cus and discuss that. H I found this interesting though.

It's the Wicked too, like Wicked for Good. It's the
second part of the Wicked, and last year Wicked came
out and it killed, it crushed. This year, it's even
made more than it made last time. But the difference
being this that I noticed. So if you watch NBC,
which I watch INBC a lot, they've really been pushing

Wicked for Good because they are a parent company of
you know, the same people that put out the Wicked
for two. They're they're Wicked for Good. They are a
parent company of that. If you watch ABC, ABC does
all the Disney stuff, right, So when I'm watching this morning,
I watch NBC and they're like, yeah, Wicked for Good.

It made one hundred and fifty million dollars in the debut.
It was a great, great movie. And they're really kind
of pumping it up because they own it, right, and
they're like, oh, great reviews, It's awesome movie. You know.
I watched ABC a little bit this morning and he's like, yeah,
even though it made one hundred and fifty million dollars,
a lot of poor reviews. And the guy who was
talking abou because yeah, I watch a lot of people

in the theater were laughing, like, not where you're supposed
to be laughing. I only won that good of a movie.
And I'm like, how funny is that two different networks,
one propping it up because they you know, they own it,
you know, they and the other one kind of downplaying
it because they're more of the Disney stuff. I find
that be interesting. Obviously, you know that happens a lot,
even with the news itself, you know, the way it's

the way it's reported to you. But that was two
different networks. One owns part of, you know, with the
company that makes the Wicked for Good, the other does it.
And one was down in it, the other was propping
it up. Do any of you guys, any of you
three plan on going seeing Wicked for Good in the
movie theater?

to say, three hours pretty much is a commitment to
watch any movie unless it's one of the rings is exton,

by watching more of the story because a lot of them
singing and stuff. I didn't know what the hell they
were talking about that I don't know they But I
kind of liked it more watching it at home last

I feel like the term influencers is just a It
sounds so disingenuous. It does, but you know, what any
excuse to party with you guys.

I don't like that term of the influencer sounds like,
oh yeah, genuine you're going to influence somebody. Who do
you think you are?

I don't like that sound right, you know. I just
I post my life on social media. I have big,
dumb fun all the time. I've always doing events.

