?
Not that bad, not that good, not that good one
and four. Believe you know, before we proceed here, Brian,
is it is it bad luck? Is it stupidity? Or
I'm just not good at this game? Please tell us
more of than if we had like a hundred games,

(01:15:42):
you probably have won a I don't know how much.
I don't know. I'm gonna say it's a combination and
leave it at that. I don't know what the percentages are, Andy,
but I'm thinking it's a cocktail. As to why that's
the case, I don't know. I'm like the Cincinnati Reds
of b b B. Yeah, that's right, trying to change
the game. You want more Bronx talk over here, you know, right,

(01:16:05):
all right, We're starting with movies on the silver screen,
right now, ready, Well, Marvel's new movie Thoor, Love and
Thunder surpassed last week's box office buster Minions rise of
Group at one hundred and sixty four million dollars. Wow,
look at that. We're going off the grid over here already.
Every day. I'm gonna say yes, because they are promoting

(01:16:28):
the holy hell out of this and the franchise does
very well. I'm gonna say it's it does better at
the box office. Yes, you know, he is the deal.
I got a problem. I Initially, if I was going first,
i'd say yes. If I say yes, now they think
I want to jump on Brian's back. I'm gonna flip
a coin in my own self, right, I'm gonna flip
it and I'm gonna see what it says. Okay, I'm

(01:16:48):
gonna go for the heads. I got tails. I lost
that too. Uh. I am gonna say yes because I
do agree. It's all I hear. Is it's floor thing.
I'm gonna say yes, I have to, but I'm not
doing it because you did follow my lead. Andy, follow
my lead? All right? My girlfriend and I are going
to Medieval Times this Tuesday. It's a family dinner theater

(01:17:11):
featuring stage medieval style games, including sword fighting and jousting.
My question is this, who will win in the jousting?
About the Red Knight or the Blue Knight? Oh, the
blue Knife for sure, because the Red Knight, if he
the Red Knight, has to lose because it looks like
it's blood. You know what I'm saying. It gets stabbed
at the joust thing. You know, I went to one

(01:17:32):
of those things in the in Ohio several years ago,
and that sort of jousting. It's amazing. But the guy
broke his arm during the jousting event. It was amazing. Really,
it's really good. It's pretty good stuff, it really is.
I have an issue with you, tab because I I
watched tape throughout the week. I'm preparing for cricket, um, sumo, wrestling,

(01:17:54):
whatever you might throw out at us, and you're throwing
out some geeky jousting things all over here. What are
you doing? It's pretty tough. It's tough. You gotta be
a man to joust exactly. How do I have any
intel on this? It's a total coin flip, bad job
by you. As Ben Maller would say, I'm gonna go
with the club, go with the cliffe, alright, follow my lead, baby.

(01:18:15):
How many times were all well, our good friend calling cowhard,
bringing up the bringing up the newest Panthers? QB. Baker
Mayfield this week on his daily syndicated show The Herd
Over or Under sixteen and a half you can listen
to every single day and count Yeah, yeah, we get
the rundowns. Dude, you're killing us today. I'll take the under.

(01:18:37):
I'll take the over, alright, I'll take the over. Because
if he does three a day, three a day for
a week is fifteen, so I'll go over sixt Okay,
the third greatest show on grass is going down today.
Novak Yokovich is playing Nick Curios no vacs odds to
win our minus one, our minus four forty five. Who
do you have, the aging Master or the reckless rebel?

(01:19:00):
The big End? Novak Novak, Yeah, it's the Joker. Jokers
big End smack him around pretty well today. So yeah,
like Curios is a talent, his first ever championship and
a major and a Grand Slam event, he's already in
his own head. I think he's today he's gonna chokes
the Joker right on. Two of the hottest teams in

(01:19:21):
Triple A baseball are having a shootout today. The Omaha
Storm Chasers, which is the Kansas City Royals affiliate, are
taking on the Rochester Red Wings, which are the Nationals affiliate.
Will the attendants be over under fift hundred people? The
game is in Rochester, No, in Omaha, Nebraska, And I'm up, no, no,

(01:19:43):
you go? Okay? Yeah? Um wow. They must not be
drawing too great. They're not not that high of a number, man,
But uh you know what, I'm gonna cross my fingers
and root for the over. Let's root for some attendance today,
is what I say. I gotta ask a question. Is
there a promotion to It's like a free hot dog
day of no no beer, no no nothing, nothing crazy.

(01:20:04):
I still go over Sunday is kind of like a
family day. I think I'll go over awesome, hoping. Yeah.
Is that it? That's it? WHOA? I tell you what?
Though you went through the gamut of come of events,
tell you really did, But how will this guy be remembered?
We're gonna tell you that in so much more weird
right here on Fox Sports Radio. Next franchise or not?

