He was close to securing a precious win in his first game in charge, but a wonder strike from Oxford's Cameron Brannagan ended that. So it leaves Cardiff needing to win their final two games of the season to stand a chance of staying up... and Iwan and Sam aren't ready to give up hope just yet.
No such worries for Swansea, who have surged clear of relegation trouble with a record-breaking run of wins. Has Alan Sheehan done enough to warrant the manager's job on a full-time basis?
