Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast AM on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
And welcome back to Coast to Coast George Nori with you.
We've got a great program for you tonight. Danielshian back
with us. Holds a unique perspective as special council to
the nineteen seventy seven US Congressional Research Services Official Report
to President Jimmy Carter of the Potential existence of extraterrestrial
intelligence in the UFO phenomenon, as the nineteen ninety four

(00:27):
attorney for doctor John Mack of the Harvard Medical School,
author of Abduction Human Encounters with Aliens, as the former
twenty year General Council of the two thousand and one
Disclosure Project, as General Counsel of the twenty thirteen Citizens
Public Hearings on Disclosure, and as the current attorney for
Luis Alissando, the director of the ten year Top Seeker

(00:51):
United States Pentagons Classified Investigation of UFO UAP Phenomena. Daniel
was also the seventies and eighties General Counsel to the
United States Jesuit Headquarters in Washington, DC, National Office of
Social Ministry.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
What a Bio. Daniel, Welcome back.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Thank you, George. Good to be with you again, Are
you Ben Ben busy as you might guess?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
My gosh, it really is.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Was it the work as a special counsul in seventy seven?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
What got you into all of this?

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yes, that's what it began. When I was at Jesuit headquarters.
I was contacted just almost immediately after President Carter was
elected in November of nineteen seventy six. I was contacted
by Marshall Smith, the head of the Congressional Research Service
Science and Technology Division. She'd been tasked by the President

(01:45):
to find what the documents were, what type of evidence
we had in our possession in the United States government
to address the issue of the UFO phenomenon and any
extraterrestrial civilization. That was the task he assigned to her,
and she contacted me at Jesuit headquarters and asked if

(02:06):
I would become general counsel to the investigation and initially
assist in getting access to the Vatican through the Jesuit
order to see what they had on the subject.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
When did you become a believer?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Well, I was confident that with all the billions and
billions of stars I checked out, there's five hundred billion
star systems just in our galaxy, and I was confident
that the substantial majority of them had planets orbiting around them.
So I knew from the time that I was very

(02:43):
little that there were other living beings there, and I
followed all the information about UFOs, et cetera. But when
I became a general counsel, a special counsel to the
investigation requested by President Carter, I was given access to
the classified Project Blue Book, which was the major US

(03:03):
Air Force study from nineteen seventy two to resuming nineteen
fifty two to nineteen sixty seven, and I saw in
the classified portions of Project Blue Book actual photographs of
crash retrieval going on by the United States Air Force,
and so I knew for sure that this was going on,

(03:24):
and I shared that information with Jesuit headquarters and we
followed up on it, and I was shown other photographs
at Jesuit headquarters of UFOs. I communicated with the Vatican
about this, and I've met directly with the staff at
the observatory at Castle Gondelfo and they shared with me

(03:49):
the fact that there was another very sophisticated non human
civilization here in our Milky Way Galaxy, and that they
had request that we do everything we could do to
generate conversations among the laity, the regular people about the
philosophical and theological implications of the existence of another highly

(04:13):
intelligent and highly technologically developed, but distinctly non human species
here in our galaxy. So that's what I've been doing
basically for forty eight years since I first became involved
in this, and as you mentioned at the top of
the show, I've had a number of different positions and
posts through which I've done this. So that's what we're doing.

(04:38):
And as of right now, as you know, i'm legal
counsel for lou Elisondo, who was the co executive producer
of The Age of Disclosure, the brand new two hour
documentary film. It's just been released on November twenty first
and was shown in a private showing to members of Congress.
So the thing we're doing very busily right now, and

(05:03):
I'm working to help draft the new stand alone UFO
et Disclosure Act if we're unable to in the final
hours of this legislative session in the first session of
the Congress, if we're unable to get the previous sixty
four page Senate bill inserted into the National Defense Authorization Act,

(05:28):
which is going to be a very very steep climb.
Then we're going to be introducing Eric is going to
be introducing Eric Burlson is going to be introducing a
stand alone UFO E T Disclosure Act, and the organizing
around the country is going to go on around that

(05:50):
bill to have Congress basically take over the process of
declassifying all of the information about the UFO phenomena. So
that's a busy schedule that we've got right now, but
it's something that I've been working on for forty eight years,
and so it's now coming to a head right now.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Eric Burlson is a congressman out of Missouri, and he's
into this in a big way, isn't he.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Yes, Well, he has the sort of the brief on
the UFO issue. Now inside the special task Force that's
been created by the House Oversight Committee, they're dealing not
only with the UFO issue, but also of course with
the Jeffrey Epstein documents. And so the chairperson of that