(01:20:29):
He won? Sort of? Well that's coming right up. Welcome everybody,
Welcome America. This is Fox Sports Sunday on Fox Sports
Radio on Andy Furman joined, joined at the hip by
my guy, my partner, my friend, the brains of the outfit,
the one and only Brian Know, the hardest working man
in radio today and show business. Hello b our three,
we're rocking. What's up? Andy Furman? Howard? Thanks buddy, everything good,

(01:20:53):
everything's won, the fun digging and you went to two
Super Bowls before we figured out that the one in
New Orleans. That was when the Ravens beat the forty
niners the power went out. UM, very memorable game. Also,
he said, you went to a super Bowl in Indianapolis, right,
I think that was your prior to New Orleans. Okay

(01:21:17):
it was, yeah, I think you're right, right, So the
one in Indianapolis, because I was like, was it when
the Giants beat the Patriots the second time? And You're like, no,
no, no no, I don't remember. So I looked there was
only one super Bowl ever in Indianapolis, so it was
that one? Yeah? How come? I remember? I had a

(01:21:38):
corn beef sandwich at Shapiro's in Indianapolis, But I couldn't
remember the teams that were playing there. I'm whooped. I really,
I don't get it. I don't understand how I'm not.
It just it just passes through. That was just famous. Uh,
Eli Manning to Manningham on the sideline, that beautiful throw.
I don't know if that rings a bell at all
or not, but uh, with you being there like watching

(01:22:00):
it in attendance, I can't even remember bottom barrel Benning
compared to bron Stalk Radio, How am I gonna remember again?
Twenty five years ago, ten years ago, when come on, really,
are you kidding? But you know it's Super Bowl though, Andy,
I get you know what's funny. I don't know if
you have this, it's not a problem, but it's this
amazing situation. I can remember like my first and second

(01:22:21):
grade teachers, but I can't remember the Super Bowl I
went to. Is that the thing that you have to do?
You remember be like your school back in elementary school,
to teaches you had, first, second, third, fourth grade. I
remember their names like it was yesterday, but I can't
remember who participated in the Super Bowl. What does that mean?
I don't know. I think, look, man, it happens. My
memory is either locked in I can remember details, and

(01:22:45):
other times I'm just like bad doesn't ring a bell
at all. I don't remember going there, nothing so and
I have that sometimes where I'm watching a movie. It
might be a while since I've seen the movie, but
I've seen the whole thing, and I'm watching the movie
and it's like I'm watching it for the first time,
like right, and they said, why this looks familiar? Did
I see this? Yeah? So it's weird. It happens. I

(01:23:07):
think most people I do that. When I drive home,
I look up by my house. Hey, this looks familiar.
Do do I live here? I don't know. It's crazy.
It's one of those things. I probably need to see
a shrink. I do. But I will tell you this much.
We would not be complete doing this show without touching
not not a big segment, but maybe touching on Vince McMahon,
because this, to me is is the most ridiculous thing

(01:23:29):
I have. It's terrible. Really, world wrestling entertainment, Uh, hancho
head hancho. Vince McMahon allegedly paid twelve million dollars to
four million to four women. Okay, for pleasures. We could
just leave it at that. Now, Why I bring this
up because not that we ever talked about wrestling, but
the situation with Deshaun Watson. I think the McMahon situation

(01:23:52):
is worse than Deshaun Watson. I really do. Well, Look,
we've we've got more details because at first it was
painted that he just had an affair and this was
consensual and he just spent I think the first report
was that he spent around three million dollars of like, hey, hey,
you know, let's keep it on the down low. Here

(01:24:13):
and she's like, well it's gonna cost you. Well, that's
different than some of these other details that have emerged
where he's pressuring women to do things and allegedly one
of the women did and then wouldn't continue it, and
she's demoted and she's mistreated from that point on, and
so now it becomes much different than just a consensual affair.

(01:24:37):
So the more details that have emerged, it seems like
it could be possibly more than just a consensual thing
that was he was trying to keep under wraps. Now
I don't know how old the alleged women are, and
there's several obviously we know that this this lunatic is
seventies six years of age. He's in the Robert Craft situation.
Right at least Robert Kraft went there, dude what he

(01:24:58):
had to do, paid and left and nounce the end
of the was it right? Was a good I'm not
here to judge. I'm not one of those people that judge.
Do what you want to do. I mean, you know,
don't bother me. You're on your own, but you know,
just be careful what you do because they may come
back and bike you in the rear end, which it
did to Vince McMahon. But what normal woman, I guess
they would, you know, even if you're in the thirties, twenties, thirties,

(01:25:19):
every maybe would do this with a seventies six year
old man. But I guess money talks for three four
million dollars, I guess you do it right. Well, hey man, look,
there have been there have been many relationships where there's
a huge age gap. I understand what you're saying, but look, um,
Vince McMahon, is it possible, like without anything crazy, without

(01:25:41):
paying for it, without anything weird going on? Is it
possible that Vince McMahon could be attractive to a thirty
year old woman? Absolutely? Well, I think his check books
attractive to Well, that's the other part of it, too, Like,
but he's a famous dude, he's worth a lot of cash. Like,
he looks good. He's seventy six years old, Like it
looks good for seventy six. So there are gonna be

(01:26:02):
thirty year olds that are interested in Vince mcmanson. Doesn't
automatically mean he was doing something shady just because he's
with a thirty year old. That has happened before. Um,
so I don't think that's weird. But look, as soon
as you're like, hey, you want to do and they're like, no,
not at all. And these are employees. That's the other
part of this. They're affiliated with w w E. So look, man,

