(00:00):
It's KFI AM six forty and you'relistening to the Conway Show on demand on
the iHeartRadio app. We remembered ourgood buddy Sam Rubin in the first hour,
if you want to go back andpodcast that. That was really cool.
Sam Rubin passed away today at agesixty four. And I've known Sam

(00:21):
for years, probably close to thirtyyears, twenty five thirty years, and
always a very very nice guy, always upbeat, always had a lot of
energy, Always very positive, youknow, very positive dude, which is
very difficult to be in Hollywood wherehe never s'd on anybody. I never
heard him, you know, I'msure he did at some point, you

(00:45):
know, rip somebody apart. Inever heard it, though. Always a
real positive guy. So we'll missSam Rubin. Channel five has been doing
an entire day of remembering Sam Rubin, and I don't think they've done another
story, and I don't think they'vegone to commercial breaking either. Since one
o'clock. It's five hours and tenminutes and this might go on for as

(01:07):
long as they're doing news, whichmight be another hour or so. But
that's really cool of KTLA to rememberSam Ruben like that. Sam Ruben all
right, We've got some other newshere going on. This happened yesterday.
We hadn't had time time to getto it, but I took this personally.
At the beginning of this week wehad Mortz Delhi, Beautiful Deli and

(01:30):
Tarzana. Somebody threw a brick throughthe window and that's my Deli. I
take that personally. And now somebodyhas burned Mike Thompson RV's to the ground,
and I take this personally too, because I purchased an RV from Mike
Thompson. We used to do thecommercials for Mike Thompson RV and I love
it. I love Mark Thompson RV. But some idiot went in and lit

(01:51):
all these RVs on fire. Itappears a man somehow got onto the gated
property. And while it's not clearhow the fire started, I'm told by
him manager that about two million dollarsworth in trailers were damage, so it
was quite the fire. In fact, I want to show you video of
the intense fire. According to abattalion chief with the Santa Fe Springs Fire

(02:13):
Rescue, it was about twelve thirtyovernight when they got a call from with
your PD who was responding to apossible burglary in progress here at Mike Thompson's
RV superstore on Firestone Boulevard. Alongthe five officers saw smoke coming from the
back corner of the property. Bythe time firefighters arrived, multiple trailers were
on fire. Fire investigators and withyour police officers are now working together to

(02:38):
find out how the fire started.Yeah, I can imagine how it started.
You know, some vagrant maybe lookingfor a place to sleep, broke
into the lot, then you know, tried to cook something and all hell
breaks loose. We're reviewing video surveillance. The property has some cameras on site,
so they're sitting through that information rightnow. I asked Battalion Chief Marine

(03:01):
if this is considered an arson investigation, knowing that someone was trespassing shortly before
the fire started. He said, they're working to determine that. I'll move
it along for him. Yes,yes, I would go with the arson
route. I would definitely investigate arson. And the manager I spoke with,
by the way, says he doesn'tknow again how that person got on property

(03:22):
because the entire law is gated.Yeah, it's easy to get on you
know, you pop over the gateand Bob's your uncle. You're in Why
are there's a flight attendant who hasbeen arrested? What did he or she
do? For flight attendants under arestaur i for allegedly smuggling millions of dollars
in drug money? Oh no.The Dominican Republic federal prosecutors say they used

(03:46):
crew member security lanes at JFK Airport, allowing them to bypass TSA security.
They say they were part of aninternational drug ring, trafficking fetanyl For each
face now up to a decade inprison. Oh, boys, tough,
and I don't know if it's worthit. I don't know. You got
to sort of be able to retireon that. You get that, you
do that once and you get caught, you get spend ten to twenty years

(04:08):
in prison. Man, your wholelife stops when you get thrown in prison
like that. Oh it's very very, very very difficult, very difficult time
for these young flight attendants. Notso great, all right, you know,
it's defolution. I thought of youwhen I saw this online earlier.
But have you seen that there's goingto be a spin off of the office
I did. Isn't that wild? It's pretty crazy? Yeah, let's see

(04:30):
how good it is. Office. It's been a decade since this final sentimental
moment. I thought it was weirdwhen you picked us to make a documentary,
But all in all, I thinkan ordinary paper company like dunder Mifflin
was a great subject for a documentary. There's a lot of beauty in ordinary

