Sensing that came out in May. Carol, welcome back. Have
you been.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Good evening? George? Good? Great to be here, looking forward
to this.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
What's new with you?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Oh boy? Busy with mediumship readings and already have an
idea for another book.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Subject would be what.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I don't know yet? You know, it's an interesting process,
and I know we're talking about intuition to save thing.
I usually wake up, you know, in the morning, and
right away I will know when the time is right,
what I'm going to write about, and that there's no
making that happen before it happens. So that's how all
(01:16):
my books have come to me, you know, through the
intuitive process and sort of you know, through knowing the
same way with the art of sensing and came to
me the same way to help people really understand who
they are at a soul level.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
What is the soul, Carol? To you, what does it mean?
Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's the eternal, inextinguishable light of the divine or consciousness,
the divine consciousness within each being. And I would include
animals in that too, George, because animals are definitely sentient.
(02:07):
They have an awareness, oftentimes I think an awareness that's
superior to ours because they don't focus on the past
and they don't focus on the future. They're in the
present moment, and that is the soul's primary awareness is
in the present moment, right here, right now. So the
(02:32):
soul is it's contained within this vehicle that we call
the body, and we know that when we die, we're
going to leave the body behind, but the soul travels
then to its natural home, and that home is you know,
what people call the spirit world or some people call heaven.
(02:56):
I call it the spirit world, and there continue with
our evolution and our growth.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Does the soul show emotion, Carol?
Speaker 3 (03:12):
In my experience of thirty years of doing readings with
medium show, I often communicate emotions of the spirit communicator. However,
that's because their consciousness is entering into this dimension, so
they sort of radiate how they were in life in
(03:36):
physical life. But the soul itself, really, in my experience,
does not have emotion, because emotion is really from our
rational mind and from our ego. The soul is really
vibrating at a level that's above that.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
So it doesn't really make decisions as we would think
of that.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Right, well, I believe that it does. And let me
explain that it makes decisions and I'll put that in
quotes based on its own evolution. So that is the
(04:26):
reason that we are here. That's the only reason that
we are here, being in physical reality is to evolve
through what this level of consciousness offers. And the primary
thing that it offers is duality. And this is where
(04:48):
we're standing today in a very dealistic place, particularly in
the United States. The soul doesn't know anything about, you know,
being bad or wrong. It simply knows to express itself.
(05:11):
And in order to do that we have to get
our mind or rationality. We have to transcend that, we
have to get those two things out of the way.
So in essence, it does make a decision the decision
to radiate that divine frequency that's within every human being.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Does the soul move by the guidance of the human
body or is it the other way around. Does the
soul guide the human body?
Speaker 3 (05:47):
The soul guides the body. But importantly, you know, we
all have a personality, and that's what makes us unique,
and that's what makes us the individual who we are.
The personality often just being a human being, we often
(06:08):
have it reversed. We make the personality primary, and we
make the personality, you know, central to our life until
we awaken. We've all heard this concept of spiritual awakening.
The awakening means that now the soul is in charge.
(06:32):
The soul I hate to use the word dominates, but
I would say, you know, it leads the way. And
you know, if we do that, and that's why I
wrote this book to help people understand how to do that,
How to allow their soul instead of the personality the body,
(06:58):
you know, thinking, how to let the soul lead the way.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And in many cases, does it influence the rest of us,
what's inside of us?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yes, I believe that it does. Everything that I write
about in the books that I've written, and I do
in media interviews are from my personal experience, and so
everything that I say is from what I have personally
observed with thousands and thousands of people who have done
(07:36):
readings for and yeah there, I mean, the awakening happens
when we make the personality sort of a servant, if
you will, to the soul, the soul leading the way
or being in charge.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Now, how does intuition into this.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
My definition of intuition, and I know a lot of
people have talked about intuition and written about it. My
definition of it is that it is the literal voice
of the soul, and it is how the soul communicates
(08:23):
to us. And interestingly, it's often illogical because it doesn't
follow the dictates of the rational mind, and so oftentimes
it's going to feel, you know, very strange or illogical
(08:45):
and not making sense to us. But that's because it
doesn't operate in linear reality. It operates in a greater
unlimited reality than our minds.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Does the soul determine whether we do things right or wrong?
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I would say so, because once you really open up intuition,
and you do not have to be a medium or
psychic or you know, a spiritual teacher to do that
this is for everybody, and once you do that, you
(09:33):
it becomes sort of your your guidance through challenging times.
