(00:34):
in the Christmas spirit.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
So, Daisy, you got to introduce a song.

Speaker 3 (00:36):

Incredible food we've had. They've brought us food before when

(01:48):
we were doing the Feed Fat Russ. They fed us
one time. I think you were here for that.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Hey, if it was Feed Fat Russ, I was here.
I love to eat.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
All right, let's start here. We got to Orlan the
magic business they handle. We are dealing with the Los
Angeles Clippers today. The Clippers are currently four and ten.
Orlando Magic are eight and seven. The game time is
going to be about seven o'clock. And this is one
of these classic Russ early early season trap games where
you're gonna take the Clippers for granted and forget that

(02:20):
they're an NBA franchise because you're looking at the Saturday game. Now,
the Saturday game is a big game. But we handled
the Knicks before in New York. We should handle them
here at home. But let's not overlook the Clippers and
give up a silly game early in the season. Now,
I want to address this scandalous and ridiculous hot takes

(02:40):
that people are feeling compelled to share when it comes
to the Orlando Magic and this ridiculousness that people we had,
People had a couple of people go texting yesterday, had
a couple of conversations. When this stuff comes at me,
I go to one of my esteem colleagues, even though
he has it won best Orlando sports broadcaster ever ever,

(03:04):
but I still go to Coach Mark Daniels offer of
our sister station, and I'm like, coach dude, are any
of your listeners coming to you with his nonsense that
they feel that the Orlando Magic play better and are
better without Polo Bancaro.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
That's ridiculous, I'm sure.

Speaker 7 (03:22):
He laughed.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
He scoffed.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
He's like, that's the kind of stuff that you're getting
over there. He's like, those people are crazy. I was like, okay,
thank you. I just wanted to make sure I was
not you know, I was not off base on this.
It's early in the season, guys, just the same way
I told you about Hey, you know, don't get crazy
about our you know, we started off slow. It's all

(03:46):
new guys there. What sucks is and this is the
part that's a tough chemistry. Chemistry is something that you
get when you're playing a lot of games. Last season,
Pollow missed like forty something games. It sucks he's missing
these amount of games early right now this season because
it messes up the chemistry. We've got a really good team,

(04:07):
and if we could get a season where these guys
play fifty sixty games together, you'll you'll see the chemistry
develop and you'll see that we are a more formidable
team with all these elements in place. Does it look
stagnated sometimes with our offense when he's on there, Yes,
but they're figuring it out.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
There's no scenario where we're where we're.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
A NBA championship caliber team without Paolo ban Cao. It's
just not in the cards for us. So temper your
your expectations. That's helping our guy gets healthy, quicker and
get back on the court sooner than later. And then
let these these guys need minutes, they need minutes, live
minutes on the court, and then they'll they'll, you know,
you'll see how they gel together. It's Thursday night football.

(04:53):
Who's who's playing tonight? Tonight It's gonna be Oh, it's
gonna be an interesting game. We've got the Bills from Buffalo. Okay,
they're going down to the Houston Texans. Bills are currently
seven and three and they're gonna visit the Houston Texans,
who are five and five. Their defense is solid. The
Bills are seven and three. Yeah, why did you think? Oh, okay,

(05:16):
remember that the mighty Miami Dolphins stumped them a couple
of weeks ago.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
I put them put their foot on the throat.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, the mighty Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Mighty the words I've never said before, but yeah, you.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
Can you can use that one.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Appreciate that, all right, So we got Thursday night football
Buffalo Bills at Houston, and uh, we'll see there, we'll
see how that. This is one of those games where
it's gonna be interesting because we're gonna see if Houston
is really if they're about it. They they again an
example of a team that started off slow, a bunch

(05:53):
of dumb losses. But it seems like their defense has
been solid, but their offense is uh've been trying to
figure out some stuff, right. Victory for them tonight would
show that they were potentially a dangerous playoff team or solidify.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
With the Bills.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
Uh you know their claim that or their claimed for
the Eastern Conference, you know, or their division.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
The Game of the Year, people were like, they're definitely
gonna make the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
That was you know, people were saying, but.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
About the Bills or the Houston Bills.

Speaker 8 (06:19):
But they got dang gun because the Patriots are gonna
keep Mountain nine and two.

Speaker 7 (06:22):
Best team in the NFL. Never wavered.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah, look at the Patriots.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
Look at this guy over here.

