uh it's Friday night, right, Friday night?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Where is Friday? So? Uh So then.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Angels got to clean it up and and uh and
well he'll let I guess you'll let the program director
listen to it and then he'll tell you what he
what has to be cut out?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Is that what happens? No, he finds out like when
everybody else finds out.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Okay, I like I like it that way too. That's
much better. So who knows what will end up there?
Uh So we got to do that today. We got
Kylie Blakeley coming in today and Bernova. I think another
guest's coming in too, so uh uh it is it
is a Wednesday. We're getting closer to Thanksgiving. Yesterday, you
know what, I'm going to give props for props were due.
I'm trying to get in once again, trying to be

(03:47):
a better person as I'm getting older. Uh So I
want to make sure I give the proper proper credit,
uh where you're supposed to. So yesterday we had a
meeting with one of these names that you know, like
when you work in a big, huge company like iHeartMedia
and that. For those of you that have worked in
large companies, you know, you kind of know what it's
like if you never have. Uh, here's what happens. Sometimes

(04:08):
you'll see names come across your you know, your email
and stuff, and you're like, Okay, I see that name,
but I don't know the face that goes with that name.
I know that's a big you know, a big to do.
That's you know, he's he's important, but I don't know
what he does. Really, I don't know what the you know,
I just know that this is an important guy because
whenever something big happens.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
His names on the you know, on the email. One
of these.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Guys was coming in town yesterday, uh, in order to
want to talk to the monsters and have a meeting
with us.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I'm like, okay, you know, it's kind of there's nothing
more disconcerting when it seems to happen kind of will
and nilly at the last minute. Oh, by the way,
so and so is coming and he wanted to talk
to you.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yeah, well I knew the day before, and and I
didn't know that till yesterday.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I didn't know who all was invited.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
They just said, hey, Russ, we need you to talk
to Mark Chase tomorrow. I'm like, okay, cool, I didn't
know that you guys were coming. I'm glad you were.
That was just the instructions I had. So they're like,
so yeah, right last minute. And Angel's like, hey, why
are we what's going on?

Speaker 1 (05:05):
We're getting close to the holidays and there's a suit in.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
I you were legitimately worried, because that happens sometimes.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I know the track record of the place that we were.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
So this guy, Mark Chase, he's the vice president of
Strategic Services. Now it's one of those things. I don't
know what that means. I'll be honest with you. The
vice president of strategic Services, okay, But I know he's
been around for a long time. He was vice president
of programming. I believe at one time. He's he's got
a lengthy career and he was with a Clear Channel

(05:36):
I believe way back in the day. And and I
know he used to he he started up the with
the power Pig or whatever in Tampa. That was like
his station. So, I mean, you know, he's been around
for a long time. He's one of them names I've
seen a lot.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Now. If I've met him before, I don't remember. Are
you serious? I don't remember I have You've met him here?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
We met him?

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Here, I met him with him?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Or fourth time?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Is it? Okay? Well, I don't know. I think I
met him. I'm not really positive.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, one time, like a couple of years ago, when
it was just all just all on air talent and
we were over there by Rick's office. Yeah, and he was.
That was well, there was two of those guys. There
was a tall guy yeah in him.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
And then him. Okay, okay, oh yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
That was that was the tall game he does. He's
probably on part president guy.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
He was on par with the regional Yeah, he gets
confusing to me.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
They be They're two distinctly different positions. This the tall
guy was our regional guy. He's got like he's like
our super super bod. Okay, okay, so this guy is
a big deal. So and Mark's like, right, like, let's
say right parallel.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
So so Mark Chase is in town to talk to us,
and uh and and we're not blowing smoke up your
your your bh when we're telling you that we've had
an incredible year, like with the ratings have been like
what the.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Hell the monster's doing?

Speaker 4 (06:51):
You know, It's like, you know, uh, in my thirty
three years, this has been the best year of ratings ever.
And I know that makes some people all crazy. They're like, well,
like a better back when wars. I remember, well, you know,
like what you want. The fact of the matter is
now is the heyday. Like now, now is when people
are like, oh my god, monsters are killing it, which
is awesome, it's great, and you know, it's all good news.