That's why I named the book, you know what I did,
because we're all, you know, aside from what's going on
here in the outer world, each of us will navigate
through challenges in life. You know, the death of a
(09:55):
loved one, maybe the end of a relationship, you know,
losing a job, a serious illness. These are all things
that we share, you know, throughout life, most of us.
So following the intuition, allowing the intuition to guide us
(10:19):
through that without really questioning it. That's where I think
we get stuck, is that we question why this is happening,
whatever it is, you know, whatever this is, and you know,
thinking that it's never going to end, whatever suffering or
(10:43):
disappointment we might be in. But the soul knows more
than that. The soul knows that things have to end
for beginnings to take place. And that's where we can
really in our suffering, uh, you know, be more helpful
(11:04):
to ourselves following that that intuitive urge the voice of
the soul.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
What does the soul look like, Carol?
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Well, yeah, George I've never drawn one.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
I've always been curcious about that.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, well, you know, because it's formless. It really doesn't
have form. I mean, you know, we think of you know,
looking at something that it's taking on a form, but
the soul is really form less. So it's energetic in
(11:50):
nature because.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
You really can't see it, right, that's correct.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
But we can feel it. That's the important thing is
to not see it, but to be able to feel
it and to sense it.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
It's remarkable. And when it leaves our body and we're
still alive, what happens.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Well, you know, in the earlier books of It and
I talk about the passage of transition, and I also
dedicated an entire chapter in the Art of Sensing, it's
called the Bridge. You know what does that mean, Well,
it means transition from one state of being to another.
(12:45):
Death is one of those. Death is the transition that
we're going to make from being here on the earth
to you know, into the world of the formless. So
it's much you know, like leaving old clothing behind, discarding it,
(13:07):
you know, coming out of our skin, so to speak,
and we go to that place in which we're going
to have and I know there's many, many people who
have talked about this, but it is really true, and
that is the life review. The life review.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Meaning from the time we come in as the tiny
infant to the time that we exit upon death, and
we see and feel an experience every single thing that
we've done from that time frame.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Which is kind of mind blowing when you consider that,
it's like a grain of sand on the beach. That's
how minimal one lifetime is in the entirety of the soul.
And so when we put it in perspective like that,
(14:03):
I think that that also helps to diminish, you know,
what we're going through, that that might be painful at
the time, and instead, you know, looking at the entirety
of how we're doing on a on a soul level,
we're following, you know, what the soul has indicated that
(14:27):
the pathway is. And then from there, I mean, upon death,
after we have that life assessment, which by the way,
stays with us. I've talked on your show many times
about the acashk Files, the Acashic records, and I know,
(14:49):
you know other people have come on and talked about
that too. I've written extensively about the Acashic Files so
all of that is contained within that and and we
are assigned to our sole group in the spirit world,
and from there we do study and you know, healing
(15:10):
and participation in things that are in the formless world.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Does the soul give us personality or not?
Speaker 3 (15:22):
The personality is chosen by the soul before incarnation. And
I know that a lot of people find that, maybe
you know, difficult to comprehend because we sometimes look at
our personality as well. You know, I'm similar to my mother,
(15:42):
my father or whomever in our family, And yes, there
are elements of that, but you're absolutely correct. The soul
does choose the personality based upon what it needs to
accomplish when it's here in the physical play, and it's
(16:07):
very carefully selected for purposes of again, advancement and evolution.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
If you had the ability to talk to a soul,
which you probably do anyway, would you do it.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
All the time?
Speaker 2 (16:30):
What do you ask it?
Speaker 3 (16:35):
So when I do readings for people, and I mean,
this is probably the best example I can give, there's
a merging that takes place. What do I mean, well,
a blending of that soul in spirit with my soul. Otherwise,
(16:55):
the phenomenon mediumship could not occur. It would be impossible.
But the blending of the two souls is a process
of my becoming aware of the consciousness because it's now
blended with mine of that communicating soul. So I don't
(17:20):
ask a soul anything when I'm doing mediumship. I simply
it's a process of becoming aware of that of that
soul's totality of experience. In a mediumship reading, it would
be from you know, the most recent incarnation. You can
(17:44):
get in touch with all sorts.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
Of things if you do hypnosis and you know, modalities
like that, But in mediumship readings, it's an awareness of
the totality of the consciousness that that soul has experienced.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
In the life that they led when they were here.