(01:26:25):
if you're hounding a woman and then demoting her if
she's not doing what you want, there's a whole different
ball game then not even close to just I have
more respect not for the Shawn Watson than Vince I
really do, you know. But they're both wrong, both out
of bounds. But uh, that's for another day, for another show,
but not for us. Okay, let's move on to the

(01:26:46):
National Football League because I think one of the stories
right now is is Baker Mayfield. And I picked up
some of the copies of the Cleveland area ACUIN area
newspapers and now all of a sudden, it's like they're
rooting for Baker Mayfield. They're they're feeling sorry for the guy.
You know, he what did he do? I mean, come on,
four seasons in Cleveland, maybe he had like one and
a half good seasons, and you hit it on the head.

(01:27:07):
He's not a game change, he's not a franchise quarterback.
He's a stop gap kind of guy we'll see was
gonna do. And I threw out the term you know,
he's got a chip on his shoulder, and you kind
of smacked me around pretty good, and you're right. I mean,
you know, I don't care. You can have a chip
on your shoulder if you don't have the god given ability,
you don't have the talent on the people around you,
I don't care what kind of a chip you have. Really,
I'm not gonna help you. That's what it comes down to.

(01:27:28):
He's thrown the second most interceptions in the fourth quarter
since I think about that, that's a lot of picks.
And he's had a good supporting cast. That's the other
thing I think what's so weird Andy is I think
Baker Mayfield, the people that try to make him out
to be better than he actually is. They point to
Cleveland as one of the reasons where it's like he

(01:27:51):
was on the Browns, Like, look at the roster right now.
Forget about what Cleveland has done for years and years
and years. Look at the roster right now. A good
comparison would be your Bengals, right The Bengals stunk for
three decades, no playoff wins, and they had some decent years.
They weren't always awful, but no playoff wins for three decades.

(01:28:13):
Look at the roster right now. It's legit. They were
on the doorstep of winning a Super Bowl. So just
because you've stunk in the past doesn't mean that's the case.
Right here, right now. That's been a very good roster
in Cleveland for a handful of years now. So don't
bail Baker out and be like, oh, the Browns. You
could play that card with Sam Donald better. He didn't

(01:28:34):
have half the supporting cast with the Jets that Baker
did with the Browns. So don't point to the Browns
as if that's why he's been below average. He's been
below average because he's a bullow average average. That's why,
you know, he came into the NFL Aletta hype. He
just didn't make it. Hey, Vinnie test have already had
the same situation comeing out of college. Heisman winner, a
lot of hype. What did he do? Nothing? He really didn't, however,

(01:28:58):
you know, and you kind of put me back on
my place again when I said that. You know, he
could stuff for teams like Seattle, Houston, maybe the Jets,
you know, maybe the Bears. But so why what does
that mean? Does it mean he's better? I mean, would
he take these teams to the next level? Probably not,
But I was very interested with this. He has a podcast,
the you Never Know you know what I mean podcast,
and he says, quote, it's a huge battle within the

(01:29:20):
locker room in my position being a quarterback. This is
what he said in the in the podcast quote. Some
of these guys don't play the game because they love it.
They're playing to get every tirement fund. They're making tons
of million does dollars and they don't care about winning.
How to get this? How can I get the best
out of people that are making an s ton of money.
I could always motivate people we were making money. That

(01:29:42):
was easy. I can get in their face. I can
do all that. You're trying to get to that level.
I'm not so certain it's his job to motivate people.
Just play the game and get the job done. There's
Tom Brady really motivate people. He just was a great player,
and he got it got the best out of these players,
not by getting in their face. Well, I don't know
all that stuff is. It's just interesting to me that

(01:30:04):
Baker Mayfield. He's a guy that moves the meter right. Like.
He's not that talented. He hasn't been that good in
the NFL. He's been below average certainly, but he is
a story and a lot of it has to do
with his personality and he's been very in your face
and whatever. He gets attention. He has always been an

(01:30:24):
attention getter and I find that to be really interesting
because the amount of talk, the amount of conversations that
Baker has generated. I don't think there's a player that's
like at his production level, at his skill level, that
has generated more conversation than Baker Mayfield. Like, think about that.
The amount of attention the guy gets, you would think

(01:30:46):
he's a top five QB. Just think the top five
at all. But you understand what I'm saying. Who's another player,
regardless of the sport, that's at the same level production
wise that gets as much at tension is Baker Mayfield?
Who is it? Right? Not not even attention within football,
I mean doing national commercials as well. I won't mention

(01:31:08):
the insurance company, but he does a ton of those
commercials as well. He's pretty good. They don't sponsor our
show watch we give him some book. All right, there's
no jack coming our way, you know with the heck no,
look gets a free ride in life. You know that
they're not getting a free ride. But he's pretty talented
on those commercials. I enjoyed he Actually, he probably does
a better job doing those commercials than playing in the