(06:37):
task force, that Anna Paulina Luna, she's taken up pretty
much full time now trying to extract the final documents
out of the Jeffrey Epstein files in the Justice Department.
And so she has handed off the major responsibility for
the UFO issue to Congressman Eric Burlson from Missouri, and
he's leading the charge on this now and will be

(07:00):
in charge of constructing the statute, the new standalone statute
pursued into which Congress is going to be asserting its
original Article one authority under the Constitution to declassify information
pertaining to the UFO issue.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Let's go back to nineteen seventy seven, Daniel, what was
it that got Congress to special investigate the UFO phenomenon
under the President Jimmy Carter.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Well, what happened is that right after President Carter was
elected in November, the first week of November of nineteen
seventy six, one of the very first things that he
did is he immediately sent for the head of the
Central Intelligence Agency to come down to Plains, Georgia to
meet with him at Carter's home, even before President elect

(07:50):
Carter had come to Washington. And at the time, back
in November nineteen seventy six, the head of the Central
Intelligency she was George H. W.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Bush.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
He had been appointed by Gerald Ford when he came
in to take over in nineteen seventy four when President
Nixon was forced to resign over the Watergate scandal, and
George Bush when he came down to Planes Georgia, he
pleaded with a President elect Carter to keep Bush on

(08:24):
as the Central Intelligence Agency director, promising that if Trump,
excuse me, if Jimmy Carter would have him have Bush
remain as the CIA director, that Bush would never run
for any public office again. But President Carter told him
that he had someone else in mind to be the
new CIA director, and so George Bush refused to give

(08:47):
him any information about the ufols, just said that he
had no need to know. And so what President Carter
did is, rather than spend a lot of his new
political capital from being elected president by having a battle
with the CIA director, what he did is he went
to the Science and Technology Division of the House of Representatives,

(09:11):
the Committee, and asked them to task the Congressional Research
Service of the Congress to undertake this investigation for the president.
And that's how that began. Back in the immediately in
late November of two thousand, or excuse me, in nineteen
seventy six, and I was contacted early in nineteen seventy

(09:34):
seven by doctor Marshall Smith to come on board.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
How long did that investigation last, Daniel, because it seems
like after it ended, this incredible lull of anything else.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
What happened, Well.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
It's interesting that the information was given over to a
president a Carter. But what happened as you know that
the fifty two hostages were taken in Iran and this
major confrontation began between the United States in Iran over
the hostages because President Carter. President Carter had cut off

(10:13):
all military funding to the Shaw of Iran, who was
an authoritarian dictator that had been put into power back
in nineteen fifty four by our American Central Intelligence Agency,
and he was torturing people and suppressing dissent and was
a terrible tyrant, and the people overthrew him. So it

(10:39):
caused a great turmoil because the people that rose up
and threw out the Shaw of Iran seized the fifty
two American hostages and basically overwhelmed the Carter administration in
trying to deal with this new issue, and so that
he didn't get to really move on this issue. And

(10:59):
when he was basically removed, as you know in the
October surprise in the nineteen eighty election, George Bush Senior,
who had been the CIA Director, came into power as
the Vice president under Ronald Reagan and basically dominated that

(11:19):
administration and was fully briefed on then the UFO phenomenon
was and he began to work with the people behind
the scenes as the head of the fifty four to
twelve Committee of the National Security Council in charge of
covert operations, and became intimately involved in what at that

(11:44):
time was basically the Majestic Group that was a group
of twelve people that had been appointed earlier by President
Truman shortly after the Roswell crash in Roswell in July
of nineteen forty seven. And the things that was revealed
in this recent documentary film that was just premiered on

(12:05):
November twenty one, just a week or two ago. One
of the things that data is they explicitly pointed out
that Roswell had in fact happened after all these years
of denying it in the United States Air Force issuing
false explanations for it. These thirty four high level US

(12:26):
government officials that were interviewed in lou Alsando's movie The
Age of Disclosure basically stated right flat out that the
crash of a UFO had occurred back in July of
nineteen forty seven, it had been recovered along with four
bodies of non human extraterrestrial beings, and that they had