(07:13):
Uh So, uh, Mark Chase was coming in town, and
when I was told, hey, he just wants to, you know,
say thanks for you guys busting your ass.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
And that's what I knew. But Angel didn't know that.
Angel's like, why are we going to a big WEIG meeting?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Which guy?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Wait it's gonna be uh Jack Rick and this guy?
Yeah boy?

Speaker 4 (07:31):
And then Ryan Ryan got invited too, and Ryan you
were like you you were kind of like Angel, like,
why are we going?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Why are we going to go this thing?

Speaker 4 (07:41):
I didn't care, You're gonna cared, Okay, So we go
to we go to the meeting, and it couldn't have
been you know, I mean like it's the kind of
stuff Russ needs to hear, right, like, like you know,
you know.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
They just the path of Russ on the back of one.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I mean basically, the guy's like, listen, man, I don't
know what you're doing, but don't change nothing like great
that you know, I can't believe. He was very very nice,
very just you know, complimentary about how great the show is.
My god, with which other people could do what you're doing,
you can't, and that one of the things he said
that it was something I've thought of, but you know,
I'm glad someone else realized it, because you can't just
start up one of.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
These, right, You just can't start up with monsters.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
It's the longevity, it's the you know, you put the
time in h You just can't go and hire a
bunch of people and create the monster.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
It's just impossible.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
And I want you to know that we know that,
which is all the really nice things you know to
hear in all.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Really good stuff.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
And here's where I realized I did drop the ball,
because listen, I haven't wanted anything for some time. I'm
happy with the cast, I'm happy with every where everything
is going. Everything in my mind and everything is good.
Like You're like, hey, listen, don't don't mess with us.
We'll keep doing what we're doing. It's all good. So
he asked me, He's like, well, you know, what else,
what can I do for you? What else can I
do for you? And I honestly had no answer. I'm like, nothing,

(08:57):
Just let us keep doing what we're doing, you know,
leave us alone. It's all wonderful, it's all good. And
I got to give Ryan Holmes credit because Ryan, you
did speak up and you asked for something that I've
asked for fifty times but it's always never really happened.
So I just stopped asking, and that's my fault.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
And I've kind of.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Felt like, oh, Russ, that was bad leadership. You did
bad there. But at least Angel I mean, at least
Ryan had your back with bringing up the fact that, hey,
you promote all these other podcasts all over the nation.
Why would you not promote us like you promote the
you know, the Breakfast Club or whatever like, And he
was like, yeah, you're right about that, Hey, Rick.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Get on that, do that right now. And I'm like,
oh my.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
God, idea, By the way, I give what am I doing?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
I giving you credit.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
I know you've said it before, but because he listened
to me my idea.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
I have said it so many times that I've blew
in the face, and I stopped asking for it, you know.
And I should have done it right then when we're
talking to a vice president of strategic services.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
But I was like, hey, hey, listen, we're fine.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
It's good and and I'm glad that you said that
because it was important because they do promote a whole
bunch of other.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Things, uh that I don't do that. Yeah, things, I'm like,
what are they?

