a mother, Carol Lorusso and the incredible signs she had
with her son Adam, also the terminal lucidity she witnessed

with her mother's passing, and more. And on our last
segment together, I have a very special meditation for you.

still a part of your life even though you can't

you about Carol. She's the author of the moving and
hope filled book called My Journey into the Afterlife to
Find My Son. Now, Carol is an older lady and
she's new to do it interviews, so the sound quality

to read to you some of the most powerful words
she said, as this was an interview unlike anything I

had ever heard before, with all the signs she's received,
Carol's connection to the afterlife, like so many of ours,
truly began with grief. She shared with me that her
father was the first person she was deeply close to
who passed away. She was only twenty four and her
son Adam was just a baby. The loss hit her hard.
(02:53):
Carol told me, I lost a lot of weight. I
am five foot eight, and I went down to one
hundred and eleven pounds because it was my first heartache
with grief. And then I had a dream about Dad.
And in the dream, he was holding little Adam up
in the air, and he was younger and his face
was brightly illuminated. He was in my parents' living room
(03:16):
and he turned around and looked at me. He was
so happy, and I said, Dad, you're back. Promise me
you will never ever leave me again. Please promise me that.
He said, sweetheart, I'm here, I'm always watching over you,
and I will never leave you again. What a beautiful
(03:37):
and comforting dream. But Carol's connection didn't stop there. She
was new to all of this, and like many of us,
she sought out more understanding. She was working in a
hospital at the time and her friends were all going
to see a local psychic. Carol said, I was talked
into going to see this psychic I sat down and said,
(04:00):
name is Carol. The psychic was actually quite wonderful. She
talked about my dad. She said, you have someone who
passed very dear to you. It's your father. He's formed
a protective shield around you. He loves you so much
that if somebody ever tries to hurt you, it'll bounce
off that shield and it can never touch you. That
(04:21):
beginning experience gave Carol a level of confidence, and then
some years later, her father in law Tim passed away.
Her boy Adam was just six years old, and once
again a profound comforting dream came to her. She told me,
in the wintertime in Massachusetts, my father in law wore
a navy blue wool hat, and outside Adam, with his
(04:46):
winter coat would wear a matching navy blue wool hat. Well,
in my dream, I walked into my son, Adam's childhood home.
I walked into the first bedroom and I could actually
feel the blue sh bag rug under my feet. There
in Adam's bed was my father in law sitting next
(05:06):
to Adam. Adam was fast asleep and he had his
arms around him. And I said, Dad, are you happy?
And he said, Carol, yes, go back and tell them
I am happier than I've ever been. That one line
is powerful. Go back and tell them. It shows that
her father in law knew she was a visitor and
(05:27):
that she was there for a moment and had to
return to this world. As Carol told me, a psychic
friend later explained to her, you have the ability to
go to heaven and meet them in your dreams. You
think they're coming to you, But Carol, we go to them.
And that little piece of message was her proof. These experiences,
(05:49):
these vivid dreams and messages, Carol said, we're building a
foundation of knowing for her. But the next experience, she shared,
is a story of what we call terminal lucidity. Carol's
mom had suffered multiple strokes, and as Carol explained, my
mother's mind was gone. Carol said, she hadn't known my
(06:12):
dear husband, Paul or Adam, or myself, my sister or
brother in law, or their children for many weeks. Carol
was heartbroken. She wanted one more chance to connect, one
more moment to tell her mother how much she loved her.
She said, on a Saturday, I prayed to God and
to my dad all day. Daddy, if you can come
(06:36):
down and meet me from heaven and bring mommy back,
just for one more time. I need to tell her
that she was the best mom anyone could have had.
I need to be able to hold her and have
her understand the love that I appreciate she gave me.
So what happened next shows the power of love and
the reality of our loved ones and spirit. Carol said, well,
(06:59):
we walked into her hospital room, Sandra, and it was
a miracle. Mom was sitting up in bed. She greeted me,
she said, I love you. We hugged each other. She
then hugged Adam and Paul, completely recognizing them. This was incredible.
It wasn't a vague hello. This was a woman who
(07:19):
was unresponsive for weeks suddenly engaging in a complex, thoughtful
conversation about all the things we'd been doing. She remembered everything,
She recognized everyone, She expressed love. She even made a
joke about her son in law needing more light to
read his newspaper. The miracle continued. Carol said, that conversation
(07:43):
began and I said, you're the best mother a girl
could hope for. And she said, well, I've had two
wonderful daughters. My goodness, When I think of what's happening
in some families today. We have had a wonderful family life.
It was a joyful visited with memories. Mom was lucid.
After that beautiful, impossible visit, Carol went home and called
(08:07):
her sister Rita to tell her the good news, saying,
I think Mommy's going to be okay. I think she's recovered.
But the story takes a turn, one that proves just
how special that single visit was. Carol explained. Rita called
me later that evening and she said, I have no
doubt what you're telling me is the truth. I just
(08:28):
don't know how it happened because we found her as
before not knowing any of us, and in our future
visits before she died, she didn't know us either. This
is the key. The miracle was contained in that one
single visit. It's what they call terminal lucidity, showing that
the mind isn't in the brain. It was a window
(08:50):
that opened up just long enough in direct response to
Carol's prayer to give her that final, perfect moment of
connection with her mom. This story proved what researchers are
now documenting, consciousness is not just a byproduct of the brain.
Carol's mother's brain was severely damaged, but her spirit, her essence,
(09:12):
was still perfectly whole. Carol later asked a psychic about
what happened that day. The woman told her, picture yourself.
You climbed up the stairs to heaven in your spirit
and your soul. Your father's soul came down met you
in the window of the afterlife, and the love you
both had from mom brought her back well. Carol just
(09:35):
described that incredible, miraculous return of her mother's personality is
a well documented phenomena. Some hospice nurses call it rallying.
If you'd like to hear a lot of these stories,

and nurses have seen for centuries. A patient who has
been unresponsive, maybe for weeks or even years, due to
Alzheimer's or severe brain damage, will suddenly wake up, just
like Carol's mom. They become completely clear, lucid, and back
to their old selves. They'll recognize their family, share meaningful conversations,

and express love, often just a few hours or days
before they pass away. For me, this is one of
the most powerful pieces of evidence that we have that
our mind is not just in our brain. How can
a person's personality and memories return in full even when
their physical brain is damaged beyond repair. It's a miracle
(10:44):
that shows us that the human spirit is whole, intact,
and just waiting to shine through. What causes it. We're
not quite sure, but here are some beautiful words by
philosopher Pierre Tallard date Chardin. He wrote, Love is the
most universal, the most tremendous, and the most mysterious of
(11:05):
cosmic forces. Love alone is capable of uniting living beings
in such a way as to complete and fulfill them,
for it alone takes them and joins them by what
is deepest in themselves. We don't know exactly why terminal
lucidity happens, but we know it's real, and we also
(11:27):
know that love is the force that can create miracles.
So this experience solidified Carol's knowing. She had proof from
her own life that love never dies, and this foundation
of knowing this certainty would be so important for the
journey that was to come, a journey that would test
her in a way. She could have never imagined that
(11:48):
being the loss of her beloved son Adam. When we
come back, all share Carol's words of the massive amounts
of signs and evidence she received from Adam, proving that
our loved ones are always with us and just a
thought away. Also, I want to give you this thought
to ponder. Carol's story shows us how love can reach
(12:12):
through what is often called the veil. So during the break,
why not imagine that veil between this life and the afterlife.
How is it possible that they can see us and
we cannot see them? Are they part of our world
or are we simply part of theirs, just living behind

a thin curtain for just a little while. What if
the only thing separating us isn't distance or time, but
just our perception. That question is exactly what we're going