(12:49):
all been taken to right Field. So this long debate
that's been going on between the United States Air Force
and the CIA and the intelligence community on the one
hand versus the American people who have known for decades
that the Roswell crash was real, has now been finally
officially resolved by these major a dozen or more major

(13:13):
inside government officials confirming it just here on November twenty first.
So that's just one of the many things that were
now semi officially acknowledged as part of this new disclosure process.
It is presently under way.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
We're talking with Daniel Shean.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
His website is linked up at Coast tocostam dot com. Daniel,
I know you're under attorney client privilege, but give us
your thoughts on Louis Elazondo.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Well, Lou, as you know, ironically, lou had come out
of a very very conservative.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Family down in Miami.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
His father was one of the refugees who had fled
from Cuba back in January of nineteen fifty nine when
Fidel Castro overthrew Buttista down there, and his father had
become a prominent person in Alpha sixty six, which is
a major Cuban refugee, very radical conservative group that was

(14:14):
engaged in covert operations trying to overthrow the Castro government.
So Lou comes out of a very conservative group that
was very much involved with the Central Intelligence Agency very
early on, and he made his whole career. I was
in the United States Military and became a special operations

(14:35):
intelligence officer and ended up being asked to become the
chief of security for a new above top secret project.
In two thousand and seven, he became the chief of
counterintelligence for the Advanced Aerospace Special Weapons Application Program, a
special special access program above top secret Pentagon investigating UFOs.

(15:03):
He had been summoned by Jay Stratton, who was the head.
He was the deputy director of that program under Jim Lukatski,
and the three of them basically began this intense investigation
to try to find out what all the information was
that was in the United States government's possession about the

(15:24):
UFO phenomenon, and they were not briefed in at the
highest levels, so they started running into trouble and pushback,
and they came to discover that there was this element
deeply buried within the Defense Department and the Operations Directorate
and the Science and Technology Division of the Central Intelligence

(15:47):
Agency that housed this original group, this majestic group that
had been created back in nineteen forty seven by Truman
and their successors now were basically running the show behind
the scenes, and that they were not only engaged in

(16:09):
a massive UFO retrieval operation, but that they were actively
engaged in shooting down UFOs. They had developed some sort
of a major weapon, a pulse weapon that could actually
seek out and knock down UFOs, and that they were
taking these UFOs into possession and engaged in a program

(16:31):
of reverse engineering this technology so they could make a
major weapons delivery program, a new platform for delivering thermonuclear
weapons into Russia or China, and the lou Elizondo and
the others, Chris Mellen, who was involved in began to

(16:52):
discover that this was all going on. They had heard
that this was going on before, but they got They
pushed and shoved and got brought into the program, and
very clearly they are now engaged in a major project
to as disciplined a way as they can manage to

(17:14):
start getting more and more of the information out to
the public. And you know, there's a big the controversy
about whether Lou was actually involved in an actual official
program inside the Pentagon. That's been settled now. That's transparently
obvious now that it's true what we put in his

(17:34):
complaint to the Inspector General of the Defense Department, where
I represented him in the preparing of that complaint. We've
now verified all of that information. And the question that's
arising now is the degree to which Lou and Chris
Mellen and Jay Stratton and hell put Off and Dave

(17:55):
Grush and doctor Eric Davis and the others are involved
in a conscious program of rolling out information in coordination
with the Legacy group, or whether they are actually in
dialectical confrontation with the Legacy group. But the thing that's

(18:16):
been made obvious now in the hearings is that they
are in possession of a lot more information than they
have publicly revealed, either in their public testimony to Congress,
even in their backdoor meetings with the Senate Intelligence Committee,
and in the publication of this new two hour documentary film.

(18:41):
All of these people, lou ALISANDU and Chris Mellon and
Jay Stratton and helped put Off and David Grush and
Eric Davis and the others are in possession of vastly
more information than they have publicly revealed to date, and
they have said so to Congress. They've told Congress in
direct meetings that they are under orders from superiors inside

(19:05):
the intelligence community and inside the executive branch not to
reveal this information to Congress, which is a flagrant violation
of the Constitution, the separation of powers. It's transparently evident
from Article I of the Constitution of the United States
that the Congress of the United States has the ultimate

(19:27):
authority to decide what information is going to be revealed
to the public and what information is going to be
revealed to certain committees of Congress. That's not a discretion
that's left to the executive branch.