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Why are they putting that and not promoting the monsters
who we've created, And we've become number one on like
podcasts or stuff in Florida without all of your uh
commercials we'd asked for. We're doing it on our own.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
If you promoted us nationally, it would be better for
you and better for us and better for the whole
you know, better for the world if you promoted us.
And and you spoke up and you said it, and
as soon as you said it, he's like.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Rick, ever get on that.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
I'm like, oh damn, I should have asked for that,
and I didn't, And I want to thank you for
thinking of it, because I had totally forgotten about it.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
You're welcome there you go.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I'm a hero and you know what, and I'm a
better person for for thanking you for it.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
That's what doctor Renney.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
That's what doctor rene would say, and he probably would say, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
They probably would say, that's not the way you.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Pointed out way you was insane. But I did it
and that's all that counts. I thank you properly.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Uh as another, I'm proud of you.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
You know what, you should be proud of yourself. Ryan,
I'm getting better.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Did what I would do.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
No, I know, I'm saying I dropped the ball. Listen,
I'm flat out saying I dropped the ball. I should
have been the one thinking of that.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
I didn't. And when you said it, I'm like.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Damn right, yeah, the guy I felt like that congratulations.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
I felt like that moment was like, hey, you guys
are the best of the company, hands down. You guys
need anything, and I'm like, I feel like you mean
it right now, so I'm.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Just gonna start rappid firing off stuff.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
He did mean it right there, but there's a lot
of times.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
He did this. Meetings like, what do you guys need.
I'm like, you ain't gonna you ain't gonna do nothing.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
Yeah, well that's what I was. I think that's where
that's where I've gotten to. But I've gotten to the
point where, like, listen, we're number one without all the
stuff we ask you for.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
So we're fine, We're good.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
And and I should have asked for more promotion nationwide,
uh for for the podcast.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
I should have said was more money, That's what.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
That's what Angel asked me AFTERCAS was that the time
I was supposed to ask for money, I was king
I was a joke amongst us friends.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
It's not necessarily to be aired out ross.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
That actually was the time I was, to be honest
with you. I thought about that afterwards.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
Like that wasn't the time you know, better, better ratings,
more money for the KD.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
No, I was not the breakfast most days.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Oh but anyway, I thought it was a great Meetia though,
didn't you, Angel?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Oh yeah, I thought it was. It's really cool to
hear sometimes get that feedback from the top, you know,
so absolutely I thought that was cool.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
They flew in, drove down here and waited for a
show to be over to sit down and talk to us.
I mean I thought I was you know, I was
pretty happy.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
No, absolutely, and making that distinction of giving us, you know,
given his time to us specifically, you know, we had
thirty forty five minutes with them, you know.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
Yeah, you know what I thought afterwards, though, when I
saw that I dropped the ball in that question. All
I could think about on the way home was a
man rest. Are you are things too What is it
called when things are too good? Are you complacent? Is
that the word complacent? Are you complacent?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Rus?

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Are you like you should have thought of that? You
didn't think of that? I beat myself up all the
way home.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
I would So that's what I'm saying. The only thing
I would have appreciated more is just given more context
of what the meaning was about that way, we could
have maybe, you know, kind of something prepared like workshop
something and be like, hey, if this comes up, let's
let's you know, let's have our duction in order and uh,
because I sometimes I think that that's not saying that
this is what that was, But sometimes I think that's

(13:28):
a tactic where and it keeps you on the back
foot because you're just be getting receiving all these accolades, right,
and you're like and you forget, like, oh wait, I
could use this, we could use this, we could use this.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
You know what I'm saying that is you're so crap.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
I was. I was basking in the glory of being
being praised, so I couldn't think of anything. No, everything
is good. I mean, we're number one, like, you know,
we're fine, we don't need anything. And an old you know,
with a grumpy face, he's like, well, we could use
and I was like, damn, I'm glad he said that
because I literally didn't think about it.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
And and uh, well until.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
He says that, because then I basically open the floodgates
because at that point then we're like, okay, you know
we could we could also use this, We could also
use this, you know. And so there was a couple
of things that were written down, you know.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:13):
So anyway, there you go. I thank you that you
don't get No, that's not how this works. I don't
then thank you for thank you. Need more reading. Maybe
go back and try again. I'll go over it with
we're another hit of reading and come back to me.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
I'm halfway there, though, I'm a little bit better than
I used to be.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
All Right, we'll take a little break. Don't go anywhere.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
You're listening to the Match of the Morning. Hey, welcome

(15:03):
up to the Monsters of the Morning Radio one o
four point one, broadcasting live on iHeartRadio along with Ryan
and Angel.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
A little bit later on, we got amb Renova coming in.
We'll she'll do uh amb Renova's truth Seeker.

Speaker 6 (15:15):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
And then we got that Kylie Blakely's got presents for
us guys. So she's coming in, Uh, bringing some gifts.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
And better not be some kind of vegan chocolate. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I know.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
I hate when people give you stuff like that and
expect you to like it.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Right, you gotta pretend to eat it, yeh Yeah, pretend
we enjoying this. So after the show yesterday, like I said,
great meeting. It was awesome. I did appreciate what uh
uh you know Ryan brought up. And then uh and
then uh, driving out, I had to go buy Carl
Black yesterday again to uh to switch up my vehicle.
They have to do a little work on a Blazer.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
And I'm thinking about getting another another vehicle.