(01:31:30):
National Football League. Of course he does, that's obvious. He's
good in those commercials. He really is mystery commercials, right,
Let people google it. You could google not like, we
don't have to keep it in the dark. I just
think it's look, the guy gets attention, and um, look,

(01:31:55):
I think that, uh, you'll sometimes see this in sports,
but not to this degree. I think about who we
spend a lot of time talking about we're talking about today.
Look at what those guys have done production wise in
their sport, Like it's not even close to what Baker
Mayfield has done in the NFL, and yet Baker gets

(01:32:17):
talked about like crazy. It's just interesting to me. That's
the way, you know, It's it's a great point you
just brought up, because I'm trying to think of anybody
in the sport of baseball. Who do we talk about
in baseball? Think about? That is the one guy that
gets talked about in baseball. We don't talk a whole
lot of baseball, but if we do, we're talking like
show hey, O tany brought him up the other night

(01:32:37):
or earon judgment, it's a star. We we don't talk
about who who is the equivalent baseball player production wise
of Baker Mayfield. There's no way we would spend a
minute talking about exactly you're you're exactly right. It's either
basketball of football, and he's the king because that's what
we talked about and he's kind of the middle of

(01:32:59):
the pack kind of guy. As a matter of fact,
there's a report from ESPN Chris Mortenson said that the
Browns quote what they consider an adult, they want to
what they consider an adult at quarterback. That's what he said,
and then they uh the ownership. I guess, so the
Browns backed off on that and said that no, no,
we never said that, but they said they want more
of an adult playing the quotterback position. And I could

(01:33:20):
see that because you know, it's not like he has
a temper. He has that the immaturity factor. I guess
when he put that flag at midfield that time. Remember
it's just one of those things that, Uh, and I
think you can get away with that if you have
the results. But more often than that, guys that have
the results that are franchise kind of guys that a
game changes, they don't do that, nor that they need

(01:33:41):
to do that. Well, look, I don't hate everything Baker
Mayfield does every now and then. The guy has a
point every now and then. I do like the in
your in your face stuff, but there's just way too
much of it. It's just you gotta grow up at
some point. You have to understand that a lot of
this stuff just doesn't matter. And so he said a
lot of upid things. He's done a lot of stupid

(01:34:01):
things immature. Remember him talking about Duke Johnson, the running
back at the time it was weighing in on his
contract situation, and well the old All Beckham junior situation
may have been one of the veals that put one
foot out the door for him. Well, yeah, absolutely, And look, man,
it's like, uh, it's like having this whole conversation about

(01:34:25):
a Nissan CenTra, you know what I mean. Like, it's
not Lamborghini, it's not a Porsche, it's not a high
end car. It's a Nissan CenTra. That's what Baker Mayfield
is in the NFL. He's not a difference maker. He's
below average. That's what the equivalent is. So we're not
gonna spend a ton of time talking about a Nissan center.
I don't know why we'd spend a whole lot of
time talking about Baker Mayfield, and we're not gonna do

(01:34:46):
it anymore. There you go. He's Brian no on Andy Ferman.
You get it, Brian on the Twitter account at the
No Show NI show at Andy Ferman. F s R
eight seven seven Fox is a phone number that translates
to eight seven seven nine six sixty nine. Brian No
knows picks at the end of this hour, but there
could be a rift ever before the start of the season. Really,

(01:35:10):
I mean it. That's coming right up next. Fox Sports

This is Fox Sports Sunday. He's Brian no On'm Andy Furman.

(01:35:32):
We're rolling along nose Picks coming at the end of
this hour and about twenty minutes or so for now,
and uh B, I I got something I want to
share with you. I think it's a little a little
political involving sports. And I just noticed this on Twitter.
Courtesy of James T. Sparks Jr. Uh This was on
Fox News on the Fox News Channel. This is coming

(01:35:53):
from I missed my wife, I missed my family, I
missed my teammates. It kills me to know they are
suffering so much right now. I'm grateful for whatever you
can do at the moment to get me home. Brittany
Grinner says, this writes this. Fox News Channel rights it
in prints it okay, Danny, Danny Delaney response, I gotta
read this response. It's it's it's unbelievable, really, he says.

(01:36:14):
So let me get this straight. So this is for Brittany.
You refused to be on the basketball court throughing the
national anthem. Then you go even further and say it
shouldn't be played before any games during the season. Then
you stupidly try to carry illegal drugs into a foreign country.
Then you get caught and locked up. Then you want
the country that you apparently have absolutely no respect for

(01:36:35):
to come to your rescue. Well, I hope you enjoy
your time in a Siberian World camp. L O L wow, whoa.
This is what some of the people the response I'm
seeing and reading with Brittany Grinding right now, and it's
a shame what you've done. And basically, you know you
should know a little better not to carry those vapor
deals into the airport. I mean, you know you got arrested,

(01:36:58):
but look that's for another day perhaps, but I'd just
like to hear your comments on this. Well, look, it's uh,
I hate that she's being detained the way she is.
It's been over four months. That's crazy. And look, look
we're getting so far away from nuance. It's the day
and age of black and white. It's either you're completely

