Speaker 1 (00:02):
Broadcasting live from the Abraham Lincoln Radio Studio, the George
Washington Broadcast Center.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Jack Armstrong Showy Armstrong and Gettie and he Armsrong.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
We are hoping for a show as epic as The
Odyssey itself.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Oh, live from Studio C.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
We're dressed in our Homeric gear today in honor of
the movie Game Homeric.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Dressed like Matt Damon in The Odyssey, which comes out
today for the show, this epic Odyssey, that is The
Armstrong and Getty Show, Live from Studio see and today
we're toiling under the title of the show, the only
healthy thing at Taco Bell is giving people the gallop
a trots what or if.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
You prefer blow up bridge?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I'm sorry, I gotta does deliver this one in kind
of a progressive tone of voice.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Blow up bridges, not walls. Yeah, it's it's so.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
They've been quinite of quiet about it, but we have
started blowing up bridges and the power plants. They aren't
shouting about it because I think they know it's a
touchy subject for some people. Mainstream media is gonna start
shouting war crimes and stuff like that. But we blow
up bridges and power plants. The Iranian government announced to
their people yesterday, Hey, cut back on your energy.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Use, don't run your you know, don't run your blender or.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Whatever, because they got serious problems going already.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So I didn't realize that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
More specifically, though, my understanding was it was bridges and
plants that are the most important for a particular military base,
that's key to controlling the straight and or straights of
hor moves.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
But who knows.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well, I'm sure that's where you start. Sure, if you're
not getting uh, if they're not coming around, it will
it will expand.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
The thing about wars is you try to win them, right,
So let's let's win this one. You want to know
what the main symptom is of cyclospora.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I think I do know what it is.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I don't think I want to say it on the air.
I don't want to hear it on the air.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
S W sw D. I'll let you fill in the words.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
This is what you think it is the D I've
got sudden severe severe owd W.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
This is if you let us at Taco Bell. Yeah,
what's the w watery?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Oh boy, oh boy?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Like the drinks at a bad.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Bar, although it is sometimes described in reports as explosives.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So I suppose SEWD.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Right, oh boy, throwing, not a lot like matter, that's right, doctor,
throwing for fun after you enjoy your taco bell salad, Cramps, cramps, nausea,
loss of appetite, Well, yes, I've lost my appetite, Yes
I have. I've rarely have I called for a snack
while engaged in the SEWD. Yes, Hey, Honnie, would you

(03:22):
bring me some cheese and crackers soup? I'd like a
big bullet chili, That's what i'd like. Oh boy, loss
of appetite, I've lost my appetite talking about it? Hey,
fatigue and weight loss? Well fatigue, yeah, tell me. Would
you please.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Give me a moment in the last fifty years of.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
My life, one moment in the last fifty years of
my life where I wasn't suffering from fatigue. I'd like
to know when it happened. I must have missed it. Well, wait,
but then you said weight loss, weight loss. There you go,
there's the for a Sriasis diet.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
It's great.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
That's the when life gives you age, you make lemonades.
That's what it is. Right there, boy, where boy? Sure,
you get the taco bell salad, but you you're losing weight.
Oh you're looking great, man. Yeah, yeah, I'm on a
new diets. I was on keto, but now I'm eating
taco bell salads and lettuce. And if you'll excuse me,

(04:21):
I'll be back in a few minutes.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Uh So, what's going to be in the tacos now?
Is it just a taco shell and cheese?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
So they got the lettuce problem all across the country, right,
some of this lettuce that came from Mexico, and washing
lettuce doesn't help according to the FDA, or doesn't necessarily
fix the whole problems. You're not supposed to eat any
loose lettuce, at least for a while. The CDC reporting
almost two thousand laboratory confirmed domestically acquired cases since May one,