Speaker 5 (15:51):
Uh, are getting a Suzuki? Why you got a Suzuki hat.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Oh, okay, Well, the Suzuki hat is because the guy
that owns the company where I got my boat, know,
my my pontoon boat. I have a Suzuki what is
it called a Susuki stealth engine on it. So he
gave me the Suzuki hat because the engine is the
most quiet engine you've ever heard on a pontoon boat.
It's amazing, Like when Bo came Moune, He's like, you
can't even hear it running. It really is cool. So

(16:16):
he gave me this hat. And then yesterday I wore
my uh vagina hat.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
No, not vagina.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
It was a vagina head.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Every time he posted that he was all proud of
his yea yesterday and he was doing that. You didn't
bother to look at the comments, did you?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah, a straight up badge hat it was.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
It was for Viagio, which is the pontoon.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
But you keep yelling and screaming that all you want
rush or ninety five percent of the people arm boaters
don't know anything about that. All they see is vagina.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
Vagina on the poon tune that was one of the
poon too. I didn't know it was a quiet poon
tune too.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
That's fun.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
It's a very quiet poon tune.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
I took you know what I did yesterday, and it's
just I know it's weird. I know you'll consider it weird.
Most of the audience will consider it weird. But I
had time to myself yesterday. Mary Allen was working till
like one in the morning.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
I left handed it.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Uh no, no.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
But after I did all the stuff I had, I
had to cut some commercials at the house and I
had to.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
I had to. It takes.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
It took me like a half hour to cut up boxes,
which I know, you know we all have to probably
cut up boxes now, right because if you get stuff
from Amazon, you get all this leftover boxes. You can't
just throw them at you got to cut them up.
So I had to do all that, and then I
just jumped in the boat. I took some video and
put it on you know, uh, social media and stuff,
because you know it. You know, it's nice to do
that and it always gets a lot of hits. But

(17:31):
I took the boat out into this one lake where
just planes land all the time, and I turned it
off through the anchor out and cleaned the boat in
the middle of the lake, turn on music, got all
my I got all my cleaner and clean the boat
in the middle of lake, and it, for whatever reason,
can't tell you why it brings me joy. I enjoy
cleaning the boat and listening to music. Can anyone identify.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
No, No, i'ds like a terrible day.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
That's called chor no equit that is, uh, you like
watching the boat my car? Yeah, so, and I'm like,
I'm way behind on that right now. My car looks
like a mess right down. But uh, like I got
all the proper cleaners and everything and all this stuff,
and like a pretty cool vacuum to use for the
car and everything, and I like doing that. So that's

(18:18):
what I would equate that too, So I.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Guess it is the same thing.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Yeah, I've got special boat cleaner, and I've got these special.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Towels the rags or towels or whatever.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Joy's the right way. Like for me, it's like a
zen kind of thing. Okay, the moment is zen. Maybe
that's the word actually zen. Yeah, I was listening to
some great music.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
I'm in the middle of the lake, I'm watching the
I'm watching the planes land.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I just thought about going to get a beer and
I'm like, I don't need a beer. I did. I
just got happiness. I'm just doing that.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Something's wrong with you.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
I'm teasing you know, so that that brought me, That
brought me all kinds of of joy.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
Whatever makes you happy, buddy, That's really what it's all about.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
Right, Yeah, even if it's super lame things and make
you weird, it's not super late, right what hey, some
people do there's a lot of blame's hobbies out there.
Some people collect Pokemon cards. Okay, I don't judge them either.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Okay, Well, I appreciate also nerds.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Well, something I did do yesterday after I got done
cleaning the boat and all that stuff and hanging out
and watching the sunset, I put up a link for
the Camping World Stadium event that we're doing, the Cure Ball.
It's it's on our website now, so you'll see it's
big and pink, and you know it's got our stuff
on it. If you click on that, you can get
tickets to make it easy for everybody. So I try

(19:31):
to take care of our website and make sure everything
they would ever want from the Monsters is at Real
Radio Monsters dot com. So I did that yesterday, just
so you know, if you want to go get those
tickets for that, it's available.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
So there you go. So what did you do after
the meeting yesterday?

