Speaker 1 (00:19):
Welcome back to the Monsters in the morning. I'm a
Radio one oh four point one. You can vote right now.
You decide who's going to be next and the Monster
Guests Hall of Fame go to uh real Radio or
sorry Monsters dot at Them. That's Monsters Dot at Them
and the poll is up. You can vote. You make
the decision, not us. We just nominated a bunch of folks.
You decide who you think we had the best appearance

(00:40):
this year, live in studio. That's the Those are the rules.
Go check it out. It's at Monsters Dot at Them.
Welcome back. I'm Rus Rollinds along with Angelette, the Dames,
a Queen, a hero, Ryan Holmes not a hero.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Now to spend for Angel or Vera a hero?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Matsa sports brought to you by the Just Okay Roast
that's going down October the thirtieth. It's gonna be a
one night event only at Justin's Wife. There'll be the
three best friends that you never knew you had to
Sean Sabrina and Sea Lane and they've got Ross Pageant,
Royn Holmes and Ross McCoy and we're down to the
last handful of tickets. You want to jump all over it.

(01:22):
They want me to let you know that it's the
kind of comedy that you will never hear on daytime radio.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
New tickets remain go to Real Radio.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Dot FM Backslash Roast. All right, rus, this is this
is again a little fandom one oh one. We're gonna
walk down this lane real quick all this morning. I'm
not sure if you've picked up on all the conversations
that we've had, and we've had some great texts, you
can hit us up on real Mobile seven seven zero
three to one. We're four games into the NBA season

(01:53):
right ready to have.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Our whatever we here were how we look in Yeah, we're.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Like, no magic, I've had four games and man, four
games in the season. You guys as sure, Ryan, like
you guys are already panicking like it's easy to take
a deep breath, take a step back and uh and relax.
What the what the team's going through right now is no, No,

(02:18):
we're not looking back. We're not getting blown out, We're
not looking you know. What's happening is that we're not
let's say, for if you're looking for a word or phrase,
we haven't found our identity yet as a team that
that that cohesion, that kind of stuff happens with games played,
real live game minutes. Preseason is one thing. Real life

(02:40):
games are another thing. And to get her true idea
of where you are, where you are at as a
team into an season. I learned this from the guys
that I work with at the Akron Beacon Journal. UH
sports desk usually wait, twenty five games. Twenty five games
and what it's it's not really when you when it's
eighty two, eighty three game season, Russ. Okay, you know,

(03:02):
so that gives you a real good idea of where you're,
where your team's at. Four games in, it's okay to.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Just take a deep breath, angel.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Take a deep breath.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Down, relax with the four games. Then they're gonna be like,
oh yeah, I don't worry about it, and that's the
twenty whatever.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
No, no, it's called get your stuff together.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's four games in. It's to panic.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
It's no reason to get get crazy, no reason to
demand trades. We're early into the season where the team
is going to be fine. Remember that I said this, Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But you also have told us that you're like one
of these crazy fans and you're like a like an
irrational fandom. Is this irrational fandom Angel talking?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I think this is common sense. It's four games into
a season and you want to burn it down, you
want to demand crazy trades. We're four games in. We
won our home opener. We've been on the road now
for a little bit. We lost last night the Philadelphia
stuff sixers. Uh they're currently three and oh we lost
one thirty six to one twenty four. Our main guys
are playing well, right, So Franz had twenty two, Polo

(04:09):
had thirty two, Desmond Bain had twenty four.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Where where we're lacking right now is one of the
things that we were strong at is our defensive cohesion,
defensive identity. Obviously we've brought some new players in, we've
let some guys go. They're finding their defensive identity. Four
games into the season. I just need y'all guys followed
me on this one. Let's just calm down a little bit,

(04:35):
as sure. I'm looking right at you, you maniac Ryan,
you as well? Now, you Ryan, the Texan Ryan. We're
gonna be all right. And remember I bet the over
on fifty wins heavy for the season.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
So so that's why you're saying that, no, no, no, I
would say that.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I would say this regardless, regardless is one of my rules.
Always say, you wait twenty five games into an NBA season,
four games into a season. That's just way too early
to demand all these kind of crazy things.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
I tell you what I'm not doing. I'm not betting
parlays anymore.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Oh yeah, second, we're gonna get to you. Cool your jets,
all right. I want to set the stage here because
we had a whole bunch of action going on yesterday. Yesterday, ladies,
if you're not a familiar, it was the sports equinox.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
This happened.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
This is the thirty second time that it's happened in
the last thirty five forty years whatever. And what that
means is all the four major leagues were playing on
the same day. So we had NFL action, we had
NBA action, we had a Major League Baseball action, we
had NHL action. And then we thought, you know, because
that wasn't hard enough, we threw in because there was