I'm Sandra Champlain. Before the break, we heard the first
part of Carol Larusso's incredible journey. We heard about those beautiful,
comforting dreams she had. In fact, she went on to
tell me later she's had more and more of them,
extremely vivid. And of course that story of the mother's
terminal lucidity. How just before dying, people even if their
(13:53):
brains have been completely shut down due to dementia or
Alzheimer's or brain damage, can come fully back to life
just for a brief time, making such a difference for
the loved ones. This terminal lucidity really does prove that
when the person we love is dying, but they themselves
their whole and intact, their spirit is one hundred percent there.
(14:17):
So Carol needed this foundation that knowing that her father
was watching over her, her father in law too, and
her mother's spirit was whole because what no mother could
ever imagine was the loss of her beloved son and
only child, Adam. Adam passed away at just thirty five
years old from complications of sepsis, which his body couldn't
(14:40):
fight because of a medication he was on. The loss
was and is unimaginable to anyone, including mom Carol. But
Carol told me that immediately after Adam passed the signs
from the afterlife, while, as she put it, they seem
to go into high octane. The spirit world seemed to
know that Carol was open to connection, and Adam, now
(15:03):
free and powerful, began to make his presence known in
some very astonishing ways. One of the very first and
most direct signs she received happened right in her kitchen.
She told me that there was a light that had
actually burnt out and hadn't worked for months. One day,
standing right under that burnt out light, she was overwhelmed
(15:24):
with grief. She was looking up and said, I miss you, Adam.
I love you. In that exact instant, the light, the
one that was burnt out for months, flashed on and
off three times, blinking. Carol was stunned. Of course, she
had to know, so she spoke out loud and said,
(15:44):
is that you, Adam? Is that really you? She then
created a system right there on the spot. She said, Adam,
one blink means yes, two blinks mean no. She asked again, Adam,
is that you? The light blinked. Once her heart was founding,
(16:06):
she then said, I love you, and the light blink back.
I love you. In their new code, Carol told me
that she and Adam still communicate through that burnt out
light all the time. Now, let's just pause and think
about that. This isn't a random flicker or a power surge.
This is a light that was dead coming to life
(16:29):
only in direct response to Carol's words. It's an intelligent
two way conversation. It's a hello from heaven. But Adam
wasn't done. He soon gave her a sign that was bigger.
Carol and her husband Paul were at home, deep in
their grief, watching the film Mister Holland's Opus. As the
(16:50):
film played, John Lennon's beautiful, heartbreaking song called Beautiful Boy
came on. Carol and Paul just sat there, listening to
the words and crying, thinking of their own beautiful boy, Adam,
And in that peak moment of love and sorrow, the
house seemed to come alive. Carol said that all the
(17:11):
electronics went on and off at once. The radio went
on and off, the TV went on and off. The
lights in the room were flashing on and off. And
it wasn't a flicker, it wasn't a power outage. It
was an electrical symphony. It was as if Adam was
using every ounce of his spiritual energy and saying I'm
(17:34):
right here with you, Mom and Dad, I hear you,
I feel your love, I'm with you. In this moment,
Carol and her husband Paul burst into tears, but this
time they knew there were tears of recognition. They knew
their beautiful Adam was seated right there with them. The
electrical signs kept coming, and then they moved from electrical
to physical. Sometime later, Carol's husband Paul had hip surgery
(18:00):
and a physical therapist was coming to the house. Carol
was sitting on the couch watching the session. The therapist
turned to her and said, I'm so happy you're the
type of wife who can sit right through all of
his exercises with him, so you can learn and help him.
The very second she finished that sentence, all the electronics
in the room did their symphony again, flashing on and off.
(18:21):
To Carol, it was as if Adam was saying, that's right,
you're doing a great job, mom. But that wasn't all. Carol,
still amazed, looked down at the couch cushion right next
to her. There where nothing had been a second before,
was a single, perfectly shaped, pure white feather. She told me.
(18:42):
It appeared out of nowhere. She picked it up, knew
in her heart it was from Adam, acknowledged the sign,
and now she continues to find them everywhere, but this
first one. It's what many call apports, a physical object
that materializes from the spirit world into our own. It's
(19:03):
one of the most tangible and undeniable forms of evidence
our loved ones can't give us. This reminds me of
a story from my friend Rob. He asked his deceased
loved ones for dimes, and what he thought would be
when he was walking, he'd see some dimes and he'd
know it was from that loved one. However, the loved
(19:25):
one took it one step further, and I call these apports.
Rob rented a car and when he got out of
the seat there were dimes on the seat. Not only that,
he was sitting on an airplane, and when he got
off the seat in the airplane there were dimes. And
in a hotel room after he had checked in, after
(19:47):
he had taken a shower, he goes back into the
bathroom and there are dimes in the tub. Now back
to Carol and Adam. Adam also uses birds in incredible
ways Carol shared the next story about his first birthday
after he had passed. She said, I couldn't let his
birthday go by without celebrating Adam. So we all sang
(20:10):
Happy Birthday to Adam. On the back bumper of my
friend's van. A big raven came and sat on the
back and looked at each one of us like it
was speaking to us. It shook loudly, met each one
of us directly looking into our eyes, and then it
flew away. We were stunned. Then fifteen minutes later it
(20:35):
came back and did the exact same thing, and this
was no ordinary bird. Later Carol had a reading with
a medium who verified the bird. She said, Oh, my god,
your son Adam is here, and he's talking about the
raven that came and spoke to you on the beach.
(20:56):
He had put his soul into that raven to join
you all for the birthday party. He was there to
celebrate with you. The signs from birds became even more direct.
Carol told me about a time she was feeling low
and specifically asked Adam for a sign. She said, one morning,
we woke up and I said, Adam, it's been a
(21:18):
little while since I had a sign from you, Can
you send me one today? She told me that when
Adam was sick, she would often play the song on
Eagle's Wings for him and whisper, someday you're going to
soar like an eagle. After asking for that sign, she
and Paul were driving to a state park. All of
(21:40):
a sudden, she said, this beautiful, huge eagle, a bald
eagle with a white head and feathers, was so close
to me. It landed on the front hood of our car.
Its golden eyes looked me right in my eyes. It
had one wing up to the sky. It stared at
(22:00):
me and then flew up to the sky. My husband
and I we were stunned, looked at each other. Did
that just happen? And I knew it was not a coincidence.
When does a bald eagle land on a car? That
was a direct, specific and beautiful answer to her request.
(22:21):
She also shares that cardinals come to her home all
the time, but they don't just land in the trees.
They come knocking on her window just to let her
know that they're near. And it's not just about birds,
it's music too. Carol told me about another vacation she
was feeling Adam's presence, and just as she was exiting
(22:41):
her breakfast spot, she said, Adam, if you're here with
us on vacation, give me a sign. She continues, We
then walked into a gift shop. She said that Adam
was a big fan of the singer Donna Summer. As
soon as I walked in, on the radio by Donna
Summer started to play. This was a song that she
(23:04):
and Adam used to dance to all the time. Again,
an immediate, personal, an undeniable sign for her that he
had heard her. But all of these signs are so personal,
so powerful to Carol. But the next one, she shared
is verifiable in another way. It involves her godchild, Her niece, Katie,
(23:26):
was very sick with an autoimmune disease. Carol, using her
blinking light system, had a long talk with Adam. She
asked him, Adam, is Katie going to make it or
is she going to join you in heaven soon? The
answer she got back from the light was clear. Caro
believes Adam told her, Mommy, She's already halfway here in
(23:49):
heaven with me and with all of her loved ones.
The very next day, Katie passed away, But the story
doesn't end there. After Katie's past, Carol learned something incredible.
She found out that before Katie died, she had an
experience with Adam. She was in her house when she
(24:11):
suddenly saw Adam in her room. But he was different.
She said. He was taller than his six foot three
inch frame. He was almost seven feet tall, and he
was wearing a long white gown. And this, this is
the detail that gives me goosebumps. Katie said that Adam
(24:32):
was holding a little beagle dog by a leash, and
he was walking her through the house. Here's the thing.
Carol never told her that the beagle, Mollie, was their
family dog, but they had gotten Mollie after Adam had
passed away. Adam in his physical life had never met
(24:54):
that dog. Katie in that moment, seeing her beautiful vision
before passing of her cousin and that little dog, she
grabbed her cellphone and she took a picture of what
she was seeing. Carol told me that they have that picture.
To her, it looks like an X ray image of
her son, Adam, taller than life, in a white gown,
(25:17):
holding the leash of a little dog, the dog he
met in the Afterlife. We'll be right back with more