(04:54):
with more than six thousand other cases under review. And
then lots and lots and lots of people will probably
add this for several days and didn't go to the
doctor at all. In fact, most people, I would guess,
because we've all gone through spells that you don't necessarily
need to go to the doctor.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
It can trace, go.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Ahead, it can persist, persist for weeks, which is a
long time.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I'm sorry, I gotta say this.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
They've traced the lettuce to a single supplier from Mexico,
Taylor Farms, So don't eat all that.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
How they harvest in their lettuce, they need to wash
their hands or something. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
How about the fact that it, unlike typical food poisoning,
it can persist for weeks.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Weeks of s w D is.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
A long time. We've all had a couple of days
here and there for a variety of reasons and diseases
and things in our lives. Not weeks though, that would
be that road cause weight loss and and all sorts
of things. Yeah, how much work. It can be treated
with antibiotics. Who needs Who's ever thought they needed antibiotics
because they got the you know the CWD.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Uh. This is the part though.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
It can persist for weeks and then relapse in some cases.
What I know. Well, so it's a bacterial infection, obviously,
and it's a tough to get rid of bacteria, or
tough for your body to get rid of. You get
over it after weeks. You got a lot of reading done.
You read the entire odyssey. You're ready for the movie. Uh,
sitting there on the toilet for weeks.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
You get better.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
You got a tennis match planned tonight with your friends
down at the club, and then then it's back oh
wearing you're all whites even worse. Yeah, Uh, don't don't
eat poopy Mexican lettuce is the takeaway. I think five
takeaways from the president's speech, which we'll talk about later.
There's just really one takeaway from this one. Don't eat

(06:47):
poopy Mexican lettuce. ShredIt ized part lettuce imported for Mexico
and servative Taco Bell restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio,
and West Virginia at the last.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Credited letus shredded lettuce. I never buy shredded lettuce.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
You known, go ahead, You're fine, everybody's fine. You sounded
like you have a real strong opinion about shredded lettuce. Well, no,
I just I don't want to frighten people out of
the consumption of the delicious leafy treat that lettuce. I
thought you had some sort of uh gonna claim some
sort of moral failing of those of us who eat

(07:21):
lettuce that has been pre shredded.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
No, no, no, I do use thousand island. Dressing like
a child. That's the only thing about myself. So child's dressing, Yes,
it is.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I say that at the restaurant every time I said
I would like the child's dressing thousan an island, and
they always laugh child.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Eh boy, Well, so much for let us talk.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
So we're bombing. We've bombed some bridges and some power
plants as promised. Yeah, and it's the supply route for
the I r GC that's supposed to I don't know,
get their attention. I guess Iran is not fired on
a ship in three days. Iran is not fired a
ship in three days. Very few ships have still gone

(08:02):
through the strait. In fact, I don't know. As of yesterday.
When I was talking from the sources, I always read
every day not a single ship had gone through the
route we're telling people to go through. I don't that's
the entire explanation of wire An hasn't shot at a ship.
Then that's that changes the light on a bit of information,
because none have gone through at least the portion that