Speaker 8 (06:27):
I always I always said it was it's been rebuilding
a few years and we finally rebuilt.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Interesting story, Russ, this is coming up again. Imagine being
an Olympic snowboard.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Oh my god, can you believe that?

Speaker 7 (06:44):
It was going downhill? And I got very scared.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Sorry, imagine imagine being Olympic snowboarder, Olympic halliver snowboarder.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
And then you know, whatever.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
The reasons are, you know whatever, whatever, Maybe Olympic snowboarding
doesn't pay that whole well, or maybe just you got
a nefarious group of friends.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
You become the el Choppo of damn Canada.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
I know about this guy is Jason Wedding or Johnny
Wedding or Ryan Wedding is his name, and he's on
the run for a while.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
He's not well, he's not made.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
So the reason the story has popped up now he's
been elevated to the top ten FBI most wanted. He's
number one, He's number.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
One most wanted guy.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Uh saying that bringing in like truckloads and truckloads of cocaine.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
And well he's wanted for the murder of federal witnesses.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
That's that's why.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Wait wait, wait, so what did he do brought cocaine
to the Super Bowl. I'm trying to get the sports.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Part of it. He used to be a down he
was in the Olympics for downhill snowboarding or snowboarder snowboarder.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
For Canada, and back in two thousand and two he
was like this Olympic skier. Now many many years later
he's like the El Chapo of Canada, like tons and
tons of cocaine he brought into the country.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
I mean, he was a member of the Canadian snowboarding
team of the two thousand and two Salt Lakes City Olympics.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
And now he runs one of.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
The most prolific and violent drug traffick team organizations in
the world.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, if they I guess they said there was somebody
that they thought had they lost some cocaine, and he
killed the whole family and it was the wrong family.

Speaker 8 (08:25):
Organization too is Ryan wedding, which was when I tried
to google Russ his son's wedding. That's why, that's why
it is up bordering cocaine.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
So his organization is responsible for importing sixty metric tons
of cocaine per year into Los Angeles from Mexico to Mexico.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
So now they're saying he's in Mexico and there's a
cartel that's guarding him, protecting him, protective and they think
that he's gone to like a Mexican a surgeon, and
they've changed the placimic's face plastic surgeon in his face
and make him look totally different, so nobody knows it's him.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
Much like cut money.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
You could do that, but much.

Speaker 7 (09:04):
Made taller too.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Man, Maybe I should go to surgery and get in
a smaller nose.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
So much like the way you are.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
Sorry I got so much like crime line.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
The Department of the United States Department of State wants
you to know if you have tips on this guy.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
They've raised the reward.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
It was find them if you can.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
It was ten.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Million dollars previously, but if you have info that leads
to the arrest of Ryan Wedding, you can get up
to fifteen million dollars.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
You just kind of snitching on them.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
But the worst part is, Yeah, Mexicans are not snitchers.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
No, that's it.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
That's for us to hear on states.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
I don't get it with a hard r like that.

Speaker 7 (09:50):
They don't like it.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yeah, they ain't snitching.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
That's the problem is hard So that but then you
throw that out, So who's Maybe someone Canada knows where
he's at, or somebody in the.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
State some gringo. Yeah, gringos. We like to snitch what
we do? Oh yeah?

Speaker 7 (10:11):
Remember, let me ask you a quick question. Sidetracked tangent.

Speaker 6 (10:17):
Right, it's hot near, dude, it is hot.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's hot in the studio getting hot.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
And you know what, it's not the play of the day.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
What's your play of the daylight?

Speaker 5 (10:33):
So where we're going to NFL wise again, we've got
the Buffalo Bills versus the Houston Texans. I didn't see
the line on this one, but I would definitely Bills.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
Bills is billed by six.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Okay, so this is where we we have to come
to an agreement. Here are we gambling? Are we just
trying to win?

Speaker 7 (10:49):
I think we're trying to We try to win our parlay.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, we're gambling, though, you gotta take Houston out.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
I don't really think the Texans are going to beat
the Bills. I think the Bills had to mess up
with that Dolphins game. It's too hot here. They had
a weird day.