the powerful and personal signs Carol received from her son
Adam after he had passed. The blinking light that communicated
I love you, the house full of electronics flashing on
and off at the exact moments she and her husband
were grieving for him, the white feather that appeared out
(26:18):
of thin air and continued to do so, And most incredibly,
the verifiable photograph taken by her niece Katie before she passed,
showing Adam and spirit holding the family dog, Mollie, a
dog he had never met in this life. These signs
are personal, they're direct, They're undeniable. Although I haven't seen
her picture and I didn't get those signs, a mother knows.
(26:43):
We human beings know when it is that our loved
ones are communicating with us, and no one can take
those away from us. But the universe wasn't done providing
this evidence to Carol. The next set of validations she
received came from meeting. The details they provided were specific
for Carol personal, and to her, impossible for them to
(27:06):
know that they serve as independent proof that Carol's connection
with Adam is real. Carol shared a story with me
about a medium named Aurora. It happened in an ordinary place,
she said. We met in an ice cream parlor. Rora said,
I'm pleased to meet you. She said, oh my word,
(27:27):
there's a young man around you. He goes by Adama
in heaven. Adama. Carol said that when she heard that name,
she almost fell over. You see, Adama was a special,
private nickname. She explained. When Adam was little, my brother
in law, Ronnie said to Adam, I'm going to call
(27:50):
you a Dama. And then when Adam was older, going
to a dance or a nightclub, I'd hear him in
the bathroom and he'd be saying to himself, looking good, Adama.
So when that medium said in the ice cream parlor,
he goes by Adama in heaven, not knowing his name
was Adam, I was amazed. The validation didn't stop there.
(28:13):
The medium continued painting a perfect picture of her son.
Carol said. She told me he's a teacher in heaven.
That he loves children, he could communicate with older people,
and that he loves animals. That he was a basketball
player and made everybody feel hope, and when you got
(28:33):
a hug from Adam, that he always tapped you twice
on the back. Every single detail she said about Adam
was correct. He was always helping people in life, so
it makes sense that Adam is a teacher in spirit
and in life. He was a gifted basketball player. And
that two tap hug that was his signature move. She said,
(28:55):
something only his family would know. Carol and her husband
got another powerful confirmation when they were least expecting it.
They were on a ghost tour in Okalla, Florida. Carol explained,
the woman who led the ghost tour she just knew
us from the ghost tours as Carol and Paul. That's
all she knew. She didn't even know our last names.
(29:17):
And we were talking about orbs and she kept looking
at me and smiling, saying she was looking at my aura.
And I said, what is it you see? You keep smiling?
The woman said, I see a beautiful angel around you.
You have a beautiful angel surrounding you, and when I
(29:37):
look at you, his light is so bright that I'm blinded.
I also hear the dribble of a basketball. There's the
basketball again. Carol and Paul were amazed. Of course, this
woman couldn't have known that Adam played basketball his entire life.
Carol shared with me that they had sent him to
summer camp with one of the players for the Boss
(30:00):
in Celtics. He was able to sink twenty out of
twenty baskets from the foul line. He was the kid who,
in the final moments of a game, sunk a three
pointer from across the court and he was carried off
on his teammate's shoulders. He loved that basketball, she said.
He was a little boy who would even carry his
(30:20):
basketball with him to soccer practice. The final story from
Mediums that Carol shared with me is when her and
her husband went to one of the live events of
medium Matt Frasier's. They were in a huge audience of
two hundred people. Carol told me, when he divided the
room in two, he walked down the middle. He said
(30:42):
to me, you in the pink dress, you are so
receptive to getting signs from the afterlife, and you know
they're from heaven when you get them. He said, the
spirits around you are driving me crazy, wanting me to
talk to you. Matt Fraser then proceeded to bring through
care girl's whole family with stunning accuracy. He talked about
(31:04):
her father being an accountant, seeing him at the kitchen
table with his ledger. He brought through her funny father
in law, Tim, and even knew that he had done
vaudeville at one time. He said, the two fathers are
bringing a son. It's your son, Adam, And then in
that moment he started to choke. He felt like the
(31:25):
tube was inserted down Adam. When Adam had a respiratory arrest,
his mother, who's also a psychic, ran to get him
some water, and he said, I'm fine. It's just that
your son is very, very powerful in heaven, letting me
know what he felt. The medium had physically taken on
(31:45):
the very specific traumatic medical event of Adam's passing, but
then Adam used the connection to send his parents the
most healing message he possibly could. Carol told me what
Matt said next was telling me when he passed away
that you and your husband did everything, and he knows
(32:06):
you didn't leave his side those entire four days. And afterwards,
when he was signing his book, I said, Matt, I'm
sorry that happened, and he said, don't be I'm fine.
It's your son, who is extremely powerful in heaven. That
made me feel what he felt when he passed. Having
(32:27):
a good evidential medium reading is certainly very healing for
those who are grieving. So these experiences, the dreams, the
high octane signs, I Love the Eagle, the verifiable mediumship
have all taught Carol so much, not just about the afterlife,
but how to live this life. The most important lessons
(32:48):
she shared with me were about forgiveness and how to
raise our own vibration to be able to feel that
connection for ourselves. She told me another story from a
about her husband's uncle George, who had been tragically shot
and killed during a robbery. The medium told her that
(33:08):
Uncle George had come through with a message for her.
Carol said, he wants me to tell you that when
he crossed over into heaven, he forgave the young men
who had killed him because he was able to see
the horrible lives they had lived. What a beautiful message
(33:29):
that someone could actually forgive the ones who had killed him.
This shaped Carol's own outlook. She told me, I want
to talk about forgiveness. Don't let any baggage weigh you down.
Anybody who's listening right now, forgive freely. That doesn't mean
you have to have a relationship with that person, but
(33:51):
do forgive them. If you forgive and you don't want
to continue with a relationship, what I do. I put
their name on a sheet of paper and I give
it to God and say I forgive you, and I
love you as God loves you. And then I just
rip up that piece of paper so you too can
(34:11):
free yourself of that baggage. She told me that her
son Adam, reminds her over and over again of the
key to this connection. As she said, Adam tells me
what's going to save the earth is kindness, compassion, and love.
So I asked her, for all of those listening who
(34:32):
want to feel all those amazing signs, those dreams, that connection,
who want to have these experiences, what can we do?
How can we each up our frequency to meet our
loved ones halfway? Her answer was beautiful and simple. In fact,
you just ask them. She said, just simply ask them,
(34:55):
say I love you, I miss you. Can you send
me some signs? Means, can you join me in a dream?
Can you flicker the lights on and off? And then
free yourself of the baggage? Don't have any anger in
your life when you ask. She told me her own
practice is to go outside every morning, talk to your
(35:16):
loved ones and ask for signs. But the real key,
she says, it's how you live the rest of the day.
Carol said, lead a life, lead with love. Say you're
in a restaurant and the waitress is having a busy time,
make sure to tell her I appreciate you so much today,
thank you for the wonderful service. I go out every day,
(35:40):
Carol says, thinking how I can make somebody's life better
by a compliment, just by showing them that they're there,
that they're listened to, they're important, and that they're seen.
And that's what we all need to do to raise
our vibration. Let go of baggage, be forgiving, be kind,
(36:00):
and be compassionate. And one of the best gifts you
can give is to be a good listener. What a
beautiful message to raise our own vibration by living a
life of kindness, forgiveness, and love. Not only does it
make our time here on Earth better, but it opens
the door to feel that connection with our loved ones.
(36:23):
Love is the key. And it's interesting from all the
near death experiences that I've heard, they too, say that
the key to our lives now is forgiveness, kindness, service,
and love. And isn't it interesting for anyone who has
studied the major world religions? What are the most important principles? Compassion, charity, gratitude, honesty, truth,
(36:54):
not doing harm, unconditional love, and forgiveness? What do you
think about all that? They sure are simple words to say,
aren't they? But they may be not so easy to do.
But isn't that why we're here on planet Earth souls