(08:24):
we claim is open that.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
We're claiming. You know, you don't have to pay any tolls.
You can go on through here.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
The good old United States guarantees your passage, and at
least as of this time yesterday, nobody had gone through.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
And remember had that story.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Forget where it was from where we announced center big speaker, the.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Strait is open, Go ahead, go on through. Feel good.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Uncle Sam's got your back. And somebody on some ship
said f off.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Yeah, some captain or sailor said yeah, f off because
twelve sailors have been killed herd or missing.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, and yeah, God dang it, I'd need to.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Be on one of those big tankers slowly going through
the strait looking for a rocket, just waiting. I just
I took this job, working on a ship. I don't
want to beat a sucky life. I got a sucky job.
I don't see my family for months and months, and
now I got that the freaking mulla's.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Shooting at me. Yeah, that's rough. I hate.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
At the Taco bell in Kentucky last night, I'm just
waiting to see if I'm in the clear darting.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
I feel weird.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yeah, nothing's going my way. I put all my money
on France in the World Cup. What's next, I'm thinking
to myself, A rough rough time. Yeah, we should start
to show officially on a Friday, got a good clip
for you story Joe brought us the other day.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty on this.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
It is Friday, July seventeenth, the year twenty twenty six,
War Armstrong and getting we approved of this program.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Let's begin then, officially according the FCC rules rags.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Here we go at Mark, Jennifer, you consumed any alcohol
today because I can smell.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
It, which Sam clear. Both high in twitter pool of
you know, education and our work force.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
So it's it's it's hard and we're both married to
put the officers.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Why are you driving? I'm not meaning to do anything wrong.
I'm a waiting here.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I just you're really drunk when I talked to you,
you know, a couple hours later.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
So can you tell us what happened there? Story out
of Florida.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
You got a couple of school principles out partying. The
principal school principles all right on average numb nuts, the
average above average numb nuts in this case a couple
of them. So the one gal gets pulled over, she's drunk.
Her passenger is way too drunk to take the wheel,
so they take the one Gal off to jail, get
an uber for the other one.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
A couple of hours later, same cops. He's that same.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Jeep driving around, erratically, pulls it over. It's Gal number two,
still drunk driving around.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
He's like, what are you doing? I just sent you home.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
I didn't started it wrong. Oh my god, get an uber,
stay home to walk. What's the matter with you? Well,
she's drunk. She's making decisions. Well, she's drunk, That's what's
the matter.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah, idiots.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
So he got some news to catch up, catch up
on today. The Trump gave a speech, Well, he gave
an address last night. It wasn't to all of America,
depending on what channel you watched. CBS took it for
a while, then cut in and had some actually pretty
good analysis, I thought, pretty fair analysis.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
ABC and NBC didn't take it at all. He said, nah, lies, lies, lies,
and dam.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Lies, which had turned out there'd be a lot of
stuff in there that wasn't that.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
It was. It was other stuff. Why he felt like
he needed to address the nation with a primetime address.
I do not know.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
No even generally kind outlets they're saying as a bit
of a mish mash. And there was some valid stuff
in there, but it wasn't what he claimed. It's just
it's not getting good reviews at all. But when it's
a shame, it's Trump as usual doing the right thing
and the wrong way. If he had focused on a
couple of points, I think it would have been terrific,

(12:13):
including the need.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
For voter ID.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
How the vast majority of Americans agree with that point,
why don't we have it? I think that would have
been should have just hammered that, should have only hammered
poll saying, look, seventy percent of black people want voter ID.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
What are we even talking about here? Right exactly?

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Yeah, but it was a mishmash of accusations and dredging
up twenty twenty and we'll hit you with some of
the salient stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
It's just kind of discouraging. But I understand why.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Was a primetime address though he talks about stuff more
important than that every single day, sitting in his office
surrounded by people. I think he is actually obsessed with
the twenty twenty election. Seems to be for real, seems
to be that book will be written someday. Anyway, we'll
get to some of the other headlines and everything what's
going on. I hope you can stick around. If you

(13:01):
missed the segment, get the podcast Armstrong and Getty on demand.
A little bit later, we're gonna play some I don't
remember why Marco Rubio got on this yesterday, but he
gave a little speech about communism and capitalism and stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
He's so good at that.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Anyway, he was pushing back on that notion that people
make a lot that socialism works in principle, it's just
never been done right. And his pushback was, no, it
doesn't even work in principle. It doesn't even work in theory.
So let's stop there. And he lays it all out,
and I want to get to this later. I just

(13:41):
came across this, the DSA, that is your you know,
Democratic Socialist of America who claimed they're not communists.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
They put out there on their website. They've got their
new what what what.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
We're trying to accomplish And let me just give you
a little of it as a tease. The document on
the DSA website starts with their future without Capitalism. Well,
first of all, that makes wait a minute, but anyway,
what would life be like for a person of working
age in a DSA world, and I'm quoting from their website. Now,

(14:15):
you enjoy your work, it's interesting to you, and you're
well trained for it. You work as much as you're
able and no more than needed. And you would control
your own labor and see it going to good use.
It's not just a job to pay the bills. You'd
work as much as you're able and no more than needed.
Not only well, listen, this may be the first time

(14:39):
that science has identified something that is simultaneously one hundred
percent incoherent and yet completely untrue. I mean, it's it's
an unbelievable combination of those two qualities.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Byron new York from Washington Examiner, writing the perfect world
of the DSA. You have no debt, you don't need
health insurance. You don't pay a mortgage or have a
landlord because housing is a human right. Your your retirement
is publicly funded. Food, education, energy, medicine, and transportation aren't
for profit businesses. They're common goods and utilities.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Right.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Yeah, So you have a crappy, miserable apartment, barely enough food,
you wait for a long time in line for it.
You have crappy medical care when you can get it,
and you have zero hope of anything ever improving well,
and all of that is for a while. You can't
even sustain that life, right because you run out of money.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, but people keep falling for it.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
That's something They actually say that out loud on their website.
I would think they'd have to try to fool me
more than that. People will work as much as they
want and no more are you? Have you met humans
only as much as needed by by whom as commanded by?
What do you mean do you ever feel like not
working or not working the whole day or does that