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Angel So actually got a afternoon with my daughter. Had
to take her to her hair appointment and that was fun.
She's doing the whole thing now where she's becoming super
girly girl, right, and so you know.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
She's now what sixteen fifteen fifteen? Yeah, yeah, uh.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Continuera, Yes, said, yeah, so did that and just really
it's you know, getting time to hang out with her.
So it was basically doing that.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
And because those times we'll get shorter and shorter as
she gets older and older.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
So like for example, like she's you know, like this
is why this weekend, like we're going to do the
Christmas tree thing and everything, because for Thanksgiving she's going
up to uh see her other side of the family.
They're up in Ohio. Typically we would get to split
up the holidays between her mom and I, but like
you know, she's at that age and her grandparents were
hooking her up with a car and so you know

(20:47):
she's really excited to get up there.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
So yeah, that's good. Yeah, So it's good.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yeah, are you aware of the like as time goes on,
you know, she'd there would be friends she want to
hang out with, they'll be you know, boyfriends.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
So the interesting thing is that so far and she's
been like, we have a pretty good line of communication.
And she's right now in this moment that she's in,
she's really about her circle of friends, and she's got
a really cool, good circle of friends. A year ago,
maybe maybe a couple of years ago, she was kind
of had a friend that was a boy, but then

(21:21):
he ended up being kind of lame, and so she
and I've always kind of raised her like boys are dumb,
you know, and so so from that moment, I haven't
had to really deal with that, but she has had.
You know, there's times where she's like that I would
just you know, one of her best friends that like
they'll take her scalloping and stuff like that. That family
does and they do all that kind of stuff, and

(21:42):
I'm like, yeah, go do that because those are those
are really cool moments and when you get to go
do or experience those kinds of things and it's really
sure cool family and everything. So you know, there have
been moments like that, right right.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Ryan, you have a good day after our big meeting.
How does it?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
I know you don't like compliments, right, So how does
a meeting like that on you?

Speaker 5 (22:00):
Because I like them from big big bosses.

Speaker 6 (22:03):
Okay, when you give them, I hate them?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
No yeah, well no no no no, I want me
to do it. I just don't like it.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
I will stop.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
I do this. I do this with my wife all
the time. My wife.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
My wife sometimes will compliment me like a grandma does.
Like my wife will like I walk into roos, like
you're so handsome, O, my goodness, so handsome. To that,
I'm like, okay, grandma, And but like I want her
to do it still, you know, even though I'm like.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
So do you like it?

Speaker 3 (22:31):
So do you do? You want me to do it?
Do you know?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
I want you to do it? But I'm not going
to react any differently, don't. That's how it works with me.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
Sorry.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
I'm like, I'm like a cat man, Okay, your cat,
I'm a cat, all right, Like like cats.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Up to you.

Speaker 6 (22:50):
Like if a cat comes up to you, that's cool,
and like you can pet the cat and it's nice.
And then when the cat walks away, just let him
go away, don't walk up to the cat and pet
them and expect him not to scratch you.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Let me talk to Angel for a second.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Angel, So I've been super complimentary of him for the
past couple of weeks. You know, let him know that
he's appreciated him. Know, he did a great job with
George Wallace. When he tells a funny joke we go
to break, I'm my man, that was a good job. So,
but he doesn't act like it means a flip to him, right,
And he just said, she just said I don't want
I don't like him when to come from you? So
Angel and you and I are talking and he's not

(23:24):
involved here.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Uh, I just stop, just stop, just.

Speaker 6 (23:30):
Because because it's worth it. That one time that the
cat comes the lays in your life.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
It would be worse. Yeah, it would be.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
Worse if I realize this, and it's not a perfect
it's going to be worse if you don't.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yeah, it looks like he doesn't care. And he just
said he doesn't care, said I care.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
I just don't like it.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah don't. Yeah, I don't believe the words that are
coming out of his mouth. He's just awkward with it.
You know, he is an awkward guy. All right, so.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Your kid cat coat, No no wait, this is this
is your analysis, your cat playing in your world. So
when you get compliments like that from the big, big
big bosses and they're telling you, man, you.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Guys, don't here, just just do what you're doing.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Man, don't don't don't mess with anything, how does that
make you feel?