having a human experience, learning, forgiving, loving, investigating all of this,
And for myself, I'm wondering, if I can take on
more of those values and qualities, will that raise my
vibration for more signs to appear in better communication with

live in an old town and I often thought it
would be great to put on a pair of glasses
to transport me back in time to see what the
town looked like two hundred years ago. And that got
me thinking about the veil between this life and the
(38:45):
world our loved ones live in the hereafter. I one
hundred percent believe we are part of their world and
they are just vibrating too fast so we cannot see them.
But what if we had a pair of glasses that
would allow us to see into their world. This is
(39:06):
a journey into our imagination, and as we know, our
imagination is the language of the soul. Any great medium
will tell you that when they surrender to the spirit world,
the evidence they bring through appears just like their imagination,
as if the spirit folks treat our minds like a
(39:27):
blank canvas to paint on I'd like to guide you
through a gentle meditation, a simple journey, using this language
of the soul and the gateway for spirit. So if
you are in a safe, quiet space, I invite you
to close your eyes. Let's begin by taking a few deep,
(39:50):
healing breaths, breathing in slowly, and as you do, you
can imagine, if you'd like you're breathing in pure, peaceful
white light, hold it for just a moment and exhale,
letting go of all of the worries and all of
(40:10):
the stress of the day. You can do that one
more time, a deep breath in, filling your lungs with
peace and calm, and a long, slow breath out, just
letting go. Now, just allow your breathing to return to
(40:35):
its natural, easy rhythm. I want you to bring your
awareness to your body. Imagine that a warm golden light
starts at the very tip of your toes and relaxes
them completely. You can feel this warmth move up into
(40:58):
your feet and into your ankles and into your legs,
melting any tension. It moves up into your knees and
into your thighs. Your legs feel so heavy, so relaxed,
(41:23):
and let that warm, peaceful light fill your hips, and
your stomach, and your chest all the way up to
your shoulders. Just let them droop as all of the
tension just dissolves, and feel it flowed down into your arms,
(41:47):
through your elbows, into your forearms, into the wrists, all
the way down to the tips of your fingers. Now
feel that warmth to move up your neck, relaxing all
(42:07):
the little muscles It move into your head, softening your jaw,
your cheeks, your forehead, and even the tiny muscles around
your eyes. Your entire body now is held in this beautiful, safe,
(42:31):
golden light, feeling completely at peace, with not a care
in the world. Now in this beautiful, peaceful state, I
want you to imagine in your mind's eye a small,
beautiful box sitting right in front of you. It can
(42:53):
look any way you wish. Perhaps it's an antique wooden box,
or just a simple gift box tied with a ribbon.
It's a gift from your soul to you in your mind.
Reach out and open the lid, and inside, resting on
the softest velvet, is a pair of special glasses. These
(43:17):
are your glasses. They might look like antique reading glasses,
or might look a little more modern, or maybe something
you've never seen before. It doesn't matter. These are your
afterlife glasses, a tool to help you see and hear
beyond the veil that normally keeps us from seeing our
(43:39):
loved ones. Gently in your mind, pick up these glasses,
feel their weight in your hands, and now slowly lift
them and put them on. As you do, the world
behind your closed eye begins to shift. The darkness softens,
(44:05):
it becomes brighter, more vibrant. You realize that you are
in a space that is both here and there, almost
like a beautiful waiting room with a couch or a
bench or two chairs. The veil in front of you thins,
becoming as soft and light as a mist. With these
(44:30):
glasses on, you have one simple job to feel love.
I want you to think of that one loved one
that you miss so much. Just bring them to your mind,
feel the love you have for them. Now, think of
(44:55):
a favorite memory with them that brings you joy and
from your heart, just send out the thought I am here,
I am open to seeing you. I love you. Now
(45:17):
just sit in this beautiful safe space and notice you
don't have to try. Just be open with your special
glasses on. You might begin to feel a gentle touch
on your arm, or a familiar warmth right next to you.
(45:39):
You might smell their perfume or cologne. You might hear
them whisper your name, or just hear the sound of
their laugh. Or with your new eyes, you might see
a flicker of light off to the side, or you
(46:01):
might see them standing right in front of you, or
sitting on the couch beside you, healthy and smiling, exactly
however you wish to remember them. Just be here in
(46:23):
this moment with them. I will be quiet for a
little while so you can have this time to hug
and to hold and talk with them. Know that this
(47:25):
connection is real, Know that this love is real. That
they are not gone. They are right here, just on
the other side of what we can normally see. You
don't need the waiting room, and you don't need the glasses.
(47:46):
They tell you they are always a part of your
life and will never leave you. That they can multitask
on their side of life as they continue to learn
and grow and experience. But with thought, they're easily right
back with you. Feel their love for you, just as
(48:10):
you feel your love for them. Give them a hug
and feel them hugging you right back, and now gently
it's time to come back. Thank your loved one for
this beautiful moment. Know that this connection is always available
(48:36):
to you. You can practice this connection whenever you like,
for as long as you like. Slowly in your mind's eye,
take the special glasses off and place them back in
their beautiful safe box. Close the knowing you can return
(49:02):
to them anytime you wish. Now bring your attention slowly
back to your body, back to the chair you're sitting on,
or back to your bed, back to the room you
are in. Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
(49:29):
Take one more deep cleansing breath in, and as you exhale,
bring that feeling of peace and connection back with you.
And when you are ready, and only when you're ready,
you can slowly open your eyes, or you can just
(49:51):
stay in this gentle, peaceful state. Remember that your loved
ones are only a thought away, always loving and supporting you.

