(00:42):
your own research and discover the subject matter for yourself. Hi,
I'm Sandra Champlain. For over twenty five years, I've been
on a journey to prove the existence of life after death.
On each episode, will discuss the reasons we now know
(01:02):
that our loved ones have survived physical death and so
will we Welcome to Shades of the Afterlife. In our
conversation today, you will discover why a left brained, skeptical
mechanical engineer came to believe in the afterlife after a
single undeniable experience. Also the details of quantum healing hypnosis
(01:27):
technique and how it allows people to communicate with loved
ones in the afterlife and with their higher self. Also
evidence for miraculous instantaneous physical healings through this technique and
what it is truly like on the other side, why
time is an illusion, and the surprising reason your loved
(01:48):
ones want to connect. And finally, a simple ten minute
daily practice to help you connect with your higher self
and the spirit world. The woman who has gathered all
all of this profound wisdom is doctor Holly Duckworth, a psychotherapist, author,
and a practitioner of Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing hypnosis technique,
(02:11):
certified at the highest level. Her own spiritual journey began
in a dark night of the soul before the work
of Dolores Cannon changed her life forever. Today, drawing from
over fifteen hundred hypnosis sessions, she helps clients release subconscious limitations,
connect with their loved ones, and find their true purpose.
(02:34):
She's the author of the Powerful Spiritual Trilogy, including books
Finding Purpose, Finding Forgiveness, and Finding Gratitude. You can find
out more about doctor Holly at her website awarecare durngo
dot com. So get comfortable, open your mind, and let's
welcome doctor Holly Duckworth.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
My bachelor's degree is in mechanical engineering. My PhD is
Insich called that I spent the early part of my
career and really buttoned up corporate engineering, crossing t's dotting
i's work. Towards the end of twenty twelve, my son,
who was only twenty at the time, was arrested for
(03:16):
dy and at the time we lived in Phoenix and
there was a very notorious sheriff there who built tent
cities for incarcerated people. So, as you can imagine, as
a mom, I was a nervous wreck. I couldn't visit him.
I could only have an occasional conversation with him, And
in one of those conversations, he said, Hey, Mom, I
(03:40):
found this book in jail I think you'd really like
and it was Dolores Cannon's Convoluted Universe Book four.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
I had never heard of her, would.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Have never heard of her, so Amazon Click Click got
the book so we'd have something to talk about at
our next phone call. I started reading this book, Sandra,
and everything I ever believed in my entire life. There
it was in print. I had never seen it in
print before. I was never a religious person, but I
was always a spiritual person, and so I started devouring
(04:13):
her books. She only wrote twenty one books. They're all profound,
and they're all based on her hypnosis research. So by
the time my son got out, I had read about
five or six of her books, and she was going
to be having a weekend seminar. Now here's the skeptic park.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Because I was an engineer, I was left brained, and
I had so much respect for her research. But this
whole time, I'm thinking that hypnosis stuff is not going
to work on me. So I go into that retreat
with my son and thinking this huge amount of skepticism.
(04:51):
She would put two hundred people into hypnosis simultaneously in
these hotel ballrooms. In the first day she did past
life regression, and then she'd do meet your Spirit Guides,
and then she'd do future life. But the first one
was past life. She gets us into hypnosis and I
look down and I'm in a pass life. I was
(05:13):
an African American woman in probably the nineteen teens in
Saint Louis or Chicago, some big city, and just living
her ordinary life, hanging laundry in the backyard and having kids.
And at one point I was experiencing myself as her
cooking bacon. I could smell the bacon go all the
(05:35):
way through that woman's life up to looking at myself
in the casket. She pulls us out of hypnosis and
I'm like, oh my gosh, this stuff fororks, this really works. Anyway,
the whole weekend was so profound. That was in January.
I was in training in February and I've never looked back.
So that was twenty thirteen, So twelve years now, yeah,
(05:56):
almost thirteen years.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Yeah, goodness. That cows that tie in with work, becoming
a psychotherapist and the afterlife.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
The psychology thing is not required, certainly to do quantum
healing hypnosis technique, but it does help me work with
the hypnosis, working with altered states of consciousness, working spiritually
helps me work with my psychotherapy clients as well. But
when we go into quantum healing hypnosis technique number one,
(06:30):
we generally have what is called a past life experience.
