Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
I am six forty. You're listening to the John Cobel
podcast on the iHeartRadio app. God. I just looked at
the New York Times and they glanced up at Fox News.
They have two completely contradictory news stories. Fox has, according
to the Department of Defense, bombing campaign, obliterated Iranian nukes.

(00:21):
I look in the New York Times and they're quoting
the Defense Intelligence Agency as saying that we only destroyed
two entrances to the nuclear facilities, and we didn't get
any of the underground infrastructure. We did not collapse their

(00:41):
underground buildings, contradicting what Trump is saying publicly claiming this
Defense Intelligence Agency said we only set back Around's nuclear
program by a few months. Department of Defense is saying
we completely destroyed the place. It's two government so there's
two different government agencies, two different news services. This is

(01:04):
this is where we are. All right, Well, let's go
to Jordana Miller. Maybe she knows. She's the ABC News
correspondent in Jerusalem. Been on with us many times. Jordana,
how are you?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I'm good? Actually, what are.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You hearing about? How much damage we did?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Well, we're just beginning to see the initial Israeli intelligent assessment,
and that assessment is that significant damage was done, enough
to set back the program, the Irani nuclear program by years.
Clearly in contrast to some of the reports out of

(01:44):
the US that the centrifuges weren't damaged, that is not
what the Israelis are saying. You know, it feels like
it defies common sense that one could one could drop
such powerful bombs, right with the thirty thousand tons of

(02:07):
explosives in each one, and I think seven or eight
were dropped at least on four dow and that's still
it would not have collapsed the inside and rendered the
facility inoperable. Right, you don't have to necessarily destroy it,

(02:28):
but if you knock it out, that was that's enough.
So I think, you know, we're gonna have to wait
and see, you know, as more reporting comes out. It
is early days since the strike, right, it was just
a few days ago. But you know, the Israeli Prime

(02:51):
Minister just gave what I would call his victory lap speech,
and he said, you know, these were's achieved there, he said,
we achieved you know, that are our aims in this
military operation, above and beyond uh, you know, in terms
of uh setting back the nuclear program, in terms of

(03:16):
destroying their ballistic missile capabilities. He said, the opening salvo
of this operation will be studied by uh, you know,
armies around the world that it was, you know, extremely effective.
And he you know, he said he also thanked President

(03:38):
Trump and said, you know, and said, Israel is indebted
to President Trump first for really ensuring its security for
generations to come. And he said he hopes to build
on that by widening the circle of peace. That of
course was is certainly a reference to normalization ill between

(04:00):
Israel and Saudi Arabia, something which the President is also
keen on on on achieving. You know that, I think
the Israelis feel good tonight. They feel much safer. And
I can say, you know, as someone who's lived here
for a long time and of course lived through the
horrors of October seventh, you know, I think for the

(04:25):
whole country there was there were there was a kind
of hovering fear for more almost two years now over
an eventual war with Iran. That was that was what
kept people up at night, right and now here, you know,
we've been through it. Uh, it's short, it's been short,

(04:47):
the United States joined, uh and it looks like we're
just on the other side. And in this sense, I
think people feel deeply, deeply relieved.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
What is it like under that for a year and
a half, more than almost two years now, I mean,
not knowing from minute to minute. If you know missiles
are going to come and destroy your home or your
apartment building or your workplace. I mean that's I mean,
I imagine that a moment goes by where it's not
somewhere in the back of your mind, so.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
It goes in waves of these last twenty months. But
the last twelve days have felt like one long day
with tremendous uncertainty, you know, and you know, waiting for

(05:43):
the shoe to drop, waiting for those sirens. You know,
I have two little children getting them, you know up.
You know, in the middle of the night to go,
I have to go across the street to the building
in front of my house because I'm in an old
house with a lot of glass, so it's not safe.

(06:04):
So we had to go outside, across a small street
and go down into the bomb shelter of my neighbor's house.
And you know it's it's not you know, it's not
a pleasant experience at all. And then of course to
hear this Irons and there were a lot of interceptions

(06:27):
over Jerusalem because the Iranians were aiming either further west
to Tel Aviv, which can go over Jerusalem, or they
were aiming south to some of Israel's air force bases.
So there were a lot of interceptions over Jerusalem, and
it was it's just not it's not pleasant. What can

