(00:00):
It's KFI AM sixty and you're listeningto The Conway Show on demand on the
iHeartRadio app. We have updates onthis horrible store coming out of Irvine.
It looks like they have a suspectand he is trapped by the swat team
right off of San Diago Canyon Road, which is between Lake Irvine and the
(00:24):
two forty one. It's parallel tothe two forty one. I mean,
it's literally yards away from the twoforty one, and I'm looking at it
on a map right right now. It's the Saddleback Wilderness entrance there, and
I don't know where that road goesup to, but it looks like it's
(00:44):
a fire road up in that area. And that is probably the back road
to Lake Irvine by Irvine Lake,I should say, but that whole area
is closed off. So San DiegoCanyon Road right paralleling the two forty one
closed because of the police activity.I'm right there at Saddleback Wilderness entrance to
(01:07):
that area. All right, let'sfind out what is what is going on
here with this standoff. Again. We think they have the suspect of the
or the person that was murdered atthe ups driver that was murdered, the
suspect that may have done that. It's story, which is the shooting of
a UPS driver who was on duty. We didn't know where the suspect was,
(01:30):
Well, now we do. Weare looking at Santiago Canyon. This
is a Liso Viejo area, andwe see that that suspect is believed to
be the person in that truck rightthere, that pickup truck, and that
the suspect is barricaded inside their vehiclewith a lot of the law enforcement out
(01:51):
there trying to negotiate a surrender.Christine, and let's get people up to
speed in terms of what happened. We're in the first place, and we
don't know how they found this suspectdriver. We do know. Our top
story tonight was this right here, this UPS driver shot and killed while on
the job. And this happened. We just got information just minutes ago that
the driver was on a lunch break, sitting in that vehicle when the suspect
(02:15):
pulled up in a truck and justopened fire. It described the suspect as
wearing a face mask. A suspecttook off. Don't know any kind of
motive whatsoever. It's a very bizarrestory right now, Why would somebody do
that to a ups driver sitting intheir work truck. But we do know
they have a suspect right there barricaded. Hopefully we'll get some answers tonight.
(02:37):
Yeah. So apparently this driver wouldwas well known to people in the neighborhood.
This is where he would hang outand take his lunch break. The
fact that he this person pulled up, apparently wearing a face mask and shot
at him certainly sounds like something premeditatedbecause you're not wearing a face mask.
Didn't typically thing and for that sortof instant and so we don't know.
(03:00):
Okay, let's go live here toKTLA. They have a helicopter over the
scene here. Let's see if theyhave an update here for kat finding the
gravesitees of loved ones desecrated. Andit's a different story, all right.
Let me get back to the AlexMichaelson here and for that sort of instance,
so we don't know the motive orthe backstory here. We're wondering if
(03:21):
there is one Matthew Sedorf is inIrvine. He just arrived, is talking
to police right now. We'll havemore from him at the top of the
hour as we continue to follow thisbreaking news. Okay, all right,
then we have a can you guyspull seven up on the here into that
pickup truck right now. Shots arebeing fired from multiple directions and now you
can see the dog trying to pullthe suspects from the rear of that cab.
(03:46):
And again this has been a standofffor the better part of the last
half hour to forty five minutes andmurder suspect out of this vehicle, David,
a very active scene here again justabout a mile south of the two
forty one interchange on Santiago Canyon Road. To sit here in the march.
Irvine police with a massive presence hereand the Irvine Swat team boxing in this
(04:09):
pickup truck. We do not knowwhat transpired to get to this point,
only that the murder suspect is wantedfor the killing of a ups driver in
Irvine earlier this afternoon. And nowyou can see war officers closing in on
the rear of that truck as theytried and extract that driver. There he
is right there and being pulled outof the back of that truck. Yeah,
(04:30):
this is really a fascinating launch thetactics they're using. I'm not quite
sure if those rults are some kindof pepper pellets that they were shooting in
the car. Will get clarification onthat. But that dog a hero went
in there, and then they eventuallywent into to help the dog out.
But that was quite something to see. And during the commercial break, Chris,
(04:51):
we were watching them smash the windowsso they can get some sort of
a gas inside that they injected.Yes, they they used a long arm
to inject tear gas into the vehicletrying to smoke the suspect out. And
there's a possibility here looks like ofa second person inside that pickup truck.