(04:55):
things. That was a great funfact we got from Savanah's interview with John
krasinscant he shot the opening sequence footage. I did not know that it was
amazing. Don't get too emotional, everybody but sat in the same universe as
The Office. The new documentary isofficially in the Worst There's new Details were
revealed yesterday out about the Office spinoffseries. Same fictional crew that filmed under
Mifflin's Day to Day will find itsnext subject in a historic and dying Midwestern

(05:20):
newspaper seting and the publisher who's tryingto revive it with volunteer reporters. Star
Wars actor Dominal Gleason is set tostar alongside White, Lotus standout Sabrina and
Bachatore. The series starts production inJuly. It's going to be streaming on
Peak. Yes, and I loveit. Is that a dish. I'm

(05:42):
sure it's delicious as it is.It's great when everybody in the morning show
talks at the same time, youcan understand everything, right, haven't they
been told that a million times? Not for nine people to talk at once.
I swear in every morning show, especially the national ones specifically, they're
just that nobody finishes the sentence beforethe next persons already talking. Yeah,
it's brutal. It's brutal, allright, Bellio who lives out in Irvine

(06:08):
near these tust and hangars there inthe news again, We'll come back and
tell you what they've discovered about thetust and hangars. I know a lot
of people live in Orange County areworried about the lead and the asbestos in
these tust and hangars that burn down. We will come back and tell you
if indeed you're safe to go backat least to that area. We're live
on KIM six Fortymember. We rememberedSam Ruben who passed away today in our

(06:30):
four o'clock hour, So go backand podcast that if you'd like, four
to five pm. And on KTLA, they've been remembering him all day long.
They're into their fifth hour, fivehours and fifteen minutes, and they
have not showed the same clip twice. That's how much material they have on
the twenty five or thirty years thatSam Rubin was at kt LA. Very

(06:53):
very sad day here in Los Angeles. You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on
Demayo from KFI AM six forty.Mother's Day is the day after tomorrow.
What are you doing for Mother's Day? Bell? Certainly mic on there so
Belly can come on the air andtell us what how exciting your Mother's Day

(07:13):
is gonna be? Getting anything formom? Yeah? I bought my mom
some gifts, really I did.Would you get her? Okay, they're
not really like, uh like youjust sound bad gifts? No, no,
no, no no. I boughther some battery operated lamps and a
charger because there there power has beengoing out a lot because of the winds.

(07:35):
Oh, I didn't know that, and so she's Yeah, in the
last couple of weeks she sat inthe dark for a while. It's horrible.
I know. So I got evenspring for a generator. No,
but if you'd like to offer oneup, that'd be great, all right,
they we'll do that. I don'tknow she could handle a battery operated
lamp like a flashlight. No,they're actually cute little lamps that you can

(07:58):
charge up. Okay, they're cute, and I got her three of them
so she could put them across thehouse. Heavy Mother's Day batteries not included.
Sorry I did forget battery. Ohyou did? Yeah, Oh that's
okay. She'll just walk down theicy sidewalk to a seven to eleven and
buy expensive batteries for Mother's Day.Oh yeah, I forgot that. Look
get her card. Uh no,no, I'll battery case call her.

(08:26):
Okay, all right, But youlove your mom. I adore my mother.
She's an incredible woman. Yeah, and you have a great relations How
often you talk to her? Likealmost every day? Really? Yeah?
My drive home? You he likesto keep me company. Oh that's very
nice of me, and it makesit fly by I bet. Yeah.
No, I love talking to her. She's my best friend. And when

(08:46):
you get home, do you wrapit up with her? Like, oh
I just pulled in hear the dog. Well, what's funny with her is
I'll say I said, well,I'm almost home, and then she every
night she repeats it. She goesyou're almost home, And I said yeah,
and then she likes to's talking like, yes, oh, did I
tell you Cynthia is coming by inthe morning and we're gonna go half brunch,
And so I end up sitting inmy garage talking like for an hour,