(06:50):
I tell you. I mean, this morning, right before this eastfire,
we were in the in our bomb shelter for more
than two hours today because there's always you know, a
lot of intensity before before a ceasefire.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Yeah, I mean, there was one final round of blasts
that are On and Israel sent at each other until
Trump scolded them and started cursing this morning, and that
that video went around the world, and I guess everybody
took his message seriously, and they're back to a ceasefire,
right right.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
You should know that here in Israel in the president
cust since it's not Hebrew, it's English, they play it right.
It doesn't it doesn't even get beeped here, which I
was like, wow, okay, bring it on.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I didn't know that, right, all right, Well, well we'll
see what happens. Everything is just on a minute.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Five minute basis, right, I mean, I do think that
the ceasefire is going to hold Israel. It's not, you know,
just spin. Israel did achieve a lot in twelve days.
It's quite remarkable. Iran was in a corner and they
clearly had to take the exit ramp. There was always
a question whether the regime was going to choose its

(08:13):
survival or the Iran nuclear program, right, and it's clearly
chosen it's survival, right, And it was at least smart
enough to know that, you know, after getting whipped a
little bit for twelve days, smart enough to know that
Iran was in no shape to go and never would
have been anyway to go head to head with the

(08:34):
with America.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Right.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Yeah, they seemed to be unable to mount an effective
defense right now, right, or.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Even offense really to be honest. So you know, we
went from one hundred ballistic missiles in the first couple
of days after Israel's opening strike to you know, twenty
and ten over the last several days. Not that it's
less scary, but the damage is less.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Jordana Miller ABC News and Jerusalem. Thank you for coming
on again.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Thanks talk soon.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
All right, that's quite a situation to be in for
twenty months. We'll see if this holds. We come back
and we'll play some of the greatest hits of this morning. See,
we have to bleep this stuff out, Yeah, we do.
You know, can't we what's the Hebrew word for what?
Trump says? Oh, Eric, you can we use the Hebrew

(09:29):
word on the air here? I don't think so. Really, well,
they at least can use the English word. Well, they
don't have the FCC. Oh well, we'll play a We'll
play the whole thing when we come back. His rants
with the bleeps.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Okay, it's going on right now. You look at Fox
and their graphics, says. Department of Defense says bombing campaign
obliterated a rain nukes. CNN exclusive sources tell CNN early
US intelligence assessment suggests strikes and Iran did not destroy
nuclear sites, So they were either we either obliterated all

(10:13):
the nukes or see it says we did not destroy
the sites. That sounds like complete opposite world, right, Am
I misunderstanding? The language here. Have I had a stroke?
I don't get this, that's what CNN New York Times
are saying. And I don't know how is anybody independent

(10:41):
getting to the sites? Would it be allowed near the sites? Well,
Israel did bomb the streets getting up to the site, right,
That's what I read is that the paths to get
there because they want to keep the Iranians from assessing
the damage and quickly coming up of the rebuilding plan.
So and obviously there's nobody underneath the rubble there. I mean,

(11:04):
that was that was like how many how many three
thirty thousand pound bombs did we drop on the site?
Like a half a dozen? At least there's at least
seven or eight is what Organa said. Seven or eight.
All right, Well that's that's like two hundred and fifty
thousand pounds of bomb. So I don't know who's going

(11:26):
to get underneath that kind of rubble. Plus you've got
the uh, the centrifuges are supposed to be three hundred
feet underground, like thirty stories. There are some reports saying
the centrifuges are all destroyed. Everybody's got an exclusive, everybody's
got the big graphic the bullet and the red on

(11:47):
the screen, and all right, let's go to Trump. This
is just a good thing to wake up to. Trump. Uh,
I don't know. I was gonna shoe Trump woke up,
but I don't think he sleeps. It looks like the
the Iranians sent some one for the road missiles to

(12:08):
Israel when they were supposed to be in the midst
of the ce spire, and Israel, as usual, sent many
many more back. I wouldn't even I wouldn't even druw
spitball in Israel. Right now here is Trump talking to reporters,
and he's pissed at everybody. Ron violated. We had a

(12:32):
ron for Benas to see you.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
They violated, but Israel violated it too. In Israel. As
soon as we made the deal, they came out and
they dropped the load of bombs the likes of which
I've never seen before, the biggest load that we've seen.
I'm not happy with Israel. You know, when I say, okay,
now you have twelve hours, you don't go out in
the first hour. It just drop everything you have on him.