(05:11):
So we should clarify that we donot know who is who here. We
do not know who the driver was. But apparently all eyes now on the
back seat of that truck as theytake one person into custody. The tear
gas had the desired result of oneof the people inside that truck opening up
that passenger side door. And justmoments later, as we came on the
(05:35):
air, you saw them approach. The shots were fired, then the canine
was released, and now you cansee SWAT Team officials canel still standing by
looking into the back of that vehicle. So it's unclear if there is anybody
else inside that truck, and ifthere is, what the disposition of that
(05:55):
person may be. There's still peeringinto that truck there, and we heard,
we at least heard that there's apossibility of a second person in there.
You can see them shutting down, shutting that back door, so we're
not sure if somebody in there. It certainly does not appear that there was
any remaining truck inside that truck,as they have now closed the doors to
(06:15):
that truck and that other person isnow being taken into custody. David all
right, Chris continued to watch this. We're going to take a quick break.
We'll be right back. Unbelievable, man, oh man. They blew
the windows out through pepper spray orpeppers, smoke or whatever into that car.
That dog jumped into that car andtore that guy up, and he
(06:38):
was he was chomping and gnawing athim, for he was a nice little
grip with his uh with his jawn. He just saw the jerk back and
back and back as the dog kepttrying to pull him. I bet the
guy was given several warnings to comeout on his own or else that dog
wasn't going to come in, andhe opted for the dog, and that
dog went in there and tore hisass up. That's wildly dug God almighty,
(07:00):
no way to go. What adumb decision. Well, look,
that guy whoever is in the backof that truck has had a you know,
has made a couple of odd decisionsin life, and we got to
see his worst. We got tosee the worst decision that guy's made in
some time. Well, maybe thesecond worst worst was maybe perhaps if he
did kill that ups driver, thatwas the worst. And the second one
(07:24):
was sitting in that car and notcoming out knowing that there's two dogs outside
that car. Plus they had Idon't know if you saw this on Channel
eleven or Channel seven, but theyhad a swat team with a sniper up
on top of that hill, withanother dog on top of that hill.
So they at least three dogs andtwo snipers. I'm aimed at that car
(07:45):
and there's nowhere to go. There'snowhere. You're not going anywhere. There's
about one hundred cops around and nowhereto run. It's not like you're in
a mall. Or in a bigcity or in a big parking lot here
in the middle of nowhere, andthat guy got his ass shoot up.
Man, oh man, that dogreally gnawed on that guy for a while.
You know, heart, you knowmuch that hurts. You know,
(08:05):
when you get bit by a dog, you're like like, that's like the
worst thing could happen to you. You're like, oh man, that hurts.
Like hell, this dog gnawed onhim for almost a minute, just
kept pulling on him, pulling onhis skin and his organs or whatever.
Man, that's when you wish youhad some audio coming from there. Yeah,
and then and you're right, Crows, it's not just the dog,
(08:26):
but it's the results of the teargas. You kept seeing him trying to
lean over the heck cough and hack. Rough Day, Man, rough Day,
another example. Not the place tokill, to commit crimes. They
got a lot of resources, alot of dogs, a lot of snipers.
And that's why it's always voted numberone safe city in America because they
(08:48):
do get their guy out there.Irv on. What a day for that
guy. A lot of bad decisionsin his life and again we got to
see his worst, all right. So that's code four. I guess they
got allegedly, they've got their guys. You know, we don't know this.
The guy or not looks like itmight be and from the reason from
(09:09):
you know, the amount of copswe saw surrounding that guy. He's got
to be the number one suspect, got to be. And so we'll give
you updates if we have any.All right, wow, what are you
an afternoon? Second day in arow. We're Irvine is the source of
our news. Kind of odd.Never I've never been in twenty five years.
(09:30):
We've never done two major stories inIrvine like that. Never yeah,
unless they were a really good story. Yeah, back to back Irvine.
Never remember a week where we havetwo unbelievable stories coming out of out of
a Irvine. All right, we'relive on KFI AM six forty. We
come back. We'll be talking DeanSharp something a little lighter here. You're
listening to Tim Conway Junior on demandfrom KFI AM six forty. What an
(09:54):
afternoon. It's all wrapped up.Santiago Canyon will be open shortly. Looks
like they have the suspect in thatIrvine shooting of the ups driver. So
we'll have information for that, butperfect timing to have Dean sharp on.
Dean, how you Bob in lighterNews. Yes, buddy, look what
a radical afternoon yesterday and today was. But it all ended so you could
(10:16):
come on and talk about outdoor living, which I think is a great idea.