(09:09):
another ten or fifteen minutes, butit's okay. Oh boy. Do
you ever just like do one ofthese things like hello, hello, where
it goes out? Damn it,damn it, solar storm, Yo,
good night? Is that what youdid? Yeah, that's the best way
to go hello, Oh great, hello, Hello, damn it? What
do you have planned? I don'thave. My mom passed away eight days

(09:35):
after my daughter was born back intwo thousand and five. So I just
sort of celebrate my wife because she'sa good mother. She's a great mother.
And we'll probably just sit around thehouse. Ma and my sister come
over, and we'll go out andmeet someone I don't know. I don't
know, maybe barbequ Oh maybe doyou barbecue? Yes? I don't know

(09:56):
that. Yes, I'm pretty awesome. I used to do it like two
or three times a week, andnow maybe I don't know, two or
three times a month. Barbecue chickenand meat. Look at you. Yes,
wow, burgers and hot dogs.I could totally see you at the
grip. Oh yeah, I'm knockon wood here. I need to pat

(10:16):
myself on the back. But I'mpretty good around the barbecue. You.
Yeah, we've never had any Well, I can't bring it in, you
know, be cold by that,But I do. I do have a
thermometer, a meat thermometer. Hello, hello, God, damn damn it.
Hell, I have a meat thermomeitorand everything has to be one hundred
and sixty five degrees or more sixtyfive, one hundred and sixty five and

(10:39):
one hundred. I don't stop atone hundred and sixty four. If I'm
cooking chicken and it's one sixty four, I cook until it's one sixty five.
And my theory is you got tokill all the bacteria in the chicken,
and the really strong bacteria. Theycan handle one sixty four. Is
that right? Yeah, they can'thandle one sixty five. Really, that

(11:00):
one little I'll tell you a mistakethat I made though. I if we
have any meat that's gone bad,you know it's expired, I put it
in the freezer and I freeze ituntil trash day. I don't stick in
the trash cans and then spend fourdays in the trash, it'll start to
smell. I get that. SoI stick in the freezer and I put

(11:22):
it in the trash. On theway to work yesterday, I put it
in my car and then I wasgonna, you know, drive down our
alley and put it in the trash. Can you forgot I forgot? No,
No, that stale port who wasin my car for twenty four hours?
Oh wow, so you forget that? I you know what? And

(11:46):
when I put it in my car, I said, I know I'm gonna
forget this. And that meat satnext to me for Oh how bad?
How bad was that? It wasn'tthat bad. It was ripe, but
it wasn't you know. It wasn'tlike you you have to run out of
the car. You could smell it. You could smell it for sure.
When you first realized that, dowell. First of all, I look

(12:07):
down to see if it was leakingunder the seat. When you put it
on the seat, it all thoughtit was old. Put it on the
floor, you know, but thenit gets into the carpet, you know,
it gets into thee But I thought, oh, that's horrible. Now
I got to go clean that up, you know, another to do.
I didn't think your your vehicle couldget any worse than it was. You

(12:31):
did it. It's about it's aboutto be launched, I think. I
think it's almost when you have whenyour car smells like bad pork, you
know, uncooked, old bad pork, I think it's time to That's the
car that I parked at Burbank Airportand I valet parked it. You know,

(12:52):
I made a couple of bucks.I can valet park once in a
while. And when I came back, on the ticket, you know,
they described your car in the ticketin case you lose your ticket, and
it said on the ticket white oldblinking, and then it said dirty,
and then dirty was circle. Andwhat's the card you got just recently?

(13:13):
I recently got a car that sayswe buy junk cars. Card was left
on my wingshield, and I droveup and down the street looking to see
if anyone else got one. Nobody, nobody, just me. Just now
it smells like pork. And nowit smells like old bad pork. Right,
so it's worse. I got thatcard before the pork. Yeah,

(13:37):
that's even worse than it's horrible.Stephush, What are you doing for Mother's
Day? You got plans? Yeah, we're probably because she hates the crowds,
so we're just gonna probably go getcoffee and just hang out and take
a nice walk by the beach. Is that right? Yeah? Almost romantic?
Nod way croach. What about you? Do? You call your mom?