Now I often say I'm a past life regressionist. That
doesn't believe in past lives. If you think about it,
time is an illusion, and so our past lives. From
a spiritual standpoint, spirit the higher self. I use the
term higherself. You could call it soul over soul, consciousness,
(06:54):
super consciousness, pick a word, they don't care. It's the
true aspect of you, okay, the eternal aspect of you.
That's who we're talking to in a quantum healing hypnosis
technique session. But before we talk to the higher self,
we usually have some sort of other life experience. I
prefer that term than past life because they're all happening now.
(07:18):
Through those past life experiences, we begin to realize how
this life isn't it. It's not one and done right.
Our soul is having all of these different kinds of
life experiences. So I think that helps my clients understand
that this isn't it. They aren't just that one teeny
(07:40):
tiny little monkey suit I call it.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
That's what this is.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
This monkey suit isn't all we are. Okay, We've had
lots and lots and lots of different kinds of experiences.
So that's one way it's connected for the client, for
their visceral understanding that this isn't all I am one incarnation.
But then also a lot of clients come in asking
(08:05):
to be connected to past loved ones if a higher
self can connect, And absolutely it's like ridiculously easy for
us to connect with loved ones that are no longer
in their body through qahht. And so oftentimes my clients
will have very specific questions about their loved ones, about
(08:29):
a certain experience or a certain situation they want some
sort of resolution on. Usually it's something about forgiveness, some
sort of regret they might have had with that person.
And then a lot of times my clients will just
have curiosity questions, where are you now, what's it like?
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Tell me about it?
Speaker 1 (08:48):
And then the third most common thing is they'll want
some sort of message. I would say, Sandra, about probably
about seventy percent of the time we make this connection,
yourself will say yes, it's very appropriate for Mom to
come through, or for Jeff to come through or whomever.
(09:08):
Right then I can speak directly with Jeff or Mom
or whomever to get the client's questions answered. Because we're
all higher self from the other side of the veil,
the separation isn't so distinct. I say, it's more like
Jello than concrete in terms of the connectivity of different
(09:29):
aspects of consciousness. So I've talked to lots and lots
and lots and lots of people that are on the
other side of the veil that my clients want to
connect with through QAHHT and it's super easy.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Now here's the question I think people are wondering, how
do we know you're really connecting with them? It's not
just the person's imagination, because sometimes if you go to
a good medium, and hopefully if you go to a
good medium, you're hearing evidence that number one, they shouldn't know.
But also there's sometimes evidence that even the sitter doesn't know.
(10:03):
They go back and check in its reality. So two ways.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Number one is like that medium thing, like, if my
client has a question of tell Jeff I'm sorry, okay,
then a good QHHD practitioner, just like Dolores Cannon herself,
is a good questioner. That's how we hone her skill is.
They're asking questions. I'll ask is it appropriate for Mary to.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Connect with Jeff? Yes? Can we bring Jeff? Can I
speak with Jeff directly? Yes? Thank you? Jeff.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Mary wants to make sure that she's forgiven, Do you
forgive her? And of course Jeff always says yes, of course,
and so then I'll follow up with, oh, forgive her
for what. I don't know what this situation was. She
didn't share it with me, but yet Jeff will speak
to us very specifically, and then I'll go into all
of the nooks and crannies that Mary may or may
(10:56):
not know about from Jeff's perspective of what is being forgiven.
So we'll go into perhaps aspects of the situation that
even Mary herself didn't know about from Jeff's perspective of
the situation. Okay, so that's one aspect of corroborating evidence.
But I think the most important aspect of corroborating evidence
(11:20):
is the emotion. QHHD sessions are hugely emotional, and usually
our loved ones come in even as the higher self
comes in. There's a lot of emotion. There's crying, there's laughing,
there's a lot of emotional release. Usually my clients, when
(11:41):
the other person comes in from the other side of
the veil, there will be an enormous amount of emotion.
As a psychologist, I happen to know you can't fake emotions.
Of course, actors act emotions all the time, but even
an actor.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Isn't actually feeling the emotion in that moment.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
And then when I pull my client out, I'm like, oh,
how was that when we connected with Jeff, And they'll
usually start crying again and go, oh, my gosh, it
felt exactly like he was in the room. It felt
exactly like him, And they'll describe all sorts of I
felt like I was safe, or I felt like I
was at home, or I felt like I.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Could be myself.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
However they have resonated emotionally with that person, is how
they will literally feel the same emotions.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
That will arise.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
So to me, it's not so much the facts or
figures or secrets or perspectives that are the calling card
of truth. It's the emotions that are the calling card
of truth.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
So if Jeff is speaking through one of these sessions,
he's actually speaking with the person you're working with, right,
He's speaking through the person I'm working with. This is
a concept that I have never heard of before through hypnosis,
that people connect and loved ones can talk through the
person who's hypnotized. So we'll be right back with more
(13:05):
of doctor Holly Duckworth. In a moment, you are listening
to Shades of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and costacost
am Heirinormal Podcast Network. Welcome back to Shades of the Afterlife.