(01:37:18):
one on one side or completely one on the other side,
and that's just not the reality here. There are shades
of gray, there's nuance involved here. And while I hate
that Britney Grinder has been detained the way that she has,
it's beyond obnoxious. This is a different country man, and
they roll differently. They have rules set up and she

(01:37:40):
could be in jail for as long as ten years
for this. I find it to be beyond crazy, but
that's the way the laws set up over there. So
the point is, you can't you hear this in boxing
all the time. Don't leave it in the hands of
the judges, right or Mixed Martial Arts UFC. We've seen
many boxers get completely ripped off over the years. Roy

(01:38:03):
Jones Jr. In the Olympics is one of the main ones.
He was absolutely robbed. But the thought is, don't leave
it in the hands of the judges because something shady
could happen. This is the ultimate example with Britney Grinder
and Russia with like weed oil in a vape cartridge.
It's the ultimate example of don't leave it in the
hands of the judges because they are royally screwing with

(01:38:26):
her right now and it's a shame, but you can't
give them the opportunity to do so. You know, you
hate to say it, but she has known what to
blame but herself. She should have known better. But it
might answer my question is this. She's an athlete, and
she's kind of a very visible athlete. Me when she
played a Baylor and she plays at w n B
A whatever it may be. But what would happen if
I Kevin Durant, god forbid or Lebron James, you know,

(01:38:50):
god forbid? What was in a similar situation, would they
be detained all those months? I don't know. Well, I
don't know. The thing is, look, let's it's Lebron James. Well,
the price just went up in terms of the swap,
because that's the talk right now is the Russians they
want to swap out someone that's being detained over here

(01:39:11):
for Brittney Grinder. It's like a trade. So they would realize, oh,
this Lebron James fellow kind of popular. Holy cow, we
can the price just went up. If you want Lebron released,
well we want our guy released as well. So they're
already talking about like a noted arms dealer that basically

(01:39:32):
um contributed to terrorism. Like that, that's who the Russians
was released in a straight up swap for Brittney Grinder.
What do you think they'd be asking if it was Lebron?
Oh my goodness, yeah, I mean you're right, you're exactly right.
But again it hurts me that that she's suffering the
way she I don't want to see anybody, But again,
you know, don't you didn't you think before you're going

(01:39:54):
through the terminal, make what were you thinking? Well, you
you've been to foreign countries, right, would you even dare
to do something like that? I've been I've been to Bulgaria.
I got off the plane in Bulgaria with my wife.
People they would shotguns in the airport. Are you kidding?
So that's the thing, man, is. Look, the deeper conversation
is I have no problem with someone that's trying to
make things better in this country, right like we're trying

(01:40:17):
to strive for things where people are being treated fairly
and properly equally that there's nothing wrong with that, But
I think what comes along with it if you're not
gonna be out there for the anthem and all a
lot of times, you're taking for granted the advantages that
we do have here, the freedoms that we do have.
Like think about that. Think of Brittney Grinder got busted

(01:40:38):
for hashish oil in a vape cartridge in the States.
She's not facing ten years in jail right like different
other places. She'd be playing in the w n B
right now, that's right. So I think that we just
have this false sense of, oh, this is the way
that not in other countries. It is one dred and
eighty degrees different in many other countries, And that, to

(01:41:00):
me is the only shame about trying to make things better.
In the process, a lot of times you failed to
appreciate the freedoms that we do have here until the Yeah,
and I'll go one stuff further. I mean, I hate
to play the role of a psychiatrist or psychologist, but
is it she was stupid by doing that? She didn't know?

(01:41:21):
No one told well, maybe it's one of those things
like you know, do you know who I am? I'm
an athlete, Like no, no, no, I just think you're Look.
I can't say what she was thinking for sure, but
my guess is you just get used to the way
things are here, like in America, and when you go
to another country, I mean, you might have a route

(01:41:43):
awaken of like oh gosh, Like put it this way,
if this was the same thing in the States, if
you were facing ten years in jail for having has
she soil in a vape cartridge? Do you do you
think she would do that here? If you were facing
and that's used to that for how many years she's
been alive or how many. She probably took it. If
she had coming back on the plane, she probably had

(01:42:06):
a going there on the plane, I would think, I
don't know who knows. But the point is right, like
you're not really thinking along the lines of what could happen,
like what if they do find this and what is
the fallout? I just I don't think that's even on
your radar because you're more so used to the way
things are over here. I really think that's the way

(01:42:28):
it goes. Good point, although she should add someone, you know,
the hindsight twenty but someone should have told, Look, you
go into a foreign country if you can't. But you know,
when I went there with my wife, we were told,
you know, hold onto your passport, don't talk to anybody,
just keep your head down. That's just the way it was.
You know, you can't. You're in a different country. Different look.