(15:59):
ever happened to you? Or or do communists think that
most people want to go to work and bust their
ass for eight hours a day.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
It's just down of enjoyment.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
I don't know they're thinking is so detached from reality.
I have a difficulty grasping it.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
I do doo. Wow, they actually said that out loud.
You're more on that later from their own website. Yeah. Yeah,
a couple of headlines.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
You had the president's speech that was about a bunch
of different things kind of related to elections and Chinese
interference and ballot security and vote counting and like fifteen
different topics and I couldn't follow it.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
It was a mishmash.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Let's see, the Dispatch is going big on Ukrainian's protest
over fire defense minister. It was a young thire brand
who is really into drones and that sort of thing.
But I don't know what's going on there internally. White
Houses's visa rules, China launch his major AI model. Oh,
the China did have a giant AI conference. They're really
going hard at open source AI. We'll talk about that.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Hole later on. I want to hear about that. I
don't know that story.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Did we ever get into Apple Sue and chat GPT
and what that's all about?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Yeah? Some what I listening? Maybe I wasn't listening Armstrong
and Getty.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
She underscore the point of.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Oh my god, I forgot.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
I was sitting here wondering, what is this madness I
am is happening? I am one hundred percent the one
at fault here. Completely forgot that it's Friday and we
do clips of the week. Did it feel good, Michael?

Speaker 2 (17:38):
It really did. This whole show is out of order. Wow, wow,
nice job.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
I go deeper than the usual. Uh, I got the
schedule wrong. It's like here. It is Friday, and I'm
not appreciating the fact that we're headed into the weekend.
I'm still in middle of the week work mode.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
What has happened to me? That's not good? Spiritual bankruptcy?

Speaker 1 (18:04):
All right, you just forgot that it's time to take
a fond look back of the week that was.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
It's cow clips of the week. It's cow they call
it cow clips of the week.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
It's cow. Stunned Washington, remembering South Carolina Senator Lindsay.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Graham, I said, I thought Lindsay is going to be
living forever. I never thought. I never said, Lindsay, You're
gonna live forever.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
When you see Soda Maron cake and tell him that,
Lindsay said, Oh, because I voted for them, I would never.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Do to them what you've done to this guy. Any
nation's longest warn if Fannistan.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
President Trump now reinstating the US blockade on Iranian port,
who will become.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
The guardian of the Strait?

Speaker 1 (18:51):
US forces disabled an oil tanker trying to run through
it to Horon's carg Island.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Are not only not a ground campaign. Sometimes you need
a ground camp, but we have other people that will
do the ground campaign.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
For us Duran once again firing on its neighbors.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
We're gonna hit him very hard tonight. We're gonna hit
him very hard. Tomorrow night. We're gonna hit him very hard.
The night after. You're calling his wife a possible Chinese. Yes, yes, yes,
Is anything that I just said not honest or forthright? Yes,
you're not being honest or forthright? Who won them? I
can ask you the question. We can keep doing this?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Socialism is not just better capitalism, it's overthrowing an entire
in higher capitalisty. Everyone seemed to agree that the reason
why they didn't have a fridge as cool as that
one is because of capitalism.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
This could not be more wrong. The intestinal illness called
cyclist foriasis that causes fatigue, fever, and an explosive upset
stomach is now on the rise in thirty four states.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Now Wan Iran, and the NDAA is that Vietnam was worse.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Senator Jacobs, TMZ did you yesterday on the Senate floor?
I was a little freaked out. I didn't like think
it was a beaver at first.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
You know, I just grabbed this little brown blob in
the waters. A terrifying bison attack at Yellowstone National Park.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
I go Buffalo fast, I go Buffer Snow.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
The man and his grandchild stopped to take photos of
the bison.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
In the buffalo grass.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
In the Buffer snow, a sixty five year old grandfather
running for his life flung into the air.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Buffoo Buffo. Betsy resets Betsy driving again.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Stop it time, Goina, it's clips of the week.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
You know what we need.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
We need the the Argentine call of that goal. I
want to hear them freak out in Spanish.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Wouldn't that be angey? We'll see if we can find
that the joy.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
So I asked Claude that I asked Claude or chat GPT.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Claude.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I asked Claude, I said, will you go to the
DSA website, the Democratic Socialists of America, since they just
put out their new platform and everything like that, and
tell me just, you know, boil it all down for me.
This the DSA so far is really getting away with
hiding the ball of what they are to the mainstream