(13:34):
I'm Sandra Champlain, and you're hearing my conversation with doctor
Holly Duckworth, who practices a certain kind of hypnosis called
q hh T, in which the voice of someone deceased
is speaking through someone hypnotized. This is a totally new
concept for me, so let's continue with psychotherapist doctor Holly Duckworth.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Me, it's not so much the facts or figures or
secrets or perspectives that are the calling card of truth.
It's the emotions that are the calling card of truth.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
So if Jeff is speaking through one of these sessions,
he's actually speaking with the person you're working with, right.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
He's speaking through the person I'm working with, So their
conscious mind is not participating in the conversation. It might
be aware, but it's not participating as if I'm talking
directly to Jeff.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Pretty mind blowing. How long is one of these sessions?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
So QHHT sessions are only ever done in person, never online,
and they're five to seven hours you'll only ever have
one session. The client comes in all the questions they
want to ask the higher self. So usually these are
questions about physical health. That's most of my clients. They
want some sort of physical healing, which is done emotional health,
(14:58):
of course, life decision connecting with loved ones, spiritually oriented questions, relationships,
it doesn't matter. And then we spend a couple of
hours in the morning making sure that I understand not
only the questions but the context around the questions. The
hypnosis alone is two to three hours, and it just
(15:21):
takes that amount of time to develop that deep of
a trance to get to where we need to get.
Clinical hypnosis. It's like apples and oranges. I don't even
know that you could compare it to qahht. Clinical hypnosis
is usually a one hour appointment, So you got five
or ten minutes in the beginning for some paperwork or
meeting the doctor, then maybe twenty minutes or thirty minutes
(15:45):
in hypnosis, and then another ten fifteen twenty minutes of debrief.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
I'm not even warmed up.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
In twenty minutes. It's like we're not even relaxed for
twenty minutes, much less in hypnosis.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
It's a good hour to set.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
The trance that we need just to get to the
other life experience, and then another hour beyond.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
That to get to the higher self.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
So it's an enormous luxury of time, but that's what's
required to get into that really deep level of trance.
We audio record everything that happens in the hypnosis. Sometimes
clients are aware of what transpired, sometimes they're not.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
It's like a dream.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
You're a little in and a little out. Maybe you
think you remember some stuff, and then you'll listen to
the recording and go, Okay, I do not remember saying that,
and then, just like a dream, right after they come out,
it just evaporates. All those neurotransmitters are just flooding the brain,
just like in dream state. And so even if you
think you remembered it, it's going to evaporate super super quickly.
(16:50):
Most people don't remember what happened. And so then working
with that recording, listening to that recording over and over
and over again, working with the information that came through,
honestly for years to come after the session. That's the
work that the client leaves with incredible.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
I do want to talk about the common analoities with
the afterlife. But you'd mentioned healing. What kind of healing?
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Oh? Everything, I've seen tumors dissolve in front of my eyes,
stage four cancer instantaneously cured, name and autoimmune disease. It's
been healed. Te three, grown bones, regrown metal dissolve from
the body.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Yeah, listeners, it skeetsy my face, but I'm like jaw
to the ground.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Well, let me tell you about an interesting physical healing
so you don't even have to believe and it works.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
So I had a gentleman many years ago. He was
in his seventies. His son, an MD, had sent him
to me, and him and his son were originally from
Pakistan and they were devout Muslims. The gentleman had a
recurrence of bladder cancer.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
So he'd had bladder.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Cancer once gone through all the standard issue western medicine chemotherapy, YadA, YadA.
A few years had passed and the bladder cancer had
come back, and I think his son, the MD, probably
knew how the western medicine probably wasn't going to help
second go around. He sent his dad to me. Dad
knew nothing. Was not spiritually oriented at all, was very
(18:30):
very tied to his Islamic religion, spoke decent English, but
not fluent English, and so we went through the whole process. They,
being the Higher Self, instantaneously cured his bladder cancer. And
he was one of these people that is not in hypnosis,
was not consciously aware, had no conscious awareness, and so
(18:50):
I wake him up after the hypnosis, me knowing they
had cured his cancer. So he went to the restroom.