Speaker 8 (11:02):
I don't I see no world where the Texans beat
the Bill as uh.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
So that we can come to an accord, just remember this.
I'm gonna go ahead and concede and we'll go with
the Bills. If the Houston Texans win, then we go
with my pick next time.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
Okay, that sounds fair.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
That sounds fair.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
If you guys teach me how to do this, I'm
down to gamble.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 6 (11:29):
The parlay.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
The parlay a way to game is the easiest thing
to do because all takes no sense. All you got
to go is like, I like this the color of
this team. I think they're gonna win, and you can
pick them for the like you could take that reason
to it, or you can try to do like what
right did I do? And try to apply logic to
a very illogical and I use for it.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
Yeah, a lot of people are okay, so maybe I'll
do that.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
I can help you. I'm just as good as chat.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
But are you going to tell me to Dolphins?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
No, No, I'm gonna tell you which NBA game do
you want to take? U.

Speaker 8 (12:02):
I want to take that Magic game because I feel
like the Clippers are going to beat them, But we
said we can't bet on our own Wait a minute.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
No, there's no way the Clippers are beating us at home.
See what logic is.

Speaker 8 (12:11):
That they're not going to take the Horses five point
five whatever.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Orlando Magic win that game going away.

Speaker 7 (12:18):
But we don't bet on our home takes.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Exactly what other games are going. All right.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
So today we've got Hawks and Spurs. Spurs will win
that win. You've got Kings and Grizzlies, that's a pick
them and the seventy six ers and the Bucks.

Speaker 6 (12:30):
The Bucks will win that game.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
All right.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
So you want to get the Bucks now? Rust said it.

Speaker 8 (12:35):
Now, I don't want to take the Bucks, and I
want to go with the Spurs. Like Angel SAIDs right,
every time, you've been wrong every time. That's not the
way I remember.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
And then if we're going to do NHL Lightning or
play lightning, lightning over the oilers.

Speaker 7 (12:48):
Lightning over the oilers, for sure. We said it before
you said it doesn't count.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Okay, so you're going Bills, You're going Bucks, No.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
Bills, Spurs Lightning.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Oh, you're gonna blow it on the Spurs.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
Watch all right, right, twenty five bucks for get us
one hundred bucks.

Speaker 7 (13:06):
There we go.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
So the Spurs is a basketball team, yeah, right, to
make sure we'll get you there.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
One of the things you could do with a parlay
is that you can bet like it's again, all three
leagues are playing tonight. So you've got NHL hockey, you've
got the NFL, and you got NBA and then so
to put it together, if you pick a winner from
each one. That's why twenty five dollars bet will get
you one hundred bucks. Parlays are by far the longest odds.
They're like, they're like the most extreme odds or you know,

(13:36):
most difficult to get because all it takes is one
game and your parlays run.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Okay, all right, here's what we gotta do.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
And when we come back, you need to don't say
it yet, but think about your favorite Christmas song.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Okay, you got to intro one.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
And Ray Trentley is here as well, Ryan, so we'll
have him come in and he's gonna intro one as well.
Because we've been asked by Magic, our friends over at
Magic one oh seven seven. Very nice for them to
ask us. We appreciate it. We have our own show
this coming Friday night. We're a Magic window seven seven
at seven o'clock and it's us doing our Christmas music stuff.
You know, we'll see what makes the air. But because

(14:10):
you know we're a little more let's say, rambunctious than
they are. But you get to introduce one when we
come back.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Okay, okay, I gotta work on this, work on your.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Song, all right, So we'll do that and we'll have
every trently come in here at a minute.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Do not go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
You're listening to the Monsters in the Morning. Welcome back

(14:48):
to the Monsters in the Morning on Real Radio one
on four point one, broadcasting.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
Live on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
It is weekend.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
If it's a Thursday, it looks like it's be a
great not as far as weather goes man an awesome weekend.
And of course then we're in next week just two
days because next week is uh is Thanksgiving, and we
are doing this. We've been invited thanks to our friends
over at Magic one oh seven seven, they've invited us
to do Hey, listen, how would the Monsters like to
have their own show on one oh seven seven for

(15:17):
a night? We did it last year. That was one
of their highest rated nights. By the way, Uh, not
to brag, but you know I like to brag, and
and so they asked us to do it again this year,
and we're like, yes, surely, it's a lot of fun.
We get to, you know, introduce our favorite Christmas songs
and be a part of Christmas. So what we're doing
is asking every member that comes in to you know,
introduce their favorite Christmas song. We forgot about Detective Barb

(15:39):
the other day and Angel said, we can call her tomorrow.
It'll help her promote her Christmas trees and we'll get
her to introduce the what was it the You're a
mean one, mister Grinch.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
That's perfect for Detective Barb.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
We got, uh, let's see, yesterday we had in Kylie Blakelee.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
She introduced a song.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Amber know To introduced a song, and we thought we'd
get friendly Ray Tranley, who's here, Hey, Trailly, how.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
You doing, buddy?