(01:42:50):
I think that, Look, if you're smart, you can learn
a lesson from somebody else, and you don't have to
learn it the hard way yourself, because look, there are
many people in this country that are on their high horse,
like what is Brittney Grinder doing that are more than
capable of doing the exact same thing right and I
would use this as an example of, hey, here's a

(01:43:11):
little reminder of things are not the same over there
as they are over here, and you've gotta be aware
of that, man, because if you leave it in the
hands of the judges, it could go the exact same
way it's going for Brittany right now, and it's a shame.
It's an absolute against that. I would say the majority
of people feel for her and would love to see
a come back. But I think that the people who

(01:43:33):
are really jumping on the bandwag and attacking her other
ones to say, look, you wouldn't stand for the flag,
and now you're begging President Biden to get you back.
It's kind of kind of funny that way, it really is.
You know, you can't have it both ways. You either
love the country and appreciate it. And I'm sure hopefully
she'll be back on when she does come back, she
will appreciate our country a lot more than before she left. Well,

(01:43:55):
and that's I mean, look, that part portion of the
argument gets very uh trade key, because look when the
people are saying, uh if it's Kaepernick, or they're not
saying they're just trying to use that to bring attention
to something else. Right, that doesn't mean they dislike the country,
but it gets confusing. I'll put it this way, Andy,

(01:44:17):
is the best way I could explain it is this.
I had a class in college one time, was a
speech class, and our teacher she said, all right, do
me a favor. Write the word mom on a piece
of paper. And she's like, all right, now, place it
on the floor and stomp on it. And I couldn't
do it right. And it's just a piece of paper,

(01:44:39):
but it's it's what it symbolizes, it's what it represents.
And so like the anthem, the flag represents something very
very meaningful to a lot of people. And and when
they're you're using that to bring attention to something else,
it gets really confusing. And I think that Britney Grinder
didn't mean it that way. I don't think Colin Kaepernick

(01:45:01):
meant it that way. But what they fail to realize
is what that symbolizes for a lot of people. Even
though they're saying no disrespect, but look at this issue,
look at that issue. A lot of other people look
at that and say, you can't just preface it with
no disrespect. But and we just shrug our shoulders and say, Okay,
it's all cool. You don't mean it that way. That's
where it gets really confusing. It doesn't mean Cap doesn't

(01:45:22):
love the country. It doesn't mean Britney Grinder doesn't love
the country. But that's what it seems like to some
people because of what that symbolizes. Brian know, Andy Furman,
Fox Sports Sunday Fox Buds. Ready, now we know you're
the goat. That's next, But first another goat. Brian family
with the lane and you Andy drink goat's milk. So
it's all connected here as a family. But Henman Hill

(01:45:48):
is packed with hundreds and thousands of people. We are
about thirty minutes away from first served between Nick Curios
and Novak Djokovic for the Wimbledon final. It is going
to be a picturesque day at the all End in
Club seventy nine degrees, and they just showed Prince William
has made his way onto the site ready to take
in the action with his wife Kate Middleton. Alright, major

(01:46:11):
League Baseball from me yesterday. Some of the notable games.
The Dodgers curb the Cubs for to to Clayton Kerr
Shomp went seven and two thirds innings, ten strikeouts and
one earned run. Giants starting hurler Carlos Rodan pitched a
complete game, a three hitter as the Giants ubstage of
the Padres three to one. The Red Sox down the
Yankee six to five. Intendannings Alex Verdugo hit that game

(01:46:34):
winning RBI that brought in the winning run. The Braves
are winners against the Nationals four to three. Austin Riley
smashed a two run homer in the first sitting. Pete
Alonso went yard his twenty three jack of the season
as the Mets close line the Marlins five to four.
The Athletics with four hits, ended up still beating the

(01:46:55):
Astros three to two. Going on as well. Internationally, it's
the Genesis Scottish Open, which is a hybrid of the
PGA Tour and the dp Tour World Tour. And you've
got Xander Shofley right now as your leader. He teas
off his final round in about two hours, two shot lead,

(01:47:18):
currently minus seven four of the week, a sixties six yesterday.
He's looking good heading into this final round. With that,
let's set it. Send it back to Brian no and
Andy Ferman, who usually shoot sixties six in nine holes,
four holes. Yes, thank you so much. I have a
great day, all right, thanks for everything you do for us.
Brian know Andy Ferman, Fox Sports Sunday on Fox Bots

(01:47:41):
Radio and not Brian Nohan knows picks in about six
seven minutes from now. I wanted to touch on Robby Anderson,
the wide receiver of the Carolina Panthers. He's got that
new quarterback in Baka Mayfield, and honestly, it looks like
they've got a start off not so friendly. Could be
a rocky study. And he said, you know, it's twenty
nine years old. He considered retirement this offseason. He also
posted on Instagram that he was get this beat. He

(01:48:03):
was against his team trading for the quarterback on the Browns,
Baker Mayfield. Oh that got him now Now he danced
a little bit the other day. He said he was
just defending his current quarterback, Sam Donald, not criticizing Mayfield.
This to me sounds like Tyreek Hill with the Dolphins
defending toa with a swap of his form of quarterback
Patrick Mahomes just trying to get in good steed with

(01:48:24):
his quarterback. Well look, um, yeah, I can understand why
he was asked those follow up questions of Robbie, um, so,
what do you think about your team getting Baker Mayfield now,
because before they did that, he was writing no on
social media about them doing that, and he was basically like, hey,