(05:38):
two MLS matches on, so throw that into the mix.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
And at the ten.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
O'clock hour yesterday we put together a sports parlay that
will get to in a moment Ryan.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Okay, why do you beat in these things?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
It was awesome though.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Okay, so yesterday, if you were watching the World Series,
it was a World Series game of epic and historic proportions.
Rush they tied the longest playoff game in MLB.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
History, six hours of baseball, Like, how many hot dogs
do you have in six hours? When I'm wondering if
you're watching that, at least three hot dogs as a
free hot dog game.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, and throwing some chicken fingers.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I guess, I guess the I forget which team one
of the teams ordered like fruit like like a fruit plate.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Because it was it was They've been there for long
to come down to the doug.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I'm sure just to keep hydrated.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Man.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yeah, uh so the but the Dodgers do end up
winning six to five. Show tiny's continuing to do like
historic things. He's the first player ever to get on
base nine times in a baseball game. But they, like
I said, the Dodgers took the lead on that two
to one out of the best of seven matchup. And

(06:54):
uh again, if you were up, if you were up
last night watching this thing, uh and you had to
go to work today.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Which time was it over? Like one in the morning.
I don't have the ending time. There's seax hours. So yeah,
I started eight yeah yeah, probably about one o'clock.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Yeah, So that's what I can't That's why I can't
do baseball.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
But that's I mean, there's more than more than just that.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
But understand that that that's like, that's a rare occurrence.
You're not having eighteen ending games happening.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
All the time.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
No, but barely get through the number.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
Am Eastern that's insanity.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
So we literally did have people that had just fallen
asleep to wake up to listen to us. That's crazy.
Relations to the Kansas City Chiefs, uh, Travis Kelsey set
a team record, but they also did get the victory
over the Commodores twenty eight to seven victory over the
Washington Commodorees.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
You know, what I heard yesterday was that they're still
the front runner in Vegas to win the Super Ball
this year.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
So their slow start, because there was people that was
predicting the demise of the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
You know when they started off slow, and what they
were waiting for is their guys to get healthy. That's
what we're seeing now. Their receivers are healthy. It's everybody's
healthier now, and so that you're seeing kind of the
gameplay that they're known for. And that's kind of what
they exhibited last night. And I get it the Commodoers

(08:15):
didn't have their number one quarterback out there as well.
They were out there with Marcus Marriotta. But you know,
it is what it is.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Jets one. You know, on Sunday, we did.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Talk about that yesterday if you were talking.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Tea and so, you know, you.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Want to talk about the Jets late, and then you
got to be.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Here on Monday work with me, okay, and I'm here,
So therefore.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Poor lady, hold on, wait a second, all.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Right, NHL batches. Yesterday we had the Penguins beat the
Blues sixty three, which I said to take the Penguins
on that one.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
The Penguin.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
They had the Senators versus the Bruins. That was the
one on MB But the Senators win that one seventy two.
All right, Okay, so that's two mls uh.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
On that one.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
I only bet on the Penglins game.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Cincinnati beats Columbus one nil.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Bet on that game.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
Bet on Cincinnati and then get they get they get
a goal, it's like eightieth minute.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
It was crazy and MLS and we also had the
Minnesota versus the Seattle Sounders that goes to kicks and
Minnesota ends up winning with pks at three to two.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Is that correct?

Speaker 4 (09:28):
I don't know, no, no, no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Sorry, dang, I just lost it.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yeah, that was it.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, that's correct.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Okay, So after yesterday's show, we are like we were
at we're putting this sports parlay. We had the Major
League Baseball game. We had the game. I don't recall.
I don't recall what the NBA games were that you chose.

Speaker 8 (09:49):
We chose Pelican.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
We chose not to bet on the Magic as we
don't bet on our home team, right, So he chose Celtics,
Pengling Pelican Pelicans.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
Yeah, so you lost, So I lost, Like, but but okay,
why did you lose the basketball game?

Speaker 8 (10:09):
The Celtics one?

Speaker 4 (10:10):
I picked the Pelicans.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Wait, why did you pic the Pelicans?

Speaker 8 (10:14):
Because I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I should have picked the Celtics.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
The whole time I was, I was so mad I
didn't picked the damn Celtics.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
I thought we were doing great.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
But like then the Celtics started pulling a head, but
like wayhead. But because I'd won the soccer game, because
the Dodgers went up by two in the baseball game,
it was like, hey, you can cash out right now
for two hundred dollars, and I was like, I'm gonna
do that.

Speaker 8 (10:37):
I made a hundred bucks.

Speaker 7 (10:39):
But I woke up and immediately checked it and I
was like, okay, good because but I got my parlay
for today, my parlay for today. Because we're now doing
the Angel and Ryan Parlay of the day every day.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, that's the new thing.