(13:58):
Mom's in Florida, and and Ilooked up a couple of places in
the town that she lives in,and they happen to have a one of
those cat cafes. So I gota couple of gift certifics to go in
there and take she she usually goeslike with one of her grandkids or her
grand nieces or nephews that she alwaysdoes stuff with them. She loves doing
things with us, with very youngkids and just taking them places. She's

(14:20):
she's one of those people that believesin doing things and giving events and moments
as opposed to things. Oh that'skind of cool. So what's a cat
cafe? What does that? Yougo in there and there's a bunch of
cats roaming around, You get tohang out, you can read, you
can do there's dreams and snacks. And stuff. You can kind of hang
out in there and you just kindof cuddle with some cats that are there
that are available for adoption as well. Oh that's a great idea. Yeah,
they're just free room and cats andspeak store. Man. Oh man,

(14:41):
I've never even heard of that before. Yeah, that's kind of a
cool idea, the cat cafe. And she's a big cat person. So
yeah, where's is that Angel Weatherstoday? No, who's with us?
Michael Morris? Michael Morris is here. Yes, hey, buddy, what
are you doing for moms for momand Mother's Day? Well, just handing
her a nice big box of chocolatesand telling her I love you. My

(15:03):
kind of guy, minimalist, Yesexactly. Yeah. Do you even stop
that gout? Do you even stopthe car? You just slow down and
toss it out? Oh no,no, I stopped the car going.
No, I don't throw them Mychocolate's there. I pay too much for
them? Is it sees or yougo high end or is it safe way?
He's eighty two dollars worth. Buteighty two dollars worth of chocolate?

(15:26):
Oh yeah, it's a three poundbox. Oh my god, got am
mighty man? You got there's moneyin traffic. I guess it's wild Man,
all right. Anybody else with us? Nobody else? Right? All
right, you're listening to Tim ConwayJunior on demand from KFI AM six forty.
We had the kids in from lutherWait, let's turn the mics on

(15:50):
here, here we go. There'sone there and Steve Gregory's with us col
Lutheran, right, yes, andAmanda Janssen is one of the finalists.
We said, if anybody gets us, you know some cool hits online on
social media, we'd love to havethem back. And four kids did it,
and the other kids said, screwit, We're not going to do
it. So we didn't have thosekids back. But Amanda Jansen, welcome

(16:11):
back. How are you? Iam so fantastic, applause and everything.
Thank you so much with you nowyou're not a you last day of schools
today? Yes, so the graduationceremony was actually today. I had my
last final yesterday at eight am.Okay. And you're in the radio program
there, oh yes, and Ilove it. I seal your radio Okay,
and you have your own radio show. I sure do. It's called
Spill your Guts. Spill your Gutsand what is that about. Oh,

(16:33):
it's my favorite topic in the world. So I think the only thing that
unites humans like on a core basiclevel is love. So the only thing
that could unite them more than thatis the loss of love. So I
bring everybody on my show, allmy friends, and I interview them about
their breakups. Or I'll read likeReddit stories about people breaking up with other
people and be like, well,I think they were wrong. I think
they were right, And then Iplay a bunch of breakup music. We
just had Olivia Rodrigo on. That'sfantastic. All right, that's cool.

(16:56):
So that's kind of the whole premiseof it, and I love it.
It's a great idea. Don't anybodyelse is doing that? Thank you?
You know, the breakup stories exactly. Well, that's why I'm here,
right, Yeah, And nobody hasmore breakup stories than Steve Gregory. That
was the segue of all segues. My friend Steve Gregory is our investigative reporters.
All right, that's what they tellme. Yeah, And you're working

(17:18):
on a new show that maybe, and we'll play some news here and I'm
manage Jansen will be co hosting withus for the next half hour or so.
But you're working on a college student'sstory, right. We are now
in the creation stages of Studio sixforty, which will be a new program,
a round table discussion featuring college journalistsand broadcast majors. And what we'll

(17:41):
do is we'll review the news ofthe week. And it's going to be
interesting because we're going to try tomatch up the students from different colleges around
southern California and then we'll present thetopic of the day or the topic of
the week to them and then we'lljust see where it goes. We're going
to actually talk about out the newsof the week through the lens of a
college journalist college podcast. Has calLutheran been attacked by all the strikers and