(21:28):
media because of the mainstream media's lack of interest or
are idiotic knee.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Jerk because they love the left.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
So I'm going to defend them right because I don't
think most of it must be lying about them. I
don't think most of the mainstream media is run by communists,
so I just think they just think, yeah, it's the left,
it's the energetic, cool young people, so I want to
be on their side. This is actually from the DSA's website.
All of this stuff, uh, universal free healthcare, of course,

(21:57):
including reproductive and gender affirming care, new public hospitals, free
medical training, so all that. Obviously publicly owned social housing,
as as Claude says yesterday, when I ask about that,
they said they don't describe what that means. Publicly owned
social housing, universal rent control, tight rules on investment properties,
so rent control, coast to coast reparations, Honoring tribal treaties.

(22:24):
Sorry I'm from South Dakota. Sorry, everybody who lives in
South Dakota, you gotta move out. We're honoring tribal treaties
now that belongs to the Zioux. The meanness is crazy stuff.
Demilitarized police and redirect funding as steps toward abolishing police
and prisons and qualified immunity.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
You're going to abolish police and prisons.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
That's in your platform for what you are as a party.
No police, no prisons. I mean, we're into Cartoonville here, people,
and now it's absolute madness. And they're taking over the
Democratic Party through the primary process. They've won like a
half if does an elections in the last six weeks
against mainstreem Democrats.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
And is the and is CBS News telling you with
this at the end of the day.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
By the way, the party which they represent wants to
abolish all police and prisons. I mean, because the average person,
I think would react to that like what, Yeah, that's crazy.
Socialist feminism, bodily autonomy, queer liberation, ending sex discrimination, whatever,
all those things are Green New Deal, federal jobs guarantee
whatever that is, public energy and transit, and phasing out

(23:31):
all fossil fuels, defund the Department of War, and close
oversea bases so we're not going to have a military
or any bases around the world. Free Palestine in military
and economic aide Israel. Abolish ice, legalized migration as an
actual open borders, yes.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Amnesty regardless of status. Abolish the Electoral College. I mean,
this is a the Senate.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
This is a complete remaking of the United States of America.
Replace the President and the Supreme Court with an executive
and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress. Abolished the Senate,
as Joe said, expand the House proportional representation blah blah blah.
Public ownership of the largest corporations in the essential industry.
So Apple and SpaceX and Navidia and all your biggest

(24:25):
companies would be government owned.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
I mean, this is this is unbelievable that this is.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
The fact that the Democratic Socialist Party has existed all
our whole lives. There's all kinds of parties out there,
and they have websites and they have platforms and all
the store So but these people are winning elections and
nobody's paying the attention. Yeah, yeah, I'm not worried of
a takeover really, but this has got to be exposed.
Come on New York Times, CBS Evening News next time

(24:56):
somebody with DSA next to their name wins. Afterwards, don't
just how exciting you know you pulled off an upset victory.
Make them Are you for abolishing the Senate? Do you
believe all the prisons should be closed? Do you believe
we should get rid of the Department of Defense and
use all that money for free housing?