Speaker 5 (24:20):
Uh? We'll see if anything gets done differently, you know,
because like we do work.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
We didn't ask well, the only thing we asked for
was just that.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
I'm telling you how I look at it.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
We do.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
We we work our ass off here, right, we go
above and beyond. But like a lot of other shows
do correct as far as like, and we're I would
put us up against any show that this company has.
We're just as entertaining and funnier than anything they got
going on out there. And we put we have to
put the work in extra. We do all this extra
stuff like show it. So when the big boss comes

(24:54):
and they're like, oh, great job, it's like, yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
No, ask great job. Now, what are you gonna help
us with to make it better?

Speaker 4 (25:03):
I do? I look, thank you for acknowledging, and I
appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
And we'll just keep doing what we're doing.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Now, I'm not gonna keep doing what we're doing. Help
facilitate me to make it better.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, but that also there's some of that that we
have to carry. Yeah, all we do is carry.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
No no, no no.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
But so like, for example, you know, the last time
that we asked for national our promo to be run nationally,
we turned it in, we produced, it was turned in,
but none of us followed through and asked to see
if we are asked if it was hurt anywhere else?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Yeah, I did ask locally yea.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, And so we've done that once before, but the
I mean the other several times. No, no, no, not ask Okay,
hear what I'm saying, not asking to have the spot
done or having it runs. The follow through is hey, listeners,
are you here? Like if you're on the iHeartRadio app
and you live in Wisconsin, you should be able to
hear that spot, right, That's what That's what I'm saying.
We didn't follow through with it because that last spot

(25:58):
was supposed to be run national.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Only too well from what yeah before I told they
just ran it in Florida, they didn't run it nationally.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yeah, Okay, but I'm like, well why not, I don't know,
don't understood, Okay, and I get that, I understand that.
But even then, even with that, we didn't ask, hey,
are you hearing this in Miami? Are you hearing this
in Jacksonville? Are you out of the listening here? Or
even even our people, even our regular listeners here, if
they're listening through the app, they should have heard that promo.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Someone said you should have asked for the new mouse
that you needed. Mouth, I don't know that was good
time to ask for a mouse.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
You got big picture stuff.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Yeah, you guys got stuff. You got got that stuff.
There's a keyboard and mouse that was left for Ryan.
Yours is coming. Your keyboard and mouse is coming soon
as well. Okay, but that stuff was left there for you.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
You know, well, good, then I don't need anything.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Well, my question was so so you felt like afterwards,
well we deserved that.

Speaker 5 (26:47):
You were not deserved.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
It didn't make you happy.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
We work very hard and like I believe this show
could be a lot bigger than it is if they
would just help facilitate us doing that.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Like it's a big company to put push the push
the cream. The cream needs to rise. It to the
top for.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
Us to quote macho man, and I just don't know
like and and the thousands of bureaucracies and red tapes
that I have to run into around this place to
get anything done.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
It's super frustrating and I just don't think it needs
to be that way. So why what do we do.

Speaker 6 (27:19):
I work hard to get the recognition, so then they
then go, let's help help me, help you, and let's
make it bigger.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Okay, Well, you know, I asked you how you felt,
so I appreciate you telling me.

Speaker 5 (27:32):
And I I thought to meet him yesterday was great.

Speaker 6 (27:34):
I really like Mark Chase, and he seemed very genuine
about wanting to wanting to help and facilitate that, so
I I hope it happens.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
You know, he told a story about how he became
friends with some other radio guys somewhere, and he was
mentioning radio guys like we know who they are, and
I wanted to.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Tell him listen, I don't really.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
I don't listen to nor pay attention to any other
radio person because hey, I'm afraid I'll steal from them.
I'll hear what they're saying and I'll steal it.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
And I just, you know, the the soft Worida guy.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
I didn't know who's talking about. Oh no, No, I
didn't any act like we did. I don't pay attention
to other radio guys because you do you know what
he's talking about. I didn't know what he's talking about,
but I act like But when he said he became
like buddies with him, I got a little jealous. I'm like, well,
then we should be buddies. If you were buddies with
that guy, I mean, I'm freaking Russ Rollins.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
We should go fishing.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
You to do what the hell take? Take him on
the poon tune?