I love the outdoors. People buyhomes and they love looking at the
backyard because they could see their familyspending time out there. And I enjoy
the outdoors, yes, as youshould, and the focus. You know,
I have not approached our outdoor livingshows in past years in specifically this
(10:43):
way before, but I figure, you know what, I've formed everybody up
enough that I can actually broach thissubject. So we're actually talking about this
in terms of this underlying relatively newconcept in architecture called biophilic design. Wait
a minute, I'm going to writethat down biophilic biophilic. Okay. So
(11:05):
when you say that people buy housesbecause they imagine themselves in the backyard,
and da da da da, andwe all love outdoor living, that's very
true. And it goes way,way way beyond just that there are some
people who like being outside and othersdon't. The fact of the matter is
that there are just tons of newscientific studies dealing with trying to address the
(11:30):
idea of like, why are wealso stressed out? Why are we also
filled with anxiety? And you know, and there are, of course,
you know, a million causes, but one of them in a big way
is the fact that we are isolatingourselves like never before from outside and that
if you happen to be a speciesthat has spent the last two million years
living outside, okay, then spendingthe last seventeen indoors and glued to a
(11:58):
screen may may have health and psychologicalconsequences. And that's really the idea of
biophilic to that. So let meask you this question. I'm just gonna
ask you this quick question. Areyou so imagine this? We all know
that noise, too much noise, stresses us out, and there are studies
that show that the more background noisethere is, the more our cortisol levels
(12:18):
go up. Okay, So wethink, all right, I gotta get
some peace and quiet. So here'sthe question of these three options, which
do you think actually relaxes the humanmind? Most one getting quiet with some
meditative music right like on an appTwo, putting in your noise, canceling
headphones and just experiencing silence or threebird song. Ooh, I would say
(12:43):
the headphones. Okay, that wrong, most people would say. But the
answer is bird song. Is thatright? Yeah? Wow, far more
relaxing to the human mind. Andyou know why again, It's because we've
spent the last two million years livingclose to birds. And guess what happens
when there's danger nearby. Oh,the birds get crazy. They go silent.
(13:07):
Oh really, Oh yeah, exactopposite. So somewhere buried in our
brains is the thought that absolute silenceunnerves us a little bit. Really want
we want things quiet, but wewould rather see when you wake up in
the morning and the birds are chirpingout in the yard. You know what
(13:28):
that says subconsciously to all of us, whether you ever learned this or not,
if the birds are out there doingtheir thing and they're not bugged by
anything, it is a signal tothe human brain that, you know what
time gave. Everything is fine, that's wild man, all right, that
is great that I never heard heardthat before. You know, there's a
studio up in northern California, Ithink it's Northern California, and it is
(13:50):
perfect silence. In the studio. It costs them a half million dollars to
build it, and the guy willpay you ten thousand dollars. I think
if you can last for two whilesin it, and so far no one's
been able to do that. Youknow, people spend ten minutes in there
and they've got to get the hellout because it's too quiet. You can
hear your heart beating, you canhear every time you move, you can
(14:11):
hear your muscles, I mean, your your bones rubbing against each other,
and it freaks people out. Silencefreaks people out. Yeah, I would
agree, and it's not that Idon't like a very quiet environment. But
again I would argue that absolute silenceis as unnatural as mechanical noise and the
sound of the city in the background. Why that is why we're talking to
(14:33):
people this weekend about their homes andlike, okay, and this is not
the kind of thing where it's like, well, you know, if you've
got five million dollars, I guess, no, no, no, Now
we're talking about things like buy abird feeder, okay, bring birds into
your yard. Actually, the kindof stuff that we're making I will be
listening this weekend buddy, I reallyappreciate that. A lot of great information.
(14:54):
All right, thank you. Therehe goes Dean sharp everybody. I
didn't know that that makes perfect sensethough, that that birds get really quiet
when there's danger, and so ifyou hear them chirping in the yard,
everything's cool. Coast is clear.Time to get out and enjoy yourself.
All right, welcome back. Well, you're going to have something for you
here. That's kind of a cooldeal. Dave Ramsey is gonna be with
(15:15):
us talking about a big deal. He's got going nice, big financial guy.
So if you're broke, you needmore Dave Ramsey than less. You're
listening to Tim Conway Junior on demandfrom KFI AM six forty. We have
a great guess on a guy I'vebeen listening to and radio for a long
long time. Originally watched him andhurt him with Fox News and he's been
(15:35):
on you know, he's on amillion stations and if you have any kind
of financial question, this guy hasthe answer. He's the absolute best.