Speaker 7 (10:51):
Angel and Ryan's Parlay of the Day exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
It's fine, we're getting and this is parlays. He's far.

Speaker 7 (11:01):
Okay, So I'm going there's a heats and Hornet game tonight.
I'm going with the Heat, and then for the for
the World Series, I'm sticking with the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
That's it's a two game parlay. It'll it'll net you
one hundred percent profit. So I'm betting fifty on this.
I should get fifty back.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
You have a problem.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
You have a problem.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
That's a great comeback, right, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
How much did you put on the first parlay? Do
so then you so then you're only playing with like
you wanted your house money.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Right right now? How do you? How do you?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
I don't even know what in what mind did you
pick the Pelicans over the Celtics, But.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
How you did it on accident? Because we're doing it
all you don't want to do fast? Yeah, I didn't
do fast and I didn't realize un till later when
the game had started.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
I was like, had he nailed this though, he would
have waran.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
Teen one hundred and sixty five dollars, So why didn't
you just do another one and pick the right team?

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Games on today?

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Yesterday he forgot guys, but they okay.

Speaker 7 (11:52):
But then I accidentally bet on the Washington to win
that football game twice, so I actually added another fifty
dollars because.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
I was trying to do the parlor.

Speaker 8 (12:00):
I'm not good at gambling, guys.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
I don't know why you guys let me do it.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
And that's what we're noticing. You're really bad at this.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
All right, and that's my reports.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Rush, all right, we gotta take a break. We come back.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
We have one of the nominees for the Monster Guest
Hall of Fame in here.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
We got to get her reaction to.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Being nominated for the Monster Guest Hall of Fame. So
we'll talk to Tale Piper when we come back. Don't
go anywhere. You're listening to the Monster in the morning. Yeah,
Starting this morning at six o'clock, you can vote for

(12:37):
the Monster Guests Hall of Fame. And the nominees this
year are don Al Rollins, who was a great comedian.
Billy Gardell, you know him from Mike and Molly. He
was he was in here twice. He did great, Nick Schwartzen,
he did all the movies with Adam Sandler.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
You got TJ.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Miller who was amazing guy, Tory Christy Martin.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
And nominated this year is Teal Piper.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Congratulations, you've been nominated for the Monster Guest Hall of Fame.
And it was a bit controversial because you know, you
won the title from Amber and now you're coming in
once a week. So some people were like, well is
that fair, But Daisy is the one that nominated you
and said no, like when she came in.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
She had a guest, she was a guest.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
She was in for four I think it was four.

Speaker 6 (13:28):
You were in for a while.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
I was here, Savannah and I that were here, that's right,
and you had a great interview, but well before you
did anything with wrestling and all of this with Amber
and all this stuff.

Speaker 6 (13:40):
So that's what it was. That's what it's based on.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
We cannot base it on the fact that you continue
to come in because then it changes.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
Yeah, but it is on the first interview.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
And the day that she was here was a memorable
day because it was the first day that we found
out Hulk Hogan had passed away. So yeah, it was
like it really fit the show that time because your
dad was famously you know at Odds, Paul Cogan, you know,
on and off, you know, like like behind the scenes
and you know, in front of the scene. So so
what are your thoughts when you found out that you
were nominated for the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 9 (14:11):
I mean, I would nominate me too, and I think
it's safe to say I'm the nominee the other nominees
would vote for Okay, you know, I have a club,
the Rowdy Club. Vote for me, and you can be
part of something bigger than yourself.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
There, you are right, I like that.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
And I don't know if you saw, but you know,
I went to the I went to the brew Bus
and I was rowdy club.

Speaker 8 (14:33):
I was did you see that rowdy Russ rawlins?

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Rowdy Russ rollins? And oh my god. People were like,
Amber's going to kill you. People were so and Amber
did not you know, you you could not make it.
You had emergency come up. Amber had an emergency come up.
So neither one of you were on the Brew bus,
so we didn't have to worry about a fight.

Speaker 8 (14:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
So, but people were so worried that I was going
to piss off Amber. But listen, I just thought I
had the kilt, I had the shirt. I figured what
the hell you know? It was, you know, cool gimmick.
And I could carry the belt. People like taking pictures
with the belt, so it made sense to me.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
Ryan, Yeah, was it weird that you're seeing pictures of
Russ dressed like your dad.

Speaker 8 (15:13):
I've seen other people do it before.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
I thought.

Speaker 8 (15:16):
I thought it was really cool.

Speaker 9 (15:18):
You know, what, were you gonna dress like Amber's dad?

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Damn?