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Yeah, we should go on the poo tune.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Man.

Speaker 6 (28:27):
When Mark Chase Russells right now is inviting you on
his poon too, I got a.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Quiet poon tune. It's stealth. Let's go fishing. Stop your wishing,
Let's go fishing.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
It's funny to say that, though, because like, like when
you say like, I don't know radio people, because I don't,
you know, want to lift from him and I don't
do it.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Yeah, I was cursed. Alice Sadiq was in here.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
He got mad at me when I said the same
thing to him, and I was like, I'm sorry, I
just learned about who you are.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
And he's like, how do you just learn about who
I am?

Speaker 6 (28:54):
And I was like, I don't listen to comedy or
seek out comedy in the last ten years.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
And I understood that, yeah, because I will.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
We got mad once and then held it in for
a minute and then brought it up again later.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
The only person, the only radio person I listened to,
is the guy that only talks about kiss. And I
know I'm not going to bring that up here on
the show. So and every once in a while I
have brought it up, you know, but I'm gonna try not.
You know, I know I won't lift anything from there
because I can't really use kiss information on this show
on a constant basis. I mean, I'll bring it up
every once in a while, but so I know I'm

(29:25):
not gonna steal for that guy. Uh And then for
the listen to Howard Stern, it's only to hear interviews
with big celebrities because that's my favorite thing that he does.
But as far as show stuff, I just I just
I'm I'm afraid I'll steal stuff.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Uh And and I don't want to do that.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
All right, So what do we what do we What
are we doing next? What's a big plan for what
to the next level?

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Oh no, we're just coasting, man, We're coasting.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
We got I got the poon tune in the house
and the lakes.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
I'm fat, Yeah, I'm fat and happy.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
You've always been fat.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
We trust me.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
The last thing you want is my undivided attention for
us to be doing stuff.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Look what happened last year? How many things did we
do last year?

Speaker 5 (30:05):
And look where we're at in the ratings. Buddy, I
gotta keep doing it. We will right now, I want
Oh my god, let me.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Rest for a second.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
No, no rest for the wicked and right.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Just don't need none.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Right, all right, Well take a little break, more big
dum fun when we come back. You're listening to the
Manster of the morning. Hey remember this Friday, we uh
Friday Night. We have a guest spot on Magic one
O seven seven.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
It's Monster Christmas. We'll share our Christmas magic with you.
That's this Friday night.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
If you're into Christmas music on Friday night, we'll be
on Magic one O seven seven. Thank them for and
we'll thank them for allowing us to be a part
of it. And that is this Friday night, Welcome back
to the Mansters.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
In the morning, A're Radio one oh four point one.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
I'm Russ Rowlands along with Angel Rivera and Ryan Ryan Holmes.
So today in uh, you know special Day, you know
this being November the nineteenth. What do you think is
one hundred and eighteen years old today? What game it's
got it? Special day? What game game that's one hundred
and eighteen years old?

Speaker 5 (31:12):
One hundred and eighteen years basketball?

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Basketball incorrect?

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Another game wooftball, whiffleball more indoors game?

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Pickleball pickleball incorrect?

Speaker 5 (31:25):
Uh, pickleball?

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Huh bowling No, No, one hundred and eighteen years old today.
This day's been recognized for some time now because millions
of Americans play it.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
It's caused a lot of friendships to crumble.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Monopoly Monopoly.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
As soon as I said that, you guys got it
right away.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
Yeah, that game.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
National Play Monopoly Day.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
I loved playing Monopoly as a kid, but I loved
it because we bastardized the rules and made our own
rules up. And I think probably everybody does right. Like
where you get if you if you land on what
was it park place? You get the hundred bucks or
whatever ever you get all the money. No, No, what
we would do is uh so anytime you had to
pay chance.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Or a ticket right jail jail, it would all.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Go into into marking. And then if you land on that,
then everybody got it. And then you could you could
argue with or or you know, dicker with other players
to try to you know, get there, you know, buy
their property. I'll give you six hundred bucks for that
and trade you this, you know, all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Uh. I used to love that.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
But uh, with you in your life because out of
the three of us, maybe you're the only one russ
I have never ever played a game of Monopoly to
its completion.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Yeah, this will sound nerdy as hell, but there was
like maybe three summers in a row as a kid
that I would me and all my friends would play Monopoly.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
So how does how does Monopoly end?