(18:08):
the sit ins and the protesters andthe whole run. We're just a small
little Lutheran university, so when I'mpretty lucky and avoiding all of that,
we're fairly calm in that aspect. But you should still pick hallou. We
have interesting things to offer. Yeah, well, then let me ask it
to you this way, of course, how would you have covered the protest
if it happened at your university?Oh? Wow, that's a really insightful
question. I think I would tryand take the stance of just what I've

(18:32):
been off our campus. I wouldtry and pick what I think to be
morally right. Obviously the First Amendmentfreedom of speech, like everybody used to
have the opportunity to do that. But like I think, to a certain
extent, you're being disruptive, youknow what I mean. Like there was
a school, I forget which one, but they had canceled their graduation over
protests and everything. So yeah,I think that's or unforgivable. Grab the
you know, the pro Palestinians andthe pro Israelis and ask them about their

(18:57):
breakups. There we go. Youknow what, I don't combine them right
exactly, gong with them. Yougive me one minute alone in a room
with all those people, the conflictwill be over, I promise. All
right. When we last met youagain, Amanda Janson's with us from cal
Lutheran, you were ho, ohmy gosh. I knew you were gonna
bring this up toim. What's goingon with you? Okay? So I'm

(19:17):
a commuter at cal Lutheran, andlast time I was on the air,
I was like, I sleep inmy car, blah blah blah. But
I have a lot of amazing friendswho do let me sleep in their dorm
and everything, so I'm not technicallyhomeless. I just think as a commuter,
you gotta be scrappy. If youdon't live on campus, you gotta
be there. Okay, you're acommuter, but you that school is in
Thousand Oaks. Yeah, and yourparents live in within walking distance. Well,

(19:38):
I wouldn't say all that. It'sa thirty minute drive. Wow,
Okay, thirty minutes. It's along time. Sometimes they're out partying.
I can't come home. Okay.Your dad probably offered to have you stay
at home if you wanted to,absolutely, Yeah, and you probably have
your own room at home. Ohit's beautiful. Yeah, and you decided
not to because you wanted to,you know, to just sort of wing

(20:00):
it with the kids at school.Well, the way I'm thinking about it,
I have all of my life tolive at home if I want to.
But the college is only four yearsand I have so many amazing friends.
One of my best friends, hername is Aery. She's graduating today.
Congratulations to her. And she livesin Hawaii, So it's like,
wow, what am I going tosee her again, so I gotta them
all this time. I know yourdad's listening. Why doesn't he spring for
an apartment for you? I don'tknow, Larry Jensen. If you're out

(20:22):
there, I mean your options tradeand you got the money, Come on,
man, spring for it. He'san options trader. He is an
options trader. He has a lotof money. Oh he's ready, but
he's actually being very generous. I'mstudying abroad the summer and he's fully paying
for it. Where you going country, I'm going to London, which is
very exciting. I been there before. I went once when I was around
like twelve thirteen, I want tosay, So there's a really big difference

(20:42):
between being twenty one years old andbeing able to run around the country by
yourself and then like going and justlike following your parents around when you're twelve.
So I'm really excited to go back. And what are you studying in
London? What are you? Whatare you working for? So I'm not
going to actually study. I havean internship and it's like a social media
marketing position for a company called photoFusion. So very that. How did
you find out about him online? So one of my friends at CALU actually

(21:03):
did. It's called Ies Abroad. That's like the program, and so I
just applied through that and then youjust like go through interview processes with all
these different people and then they justfind the best internship for you. So
I actually got a couple, butI ended up using this one. It's
called short for kol lous and iskol lou yes, for people that don't
graduate. Are they called kol lousers? I think the people who are there
are calousa tag. All right, stay with us, We're gonna play some

(21:30):
news. Steve Gregory's with us too, he is. He's working on a
huge story here with the college kids. And we have four of the kids
that came in thanks to Tamkin.Kyle Tampkin, who's the professor there,
who I've known since he was born. He love Kyle. His uncle is
in still one of my best buddies, and have known him since seventh grade,

(21:51):
which is a long long time. You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on
demand from KFI AM six forty. We remembered Sam Rubin, who passed away
today at age sixty four. KTLAEntertainment reporter. We did that in the
first hour, hour and fifteen minutes, very sad story. KTLA has been