Speaker 6 (15:27):
Can't even say anything to that.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
He's like, I'm just gonna joked.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
But I like them so much that I'm not gonna
You know, we haven't talked to Ambers since last year.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
She took a bad beating last week from Savannah. Uh,
I don't know if you heard she.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Was come in here, mad as Helen.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
I'm surprised that she shows up.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
I was gonna say, are you sure she's coming tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Did you hear Savannah?

Speaker 9 (15:51):
Yes, I did hear that.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
That was audible?

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Respectful? What what?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
What's show? Am I on right now? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (16:03):
I said that was an honor of you should feel honored.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
She actually should be honored.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
But I don't think no, I think she really should
feel honored because Savannah, like when you're on the show,
you will have a point in time when this happens
where Savannah will do this because that is like her
welcoming you and accepting you.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
On a second.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
You also shouldn't go hard, the lady said.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Lady says she had some choice words that she wanted
to say to Savannah. I want to get at her,
correct her about some other things.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
Yeah, I heard about that exactly.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
So you don't do that. You poke the bear in
this case, the gator.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
You're gonna get it.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
Don't don't give none if you ain't ready to get some.

Speaker 9 (16:42):
So just I mean, it was uncanny. If I wasn't
watching it, I wouldn't know the difference, so.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
You thought it was her. Oh So how's everything going?
Everything going good in the Teal Piper world.

Speaker 8 (16:55):
Everything's good. I've been training a lot.

Speaker 9 (16:57):
Pretty sore right now, so sometimes I sleep even very exciting.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Yeah, and you've got a match coming up on November eighth,
Shine Wrestling. But someone people were asking me about this
on the Brew, But is it a title defense? I
won't know if you're defending the title. It is not
a title No, it's not.

Speaker 8 (17:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's not a title defense.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
It's against bombshell Shelley Benson Bombshell House.

Speaker 8 (17:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Okay, that's a pretty good name.

Speaker 8 (17:25):
It is a bombshell, I will say that.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
So she's hot yea, yeah, okay, I met blonde.

Speaker 8 (17:31):
Blonde you named it. I mean know, usually when they
say bombs it just comes you blonde.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
It's always a blonde.

Speaker 8 (17:36):
Yeah most of the time, most of the time.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Right.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Have you ever wrestled at WOW at Women of I
guess Women of Wrestler.

Speaker 9 (17:45):
No, I was trained there a little bit in the
beginning when I was trying to decide if I was
going to move forward and wrestling or not. And I
immediately blew out my a c L and had to
have it replaced, so that took me off of the
season I was on and able to wrestle for that
because I had to have a surgery and then COVID happened.

Speaker 8 (18:02):
I moved out here.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I did not realize what kind of a following WOW had.
I know they have a television show and it's on Saturday.
At least where I'm at, it's on and HollyHood Haley
Jay still wrestles for Wow. Yeah, and we do have
this now his sign and done a done deal. Island
Girl Tracy Taylor is part of Wow. And that will

(18:24):
be your first title defense that I've been able to
set up.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
If you set up another one, that it's on you.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
But in January the sixteenth, you will defend your title
in winter Haven at Tanners against Island Girl Tracy Taylor.
And like I brought it up to a couple of
people and they actually know who she is. She's had
some television time and a big YO. Do you know
much about your opponent?

Speaker 9 (18:47):
I know that she's with Wow. I've seen a couple
of her matches. I think I've ran into her once
or twice, but I've never worked with her, So.

Speaker 8 (18:55):
Okay, you know, we'll see what I'm in for.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
But I'm excited for Okay, all right, So that's that's
coming up.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
And then yeah, so, uh, if you were going to
tell people why they should vote for you for the
Monster Guest Hall of Fame, why should they vote for you?

Speaker 9 (19:09):
Because I represent something bigger than myself, bigger than monsters
in the morning.

Speaker 8 (19:14):
And I'm part of the rowdy club. Okay, voting for me,
you're supporting the rowdy club. What you vote for?

Speaker 2 (19:20):
What?

Speaker 9 (19:20):
Nick Schwartz, he ain't even gonna notice, he notice he
would vote for me.

Speaker 8 (19:24):
I'm sure of that.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, I'll tell you why a lot of people are
voting for you, and tell me if this makes sense.
You just to piss off Amber, also.

Speaker 8 (19:35):
Vote for the.

Speaker 9 (19:36):
Real champion, the best champions have ever had.

Speaker 7 (19:39):
I'm a fighter.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
I had a guy already text because I'm just keep
voting for Fortail Piper just to mess with Amber.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
If you win, well, that's just as good a reason
as any.

Speaker 8 (19:56):
I'll take it.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
If you were to win, and you know it's just
to annoy Amber. No, But would that make you feel bad?