episode today, I'd like to share some powerful words by
a mother, Carol Lorusso and the incredible signs she had
with her son Adam, also the terminal lucidity she witnessed

with her mother's passing, and more. And on our last
segment together, I have a very special meditation for you.
What if you could put on a pair of special
glasses and see your loved ones and how much there's
still a part of your life even though you can't
see them with your physical eyes. First, let me tell
(01:46):
you about Carol. She's the author of the moving and
hope filled book called My Journey into the Afterlife to
Find My Son. Now, Carol is an older lady and
she's new to do it interviews, so the sound quality
of the recording isn't good enough for me to play
for you. But the stories are just too incredible to
(02:09):

to read to you some of the most powerful words
she said, as this was an interview unlike anything I
(02:30):
had ever heard before, with all the signs she's received,
Carol's connection to the afterlife, like so many of ours,
truly began with grief. She shared with me that her
father was the first person she was deeply close to
who passed away. She was only twenty four and her
son Adam was just a baby. The loss hit her hard.
(02:53):
Carol told me, I lost a lot of weight. I
am five foot eight, and I went down to one
hundred and eleven pounds because it was my first heartache
with grief. And then I had a dream about Dad.
And in the dream, he was holding little Adam up
in the air, and he was younger and his face
was brightly illuminated. He was in my parents' living room
(03:16):
and he turned around and looked at me. He was
so happy, and I said, Dad, you're back. Promise me
you will never ever leave me again. Please promise me that.
He said, sweetheart, I'm here, I'm always watching over you,
and I will never leave you again. What a beautiful
(03:37):
and comforting dream. But Carol's connection didn't stop there. She
was new to all of this, and like many of us,
she sought out more understanding. She was working in a
hospital at the time and her friends were all going
to see a local psychic. Carol said, I was talked
into going to see this psychic I sat down and said,
(04:00):
name is Carol. The psychic was actually quite wonderful. She
talked about my dad. She said, you have someone who
passed very dear to you. It's your father. He's formed
a protective shield around you. He loves you so much
that if somebody ever tries to hurt you, it'll bounce
off that shield and it can never touch you. That
(04:21):
beginning experience gave Carol a level of confidence, and then
some years later, her father in law Tim passed away.
Her boy Adam was just six years old, and once
again a profound comforting dream came to her. She told me,
in the wintertime in Massachusetts, my father in law wore
a navy blue wool hat, and outside Adam, with his
(04:46):
winter coat would wear a matching navy blue wool hat. Well,
in my dream, I walked into my son, Adam's childhood home.
I walked into the first bedroom and I could actually
feel the blue sh bag rug under my feet. There
in Adam's bed was my father in law sitting next
(05:06):
to Adam. Adam was fast asleep and he had his
arms around him. And I said, Dad, are you happy?
And he said, Carol, yes, go back and tell them
I am happier than I've ever been. That one line
is powerful. Go back and tell them. It shows that
her father in law knew she was a visitor and
(05:27):
that she was there for a moment and had to
return to this world. As Carol told me, a psychic
friend later explained to her, you have the ability to
go to heaven and meet them in your dreams. You
think they're coming to you, But Carol, we go to them.
And that little piece of message was her proof. These experiences,
(05:49):
these vivid dreams and messages, Carol said, we're building a
foundation of knowing for her. But the next experience, she shared,
is a story of what we call terminal lucidity. Carol's
mom had suffered multiple strokes, and as Carol explained, my
mother's mind was gone. Carol said, she hadn't known my
(06:12):
dear husband, Paul or Adam, or myself, my sister or
brother in law, or their children for many weeks. Carol
was heartbroken. She wanted one more chance to connect, one
more moment to tell her mother how much she loved her.
She said, on a Saturday, I prayed to God and
to my dad all day. Daddy, if you can come
(06:36):
down and meet me from heaven and bring mommy back,
just for one more time. I need to tell her
that she was the best mom anyone could have had.
I need to be able to hold her and have
her understand the love that I appreciate she gave me.
So what happened next shows the power of love and
the reality of our loved ones and spirit. Carol said, well,
(06:59):
we walked into her hospital room, Sandra, and it was
a miracle. Mom was sitting up in bed. She greeted me,
she said, I love you. We hugged each other. She
then hugged Adam and Paul, completely recognizing them. This was incredible.
It wasn't a vague hello. This was a woman who
(07:19):
was unresponsive for weeks suddenly engaging in a complex, thoughtful
conversation about all the things we'd been doing. She remembered everything,
She recognized everyone, She expressed love. She even made a
joke about her son in law needing more light to
read his newspaper. The miracle continued. Carol said, that conversation
(07:43):
began and I said, you're the best mother a girl
could hope for. And she said, well, I've had two
wonderful daughters. My goodness, When I think of what's happening
in some families today. We have had a wonderful family life.
It was a joyful visited with memories. Mom was lucid.
After that beautiful, impossible visit, Carol went home and called
(08:07):
her sister Rita to tell her the good news, saying,
I think Mommy's going to be okay. I think she's recovered.
But the story takes a turn, one that proves just
how special that single visit was. Carol explained. Rita called
me later that evening and she said, I have no
doubt what you're telling me is the truth. I just
(08:28):
don't know how it happened because we found her as
before not knowing any of us, and in our future
visits before she died, she didn't know us either. This
is the key. The miracle was contained in that one
single visit. It's what they call terminal lucidity, showing that
the mind isn't in the brain. It was a window
(08:50):
that opened up just long enough in direct response to
Carol's prayer to give her that final, perfect moment of
connection with her mom. This story proved what researchers are
now documenting, consciousness is not just a byproduct of the brain.
Carol's mother's brain was severely damaged, but her spirit, her essence,
(09:12):
was still perfectly whole. Carol later asked a psychic about
what happened that day. The woman told her, picture yourself.
You climbed up the stairs to heaven in your spirit
and your soul. Your father's soul came down met you
in the window of the afterlife, and the love you
both had from mom brought her back well. Carol just
(09:35):
described that incredible, miraculous return of her mother's personality is
a well documented phenomena. Some hospice nurses call it rallying.
If you'd like to hear a lot of these stories,
go back to episodes one, four, four, one seven to two, two,
two eight, and two three six. It's something that doctor's
(10:00):
and nurses have seen for centuries. A patient who has
been unresponsive, maybe for weeks or even years, due to
Alzheimer's or severe brain damage, will suddenly wake up, just
like Carol's mom. They become completely clear, lucid, and back
to their old selves. They'll recognize their family, share meaningful conversations,
(10:22):
and express love, often just a few hours or days
before they pass away. For me, this is one of
the most powerful pieces of evidence that we have that
our mind is not just in our brain. How can
a person's personality and memories return in full even when
their physical brain is damaged beyond repair. It's a miracle
(10:44):
that shows us that the human spirit is whole, intact,
and just waiting to shine through. What causes it. We're
not quite sure, but here are some beautiful words by
philosopher Pierre Tallard date Chardin. He wrote, Love is the
most universal, the most tremendous, and the most mysterious of
(11:05):
cosmic forces. Love alone is capable of uniting living beings
in such a way as to complete and fulfill them,
for it alone takes them and joins them by what
is deepest in themselves. We don't know exactly why terminal
lucidity happens, but we know it's real, and we also
(11:27):
know that love is the force that can create miracles.
So this experience solidified Carol's knowing. She had proof from
her own life that love never dies, and this foundation
of knowing this certainty would be so important for the
journey that was to come, a journey that would test
her in a way. She could have never imagined that
(11:48):
being the loss of her beloved son Adam. When we
come back, all share Carol's words of the massive amounts
of signs and evidence she received from Adam, proving that
our loved ones are always with us and just a
thought away. Also, I want to give you this thought
to ponder. Carol's story shows us how love can reach
(12:12):
through what is often called the veil. So during the break,
why not imagine that veil between this life and the afterlife.
How is it possible that they can see us and
we cannot see them? Are they part of our world
or are we simply part of theirs, just living behind
(12:34):
a thin curtain for just a little while. What if
the only thing separating us isn't distance or time, but
just our perception. That question is exactly what we're going
to explore together at the end of our episode today
with a very special meditation I have waiting for you.

