Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now here's a highlight from coast to coast AM on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
And welcome back, George Nori with you. Suzanne Wilson back
with us, Arizona based author, medium, paranormal presenter. She is
scientifically verified research medium known as the care Free Medium,
and has a master's degree in Public affairs policy a
bachelor's degree in management. She has researched and is well
informed on many paranormal topics. Tonight we'll be talking about
(00:28):
some of her other thoughts. Suzanne, welcome back. How have
you been.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
I'm really happy to be here. Thanks George. Excited about tonight?
Speaker 2 (00:36):
You all ready for Christmas?
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Absolutely? Bring it on. I just got back from what
felt like the land of Christmas. I was over in
Budapest and Prague doing some work over there, insight seeing,
and I came back with the Christmas spirit. Now it's
all over Arizona too.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
How about you getting ready? Getting ready? I've still got
about the little lesson two weeks, so I'm okay.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
You'll make it.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Absolutely. You've talked about the veil before. What does that mean?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Well, when we have to use labels, we need to
have a common language. So many people have heard of
the veil between worlds, the living and the dead, or
as I call them, the so called living, because many
of the so called dead are much more lively. The
other side of life is our true home, where souls
that have bodies, not bodies that have souls. So this
(01:27):
veil is a sort of a construction or a separation
that allows us to live our normal lives on Earth.
When we're on the other side of life, we can
see through it. When we're here on Earth, the veil
protects us so that we can have our human experiences.
It's a separation.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
The separation, though what does it mean when you unveil
the veil?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
That's when interesting things start happening. And that's what I
really want to dive into tonight with you, George, because
we're in a period of time where that veil is
so thin and getting thinner that we have a tremendous
increase in paranormal activity and people hearing from their beloved pets,
and people who have crossed over connecting with guides. And
(02:18):
there's some reasons why it's getting easier to not have
to go and get a reading, but make a direct
connection right now. And I think you'll find it fascinating.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
You've looked at some hot spots around the country and
probably the planet. Where are some hotspots these days?
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Well, it's really funny because right now, driving your car
is one good hot spot. There are some surveys out
about people who have been seeing unidentified anomaloust phenomena in
the sky that is increased over the last year even
and people seeing ghostly images alongside of the road, and
(02:58):
that's happening especially. We have a lot of information on
that in the United States right now. But some of
the hot spots are cities like San Diego, Colorado, and
eastern and central Europe have a lot of hot spots
anywhere that there has been a lot of emotion, a
lot of history, and a lot of people investigating, collecting
(03:21):
data in evidence. We can call that a hot spot.
But I mean, somebody listening to this right now can
be living in a house that is a veritable hot
spot just because of the level of activity and the
types of activity is going on. And it's not scary,
not necessarily scary. Sometimes people can be startled, but we're
(03:44):
getting contacted is helpful, hope for healing as well.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
You were in the land of where Harry Houdini was.
Of course, he was obsessed with finding mediums good ones,
and he wanted to really get to the bad ones,
didn't he?
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, he did. And I got to have a private
tour of David Merlini's House of Houdini when it is
the largest, I think, repository of Houdini memorabilia. His handcuffs
are there, a lot of the accouterment that he used
(04:19):
for the things that he did as an escape artist.
And wow, I mean people there were people that came
in after me that said they could feel the energy
in that place is very exciting. I didn't sense Harry
Houdini or Eric Weiss there as his original name was.