(01:48:46):
stop trying to create something here. It's just that's not
creating something out of nothing. That's a legitimate follow up, ye,
he said it. Yeah, if you say no, don't get
this quarterback and now he's your quarterback, that's that's an
obvious fault. It would be like Brian No saying to
the media, I can't stand working with Andy Furman, and
all of a sudden, you were signed working with me,

(01:49:07):
so love. I was only saying that because I like
my FLMA HOSTMA co host. Well yeah, but like with
Robbie Anderson, I know that he's gonna try to downplay this,
and that's fine. It's a really peculiar situation right where
Robbie Anderson was a teammate of Sam Donald's with the
Jets and other teammates again with the Panthers, So I

(01:49:29):
can understand why he would be talking up his guy
before they got Baker. But now that they have Baker,
my younger nephew, Mini Matt. He's now nineteen years old,
but when he was a really little kid, he would
say awkward. And that's what the situation is like. Right now.
Robbie's gonna repair this a little bit because we were
just talking about Baker with the chip on his shoulder

(01:49:51):
and taking every perceived slight. No, this isn't a perceived slight.
This is a slight. So it would be really interesting
to see. Great, it gives you another storyline the National
Football League, which you don't get in any other sport
except maybe the NBA. The storylines they just keep on
coming in the National Football They it's great. It really

(01:50:11):
is the story. If baseball wants to get to the
next level, will be be in the in the mix.
Get storylines out there. It's just not as popular of
his sport. It starts with that. But I mean, think
about this too. The NFL just wins again, just wins again.
We won Brown's Panthers. It's like, really, who thunked that? Really? Right?

(01:50:33):
It's amazing? Yeah, look you could. I don't know that
they thought this when they scheduled it, but if you
were really savvy, there weren't too many landing spots for
Baker Mayfield. I don't know if they put two and
two together and that that's what came from it, but man,
this works out great. And the other thing, though, Andy,

(01:50:54):
is with this idea that Baker is just better than
Sam Donald, that they've upgraded. We talked about this earlier
in the show. I don't know that that's the case.
You put Baker Mayfield with the Jets, you think he's
killing it, like, I don't, so I think it has
more to do with the rosters that they were on.
I don't know that Baker Mayfield is better than Sam Donald.

(01:51:15):
I really don't. In the end of the fact, the
fact that they reached out to Baker Mayfield. You know
that Baker Mayfield right now is to lead horse in
the quarterback derby. That's what I'm getting to is Sam
Donald has been in that system for over a year,
right Like he knows the terminology, he knows the playbook.
He's had more time with his teammates than Baker has.

(01:51:36):
We're looking at Week one where we're just thinking, Oh,
Baker Mayfield against this former team. Are we sure that's
gonna happen? That's my guess. But I'm just saying, don't
be shocked if Donald wins the job, and it's starting
in week one. Some people are rolling their eyes, like
that's just crazy. Why they just gave up five million
dollars for Baker Mayfield and a fifth round pick that

(01:51:59):
could be a fourth. They gave up way more for
Sam Donald. They're playing his entire fifth year salary, the
idea that it's Baker for sure. I'm not convinced it's
gonna be Baker. Well, they've they've said publicly that it's
open season, open competition, and for the record, I think
they both think, like, don't be wrong. I don't think that,
you know, like the money great, right, No, I'm just

(01:52:22):
not convinced Baker is better than Donald. And we'll see
what happens. When he was on the center an opening day. However,
one last bit of information, but the end of the
two football season, Tom Brady could set the record for
most playoff wins by a starting quarterback against NFC teams.
It's amazing because he's only been playing in the end
of the seed for two full seasons and he may
break the record. It's amazing. It really is current rect

(01:52:43):
for most playoff wins because NFC teams belongs to Bread
twelve wins during his twenty career. He had a liven
with the Packers and won more with the Vikings. That's
an amazing record for two years. But how so how
long is it gonna take Brady? He could end this year? Well, yeah,
he's got all those super Bowl wins that that was
the Because I'm doing the math, I'm like, so, how

(01:53:04):
many wins do you have in Tampa? But it's also
those Super Bowls that he's Yeah, so he's got six
of those, right with the Patriots beating an NFC team,
they won what four games in that that first super
Bowl run with Tampa that's ten and then what one
last year against the Eagles that's where they lost to
the Rams. So he's gonna get to this year. He'll

(01:53:25):
get to this year. Wow, how crazy is that? It's
amazing that may be one of the better records. He
has his third year in the NFC and he could
have the most playoff wins against It's unreal, really, But
I'd like to know the guy who who kind of
keeps these stats on these records. To me that that's
even more amazing. Brian no way, the firm of Fox

(01:53:48):
Sports Sunday on Fox Sports Radio. Now he started celebrating
the fourth just a little bit early. We'll tell you
all about it next. Fox Sports Radio has the best

Nose Picks coming right up. This is Fox Sports Sunday. Heyes,

(01:54:11):
Brian No, I'm Andy Firmer. Not told it. It's not
before the top of the hour, by the way, at
the top of the hour, which would be nine am
on the East coast, Mike Harmon and Bucky Brooks joint forces.
You could hear them on the I Heart app on
sirius xm AD three and many of these same Fox
Sports Radio affiliates. And before we go to nose picks,
great great thing on Twitter today. Dan Sewell was an