(22:11):
doing remembering Sam Ruben all day fromone o'clock now till seven, so six
hours and I don't think they've takena break, not even for a commercial.
And so hats off to KTLA forblowing out all their programming, all
their news to remember a really coolguy and a staple here in Los Angeles,
Sam Rubin, who passed away todayat sixty four. Amanda Jansen is

(22:33):
with us. She's from cal Lutheranand she also hosts a show called Spillier
Guts. And we said to thecal Lutheran kids who came in, there
are students of Kyle Tamkin, whois a professor at cal Lutheran. And
he said he wanted to bring thekids in from the radio program and I
said yeah. I said, youknow, if anybody puts us out on

(22:56):
social media and gets a bunch ofhits, we'll have him back. And
four kids did it. Amanda wasone of them. And she goes to
cal Lutheran. You have your ownradio show there. I should do.
It's great and I want to shoutout Nico Ethan and Grace for the other
three winners, and they're also goingto come on later sometime this month or
next and I'm very excited for them. Who is the the real the kid
that was that was really funny? Was it Nico Ethan? Is he one

(23:19):
of the guy kids coming back here? Yeah? But oh we love Ethan
Klein. His Instagram's Ethan Cline Officialand he's just the best. Yeah,
he's really great. All right,So you're you're going to London to do
some kind of internship. I suream excited about that. Oh, I
am so pumped. And when youcome back, what ultimately are you going
to do in show business? Whatwould you like to do in show business?

(23:40):
Well? In radio, big questionwhatever? Oh man, I was
actually just talking and I said,my ultimate goal in life is to just
be famous enough to go on Dancingwith the Stars one time, all I
want. Okay, here's a tip. And I hate to do this on
the air because I don't want toembarrass you. Okay, I'm ready,
But whenever you wear headphones, putthe speakers towards your ear. Okay,
I did it so I can hearyou and I can hear myself. Yeah,

(24:03):
Okay, So that's it was atechnique. I did it on purpose.
I'm going to adopt that because Ilike to hear myself talk, but
I also want to hear you guys. I need a live audio. I
need the live feedback. So ifyou see this one, it's on correctly,
I get it. Wow that allthe kids are doing that. I
guess right. I thought that was. This is what I do. And
I see you too. All right, let's now, if this is a
real radio show, which it is, we'd be covering a news story.

(24:26):
So Steve Gregory is with us andalso Amanda Jansen, and we're going to
cover a news story. Here youready, I'm excited. All right,
here we go, all crazy headphonesand all. Here we go dingdong with
this. This is about people spendingmoney on crap that they don't need.
All right, I'm sure a lotof kids do. Oh I'm guilty of
that. H me too. Ifit turns out more people are buying items

(24:48):
they don't need just because those itemsare on sale. And now there's a
term for the trend. It's calledlosers spaving spathing. Have you heard that
term? I happen? Have youheard of it? Steve no spaving,
SPA v i G. Spending moneyon and saving. Yeah, spending money
just because there's savings, which essentiallymeans spending more to save more. It's

(25:11):
the American pastime where we justify toourselves that I can spend a little bit
more money and I'm somehow saving money. You're not. Here's some examples of
spaving free shipping for spending a certainamount. So you buy one thing they've
been looking at and then suddenly thewebsite sells you. Oh, but if
you buy another thing, you're gonnabe You're gonna save ten dollars in shipping.
Okay, that's that is also adraw, you know, when when
you can spend, when you canget free shipping on something, that's a

(25:33):
huge draw our kids nowadays and aManda, we got to turn to you.
Our people are are is your generationbuying everything online? Or do you
still go to Target and Walmart?Oh? I love walking around Target and
getting things in person. But there'sjust something so magical about having your phone
and seeing something and then you're like, money isn't real, Like I can
just buy this, that's right.I'm a big spavor. Do you still

(25:56):
have your dad's credit card in yourphone, not in my phone. No,
but you can use it. Ican use it if I need it,
but I have rarely needed it.All you have to ask him before
you use it. Oh every time? Yeah, okay, if there's one
thing about Larry Jensen, you gotto ask to use his money. I
like the fact you call Larry. That's great, that's great. That's the
people need to know. We lovehim. My mom's name is Janet Jansen