(12:56):
So I'm not happy with them. I'm not happy with
Iron either, But I'm really unhappy if Israel's going out
this morning because the one rocket that didn't land, that
was shot perhaps by mistake, that didn't land, I'm not
happy about that. You know what we have, We basically
have two countries that have been fighting so long and

(13:16):
so hard that they don't know what the they're doing.
Do you understand that.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Again, we're still looking for the Hebrew word to that expletive.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Trump then went after CNN and uh, he calls it MS,
D n C.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
So I think the reason we're here is because those pilots,
those three two pilots, did an unbelievable job. And you know,
the fake news like CNN in particular, they're trying to
you know, they're trying to say, well, I agree that
it was destroyed, but maybe not that destroyed.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
You know what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
They're really hurting great pilots that put their lives in
the line. CNN has scum and so is MS. Then
they're all and frankly the networks aren't much better. It's
all faketures. But they should not have done that. Those
pilots hit their targets, those targets were obliterated and the
pilots should be given credit then, not after the pilots

(14:13):
are after me. They want to try and debate.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
What's the Hebrew word for scum? Eric, I want you
to I'm not fluent. I'm sorry you're not you What
did you do when you went to Hebrew school? All
those I learned the prayers, you didn't learn the F word.
You didn't learn scum. No, I need you to do
a Hebrew translation. I'll take some Hebrew for dummies later.

(14:38):
So anyway, that was Trump's morning. Now, after he lashed
out at everybody, both sides stopped bombing. So we're looking
at what about a good eight hours of relative peace?
And now you have all these conflicting news stories here
Fox has the International Atomic Energy Chief says A has

(15:00):
far less capabilities. Now, so that's somewhere between total destruction
and didn't destroy the sites. I don't know how they
could say that at least some of the sites were
not destroyed or a partial destruction. I don't know if
percentage that would be. I mean, it was eight a
bunk or buster bombs. All right. When we come back, now,

(15:28):
we're going to get into what could be the next
step that the US is worried about is here in
America Iranian sleeper cells. As we told you yesterday, about
fifteen hundred Iranians were stopped at the border during the
glorious Biden years of open borders, and about half of

(15:48):
them were stopped and sent away. The other half were accepted.
None of them were investigated in any way, none of
them were vetted. They're running loose in the country, so
we don't know if they're opening up small businesses or
maybe an accounting practice, or they're putting together dirty bombs.

(16:13):
We don't know. But the US government has gone after
fifteen fifteen Iranians, and we'll tell you all about it.
We've got some comments from Tom Homan. That's all.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Next, you're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI
A six forty.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
We are on every day from one until four o'clock
and after four o'clock John Cobelt Show on demand on
the iHeart app. Listen to what you missed. If you
heard Debra's newscast, and you should have. She played clips
of what was going on in the legislature yesterday. Carl
Demyo was speaking. He was explaining why even though he's

(16:56):
a gay Republican he couldn't vote on their resolution, I
guess for Pride Month because there was a lot of
incendiary language in it that he thought was wrong. And
this smug, obnoxious weasel who was running the session, a
Democrat named Josh Loenthal, interrupted him three times to call

(17:21):
another member up, and Loenthal and the whole rest of
the legislature would wish this person a happy birthday. And
it was really mocking and bullying like you'd see in
middle school. It was really gross to watch. I watched.
The whole thing is about seven minutes long. We're going
to play you excerpts from it right before the two

(17:42):
o'clock news and then Josh Carl's going to come on
and talk about it. Boy, But that Josh Loenthal, what
a slimy little pr c Wow, what I didn't do anything.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
The R.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Trump's Department of Homeland Security is tracking down Iranian illegal aliens.
They arrested sixteen in the last couple of days. Five
more were arrested yesterday. These are illegal aliens who got
through Joe Biden's border. That was hard to do. And

(18:28):
let me give you a rundown and who these guys were,
because you know they're looking to see if there's taras
sleeper cells. So let's start with Mohammed hassanpur forty five
years old, arrested in Baltimore, and he was previously convicted
of criminal assault with a deadly weapon or force likely

(18:52):
to produce great bodily injury. But he only got a
He only got under a year in jail behind bars,
an illegal alien criminal, and here in America they don't
put him in jail for even a year, and then
he's loose, and now he's been tracked down. He was
also previously previously sentenced to three months for battery of

(19:16):
a spouse. Actually it's a long category spouse, ex spouse, date,
et cetera. That's the official charge. So I don't know
exactly what woman he beat up, but it was somebody
that he was socially involved yet involved with. Oh he
also got two years for stalking. This guy was allowed
to remain in the country. How about this man, Cava