I'm Sandra Champlain. Before the break, we heard the first
part of Carol Larusso's incredible journey. We heard about those beautiful,
comforting dreams she had. In fact, she went on to
tell me later she's had more and more of them,
extremely vivid. And of course that story of the mother's
terminal lucidity. How just before dying, people even if their
(13:53):
brains have been completely shut down due to dementia or
Alzheimer's or brain damage, can come fully back to life
just for a brief time, making such a difference for
the loved ones. This terminal lucidity really does prove that
when the person we love is dying, but they themselves
their whole and intact, their spirit is one hundred percent there.
(14:17):
So Carol needed this foundation that knowing that her father
was watching over her, her father in law too, and
her mother's spirit was whole because what no mother could
ever imagine was the loss of her beloved son and
only child, Adam. Adam passed away at just thirty five
years old from complications of sepsis, which his body couldn't
(14:40):
fight because of a medication he was on. The loss
was and is unimaginable to anyone, including mom Carol. But
Carol told me that immediately after Adam passed the signs
from the afterlife, while, as she put it, they seem
to go into high octane. The spirit world seemed to
know that Carol was open to connection, and Adam, now
(15:03):
free and powerful, began to make his presence known in
some very astonishing ways. One of the very first and
most direct signs she received happened right in her kitchen.
She told me that there was a light that had
actually burnt out and hadn't worked for months. One day,
standing right under that burnt out light, she was overwhelmed
(15:24):
with grief. She was looking up and said, I miss you, Adam.
I love you. In that exact instant, the light, the
one that was burnt out for months, flashed on and
off three times, blinking. Carol was stunned. Of course, she
had to know, so she spoke out loud and said,
(15:44):
is that you, Adam? Is that really you? She then
created a system right there on the spot. She said, Adam,
one blink means yes, two blinks mean no. She asked again, Adam,
is that you? The light blinked. Once her heart was founding,
(16:06):
she then said, I love you, and the light blink back.
I love you. In their new code, Carol told me
that she and Adam still communicate through that burnt out
light all the time. Now, let's just pause and think
about that. This isn't a random flicker or a power surge.
This is a light that was dead coming to life
(16:29):
only in direct response to Carol's words. It's an intelligent
two way conversation. It's a hello from heaven. But Adam
wasn't done. He soon gave her a sign that was bigger.
Carol and her husband Paul were at home, deep in
their grief, watching the film Mister Holland's Opus. As the
(16:50):
film played, John Lennon's beautiful, heartbreaking song called Beautiful Boy
came on. Carol and Paul just sat there, listening to
the words and crying, thinking of their own beautiful boy, Adam,
And in that peak moment of love and sorrow, the
house seemed to come alive. Carol said that all the
(17:11):
electronics went on and off at once. The radio went
on and off, the TV went on and off. The
lights in the room were flashing on and off. And
it wasn't a flicker, it wasn't a power outage. It
was an electrical symphony. It was as if Adam was
using every ounce of his spiritual energy and saying I'm
(17:34):
right here with you, Mom and Dad, I hear you,
I feel your love, I'm with you. In this moment,
Carol and her husband Paul burst into tears, but this
time they knew there were tears of recognition. They knew
their beautiful Adam was seated right there with them. The
electrical signs kept coming, and then they moved from electrical
to physical. Sometime later, Carol's husband Paul had hip surgery
(18:00):
and a physical therapist was coming to the house. Carol
was sitting on the couch watching the session. The therapist
turned to her and said, I'm so happy you're the
type of wife who can sit right through all of
his exercises with him, so you can learn and help him.
The very second she finished that sentence, all the electronics
in the room did their symphony again, flashing on and off.
(18:21):
To Carol, it was as if Adam was saying, that's right,
you're doing a great job, mom. But that wasn't all. Carol,
still amazed, looked down at the couch cushion right next
to her. There where nothing had been a second before,
was a single, perfectly shaped, pure white feather. She told me.
(18:42):
It appeared out of nowhere. She picked it up, knew
in her heart it was from Adam, acknowledged the sign,
and now she continues to find them everywhere, but this
first one. It's what many call apports, a physical object
that materializes from the spirit world into our own. It's
(19:03):
one of the most tangible and undeniable forms of evidence
our loved ones can't give us. This reminds me of
a story from my friend Rob. He asked his deceased
loved ones for dimes, and what he thought would be
when he was walking, he'd see some dimes and he'd
know it was from that loved one. However, the loved
(19:25):
one took it one step further, and I call these apports.
Rob rented a car and when he got out of
the seat there were dimes on the seat. Not only that,
he was sitting on an airplane, and when he got
off the seat in the airplane there were dimes. And
in a hotel room after he had checked in, after
(19:47):
he had taken a shower, he goes back into the
bathroom and there are dimes in the tub. Now back
to Carol and Adam. Adam also uses birds in incredible
ways Carol shared the next story about his first birthday
after he had passed. She said, I couldn't let his
birthday go by without celebrating Adam. So we all sang
(20:10):
Happy Birthday to Adam. On the back bumper of my
friend's van. A big raven came and sat on the
back and looked at each one of us like it
was speaking to us. It shook loudly, met each one
of us directly looking into our eyes, and then it
flew away. We were stunned. Then fifteen minutes later it
(20:35):
came back and did the exact same thing, and this
was no ordinary bird. Later Carol had a reading with
a medium who verified the bird. She said, Oh, my god,
your son Adam is here, and he's talking about the
raven that came and spoke to you on the beach.
(20:56):
He had put his soul into that raven to join
you all for the birthday party. He was there to
celebrate with you. The signs from birds became even more direct.
Carol told me about a time she was feeling low
and specifically asked Adam for a sign. She said, one morning,
we woke up and I said, Adam, it's been a
(21:18):
little while since I had a sign from you, Can
you send me one today? She told me that when
Adam was sick, she would often play the song on
Eagle's Wings for him and whisper, someday you're going to
soar like an eagle. After asking for that sign, she
and Paul were driving to a state park. All of
(21:40):
a sudden, she said, this beautiful, huge eagle, a bald
eagle with a white head and feathers, was so close
to me. It landed on the front hood of our car.
Its golden eyes looked me right in my eyes. It
had one wing up to the sky. It stared at
(22:00):
me and then flew up to the sky. My husband
and I we were stunned, looked at each other. Did
that just happen? And I knew it was not a coincidence.
When does a bald eagle land on a car? That
was a direct, specific and beautiful answer to her request.
(22:21):
She also shares that cardinals come to her home all
the time, but they don't just land in the trees.
They come knocking on her window just to let her
know that they're near. And it's not just about birds,
it's music too. Carol told me about another vacation she
was feeling Adam's presence, and just as she was exiting
(22:41):
her breakfast spot, she said, Adam, if you're here with
us on vacation, give me a sign. She continues, We
then walked into a gift shop. She said that Adam
was a big fan of the singer Donna Summer. As
soon as I walked in, on the radio by Donna
Summer started to play. This was a song that she
(23:04):
and Adam used to dance to all the time. Again,
an immediate, personal, an undeniable sign for her that he
had heard her. But all of these signs are so personal,
so powerful to Carol. But the next one, she shared
is verifiable in another way. It involves her godchild, Her niece, Katie,
(23:26):
was very sick with an autoimmune disease. Carol, using her
blinking light system, had a long talk with Adam. She
asked him, Adam, is Katie going to make it or
is she going to join you in heaven soon? The
answer she got back from the light was clear. Caro
believes Adam told her, Mommy, She's already halfway here in
(23:49):
heaven with me and with all of her loved ones.
The very next day, Katie passed away, But the story
doesn't end there. After Katie's past, Carol learned something incredible.
She found out that before Katie died, she had an
experience with Adam. She was in her house when she
(24:11):
suddenly saw Adam in her room. But he was different.
She said. He was taller than his six foot three
inch frame. He was almost seven feet tall, and he
was wearing a long white gown. And this, this is
the detail that gives me goosebumps. Katie said that Adam
(24:32):
was holding a little beagle dog by a leash, and
he was walking her through the house. Here's the thing.
Carol never told her that the beagle, Mollie, was their
family dog, but they had gotten Mollie after Adam had
passed away. Adam in his physical life had never met
(24:54):
that dog. Katie in that moment, seeing her beautiful vision
before passing of her cousin and that little dog, she
grabbed her cellphone and she took a picture of what
she was seeing. Carol told me that they have that picture.
To her, it looks like an X ray image of
her son, Adam, taller than life, in a white gown,
(25:17):
holding the leash of a little dog, the dog he
met in the Afterlife. We'll be right back with more

Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain. Segment. We heard
the powerful and personal signs Carol received from her son
Adam after he had passed. The blinking light that communicated
I love you, the house full of electronics flashing on
and off at the exact moments she and her husband
were grieving for him, the white feather that appeared out
(26:18):
of thin air and continued to do so, And most incredibly,
the verifiable photograph taken by her niece Katie before she passed,
showing Adam and spirit holding the family dog, Mollie, a
dog he had never met in this life. These signs
are personal, they're direct, They're undeniable. Although I haven't seen
her picture and I didn't get those signs, a mother knows.
(26:43):
We human beings know when it is that our loved
ones are communicating with us, and no one can take
those away from us. But the universe wasn't done providing
this evidence to Carol. The next set of validations she
received came from meeting. The details they provided were specific
for Carol personal, and to her, impossible for them to
(27:06):
know that they serve as independent proof that Carol's connection
with Adam is real. Carol shared a story with me
about a medium named Aurora. It happened in an ordinary place,
she said. We met in an ice cream parlor. Rora said,
I'm pleased to meet you. She said, oh my word,
(27:27):
there's a young man around you. He goes by Adama
in heaven. Adama. Carol said that when she heard that name,
she almost fell over. You see, Adama was a special,
private nickname. She explained. When Adam was little, my brother
in law, Ronnie said to Adam, I'm going to call
(27:50):
you a Dama. And then when Adam was older, going
to a dance or a nightclub, I'd hear him in
the bathroom and he'd be saying to himself, looking good, Adama.
So when that medium said in the ice cream parlor,
he goes by Adama in heaven, not knowing his name
was Adam, I was amazed. The validation didn't stop there.
(28:13):
The medium continued painting a perfect picture of her son.
Carol said. She told me he's a teacher in heaven.
That he loves children, he could communicate with older people,
and that he loves animals. That he was a basketball
player and made everybody feel hope, and when you got
(28:33):
a hug from Adam, that he always tapped you twice
on the back. Every single detail she said about Adam
was correct. He was always helping people in life, so
it makes sense that Adam is a teacher in spirit
and in life. He was a gifted basketball player. And
that two tap hug that was his signature move. She said,
(28:55):
something only his family would know. Carol and her husband
got another powerful confirmation when they were least expecting it.
They were on a ghost tour in Okalla, Florida. Carol explained,
the woman who led the ghost tour she just knew
us from the ghost tours as Carol and Paul. That's
all she knew. She didn't even know our last names.
(29:17):
And we were talking about orbs and she kept looking
at me and smiling, saying she was looking at my aura.
And I said, what is it you see? You keep smiling?
The woman said, I see a beautiful angel around you.
You have a beautiful angel surrounding you, and when I
(29:37):
look at you, his light is so bright that I'm blinded.
I also hear the dribble of a basketball. There's the
basketball again. Carol and Paul were amazed. Of course, this
woman couldn't have known that Adam played basketball his entire life.
Carol shared with me that they had sent him to
summer camp with one of the players for the Boss
(30:00):
in Celtics. He was able to sink twenty out of
twenty baskets from the foul line. He was the kid who,
in the final moments of a game, sunk a three
pointer from across the court and he was carried off
on his teammate's shoulders. He loved that basketball, she said.
He was a little boy who would even carry his
(30:20):
basketball with him to soccer practice. The final story from
Mediums that Carol shared with me is when her and
her husband went to one of the live events of
medium Matt Frasier's. They were in a huge audience of
two hundred people. Carol told me, when he divided the
room in two, he walked down the middle. He said
(30:42):
to me, you in the pink dress, you are so
receptive to getting signs from the afterlife, and you know
they're from heaven when you get them. He said, the
spirits around you are driving me crazy, wanting me to
talk to you. Matt Fraser then proceeded to bring through
care girl's whole family with stunning accuracy. He talked about
(31:04):
her father being an accountant, seeing him at the kitchen
table with his ledger. He brought through her funny father
in law, Tim, and even knew that he had done
vaudeville at one time. He said, the two fathers are
bringing a son. It's your son, Adam, And then in
that moment he started to choke. He felt like the
(31:25):
tube was inserted down Adam. When Adam had a respiratory arrest,
his mother, who's also a psychic, ran to get him
some water, and he said, I'm fine. It's just that
your son is very, very powerful in heaven, letting me
know what he felt. The medium had physically taken on
(31:45):
the very specific traumatic medical event of Adam's passing, but
then Adam used the connection to send his parents the
most healing message he possibly could. Carol told me what
Matt said next was telling me when he passed away
that you and your husband did everything, and he knows
(32:06):
you didn't leave his side those entire four days. And afterwards,
when he was signing his book, I said, Matt, I'm
sorry that happened, and he said, don't be I'm fine.
It's your son, who is extremely powerful in heaven. That
made me feel what he felt when he passed. Having
(32:27):
a good evidential medium reading is certainly very healing for
those who are grieving. So these experiences, the dreams, the
high octane signs, I Love the Eagle, the verifiable mediumship
have all taught Carol so much, not just about the afterlife,
but how to live this life. The most important lessons
(32:48):
she shared with me were about forgiveness and how to
raise our own vibration to be able to feel that
connection for ourselves. She told me another story from a
about her husband's uncle George, who had been tragically shot
and killed during a robbery. The medium told her that
(33:08):
Uncle George had come through with a message for her.
Carol said, he wants me to tell you that when
he crossed over into heaven, he forgave the young men
who had killed him because he was able to see
the horrible lives they had lived. What a beautiful message
(33:29):
that someone could actually forgive the ones who had killed him.
This shaped Carol's own outlook. She told me, I want
to talk about forgiveness. Don't let any baggage weigh you down.
Anybody who's listening right now, forgive freely. That doesn't mean
you have to have a relationship with that person, but
(33:51):
do forgive them. If you forgive and you don't want
to continue with a relationship, what I do. I put
their name on a sheet of paper and I give
it to God and say I forgive you, and I
love you as God loves you. And then I just
rip up that piece of paper so you too can
(34:11):
free yourself of that baggage. She told me that her
son Adam, reminds her over and over again of the
key to this connection. As she said, Adam tells me
what's going to save the earth is kindness, compassion, and love.
So I asked her, for all of those listening who
(34:32):
want to feel all those amazing signs, those dreams, that connection,
who want to have these experiences, what can we do?
How can we each up our frequency to meet our
loved ones halfway? Her answer was beautiful and simple. In fact,
you just ask them. She said, just simply ask them,
(34:55):
say I love you, I miss you. Can you send
me some signs? Means, can you join me in a dream?
Can you flicker the lights on and off? And then
free yourself of the baggage? Don't have any anger in
your life when you ask. She told me her own
practice is to go outside every morning, talk to your
(35:16):
loved ones and ask for signs. But the real key,
she says, it's how you live the rest of the day.
Carol said, lead a life, lead with love. Say you're
in a restaurant and the waitress is having a busy time,
make sure to tell her I appreciate you so much today,
thank you for the wonderful service. I go out every day,
(35:40):
Carol says, thinking how I can make somebody's life better
by a compliment, just by showing them that they're there,
that they're listened to, they're important, and that they're seen.
And that's what we all need to do to raise
our vibration. Let go of baggage, be forgiving, be kind,
(36:00):
and be compassionate. And one of the best gifts you
can give is to be a good listener. What a
beautiful message to raise our own vibration by living a
life of kindness, forgiveness, and love. Not only does it
make our time here on Earth better, but it opens
the door to feel that connection with our loved ones.
(36:23):
Love is the key. And it's interesting from all the
near death experiences that I've heard, they too, say that
the key to our lives now is forgiveness, kindness, service,
and love. And isn't it interesting for anyone who has
studied the major world religions? What are the most important principles? Compassion, charity, gratitude, honesty, truth,
(36:54):
not doing harm, unconditional love, and forgiveness? What do you
think about all that? They sure are simple words to say,
aren't they? But they may be not so easy to do.
But isn't that why we're here on planet Earth souls
(37:14):
having a human experience, learning, forgiving, loving, investigating all of this,
And for myself, I'm wondering, if I can take on
more of those values and qualities, will that raise my
vibration for more signs to appear in better communication with
(37:36):
my loved ones? Some food for thought, don't forget. Carol's