So so one of the things so over the weekend
on Friday, movie came out that they're they're thinking, Okay,
this is going to turn around all, you know, the
entire year because the year hasn't been that great for
the theaters. You know, people have not been going to
the theaters as much as they used to. Now there's
a bunch of reasons why we can talk about that
cus and discuss that. H I found this interesting though.
(28:41):
It's the Wicked too, like Wicked for Good. It's the
second part of the Wicked, and last year Wicked came
out and it killed, it crushed. This year, it's even
made more than it made last time. But the difference
being this that I noticed. So if you watch NBC,
which I watch INBC a lot, they've really been pushing
(29:01):
Wicked for Good because they are a parent company of
you know, the same people that put out the Wicked
for two. They're they're Wicked for Good. They are a
parent company of that. If you watch ABC, ABC does
all the Disney stuff, right, So when I'm watching this morning,
I watch NBC and they're like, yeah, Wicked for Good.
(29:22):
It made one hundred and fifty million dollars in the debut.
It was a great, great movie. And they're really kind
of pumping it up because they own it, right, and
they're like, oh, great reviews, It's awesome movie. You know.
I watched ABC a little bit this morning and he's like, yeah,
even though it made one hundred and fifty million dollars,
a lot of poor reviews. And the guy who was
talking abou because yeah, I watch a lot of people
(29:43):
in the theater were laughing, like, not where you're supposed
to be laughing. I only won that good of a movie.
And I'm like, how funny is that two different networks,
one propping it up because they you know, they own it,
you know, they and the other one kind of downplaying
it because they're more of the Disney stuff. I find
that be interesting. Obviously, you know that happens a lot,
even with the news itself, you know, the way it's
(30:06):
the way it's reported to you. But that was two
different networks. One owns part of, you know, with the
company that makes the Wicked for Good, the other does it.
And one was down in it, the other was propping
it up. Do any of you guys, any of you
three plan on going seeing Wicked for Good in the
movie theater?
Speaker 6 (30:25):
You know, I saw the first one, and I got
to say, three hours pretty much is a commitment to
watch any movie unless it's one of the rings is exton,
in which case I will make a weekend of that.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Nuh.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
But but you know, since I saw the first one,
I feel like I've just got to.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
See it through.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
I tell you what. I all that I saw the
first one in the movie theater some time ago, and
then just last night because we were out of things
to watch. I didn't want to make my wife watch football,
and I'm like, yeah, I have my dolphins, aren't planned, Like,
what do you want to do? Well, if we go
to the theater and see Wicked for Good, let's get
let's let's remember what happened. So I watched it with
the close captions on it, and I know that sounds like
(31:04):
old people's stuff, but but with the close captions, I
actually want to say I understood it better. But I
caught a lot more of what was going on, uh
by watching more of the story because a lot of them
singing and stuff. I didn't know what the hell they
were talking about that I don't know they But I
kind of liked it more watching it at home last
night and getting caught up because mary Ellen really wants
(31:25):
to go see it, so we might go tomorrow to
go see Wicked for Good Too or whatever it's called.
Angel A. You're gonna take your girl? Like, are your
girls into it?
Speaker 4 (31:33):
Remarkably? No? No, Like with the fifteen year old, I
was like, hey, listen, you know when the first one
came out, and she was like, whatever, she's seen them.
I won't, you know, she's watched them, but she's to
her those are like, oh wait till they come out
on streaming. Yeah, Like it hasn't been a mussy uh
movie theater thing.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Actually I would be okay waiting for it to come out,
you know.
Speaker 5 (31:55):
That thing breaks because like three hours as a connit.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
But mary Ellen wants to see it, so I'm like, want,
I'll do it for you because she goes to see
stupid movies and made it, you know, like every every
you know superhero movie, she'll go with me. How about you, Ryan,
I do you care about Wicked or Wi?
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Hate Bo and Yang so much. I find him sufferable
at anything.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
That he's in.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
He annoys me as well.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
He had just annoys the hell out of me in a.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Way that like Bo and Yang ailes, he's really not.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
In the first one as much as I thought he was.
Like I watched the whole damn thing again yesterday, and
my guy, he's in it a couple of times, but
he's really not in it that much. Yeah, I actually
liked the movie better last night than I did the
first time I saw it, all right.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
And also, I mean, like I just can't look at
Ariana Grande. I feel like I need to get her sandwich.
Speaker 5 (32:41):
He's not doing good man.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
I been well, it's her every other woman on the cast,
like for Wicked.
Speaker 5 (32:47):
I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 6 (32:49):
Maybe it's the Curse of Oz because you know, if
you think about it, there was a lot of stuff
going on with Judy Garland in the and the Wizard
of Oz.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Maybe it's just a cursed movie.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Well no, she yeah, she's harmed herself and only had
a coffee and cigarettes.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
And these girls they look rough, yeah they did.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
Like I don't think, like this is how like a
healthy you know, image to project to women, especially young
girls like this, and I think this is gonna have
a lasting effect on a lot.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Of people's mental health.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
And I've noticed, I don't know, maybe it's just because
of zempic is such a thing now, Like I feel
like body dysmorphia is bad, like like like being an
erectic is almost like in Vogue again, like this like
Heroin is she get Yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
It's cool getting the low rise jeans are back and
I'm scared man as a girl, I'm.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Like, I feel like we were hitting a good stride
of like people being like healthy with their body. But
now like you have the biggest actress in the world
looking like that running around and then people get on
you if you say something like this like well don't
body shay Mary on a grande And it's like I'm
genuinely concerned not only for her but for the people
that see her, because like, young women are so impressiable
(33:55):
when they see something like that, well.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
She's super thin, that that is for sure. I don't
you know, I don't.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
You haven't see the images for the for this movie.
She's like, it's it's striking.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Oh is it?
Speaker 4 (34:06):
Yeah, she's thinner than she was in the first one. Yes, yeah,
it's uh. And then people have been commenting on it,
but like even visualized, Like when I first I was like,
I was like what. I didn't get the gist of
what was going on there, and I was like, what
is she doing trying to get even smaller because she's
already so small. She's a small thing to begin with.
Speaker 6 (34:25):
And you guys, you're watching YouTube right now. Ryan pulled
up the pictures like she's health.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Did you see where that guy jumped out and tried
to hug her and take pictures and stuff at one
of the movie premieeres. And then the lady who plays
the witch that had the alphabet she had to like,
uh uh kind of attack the dude and get him off.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
Yeah, that guy got deported.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
It didn't get Yeah. Another thing too, Listen, I don't
know who If you don't like Jeff Goblu and there's
something wrong with you. I think I love that guy.
He's so quirky and weird and he's really great in
the first movie. I haven't seen the second movie yet,
but here out and said that after doing the second movie,
since the whole idea of The Wizard of Oz has
something to do with the treatment of animals and everything,
(35:08):
because you know, they the animals that are talking, they're
putting them in cages or what, you know something. But
he said after doing the movie, he became a vegetarian,
which is sort of a weird reason that it's weird.
But he's an odd cat anyway, But I like him
though he's he's kind of weird and goofy, but but
I like, Yeah, he's now a vegetarian because of playing
(35:29):
the part that he played in The Wizard of Oz,
which is weird because the Wizard is like a bad
guy in it. Yeah, he's the one that wants to,
you know, make the animals not talk and put them
in cages and all this stuff.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Oh, I've only seen the originals. I've never actually seen it.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, and this one, like they made everybody
else's bad, but yet the the Witch really is good.
But everyone treats are so bad. And I guess in
this next one is when it it's really dark and
she becomes mean ass witch.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
You've never seen like a document I have to avoid
the documentaries about how we get our food, especially from animals,
because I have to actively not think about it.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
I don't want to know.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
How can I really start thinking about it? Is the
day I become a vegetarian and I don't want to.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
I don't either, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (36:17):
So I have you ever seen a documentary close to
changing your mind?
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Though? I watched this one that Mary Ellen told me
to watch, and it was one with they had chicken,
all these chickens and this big thing and there's so
many chickens in there. They're getting fat and they can
barely move, and it made me feel bad for the chickens,
and I said, turn that off. I do not want
to feel that way.
Speaker 5 (36:35):
I like chicken nuggets too much for that.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Yeah.

Yeah, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
If you like sausage, you don't want to know how
it's made.

that's how they are. They grow like that tree tree.
I do not want to know how you make a

see it in the next couple days. But so you
guys got it is. Listen. It is very Broadway, very

super fruity tooty like it is it is. You know,
you know what I'm saying. There's a lot of gay.
There a lot of gay in the in the in
the production, in the production. Yeah, yeah, they put a
lot of you know, but whatever. I can watch that
Broadway musical, the Broadway musical. It's it's pretty tooty. But
you know, still I don't know what.

Okay, I'm trying here because I haven't seen any Are
you saying that the movies are overtly gay?
Speaker 1 (37:30):
There are a lot of gay in it? Yeah? What
does that means? A lot of Broadway gay? What does
that mean?

It's very flamboyant.

It's flamboyant bow and yang everybody, you know.