Speaker 6 (16:06):
I'm doing well. How are you good?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
And then Daisy del Toro back after two weeks and
we want you to introduce a song. So here's what happens.
Like I do the setup and then I asked you, hey,
so what's your favorite Christmas song? And you tell us
what it is and why it is and then uh, that's.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Basically the bit.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
But but I have to ask Angel if I can
use it sure, because Angel I texted.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
You a song.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
It's called a burrito, and I don't know if they
can play burrito songs over there.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
I don't know if they're going to do that over
magic when I was seven seven it's it's a sweet song.

Speaker 6 (16:39):
They're not going to play that there.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
They won't know why just because they said Spanish like burto.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
No, they do more like Christmas standards and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Okay, a donkey song won't do well.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
What's the Christmas donkey don't have? Is there a Christmas
that is a Christmas that's in English?

Speaker 8 (16:55):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (16:57):
Police is like an America staple.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
And didn't somebody already take the Christmas donkey song? Yes?
Kylie Blake did. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Why why she gotta be more country than me?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
I don't know she difference?

Speaker 7 (17:11):
What is your song called d burrito.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Burrito?

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Which is a donkey?

Speaker 6 (17:19):
What does that mean?

Speaker 3 (17:20):
It's it's like it's just a happy donkey, like going
around like Mary Christmas.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
It's a donkey.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
The song about Ryan that's so sweet.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Hold on, put it on there and you see it.
It's like I like it in Mexico.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah, right, didn't you pick a Hispanic song?

Speaker 7 (17:41):
I picked Don't dance Santa Claus?

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Right?

Speaker 7 (17:44):
There is a you've never heard that song.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
That's an American standard. Okay, that's how that songs like
from the fifties.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
No, this burrito one is very Hispanic.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Yeah, I hope he doesn't forget to pack my.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Look, he's gonna pull it up. You're going to see that.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
I don't think Magic when I was seven and seven
will play it, though, So we gotta find one they'll play.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Okay, because like I'm learning right as I go, because remember,
I've been in the Mexican world and over there, Americans
don't exist either.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
Yeah, so I'm trying to figure out what the heck
you guys listen to.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
You don't know what Christmas songs we listen to.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I know that Mariah Carey song, of course.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Yeah, you could introduce that one.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
I mean, at least not that I know that one.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Okay, that's good. How about like a Blue Christmas by Elvis?

Speaker 4 (18:30):
That's a goodie blue Christmas?

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Oh man? How about.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
I mean, there's there's so many was this list silver bells?
You know silver bells?

Speaker 8 (18:42):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Okay, here we go. Is that the.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
YEP song?

Speaker 2 (18:57):
This is song?

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Like yah, and you guys don't know this.

Speaker 8 (19:03):
I know this.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
I've heard far for sure. Well yeah, but you're from Miami.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Yeah, like you could play it in the streets. And
now the little kids in the family, everybody's like.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah, how about Santa claus Is coming to town?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
You know that one? Right?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
I know that one?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Jingle bells, jingle bells or silent night.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Silent silent that.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Here's what you gotta do when you say say why
you like silent, Like.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Why do you know why I like it?

Speaker 6 (19:33):
Up saying because you guys told me.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Or make something up, you know, like in your little
village and we would sit down and I would.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Sit with my donkey in Mexico, silent night.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
You lived in a dirt in the village.

Speaker 9 (19:46):
He really believes that established that any country outside of America.
That's how Ross visions people live.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Where she's from. In Mexico, it's where they grow the
gove plans, and you could say, I sit up with
the Gothi plants with my donkey and we would listen
to my that's beautiful, that's a great story.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
I didn't know you had a pet donkey as a child.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
I didn't I understand.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
What's doing She bit the donkey on the nose.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
I just want you to do it, go for the pop. Yeah, yeah,
that's what he's doing.