Dave Ramsey's with us. Dave, how are you, sir, better than
I deserve? Mister Tom Conway Jr. You know what I think you and
I share a lot in common, except for the fact that I gamble all
my money away and you use yoursto you know, to make money and
(15:56):
help kids out and help charity out. So I think that that's where we
set part ways. Okay, everythingbut that. Yeah, right, But
you played ice hockey when you werea kid, and I also did.
I thought that was cool. Didyou ever have a shot? Did you
ever think of pros or college? No? I wasn't that good. Yeah,
I was the same thing. Iwasn't that great. Yeah. I
played in college and a club team, but that doesn't even really count.
(16:18):
I went to a Bowling Green dreamthat's right. Yeah, I was the
same way, right because the guy'splaying, you know, on the hockey
team. They always had, youknow, the great parties, and so
we actually had a keg party ina hockey game broke out. That's great,
that's terrific. Man. I wentto Bowling Green State University, and
I thought I could make that team, and I so, I, you
know, I bring my bag andyou know, my gear. That's a
(16:41):
serious that's a serious school. Yeah, it was a serious school. However,
mister Ramsey, I get there.I'm all ready to go. I
got my skates, I got mypads on, I got my stick helmet.
Now on the whole run and thecoach and I'm gonna walk on.
And the coach looks around. There'sfifty of us, and he goes you
you, you, and you thankyou. You're not even going to get
a try out. I was onto those guys. Wow, it just
(17:02):
didn't At the body of the ice, yeah, before the ice, I
got Cal's harsh. Yeah. Hey, by the way, congratulations on the
heavy hitters in the top you knowof that list. That's a cool deal.
Well, thank you. We've beenhovering up there number one, two,
three for a long time. Ofcourse Rush was number one, and
when we lost Rush, then meand Sean argue about who's one and two
these days. But we're friends sowe can argue. Yeah. Hey,
(17:25):
now listen, I heard you guyshave an unbelievable event coming up, the
Investing Virtual Event coming up in May. Yeah. This is May twenty first
and twenty second, two nights. We're going to do this. And we
decided to do a virtual event andjust make it available everyone. And it's
honestly, tim it's material I've neverdone before in public I'm going to actually
go through how I buy real estate. And one of the reasons is we've
(17:47):
got all the Ramsey personalities hanging outwith me every day, and they they
actually look at social media and stuff, and they tell me that there's a
lot of junk on TikTok about getrich quick real estate and junk and you
know, just really bad advice onInstagram and that kind of stuff. So
I thought, you know what,I actually owned several hundred million. It's
not like I don't. I'm notin the seminar business to make money.
(18:08):
I actually do it, and somaybe I need to tell people how I
do real estate. So that's oneof the things we're going to be doing,
and of course we'll be going intoother things that we see principles for
picking out the right kinds of investingthe way rich people do it, not
broke people with an Instagram account, right. And also I read this recently
and maybe you can speak on this, but you know a lot of people
(18:30):
have four o one k's and theyjust let it sit there. But eighty
percent of wealthy people have taken theirfour oh one k's and made them work
for them outside of just the companydonation. Is that true? No,
that's probably not an accurate number.I would like that much. Now,
what does happen is is the fouroh one K the build up of wealth
(18:52):
in the four O one K,which could be rolled as something else when
you get to retirement, and thatcould be but if the use of mutual
funds and the four K is oneof the two primary things that we see
that caused people to become millionaires withthe first one to five, one to
six million dollars worth of net worth. So as we did the largest study
of millionaires a couple of years agoever done in North America, we stayed
(19:14):
ten thousand, one hundred and sixtyseven of them. We found that the
typical millionaire had paid off their houseand it was six or eight hundred thousand
or a million paid for house, and then they had been systematically putting money
in their four O one K ingood mutual funds for a decade or two
decades, and they had, youknow, another six or seven hundred thousand
(19:34):
dollars in that And so when youput those two things together, they had
a net worth of over a milliondollars. And that's where we found the
typical millionaire doing that now, grantedto your point, what that study might
be trying to say is that whenyou're sixty five and you got eight hundred
thousand in your four O one K, you might not leave it all in
there. You might move some ofthat and be start to manage some of
(19:56):
that a little bit more proactively.Icy, I see that one is okay.
So for people that want to jumpin on the on the virtual event,
and it's gonna be May twenty firstand May twenty second, it's ramseysolutions
dot com. Yes, kay Solutionsdot com slash events and get signed up,
and it's gonna be two hours eachnight of new material each night.