Most people go to the restroom upon awakening. And I
met my computer getting his files ready for him for
his recording, and he was.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Back into the room. What happened? What happened?
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Said, well, they cured you, so because it was bladder cancer,
he had a problem going to the restroom normally immediately
upon awakening. He went to the restroom and had no
problems in the restroom, and it freaked him out.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Wasn't what he was expecting. So there it was.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
He was not necessarily a spiritually oriented person in terms
of believing in miracle healing or anything like that. And
his son was an MD working in the Western medical field,
and here he was with an instantaneous cure for his
bladder cancer through QAHHD so and follow up he was
(19:49):
great I had for years and I still do have
some But for years I had a very steady stream
of clients from this doctor that he would send me
his case.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Holy cow, Holly, thank goodness. Okay, So what do they
say about the afterlife.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
It's just a different dimension. So it's the old saying,
you are not a human having a spiritual experience. You're
a spirit having a human experience. Once you flip your
thinking one hundred and eighty degrees, your true self, your
actual self has put on a monkey suit.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Then when the monkey suit is finished with what the
monkey suit needs to do, then you go back to
being your true self. But your true self is inside
the monkey suit, running around operating the monkey suit.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
It's not that we think, oh, well, I'm having this
human life, I need to pray to the other side.
I need to connect through maybe prayer or meditation or whatever,
and those things absolutely help.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
But it's not that the.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Human is reaching out to the other side of the veil.
It's that when that person was incarnate in the body,
that their spirit was having the human experience. Your spirit
and the other person's spirit are still connected with or
without the monkey suits, and so it's just as easy
(21:23):
to connect withther without a monkey suit, because the true
you isn't the monkey suit.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Okay. So what do they say, Jeff and the others
about the afterlife? Is it something we create, you see,
our loved ones, our pets.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
So, like I said, I don't resonate with the term
past life, Okay, I really don't. And a lot of
my clients, instead of going to a past life, they'll
go to what I call an eternal life. They'll go home, okay,
They'll go to truth, and so they'll have extremely vivid
descriptions of what it means to be outside of form,
(22:04):
which is all we are in between lives, which is
all we are in.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Truth, okay.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
And all of this is happening in the now. It's
not linear time. It's not like I was alive and
then I died, and then I went home, and then
I picked another life, and then I went home. All
lives are happening in the now, and your spirit is
resident at home in the new. And an eternity is
(22:32):
not a really really really really really long time.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Eternity is timeless ness. Okay.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
It's outside of time, which is where our truth resides,
which is where we really are is outside of time.
A good way to wrap our head around it is
that this that we're in right now and our insider
monkey suits is like the Holodeck on Star Trek. It's
like a hologram, like we come in to play this
(23:00):
game called life for a little period of time for
some sort of purpose and some sort of lesson with
others that we've done things with before in other series
of the Holidack. But there, when we're outside of the
holid Deck is actual reality. Okay, this is the dream. Okay,
(23:21):
there is the truth. Sometimes my clients will describe the
body is a little amorphous. It has arms and legs,
but not really. It usually has some sort of color,
some sort of emotion. It definitely has a feeling about it.
So in wo WU terms, we might say a vibrational frequency.
(23:42):
That's how everybody recognizes everybody. You don't need a name
on the other side of the veil, because you recognize
each other from your frequency. From your vibration, you manifest
things and do things and interact with different aspects energy
on the other side of the veil. So it's a
lot like here in that regard, it is.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
All only love.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
There are no dense emotions. There's no fear. The higher
self has no idea what fear is, doesn't have the
capability of feeling any kind of fear. We come here
to play with fear. Delores felt it was really important
to take the person in the other life through the
death process. So an inherent part of qahht is to
(24:30):
experience the death process in the other life firsthand, so
you actually learn what it feels like to die and
how that process then works. And so there's always a greeting,
there's always a coming back to home and.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Hey, how was it on the Holidayck? What was that? Like?
What do you think about what you did?