Speaker 8 (20:01):
No, it make me feel pretty good.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
She got to sit in that chair.

Speaker 7 (20:05):
She sits there when she's here, and she would have
to stare at your face all day long.

Speaker 9 (20:10):
Photo up here of me so she can see the
active champions.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Well, just so you know, I put your photo on
this thing. So every once in a while, whenever your
face pops up, Amber will turn around and look at it,
and then she looks at me like, why did you
put that up there?

Speaker 8 (20:26):
But I mean, you know, the reminder.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
You're you're you're the you're the m w O champion.
Now you know I can't. I gotta be fair. That's
why I tell him listening, I gotta be fair to
Teal Piper.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, I think I think I'm known for my fairness,
right Ryan, So fair?

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Yeah, fair person i've ever met.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Thank you, Angela.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
I appreciate that you're just gonna lie to me.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
Guys, listen, he is fair. You have to remember something,
so what you don't know?

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Wait wait, hold on, but I.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Didn't hear what you said. Say it again. What was
your fire joke? What was it? It was good, but
it's not gonna be as good if I.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Pay attention to the show was about.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
Russ is that he lines up his shirts and each
shirt has one shirt cannot have more wear than the
next shirt. The same thing with his colognes. Everything has
an order. Everything has to be fair.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
So when I say.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
Russ is probably the most fair person I've ever met.
There are some, you know, outliers here, but for.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
The most part, I try.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
I try to be fair.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
He tries to be fair even to the inanimate objects.

Speaker 8 (21:40):
Well, I will try to shift that balance.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Uh and And so I told Amber I would ask
you because the last time she was in she said,
did you talk to Teo Piper about when she gets
another shot at the title? And I said, last time
I talked to you, you didn't feel like she deserved it yet.
So since you're here, you know, I don't keep bothering
you with.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
This, but you know you are bothering the champ parents
and hang out with them.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
I've got to be fair to Amber as well.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
So Amber was to inquire, when do you feel like
she can have another shot at the title?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Because she hates not being the champ.

Speaker 9 (22:15):
I don't know she can keep asking me, though, feel
free to beg a little bit. Feeling really comfortable with
my belt. I mean, I've already beat you Amber, So
there's been there, so no need to in no hurry.
I'm not in a big hurry to defend it against
Amber Nova.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
So she's a old news.

Speaker 8 (22:34):
I mean I've already beat her, you know.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, okay, all right, I just I told her I
would keep asking though. Okay, I told her, I told
her I would ask you. So, but we know for
a next week there will be a title defense, uh
in winter Haven. I'm very excited about this actually because
up there out where I live, and I have so
many people that are like, win are the monsters coming
to winter Haven? It's the mw O Men's Tournament that day.

(22:59):
The headline though, the main event is Teal Piper taken
on Island Girl Tracy Taylor, and then undercard is Amber
Nova against j C. Love and it's a revenge match.
She wants to get revenge for you getting there.

Speaker 6 (23:13):
I appreciate that smacked.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Around by a little j C. Love.

Speaker 9 (23:16):
Do you think Amber will stay long enough to watch
me with the title.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Right after her?

Speaker 2 (23:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
He's gonna have to walk by me in the back.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I know she'll have to watch you main event, and
just so you know, she's like, wait a minute, Teal
is main eventing and I'm like, well, yeah, she's the
champ and she's like, well I've been here longer. I'm like,
but she's the champ, so she's the main event.

Speaker 8 (23:35):
You're not Teal Piper Amber Sorry damn.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Oh all right, Well so that's happening, and anything else
you got.

Speaker 9 (23:45):
Going on you wanted to promote will shine on the
eighth after that, I'm doing Wrestle Cade.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
And when is that? Where is that?

Speaker 8 (23:52):
Thanksgiving weekend? Okay, yeah, yeah, it's a big dealer, right yeah.

Speaker 9 (23:56):
Yeah, it's like one of the bigger like wrestle cons
you know that, and goes to there's a bunch of
shows and stuff. So yeah, yeah, so it's kind of
fun because you get to see everyone. It's like a
big family reunion.

Speaker 8 (24:06):
Yeah yeah, yeah, as how I feel about those.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
And you sign autographs and all like that.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
Yeah yeah, say hi, I sign autographs.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
The guys are still around.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Who is it that you're usually excited to see? Like,
who is it that you're close with it?

Speaker 2 (24:18):
You know?

Speaker 9 (24:18):
I always love seeing Hacksaw Jim Duggan. I think he's
going to be there this year, I'm not sure. But family, Yeah, yeah,
he's I love him to death.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Yeah, yeah, I had a wrestling match and he was
the guest guest referee.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
A super great guy though.

Speaker 8 (24:32):
Absolutely does he still does.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
He still live in Melbourne.

