you're saying is is that instead of holding an individual
responsible for the way they act, you think it's better

Usually in circumstances like this, when you're running at a
let's say, a entry wage employee and that's your interaction
with a company and they're performing poorly, I tend to believe, Uh,
I've been my experience that they've been trained poorly and
the poor leadership.

It's like, hey, you're you're you're you're a young person.
You're trying to make it in business. You're trying to
make some money. You're supposed to know that by being trained,
but you know by their parents the Okay, your parents
job is not to train you for work. You haven't

you have to be nice in order to get a tip.

My parents did not train me that I learned that
in the workforce. I mean, you just called my parents

My parents didn't come up getting jobs. They worked on farms.
They came from ports. So they never worked for anybody

with being on social media all the time. You're on
your phone. They're not learning to talk to each other,

believe you want to argue the way that a parent
raises their kid. And again, if you want to get
at the parents, then again, if that's the way that

doesn't say anything to you, goes off the corners on
the phone, that's a piece of this like.

me five dollars because you weren't nice to me, you
know what I mean. Like it's that's why I think
the tipping economy is a scam and it should be

we talked about it, and Ryan was talking about, Oh,
I hated when I was a server and people try
to make me be nice. So I go to this
restaurant yesterday that I have I tried a long time ago.
I thought I'd give him another try. Young girl behind
the behind the bar and just not you know, just

as unpolite as pop. You know, it's just not rude.
But like could care less that she was there indifferent.
I asked the question, I'm like, hey, out of all
these salads, which one's the best one. I don't eat
salad and stares at me and I'm like, Okay.

he's been there four times. This was the fourth This
is the fourth time all the all three times he's
been to this place.

I figured I'd give him a try. And this young person,
because we were talking about how young people don't know
how to be nice anymore, gave me exactly what i'd
heard about in the news. So your thought process on

And then do you know how much they get paid?
Not a lot, like, not enough to survive? And I
feel like if you want somebody to like emotionally babysit
other people.

but a lot of you are super like super needy

on top of like the pay and all that, like
you know, sometimes you just don't need that tip as
much as you need to get through that moment in life.

talking about was business restaurants going out of business. It's
a competitive market, right, So in a competitive market, then
you want people behind the you know, behind the bar

go back because that was a pleasant experien If it's
not a pleasant experience, why I go back?

that he keeps being like my employer though, right, everything's
employers think the individual has some uh an individual person

my bar, no accountability for anyone if it's my bar
and my management. And I get a conversation from a
customer about a crappy experience that is on me to
address my employee and not let them know, Hey, that's
not how we do it here.

If you're a young person, you have no accountability.

They hired will come up with some label to give
you that makes it okay.

I had to go through four different interviews to get

of training and then following its servers and bartenders for
two weeks, and then they would retrain us about every
eight months.

a certain way, you would make more tips?

Not at nineteen, like at my first job eighteen nineteen,
Like I don't. That's not instilled into you. That's like saying,

these things.

I knew that as a kid. I knew like I

that Russ is managing Ambernova and he's favoring her and

looked at me, and I could tell by the look
you gave me and by your answer that you don't think.

had to completely start my life over and I had

I really had to leave a lot of friends behind,
and I haven't seen my I saw my family for
the first time in the years recently, So you really