Speaker 8 (20:15):
Sounds like slow pokey, tell it real slow, you know,
like like paint the picture of you sitting in the.

Speaker 7 (20:24):
Accent.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
And I was there sad, all alone, hoping to come
to America.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
And then I was in like Silent Night. But there
was one cricket, and the cricket said, come to I don't.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
Know what accident. I don't know what accident, I don't
know what.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Some more Mexican.

Speaker 10 (20:45):
Here's how Rush thinks Mexicans sound. Okay, man, slow, okay,
just like yourself.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
You're Mexican enough, Just Mexican. Up a little bit, tell
some fret story. Actually, how a little bit in the.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Field and and with your donkey?

Speaker 7 (21:05):
Is there a song called Cartel Christmas?

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
You know.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
I made a joke about that, and I was like, yo,
why every time a.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Successful Mexican comes around, you guys think we're part of cartel? What?

Speaker 4 (21:18):
No, we're not, man, We're like hardworking Mexican.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Okay, you ready, because you know, hold on a second,
what song did we decide on?

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Silent Night?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Okay, she's gonna paint the picture of when she would
listen to Silent Night and when she was a young
little girl.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
So I'm gonna lie about this.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah, yeah, it's a whole new audience. I know who
we are, so it'll be good. So so you why
you would listen to Silent Night. Okay, so you think
about it. He's still getting it ready. Okay, Now I'm
gonna so I'm gonna introduce you, you know, and then
as serious as you can't you tell a story about
when you would listen.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
To Silent Night on Christmas with your burrow in the fields,
you know, yeah, yeah, sombrero on you know.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
The whole thing at night at night.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Christmas, sombarrow. Which kind of special things did you do
for Christmas?

Speaker 3 (22:10):
In Mexico, we take our shoes, we put them by
the window and we wait for candy to get all
inside of them so we can eat them in the morning.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
For christ sake. You got to tell that story. And
you put candy in.

Speaker 9 (22:21):
Your shoes then, yeah, just like a stalking, except with
real shoes.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
That could be stinky or not, but you don't know,
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 7 (22:29):
We us we do that here.

Speaker 8 (22:31):
We've never heard a little kid called fruit by the foot,
Fruit by the foot, no foot joke.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
That was very Mexican of you.

Speaker 11 (22:47):
That was like, wow, on point, he's looking for silent night,
all right, So uh, if you want to do it
like they have us, rush the particular that particular song
isn't being played in the two hours that we're doing it.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
What.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
Oh okay, I thought you said when I was gonna
do that for the ones that we've already uh, that
we have already recorded songs already.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
Yeah, so give us some songs, which.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Okay, so you got it's gotta be now a sappy
songs a fit with this whole storyline. Let's sen here. Uh,
that's what Christmas means to me.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
I don't know that.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
Let's snow, let it snow, let snow, silver bell winter,
Winter Wonderland. Is that not sappy enough?

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Winter Wonderland? Why would I listen to that in Mexico
on a mountain with a donkey.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Silver bell, silver silver bells.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Bells, j plata bell. I don't know if I can fake.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Silver bell.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Okay, did you say silver bells? This might be a
bad one to pick hold on because.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
I'm supposed to be fully Mexican at this point. I
can't say these names.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Okay, Okay, I've been.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
In America long enough to learn how to say silver.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Okay, let's sit here.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Well, know what about you introduced a song called baby.

Speaker 7 (24:08):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (24:09):
It's very inappropriate. My people are suffering. I can't. I can't.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Let's do Winter Wonderland, Winter Wonderland, you know, okay, Okay, okay,
So I'm gonna I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Set you up and you say why you love that
song and what it reminds you of is Christmas as
a kid? Okay, give me a second minute.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Set this up.

Speaker 9 (24:27):
So my favorite part last year was when Ryan just interrupted.
Everybody started laughing.

Speaker 8 (24:34):
I tried to find last year, should remember what we did?
And I couldn't find it. All right, our podcast only
goes back to August.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
All right, let's see I got this. Okay, you Mexican
think back.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Okay, I remember what's the song? We're going into.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Winter Wonderland one?

Speaker 6 (24:55):
Go Russ.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Hey, this is Russ Rollins with the Mantras in the
morning over at Real Radio one O four point one.
And I'm so glad that the people over at Magic
one of seven seven had asked us to tell you
our favorite Christmas song is to help you get in
a Christmas spirit. And here's one of our great cast members,
Daisy del Toro. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Winter Wonderland?