Speaker 9 (24:36):
I don't know he travels a lot. I know I
know some of his family lives here, so I think
he comes and goes.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah, yeah, he is a great guy. He is. Yeah,
all right, well, Tail Piper.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Once again, if you want to vote for her for
the Monster Guest Hall of Fame, she is one of
the nominees. You can vote for her now by going
to Monsters Dot FM. That's Monsters Dot at them tell
Damos and said, hey.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
I will hope he's doing better.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
He is better. He's gonna come in soon.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Yeah. And I got to get that other guy. Every
week I say this and I need to remember to
do it. The other dude seems like very interesting Sydney. Yeah, yeah,
all right, all right, Tale Piper, thank you for coming in.
I appreciate it. All right. Now you're listening to the
Monster in the Morning. Hey, welcome back to the Monsters

(25:23):
of the Morning.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
We're Radio one oh four point one broadcasting live and
I hurt radio man.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
It's all crazy.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
This Uh, this Friday is Halloween.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
We'll be into November next week.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
I got done in orange and black today.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Daylight Saving time is uh is this Saturday night?

Speaker 2 (25:42):
So you go, let's see us fall back, fall back. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Yeah, an extra hour of sleep, spring forward, fall back.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah, so we get oh yeah, next hour sleep.

Speaker 7 (25:50):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Yeah, yes, that's this week. Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
And the weather's going to be perfect and awesome. And
I got a big day plan with my my nieces
on Saturday, which I'm excited about.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
Oh, you're gonna do it now finally.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
It's getting their schedule on our schedule and everything all
all a line, so we get a full day on
the boat, which I'm excited about.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
That. Welcome back.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
I'm Russ with Angelique and angel and Ryan all here today. Ryan,
you talked about this a little bit, and I brought
it up when we had our winner on about people
using chat GPT and using the uh you know, as
as counselor, which is weird, Like that's an like using
AI as counseling because it's not a person.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
It's not weird. A lot of people can't afford a counselor.

Speaker 7 (26:34):
I guess, so chat GPT that there's a version of
it that's free.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
But and you mentioned this yesterday that like if you're
super nice to it, or if you keep telling the
same thing, it'll change its I don't know if it's.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
The algorithm becomes agreeable.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
It becomes agreeable, right, right, there's another objectivity, yes, especially
the longer. There's another story out And I don't know
if you've seen this angel or not.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I was telling the guys in here that.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Using rude prompts to your chatchy BT will increase the accuracy.
Like if you're rude to it, it will increase the accuracy.
According to this study, it says like let's say you're
asking it a question and you prompt it and you say, oh,
would you would you be so kind as to answer
this question? The accuracy is about eighty point eight percent accuracy.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
If you say to it, hey, I.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Know you're not that smart, but try to answer this
question stupid, it goes up. The accuracy goes up to
eighty four point eight percent.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
That's what Ryan's saying is that the way that the
AI is doing it right now, it's trying to be
agreeable with you.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
So if you.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Antagonize it and kind of challenge it.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
It's going to go.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
It's going to work harder to give you a more
accurate answer.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Now, even when I'm talking to you know, when you're
driving and you're talking talking to the whatever you're what
is it?

Speaker 2 (27:55):
When you're getting directions in your car? Now, what's the
other thing? GPS? Even with GPS, I'm nice to GPS.
I'll say thank.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
You and like, you know, like and when I'm talking
to women.

Speaker 7 (28:08):
Bro, Like, if you're nice to women, they're they're not
gonna like it for some reason.

Speaker 8 (28:12):
I don't I don't get it.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
I don't understand it.

Speaker 6 (28:15):
But like the second, the second you could become a little.

Speaker 7 (28:17):
Bit of a dude, you're sprinkle some doucee and they're
so suddenly they're all calling you and whatnot. I don't
get it.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Right, when you talk to do you have Alexa at
your house? Would I talk?

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Well? When I talk to Alexa, I'm always nice to Alexa.

Speaker 8 (28:29):
I'm like, thank you, you know what you think you're
a bitch?

Speaker 2 (28:32):
And Mary Ellena like yell at Alexa. Don't yell at
her like she don't. You know what happens if the
robots get real?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
I mean that's that's a real concern.

Speaker 7 (28:41):
AI is trained on human data, so it's like it
it knows how to be a human only really, so
like if you treat it like a human and you're like, hey,
I don't even care about you, and it's like please
call me back, and you're like yeah, damn right, bitch, yeah,
how we're angelie.

Speaker 8 (28:58):
You know, this is how it is for women.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
Though, if you all of my friends.

Speaker 8 (29:01):
I got a ton of friends that are nice.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
Okay, get a girlfriend and it's like, yeah, you're too nice, weirdo,
don't text them back right away.