I didn't sense him myself, but I tell you just
(04:40):
to see the handcuffs that he used and to stay
for a magic show. His presence is certainly there. But
he did not love mediums. There's a well documented history
of him wanting to out the frauds that took advantage
of people, and then also him passing on Hallow and
(05:00):
his wife continuing to try to contact him unsuccessfully.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, he was obsessed with trying to find the real
mediums and to just nail the frauds.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, in the research that I've done, it just feels
like he wanted to believe but couldn't believe. And part
of that is that that seems like it was his
challenge in life also is to search. He's a truth seeker,
but an entertainer as well, and just a dynamo of
(05:35):
a person.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Let's talk about after death communications, Susanne, and also when
did you get your gifts? How did it develop?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I had it as a child, and I'm not going
to try to present myself as some kind of wunderkind that,
oh my god, I'm so great. Your loved ones all
talk to me. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
I try to push it aside, George, because I wanted
to whe I did not want to be crazy Susie,
as I was called in school and get bullied for
(06:05):
the things I saw and said that I saw because
I couldn't shut up. I tried to have a normal life,
and then things happened in adult years where I had
to push aside the whole corporate and academ career and
just say, look, this is who I am. Too many
things are happening to me to get my attention. So
then I studied, I studied with good teachers. I submitted
(06:26):
myself to scientific double blind and triple blind experiments try
to add to the body of knowledge about mediumship. And
I'm trying to teach other people how to do this
themselves now. So it's been a you know, I will
say this. The teacher once told me, you will be
(06:46):
the best medium you can be on the last day
of your life, because you're always improving. And I kind
of turn that around and say, we'll be the best
human beings we can be on the last stay of
our lives. It's all learning and growth.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Did your family encourage you?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
I had a granddad who was a Presbyterian preacher who
I can fight it in as a child, and when
I told him the things I was seeing and experiencing,
to my relief, he said, I see them too, and
he talked with me about you know, how to manage
the ability, but also that this is something that's given
to you by God, and later on in life I
(07:28):
would figure out exactly what to do with it, and boy,
it was a long circuitous route. I would call myself
a late bloomer. And then there's the rest of the
world that seemed like that didn't really want to encourage
anything that felt scary or bad. I think he was
an anomalist person himself, being involved in the church, having
(07:53):
a PhD in metaphysical sciences. I'm really lucky that I
had him. He was gone when I was young. I
was a teenager when he passed, so I lost my
mentor and kind of lost my way for a while.
But you know, fate, God source always brings us back
to what we're meant to do.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
He explain to us your definition of after death communications.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Well, we have definitions of after death communications thanks to
the work of researchers of the last twenty decades. In
modern times, I would point to Bill and Judy Guggenheim
and their seminal book Hello from Heaven, which I've given
(08:40):
away so many copies of that over the years that
finally the day came when I met Bill Guggenheim, who's
now on the other side. I told him how many
copies they've given away, and he said, I'll have set
you books if I knew you, And you said.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Have asked.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
But the after death communications include a wide range of ways.
For example, signs, symbols, synchronicities. I call them those freaky
dgy coincidences that tell you something else is going on here,
something special, dream visits, out of body experiences with visits,
(09:16):
and so many more things using devination tools. After the
communications are directly between the spirit person and the so
called living person.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
You've talked about in the past that when somebody dies
it could take now up to two years for communication
to occur. How'd you come up with that number?
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Well, a couple things. It's two years right now, especially
because of the thinning of the veil, and we can
talk about, you know, what's working on the veil, what's
making that happen. But also if you look at their
research into grief and healing grief, it is the first
two years when the person really desperately wants to know
(10:03):
that their loved one on the other side is okay.
In that first year, if that person's really close to
them or that pet is particularly close to them, the
grief is really heavy and they're getting also they're getting
assistance from loved ones around them. And the second year,
they say, is often the hardest because people are like,
aren't you over that by now? Shouldn't it be a
little bit better, a lot better by now? And there's
(10:26):
sort of left on their own, and those emotions can
run so high, and that feeling of being alone or
abandoned and just coping and trying to get through a
new life as you know it without that person or
pet can block the communications, can block you from recognizing
your adc or after death communications to signs and so forth.
(10:48):
And right now we've been in a two year period
that started this year of a really extra special sinning
of the veil that if somebody has lost a pet
or person very close to them this year, next year
is going to be easier than it has been in
a long time to hear from them directly.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Why does it even have to take time?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
It shouldn't, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you get the
dream visit as the person has passed that come to
you that night and let you know I've passed away.
It doesn't have to take that long, but it can.
And we have to let that be okay, because we
who are here, we're the ones that are left behind
to finish living our lives before we join them. We're
(11:35):
the problem. We're the thing that holds up the communication.