(01:54:32):
Associated Press reporter for forty years. Retired now in Cincinnati.
He says the thing on Twitter. Who will spend more
time in prison Brittany Grinder, Donald Trump or a city
Cincinnati City councilman, PG sitton Felt who was convicted of
bribery uh the other day. Sitton Felt wins with two
grants seventy one percent to seven percent, I'm sorry, and

(01:54:55):
Donald Trump six percent, So pg Sitton fells to winner
on that. Oh guy, let's go. Time for you, Time
for you be nose picks. Let's do it. Are you
in desperate need of gambling? Insight? Do not fear for

(01:55:15):
Brian no is here and now the time is up
for nose picks. All right? From in quick recap last week,
I took the Braves to win against your Reds, looking
very very mediocre. What the Braves? I'm sorry. The Reds

(01:55:36):
have one like five games during the season. I swear
I've picked against them four times and nose picks, and
they've burned me every time. I need to stop doing that.
I did have the Astros to win by at least
two runs against the Angels. That did work out. I
took the under in the Padres Dodgers game. Clayton Kershaw
was on the bump. Holy smoke wow in three one

(01:56:00):
and two. But yeah, losing record. We gotta rebound over here,
Andy got a rebound. I'm looking to do it. Let's
start with Wimbledon. Huh the Joker. I think the Joker
wins the day with relative ease. I'm gonna take the
under forty one and a half total games. So think

(01:56:22):
of it this way, Andy, Let's simplify it. Let's say
that a set is like six to four, right, so
think about it. That's ten right there. So let's say
at first set, second set, third set, we're at thirty.
Let's say it goes to a fourth set, so that's
around forty games. Now, it could fluctuate a little bit.
Maybe you have a six five set. Maybe there's a
six three set. Right. I think we're gonna be under

(01:56:45):
the total amount of games at forty one and a
half pretty handily, pretty handily. Yeah, do you like it?
I do? I do like that. Okay, we're going joker
today and I'm gonna keep it simple. Pinstripes baby. Yankees
been red hot. They have had a fantastic season. I
go fine, but they were outstanding on Friday, a lot

(01:57:06):
of runs scored. I'm gonna take the team total over
four and a half runs today. Yankees Sunday Night Baseball
against the Red Sox. You like that? Nick Pavetta going
for the Red Sox. I'm also gonna take the Yanks.
We got him at minus one thirty five tonight. Goodness,
I know they're on the road. They're facing Boston. It

(01:57:27):
might not work out, but the Yankees at minus one five,
I'll take that all day. So pinstripes on that you
with me? I'm with you. Are you smelling three and oh? Yeah?
I do? Actually I do. Today. You were smelling three
and oh last week too. I think I wasn't think
you were. You were. Hopefully you're right this week, Andy Fermant.
But it's time to go your own way, buddy. What

(01:57:48):
do you have here? I go. I'll tell you what
we're talking about. July fourth came with literally I had
to tell you this story. Really, NFL, why receive a
David Moore? He just signed a contract with the Chicago
Business off season. He was as died on July the
third after he allegedly fell asleep and a Taco Bell
drive through. According to the Gainesville Police Department, officers found

(01:58:08):
More asleep in the driver's seat of a four and
f two fifty at the local Taco Bell around eleven
eighteen pm when on the third of July. Cops said
they were able to make contact with More claimed that
he smelled of weed during the questioning and an ensuing search,
police say revealed he had a package of th hc

(01:58:31):
edible candies along with three pistols in his car. He
was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful
carrying of weapons. Nice going, d M. David Moore day ago.
By the way, what do you order at Taco Bell? Andy?
I like the pack that they have, that taco pack
whatever it's called, their little box, the box of upox

(01:58:54):
tacos crunch style. Yeah, I like. I'm gonna thank you
to Italy over here, Christian Cavaletti. He's got a crazy
collection of pepsi cans. Andy Furman, guess how many pepsi
cans this guy has. That's a little too high, a
little too high. But he has over twelve thousand cans

(01:59:17):
from all over the world. Twelve thousand cans of pepsi.
So he started this collection in nine is well, I
would have I don't know. I don't know. But his
brother Edward, Oh, this is how it started. I do
know this part. It's because of the movie Back to
the Future. So in the movie Marty McFly, he orders

(01:59:37):
a pepsi and receives a futuristic Pepsi perfect bottle, and
so this started the whole movement over here. So the
brothers they started collecting pepsi cans. So Christian I didn't
know about this. There are two can collector clubs. He's
in the National Pop Can Collectors and also Pepsi Cola
Collectors Club. It's got cans from eighty one different countries.

(02:00:00):
Doesn't want this to remain private. He's trying to turn
this into an in depth exhibit for other people to
take part in this and enjoy it. His favorite flavor,
wild cherry from the US for him, how do you
like that? That's great? Our time is up. Thank you
for yours, have a wonderful day. We'll see you here
next week right here on Fox Sports Radio.