Speaker 1 (24:49):
What we call a life review, But there's no judgment,
there's no damnation. It's like just a lot of curiosity
and a lot of welcoming.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
So that kind of thing over and over and over
and over and over again.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I like how you have that experience of death, because
that means you also have that experience that I'm not dead, Yes, exactly.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
And it's funny because a goodly portion of clients their
conscious mind is somewhat aware during hypnosis, and so I'll
get to see like the conscious mind, subconscious mind battle
going on a little bit. So there are some sort
of pioneer woman on the prairie and she gets shot
with an arrow or whatever.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Right, we need to take a quick break, but oh,
there's so much more when we get back. You're listening
to Shades of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and Coast
to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. Welcome back to Shades
(26:04):
of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain, and if you are
anything like me, you are googling QAHHT during the break.
And here's what I found about physical healing. Some clients
report relief from chronic pain, illness, and other issues. While
QAHHT is not a substitute for medical treatment, some believe
that the subconscious is so powerful it can facilitate healing
(26:27):
or reveal emotional factors contributing to physical conditions. Very interesting stuff.
Let's continue with doctor Holly, who has done over fifteen
hundred of these QHHT sessions.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
A goodly portion of clients their conscious mind is somewhat
aware during hypnosis, and so I'll get to see the
conscious mind subconscious mind.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Battle going on a little bit.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
So there are some sort of pioneer woman on the
prairie and she gets shot with an arrow or whatever. Right,
some sort of unexpected ending to the life. We'll go
through another story.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
We just call it that.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
It could be a past life, a future life, a
simultaneous life, and eternal life. I don't know where they're
going to take you. I don't decide that. The higher
self decides that. So it's some sort of life that
was cut short. And then I'll go okay now and
I'll have them look back. This is Dolores's process. What
did you think was the lesson and purpose of that life?
(27:28):
And so Prairie woman will reflect on her life and
tell me what she thinks her purpose was and what
she thinks her lesson was. So we'll explore that life
a little bit. And then I'll go, Okay, now everything
happened has already happened, and you've left the body. Now
where are you? And you'll see the conscious mind go WHOA, well, yeah,
(27:50):
oh I can do this next thing.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
What can I explore more?
Speaker 1 (27:55):
And then we go into the afterlife and it's a
whole nother exploration. But you'll see to that momentary of that.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Oh we're going more.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
They didn't know where I was going to take him
and it was like, oh, I get to see this,
and so that's always fun.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
What does the higher self want us to know about
communicating with our loved ones? Because after the session, of course,
people have the recording and that's where you say the
work begins and everything. But can we stay in communication
with our loved ones? Absolutely? In fact, the higher self,
because they're speaking to me through my client. I've had
the higher self go oh, this is so clunky. This
(28:32):
is so hard to do using a mouth to form language.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Because they're telepathic and so then they can share hugely
rich amounts of information telepathically.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
This is like kindergarten, like why would you do this? Right?
Speaker 1 (28:48):
And so your loved ones are telepathic, right, they can
communicate so much more richly through symbols and signs. Okay,
so they really want you to pay attention to how
they're communicating. Now, in this way, you can communicate directly.
You don't need me in the room, but you do
have to quiet your mind.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
You have to get that conscious mind.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
You can't have the grocery list rolling through or the
to do list rolling through and have clarity with the
other side of the veil. Whether you want to call
that prayer, you want to call that meditation, it doesn't matter,
but get quiet and shove all.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Of the to dos out of the way for just
a little bit.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
They say ten minutes that they want ten minutes every day,
whether you call it prayer or meditation, they want you
to quiet ten minutes every day and connect with them.
And it takes practice. So the ten minutes every day
every day is what's important, because it's just like going
to the gym, right. If you practice every day, then
you can get much much better at it. So they're
(29:53):
always trying to talk to us, and they always want
to send us messages.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
And the things that we think are.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Big deals, they don't. It's all about the love. It's
all about the experience, the being together. That's what was important,
showing up for each other.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
This life incarnation whatever. Being in the monkey suit. It's tough.
There's some joy, yes, but it's tough. And we live
in this mind that never shuts up worrying about the future,
guilt about the past. What does the higher self get
by stepping in and participating.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, so, first of all, I think it's really important.
I have never ever found any evidence of forced incarnation
now one sent you here that wasn't of your soul's
own volition. So your soul always chose to be here.
Your soul chooses your mom, your soul chooses your dad.
(30:56):
We all come in with a purpose and a lesson.