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Why?

Speaker 3 (25:14):
You know, when I was in Mexico, I used to
sit on the mountain side with my donkey and we
used to just stare at the sky and wonder if
there's anything colder than where we were, because we were burning,
sweating like animals. And there was this cricket that just
to sit all the way to the side.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
And he said, go to America.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Over there, Winter Wonderland is real, like the white snow
and white people are there. And I, sitting in Mexico
on the mountain top, thought there's no way this is real,
you know, because we had no TVs or anything, and
we're like almost on a cave, but on the top
of a mountain, right. And so deciding this cricket advised

(25:56):
me correctly, I said, I'm going over there to find
out if there is a into Wonderland because I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
All I had was a song.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
I travel across all the way to the over here,
and now I can't go over there because Winter.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Wonderland is so wonderful. I just want to live in
America forever.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
She just do pin.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
It's perfect. I think that's perfect. There you go.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
I think we're gonna talk. There's been some creative editing,
some license for Russman. I think I think we got it.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Cut it there, you goys.

Speaker 8 (26:31):
It's gonna be a Daisy Winster's favorite song, Wonderland.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Let's see what makes the cutover? So and I think
that's good. All right, that's it.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
That's gonna cut my whole donkey.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Well, it's up the angel Angels, the angel me.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
I can be bribed, all right.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
So we're gonna do one for Ray now. Yeah, we
got time when we come out.

Speaker 6 (26:53):
Oh no, we got time now.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Okay, okay, so Ray, here, here's your here's what you got.
Frosty the Snowman. All right, you got this Christmas by
Christina Aguilera. You got let's see Happy Christmas by John Lennon.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Uh, let's see what else you got?

Speaker 6 (27:07):
Have yourself a merry little Christmas? Is that on?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
There?

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Hold one so American like that?

Speaker 6 (27:16):
All the other ones I was gonna pick.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
There's sleigh Ride, there's a you got Let's see here,
what's talk about? I've got my love to keep I've
got to keep.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
About.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Here come Santa Claus, here comes that one sucks. That's
very repetitive. We wish you, right, we wish you a
Merry Christmas.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Yeah, Slay Ride is like moves a little bit. Here
you go, I'll play you some of that. Here we go,
let's do with us.

Speaker 6 (27:48):
Let's go with this guy. This guy's version.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
This is very ray trendly. We Wish You a Merry
Christmas by Kenny G.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
Come on, Harry, get to it.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:10):
I don't know if I ever heard this song before.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
Yeah, very like low key version.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Yeah, that's uh, Harry Connick Junior's version. This is another
version of it. That's what's on is and that's Sleigh Ride.
Oh then we're not gonna do that one. I was
way too slow.

Speaker 9 (28:26):
Why don't we do Kenny G's wish you Merry Christmas? Okay,
that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
It's on there.

Speaker 7 (28:31):
Yeah, right, and you just talk about why you why
you like that, why you.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Like Kenny G? Yeah, okay, all right, you tell me
when I'm ready.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
Whenever you are.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
I'm talking.

Speaker 8 (28:44):
He's like, I'm ready, let's go carves yesterday.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
He's ready to go have carves yesterday, I feel very energetic.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Ah three two, what hey, it's Russ Rollins over at
a real radio one O four point one and the
Monsters in the morning. And I want to thank our
friend Magic one oh seven seven for asking us to
be a part of Christmas Week. This is so awesome.
Thank you guys for asking us to be here. And
they've asked me to introduce some of our cast members
from the show to find out what their favorite Christmas

(29:12):
songs are. Here's a buddy of ours, friendly Ray Trendley.
Ray Trenley, what is your favorite Christmas song?

Speaker 9 (29:17):
The most quintessential best Christmas song is We Wish You
a Merry Christmas by Kenny G. I'll tell you there's
nothing that gets me more in the holiday spirit than
Kenny G and we Wish You Merry Christmas. It just
brings you in the mood of wanting to accept family
and friends.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
And I don't know if you know this.

Speaker 9 (29:35):
I've been told that I've been friendly and I think
this is one of the friendliest Christmas songs out there
because all it is is just wishing people well around you.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
And I absolutely love that song.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Allright, here we go.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
I can't I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
You gotta be why you gonna be the perfect white guy?