(20:18):
It's not a repeat and straight through. So plan on being there both nights
in front of your device, andwe're gonna we're gonna really bring out the
stuff. Man. Gonna be alittle bit nerdy, oh but because a
lot of stuff I do is notnerdy. It's more fun and funny.
But this is we're gonna get downin the weeds of this stuff, and
these people that are wanting to learnit, this is the time to do
it excellent and real quickly before wego. We live in Los Angeles,
(20:40):
where I just paid five dollars andsixty two cents for a gallon this morning
of gas. Really, what isit where you live? It was three
eighty at God almighty is that unbelievable? Yeah, but I thought it was
that taxes. It's all taxes. But then again in Venezuela it was seven
cents a gallon. So but yougive up a lot when you live in
Venezuela. The trade Off show TradeDoffs exactly, Dave. I appreciate coming
(21:03):
on. We'll all be looking forwardto this twenty first May twenty second ramseysolutions
dot com. And and thanks forcoming on. I really appreciate. I've
been following you for years and youhave the best advice ever. Man.
Well, thank you, Tam.It's an honor to be on your show.
You're pro and come see us inNashville. Brother, you got a
bump. Takes take care there,he goes, great, Great Dave Rams

that'd be great. All right,we'll continue here a late breaking news.
(22:11):
Kiki just told me there was yetanother shooting on the Metro. It looks
like this one is yet another one, so we're gonna come back with the
details right after this break. Butthis is live breaking news. Yet another
major violent act associated with the Metro. When does this stop? We're live
(22:33):
very busy day here on KFIM sixforty. You're listening to Tim Conway Junior
on Demyan from KFI AM six forty. Busy busy day here again at KFI.
We thought it was gonna be casualthursdays after what happened in Irvine yesterday
with the protesters and the arrests andthe cops and the mayor siding with the
(22:55):
protesters, and some of the teachersor professors siding with the pro testers and
against the cops, calling the copsbrutal and violent. The hole run.
We thought, okay, we're donewith Irvine for the week. There's no
way another big story is coming outof Irvine. And then it happened some
body murdered a ups driver and theydid it in the wrong city. They
(23:18):
did it Irvine and Irvine cops theygot to business, they got to work
and allegedly found this guy in atruck off of Santiago Canyon near Irvine Lake.
Surrounded him with one hundred cops,a couple of dogs, three dogs,
sniper unit, swat team. Theygot a lot of resources in Irvine
(23:40):
and they use them. They usethem, and they broke the windows,
got in the pepper balls or pepperspray, and the guys still didn't want
to come out. They asked hima bunch of times to come out.
They told him to come out, they didn't come out, broke his window,
pepper spray didn't come out. Andthen that doggy got in there and
(24:02):
that was an attention getter. Thedog. The dog gnawed him, gnawed
on him for a while, finallybrought him out or impaled him, and
he came out and he's in atremendous amount of pain. So they think
they got their guy that did this, and all the details will be coming
out over the next couple of days. Irvine cops, they got their guy,
(24:25):
allegedly. All right, tonight isShoweyotani bobblehead doll. That's gonna be
worth a lot of money if youeventually end up keeping that or selling it
on the eBay in the future. You're gonna get one for free if you
attend the Dodger game tonight. Soslide out over to Dodger Stadium and get
yourself a show heo Tani bobblehead.I don't know how many they're giving away.
(24:47):
I don't know whether it's the firstforty thousand or whatever it is,
But get yourself a bobblehead. Andbecause Shoeotani most I think it's all his
family, all his relatives, Ithink a lot of them are still in
Japan. So it doesn't have anentourage to celebrate his his bobblehead night tonight.
So what does he do? Hedoesn't have a translator to show up
(25:11):
with him, because well, histranslators in prison for gambling and allegedly and
stealing money allegedly. So he invitedthis kid, Albert from Mattel Ucla Mattel
Kids Hospital to take his suite forthe night because he didn't have a bunch
of family. I guess when youget a bobblehead, you get a suite
(25:33):
for the night, and you invitefamily and friends, they fill up the
suite and it's a big party.And from what I understand, he didn't
have you know, twenty or thirtypeople in town to fill the suite.
So he invited this kid named Albertfrom them tell Mattel Ucla Kids Hospital and
he got a sign jersey and hegets the suite for the night. So
what a cool, classy move thatis. That's fantastic. So if you're
(25:59):
on your way to Dodger's state himright now and you got tickets, I'm
very jealous because I'm sitting here, you know, in a studio that smells
like hot dogs, and I Kikiand and I'm and I Robin and Steph
Fuge and I'm not sure what wasis it? Is it? Leslie who's
the new person? I was frigingLindy all right, Lindsay, I'll remember
(26:21):
her name. And it smells likehot dogs. Where'd you guys eat today?