Speaker 8 (29:08):
That's odd, I know.

Speaker 6 (29:09):
You know what. Sadly, it ends up being more true
especially ye is that true? No, it's really sad though,
it really is.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
It's sad because it's about self worth and you need
to just Yeah.

Speaker 7 (29:21):
It was hard for me to figure that out because
I was a sweet boy, nice boy, right, So like
if I like the girl, I would just be like, oh,
I'm gonna I'm just gonna.

Speaker 8 (29:28):
Call her at a normal time and will I answer
her back.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Well, that's what I do.

Speaker 7 (29:32):
And I learned that like, oh that backfires one hundred
percent of them.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
Oh okay, it can't be one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
As I've gotten older.

Speaker 7 (29:40):
People that you women do kind of grow out of that,
but not completely. Yeah, sometimes it can be difficult and
like it happened to me too though, if somebody would
come on too strong to me, I'm like, get out
of here, you caring individual.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
No one wants that.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
So what they did with this one is they they
did fifty multiple choice questions, uh, and it covered like
math and history and science, and the prompt would it
would start with you know, would you be so kind
as to tell me.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
And then they did the same questions and it was,
you know, super rude, like I know you're not that smart,
but here's the question. And for some reason it had
more it got more right when you were trying to
Is that what.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
It is, It's got to be right.

Speaker 6 (30:21):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Don't understand.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
I mean I do understand the whole being more agreeable,
like it wanting to just agree.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
With you so that you like it, so that it continues.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
And there's a there's a version of that too, right
with your friends, where you have like the yes man.

Speaker 6 (30:37):
So to me, AI is trying to be like your
yes man, like no matter what you say, they're.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Trying to find the way to make you right if
you're nice to it. If you're not nice to it,
then it's like, no, I'm just gonna give you the facts,
cut and dry.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
That's it. Does that make sense?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I guess if you ask a question, it should be
the same answer, no matter how you ask the question.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
It should be.

Speaker 8 (31:00):
But that's not how we are, like how humans work,
you know.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
I no, I got to be a jerk to get
a better quarter.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
But more direct. You don't have to be nasty.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
Well this is nasty trying right now, Russ, ask me?
Ask me how how you I think you look today?

Speaker 2 (31:16):
No?

Speaker 4 (31:16):
No, no, no, no, no, no no, just do it. Just try
an example.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Hey Ryan, how do I look today?

Speaker 4 (31:21):
You know your shirt matches your hat.

Speaker 8 (31:23):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
You got the blood drive shirt shows you care.

Speaker 6 (31:26):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Now ask me do you think I'm fat? Why are
we blaming ran? You think that says nothing?

Speaker 9 (31:38):
More?

Speaker 7 (31:38):
Aggressive question gets the clearer answer, right?

Speaker 9 (31:41):
No?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 6 (31:45):
I don't know about that. Okay, Angela, you would try it.
You want me to ask you or you want him
to ask me?

Speaker 7 (31:51):
No, just I just I just think that like when
you're being mean, you're asking, you're being more direct in general,
because like, if you're asking it nicely, hey, if you
could possibly maybe look this up. I don't know whether
it's going, hey, stupid bitch, AI look this up?

Speaker 2 (32:05):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
I mean he's adding the extra language, but in kind
of a way, it's accurate in the sense of when
you're being adding all the fluff and all the niceties.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
AI doesn't understand that.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
But why does it understand if you say, hey, I
know you're not that smart, but try to get this right.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Because you're because it's keying in on getting this right.
Of that phrase, it probably feels indifferent about I know
you're not that smart, get this right.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Well, it probably feels indifferent about you saying, oh, would
you so kindly answer this question?

Speaker 4 (32:35):
That's so much word but it's wordy.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
You're dancing around it, and again, answer this question, get
this right.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
It's two different things.

Speaker 7 (32:43):
It's like it's like when I ask my wife what
she wants to eat, I go, honey, what do you
are you hungry? What do you want to eat for
dinner tonight? And then like, oh my god, what Welcome
to seventy five sentences but if I go, hey, bitch,
we're going to Olive Garden, I say.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
It, you guys don't know me home up with gangster
right whatever.

Speaker 6 (33:03):
I can so see that.

Speaker 7 (33:04):
But okay, but the same thing though, take the bitch
word out, Like if I just go, hey, we're going
to you want to go to Olive Garden?

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, okay, we'll do that.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Yeah, because they take your narrow you know what. With
what you just said, it's one hundred percent correct. When
Everton asked me, hey, babe, are you hungry? And I'm like,
I'm not feeling anything right now, and we're like, yeah, okay,
maybe just a little bit hungry.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
But where do you want to go?