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Do you believe all these things. Yeah, yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
And we ran the audio the other day of a
person after person after person within the DSA leadership saying,
our goal is to destroy the Democratic Party. We are
going to take it over and make it our party.
We're not there to be part of it or work
with them, We're there to take it over. And nobody
wants to talk about that either. This is bizarro fantasy

(25:43):
land and I don't think it'll get very far. But
every inch it gets is to the detriment of the US.
Every young person who's swept up in this is a problem.
So oh oh, I want to point out and we'll
get to this in a bit. A young firebrand young
woman for the Wall Street Journal went to a summer's
worth of DSA meetings and events and stuff, and it's

(26:05):
interesting on a couple of levels. Number One, they are
very very smart. They are putting the social back in socialist.
They're having all these get togethers where young people are
having real human contact and they're enjoying it because of
course they are. But the point of the gathering is
to promote the DSA and its beliefs. The other aspect

(26:26):
of the article that's super interesting is everywhere, at every meeting,
in every home, blah blah blah, is up with communism
memorabilia symbols. Chairman Mao's book, they are a validly communists.
The deadly is ideology and human history that killed more
people in the twentieth century than all the.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Wars added together.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
So I say to Claude, I'm not just trying to
be a pain in the ass, but how does all
this housing and medical care and all that get paid for?
Claude says to me, fair question, And the honest answer
is that it really say on the website the only
revenue mechanisms it names are aggressive wealth taxes on the
richest individuals and corporations defunding the military. That is a

(27:10):
lot of money. As Claud points out, if you decide
we're not going to have a military, that's next year's
budget is one point two trillion dollars. Next year's budget
is what the Chinese tell us our budget is because
without a military, oh, they will be run in the place.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I see what you mean.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
But so that is a lot of money. You're not
gonna have a military, and you got the problem Joe
just mentioned. But even Claud points out and then I'll
shut up about this. Blah blah blah blah blahax wealth
taxes don't scale. Total US billionaire wealth is about five
trillion dollars. A one time one hundred percent seizure wouldn't

(27:48):
cover their plans for ten years, let alone permanently.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
And it one goes on to say.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
The awkward comparison, and this is Claude, which is, uh,
I think we talk about this while you're gone. It's
got more left stuff than any of the major chatbots.
Claude does the awkward comparison. Claude says, Nordic welfare states
fund this with broad based vats, value added taxes, and
payroll taxes that hit middle income earners hard, not billionaires

(28:18):
middle class. So the math tends to point toward taxing
people well below the one percent, which the platform doesn't say.
So thank you for Claude for pointing out that in
the socialist countries where it works, and they cannot have
a military because we protected them, so that's not a
minor point. But in these countries where socialism works, using
my finger quotes, they tax the crap out of the
middle class. Yeah, so your dog doesn't get to decide

(28:45):
what it wants to eat. It doesn't read up on
the loco the latest diet and then go shopping for
its My dog wears a fitbit. Wow, that is impressive.
My dog was always a whoop guy. But whatever. But
you make those decisions for your dog, uly and your
dog's food might be good, but it's not great. And
that's why thousands of folks have added Roughgreens on top

(29:05):

O mago ls, and over twenty vitamins and minerals. Yeah,

Speaker 2 (29:44):

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Wolf I said, give me a little more on the
whole housing being a human right, and the Claude said,
that's the whole of it, reading the entire website verbatim
from the program, four sentences under housing for all Housing
is a human right, build new public we owned social housing.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Oh rent control nationwide. Your people are insane, all right.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Socialized medicine right now in Britain for non urgent hospital care,
the maximum target weight is eighteen weeks, so you need
to be the hospital they're targeting eighteen weeks, though the
average weight across England is currently around thirty eight weeks.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Thirty eight weeks.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
For dental care, routine checkops often take four to twelve
weeks of waiting, while urgent cases are tried to be
seen within seventy two hours. So you have an urgent,
you have a dental emergency, and they make this solemn
promise can get you in three or four days. I
we are at the DMV yesterday, me and my son
something that had to be done at the DMV, and

(30:51):
I told him, I said, people who want government healthcare.
This is what this is what it's going to be like.
Be you o to the doctor. Because I had the
experience to the DMV. This was his first time ever
at the DMV. It prepared him well for while I said,
most of the time when I've gone to the DV
in my DMV, in my life, I haven't been able
to accomplish what I want to do. That day, they
tell me there's some form I don't have that I

(31:12):
didn't even know about, and that is exactly what happened.
We had to go back home and get something else.
But I said, this would be like your thing. There
you go in and you're just in screaming pain and
they say, now do you have your FW four to six?
A what FW four to six?