live in an old town and I often thought it
would be great to put on a pair of glasses
to transport me back in time to see what the
town looked like two hundred years ago. And that got
me thinking about the veil between this life and the
(38:45):
world our loved ones live in the hereafter. I one
hundred percent believe we are part of their world and
they are just vibrating too fast so we cannot see them.
But what if we had a pair of glasses that
would allow us to see into their world. This is
(39:06):
a journey into our imagination, and as we know, our
imagination is the language of the soul. Any great medium
will tell you that when they surrender to the spirit world,
the evidence they bring through appears just like their imagination,
as if the spirit folks treat our minds like a
(39:27):
blank canvas to paint on I'd like to guide you
through a gentle meditation, a simple journey, using this language
of the soul and the gateway for spirit. So if
you are in a safe, quiet space, I invite you
to close your eyes. Let's begin by taking a few deep,
(39:50):
healing breaths, breathing in slowly, and as you do, you
can imagine, if you'd like you're breathing in pure, peaceful
white light, hold it for just a moment and exhale,
letting go of all of the worries and all of
(40:10):
the stress of the day. You can do that one
more time, a deep breath in, filling your lungs with
peace and calm, and a long, slow breath out, just
letting go. Now, just allow your breathing to return to
(40:35):
its natural, easy rhythm. I want you to bring your
awareness to your body. Imagine that a warm golden light
starts at the very tip of your toes and relaxes
them completely. You can feel this warmth move up into
(40:58):
your feet and into your ankles and into your legs,
melting any tension. It moves up into your knees and
into your thighs. Your legs feel so heavy, so relaxed,
(41:23):
and let that warm, peaceful light fill your hips, and
your stomach, and your chest all the way up to
your shoulders. Just let them droop as all of the
tension just dissolves, and feel it flowed down into your arms,
(41:47):
through your elbows, into your forearms, into the wrists, all
the way down to the tips of your fingers. Now
feel that warmth to move up your neck, relaxing all
(42:07):
the little muscles It move into your head, softening your jaw,
your cheeks, your forehead, and even the tiny muscles around
your eyes. Your entire body now is held in this beautiful, safe,
(42:31):
golden light, feeling completely at peace, with not a care
in the world. Now in this beautiful, peaceful state, I
want you to imagine in your mind's eye a small,
beautiful box sitting right in front of you. It can
(42:53):
look any way you wish. Perhaps it's an antique wooden box,
or just a simple gift box tied with a ribbon.
It's a gift from your soul to you in your mind.
Reach out and open the lid, and inside, resting on
the softest velvet, is a pair of special glasses. These
(43:17):
are your glasses. They might look like antique reading glasses,
or might look a little more modern, or maybe something
you've never seen before. It doesn't matter. These are your
afterlife glasses, a tool to help you see and hear
beyond the veil that normally keeps us from seeing our
(43:39):
loved ones. Gently in your mind, pick up these glasses,
feel their weight in your hands, and now slowly lift
them and put them on. As you do, the world
behind your closed eye begins to shift. The darkness softens,
(44:05):
it becomes brighter, more vibrant. You realize that you are
in a space that is both here and there, almost
like a beautiful waiting room with a couch or a
bench or two chairs. The veil in front of you thins,
becoming as soft and light as a mist. With these
(44:30):
glasses on, you have one simple job to feel love.
I want you to think of that one loved one
that you miss so much. Just bring them to your mind,
feel the love you have for them. Now, think of
(44:55):
a favorite memory with them that brings you joy and
from your heart, just send out the thought I am here,
I am open to seeing you. I love you. Now
(45:17):
just sit in this beautiful safe space and notice you
don't have to try. Just be open with your special
glasses on. You might begin to feel a gentle touch
on your arm, or a familiar warmth right next to you.
(45:39):
You might smell their perfume or cologne. You might hear
them whisper your name, or just hear the sound of
their laugh. Or with your new eyes, you might see
a flicker of light off to the side, or you
(46:01):
might see them standing right in front of you, or
sitting on the couch beside you, healthy and smiling, exactly
however you wish to remember them. Just be here in
(46:23):
this moment with them. I will be quiet for a
little while so you can have this time to hug
and to hold and talk with them. Know that this
(47:25):
connection is real, Know that this love is real. That
they are not gone. They are right here, just on
the other side of what we can normally see. You
don't need the waiting room, and you don't need the glasses.
(47:46):
They tell you they are always a part of your
life and will never leave you. That they can multitask
on their side of life as they continue to learn
and grow and experience. But with thought, they're easily right
back with you. Feel their love for you, just as
(48:10):
you feel your love for them. Give them a hug
and feel them hugging you right back, and now gently
it's time to come back. Thank your loved one for
this beautiful moment. Know that this connection is always available
(48:36):
to you. You can practice this connection whenever you like,
for as long as you like. Slowly in your mind's eye,
take the special glasses off and place them back in
their beautiful safe box. Close the knowing you can return
(49:02):
to them anytime you wish. Now bring your attention slowly
back to your body, back to the chair you're sitting on,
or back to your bed, back to the room you
are in. Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
(49:29):
Take one more deep cleansing breath in, and as you exhale,
bring that feeling of peace and connection back with you.
And when you are ready, and only when you're ready,
you can slowly open your eyes, or you can just
(49:51):
stay in this gentle, peaceful state. Remember that your loved
ones are only a thought away, always loving and supporting you.