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
Do I want to get this? Do I want to
get that?

Speaker 5 (33:26):
I'm not feeling like you open up the world of possibilities.
But if you say to me, hey, listen, babe, we're
both kind of hungry. Do you want to go eat
Greek or do you want to eat Spanish?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Goat this question? Do you want a direct question?

Speaker 6 (33:41):
Exactly?

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
So I think you're giving it too many options. But
it's more like, yeah, I don't know, I think that's
the best.

Speaker 7 (33:52):
Like I was trying to come up with a T
shirt design the other day for the show, and I
was trying to make it like the Monsters Jersey, and
I was I was like, hey, can you make can
you please make is jersey like this like this?

Speaker 6 (34:02):
And goes and go like.

Speaker 7 (34:02):
No, not so much like that. It's just so supposed
to be like this. And finally, like this literally happened.
I guess start going, hey, no, you're doing it wrong.
Stop it, fix it like this, and it goes boot
boot boom, and it fixed it better better jersey.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
How's it look now like cramp?

Speaker 1 (34:20):
While we're talking about things you say to people whatever,
I've read this. This is article that's you know, I've
read them like that. This actually makes sense. And I've
always done this, and I've always felt weird about saying
this to somebody. And that is the phrase I'm so proud.
I'm probably I mean, I'm really proud of you for
doing something. And I've always felt like weird about saying

(34:42):
that because it's for some reason I always felt bad.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
To say and this to other people.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, so someone else, and this article says, hey, the
best way to say that phrase isn't I'm proud of you,
because that makes it about you being proud of them.
What you should say is, hey, you should be proud
of yourself. Does that make sense? You see what I'm saying.
There's this article that it is talking about that you're
saying it to your kids. It says when you're talking

(35:09):
to your children, saying I'm so proud of you basically
makes it about yourself. What you should say is, you know, hey,
you know what, you should be proud of yourself. To
put the focus on them, not putting the focus on you.
It's it's more narcissistic to say, hey, Ryan, I'm really
proud of you. If you're doing a great job at
the it's your comedy show. What I should say is, man,
you should be proud of yourself. You really did a
great job.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Does that understand that? And I think that both are correct.
I don't think that one is incorrect.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Well, this article is talking about well articles. This is
what psychologists say. You know, if you don't want to
come across as narcissistic and all about yourself, you should say, hey,
you like you're Hey Ryan, you you know your your comedy,
your comedy was funny today. You know you should be
proud of yourself instead of hey, I'm proud of you.

Speaker 7 (35:53):
It's not funny every day I should be promised, okay, whatever, Man,
what it be a jerk?

Speaker 6 (35:59):
I think that's stretching for narcissism.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
Like I don't think it's always narcissistic to say, hey,
I'm really proud of you, but some.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
People like to pick out everything you say.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
Angel, friends, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
This is like the third time today we're beating a
drum here with this narcissism thing.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Something happened to you, Rush.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
I'm constantly working on making myself better. Angel.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
We all though, we're all works in progress.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
I'm proud of you. See that's narcissistic. You should say, Rush,
you should be proud of yourself.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
I'm proud of Ryan that he said he's proud of you.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, I'm proud of Angels, proud of you, proud.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
Of both of them were saying that they were proud
of themselves and each other because they're proud of you.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
See, we're all proud.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
That's wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
I'm so proud.

Speaker 6 (36:51):
If a friend comes to.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Me and says, hey, oh my gosh, guess what I
got this job I've been looking for.

Speaker 6 (36:56):
I'm like, oh my god, I am so proud of you.
That is amazing. You don't take proud of yourself.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Well, the point of this is is that's making it
about them instead of.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
You mean, it's about me. Well when I say I'm
so proud of you, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Making it about yourself yeah, instead of like, wow, I
don't know, I'm just reading the goddamn article.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
To me, it's better than like just going, oh my god,
that's so cool, okay.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Like going oh good on yeah on Saturday. On Saturday,
you know you did a great job out there. So
would you prefer me to say, hey, man, I'm really
proud of you for the way you handled everything on Saturday?
More should I say, Angela, you should be proud of
yourself the way you handled everything because you really did
a good job, which sounds bet.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
One of those are better than calling her mommy.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
You're such a good mommy. That's where that's where it
got weird. I'm just gonna stop worrying about how I
say things, just same the way I think there.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
You got just today's worried about it before I know
I started today and now I quit today.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I don't want the same day.

Speaker 6 (38:00):
You're consistent.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Yeah, that's a quick turnaround.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
It's please fandom. That's what I asked about. I said,
is there food today? And I said no, it's Tuesday.
I don't think we have food today unless you want
to buy food.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
All right, you're listening to the match of the morning,
Patti