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Well, you were in the perfect Mexican. It worked one.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
Oh, I sound like I'm stupid.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
He sounds like such a He wants to He wants
to give the whole world some sweet advice on being
a merry Christmas.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
My advice is run away from Mexico. There's no over there.

Speaker 7 (30:11):
You should do. You should do a sweet one.

Speaker 8 (30:13):
Then I shouldn't do a racist when I should be
doing something nicer.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
I want to sound like a rich, nice Mexican.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Right when we come back, you'd be a sweet, nice Mexican.
We'll do that.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Then we'll fix. Will give me a good Mexican when
we come back, we'll do my God, we'll give you
one more time. Uh, you know you want to be fair,
so we'll do that when we come back. Don't go anywhere.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
You're listening to the match in the morning, quite real?
All right, listen.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
But it's been pointed out that I led, you know,
Daisy del torow down the wrong path and I made
her you know, stereotypical Mexican.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I'm sorry, Yeah, he did, so that's my fault.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I apologize. You know, we will let you cut another one.
What we're going to way Race Trindly here with us
by the way, TK Law one firm forlife dot Com.
I know when anytime divorce comes up in my world,
I said him right to race friendly.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Uh, that's appreciated, boy, and boy, I send you a lot,
don't you.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Know somehow in your sphere of friends.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, But he does a great job, and he'll usually
what I have found is he's not a very business
minded man. He'll usually talk him in the counseling or
working it out or or not going through with the divorce.

Speaker 9 (31:34):
I am not great at business because what I really
want to do is help people, and helping people doesn't
always mean them hiring me.

Speaker 6 (31:40):
Might mean they problem solve a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
That's why we love you, Ray. He's a good man.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
All right, listen as you if you've just started listening,
Just so you know, we've been asked to host our
own show this coming Friday night on Magic one oh
seven seven.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
It's an honor. It's very cool.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
It's a Christmas that's the Christmas station, right they play
Christmas music from now until the end of the year locally.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
That should be your go to station. Tune them in
when you're not listening to this station if you're looking
to get those Christmas vibes popping right.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
So uh so the last segment, you know, Daisy did
a song, but then she felt when she heard what
Ray Trenley did, She's like, well, he gets to sound
a little smart and and nice and sweet and so okay,
I said, fine, I apologize, I'll let you do you
can redo it. You know, you can do another one
if you want, okay, So uh Angel. The song that
she's picked is called My Favorite Things. I think it's

(32:30):
the it's one of the third and fourth songs that
they have on the list.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Here for that night.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Is that the Julie Andrews one yes, Julie Andrews, it's
my Favorite Things. Uh and that's what she wants to do,
so uh uh so you you tell me when I'll
introduce her and then uh and then you gotta just
you know, tell us why it's your favorite song and
and uh, you know, you could do it very smart sounding,
very you.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Know, I'm gonna now I'm going to be sweet song yourself.

Speaker 6 (32:53):
Do you just see you?

Speaker 4 (32:55):
Well?

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Three two one, Hey, it's Russ Rollins over a Real
Radio one oh four point one and the Monsters in
the morning, and we went up and think our friends
over Magic Windows seven seven for inviting us to be
a part of our Christmas Night to get everybody in
the Christmas spirit. They've asked us to allow folks that
are on our show, cast members on our show to
introduce their favorite Christmas songs help you get in the

(33:17):
Christmas spirit.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Here's Daisy del Toro. Hey Daisy, what is your favorite
Christmas song? And why?

Speaker 4 (33:22):
My favorite things? And here's why all right?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Growing up in Mexico, surrounded by mountains, we had about
three hundred thousand acres over there and millions of dollars
in a gavet. And I remember this poor soul slave
that we had, but he wasn't a slave.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
What are they called servants?

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Servant?

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yes, So one of the servants I said to him,
hey man, my favorite thing is my private jet. Go
get it ready, boy. And then instead of having ten
of these servants, I ended up with fifteen, because you know,
I love to get serviced. And we flew over to
America and I'm all alone eating caviar, you know, on

(34:05):
the plane, but I have two people just taking photos
and videos of me so I can look cool to
my friends.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Because you know, we're not part of the cartel. But
I want them to see me.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
I want them to know, like from far away, I'm
richer than them, and I can fly wherever the heck
I want to. Right, I get to America, I was bored.
I went to Paris, I got bored, went to London,
got bored, went to Rome.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Finally had a good time.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
I was over there like, oh, I don't know exactly
what they're saying, but it was really fun. And my
favorite things is that man traveling the world, enjoying my life,
spending all my money, having servants everywhere.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
It's great.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
So this song puts you in the Christmas spirit.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
That's right, give it.