And it's okay. It's not a judgment, it's not a
failing on our part, but we have to experience our grief.
We can just tuck it to the side and start
getting readings every day to feed our hurt feelings and
keep our ego afloat. We really are here to experience,
(11:58):
unfortunately the pain of the separation, because it highlights the
beauty of the love that we have, so our grief
actually gets in the way.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Susan, why is it so important to deal with the dead.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Because we are them and we are going home when
we pass, And I don't want to encourage anybody to
go home early. I say home with a capital age,
meaning our true home, the spirit world. We're all going
back there. We're not going to escape death and taxes, right,
and to understand ourselves. We can get a more care
(12:38):
free life and get more out of our life here
and be kinder to ourselves than others. If we understand
there's no escape from ourselves. You are not going to
be able to have lights out. It's all over. Someday,
You're going to continue, You're going to go on. So
accepting the greater reality that life is forever is us
(13:00):
not always here on earth, will empower you and encourage
you to live by the golden rule to treat others
as you would have them treat you. That helps us
bring a little bit of heaven to Earth. Now, I'm
not saying all this to fluff up people and say
be nice, but I'm telling you you will never escape yourself.
All of your thoughts, words, and actions or inactions are
(13:22):
going to go with you wherever you go to next
when you leave the body here, And we have some
idea of what that place is. And it's a world
without pain, it's a world without death or illness, and
it's a busy world with a lot of creativity. But
we'll be talking about things we did and didn't do
here on Earth, And won't you want to be proud
(13:44):
of you mostly did the best you could every day.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Sure do tell us the unusual story of the dead
person who used artificial intelligence to communicate with the living.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Yeah, this has been bugging me and it's in a
while now, and now it seems like it's it's taking
off even more, where people are paying companies to recreate
their deceased loved one and they supply the company with
access to their loved ones social media. They give them
(14:19):
full access to the emails and texts that they've shared
with each other, and an AI form of that love
one is created so that the client can then interact
with the loved one. And a couple of years ago,
when my client presented me with I've been doing this
(14:40):
and it's got a little weird, he was told when
he made us purchase that this this version of your
loved one will not really create new content. It has
to be something searchable, some exchange of information you've had before. Well,
this a version of the loved one was creating new content,
(15:03):
new stories, new subject areas, and I really feel like
my client was getting quite addicted to it. Now. I've
interviewed a couple of people who are working in this
field now since that whole incident was shared with me,
and they're saying, yes, we're putting controls on that, we're
(15:24):
asking a therapist to be involved, so this can have
a therapeutic application. But it's just I don't know, as
somebody who's had to sit in a laboratory with the
university professor and be tested and give evidence that I'm
really in contact with the soul. They're giving evidence that
(15:45):
nobody could know and it's confirmed. It kind of just
creeps me out a little bit. I know that's weird
in and of itself, right, but it kind of creeps
me out that somebody would trust a computer program to
represent their loved one, and I think it's a danger
road we might go down here.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Wasn't Edison obsessed with trying to communicate with the dead?
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Yes, oh my goodness. And he was one of the
original brains working on the soul phone, and there is
evidence that strongly suggests that he's still working as part
of what doctor Gary Schwartz calls his a team and
spirit that is helping him create a soul phone at
(16:29):
the University of Arizona now on the Soul Phone Foundation.
So the work goes on. Like I said, we're not
going to die, We're not going to end. And if
we get to the other side and we still want
to work and we want to work with people here,
a way will be found.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Is that advisory board still around, that Soul Phone advisory board?
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Yeah, yeah, it is. And I haven't been able to
be involved with it for a while. I was very
involved for quite a while, but I'm travel a lot,
have other things I have to work on for myself.
But I will tell you, these are really dedicated people
that the whole vision there is to bring peace to
(17:08):
the world by helping to create evidence that shows that
what have just been saying and what you know is
that we're never going to escape ourselves. It's never going
to be lights out. We go on, so we should
do a good job of being good human beings. So
it's a good thing. But with the veil fitning, who knows,
(17:29):
maybe we won't need a cull phone. Maybe we are
our own individuals soull phones. The jury still out.