(19:40):
Abdi arrested in Chicago for violating the Immigration and Nationality Act.
He'd been convicted almost twenty five years ago for selling cocaine.
How about that still walking around the country. I got
another one here arish Rustami. He was arrested. He had

(20:01):
a prior sex offense. And oh, this is a good one.
Abdullah Abdullahammad Raga ragab Zade, Abdullah Mohammad ragab Zade. He
had a deportation or order from twenty years ago. He's
an Iranian citizen. He was here. He'd been arrested in

(20:23):
nineteen ninety nine for domestic violence, vandalism and intimidation. He
also faced two other arrests in jail time. In May
six he couldn't get the proper paperwork to go back
to Iran, so he was given an order of supervision
and released. And he's been here for twenty for twenty years.

(20:46):
They couldn't get the paperwork together. Uh, here's another one.
Oh yeah, yeah, I don't know how I'm going.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
To do this one.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I should make you do these. Oh no, I'm worse.
Your page pronouncedes. Nobody's expecting me to do this smoothly?
Sahand and this is one word yousef finocera body.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Oh sounds good to me.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Arrested for in Fort Worth, Texas. He was convicted in
twenty thirteen of aggravated sexual assault of a child II
twelve years later, he's still here. He was told by
a judge in twenty thirteen get out of the country.
He didn't leave the country, and nobody made him. Trump

(21:35):
was talking about sleeper cells play cut number three.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
What else here?

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Dy in sleeper cells in the United States might let
a lot of supercells invite? Was a a competent president.
I had no idea what he was doing. He hardly
have assigned a document. Other people signed documents for him
with the auto ben it was gross incompetence and among
everything else, he let a lot of supercells in many
from any But hopefully we'll take care of him. What

(22:03):
Biden did to this country should never be forgotten.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
I just finished the Jake Tapper book. It's far worse
than I think the average person understands. If you actually
read the book and absorb the whole story from beginning
to end, it is shocking. It actually kind of makes
you sick. Nobody who's in the Biden government should be
allowed anywhere near Washington, DC. Ever, again, none of them,

(22:34):
this was astonishing and the reporters, nobody should ever watch
or listen to some of these people. Ever. Again, they're
complete liars, They're totally corrupt. Just read Jake Tapper's book,
and I also got the sense reading his book that

(22:55):
even this book only has about ten percent of the
real story because so much of it was going on
behind the scenes. There's so many people. It was like
two hundred unnamed sources, but lots of Democrats. And I
think we have We're lucky, We're all alive. That's what

(23:15):
I was thinking at the end of the book. We're
lucky we survived to this point because there literally was
nobody in the Oval office running things, and the people
who tried to take his place were all crazy left
wing progressive idiots and liars. What they were interested they
were interested interested in the power. In fact, one of

(23:38):
the guys in the Inner Circle he arranged to get
a very lucrative contract to be a major campaign figure
for Biden to run again, And that's why he was
pushing Biden to run again, because he was going to
make a lot of money running the campaign. Just read
the book. If I start talking about it, here would

(24:01):
go on for twenty years. I need to borrow that
book from you. Uh it's it's really it's really worth it.
And I don't like Jake Tapper at all. And I
think you know, he's he's a phony baloney because he
was part of the big cover up. But I got
to say, they got the story and it's something else
when we come back. Oh, just one more thing, you

(24:25):
could believe it. After all we did to damage possibly
destroy Iran's nuclear weapons system. There are progressive Democrats that
want to impeach Trump, and they actually had a vote today.
And the thing is, one hundred and twenty eight Democrats
who are not insane voted against impeaching Trump. So the
h the idea failed three hundred and forty four to

(24:49):
seventy nine. But they actually had an impeachment vote, and
most of the Democrats sided with the Republicans and Trump
three forty four to seventy nine. Know who offered up
the resolution? Al Green? He was the whack job who
got ejected from that joint session of Congress where Trump spoke.

(25:11):
Remember Trump was doing a State of the Union like
address and al Green was the crazy old guy with
the cane and he was shaking the cane to Trump
and yelling at him, well, he wanted to impeach him,
and he only had seventy eight supporters. All right, we
come back, We're going to play some more of Carl
Demyo getting mocked by us a bunch of schoolboys and

(25:33):
schoolgirls in the legislature. One of the most embarrassing things
I've ever seen. And if you hear this and realize
you're paying these people to make all the laws that
are choking the crap out of California, you listen to
how they acted, how they behave, and how mean and
bullying and disrespectful they are. To Carl Demyo, that whole

(25:54):
thing made me sick too. I'm getting sick a lot
these days.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
You're listening to John Cobbels on demand from KFI Am sixty.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Carl de Myle coming on in just a few minutes
after Deborah's news. But I want to play with you. Play.
I want to play with you. How am I talking about?