(26:17):
too. How sick is that?Janet jan She's like Janet Jackson. She's
a rock star. Yeah, welove her for the Jetsons. Is there?
What's the mom's name on the Janej All more on this spaving.
It's a huge deal all the time. Yeap, buy one, get one
deal. So buy one, getthe other one for fifty percent off.
We'll think about that. You don'tneed you only need the first one.
You don't need the second one.It has enticed you to spend. I

(26:40):
do that all the time. Ifit's by two, get one at half
price, I always buy the two. Also, riddle me this, I
do need the second one? Yeah, I want it sometime. You need
the second one exactly. And ifI'm getting money off of the shipping.
Then I'm doing myself and them asurface. I'm helping the economy. Like
come on right. Whenever I goto Walmart, there's an aisle there of
discounted crap that they couldn't sell, and I always go to that aisle to

(27:03):
find stuff that I can buy andthen sell online. My wife sells it
online. And the last time Iwas there, that's a true story.
Last time I was there, Isaw oil filters that I knew they were
selling for three dollars, but Iknew they were sell for thirty dollars online.
They're specific oil filters for cars andtrucks and tractors. And I went

(27:25):
to put a couple in the cartand a guy is standing next to me
and he says, you know that'sa that's an air filter truck for a
tractor. I said, yeah,I know. He goes, oh,
wait say the day I said yeah, I know. He goes, hey,
are you on kfive? And I'mlike, oh, christ, I'm
buying discounted crap to sell online. And he's like ding dong with ding the

(27:48):
worst. All right, back tothe store. Here we go more money
and enticing language and flash sales andan email that says it only we saw
you browsing for this. They're onlysix left, get it now. Those
are all things designed. I dothe same thing where you know, if
it's a flash that they say getit now, or it's going to be,
you know, disappear, you getit now. Airlines do that all
the time. And Steve where youknow this where you go to get a

(28:10):
flight from Bourbank to Colorado and they'llsay only three seats left at this price.
Yes, right, it means yougot to get it now. And
they're full of bs. They're fullof it. You're right, that's right,
that's exactly right. They know thehuman psyche. They get in there
and they root around and they screwwith your head's right, and they make
you feel bad and they put youon edge. That's why I have Amazon.

(28:32):
And then I realize sometimes Amazon's nota good deal. But I love
the convenience I got with you,and you know what, it works,
right, I like it when it'sright there at my house when I show
up every night, it's right there. Plus it's nice to open up a
package you get in the mask.See, that's the other thing that they
haven't talked about. A lot ofthis has to do with the thrill of
the dopamine of opening packages. That'sright, like when you were a kid

(28:55):
and it was your birthday and yougot a letter or a package. Yeah,
touchdown, touchdown, Amanda Jansen. The show is called Spill your Guts.
It sure is. Where can peoplefind it? You can find it
on I Seal your radio and there'sjust like a little online website. You
can hit play live and it'll go. I'm Thursdays from six to seven.
Unfortunately, I am going to begone during the summer, so it won't
be going. But other than thatyou'll be on hiatus. I will be

(29:17):
on a hiatus. Unfortunately, youcan't do the show over there and give
us some like English blokes who've hada bad breakup. If I find a
radio studio in the middle of nowherethat they let me use, I would
love to all right, how dopeople get hold of you on social media?
Do you want to give that out? Oh? I would love to
so on social media. I'm goingto be at Underscore Amanda Jansen. That's
Amanda Ama and DA and then Jansen, JN, S s N and then

(29:38):
Underscore again. Excellent. All right, say hi to your dad. His
name is Larry, right, yes, sir, and Janet's the mom.
Yes, you're so good. Andmy brother Dylan, we love your too.
All right. Congratulations, You're welcomeback anytime. I hope you've met
a huge success from radio. Ithink you will. And good luck with
the program. Thank you. Hey, you know what, if you have
me here and get me famous enoughto get me on Dancing with the Stars,

(29:59):
I'll bring my part. We'll interviewthem ding dong with you, Dingan.