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Do you have that?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Okay, well you got to have that. Next final note.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
In Britain, your doctor says, this person needs urgent cancer care.
The goal is for most patients to get their free
first treatment within two months. Oh I'd have been dead,
yeah exactly, And that's the goal and they don't reach
the goal. The fact that people fall for this crap
it astounds me, horrifies me, and frightens me. All I'm

(31:53):
asking is mainstream media to ask questions these people when
they win elections. They aren't the hiding this. It's on
their website, all right, it's right there on the website.
We've got mailbag next, Hetty. The Honesty is out today
and it's Hollywood's attempt to rejuvenate the movie industry with

(32:15):
an entirely new way of looking at it.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
And talk more about that later. Here's your freedom loving
quote of the day.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Continuing in our series about Iran, This from the great Man,
the greatest man, perhaps Barack Obama. As we speak, Iran
has rolled back its nuclear program, shipped out its uranium stockpile,
and the world has avoided another war. Only we had
stuck a third term out would have solved all the
world's problems. Mailbag Trama's Nope mail Bag at armstrong ngetty

(32:44):
dot com.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
First, this from Vic and Georgia. Not commie Fornia.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Okay, complicated, Dear complicated Jack at daytime drinking Joe.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
You have Biden's book all wrong.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
We're playing the promos about Biden's book yesterday. Perhaps not.
It's about how he graduated. The book is about how
he graduated, graduated, his valedatorian with three degrees. How he
got arrested for visiting Nelson Mandela in prison. How we
put out a fire in their house. How he used
to be a truck driver to take train to work
out Jill as a doctor. Now his uncle who's eating

(33:18):
by cannibal's in New Guineas.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
I forgot his uncle's eating by cannibals. It's a novel.
It's entitled that I had a kef care.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
Oh, I completely forgot about the cannibal story.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Any donation's longest warning of Hanashtan? Time man was that
any donation's longest warning of Hanashtan.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
That's from their promo for the book That's just sets malpractice.
I got this from Aaron in the words of my generation.
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do this, but Rubio,
Rubio Ruby, Oh, his speech yesterday getting a lot of attention.

(33:58):
We will play you some excerpts from It's a humdinger.
Take it on communism, which is what the DSA is. Yeah, exactly.
Marco is the man of the future in my opinion.
Let's see, and I said, in two three years, the
politics of America are going to be completely different.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
And Trump's going to be an afterthought.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
JT and Livermore says, wow, we see twenty twenty eight
completely different differently. First off, the Dems have never had
such a powerful rallying cry as they have with Trump.
They won't let that go in twenty twenty eight if
for no other reason than this proved so effective and
easy in the past see COVID, see DOGE, see school closures.
But realistically, all Republicans will be tainted with Trump and
most especially the VP in the cabinet, I Evans and Rubio.

(34:40):
Maybe twenty thirty two can be a non Trump election.
Maybe I think Rubyo is smart enough to thread that needle.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yeah, I think we'll say we'll find out together.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
I don't actually know when you are one hundred percent
right we'll find out together.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
I don't actually know.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
But I could see it being speaking of COVID like
that was all just so crazy and upending. Let's just
never talk about it again and move on, which is
what happened with the pandemic in nineteen eighteen, and what
has happened with COVID and the Trump era might be
like that, where everybody just is like, I don't please,
don't use the t word, let's talk about the future.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah, I don't want to talk about it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
A couple of stray notes the stuff we talked about
AI matchmaking. Andre points out there was an actual dating
app in the year late two thousands, at least it
was based on matching people off their personality quizzes.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I met my wife of now sixteen.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Years on ok Cupid, where you would take endless quizzes
giving you opinions on various issues, how.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Important they were to you, of blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
But I'm wondering if, since those algorithms seem to have
the ability to figure out things about us we don't even.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Know ourselves, if they can do that to match people up.
I wonder. I think it's absolutely worth exploring.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
And then, finally, on the widow of Corey, the firefighter
was killed at the Trump sassination attempt, comparatory. I don't
have an opinion on this, writes Jared Missouri, But is
it really so hard to believe that someone with knowledge
of the security setup set up got into this kids
here and told them there'd be an opportunity for a
clean shot.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
I don't think that's that far fetched.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
I don't know It's either that or such a horrific
level of incompetence one can barely comprehend it. We got
a lot more in the coming hours. If you miss