Speaker 7 (26:12):
Are you gay?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
No?

Speaker 3 (26:15):
I'm not clearly or not?

Speaker 2 (26:16):
No, I'm not, but thank you for asking. Sure I care?
So sign you care? Yeah, we're gonna be I want
to play for you. Clips little excerpts here of Carl Demyele.
He was trying to explain to the Assembly why he
was voting against this Pride resolution. And he's gay, He's

(26:38):
a Republican uh, and he wanted to make it clear
that you know, he agrees with the general intent of it,
but there was so much inflammatory and scendiary language in
it that he wasn't comfortable. And there's this smug, asonine
little jerk, Josh Lowenthal, who is a Democrat from Long Beach,

(27:02):
and I guessed he was presiding over the assembly session
and Carl was going through his explanation of what he
objected to, and Loenthal kept interrupting him to call on
another member and wish that member a happy birthday. He
did it three freaking times. We're going to play you

(27:24):
a montage of these moments. Role.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
What this resolution does is it goes much further than
that to endorse very controversial and extremist policy positions, which
is very unique.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
Mister Demos, very mister Demio.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
Just yes, please, mister just a moment, mister reiding clerk,
can you hold mister Demio's time? Sorry, I have a
very important announcement today, mister Juan Carrillo.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
I understand it's your birthday today. Members, will you.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Join me in pushing mister Carrillo a very happy birthday today,
pushing you many happy returns. Car Enjoy your day, mister Demiyah,
you may continue, and thank you for holding my time.

Speaker 5 (28:07):
So where we left off about the the extremest views
that are endorsed in this resolution, we could do that
here today, but you chose not to.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
I offered the author. Mister Demio's just one moment, please,
just a moment.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
We're gonna have it.

Speaker 6 (28:20):
Excuse me, mister Demyle, just a moment, mister reading clerk,
can you hold mister Demyo's time.

Speaker 7 (28:25):
Members You'll have to forgive me.

Speaker 6 (28:27):
But on Thursday last week, I forgot it was Damon
Connolly's birthday. Can you please join me in welcoming very
happy birthday for mister Damon Connolly.

Speaker 7 (28:39):
We love you, mister Connolly. We love you so much.
Mister Demile, please continue.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Look, all the interruptions don't change the fact that this
resolution lets down the LGBT community. We could have achieved
a historic vote today. Now, that doesn't mean that we're
going to agree on laws like ending girls sports, or
taking away parents' rights, or how having a standard that
a foster parent has to agree to a sex change operation,

(29:07):
which are controversial positions that unfortunately are referenced and implied
in this resolution.

Speaker 7 (29:13):
Mister Demia, I'm going to have to interrupt you one
more time. Maybe you don't mind, sir.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
If you wantn't mind waiting, mister reading clerk, can you
hold his time? Members, I'm unsure if you're aware, But
tomorrow is mister Gibson's birthday.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
Can you all join me and missing mister Gibson a.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
Very very happy birthday. Happy birthday, mister Gibson, Happy birthday.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
We love you. Mister Demayo.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
You have one minute and four seconds remaining. Members here,
decorm please please continue. Mister Demayo.

Speaker 5 (29:45):
If anyone had any questions as to whether this is
political theater and circus, all you had to do is
watch the interruptions for birthdays, notwithstanding the fact that we
celebrate your birthdays.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
But I think.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
California voters of all stripes Democrat, Republican and between understand
what I'm saying today is true. This is not about
affirming the LGBT community. It's about using them as a
political pawn to divide us.

Speaker 6 (30:09):
Thirty seconds, when you had an opportunity to unite us,
you chose division.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
You're out of order, mister Demayo. You're out of order.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
We had an opportunity for a union.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
I think that was the last. You know what, Josh
Lollenthal was one of the weirdos who voted to keep
it legal to buy a sixteen or seventeen year old
for sex. He's one of those. Or let's say not
make it a crime, not make it a felony. You

(30:45):
remember that controversy from a couple of months ago that
was as obnoxious and arrogant and smug as I've ever
seen anything. I mean, just watch it. They were bullying
Carl Demayo and everybody was laughing at him. All the
Democrats are laughing and clapping and enjoying their stupid prank.

(31:06):