So my first book in the trilogy is Finding Purpose,
surprising wisdom from the higher Self, and so we have
a purpose for being here. So when I first started QHHD,
it freaked me out how everybody's questions were the same
(31:18):
mostly and of course what is my life purpose was
on that list. And then what really freaked me out
when I started becoming more aware of the answers is
the answers were the same across people that did not
know each other. And I'm like, oh, so there's actually
a limited number or limited kinds of purpose that we
(31:38):
come into this kind of incarnation for so I actually
only found four kinds of purpose. So purpose as experience.
So there's some sort of experience that your soul wanted. Okay,
it could be an experience like to be a mom,
or to be a dad, or to be in battle,
(32:00):
to be in a war, and know what that felt like,
some sort of experience on the holow deck that you
can't get in eternity.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Second kind was to be a purpose of service.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
So this is like you're the supporting character in someone
else's incarnation, so you're here to serve their purpose, to
help them with their purpose, so you're the character player
or whatever. An example of this, of course, would be
to be the parent of a handicapped child. Okay, and
(32:33):
so the handicapped child is the primary player that soul
wanted to know, Oh what does it feel like to
not have legs and be a human? And then I'm
going to agree to be the mother of the person
that has agreed to have the experience of not having legs.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
So that's a purpose of service.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
The third kind of purpose is to have a life
purpose of being and bringing law into this dimension. So
to be able to bring in divine love, God love
into this dimension is a purpose to be the like
(33:13):
if you will.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
And then the fourth.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Kind of purpose, and this is the most frequent kind
of purpose, more than half of the over four hundred
sessions that I studied to write the book, this was
the purpose. And the purpose is to be the only
Sander that's been Sander the way you're Sandred, to be
the only holly, that's been the way this Holly has
ever been to be, to be the only you that
(33:38):
has ever been the way you are simply to be. Now,
Notice in none of those four did it have anything
to do with any of your accomplishments ever. Okay, it's
not about the accomplishments. It's about the way you be.
It's about the way you bring love, it's about how
(33:58):
you support others, or it's about the experiences that you
give yourself. That's why we incarnate. Okay, So that's first book.
What's second and third?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
The second book?
Speaker 1 (34:10):
So these were all brought to me from the Higher Self,
and I share a lot of HHC session stories, a
lot about my clients, of course, given anonymity and privacy,
but the material came to me through the Higher Self.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
So the second book is Finding Forgiveness Surprising Healing from
the Higher Self. We talked about all of that physical healing.
Most of that physical healing happens through forgiveness, and most
forgiveness is self forgiveness. And so there's aspects of self
forgiveness that we need to focus on. Now, everybody tells
(34:51):
you you need to forgive, and everybody even tells you
need to forgive yourself, but nobody tells you how how
do you forgive? And so that book is a how
to on forgiveness. It's a four step process that the
Higher Self gifted me of how to forgive. Is it
as easy as to saying I forgive myself? No, there's
(35:12):
a little more involved there. So there's a four step
process see, accept, release, and move that that book goes into,
which is the how to on forgiveness okay. And then
brand News. So the last in the trilogy they're intended
to be read together as a trilogy, is finding gratitude
(35:34):
surprising growth from the Higher Self. We come in for
soul growth through those four kinds of ways.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Right, What our soul is.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Gaining through the experience or the service or the love
or the being is growth. Your soul learns that your
soul is not omnipotent, your soul is not God, okay,
and your soul is growing and learning through these kinds
of incarnate experiences. But what I didn't realize until this
book came to me was how important living in a
(36:04):
state of gratitude transcends into that soul growth.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
So how we live while.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
We're wearing in the monkey suit translates into greater, richer,
more advanced soul growth. So you can help your soul
grow in how you show up to your life while
you're incarnate. So that's what that book's about.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
And I think gratitude is a little magic power. Also,
you've experimented, you start giving real, true gratitude for something
even before it happens, and things show up, things.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Happen, and for example, you can have gratitude for your grief.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Talk about that, because that like a punch in the face. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
Absolutely, most human experiences involve some level of.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
Pain or suffering. Right.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
The nature of a human incarnation is that of suffering,
grief being one kind of suffering. When we can even
show up to our suffering with gratitude because we've been
given the gift of life, and specifically, in grief, you've
been given the gift of love. Grief is an exhibition
of love, right, And so we can even have gratitude
(37:21):
in that moment of pain, in that moment of suffering,
and then that can help transcend that suffering into even
greater soul growth.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Nobody told you that you.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Had to incarnate, but incarnating inherently meant that you would
have experiences of suffering such as grief, showing up to
those moments of suffering in gratitude. Okay, that's not an
easy thing to do. There's some practice there. We need
to exercise our gratitude muscle to get to that point.