Speaker 7 (34:50):
You have to give back my favorite things. On Magic seven,
my favorite thing is my slave servant.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Servant, because yeah, was that better or worse?

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Much better? Now? Both? Wait?

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Wait, so which one are you gonna use? My burrito
one or this one?

Speaker 6 (35:12):
You're gonna have to listen. No, no, you're gonna have
to listen to find out.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
You'll see what makes the cut. That's part of the gimmicks.
I might mash both of them up together. Or these
are both pretty solid, they might stand all alone.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
No, you know, like there's there's different perspectives to this.
I just you know, do I still sound like I'm
a nice personally?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Camp? Oh?

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah, because the more you hire people, the more it
is better way.

Speaker 9 (35:42):
If you look at it that way, you are really
supporting the economy.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
You see what I'm saying. For sure, you see what
I'm saying. And I was drinking tequila too.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
Oh think Ryan nailed it. This was both better and worse.

Speaker 7 (35:54):
The pilots for those private jets too. They need to
get paid for the holidays, see.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
That ass which is also an expense.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
Whatever Abia enjoys that.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
So now all we need we need to get Tomorrow
Savannah is gonna come in. We'll get her song we've got.
I don't know what Angelie's doing. I thought she was
in today, but I guess not so. Uh So maybe
Angelie can call in and give us one Detective Barb
tomorrow and then we're done, right, angel And then you're
gonna do something well, I need to do a wrap up.

Speaker 6 (36:22):
When do you want to do that? Yeah? When do
you want to do the close? Do you want to
do the close tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I mean, yeah, yeah, we'll do the close tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
I feel like this one went very well.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
No, it went perfect.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
No, I feel like I should be more humble. Shouldn't
I have like a more humble one.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
Do you want to try a humble wind?

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Can you?

Speaker 6 (36:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Of course I can. It is super hard.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
You want to record a humble one?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
Just yeah, I should. I should have a humble one.
And I went to Extreme rich and then Extreme board,
which humbles in the middle, man.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Okay, in the middle. See what song is humble? A
humble song?

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Humble? I should do a humble one. That way we
use the humble hmmmm.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
Actually, okay, Daisy, this is up to you. Okay, But
because has anyone use Santa Baby yet?

Speaker 3 (37:08):
No?

Speaker 6 (37:11):
Right, you tried to, didn't we? No, we do not
use your Sanda Baby.

Speaker 7 (37:16):
I'm doing don't gloves.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
Okay, that's so, Daisy. It's up to you if you
want to. You could ee to go humble or you
could do uh Santa Baby.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
But Santa Baby isn't she like a sugar Yeah? Girl, yeah, no,
no going that route. But I can do humble humble,
that's right.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I can do the humble like like I'm out there
to help the people and encourage them and stuff, right.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Right, right, I mean, can you tie that into Santa
Baby somehow? Probably not listen to.

Speaker 6 (37:51):
The song and the guy seemed very lonely at the
beginning of the song.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
How about this one that's only at the end, Daisy,
you would be going you would be coming out of
it again, very you again, We're we're going for humble.
The song that we would be coming out of would
be happy uh Christmas with Wars over that's John Lennon.
And then we would be going into Christina Aguilera again Spanish.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Uh uh, this is this is Christmas. So that's so
that would be okay.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
Okay, I have an idea. Yeah, this is my humble one.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
So this is a tempt at uh get into character here.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
This got this she can be humble, very humble.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
Are you telling me when he ya?

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Hey, this is Russ Rollins over at Real Radio one

Speaker 7 (38:45):
Again, is Happy Christmas?

Speaker 1 (38:46):
Right?

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Happy Christmas is the name of the song?

Speaker 1 (38:49):
Is it Happy Christmas?

Speaker 6 (38:52):
This is this Christmas?

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Should do it? After the break? I gotta go, you
gotta nail it, okay, all right, and I got a

Speaker 2 (39:04):
What hey, it's Russ Rollins over. We're Radio one of