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Well, yeah, everybody else is broken. You're the only one
with money.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Yeah, it's you put everybody else out.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
He loved it so much, divorced for.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
It's like monopoly.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
Now you run everybody else out of you know, everybody
else is broke, and you got all the money and
that's the winner. But you're right, it does take a
long time. It's a long asking. I even I even
got it. I know this is going to be nerdy
as hell, but I even got it. Where it was
on my set? Was it Sega Genesis had it? I
think it was Sega Genesis one of the one of
the game machines had it.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Jesus christ Man, you had a Sega Genesis and you
were playing Monopoly on it? Yes, I mean there was
a nerd you guys, you want to come over and
play Sega and play Monopoly.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
That was a problem.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
I had some folks that would play, and then they
stopped wanting to play, and that nobody wanted to play
with me.

Speaker 6 (33:42):
But yeah, because the only play Monopoly ons every three
years Max.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Yeah, so you have you ever?

Speaker 1 (33:48):
I think the most Monopoly, the most Monopoly I've ever played.
It was back when I was would eat McDonald's on
the regular. I would play their Monopoly. So you never
played it too? Completion?

Speaker 3 (33:57):
No, Ryan ever?

Speaker 1 (34:00):
No, No, that would be an interesting survey. How many
Americans have ever played a full game of Monopoly to
to the end.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
People quit because they get into fights.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Right, yeah, or board.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Or yeah, I got is what they call it a
board game.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
We should get a game of Monopoly in here with
the ladies, play a full game on air.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Oh my god, do you think you think Amber understands Monopoly?

Speaker 5 (34:25):
No, that's why we win.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Oh you get you can? You can got her out
of boardwalk easy.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
You guys are messing around. Meanwhile, she's probably an expert
at that.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
You think maybe she's better at wordle than Ryan is.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
That's that's a fact.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
It's an annoying drives you crazy, doesn't it. She's smarter
than you think. No, she's she's smarter.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
No, No, is smarter than monkeys can use tools.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Right, exactly?

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Even the sun shines on the dog's asses once in
a while.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
Yeah, listen, I'm not saying Amber's dug.

Speaker 6 (35:04):
I will say Amber is exactly as smart as I
think she is.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
I think she's smarter than you think she is.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
No, I am not underestimating Amber.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
Angelique thinks she's a genius, an evil genius.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
That's because Angelique is jealous.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Have you noticed that Angelique and Amber are now closer
friends than they were before I started making them work together.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Have you noticed that one hundred percent they were over.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
There sitting next to each other giggling and laughing.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
The other day. They never usednew that before.

Speaker 5 (35:31):
When were they giggling and laughing?

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Exactly last week when.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
They were both in here and they were sitting next
to each other because they have to, they seemed happier.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
That's just these are the things that go in his mind.
He genuinely thinks that he's made those two closer. I
do think so, I know, I know further from the truth.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
When Amber and Kylie are in here, you'll see them
sit together and giggle.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Watch how those.

Speaker 6 (35:56):
No, no, they were last week there rememberer like a
kid like her kid's sister.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Yeah, she kind of, she's a kid.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
Likes it's called arrested development rush. And No, Amber's got
a lot of great qualities and she's very good at
a lot of things. But I'm I don't think I'm
over underestimating Amber in any way.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
So should we do, like what what would be a
good test, an IQ test between the two of you,
between Ryan and Amber?

Speaker 3 (36:26):
Oh that's not even fair.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Is gonna crush him?

Speaker 6 (36:30):
Yeah, that's just mean to But I say we get
a game of Monopoly. We get it, go, we play,