(37:56):
But once we have the ability to even experience our
suffers such as grief with gratitude.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Don't go anywhere. There's more powerful words with doctor Holly
Duckworth coming up. We'll be right back. You're listening to
Shades of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and Coast to
Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. Welcome back to Shades of
(38:37):
the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain and this episode is no
different than any of my others. Take what resonates with
your soul, things that would empower you to live your
best life, and adopt them for your life. If something
doesn't fit or sounds a little off, throw it away.
Each and every one of us human beings is on
(38:57):
our own personal journey in this life. Is there a
right way or a wrong way to do it? I
don't think so. There's our way. Your soul is experiencing, exploring,
and these episodes really are meant to enhance your life, educate, entertain,
(39:17):
and above and beyond anything else, let you know you
are not alone. Your life will go on. Your loved
ones are alive and you will see them again. So
let's continue with some more words and a special closing
message from doctor Holly Duckworth.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Nobody told you that you had to incarnate, but incarnating
inherently meant that you would have experiences of suffering, such
as grief. Showing up to those moments of suffering in gratitude. Okay,
that's not an easy thing to do. There's some practice there.
We need to exercise our gratitude muscle to get to
(39:57):
that point. But once we we have the ability to
even experience our suffering such as grief, with gratitude, that
means that our soul is having that sole growth experience
that it wanted through the incarnation, to a greater amplitude,
to a greater depth than it would have if we
(40:20):
were like trying to squash the suffering or run away
from the suffering, or ignore the suffering.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
We don't want to suffer. I know that, and I
also know that the greatest growth we get, or those
opportunities we have to make a difference for another all
come from our suffering and the way I look at love,
it's a huge gift to have it. When I first
heard the term the gift of grief, I wanted to
(40:47):
kill whoever. A thing came up, right, right right.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
And there is a time. From a psychology standpoint, there's
a time and a place, and so you can be
kind to yourself and allow yourself the time to be
able to process things like gratitude. If you can't get
there now, it's because it's not time to get there now.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
And that's okay. Thank you, Holly. You've given us a
lot to chew on here and to investigate and explore.
I do want to ask you about the Safe and
Sound Protocol. Talk a little bit about that.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
Yeah, So this is a therapy primarily for people that
are healing from traumatic experiences, or from trauma, or even
from diagnosed PTSD.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
So there's a lot of.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
Things that show up in our life that a lot
of us don't recognize as trauma, but it is.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
So.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
For example, scientists are beginning to now understand that add
and ADHD are actually symptoms of trauma. And so there's
lots of things. Of course, loss being one traumatic experience
in our life, and if we can think back, even
the birth process as a human is traumatic. Most of
(42:01):
us have trauma stored in our nervous system that we
may or may not be aware of. So what safe
and sound protocol it works on the nervous system. It
is a physiological healing, not a psychological healing, but it
heals the nervous system using what's called polyvagel theory. So
(42:22):
we're just using the vagus nerve to help restore the
balance and tuning of our nervous system. And all it
involves is listening to specially tuned music with over the
ear headphones that actually trigger a specific nervous system response,
a very RESTful and very relaxing nervous system response. Because
(42:44):
a lot of people that have experienced trauma in their
life beknownst to them or unbeknownst to them, what happens
is their nervous system gets stuck in fight or flight
or freeze and sees. So their nervous system gets stuck
in this repeated loop of looking for looking for the
next terrible thing to happen, for the next trauma. Their
(43:05):
body is on high alert and Eventually, when you do
this for just even a few months or few years,
the ability of your nervous system to go back into
a RESTful, relaxed state atrophies. Your body forgets how to
rest because you've spent so much time in fight or Fly.
(43:26):
This music then as a nervous system stimulator to push
your body back into that RESTful state. It's like going
to the gym for your nervous system. It's rebuilding your
body's ability, and then your nervous system can then once
that atrophy has been remedied and your body can go
(43:48):
back into that RESTful state on its own, then your
nervous system can fluidly and accurately respond to those challenges
that are in your environment.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
Interesting, is something we need to go to a therapist for?
Is it something you do? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Yeah, Now it's all remote, so you can go to
my website. You can sign up there. It's a sixteen
week program. So we listened to a small dose of
music every day over sixteen weeks, and so it's just
like going to the gym. We're going to lift some
light weights with their nervous system, and we're going to
(44:24):
lift some heavier weights and then we're going to lift
some heavier weights and we're going to get that nervous
system retuned by listening every day for just a few
minutes over a very.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Long period of time. Yeah, what kind of results do
people have?
Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yeah, I've got video testimonials and just written testimonials all
over my website. But one example is I had a
client who was almost agoraphobic. She didn't like leaving her house.
She had severe anxiety anytime she walked outside of her house.
And after the Safe and Sound program, her and her
(44:59):
husband took a occasioned to Las Vegas, of all places,
and she enjoyed it. She had fun in Las Vegas.
Like that's the transformation of her anxiety, someone who could
barely walk outside their house to someone actually having fun
in Las Vegas. I have another video testimonial of a
client that she had this unresolved anger. She didn't know
(45:21):
where it was coming from, and she just lash out
and just have these very angry responses to typical or
somewhat benign kind of things going on in her life,
and all it was just nervous system dysregulation. She got
her nervous system back healthy again, and she didn't have
(45:41):
those angry outbursts anymore. So it could be anger, it
could be depression, it could be anxiety, it could be
all sorts of unhealthy behaviors that seemed to not have
a cognitive source to them. Because this has nothing to
do with psychology, has nothing to do with what's going
on between your ear lobes. It has everything to do
(46:02):
with the nervous system and how as a mammal, our
nervous system responds before our thought processes respond. Some people
might have had experiences with talk therapy and they'll go, oh,
that didn't do any good. Well, if you're trying to
do talk therapy when your nervous system is disregulated, it
ain't going to work. We only have neuroplasticity. We're only
(46:24):
capable of learning new things when our nervous system is regulated.
So the first step in therapy is to get your
nervous system healed, and then we can go into talk
therapy and get some benefit.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
Out of it. It's really great. As human beings, we
make ourselves wrong for things, and it could be something
like that, Yeah, tell us about your website. What else
we can fund with?
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Yeah, so it's awarecaredurango dot com I do psychotherapy.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
I do QHHT. I do Safe and.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
Sound of Protocol and so QHHT appointments are usually booked
out several months in advance, so if you're looking to
have one with me, you'll have to come to Durango, Colorado.
And there are QHHT practitioners all over the world. You
can go to qhtofficial dot com and you can search
(47:17):
for practitioners by location. I'm a level three practitioner. There's
only about forty of us or so in the world,
and level three means we are certified to be practicing
exactly as Dolores Canon herself did. There's lots of other
level ones and level twos out there. I would say,
(47:38):
if you're going to a level one or level two practitioner,
ask them one question, and that is do you practice
exactly as Dolores Canon did?
Speaker 3 (47:46):
And there's only one right answer. So yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
When you go first go onto my website, the little
pop up box there will have a poster you can
download for the top ten subconscious limitations and so we
can help you work on those subconscious limitations. If you
don't have trauma, if you don't have grief in your life,
then we can there are other subconscious limitations that might
(48:10):
be keeping you from your best life ever, and we can.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Help you work through those. Wow, doctor Holly, thank you.
Last question, tap into your higher self. This could be
the only time that someone sees you or hears your voice.
They're struggling now, they're experiencing grief. What would a message
be that they can take from you for day?
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Yeah, so I would suggest connect with spirit, recognize your
own higher self. You have that connection, you have that ability,
and all it takes is a little bit of practice
every day, quieting your mind. Whether you want to call
that prayer or you want to call that meditation, it
doesn't matter what I've been told from the higher self.
(48:58):
Meditation is listening, Prayer is speaking is asking. So they're
two sides to the same coin. But it's about sitting
in silence. Sitting in mental silence for just ten minutes
a day, but every day, and connect to your own
higher self.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
Amazing, Thank you, thank you, thank you for being today. Yeah,
thank you, Sandra. It was such an honor to speak
to you and to get to share with your audience.
Doctor Holly's words about that ten minute meditation every day
really makes sense. But why is it that we fight it.
We have habits like brushing our teeth every day. Why
(49:37):
do we fight something that can quiet our mind, give
us peace, healing, and also connect us with our higher
self and our loved ones. It's like gratitude. Feels good
to be grateful, but to make it a practice. Don't
make yourself wrong. I think it's just part of the
human experience. We do the best we can. Put it
(49:57):
on your calendar. I'll do the same. You tell me
your results and I'll tell you mine. Don't forget to
come visit me atweedotdie dot com. Always good classes going on,
and of course our free Sunday gathering inspirational service with