What? What? What kind ofhot dogs did you eat? We
went to doghouse, the one that'slike right now destroy Yeah, all right,
that's those are some good dogs. They're delicious. They got great sliders
there too, the cheeseburger sliders.Oh my god, they're the best.
Uh So, busy day here again. And then late in the day,
(26:45):
just when we thought we were done, and this, this, this whole
story started as we were coming onthe air that there was somebody shot in
Irvine ups driver and then they gotthe guy evidently, and that story is
is over. At least the emergencypart of that story is over. And
we thought, okay, that wasit for the day. Now there was
a shooting either on or near theMetro and nobody in Los Angeles. And
(27:11):
I'm telling you nobody, and Iknow I'm a big news junkie. There's
nobody covering it like the great moKelly and he joins us, Buddy,
that set it perfectly for you.Again. You know we're gonna we're gonna
be patient because okay, details arescant right regarding the shooting, whether it
was on the bus or near thebus. We don't want to get in
(27:32):
the front of it, but we'regonna be monitoring it. In fact,
we'll go over what Mayor Bass hassaid, she's had a change of heart.
Wow, from the Metro was safetwo weeks ago to now it's unsafe.
I don't know what changed your mind. I don't know if you if
you use this just a throwaway term, but I heard you say something similar
(27:53):
to this, describing the Metro asuncontrol or on the verge of uncontrollable violence.
Well, if we were on theverge two days ago, I think
we're there. We're there. We'rethere because no one's controlling it. Yeah,
and it has to be controlled. There are too many people that get
around and too many occupations that relyon taking the boss and the Metro and
the you know, the and thelight rail to their job and home.
(28:15):
In theory, I say, yeah, I agree with you, but I
don't know if we can. AndI think Supervisor Barger said it best.
We can't arrest our way out ofthis, right, but we can do
more. And you're very familiar.I was astonished how familiar you are with
the station that's closest to you becauseyou've taken it a lot. Yes,
(28:36):
you took it to and from workfor how long I want to say about
three years? Three year? Yeah, I know this intimately, so when
I'm going to talk about it,I'm talking about it from a first person
standpoint. I'm not saying this inthe abstract. I will never take the
Metro. No, I've taken theMetro and I know what it was,
and I know what it is now. And uh So we'll talk about the
(28:57):
press conference which has had today wherethey're going to have this surge enforcement where
they have more officers on trains, but also will be joined at the bottom
of the hour by Supervisor Holly Mitchell, who's one of the board of Metro.
But also we're going to talk toher about street takeovers. So there's
a lot of stuff that we're goingto get to tonight. I do miss
the old Metro, the old safeMetro. I used to get on at
(29:19):
where the Orange Line and the Redlinemeet in North Hollywood with my King's Jersey
Kings had on and as we progressedall the way down to what then was
Staples Center. People would get on, hockey fans would get on, and
by the time you get down thereas a party, it was now it's
vacant. Well, here's the thing. The argument is being made, and
I've heard a lot that ridership isup to pre pandemic levels. Yes,
(29:42):
we know a lot of people areriding, but I don't know if that
is proof of it being safer orpeople feeling safe yet it Well, you
know, Robert Kvastik with NBC KMBClocal here at Channel four in Los Angeles
last night for his eleven o'clock hitThroughout the night, he got on the
Metro at the Universal station, tookit to downtown, then took the Blue
(30:03):
Line to Long Beach, Long Beach, back to downtown LA Downtown back to
that's my route, Yeah, whichis the route, that's my original route,
Okay. And he interviewed five orsix people as as he was going
to Long Beach, Long Beach backto Universal Studios, and every single person
he interviewed had a personal story aboutan incident that they've had that sounds reasonable,
(30:26):
Yes, every one of them.Yes, because it's uncontrollable. Yeah,
I liked and again taking it intothe King's Gaming back. I liked
going from Highland Hollywood to Universal thatbig ass long time, A long time.
Yeah, it was great. Noone can hear you scream if you
don't know that station in between thestations about maybe three or four minutes,
(30:48):
right. And when I was writingit and they actually addressed it today,
you couldn't get any cell phone service, you couldn't get any Wi Fi,
so when you were down in thetunnel like little stations, you're just there
going to hear he cries for helpon your phone, awear. And they
actually addressed that today. Oh good, okay. Conway Show on demand on
